- 0:00Speaker 1: Now the Mark Simone Show on seven tenor filling in
- 0:05Speaker 1: for Mark, here's Ken Rosato and.
- 0:08Speaker 2: So good to be with you. Happy on Friday, Oh,
- 0:11Speaker 2: happy holidays. Good to be here. We are more than
- 0:14Speaker 2: halfway through Honukah. Christmas, of course, is next Thursday. If
- 0:17Speaker 2: you have not done your holiday shop and yet, what
- 0:20Speaker 2: are you waiting for? Oh my gosh, you gotta get
- 0:22Speaker 2: off your button, do it. I know it sneaks up.
- 0:25Speaker 2: And it's funny when you hear people say, like on Thanksgiving, oh,
- 0:28Speaker 2: this is one of the short years. You know, the
- 0:31Speaker 2: difference in terms of days between a short year meaning
- 0:34Speaker 2: where Thanksgiving falls in November versus a long year. It's
- 0:37Speaker 2: like the difference of three days. Three days does not
- 0:40Speaker 2: make that much of a difference, folks. And Christmas does
- 0:42Speaker 2: not sneak up. It's on the same date every year.
- 0:45Speaker 2: It's just that it feels like it does anyway. But
- 0:47Speaker 2: happy Hanukah. Were about what It's Sunday or month Monday,
- 0:52Speaker 2: So last day, Sunday night, Monday, last day of Honkkah,
- 0:55Speaker 2: So happy Hanukah to everybody. Celebrate that as well. Hey,
- 0:58Speaker 2: Brandon digital expert Fisher will be here later this hour.
- 1:02Speaker 2: He has some really cool tech gadgets you can give
- 1:04Speaker 2: as gifts or buying for yourself if you still need
- 1:08Speaker 2: to for the holidays. Mark is off today again. This
- 1:11Speaker 2: is Ken Rosato. Lots to talk about. Please excuse my laryngitis.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Tis the season for that, especially with the weather that
- 1:17Speaker 2: we had overnight and last night and right now. A
- 1:21Speaker 2: what confusion in the Brown University case. The suspect in
- 1:25Speaker 2: the Brown University mass shooting, Claudio Manuel Neves Valente, now
- 1:31Speaker 2: appears to have killed himself. Valente is a forty eight
- 1:33Speaker 2: year old former Brown student and Portuguese national. He was
- 1:38Speaker 2: found dead from self inflicted wounds at a storage facility
- 1:41Speaker 2: in Salem, New Hampshire. They believe he shot himself in
- 1:44Speaker 2: the head. They found him at the scene with a
- 1:47Speaker 2: satchel to firearms and evidence that matched the crime scene. Now,
- 1:52Speaker 2: investigators say they don't know why Valente targeted the university.
- 1:56Speaker 2: He went there apparently for a year in the early
- 1:58Speaker 2: two thousands. I don't know why he went back to
- 2:01Speaker 2: do what he did and why he would have shot
- 2:04Speaker 2: a students or two in this case, a number of students,
- 2:07Speaker 2: two of them died. But official say Valente is responsible.
- 2:11Speaker 2: That's what they believe, and that he also killed an
- 2:14Speaker 2: MIT professor at his Massachusetts home fifty miles north of Brown.
- 2:19Speaker 2: And they say they're still working on a motive, but
- 2:22Speaker 2: that he may have known this guy. They may have
- 2:24Speaker 2: studied in Lisbon, Portugal together. They may have even been
- 2:27Speaker 2: roommates at one point. Nevis was admitted into the US
- 2:32Speaker 2: legally under a very liberal diversity dv ie visa program
- 2:37Speaker 2: that appears to be totally out of control. It's also
- 2:40Speaker 2: called the Green Card Lottery. It was meant to diversify
- 2:44Speaker 2: the US, because clearly we are not a diverse nation.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Fifty five thousand people take part in this lottery each year.
- 2:52Speaker 2: But the Homeland Security Secretary Christinome now says that she
- 2:56Speaker 2: is recommending to President Trump that they scraped the program.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Of course, we'll find out more in the next few days.
- 3:02Speaker 2: The whole investigation has been rather sloppy by the folks
- 3:07Speaker 2: in Rhode Island, but we'll we'll see what they come
- 3:10Speaker 2: up with in the next few days. Seven ten wor
- 3:13Speaker 2: the Voice of New York. Hey, how about this, I'm
- 3:16Speaker 2: sure you heard this this week. The FBI did not
- 3:20Speaker 2: believe that agents had probable cause to execute a search
- 3:25Speaker 2: warrant at President Trump's mar A Lago estate in August
- 3:28Speaker 2: of twenty twenty two, that, according to internal records released
- 3:32Speaker 2: yesterday by Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley, actually wasn't yesterday, It
- 3:37Speaker 2: was Tuesday by Chuck Grassley and confirmed by FBI Director
- 3:42Speaker 2: Cash battel so Now. An ETBI official noted that agents
- 3:46Speaker 2: had spent six weeks trying to establish probable cause and
- 3:51Speaker 2: that they were counterproductive. Grassley also claimed that there are
- 3:56Speaker 2: emails and other documents proving that a miscarri of justice
- 4:01Speaker 2: occurred against Trump. You'll recall agents turned on their lights
- 4:05Speaker 2: and sirens before swarming the complex like there would be
- 4:09Speaker 2: people in there firing back at them or something. They
- 4:12Speaker 2: even entered first Lady Malania Trump's bedroom. They had a
- 4:15Speaker 2: shoot to kill order. So if any of the Secret
- 4:18Speaker 2: Service agents that were guarding Trump, because remember he was
- 4:21Speaker 2: the former president at that point from the twenty fifteen
- 4:24Speaker 2: to twenty sixteen election, there was a shoot to kill
- 4:27Speaker 2: order that was given by Merrick Garland. I mean the
- 4:31Speaker 2: man should be holed off in cuffs for that. This
- 4:33Speaker 2: is crazy. You don't have probable cause. And then instead
- 4:36Speaker 2: of saying go in there, peacefully. You give a shoot
- 4:39Speaker 2: to kill order, What is wrong with you? It's just
- 4:42Speaker 2: a sick man. The other thing they did, a professional
- 4:46Speaker 2: safe cracker later helped access items in Trump's office, broke
- 4:50Speaker 2: into his personal safe, and also apparently they rated baron
- 4:54Speaker 2: Trump's bedroom. They went through all his drawers as well.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Former President Joe Biden's Attorney General Merrick Garland ultimately the
- 5:01Speaker 2: one to sign off on the search over the objections
- 5:05Speaker 2: of a number of people at the FBI South Florida
- 5:08Speaker 2: US District. Judge Eileen Cannon later dismissed the case entirely,
- 5:13Speaker 2: ruling that special Counsel Jack Smith was never legally appointed
- 5:17Speaker 2: to begin with because he required congressional approval. But yet
- 5:22Speaker 2: they let him get away with five years. Five years
- 5:26Speaker 2: of spending over fifty million dollars of your taxpayer money
- 5:30Speaker 2: and literally haunting everybody who works for the Trump administration,
- 5:34Speaker 2: hurling accusations left and right. It nearly cost Trump the
- 5:38Speaker 2: twenty twenty four election, and yet nobody's being held a cannibal.
