- 0:00Confusion and volatility rule the day in the silver and gold
- 0:05market. Probably some frustration as
- 0:07well. The gold and silver price are
- 0:10taking it on the chin this morning.
- 0:12But we're going to look at the reasons why that is happening
- 0:15and more importantly, the reasons why we invest in silver
- 0:19and gold. We need a good reminder right
- 0:22now, Volatility. The prices of the precious
- 0:25metals have always been volatile.
- 0:28Silver is a widowmaker. Silver will put you in your
- 0:34place. OK, so when we have moves,
- 0:38imagine like this morning, there's a move in the silver
- 0:40market to 2 1/2 percent. If that were to happen to the
- 0:44Dow Jones Industrial Average, all those, all those talking
- 0:48heads on CNBC would be crying and everything else.
- 0:52The volatility is a natural part of this market.
- 0:55The confusion, and there's a lot of volatility and confusion in
- 0:59the precious metals markets. They're feeling their way
- 1:02through what is a very difficult period of time, which will be
- 1:07coming at us. Let's go take a look at the
- 1:09headline now. This was from yesterday, but it
- 1:12gives us an idea about what's going on today.
- 1:15Yesterday CNBC was saying that gold advances as inflation data
- 1:22fuels a Fed rate, Fed fuels Fed rate cut optimism.
- 1:26So let's go out and take a look at the CME Fedwatch tool to see
- 1:32what they're predicting. Now this was yesterday's data
- 1:36where there was a 98% chance of 1/4 quarter point rate cut.
- 1:41Next Wednesday when Jerome Powell makes his big
- 1:44announcement. Let's update this and see if
- 1:48things have changed and why things have changed and why the
- 1:51gold and silver market. No, we're still at a 98% chance
- 1:55of a rate cut. So let's take a look at this
- 1:59piece of data that came out this morning.
- 2:02Wrong one. We'll come back to that one.
- 2:05We got producer price inflation that came in red hot in
- 2:08November. Yesterday was the consumer price
- 2:12inflation number. Today was the producer price.
- 2:15Producer prices came in higher than expected.
- 2:18But on top of that, guys, it is so critical that we understand
- 2:23all this confusion, all these, all these conflicting data
- 2:27points as we're living in this fantasy island, fantasy world
- 2:32economy, bubble gum, duct tape fantasy world, OK, Fiat money
- 2:37make believe, debt driven world. Gold and silver are going to
- 2:43make sense of it. Oh yes, and we are going to talk
- 2:45about $43,000 gold like the thumbnail said.
- 2:49And that is a real possibility. I'll stand by that till the
- 2:54very, very end. And it's all based on simple
- 2:57math. We'll, we'll take a look at
- 2:59that. But as we look at other data
- 3:01that came in today, so we know inflation's up, but then we got
- 3:05this piece of data, jobless claims explode higher in the
- 3:10first week of December. Now the number of Americans
- 3:14filing for jobless benefits for the first time jumped
- 3:17significantly last week that during what is supposed to be a
- 3:22seasonal, seasonal high hiring period.
- 3:26Remember that back in the old days before Amazon when the the
- 3:30jobs numbers would go up because all the retailers would hire a
- 3:33bunch of, are there even any retailers left anymore?
- 3:37So let's make a little sense of this.
- 3:40Let's go look at the US dollar and then let's take a look at
- 3:44all these data points. Jobless claims, PPI, we have got
- 3:49a rate cut from the ECB. We got to talk about that.
- 3:52But put it all together and talk about the reasons why it means
- 3:56we are OK with silver and gold. Don't forget volatility cuts
- 4:02both ways, but this is probably temporarily the biggest reason
- 4:08why right now gold and silver are getting clobbered and wrong
- 4:13one. Hold on here, where did it go?
- 4:17Did I lose it? Nope, there it is, the US dollar
- 4:20index. This my friends.
- 4:24Now the dollar. Look at the dollar is moving.
- 4:27Let's let's look at the one day chart here.
- 4:30The dollar is moving rather dramatically.
- 4:33I mean, look at this. I mean, these are big moves in
- 4:35the dollar, but if we look at a 5 day chart of the DXY dollar
- 4:40index, as you can see, I mean we got all the way down to one O
- 4:445.5 on probably Friday, yes, Friday of last week.
- 4:50And now we're all the way back to one O 6.5 when the when the
- 4:54dollar index goes up as of late, the price of gold and silver go
- 5:00down. We know the big picture, the
- 5:02DXY. You can see the abbreviation for
- 5:05it there. It's just a comparison of the
- 5:08United States and all of their allies.
- 5:12Fake Fiat make believe paper currencies.
- 5:15It's been 4 days, so I want to quickly remind you of something
- 5:19that's very critical, and we're going to talk about this more in
- 5:22a little bit. But someday us basement
- 5:27dwellers, excuse me, will be famous.
- 5:30Hold on here, Hold on. Got a little technical problem.
- 5:35OK, We'll be famous for having pointed this out.
- 5:38Well, we'll leave it right there.
- 5:39That's about where the US dollar index is right now.
