  Listen, it is a, I can't believe I'm going to say this. It's crazy that we are

  on a Thursday. Can you believe that?

  Today is Thursday. What in the world is happening with the time?
• 1:43
  The time is just flying by and I'm excited to be here with another episode with you.

  You know, we've been talking about saying things that we're not alone and don't
• 1:52
  rush. And we've been talking about praying for each other. And I got to thinking.
• 1:59
  You know, we worry a lot about our past, and our past has a way of coming back.

  And our past struggles and our past experiences and our past decisions and choices
• 2:11
  that we have made have always haunted some of us.
• 2:15
  And I really believe that one of the most strongest things that we can do as
• 2:22
  Christians and as followers of God and followers of Christ is that we have to look forward.

  Now, don't mind, don't mind, don't forget, don't mind you, I'm aware that our
• 2:33
  past, when it does haunt us, when it does reveal itself yet again,
• 2:39
  or, you know, constantly is revitalized.
• 2:43
  It can slow us down because we start thinking about the things we did,
• 2:48
  the things that, or the choices we made and how they affected what today is and what today brings.
• 2:55
  But I'm here to tell you that in some situations, it is best to counter your fears.
• 3:04
  It's best to look back and say, okay, I made mistakes.
• 3:11
  I made poor decisions and I won't do it anymore.
• 3:15
  I'm going to put that now aside and move forward.
• 3:20
  And I think what happens is a lot of us will say that we're done with the past.
• 3:25
  We'll say that we're no longer living in the past, but deep down inside, we still are.
• 3:30
  Because for some reason, we just don't want to let it go.
• 3:33
  And I can't speak for everyone and say that I know what you're feeling.
• 3:38
  But I can tell you as somebody who knows what it feels like to live in the past,
• 3:44
  to wish things were the way they were, to wish that you could do things differently.
• 3:51
  And constantly saying, what if I would have done this? What if,
• 3:57
  what if, what if? There's no what if.

  That was yesterday, and today is today. It's so hard to forgive others that
• 4:06
  have done you wrong, but we need to do it.
• 4:09
  It's so hard to sit back and say, if only I could have done this this way.
• 4:16
  We can't go back. We can only move forward. Now, for some of us, closure is what we need.
• 4:24
  But what if you can't get closure? What if that closure and that opportunity
• 4:28
  and that door is permanently locked.
• 4:31
  Why would you do everything in your power to try to reopen a door that just
• 4:36
  doesn't want to be opened?
• 4:38
  That's when we seek God and our faith.
• 4:42
  And we say, God, please forgive me. God, please forgive those that have done wrong to me.
• 4:49
  And God, please help me move forward in my life.
• 4:54
  So here's your challenge for the day. I want you to take a few minutes and I
• 5:00
  want you to say goodbye to the past.
• 5:02
  And I don't want you to look back. I want you to look forward.
• 5:07
  I want you to live your life and live it to the fullest and I certainly want
• 5:13
  you to be happy because that's what God intended us to be,
• 5:17
  happy and I know I know that it's very easy for me or you think it's easy for
• 5:22
  me to sit here and do this episode and say well he he says that because he lives a,
• 5:27
  magnificent life style not true,
• 5:31
  there are days when I wake up and just say I just wish I had a bigger home.
• 5:35
  I wish that I didn't sleep in the living room because I had to give up my two
• 5:39
  bedrooms, meaning my one bedroom at first to my daughter and then the other bedroom to my son.
• 5:45
  And I wish that I was better organized.
• 5:49
  I wish I had better management skills. I wish I had more money coming into the home.
• 5:54
  I wish I didn't have three or four jobs.
• 5:57
  Yeah, I've been there in that spot. And you know what?
• 6:02
  Every time I start thinking that, I think about how truly blessed I am to be
• 6:07
  here, to be with you, to allow myself the opportunity to work with others, to help people,
• 6:15
  to guide people, and to have the Lord trust in me to deliver messages each and every day.
• 6:21
  So today, find out who you trust, who you put your faith into.
• 6:27
  And most importantly, How are you going to move forward?
• 6:31
  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we are thinking about moving forward. Don't look back.
• 6:36
  And we want your help. Many of us have been dealing with so much stress, so much pain.
• 6:42
  Insecurity. And we need your help to build courage.
• 6:48
  We need to send us our strength and our determination to move forward.
• 6:54
  And we can't do this without you. So we're leaving this at your feet.
• 6:59
  And we're praying the words that you taught us, our Father, who art in heaven.
• 7:04
  Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come.
• 7:07
  Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
• 7:11
  Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our
• 7:16
  debtors. Lead us not into temptation.

  Deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever.

  Amen. Well, may God be with you. May he shine his light upon you and grant each
• 7:29
  and every single one of you peace on earth.

  As my grandmothers would say, which means, God bless you.
