- 0:18Hello and welcome everyone to the Diz pod.
- 0:21I have been so excited about this for like a week.
- 0:24I just. I almost felt like I was on this
- 0:27trip with Lawrence in spirit because we talked way more than
- 0:31I thought we would and I appreciate that.
- 0:33I tried to leave him alone to respect his vacationing time but
- 0:37I loved when he would text me. So loving it.
- 0:40Can't wait to hear all the details.
- 0:42We purposely didn't even talk about this so that it could all
- 0:45be fresh and new from me as well.
- 0:49And we have a surprise guest, which makes me excited because
- 0:52he's he's pretty popular in our family.
- 0:55We were a big fan. We're a big fan, you know, so
- 0:59got a special guest coming on to today.
- 1:03We do this live because we do it for all of you.
- 1:06And if you want to watch and listen other than this live
- 1:10broadcast on the Dizpod channel that sits all on its own, you
- 1:13can check us out back on this channel anytime you want as it
- 1:18lives there forever. As well as the YouTube Music
- 1:20app. You can also do that too, which
- 1:22is kind of neat. And you can also go to those
- 1:25other platforms, Amazon, Apple, iHeartRadio and I, I, I always
- 1:33try to remember all of these. There's so many of them.
- 1:36I'm missing 1. Spotify.
- 1:38Spotify, thank you Spotify I should just write them down so
- 1:41they're in front of me every week and I should probably just
- 1:45do that or just know them by now, but welcome everyone once
- 1:48again. We do this live because we do it
- 1:50for you. We see the chat rolling there,
- 1:52even though we may not be as interactive with you as I am in
- 1:57the parks. It's because we're recording a
- 1:59live podcast. But we will call on you now and
- 2:02then. And Lawrence will be so kind to
- 2:04throw up some great quotes and things like that from all of you
- 2:08as we go along. So welcome.
- 2:11Tammy's always my hero, but I will say she she was a real hero
- 2:17this afternoon. So the new iPhone 17 Pro Max's
- 2:21came out a little while ago and a quick story, We couldn't get a
- 2:26hold of Jill and it was a spur of the moment thing like OK, I'm
- 2:29buying these on the spot and we needed to know what colour she
- 2:31wanted and we guessed silver and then she can do whatever she
- 2:36wants with a phone case and all that stuff, right?
- 2:39Of course not, you know, you know, right, whatever colour I
- 2:42would pick, she would want. The other thing.
- 2:44Oddly enough, the girls never owned, I don't think any kind of
- 2:47colour before. She wanted orange like Dad so
- 2:52had to wait for the whole process for her phone to come in
- 2:54because it was already ordered. I had to send that one out and
- 2:57repurchase an Orange 1. So Tammy waits all day long here
- 3:03at home for the delivery of this because they want you to sign
- 3:06for it. So she waits and waits.
- 3:09She leaves the house for 7 minutes to go pick Jacob up from
- 3:12school and come home. Wouldn't you know, she missed
- 3:15the delivery guy? So I, yeah, so I called them
- 3:20thinking, oh, they'll they'll redeliver tomorrow or maybe we
- 3:23can get them to drop it off at a pickup spot and we can go pick
- 3:26it up at PS pickup spot. Well, I had no fight, no fight
- 3:32at all in that one because they told me at UPS that they have a
- 3:35contract with Costco where we bought the phones and Costco has
- 3:39an agreement. It's a one time shot and it gets
- 3:42sent back. What an awful policy.
- 3:45Hey, no, we get it. Yes.
- 3:48So Tammy was fuming. You know what she said?
- 3:52She circled the neighborhoods in the communities hunting down
- 3:55this UPS guy and finally she's like, I give up.
- 4:00I got to go to Publix and get a couple things.
- 4:02She's walk. If I get this right, she's
- 4:04walking out of Publix. Who does she see in the
- 4:06distance? A U PS: truck.
- 4:09She hunts that guy down and runs up to him with a paper and tells
- 4:13him that she's been looking for him all over the place.
- 4:16And he's like, yes, I have that package.
- 4:18Tell you what, I'll go down about 5:00 and I'll and I'll
- 4:22I'll deliver it to you. So my hero, good effort paid
- 4:26off. And I happened to get the ring
- 4:28alert when he showed up and he was handing her the phone.
- 4:31I said you are our hero, Sir. Wow, so.
- 4:37That's crazy. So yeah, I thought that was a
- 4:41story worth opening with. The last thing I'll say is, you
- 4:45know, I feel like the last time we started this podcast, I still
- 4:48had some sunlight. No more sunlight.
- 4:51Yeah, well, Catherine went to pick up Finley from after
- 4:55school. It was already dark by the time
- 4:57they got home. Like, this is weird.
- 5:01And of course, in the beginning, you know, when you first switch
- 5:03the time, that's when it's the, you know, the darkest and just
- 5:09always feels weird that way. Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 5:14So, you know, I'm sure questions will pop up for me as we go
- 5:19along, but I feel like I'm going to take a little bit of a
- 5:22backseat on this one and listen to the boys talk a lot.
- 5:25As you, yeah, if you have questions, pop them in.
- 5:28Same thing with chat. Chat if you have questions about
- 5:30the cruise and you want tips and tricks, just put AQ in front of
- 5:35your comment and we will respond to them.
- 5:39So this cruise was for Catherine's 40th.
- 5:45We I asked her what she wanted to do and it was either this or
- 5:50Disneyland and she was leaning towards the cruise.
- 5:53I reached out to Ivonne from Myers and the Mouse and book
- 6:01this cruise. I don't even remember when it
- 6:03was a couple months ago. Normally I don't book very early
- 6:06but book my trips early. But this one I did and you?
- 6:11Know well well. Well, cruises, I was going to
- 6:14say cruises. I've learned in research that
- 6:16the earlier you do it, it's like a flight, the cheaper the price.
- 6:20It doesn't go cheaper if you get closer.
- 6:22Exactly, so you know yours, you booked a year plus out.
- 6:28We were not that far out, but you know, having that count,
- 6:33that countdown is like crazy because you just want to get on
- 6:36this, especially being the first time that we were on the cruise.
- 6:40So I reached out to Catherine's sister to see if she wanted to
- 6:46go. She ended up not going, but I
- 6:49reached out to Nick and Christina to see if they wanted
- 6:52to go. And of course, Nick was down.
- 6:55As long as he could get the time off, he was going to be there.
- 6:58And so he he went with us. And so I'm going to bring Nick
- 7:04in because he is our guest for this evening, this evening show.
- 7:16Nick. Hey, hey.
- 7:19What's up, Nick? This Bros.
- 7:21This Bros. That's nice.
- 7:23This Bros is in full effect today.
- 7:25Now we're going to be Cruz Bros. That's right.
- 7:28That's. Right.
- 7:28Oh yeah. Oh, yeah.
- 7:30You coming on the next one? Let's go.
- 7:32All right. Fantasy, dream, wish.
- 7:37What's the other 10? Destiny.
- 7:40Hit them all. We'll make some up.
- 7:42We'll make some up. You see, I'm on my, I'm on my
- 7:45Steamboat. I got to have my, my Steamboat,
- 7:48Steamboat Willie. You know what I mean?
- 7:50Yeah. We we could have possibly been
- 7:53matchy matchy on that one. I like to matchy matchy people.
- 7:57So Nick went with us. Nick and Christina went.
- 8:01They have not been on a cruise. Would you been on the Staten
- 8:05Island Ferry? Maybe, Yeah.
- 8:09Maybe yeah about it. So what did what did you think
- 8:12when when I talked about going on on the cruise, especially
- 8:15Disney Cruise? The Walt Disney Cruise, yes, but
- 8:20it's not it. I mean, there's no rides on the
- 8:22cruise, or so we thought. We didn't know how much other
- 8:26entertainment that was on the cruise.
- 8:29And the first reaction to cruises is, oh, you know,
- 8:33where's it going to go? What do we do?
- 8:35How long is it, you know, and everything else that people
- 8:38think about cruises, you know, people get sick, it's crowded,
- 8:42it's expensive, all of those things.
- 8:45And Christina's actually, she's feeling under the weather today.
- 8:49So sad, sad, but maybe she'll pop an elbow in or something
- 8:53like that later. But she did a ton of research
- 8:56and, and we found out that it's actually, it's really fun.
- 9:00And we looked at the, the, the room tours.
- 9:05You can show yours too. But we looked at the room tours,
- 9:07we looked at what type of food, we looked at the excursions that
- 9:10we can do. And we actually did more, she
- 9:12actually did more research than than some travel agents.
- 9:16And because we just didn't know. And so, you know, she, you know,
- 9:21kudos good to her for doing all of that.
- 9:23Of course, every time we go to the parks, we have to dress up a
- 9:26different day and in our outfits and she makes ears.
- 9:31And so it's all of that. But so we we definitely made
- 9:34sure to to kind of do a lot of research and, and get into the
- 9:38crew spirit. But but yeah, we already know we
- 9:41was. We was going to have a good time
- 9:42no matter what. And you know, that's what,
- 9:46what's cool about Nick and Christina is they jump into
- 9:49whatever the theme is they, they go hardcore.
- 9:53So you'll see a little bit of that during, during the show.
- 9:57But you know, we had to get passports.
- 10:00We, we didn't have passports. Well, I guess technically we
- 10:03didn't have to get passports, but I don't even have a real ID,
- 10:06so I needed to get my passport. So we get our passports and now
- 10:10it's like, OK, well, these things are good for a long time.
- 10:13We better use them. So now it's like now that you
- 10:17have the passport because you're getting on the cruise, now you
- 10:20have no excuse. You can go to, to Mexico, you
- 10:23can go to, you know, the UK, you can go, you know, wherever you
- 10:29can afford to go. So, you know, that kind of
- 10:32opened up the, the idea of let's go and see some stuff.
- 10:36So we get there. I this is this was my
- 10:41recommendation is to get there the night before, right.
- 10:46Did you do that with your cruise, Corey?
- 10:49No, because you were driving. Here we just drove and parked.
