Transcript
- 0:04SPEAKER_02: European country prepares for mass evacuations of the civilian populace and,
- 0:12SPEAKER_02: also in today's stream,
- 0:13SPEAKER_02: the EU is preparing its military response to Russian hybrid aggression,
- 0:21SPEAKER_02: as they call it.
- 0:23SPEAKER_02: All that and a lot more in today's live stream.
- 0:27SPEAKER_02: We are going to do a lot today.
- 0:29SPEAKER_02: We're going to cover a lot.
- 0:31SPEAKER_02: Everything from those things right the way through.
- 0:34SPEAKER_02: So without further ado, let's jump straight to the shared screen here.
- 0:52SPEAKER_02: Poland and Lithuania are preparing cross-border evacuation plan for the Baltic states.
- 0:59SPEAKER_02: This is fresh off the press, happening right now.
- 1:05SPEAKER_02: Not just for Lithuania, but this also covers, if I pull up the map here.
- 1:11SPEAKER_02: This also covers Latvia and Estonia but Lithuania are doing the exercise with Poland.
- 1:19SPEAKER_02: They're concerned that there's going to be some sort of a Russian incident or from Belarus here.
- 1:25SPEAKER_02: So this is why Lithuania is the spearhead on this working with Poland
- 1:30SPEAKER_02: and it's pretty serious stuff actually what they are talking about
- 1:36SPEAKER_02: because they're trying to figure out how they can do a mass evacuation of Huge,
- 1:42SPEAKER_02: huge numbers of people in effect.
- 1:45SPEAKER_02: So let's go over to some of the key details of the story there.
- 1:49SPEAKER_02: So Poland and Lithuania right now working on an international evacuation plan
- 1:55SPEAKER_02: for civilians in the event that this crisis takes place or the military incursion.
- 2:02SPEAKER_02: So they are confident this is going to happen.
- 2:05SPEAKER_02: It's not a matter of if, it's a matter simply of when.
- 2:09SPEAKER_02: The other thing that the EU leaders are looking at and sort of planning at
- 2:14SPEAKER_02: the moment is similar to what happened with the Ukrainian refugees in
- 2:19SPEAKER_02: that how are they going to take on basically the three Baltic states,
- 2:24SPEAKER_02: how are they going to take on all of these refugees?
- 2:27SPEAKER_02: So they're trying to plan out which countries would take what exactly.
- 2:33SPEAKER_02: So that's the other part of the plan.
- 2:36SPEAKER_02: So this would allow residents of Lithuania,
- 2:39SPEAKER_02: Latvia and Estonia to be moved across the Polish border and into the European Union.
- 2:45SPEAKER_02: The head of Lithuania's National Crisis Management Centre has announced that work on
- 2:50SPEAKER_02: the proposal was already underway and that they were analysing procedures,
- 2:56SPEAKER_02: logistics and infrastructure capacity.
- 3:00SPEAKER_02: These preparations are being carried out as part of Lithuania's exercise right now,
- 3:04SPEAKER_02: their 2026 exercise.
- 3:06SPEAKER_02: It launched just three days ago on the 25th of September
- 3:10SPEAKER_02: and they're testing their national mobilization and institutional cooperation for
- 3:16SPEAKER_02: the upcoming crisis.
- 3:18SPEAKER_02: These drills are going to be running then until the 3rd of October,
- 3:21SPEAKER_02: so five more days, and they have said it's in black and white here.
- 3:27SPEAKER_02: They are testing for the mass evacuation of the population.
- 3:31SPEAKER_02: That is what they've said.
- 3:34SPEAKER_02: It's so weird, isn't it, to be talking about all of these things in 2026.
- 3:40SPEAKER_02: If I'd have talked about this Even five years ago,
- 3:43SPEAKER_02: we'd have all thought this is crazy talk,
- 3:46SPEAKER_02: and yet this is daily on all of the media now.
- 3:49SPEAKER_02: It's all very normal to discuss the evacuation of an entire country and
- 3:57SPEAKER_02: for other countries to be preparing for war.
- 4:00SPEAKER_02: So during this exercise then there's 3,000 officials,
- 4:03SPEAKER_02: officers and all the local authorities taking place as well as delegations
- 4:09SPEAKER_02: from Poland who are there.
