- Josh Crowley: So Utah fans are the worst ever. And Nate Crowley: Yeah. Josh Crowley: it's pretty simple, but I'm about to go scorched earth. So I hope that you are Nate Crowley: You Josh Crowley: ready. I don't know if you saw that Drake Toll, who we gave a quick shout-out to in our drafting BYU Talking Heads episode, Nate Crowley: Mm-hmm. Josh Crowley: now has a spot on the KSL Sports Zone. he's gonna be featured on several national radio shows, including getting some time in Salt Lake City. And Utah fans came after him, insulted his looks, his personality, his professionalism, all these things because they don't like him. And I'm gonna get into why Utah fans are the actual worst. during the Pac-12 and independent era, there's this narrative that develops that the BYU Utah rivalry is essentially dead. There's a talent gap. BYU's never going to catch up. We're never going to beat the Utes again. They don't even care about us. They don't even consider it a rivalry. It's just the in-state game, right? We have Kyle Whittingham to thank for that. and then they dodge the game a couple of times so they can play Florida and get beat by a bad Florida team. Nate Crowley: Mm-hmm. Josh Crowley: It's just, it's stupid and ridiculous. Then Some years go by. Obviously, the USCUCLA news comes out that they're leaving, and you know, the Pac 12's a little bit on unsteady footing. And then, if you believe reports, there's a Utah professor that gives a wildly overestimated valuation of what a media deal for the Pac-12 should be worth and what the Conference should be demanding from media partners. And at least in part, that leads to the total dissolution of this beloved Pac-12 conference. The welcome to Pac-12 country, you know, make it your whole personality conference that you absolutely love. You are at least partially, if not primarily, responsible for the dissolution of it. And this leads to you being like a Lost puppy drowning in the ocean, floating away into obscurity with nowhere to turn, no money coming in, which by the way, because you're a public institution, we know that you operate in the red. You're literally just searching for anyone to rescue you, and the Big 12. Rose you a lifeline and make no mistake about it, the only thing that you bring to the table that the Big Twelve is interested in is the Holy War because they already have BYU, they already have the Utah market. It is the rivalry and the rivalry alone. You completely owe your membership in the Big 12 to your hated rival who you don't even want to claim as a rival. But then you have the audacity, despite this, to throughout this whole process of you. Seriously being threatened to go end up in the Mountain West Conference again. And you end up in a Power Four conference by the freaking skin of your teeth and the kindness of the Big 12, you still have the audacity to call the Big 12 a flyover conference and to claim that you're gonna enter the conference and just run the table and win this conference year in and year out, and then a Big Ten invite is coming your way. Meanwhile, BYU has entered this conference saying. We feel like this is a great fit. We're super excited to be here. We can't wait for new rivalries to develop with these other fan bases, these other teams. Everyone that comes to Provo has a fantastic experience. Everyone that interacts with BYU fans on Twitter has a fantastic experience and loves us because that's who we are. You come in, on the other hand, with this whole villain persona that you kind of want to take on, but then at the same time don't understand why everyone hates you. I don't get it. And then people like Drake Toll have the audacity to call a spade a spade and tell you that you guys kind of suck and you're kind of the worst fan base ever. You just cheer against BYU, which by the way is why the Big 12 didn't need to worry about getting the Salt Lake City market in their media deal because they already had it by having BYU, because you were going to watch BYU's games already, because you care more about BYU than you care about your own team. And so all of this leads To people like Drake Toll just calling it how it is, and now you hate him. And guess what? BYU fans show up for guys like Drake Toll. We listen to guys like Drake Toll. Of course he talks about BYU. For one thing, if anybody is closer to running this conference, it's these guys, not you. And so of course he's talking more about us. We Nate Crowley: You Josh Crowley: have a conference championship appearance already, which