- 10:53Yeah, that's right. We're about an hour away from
- 10:55from the port. Little over an hour.
- 10:57Right was it? Did you leave at a Port
- 11:00Canaveral? Yes, yes, we did.
- 11:03Which is, which is, which is, which is great because we get to
- 11:07save on airfare when it comes to cruises.
- 11:09So we're definitely at an advantage for that, you know, so
- 11:12close. Yeah.
- 11:13So we flew or we sailed out of Port Everglades down in Fort
- 11:21Lauderdale. So we both booked a hotel for
- 11:24the night before we got some dinner and then headed out that
- 11:29next morning to the port. And I remember feeling, I don't
- 11:33know if Nick felt this way, but nervous excitement, right?
- 11:39Because it's something we've never done, but it's also
- 11:43something you've never done. So you don't know what to
- 11:47expect, right? But Finley and I had watched a
- 11:51lot of of cruise videos and a lot of YouTube videos about the
- 11:54dream walkthroughs and all that kind of stuff.
- 11:56So kind of felt like I was, I was in a decent position, but
- 12:01still just we pulled up, we got an Uber from the hotel and we
- 12:05pull up and you just see the size of this thing.
- 12:08It is just massive. I mean, you couldn't even see it
- 12:14from so you know how you have the TTC for the reason that Walt
- 12:21didn't want the exposure of the parking lot right by the right
- 12:27by the by the park, right. Well, you don't really have that
- 12:32with the cruise ship. You know, you're just pulling up
- 12:35and there's your garage and that's where you get off and
- 12:38then the ship is like right there.
- 12:40But still, there was something magical about seeing that big
- 12:44Disney ship right there waiting, waiting to take us.
- 12:48And I I enjoy just being just that, that process.
- 12:54We we were coming up to it and, and Lawrence goes, Lawrence
- 12:57goes, we're not going to be on land for the next 5 days.
- 13:03Yeah, no, yeah. Like no American soil.
- 13:06Like we were walking up the I guess they call it the gangway.
- 13:09I don't know if they call it that for the for the ship.
- 13:12OK, so as I get there, I'm telling Finley I'm like, we're
- 13:16not going to be on American land for five days because we were
- 13:22going to Cozumel, Mexico. And then we had another sailing
- 13:27day and we went to Castaway Key and then we sailed back.
- 13:31So we went out on American soil for five days.
- 13:34I've never had that experience because I've never left the
- 13:37country outside of when I was three.
- 13:39I went to Montreal and I think that was for like 2 days for a
- 13:43wedding. So it was, it was really cool.
- 13:47We get on the ship and actually, you know, one of the things that
- 13:52they do is the the welcome, right?
- 13:55I'll show. I'll show you that video.
- 14:23So, you know, it's kind of cool because they announce every
- 14:28single family that comes on the ship and you just feel, you know
- 14:33how they say welcome home when you go to a resort, it's the
- 14:36same thing. They do the same thing there.
- 14:38They say welcome, welcome home. Nick, what did you think walking
- 14:43on the ship for the first time and seeing the atrium?
- 14:45Yeah, I was about to say that it it's that's grand.
- 14:49That's on some like, I don't know, Great Gatsby stuff, right.
- 14:52And like that huge atrium, the, the, the staircase where, where
- 14:57the, the pumpkin tree was that huge chandelier.
- 15:01I I didn't know it was going to be like that.
- 15:03And it's, it's such a grand opening.
- 15:05And you're like, wow, this is cool, you know, and yeah, as as
- 15:10much as luxurious as it felt, it was like, all right, this is
- 15:13cozy. This isn't, you know, Yeah.
- 15:16It felt cozy as well as extravagant and elegant at the
- 15:19same time. It's funny that you say it was
- 15:23cozy because I said those exact words to Lawrence not too long
- 15:27ago, right? It's like, although this is a
- 15:29grand ship and there's thousands of people on it all the time, I
- 15:33felt like there was a level of coziness, like this is our home
- 15:36for five days. We're going to be on.
- 15:38It's going to it. There's so much to do here.
- 15:40We don't have to technically even leave it.
- 15:42And it's there's a cozy, homey feeling about it.
- 15:44I don't know what it is. Yeah, that's true.
- 15:47I mean, you think about it between, between the guests and
- 15:51the crew, there's over 1400 crew members on that that ship.
- 15:56And so you're talking about 6000 people just about.
- 16:00And yet it still felt very cozy, you know, and, and you started
- 16:05to get used to it, right? Like by day 2, you knew I get
- 16:11off this elevator and I know I'm right there all that's Sarah's
- 16:15door. OK, I'm I know I'm at the right
- 16:16spot and I'm, I'm going down the down the down the hall and, and
- 16:21our door is next. You know, it's you just start to
- 16:23get used to it. And it did feel like like home.
- 16:30What about? Let me, let me add to that, let
- 16:33me add to a little bit of that for a second.
- 16:35So you were wowed at the atrium when you went by, but did it
- 16:40take a day or two before? You're just walking by that
- 16:43thing multiple times a day and it's no big deal anymore, right?
- 16:46Because that's the way I feel like when I, when I'm in Magic
- 16:49Kingdom and I just, I'm cutting through the the hub to go from
- 16:54Adventureland to Tomorrowland. Sometimes I don't even look at
- 16:57the castle. Yeah, it's.
- 16:58Counting, you know. And you get.
- 17:00Used to it, right? You got used to it at some
- 17:02point. It started and and remember
- 17:04towards the end we were like, you know, the atrium actually
- 17:06looks small right now. Yes.
- 17:08And I think it just became like the living room, you know what I
- 17:12mean, of the. Ships.
- 17:13Yeah, Yeah, exactly. So go ahead, Lawrence.
- 17:18You know, and, and certain ships, like we've been watching
- 17:21a lot of the, the other videos and some ships that atrium is
- 17:25actually a theater. Now they do have some
- 17:29performances, some, some activities there.
- 17:32So for example, they do the, the tree lighting, right?
- 17:36And they have this little story around Nightmare before
- 17:40Christmas. And they also did the diaper
- 17:47dash. So they had all these kids.
- 17:50How many 14 I think it was and they had three heats of these
- 17:55little babies that were under a year old and couldn't walk and
- 17:58they just had this diaper dash. It was so funny to watch What
- 18:04else did they do there? Well, they did the the final
- 18:06show was there the last night the see you real soon they.
- 18:11Had the band. They had the band.
- 18:14Yeah. Yeah, there's some some
- 18:16Christmas jazz playing. I mean Disney Jazz.
- 18:22Yeah, they, they were, they were.
- 18:26So they had they had some good entertainment there, but that
- 18:29wasn't really the I'll say that wasn't really the hub of the, of
- 18:34the ship. You know, it's deck 11 where the
- 18:37pool is, where the funnel vision is, where all the, you know, big
- 18:42activities are. And so that was impressive when
- 18:45we walked up there for the sail away party to see that space
- 18:51because it's massive. I mean, it they could really fit
- 18:56the majority of us up there. I mean, it was it was it was the
- 19:02hub like the Finley was there just about every day in the pool
- 19:07in the slide. She did the aqueduct.
- 19:09That's the one thing Nick and I both did not do the aqueduct.
- 19:12No, you did. You did.
- 19:14That's right, Yeah. I did not get through the
- 19:17aqueduct. Yeah, it's on the top of the
- 19:18ship and on the top of the cruise ship and it's, it's a
- 19:21water ride. It's a tube slide and it
- 19:23actually hangs over the side of the the side of the cruise ship
- 19:27as if you're just hovering over the ocean.
- 19:30It goes decently fast. It's not a short ride.
- 19:34You know, it's, it takes you around the ship and you're
- 19:36waving at people. They're waving at your back.
- 19:37You hover over the the two pools in the in the top of the deck
- 19:41and it's a it's a cool little. It's a cool little.
- 19:44Oh, there we go. Oh, that's a for movie night.
- 19:47Yeah. Do do you have a blueprint shot
- 19:50of the ship with all the decks and things?
- 19:52No, I meant to grab that, but I didn't.
- 19:54I didn't get a nice one that I wanted.
- 19:56Oh. Yeah, yeah.
- 19:58But. Tony Otower wants to know how
- 20:00active the atrium was during during sea days.
- 20:06Honestly, unless there's something going on there like
- 20:09the band playing or the diaper dash, the atrium really isn't
- 20:14that busy. But to me, because it was just
- 20:19to get from place to place, you know, But there were you did
- 20:24have the the character, you had a lot of character meet and
- 20:27greets there. You had the princesses that met
- 20:30there. You had let's see if I can pull
- 20:34up some of the the characters now again, Nick can talk about
- 20:42like they set out with a plan for the characters Talk, talk
- 20:45about. Yeah.
- 20:46Yeah, yeah, yeah, Amen. Yeah.
- 20:49Every. So every time we go, of course,
- 20:51the the shout out goes to to Christina.
- 20:53By the way, for anybody that doesn't know, Lawrence and I are
- 20:56actually brothers. So I got to give a shout out to
- 20:59and say hi to Purple Pleasure. Hi, Mom and.
- 21:03And I'm the brother from another mother.
- 21:05I like to play myself. Yeah, yeah.
- 21:08And you actually had had our other brother on Alex.
- 21:11Yeah, his first. Yeah.
- 21:13Disney. That's right.
- 21:14So you got almost all your brothers on.
- 21:16That's right. And mom got all of her sons on.
- 21:18So. But, but no, whenever we go out,
- 21:22you know, kudos to Christina. And she's like, look, it's
- 21:25Halloween. So of course we got to have like
- 21:273 or 4 Halloween outfits. And I don't know if you have,
- 21:30you have all these shots. Yeah.
- 21:32So we, we went as Lock and Shock from Nightmare Before Christmas.
- 21:38And of course there's two of us. So we you know, but Beryl came
- 21:41along with us and you'll see those pictures in a second.
- 21:43And we of course it's pirate night, right?
- 21:45So we didn't realize, we didn't realize how big pirate themed is
- 21:51and we should have known this, but it's huge.
