- 1:50Speaker 1: I have Tz's table. Yes, sir, how long have you?
- 1:53Speaker 1: I mean you're pretty you're like what eighty episodes in
- 1:55Speaker 1: or something like that.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Yeah, he's the stats guy on it. He's pretty good
- 1:59Speaker 3: with it.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Yeah, we're over.
- 2:01Speaker 2: If you add like the swart City podcast and not
- 2:04Speaker 2: including the stuff we did beforehand.
- 2:07Speaker 1: It's around like one hundred and something episode.
- 2:09Speaker 3: And then we had like ten ten sold to the
- 2:13Speaker 3: w W network at the time, so we had like
- 2:15Speaker 3: Drew McIntyre when he was w W Champion on there.
- 2:17Speaker 3: We had Rosenberg on their flat Bush.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Are you like the only super like active active wrestler
- 2:24Speaker 1: to have their own pod? I don't think so.
- 2:26Speaker 3: At that time, they had like Alexa Bliss's podcast was popping.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I didn't even know. Yeah, I didn't.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Yeah, that was like when it was on the network
- 2:33Speaker 3: and all that stuff, and they were just trying to
- 2:34Speaker 3: go Yeah, they were just throwing original.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Yeah, that's like the golden era of the WW. I
- 2:39Speaker 1: missed the network because there was so much original.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Like Corey Graves was popping on there too. He was
- 2:43Speaker 3: doing really well weekly stuff. The New Day had Theirs
- 2:47Speaker 3: and they were doing really well.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Yeah. Shout out to h I think is it the
- 2:51Speaker 1: video game thing that up up down there, up down down, Yeah,
- 2:54Speaker 1: pioneer for sure, freaking pioneer. Shout out woods Man. Are
- 3:00Speaker 1: you you gotta be excited? Man? You're in LA. You
- 3:03Speaker 1: guys are doing the Crypto dot Com arena, the house
- 3:05Speaker 1: Kobe built.
- 3:06Speaker 3: You know, it never been in the building before. Actually no,
- 3:09Speaker 3: I'm lying. I was in there for a Wayne concert.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Okay, but but never for a wrestling No, never wrestled there, never. Yeah,
- 3:16Speaker 1: so the big deal. I heard it selling really really
- 3:18Speaker 1: well too.
- 3:19Speaker 3: That's always a plus. That's always a great thing. Looking
- 3:21Speaker 3: at this card, it should be like this is one
- 3:24Speaker 3: of the ones, like this should sell very well.
- 3:26Speaker 1: It feels like like all in it's it's kind of
- 3:29Speaker 1: massive in terms of just like the amount of like
- 3:31Speaker 1: what could have like like just main event after main event.
- 3:34Speaker 3: It looks like they're like and that's the beauty of art,
- 3:37Speaker 3: Like this is the This revolution is truly the showcase
- 3:42Speaker 3: of what happens when you utilize this roster to the
- 3:44Speaker 3: fullest potential and ability with like not only just in
- 3:49Speaker 3: house talent, like you know, like Kenny's finally on and
- 3:53Speaker 3: killing it, like to Ketch the Hangman MJF who five
- 3:56Speaker 3: years of this company six years now, they never interacted one.
- 4:00Speaker 3: So you got that, and then you got myself and
- 4:02Speaker 3: Ricochet new to Do, guys that weren't here from the
- 4:04Speaker 3: ground up but came through and we want to help
- 4:07Speaker 3: this help with this product. You know, Osprey and Kyle
- 4:10Speaker 3: Fletcher main event like copeing uh freaking Moxley for the
- 4:16Speaker 3: world title, with a lot of implications between just those
- 4:20Speaker 3: two matches, you know, and then you got the women.
- 4:23Speaker 3: You know, Tony Storm and Maria made. What they built
- 4:25Speaker 3: over the last two years is insane. The story they're
- 4:27Speaker 3: telling right with the character arcs MoMA Watanabi versus Mercedes,
- 4:34Speaker 3: like she's killing with the TVs title, one of the
- 4:36Speaker 3: biggest women wrestlers in the world, if not in history.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Then you have like the hurt Sydy Kid defended against
- 4:42Speaker 3: the outright Outrunner. So you got the guys coming up
- 4:44Speaker 3: from the Tag division that just came out of nowhere,
- 4:46Speaker 3: got hot going against these powerhouse tag teams. So there's
- 4:49Speaker 3: a lot of just there's like I feel like any
- 4:53Speaker 3: of these can just main have any Dynamite or any
- 4:55Speaker 3: pay per view every match for sure.
- 4:57Speaker 1: You know you you in my opinion, and I told
- 5:03Speaker 1: you this before, like I follow a w but I
- 5:05Speaker 1: follow it very very very like you know online mostly Yeah,
- 5:10Speaker 1: now that HBO Max is boom and it's a lot
- 5:12Speaker 1: easier to get on the product exactly, But I feel
- 5:16Speaker 1: like you had like, if not the most one of
- 5:20Speaker 1: the most important title runs at aw because I just
- 5:25Speaker 1: felt like, uh, just perspective wise as a fan, like
- 5:29Speaker 1: it just felt like it mattered at a level that
- 5:32Speaker 1: like it was like it was like, I mean, and
- 5:34Speaker 1: then obviously you and Brian Danielson at Wembley Stadium having
- 5:39Speaker 1: just a fucking insane match for you, man, your approach
- 5:44Speaker 1: to holding that belt, and like, like what did you
- 5:49Speaker 1: learn from that rain? And obviously you know dismatch with
- 5:55Speaker 1: Ricochet's to be the number one contender to try to
- 5:57Speaker 1: get it back, But what did you learn from your
- 5:58Speaker 1: reign as champion because that was the first time you
- 6:01Speaker 1: were like the face. I mean, you are one of
- 6:03Speaker 1: the faces of the company, quite literally the face of
- 6:07Speaker 1: the company when you're the title holder, But what did
- 6:09Speaker 1: you learn from that time? Man?
- 6:10Speaker 3: Making what you do matter in every sense every promo,
- 6:14Speaker 3: every time I'm doing a social media plug, every time
- 6:16Speaker 3: I'm doing an interview, like off out of the ring
- 6:20Speaker 3: and on location, everything had to matter. Everything Like as
- 6:24Speaker 3: far as like where that title's being seen had to matter.
- 6:27Speaker 3: I had to put it on display, whether it's in
- 6:30Speaker 3: a music video with Bun b and West Side, They're
- 6:32Speaker 3: holding it. It's on a freaking lowrider, the freaking a
- 6:36Speaker 3: lack you know. In the music video, I got to
- 6:40Speaker 3: place it in like the news in Vegas to promote
- 6:43Speaker 3: that I need to be here. I need to be here,
- 6:45Speaker 3: you know, Nogel Sylvester, who signed BMX, rider, who signed
- 6:49Speaker 3: with Jordan or have him holding the belt? So it
- 6:51Speaker 3: is everything had to matter. Everything had to have a
- 6:55Speaker 3: place and a purpose and a point. So if I'm there,
- 6:58Speaker 3: it means something, it matters. And for that to matter,
- 7:02Speaker 3: I had to matter going into that. So everything that
- 7:05Speaker 3: I've done before that, like all the matches, all the
- 7:08Speaker 3: jump ins, all the run ins, all the like the story,
- 7:11Speaker 3: all the promos, all that had to lead into that
- 7:14Speaker 3: meaning something. For that championship to matter, then the matches
- 7:17Speaker 3: had to deliver. And I feel like that was the
- 7:19Speaker 3: best run of world title matches to buy champion for sure,
- 7:23Speaker 3: you know. And I and that's that's like, that's hard.
- 7:26Speaker 3: That's a hard bar to like go against with you
- 7:29Speaker 3: with Kenny and Danielson going an hour, you know, and
- 7:33Speaker 3: Moxley and the Hangman, you know, all those guys, Jericho
- 7:37Speaker 3: holding the titles before that, and MJF going a year
- 7:41Speaker 3: with it prior to that.
- 7:42Speaker 1: You know, that's a lot to live up to.
- 7:44Speaker 3: So I'm like, I got to be a I got
- 7:46Speaker 3: to be a powerhouse, like like roundhouse, like just boem
- 7:51Speaker 3: right there to the mouth, right right out the gates.
- 7:54Speaker 1: What was your level of where I mean it? Did
- 8:00Speaker 1: you have nerves getting into the program with was Brian
- 8:05Speaker 1: because obviously he's one of the greatest of all time.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I mean he's an all time babyface too, you know, Yeah, no,
- 8:13Speaker 1: no nerves. I mean, you guys put on a fucking masterclass.
- 8:18Speaker 1: If anything.
- 8:19Speaker 3: I had to nerve him down because we're like, you know,
- 8:22Speaker 3: those shows can run long, and it's we have that
- 8:24Speaker 3: certain amount of time window at the end of the
- 8:26Speaker 3: pay per view where we can like go off and
- 8:28Speaker 3: then like the cushion is like two minute window. And
- 8:31Speaker 3: he was concerned about that, and I was like, I
- 8:34Speaker 3: got you. I'll steer you where you need to be.
- 8:37Speaker 3: And then that calmed him down because I was calm. Yeah,
- 8:39Speaker 3: I always feel like that's my job, and that's like
- 8:42Speaker 3: why I'm in the position I'm in because I always
- 8:44Speaker 3: have like ice in my veins, cool calm collective. When
- 8:48Speaker 3: I was tagging with Keith Lee, like I crack a
- 8:51Speaker 3: joke and then our music would play, and then I
- 8:53Speaker 3: go out and then he's laughing coming out right behind me,
- 8:55Speaker 3: because I'm like, I need him in that mode when
- 8:58Speaker 3: he's When Keith Lee's feeling good, you feel.
- 9:00Speaker 1: It, the crowd feels that. You as a viewer, you
- 9:02Speaker 1: feel it.
- 9:03Speaker 3: So every opponent, no matter who I'm with, I want
- 9:06Speaker 3: Tony at behind the desk to be like, oh, what
- 9:10Speaker 3: you need, I'll get it done right, because I want
- 9:13Speaker 3: him to feel like, oh, my performer feels good. I
- 9:15Speaker 3: feel good right, you know, I need everybody feeling on
- 9:19Speaker 3: the top, so I have to feel on.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Top with some of the the darker I guess you
- 9:26Speaker 1: you you're very good at being a heel, but not
- 9:30Speaker 1: I feel like kind of like an anti hero heel
- 9:32Speaker 1: if you will where like you know, I think back
- 9:35Speaker 1: to like obviously early Stone Cold, you know rock when
- 9:41Speaker 1: he was with the Nation of Domination type shit, but
- 9:43Speaker 1: like you really dug in, like especially with with Brian Danielson,
- 9:48Speaker 1: Like I feel like that that in terms of like
- 9:53Speaker 1: some of the material that was discussed, you know what
- 9:56Speaker 1: I mean? Do you like do you guys talk about
- 9:58Speaker 1: what's on or off limits? Or does that take away
- 10:02Speaker 1: from a natural reaction in the ring where if you
- 10:05Speaker 1: got if you snap on some shit that's maybe his
- 10:07Speaker 1: family or something like that. Is it something that you
- 10:09Speaker 1: guys go over. I respect him too much not to
- 10:13Speaker 1: do that, Like, hey, where's the line? Essentially I know
- 10:16Speaker 1: I know where it is.
