Twenty-seven-year-old Glendale firefighter Nick Hutcherson, a Navy veteran and aspiring doctorate in physical therapy, died heroically battling a wildfire in western Colorado. His body arrived in Arizona draped in a flag, carried by fellow firefighters, as a grieving community lined the streets to honor his sacrifice. Amid a state still mourning the 2013 Granite Mountain Hotshots tragedy, Hutcherson’s life will be celebrated on July 11th at Dream City Church, with a public viewing the night before.