- 21:53There's a whole pirate night that happens and everybody
- 21:56dresses up amazingly. So of course we had to do our
- 21:58thing and dress up as pirates. Actually, I got what's pirate
- 22:02Mickey? It's pirate Mickey that we
- 22:04brought along. So he's ready for the high seas
- 22:08with his dreads and everything. Of course, this is a pirate hat.
- 22:12So we was we was decked out. You know what I mean?
- 22:16There we go. Yeah.
- 22:18Oh yeah. Picture with a hook, you know
- 22:21what I mean? There's Christine and I think
- 22:23yeah, we had to do it Big I I also didn't realize how big
- 22:29ducks the whole duck thing is. I mean, you know, we're we're
- 22:32first time cruises everybody. So, so we didn't realize that
- 22:35that you see all these ducks back here that we had to collect
- 22:39these and hide these. And it was a lot of fun doing
- 22:41that. And so a lot of people got some,
- 22:45some tiny little ducks from us, but Nah, the the characters and
- 22:52we knew, oh, here's the other thing that we planned is that
- 22:55Christina said, you know, let's usually when we go to the parks,
- 22:59we have some characters sign something and I usually have
- 23:02them sign a hat. And this is my core hat that I
- 23:07had Daisy and Donald and Chippendale and Minnie, and
- 23:13somehow Asha got in there to sign and Goofy and Pluto.
- 23:17So I needed Mickey to sign this hat and he did.
- 23:20But the other thing we wanted to do was have photos that we were
- 23:25going to take. Oops, I got stuffed, Jonathan.
- 23:28And we wanted to have a frame signed by all the characters on
- 23:32the cruise ship. And so I don't know if you can
- 23:36read all of this, but we've got Chip and Dale, Goofy, just about
- 23:39everybody on the ship. We didn't do the the royal
- 23:42gathering to have them all signed, but Ariel, Cindy, we got
- 23:49Mini, of course, the crew, Mulan, we have them all sign
- 23:52this. And so of course, we now the
- 23:54last thing to do is to print out the photos from from our trip
- 23:58and put them in here and this will live in our memories
- 24:02forever. So that was the plan.
- 24:04We plan accomplished. We did that.
- 24:07So but yeah, the the characters are great.
- 24:12All of their, you know, it's what you expect.
- 24:14They're not, you know, they they're first cut characters.
- 24:16They do the signatures the same. They do all the mannerism.
- 24:20It's fun to meet them. And we had a great time doing
- 24:22that. Chip, Chip and Dale.
- 24:25Chip and Dale were their normal Chip and Dale sounds.
- 24:28They were. They were cutting up with each
- 24:30other. Was it Dale that was signing?
- 24:34So Finley had her autograph book and so Dale is signing it and
- 24:39Chip goes over to him, rushing him like this and clapping it,
- 24:42right? Yeah, he was.
- 24:43Taking a while to sign and chip's like, come on, this
- 24:46guy's, you know, yeah. So it was, it was a lot of fun
- 24:50and they were like, you could, you know, find them randomly.
- 24:55They, they were in the app. So there isn't a navigator
- 24:58cruise app that you would use. But they, it did feel like
- 25:03sometimes there was some random characters.
- 25:05So for example, we went to the royal gathering so that Finley
- 25:08could meet the princesses. But before that, we stumble upon
- 25:16Mulan just hanging out in the hallway just above right there
- 25:21on Deck 4, just taking pictures. And so we got her to sign and
- 25:27take a picture and we asked her if she was going to be in the
- 25:30Royal gathering. And she was like, no, I have
- 25:32some stuff to do, so I'm not going to be there.
- 25:34But but Ariel was there, Cinderella was there, Tiana and
- 25:43Rapunzel, who of course, Rapunzel is Finley's favorite
- 25:48Princess. So we were able to get a picture
- 25:51with Finley and her Rapunzel dress with, with Rapunzel.
- 25:55So she was, she was really happy about that.
- 25:59And those happened on a couple different days.
- 26:02So it's not like you had to rush to do something.
- 26:06And I think that that's that was something that really stuck out
- 26:09to me about the cruise is that there is a you will not get
- 26:15everything done. You just won't.
- 26:19Nick, what was something that you wanted to do on the cruise
- 26:21that you didn't get to do? Wow.
- 26:27OK, There were, OK, We didn't realize the theater action that
- 26:32happens like the theater plays that happened on the ship and
- 26:37apparently there were three of them.
- 26:39And I guess, and I guess this is now a poll question of anybody
- 26:44that has seen any of the plays on there, but apparently they
- 26:47all have different plays. So Beauty and the Beast was one
- 26:50of them that they did in the theater.
- 26:53Golden Mickey's was one and believe so we saw Beauty and the
- 26:59Beast. Amazing.
- 27:01OK, it's amazing. The the the singing, the the
- 27:04theatrics, the acting, the banter, all of that is what you
- 27:10expect for Broadway quality theater.
- 27:14And I didn't realize Disney Cruise was going to have
- 27:16Broadway quality theater. Believe, if anybody has seen
- 27:21that, that is that will make you believe in mad.
- 27:24It was amazing. That was an amazing, but we
- 27:27didn't get to see Golden Mickey's and everybody's like,
- 27:31you got to see Golden Mickey's. It's the best.
- 27:33And I was like, what, What are you talking about?
- 27:36Do we miss Golden Mickey's? So that that was one thing.
- 27:40But yeah, so I guess chat, if you've seen any of those plays,
- 27:44theater within cruise, which ones do you like the best?
- 27:48But we we were blown away by that.
- 27:50Yeah, and Golden Mickey. See, that was partly my fault
- 27:54too, because I saw it. I knew it was in the theater and
- 27:57I thought, excuse me, I thought it was just.
- 28:01I thought it was a montage of, you know, Mickey shorts.
- 28:05I don't know, you know, I didn't realize it was going to be a
- 28:08stage performance. If I did, I probably would have
- 28:11went because when we saw Beauty and the Beast, luckily we were
- 28:13also center stage there. And man, what a performance.
- 28:19And then Believe, like Nick said, is incredible.
- 28:22Believe is actually a original story, an original story for the
- 28:29Disney Cruise Line and it will be on the fantasy.
- 28:33So you will get to see Believe and so believe I won't give much
- 28:39away, but Believe is a story about a dad that stops believing
- 28:43in the magic and all your favorite characters come to help
- 28:48him start to believe. Unbelievable show.
- 28:52So, so good. Yeah, so, so good.
- 28:55And the, the, the thing about the shows, what Nick is right
- 29:00about them being Broadway quality.
- 29:02All of those performers have performed on Broadway.
- 29:07They were either on Broadway, they were on West End or they
- 29:09were on the first national tour. So these folks know how to do
- 29:13it. The other crazy thing to me is
- 29:15that it's the same cast in all three shows, which means they
- 29:20have to learn three shows. And on Monday night they perform
- 29:25in Golden Mickey's. Tuesday night they're performing
- 29:27Beauty and the Beast. And then Wednesday night they
- 29:29perform or Thursday night they're performing Believe
- 29:34That's crazy to me because you're talking about, you know,
- 29:403 scripts, 3 choreography. Like it's they were absolutely
- 29:46incredible and didn't miss a beat.
- 29:48Absolutely didn't miss a beat. I will say, I thought we were
- 29:52going to have time to like watch a movie, right?
- 29:54Like Tron Aries was playing there.
- 29:57We could have seen Tron there. Never had time.
- 30:01You caught about 20 minutes of Pirates in the Caribbean.
- 30:04Of course they played that. And of course I watched it in my
- 30:06pirate outfit. And but yeah, the, the, the they
- 30:09had movie nights up there. You just go up there, you get
- 30:12ice cream, you get popcorn and you just, you catch a movie.
- 30:15And then those were late nights. They had the food open that was
- 30:19on inclusive food throughout the day.
- 30:22We could pivot to the food if you want, but the food was
- 30:26amazing. I'll just say this, OK, Paulo,
- 30:33anybody that knows anything about Paulo knows that that's
- 30:36one of the best places to eat, I guess, in general.
- 30:39But authentic Italian restaurant on the ship.
- 30:44They served an amazing brunch, the eggs Benedict, eggs Benedict
- 30:52and, and the, and the dinner from Paulo too.
- 30:56But you know, like, imagine anybody that hasn't been on on
- 31:00the dream or any cruise, Disney cruise.
- 31:02Imagine, close your eyes and imagine that you're on the seas
- 31:06and the, the, the sunset it is setting and you have you going
- 31:10to, to, to this authentic Italian restaurant.
- 31:15And actually our waiter was Italian.
- 31:18He was actually from Sardinia. So with his accent, trying to
- 31:22understand him. Saying things in.
- 31:24Italian, whatever he says, it sounds amazing that we want to
- 31:26eat and it would and it's it was amazing food.
- 31:31So anybody that knows something about Paulo, now we've been
- 31:33spoiled. I can't eat eggs Benedict the
- 31:35same way anymore. But but whether it be Paulo,
- 31:40whether it whether it be, what were the other?
- 31:44So the other the other one was Remy.
- 31:46So Paulo and Remy are the 2. They're actually on the the 12th
- 31:50or 13th deck and they are they are the 2 restaurants that you
- 31:56have to pay for, but the food is phenomenal.
- 32:00You don't even now Apollo is at each of the each of the cruise
- 32:05ships so as well. So you'll have Apollo on the
- 32:08fantasy also. OK.
- 32:11But you don't even have to go to those to get good food.
- 32:17The the restaurants that you you do rotational dining.
- 32:21Did you have rotational dining on on your cruise, Corey?
- 32:26No, no. Of course, you know, for those
- 32:29who don't know, we did, we did Royal.
- 32:31We, we are waiting to do our first Disney Cruise.
- 32:33But with Royal, No, we had, we had the main dining that you
- 32:37could go to or you could go to the buffet or you could pay for
- 32:42things like Chops Grill or Giovanni's is the is the Italian
- 32:48restaurant. We paid up for Chops Grill and
- 32:51it was, it was the best steak we've ever had.
