- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Beca Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two time People's Choice Award winning podcast.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in?
- 0:15Speaker 3: Is that scrubbing in life with my scrubbing in wife?
- 0:21Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 0:22Speaker 1: Love is in the air. That's really the theme of
- 0:25Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Actually it is the theme of twenty
- 0:28Speaker 1: twenty five because I got married this year and you
- 0:31Speaker 1: got proposed to and you proposed Yeah.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Yeah, So twenty twenty five was the year of.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Love, l ov love, love and commitment.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Yes, locking it down? Yeah, the old ball and chain, right, yeah.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Yeah, the old volunteer. Yeah.
- 0:51Speaker 1: I feel like there was still stuff we didn't get
- 0:53Speaker 1: to about your proposal. But do you feel like we
- 0:55Speaker 1: covered everything?
- 0:57Speaker 2: I feel like we did. Is there anything that I missed?
- 1:02Speaker 2: I felt like we covered everything.
- 1:07Speaker 4: And I'm trying to think if I have any lingering questions, I.
- 1:10Speaker 5: Will say picking on an outfit was interesting because first
- 1:13Speaker 5: of all, I sent us like, I sent a voted
- 1:16Speaker 5: to Tanya of like I think this is the outfit
- 1:18Speaker 5: I was gonna wear.
- 1:19Speaker 2: And it wasn't the exact outfit. It was similar, but like.
- 1:23Speaker 5: Whatever, and she goes cute, no, excellent, nothing, so like
- 1:27Speaker 5: not Tanya energy.
- 1:29Speaker 2: It was like she does not like the outfit.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I need to preface this because the picture that you
- 1:34Speaker 1: sent me wasn't even like a good photo.
- 1:36Speaker 3: It was like a photo of like a TikTok.
- 1:39Speaker 5: Yeah, because it's all I had. It was like a
- 1:41Speaker 5: screenshot from a TikTok. Okay, so you see the outfit.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Oh, it's blurry and it's like far away. It was
- 1:47Speaker 1: not a good photo. Yes, show the people the photo.
- 1:49Speaker 3: I'm gonna ask.
- 1:50Speaker 2: I'm gonna ask what chatchypt easton? Actually, oh thank you.
- 1:56Speaker 3: I thought you're gonna ask.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Uh And I would like to give you my second
- 2:04Speaker 1: uh rebuttal.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Okay, can you see that that's a very cute outfit.
- 2:12Speaker 5: Cute?
- 2:12Speaker 1: I said, cute, but you understand that, like yeah, okay,
- 2:17Speaker 1: it's also jingle ball day. Okay, So I see it,
- 2:22Speaker 1: and I do feel I felt bad when you were
- 2:24Speaker 1: like not the response I needed. I was like, oh
- 2:26Speaker 1: my gosh, I'm a horrible friend. She's literally proposing to somebody.
- 2:29Speaker 1: She sent me a picture of her outfit, but like
- 2:34Speaker 1: she's proposing today and she sends me this picture and
- 2:38Speaker 1: I just said cute like I. In hindsight, I felt
- 2:40Speaker 1: very bad and I felt like a horrible friend. But
- 2:42Speaker 1: I did, like I got the on jingle ball days,
- 2:45Speaker 1: it's just like so frantic, do you know what I mean?
- 2:48Speaker 1: And so I was like very just frantic, Like I
- 2:50Speaker 1: was like getting my hair makeup done, trying to get
- 2:52Speaker 1: out the door, running late, like all the things. And
- 2:55Speaker 1: I didn't give you the attention that you deserved.
- 2:58Speaker 5: And an exclamation point would have gone far. It wasn't
- 3:01Speaker 5: like you saying cute, even if you're like, oh my gosh,
- 3:05Speaker 5: that's so cute.
- 3:06Speaker 2: I'm sorry I'm running late for jingle ball. That would
- 3:10Speaker 2: have worked.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I should have given a little more content, but
- 3:13Speaker 1: it's okay. You know, I'm learning a lot about myself
- 3:15Speaker 1: and there's room to grow.
- 3:16Speaker 2: It's okay, and there's room to be better. I ended
- 3:19Speaker 2: up change I like I had the same back.
- 3:23Speaker 5: It was basically the same outfit. I just had the
- 3:25Speaker 5: jacket on the match's skirt. That's what I changed. Yes,
- 3:30Speaker 5: And I posted the fit before I posted anything about
- 3:34Speaker 5: the proposal, and I got a lot of validation. So
- 3:36Speaker 5: I was like, it doesn't matter. I'm saying my my
- 3:40Speaker 5: like sadness was gone. I was like, Okay, it was cute.
- 3:43Speaker 5: But my other thought was like I didn't know what
- 3:45Speaker 5: she was gonna wear. And I kept telling to him
- 3:47Speaker 5: because Haley's very she loves cozy, she loves casual, and
- 3:50Speaker 5: I was like, she might go to the tea ceremony
- 3:52Speaker 5: in sweats, like I don't know.
- 3:54Speaker 3: And I was like, you like cute sweats, elevated sweats.