by the way, you haven't sniffed. And then you have the audacity to go after this guy because everything that he deserves is coming to him and he's getting success in your home market and shining a light on the Big 12 in Salt Lake City. I I just I cannot with this fan base, Nate. I need you to show your shirt, remind the people that Max was right, Max Hall was always right. Amen, Max. That is. My spiel. That is my soapbox. Utah fans are the worst. I I wish that we didn't give him ice cream when we play him at home. I'm so proud that we do that for everybody else. I'm so grateful that Kalani is not gonna be glazing Kyle Whittingham this year during Holy War Week. I I think that Morgan Scaly is an upstanding guy. I think he's gonna bring a lot more rationality to the rivalry, but make no mistake about it, Utah fans are the worst. They have only themselves to blame. And if you're a Utah fan that stumbled upon this video, first of all, shocking. Shocking that you're here, but also not. Nate Crowley: You Josh Crowley: But if you don't like the persona that I've just portrayed, you have only your own fan base to blame because this is all you're doing. And I rest my case. Nate Crowley: Well done. Josh Crowley: Anything you have to add to that? Nate Crowley: dude, we could put that into some AI chats and make a rap out of that. Give me five verses of rap god Josh making his hate speech against Josh Crowley: Mm. Nate Crowley: the University of Utah. I would just add a couple of things to it. Kyle Whittingham reinforced some of the ideas that you just put forth because he just went on to say that. Wow, the fans stayed around. I've coached at places where those fans have been gone a long time ago. And he's also reinforced the idea of the poverty that the University of Utah is when it comes to finances. because he's like, my gosh, now that I have this big 10 resources and money, per rumor Mark Harlan walked into Morgan Scali and Kyle Winningham's office and said, listen, I know you guys want both be the head coach, let's make you co-head coaches. And that's why Kyle left. So again, like you said, Utah fans are the worst, but it goes beyond that. I think that Mark Harlan perfectly encapsulates or personifies Utah fans as a fan base. They're so disagreeable. They're the worst fan base to interact with online. I could tell story upon story upon story about personal experience about dealing with Utah fans. They are completely the worst. Josh Crowley: They are. at some point when somebody shows you who they are, you just have to believe them. And these people Nate Crowley: Yep. Josh Crowley: have shown us who they are time and time again. and now I love dearly many diehard Utah fans. I respect them as spiritual leaders. I respect them as business people and personal mentors. I have many people who love the University of Utah who I also love. And I but I do think that their fan base as a whole embraces this villain mentality. They are the worst. it's just such a bad look, you know, for the conference when one of the leaders out there that's trying to get respect for our conference, trying to point to how great our conference is, trying to point to how great the Holy War is. think about being a Big 12 fan and embracing these new conference members. You have this long history with these long-standing members, and all of a sudden BYU and Utah walk in and it's Obvious that their rivalry is far more heated, far more fun, far more of everything that makes college football rivalries great than anything you have remaining in your conference. And you just kind of have to embrace it, or or you could be really frustrated about it. But people like Drake Toll are saying, No, our conference needs this. This is really good for us. And he's shining a light on it, and then he he just gets some airtime. In Salt Lake City and you come after him like that, like just just go touch grass, honestly, Utah fans, go touch Nate Crowley: Yeah, 100 % Josh Crowley: grass. I know you can't do it at Ricuckle Stadium because it's not grass, but find some Nate Crowley: You Josh Crowley: grass and go and touch it. okay. I need my heart rate. Thank you. Nate Crowley: I would add to that that the reason why they can't go touch grass is because believe it or not BYU is national champions when it comes to grounds keeping. That's a fact. Go check it. Josh Crowley: I just went to Ohio State's campus while I was in Columbus a couple weeks ago. And I gotta say, it it's a beautiful campus. I toured Ohio Stadium. There