- 4:11SPEAKER_02: Poland is involved in work related to planning cross-border evacuation
- 4:17SPEAKER_02: and they've said that they are preparing to receive evacuees.
- 4:22SPEAKER_02: From the Baltic States.
- 4:23SPEAKER_02: In September,
- 4:24SPEAKER_02: representatives from Lithuania and Latvia visited Poland on a research trip focused
- 4:31SPEAKER_02: on this mass evacuation,
- 4:34SPEAKER_02: civil protection and the organization of reception and accommodation of evacuees.
- 4:41SPEAKER_02: So there's a lot of articles.
- 4:43SPEAKER_02: Sometimes I know some of you say, Neil, can you help?
- 4:46SPEAKER_02: Where do I get these articles from?
- 4:49SPEAKER_02: I...
- 4:50SPEAKER_02: Must read 300 to 500 news articles a day.
- 4:55SPEAKER_02: So I sort of go all over the place to find them.
- 5:01SPEAKER_02: Even articles like this, I found this from, this is, you know, I'm not even sure what this is.
- 5:08SPEAKER_02: Is this Latvia, Latvian language?
- 5:11SPEAKER_02: So I found this and then what I did was I got it translated.
- 5:15SPEAKER_02: So I translate the article.
- 5:17SPEAKER_02: So if you're ever curious where I get a lot of this information
- 5:20SPEAKER_02: that you haven't heard,
- 5:21SPEAKER_02: it's because I'm looking in sources that you haven't actually seen.
- 5:27SPEAKER_02: So they have said then that this is their biggest exercise to date and This is
- 5:35SPEAKER_02: a scenario based on present day threats and they're testing how they will act when
- 5:40SPEAKER_02: the security situation deteriorates.
- 5:43SPEAKER_02: This is for energy and communication systems as well.
- 5:47SPEAKER_02: The head of the Crisis Management Centre said it's to prepare for mobilisation of
- 5:54SPEAKER_02: the military and to assess how to evacuate the civilian population.
- 6:01SPEAKER_02: He said there's two key dates that he's watching.
- 6:03SPEAKER_02: One is tomorrow, 29th of September, and the other one is the 3rd of October.
- 6:08SPEAKER_02: The biggest date is tomorrow.
- 6:10SPEAKER_02: This is when they're testing the warning systems,
- 6:13SPEAKER_02: sirens, sending out emergency messages to phones, etc.
- 6:19SPEAKER_02: He said his biggest concern is a military invasion from Belarus.
- 6:26SPEAKER_02: Then the other big one then,
- 6:29SPEAKER_02: this is the 3rd of October,
- 6:31SPEAKER_02: this is the military practicing on the border for an assault in effect.
- 6:37SPEAKER_02: So that is what they are preparing for right now.
- 6:42SPEAKER_02: I guess you've got to just start thinking to yourself, how are you preparing for all of this?
- 6:48SPEAKER_02: I think each of us are preparing in our own ways right now.
- 6:52SPEAKER_02: I know I'm certainly prepared,
- 6:55SPEAKER_02: fully prepared for all of this, but I would ask you, how are you preparing for it?
- 7:01SPEAKER_02: And there's lots of different ways that you've got to prepare,
- 7:05SPEAKER_02: both physically, are you going to be Just doing whatever the government says.
- 7:11SPEAKER_02: If you're in, say, the UK,
- 7:12SPEAKER_02: for example,
- 7:13SPEAKER_02: or one of the European countries, are you just going to go along with it?
- 7:17SPEAKER_02: If they say, right,
- 7:20SPEAKER_02: you're being forced into the military and there's conscription and all
- 7:24SPEAKER_02: the other things that are likely to come later on,
- 7:28SPEAKER_02: or are you planning something alternative?
- 7:30SPEAKER_02: I know a lot of you email me and message and say,
- 7:34SPEAKER_02: You're thinking about alternative residencies and visas and getting work permits.
- 7:40SPEAKER_02: I had a really interesting email from a nurse recently,
- 7:43SPEAKER_02: works in the NHS, UK National Health Service.
- 7:47SPEAKER_02: She's just got a visa because she said she was worried about her
- 7:50SPEAKER_02: and her husband getting, you know, pulled into all this.
- 7:54SPEAKER_02: She's just got a visa.
- 7:55SPEAKER_02: She's going to Australia.