- 5:43If you see my yellow arrow, as you can tell, there has been in
- 5:47the last what, 4550 years, hardly any time period where the
- 5:52dollar, and this is the dollar in, in relative terms has been
- 5:57higher than where it is right now.
- 6:00And to prove to you, prove to you undeniably that is that
- 6:05they'll say, oh, the dollar's strong, the dollar's doing
- 6:07great. The dollar right now is as
- 6:10strong as basic it's been at any other time in 50 years.
- 6:14So if we go all the way back here to 1985 when the dollar
- 6:18index was about where it is right now, about one O 6, one O
- 6:227, and they'll tell you, well, the dollars just as strong now
- 6:27as it was in 1985. This shows you how in real
- 6:31terms, the value of the dollar is gone down.
- 6:33Because, you know, if you took that same $100 bill today to the
- 6:39grocery store that you could have taken in 1985 to the
- 6:43grocery store, you might get what, a third, half, probably a
- 6:48third of the number of groceries today that you could have gotten
- 6:53in 1985 with that same $100 bill.
- 6:56Yet according to this DXY measure, the dollars at the same
- 7:01level. So let's talk about all of this
- 7:05and put it together and talk about a big warning, OK?
- 7:09And well, let's first let's talk and put it all together.
- 7:11We got producer price index, inflation up, CPI index up,
- 7:17employment numbers not looking so good first time unemployment
- 7:22numbers, Whoa, whoa, whoa. We've got something very
- 7:25interesting to talk about basement dwellers, when the
- 7:30inflation numbers are going up and these are the official
- 7:34numbers that we're getting from the Bureau of Labor and
- 7:37Statistics, They're telling us that inflation is picking back
- 7:41up and and they're telling us the jobless claims are on the
- 7:46rise. When you have inflation and a
- 7:50slowing economy, what do you get?
- 7:52Mix it all together and what do you get?
- 7:55You get stagflation, right? And people, we've not been
- 8:00talking about it as much. And especially the mainstream
- 8:03media, they haven't been talking about it as much.
- 8:06But what happens during stagflation?
- 8:10You know, do I need to remind you, right?
- 8:13Maybe you're not old enough to remember the 1970s and the
- 8:171970s. Gold and silver skyrocketed
- 8:20because there's no other the, the, the, the list of of, and
- 8:26this is happening in China right now.
- 8:28When the list of attractive investment options gets narrowed
- 8:33down, down, down, right, stocks aren't going to look good.
- 8:37The stock market, guys, the stock market's in a bubble.
- 8:40Who's going to buy residential real estate is an investment
- 8:43right now. It's in a bubble.
- 8:46I spit under my microphone. I apologize.
- 8:49So who's going to who wants to buy bonds, right?
- 8:52We know that there's this massive debt problem in the
- 8:54world is that becomes clearer and clearer to more and more
- 8:59people, right? They will move to gold and
- 9:01silver and we will likely see the gold and silver prices
- 9:05absolutely skyrocket and it in a world where we've got interest
- 9:10rates being cut, right? What did we hear this morning?
- 9:13See if I can get this. Here we go.
- 9:16The ECB, the European Central Bank today cut rates as
- 9:20expected. The euro tumbles after reference
- 9:24to restrictive policy is dropped.
- 9:26Europe is a major, major economic trouble right now.
- 9:30Germany is doing horribly. I don't think France is doing
- 9:33well, says as expected. The ECB cut rates to the by the
- 9:37bare minimum avoiding fit of A50 basis point cut with some people
- 9:43thought might happen when Europe's economy is and
- 9:46freefall, even though inflation remains sticky.
- 9:52Again, there it is right in front of us right there economy
- 9:58is in freefall, but inflation is sticky.
- 10:02Guys, we are going into a stagflation.
- 10:06The hens are coming home to roost and it is going to be a
- 10:10glorious period of time for those of us we who've invested
- 10:16in precious metals. Stagflation is absolutely,
- 10:20absolutely the most fertile soil that you could ever ask for, for
- 10:25the prices of the precious metals.
- 10:28So warning, I'm going to give you a warning and then we're
- 10:31going to go talk about $43,000 gold.
- 10:34And so get your pencils out and your paper and your calculators
- 10:37because we're going to talk about it's real.
- 10:40You may not like it that I'd say things like that.
- 10:43I believe in, I believe in $300.00 silver.
- 10:46I believe in $43,000 gold. Heck, I believe in $10 million
- 10:51gold. And we'll talk about that.
- 10:52But but first big warning or it it dawned on me this morning,
- 10:58you know, sometimes things just come to you like are we, are we
- 11:01in? Are we set up, being set up for
- 11:03a major free, free fall in 2025? Because right now all the
- 11:11expert, everybody's so excited that Donald Trump was elected
- 11:15president, right? The business leaders are
- 11:18excited. Everything's great, everything's
- 11:20wonderful. The stock market is near at or
- 11:24near all time highs. Everything is super high
- 11:28expectations. Everything is baked in right
- 11:32now, right? It's already adjusted for what
- 11:35is apparently going to be this new euphoric period of time that
- 11:41we're going to live in once Donald Trump becomes president.
- 11:44But what they're talking about doing, right, cutting major
- 11:47expenses, making massive changes, could create a lot of
- 11:52turmoil. Are we set up right?