- 5:42Speaker 2: How the hell is that possible? Every one of them
- 5:45Speaker 2: should be locked up for this. This was all false,
- 5:47Speaker 2: and now that we know there was no probable cause
- 5:50Speaker 2: give me a break. They hauled Jack Smith before Congress
- 5:54Speaker 2: and he insisted, he insisted that he had evidence. But
- 5:59Speaker 2: when they asked him, well, what it's your evidence? Nothing,
- 6:02Speaker 2: ziltch zero nada. Nothing that's to borrow from the great
- 6:05Speaker 2: late Great Russia. Limba, he used to say, ziltch zero nada.
- 6:09Speaker 2: There was not one conviction made in five years. But
- 6:13Speaker 2: yet he bankrupt a number of people who had to
- 6:15Speaker 2: hire defense attorneys and literally burn through all their life
- 6:18Speaker 2: savings to do what to literally defend themselves for having
- 6:23Speaker 2: worked for the previous administration. This is obscene. That's why
- 6:28Speaker 2: when I hear the Democrats in quote unquote mainstream media
- 6:32Speaker 2: say that Trump is politicizing the Justice Department. Really, you
- 6:36Speaker 2: guys have a PhD in politicization. This is what you
- 6:40Speaker 2: did for years. You literally terrified people on the right
- 6:44Speaker 2: for years when there was no reason to do so.
- 6:47Speaker 2: And here you guys practicing the psychological method of projection.
- 6:53Speaker 2: You guys were the ones to actually politicize and actually
- 6:57Speaker 2: unjustly use the so called Justice Department against people who
- 7:01Speaker 2: were innocent. Remember all the times that Adam Schiff swore
- 7:05Speaker 2: to the press that he had groundbreaking evidence proving there
- 7:09Speaker 2: was Russia, Russia, Russia collusion against President Trump. He kept
- 7:12Speaker 2: promising to present the evidence, and he never did. All
- 7:16Speaker 2: the times he said he had this evidence, he never did.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Why did mainstream media never hold him accountable? Why did
- 7:23Speaker 2: they always run up to him like a bunch of
- 7:25Speaker 2: asses and stick Mike in his face? And anything he
- 7:28Speaker 2: said was gospel? Anything that Schiff said was gospel. And
- 7:32Speaker 2: then the people of California reward him by electing him Senator. Really,
- 7:37Speaker 2: the guy lied to you for all those years and
- 7:40Speaker 2: you elect him, Senator. Well, if there was so much
- 7:43Speaker 2: evidence shift the shift, why didn't you present it. This
- 7:46Speaker 2: is part of the strategy of the left. This is
- 7:48Speaker 2: part of Mao's little red book. It's all about painting
- 7:51Speaker 2: the other side. Even if you know it's bs, you
- 7:55Speaker 2: know it's a lie, just keep saying it over and
- 7:57Speaker 2: over again and eventually people will believe. That's the left's playbook.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Seven ten wr the Voice of New York Hen Rosatto
- 8:05Speaker 2: with laryngitis along filling in for the Great Marximon Today.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Our number is eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 8:13Speaker 2: to ten. Well, good to see that President Trump has
- 8:16Speaker 2: filed the lawsuit against the BBC for ten billion dollars.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Do we expect that he'll get ten billion? No, do
- 8:24Speaker 2: we expect he might get one hundred million maybe, And
- 8:27Speaker 2: you know, he'll do what he does best. He'll distribute
- 8:29Speaker 2: it to charities or maybe put it into his presidential library,
- 8:33Speaker 2: something that President Biden can't say that can be done
- 8:36Speaker 2: because he hasn't raised a penny for his presidential library.
- 8:39Speaker 2: And if you look at Obama's presidential library, they're basically
- 8:41Speaker 2: out of money and it looks like just the most
- 8:44Speaker 2: disgusting iceore ever. So Trump is going to have, I'm sure,
- 8:47Speaker 2: a gold dripping beautiful presidential library. And it's going to
- 8:51Speaker 2: be in downtown Miami. By the way, what a great location.