- 32:55Amazing service, great, great night.
- 32:58And there's a blog over there living in Diz if you want to
- 33:00check out Chops Grill review. That was really good.
- 33:03So because it was Catherine's birthday, we did a couple
- 33:07special things. So we did do Paulo the night of
- 33:11her birthday. She have I have a Co host for
- 33:14time. So we did we did a couple
- 33:20things. She she got a nice, nice robe
- 33:23from Disney cruise. It's so soft.
- 33:28Is that one that was supposed to stay in the room or she was
- 33:31allowed to leave with it? No, no, no.
- 33:34It was it. She was allowed to bring it
- 33:35home. It it was good all.
- 33:37Right, you know our reputation. Don't worry, don't be down.
- 33:39On the list. Right.
- 33:40Don't worry, she didn't pirate it.
- 33:42Let's see what I did now. But we by the way.
- 33:49Mark, you mentioned rotational dining.
- 33:51I think Disney Cruise Lines, if I'm not mistaken, is the only
- 33:53cruise line that has rotational dining.
- 33:56Oh, OK, well then let me explain that a little bit because I had
- 34:00no clue about rotational dining. So rotational dining your first
- 34:07night might be, what's the name of it, Nick?
- 34:10Royal Garden. No enchanted garden.
- 34:13Royal Palace, Royal palace and Animator's palette.
- 34:18Animator's Palette So you had those 3 restaurants.
- 34:21So on your four nights you are slotted to seat at one of those
- 34:26restaurants and we were table 87 and you were table 87 at each of
- 34:31the, the restaurants and your servers moved with you.
- 34:38So if you had melroy at, you know, Royal Royal Palace, you
- 34:44then also had Melroy at Animators Palate.
- 34:49Excuse me. And they it wasn't just Melroy
- 34:52like there was there was Melroy, there was.
- 34:57Philippa. Philippa and Randy, you know.
- 35:02Also known as Jose. Also known as Jose one night.
- 35:05No, Juan was it. Juan Oh was.
- 35:08It I can't remember. It was a Spanish J name.
- 35:12But you know, you know how Corey, when they lose their name
- 35:15tag, they have to have a name tag.
- 35:17So yeah, he became, he became some other name.
- 35:20So. So this is in the Enchanted
- 35:25Garden. We were table 87.
- 35:27So you always knew, you know, when you walked into the
- 35:29restaurant, you would say table it.
- 35:31They actually ask you what table you would say 87.
- 35:34Yeah. We didn't know the first night.
- 35:36So that was Melroyd. Melroyd has been there 13 years
- 35:41or 11 years. Eleven years on the ship.
- 35:47Now. Here's something that I, I, I
- 35:49wanted to bring up because I think it's very important for
- 35:51people to understand just how special these cast members are.
- 35:55You know it, you're in the parks twice a week.
- 35:58You know how special cast members are.
- 36:00These folks, I didn't realize this until we were on the cruise
- 36:04already. Their contracts are between 4
- 36:071/2 and six months long, and then they'll go home for a month
- 36:14to six to seven weeks. 6-7, they'll go, they'll go home.
- 36:21They'll go home for, for that period of time.
- 36:24Yeah. And they're on the ship and in
- 36:29the dream, their bunk beds. So they're bunking with another
- 36:34cast member during their six months there.
- 36:37They also don't really have a full day off.
- 36:41It's rare for them to get a full day off.
- 36:44Like they might work breakfast and maybe they're off for lunch
- 36:47and then they're working for dinner.
- 36:48Especially the dinner folks and then the state room attendants.
- 36:52They have to get you dinner every night and they have to get
- 36:55your room ready every night. Well, actually twice a day.
- 36:58Yeah. So they they never can have a
- 37:01full day off. Yeah.
- 37:03And then you would think, well, deparcation is easy, right?
- 37:07No, because it's also embarcation.
- 37:10So just because we're leaving, that's their worst day because
- 37:14they've got to get everybody off, get the rooms changed over
- 37:18and get ready to greet the new folks coming in it.
- 37:21What these folks do, it is absolutely amazing, absolutely
- 37:25amazing. So our our state room attendant,
- 37:30Jocelyn, he had been there what, 17 years?
- 37:33You can tell that these guys that have been there, you know,
- 37:37upwards of a decade, you can tell that they like their job
- 37:41and you can tell that they're good at their job.
- 37:43I mean, it was like the second or that that first day, like we
- 37:48met him. He came and he talked to us.
- 37:51And then later that night he was like, hey, Miss Catherine, is
- 37:54there anything I can get for you?
- 37:54And I'm like, how do you know my name?
- 37:58Like he just remembered me. He knew me.
- 38:00And the whole time I felt like, like he really was attending to
- 38:06our family, even though he had, you know, he should have asked
- 38:10however many staterooms that he was attending to.
- 38:12But he, you know, the fact that he made us feel that way or made
- 38:16me feel that way, I'm pretty sure that he did the same with
- 38:20all of his stateroom. Tenants and you know.
- 38:27How did, how do you, how was it for you guys?
- 38:30Nick 'cause. They had a different.
- 38:32State room attendant. Yeah, yeah.
- 38:34So we, we were actually, we were on both on deck, deck 8 and we
- 38:38were just on opposite sides, port side and starboard side
- 38:42cruise lingo. But no, you guys were.
- 38:44Starboard. We were starboard, so yeah, so.
- 38:48So yeah, shout out to our guy Wida.
- 38:50He's from Indonesia, from Bali, WIRA, shout out to him.
- 38:54And normally when you go to a hotel and you're just like, I
- 38:56don't need room service or whatever, and you put the the
- 38:58sign out, but they have to clean, they're gonna enter and
- 39:01they have to clean your room twice a day.
- 39:04So after the first time, we're like, ah, we're pretty clean.
- 39:06We don't need anything. He came in anyway.
- 39:08OK, great. And then we went out, went to
- 39:10dinner and came back like that. And he and we, we have a new
- 39:13towel, you know, animal that was that.
- 39:15And we're like, he came again and there's nothing we're going
- 39:18to do besides do this towel art, which was amazing.
- 39:22But but yeah, shout out to them. They they, they, they do their
- 39:25thing. I think widow was on for how
- 39:28long, Christina? Like 15 years or something like
- 39:30that. Oh yeah, I think what is that?
- 39:32It's like a sea turtle. Sea.
- 39:35Turtle on. All those chocolates were good
- 39:37did. You.
- 39:38I never had one. Yeah.
- 39:40Chocolate. OK, you ate them off.
- 39:42But you know, so the beauty of it with like with you guys, you
- 39:45guys wouldn't have been able to tell.
- 39:47Hey, Christina. Hey, Christina.
- 39:50You guys wouldn't have been able to tell, but for us with Finley,
- 39:55they would have to bring her bed down every evening, so they had
- 39:58to come service our room every evening and then every day in
- 40:04the morning they would put her bed back up.
- 40:08Apparently it's not, it's they're not allowed to or we're
- 40:10not allowed to keep it down. And he told us he's like, you
- 40:14know, if you guys want to take a nap, just let me know.
- 40:16I'll be down the hall somewhere and I'll come down and I'll make
- 40:19the bed for you. We never did need that service,
- 40:23but it was available if we needed it.
- 40:26And since you would see Greg acts in the chat, what happens
- 40:29if they're sick? And I was, we were thinking the
- 40:31same thing, like cruise ships being as, as they are, right.
- 40:36By the way, a lot of people did get sick after this one,
- 40:39Christina's included. I didn't, but but you guys
- 40:44didn't. But yeah.
- 40:45So we're like, what happens if any of the crew get sick?
- 40:49The, the, the state room attendance, like, you know, it's
- 40:52you got to. So I don't know, I don't know
- 40:54what kind of immune systems they have, but I get to be, you know,
- 40:57going on the ship as long as they have they're, you know,
- 41:00doped up on vitamin C. But but yeah, that and, and
- 41:04you're right. That's why gratuities are a must
- 41:07because they're they, you know, we the, the last thing that we
- 41:11were thinking about is how much do they make?
- 41:13Right? And you know, for most people
- 41:15it's a personal question, but we were like, you guys are in
- 41:17Bahamian dollars. That's.
- 41:21Right. You guys are on the cruise
- 41:22months out of the year. You come back for a little bit,
- 41:25you go right back, you don't get any days off.
- 41:27Like it's insane. And a lot of them come from all
- 41:29different parts of the world. And so it's cool to talk to
- 41:32learn about their lives and everything and, and, and we're
- 41:35brought them to the ship and stuff.
- 41:36But but yeah, their gratuities are must.
- 41:39And, you know, they, they actually include it and then
- 41:42everybody always tips them pretty generously.
- 41:44Yeah. And you can prepay the tips if
- 41:48you want to and then leave additional if you want to
- 41:51afterwards. So that's what we.
- 41:52Did we prepaid as well as we gave Lita extra?
- 41:57Because I figured, I mean, he's scrubbing our toilets, he
- 41:59deserves extra, right? So we ended up giving him more,
- 42:03you know, But yeah. Oh, so Steve and Tony, they have
- 42:07a sick Bay. All right.
- 42:08Well, I guess they got a quarantine.
- 42:10So they do that, that's on, that's on deck 1.
- 42:13So we we never, well actually the only time we went there is
- 42:16when we were getting on and off at the excursion.
- 42:21Wait, had Steve? And Tony?
- 42:22Been on a cruise on a Disney cruise before?
- 42:25Have they been on a cruise yet? Corey, Steve and Tony.
- 42:30Hi, I'm not sure. They'll let us know.
- 42:34Yeah. Murray, good to see you, Eric.
- 42:39Eric, he wants to know if you guys had a veranda room.
- 42:41Oh, good question. I.
- 42:44Told Lawrence. I was like, for my birthday,
- 42:47right? I was like, let's go big.
- 42:51I want to. I want to wake up in the morning
- 42:54and smell the fresh sea air, which I did do every.