- 11:55Think about it, the stock market at all time highs, real estate
- 11:58market at all time highs. Remember what we talked about
- 12:01with the Chinese, right? Like at some point it is all
- 12:05these things start falling apart and as people start thinking,
- 12:08wow, where am I going to put my money?
- 12:12I always have to bring it back to gold and silver.
- 12:14I believe it'll be gold and silver.
- 12:17Even gold prices are at or near all time high.
- 12:20What's the one thing that's not at our crypto?
- 12:24I've almost forgot everything. Does that make sense?
- 12:27Like right now, everybody's so excited that Trump got elected
- 12:31as president. So we got a stock market through
- 12:34the roof. You get everything's through the
- 12:36roof. It's all priced in right.
- 12:39The markets are forward-looking and, and, and, and so when
- 12:43reality sets in, right, that, that, and, and I'm not making
- 12:49any kind of political statement here.
- 12:52I'm just, I'm just assessing risk.
- 12:54You don't come here for me to say everything's awesome,
- 12:57everything's great because it's not.
- 12:59They've got major challenges ahead of them.
- 13:02What Vivac and Elon are talking about doing.
- 13:04These are major issues. So when reality sets in and,
- 13:09and, and you know, look, if the market, everything remains the
- 13:13same, Donald Trump's going to be put into office with an all time
- 13:16high stock market, all time high cryptos, Bitcoin and everything
- 13:21else, all time highs, real estate at all time highs.
- 13:25The bond market hasn't really adjusted to reality.
- 13:29I think potentially, potentially, I just want to make
- 13:32you aware that we could be in for some very, very crazy times.
- 13:37And Oh my gosh, I almost forgot this is, this is, this is
- 13:40critical as we're talking about the stagflationary environment
- 13:45and inflation taking off, right? Jobless claims went up, right?
- 13:49The economy, I don't know who knows, right?
- 13:51It's, it's so fake right now. But if we go into an A
- 13:55stagflationary environment where we have inflation, right, and a
- 13:59slowing economy, think about this.
- 14:02When it comes to inflation, the interest rate cuts that that the
- 14:07Fed has done to this point, it there's a lag effect, it takes
- 14:11six months to 18 months when they raise rates.
- 14:14It takes 6 to 18 months for that to really have its impact on the
- 14:18economy. When they cut rates, it's the
- 14:21same thing. So as inflation is already
- 14:24ticking up right now, we haven't really even begun to feel the
- 14:28full impact of the rate cuts that they've already done.
- 14:31And we're talking about cutting rates again next week.
- 14:34So nonetheless, all right, let's go.
- 14:38Let's go talk about $43,000 gold.
- 14:40Let's do the basic math. And we're going to go to the
- 14:43Silver Academy for this one where we read that.
- 14:50OK, here we are. Gold's historic bowl runs
- 14:54charting a path to $43,254 per oz gold amongst geopolitical
- 15:02tensions and uncertainty. Oh boy, I almost forgot.
- 15:05Guys, let's get a dose of reality here.
- 15:08Let's check on the gold and silver price.
- 15:10I know today is not a good day. Remember volatility?
- 15:13This is not updated. Let's see.
- 15:16OK, Silver's down $0.57. Earlier it was down $0.80, so
- 15:21we'll keep an eye on this and see how it does.
- 15:24Hey, if you waited till today to buy yourself some gold and
- 15:27silver, congratulations, you're getting a better deal.
- 15:31I might recommend that you consider checking out Pin Backs.
- 15:34They're an online bullion dealer and they are sponsor of Ron's
- 15:38Basement. I've worked with them.
- 15:40I worked with them buying silver before they sponsored the
- 15:44channel. I get overwhelmingly positive
- 15:47response from everyone in our community.
- 15:50The brothers that own the company or both Cpas, very high
- 15:54quality people. I feel privileged number one
- 15:57that they sponsor the channel, but they also help our community
- 16:01get more metal for their money because their prices and compare
- 16:04them for yourself are ultra competitive.
- 16:07Compare them to the big online bullion dealers in particular
- 16:11and I think you'll be very pleasantly surprised.
- 16:14They always have a great selection and they're a company
- 16:17that you can trust. I like I said, I hear over and
- 16:20over from everyone in the community how happy they are
- 16:23with Pmbec. So thank you Pmbecs for
- 16:25sponsoring Ron's basement. Oh yeah, and the gold price
- 16:31$2687.00. Not too bad.
- 16:34Let's go check out this 43,000. How do we get to $43,000 gold
- 16:40and are we crazy? No, I believe that it absolutely
- 16:43is in the cards during my lifetime.
- 16:45OK. And it's going to be it's going
- 16:49to be a a fun rise. So let's look at the previous
- 16:52big bowl runs in the gold price. Remember, we just this is 1970.
- 16:59Make sure I got everybody on the right page, which we do.
- 17:02This is 1970 to 19 eighty 1971 to 1980.
- 17:07We just talked about it during that period.
- 17:10OK, here, I'm going to Draw Something on here for you guys.
- 17:13This was the stag, the big S, the big S word.