- 3:57Speaker 2: No, no, maybe, I don't know, maybe a row.
- 4:00Speaker 5: Don't know how shoot, So I was like, can you
- 4:03Speaker 5: have like tell her the tea ceremony, you know, it's
- 4:06Speaker 5: a ritual, so basically.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Let her know it's something she should be dress. Yeah.
- 4:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:13Speaker 2: So when I was.
- 4:14Speaker 5: Picking my outfit, I was like, I have to kind
- 4:17Speaker 5: of match her vibe because I can't go to like
- 4:20Speaker 5: I can't be in like auge dress, Like yeah, that
- 4:23Speaker 5: would be unfair to like catch her off guard and
- 4:26Speaker 5: be like totally.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Off you know.
- 4:29Speaker 5: So that was that was fun, like choosing my outfit
- 4:31Speaker 5: that was like the cutest outfit I had for the trip.
- 4:33Speaker 5: Everything else was pretty chilling casual.
- 4:35Speaker 2: So I was like this is.
- 4:39Speaker 5: Because oh and then the day that they got to
- 4:42Speaker 5: the hotel the day before I proposed they had gotten
- 4:45Speaker 5: there in the morning.
- 4:45Speaker 2: I just stayed to my room the whole day. I
- 4:47Speaker 2: did not leave my room.
- 4:48Speaker 5: Because I was and I had her location so I
- 4:51Speaker 5: could see she wasn't at the hotel. But I was like,
- 4:53Speaker 5: what if it's.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Wrong, or like, what if you're like enjoying a nice
- 4:57Speaker 1: cup of macha or something and they come back.
- 5:00Speaker 5: That's what I'm saying, Yeah, because I was like, maybe
- 5:02Speaker 5: I could go down to the spa and you just
- 5:04Speaker 5: like chill use the amenities.
- 5:05Speaker 2: But I was like, what if they come down to
- 5:07Speaker 2: the spa? How horrible would that be? No, So I
- 5:09Speaker 2: was just locked in my room all day.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Did you watch anything good?
- 5:13Speaker 5: No? Because I didn't have my VP, I couldn't get
- 5:15Speaker 5: my VPN thing to work.
- 5:16Speaker 1: So I was just raw dogging twenty four hours and
- 5:20Speaker 1: tell a lot of TikTok.
- 5:21Speaker 5: I called a lot of people that day, So I
- 5:23Speaker 5: did that, but yeah, a lot of that. I gone
- 5:27Speaker 5: to seven eleven because the Japan and the seven Eleven's
- 5:30Speaker 5: in Japan have like the best snacks.
- 5:32Speaker 4: I've heard stories.
- 5:34Speaker 2: You would, and so I stocked up the night before.
- 5:38Speaker 2: So I had a lot of snackies that I was
- 5:40Speaker 2: eating and stuff. But yeah, it was a full day
- 5:42Speaker 2: of solitude with my thoughts. Wow, but I do well,
- 5:46Speaker 2: I do fine with that.
- 5:49Speaker 3: So now you're officially you're engaged. Hayley's engaged. The year
- 5:56Speaker 3: is ending and a new year is upon us, the
- 6:01Speaker 3: year of mom.
- 6:03Speaker 1: M m, yes, it is the year of mom. I
- 6:07Speaker 1: was thinking more along lines of for you, the year
- 6:10Speaker 1: of planning.
- 6:12Speaker 5: Oh, wedding planning. Yeah, I mean, I'm assuming this will
- 6:15Speaker 5: be the year. If the plan is to have the
- 6:18Speaker 5: wedding in twenty twenty seven, which is kind of what
- 6:20Speaker 5: we thought.
- 6:21Speaker 2: This would be the year that we planned.
- 6:23Speaker 5: Although you planned your quite fast and it's starting the
- 6:26Speaker 5: next year.
- 6:27Speaker 1: When I think about it, I'm like, even though it
- 6:29Speaker 1: took us a year and a half from proposal to marriage,
- 6:33Speaker 1: we really planned. We locked in our venue in October,
- 6:36Speaker 1: so we had basically November, December, January, February. We had
- 6:39Speaker 1: four months to plan our wedding.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Yeah, but it was amazing.
- 6:42Speaker 5: So it makes me feel less daunted by the idea
- 6:45Speaker 5: of planning for a long time.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Yeah, you really can take your time, like you can
- 6:50Speaker 1: like to like find you know what I mean, like
- 6:52Speaker 1: find your plan, like step by step you do the planner,
- 6:55Speaker 1: and then you you can give yourself so much time
- 6:57Speaker 1: to meet with various different planners. Then you can scout locations,
- 7:01Speaker 1: like you can spend a couple of months like scouting
- 7:03Speaker 1: different venues, you know, like we did it all.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I know.
- 7:08Speaker 5: I've had a lot of planners reach out, you know,
- 7:10Speaker 5: so I'm like I just need to go through and
- 7:12Speaker 5: like meet with them and see who's going to be
- 7:14Speaker 5: the best fit. But I also thinking about the location
- 7:19Speaker 5: because even that's like the biggest factor, I know, being
- 7:23Speaker 5: in Japan, because he was like, do we get married here?