- 7:58SPEAKER_02: To work in Australia.
- 8:00SPEAKER_02: I think everybody's preparing for it differently.
- 8:03SPEAKER_02: One way that I very strongly keep saying that I'm trying to help you with it is
- 8:09SPEAKER_02: with your finances, your income.
- 8:13SPEAKER_02: What are you going to do when that day comes?
- 8:15SPEAKER_02: How are you going to have finances and things?
- 8:19SPEAKER_02: It's quite difficult during conflict.
- 8:21SPEAKER_02: You can download this guide that I put together for you.
- 8:24SPEAKER_02: It's 100% free if you haven't got it yet.
- 8:27SPEAKER_02: This is the Financial Survival Guide.
- 8:30SPEAKER_02: I'll put the link below in the description.
- 8:32SPEAKER_02: You can download this guide, read through all of this.
- 8:35SPEAKER_02: This will really help you with everything coming up.
- 8:39SPEAKER_02: And I'm almost finished a preparedness big bundle.
- 8:44SPEAKER_02: I'm writing probably five to six hours a day at the moment on a Preparedness guide for you.
- 8:50SPEAKER_02: So it's about 11 or 12 guides at the moment.
- 8:53SPEAKER_02: Everything from the generic stuff right through to everything you can think
- 8:59SPEAKER_02: of basically readying you for this situation.
- 9:02SPEAKER_02: So I'll be releasing that soon.
- 9:05SPEAKER_02: And if you're on the email list, I'll let you know as soon as it's ready quite quickly.
- 9:11SPEAKER_02: You'll get access to it fairly quickly.
- 9:14SPEAKER_02: So yeah, download that guide should help you.
- 9:17SPEAKER_02: But I think it's really important you start thinking about and planning for all of this.
- 9:22SPEAKER_02: Now, the next thing I wanted to mention was you've probably seen this video doing
- 9:27SPEAKER_02: the rounds and I think it tells you what is going to be happening.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: You can play the sound.
- 9:36SPEAKER_01: NATO means supporting our Ukrainian friends in times of need.
- 9:44SPEAKER_01: Slavo Ukraine!
- 9:46SPEAKER_02: Now, one thing I want to point out as we go through this video is
- 9:49SPEAKER_02: that everyone's very big on diversity, aren't they?
- 9:55SPEAKER_02: But I was fascinated that everybody in these videos is white.
- 10:00SPEAKER_02: They're Caucasian, as it were, Europeans.
- 10:04SPEAKER_02: I think this was the only guy that wasn't from the whole video.
- 10:07SPEAKER_02: So it sort of tells you where this is leading.
- 10:11SPEAKER_02: I think it's quite clear where this is all going to be going.
- 10:14SPEAKER_02: All these people Talking about how proud they are.
- 10:18SPEAKER_02: They're going to be coming together for this big conflict and for a free society
- 10:26SPEAKER_02: and everything else.
- 10:27SPEAKER_02: It is just gaslighting really what they are.
- 10:30SPEAKER_02: And it goes on and on and on.
- 10:32SPEAKER_02: This just continues on and on and on and on.
- 10:39SPEAKER_02: It's just crazy what we're being subjected to at the moment.
- 10:42SPEAKER_02: It really is.
- 10:43SPEAKER_02: And we've also got this news as well.
- 10:46SPEAKER_02: This came out of Germany, so we actually broke this story a while back, and it's very worrying.
- 10:55SPEAKER_02: But Germany has issued orders to 18-year-old men to undergo
- 10:58SPEAKER_02: a mandatory medical examination for military service.
- 11:02SPEAKER_02: We know this, we talked about it previously.
- 11:04SPEAKER_02: But now we've got protests all around the country,
- 11:08SPEAKER_02: 100 locations, 45,000 students are now protesting this.
- 11:14SPEAKER_02: Because they don't want to be meat for the grinder.
- 11:19SPEAKER_02: Let's talk then about the EU minister's plan for the hybrid threat response.
- 11:25SPEAKER_02: This is another big story for today of everything that is taking place.
- 11:32SPEAKER_02: Here's Kaya as usual.
- 11:34SPEAKER_02: She loves to be in the spotlight, doesn't she?
- 11:37SPEAKER_02: Always making these huge announcements that are, well, Just weird and everything else.
- 11:46SPEAKER_02: So this is taking place right now, today.
