- 0:33Speaker 4: to grow up. He just stayed Tommy Lee.
- 0:35Speaker 5: I'm glad you finally got to have him on. It
- 0:38Speaker 5: was very cool, So it's good.
- 0:39Speaker 2: It's weird.
- 0:40Speaker 4: He's he's really in a Bonzie trees.
- 0:42Speaker 5: Oh, big time crazy, like hundred years find his uh
- 0:47Speaker 5: his you make him yourself his yard will He sets
- 0:50Speaker 5: up like a whole like zen garden type of it's
- 0:52Speaker 5: pretty wild. But he's he's been into those and he
- 0:55Speaker 5: likes to trim him up and uh, you know, it's
- 0:57Speaker 5: pretty pretty wild. He's just he's a positive energy, nice
- 1:01Speaker 5: guy like he's never never been and my you know,
- 1:05Speaker 5: what do you want to say interactions with him? Never
- 1:07Speaker 5: he's never been a dick never, he never just he
- 1:10Speaker 5: was cool.
- 1:10Speaker 4: To work for. Well, I only worked I met him
- 1:13Speaker 4: rather when you were working with him, when you were
- 1:15Speaker 4: his bodyguard, and then, uh, this is the other time
- 1:17Speaker 4: I met him. So he's super cool, nice, good.
- 1:19Speaker 5: I remember him in the car, in the car, I
- 1:25Speaker 5: remember his peckers as tall as you are.
- 1:28Speaker 4: I remember him huge dick with He's got a lot
- 1:34Speaker 4: of advantages in this life, doesn't he. Good lord, goddamn
- 1:39Speaker 4: person and one of the greatest drummers of all time.
- 1:42Speaker 4: That was like one of the first sex tapes. Oh yeah,
- 1:44Speaker 4: that was yeah for sure.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Celebrities celebrities allowed them to get famous afterwards.
- 1:50Speaker 4: Well, they were already famous. That was what I was crazy.
- 1:52Speaker 4: Both of them were super famous.
- 1:54Speaker 3: But I mean allowed that like to keep the catapult
- 1:56Speaker 3: them into like a different stratosphere.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Right, Well, anytime one of them solebrities dating another celebrity,
- 2:01Speaker 4: it's like they're fucking superpowers unite. Yeah right right, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 2:11Speaker 4: I mean, who's fun, dude. The trees thing is wild though,
- 2:15Speaker 4: I didn't know that. These people they have like one
- 2:17Speaker 4: hundred year old trees, two hundred year old tree, three
- 2:20Speaker 4: hundred year old bonds, eye trees, and they pass them
- 2:22Speaker 4: down through generations. They have like paperwork, so you know, like,
- 2:25Speaker 4: who's the guy who first started the tree? And they've
- 2:27Speaker 4: got these trees that are like several hundred years old
- 2:30Speaker 4: and they're like this big, and they're in like a
- 2:32Speaker 4: pot trimming. It's all like an artistic thing. They're trimming
- 2:37Speaker 4: them in certain patterns and every time they try to grow,
- 2:40Speaker 4: you trim them down and they just like tighten up
- 2:42Speaker 4: and it makes a weird form. It comes back pretty
- 2:46Speaker 4: cool looking. Yeah.
- 2:47Speaker 5: Actually I wonder if.
- 2:47Speaker 4: The tree likes it, though. Motherfucker, three hundred years old,
- 2:54Speaker 4: sixteen inches tall. This is thing for him.
- 3:00Speaker 5: He's had such a crazy, high paced life that to
- 3:04Speaker 5: the yang, you know what I mean, that's how he relaxes.
- 3:06Speaker 4: I loved hearing it. It sounded perfect. I was like, oh,
- 3:09Speaker 4: you found a great thing. And you see he's a
- 3:10Speaker 4: gearhead too, like you. So yeah, he was talking about
- 3:14Speaker 4: the cars. First cars he bought. He bought an old Corvette.
- 3:18Speaker 4: He got a fucking supercharger put on it.
- 3:21Speaker 5: Yeah, he's a maniac. He's definitely a maniac, but he's
- 3:24Speaker 5: a very nice.
