Transcript
- 0:00Welcome to Ron's Basement. We have a special guest today
- 0:04all the way from Holland. Our friend Vincent is joining us
- 0:08here in the basement. And what makes him unique about
- 0:11being a UFD duster are a couple things #1 he's from Holland,
- 0:17we've spread all around the world #2 he's about the same age
- 0:21as me and almost Boomer. And #3 he's a previous silver
- 0:27and gold, still a silver and gold investor who was, I guess,
- 0:31introduced to Ron's basement through the Silver and Gold
- 0:34channel. And we're here today to talk
- 0:36about his journey, what he's doing here in Saint Louis and
- 0:40why he's part of UFD. Vincent, welcome to Ron's
- 0:43basement. Yeah, it's an honour to be here,
- 0:45Ron. It's a really special Sunday
- 0:48today. Well, we're we're pleased to
- 0:51have you. Like I said, it's very unique.
- 0:54You're from Europe, you're about my age, you're a silver and gold
- 0:57guy. I just want to ask you what got
- 0:59you, I guess. Interested in Unicorn fart dust?
- 1:03Yeah, let's give it a start, Ron.
- 1:06Actually the last 1 1/2 years I have been listening daily to
- 1:10your Silver podcast. I apologize for that.
- 1:15But actually, I learned a lot from you.
- 1:18And since then I'm actually really interested in once in a
- 1:23while buying some gold and silver coins.
- 1:26And then somewhere in the December, mid-december, you
- 1:29started talking about meme coins and Unicorn fire dust.
- 1:34And to be honest, I I switched off in the beginning, but
- 1:39because I really, really trusted you as a silver expert and I
- 1:44learned so much for you and you showed up every day in your
- 1:49silver podcast. Actually around Christmas, I
- 1:53bought with my first $100. I bought my first around 1000
- 2:01Unicorn farthest mean coins. You you you became a a duster at
- 2:05that point, correct? Yeah, I became a duster.
- 2:10Maybe some people call me a boomer, but technically I'm not
- 2:13a boomer I think. But I had a lot of technical
- 2:17issues buying those first thousand beans.
- 2:22You know that I think that's a a big opportunity for UFD as we
- 2:26move forward, like we've accomplished what we've
- 2:29accomplished without yet being listed on a tier one exchange,
- 2:33which will make it easier for people, maybe even people who
- 2:37are a little older like you and I.
- 2:39But think of of the the ease at which in the future people will
- 2:46be able to buy UFDI. Think it'll open up a whole new
- 2:49market of potential butter cups turning into dusters and diamond
- 2:55hood dusters as well. Yeah, I think so.
- 2:59And actually after Christmas I started buying and eating a bit
- 3:03of more beans. And actually I took some beans
- 3:07with me from the from the airports and maybe I think you
- 3:14are calling me now in Narwhal because I have around 250,000 of
- 3:19those beans nowadays. But I've experienced the the
- 3:24goods, but also the kind of the the bad days in the in the you
- 3:29have day. Yeah, we don't call our whales
- 3:32whales. We call them narwhals because as
- 3:34you can see, the narwhal is the is the Unicorn of the sea is
- 3:39what they refer to them. So, and we have a boy here it's
- 3:42and confirm. So yeah, it's been, it's been an
- 3:46interesting journey. I know for a lot of the silver
- 3:50and gold people, I was a silver and gold person up until
- 3:54December 16th. I knew what a meme coin was, but
- 3:57I didn't really understand what the value was or why there was
- 4:03any value in, in meme coins. And I went through kind of a
- 4:06transformation as I, as I learned and you know, kind of
- 4:10learned about the community aspect.
- 4:12Did you experience that same thing?
- 4:14I mean what are what are your thoughts in that regard?
- 4:16Well, what I've learned in the last weeks, and we are only
- 4:21existing for what is it 12 weeks, 12 weeks, something like
- 4:25that, that the, the community gives me a lot of learning, a
- 4:31lot of positive conversations, but it also gives me a lot of
- 4:37fun to connect with many of the people on the on the crypto
- 4:42Twitter. So actually next to my busy
- 4:47work, I in the evenings, I spend some time on the on the crypto
- 4:51Twitter, engaging and learning from all of you the stars and
- 4:58try to support each other and and and convey the message of
- 5:03good tracks. Good attracts good.
- 5:06Yeah. That was really what was the
- 5:08major transformational experience for me.
- 5:12You know, I, I created this literally sitting right over
- 5:14there. Vincent's down here so we can
- 5:16see. And I had no idea, you know, I
- 5:19knew what meme coins were, but I had no idea of the community
- 5:24aspect of it. And very early in the process,
- 5:29maybe the second, third day, it really started to sink in for me
- 5:33that this community behind Unicorn fart dust and some of
- 5:38the other mean coins as well, that that creates a lot of
- 5:42value. You know, this relationship that
- 5:44people have a shared belief system, a sense of belonging and
- 5:49like you said, fun, right? I mean, I think good attracts
- 5:52good is, is the foundation of Unicorn fart dust.
- 5:57But then there's a lot of fun that goes on as well.