- 7:26Speaker 5: And I'm like, this is so far like if we
- 7:29Speaker 5: did something super intimate, like I could see as doing it,
- 7:32Speaker 5: but it is such a far trek for people, and
- 7:36Speaker 5: we would need to get there like at least a
- 7:38Speaker 5: week before to feel totally rested.
- 7:42Speaker 2: But you could do though, I know.
- 7:44Speaker 1: That was like we know we wanted to do Europe.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Europe was like our first Like.
- 7:49Speaker 5: Well, you can just get places and venues for so
- 7:52Speaker 5: much cheaper than you can out here in the States.
- 7:56Speaker 5: It's so expensive here, yeah, and you can get like
- 7:58Speaker 5: a castle in your for nothing.
- 8:01Speaker 1: That was like our big thing, like we were like
- 8:03Speaker 1: literally gonna do it. We've had a wedding planner in
- 8:06Speaker 1: Italy and we were like scouting venues. We like put
- 8:09Speaker 1: like money into it, like we were gonna like do
- 8:11Speaker 1: it there, and then it came down to like being
- 8:15Speaker 1: jet lagged. So we were like we'd have to get
- 8:17Speaker 1: out there, you know however long ahead of time, and
- 8:19Speaker 1: it's harder for us because I have my full time job,
- 8:22Speaker 1: we have the kids fifty percent of the time, like,
- 8:24Speaker 1: and then a lot of people in our lives, like
- 8:27Speaker 1: in our immediate families all have kids in school, and
- 8:30Speaker 1: it was just like it's too it was just too much,
- 8:34Speaker 1: so we scrapped it.
- 8:34Speaker 3: But we were like fully in Italy for like three
- 8:37Speaker 3: months like scouting yeah.
- 8:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:40Speaker 1: We had like a spreadsheet with like venues and costs
- 8:42Speaker 1: and like wha yeah.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Yeah, we have to kind of narrow that down.
- 8:46Speaker 1: So it is so special too, It's like it really
- 8:49Speaker 1: does give people like a full experience somewhere that they've
- 8:53Speaker 1: never been, Like it makes it more and then you'd
- 8:56Speaker 1: have to give like a lot of lead time.
- 8:57Speaker 3: That was the other thing.
- 8:57Speaker 1: We were like, we need to give people at least
- 9:00Speaker 1: six months notice, like at least maybe even a.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Year for it for Europe. Yeah, yeah, I know, and
- 9:06Speaker 2: what you did was great.
- 9:07Speaker 5: Because everyone got to have a weekend and experience, but
- 9:10Speaker 5: it wasn't like so far.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Yeah, it wasn't so far.
- 9:13Speaker 3: So that's how we landed on Mexico.
- 9:14Speaker 1: I know.
- 9:15Speaker 5: So we just have to kind of narrow that down
- 9:17Speaker 5: and then figure out where to go from there. But
- 9:20Speaker 5: I think our location is going to be like the
- 9:22Speaker 5: biggest thing, and then from there I'm not looking forward
- 9:26Speaker 5: to like the little details because in my mind, I'm
- 9:29Speaker 5: like I don't pay attention to that stuff at weddings
- 9:31Speaker 5: and it's like you have to pick the cutlery and
- 9:34Speaker 5: all these things that like I don't like doing that stuff.
- 9:37Speaker 3: So we did it all literally in like a day.
- 9:40Speaker 2: I know, you just have to like sit down and
- 9:42Speaker 2: do it.
- 9:43Speaker 3: We flew out to our venue.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Our wedding planner had the whole Like we showed up
- 9:47Speaker 1: and there was like a table, dude, three different tables
- 9:50Speaker 1: and each of them had different place settings and we
- 9:54Speaker 1: kind of walked through like different chairs and everything, and
- 9:56Speaker 1: then we just kind of like made every combo of
- 9:58Speaker 1: like rehearsal dinner, wedding, and like that was it.
- 10:02Speaker 3: It was like two hours.
- 10:03Speaker 5: Yeah, we're just gonna have to Those are gonna be
- 10:05Speaker 5: the parts where we're just like we both are gonna
- 10:08Speaker 5: be dragging our feet.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm saying like, you don't have to make it
- 10:11Speaker 1: like a whole annoying thing.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Like we didn't want it to be a whole annoying thing.
- 10:14Speaker 1: So we were like, have it all set up, we'll
- 10:16Speaker 1: come in, we'll pick our favorites, and we'll be out.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:20Speaker 5: And the other thing is trying to figure out because
- 10:23Speaker 5: I would love a situation where we both walk towards
- 10:27Speaker 5: each other where we meet for the like altar or whatever.
- 10:31Speaker 5: And so finding a venue like I found. I saw
- 10:33Speaker 5: this venue that had it was basically like all this
- 10:37Speaker 5: seats were set up and there's kind of a stage.