- 10:17Speaker 3: And if you're like a professional and like you know
- 10:19Speaker 3: we're you're cognizant of that kind of shit. You know
- 10:21Speaker 3: we're not to go it's obvious. You know what you need,
- 10:24Speaker 3: you know what material you need to get the emotion
- 10:27Speaker 3: in the reaction from them, Like I know that certain
- 10:32Speaker 3: controversial things like maybe in real life that the audience
- 10:36Speaker 3: is not going to know. Of course not everybody, And
- 10:38Speaker 3: I don't need people going online to dig it up
- 10:41Speaker 3: to find the meaning behind it. I'd rather give you
- 10:43Speaker 3: something that this is what we present it on camera,
- 10:45Speaker 3: This is what you have to work with, because that's cannon.
- 10:49Speaker 3: I don't want to give you off canon stuff where like, Okay,
- 10:53Speaker 3: our audience is twenty percent of wrestling, three percent of
- 10:57Speaker 3: that's going to know what they're talking about now. I
- 10:58Speaker 3: want twenty percent of people to know what we're talking
- 11:01Speaker 3: about here, and like, because that's where the investment. That's
- 11:05Speaker 3: where everybody's invested. I'd rather go for the majority of
- 11:08Speaker 3: people that know certain things than that makes sense minority,
- 11:11Speaker 3: you know what I mean. It's like it's it's almost
- 11:13Speaker 3: like in a performance in a rap verse, like putting
- 11:16Speaker 3: like if when you're performing.
- 11:17Speaker 1: This, like you want to do the hits. Yeah, you
- 11:19Speaker 1: want the hits. And like maybe like this little.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Slide line right here is about like a dude that
- 11:26Speaker 3: wrote something in a studio in the song, like he
- 11:29Speaker 3: doesn't matter. Like it's like, yeah, maybe certain people in
- 11:32Speaker 3: the circle may know that, but like when you're performing
- 11:35Speaker 3: and hits, you want that thing to boom, so everybody
- 11:39Speaker 3: gets invested in that song.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what I mean. You've done a lot
- 11:43Speaker 1: of stuff with celebrities. Yeah, whether it's Ross Westside Gun
- 11:48Speaker 1: bun Bee. I want to know your take on the
- 11:55Speaker 1: Traviscott punch. Oh man, that's wild.
- 11:58Speaker 3: That's a that's an exciting that's a very excited artist
- 12:02Speaker 3: who finally got to do his dream right.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Well, you know what I mean, Like.
- 12:08Speaker 3: I'm in here and you're in there with the two
- 12:09Speaker 3: biggest icons that we have left in this.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Like a top ten iconic moment in wrestling history with the.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Two biggest icons that's ever done it. So of course
- 12:17Speaker 3: you're excited, and you're with the world champion of like,
- 12:21Speaker 3: so this is the guy that's going to be the
- 12:22Speaker 3: one for that era, for this era and moving forward.
- 12:25Speaker 1: So that's a lot of excitement, that's a lot of pressure.
- 12:28Speaker 3: And that's what happens when you get excited with someone
- 12:30Speaker 3: who's not in our industry.
- 12:33Speaker 1: You know, it's it's an exciting moment.
- 12:35Speaker 3: It's like, what the hell would we do if like,
- 12:38Speaker 3: like I think you like, you know, like I mean
- 12:41Speaker 3: a wrestler got on the stage and they would do
- 12:43Speaker 3: dumb shit too on the freaking you know, on a concert,
- 12:46Speaker 3: you know. But that's like not industry etiquette for you know,
- 12:50Speaker 3: so it's just a crossover things like he doesn't know
- 12:54Speaker 3: and there's no way they went over that, right, I
- 12:56Speaker 3: don't think. I don't believe so yeah, I don't believe
- 12:58Speaker 3: so and I feel like they like they wanted that
- 13:01Speaker 3: so they could feel natural. Sometimes you want like just
- 13:03Speaker 3: the natural reaction from other people outside of wrestling.
- 13:06Speaker 1: You want them to.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Just just be natural, just flow and feel because.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Then it'll feel real.
- 13:11Speaker 3: But sometimes that stuff happens and it's like, ah, too far,
- 13:14Speaker 3: too much, you know, and you know, I don't know.
- 13:18Speaker 3: I was like on that golf course with Travis not
- 13:22Speaker 3: that long ago. You were telling me, Yeah, he didn't
- 13:24Speaker 3: know that was coming, but he was telling me. He's like,
- 13:26Speaker 3: I'm excited, man, I'm training with Booker to just want
- 13:29Speaker 3: to be wow, Like I'm he was more wanted to
- 13:31Speaker 3: talk about wrestling and he wanted to talk about music, and.
- 13:33Speaker 1: That's usually how it is.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Like so he was like excited, and I'm like, oh cool,
- 13:38Speaker 3: he's excited. I just I'm like, just make sure you know,
- 13:42Speaker 3: take care of yourself and others.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Do you feel like the the heel turn. I saw
- 13:49Speaker 1: a lot of people with the hyperpoli. That hyperbole is
- 13:52Speaker 1: very high, like oh this is this is bigger than Hogan.
- 13:57Speaker 1: I don't think anything will ever be bigger than Hogan
- 13:58Speaker 1: because it changed the direction. Still talk about it right
- 14:01Speaker 1: exactly literally like Save the Company started money Night Wars
- 14:04Speaker 1: and is born like the biggest faction ever. He can
- 14:07Speaker 1: say that because we saw the ripple effects of it.
- 14:09Speaker 3: Yeah, what the ripple effects is exactly.
- 14:13Speaker 1: We can't say that. The memes coming out of it,
- 14:16Speaker 1: the face it is it's it's hilarious, but it's like, Okay,
- 14:22Speaker 1: how impactful is that? That shakes the industry? Right?
- 14:26Speaker 3: Like does it? I don't know if that changes what
- 14:28Speaker 3: happens over here. I don't know if it like changes.
- 14:31Speaker 3: I mean that's not right. Yeah, yeah, we don't know,
- 14:34Speaker 3: like we gotta.
- 14:35Speaker 1: I'm so glad it happened before he retired for sure,
- 14:37Speaker 1: because he needed to see it. Absolutely, don't you think? Yeah,
- 14:40Speaker 1: I don't. I don't care to see it, but I'm
- 14:43Speaker 1: just glad person.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know, absolutely, I'm just interested to see
- 14:47Speaker 2: where he where he takes it.
- 14:49Speaker 1: I'm so interested in what he's gonna wear, Yeah, because
- 14:53Speaker 1: he can't wear the colorful. He's got to like what's
- 14:55Speaker 1: the fit gonna look like? What's the song gonna be?
- 14:57Speaker 1: What the song gonna be? What's the fit going to be? Like?
- 15:00Speaker 1: Is it all black? Like? Is like there's some MK
- 15:03Speaker 1: ultra shit going on because it almost looked like when
- 15:06Speaker 1: the rock looked at that fool, he almost had like
- 15:08Speaker 1: some mind control. It was crazy. That was my favorite part.
- 15:11Speaker 1: And then when Cody said, go fuck yourself and if.
- 15:13Speaker 2: I'm if I'm him, I don't. I don't wrap my
- 15:15Speaker 2: own song either no I don't do it.
- 15:17Speaker 1: No you can't.
- 15:17Speaker 4: No, no, no no.
- 15:19Speaker 1: You've dealt with a lot of celebrities, is there, like okay,
- 15:22Speaker 1: for example, like Rick Ross, Yeah, does Rick Ross know
- 15:27Speaker 1: you're gonna swerve stomps like a fucking cinder block into
- 15:30Speaker 1: someone's chest? Oh yeah, well he's standing there. Oh yeah,
- 15:32Speaker 1: he was excited about that. So you're like, look, this
- 15:34Speaker 1: is what's gonna happen.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Yeah, He's like, let's do it. Nothing's easy, too easy.
- 15:38Speaker 1: So you guys have like a little powow backstage essentially
- 15:42Speaker 1: like hey, this was like was there ever? Because I
- 15:43Speaker 1: feel like Ross is like an aw like you know,
- 15:46Speaker 1: like was there ever any like real discussion like maybe
- 15:48Speaker 1: bringing him on as like a manager or something.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just like him telling like you a big
- 15:52Speaker 3: motherfucker kind of changed some things a little bit.
- 15:54Speaker 1: It was like I don't know.
- 15:56Speaker 3: And then like antony Kin is the mindset of like
- 15:59Speaker 3: over is it? But he just keeps moving forward.
- 16:02Speaker 1: You know.
- 16:02Speaker 3: He's always said like, we can revisit it, let's talk
- 16:04Speaker 3: about it, Like I like him less, we can visit it,
- 16:06Speaker 3: But then this happens. Then this happens, and this happens
- 16:09Speaker 3: and then the company is going this way. It's like, oh,
- 16:13Speaker 3: you know, I'll let you keep sharing.
- 16:16Speaker 1: I would love to see method man. He's an imposing guy.
- 16:20Speaker 1: His fucking jack imposing fellow man, and he could be
- 16:23Speaker 1: I feel like Meth could snap on a mic. Yeah.
- 16:25Speaker 1: I feel like he has a good He has a
- 16:27Speaker 1: good voice for it, for sure. He has a great
- 16:29Speaker 1: voice for TV, for radio, for music.
- 16:31Speaker 3: I think for like doing promos and stuff in the ring,
- 16:34Speaker 3: it would translate. And you know why I think you
- 16:37Speaker 3: have that because we've seen him on def Jam and
- 16:39Speaker 3: of course, so I think that's a great character. He
- 16:42Speaker 3: Thats what I'm saying. He's a great character in the game.
- 16:44Speaker 3: So I think just subconsciously we're all like, oh, just
- 16:47Speaker 3: take what he did in the game where he just
- 16:49Speaker 3: boom boom boom does this. I'm like that can that
- 16:51Speaker 3: can like transfer right into wrestling. I think that that
- 16:54Speaker 3: game has also done that to a lot of like
- 16:56Speaker 3: I want to see so and so, and sure, I
- 16:58Speaker 3: want to see this rapper Suh Joe getting the ring.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Somebody did a like a recreation of Vendetta about it
- 17:06Speaker 1: was like the Kendrick and Drake thing as hell.
- 17:09Speaker 3: I would like to see like, uh, deaf Jam and
- 17:12Speaker 3: then like somebody like because you know all the games
- 17:14Speaker 3: are on PC and stuffs modem and put like current
- 17:17Speaker 3: artists in that.
- 17:18Speaker 1: No even like like I guess what they're kind of doing.
- 17:22Speaker 1: That was but it's not a fighting game, But what's Fortnite.
- 17:24Speaker 1: There's always you could be Snoop, you could be Weekend Travis.
- 17:27Speaker 1: I want them to mod like deaf Jam because like
- 17:30Speaker 1: they got to bring the game back. There's no way
- 17:33Speaker 1: it's going to happen.
- 17:34Speaker 3: I've heard about I listened to like interviews about that,
- 17:36Speaker 3: and there's like it's just licensing.
- 17:38Speaker 1: The problem is is the licensing. And then like because
- 17:41Speaker 1: deaf Jam doesn't have as many artists. I mean they
- 17:43Speaker 1: still have all the old school guys like I'm sure
- 17:44Speaker 1: they could use, but like in terms of the newer guys,
- 17:46Speaker 1: there would just be it'd be a licensing head.
- 17:49Speaker 3: And then and then there's like the like this company
- 17:51Speaker 3: and this company are like, oh, he can't make this.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Rapper look weak in this and he can't beat and
- 17:56Speaker 1: she can't. It's too much ego.
- 17:59Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, too much, way too much. That's why I
- 18:01Speaker 3: was hearing the interviews.