were some really cool things about it. but as I was walking through the grounds, I was like, man, this doesn't hold a candle to my alma mater, baby. It just doesn't. I mean, VOU landscaping, VOU grounds crew. Guys are also the GOATs. It's like we got the best mascot, we got the best grounds crew, we got the best backdrop in college football. Utah, like you you are still riding our coattails to this day. I know it's hard to hear. I know that you have two Rose Bowl appearances. By the way, I think Ohio State just scored again. yeah, just confirmed they just scored again. Nate Crowley: You Josh Crowley: I really wish you would have been left in obscurity, to be honest, and that the Holy War would Nate Crowley: yeah. Josh Crowley: have been an out of conference game at our discretion. I absolutely Nate Crowley: Yeah, true. Josh Crowley: think that you deserved that. okay, moving to our next spicy segment. I think I have a lot of BYU fans right now just rah, rah, yeah, like really rooting for us, really excited about the spicy things, brutally honest things that we're saying. I'm gonna say some more spicy things that maybe some BYU fans aren't gonna like to hear. And this also Nate Crowley: Yeah Josh Crowley: comes from my time touring at Ohio State. so big part of Ohio State tradition, obviously, is their band, right? They have the best dang band in the land. And I got a thorough history in the 90 minute long tour, by the way, Nate Crowley: Whoa. Josh Crowley: that I took of Ohio Stadium. of just the tradition of their band, the history of it, how highly competitive it is, and all these things. And it was cool. It's cool. I think you can see what the Ohio State band does. their formations legitimately do amazing things that are pretty mind blowing and their musicality is impressive. Now I do just have to preface this by saying, and I do not admit this often in my day to day life, but I was a drumline captain in high school. it's not something I advertise, it's not something I put on my resume. but yes, I I played percussion. I Nate Crowley: You Josh Crowley: was the drumline captain my junior year of high school. I have some marching band experience and I know band people. And with that, the Crowley boys have had a strong take about improving the atmosphere at Lavelle Edwards Stadium for quite some time. And I believe it was Nate himself who coined the phrase defund Nate Crowley: you Josh Crowley: the band. So Nate, will you please explain to us for a moment some of Nate Crowley: my gosh. Josh Crowley: the reasons why the Crowley boys would like to defund the Cougar marching band? Nate Crowley: There's a lot of reasons. Number one, as far as entertainment purposes go for half times, we have the 14, 16, 20 time national champion break dancing Cougarettes. What are we doing? What are we doing by putting out some amorphous blob of band kids and color guard kids that can't catch a dang flag. And it's like, what are we doing when we have elite, elite athletes? I would even as go as far as say that the Cougarettes are athletes. Like, what are we talking about here? Josh Crowley: Athletes. Yes. Absolutely. Nate Crowley: Let's, let's put them out there and they have more than just one routine. am good, good friends with former Cougarettes. Like, I could call them up right now and they could give me the scoop. they could put together a halftime show that would blow everyone out of their seats. And they do every single game, They come out there and they do their thing and it's amazing. And it gets everyone hype. And it's a different change of pace from football, So that's the first thing. Number two, the guy who's conducting and we get our, BYU gets a first down and we have the announcer come over the thing and he goes, that's another cougar, first down. And then he plays his little trumpet boop-a-doop and he's playing oftentimes Josh Crowley: Yeah. Nate Crowley: when our offense is doing a hurry up, trying to get to the line. and snapped the ball and it's like shut up just shut up you are not more important because he doesn't know a freaking thing about football the most one of the most important parts is the quarterback calling for the snap so it affects the game. And it's like, no one's here for the band, nobody. We're here to watch our top 15 ranked team play football. And if you cause a false start, then you're out. I don't give a rats. You're out. I cannot stand the band. And then there's other things. Josh Crowley: I know. Nate Crowley: When there's music playing over the