- 5:59I mean, a lot of people having a lot of fun with this,
- 6:02definitely. Absolutely, Ron.
- 6:04And I think what I've learned in the last days is that UFD is
- 6:08truly unique and and rare. Yeah.
- 6:12And I think the power of UFD is indeed in the in the community,
- 6:19but I think we all can also learn from the fact that a lot
- 6:23of the other meme coins were more or less a bit of pump and
- 6:28dump coins not with the same fantastic values as as UFD.
- 6:35And what we are currently seeing in the markets, I think is that
- 6:40in the silver videos, you always talked about the extra pyramids.
- 6:45But what I see is that a lot of other investors are dumping
- 6:50their, I call them the bad meme coins, and they are rotating
- 6:57into UFD because people start to recognize our values and your
- 7:03values on. Yeah, the cream rises to the
- 7:08top. And, and you know, I've said
- 7:10this many Times Now, but two Sundays ago right now, I was
- 7:14sitting here talking to Susie's older brother, who's a a very
- 7:18successful financial services professional.
- 7:21And I was telling him I was frustrated with what was going
- 7:24on in the meme coin sector. It was right after I think the
- 7:27Libra token was two weeks ago and that whole scandal had
- 7:31broken. And he said, you know, the
- 7:33crazier the scummier that some of these people get, the better
- 7:38that UFD looks. And, you know, just keep doing
- 7:43the right thing. Keep up with those those
- 7:45foundational principles that we have of honesty, integrity and
- 7:51prosperity and transparency. And, and, you know, that will be
- 7:55good. And it really feels like to me
- 7:58in the last two to three weeks that there has been a big shift
- 8:01within the meme coin world, more of a focus on quality.
- 8:07And, you know, it feels like to me that that that UFD is
- 8:11positioned well to capitalize on that.
- 8:13And it's so simple. It's just real easy, to be
- 8:17honest. It's real easy to have
- 8:19integrity. You know, to me, it's the
- 8:22simpler way to do things. And, and it's the good way to do
- 8:25things, doing good, you know, just following a good moral code
- 8:32is, is a lot more enjoyable and, and I don't know, to me a lot
- 8:36easier to do. Yeah, and I think this is about
- 8:41also longer term, a lot of the other meme coins are I.
- 8:47Love them. Thank you.
- 8:50But they are really about the weekly dump and and pump and we
- 8:56are here to stay on the longer term.
- 8:59And if I am honest, I stepped into UFD because of you because
- 9:05you show up every day. But I also trust your story of
- 9:10good attracts good and being good in the in the community.
- 9:14And I think in the end, that delivers the value of UFD and
- 9:21that we really can move to what some people call a generational
- 9:26wealth. Today I shook hands with your
- 9:29beautiful daughters. I have two sons at home but my
- 9:35secret idea is that in the future with my UFD beans I want
- 9:40to support my boys buying a house, which is extremely
- 9:45difficult currently in Europe. Yeah, You know, I, I sat down
- 9:50here very early in the UFD journey and said all along to
- 9:54everybody, I want this to be a long term, I say a long term
- 9:59flight. I want it to be a long term
- 10:01deal. And I know that, yeah, a lot of
- 10:03the other coins, not all of them, but most of them were very
- 10:07short term oriented pump and dump type situations.
- 10:10And I just got so excited about the prospect of this being a
- 10:18long term journey in the idea that as the community continued
- 10:23to foster itself and to grow and to kind of take on a life of its
- 10:27own, which it's doing right now, that it could create a very
- 10:32lucrative situation for the people that are got in early.
- 10:37And I, I right now still think it's early.
- 10:40You know, there's a guy named Saff who's become very
- 10:43educational for me personally. And he said this a week ago.
- 10:47You know, he talked about these other, these pump and dump
- 10:49coins. A lot of times would have secret
- 10:52dinners and meetings and where people would be given coins and
- 10:56given the opportunity to buy in early before they launched.
- 11:00And then they would launch and then they would do the rug pull.
- 11:03Like this is this is that that's what we're doing right now.
- 11:07I mean, we're so different in terms of how the whole coin was
- 11:12created that this period that we're in right now is kind of
- 11:16the funding period for UFD. And I can't emphasize enough,
- 11:20like I believe this is going to be a long term journey.
- 11:23I believe that every single day we have more, every day that
- 11:28goes by, we have more and more and more long term holders,
- 11:32people like you and me that and it's not just because we're
- 11:36older, but a lot of the older people, you know, 455068 seventy
- 11:4280s that I'm like, we're more long term oriented, right?
- 11:47And a lot of our younger people are too.
- 11:48We love every age group everywhere.
- 11:51But I do believe it's a long term journey.
- 11:53And in a minute here I'm going to have you put a couple of your
- 11:55beans for all of our friends in Europe into the jug.
- 11:58But I've talked too much. Go ahead.
- 12:00Yeah, so you talk about the beans and at home and maybe you
- 12:06can show to the viewers the bean in in Chicago.
- 12:12I love Chicago. And by the way, now I also love
- 12:15Saint Louis because I spent two days in Saint Louis.