- 11:50SPEAKER_02: As we speak,
- 11:51SPEAKER_02: this meeting has already kicked off and it's their foreign ministers meeting
- 11:56SPEAKER_02: to strengthen the bloc's response to hybrid attacks.
- 12:00SPEAKER_02: She, Kaya Callas,
- 12:01SPEAKER_02: has warned that Russia is planning further sabotage across Europe and that we need
- 12:07SPEAKER_02: to have a military,
- 12:09SPEAKER_02: yes, she did use the word Military response ready with or without the USA.
- 12:17SPEAKER_02: So they are having this meeting right now.
- 12:19SPEAKER_02: They are discussing their emergency security protocol designed
- 12:23SPEAKER_02: to help member states coordinate their responses quickly when the threat is
- 12:29SPEAKER_02: upon them.
- 12:30SPEAKER_02: We need to be vigilant because we see in the intelligence
- 12:33SPEAKER_02: that Russia is planning more sabotage attacks.
- 12:36SPEAKER_02: That's what she said.
- 12:38SPEAKER_02: She said such attacks were aimed at European democracy,
- 12:42SPEAKER_02: seeking to divide communities and intimidate them into withdrawing their support
- 12:46SPEAKER_02: for Ukraine.
- 12:48SPEAKER_02: Now,
- 12:49SPEAKER_02: this also links to the State of the European Union speech that was in Strasbourg
- 12:57SPEAKER_02: in mid-September.
- 12:58SPEAKER_02: Where she said that they're going to create a new security structure
- 13:02SPEAKER_02: that could be triggered by a member state when a hybrid threat is identified.
- 13:07SPEAKER_02: So I should probably just mention that because I think a lot
- 13:10SPEAKER_02: of people still don't understand what is meant by that.
- 13:14SPEAKER_02: So it was quite vague but when you read into some of the documents around it.
- 13:20SPEAKER_02: It's very clear to me that what they're looking to do is to create
- 13:26SPEAKER_02: a military response that would sit outside of Article 5.
- 13:33SPEAKER_02: So let me give you an example.
- 13:35SPEAKER_02: There is some sort of an incident,
- 13:38SPEAKER_02: like we almost had a big incident overnight, didn't we, with the RAF base.
- 13:43SPEAKER_02: I'm not going to talk about that in today's video because It's all over
- 13:47SPEAKER_02: the mainstream media,
- 13:48SPEAKER_02: and I think every commentator and their dog is talking about it.
- 13:51SPEAKER_02: So I'm not gonna...
- 13:53SPEAKER_02: I mean, there's not much more I can add.
- 13:55SPEAKER_02: There's a couple of weird things I noticed,
- 13:57SPEAKER_02: but there's not much more I can add to what people are saying,
- 14:01SPEAKER_02: but I think we'll get more details in the coming days.
- 14:03SPEAKER_02: But it was interesting,
- 14:04SPEAKER_02: wasn't it,
- 14:05SPEAKER_02: how the Prime Minister said,
- 14:07SPEAKER_02: even though you've got an image,
- 14:08SPEAKER_02: and it was a clear image,
- 14:10SPEAKER_02: some of the media blurred it, but you've got a clear image of these guys.
- 14:14SPEAKER_02: Clear image.
- 14:15SPEAKER_02: And he said he doesn't want to speculate over the motives as to,
- 14:19SPEAKER_02: you know, what these men were doing or who they were.
- 14:23SPEAKER_02: And yet,
- 14:25SPEAKER_02: did you see the interview about Danny,
- 14:27SPEAKER_02: who is in prison right now for slashing the empty dinghy somewhere on the border
- 14:36SPEAKER_02: between France and Britain, which...
- 14:41SPEAKER_02: For criminal damage,
- 14:42SPEAKER_02: and I'm glad a lot of people have picked up on this,
- 14:44SPEAKER_02: that if it's criminal damage, well, who owns the boat?
- 14:48SPEAKER_02: I think that's what they're going to get caught out on this, but it's a circus anyway.
- 14:53SPEAKER_02: And the Prime Minister was very quick to say that it was a racist attack.
- 14:57SPEAKER_02: Him slashing an empty dinghy.
- 15:00SPEAKER_02: I mean, you can't.
- 15:02SPEAKER_02: It's a clown world that we're living in now.