- 43:00Morning. We missed that.
- 43:01I did watch the sunrise a couple of times.
- 43:05Yeah, veranda. Yeah, yeah.
- 43:08Get a veranda. They, they.
- 43:09So there's veranda rooms, which it means that you have a balcony
- 43:13that you can stand out on. They have what is it port
- 43:16something? It's a porthole, the port
- 43:18window, but you can't step out on.
- 43:21And then they have inside rooms where there's none of that.
- 43:24It's cheaper, but you're inside. I thought that they would have
- 43:27been bigger, at least if, you know, we were talking about this
- 43:29a little while ago. But yeah, if this if the inside
- 43:31rooms that you don't have a view, they would be bigger and
- 43:35obviously cheaper, but is what it is.
- 43:39Yeah. But yeah.
- 43:40And then there's also the the the tower suites, right.
- 43:44And there's a concierge deck on I think on the 12th and the 13th
- 43:49deck, and you want to talk about cruising and luxury.
- 43:54That's our next cruise. Yeah.
- 43:57Yeah, OK. I, I priced that out.
- 44:00We're not. We're no just.
- 44:03Need 2030 thousand. 2030 thousand.
- 44:05Yeah, I do. I do have a friend that's going
- 44:08to stay at the Tower Suite, the Destiny on the maiden voyage.
- 44:12So I will be sure to get some video from him to show it on on
- 44:17the show because that'll that'll be good.
- 44:19Yeah, I do need to have them on the show.
- 44:22Someone asked about the room. Let me show you our room.
- 44:30So that's what it looks like. Look at that plane door, Nick
- 44:33and Christina. That's what it looked like
- 44:37before we before we started. But what's cool about the the
- 44:41Disney ships is you have split bathrooms.
- 44:44So you have a bathroom and you see the 2 doors.
- 44:47You have one bathroom that has the sink in the toilet, the
- 44:50other one has a sink and a shower or tub.
- 44:53They. Decorated for my birthday.
- 44:56Decorated for her birthday. So she got a towel, she got
- 45:01pillowcases, sash and that, that banner.
- 45:06This room is only 300 square feet, but it's big, especially
- 45:11for the three of us. I think even for the four of us,
- 45:13it would it would work if Jay came.
- 45:16So there you see the room without the bed down.
- 45:19So you have a separate living area.
- 45:22You've got a table. The curtain pulls across to
- 45:25separate. And then we did have a veranda.
- 45:28So excited that. I didn't even take my bag off.
- 45:31Yeah, I'm like, let's go out here, right?
- 45:34Now, yeah. And then I couldn't open the.
- 45:38Door so so that I mean, I've seen a lot of different rooms.
- 45:46I did enjoy having that one with the with the veranda out there
- 45:50to to look and it's not like we went out there and had coffee.
- 45:53We should have. 22 sinks, though is was a was a pleasant
- 45:58surprise. We were like, OK, we're not
- 46:01sharing. We we just knew it was going to
- 46:03be cramped and tiny. We were like, OK, you got just
- 46:05saying I got my sink right. So that was good.
- 46:08And also 2 closets. There was a safe, the bed
- 46:13actually has room that you could put your luggage under.
- 46:16So that was storage that was great.
- 46:19The desk, yellow TV there, which, you know, I got my Mickey
- 46:22shorts on, you know. Oh yeah, Oh yeah.
- 46:27I I texted Lawrence at 11 particular night and I'm like
- 46:30you watching Mickey Shorts and he's like, as matter of fact, we
- 46:32are. It was.
- 46:36I just knew Nick was watching them on the other across the
- 46:39hall. There, yes, I was watching oh,
- 46:42Christina, I'm not going to see that, but yeah, I I took a
- 46:45picture and I was going to send it to you guys, but it was late.
- 46:48But I was like, you know, I'm getting my Mickey shorts.
- 46:50On did you get the? Did you get the Internet package
- 46:53Nick? No, I didn't.
- 46:55OK, 'cause I was going to say cause So the beauty about the
- 46:58the did you? I don't know if you mentioned
- 47:01this is that sorry, Android users, but if you're an iPhone
- 47:07user, imessages work, yes, now you can communicate with each
- 47:12other. If you know your what, what is
- 47:15what is like your your your calf.
- 47:18Yeah, that's an yeah. There's.
- 47:20An IT in the app, you have to get the cruise LINE app and
- 47:23there's a chat function in the app where if you have somebody's
- 47:26ID you can chat with them on the cruise line network.
- 47:30Right, but if you don't, you could chat with imet or you can
- 47:34send each other imessages as iPhone users.
- 47:38So that was great and we did that the whole time.
- 47:43Now with the chat feature, that is how they contact you when
- 47:48your kid is at the Ocean Ears Club or or Ocean Ears Lab, which
- 47:54is the the kids club basically. And that's how they contact you
- 47:57to let you know if your kid wants to be picked up or what
- 48:00have you. Yeah, so they use the app.
- 48:05I was going to say that's one thing that using the app is
- 48:09fine. And how much was the the
- 48:11Internet? It was like $28.00 or something
- 48:12like that per. Day it was 20.
- 48:13Was it 28 or 26? One of the two.
- 48:18And I got it for one day. I got it for my birthday because
- 48:21it felt weird not talking to my mom on my birthday.
- 48:25Yeah, so I got it for my birthday and I actually
- 48:28Facetimed with my Co workers that day and the connection was
- 48:32flawless. So it was it was really good.
- 48:35And then I faced so that was FaceTime on iPhone.
- 48:41But then I spoke to my mom on WhatsApp.
- 48:43There you go. Yeah.
- 48:44So WhatsApp is also available. But Christina, tell him, tell
- 48:49him the issue that with WhatsApp.
- 48:52Oh, so I did not download it yet.
- 48:57So it pretty much, yeah. With the iPhone you if you do
- 49:01attempt to download WhatsApp, it it doesn't work like at all.
- 49:05You have to do it prior to, you know, boarding on the nothing
- 49:09works. Yeah, it was a little bit.
- 49:11Have it already downloaded like installed and you have to have
- 49:15already had like created your account or whatever it is
- 49:19because once you have no Internet, that's it.
- 49:22Yeah, that's. It but oh what I was going to
- 49:23say about imessages is that imessages work but pictures
- 49:28don't. Right, right.
- 49:31And funny enough, you can't obviously get YouTube, but I
- 49:36could get into the studio app. So I was editing Corey's live
- 49:40streams while I'm just laying there in bed.
- 49:43I'm just editing out copyrights and stuff like that.
- 49:47So you're welcome. I was working on my vacation.
- 49:49He wasn't sitting on the rod and having coffee, he was editing
- 49:52your your streams. You know LID never sleeps.
- 49:57That's right, there are no days off in LA also.
- 49:59Never rests on a veranda. Tony, I wish that the Internet
- 50:06was free. If if that's the one of the
- 50:07thing that I'll be like, you know, they should just include
- 50:09that. They should just include the
- 50:11Internet package for everyone. But I think it was like $188.00
- 50:14for the the the the whole trip. For one device for.
- 50:18One device. For one device.
- 50:20One person, one. Device.
- 50:21That's crazy. Yeah, most.
- 50:22People just it was too much. The the Internet package through
- 50:26their own phone provider. Yeah, either that or disconnect.
- 50:31It was. It was.
- 50:32It was nice to be able to disconnect it.
- 50:34Really was just did not have to worry about that.
- 50:37I was going to mention that. The only time I was a little
- 50:40worried, like when we got off in Cozumel, like if they're not
- 50:44right next to me, like, you know, it's Cozumel, Mexico.
- 50:49The only thing that I did miss was that so Christina told me
- 50:54about the Facebook group for our specific cruise time.
- 51:00So you join this Facebook group and it's everyone that's going
- 51:03on your cruise during your time frame.
- 51:07And they, they, you know, plan different things.
- 51:11They plan the, the Pixie dusting.
- 51:14You can tell them, you know, what you're celebrating and
- 51:16stuff like that. And what I missed was that
- 51:21sometimes people were chatting back and forth on the Facebook
- 51:24group, but because I didn't have Internet, I didn't have a way to
- 51:27communicate back. And sometimes I would get
- 51:28messages saying, Hey, someone commented on your picture, but I
- 51:32could never see what they said because I couldn't actually go
- 51:34on the app and view those messages.
- 51:37I just got notifications. Yeah.
- 51:40Speaking of, Speaking of the of the Facebook group, Christina
- 51:44actually did something really cool.
- 51:45You want to tell him about it? The shirt.
- 51:48Oh no, it wasn't just me. It was, what's her name?
- 51:51You. Did it?
- 51:51It was your idea, I'm going to say.
- 51:52That no. It wasn't my idea.
- 51:58OK, I think, Lawrence, I sent you the video.
- 52:01Do you have the video? It just kind of like.
- 52:03I didn't get it loaded in. OK, so.
- 52:07So what happened was Christina, we planned the outfit every
- 52:11night and Christina goes on this day and you're going to wear
- 52:13this shirt. And so put the picture.
- 52:17And so I was like, all right, cool, I wear this shirt.
- 52:20It's a cool shirt. It's, it's pumpkin Mickey's and
- 52:22things like that. And as we're walking through the
- 52:26atrium and, and to that lower level, I see a whole bunch of
- 52:29other guys wearing the same shirt.
- 52:31And I'm like, oh, OK. And, and they come to me and I'm
- 52:34like, oh, nice shirt, nice shirt.
- 52:35And I look around and there's like 20 of the people wearing
- 52:38the same shirt. And I was like, I get it.
- 52:40I see what happened here. And, and apparently it's a
- 52:44thing. So when Christina was on the.
- 52:46Is that the video? So, so when Christina was on the
- 52:49Facebook group, she was like, yeah, let's let's do a prank.
- 52:52And everybody pranks their spouse or whatever.
- 52:54And shout out to Sarah. She's the one who initially came
- 52:56out with it. It's a TikTok prank pretty much
- 52:59where all the dads wear the same shirts, so the wives have to,
- 53:03you know, buy the shirts and get them all together.