- 12:20But for me, this big bean in Chicago visualizes how these
- 12:26beans can. They're they're seeing the bean
- 12:29on the screen right now. That's what they're saying.
- 12:32Did you share the right screen now?
- 12:33Because sometimes you have a big difficulty sharing the right
- 12:36screen. Yeah, we'll, we'll check with
- 12:38Susie. But now, right now they're
- 12:39seeing the giant bean in Chicago.
- 12:41Yes. But really on a serious note,
- 12:45Ron, these small beans, what is the value now of USUFD That's
- 12:51about 60 or 70. But imagine if they would grow
- 12:57as big as as that bean in in in Chicago.
- 13:03I never thought about that, Vincent.
- 13:08Yeah, it's and that's and this is what the viewers see.
- 13:11So guys, that that bean up there.
- 13:14Sorry, that's on the screen. Yeah.
- 13:17What if our What if our beans grow as big as the the giant
- 13:20bean in Chicago? Yeah.
- 13:22And the powerful thing of the bean in Chicago is that it
- 13:26attracts a lot of people. Yes, when you go there, there's
- 13:32a lot of people interested in this, in this big bean.
- 13:37And for me that is the same like UFD, we attract a lot of new
- 13:42distress hopefully and we can next to growing the bean, this
- 13:46is about growing the community, isn't that?
- 13:49Yeah, it is. It is.
- 13:50That's an interesting perspective on the Bean in
- 13:53Chicago because it does attract a lot of attention.
- 13:59I know, you know, just from over the last, I think it's been
- 14:02there about 20 years at this point.
- 14:04I went to College in Chicago and the Bean wasn't there yet.
- 14:07It was a subsequent to when I when I moved back to Saint
- 14:10Louis. And it seems like I'm always
- 14:12seeing pictures of the giant bean in Chicago.
- 14:16And at some point, yeah, we'll have a big UFD get together in
- 14:20Chicago when our bean is that big.
- 14:23Because it can happen, definitely.
- 14:25Actually, I think we should go there earlier wrong because I
- 14:29I've seen on the crypto Twitter that the the district car is
- 14:34almost ready to go. Yeah, and I feel it's a
- 14:39fantastic opportunity if we could get the district car
- 14:42driving to the Bean in in in Chicago and you farting the the,
- 14:48the, the the good news of the UFD.
- 14:51Yeah, right. Yeah, I can see the bean with
- 14:55the reflection of the duster in it.
- 14:57And we even have a one of our critical community members who
- 15:03does a lot for UFD. It's funny, long before UFD was
- 15:08even created her, her screen name is the bean.
- 15:11So these beans are popping up everywhere.
- 15:14What about in Saint Louis? You, you discovered some
- 15:17interesting Unicorn related. I'm going to go out to your let
- 15:21me pull up. Bear with me just one second.
- 15:25Yeah, and and maybe I can already start so.
- 15:28Go ahead. Looking for the the screen.
- 15:32So I had opportunity to visit the the Arch yesterday in Saint
- 15:39Louis and that was a fantastic experience.
- 15:43And for me, the Arch symbolizes the unlimited potential of UFD.
- 15:53But on the series. Now this morning when I stepped
- 15:55out of the hotel I walked a few blocks around the the city
- 16:00centre and then I arrived at the Soldier Memorial Museum and you
- 16:07probably know more about it but actually outside and the role is
- 16:13sharing this on the screen now there is 4 unicorns and the
- 16:19unicorns are called vision. There's Yep, there's vision.
- 16:26There's vision, courage. Wow, that is wild.
- 16:31That is up and that's and then what are the other ones?
- 16:34I think there's only two pictures here, but let me let me
- 16:37go back to this one and just hear you know what I can draw on
- 16:41the screen. Vincent temporarily.
- 16:44Look at that guys. That would be a Unicorn wing.
- 16:51Yeah, it is. And I was so happy to to find
- 16:56those unicorns, but it also kept me a bit silent.
- 17:03Rome as respects for the the, the, the, the soldiers and the
- 17:08history and the values those soldiers and the courage they
- 17:13had in to to to support Europe in the World War One.
- 17:20Yeah, yeah, yeah. And you know, I think when we
- 17:23think about UFD, and I'd be interested to get your
- 17:27perspective on this, that what we're doing take some courage as
- 17:32well, because all the people out there, you know, the viewer
- 17:35who's joining us right now, that's a duster.
- 17:38You know, what we're doing within the meme coin sector is a
- 17:43little bit different, right? This is a a 100% community
- 17:48driven project has been from day one, right?
- 17:52I was joked around with you earlier.
- 17:53I didn't I didn't plan this. Everyone knows the story behind
- 17:57it. I did create it and I took full
- 18:00responsibility for what I did. And I've continued to take full
- 18:04responsibility and I love it. I wouldn't trade this for the
- 18:07world, but it's taken the courage of a lot of people, you
- 18:13know, people that have joined our community, people who've
- 18:16been willing to make do all types of things, artwork, work
- 18:21on all types of projects, the website giveaways, I mean
- 18:26people, we have a DJ that did a great thing last night that it's
- 18:30taken a lot of courage from a lot of people to to kind of get
- 18:33us to where we are now and where we're heading in the future as
- 18:37well. Yeah, I agree, Ron.