- 8:54Speaker 2: It's right by the river, right by the shore there
- 9:00Speaker 2: to Miami. Pardon me. This is the area near the
- 9:03Speaker 2: Freedom Tower that the Cubans revered so much. Cuban Americans
- 9:07Speaker 2: down there, it's just a great spot. So apparently the
- 9:11Speaker 2: British broadcaster BBC, they said that they had accidentally left
- 9:17Speaker 2: a mistaken impression that President Trump called for violent action
- 9:21Speaker 2: before the storming of the Capitol in twenty sixteen. Well
- 9:25Speaker 2: in a forty six page lawsuit filed in Miami federal court.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Trump accused the BBC of defaming him and violating Florida's
- 9:33Speaker 2: Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act. He demanded five billion
- 9:38Speaker 2: for each of two offenses that he says they violated.
- 9:41Speaker 2: The president's legal team said the lawsuit is meant to
- 9:44Speaker 2: hold the British network accountable for his for its wrongdoing,
- 9:47Speaker 2: and of course it'll send a message to all the
- 9:49Speaker 2: other leftist morons who do the same thing. You'll recall
- 9:53Speaker 2: what the BBC did. They edited together two separate portions
- 9:57Speaker 2: of President Trump's speech to supporters on j January sixth,
- 10:00Speaker 2: twenty twenty one, portions that were actually spoken nearly an
- 10:04Speaker 2: hour apart.
- 10:07Speaker 3: We're gonna walk down to the Capitol and I'll be
- 10:11Speaker 3: there with you, and we fight.
- 10:14Speaker 2: We fight like hell.
- 10:16Speaker 4: We're gonna walk.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Down to the Capital.
- 10:21Speaker 3: And we're gonna cheer on our brave senators and congressmen
- 10:27Speaker 3: and women.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Now do you think there's any difference there? They edited
- 10:31Speaker 2: together the first bite that we call it a bite
- 10:34Speaker 2: in TV and radio. The first sound bite, the first
- 10:37Speaker 2: sound bite with the edit makes it sound like we're
- 10:40Speaker 2: gonna go down to the Capitol. We're gonna fight fight, fight,
- 10:43Speaker 2: So in other words, we're not gonna accept the outcome
- 10:46Speaker 2: of the election. That's what that suggests. Meanwhile, what actually
- 10:50Speaker 2: was said was we're gonna march down, we're gonna do
- 10:52Speaker 2: so peacefully, and we're gonna cheer on our congressmen and women.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Quite a difference. But yet the scenario, the narrative that
- 11:01Speaker 2: was painted by the left for years was the Trump
- 11:05Speaker 2: started the riots and he wanted he wanted to overthrow
- 11:08Speaker 2: the government. None of that happened. None of that happened.
- 11:11Speaker 2: It was in their crazy leftist minds, and they kept
- 11:14Speaker 2: repeating the same lie among themselves and their leftist bubble,
- 11:17Speaker 2: and so this narrative became truth in leftist circles. Again,
- 11:22Speaker 2: as I mentioned in the last story, this is what
- 11:24Speaker 2: the left does. Tell a lie, and if it doesn't
- 11:27Speaker 2: exist formal lie, create a lie and say it over
- 11:30Speaker 2: and over and over and over again until the narrative
- 11:34Speaker 2: is bought, and even mainstream media starts repeating it as
- 11:38Speaker 2: if it's truth when it's not. Well, the BBC insists
- 11:41Speaker 2: there edit was not defamatory, it was an accident. Then
- 11:45Speaker 2: why'd you do it? Why did you need to edit
- 11:48Speaker 2: a twenty one second sound bite. If it was like
- 11:50Speaker 2: two minutes, I could see. I know there are time constraints.
- 11:54Speaker 2: It was twenty one seconds. Why would you need to
- 11:56Speaker 2: edit that. We use twenty one second sound bites and
- 11:58Speaker 2: TV and radio all the time. It was because they
- 12:01Speaker 2: were trying to paint the narrative, folks, And that is
- 12:03Speaker 2: why the BBC fired their two chief people, the two
- 12:06Speaker 2: people in charge of the entire network, who basically would
- 12:09Speaker 2: have had their job for life, but they got led
- 12:12Speaker 2: or I'm sorry, they resigned on their own. That was
- 12:16Speaker 2: translation for if you leave on your own, will give
- 12:18Speaker 2: you a million dollars and you could go live in peace,
- 12:21Speaker 2: or will fire you, take you to court and you
- 12:22Speaker 2: get nothing. So they left on their own. Well, the
- 12:26Speaker 2: edit was responsible for a false Democrat narrative. Like I said,
- 12:30Speaker 2: that nearly cost Trump the twenty twenty four election, and
- 12:33Speaker 2: it is disgusting that they did it. But they got
- 12:35Speaker 2: away with it until now. Hopefully they will lose this
- 12:38Speaker 2: lawsuit or settle out of court if they're smart, and
- 12:41Speaker 2: President Trump can give that money that he will get
- 12:44Speaker 2: to a good conservative charity. Seven to ten w o
- 12:48Speaker 2: R The Voice of New York A laryng Jeitick Ken
- 12:50Speaker 2: Rosatto in for the great Mark Simone today. I hope
- 12:53Speaker 2: Mark is enjoying his holidays. Ah, the two faced Kathy
- 12:59Speaker 2: vision my lips trying to get over the oversized caps
- 13:02Speaker 2: in my mouth right now. I'm sorry, that's mean. She's
- 13:05Speaker 2: getting tough on your behalf. Now. See she is now
- 13:08Speaker 2: demanding that con Edison explained to her why they are
- 13:12Speaker 2: warning customers there may be rolling blackouts through the year
- 13:16Speaker 2: twenty twenty six. She acts like this is a shock. Hey, Kathy,
- 13:22Speaker 2: how about when your liberal predecessor, Andrew Cuomo ordered the
- 13:25Speaker 2: perfectly fine functioning Indian Point Nuclear Power plant to shut
- 13:29Speaker 2: down without a replacement. That eliminated twenty five percent of
- 13:33Speaker 2: all the power generating capacity for the entire region. At
- 13:37Speaker 2: the same time, you open the floodgates to a million
- 13:39Speaker 2: illegals in New York, declaring New York a sanctuary state. Well,
- 13:44Speaker 2: guess what. A million people use a lot of resources.