- 17:20Wow, that's pretty good. This period right here, 1971 to
- 17:251980 gold went from like what, 35 bucks to, I don't know, 800
- 17:29bucks here. We can we'll go down here and
- 17:31read what he says. 1970 started at 35 when as high as $850 per
- 17:38oz. It went up 23 times guys, 2300%
- 17:46during that period because of stagflation.
- 17:48I'm going to yell at you for a minute.
- 17:52My mom used to always say to me, I got to get this through your
- 17:55thick skull. Apparently I have a thick skull.
- 17:57Maybe you do as well. OK, it went up 24X23X during
- 18:03that period because of stagflation.
- 18:06OK, I'm going to get up and I got to jump around because,
- 18:09guys, all the conditions that created that massive run from
- 18:141971 to 1980 are all in place now.
- 18:19Plus we've got even more conditions in place and the
- 18:22conditions that are in place are more extreme now.
- 18:27OK? So that can happen again, but
- 18:29we're not going to go that high. We're not.
- 18:31We're going to dial it back. Let's dial it back here a
- 18:33second, OK? The next run that you can see
- 18:38was from 1999, right after the tech bubble burst through 2011,
- 18:43during which the gold price went from here.
- 18:46We'll get rid of that went from what was it like $235 up to
- 18:52almost $2000.00. So we'll do a quick history
- 18:55lesson. The 1971, the price surge was
- 18:58driven by high inflation, political turmoil, energy
- 19:01crisis, and economic instability.
- 19:03The second gold bowl run. Let's focus on that.
- 19:06That wasn't so long ago. Oh, and by the way, during that
- 19:10period from from about 2000 to 2011, the silver price went up
- 19:16like 10X from under $5 to $50.00.
- 19:19But during that period, the gold price did climb by six 7 * 657%.
- 19:27This bull run coincided with several major events
- 19:31includingthe.com bubble burst. Rather, think about the tech
- 19:36stocks now, which are valued more highly right from any
- 19:41metric than they were duringthe.com bubble burst 911
- 19:46and the GFC. The price increase was fueled by
- 19:50economic uncertainties, loose monetary policies and growing
- 19:54concerns about the US global debt levels.
- 20:00OK, the US growing debt levels, Hold on, Let's just make sure I
- 20:05got you guys on the right screen, which I do.
- 20:08Let's go take a look at this. Do we have growing U.S. debt
- 20:12levels? No, no, that was during that.
- 20:16We're talking about 2000. Let's do The Time Machine here.
- 20:20Let's go back to the So right now, the US national debts at 36
- 20:23trillion. Where was it?
- 20:25If we do The Time Machine and go back to the year 2000, Whoa, I
- 20:30didn't realize 5 trillion. OK, this is the year 2000 up
- 20:36here in the right corner. the US national debt was $5 trillion.
- 20:41We actually apparently had a federal budget surplus at that
- 20:47point. See, it was green, $370 billion.
- 20:52Wow. OK, very interesting, very
- 20:55interesting. How do I get back-to-back to the
- 20:58mothership? There's the mothership.
- 21:00OK, All right. I'm going to show you the
- 21:04$43,000 gold right now. OK, so now the gold market has
- 21:10indeed entered a new phase after a period of consolidation from
- 21:132011 to 2024. It goes through all the reasons
- 21:18that we talked about on a regular basis.
- 21:20But here here's here's the third bull run takes gold to $43,254
- 21:27per oz. It's just math.
- 21:29The current gold price, this was as of yesterday about 2700.
- 21:34The gold prices can be volatile given the current price of 2700.
- 21:38We're going to calculate the potential here.
- 21:41We'll go down here and again, OK, The first gold bull run, the
- 21:47percentage increase was 2300%. The second bull run was 657%.
- 21:55You add those together and get the average and the average of
- 21:59those two numbers of those last two major gold bull runs is
- 22:041500%. If you multiply that right times
- 22:092717, which was the gold price yesterday, OK, you will get 43.
- 22:16So if we have an average return in the coming, let's say 10
- 22:21years, five years, 15 years, however long it takes, if we get
- 22:25an average return based upon the last two gold bull markets
- 22:30starting from where we are yesterday in the gold price,
- 22:33that would result in a gold price of 43,000.
- 22:36I know it sounds absurd, absurd. That would be if we have massive
- 22:42devaluation in the US dollar. That would be if if the US
- 22:46national debt continues to climb.
- 22:50And as we just saw from 2000 to 2024, that has been the case.
- 22:55But what about silver? The silver price?
- 22:58If you calculate the silver price at a 60 to one gold to
- 23:01silver ratio based off the $43,000 potential gold price,
- 23:08you would get $720.90 for the gold price.
- 23:15Let's go out and do an update on the silver and gold price
- 23:19because today is a very volatile day now.
- 23:22Silver down $0.78 guys, it is moving everywhere.
- 23:27Remember, volatility is part of the game, part of what we deal
- 23:31with Ray. We're going to talk about Ray
- 23:33Dalio, who's who's saying that you should buy gold over
- 23:38Bitcoin. Yes, that Ray Dalio.
- 23:40Let's talk about him and then we'll talk about this invasion
- 23:44of, of, of like minivan sized drones that nobody knows where
- 23:50they're coming from. There's AUS politician on the
- 23:53record saying that he thinks it's coming from an Iranian
- 23:56mothership that's like hovering off the east.