- 10:39Speaker 5: It's in the trees, and there's two staircases that come
- 10:44Speaker 5: down on either side. So it was like we could
- 10:45Speaker 5: both walk down and meet. That would be like the
- 10:48Speaker 5: ideal because you're still in front of everybody, you know,
- 10:52Speaker 5: you're you're having a hard time picturing it. Yeah, So
- 10:55Speaker 5: like you're you're sitting and then you're looking at a
- 10:58Speaker 5: stage and then on either no it's outside, but there's
- 11:03Speaker 5: like these two staircases that go up.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Where are you gonna find that?
- 11:07Speaker 2: No, I found it.
- 11:08Speaker 5: It's in I think it's in northern California. Yeah, it's beautiful.
- 11:13Speaker 5: But like that kind of thinking about those things too,
- 11:15Speaker 5: you know, is something that that we.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I feel like you could create that yourself anywhere though. No,
- 11:21Speaker 1: like you could kind of have everybody sitting in like
- 11:25Speaker 1: semi circle, in like a semicircle on two sides, so
- 11:28Speaker 1: that everybody's kind of like.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Kind of like Dean and Kaylen we were facing the aisle.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Yeah, like Dean and Kaylen, but we're in the middle middle.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:36Speaker 5: So yeah, and we can make that anywhere if we
- 11:38Speaker 5: have enough space, right, and if it's not already set
- 11:42Speaker 5: up as like a stage or whatever. But that's kind
- 11:44Speaker 5: of the concept of thinking about venues and location and
- 11:49Speaker 5: then it'll be like dressed stuff, which that will be fun.
- 11:53Speaker 3: I think that needs to be done ahead of time.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Yeah, but you did yours so fast.
- 12:00Speaker 1: I got mine in September and that was like the cutoff,
- 12:03Speaker 1: Like they were like, if you do it any like later.
- 12:06Speaker 2: You did it before you even found the venue.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Yes, oh, in September, I see, I got my dress.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Okay, that's like.
- 12:14Speaker 1: The only thing because well and I didn't really have
- 12:16Speaker 1: many I didn't have any alterations. I only did the bottom,
- 12:19Speaker 1: you know, like I made it shorter. I think if
- 12:21Speaker 1: you have to like a lot of alterations, I think
- 12:23Speaker 1: you have to have like a lot of time.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Yeah, yours fit like a glove.
- 12:26Speaker 3: So yeah, she was made for me.
- 12:28Speaker 2: She was she was made for you.
- 12:31Speaker 1: It was so funny. I was talking to where was I? Oh,
- 12:34Speaker 1: I was at my plate studio and I was talking to.
- 12:38Speaker 3: This girl about I was like, yeah, I hadn't been
- 12:42Speaker 3: back to this plotty studo since June. And I was like,
- 12:44Speaker 3: you know, I.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Put so much work in before my wedding and then
- 12:47Speaker 1: like I went on my honeymoon and had this like
- 12:49Speaker 1: summer of my life and I just kind of like
- 12:51Speaker 1: have just fallen off the wagon. And she was like, ah,
- 12:53Speaker 1: you know, it's fine. She's like at least you'll get
- 12:55Speaker 1: on your wedding. I was like, I look great, And
- 12:56Speaker 1: she was your wedding dress like super tight and like
- 12:59Speaker 1: tight like all over, and I was like, actually no, I'm.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Like why did I care so much?
- 13:05Speaker 1: Like my wedding dress poofed out at the bottom, like
- 13:09Speaker 1: you only sell my arms.
- 13:11Speaker 3: You know, yeah, I know, I know. It's like a
- 13:13Speaker 3: mental thing.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Yeah, it is what you needed to do, Yeah, for yourself.
- 13:17Speaker 3: So maybe we start with wedding dress shopping.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Yeah, we should probably start there.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:24Speaker 5: Yeah, those are like the two need to lock those
- 13:27Speaker 5: in first, and you could.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Look for dresses forever. It's not like you have to
- 13:30Speaker 3: you know, forever.
- 13:32Speaker 1: But what I'm saying is like, you don't have to
- 13:34Speaker 1: just go out one day and find your dress.
- 13:36Speaker 5: No, that's not how I in an ideal world.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Yes, but I know some people who have done like
- 13:42Speaker 1: a hundred, They've gone to like a hundred.
- 13:45Speaker 2: I'm not doing this, so I know.
- 13:46Speaker 3: I literally was like after.
- 13:48Speaker 1: My third store, I was like, if I don't find
- 13:50Speaker 1: it now, like it's going to be one of these
- 13:52Speaker 1: from one saying is like.
- 13:54Speaker 5: After the third store, at that point it's my own.
- 13:57Speaker 5: It's something about me that I.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Need to figure out right about me that I don't.
- 14:01Speaker 5: Like, Yeah, because that's a lot and I only have
- 14:04Speaker 5: so much like stamina for shopping and trying things on.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:09Speaker 2: So I want to talk.