- 13:47Speaker 2: They live in homes, taking away those homes from citizens
- 13:51Speaker 2: looking for place to live. They clog highways at times
- 13:54Speaker 2: day and night. Their kids jam our classrooms and cost
- 13:58Speaker 2: us billions in school breakfast, lunch, and dinner programs, and
- 14:00Speaker 2: guess what else, Kathy, They flush toilets what ken, Yes,
- 14:05Speaker 2: that adds to the pressure of our water and sewer systems.
- 14:08Speaker 2: If you don't believe me, ask a plumber. A building
- 14:11Speaker 2: has an approximated capacity of toilet flushes per apartment, and
- 14:16Speaker 2: when all of a sudden, there are three times that
- 14:18Speaker 2: number of people living in an apartment, that puts a
- 14:20Speaker 2: strain on the system. Too much water is drawn and
- 14:23Speaker 2: too much water is flushed. Then come the AI companies,
- 14:27Speaker 2: cloud storage facilities and tens of thousands of these liberal
- 14:31Speaker 2: electric vehicles plugging into charge up, and you get rolling blackouts.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Kafee duh. How about having the illegals go home to
- 14:38Speaker 2: wherever they came from and building more reliable nuclear or
- 14:41Speaker 2: fossil fuel electric generating power plants, Miss Buffalo, I mean
- 14:45Speaker 2: this is not brain surgery, folks. This is an easy fix.
- 14:48Speaker 2: These problems are caused by liberals, but they shrug their
- 14:51Speaker 2: shoulders and then immediately blame somebody else for what is
- 14:55Speaker 2: their own fault. I mean, the same thing happened in
- 14:57Speaker 2: New Jersey. The reason why we've had two years of
- 15:00Speaker 2: twenty percent power increases is because Governor Murphy and the
- 15:05Speaker 2: Democrats in Trenton order the shutdown of six perfectly good
- 15:09Speaker 2: power plants because they're evil fossil fuel and one of
- 15:13Speaker 2: them was a nuclear plant, So you order them shut
- 15:16Speaker 2: down before you have new green plants built. What do
- 15:19Speaker 2: you get your short power? Now? The demand is high
- 15:22Speaker 2: because of AI and cloud storage and all the illegals
- 15:25Speaker 2: eight hundred nine hundred thousand illegals in New Jersey too.
- 15:28Speaker 2: The demand is high, so the cost per kilo out
- 15:31Speaker 2: of electricity goes through the roof. This is why it's
- 15:35Speaker 2: not because we're part of this regional grid. The whole
- 15:37Speaker 2: grid is impacted when you add millions of people whom
- 15:40Speaker 2: you don't account for. But again, this is what the
- 15:43Speaker 2: Democrats do, and they guise it as compassion. Meanwhile, screw you,
- 15:48Speaker 2: you citizen, tax paying moron. Middle finger to you. Just
- 15:52Speaker 2: keep paying us, and keep electing us, and shut up
- 15:54Speaker 2: and mind your business and do what we tell you.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Keep voting Democrats, folk folks, and that's what you get.

- 16:45Speaker 1: This is the Mark Simone Show on seven ten. WOI
- 16:49Speaker 1: ben for Mark today. Here's Ken Rosatto.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Had a very good time to you, good holiday time.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Let's go right to our busy phones. Vincent and Brooklyn,
- 16:57Speaker 2: who I'm sure will give me a good tip on
- 16:59Speaker 2: what did you about my laryngitis?
- 17:02Speaker 4: Uh Ud Male and de Tayey exactly born natali Ate
- 17:10Speaker 4: a borano Ate and KEIVORSTRICARTI.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Thank you and to you as well, Happy Holidaysry Christmas,
- 17:18Speaker 2: Happy New to you and your friend.
- 17:19Speaker 4: Well, what I would like to tell your audience is
- 17:22Speaker 4: beware of scams out there because and also download the
- 17:28Speaker 4: app from your banks because recently, my my checking account
- 17:33Speaker 4: was scammed in October, but I didn't get the printed statement.
- 17:38Speaker 4: It was scammed towards the end of October, but I
- 17:41Speaker 4: didn't get the printed statement until December one, a couple
- 17:45Speaker 4: of weeks ago, and I went what And I looked
- 17:48Speaker 4: on it and what somebody actually did They put in
- 17:52Speaker 4: the withdrawal for my count as a pre approved with Raoral.
- 17:58Speaker 4: Now I reedially called it my back. I said, hey,
- 18:01Speaker 4: you know me, I don't do auto pay with anyone.
- 18:04Speaker 4: The only ones who will electronically cash your check are
- 18:08Speaker 4: a utility company because they don't send somebody down to
- 18:11Speaker 4: the bank. But this person who ever did it, made
- 18:15Speaker 4: a big mistake. Because the anti fraud police are on
- 18:21Speaker 4: the case. What they did was I don't know how
- 18:24Speaker 4: they got not only my checking account number, but like
- 18:27Speaker 4: the eband number, all the numbers that are at the
- 18:30Speaker 4: bottom of your check besides your account. And with this
- 18:35Speaker 4: fool did I know the person's name, And I'm not
- 18:37Speaker 4: going to say it because the investigators gave it to me.