- 18:40And in the in the car to the basement, I had to charge my
- 18:45car. And actually I did see the video
- 18:49this morning live in in the car. And I also did of course see the
- 18:54price of Unicorn enormously going up and holding UFD today
- 19:01doesn't take a lot of courage. Actually, a few weeks ago,
- 19:05holding UFD, this took a lot of courage and, and, and conviction
- 19:11and maybe sacrifices. And to be honest, today I'm
- 19:16smiling. A few weeks ago, maybe I didn't
- 19:20feel as good as today. And actually I feel that is
- 19:25conviction and in and really believing long term in the in in
- 19:31UFD. But, and, and, and I want to add
- 19:35to that, you know, yes, the whole meme coin sector went
- 19:38through a very difficult period. Our token price went down really
- 19:42low. But what I experienced during
- 19:46that period, which was more encouraging to me than than than
- 19:50anything, is that the community continued to strengthen through
- 19:56a period of adversity. The community continued to
- 20:00strengthen. I could feel it like the
- 20:02community was being forged, galvanized, mobilized.
- 20:08Nobody, Nobody sent me, and I want to say this because I'm to
- 20:12you and everybody. No one sent me a mean message or
- 20:16a mean e-mail saying, Oh my gosh, you know, I lost money or
- 20:20I'm down or whatever. Nobody did.
- 20:22Nobody what I did get. Were hundreds of encouraging
- 20:27messages from people saying keep up the good work, keep it up.
- 20:30And you know, I had Luke and that's the the founder or well,
- 20:34the, the CEO of of Pudgy Penguins on about a week and a
- 20:38half ago right in the midst of all that.
- 20:40And he said, he said, like these are actually good times for us
- 20:45because during these periods, this is when real communities
- 20:49are formed, real strength is, is is created within communities.
- 20:54And the fact that that our number of holders stayed
- 20:59constant during that period while there were just masses of
- 21:03people temporarily leaving the meme coin sector, to me was
- 21:07actually a big win. You know, in real terms, we, I
- 21:11thought we did very well. So.
- 21:12Yeah. And to your point, Ron, in the
- 21:15in the first weeks, the price did go up very fast.
- 21:19Oh yeah, after my February ski, it went down.
- 21:25But what you now see is that the the the the price of U of D goes
- 21:30slowly up. And in your silver podcast, you
- 21:34always said what goes up fast goes down fast.
- 21:39You took the. Words out of my mouth.
- 21:41Yeah. And to be honest, today I'm
- 21:43really convinced that the slow speed we are seeing now compared
- 21:47to the fast speeds we had in the Chris around the Christmas, that
- 21:54tells me that we have now dusters in our community who are
- 22:00really the diamond hoofed dust styles and for.
- 22:05So for me, the gradually going up of our prize for value is is
- 22:12really good. It's good.
- 22:13No, I look, it's a law of nature.
- 22:15Anything that goes up real fast usually comes down real fast.
- 22:18And that's we were early, we were young.
- 22:21I mean, we're still young. We're 12 weeks old, as you and I
- 22:25are, are recording this video. So to me, as painful as it was
- 22:31and I didn't want it to happen, right?
- 22:33Going straight up, you know, what do they call them?
- 22:36Unicorn candles or God candles, big green candles.
- 22:39That's great, that's exciting. But the reality is the other
- 22:43side of that coin is that you usually come back down.
- 22:46So while I expected it, I didn't enjoy it.
- 22:50I don't think anyone would say they enjoyed it, but I agree
- 22:53with you 100%. Now Unicorn fart dust and and
- 22:58really it's the community. When I say Unicorn fart dust,
- 23:01I'm talking about the community, right?
- 23:03Me, you, the person joining us have have kind of, I think
- 23:07proven that we can, that we can, that we're here to stay, OK?
- 23:11That we're, we're not just a short term flash in the pan
- 23:18gambling token that a lot of these others were that we are
- 23:21like this, a steady force that were special, were unique and
- 23:26that we will have consistent steady growth.
- 23:30Because Vincent, there's only 999 million beans in the jug.
- 23:34And I'm going to go get up and get the jug because you're going
- 23:37to put, I'm going to have you put a few in there for you
- 23:41because you're diamond hooved. I, I believe, but also for some
- 23:44of our friends in Europe. OK, I'll be right back.
- 23:47Yeah, and actually we did do a free taste of of of the beans
- 23:51and they really taste fantastic. Yeah, yeah.
- 23:54So, guys, don't forget right here, I'll cover myself up.
- 23:59This is the most important thing, right?
- 24:01This what what Vincent's about ready to do is the most
- 24:04important thing. Go ahead, Benson dump dump them
- 24:06in there for. I throw in one of me and also I
- 24:10know there's two or three other really good dusters in the
- 24:16Netherlands, so I add them for them as well.
- 24:20Listen, All right? That's that's the sound of
- 24:25money. Ching.
- 24:26Ching. Yeah.