- 23:59I don't know, it's all very interesting.
- 24:02But let's talk about what Ray Dalio says about gold and
- 24:05Bitcoin because we need some good news this morning.
- 24:08First, who is Ray Dalio? Let me get that pulled up.
- 24:14Why do we want to listen to Ray Dalio?
- 24:16Ray Dalio is the founder of Bridgewater Associates, which is
- 24:19like one of the biggest hedge funds in the world.
- 24:22He is worth $14 billion. So he's a multi, multi
- 24:28billionaire. What I find interesting about
- 24:31Ray is this, he grew up in a middle class Long Island
- 24:35neighborhood and started playing the markets at age 12, OK.
- 24:39And he basically started his company and built it on his own
- 24:46out of a 2 bedroom apartment in New York City.
- 24:48So this guy wasn't handed hundreds of thousands, millions
- 24:52or billions of dollars. He earned $14 billion, which
- 24:56tells me he knows how to read markets.
- 24:59He knows how to to see what is really going on out there.
- 25:03And here's an interesting piece and we're going to talk about
- 25:07why Ray is saying gold is good and Bitcoin maybe not so good.
- 25:13This comes from Kitco and Ernest Hoffman.
- 25:15Bitcoin remains a speculative vehicle and won't work as a
- 25:20reserve. I prefer gold by our friend Ray
- 25:24Dalio. Let's listen to his reasons why.
- 25:27Excuse me, reasons why he's saying that.
- 25:30Hold on. Let's all have a quick sip of
- 25:31coffee and we'll get right into this article.
- 25:39OK, even with Bitcoin trading above 100K and crypto friendly
- 25:43US administration taking office, legendary investor in
- 25:47Bridgewater associate founder Ray Dalio still chooses gold.
- 25:52He says, Quote, I have a small percentage of My Portfolio in
- 25:55crypto, he said in a recent interview with Investopedia
- 25:59editor editor in cheap club silver Quote, I prefer gold.
- 26:05Dalio added that his exposure to both crypto and precious metals
- 26:10is driven by the necessity of holding alternative forms of
- 26:14money. Dalio said he chooses gold as
- 26:20the premier alternative currency because he believes crypto still
- 26:25faces unique challenges. Right, 'cause we're getting
- 26:28bombarded like all of a sudden the world has become crypto
- 26:32crazy after Donald Trump got elected as president.
- 26:36And, and it's kind of cast a shadow over the gold and silver
- 26:39market. So when Ray Dalio gives us his
- 26:42reasons why he prefers gold and silver over crypto, we're going
- 26:49to pay attention, he said. The reason I'm concerned about
- 26:51crypto is privacy. The government knows exactly
- 26:55what you've got, where it is, and it's also an and also an
- 26:59effective way of taxing it. Dalio said while Bitcoin has
- 27:05merit to it, the number one crypto has yet to fully prove
- 27:08itself. He's also unconvinced that
- 27:11Bitcoin is a tried and true hedge against inflation, while
- 27:17gold has a 5000 year track record as a hedge against
- 27:21inflation. Right.
- 27:23I'm sure you've probably heard thousands of times that it's
- 27:26been valuable for thousands of years that the same one ounce
- 27:31gold coin that today would buy a very expensive men's suit, that
- 27:37same gold coin would have bought a very expensive men's garment
- 27:41suit. Whatever they wore 1000 years
- 27:43ago, 3000 years ago, gold and silver are the ultimate forms of
- 27:49of protection against inflation. And Ray Dalio saying he's not
- 27:53convinced that crypto has proven that the reliability of crypto
- 27:58in terms of, let's say, does it correlate with inflation?
- 28:01Does it correlate with those things?
- 28:03No, it doesn't really not Well, it's still largely a speculative
- 28:08vehicle. He added that unlike gold,
- 28:10Bitcoin probably won't become a major reserve currency anytime
- 28:17soon. He says quote, it's not likely
- 28:20to be a reserve for a currency. It won't work here.
- 28:24Gold, I forgot to highlight. This is the highlight of the
- 28:27highlights. Gold is still the third largest
- 28:31reserve currency, the US dollar, the euro and gold and then
- 28:35Japanese yen. So I prefer gold.
- 28:38All right. And then I found it interesting.
- 28:40I'll show you guys this on Forbes.
- 28:43They have a list I want. I said, I wonder where he
- 28:45compares as a billionaire. I have no idea.
- 28:49Look at this. This is a list on Forbes.
- 28:51It's a real time list of the world's richest men.
- 28:55OK, the real time billionaires list.
- 28:58Look at Elon Musk. We talk about him a lot.
- 29:01He has a net worth of $433 billion dollars.
- 29:07Jeff Bezos right behind him at 243.
- 29:10I didn't realize Larry Ellison, 200 and these guys have hundreds
- 29:14of billions of dollars. But when you look at Elon Musk,
- 29:18I want to compare him to the silver market because Elon is
- 29:23running these industries right. Space, solar, electric vehicles,
- 29:29the name, a few AI that all are silver intensive.