- 18:41Speaker 4: What this person did was they bought something and they
- 18:47Speaker 4: paid their bill. They must have had bad credit because
- 18:51Speaker 4: there are these companies that you buy something from one
- 18:54Speaker 4: of their pull your prove vendors and they they'll they'll
- 19:00Speaker 4: advance to credit on it and then you have to
- 19:02Speaker 4: pay them.
- 19:03Speaker 2: It can because it's through a secondary person.
- 19:06Speaker 4: Exactly. So this fool, this fool used the money that
- 19:11Speaker 4: they pilfit from my account to pay their credit card
- 19:16Speaker 4: bill with this. With this, it's not master Card or
- 19:20Speaker 4: anything there these these third party companies. It's not master
- 19:24Speaker 4: Card and it's not Visa. And my advice to anybody
- 19:28Speaker 4: is beware of these companies. That's all I could say.
- 19:32Speaker 4: And this fool made a mistake of pretty big several
- 19:38Speaker 4: thousand dollars can's paying off their bill with my pilfit money.
- 19:42Speaker 4: And so, Vincent, did.
- 19:44Speaker 2: You get your money back? At least did they give it?
- 19:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm with God. Actually I'm sitting at my desk
- 19:49Speaker 4: and I'm rebalancing my checking account.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Hey, here's my advice to anybody who tries to rob
- 19:55Speaker 2: from Vincent. I wouldn't do that.
- 19:58Speaker 4: Exactly. Then, when I had to, not only I had
- 20:02Speaker 4: to make a police report, when I spoke to the
- 20:05Speaker 4: bank examiners, because when you go to the bank, they
- 20:09Speaker 4: send you to they call up there, insurers and everything,
- 20:12Speaker 4: and they backtracked the account all the activity. And the
- 20:16Speaker 4: person did it at eleven fifty nine PM, right before
- 20:20Speaker 4: the start of a new day. And so the bank
- 20:23Speaker 4: examiner says, do you know so and so this person
- 20:28Speaker 4: that did it? I said no, and so I also, Vincent.
- 20:35Speaker 2: I mean to cut us, but we got news time.
- 20:36Speaker 2: But listen, I'm just glad you got your money back.
- 20:39Speaker 2: And again a merry, merry Christmas, Happy New Year. God
- 20:41Speaker 2: bless you and your family. And we will definitely be
- 20:44Speaker 2: checking in. I'll be in on Monday, so call us
- 20:46Speaker 2: during the Larry METI Show METI in the morning. We'll
- 20:48Speaker 2: catch you out then. Thank you so much, Vincent. Seven
- 20:50Speaker 2: to ten WR the voice of New York former tv
- 20:53Speaker 2: NE sactor Ken Rosatto Infra Mark and it is now
- 20:56Speaker 2: eleven thirty three now.
- 20:58Speaker 1: More of the Marksmon Show on seven to ten wo R.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Filling in for Mark. Here again is Ken.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Rossetto and so good to be with you on this ring. Friday.
- 21:09Speaker 2: It's windy, but maya is it mild out there today?
- 21:12Speaker 2: And the holidays are here. Let's face it, we still
- 21:14Speaker 2: have that one person to shop for who's into tech
- 21:17Speaker 2: stuff that we wish we knew about to buy as
- 21:20Speaker 2: a gift, or maybe we want some cool tech gadgets
- 21:22Speaker 2: to buy for ourselves. Brand and digital strategist Fisher, who
- 21:26Speaker 2: can be found at at Fisher on X and Threads
- 21:30Speaker 2: and at Fisher dot Media. We say Merry Christmas, good morning,
- 21:33Speaker 2: and welcome to the Mark Simone Show.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Good morning, Ken, how are you ah?
- 21:37Speaker 2: Little larynge I just okay? Otherwise it's gonna say you
- 21:40Speaker 2: sounded great. It's my Brenda the Caro impersonation. That's what
- 21:43Speaker 2: it is. So what are some cool tech gadgets that
- 21:47Speaker 2: we may not know about this year for the person
- 21:49Speaker 2: who's into cool tech stuff?
- 21:52Speaker 3: Absolutely? First, I'm going to just mention that if you
- 21:55Speaker 3: have a child or a teenager, Nintendo Switch to Mario
- 21:58Speaker 3: Kart bundle is still on set well at Walmart. You
- 22:01Speaker 3: can get it at Target, so you can still get
- 22:03Speaker 3: these gifts, right. But some cool things, as you mentioned
- 22:07Speaker 3: insta three sixty Link two. It's a webcam four K resolution,
- 22:11Speaker 3: DSLR quality, noise canceling and this is the great part
- 22:16Speaker 3: tracking and framing. So if you're sitting in front of
- 22:18Speaker 3: your computer during doing zoom calls. It's one thing and
- 22:20Speaker 3: you can have like a fixed camera if you will right,
- 22:23Speaker 3: but this camera, if you have to get up to
- 22:24Speaker 3: do presentations, it will track you, so it'll follow you
- 22:27Speaker 3: if you stand up, it'll zoom out, zoom in if
- 22:30Speaker 3: you move around to whiteboard, things of that sort.
- 22:32Speaker 2: So great, great camera.
- 22:34Speaker 3: It's only about one hundred and fifty bucks, which is
- 22:36Speaker 3: pretty reasonable, and you could get it at insta three
- 22:38Speaker 3: sixty dot com. How about a drone anti gravity a
- 22:42Speaker 3: one drone. Get this eight K video on a drone
- 22:46Speaker 3: obstacle avoidance so you don't run into a tree of
- 22:49Speaker 3: building your house your dog. Six mile range comes with
- 22:54Speaker 3: a headset, grip controllers, so you're kind of playing it
- 22:56Speaker 3: like a video game and then you're looking at what
- 22:59Speaker 3: the drone sees in the ed said. Comes with a battery,
- 23:01Speaker 3: a carry case, a carrying case.