- 14:11Speaker 5: About your word for next year, Yes, And I want
- 14:15Speaker 5: to talk about the fact that Travis and Taylor have
- 14:17Speaker 5: not fought in two and a half hours.
- 14:20Speaker 2: I mean two and a half years as a couple.
- 14:22Speaker 3: I hope they don't fight every two and a half hours.
- 14:25Speaker 2: But we're going to talk about that when we come back.
- 14:49Speaker 3: We're back, jinks.
- 14:53Speaker 5: I was watching you to see when you were gonna
- 14:55Speaker 5: notice that we were back. So you you know, your
- 14:58Speaker 5: word of the year is become a legendary thing, very creative,
- 15:04Speaker 5: very uh manifestational, and this year, did you want to
- 15:10Speaker 5: announce it?
- 15:11Speaker 3: Well?
- 15:11Speaker 1: So, And this was really plaguing me for a long
- 15:15Speaker 1: time because I felt like my word last year was.
- 15:17Speaker 3: So good, Like I was like, wow, I like nailed it.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Last year.
- 15:21Speaker 3: It was wife.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Wife was the word, but it stood for woman in
- 15:25Speaker 1: full efflorescence.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean effluorescence itself is gorgeous?
- 15:30Speaker 3: Yeah, how do you top that?
- 15:33Speaker 1: And like I did feel in a sense a little
- 15:35Speaker 1: bit like Taylor Swift, you know, like when you come
- 15:37Speaker 1: out with like a masterpiece, Like how do you top that?
- 15:40Speaker 1: I felt that same pressure that she feels.
- 15:42Speaker 2: It was the exact same pressure.
- 15:44Speaker 3: Yeah, and like I couldn't. I was like racking my brain.
- 15:47Speaker 1: I was like thinking of words and I was gonna
- 15:48Speaker 1: use like multiply because I want to like obviously I
- 15:52Speaker 1: want to like pro you know, pro create.
- 15:54Speaker 3: I want to like multiply like.
- 15:56Speaker 1: My time, my money, like all those you know, like
- 15:58Speaker 1: and I was like multiply, like I can't be go
- 16:01Speaker 1: from wife to multiply, you know. And yeah, I was
- 16:07Speaker 1: giving ed scheering and then and we love who we love,
- 16:10Speaker 1: but like I don't need to copy him, you know. Yeah,
- 16:13Speaker 1: and uh so, so it's kind of like going around
- 16:16Speaker 1: with like a bunch of words. And then I was like,
- 16:18Speaker 1: I gotta do mom. I gotta make mom M O
- 16:20Speaker 1: M and figure out some way to like make that work.
- 16:24Speaker 1: So it's officially Mom, and it's manifest optimize and multiply.
- 16:28Speaker 3: So I got a multiply in there.
- 16:31Speaker 1: But I posted it on Instagram the other day, like
- 16:34Speaker 1: asking people for like suggestions, and somebody wrote me one
- 16:37Speaker 1: that I actually think I like better.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Oh I know, breaking news. She might switch a word.
- 16:41Speaker 3: I might switch it, but uh wait, what was it?
- 16:44Speaker 3: It was? It was the same.
- 16:45Speaker 1: It was using mom, and uh they just like nailed it.
- 16:49Speaker 1: It was like, hold on, let me find it.
- 16:52Speaker 4: Is manifest to optimize and multiply. It's kind of like
- 16:54Speaker 4: giving LinkedIn or something.
- 16:57Speaker 2: It's giving. It's giving stock market.
- 17:03Speaker 3: It is, I mean, in a different.
- 17:06Speaker 5: Context, optimize and multiply give like uh.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Yeah, optimize multi.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Ew why that for me?
- 17:23Speaker 2: It's just very It's it's like you don't have efflorescent
- 17:28Speaker 2: in there, so it feels a little like.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Okay, somebody wrote mother modern optimistic Tanya helping everyone radiate.
- 17:37Speaker 3: I know, I love that, but it didn't really give me.
- 17:39Speaker 5: What what's happening with your hair on this siho?
- 17:46Speaker 3: Sorry, it's the end of the.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Okay, so magnificent optimistic mentor mom, metamorphosis opens magic?
- 18:01Speaker 5: Wait what about metamorphosis? Optimize and multiply?
- 18:05Speaker 3: What does metamorphosis mean?
- 18:06Speaker 2: Like a change like your growth?
- 18:09Speaker 3: So instead of manifest you think metamorphosis.
- 18:14Speaker 5: Or you could do multiply optimize metamorphosis.
- 18:18Speaker 3: I like that. I'm gonna go with that.
- 18:21Speaker 5: It gives you a little bit of whimsy, you know. Yeah,
- 18:24Speaker 5: and this is giving corporate although we like all those words.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I like it. Multiply optimize metamorphosis.
- 18:35Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, mom, Mom, I have not thought of a
- 18:41Speaker 5: word because I have about one brain cell. As you
- 18:46Speaker 5: tap into that soon and I'll announce it on Instagram.