- 29:33Do you realize the last data that I saw show that the entire
- 29:37silver mining industry. I want you to look at this
- 29:39number. Let me circle it.
- 29:41Elon Musk, I mean, that's absurd.
- 29:43He's going to be a trillionaire soon.
- 29:45Has $433 billion. The entire silver mining
- 29:51industry, the entire entire, all the silver miners added
- 29:55together. I've heard 19 billion.
- 29:57I've heard like 30 billion. Whatever it is, Elon Musk could
- 30:02buy the entire silver mining industry like 20 * / 15 times
- 30:09over. It is absolutely crazy to look
- 30:12at those numbers. Let's go.
- 30:14Since we're on Bitcoin, let's just talk quickly here about El
- 30:18Salvador, who's been making the news a lot.
- 30:22First, let's talk about because El Salvador was this big deal
- 30:26about they were moving to Bitcoin, blah, blah, blah.
- 30:29Well, listen to this now, El Salvador, this is breaking news.
- 30:33This is a crazy El Salvador eyes a $3 trillion gold mine beneath
- 30:40its soil. This comes from Newsweek and
- 30:44three trillion. Hold on here, you on the right.
- 30:47Are we in technical problems? Yes, we are.
- 30:49There we go. Sorry about that guys.
- 30:54There it is. El Salvador, $3 trillion gold
- 30:56mine beneath its soil. This is a lot of gold, OK And
- 31:03they because they had banned all metal mining, OK, because of
- 31:06environmental reasons and everything else.
- 31:09And then we know what went on with them and Bitcoin.
- 31:11But listen to this, because President Naive Bukili is now
- 31:15calling for a reversal of the landmark ban, claiming that
- 31:19beneath the country's fertile soil lies an untapped fortune.
- 31:23According to Bukili, the small Central American nation sits
- 31:27atop an estimated 3 trillion in unmined gold reserves, a
- 31:32potential jackpot that could radically transform El
- 31:36Salvador's financial future. Now El Salvador's interesting
- 31:42because because now we also know that El Salvador, let's go to
- 31:49this headline, Bitcoin is having a Bitcoin retreat, OK?
- 31:57El Salvador is reportedly in talks to scale backs its use of
- 32:02Bitcoin as legal tender and a reserve asset so that they can
- 32:07secure a $1.3 billion loan from the IMF.
- 32:13There's a lot going on in El Salvador.
- 32:15They have 3 trillion in, in, in, in gold underneath their soil.
- 32:21They're this country that supposedly, let's get this.
- 32:24I need to look you in the eye for this one.
- 32:26El Salvador has $3 trillion of gold in their soil, according to
- 32:29their president. They are also this country that
- 32:32was like the first to like completely adopt Bitcoin.
- 32:35Although when I understand only like 1% of financial
- 32:39transactions in El Salvador are actually conducted in Bitcoin.
- 32:43Don't quote me on that, that might be wrong.
- 32:45That just popped into my mind. And then on top of that, this
- 32:49country that's becoming rich on Bitcoin is going to the IMF to
- 32:53borrow 1.3 a billion dollars right when supposedly they have
- 32:59like 3000 times as much in gold underneath their soil and they
- 33:03own a bunch of Bitcoin which is at an all time high.
- 33:06Does this does any of this make sense?
- 33:08It gets even more bizarre when we hear about guys apparently
- 33:13like off New Jersey, there are drones the size of minivans that
- 33:18are like hovering above people's houses.
- 33:21It's becoming very bizarre. We even have AUS politician
- 33:25who's saying that it's might be like there's like it's let's go.
- 33:29I'll go out to the article. If this is crazy, very crazy.
- 33:35Hold on. I got to find it now.
- 33:37Here we go. OK, we'll come back to this.
- 33:40We'll come down to this in a second.
- 33:41Let's read the headline, though, because But the Pentagon denies
- 33:45a congressman's claim of an Iranian mothership launching
- 33:52drones off the US coast. Now, the US, the, the, the, the
- 33:56US government denies that this is the case.
- 34:00But they're also saying that they're not military drones.
- 34:02We don't know where these drones are coming from.
- 34:05OK, That was who? Anyway, she says they're not
- 34:09military drones. That's the press, Defense
- 34:11Department briefing. OK, if it's not Iran, a foreign
- 34:17entity or the US military, that would leave the people are like,
- 34:21what is going on? Because guys, apparently these
- 34:24are like big drones, like the size of cars.
- 34:27And people are saying they're like hovering above.
- 34:29That'd be like if you went outside your house and suddenly
- 34:32there was this. It's just like something out of
- 34:34a science fiction movie and the government saying we don't know.
- 34:39Well, that was, if you don't know, how can you say that?
- 34:42I don't know. I'm just throwing it out there.
- 34:44And then you have this, this US congressman who was on Fox News,
- 34:49OK, says the drones over New Jersey are from Iran, he said.
- 34:57And I listen to this. Congressman Jeff Andrew claims
- 34:59Iran has stationed a mothership. I'm just reporting the news guys
- 35:05off the US East Coast and reportedly launching drones now
- 35:10flying over New Jersey, a mothership.
- 35:14I don't I mean, I'm really this is like science fiction and it's
- 35:18and it's from Iran is what he's saying.