- 3:25Speaker 4: I mean, the guy was the drummer from Motley Crew.
- 3:30Speaker 4: I don't can't even at eighteen I can't even imagine
- 3:32Speaker 4: what that one has been like, must have been insane.
- 3:35Speaker 6: A lot of these guys they don't want to stop
- 3:38Speaker 6: touring all these rock and rolls.
- 3:40Speaker 5: Why would they want to?
- 3:42Speaker 6: But though some of them. I saw some clips.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Who the fuck was David Roth? No, I think it
- 3:49Speaker 4: was the guy from A C D C Brian Johnson.
- 3:52Speaker 4: I don't know if.
- 3:53Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a DC my favorite, one of my favorite
- 3:57Speaker 5: all time bands. And Brian Johnson struggling about that screaming
- 4:00Speaker 5: style he has, Wow, to keep that?
- 4:03Speaker 4: Do you keep that going? Like no acting or vocal
- 4:06Speaker 4: coach whatever tell you could sing like that?
- 4:09Speaker 5: I don't think so.
- 4:10Speaker 4: You can't fucking scream like that. I wonder if they
- 4:15Speaker 4: get like sixty year old groupies year old groupies and
- 4:22Speaker 4: they're keeping that flame lit since the eighties, of course.
- 4:26Speaker 2: But do they have like new groupies though?
- 4:28Speaker 4: Of course, of course, you know there's no way they know,
- 4:32Speaker 4: like doesn't what's what? What? What is his name? Jesus Christ.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Rolling Stones?
- 4:43Speaker 4: I forget what. Mick Jagger, Well, I know Mick Jagger
- 4:46Speaker 4: has a kid that's really young, Like Mick Jagger just
- 4:49Speaker 4: had a kid like really recently. Wow.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Yeah, he's like in his eighties, I.
- 4:53Speaker 4: Was thinking of someone else, though someone else is another
- 4:56Speaker 4: There's a bunch of guys like that, like Alpa Chino just.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's true.
- 4:59Speaker 4: But a lot of older guys like that, they wind
- 5:02Speaker 4: up having kids, like they're still obviously getting young chicks
- 5:06Speaker 4: to fuck them.
- 5:07Speaker 2: It's kind of irresponsible.
- 5:08Speaker 5: Mean, But maybe he's crazy. He don't take care of
- 5:12Speaker 5: the kid. But maybe it's the young chick that wants
- 5:14Speaker 5: the kids that's yours.
- 5:16Speaker 4: But it's still if you did it on purpose. If
- 5:17Speaker 4: you're the guy and you did it on purpose, that's wild.
- 5:20Speaker 4: You don't even want to be around. You have this
- 5:22Speaker 4: kid at eighty it's more important than my jeans pass
- 5:25Speaker 4: on than i'd be there for my child.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Think about that. By the time you're eighty five, you're
- 5:29Speaker 2: probably gone.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, by the time you're eighty five, you.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Won't even see your kid go to school.
- 5:34Speaker 4: You'll be five years old and the kid, you know,
- 5:37Speaker 4: the kid will be five years old and the dad dies.
- 5:39Speaker 6: Maybe the maybe the wife wanted it. You leave something
- 5:43Speaker 6: behind type of thing.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Maybe it's better than not doing it. Maybe, But also,
- 5:49Speaker 4: if you're a fucking rational eighty year old.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Take care of yourself.
- 5:54Speaker 4: You keep your own ship in your pants. You're gonna
- 5:58Speaker 4: be both when your diapers sent the kid to the park,
- 6:03Speaker 4: ranging the kids diapers and yours, bro. You gonna break
- 6:07Speaker 4: a hip and your toddler is gonna be screaming and
- 6:09Speaker 4: no one will hear it, right, and you're gonna be
- 6:11Speaker 4: alone with them at the park, lying there, bleeding internally
- 6:14Speaker 4: from a broken hip, and the kid's gonna walk off
- 6:20Speaker 4: five years old, yeah, three year old wander off and
- 6:23Speaker 4: you're eighties nuts. Oh yeah, by the way, longo, you
- 6:26Speaker 4: got him upset because.