- 15:05SPEAKER_02: We really are living in this bizarre reality.
- 15:10SPEAKER_02: Truly, truly.
- 15:12SPEAKER_02: And we'll talk a bit more about what they've just announced in the UK as well in this video.
- 15:18SPEAKER_02: But this is what I think is going to be taking place.
- 15:21SPEAKER_02: They're going to be using this as an excuse.
- 15:25SPEAKER_02: So coming back to the example, let's say that there is some sort of an incident.
- 15:29SPEAKER_02: And they instantly point the finger, which is what they did at the RAF base.
- 15:33SPEAKER_02: They pointed the finger right away on the BBC.
- 15:35SPEAKER_02: They said this was Russia who did it.
- 15:38SPEAKER_02: And now they've got more intel.
- 15:39SPEAKER_02: They're saying, oh, actually, it could have been Iran that did it.
- 15:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah, or it could have just been these radical guys who have come in on dinghies,
- 15:46SPEAKER_02: or maybe they even live in the country, right?
- 15:49SPEAKER_02: Who knows?
- 15:50SPEAKER_02: They've just got some radical guys that were going to do this incident.
- 15:53SPEAKER_02: It could be any of those things.
- 15:54SPEAKER_02: But they jump into conclusions right away, thinking they all know what's going on.
- 16:00SPEAKER_02: So let's say there is an incident,
- 16:01SPEAKER_02: and the US,
- 16:02SPEAKER_02: for example, says, look,
- 16:04SPEAKER_02: we don't know,
- 16:05SPEAKER_02: there isn't enough information and intel here to say that this was Russia,
- 16:10SPEAKER_02: so we're going to just hold fire.
- 16:12SPEAKER_02: Well, I think that's why Ursula has now created this new measure,
- 16:16SPEAKER_02: because this new measure says, well, we don't have to wait on Article 5 anymore.
- 16:22SPEAKER_02: If we verify this threat, then we can militarily move.
- 16:27SPEAKER_02: And I think that's what this is all about.
- 16:30SPEAKER_02: Let's go on to the next point there.
- 16:34SPEAKER_02: And this is actually,
- 16:35SPEAKER_02: US and Poland are very close to a deal for an American base with 10,000 troops.
- 16:42SPEAKER_02: And it's not just this American base with 10,000 troops in Poland,
- 16:47SPEAKER_02: but they also want to deploy,
- 16:51SPEAKER_02: this was announced,
- 16:51SPEAKER_02: by the way,
- 16:52SPEAKER_02: on Thursday,
- 16:53SPEAKER_02: just a few days ago,
- 16:55SPEAKER_02: But they also want to deploy 7,000 troops to Lithuania and Estonia.
- 17:03SPEAKER_02: So again, coming back to the map a second here, there is Lithuania and there's Estonia.
- 17:10SPEAKER_02: So you would basically have them in these two countries as well as Poland.
- 17:16SPEAKER_02: So that's what Trump has mentioned that he would like to do.
- 17:20SPEAKER_02: He'd like to move US troops there as well.
- 17:25SPEAKER_02: He said, we want the kind of US... Who's this?
- 17:29SPEAKER_02: Okay, this is from the Council on Foreign Relations.
- 17:33SPEAKER_02: He said, we want the kind of US presence that would reassure us but not be threatening.
- 17:38SPEAKER_02: He said, we hope President Trump keeps the promise that he has made to this effect.
- 17:47SPEAKER_02: We also had this.
- 17:48SPEAKER_02: This was out of Reuters.
- 17:50SPEAKER_02: This was the...
- 17:52SPEAKER_02: European need decisive change in defence effort to face Russian threat, the EU agency said.
- 17:59SPEAKER_02: So they actually commissioned this big report then,
- 18:03SPEAKER_02: and the summary was the European Union is not rearming quickly or effectively enough
- 18:09SPEAKER_02: to meet its goal of being ready to,
- 18:12SPEAKER_02: let's change that word, fight,
- 18:15SPEAKER_02: or whatever,
- 18:16SPEAKER_02: against Russia by 2030,
- 18:18SPEAKER_02: because you know it's not going to be defensive, it will be attacking.