- 53:05Let's see. Oh yeah, she's showing it.
- 53:07I. Don't know you can't see that
- 53:10but. That's just the.
- 53:12The post There you go, that's the shirt which I have.
- 53:17I have a very nice version of that shirt upstairs so.
- 53:22Let me tell you what, this guy did so as a joke, 'cause you
- 53:26guys know he has that wonderful Turkey shirt that I just
- 53:30absolutely love. She knows it's a great shirt.
- 53:34I got it for him for his birthday and I was like, hey, I
- 53:37brought, I bought you this shirt.
- 53:39I thought you could wear it on the cruise.
- 53:41He forgot to pack it. And I could have sworn I saw it
- 53:46packed with his stuff and I should have grabbed it.
- 53:48And I, I should have grabbed it to put it in my backpack to make
- 53:51sure that I had it because I wasn't sure if we were going to
- 53:53get our luggage in time. And I didn't.
- 53:55And I was so frustrated when he didn't pack it because I'm like,
- 54:00we, you know, I'm obviously not. Christina and I, we didn't plan
- 54:04the thing, but we were participating.
- 54:06And the whole thing was that they were both going to wear a
- 54:08shirt. So I was like, Oh my gosh, you
- 54:10know, we were supposed to be participating in this.
- 54:13And now Lawrence is going to be left out.
- 54:15So we get to the atrium and and what?
- 54:21When did you realize that it was a thing?
- 54:25I think as soon as we got off the elevator there were like 2
- 54:28guys walking right and you were like oh look, nice shirt.
- 54:31I was like, oh. So like when we.
- 54:34Saw like the bigger number of people.
- 54:36I said to him, because I asked him before we left the room.
- 54:39I was like, hey, where's your shirt?
- 54:40You should put it on. And he's like, oh, I forgot it.
- 54:43And I was like, oh, OK. And, and we get to the bottom to
- 54:49the atrium, and when we start seeing a lot of the the men
- 54:52wearing the shirts, I was like, Oh, yeah, by the way, you were
- 54:54supposed to be a part of that prank.
- 54:55Yeah. The shirt that you were wearing
- 54:58was similar enough you could have snuck in the photo, yeah.
- 55:00Right, but in in exchange though, I was wearing my Dizpod
- 55:05hoodie. So I was I was representing the
- 55:09Dizpod was that was that. Was that the day that that we
- 55:12almost that we almost got knocked off of the shit?
- 55:17Oh my goodness. Yeah, dude.
- 55:20Let's talk about that. So, so the cruise ship is
- 55:28amazing. It's built well.
- 55:30However, when there's rough winds, stuff happens.
- 55:34And we were, we were going through one of the doors and
- 55:38there's an exterior door before you get onto the deck.
- 55:41And then there's an interior door where you go into the to 1
- 55:44into the inside. And so in between there they
- 55:47would create a wind tunnel. And as we were coming out, one
- 55:50of those doors was kind of stuck.
- 55:52So I'm pushing it open and the inside door, it's glass, it's a
- 55:56glass door. And the frame broke and the
- 56:00glass was falling out of it. So imagine this large pane of
- 56:03glass with this huge gust of wind totally destroying the
- 56:08door. And it was, it was headed
- 56:11towards Cat and Finley. And it was like, uh oh, what's
- 56:14happening here? And so I don't know what
- 56:18happened now. I don't know how it broke, you
- 56:19know. Well, it broke by the wind.
- 56:21But. But that was one of the things
- 56:23when we were like, oh, my God. Like, you know, one day.
- 56:26Day two of his cruise. Yeah.
- 56:28Day one. Yeah, yeah.
- 56:30Day one, yeah. I could click glass from falling
- 56:33out, hurting somebody. It was heavy.
- 56:35And then Lawrence and I moved it away, you know, because it just
- 56:39would have stayed there. And you know, I mean, so yes, we
- 56:42saved, we saved everybody on the ship for that emergency.
- 56:48Everybody. But so it's funny because I
- 56:51thought, I thought when I heard the noise, because Nick and I
- 56:54were already on the deck, Finley and and Catherine were behind
- 56:57us. When I heard the noise, I
- 56:58thought it was like a sign that fell.
- 57:00So like big deals. I turned around and I didn't see
- 57:03it and I'm like, what's that on the floor?
- 57:04And I thought it was the sine frame.
- 57:06Then I realized it's like the the rubber gasket from around
- 57:10the door, the glass of the door. So yeah.
- 57:21So those so we attended that went to go look at it.
- 57:27And they're taking pictures of it.
- 57:28It was it was that's the craziest thing that that's
- 57:33happened in a in a while. But you know, luckily it wasn't
- 57:38any worse. But All in all, phenomenal trip
- 57:44would certainly do it again. We went to Cozumel, Mexico.
- 57:47We saw we went to a planetarium, we did a we did a tour.
- 57:52These guys went Hang Gliding with a dolphin or something.
- 57:55I don't know. What did you guys do?
- 57:57We did some scuba diving. Snorkel.
- 57:59We did some snorkeling. I wanted to hit up a jet ski,
- 58:02but are so the excursions you either have to travel out if
- 58:06let's say you're in Mexico and Cosmo, you got to travel out to
- 58:08get some good excursions and some good prices.
- 58:11Castaway Key, it's a nice little island, but the excursions there
- 58:16that you would do the jet skiing and stuff like that, it's
- 58:18actually pretty pricey. So, so just be be aware of that.
- 58:23But yeah, we just went out on our own and did our thing.
- 58:26Yeah, So that's a castaway tea. We, we, I mean, look at that
- 58:30water like you don't get water like that here in the States.
- 58:33Saw. Fish only, did you hear?
- 58:35Finley screaming at one point we saw fish.
- 58:38It was it was huge. It was like, at least like huge
- 58:45and. You're going to need a sense of
- 58:46Finley. Because there were like a bunch
- 58:47of little ones around, like a whole little university of fish.
- 58:50There were so many of them just running around everywhere.
- 58:54And then this fish came, and it was.
- 58:56Huge. At least you know, like this
- 58:58big. So I said to Finley, wow, look
- 59:01at this big fish. And she goes and she just starts
- 59:05screaming and I'm like, please stop.
- 59:10It's fine. It's it's going away from you
- 59:13and she's just freaking out. And then after that, she didn't
- 59:16want to get in the water again for a good while.
- 59:19Yeah. But it was.
- 59:25So the good thing is Castaway Key, Lookout Key, those are both
- 59:28Disney islands. So you're still going to get
- 59:31that same Disney feel, that same Disney service cleanliness there
- 59:37at those islands. And they're included in your
- 59:39cruise. So you don't have to go, you
- 59:42know, Hang Gliding with dolphins or whatever they did.
- 59:46You know, we did. We did a glass bottom boat tour
- 59:50which was very nice. Fish swimming, you know, you
- 59:54could see everything. They did a great job of teaching
- 59:57you about the Bahamas and all that.
- 59:59So you don't even have to do that.
- 1:00:02You could stay on the boat when you dock and go and take in, you
- 1:00:06know, a movie or this or that. It was, it was really nice.
- 1:00:11One of the other things we Nick talked about Pixie dust.
- 1:00:14One of the other big things is decorating your door.
- 1:00:16You got to do it. You got to do it.
- 1:00:19I did not realize how big a thing it was until we got onto
- 1:00:21the ship. I also didn't realize that the
- 1:00:23thing that you're putting. So let me show this one.
- 1:00:26So this is, this is Catherine's door, right?
- 1:00:31And the, the pockets there on the right.
- 1:00:34I didn't realize that it's called a fish extender.
- 1:00:37And I'm like, why do they call it a fish extender?
- 1:00:40So I had to look it up and it is simply called a fish extender
- 1:00:43because as as you can see, it's hooked onto a fish that's part
- 1:00:47of the boat. That's all it is.
- 1:00:49It's it's made for that and. From the fish.
- 1:00:52Yeah, that's all it is. So that was not.
- 1:00:54Always a. Fish No, no, it does it does
- 1:00:56change so that was that was our door and then this was their
- 1:01:02door. So they themed to to monsters.
- 1:01:06So every day you'd go by and Finley love going into the the
- 1:01:13pouches and finding, you know, little.
- 1:01:16So you can see even in this picture, it's it's full of
- 1:01:18stuff. So people are always doing stuff
- 1:01:20there. And you know how I like to do
- 1:01:22the pins and and the key chains and stuff like that in the
- 1:01:27parks. So the next cruise I will be
- 1:01:30buying plenty of that stuff to do that.
- 1:01:32Have a list of things that I'm going to be making to give away
- 1:01:36on our cruise as Pixie dusting and some people they had like
- 1:01:43take one leave one for like lollipops or pins and for pin
- 1:01:49trading it was great it was some people went all out it was
- 1:01:52fantastic that. Doesn't work too well though if
- 1:01:55you go. A lot of people have been
- 1:01:57complaining, so if you attempt to take one, leave one.
- 1:02:01The honest system isn't so honest.
- 1:02:05I thought about that, but. With lollipops it wasn't too
- 1:02:07bad. The lollipops, no big deal, but
- 1:02:09like if you do the pin trading, but that's an issue at the parks
- 1:02:12as well, People will just take the pens without trading.
- 1:02:16I know on our Facebook group, there's a particular guy, he
- 1:02:21brought up an awareness that people were literally taking
- 1:02:25what others had gifted him as a Pixie dust.
- 1:02:29And he said that he spotted a little girl and she was just
- 1:02:32going by each door, taking whatever she wanted out of their
- 1:02:36pouches. And of course, reported it.
- 1:02:38And they, you know, told her whatever they told her.
- 1:02:40But there's an issue where, you know, if someone decided to gift
- 1:02:44you, kids are kids, you know, sometimes I don't know if they
- 1:02:48just don't know the rules or whatnot, but they do take, you
- 1:02:52know, your stuff. So the honest system isn't
- 1:02:54always honest, But otherwise it worked great.