- 6:28Speaker 6: He's like, man, I've been feeling good. He's like, you know,
- 6:32Speaker 6: I'm at the gym every day and I gonna fucking
- 6:35Speaker 6: I turned on Rogan and he's bitching about being fifty eight.
- 6:38Speaker 2: I'm like, what the fuck.
- 6:40Speaker 6: He's sixty eight. Oh, he's like yo, yo, yeah, he's
- 6:44Speaker 6: playing fifty eight. He's really sixty eight. He looks great,
- 6:48Speaker 6: he looks he looks real.
- 6:49Speaker 4: Stret got dark ass hair, right, I know, right, And
- 6:52Speaker 4: he don't have he don't have Reagan hair. He's looking
- 6:57Speaker 4: he's looking good.
- 6:58Speaker 5: That's great.
- 6:58Speaker 2: And then he asked me about it. What the fuck?
- 7:01Speaker 4: Ronald Reagan had dark hair, like deep in Like second,
- 7:06Speaker 4: my ship is all white. If I grew my if
- 7:08Speaker 4: I had hair and I grew it out, it'd be
- 7:09Speaker 4: all great. Really. Yeah. Mostly it's like my face, like
- 7:12Speaker 4: my figure is my stubble. It's like at least sixty
- 7:15Speaker 4: percent gray. Yeah, mine is all right now. Yeah, it's weird.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Something about a gray beard. That's like you're just saying
- 7:21Speaker 4: fuck it. Yeah, that's why I I.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Just started trimming it down. I was like, Yo, this
- 7:25Speaker 2: is ridiculous.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't like it. It looks when I see
- 7:29Speaker 4: myself in the mirror with a gray beard, like, who
- 7:31Speaker 4: the fuck are you? Yeah, it's supposed to have a
- 7:33Speaker 4: dark beard, for sure. I had a dark beard most
- 7:35Speaker 4: of my life.
- 7:35Speaker 3: I'm looking at pictures and I'm like a couple of
- 7:38Speaker 3: years ago and it's dark.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Now it's all gray, Like, what the fuck happens?
- 7:41Speaker 6: They had a thing on A and E with me
- 7:43Speaker 6: and George and they had He showed a clip of
- 7:45Speaker 6: me and you talking. I still we both had hair. Yeah, crazy,
- 7:52Speaker 6: it looks crazy.
- 7:53Speaker 4: It's weird. You look at what you're just slowly slipping
- 7:57Speaker 4: into the grave. We're looking good though, because all we
- 8:03Speaker 4: can yes, compared to people that don't take care of
- 8:04Speaker 4: themselves and also compared to people from the past.
- 8:07Speaker 3: That's what Yeah, you know, I don't quit think about
- 8:14Speaker 3: like in the eighties, what forty year olds looked like
- 8:16Speaker 3: in eighties, right, Yeah, it was.
- 8:17Speaker 5: And I think the like martial arts also helps. Like
- 8:21Speaker 5: we just had an event Henzo's thirtieth anniversary for this
- 8:26Speaker 5: academy in the US, and they invited all the ogs,
- 8:29Speaker 5: so you know, we were I seen guys hadn't seen
- 8:31Speaker 5: a decade, got a fifth degree, but.
- 8:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I got that. That's amazing.
- 8:38Speaker 5: And uh, I mean we were talking like almost everybody
- 8:41Speaker 5: looked good, everybody, everybody.
- 8:43Speaker 4: And there was continue to train sixty guys there. It's
- 8:46Speaker 4: the thing is that you you got to maintain, and
- 8:49Speaker 4: if you don't maintain, you're never getting it back. Yeah,
- 8:51Speaker 4: you don't. You don't get You can't like at fifty,
- 8:54Speaker 4: you can't take three years off like star. It's just
- 8:57Speaker 4: too hard to get back. And if you never worked
- 8:59Speaker 4: out before and you're like forty six and you're starting now,
- 9:04Speaker 4: that's a hard road. Man, you've never worked out before,
- 9:07Speaker 4: Like first of all, go slow, yeah, yeah, break everything.