- 18:22SPEAKER_02: According to the executive summary of an EU report prepared for the bloc's leaders,
- 18:27SPEAKER_02: the European Defence Agency said in its first annual Defence Readiness Report,
- 18:31SPEAKER_02: that's what they have stated,
- 18:34SPEAKER_02: tackling the challenges of a contested and deteriorating security environment and
- 18:39SPEAKER_02: the threat posed by Russia's aggression requires moving further
- 18:44SPEAKER_02: and substantially faster than now to reach Defence Readiness by 2030.
- 18:53SPEAKER_02: So it's quite clear to me,
- 18:54SPEAKER_02: please leave a comment below,
- 18:55SPEAKER_02: it's quite clear to me what they are planning for and expecting.
- 19:01SPEAKER_02: They also said,
- 19:02SPEAKER_02: however,
- 19:02SPEAKER_02: the current momentum and increased investment does not translate
- 19:06SPEAKER_02: into sufficiently deployable,
- 19:09SPEAKER_02: sustainable and interoperable forces while critical capability gaps remain.
- 19:16SPEAKER_02: They said that enough isn't being done and they're going to need to ramp this up.
- 19:20SPEAKER_02: So things are going to speed up is what they are saying.
- 19:25SPEAKER_02: Another EU story, let's shift very slightly into energy now there.
- 19:30SPEAKER_02: The EU tells countries to curb energy demand as gas prices face winter squeeze.
- 19:37SPEAKER_02: This is exactly what I have been predicting would take place, and here we are.
- 19:44SPEAKER_02: So they've said although the EU is not facing immediate gas shortages,
- 19:49SPEAKER_02: I debate that,
- 19:50SPEAKER_02: but Energy Commissioner Warned capitals that soaring prices driven
- 19:56SPEAKER_02: by rising global demand could lead to shortages as winter approaches.
- 20:01SPEAKER_02: So that is what they have warned of right now.
- 20:06SPEAKER_02: So he says that the EU government,
- 20:08SPEAKER_02: so that's each countries within the EU, needs to curb their energy demand.
- 20:13SPEAKER_02: He said it needs to continue to curb the energy demand to reduce gas
- 20:19SPEAKER_02: and electricity consumption.
- 20:21SPEAKER_02: Because there just isn't storage capacity or there's no capacity within the storage.
- 20:27SPEAKER_02: He said,
- 20:27SPEAKER_02: I invite you to consider taking or continuing to take measures
- 20:31SPEAKER_02: that can sustain injections or reduce gas and electricity demand for as long
- 20:36SPEAKER_02: as necessary.
- 20:38SPEAKER_02: Noting that the situation has not improved since his warning in March.
- 20:44SPEAKER_02: So that was six months ago.
- 20:46SPEAKER_02: He said that things would improve, but he gave everyone a warning.
- 20:49SPEAKER_02: We talked about it on the channel.
- 20:51SPEAKER_02: He said, if it isn't improved by X date, then we're in big trouble.
- 20:55SPEAKER_02: Well, we're at that date now.
- 20:57SPEAKER_02: We're six months later.
- 20:58SPEAKER_02: We're going into winter and the situation hasn't improved.
- 21:04SPEAKER_02: In fact, it's gotten so bad that this has been all over the UK media today.
- 21:11SPEAKER_02: UK emergency fuel plans have been revealed from 50 mile per hour speed limit to fuel rationing.
- 21:20SPEAKER_02: Government contingency plans designed to help the UK deal
- 21:23SPEAKER_02: with potential diesel shortages could be revisited as fuel prices hit
- 21:28SPEAKER_02: an all-time high.
- 21:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it was shocking the prices that people are now paying at the pump.
- 21:37SPEAKER_02: Some people are paying well over £2 a litre for diesel now.
- 21:42SPEAKER_02: A lot of money.
- 21:43SPEAKER_02: It's going to really cut into...
- 21:46SPEAKER_02: People's budgets, truly.
- 21:48SPEAKER_02: So the RAC has forecast that diesel is about to smash its previous record.
- 21:54SPEAKER_02: The government says there's nothing they can do about it because this is because of
- 21:57SPEAKER_02: the United States and Iran.
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: It's interesting how they always say the United States and Iran.
- 22:03SPEAKER_02: They never mention Israel.
- 22:05SPEAKER_02: It was Israel, US, and Iran.
- 22:08SPEAKER_02: That's what really started this conflict.