- 18:03Speaker 1: You were at the super Bowl. Yeah, and you got
- 18:05Speaker 1: to see Kendrick's halftime show yes on TV. I was
- 18:10Speaker 1: freaking the fuck out. Yeah, it was amazing. I was
- 18:13Speaker 1: just losing my mind. I was at Fluffy Shot at
- 18:15Speaker 1: Gabriel or Glacys. He has a Super Bowl party.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Wowa was x Poc was there? I ran into Tech
- 18:23Speaker 3: nine shout out of tech I'm sure he was there. Yeah,
- 18:25Speaker 3: I ran into him at the but I brought him
- 18:28Speaker 3: on a w on an episode of Rampage once.
- 18:31Speaker 1: He needs to do someone's theme song a Tech nine
- 18:33Speaker 1: themes Incredibly, it would be in so good crazy, it'd
- 18:36Speaker 1: be so good. But what were your like just being there? Man?
- 18:38Speaker 1: Like was it? What did it feel as cool? Like?
- 18:41Speaker 3: It felt cool? But it was just like it was.
- 18:44Speaker 3: It was definitely a show and a performance for television.
- 18:46Speaker 1: For TV because I thought that in my head, like
- 18:49Speaker 1: if you're sitting up at the rafters, I'm not sure
- 18:50Speaker 1: you're getting everything going on.
- 18:52Speaker 3: Yeah, like in certain angles and stuff, especially if you're
- 18:54Speaker 3: sitting on this side, you're missing the X part when
- 18:57Speaker 3: you're at the x'es and like peekaboo, you're missing like.
- 19:01Speaker 1: You're missing like everyone moving around. Yeah, it's a lot
- 19:03Speaker 1: it was so many moving parts.
- 19:04Speaker 3: So if I, like I was in like end zone corner.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Could you even catch some Serena Williams krip walking. No,
- 19:10Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying. Oh, that's like a little tidbit that.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Because there's like fifty people over here, Trent like making
- 19:17Speaker 3: a formation, and then you have like, oh, snap, there's
- 19:20Speaker 3: a spotlight over here.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Who is that? Oh I missed it.
- 19:22Speaker 3: It's gone okay, and then people popping out of the
- 19:24Speaker 3: truck and I'm like, oh Sam, they all came over Okay,
- 19:27Speaker 3: there's something forming over here. So it's like as a
- 19:29Speaker 3: live on it, it's a lot to see and like,
- 19:31Speaker 3: but shout out to like the fact of like Kendrick
- 19:34Speaker 3: being able to perform and move up and down the fields,
- 19:36Speaker 3: four stages, all breath control and this caenus is probably
- 19:40Speaker 3: one of the hardest cadences to hit and wrap.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Oh yeah, and like on beat and like on an
- 19:45Speaker 1: ear piece. I just like the fact steps it was easy. Yeah,
- 19:49Speaker 1: it was just the opposite. I mean that, and to
- 19:51Speaker 1: me that's what makes great artists.
- 19:53Speaker 3: Yeah, but it definitely was a performance for the masses
- 19:55Speaker 3: because like one hundred million people watching.
- 19:58Speaker 1: All the hits he he did album cuts. He started
- 20:01Speaker 1: it off with a song it's not even out yet,
- 20:03Speaker 1: which is fucking crazy. Yeah, I'm like, and I'm glad
- 20:05Speaker 1: he did it the way he did it. That track list.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I'm glad he did that track list.
- 20:08Speaker 3: Some people arguing about the track list, but I'm like,
- 20:10Speaker 3: you got all right at the last super.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Bowl, you got he already did those with dre Yeah.
- 20:16Speaker 3: So it's like and that was that was the big
- 20:18Speaker 3: ones because like everybody, if you I watched that back
- 20:21Speaker 3: again recently, it's like everybody did their big like like
- 20:24Speaker 3: no more drama and like like like lose yourself in
- 20:29Speaker 3: the club. So everybody hit their bone boom, their.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Hits, hits, hits. So you got that.
- 20:33Speaker 3: Like Kendrick just wanted to create a piece of art
- 20:36Speaker 3: that was identifiable to him.
- 20:37Speaker 1: He didn't want to.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Be deep do other people's like shows. But that's what
- 20:41Speaker 3: makes him him, that's what keeps him in that his
- 20:43Speaker 3: own world. He's bringing us into our world. And for
- 20:47Speaker 3: people that do know him and that don't know him,
- 20:50Speaker 3: you're being introduced into his world right, and it succeeded.
- 20:53Speaker 3: And for the people that do know him, we know
- 20:55Speaker 3: why he's here and we know the song we want
- 20:57Speaker 3: to hear, so you get.
- 20:59Speaker 1: A bit, you get all of it.
- 21:00Speaker 3: And so I don't know why people say, no, he
- 21:02Speaker 3: should have done this, he should have done this. How
- 21:03Speaker 3: about just being invited into his world and just enjoy
- 21:06Speaker 3: the That's the best part. He brought everyone into his world,
- 21:08Speaker 3: exactly for sure. That's why we listened to Kendrick albums.
- 21:11Speaker 3: What's His World?
- 21:12Speaker 1: Indeed, that's the whole point. You were at super Bowl
- 21:16Speaker 1: with Mercedes. I got to meet her with Snoop at
- 21:19Speaker 1: Snoop's release party, and I was just like, he like
- 21:23Speaker 1: introduced her, like I was like, yep, yeah, but uh,
- 21:31Speaker 1: you know, I know you guys are friends, and you know,
- 21:36Speaker 1: her coming to the company was such a big deal.
- 21:38Speaker 1: She's obviously one of the greatest wrestlers of all time,
- 21:41Speaker 1: let alone female all time and important to one hundred percent.
- 21:46Speaker 1: What are what are the things you think like just
- 21:48Speaker 1: adding her to the roster. It's been over a year now,
- 21:52Speaker 1: you know, obviously she killed it in New Japan. What
- 21:56Speaker 1: do you think it did for the company? Bringing somebody
- 21:58Speaker 1: like that.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Over It shows that this is a place to be.
- 22:02Speaker 3: It shows, like I feel like when we talk about
- 22:05Speaker 3: competition in wrestling. The competition is the fact that we
- 22:08Speaker 3: can get that talent and we can also match the deals,
- 22:12Speaker 3: and it's like it's an option. So when it comes
- 22:14Speaker 3: to like that, that's where negotiation power. That's what makes
- 22:17Speaker 3: Mercedes who she is, and that brings her stock and
- 22:20Speaker 3: it brings everyone else up. And so yeah, and it's like,
- 22:22Speaker 3: now it's for the talent. Now where the talent can
- 22:24Speaker 3: make that choice, we have the option. We can steer
- 22:27Speaker 3: the ship, empower and generate our value. And like Shannon
- 22:31Speaker 3: Sharp said on Club Chase, she your value is what
- 22:34Speaker 3: someone's willing to pay for you in your service. So
- 22:37Speaker 3: now it's like, okay, our value goes up. But like
- 22:43Speaker 3: Sasha Banks had value, Mercedes has more value now because
- 22:47Speaker 3: of all Leat Wrestling existing. Same thing going the other way,
- 22:51Speaker 3: Cody had more value because of what all Leat Wrestling
- 22:55Speaker 3: was able to do and perpet same with Punk, same
- 22:57Speaker 3: with Moxlei coming to aw our values increasing, going back
- 23:02Speaker 3: and forth, Ricky starks to Saints, his value increased for
- 23:06Speaker 3: them to draw that interest for him, and it's just
- 23:08Speaker 3: only powering everybody's value.
- 23:10Speaker 1: To go up more.
- 23:11Speaker 3: So hopefully that increases the value of pro wrestling in general.
- 23:15Speaker 3: So everything goes up, and so I feel like Mercedes
- 23:21Speaker 3: was the one that does do that, do that big
- 23:23Speaker 3: for the women right now. It makes Becky Becky Lynch
- 23:26Speaker 3: look like a little hmmm, or it makes New Dago hmm.
- 23:31Speaker 3: I wonder maybe it makes Charlotte go hmmm. I wonder
- 23:35Speaker 3: maybe it makes all those top level people that you
- 23:38Speaker 3: thought would never in a million years abandoned ship or
- 23:41Speaker 3: look for somewhere else to go.
- 23:43Speaker 1: It opens that door a little bit.
- 23:46Speaker 3: That's where competition lies in this industry.
- 23:49Speaker 1: So it did. It did wonders for me too.
- 23:53Speaker 3: It brought my value up to make history in Wembley
- 23:56Speaker 3: and then with the Dynasty and.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean she signed a pretty crazy contract. Yeah yeah,
- 24:02Speaker 1: very very little bit of rats, thank you, thank you,
- 24:04Speaker 1: you're you're, you're, you're with them. I think I read
- 24:06Speaker 1: till twenty twenty nine or something like you're locked in. Yep,
- 24:10Speaker 1: there's nowhere else I would rather be.
- 24:11Speaker 4: No.
- 24:11Speaker 3: I mean, you know, it's funny say that, Like a
- 24:13Speaker 3: lot of people say it's like, oh, that's just a
- 24:15Speaker 3: pr he's supposed to say that ship. No, I mean
- 24:17Speaker 3: that shit from the bottom of my heart. There's no
- 24:18Speaker 3: other place I'd rather be and not do. I have
- 24:20Speaker 3: bad days and opposed to good days of course, like
- 24:24Speaker 3: this is this is a job. I have frustrations here
- 24:26Speaker 3: and there, but I worked through those frustrations better here
- 24:29Speaker 3: than I did in other places anywhere else in the world,
- 24:32Speaker 3: whether it be Lucha Underground, mlw WW, NXT. I've like
- 24:38Speaker 3: found Tony Kahan and me have always worked through frustrations
- 24:42Speaker 3: and and I've.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Always let you cook too.
- 24:44Speaker 3: Yeah, but there's certain times I'm like, ah, we didn't
- 24:47Speaker 3: cook as best as we could have been able to cook.
- 24:49Speaker 3: And I'm I'm someone I'm not going to have ask that.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Was there a match that you had that you were
- 24:54Speaker 1: disappointed with? Were you thought the expectations were super high
- 24:57Speaker 1: and you were like, man, like I did, it wasn't
- 25:01Speaker 1: what I hoped it had been. Oh for sure. I
- 25:04Speaker 1: felt like.
- 25:06Speaker 3: The tag title match dropping them to Acclaimed could have
- 25:09Speaker 3: been better. And that was one of those moments I'm like,
- 25:12Speaker 3: I'll never go through a match where I left something
- 25:14Speaker 3: on the table and I was like, no, everybody, I
- 25:17Speaker 3: don't care who's involved.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Everybody put their ship and I was like, I will
- 25:22Speaker 1: never like, you don't have to do that again.
- 25:24Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I can't like y'all whoever can be like
- 25:27Speaker 3: happy having that feeling like, no, not when you I'm
- 25:31Speaker 3: in this and I have to like if I'm raising it,
- 25:35Speaker 3: y'all got to raise this ship and like and since
- 25:38Speaker 3: then I haven't had anything.
- 25:40Speaker 1: I was like, oh man, there could have been more
- 25:41Speaker 1: for you know you how how how scary is it
- 25:47Speaker 1: to stab someone with some scissors on TV? Oh? Terrifying?
- 25:52Speaker 1: I think everything we do is scary, terrible. I mean,
- 25:55Speaker 1: you've done some crazis, but it's like, you know, you
- 25:57Speaker 1: just I always tell.