- 9:10Speaker 5: Well that's the problem people want to jump right in
- 9:12Speaker 5: and then you get hurt or get busted up a
- 9:14Speaker 5: little bit, and then you just defeats you know what
- 9:17Speaker 5: I mean, you're like this, which is the big get injured.
- 9:21Speaker 4: The big reality about age is how long it takes
- 9:22Speaker 4: to heal something. My kids get hurt, they just fucking
- 9:25Speaker 4: heal up like wolverine. It's nuts, Like with a few
- 9:28Speaker 4: days and on my shoulders fine again, like you fucking
- 9:30Speaker 4: just a backflip and lay on your shoulder. You're right,
- 9:33Speaker 4: I would be fucked up for a year. Yeah, they
- 9:35Speaker 4: just they just heal quicker. They're alive.
- 9:39Speaker 5: I mean, it's the fucking truth.
- 9:42Speaker 4: That's the truth, man. Truth. That's the number one thing
- 9:44Speaker 4: that happens as you get older.
- 9:46Speaker 6: If your lifers like us, you just got to be
- 9:48Speaker 6: smart about your training.
- 9:50Speaker 4: Like you know, I got young savages. I don't want.
- 9:52Speaker 2: I don't fucking I choose who I want to roll with.
- 9:55Speaker 6: Like you know, you don't got to be that guy
- 9:57Speaker 6: to fucking just slay everybody on the mat because s
- 10:00Speaker 6: you're gonna.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Break, you'll break. You know. It's like you have a
- 10:03Speaker 4: corvette you're taking around the track. You can only do
- 10:06Speaker 4: so many laps. Every car, even Formula one cars that
- 10:10Speaker 4: cost one hundred million dollars. Whatever they break, you can
- 10:12Speaker 4: only go so far, so fast, so long before you
- 10:15Speaker 4: blow a rod. You got some shit goes sideways. Everybody
- 10:19Speaker 4: I know is at surgery. Can't everybody like for me?
- 10:23Speaker 3: Like when I'm in Philly with the crew, Brady and
- 10:25Speaker 3: Pypher and them, like, it's hard being in a room
- 10:28Speaker 3: with these guys because they want to grab you and
- 10:30Speaker 3: do moves on you, and I'm like, chill out, man,
- 10:32Speaker 3: just grab one of the younger guys.
- 10:33Speaker 4: Bro. The last guy you want grabbing you is Brady.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Yeah, Jesus, and he gets on top of you, just
- 10:39Speaker 3: starts squeezing you.
- 10:40Speaker 4: Willowy his that fucking fight with Joaquin Buckley, I was like,
- 10:44Speaker 4: holy shit, man, yeah, bro, it was whole. It was
- 10:47Speaker 4: the level of domination was like shocking. I was like, okay,
- 10:52Speaker 4: so this is his best form, Like this is him
- 10:55Speaker 4: at his best, at his best is fucking Terrible's little
- 10:59Speaker 4: incosist didn't like the Morales fight was tough. But when
- 11:03Speaker 4: and he said, it's like his head wasn't in it,
- 11:05Speaker 4: But when his fucking head is in it, and he's
- 11:07Speaker 4: like dialed in for sure.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Man, he's like when he grabs you row like he'll
- 11:11Speaker 3: squeeze you.
- 11:12Speaker 2: And you just start making like a little noise like
- 11:14Speaker 2: he did a.
- 11:15Speaker 4: Leon and what he did the walk and you're like,
- 11:18Speaker 4: holy shit, man, what is that like? That was beautiful, beautiful.
- 11:22Speaker 5: Explosive an athlete is like everywhere.
- 11:26Speaker 4: They went, he was just following him one step ahead.
- 11:29Speaker 4: It was like no escape.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, he don't want you out man, smush yeah,
- 11:33Speaker 3: and he just gets smushed back. Is so big, he
- 11:35Speaker 3: just gets so much coverage over you when he's on
- 11:37Speaker 3: top of you.