- 23:03Speaker 2: You could get that at.
- 23:03Speaker 3: Best Buy and something for the grandparents, maybe your parents.
- 23:07Speaker 3: Ten inch Wi Fi enabled digital photo frame. It's great.
- 23:11Speaker 3: You can update the pictures. You can, you know, take
- 23:13Speaker 3: them from your phone and upload them into the photo frame.
- 23:15Speaker 2: That's at best By.
- 23:16Speaker 3: It's only about fifty nine bucks, but there's plenty of
- 23:18Speaker 3: deals also. Think of things like accessories, AirPod Pro threes,
- 23:23Speaker 3: Pixel Buds Pro twos, the Apple Watch or Pixel Watch,
- 23:26Speaker 3: or even just something simple like a tablet or laptop stand,
- 23:30Speaker 3: privacy screens, and there's plenty of things. You can go online,
- 23:34Speaker 3: you can order it and then just go pick it up.
- 23:36Speaker 3: You don't have to, you know, go through the store
- 23:38Speaker 3: and you know, sit in the aisles with everybody else
- 23:41Speaker 3: that's looking for last minute gifts. You can do a
- 23:42Speaker 3: lot of it online and then just pick up on
- 23:44Speaker 3: the stores, so you're not worried about the shipping.
- 23:47Speaker 2: That is awesome. Seven to ten wore the Voice of
- 23:50Speaker 2: New York, Hen Rosanto, went from Mark on a Friday,
- 23:52Speaker 2: smack dab in the middle of the holidays. Right now,
- 23:54Speaker 2: of course, we have a few days left of Hanukah,
- 23:57Speaker 2: Christmas is only six days away, and we're speaking with Fisher,
- 24:01Speaker 2: who can tell you all about everything tech and he
- 24:05Speaker 2: has some great advice here for us. So now you've
- 24:08Speaker 2: also talked about before going out shopping or even doing
- 24:10Speaker 2: shopping online, to get credit cards for cash back and
- 24:14Speaker 2: deals before you add to the store. So talk about that.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Yeah, we talked about this on Black Friday and kind
- 24:19Speaker 3: of got a great response on it, so I'll mention
- 24:21Speaker 3: it again for anybody who didn't hear that. Show your
- 24:23Speaker 3: credit cards if you have one, basically you have cash
- 24:26Speaker 3: back rewards, you have reward points that you can get.
- 24:29Speaker 3: Capital One has Capital One offers, amex offers, Bankamera deals,
- 24:34Speaker 3: even discover Card has cash bonuses. And the point of
- 24:37Speaker 3: mentioning this is before you go to the store, check
- 24:39Speaker 3: the app, check the website of your credit cards and
- 24:42Speaker 3: see if you go through the link in the app
- 24:44Speaker 3: that you get an extra five percent off or you
- 24:46Speaker 3: get an extra ten thousand membership rewards points. A company
- 24:50Speaker 3: like Capital one there credit card, they actually have an
- 24:52Speaker 3: extension for your browsers, so as you go to websites,
- 24:55Speaker 3: you don't have to keep track of all of it.
- 24:57Speaker 3: It will tell you. It'll say, hey, there's an offer
- 24:59Speaker 3: here for five percent cash back if you use your
- 25:01Speaker 3: Capital one card. Rakuten is a great resource as well,
- 25:05Speaker 3: and they have a browser extension you can use, and
- 25:08Speaker 3: that's fantastic. And I also want to mention that if
- 25:13Speaker 3: you have a credit card or anything, really look to
- 25:16Speaker 3: burn your perks by the end of the year. A
- 25:18Speaker 3: lot of your credit cards offer perks like TSCA free
- 25:22Speaker 3: check Global Entry, Clear Membership. You know they'll cover the
- 25:25Speaker 3: cost if you just sign up a Rezi so Rezi
- 25:28Speaker 3: is an online restaurant reservation and American Express offers one hundred
- 25:33Speaker 3: dollars a quarter if credit you got to burn that
- 25:36Speaker 3: sacks fifth avenue credit on an American Express. Think airline
- 25:39Speaker 3: incidental credits too. As you travel, make sure you bring
- 25:41Speaker 3: that credit card that you're gonna be able to take
- 25:43Speaker 3: care of the baggage fee or the lounge fees, drink
- 25:46Speaker 3: tickets in your airline app if you get those through
- 25:50Speaker 3: your credit card, and think of things that you wouldn't
- 25:52Speaker 3: normally think of, meaning a Clear membership has discounts, so
- 25:55Speaker 3: check the Clear app and you get a discount on
- 25:58Speaker 3: Uber one or forty nine dollars off or ring. And
- 26:01Speaker 3: then also, of course, you know your Starbucks point expire
- 26:04Speaker 3: at the end of the month, Dunkin Donuts, whatever it is.
- 26:06Speaker 3: This is the end of the year, not just the
- 26:08Speaker 3: end of the month, it's the end of a quarter,
- 26:09Speaker 3: it's the end of the year. So think of those
- 26:12Speaker 3: because all of this will expire by the end of
- 26:15Speaker 3: the of the next week right, so two weeks from
- 26:18Speaker 3: now actually, and so you want to burn all these
- 26:20Speaker 3: points because you're paying, in some cases a large annual
- 26:24Speaker 3: fee on a credit card. Make sure you take advantage
- 26:26Speaker 3: of it.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Wow, that is all amazing advice. And I know you
- 26:29Speaker 2: have this all on your website, Fisher dot Media. So
- 26:32Speaker 2: if anybody saying, wait, this all sounds great, but I'm
- 26:34Speaker 2: driving and I can't write it down, don't worry about it.