- 25:58Speaker 4: People for me to stab or be stack well both,
- 26:01Speaker 4: but it's like, you know, I saw you had ricochet
- 26:04Speaker 4: with the scissors and I was just like, yeah, I
- 26:07Speaker 4: mean you got to be a real fucking professional to
- 26:08Speaker 4: pull that out.
- 26:09Speaker 3: You gotta swing you can't right, you have to swing
- 26:14Speaker 3: that right, And like it was one of those I'm
- 26:17Speaker 3: swinging through you, Trevor, because I have to get it
- 26:20Speaker 3: back to him. And if you're giving something back to
- 26:22Speaker 3: someone that got you, it has to be tenfold. It
- 26:25Speaker 3: has to be bad shout out to Cody Rosa, Travis Scott.
- 26:29Speaker 3: It has to be bigger on the comeback, especially as
- 26:32Speaker 3: the good guy babyface, it has to come back tenfold.
- 26:35Speaker 3: So with a prop involved, it's always sketchy, you know,
- 26:39Speaker 3: it's a variable. Yeah, that's why, like me dvding Hangman
- 26:44Speaker 3: on the cinder block on our Texas Death, he had
- 26:47Speaker 3: to go back full fold with a power bomb on
- 26:50Speaker 3: it at the cage to bring that back around.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Yeah. That's the other thing too, Like there's not fake
- 26:55Speaker 1: cinder blocks. People don't understand, like, yeah, I saw you.
- 26:58Speaker 1: You know Maven he's got a YouTube chant right now. Yeah,
- 27:01Speaker 1: I like his stuff. He was explaining like the thumb
- 27:04Speaker 1: tack thing, and so he just like went through like
- 27:08Speaker 1: like are the these are the thumb tacks that wrestlers use?
- 27:11Speaker 1: And he was like and they were just real thumb tacks.
- 27:13Speaker 1: He's like, no, they're real. He's like, there's no, there's
- 27:16Speaker 1: no like you know, bullshit thumb tacks, Like yeah, and
- 27:19Speaker 1: that's what.
- 27:20Speaker 3: And so it makes you think, like it makes you
- 27:22Speaker 3: look back at like Orton going through that ship and
- 27:24Speaker 3: his knees and Rick Flair having him in his elbow.
- 27:27Speaker 1: That's that's really there.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Yeah, but the cinder block's gotta be fuck. That's brutal,
- 27:32Speaker 3: That's why I'm the only one that uses it. I'm
- 27:34Speaker 3: the only one stupid enough to actually do it.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Yeah, and did did like when you first introduced this,
- 27:43Speaker 1: like is does do you have to talk to Tony
- 27:45Speaker 1: and say, hey, I know this might be Uh.
- 27:48Speaker 3: No, I told him, Hey, Tony, we're using cinder block.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Okay, that's dope.
- 27:53Speaker 3: If anything, I had Dustin Rhodes as like producer on it,
- 27:56Speaker 3: and he was like he was worried about the staples.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Staples.
- 27:59Speaker 3: He was like, He's like, can we just get that cleared?
- 28:02Speaker 1: Can we just can we just?
- 28:04Speaker 3: I just I don't want to, you know. And then
- 28:07Speaker 3: I was like.
- 28:07Speaker 1: To him, he just started his own Uh didn't he
- 28:09Speaker 1: just start a uh?
- 28:11Speaker 3: To Dustin in general, man, that like he's been the
- 28:14Speaker 3: guy behind a lot of my great matches, like and
- 28:18Speaker 3: he always like he doesn't tell me what to do,
- 28:20Speaker 3: but he suggests things and where they should go, and
- 28:23Speaker 3: he always puts like a perspective on where I'm like, oh,
- 28:26Speaker 3: now you got me really thinking. And then I'm like,
- 28:28Speaker 3: how would you do it? And he's like, well, I
- 28:30Speaker 3: would go this way with it. But he never tells
- 28:33Speaker 3: me what to do. He never lets the performer like
- 28:36Speaker 3: he doesn't. You don't tell the performer what. You don't
- 28:38Speaker 3: tell the rapper how to rap.
- 28:40Speaker 1: This is my perspective, what you want, this.
- 28:42Speaker 3: Is what like you guide them, which is what MANTESI
- 28:46Speaker 3: did with me, helping me learn how to make music.
- 28:49Speaker 3: He always just guided me in the direction where he
- 28:52Speaker 3: thought that me the fit me the most, instead of
- 28:56Speaker 3: like that's where like and I'm glad I got that,
- 28:58Speaker 3: rather than I sound like this rapper all that, and
- 29:00Speaker 3: he's like, no, I'm letting you find your own voice.
- 29:03Speaker 1: So how long have you have you guys been hanging
- 29:06Speaker 1: eight years and then you brought him into the music game. Yes, yes,
- 29:10Speaker 1: I did, Yes I did.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Just so you just know, you just know when somebody's
- 29:14Speaker 2: got it, or with somebody you believe somebody can do it.
- 29:17Speaker 1: You know.
- 29:18Speaker 2: It was just a random conversation. We was in Tennessee
- 29:20Speaker 2: at a wrestle show. I was doing some commentating and
- 29:23Speaker 2: one day I just said to him, I said, Bro,
- 29:25Speaker 2: I believe you could rap.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Bro, And he's like yeah, I was like, Bro, I
- 29:29Speaker 1: just saw to see it. You have the look of one.
- 29:31Speaker 2: So if you go in the studio and you and
- 29:34Speaker 2: you try this, then I think it could work out
- 29:36Speaker 2: for you. But the way I was raised is like, look, man,
- 29:40Speaker 2: you have to get a blank canvas a lot of
- 29:43Speaker 2: times and just put art out there. When you get
- 29:45Speaker 2: in the studio, get comfortable with your voice, get comfortable
- 29:48Speaker 2: with what you're saying, find out who you are as
- 29:50Speaker 2: an artist. And the main thing I told him, I said, Man,
- 29:52Speaker 2: I'm good, but I don't want you to sound like me.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Don't sound like me. Be your own own person, because
- 29:57Speaker 2: a lot of times when people do try to mentor
- 29:59Speaker 2: or try to do things, they kind of make the
- 30:01Speaker 2: mistake or want them to be just like them, and
- 30:03Speaker 2: the kind doesn't work out because it's like, well, why
- 30:06Speaker 2: are you having a car? Already got you so I
- 30:08Speaker 2: don't need a car copy, I said, man, be your
- 30:10Speaker 2: own man. So when we made all these all these
- 30:12Speaker 2: records together, said Mandas, put the blank cameras out to you,
- 30:15Speaker 2: direct the records and I can fill in because I
- 30:17Speaker 2: know I know what I'm doing already. And when he
- 30:19Speaker 2: started figuring out, each song got better, each project got
- 30:22Speaker 2: better better until he got comfortable with with who he is.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Now he's five six years into his career. So I
- 30:28Speaker 2: just seen the growth. But that was imperative. I said, look, man,
- 30:31Speaker 2: be your own man, bro be your.
- 30:32Speaker 1: Own man, and truth be told.
- 30:33Speaker 3: When like I first first started stepping in the booth,
- 30:36Speaker 3: in the booth in Saint Pete with T, he was
- 30:40Speaker 3: like the booth is tiny, so it felt like a
- 30:42Speaker 3: psychophagus in there for me, and I'm like, oh man,
- 30:45Speaker 3: it's just me. I don't have TZ in here to help.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Me be in my ear.
- 30:48Speaker 3: You know, you're tightening there, and it felt like it's
- 30:52Speaker 3: like Daredevil getting getting into that freaking time that chamber.
- 30:57Speaker 3: I was like, I felt I felt like kind of lost,
- 31:00Speaker 3: and I was unsure of myself so much it felt
- 31:03Speaker 3: like the wrestling grind started back over again, all the
- 31:05Speaker 3: way back to year one. And so now I was like, okay,
- 31:08Speaker 3: now I gotta find that comfortability. The same way I
- 31:10Speaker 3: find the comfortability in the wrestling, I gotta find it
- 31:12Speaker 3: in music. And it was without him I wouldn't have
- 31:14Speaker 3: as quick as I did because he was drilling me
- 31:17Speaker 3: over and over and over again, Pauls.
- 31:19Speaker 1: And like just like making sure, like I just I
- 31:23Speaker 1: just played that. So he was but he was just
- 31:28Speaker 1: kept He's like like like he made sure.
- 31:30Speaker 3: And then he also put me on records like with
- 31:32Speaker 3: like Mickey Fax and John Connor and these are like spinners,
- 31:35Speaker 3: and I had to go after these guys.
- 31:36Speaker 1: I'm like, fuck, what do I like? Where? Where's the
- 31:39Speaker 1: where do Where's the gear that I shift into? And
- 31:42Speaker 1: he would guide me into that.
- 31:43Speaker 3: Then like I would challenge him with like music Soul
- 31:46Speaker 3: Child on the record, and then like so he had
- 31:49Speaker 3: to step back into like spinner, spinner spinner mode and
- 31:52Speaker 3: go be vulnerable because I'm an R and B soul
- 31:54Speaker 3: at heart like and music So Child was my favorite
- 31:57Speaker 3: single of all time.
- 31:57Speaker 1: He just recorded. He was just here two nights ago
- 31:59Speaker 1: with music, so they were they had like a six
- 32:01Speaker 1: hour session right here.
- 32:03Speaker 3: We recorded with him in Atlanta till like four in
- 32:05Speaker 3: the morning.
- 32:06Speaker 1: We were like up, like no, we're not tired. We're
- 32:09Speaker 1: here with our legends.
- 32:11Speaker 3: So like getting him to be in a vulnerable place
- 32:14Speaker 3: talking about those relationships we talk about like our girls
- 32:17Speaker 3: are tripping, our baby moms, dealing with our kids and stuff,
- 32:20Speaker 3: and like his health concerns and bringing those up in
- 32:23Speaker 3: the records and being vulnerable and then like these introspective
- 32:27Speaker 3: like past to go on to like Okay, we're down,
- 32:31Speaker 3: but then we also coming back up and then like
- 32:33Speaker 3: having like music really like watch him as his process
- 32:37Speaker 3: and him just be like, no, that's good.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Stay there.
- 32:40Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, so I am going the right way.
- 32:42Speaker 3: Instead of being like no, no, that's no, He's like no,
- 32:45Speaker 3: this is fine. But now he's just want to fluff
- 32:47Speaker 3: and add color and all these things to it. So
- 32:50Speaker 3: like I'm I'm blessed with like the cast of people
- 32:52Speaker 3: that I got to work with flat Bush Zombies, like
- 32:55Speaker 3: then meet like being on a record that we have
- 32:57Speaker 3: coming out soon.
- 32:58Speaker 1: We got some great wrestling bars too incredible and.
- 33:01Speaker 3: Meach is just like so far out and he got
- 33:04Speaker 3: me from like our first project when we did body Art.
- 33:09Speaker 1: You know, he was one of our first features ever
- 33:11Speaker 1: that we ever had on a record together. So like.
- 33:15Speaker 3: Connor, shout out him, Shout out Flint, shout out shout
- 33:19Speaker 3: out Clint Michigan, shout out Bumbe for taking Big Pressure
- 33:24Speaker 3: and taking it to the next level. That crazy Houston
- 33:27Speaker 3: co sign, you know, fire Man Prophet, Anthony King, like
- 33:31Speaker 3: all these guys played a part in like truly like
- 33:36Speaker 3: molding me to be something in the industry. I want
- 33:39Speaker 3: to say I made it in the industry, but like
- 33:42Speaker 3: I have a place in it now and I'm still
- 33:44Speaker 3: finding my footing, but now I feel like I can
- 33:47Speaker 3: just go into a studio like hey we got to
- 33:49Speaker 3: beat on.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I can like oh yeah. The thing is, lastly,
- 33:53Speaker 1: the thing I wanted to instill with him is like look, man,
- 33:55Speaker 1: it's just confidence. Is like.