- 11:38Speaker 4: And the balance it's just every it's just like so
- 11:41Speaker 4: many steps ahead of them on the ground that the
- 11:43Speaker 4: one time it really looked like a cardio drill like
- 11:46Speaker 4: he was just it looked like he was just kidding,
- 11:50Speaker 4: like placid face, yeah, super calm.
- 11:53Speaker 6: I believe where they were he wasn't allowed to do
- 11:56Speaker 6: to twelve to six elbows.
- 11:57Speaker 4: Oh that's so crazy.
- 11:58Speaker 2: That's where I ride or wrong something like so this.
- 12:00Speaker 4: I think Jerseys still like that, yeah, yeah, yeah, there's
- 12:03Speaker 4: a lot of places that are like that.
- 12:04Speaker 5: And it's so dumb are still using the old unified rules.
- 12:07Speaker 4: It's so dumb like that that rule doesn't make any sense.
- 12:10Speaker 4: It would if it's you know, soccer kicks. Okay, you
- 12:14Speaker 4: want to have a debate, But if you can elbow
- 12:16Speaker 4: this way and this way and this way, but you
- 12:20Speaker 4: can't go this way, that's just retarded.
- 12:21Speaker 2: And everybody else is doing it, so why would you
- 12:24Speaker 2: not do it?
- 12:24Speaker 4: It doesn't make sense. And you have to remember what
- 12:26Speaker 4: state you're in, so like when you're in the fight
- 12:29Speaker 4: and you're on instinct and the guys like this, but
- 12:32Speaker 4: it's wide open for a twelve six elbow.
- 12:34Speaker 5: You're supposed to they're for safety's sake, and the fighters
- 12:39Speaker 5: and the referee's ability to make a decision have consistency
- 12:42Speaker 5: in the rule set.
- 12:43Speaker 4: It's just another elbow. It doesn't make any sense, like
- 12:46Speaker 4: this one elbow that's outlaw. That's crazy. I don't know
- 12:49Speaker 4: what you can. You can knee the hell out of
- 12:51Speaker 4: somebody in the face. You can you run, o god,
- 12:57Speaker 4: and some of the craziest knockouts we've ever seen income
- 13:00Speaker 4: from that. Like we were just talking about maz Vidal
- 13:02Speaker 4: versus asking the.
- 13:03Speaker 6: Other oh man, hey, he's supposed to be wrestling again,
- 13:09Speaker 6: Is that is that a good idea?
- 13:12Speaker 7: Non talking the other day when he was talking, he
- 13:17Speaker 7: was cool offing a lot, and I'm like, you listen,
- 13:19Speaker 7: when you're people who are athletes, they're afraid of wrestling
- 13:23Speaker 7: because it's exhausting.
- 13:24Speaker 6: They don't want to feel that that burn in their lungs.
- 13:26Speaker 6: You really want to push yourself like that. I worry
- 13:30Speaker 6: about I just don't want.
- 13:31Speaker 5: Him to get totally with you.
- 13:32Speaker 4: I mean, he had double lung transplant surgery. Like how
- 13:37Speaker 4: long ago.
- 13:37Speaker 3: I was like a year ago, maybe two years maybe
- 13:41Speaker 3: two years ago.
- 13:41Speaker 4: I'd be worried about infection. Yeah, I'd be worried about everything.
- 13:45Speaker 4: And I would also be worried if you're doing that,
- 13:48Speaker 4: I think you have to take immunosuppressant drugs in order
- 13:53Speaker 4: to keep someone else's organs inside of you.
- 13:55Speaker 5: So you're going to go out and to the giants.