- 26:37Speaker 2: You can do that. You can check it out there.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Let me ask you, did you get all your holiday
- 26:41Speaker 2: shopping done?
- 26:42Speaker 3: Absolutely not, but there are great deals and it's great.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Like I was thinking about for my mom, and there's
- 26:50Speaker 3: such great deals on televisions now two hundred three hundred
- 26:53Speaker 3: dollars for seventy five inch TVs at Walmart, Costco, Best Buy,
- 26:57Speaker 3: pick a store. It's easy to walk in and grab
- 27:00Speaker 3: one of those deals. So I feel confident now. If
- 27:02Speaker 3: we talk on Tuesday, I will feel less confident. But
- 27:05Speaker 3: as of right now, going into the weekend, I'm feeling good.
- 27:08Speaker 2: This is this is amazing. So Fisher comes on our
- 27:10Speaker 2: the show that we do in New Jersey, and Fisher
- 27:13Speaker 2: always has this great advice and almost inevitably I will
- 27:16Speaker 2: ask did you do this for yourself and say no.
- 27:19Speaker 2: So Fisher's great at giving advice, but terrible at doing
- 27:22Speaker 2: it himself. He's do as I'd say, don't do as
- 27:24Speaker 2: I do.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Except for the password stuff. You're the one with password
- 27:27Speaker 3: one two three four as your passwords?
- 27:29Speaker 2: Well thanks for sharing.
- 27:30Speaker 3: Well, I mean you get it on TV.
- 27:32Speaker 2: I figured it was open listen. I think if if
- 27:36Speaker 2: the company gives you the product with the word password
- 27:39Speaker 2: as the password, why should you bother changing it? I
- 27:42Speaker 2: mean they did you admin? It's fine exactly you know,
- 27:45Speaker 2: or just you know abc D one two three four.
- 27:48Speaker 2: I mean, there's nothing. People people make fun of me
- 27:50Speaker 2: because I still have on my Instagram I still have
- 27:54Speaker 2: some certain letters that are connected to a previous employer. Hey,
- 27:58Speaker 2: why take the time to change it? It works.
- 28:00Speaker 3: There are many other ways that people make fun of you.
- 28:02Speaker 2: But yeah, that's one. Has nothing to do with the
- 28:06Speaker 2: funny hats that I wear. All right, amazing? So what
- 28:09Speaker 2: other advice you have? So you talked about Clear? I just,
- 28:11Speaker 2: by the way, just a heads up that when I
- 28:14Speaker 2: just renewed my Clear recently, I wasn't sure which of
- 28:17Speaker 2: the credit cards I had used previously and I just
- 28:19Speaker 2: did a a search engine were a search and ask
- 28:23Speaker 2: which credit cards give you free Clear or free TSA
- 28:27Speaker 2: pre Check, and they're like ten popped up. Yeah, I
- 28:29Speaker 2: had one of those cards. Yeah.
- 28:31Speaker 3: And you could even go into the dashboard. Usually it's
- 28:33Speaker 3: the website because it has more landscape for you to
- 28:35Speaker 3: see and like American Express tracks, so say in American
- 28:39Speaker 3: Express Platinum cards gives you streaming credits per month, you
- 28:43Speaker 3: could actually go in and see how many credits I've used,
- 28:45Speaker 3: or how many dollars in that case, or have I
- 28:47Speaker 3: used my saxpith Avenue you know I used in the
- 28:49Speaker 3: first half of the year. I still had fifty bucks
- 28:51Speaker 3: before the end of the year. So a lot of
- 28:52Speaker 3: your credit cards will kind of give you that heads up.
- 28:54Speaker 3: And in addition, say you have a TSA pre Check
- 28:57Speaker 3: or a Clear or a Global Entry, you know, thing
- 29:00Speaker 3: to spend and the spend is usually once every three
- 29:04Speaker 3: years on credit cards, like once you spend it, because
- 29:06Speaker 3: you're only going to get a membership once every three
- 29:08Speaker 3: years or five years for pre check. So but yes,
- 29:11Speaker 3: almost every credit card at this point offers a TSA
- 29:14Speaker 3: pre check credit. And again, if you're a member of
- 29:19Speaker 3: a Delta, sky Miles, et cetera American Airlines advantage. You
- 29:25Speaker 3: also probably get a discount unclear or pre check, so
- 29:27Speaker 3: check those as well. It's a great way to also
- 29:30Speaker 3: get memberships for your entire family by using different credit cards.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and also you get on those credit cards from
- 29:35Speaker 2: the airlines like I have United and Jet Blue. Can
- 29:39Speaker 2: you get certain discounts on drinks and food and whatnot
- 29:43Speaker 2: on those planes by using their credit card on the
- 29:47Speaker 2: plane to make a purchase. So, but a lot of
- 29:49Speaker 2: that you get a.
- 29:50Speaker 3: Lit Yeah, and check flight credits that you might have
- 29:53Speaker 3: if you got fumed from a flight or you cancel
- 29:55Speaker 3: the flight.
- 29:56Speaker 2: May it expire expired?