- 33:59Speaker 2: It's like once you once you go in the studio,
- 34:01Speaker 2: Like that's why I kind of threw them in the
- 34:03Speaker 2: gall lit. I said, here's John Connor, here's Mickey faxt
- 34:06Speaker 2: So once you know that, you can go with those
- 34:08Speaker 2: these guys and hold your own and they're like not
- 34:11Speaker 2: turn them.
- 34:11Speaker 1: I think Mickey FAXTX literally might teach a rap course
- 34:14Speaker 1: he does. He does.
- 34:16Speaker 3: He's like one of them one with like that, and
- 34:19Speaker 3: then like getting the advice back from him like Okay,
- 34:22Speaker 3: I didn't do good enough, that's okay.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Once I once I, once I heard the records and
- 34:29Speaker 2: I heard the responses to those records, I was like,
- 34:31Speaker 2: he's he's he'll be fine.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:33Speaker 3: But one thing I like I'll say about like just
- 34:36Speaker 3: not just music, but everything, like any type of like craft.
- 34:40Speaker 3: And nowadays people are are really afraid to hear they
- 34:44Speaker 3: did bad and something right. I feel like people are
- 34:47Speaker 3: scared of that and they run from it, so they
- 34:49Speaker 3: don't even try, or they fail or they're not good
- 34:52Speaker 3: at it, and they hear everybody tell them they're not
- 34:55Speaker 3: good at something and say they just stop. Like people
- 34:58Speaker 3: ask me for advice in wrestling or whatever at conventions
- 35:03Speaker 3: or when I'm signing meeting people, They're like, what's the
- 35:05Speaker 3: biggest advice. I'm like, don't stop. You can slow down,
- 35:09Speaker 3: you can go fast, but you don't stop. You never stop,
- 35:12Speaker 3: because like Terry Taylor once again going back to him
- 35:16Speaker 3: and then performance Center classes, He's like, you know what's
- 35:19Speaker 3: going to happen if you quit, that's a zero percent
- 35:22Speaker 3: chance that you get a zero. But you don't know
- 35:26Speaker 3: what will happen if you keep going. You might get
- 35:28Speaker 3: it too. You might get a ninety, you might get
- 35:30Speaker 3: at fifty. But you know what you'll get if you stop.
- 35:34Speaker 3: If you quit, you said guaranteed zero. So like ever since,
- 35:37Speaker 3: in my mind, I'm like, no, no, I'm a little.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Slow right now. Things are dragging a little bit. I'm
- 35:42Speaker 1: in a rut, but I'm not going to stop.
- 35:45Speaker 3: I'm gonna figure it out and let the sometimes I
- 35:47Speaker 3: let the universe come back to me. And I was like,
- 35:49Speaker 3: because I've exhausted everything I can to it. I've given
- 35:52Speaker 3: out everything. I've made the emails, I made the calls,
- 35:56Speaker 3: I've been over to the I drove it, did the drives.
- 35:58Speaker 3: I've been over here, like I've crafted this, I set
- 36:01Speaker 3: this up, everything signed, everything's here, I've done everything I can. Like,
- 36:06Speaker 3: you know what, I'm gonna sit back and I'm gonna
- 36:08Speaker 3: play my game for like six hours. I'm gonna go
- 36:11Speaker 3: to the gym. I'm not gonna answer my phone. I'm
- 36:13Speaker 3: not gonna make any posts. I'm not gonna tweet something
- 36:16Speaker 3: out of just brain dead necessity or you know, I'm
- 36:20Speaker 3: not gonna add anything more because I've exhausted everything I can.
- 36:24Speaker 3: So I'm just gonna sit and then maybe two weeks
- 36:26Speaker 3: from now that email out of nowhere comes in or
- 36:30Speaker 3: we're going to here we like, hey, we got to
- 36:31Speaker 3: show and come through like boom that dude boom he
- 36:34Speaker 3: shows up there, like oh snap, that's what we was
- 36:37Speaker 3: trying to get to. They just start coming to you naturally.
- 36:40Speaker 3: So that's what music has been doing for us majorly
- 36:44Speaker 3: over the past couple of years. It's like West Side,
- 36:47Speaker 3: Oh for sure, Okay, yeah, Yeah.
- 36:49Speaker 1: You've got his promotion too. That's dope. Shot. Fourth rope man. Yeah,
- 36:53Speaker 1: Zilla's got the belt right now, shout out Zeller Bro.
- 36:55Speaker 1: He's next up too, He's gotta be He's next up.
- 36:58Speaker 1: I'm surprised Tony has an uh you know, because I
- 37:02Speaker 1: think he's been that show. You know, the inevitable. The
- 37:04Speaker 1: inevitable is he's going to pop out, you know, if
- 37:07Speaker 1: they need a new bloodline. Guy time comes in first,
- 37:11Speaker 1: you know.
- 37:12Speaker 3: But like he's been the shows, and like I was
- 37:14Speaker 3: always love It's like like one thing I love about
- 37:17Speaker 3: aw locker room.
- 37:17Speaker 1: It's never like oh you're.
- 37:19Speaker 3: Coming over here, you got the No, it's like, oh,
- 37:21Speaker 3: it was good for sure. Like that's the same thing
- 37:23Speaker 3: with Stephan Cure, like oh, come on, have this match
- 37:25Speaker 3: show out.
- 37:26Speaker 1: Yeah, you get a deal, You get a deal.
- 37:29Speaker 2: Cares is one quick point I want to make, if
- 37:31Speaker 2: I want to say this too publicly, is that I'm
- 37:33Speaker 2: proud of him and what he's doing because he's you know,
- 37:37Speaker 2: I told him, I said, hey man, you know I
- 37:40Speaker 2: want you to take this church the right way and
- 37:43Speaker 2: not only hold the hold the caveat, but also to
- 37:46Speaker 2: like just support him as a brother too, because sometimes
- 37:49Speaker 2: when you're too directly involved in it or too involved
- 37:51Speaker 2: in it, like me as somebody to say quotation found
- 37:54Speaker 2: forever and people say that. But the thing about it
- 37:57Speaker 2: is like, sometimes I could you could be too invested
- 37:59Speaker 2: in it, and it could stunt somebody's growth because your
- 38:02Speaker 2: emotions could be too much intagg Right. So the first
- 38:04Speaker 2: thing that I said, without all of this, even in wrestling,
- 38:07Speaker 2: or when he started incorporating musical and wrestling, I said, bro,
- 38:10Speaker 2: make sure you establish your own identity. I want to
- 38:12Speaker 2: make sure that when it comes to anything that you're
- 38:15Speaker 2: doing that it doesn't always have to have Montez's name
- 38:17Speaker 2: attached to it.
- 38:18Speaker 1: You gotta make your own. You got to do your own.
- 38:20Speaker 1: That's why a lot of people are like, oh, why
- 38:22Speaker 1: was it teasing here or there?
- 38:23Speaker 2: He's fine, he's doing he's doing his thing. You know,
- 38:27Speaker 2: he has to build his own, his own legacy. We
- 38:29Speaker 2: have our legacy together, you know what I mean, with
- 38:31Speaker 2: everything that we've done over these eight years. But it's
- 38:33Speaker 2: also good for him to branch out, to be his
- 38:36Speaker 2: own man, to take these these these leaps and bounds
- 38:39Speaker 2: that he's taking it. So, when I see what's going
- 38:42Speaker 2: on in hip hop and wrestling and what he's doing.
- 38:44Speaker 2: I'm super proud of him, and he's taking it and
- 38:46Speaker 2: handling it the right way because not everybody can do
- 38:48Speaker 2: it without.
- 38:49Speaker 1: It being corny or way is how are you able
- 38:52Speaker 1: to walk the line without it being corny? Right? And
- 38:54Speaker 1: he doesn't do that. So it's such a good job
- 38:57Speaker 1: all the shit you do, because you could be the
- 38:59Speaker 1: corny rapper wrestler guy and it's just over the top
- 39:02Speaker 1: and it doesn't. I just feel like you've done such
- 39:04Speaker 1: a good is a list of at I just like.
- 39:10Speaker 3: It's kind of like just I'm just being myself. I'm
- 39:14Speaker 3: not being what Swerves Strickland is. I'm being who Stephan is.
- 39:18Speaker 3: And I always go back to that core. I never
- 39:21Speaker 3: try to lose myself in either one of these identities.
- 39:24Speaker 3: I find the core first and what feels right and
- 39:28Speaker 3: like and sometimes you get lost in like, oh you
- 39:31Speaker 3: need this type of record, you need a club wrecker,
- 39:32Speaker 3: you need this type of wrect, you need this.
- 39:34Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, but it has to feel.
- 39:36Speaker 3: What I would say for me, who would I be
- 39:39Speaker 3: in that situation? Yeah, I'm like, I don't talk about
- 39:43Speaker 3: like getting shot and I've never been shot. I don't
- 39:46Speaker 3: talk about like you know, like because that's not who
- 39:49Speaker 3: I am. And that's also where he helped guide me,
- 39:51Speaker 3: just like no, you don't have to just say that.
- 39:54Speaker 1: Be yourself yourself, that's what happened. I mean, I feel
- 39:56Speaker 1: like that's I mean, obviously we know a lot of
- 39:58Speaker 1: artists of pop not being themselves, but like now, more
- 40:01Speaker 1: than ever, the more trans like like the Internet makes
- 40:03Speaker 1: everything so transparent that the artist, like fans know.
- 40:06Speaker 3: What's your what's your view on that? I was like,
- 40:09Speaker 3: what you want to hear or hear?
- 40:10Speaker 1: I want to hear people be themselves like if I like.
- 40:14Speaker 1: That's kind of the thing with Drake that I never
- 40:17Speaker 1: really like, Like, Drake's talented, he makes great music. Obviously
- 40:22Speaker 1: you know he's Drake, But I never was like a
- 40:25Speaker 1: Drake head because I felt like once when he first
- 40:29Speaker 1: came out, I felt like he was being himself when
- 40:30Speaker 1: he was doing this like like so far gone to
- 40:32Speaker 1: me was like Drake being himself. I felt like there
- 40:35Speaker 1: just became this thing where he became like a like
- 40:39Speaker 1: a tough guy kind of and I'm like, well listen,
- 40:40Speaker 1: ain't why fuck with you? Bro? Like you know what
- 40:42Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like That's why I liked Kanye. Kanye was
- 40:44Speaker 1: someone working out the gap and fucking was wearing polo
- 40:47Speaker 1: and ship and like, no one else is doing this,
- 40:50Speaker 1: So I like to feel like, you know, if I'm
- 40:53Speaker 1: listening to you, even if I'm listening to some like
- 40:56Speaker 1: clips or Push a Tear or some shit like and there.
- 40:59Speaker 1: I mean, I know, push It. He hasn't sold cocaine
- 41:01Speaker 1: for some time, but like, I know he did, so
- 41:04Speaker 1: it makes the music great, like and I love push like,
- 41:07Speaker 1: but yeah, I think I think as an artist, like
- 41:09Speaker 1: you always should just be yourself because then you really
- 41:13Speaker 1: you can't nobody can call you out if you're if
- 41:15Speaker 1: you're in hip hop and you're just doing you, nobody
- 41:17Speaker 1: can use like that at the end of the day.