- 13:57Speaker 4: My friend che Ct had a heart transplant and he
- 14:03Speaker 4: has to take medication to keep this heart in his body,
- 14:07Speaker 4: keep his body from rejecting it. And he has a
- 14:09Speaker 4: bunch of complications from their medication makes him swell, and
- 14:13Speaker 4: he posts videos and pictures about it like it's a
- 14:15Speaker 4: serious thing. And he had to be real careful during COVID,
- 14:19Speaker 4: Like you have a heart transplant, and then you're on
- 14:21Speaker 4: immuno subescent drugs and then all of a sudden or
- 14:23Speaker 4: a bad flu like anything bad will fucking kill you
- 14:26Speaker 4: because your immune system is working in a weird way
- 14:30Speaker 4: because it's trying to keep someone else's heart inside of you. Yeah,
- 14:33Speaker 4: your body's like, who's this fucking heart? Right heart to
- 14:37Speaker 4: shut it out? Your body's like, this is a disease,
- 14:40Speaker 4: which is wild that your body knows, like it recognizes that,
- 14:46Speaker 4: and we're just like, no, we can, we can hack nature,
- 14:49Speaker 4: shove it in there and give you some drugs that
- 14:52Speaker 4: make your body stay alive.
- 14:53Speaker 3: I think it was below Mohammed. Maybe he has like
- 14:57Speaker 3: an agreement together. They did use the train together, so
- 15:01Speaker 3: their friends. Maybe that's the deal.
- 15:03Speaker 4: We were just reading about this last night. Two people
- 15:05Speaker 4: have had pig hearts transplanted in their body. No way. Yeah.
- 15:09Speaker 4: One guy stayed alive I think for sixty days and
- 15:11Speaker 4: one guy stayed alive for forty days. Did they gain
- 15:14Speaker 4: a lot of weight? They shoveling their face in the trash? Idea?
- 15:31Speaker 2: Was it they put a pig heart in another human beings?
- 15:34Speaker 4: Uh, there's a bunch of doctors because apparently pig's hearts
- 15:37Speaker 4: for some reason, are similar in function to a human heart.
- 15:42Speaker 6: Sheep's vagina, They don't, they do.
- 15:49Speaker 4: That's what I heard.
- 15:50Speaker 6: I heard it too, So a pig's heart, Yeah, that's
- 15:55Speaker 6: fucking that's fucking crazy.
- 15:56Speaker 4: It's crazy. And so they did it on two people. Yeah,
- 16:00Speaker 4: But either way, the whole thing of transplanting organs from
- 16:03Speaker 4: other people is like super risky and dangerous, and once
- 16:06Speaker 4: it's working, the number of like we looked at heart transplants,
- 16:10Speaker 4: I don't know what it is for lung double lung transplants,
- 16:12Speaker 4: but look you look at mortality over a period of years,
- 16:16Speaker 4: and so it's like ninety one percent of the people
- 16:18Speaker 4: survived the first year, and then it starts and then
- 16:21Speaker 4: it starts going down, So nine percent of the people
- 16:23Speaker 4: die after the heart transplant, but then it starts to
- 16:26Speaker 4: go down after you know, that's for the first year.
- 16:29Speaker 4: When it gets to five years, then you're in the
- 16:31Speaker 4: eighties or the nineties, and then the eighties and it
- 16:33Speaker 4: keeps dipping, it keeps dipping until like at ten years,
- 16:37Speaker 4: it's like half of them are dead. Jesus. Yeah, so
- 16:39Speaker 4: you're buying some time, right, But you know, it's also
- 16:43Speaker 4: what about others? Good, it's a good question. So what
- 16:46Speaker 4: is it like for double lung transplant? I don't know,
- 16:48Speaker 4: but I would imagine it's fragile.
- 16:51Speaker 6: You want to put that in the fucking red you
- 16:52Speaker 6: want to push that when heavy? It felt like yesterday
- 16:55Speaker 6: he's making laps around the hospital floor, right, And that's
- 16:58Speaker 6: a dude.
- 16:59Speaker 4: He's a win, right, And that's the problem. Like sometimes
- 17:02Speaker 4: when you're a winner, your your will is so strong
- 17:06Speaker 4: that you think you could force your body into unrealistic expectations.
- 17:10Speaker 5: There's got to be some agreements.
- 17:12Speaker 4: Yeah, just in my mind too.
- 17:16Speaker 5: He cheated He I mean basically, you cheated death. Yes,
- 17:19Speaker 5: your family. Now you have your family back. You understand
- 17:22Speaker 5: you have a second chance. Like why would you put
- 17:24Speaker 5: that at risk to do something.