- 22:10SPEAKER_02: But they keep saying it's a US-Iran conflict.
- 22:14SPEAKER_02: So The price now is £2 a litre on diesel, £1.75 a litre on petrol.
- 22:24SPEAKER_02: And this is what they are looking at.
- 22:26SPEAKER_02: So they've got unlimited measures to do whatever they want to do.
- 22:30SPEAKER_02: But they are talking about temporary speed limits of 50 miles per hour.
- 22:38SPEAKER_02: Well, if you live in the UK and you drive down the motorway,
- 22:41SPEAKER_02: you know that this scam has been going on forever.
- 22:44SPEAKER_02: You try You drive for miles, don't you, down the motorway, and it's just cones.
- 22:50SPEAKER_02: And you go, where's all the road workers?
- 22:52SPEAKER_02: And there's one guy in a high-vis vest, you know, with a pickaxe or something at the end.
- 22:57SPEAKER_02: So this is deliberate.
- 22:59SPEAKER_02: This whole 50 mile per hour thing has been going on deliberately for...
- 23:03SPEAKER_02: It's probably a decade at this point that it's been like this.
- 23:08SPEAKER_02: Now, a political correspondent said in March,
- 23:12SPEAKER_02: as you would expect,
- 23:13SPEAKER_02: the government has emergency plans in place which will be activated in the event
- 23:17SPEAKER_02: of severe disruption.
- 23:20SPEAKER_02: These are published online and they include things like rationing,
- 23:23SPEAKER_02: giving emergency services and public transport priority for fuel over You,
- 23:29SPEAKER_02: basically, and a temporary 50 mph speed limit to reduce the demand for fuel.
- 23:36SPEAKER_02: So this is not anything new.
- 23:39SPEAKER_02: We've talked about this six months ago on the channel.
- 23:42SPEAKER_02: This is what they are looking to do.
- 23:45SPEAKER_02: It will be priority driving use only.
- 23:50SPEAKER_02: And yet, here's the first thing I'd be doing.
- 23:53SPEAKER_02: If I were the Labour Party and the Prime Minister,
- 23:56SPEAKER_02: You've got this huge potential win by going, right,
- 24:00SPEAKER_02: let's get the North Sea open,
- 24:03SPEAKER_02: let's start building refineries and importing the fuel
- 24:07SPEAKER_02: and we'll refine it ourselves.
- 24:10SPEAKER_02: Nope.
- 24:11SPEAKER_02: None of this, he hasn't mentioned any of this, it's crazy talk.
- 24:16SPEAKER_02: Another really key one,
- 24:17SPEAKER_02: I need to warn everybody about this if you're in the UK,
- 24:20SPEAKER_02: if you haven't seen this yet, this is a huge one that has been announced today.
- 24:25SPEAKER_02: And by the way, please subscribe if you're not a subscriber to the channel.
- 24:28SPEAKER_02: Let me show you this, this is big.
- 24:32SPEAKER_02: Councils in the UK have just been handed power to seize empty homes after just six months.
- 24:40SPEAKER_02: So if you have a home and it's empty for six months,
- 24:44SPEAKER_02: The councils in the UK can now seize these properties.
- 24:49SPEAKER_02: This is absolutely legitimate.
- 24:51SPEAKER_02: It's out of the telegraph here.
- 24:54SPEAKER_02: So Labour has been accused of threatening empty homeless rights
- 24:58SPEAKER_02: after giving councils power to actually basically steal these houses.
- 25:05SPEAKER_02: And I think about The amount of people,
- 25:10SPEAKER_02: I think about my home that I sold in the UK and it took a long,
- 25:14SPEAKER_02: long time to sell because I won't go over the whole story but beautiful area,
- 25:18SPEAKER_02: really nice cul-de-sac and then the government put two bail houses in the street
- 25:24SPEAKER_02: which started the whole thing off.
- 25:26SPEAKER_02: When you have these houses with people on bail,
- 25:29SPEAKER_02: nothing against people trying to You know,
- 25:31SPEAKER_02: sort their lives out after prison or whatever.
- 25:33SPEAKER_02: But they had two of these houses and had about four or five guys in each one.
- 25:37SPEAKER_02: And it just, that's what set the street off.
- 25:40SPEAKER_02: Then the student, multiple occupation houses.
- 25:43SPEAKER_02: Then the home office, refugee houses and all this.