sound system and they're playing too, it's just like, my gosh, like put a bag on my head. It's embarrassing. It sounds terrible. They're taking up prime real estate seats by putting them next to the end zone. Josh and I are diehard fans. Shocker to anybody watching this. And there is nothing that's more frustrating than us losing seats because band geeks, I'm just going to say it, are taking our seats that they couldn't care less about being there. Like they're there as like a homework assignment, essentially. Josh Crowley: No, okay. Nate Crowley: and then if we want to get specific, I think it was two years ago, BYU Josh Crowley: Please do. Nate Crowley: BYU is having one of the best seasons they've had in a while in 2024. And they decide, Mario Super Mario is their go-to halftime performance and it was Josh Crowley: It hurts. Honestly, it hurts as bad as when we went through the worst moments in BYU football history. Just to remember this, by the way. Nate Crowley: Yeah. 100 % Josh Crowley: Like that is the level of embarrassment that I feel about this halftime routine. It was so bad. It was so bad. Nate Crowley: It kills me. we know that we're weird. But a BYU football game, I'm sorry. That's just not our time and place to be weird. and into Super Mario. I love college football bands as part of like the tradition of college football. Also, their uniforms were wearing tan well into the 2010s. And it's like, guys, get with the program. So again, I wouldn't be sad to see all Josh Crowley: Yeah. Nate Crowley: the band lose all their funding. I can't tell you the last time they did any sort of formation that looked impressive at all. Josh Crowley: Absolutely and and I will even go as far as to say that right before halftime while the band is actually preparing for their halftime show and so they are not in the stands and so the fight song gets played over the loudspeaker, the recording of it, it's a better experience for the whole crowd to cheer along to that version of the fight song because we all finish at the same time, which is not the band's fault. The the sound having to travel it's just the nature of sound. But it's actually nice when the whole stadium finishes go cougars at the same time I'm totally fine with them still being a part of the game day experience. If they want to be on the field for to play the national anthem like they do, to play the fight song before the game, totally fine. Then march out of the stadium and wait till the end of the game to welcome the fans with your loud whatever you want to play, whatever victory song, if it's the fight song, if it's if it's celebrate good times, like I don't care. That's great. Heck, even march the team in front of the cougar walk like you do, because that feels very college game day-esque. But you they are adding nothing to the in-stadium experience. Their halftime shows have not been exciting or impressive, I know we've lost some people. I know there's some people out there that are like, you guys are being really mean to the band. I know. That there are members of the band who are football knowledgeable, who are there watching the game, dialed in, but it is a very small percentage in my experience. And there's not enough ball knowledge to know when to play, when not to play. And then, like, you know, we didn't even touch on popcorn popping, Nate. We didn't even touch on that. And it's just like, I don't care if we are up on Utah Tech 63 to 7. I don't care. Popcorn popping is not the song that you play at a football game. you don't do it in front of 65,000 rabid college football fans who are there to cheer on war. Let's just call football what it is. War. It just it doesn't fit the vibe. please defund the band. Please find ways to include them in the game day atmosphere and other ways and give up their prime seating Nate Crowley: the last thing I would say is if the BYU's band was elite, this conversation completely changes. You and I went to the BYU Texas game Josh Crowley: Absolutely. Nate Crowley: and that band was elite. Number one, it had numbers. It was just a bigger band, but they were top tier. It was almost military-like, which is war, right? Josh Crowley: So there is two very hot, spicy takes, brutally honest takes. I I watched back a couple of our episodes, Nate, and I felt like. We call ourselves brutally honest. We gotta be brutally honest. And I felt like we were getting too vanilla. And so there Nate Crowley: Okay. Josh Crowley: you go. tell us in the comments if you disagree. If you think