- 17:27Speaker 4: Maybe him and have nothing to prove? Like friendly? What's
- 17:31Speaker 4: kind of what I wrestling? Friendly wrestling? I don't think
- 17:35Speaker 4: he's an animal. I don't think that they have an
- 17:39Speaker 4: agreement with each other. I think did.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Somebody told hey, listen, man, don't push this dude.
- 17:44Speaker 5: But he said, like I saw an interview where he said, bro,
- 17:47Speaker 5: Like his first question was, what are you talking about?
- 17:50Speaker 5: Can he wrestle me? Even been cleared, so I would.
- 17:55Speaker 4: I would not accept that if I was not the
- 17:59Speaker 4: the pros. And this is no disrespect to Askrin. It's like,
- 18:03Speaker 4: I think that guy's an animal. Like I was one
- 18:05Speaker 4: of the biggest promoters of trying to get Askron into
- 18:07Speaker 4: the UFC when he was a champion of bellatur and
- 18:09Speaker 4: the art, and then when he went over to one
- 18:11Speaker 4: and the argument was like he was boring, and I
- 18:13Speaker 4: was like, no, he's not boring. It's crazy that he
- 18:16Speaker 4: could do this these guys. Yeah, he could take guys
- 18:18Speaker 4: like Douglas Lima and just ragged them to the ground
- 18:21Speaker 4: and they can't do shit to him. Christcoff, Yeah, yeah, he.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Wasn't boring at all.
- 18:26Speaker 4: He was destroyed guys. Yeah, dolling these they had zero
- 18:30Speaker 4: chance in him not taking them down. It was zero chance.
- 18:33Speaker 4: And it was beautiful, right. It wasn't like Alex Pereira
- 18:37Speaker 4: flying knee and somebody in the face, but it's still
- 18:39Speaker 4: another way to win it, like a man and a child. Yes, yeah,
- 18:42Speaker 4: it was crazy good. He was crazy good. And then
- 18:46Speaker 4: we got him like a little late, right, we got
- 18:48Speaker 4: him when he already had hit problems and he eventually
- 18:51Speaker 4: had to get a hip replacement after he got out
- 18:53Speaker 4: of the UFC. You know, he had already been fifteen
- 18:56Speaker 4: years in combat sports and then all the years of
- 18:58Speaker 4: wrestling and like. But those when he was running shit
- 19:01Speaker 4: at Bellator, he was a motherfucker. Dude was a motherfucker.

- 20:20Speaker 4: His fight with Damien Maya. That was fucking awesome, amazing.
- 20:23Speaker 4: That's a great note.
- 20:24Speaker 6: The beautiful thing about that fight is that both it's
- 20:28Speaker 6: almost like the closest thing to style verse style that
- 20:30Speaker 6: we could have nowadays.
- 20:32Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, they're both.
- 20:33Speaker 6: So brilliant at the way they use their art, with
- 20:38Speaker 6: him with his wrestling and him.
- 20:39Speaker 4: With a jiu jitsu.
- 20:40Speaker 6: And in that fight, you got you got to see
- 20:43Speaker 6: some of that with Ben, you got to see the
- 20:45Speaker 6: date downs, you got to see an uma plotter reversal
- 20:49Speaker 6: and leg lakashi reversal.
- 20:51Speaker 2: I mean, beautiful jiu jitsu. It was just such a
- 20:54Speaker 2: it was such a.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Great fight, dude, Damie and Maia got fucked harder than
- 20:57Speaker 4: anybody ever got fucked by a referees decision Tomorrow, ever,
- 21:01Speaker 4: nobody got fucked harder than dam Who was it? I
- 21:05Speaker 4: don't know, and maybe we shouldn't even pull the name up.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Boys like that. Man, I gotta see him.
- 21:12Speaker 4: I want to think. I don't remember that. I don't
- 21:14Speaker 4: remember who it was, but I think it's a guy
- 21:16Speaker 4: who doesn't do it in the UFC anymore. But he
- 21:19Speaker 4: had him on his back, one hook in over under.
