Welcome to nature daily wager. I ain't picking winners but I am
• 0:10
making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:20
July 31st, 2025 and we got 2 glorious things happening today.
• 0:27
We got trade deadline and MLB. Lots of people going all over
• 0:31
the place. Teams making moves, being
• 0:34
buyers, sellers trying to make their team better, others
• 0:37
mortgaging their future for no reason but thinking that they're
• 0:40
going to make their team better. And as awesome as that is what
• 0:44
we really got, what we're all happy about.
• 0:46
But some of us are just learning, not myself, but you,
• 0:49
that we have football tonight. NFL preseason, Hall of Fame
• 0:55
football. All right, this is what it's
• 0:58
about. There is football on TV,
• 1:01
football to bet on. Oh, baby, it's July and I got
• 1:05
football. So tonight, looking at this
• 1:08
Chargers Lions game, I'm of course looking at this total.
• 1:13
I like betting totals, especially in the preseason,
• 1:16
especially on these super early games when you got a bunch of
• 1:20
nobodies and never worse and never will.
• 1:23
Bees that end up going out there after like the first series,
• 1:27
which usually is a positive for the defense because they know
• 1:31
where they're they're doing. All they got to do is get out
• 1:33
there and tackle somebody offense on the other side.
• 1:36
You need a guy that can actually sling the pill and a running
• 1:40
back that actually knows what they're doing.
• 1:42
And usually if you're really that good, probably not playing
• 1:44
in the preseason game. So I like to take the unders.
• 1:47
And the good thing is tonight I'm getting a discount.
• 1:50
And you know how much I love a discount.
• 1:52
So we're going to take under 33 1/2 total points for -105
• 1:58
between the Chargers and Lions in tonight's Thursday night NFL
• 2:04
Hall of Fame football action. See anything better than that?
• 2:07
Found it. That's my pick and I'm sticking
• 2:09
  to it. Oh yeah, football.