- 29:57Speaker 3: Right, I've had that before and I saw four hundred
- 29:59Speaker 3: buck from a Delta sky Miles account go away, so right,
- 30:02Speaker 3: definitely check that and it make it, you know, set
- 30:05Speaker 3: reminders on your phone. I started doing that because of
- 30:07Speaker 3: all the different perks that you have to burn by
- 30:09Speaker 3: the end of a month or a quarter year. So
- 30:12Speaker 3: I started making reminders on my phone that I just
- 30:14Speaker 3: as I use the twenty five dollars resume credit on
- 30:17Speaker 3: my Delta Reserve card, I mark it off and then
- 30:19Speaker 3: it resets for the next month, and you should get
- 30:22Speaker 3: in the habit of that because for the amount of
- 30:23Speaker 3: money you're paying for your credit cards, in some cases,
- 30:26Speaker 3: you need to make sure that you're using all of
- 30:28Speaker 3: the perks to benefit the annual fee.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Right, that's one of the reasons you pay for that.
- 30:33Speaker 2: You are paying for it, you might as well take
- 30:35Speaker 2: advantage of the Benny's Leave brand table. No, absolutely not.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Brandon digital strategist Fisher who can be found that at
- 30:42Speaker 2: Fisher on X and threads and at Fisher dot media
- 30:46Speaker 2: if you want all those tips and those wonderful ideas
- 30:49Speaker 2: Fisher dot Media. Thanks for coming on this morning, sir
- 30:51Speaker 2: Mary Chris, Merry Christmas again, thank you. Some morning rain,
- 30:56Speaker 2: even some thunder. It'll be very windy all day, becoming
- 30:58Speaker 2: partly cloudy later. Highs in the mid fifties again, very
- 31:02Speaker 2: very windy. Wind advisory in effect. Ken Risotto went from
- 31:05Speaker 2: Mark on your Friday one eight hundred three two one
- 31:08Speaker 2: zero seven ten one eight hundred three two one zero
- 31:12Speaker 2: seven ten will squeeze in a call or to next
- 31:14Speaker 2: seven ten WR. We are coming right back.
- 31:18Speaker 1: This is the Mark Simone Show on seven ten WR.
- 31:22Speaker 2: In from Mark today.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Here's Ken Rosadas.
- 31:26Speaker 2: So good to be with you once again. Last couple
- 31:28Speaker 2: of minutes here, if you want to give us a
- 31:29Speaker 2: call at eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten,
- 31:33Speaker 2: eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten, we
- 31:35Speaker 2: could squeeze in one more call in the meantime. I
- 31:37Speaker 2: don't know if you saw this. The MTA is crying
- 31:40Speaker 2: poverty once again, and they want to hike tolls and
- 31:44Speaker 2: congestion pricing once again to cover their budget gap, while
- 31:49Speaker 2: tens of thousands of people are still jumping turnstiles every day.
- 31:54Speaker 2: So unlike President Trump, who has covered the hole which
- 31:58Speaker 2: is the southern border by building the wall to prevent
- 32:01Speaker 2: illegals from streaming across, and now he could take care
- 32:05Speaker 2: of people who are here illegally and get some people
- 32:08Speaker 2: to leave on their own or deport them, the MTA
- 32:12Speaker 2: continues to bleed income because people just jump over the
- 32:16Speaker 2: turnstiles every day. They're doing nothing about it. They tried
- 32:19Speaker 2: to put up these little silly fins. It costs like
- 32:22Speaker 2: seven million dollars. Nobody I guess tested it, so people
- 32:26Speaker 2: are just jumping over those coming in free. And again
- 32:29Speaker 2: we're losing four hundred million dollars that we know of
- 32:32Speaker 2: a year and they continue to look to others to
- 32:36Speaker 2: make up the difference in money. Let's go to our phones,
- 32:38Speaker 2: Dan and Mary, good morning to you, Happy holidays.
- 32:41Speaker 5: Happy holidays. Kind of pleasure talking to you. Likewise, Okay, listen,
- 32:45Speaker 5: I want to tell you quit it's about the city
- 32:47Speaker 5: and stuff and workers. I came from a friend of
- 32:49Speaker 5: mine that's a professional out here, a doctor. Now it's like, okay,
- 32:52Speaker 5: I just a regular doctor. But he had it for
- 32:55Speaker 5: me that a lot of his, well a lot of
- 32:57Speaker 5: police are going to be retiring at the end of
- 32:59Speaker 5: the year, a lot in the thousands. And he had
- 33:02Speaker 5: told me that a lot of them the last six
- 33:04Speaker 5: months have kind of been like hiding out.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Yeah, and that is we had to cut you because
- 33:11Speaker 2: we're down our last ten seconds here. But yes, don't
- 33:14Speaker 2: be surprised. You will see a massive decrease in the
- 33:16Speaker 2: number of police. And that's exactly what zoron Mumdani wants. Unfortunately,
- 33:21Speaker 2: New Yorkers are gonna suffer. You're gonna see crime go up,
- 33:23Speaker 2: You're gonna see homelessness everywhere. And this is what you
- 33:26Speaker 2: get when you vote super liberal Democrat folks. Unfortunately, Well,
- 33:29Speaker 2: thank you so much to Mark. Thank you to war
- 33:31Speaker 2: for letting me sit in today. I'm Ken Rosotto. I'll
- 33:33Speaker 2: be in for Larry Mente on Monday morning. Don't Go Anywhere.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Buck Sexon and Clay Travis are upperhead at three o'clock.
- 33:39Speaker 2: The most listened to radio talk show in America, Sean Hannity,
- 33:43Speaker 2: Jesse Kelly's on at six, Jimmy fails On at nine.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Mark's in, of course every weekday ten to noon, and
- 33:49Speaker 2: if you want to hear more of Mark, all you
- 33:51Speaker 2: have to do is check out his podcast at seven
- 33:53Speaker 2: to ten. Wor dot com slash Mark bucking Clay after
- 33:56Speaker 2: the news. Have a great day, happy holidays, and a
- 33:58Speaker 2: great weekend from wor