- 18:49Speaker 3: You can even imagine.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Because I really feel like for some reason this year,
- 18:54Speaker 1: I at this point of the year like I'm so
- 18:58Speaker 1: burnt out, Like I feel just fried on every level.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Yeah. Well you I feel like this year was weirdly
- 19:06Speaker 2: so busy for you personally and professionally.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure.
- 19:11Speaker 5: I don't feel like I had a crazy like I
- 19:12Speaker 5: had a great, chill year.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Like I felt very I got to lay a lot.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Yeah, like I didn't lay until the last month.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Of that conversation. Well, I loved your post and we
- 19:23Speaker 2: love to lay. Easton Crystal's edit what of the video.
- 19:28Speaker 5: Yeah, but I was gonna say when we were in
- 19:31Speaker 5: Japan and Haley got sick, she was like, I'm so sorry,
- 19:34Speaker 5: I'm sick and we can't like go out and shop,
- 19:36Speaker 5: and I was like, I haven't gotten.
- 19:38Speaker 2: To lay this whole trip, Like this is my dream dream.
- 19:42Speaker 2: I am laying and living large. Yeah. But yeah, you
- 19:47Speaker 2: had a very busy year, very productive.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Yeah, it did, and it felt for us.
- 19:51Speaker 1: It felt like I feel like from the start of
- 19:54Speaker 1: the year until my wedding, it was so all consuming
- 19:57Speaker 1: about like wedding and then I don't know why, but
- 20:01Speaker 1: because we waited for our honeymoon and then we had
- 20:03Speaker 1: like a lot of trips and I had like a
- 20:04Speaker 1: huge work trip plan, so I was like, this is
- 20:05Speaker 1: going to be the summer of fun, Like I'm just
- 20:07Speaker 1: gonna like live it up, and like then you're basically
- 20:10Speaker 1: into September and then like life just like the work
- 20:13Speaker 1: and life just pile on.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:15Speaker 5: Yeah, the September through December speed is like we studied
- 20:21Speaker 5: what happened.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Yeah, And I.
- 20:23Speaker 5: Thought it was more so when you have kids and
- 20:25Speaker 5: it's the rush of like holloways.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Back to school.
- 20:28Speaker 1: But it's something because I feel like there's all these
- 20:31Speaker 1: like events that it planned in September and then with
- 20:34Speaker 1: the holidays, with Halloween, I mean your birthdays in there,
- 20:37Speaker 1: so like that it's a whole other thing, and then
- 20:39Speaker 1: things it's like the big holidays all stack up so much.
- 20:42Speaker 4: Yeah, it truly does feel like Halloween was last weekend.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I know, it is crazy.
- 20:49Speaker 5: Another story that came out was that Travis and Taylor.
- 20:52Speaker 5: Travis said that in the two and a half years
- 20:55Speaker 5: that they've been together, they haven't they have never once
- 20:58Speaker 5: had an argument.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Is that crazy?
- 21:01Speaker 3: I thought about this.
- 21:02Speaker 1: I think they've had an argument, like they don't agree
- 21:05Speaker 1: on everything, but they've never had like a big fight.
- 21:08Speaker 2: I don't see you and Alison having big fights. Do
- 21:11Speaker 2: you all have big fights?
- 21:12Speaker 4: We we bicker from time to time, like you know,
- 21:16Speaker 4: but we we don't have big fights that often. We've
- 21:19Speaker 4: had them, Yeah, see they've had them.
- 21:21Speaker 3: That's normal.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 21:24Speaker 4: I'm wondering what his definition of like I'm with you,
- 21:28Speaker 4: like I think.
- 21:31Speaker 1: I think he thinks like fighting is like yelling and
- 21:33Speaker 1: like slamming doors, like we've never done that.
- 21:35Speaker 3: I've throw my phone once though.
- 21:39Speaker 6: Rob, Yeah, just shattered it for no reason and I
- 21:44Speaker 6: didn't even mid Like when I say I like throw it,
- 21:46Speaker 6: I literally like when I opped it and like walked
- 21:49Speaker 6: out the door and then came right back.
- 21:51Speaker 5: I'm just curious if Taylor sitting there, like what is
- 21:54Speaker 5: he talking about?
- 21:56Speaker 2: This is not accurate. He totally missed. He didn't not
- 22:00Speaker 2: know that we were arguing when we were arguing.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Maybe that's what he thinks, Like he thinks it's like
- 22:03Speaker 1: a big blow up fight, which has to be the
- 22:06Speaker 1: case because there's no way after two and a half
- 22:08Speaker 1: years it didn't have somewhat of a squabble.
- 22:10Speaker 2: But I feel like it's fight.
- 22:12Speaker 5: There's a fight, and then there's an argument and he
- 22:14Speaker 5: specifically said argument.
- 22:16Speaker 2: So you think he just lumps them in together. Must
- 22:20Speaker 2: Kylie Kelsey was like, you notice Jason did not chime
- 22:23Speaker 2: in on that, because.