- 41:19Speaker 3: I think, like when you put the mask on and
- 41:21Speaker 3: you wear it for so long, it dies out quickly. Yes, yeah,
- 41:24Speaker 3: Like that's why you see the three year runs, the
- 41:26Speaker 3: four year runs, the two.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Years as Like. I think there was that twenty sixteen
- 41:30Speaker 1: seventeen eighteen like SoundCloud run where a lot of artists
- 41:33Speaker 1: cracked off antics and like social media bullshit. That was
- 41:36Speaker 1: a scary time, super scary that was actually really scary
- 41:39Speaker 1: and it was just a lot of bullshit music and
- 41:41Speaker 1: people were getting signed just based off of their Instagram followings.
- 41:43Speaker 1: Like dude, that Supreme Patty Kid got a record deal.
- 41:47Speaker 1: I don't know who that is. That's the kid who
- 41:49Speaker 1: used to wear the Supreme headband. He used to score
- 41:51Speaker 1: lemons in his eyes. Not a clue. He got a
- 41:54Speaker 1: record deal. It's insane. How long does it last? No,
- 41:57Speaker 1: he didn't. I don't think you put it. I think
- 41:58Speaker 1: he maybe put out two songs in there, like straight
- 42:00Speaker 1: to the World Star. But that's like, you know, that's
- 42:01Speaker 1: the era of music that birth like fucking six' nine
- 42:04Speaker 1: and all that Boy, yeah you know Smoke purpose and, yeah,
- 42:07Speaker 1: yeah and it's like The Smoke purp shit was, like you,
- 42:09Speaker 1: know nice, guy but like And Little, Pump it's, like,
- 42:12Speaker 1: yeah what happened A Little? Pump he had a two
- 42:14Speaker 1: year run where he was Hottest fish grease and then you,
- 42:17Speaker 1: know now he's doing OnlyFans nineteen eighty. Five i've. Arrived,
- 42:20Speaker 1: Yes jacob called the whole. Era saw it.
- 42:25Speaker 2: And you, see like a lot of when a lot
- 42:27Speaker 2: of artists get, bigger to the point if they don't
- 42:29Speaker 2: keep that sense of grounded around them or within, them they.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Start to lose touch of.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Reality that's why a lot of people go back to
- 42:36Speaker 2: a lot of guys' first albums because that was their most.
- 42:39Speaker 2: Authentic right, now they're an album number, seven, eight, ten
- 42:42Speaker 2: year in their career and you, Start i'm kind of.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Yeah i'm thirty two. NOW i think that's what's great
- 42:48Speaker 1: About LIKE i Think cole's done a good job of
- 42:50Speaker 1: like Like cole's just such a normal. Guy it just
- 42:54Speaker 1: happens to. Rap so it's, like no matter, what if
- 42:56Speaker 1: you're listening To, coal he's never given you anything that
- 42:59Speaker 1: is like his true, self you.
- 43:01Speaker 3: Know to, ME i always that's WHY i always related
- 43:04Speaker 3: to like A tyler. Creator for me, PERSONALLY i always
- 43:06Speaker 3: felt like our career paths are very like parallel because
- 43:11Speaker 3: like WHEN i came on the, SCENE.
- 43:12Speaker 1: I was like.
- 43:12Speaker 3: Nineteen he came on, nineteen and it was just like
- 43:16Speaker 3: radical making some really saying some a lot of wild
- 43:19Speaker 3: shit into an audience that doesn't necessarily like lend itself
- 43:23Speaker 3: to hip hop and culture very, well skater like mosh,
- 43:28Speaker 3: pit like a lot of like gratuitous. Stuff and for,
- 43:31Speaker 3: ME i was LIKE i was like just finding. Myself
- 43:34Speaker 3: it was, like, yeah he was rapping about some wild,
- 43:36Speaker 3: shit wild, shit but he also had a lot of,
- 43:38Speaker 3: competition Like Big shaw was hot at the. Time he
- 43:42Speaker 3: said like that whole Like drake came on, air Like
- 43:45Speaker 3: kendrick started coming, up so all these like also like
- 43:49Speaker 3: that's when DOUBLE xl started like really putting out the.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Freshman so all those never and, yeah he never was
- 43:54Speaker 1: a friend.
- 43:54Speaker 3: Ever he was never even played ON bt for like ten. Years,
- 43:58Speaker 3: sure so he was always not. Accepted and that's HOW
- 44:01Speaker 3: i felt in wrestling for like a long. TIME i
- 44:03Speaker 3: wasn't accepted as like one of the best black wrestlers
- 44:05Speaker 3: or that that audience and. STUFF i kind of, like
- 44:10Speaker 3: just stay true to myself.
- 44:11Speaker 1: And started just.
- 44:12Speaker 3: Growing i'd rather start down at the beginning and then
- 44:15Speaker 3: just do nothing but. This and that's What tyler. DID
- 44:17Speaker 3: i feel like he really didn't start really start taking
- 44:20Speaker 3: off UNTIL i would say Flower.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Boy but, yeah Flower boy was the first. ALBUM i
- 44:26Speaker 1: think that like it was, like, OH i THINK i
- 44:29Speaker 1: think he got a lot OF i think he always
- 44:31Speaker 1: had a huge fan base and he always Had i'm
- 44:32Speaker 1: A wolf. FAN i Loved wolf And goblin And. BASTARD
- 44:35Speaker 1: i love those. Projects BUT i think you're right for
- 44:37Speaker 1: Flower boy was the first. ALBUM i feel like we're
- 44:40Speaker 1: like people who were like BECAUSE i knew a lot
- 44:42Speaker 1: of people in the industry who were just turned off By,
- 44:44Speaker 1: tyler And i'm, like this was, Brilliant LIKE i said the,
- 44:47Speaker 1: same BUT i feel like Flower boy. Was and Then
- 44:50Speaker 1: igor was such a critically acclaimed that's where that's that's
- 44:53Speaker 1: where it just. Become it became pop culture as opposed
- 44:57Speaker 1: to sub pop.
- 44:57Speaker 3: Culture, yeah AND i feel like that's WHERE i was.
- 44:59Speaker 3: Around like my Flower boy era Was Luke underground and
- 45:03Speaker 3: it was like.
- 45:05Speaker 1: That was the hell Of war.
- 45:08Speaker 3: Match but like even people talk about that match with
- 45:11Speaker 3: me And, fox it was the match with me And
- 45:15Speaker 3: marty The, moth The weapons Of Mass destruction match that
- 45:19Speaker 3: really popped crazy and that put me on the map
- 45:21Speaker 3: because it was like two guys that were just, like,
- 45:23Speaker 3: oh there are some cool characters on the, show but
- 45:26Speaker 3: they're not. Anybody and then just like, Boom it's, like,
- 45:28Speaker 3: whoa we didn't know, that we didn't. Know now we
- 45:31Speaker 3: want to see more from these. Guys and Then marty
- 45:33Speaker 3: ended up going to like season, four winning The World,
- 45:35Speaker 3: championship the top title on the, show AND i went
- 45:38Speaker 3: to The trios and, stuff but people wanted to see
- 45:41Speaker 3: more from. That and THEN, nxt, well ACTUALLY i would
- 45:45Speaker 3: they evolve and. STUFF i started Beating. RIDDLE i started
- 45:47Speaker 3: beating like, like start winning all these, Titles Davey. RICHARDS
- 45:50Speaker 3: i started winning all these like these big indie world,
- 45:54Speaker 3: championships AND i started getting in the ring With kenny
- 45:56Speaker 3: and The bucks right and, overseas AND i started like
- 45:59Speaker 3: really worse the best in the. World and then N
- 46:03Speaker 3: xt came and then that's where that's kind of my igor.
- 46:07Speaker 3: Moment and then ONCE i came to A w that
- 46:12Speaker 3: was my call me if you get lost moment right
- 46:14Speaker 3: Now i'm at, now right Where i'm, At i'm At
- 46:17Speaker 3: Chroma Copia. Stag and that's WHY i felt LIKE i
- 46:20Speaker 3: had to Wear Chroma copia WHEN i came out at
- 46:22Speaker 3: full gear because that album came out like maybe a
- 46:24Speaker 3: two great.
- 46:25Speaker 1: Albums love. It it's such a great.
- 46:27Speaker 3: Album that album came out two weeks. BEFOREHAND i was,
- 46:30Speaker 3: LIKE i was, like what AM i going to? Wear
- 46:31Speaker 3: what's my coming out stage at this point in my.
- 46:34Speaker 3: Career and then he came out with that, album dropped
- 46:36Speaker 3: the the The Saint chroma like teaser. TRAILER i was
- 46:41Speaker 3: like that's. It that's Where i'm. At SO i Credit
- 46:45Speaker 3: tyler his album and Like Story, JOURNEY i feel like
- 46:49Speaker 3: we're very parallel with one another in that.
- 46:52Speaker 1: Sense i'd like to see him at a wrestling. Shows
- 46:56Speaker 1: wrestling is catered to everything he, is, SURE i don't
- 46:59Speaker 1: think he's in it at, all by the, way probably.
- 47:01Speaker 1: NOT i THINK i think he would have to go
- 47:02Speaker 1: and be, like, Oh i've been missing out on. This
- 47:06Speaker 1: you gotta do it at the, Time like what the
- 47:08Speaker 1: fuck is? This why NONE i ever go to a?
- 47:10Speaker 1: Show oh my? God this is like SO i can
- 47:12Speaker 1: see him like tripping on the front, road just like
- 47:15Speaker 1: what the? Fuck LIKE i.
- 47:16Speaker 3: CALL i called him out on a couple of interviews
- 47:19Speaker 3: and then like tagged him on a bunch of like
- 47:21Speaker 3: WHEN i wore The chromocopia gear for the, Entrance LIKE
- 47:24Speaker 3: i feel.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Like drake had that, moment you, know Where drake was
- 47:26Speaker 1: like what HAVE i been? Missing, Yeah i'm so kind of.
- 47:28Speaker 1: Interesting they didn't show him ON. TV i think he
- 47:30Speaker 1: didn't want to OR xo is pretty tied in with
- 47:34Speaker 1: the wie with the other, company and, uh you know
- 47:39Speaker 1: it was In toronto and The weekend has had the
- 47:44Speaker 1: song for like five years political movements, there And travis

- 48:06Speaker 3: HIM i don't know if you saw like this thing,
- 48:08Speaker 3: online the YouTube, thing there's a million thought pieces on
- 48:12Speaker 3: one so, much there's so many thought. Pieces i'm like
- 48:14Speaker 3: the tree and yeah there's one that's like a it's
- 48:18Speaker 3: like a three hour jiant and it's so. Good and
- 48:20Speaker 3: it's like like they used the, culture used him just
- 48:24Speaker 3: as much as he used the. Culture because THEN i was,
- 48:27Speaker 3: like uh, yeah like all, right, cool, yeah.
- 48:30Speaker 1: Yeah it's. GREAT i don't want to talk too much about,
- 48:32Speaker 1: it just Like i'm just happy that The euphoria was
- 48:34Speaker 1: performed at the Super bowl because that's my favorite song
- 48:36Speaker 1: and the whole. BEEF i don't think that one fit.
- 48:39Speaker 1: THOUGH i didn't EVEN i didn't give. IT i was
- 48:41Speaker 1: just LIKE i got It. Euphouria, yo when you do
- 48:47Speaker 1: something like the gritty with the with the, shovel is
- 48:50Speaker 1: that something you know you're hitting or is that Like
- 48:52Speaker 1: i'm gonna. Fly you'll be surprised how MUCH i make
- 48:54Speaker 1: up in the ring on the. Fly And i'll just do.