- 24:30And and the other Jelly beans are for the daughters of of
- 24:34Rome. Well, I'll let you in on a
- 24:36little secret. I have a horrible sweet tooth so
- 24:39every once in a while I dip my hands into that jug, but I
- 24:42always replace any beans that I take so.
- 24:45Hey, hey, Roll, I have a favor to ask.
- 24:48Sure. Yeah, and that is you.
- 24:49Want me to sing? Yeah.
- 24:50No, no. You you talked about Unicorn
- 24:54fathers is here to stay and for me, I really feel like a bit
- 25:00going is the gold in crypto silver is the is is is UFD is
- 25:07the silver of of of of meme and when you talk about UFD is there
- 25:14to stay in your silver podcast. You always talked about the
- 25:18extra pyramid because people want to keep the strong crypto,
- 25:26they want to keep the strong meme coins.
- 25:28Like people ultimately do not want to spend their gold and
- 25:34silver. Can you elaborate maybe a bit
- 25:37more how you see the extra spearmint?
- 25:40Potentially could be used in in in meme as well.
- 25:44Yeah. Well, extras, there was a guy
- 25:46named John Exter who worked for the New York Federal Reserve
- 25:49Bank, who had a thesis that in this was 20, well, maybe 30-40
- 25:57years ago, that that all the world's monetary system rested.
- 26:02It was like an upside down pyramid Here.
- 26:04I'll show you the picture and that it rested on a base of gold
- 26:10and silver. Let me pull it up on full screen
- 26:14so I can see it a little better. OK, Gold and silver and that
- 26:19everything above that was was basically Unicorn fart dust,
- 26:23right? Paper money, base money, bank
- 26:26money, the government bonds, corporate bonds, non monetary
- 26:30commodities derivatives. This particular version of the
- 26:34extras pyramid, although I don't think John extras original
- 26:37version had crypt. I don't think cryptocurrency
- 26:40existed at the time puts crypto on there.
- 26:42So the idea is, and the argument that I would that that's made is
- 26:48that in like derivatives are quadrillions of dollars, that
- 26:51everything based is is based upon gold and silver and that
- 26:56bad money government. You know, we know all the
- 27:00government that we know that the US government has $36 trillion
- 27:03in debt. We know that there's been money
- 27:05bank money base money that's been printed paper money into
- 27:09Infinity. And these derivatives are it's
- 27:12unbelievable how big the derivative balances are that
- 27:16just a little bit of that, that that the bad money eventually
- 27:20over, you know, over time, and this has been repeated many
- 27:25hundreds of times over history always goes back to gold and
- 27:29silver. Now I would give the argument
- 27:31that that that we could put other finite assets down here,
- 27:36things like land, things like even artwork and things that
- 27:40that are finite in nature that are from the cryptocurrency
- 27:43world like Unicorn fart dust. OK, that that eventually all of
- 27:49this up here is kind of make believe.
- 27:53I mean it really is it's fantasyland money.
- 27:55And if you'd asked me this question 14 weeks ago, I would
- 27:59have said, yeah, Kryptos included in that as well.
- 28:03Although now that I have a a different perspective on
- 28:07Kryptos, in particular ones like Bitcoin and Unicorn fart dust
- 28:12that are finite in nature. I know there's still Bitcoin
- 28:15that's being mined, but there's a limit and I don't know the
- 28:19specifics what how many more years and it's very limited.
- 28:23The additional a Bitcoin that's being created.
- 28:26It's kind of like gold. There's so much gold and silver
- 28:29in the world. And every year there's a little
- 28:31bit more added through mining perspectives.
- 28:35But yeah, eventually, eventually everything comes back to assets
- 28:41that are finite in nature and it and then there's this
- 28:45relationship between gold and silver, which I think is, you
- 28:51know, a lot of people are telling me that Unicorn fart
- 28:54dust and I believe this. I'm I'm champion this champion
- 28:59championing this as well that that that UFD is almost like a
- 29:03baby Bitcoin and that there's a similar ish relationship that
- 29:08you see between gold and silver between there's also a similar
- 29:12relationship between Bitcoin and in in UFD or that that will
- 29:18develop more overtime. Yeah.
- 29:20And I think like Golden Shoal for have their own usage.
- 29:28Probably that holds true in in in Bitcoin and UFD as well.
- 29:34And of course we see sometimes when the Bitcoin price goes up
- 29:40Unicorn farts this also goes up. Like there is the relation in
- 29:45between gold and silver, there is a relation in between UFD and
- 29:51and Bitcoin. Yeah, but we are independent.
- 29:56The the last weeks I have started to follow like I am a
- 30:02precious metal investor. I have some gold and silver
- 30:06coins and I look to the gold silver ratio.
- 30:09Why am I doing this? Because I feel silver is
- 30:13currently damn cheap and then in the future I potentially can
- 30:19rotate some of those silver coins into gold or visa versa.
- 30:25And I I think the same holds true.
- 30:27For. The the in between the relation
- 30:30the the gold Bitcoin and the silver UFDI feel UFD is
- 30:37currently them cheap and we only start at 12 a week.
- 30:42So if you look to the ratio chart in between Bitcoin and
- 30:47UFD, the chart is only existing for the 12 weeks while gold and
- 30:53silver ratio is existing already for a thousands of years, right?