- 22:25Speaker 5: We certainly do not have the same story. Yeah. I
- 22:29Speaker 5: think it's so funny because I wouldn't say I would
- 22:31Speaker 5: say at the beginning our relationship, Haley and I would
- 22:35Speaker 5: argue a lot basically because our communication styles were just
- 22:38Speaker 5: so different. But I feel like this year specifically, we've
- 22:42Speaker 5: really been like on the same page.
- 22:44Speaker 2: And like, I also think.
- 22:46Speaker 5: Learning each other and knowing like what the triggers are
- 22:49Speaker 5: that make a simple a little argument turn into a
- 22:53Speaker 5: fight are so important because most things can be de escalated, yeah,
- 22:57Speaker 5: when you know the person and how to like handle
- 23:00Speaker 5: the situation. Yeah, But if you don't know and you're
- 23:03Speaker 5: just like triggering it and they just you're going in circles,
- 23:07Speaker 5: that's how it escalates.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:09Speaker 1: And I think also too, like you're right, I think
- 23:11Speaker 1: you figure out figure it out in the beginning stages,
- 23:13Speaker 1: because I remember Robbie like needs time, like he just
- 23:16Speaker 1: wants to like have a little space and like think
- 23:18Speaker 1: about his thoughts. Whereas when I when he said that,
- 23:21Speaker 1: like my brain went to, like we're breaking up and
- 23:23Speaker 1: then I would just like freak out. I wouldn't let
- 23:25Speaker 1: him go to sleep until we like hash it out,
- 23:27Speaker 1: and like that's not super productive either, you know. So
- 23:30Speaker 1: it's like we've both learned how to kind of like
- 23:33Speaker 1: meet in the middle with that.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:34Speaker 3: So it's like I won't say we argue better.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's true, like, yeah, I also need space.
- 23:40Speaker 3: So it's like I hate that.
- 23:42Speaker 2: I know Ha hates it too, but I'm.
- 23:45Speaker 5: Like, I will be able to to peacefully come come
- 23:50Speaker 5: back better than if we try to do this right now.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:53Speaker 2: But a lot of people were like this is not believable.
- 23:56Speaker 5: But I have friends I feel like who don't who
- 23:58Speaker 5: would say like they haven't had a big ballll fight,
- 24:01Speaker 5: But I don't know if anyone's not had arguments in.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Two and a half years.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Yeah, so you know what I liked though, What I
- 24:08Speaker 1: like that George Clooney is like not taking on rolls exactly.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Yeah, that like are kissing people anymore?
- 24:14Speaker 2: Yeah, he's all done.
- 24:15Speaker 5: I like that.
- 24:16Speaker 3: I don't know why.
- 24:17Speaker 5: I was like, oh, but also I'm like, okay, so
- 24:20Speaker 5: now you're at an age where like it's not necessarily
- 24:23Speaker 5: like you're in demand to be like, you know what
- 24:27Speaker 5: I'm saying, like George, but I'm saying like I wonder,
- 24:32Speaker 5: I wonder if his wife is like, where was this
- 24:35Speaker 5: energy ten years ago?
- 24:36Speaker 3: Right right like right after we got married?
- 24:39Speaker 5: Man? But yeah, I think it's I think it's sweet
- 24:43Speaker 5: because it's like, does he need to be doing that anymore?
- 24:47Speaker 1: You know, dang, Becca, you really know how to take
- 24:49Speaker 1: the wind out of my sails.
- 24:50Speaker 5: I was like, so ecited George Clooney in his prime
- 24:54Speaker 5: time being married, would go, I don't need to be
- 24:57Speaker 5: doing this anymore.
- 25:00Speaker 2: But I pose a point, don't die?
- 25:03Speaker 3: What has he done lately?
- 25:04Speaker 4: Has he done a Wally has a new movie called
- 25:06Speaker 4: Jake Kelly. It's on Netflix. It's about an actor, a
- 25:09Speaker 4: famous actor. I'm Sandler's in it too. It sounds very good.
- 25:14Speaker 5: I personally am a fan of George Clooney, so I'm
- 25:17Speaker 5: excited to see his new movie. But I always Haley,
- 25:21Speaker 5: you know, is in this industry where we've had these
- 25:24Speaker 5: conversations about what that looks like in my comfort with it,
- 25:28Speaker 5: and really my comfort is I'm not comfortable with any either.
- 25:33Speaker 3: There'd be absolutely no way.
- 25:35Speaker 5: But we have conversations where you know, it's like knowing
- 25:38Speaker 5: how to be respectful about it and making sure that
- 25:41Speaker 5: I feel safe and what she has to do with
- 25:44Speaker 5: when it comes to work stuff.
- 25:45Speaker 2: But yeah, it's not like easy.
- 25:47Speaker 5: I think it's I think unless you're both in the
- 25:49Speaker 5: industry and you're both going to work and making out
- 25:52Speaker 5: with people for your job, I think that's the only
- 25:57Speaker 5: way you're able.
- 25:58Speaker 2: To just be okay with it.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Yeah, Because if.
- 26:00Speaker 5: You're not in the industry and you're like, I don't
- 26:02Speaker 5: understand there, don't don't go to work.
