Katy Jeter visited with Marysville Superintendent Darren Schroeder about the district’s new Farm to Plate Program, an initiative designed to connect students with the journey of food from local farms to their school cafeteria. Schroeder says the grant will help fund equipment upgrades and resources needed to expand hands-on learning opportunities, improve food preparation, and incorporate more locally sourced products into school meals.