- 30:58But still I feel. Almost the exact OP.
- 31:00I mean, it's interesting, but it's very like the the time
- 31:04frames are vastly different, but there is that relationship.
- 31:09Yeah. And, and I feel some people on
- 31:12crypto Twitter are talking about is the Alts season going to
- 31:18start? And then they look to the ratio
- 31:22of meme versus Bitcoin. And well, I'm extremely
- 31:29positive. Yeah, yeah.
- 31:30I I I feel with a joke that it's not the the alt season which is
- 31:37going to start, but I really feel the UFD 25 season is going
- 31:43to start soon. Yeah, Yeah.
- 31:45You know, you brought up a great point I want to touch on and
- 31:48that is which I which which I firmly believe in as well that
- 31:53as UFDS community and as the token price continues to in my
- 31:59opinion improve over time that we could move into even more.
- 32:04And I think we've seen it already happening into more of a
- 32:08position where we're more insulated from what's going on
- 32:13in the in the crypto world and even the financial world that we
- 32:16have this unique opportunity because of how decentralized we
- 32:21are, how democratized we are, that we can almost create our
- 32:25own microcosm of value. And that's going to be driven by
- 32:30the community continuing to do what it's already doing.
- 32:33I mean, the community is taking on a life of its own.
- 32:39And there's no reason why we can't.
- 32:40You know, I want to bring up an important part, the Mr.
- 32:43Armstrong, I believe his last name is who's the CEO of
- 32:46Coinbase recently pointed out the fact that the US dollar,
- 32:52right? And I love the US dollar, right.
- 32:54I grew up here is basically a meme coin at this point.
- 32:57And he also said that Bitcoin is basically a meme coin.
- 33:02And that I've also heard some of the smartest people in the
- 33:06crypto world point out that a lot of these alt coins and
- 33:10utility coins that are pushed out by these big, you know,
- 33:15project teams and DC teams that are going to have all these
- 33:18great uses and all that, that the reality is that 95% of them
- 33:23never are able to deliver on the promises that they that they
- 33:27that they give when they're pushed out at such high prices
- 33:31and that they eventually just become meme coins.
- 33:35So I think that, well, I'm very optimistic as well.
- 33:40I've talked too much so. Hey can you show you as the the
- 33:45Lego train you used in the past actually to?
- 33:49Yeah, I'll go grab that. I'll be right back.
- 33:51To explain the relation actually to in between gold and silver,
- 33:55because you showed in your silver podcast that there is an
- 33:59elastic bands in between gold and and and silver.
- 34:05Yeah. And like there is an elastic
- 34:08band in between the gold and silver.
- 34:10We could argue maybe there's also an elastic band in between
- 34:15the Bitcoin, yeah, the gold Bitcoin and the silver you.
- 34:19Are right, all right, so I will explain this with my childhood
- 34:23talk a truck and my childhood. It was Tonka instead of Lego.
- 34:29Stopper, Yeah, stopper. It's a stomper.
- 34:32But it, and what Vincent is referring to is the what's
- 34:36referred to as the gold to silver ratio, which for
- 34:39thousands of years has measured how many ounces of silver it
- 34:44takes to buy one ounce of gold. So you take the gold price,
- 34:48which currently is about 2800, twenty, $900 and you would
- 34:53divide it by the silver price, which for example purposes, well
- 34:57we'll say gold's 3000 for example purposes and silver's
- 35:01$30.00. That would mean that it would to
- 35:03get one ounce of gold, it would take 100 ounces of silver.
- 35:09That is historically very, very long.
- 35:12So I'm going to scoot over here so that that means, and this is
- 35:15a rubber giant red rubber band. That means the gold price you
- 35:19pull the gold is over here. Okay, and the silver price is
- 35:23back here. There's a lot of tension on this
- 35:26rubber band, right? That's a historically very, very
- 35:30big ratio that it would take you 100 ounces of silver, 90 I think
- 35:35roughly is what it actually is or 88 right now to get one ounce
- 35:38of gold that when that corrects, it usually corrects and what
- 35:41they call like a boomerang fashion.
- 35:44So all that tension is let free and the silver price really
- 35:48flies. And I think what what you're
- 35:50also referring to as we compare, if you think of the gold instead
- 35:54of this being the gold truck, this is Bitcoin, which a lot of
- 35:57people re I like to refer to as digital gold.
- 36:01And let's say that the stopper who I think I can turn on
- 36:04temporarily, there it is. There's us the little the little
- 36:11UFD, right, the BAT ratio you turn that off that is UFD or or
- 36:20other cryptos as well that are that are going to do well that
- 36:23that is that ratio stretches out as as Bitcoin goes higher that
- 36:28it will pull meme coins like UFD along.
- 36:32And you can even think of this as Solana to a certain degree,
- 36:35but eventually right with our with our because we are
- 36:38undervalued right now in my opinion that when the market
- 36:42does correct itself, that UFD could could really catapult as
- 36:46well. Did I do OK with my description?