- 1:02:58So let me cover 2 quick questions here.
- 1:03:04Steven, Tony asked, did you have rough seas due to the hurricane?
- 1:03:09So of course it's Disney. Of course you've got, you know,
- 1:03:124000 of us on board. They made sure that we were 230
- 1:03:19nautical miles from the storm at all times.
- 1:03:24So they, they weren't messing around.
- 1:03:26If they had to redirect us somewhere to get away from the
- 1:03:28storm, they were going to do that.
- 1:03:31Did that did cause a little bit of rough seas leaving Mexico
- 1:03:36because the pilot had foot to the metal pedal to the metal
- 1:03:41getting out of Mexico to keep us away from the storm, to get us
- 1:03:45where we needed to go. So that night you could feel the
- 1:03:49boat moving. But other than, excuse me, other
- 1:03:52than that. Respond well to that night.
- 1:03:54We had to get drama mean and she was out until 10:00 the next
- 1:03:57day. Yeah, she slept through dinner.
- 1:03:59But other than that, it was really comp like.
- 1:04:02When we pulled out of the port the first night, I didn't even
- 1:04:07realize we were moving. Finley was like.
- 1:04:09I knew I got so. Sick.
- 1:04:12Oh, did you I? Did not.
- 1:04:13Do that. Oh, wow, no, I, I Finley said.
- 1:04:16Are we moving? And I'm like, no, you would have
- 1:04:17known it. They would have told you.
- 1:04:19There would have been announcements.
- 1:04:20You would feel it good. For you guys, because I felt
- 1:04:24everything. Oh.
- 1:04:27I mean, look, when even when we came back from the cruise, like
- 1:04:30I, I think I just told you the other day, I stopped swaying
- 1:04:33just randomly. You're just like in the shower.
- 1:04:36You close your eyes, you're like, why am I swaying?
- 1:04:38Because it it it, but it gave me a cozy family.
- 1:04:42It was like I want to go back. Corey, did you have that with,
- 1:04:46with, with when you got home? Did you have like, I guess they
- 1:04:49call that the Sea Lights, right? I think we did.
- 1:04:53I think we did. I think Tammy was the worst but
- 1:04:57not too bad. I don't, I don't think I that
- 1:04:58happened to me, but. And I know, I know with your
- 1:05:01cruise, you were, you were worried about, I think mostly
- 1:05:04about Tammy because she she she doesn't do as well with like
- 1:05:08rides and stuff like that. So what did you prepare?
- 1:05:12You know, how did you prepare just in case?
- 1:05:16She we we took on a an electronic wristband for her to
- 1:05:22try to use. She didn't feel like that really
- 1:05:24helped her. We had a couple of rough moments
- 1:05:27too and you know, it bothered her a little bit, maybe
- 1:05:33moderately a couple of times, but ultimately I I think she did
- 1:05:39fine. I think I might have taken my C
- 1:05:42bands with me and we did have the things to put behind your
- 1:05:47ear as. Well, let me try.
- 1:05:48Those we tried those, they may have worked because it wasn't as
- 1:05:52bad as we thought it was going to be overall as a trip.
- 1:05:56But you know, so they may have worked.
- 1:06:00They may have worked to some degree, you know, would have
- 1:06:02been worse if we didn't have them.
- 1:06:03Maybe. So no way to tell for sure, but
- 1:06:06there were moments. There were moments too.
- 1:06:07I was like, oh God, I don't feel so great when we.
- 1:06:10So apparently when you leave Port Canaveral, that's when
- 1:06:13waters are pretty rough and they had port windows when we were
- 1:06:19going to dinner the first night and the the waves were covering
- 1:06:23half the port window and just doing this, I'm like, we are
- 1:06:27just going like a speed boat right now.
- 1:06:29I'm like, oh boy, I hope it's not going to be like this the
- 1:06:32whole time, but it's best the day it sees beautiful though,
- 1:06:36isn't it? It's just.
- 1:06:37Just amazing. Doesn't even move.
- 1:06:40The boat doesn't even move around the.
- 1:06:41Room in your last cruise? Yes, OK, we did.
- 1:06:46We had coffee every morning on the Miranda enjoyed that.
- 1:06:52Missed. Out dude.
- 1:06:54So Tammy said, Tammy said I did and Jill too.
- 1:06:57So I don't know what anything Jill did or experienced.
- 1:07:00She said the patches work better.
- 1:07:02There was one thing. Though that you.
- 1:07:04That you mentioned about the storm that I wanted to to point
- 1:07:07out is don't be too set in with your plans because originally
- 1:07:16Pirate night was supposed to be on my birthday.
- 1:07:19So I had planned for my birthday outfit to also coincide really
- 1:07:24well with my pirate outfit. And then they changed the days
- 1:07:29and it was on a different day. So now not only did I not have
- 1:07:35something to wear on either day 'cause if I wore it on one day,
- 1:07:37then I obviously couldn't wear it the next day.
- 1:07:41But now I have nothing to wear on my birthday.
- 1:07:44Like I underpacked. Believe it, I underpacked.
- 1:07:48That's what I was thinking. It's your birthday.
- 1:07:50Birthday suit. And I did find something that I
- 1:07:53like. My friend let me in last minute.
- 1:07:54I was like, sure, I'll bring this.
- 1:07:56Thank God I brought it because that's what I wore.
- 1:07:59But I underpacked. People were always talking about
- 1:08:02how they overpack and I didn't pack until two days before we
- 1:08:06left. I was so stressed out that I at
- 1:08:10the end I was just like, whatever, I'm just bringing
- 1:08:12this, this, that and that's it. And I brought exactly what we
- 1:08:16needed for exactly the days for exactly the the events and I
- 1:08:22under packed. You know, you wake up in the
- 1:08:24morning, you might be walking around and like not pajamas, but
- 1:08:27some people did, but you might be just walking around like AT
- 1:08:31shirt and shorts. But then later you'll go
- 1:08:33swimming and you'll change into something else or you'll go meet
- 1:08:36the princesses and you don't want to wear AT shirt and shorts
- 1:08:38with the princesses, you want to wear something nicer or you want
- 1:08:41to change for dinner. So you could have 3 outfits a
- 1:08:43day and I did not have 3 outfits a day so I under packed.
- 1:08:51Wow, that's something I would ever do.
- 1:08:53I thought you would just whip out the sewing machine.
- 1:08:55It's material. I should.
- 1:08:56Have just brought. My sewing machine, but I don't
- 1:08:58think that the plug would have worked.
- 1:08:59That's and also you can't bring an iron, so I wouldn't have been
- 1:09:03able to iron those shirts, you know?
- 1:09:05That's true. Tammy said that Jill and she and
- 1:09:08she and Jill swayed a bit after getting home.
- 1:09:11And Sharon Hecker says that Catherine loses her girl card
- 1:09:14because she she over she underpacked.
- 1:09:18Yeah, Christine always overpacks and I'm like, why do we need.
- 1:09:22We had like literally what, 2 suitcases full of our costume
- 1:09:26stuff? Yeah.
- 1:09:27And her ears to the point where when we were leaving we had like
- 1:09:306 bags and the guy leaving was like, did you guys go on triple
- 1:09:33vacation? Yeah, I guess.
- 1:09:37SO2 attendance and yeah. They cracked jokes at everything
- 1:09:40we brought. I could have lent you something,
- 1:09:42Cat. I had plenty.
- 1:09:44Yes, we totally wear the same size.
- 1:09:46Finley wants to say hello. Hi, Finley.
- 1:09:49Finley, did you enjoy the cruise?
- 1:09:50Do you want to do it again? Yes, all right.
- 1:09:54Cool, let's go tomorrow. Kids club, right?
- 1:09:58All right, so the kids club is actually pretty.
- 1:10:01Cool. Tony asked about the the kids
- 1:10:03club and well, you mentioned that a lot of times kids don't
- 1:10:06want to leave and they're he's right.
- 1:10:08The kids club stays open till midnight.
- 1:10:11I think it opens at 9:00 and it stays open till midnight.
- 1:10:14And your kids can come and go as as they want to.
- 1:10:18Well, let me not say it that way.
- 1:10:20You have to check them in and out of the kids club.
- 1:10:25But I'll also say this, there's some sort of food until
- 1:10:29midnight. There's also room service 24/7.
- 1:10:36There is also some sort of entertainment until midnight,
- 1:10:39especially if you're a teen or an adult.
- 1:10:44Like even right up until midnight, we had the the two
- 1:10:49game shows. There was one called Majority
- 1:10:51Wins and then the other one was like the dating game.
- 1:10:55So even that went in. That was in the lounge or the
- 1:10:57bar up until midnight, and there's a lounge that's open
- 1:11:01till 2:00 AM. So even though it's Disney,
- 1:11:04there's still stuff to do all the time.
- 1:11:08We had bingo. Somebody who's on top of
- 1:11:10Warren's desk. Yeah, he's he's.
- 1:11:12About to so. So there's always, there's
- 1:11:20always stuff to do. So, so don't feel like you can't
- 1:11:24be entertained just by staying on the ship, even if it was a,
- 1:11:28you know, a six or seven night. So all that said, 6. 7 Finley.
- 1:11:356-7 All that said, I am excited because I did there were there
- 1:11:41were two things I'll leave you with one buy the whatever it's
- 1:11:47called the photo pass version for the cruise before you get on
- 1:11:50the cruise because you're going to take all those pictures and.
- 1:11:54You're going to want. Them and you're going to want
- 1:11:56them. We took over 100 pictures just
- 1:11:58us and then however many they took on on their room.
- 1:12:02So make sure to buy it beforehand because it is cheaper
- 1:12:06#2 when you before you leave, you can do the placeholder,
- 1:12:14which is a $250 deposit on your next cruise and it gives you 10%
- 1:12:18off of whatever the Disney cruise.com rate is at that time.
- 1:12:23Our neighbors across the street did it.
- 1:12:24They saved $1000 on their next cruise.