- 48:57Speaker 1: IT i.
- 48:58Speaker 3: WILL i will change the trajectory of what like what's
- 49:02Speaker 3: supposed to. Happen AND i was just, like let me
- 49:04Speaker 3: just cut, here let me go like it's another LIKE
- 49:07Speaker 3: gps and on a on a car.
- 49:08Speaker 1: Ride we know we got to go To. Florida we'll get.
- 49:11Speaker 1: There let's stop, Off let's get someone to stop here
- 49:13Speaker 1: at the. Target it's, like let's just go over. HERE

- 49:18Speaker 3: Wendy's let's stop. In BUT i will eventually get us
- 49:21Speaker 3: back on ninety five and going.
- 49:22Speaker 2: Down and that's HOW i knew he could do, music
- 49:24Speaker 2: because if he could freestyle like, THAT i can't by he.
- 49:27Speaker 1: Can he can come up with, concepts you know WHAT i?
- 49:30Speaker 1: Mean and. MUSIC i knew.
- 49:32Speaker 2: It you know WHAT i mean was if you can
- 49:34Speaker 2: do that and like everything you say you might, do
- 49:36Speaker 2: you just kind of do a three sixty for like
- 49:39Speaker 2: five minutes and then get back to where you. Go
- 49:40Speaker 2: that's a talent, man and make it entertaining for, sure
- 49:43Speaker 2: and like physical, combat that's.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Different.
- 49:45Speaker 3: Man that's also how you find yourself playing arounds what
- 49:48Speaker 3: we used to do as. Kids for, sure you played
- 49:51Speaker 3: around with your friends and your. Brother you slammed. Them
- 49:53Speaker 3: you just went in the backyard and you just you
- 49:54Speaker 3: didn't come up with a. Plan you just went around
- 49:57Speaker 3: and climbed the, tree jumped in the, sandbox buried, this
- 50:00Speaker 3: found it two weeks. Later did this you like he
- 50:03Speaker 3: came up with. Sticks we're going to sword fight. Now
- 50:05Speaker 3: now we're gonna hide and. Seek now we're going to
- 50:06Speaker 3: play hide and zeke like freeze. Tag now we're gonna
- 50:09Speaker 3: do this like you just. Played and that's where you
- 50:13Speaker 3: find out who you. Were you found out who that
- 50:15Speaker 3: one friend is at, Cheats you found out that one
- 50:16Speaker 3: friend that always does this but he's always too. Rough
- 50:19Speaker 3: you found out like you found out your personalities as,
- 50:21Speaker 3: kids and that's what you end up. Becoming and, yes
- 50:24Speaker 3: that's what kind of, like either that's the glue or
- 50:26Speaker 3: that's what separated. Everybody you, knew you knew who's going
- 50:29Speaker 3: to stick around for a little, while but you also
- 50:31Speaker 3: knew who was like, okay they're over. There that's what
- 50:33Speaker 3: we do in. Wrestling you know who's, Like, okay these
- 50:36Speaker 3: guys are going to stick. Together that's that's when you
- 50:38Speaker 3: make the. Clicks that's where you make D. X that's
- 50:41Speaker 3: where you Make New. Day you found the guys that played, around.
- 50:44Speaker 1: They're, like oh, yeah, yeah that's.
- 50:45Speaker 3: Cool but that's also where you find out who's like
- 50:48Speaker 3: also the op that's where you find the seth rollins
- 50:51Speaker 3: in the the. Shield that's also where you find like
- 50:55Speaker 3: Like jericho with The jericho appreciation in society and the inner,
- 51:01Speaker 3: circle who's going to split off and go these ways
- 51:04Speaker 3: and stuff like?
- 51:04Speaker 1: That you have you done his cruise by the way?
- 51:07Speaker 1: Twice how is? That? Oh good? Time, money good? Time
- 51:11Speaker 1: he was with? Me we performed? Money what are? They? Are?
- 51:14Speaker 1: There are there women who? BOOK i just think. ABOUT
- 51:21Speaker 1: i just think about like a boat full of wrestling,
- 51:23Speaker 1: fans which it is so it's like, cool but it's
- 51:27Speaker 1: like is it? Cool you know What i'm? Saying, like
- 51:29Speaker 1: are there any itches on the? Boat you know What i'm,
- 51:32Speaker 1: Saying like that are? There like wrestling with the ratio is,
- 51:35Speaker 1: small it's got to be, great but they. Are But
- 51:38Speaker 1: i'm saying and to, me it's like any women that are,
- 51:40Speaker 1: THERE i would assume are they with their guys some
- 51:44Speaker 1: you would think some of there for.
- 51:45Speaker 2: Purposes and let's let's Say i'll say this that if
- 51:49Speaker 2: there are women of a quiet taste that you would like,
- 51:53Speaker 2: you they're THEY'RE i don't like.
- 51:54Speaker 1: WOMEN i just like. One they are they're being. Occupied
- 51:59Speaker 1: somebody already spotted on. Them that's. Right, yeah but it
- 52:03Speaker 1: looks like it's be fucking, fun like to take a
- 52:05Speaker 1: kid on or. Something, yeah, kids a family. Shit this family.
- 52:09Speaker 3: Shit there's adult, shit like different floors for. It there's
- 52:12Speaker 3: like fifteen.
- 52:13Speaker 1: Floors that's.
- 52:14Speaker 3: Crazy, yeah so's it's endless. Entertainment there's always something to
- 52:18Speaker 3: do that you can't, like you should not be in
- 52:20Speaker 3: your room unless you're.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Sleeping that's. It they say that you are one of
- 52:24Speaker 1: the wrestlers that will bring the best out of anybody
- 52:27Speaker 1: you work. With is that something you're proud.
- 52:30Speaker 3: Of, yes that's Something i've been doing for over ten
- 52:32Speaker 3: years AND i feel like. That like a lot of
- 52:35Speaker 3: people don't Like Will, osprey his gift is the five star.
- 52:39Speaker 3: Match he's a five star match. Machine kenny is the
- 52:41Speaker 3: best a bount. Machine, LIKE i feel like that's my
- 52:43Speaker 3: gift in this, generation this, era like, like but a
- 52:47Speaker 3: lot of those, guys that's kind of what separated me from.
- 52:51Speaker 3: Them like they're all great in their own, senses which is,
- 52:54Speaker 3: Amazing and that's always super hard to find what makes
- 52:58Speaker 3: you great in this era because every body's.
- 53:00Speaker 1: Talented for.
- 53:00Speaker 3: Sure everybody can go you, know LIKE mjf is the,
- 53:04Speaker 3: microphone you, know that's his. Gift Like hangman is the
- 53:09Speaker 3: the just the defiant babyface and the best, storyteller that's his.
- 53:12Speaker 3: Gift you, know my gift is to find what's inside
- 53:16Speaker 3: of you and truly like grasp onto. That And i'm,
- 53:19Speaker 3: LIKE i know exactly what to do with, this AND
- 53:21Speaker 3: i know exactly where to place, it and THEN i
- 53:23Speaker 3: know when it's time to use it that you didn't even.
- 53:26Speaker 3: Know and THEN i bring it out and THEN i use.
- 53:29Speaker 3: IT i use, IT i use it to EVENTUALLY i
- 53:32Speaker 3: stop using. It and now you're using. It i'm not
- 53:34Speaker 3: even doing anything. Anymore you're just. On you found who you,
- 53:38Speaker 3: are and now you're just. Gravitating Like hangman's now we
- 53:40Speaker 3: haven't touched Since. September now he's just. Gone he's just
- 53:45Speaker 3: doing his. Thing and now it's transpositioning and transferring over
- 53:48Speaker 3: to other talents throughout these next. MONTHS i feel like
- 53:53Speaker 3: that's my gift and that's What. Tony that's Why tony
- 53:55Speaker 3: found the value in, me because like HE'S i DON'T
- 53:58Speaker 3: i don't just do for. MYSELF i do for. EVERYTHING
- 54:02Speaker 3: i need. This LIKE i said WHEN i, said.
- 54:04Speaker 1: Uh, damn you're The undertaker of the, Company i'll take. That,
- 54:08Speaker 1: Yeah i'll take.
- 54:08Speaker 3: That like wherever they put you in, with it's like
- 54:12Speaker 3: it's going to. Go and it's also whoever you put
- 54:14Speaker 3: me with. It it doesn't have to have title. Implications
- 54:16Speaker 3: it doesn't. Matter it has to be about WHO i say.
- 54:19Speaker 3: Ship it's like going, crazy it's who.
- 54:21Speaker 1: AM i and who are?
- 54:21Speaker 3: You you don't get with me unless you know who
- 54:23Speaker 3: you are and that's the beauty of.
- 54:25Speaker 2: That and surely not one of them ones in, wrestling
- 54:28Speaker 2: unless you could be the guy without having to have
- 54:31Speaker 2: the belt you don't.
- 54:31Speaker 1: NEED i mean think about Like, Punk like right, now
- 54:35Speaker 1: it's Like punk Still. Punk it doesn't matter if he's
- 54:37Speaker 1: got the belt or. NOT i felt Like taker was
- 54:39Speaker 1: like always that. Guy it never was about whether he
- 54:43Speaker 1: had the. Belt At, mania it was like it's wrestleman
- 54:46Speaker 1: who was facing, him who gets the opportunity to face it.
- 54:49Speaker 1: Exactly it was like its own, title like its own.
- 54:51Speaker 1: Opportunity we'd be, like oh, ship, yeah absolutely Great. Wyatt.
- 54:54Speaker 3: YEAH i felt like that's WHERE i found who what
- 54:56Speaker 3: my value, was because now you can like for the
- 54:59Speaker 3: next five years however Long i'm signed here with A
- 55:01Speaker 3: W it's, like, man there's so much more That, like
- 55:05Speaker 3: there's so much other roster members that, could like we
- 55:08Speaker 3: haven't really seen be brought. OUT i could probably be
- 55:12Speaker 3: the one to do. That but it's also you got
- 55:14Speaker 3: to work to get to. Me you got to work
- 55:16Speaker 3: to get to that, point AND i need To and
- 55:20Speaker 3: that's Why i'm very shelld away in certain ways on
- 55:23Speaker 3: the roster because when you're a sweer of this that
- 55:27Speaker 3: you it means something for, sure you know WHAT i,
- 55:29Speaker 3: Mean AND i.
- 55:30Speaker 1: Want that and it's going to be a. Thing it's
- 55:32Speaker 1: not going to be, like, yeah you And ricochet obviously
- 55:35Speaker 1: are going at It. Sunday you guys have similar, UH
- 55:40Speaker 1: i would, say kind of trajectories with the old company
- 55:42Speaker 1: in terms of probably you, know fans might, say what
- 55:45Speaker 1: it was. Underutilized you were obviously under. Utilized he HAD
- 55:47Speaker 1: i didn't even get a chance at least he had a,
- 55:49Speaker 1: chance right at least he was like he had he
- 55:51Speaker 1: had THE i forgot what the belt was called.
- 55:55Speaker 3: The United, states he had a moment with The purple
- 55:56Speaker 3: belt that he had never. HAD i thought he had
- 55:59Speaker 3: The Whore's Your, race but he had a speed. Title
- 56:02Speaker 3: the speed title is What i'm thinking.