- 36:48It's fantastic. And the way how you explain this
- 36:52Rome is very powerful and then people start to understand maybe
- 37:00a complex topic like the gold sulfur ratio or the Bitcoin UFD
- 37:06ratio. But I think it is important for
- 37:09all distress to understand that that that concept and I indeed
- 37:14feel that the tension is currently building, building up
- 37:19and we might have a big rocket. Catapult.
- 37:24Catapult, yeah. Launching soon.
- 37:28Absolutely. Thanks for showing this and I'm
- 37:32I'm really proud to have touched the the.
- 37:35Tonka car, yeah, yeah, yeah, the Tonka car, and it has a trailer,
- 37:39has a bulldozer back here as well that we'll have to
- 37:42incorporate at some point in the future.
- 37:44Do you actually know is Tonka is at the Sweden brands or not?
- 37:48I don't know. I think Taka is a Swedish brand.
- 37:51I have to look that up. Yeah, yeah.
- 37:53We didn't talk yet, Ron, about what we have in common.
- 37:58I am Dutch and I also understood that you have a Dutch
- 38:02background. Yep, Yep I do.
- 38:03My great grandfather was a Dutchman who fought in the Boer
- 38:08War in South Africa and then came to Saint Louis for the 19 O
- 38:134 World's Fair 'cause there was a bore war exhibition and stayed
- 38:18here. And that's how I wound up.
- 38:20That's on my mom's side of the family.
- 38:22And then interestingly, the bore war was fought over gold in
- 38:26South, that South Africa has massive amounts of gold.
- 38:30And you know, there are so many similarities between
- 38:34cryptocurrency and precious metals.
- 38:37I said that long ago on my gold and silver channel that like
- 38:42gold and silver investors and crypto investors are like really
- 38:47see the world through the same eyes, right?
- 38:51The idea behind Fiat money and, and, and, and there's some
- 38:56peace. Some of some of them, like you,
- 38:58like me, that appreciate both. There's some gold and silver
- 39:03investors that just absolutely want nothing to do with crypto.
- 39:08I think what's interesting though that I've learned in the
- 39:11last 12 weeks is the crypto community is much more open and
- 39:20even interested in a lot of ways into learning about precious
- 39:23metals as well. I that, that was something that
- 39:27really surprised me because coming from the gold and silver
- 39:30community, I would often hear, you know, some people that were
- 39:34very anti crypto, I guess you would say, and there aren't on
- 39:39the crypto side. There's just a lot of people who
- 39:41are interested. I always said silver is the
- 39:44original cryptocurrency cause silver was actually money long
- 39:48before gold was used as money. Yeah.
- 39:50And actually you could say that's a lot of silver stackers.
- 39:56They are of course interested in having Oz and that is also how
- 40:02they compare with each other. And I I also buy once in a while
- 40:09some nice silver coins but. Next to only collecting Oz, I
- 40:16also recognize that I like to buy some special silver coins
- 40:22with a nice design or maybe telling a kind of historic
- 40:28story. And from that perspective, you
- 40:31could almost say that the silver coins are actually a kind of
- 40:37meme. Isn't it?
- 40:38Yeah. Well, here's one here.
- 40:39I'll show the audience real quick.
- 40:41This came from Bully and Betty. I think she has a Etsy shop.
- 40:45There we go, focus. Fantastic.
- 40:47It's a Unicorn. This is actually, it's a one
- 40:49ounce silver coin. I show you the back real quick.
- 40:52I think it's from Ghana, Africa. There's a lot of countries all
- 40:56over the world that's not going to focus, but see if I can read
- 41:00it on there. Yeah, the Republic of Ghana and
- 41:04there's so there's a picture of Queen Elizabeth on there, but I
- 41:07don't think it's going to focus for some reason on this
- 41:10backside. There it is.
- 41:12All right, focus. Yeah.
- 41:14And like, like in the silver stores, you build up a kind of
- 41:23relation with the person who is selling you the the silver
- 41:27coins. And the relation is not only
- 41:30about the transaction. Actually, I, I, I respect the
- 41:36guy in Delft in the Netherlands because his extreme knowledge
- 41:42about all of these coins or these memes.
- 41:47And that is really fantastic. And I almost feel like the the
- 41:52strengths of UFD is that it is not only about a transaction, it
- 41:58is about really the relation we are.
- 42:01Absolutely. Building isn't this.
- 42:03Oh, absolutely, no, absolutely. It's about the the common shared
- 42:07beliefs that the UFD community has.
- 42:10It's about the the relationships that people form.
- 42:14It's about this right now because I feel like, you know, I
- 42:17have a relationship with you. It's our friend Saff described
- 42:22it recently to me as like a spider web where we're all
- 42:25little nodes on the spider web where we're all connected with
- 42:29each other and, and, and part of the same structure and connected
- 42:36in all different kinds of ways. And people, like I said earlier,
- 42:39contributing artistic talent, verbal talent, music talent, all
- 42:44kinds of talent, right? Charisma, talent like you have
- 42:48like personality. So yeah, absolutely.