- 26:05Speaker 1: I know myself, there's absolutely no way I could handle it.
- 26:09Speaker 5: No. And the funny thing is if that was Robbie's job,
- 26:11Speaker 5: he would be able to go and do it and
- 26:13Speaker 5: like not think anything of it.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Literally he would be like so unattached, like I would
- 26:17Speaker 1: have nothing to worry about.
- 26:19Speaker 3: But I would hate it. I would absolutely hate it.
- 26:23Speaker 2: It's not for the it's not for the week.
- 26:25Speaker 3: No, no, no, But I'm strong, but I would crumble.
- 26:29Speaker 3: I would should be shivering.
- 26:48Speaker 5: Someone asked a fun question about what song that reminds
- 26:51Speaker 5: you of each other, and I thought that would be
- 26:54Speaker 5: a fun one to answer.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Do you have a song that reminds you of me? Yeah?
- 26:58Speaker 2: Oh what are me?
- 26:59Speaker 3: Yes, how'd you know?
- 27:02Speaker 2: Just had a feeling army by Ellie Goulding.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:08Speaker 3: Do you have a song that reminds you about me?
- 27:09Speaker 5: I mean I think I have a bunch of songs
- 27:12Speaker 5: that I would think of, but I feel like I.
- 27:13Speaker 2: Think auld be Joweled when I think of you.
- 27:15Speaker 3: Ah yes, yeah, yeah and.
- 27:17Speaker 5: Weirdly Easton, which it's the only reason this song is
- 27:21Speaker 5: not like my least favorite song of all time because
- 27:24Speaker 5: I have the association with you.
- 27:26Speaker 2: I think of me by Taylors Me.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Yeah, because he hates so much.
- 27:31Speaker 5: Because we like did this We all danced to it
- 27:34Speaker 5: one time and the Easton went like one hundred and
- 27:37Speaker 5: fifty percent with his dancing and singing.
- 27:41Speaker 2: And I think of it now wow. Or a Hillary
- 27:44Speaker 2: Duff song that makes you feel good.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Yeah, He's like, I'm slightly fender, but I say I'm.
- 27:50Speaker 2: Saying like it's it's it.
- 27:52Speaker 5: It brings me to a higher level because I associated
- 27:55Speaker 5: with you.
- 27:56Speaker 3: Yeah that makes me happy.
- 27:57Speaker 4: Yeah, Yeah, there's some. I mean, I don't want to
- 28:02Speaker 4: lump on Bejeweled, but like such the tiniest song, It's fine.
- 28:05Speaker 1: I sing it every day I enter the studio. Yes,
- 28:08Speaker 1: so it's kind of like my theme song.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:12Speaker 4: I have a very fun memory from when I first
- 28:15Speaker 4: started working with mister Seacrest and we were at the
- 28:18Speaker 4: East Studio and you're probably there telling you but Wildest
- 28:21Speaker 4: Dreams my Taylor Swift is playing and Mark was like
- 28:23Speaker 4: singing along so loudly to the bridge like the.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Hen it damn.
- 28:29Speaker 4: Every time I hear Wildest Dreams, I think of him
- 28:32Speaker 4: and I think of that. I think you were there
- 28:35Speaker 4: that David like he was like so into it. And
- 28:37Speaker 4: that's a very fun memory. So even though Mark's not
- 28:39Speaker 4: here today, I'm gonna say Wildest Streams makes me think.
- 28:41Speaker 3: Of him weirdly. Jeanie in a Bottle makes me think
- 28:47Speaker 3: of Mark.
- 28:49Speaker 2: These are not the songs I would expect.
- 28:52Speaker 1: It's because whatever we're waiting for, Like if we're waiting
- 28:55Speaker 1: for Ryan, like, well, we'll ask like our board op
- 28:59Speaker 1: John to like play certain songs. And for some reason,
- 29:01Speaker 1: I feel like he always plays Genie a Bottle, which
- 29:04Speaker 1: is requested by Mark.
- 29:05Speaker 3: I'm assuming because I don't know what else is requesting it.
- 29:11Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a great song.
- 29:12Speaker 3: It's a great song. It's a great song.
- 29:15Speaker 5: I feel like I think of weirdly because he always
- 29:18Speaker 5: brings it up.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Is all too well, all too well tenute version.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Yeah yeah yeah, or the Ryne runs out. He was
- 29:25Speaker 1: so passionate about.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Not being awesome. I was with him. It was my
- 29:30Speaker 2: brunner up. I'm and s so with Lord Rob.
- 29:40Speaker 3: R O, B B E. D.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Yes. Thank you for spelling that out.
- 29:46Speaker 5: I don't. That's the end of the episode, But don't worry.
- 29:50Speaker 5: We'll be back with more, because that's what we do
- 29:52Speaker 5: and who we are.
- 29:53Speaker 3: When are we coming back, Becca, We'll be.
- 29:55Speaker 5: Back Wednesday on Christmas Eve. And if you're listening to
- 29:58Speaker 5: us on Christmas Eve or Chris Miss Day, We're so