- 35:20And he's saying he has that from record on quote what he said
- 35:24reliable sources that he can't disclose because they told him
- 35:27on a condition of anonymity. I'm not, I'm not saying I
- 35:30believe that's the case and I'm not and I'm saying that the US
- 35:34government says that it's not the case, but a congressman, AUS
- 35:39congressman is telling us, I'll repeat that one this.
- 35:42And is this real or are we sleeping?
- 35:46Let's see if there's anything else down here we need to look
- 35:48at. There's like pictures of these
- 35:51things flying everywhere in videos you can watch.
- 36:00I it's just unbelievable truck sized drone crashes.
- 36:05OK, so maybe they'll figure out here, here we go.
- 36:08Since no one believes the aliens invading New Jersey, we're back
- 36:12to Iran, China World War three. Yeah, it is just absolutely, I
- 36:17mean absolutely mind numbing what we're experiencing in our
- 36:22world right now. Absolutely madding what we're
- 36:25experiencing right now with the gold and silver price as well.
- 36:31So you know what? On that note, let's go take a
- 36:33look at something good and optimistic.
- 36:37See if I can find it here. Here we go.
- 36:41Hey, on bad days, let's always we'll go back to our friend
- 36:43Gratty, OK? This guy has some very, very
- 36:47interesting technical analysis and a lot of people are
- 36:50following him. He's showing us again, guys on
- 36:54the silver cup and handle that we could break out to $370 per
- 37:01oz and maybe go much higher briefly at the end of the bowl
- 37:07market. All right, That's that's what I
- 37:09believe we're in for. I don't know how you feel about
- 37:12it. And I know that days like today
- 37:15when the silver and go, I mean, it's frustrating, right?
- 37:17I mean, it's volatility. It was fun.
- 37:21It was fun when silver was up a dollar not too long ago.
- 37:25It's not so fun when it goes down by a dollar.
- 37:27I get it. I understand.
- 37:29But the important thing to remember is an upward step
- 37:33movement in the markets. And when you look, the reason
- 37:37why we want to look at the big picture is because when we look
- 37:41at the big picture, when we look at this condition that our
- 37:45country is in, unfortunately, from a fiscal perspective,
- 37:50national debt, everything else. When we then zoom out and look
- 37:54at what the condition is in the world, right, On a geopolitical
- 38:00basis, where we are in a world that is massively changing.
- 38:03And then, OK, you look at what's going on in the United States,
- 38:07right? Reason number one, look at
- 38:09what's going on in the world, reason #2 And then you know the
- 38:12cherry on top, right? While we really in particular
- 38:16with both the metals, but for different reasons, the
- 38:19fundamental reasons, right the fact that the world if you look
- 38:24at gold, look no further than the fact that the world central
- 38:28banks are buying all the world's gold up.
- 38:30You know, choppity, chop, chop, chop.
- 38:33When you look at silver, the world is absolutely it's
- 38:37undeniable, right? Absorbing all the world's
- 38:41silver. Now we're at a little bit of a
- 38:43of a disadvantage in the United States because because most
- 38:47people are asleep, right? But the world is absorbing all
- 38:51the world silver. This is happening right now.
- 38:53That's the big picture. Yes, today stinks, right?
- 38:59But remember this. Hey, Cliff, thank you.
- 39:01Wow, alien donation. Can you believe this?
- 39:06Right? An Iranian mothership and a
- 39:08congressman is saying this. A congressman, not some guy in
- 39:12his basement in Saint Louis with a tinfoil hat on.
- 39:16A United States congressman is telling us there's a Iranian
- 39:19mothership off the coast of the United States.
- 39:22I don't know. You know, the government's
- 39:24denying it. I'm not saying I believe it, but
- 39:27I'm just reporting the news. We don't.
- 39:29We don't, you know, the fundamentals behind this have
- 39:34not changed. Let's do a little show and tell,
- 39:37OK? Look at this.
- 39:39It's a 3 oz Silver Heart that I bought for Susie and then I
- 39:43stole it for Valentine's Day one year, 3 oz.
- 39:47We get $300.00 silver. In U.S. dollar terms, it would
- 39:50be worth 1000. But we can't forget this stuff,
- 39:54right? This stuff, we don't want to
- 39:57value it in paper money. The paper money, there's only
- 40:00one way. There's only one way, guys.
- 40:05There's only one way that this gets fixed.
- 40:07Thanks again, Cliff for that awesome donation.
- 40:10There's only one way that basement dwellers that this gets
- 40:14fixed. Let's go back in The Time
- 40:15Machine one more time, because again, if we go back to the year
- 40:192000, the US national debt was. $5 trillion.
- 40:25Let's go back a little further. How far will they let us go
- 40:27back? If we go back to 1990, how old
- 40:31were you in 1990? OK, we had three trillion.
- 40:36Let's go back one more time. We'll go back 1980.
- 40:39I was 10 years old, $1 trillion. And I remember when that
- 40:44happened and people were like, Oh my God, the world's ending,
- 40:46You know, we're going to the United States is a trillion
- 40:49dollars in debt today. Where are we?