- 25:46SPEAKER_02: Caused a nightmare.
- 25:47SPEAKER_02: And it took me a long time, over a year, to sell my house.
- 25:51SPEAKER_02: Now, where do you draw the line with that?
- 25:54SPEAKER_02: Like, you know what councils are like.
- 25:57SPEAKER_02: They...
- 25:59SPEAKER_02: You send them an email these days and they reply saying, oh,
- 26:02SPEAKER_02: we will reply to you in the next 21 days due to staff shortages and crazy stuff like
- 26:07SPEAKER_02: that.
- 26:08SPEAKER_02: I emailed one over some council tax I didn't owe because I haven't lived in the UK
- 26:11SPEAKER_02: for a long time.
- 26:13SPEAKER_02: And it said, we will respond within 25 days.
- 26:15SPEAKER_02: 25 days?
- 26:17SPEAKER_02: Are you...
- 26:19SPEAKER_02: And then what?
- 26:20SPEAKER_02: I reply again and it's another 25.
- 26:21SPEAKER_02: It was crazy where they had basically a court order.
- 26:25SPEAKER_02: You have to go to court and all this.
- 26:26SPEAKER_02: But I didn't owe this money and it was really frustrating.
- 26:28SPEAKER_02: There's no one I could talk to.
- 26:30SPEAKER_02: So where do you draw the line?
- 26:32SPEAKER_02: You know, if a house is on the market for a year, can they just come in?
- 26:37SPEAKER_02: What if you, it's a second home.
- 26:40SPEAKER_02: What if it's been left to you by a relative that's passed away?
- 26:45SPEAKER_02: Where do you, Where do you draw the line with it?
- 26:48SPEAKER_02: You might want to renovate it yourself,
- 26:49SPEAKER_02: but you need to save up some money or something like that.
- 26:53SPEAKER_02: This is authoritarian, what they are now looking to do.
- 26:59SPEAKER_02: It says that they can take the property and they can rent it out for up to seven years.
- 27:04SPEAKER_02: They don't have to give you any evidence of antisocial behavior or anything like
- 27:10SPEAKER_02: that before taking control.
- 27:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the warnings that are coming out now is don't risk leaving your property empty.
- 27:19SPEAKER_02: If you've got a second home as well or a holiday home, it can be confiscated.
- 27:25SPEAKER_02: Holiday homes, fair game.
- 27:28SPEAKER_02: I'd be selling, personally.
- 27:31SPEAKER_02: I would be selling.
- 27:33SPEAKER_02: There's over 300,000 properties that are vacant in the UK right now,
- 27:38SPEAKER_02: many of them holiday homes, and these are all Fair game.
- 27:43SPEAKER_02: Even properties in probate are fair game.
- 27:46SPEAKER_02: This is very worrying what the UK is becoming.
- 27:51SPEAKER_02: Truly, truly is.
- 27:52SPEAKER_02: And what can we say, ladies and gentlemen?
- 27:57SPEAKER_02: I feel like I'm a broken record every video talking about this stuff.
- 28:01SPEAKER_02: I think it's pretty much done.
- 28:04SPEAKER_02: I really do.
- 28:05SPEAKER_02: I know a lot of people...
- 28:07SPEAKER_02: The fight back has started as well now.
- 28:09SPEAKER_02: You're seeing the fight back and I really salute everybody for the fight back.
- 28:14SPEAKER_02: I'm just concerned that it's too late now.
- 28:17SPEAKER_02: That is my biggest concern.
- 28:19SPEAKER_02: I think it's...
- 28:20SPEAKER_02: I think it's too late in some regards.
- 28:23SPEAKER_02: And it's still 2029 before an election.
- 28:26SPEAKER_02: Three more years of this,
- 28:27SPEAKER_02: they'll probably push the country into war at that point just so that they can avoid
- 28:33SPEAKER_02: an election.
- 28:33SPEAKER_02: That's what I think they're going to do.
- 28:35SPEAKER_02: Because if you're in a wartime crisis, there's no elections.
- 28:39SPEAKER_02: I think I just don't see a solution to this problem right now.
- 28:46SPEAKER_02: It's sad to say, but that's Yeah, that's it.
- 28:50SPEAKER_02: The best thing you can do, prepare yourself, prepare your family as best as you possibly can.