Utah fans are great, if you think that the band is great, by all means, please call us out. I think you're gonna have a tremendously difficult time convincing us. as you can tell, we we happen to feel strongly about a handful of things as it relates to BOE football, quick follow-ups from predictions on last week. you correctly predicted The first touchdown of the season would go to Legend Glasker. Props to you. But nice work, nice work on the first touchdown Nate Crowley: Thank you. Josh Crowley: call. That's impressive. we also predicted scores. Nate's score prediction was seventy two to six. Mine was fifty-two to seven. So a quick rundown of how we're keeping track of scores this season. So ten points for guessing the right winner, automatic. So if you if you correctly predict whether we're gonna win or lose, then you can earn up to ten points for getting the exact score of either team. Then if you're one point off of their correct score, you get nine points, and so on and so forth until you get to zero. And then if you get both team scores exactly right, you get a bonus 20. So the maximum you could score is 50. That makes sense. So by my math, that that has you at 19, because you were one off of Utah Tech score and nine off of our score. and you correctly predicted that we would win. I scored twenty because I got Utah Tech score exactly right and also predicted correctly that we would win. So twenty to nineteen, it's a tight race. We'll be it'll just be running score as the season goes along here. I think it's become clear to anyone that's been with us from the beginning that your BIU history knowledge is a little bit off the charts. So wanna start a weekly segment where Nate Crowley: Okay. Josh Crowley: it's see how far Nate goes deep in his bag of BYU sports knowledge. So My challenge for you today is I want you working backwards from this year to see Nate Crowley: Mm-hmm. Josh Crowley: how far back you can go, naming the game one quarterback starter for the Cougars. Nate Crowley: Okay, so 2026, Beerbachmeyer, 2025, Bearbachmeier, 2024, Jake Retzloff. 2023 Keaton Slovis. 2022 Jaren Hall. 2021 Jaron Hall. 2020 Zach Wilson. 2019, Zach Wilson, 2018, Tanner Mangum, 2017, Tanner Mangum, 2016, Taysom Hill, 2015, Taysom Hill, 2014, Taysom Hill, 2013, Taysom Hill, 2012, Riley Nelson, 2011, Jake Heaps, 2010, Jake Heaps, There's a slight so the twenty ten openers against Washington and Jake and Riley Nelson split reps that entire game and they have the exact same yardage, fun fact at the end of that game. I actually think Riley Nelson takes the first snaps. So it's actually twenty ten Ry Riley Nelson. Two thousand nine, eight and seven, Max Hall, two thousand six, two thousand five, John Beck, two thousand four Man, I still think it's John Beck in 2004. 2003 to open up the game one starter. I've got two names in my head. I've got Matt Barry and then I have Brett Angeman. I'm gonna go Brett Angaman in two thousand three, two thousand two. two thousand two is the Mat Berry year. Man, I'm gonna go Brett Angeman again. That seems crazy, but I'm gonna go Brett Engeman in 2003 and in 2002. 2001 Brandon Domin 2000 to start the season. at Florida State. it's not Brandon Dome and Josh Crowley: I was in the Nate Crowley: I'm gonna have to pass on 2000. Then 99 is Kevin Federick. 98 is Kevin Federick. 97, I think, is Kevin Federick. Then 96 and 95 are Steve Sarkeesian. Four man, the gap between Ty Detmer and Steve Sarkeesian I think it's John Walsh, I think, is between those two. or John Walsh. Ninety two is Sean Covey, I think. I think Covey's in Josh Crowley: That's right. Nate Crowley: there. And then ninety one is Detmer, ninety is Detmer, eighty nine. I'm gonna I'm gonna cut it there 'cause then I have a big jump all the way until like It's Jim McMahon and Steve Eighty's Josh Crowley: That's wild, dude. Nate Crowley: I'm gonna miss some there, but give me give me my results here. Josh Crowley: Okay, Nate, that was incredible. So just to give you your results here. So you were you were correct. Bear, bear, Jake, Keaton, Jaron, Jaron, Zach, Zach, Tanner, Tanner, Taysom, Taysom, Taysom, Taysom, Riley, Jay Keeps. You're exactly right. 2010. Riley Nelson takes that first snap. Jay Keeps plays in that game. Then 07-09 is Max. four to six you were correct about that John Beck and then we get back into yes Matt Berry three then two Brett Angaman Brandon Doman two thousand one and then two thousand that you couldn't come up with that is Brett Angaman You had Kevin Frederick. Kevin Federick. And then you're wrong in ninety seven. it's not Federick. Paul Schumacher, in ninety seven. And then yeah ninety five ninety six Sark. You had John Walsh. 