- 56:03Speaker 1: Of, yeah but how cool has it been to just
- 56:08Speaker 1: work with? Him because he is a sick ass, Talent, like,
- 56:12Speaker 1: yeah he's got a fucking deep.
- 56:14Speaker 3: Bag AND i don't think people really really understand how
- 56:16Speaker 3: important he was to wrestling in our, generation like the
- 56:21Speaker 3: how serious and how big of an impact he had
- 56:25Speaker 3: in twenty ten and twenty eleven over In Dragon gate In,
- 56:27Speaker 3: japan him And poc were changing the business because we
- 56:31Speaker 3: thought the athleticism couldn't reach a certain height. Anymore after
- 56:35Speaker 3: we've Seen raymonsterio do what he did IN wcw two
- 56:39Speaker 3: early two, thousands then we. Didn't we didn't think there
- 56:42Speaker 3: was any where you can go higher Than Matt sidel
- 56:47Speaker 3: Shooting Star, press even though we were Seeing Billy kimmen do,
- 56:50Speaker 3: it you, know and certain guys like. That but the,
- 56:54Speaker 3: athleticism just Like ring Of honor And Dragon gate and
- 56:58Speaker 3: stuff like that when they were doing those, things those labs,
- 57:00Speaker 3: together you go over To, japan you're seeing like this
- 57:04Speaker 3: twenty three year old kid do a double moon salt
- 57:07Speaker 3: off the top. Rope and before that on The, indies
- 57:09Speaker 3: he was doing on Like Little Iwa Mid south shows
- 57:12Speaker 3: in the middle of Like, Louisville kentucky off a ladder
- 57:14Speaker 3: to the outside of people double moon, salt and then
- 57:18Speaker 3: like he go to the park and everything they changed
- 57:20Speaker 3: wrestling six. Thirties they're just popping off springboards like a
- 57:23Speaker 3: Dragon kid And yeshino And.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Masato it was just so.
- 57:28Speaker 3: Much it was LIKE i never seen anything like, that
- 57:30Speaker 3: and he just went like globally viral and then taking
- 57:34Speaker 3: that to THE us WITH pwg and doing all the
- 57:37Speaker 3: stuff that he was. Doing then bringing The osprey comes
- 57:40Speaker 3: in from THE, uk they, merge and then they do
- 57:42Speaker 3: what they did in twenty seventeen with the best of
- 57:45Speaker 3: the super juniors when they do the infamous you, Know
- 57:49Speaker 3: International Super international Super junior. Spot it was just, like man,
- 57:56Speaker 3: like that's how big he was and he still is
- 57:58Speaker 3: to this.
- 57:59Speaker 1: Day. Now is like through all those.
- 58:01Speaker 3: Times if you're a fan watching and following his career since,
- 58:04Speaker 3: then you never understood who he was and what he was.
- 58:07Speaker 3: About never understood the identity about.
- 58:10Speaker 1: That that's. Facts, yeah you just be like he's a great,
- 58:13Speaker 1: wrestler but why DO i? Care?
- 58:14Speaker 3: Yeah or you just seen the? CLIP i was, like
- 58:17Speaker 3: who was?
- 58:17Speaker 1: That? Right do you? Like?
- 58:19Speaker 3: Yo that's the guy who hit The Paul and that's
- 58:23Speaker 3: THE i always wanted to, Like, OKAY i got to take.
- 58:25Speaker 3: Away that's the GUY i want you to be, like
- 58:28Speaker 3: That's ricochet doing. That that's how you become a.
- 58:31Speaker 1: NAME i almost feel like that is more important than
- 58:36Speaker 1: the business. Is if you can make people care about,
- 58:39Speaker 1: you the wrestling could just be okay as long as People,
- 58:43Speaker 1: yeah but this is a w we still have to,
- 58:47Speaker 1: perform you. GUYS i would say A w is Like
- 58:50Speaker 1: Kendrick lamar AND ww is like. Drink like you, Know
- 58:53Speaker 1: i've always said that you have to RAP. Td you.
- 58:58Speaker 1: Can't Just adrian from made that great. REFERENCE i was,
- 59:01Speaker 1: like on the wrestling, front for.

- 59:08Speaker 3: get the big box office movies and all that stuff over,

- 59:21Speaker 3: Four the performances and acting has to be.
- 59:23Speaker 1: Perceived is like the wire AND ww is like fucking you,
- 59:27Speaker 1: Know Chicago. FIRE i won't even know in, order but,
- 59:32Speaker 1: like but you can enjoy both. THAT i see, THAT

- 59:36Speaker 1: can enjoy it.
- 59:37Speaker 3: Both you can enjoy both for sure and like and
- 59:39Speaker 3: both are. Successful that's the beauty of. It it's, like
- 59:42Speaker 3: it's just like and So rickychet's probably in my, opinion
- 59:47Speaker 3: going to find more success with A w because his
- 59:53Speaker 3: talents are going to be utilized and he's going to be.
- 59:54Speaker 1: Heard he's going to be.
- 59:56Speaker 3: HEARD i feel, like once you find your voice and
- 59:58Speaker 3: your you are. Heard we know how to tapp into
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: an emotion and people know how to feel about what you're. Saying,
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: now every time he comes out instant, boo we, Know
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: oh that's Ricochet god damn, it he's coming. Out oh
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: somebody come out and beat This. Ricochets so now we
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: know his. Name now you can do all the athleticism
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: if you want, to if you choose. To but you
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: have it and everybody knows actually he doesn't. Suck we hate,
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: him but he doesn't, suck, right you know WHAT i.
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: Mean it's kurd angle. Effect we hate, him but we
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: know he can beat your.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: ASS i feel like that happened With jacob, recently where
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: you're just, like, oh we're supposed to hate this, guy
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: But Jesus, christ he's so. Good he's so. Good he's so,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: good he has always been, good so, massive but he's just.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Flying it's just he's so, good he's so, good and
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: he has a great body. Control somebody Like penta who
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: you've worked, with, right, yeah how cool has it? Been
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: obviously he's that always been that, dude but it's been
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: like like he's he's obviously on a bigger platform now
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: AND i feel like they're, like how, cool just as
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: somebody who's worked with him two different. Companies did you
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: work with him At Lucia? Underground, yes he was my
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: first match actually it was a. Trios you, know he
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: very well could be you, KNOW i think obviously there's
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: like a conscious effort to kind of like him be
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: the Next. MYSTERIO i hope.
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: So, well you can't say, that but what you can't
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: say he's going to be the Next mysterio because there
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: will never be another and there will never Be and
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: that's that's that's the difference right. There it's a, product
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: and so they're trying to copy another. Product you can't do.
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: It you can't do. It you can't make Another. Sena
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: you can't make Another, dwayne you can't make Another ray.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Maisterio he sure did try to make Another. Goldberg shout
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: out to right. Back you can't do.
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: It you can't do. It and we've seen it many.
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: Times you cannot make another what that?
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: Is but how cool has? It but just been to
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: see him get this like like, THIS i.
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: Mean i'm happy for him And i'm proud of. HIM
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: i want to see where it. GOES i want to
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: See penta Have penta's, lane and that's where the marketing
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: is On penta Being penta in this and also shedding
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: back and seeing like Who penta, is What penta, is
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: what's the, motive what is the? Meaning what does he
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: want to? Do what is his and how is he
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: going to do? It that's what separates all these characters
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: from being. Characters you, Know Steve austin wonned The World.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: Championship well so does he so, does he so. Does
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: like this everybody everybody, want Like Mick foley wants, It
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: but how are they going to do it compared To
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: austin doing. It austin is going to drive a truck
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: beer like he's, like you, know some some of the
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: guys in that era weren't going to Hit. Vince that's
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: just not who their character. Is austin has no problem
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: Stunning vince or women Or grandma's Bob Ba ray will
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: put somebody through a, woman a grown, woman an old
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: woman through a, table you. Know but there's certain characters that,
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: wouldn't like you know WHAT i, mean that's what separates.
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: Them Jeff hardy's not going to do, that right because
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: that's Makes Jeff Hardy Jeff. Hardy that's the motive, why,
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: guys who's going to push the? Boundaries that's what made
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: me me, LIKE i will go in your house now
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: AND i Made hangman because he will burn it down for.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: Sure there's other characters that won't go that. FAR i know, You,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: uh working With Adam copeland's a big deal for. You,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: obviously he's one of the greatest of all. Time, absolutely
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: there's a good chance you guys end up having a thing.
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: This weekend decides decides a, lot, right and that's what
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: that's the point of. This like there's two matches one doesn't.
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: Want one depends on another correct and the other depends
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: on the.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: Other that's the. Stakes but just the potential or the
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: of just putting your brain in a situation where you
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: guys have a thing, going, like it's got to be
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: pretty cool to think.
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: About it's it's it's, Wild like nine year old me
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: is like you're up in that ranks of like possibly
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: challenging guys that you looked up. To the REASON i
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: wear long, jackets it's because Of copeland and, stuff and it's, like,
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: man you could face them for The World, championship like
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: in the next. Month the implications are there. Now it's
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: like it's not far fetched. Anymore just like it is
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: that same FEELING i had WHEN i Wrestled Raymond stereo
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: and the Six. Man it's, like whoa wait a, minute
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: let me take a step. Back i'm actually like taking
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: the six one. Nine i'm actually like like Basing irana
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: from The Greatest ever do, this and like it's.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Almost like you're in, it so you don't you DON'T
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: i always tell people, this, like, yeah whatever level of
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: success you, reach sometimes you got to stop and like
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: like oh.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: SHIT i always have made this metaphor Like i'm. Chopping
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: i've been chopping trees for fifteen sixteen, years and like
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: WHEN i first, started it was, like there's a, Forest
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: there's no WAY i can get through any of this
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: right until you start chopping. Yep and Now i'm, like,
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: WOW i look, Back i'm like there's miles of trees
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: THAT i, chopped and of like forces That i've gotten.
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: Through and SOMETIMES i need to stop and just like
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: and and and let me, yeah let me, yeah let me.
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: Enjoy LIKE i might be done chopping.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: TREES i might be like a fourth of it. Left,
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: ye there might be.
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: MORE i don't, know But i'm going to like there's
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: TIMES i got to sit back and Realize i'm, like,
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: Yo i'm more than. Halfway i've like three fourths of
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: it probably at this point of doing What i've set

- 1:10:13Speaker 1: Views like writing a theme song like how do you pull?
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: For like are you? Like because it's obviously that's a
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: that could. CHANGE i, mean there's so many theme songs
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: that we could think of where it's.
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: Right that's why it's important for rustlers to have personality for.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: Sure, Absolutely and the thing Is i've been doing it
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: eleven Years Now i've been making theme songs for eleven,

- 1:10:40Speaker 2: SEE i had a formula years ago before it became very,
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: popular you. Know so NOW i have a format of
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: popular way that many people do, IT i kind of
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: go the other, way, right you. KNOW i always believe
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: that you have to make the song something that. Universally anybody.
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: Here IF i gave you a, record a wrestling, record
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: AND i gave it cav played us in the club wrestling,

- 1:12:03Speaker 2: was like IF i sended you a record AND i, said,
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: HEY keV played this record and you'd be like a wrestling,
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: record BUT i. Didn't you don't want to make it
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: sound like a wrestling. Record you want to make it
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: sound something that is, universal even if it's something for a.
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: Wrestler you want to make something that's that's. Universal i'm.

- 1:12:22Speaker 1: IT i think the key is to a good wrestling theme.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Song it's figuring out the part where the crowd either
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: sings it to the top of their lungs or reacts
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: in a way, yep LIKE i think of Like cody