- 40:54Oh, here, let's go. Let's go see where they let's go
- 40:56see where they think it's going to be in 2028.
- 41:00Fifty $1 trillion. All right, so there's only one
- 41:06way. This is 2028.
- 41:08There's only one way, this 51. Let your brain absorb that $51
- 41:14trillion, a trillion, a trillion dollars.
- 41:20One trillion is 1,000,000 * 1,000,051 trillion.
- 41:25The only way that that can this is real.
- 41:27We can talk about all these fancy economic concepts.
- 41:30Everything else, this is real. Simple.
- 41:33The only way that that 51 trillion or today's 36 trillion
- 41:38gets paid off is with less valuable dollars.
- 41:42That's the only way it works. They have to make the the the
- 41:46the the unit of measure less valuable and when they make the
- 41:51unit of measure less valuable, that creates inflation that
- 41:55makes things like silver. Let's look at some more silver
- 41:58here here we go. Here's a beautiful.
- 42:00I love that with the Indian on it beautiful silver round.
- 42:04Look at that. OK, that makes this more
- 42:07valuable. This who cared?
- 42:09I know I get it. I'm, I'm look, I show you the
- 42:12prices measured in dollars, but you could be, we could be
- 42:15looking at the, the, the value of this one ounce of silver,
- 42:19which is what down a dollar today?
- 42:21Who cares, right? We could be comparing it to
- 42:24loaves of bread. I could be down here saying,
- 42:26look, guys, the price, the, the value of silver measured in
- 42:29bread went up or gas. I don't want to have gasoline
- 42:33down here, but you, you get what I'm saying.
- 42:35It's so easy for us and the only if we're going to measure it in
- 42:39dollars, OK, if we do that, the only way that this whole system
- 42:44works out is with the dollar that is worth much, much, much
- 42:49less. Let's run through and see what I
- 42:51missed today. Oh, Oh my gosh, I forgot.
- 42:53I want to. I'm going to pull up.
- 42:56Thanks, Cliff for that super chat, my friends.
- 43:00Thank you to channel sponsor Fortuna Mining.
- 43:04Here's their website if you want to learn more about them.
- 43:07Fortuna operating mines in Latin America and West Africa.
- 43:12A lot of great information, great company, great CEO and our
- 43:17friends at First Mining Gold. Another stock that I own.
- 43:21I don't get financial advice but I do own both these companies.
- 43:24I will only take sponsorships from companies in which I own
- 43:28what to me is a significant amount of shares.
- 43:31They are a gold development stage company with two multi
- 43:34million ounce projects in Canada.
- 43:37If you have questions about the company, they got a great guy
- 43:39that works there named Paul Morris.
- 43:42I always have his e-mail address in the description of all the
- 43:45videos. Oh my gosh, we almost forgot.
- 43:48Since we're at the debt clock, let's just make sure that the
- 43:51government oh wrong. Oh boy, this will be.
- 43:54I wonder if they have the silver to dollar ratio estimates.
- 43:58Wow, dollar to gold ratio. Dollar to silver ratio in 2028
- 44:04would be at almost 1400. But let's go back to present day
- 44:112024. Here we go.
- 44:14Let's just check on our dollar to silver ratio.
- 44:17It's always fun, OK? Oh boy.
- 44:19Yep, we're at 1107 paper dollars per per each one ounce of
- 44:28silver. That's mine.
- 44:30All right, guys. Hey, thank you to the
- 44:31moderators, Jake from Jake's Custom Parts.
- 44:34Thank you to Annie Oakley, the one and only for moderating big
- 44:37time. The Silver Shire helps out.
- 44:39Thank you to Silver Susie. Good to see you, Silver Surfer.
- 44:42You guys have a great day. OK, Thank you for all the
- 44:45support. Let's go.
- 44:47I don't want to, but let's do it one more time.
- 44:50Let's go check on the silver and gold price, see if maybe it
- 44:54didn't get worse and it did get worse.
- 44:57Silver down 87, volatility, gold down $35 per oz.
- 45:02Gold still around 2700. Silver above $31.00 per oz.
- 45:08We're in good shape. Don't forget, one year ago today
- 45:12I was down here talking to you guys and we had a silver price
- 45:16at 22 dollars, $23. Today we're at $31.00.
- 45:20If I'd sat down here a year ago and told you that in one year
- 45:25we'd be at $31.00, what is today, the 12th of 12/12,
- 45:29December 12th, right? 2023, one year ago when silver
- 45:35was at $23. Now you listen to me.
- 45:38Is this we need, we need to remain happy, grateful and
- 45:42optimistic. One year ago we sat down here
- 45:46when silver was a $23 and I said, guys, one year from now,
- 45:51today, where we are sitting right now live talking, the
- 45:55silver price will be $31.00. It'll be a full eight, $910.00
- 45:59higher than where we are. You would say we will be, I will
- 46:03be jumping for joy and I'd say, OK, well then remember that on
- 46:07that day because the price is going to be down.
- 46:09It's going to be down from 32 to 31.
- 46:11He said, I don't care, I'll still be happy.
- 46:13So let's be happy. Have a great day, OK.
- 46:18I will see you guys soon. Thank you for everything.
- 46:21Bye bye.