93, 94. and then 92 is also John Walsh, not Sean Covey. Nate Crowley: Correct. Correct. Josh Crowley: and then yeah, so you got you got, you know, basically three incorrect going all the way back to nineteen ninety. And Nate Crowley: you Josh Crowley: eighty nine, interestingly, is Detmer as well. So you you kind of cut off there, but Nate Crowley: Yeah. Josh Crowley: Very impressed. we'll we'll keep testing your BYU knowledge from week to week. Nate Crowley: Thank you, thank you. Josh Crowley: With that being said, Nate, let's get into kind of our overall takeaways. We had a great first game, I think, all in all. anything from this past weekend that you wanted to comment on? Nate Crowley: Yeah, so first of all, so yes, I did call it the Legend Glasker first touchdown, but I also mentioned Cannon DeVries as one of my sleeper picks for the season. Josh Crowley: Yes, you did. Nate Crowley: And sure enough, there he is being, you know, Parker Kingston 2.0. seemed to be like everything that we ever wanted in a kick returner and punt returner. So. I'm super stoked about that. I was very pleased by how the game started offensively, obviously defensively too, with getting a pick on the first play of the game. Poor Utah Tech. I mean, so we had a short field. So when the first play of offense was already in the red zone, it was still a great play. It was like a seven yard out. or a little comeback route to Casper. I loved it. And then I think it's our third drive of the game is like a four-verts deep bomb. I think it's to Reggie is who he ends up throwing it to. And I'm like, I absolutely love that. it's weird that LJ the last two years hasn't scored a touchdown in our. cupcake home opener. It's really weird that that just kind of happened that way. A-Rod on coordinator's corner did say that he was trying to get LJ eight runs and he got the ball seven or ran the ball seven times. So I love that. I love hearing that. Journey Tonga, bro, we could talk about him. That one run where he jukes left, he floats. And it's just like, and then he. Josh Crowley: it's crazy, yeah. Nate Crowley: The end of his run, he does the D'Anthony Thomas from Oregon where he gets the guy to turn around and he's weaving back and forth and making the guy literally just run. Like I was like, dude, that's spicy stuff. Devon Eka looked like he was great. So obviously we're bummed about Sione Moa. I definitely don't expect him to suit up this game against Arizona, which is a bummer. But man, Josh Crowley: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Nate Crowley: I'm feeling good between. Those two impressed in wrecks, I'm like, I think LJ is going to get enough blows that we feel comfortable with those guys behind them and stuff. then, I mean, we could go on and on about Legend Glasker. I mean, I'm hearing in the text threads and the insider groups that I'm part of that coaches were saying this guy could start for SEC teams, and they're floored that we got him. I would say it accomplished everything other than Raider Damouni and Sione Moa. It sounds like though they're not season ending. this might be a brutally honest hot take, Raider has been a little bit disappointing to me as a recruit. And that's probably just because he committed to Josh Crowley: And I'll Nate Crowley: us when he was in eighth grade. Josh Crowley: in twenty seventeen. Yeah. Yes. Nate Crowley: Yeah, like a long time ago. So maybe I think that's part of it, that we just have been at high expectations for him. But I feel like post mission has been really hard to get rust off his legs. And so I'm kind of excited to see Tommy process out there. And if I was the DC, if I'm Kelly Papinga, I'm putting Fallow Tow as my strong safety, because I like him in the box. And I'm putting Tommy as free safety, because I think he's got better speed. And I think that he can be more of a ball hawk back there. So there might be another hot take for you. Josh Crowley: Well, and honestly, I know I mean maybe it's just that we're thin at the nickel spot, but you kinda wonder if Canon de Breeze doesn't deserve a little bit of run in that safety spot too, 'cause I think he's physical and fast. I think he Nate Crowley: Yeah. Josh Crowley: could bring an element there. And it seems like those guys all get cross trained a decent amount in fall camp. I mean I just thought man I love BYU football. Like