- 0:04Podcast number three hundred and eighty continually converted to men in the churches. When
- 0:15I get to any city in the world and while the pastor or church leader
- 0:19takes me to the hotel, I like to ask you what are the main
- 0:25problems facing young marriages, women and men in the church. They' re
- 0:34usually the same. I find the difference in the proportion in which these problems
- 0:38arise. In some places there is more domestic violence in others jealousy. In
- 0:47major cities in the United States, for example, the predominant theme is that
- 0:53people are too imbued in their work. In some cities of Colombia, or
- 0:59the predominant theme is the promiscuity of man. In other societies, youth insurrection,
- 1:06boys who don' t want to be subjected to anything or anyone.
- 1:11As they are many years traveling and knowing many cultures, I can detail a
- 1:18little more the mechanics that many pastors and leaders put into practice to solve the
- 1:23problems of their communities. With this I' ve told you, I want
- 1:27to lay the foundation for what I' m going to tell women today.
- 1:32Girls know what percentage of men have changed and have been won for Christ through
- 1:38the criticisms, complaints and sermons of their wives. Zero, the percentage is
- 1:49zero. No one agrees to be a better husband through the toxic coercion of
- 1:55a spouse. I have spoken to too many men who had no problem recognizing
- 2:01their mistakes and were willing to change, but their wives constantly degraded them for
- 2:08their mistakes. You' re just like your dad, you never do it
- 2:17right or you did it right, but you could have done it better.
- 2:21I married a useless man. I know that the holy pious and good women
- 2:27who are hearing this podcast would never say anything like that to their husbands,
- 2:34right. But girls, I think there are women who say so you approach
- 2:42the troubled soul of those husbands and it' s sad to hear them say
- 2:47whatever I do for her will never be enough. I don' t know
- 2:53how you' ll be satisfied anymore, Pastor, I don' t know
- 2:59how to make you happy. You' re ending your marriage, you'
- 3:04re undermining and destroying the most important person in your life, the one God
- 3:09told you to stay with until the last second of your existence. True,
- 3:17your husband is a horrible bunch of mistakes and sins like you, no difference.
- 3:27It will always seem to you that your husband' s sins are superior
- 3:31to yours, but you cannot lose sight of the fact that the same drop
- 3:37of blood that set you free also set him free. And this is not
- 3:40a message for you to manage and endure your husband' s mistakes. It
- 3:46' s not a message for you to change and modify the way you'
- 3:53re probably trying to fix those mistakes. Recapitulation Return to your last discussions with
- 4:01him. Now remember the words you used, if there are qualifiers that attack
- 4:09you and lower you eliminate them from your conversation. Why you never do things.
- 4:16Well, I' m forbidden from doing this or that for God'
- 4:23s sake. When you' re going to grow up phrases like these,
- 4:29you can' t keep using them and I invite you to make your own
- 4:33list. Also, if you used comparisons with men, we don' t
- 4:42like comparisons where we' re losers. Well, I don' t think
- 4:46anyone likes that. If you compare it, make it a winner. First
- 4:50Peter, chapter number three, verse number one to himself wives. Submit yourselves
- 4:57to your husbands, so that if any of them do not believe in the
- 5:00word, they may be gained more by your behavior than by your words.
- 5:08I just read First Peter, chapter number three, verse number one in the
- 5:13new international version. Now he' s talking about submission. That submission must
- 5:20be voluntary. They must make the depths of your heart. In Ephesians,
- 5:27the lord says wives submit to their husbands. It does not say husbands submit
- 5:35to their wives, because this must be a voluntary act and do not misunderstand
- 5:42the word submission or submission. Please, girls don' t put it into
- 5:46the language of today' s society, because it would be interpreted as how
- 5:54a husband can subjugate, enslave, and run over a woman' s rights.
- 5:59No submission. That means giving him the place of government that God gave
- 6:05to a man who was a determined husband. Rule is implicit in respect and
- 6:12love for the governed and does not deepen any further, because this is not
- 6:16the main theme of this message. But let men rule with love and delicacy.
- 6:24But let us return to what Peter Tresui' s first verse says.
- 6:29In this verse the apostle. Peter says that the husband earns himself through the
- 6:32behavior of a wife who, by her words, is a silent example testimony
- 6:39of life that also cares through proceeding the heart of her husband. I'
- 6:46ll help you. The next time he raises his voice, you put it
- 6:53down, remember that proverbs XV one says the kind answer calms his anger,
- 6:59but the aggressive one provokes anger Jasmith, on many occasions he looks at me
- 7:05and tells me because you' re talking to me like this, Pastor,
- 7:13the next time you see that he made the same mistake, ask him what
- 7:19I can do to help you not make this mistake the next time you want
- 7:26to compare it to lower it, tell him you' re a great man.
- 7:27That thing you just did doesn' t match what you really are.
- 7:32I love you good. I hope that in this podcast addressed to women they
- 7:41have found small pebbles that are treasures that help to have a better marriage,
- 7:49and don' t worry. I' m preparing other podcasts where I'
- 7:55ll have a chance to talk to your husband. For now I want you
- 8:00to have a nice day, but may God impress you with the wisdom you
- 8:05need to have a very good marriage, may God bless you