- 1:12:27Yeah, yeah. So we have our placeholder
- 1:12:30deposit down. Nick has done it because right
- 1:12:36now the plan is for us to be on a cruise ship on August 5th.
- 1:12:42Is that us? Is that our date?
- 1:12:44Is. That our date.
- 1:12:45Go fantasy. Let us go.
- 1:12:48But sorry, we're going to, we're going to get a, a veranda room.
- 1:12:52Yeah, we'll probably have to do a veranda room.
- 1:12:54Don't feel guilty because Tammy's feeling Tammy's itching
- 1:12:57inching me towards that as well so.
- 1:13:00What's the what's the upgrade rate come next door to US?
- 1:13:02606 hundred bucks. It might be worth it.
- 1:13:08Think about it. We'll.
- 1:13:09Finally have coffee there. Yeah, and we can have coffee if
- 1:13:12we if Lawrence doesn't join you, I'll join you for coffee can.
- 1:13:16So that, that that's 50 by the way, Christina was saying, yeah,
- 1:13:20it's refundable. So so you can get right back if
- 1:13:23you want. Correct.
- 1:13:24You have, what, three years? 2 two years to use it.
- 1:13:26Two years to use. It and how much is the photo
- 1:13:28packet going for it? Oh good, I'm old now, Corey.
- 1:13:33I got. You.
- 1:13:35I always what was that like 3. 100 Oh, the grades, yeah, I
- 1:13:41think it was. Too much 300.
- 1:13:43On the ship, it's a. Little pricey.
- 1:13:44I think it's 2:40 if you get it beforehand.
- 1:13:48So try and try and get it beforehand and you cannot split
- 1:13:52them and kind of share them like friends and family like you can
- 1:13:56in the parks. They how much?
- 1:13:58Like I think it's like 240 but it's 240 while on.
- 1:14:04The boat. That that's unlimited though.
- 1:14:06You can, but you can choose like, I don't know if you want
- 1:14:08like 10 digital prints, I think it's like 160 or something like
- 1:14:12that. And then it's 15 digital prints.
- 1:14:15Then there's also printed prints if you want it and the price
- 1:14:17goes up. So we just said, let's just get
- 1:14:18the unlimited. We're not going to be able to
- 1:14:20choose 10 or 15. Just get the whole thing.
- 1:14:23And then what we were able to do was I think we, we purchased
- 1:14:26ours and Lawrence, you got a discount.
- 1:14:28So you can do that. If you make friends with
- 1:14:30somebody and they they didn't purchase it, you both could
- 1:14:33purchase it and and it would be cheaper.
- 1:14:36So Sharon makes a good point. If you have rooms that are next
- 1:14:38to each other that have verandas, the wall in between
- 1:14:41the verandas come down and then you have this nice big veranda,
- 1:14:45correct? I wish we did that, yeah.
- 1:14:47OK, did you find it? I got one more question before
- 1:14:51we get out of here. Yep, with the photo package
- 1:14:53unlimited, did you find it hard to get enough pictures to make
- 1:14:57it worth your while? So let me answer that.
- 1:15:00No, they have people taking you pictures everywhere.
- 1:15:04There was literally a cast member with his pants rolled up
- 1:15:09walking in the water at Castaway Key taking pictures of families.
- 1:15:13And I called Lawrence over and I was like, come on, take a
- 1:15:15picture. What were you saying to me?
- 1:15:16I don't know. He was, he was far, so I didn't
- 1:15:18understand what he was saying. I was sleeping.
- 1:15:21When you were young. No, no, I have my glasses.
- 1:15:25I have my my sunglasses on. So you didn't know, but I was
- 1:15:28sleeping. So when you called me, I had you
- 1:15:31woke me up by calling me. So I I was not all there.
- 1:15:35Yeah, So they come, they're they're a castaway key, taking
- 1:15:37pictures of people literally, literally in the water.
- 1:15:40They come to dinner and they take a picture of you at dinner.
- 1:15:44They I believe they take pictures of the kids at Kids
- 1:15:47Club. Oh, OK.
- 1:15:50They didn't take pictures of you guys with the princesses.
- 1:15:53But but at the at the character meet and greets, they're going
- 1:15:56to be there. They're.
- 1:15:57There at the character meet. Pirate Pirate night was was big.
- 1:16:00They also. Have picture backdrops so even
- 1:16:04if the character's not there, you can still do a picture
- 1:16:06backdrop and there's tons of photo opportunities and it's a
- 1:16:11great thing if you just want pictures of your family for your
- 1:16:14trip. I know that with Disney, it's
- 1:16:16it's about the rides and things like that, but when you're on
- 1:16:20the ship, it's it's it's great. I mean, on my birthday, I was
- 1:16:24walking around, I woke up early, I was walking around, I went and
- 1:16:27I got coffee and I was I had just gotten off the phone with
- 1:16:30my coworkers. I'm walking down the hallway and
- 1:16:32there's a line. There was like 2-3 people.
- 1:16:35It was Donald. So I had a whole interaction
- 1:16:37with It was actually a fantastic.
- 1:16:38I was just the lady had taken the video.
- 1:16:40It was a fantastic interaction with Donald.
- 1:16:43So we. We were, yeah.
- 1:16:45They're only going to be there for like 15 to 20 minutes.
- 1:16:48Yeah, yeah, the characters don't stay long, so get online early,
- 1:16:53yeah. So overall great experience.
- 1:16:57This was Halloween on the high seas, so your experience will be
- 1:17:01a little different when it isn't, but it was it was
- 1:17:04certainly worth it. I will tell any of you Disney
- 1:17:07folks go on a Disney cruise. You will not be disappointed.
- 1:17:11I don't care what what cruise you're on.
- 1:17:14We happen to pick this one because of the timing.
- 1:17:16So make it. It will be worth your while for
- 1:17:20sure. Yes, to celebrate my 40th I
- 1:17:22don't look a day over 55. On that note, thank you all for
- 1:17:32joining us, Nick and Christina, I appreciate you being here.
- 1:17:36Thank you, Catherine. Finley thank you.
- 1:17:39Really, really good. Good episode full of good
- 1:17:42information. And let me tell you, this is the
- 1:17:44first Disney Cruise podcast that we will be having.
- 1:17:48We will be having a lot more the cost.
- 1:17:49Of money on the road to Pearl. That's right.
- 1:17:52That's right. Because now we're a castaway
- 1:17:54club member. Silver, Yeah.
- 1:17:59There you go, and Nick will have to make sure at least one night
- 1:18:02we all sit down on crowd up on the bed and watch the Mickey
- 1:18:05shorts at one in the. Morning.
- 1:18:06I'm with it. Yes, I'm with it.
- 1:18:09Cruz Bros. Cruz Bros.
- 1:18:10Cruz Bros. Cruz.
- 1:18:12Bros, do we need shirts? These shirts.
- 1:18:16These. Shirts.
- 1:18:17I'll be the shirts. Ask me how much fabric am I
- 1:18:19buying for the next cruise? I said all of it.
- 1:18:23I'm gonna be prepared. I'm overpack.
- 1:18:25Overpack Oversell. There you go.
- 1:18:28I already started, I really did. So those of you that are members
- 1:18:33of Skyline and Above for living in Dizz, you can join us on the
- 1:18:36Zoom call. We know we are late, but we had
- 1:18:39a lot of stuff to cover. Thank you all very much for
- 1:18:43joining us, Corey. I will give you the final word.
- 1:18:48Final word is this. I'm so glad for all of you.
- 1:18:51I was so excited for you to all have such a great time and it
- 1:18:54was glad. It was nice to sit back and
- 1:18:56listen to all of that with your first, your first experience.
- 1:18:59I know I haven't done a Disney 1 yet, but do we Just doing the
- 1:19:02Royal last year, I know how great that was.
- 1:19:06We had zero issues. Every moment was great.
- 1:19:10So I was just so excited for everything you guys were about
- 1:19:13to experience from that first vision of pulling up and seeing
- 1:19:16the ship and just feeling the coziness once you're inside and
- 1:19:20just just taking every moment and we you develop your habits
- 1:19:23and things. You know, the atrium became our
- 1:19:26late night living room hangout. You know, it's where we got some
- 1:19:29free slices of pizza at midnight and, and grab some snacks and
- 1:19:33just sat back and people watch. It was, it was a good time and
- 1:19:37you do not get to do everything you think you're going to do.
- 1:19:40We, we, we had moments where I, I worried about the kids would
- 1:19:43be bored and there wasn't even time to even do everything.
- 1:19:46The, the thing I did the least, which I thought I'd have too
- 1:19:49much time doing, was hanging by the pool.
- 1:19:51We really didn't do much of that.
- 1:19:52Us too, yeah. One thing I will not miss
- 1:19:57because Tammy and I are we love nighttime entertainment when
- 1:20:02we're on these kinds of vacations.
- 1:20:04You know, we did a lot of resorts and we love to choose
- 1:20:08resorts to have night time entertainment and I want to see
- 1:20:11all three of those shows. We will not miss this.
- 1:20:13Oh yeah. I can't show their their copy
- 1:20:16written. I can't show them.
- 1:20:18You can't even you can't even take pictures in there.
- 1:20:20But oh, I promise you and. There was a magic show too.
- 1:20:24That Oh yeah, the magic show. Oh.
- 1:20:26My God. He's amazing telling you you
- 1:20:27won't you? You'll love the entertainment
- 1:20:29there right now, all right? Folks awesome.
- 1:20:33All right, well, hey, we do this live because we do it for you
- 1:20:36and we we appreciate each and everyone of you how you watch or
- 1:20:39see us. And once again, you can do it
- 1:20:41right here on the Dizpod channel on its own on YouTube, you can
- 1:20:43do the YouTube Music app. You can do Amazon, iHeartRadio,
- 1:20:47Spotify and Apple as well. So want to thank our guests one
- 1:20:53more time. Love you guys.
- 1:20:54You're all family. You're not even friends.
- 1:20:57And thank you for for everything.
- 1:20:59Tonight was awesome, and for now we're just a couple of Bros
- 1:21:02talking Disney. Good night everyone.