it was just it was clean. It was it was surgical. It there was burst. I thought the LJ's burst like looked faster than he's ever been, but still just as strong and physical. If again we can just keep people healthy, which we probably don't have time for more hot takes, but we haven't gotten into on this podcast. How I just don't understand why it feels like BYU is always banged up. Why are we always banged up? how do we always have just these terrible breaks with, you know, Keanu Tanovasa Nate Crowley: Yeah. Josh Crowley: falling into Raider de Muni so hopefully this injury thing doesn't become a large part of this season. Nate Crowley: we did also call Kendall Wall. We've been hearing a lot about him in fall camp. That dude made some sweet plays in the Utah Tech game. Josh Crowley: field tackle. Yeah. Nate Crowley: Great the future feels bright for him. You called out Braxton Lindsay who? Got some playing time too. He looked twitchy He looks good. And then dude, we I don't think really many people noticed kpop called him out as his defensive player but Cade Uluwabe Looks like the truth man that guy completely like Josh Crowley: yeah. Nate Crowley: on the play that Raider gets hurt, watch him. It's a screen. He recognizes it's a screen. And he flies through that guy. And it's like, he just does one of these as his celebration. And I was like, good heavens. I never played football. And I couldn't play football. If I ever got hit by him, mean, SOL, I'm gone. It's the end of my life. Josh Crowley: You're dead. You're gone. Nate Crowley: It's been a good one. Josh Crowley: looking forward to Arizona. I have not watched the NAU game. I've just kind of seen box score stuff, which I mean, hey, holding a team to negative rushing yards is Hard to do no matter the level of the opponent. I think it's gonna be really challenging. I think that they've given us lots of locker room bulletin board material. Brent Brandon even made some comment that he felt like it didn't make a difference when they played a couple years ago and got absolutely smacked, by the way. and I'm like, okay, I I mean if you really want The Rock to have reason to bring it to another level. Be my guest. So score predictions Nate Crowley: Yeah, I would... Josh Crowley: as a recap, Nate, Nate Crowley: Yeah, I originally I've said 3220 and I'll stick to it. That being said, simply because of the bulletin board material that you just pointed out, it would not be that crazy to me if we run away with this one. I really kind of feel in that way the closer the game gets. we've just had our way more so with Arizona and no Fafita specifically. I think it's just a huge game. their DC said that he Josh Crowley: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah, no, you're right. Nate Crowley: was preparing for this game specifically on January 4th. If I were to make a sign or get to the game, I would literally want to just make sure I was there early enough to see him and just be like, January 4th wasn't going to get you enough. I really think our defense looked like they were up to the task at stopping Noel Fafita. I think that's the main top tier task. And second to that is our offense is going to be good enough to put up points. And all at this, I think that we were going to run away with the game last year if it weren't for the stupid rain delay. A-Rod even noted after the game last year that they had two game plans because they knew that there might be a rain delay. And basically it was chuck the rock for the first game plan and that the second one was run the ball And we saw how the first game plan was going with chucking the rock. We went up 14-0 just like that. So there's my hot take is that I think that our team has a little bit of revenge on their mind because it was way closer than it should have been last year. Josh Crowley: Arizona put up what 35 points on NAU and and I just said that they were gonna put up 24 on our defense. There's no way. I think that we know them too well. I think we know how to stop Noah Fafita too well. it's at Laval. I mean, I think that they're gonna really empty the kitchen sink, so I'm still gonna give them 20. But I'm actually gonna say that we beat sort of handily. you know what, give me 38, 21. and yeah, I I actually after talking, I feel good. I feel good. Mr. Hyped Man's got me hyped. And I think I we have every right Nate Crowley: That's right, that's right! Yeah! Let's go! Josh Crowley: to believe that our team is gonna win every game. And we are. Man, let's go.