- 42:51And it's, and it's, it is real similar, you know, the, the, to
- 42:55the precious metals community, but in particular with silver,
- 42:58there's, there, there's a, there's a very strong silver
- 43:03community. I know here in the United
- 43:05States, the people that are enthusiastic about silver and
- 43:08they have relationships and they, you know, at the end of
- 43:10the day, the only, you know, the only reason silver is, is
- 43:15valuable. And the only reason gold is
- 43:17valuable and the only reason Unicorn fart dust is valuable is
- 43:21because you have a group of people that agree that it's
- 43:24valuable, a community that really that is, that agrees that
- 43:28it's valuable. And you know, we see that I'll
- 43:32end with this. We see that value.
- 43:36I always ask people, you know, that that that are that are
- 43:38skeptical of the value of meme coins.
- 43:40I'll say, well, what's the most valuable thing in your life of
- 43:44everything? Material things, non material
- 43:47things. And if I ask you that question,
- 43:50Vincent, I know you have a couple sons.
- 43:52You told me. I would imagine you would say
- 43:55the most valuable thing in your life is your family, in your
- 43:58relationships. Yeah.
- 43:59You and you really want to fight for that.
- 44:02You want to fight. You want to be there for your
- 44:06for your family and I, I feel that makes UFD unique.
- 44:13And maybe the last thing I wanted to share with the the
- 44:16people watching is the unique strength is that we are so
- 44:21extremely resilient. Yeah.
- 44:24So today is an easy day to be a duster.
- 44:28A few weeks ago, it was not so easy to be a duster.
- 44:33You have some had some days but also really not easy to be in
- 44:39duster because all your beans got hacked.
- 44:42Right. Yeah, and all the whole
- 44:43community brought the beans. I sat right here and cried.
- 44:50But I think the power of UFD is the community strengths in also
- 44:58in the bad times like in a marriage, a marriage is also for
- 45:03a long time. I've never had any and and.
- 45:09I, I, I think the resilience of the UFD community is built on
- 45:14your family name, Ron. I believe your family name is
- 45:19Bronstettar. And Bronstettar means the city
- 45:24or the house rebuilt after the fire.
- 45:28And we have experienced quite some foot together and UD
- 45:34together as as as disguised. And that makes us strong,
- 45:38because you can only become stronger when you learn from.
- 45:44Adversity. The adversity and the and and
- 45:47the events and I think the power of view of the is that we are
- 45:51continuously learning and even in adverse times we keep up the
- 45:58smile and and be positive on crypto Twitter because we are
- 46:05different there. I connect to crypto Twitter why?
- 46:12Because I know there's positive messages on on UFD.
- 46:17If we would all would be talking about the other coins and right
- 46:23then I don't get the energy out of this community and EU of D,
- 46:29this doesn't give me energy because the art, the memes, the
- 46:35conversations are good and the conversations are positive.
- 46:40And I think that is thanks to the values of U of D, your
- 46:46values. And today, I've also learned
- 46:50that those values are really ingrained into your hometown,
- 46:55Saint Louis, because we saw those four unicorns with the
- 46:59four power. You let out the.
- 47:02Secret every. Every.
- 47:04All the all the dusters are going to come to Saint Louis to
- 47:06see the ultimate Arch and the four secret unicorns and but you
- 47:10got to get a a private tour from my friend Vincent here, right?
- 47:14I hope to to come back and see the Unicorn farther start car
- 47:20driving around the streets of Saint Louis.
- 47:24And as earlier we talked about in this video, I hope to see it
- 47:28actually in It's difficult to bring it to Amsterdam, but I, I
- 47:33really want to see the, the car around Chicago near this big
- 47:38bean because every duster deserves that our beans grow to,
- 47:45to unlimited value and our community grows unlimited.
- 47:50Yeah, Yeah. We really can go to mean we have
- 47:52unlimited opportunity. You brought up something that I
- 47:56want to touch on and that is that, you know that we grow
- 47:59through adversity and we have had every adversity thrown at
- 48:03us, which I think is a big, big, big benefit for UFD.
- 48:08We have wings of steel. I mean, what we've accomplished
- 48:11in these 12 weeks, the word recording this on the 2nd of
- 48:15March 2025 has really been exceptional and has been done in
- 48:20the face of many almost, you know, David Gockstein.
- 48:23So they like you guys have been hit with everything like we've
- 48:26been hit with everything from from hacks to a tough market to
- 48:31you name it. And and hey, that's good.
- 48:33I look at that as a good thing because you mentioned the word
- 48:37fight. I know that the people out
- 48:38there, I know that the dusters in the Diamond hooves are like
- 48:43willing to fight for UFD. I'm willing to fight for UFD.
- 48:48Vincent, thank you. Thanks for coming to Saint.
- 48:50Louis, it was an honour to be here.
- 48:53Thank you so much and having me in your house on Sunday.
- 48:56Yeah, well, thank you. Thanks to our viewer for joining
- 48:59us. Thanks to our sponsors, Moon Pay
- 49:02and Ledger. And we're going to see you next
- 49:04time. We'll have Vincent on next time
- 49:06he comes to Saint Louis to visit those four unicorns downtown
- 49:09Saint Louis. Thank you.
- 49:11Everybody bye bye, go you over the.
- 49:13Go, you go. Yeah.