- 21:24Speaker 4: He had gotten to a position where like, you're fucked,
- 21:26Speaker 4: you're dry, and you got the best back specialist in
- 21:30Speaker 4: the UFC. Damian Maya was the way he ran through
- 21:33Speaker 4: Neil Magnet, like shit, man, his jiu jitsu is so
- 21:38Speaker 4: high level and for you to get off, get him off.
- 21:42Speaker 4: And Tomorrow's one loss.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Right was Tourother.
- 21:48Speaker 4: So it's like, how many years ago was that like?
- 21:50Speaker 4: And now you're fighting Damian Maya and he's got your back,
- 21:52Speaker 4: You're in danger, You're in danger, and the referee separated
- 21:54Speaker 4: on me. Never got to that spot again. Kamorrow played
- 21:57Speaker 4: it nice. He fought a great fight, won the fight,
- 22:00Speaker 4: and you're like, damn, Damien had him. He had him
- 22:03Speaker 4: in a like not nine out of ten, but he
- 22:05Speaker 4: had him in like a six out of ten spot
- 22:07Speaker 4: for him. Yeah, like half the time he gets your
- 22:10Speaker 4: back and you're dry and you're not at his level
- 22:12Speaker 4: of jiu jitsu, you're in.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Fuck you should never you could. You should never separate
- 22:16Speaker 2: anybody from that position.
- 22:17Speaker 4: Now.
- 22:17Speaker 2: I know you're a big proponent of not standing people up, but.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Especially special positions that it requires time to get to
- 22:26Speaker 3: the idea that a god can defend it for a
- 22:28Speaker 3: few seconds in the crowd booze, and that's enough for
- 22:30Speaker 3: you to make them neutral again.
- 22:32Speaker 4: Fuck you.
- 22:33Speaker 6: It's so hard to get to tomorrow Tomorrow's back.
- 22:38Speaker 4: Like that, and the tightness is what keeps that position.
- 22:42Speaker 5: Any space he makes and gone.
- 22:44Speaker 4: Mean the amount of times in the history of Tomorrow's
- 22:48Speaker 4: entire all the years of competition where people got him
- 22:50Speaker 4: in disadvantageous grappling positions, I can't think of. There's very few,
- 22:56Speaker 4: very few. Leon Yeah, Jamiah, but Jamiah if he was
- 23:03Speaker 4: winning the third round.
- 23:05Speaker 6: So.
- 23:08Speaker 4: It came like that is a fight where here he
- 23:11Speaker 4: is here he is, this is crazy, oh ship all right?
- 23:20Speaker 4: So it sucks back it up again, so you can
- 23:22Speaker 4: see how good the position was. A little hook can
- 23:26Speaker 4: you get it a little further back. Yeah, here, so
- 23:29Speaker 4: I want to see it like Ranny starts entangling. This
- 23:32Speaker 4: is so bad for tomorrow. You have to understand how
- 23:35Speaker 4: bad this is. This is a This is not just
- 23:38Speaker 4: simply he's like behind you and.
- 23:41Speaker 5: The progression.
- 23:42Speaker 2: He was just about to beat that wizard.
- 23:44Speaker 4: Bro. Look how good this looks too. Maya is just
- 23:47Speaker 4: a gorilla.
- 23:48Speaker 5: His wrestling was underestimated too, Like he was just so
- 23:51Speaker 5: it was technically everything and this use of leverage and
- 23:56Speaker 5: his positioning was always perfect.
- 23:58Speaker 4: It just was so beautiful to want. When you see
- 24:00Speaker 4: a guy just super high level jiu jitsu in the UFCA,
- 24:03Speaker 4: you just like, oh my god, this is beautiful to watch. Yeah.
- 24:10Speaker 3: I love how methodical he's working his way his way
- 24:12Speaker 3: into this dangerous Oh my god, he was gonna step
- 24:18Speaker 3: Look at this.
- 24:19Speaker 2: That arm is the only thing and he's just about
- 24:21Speaker 2: to beat that arm and only that.
- 24:23Speaker 4: From here, he could just start beating him on the
- 24:25Speaker 4: right hand, which you'll probably start doing so if the
- 24:27Speaker 4: referee really stands him up from this position like this
- 24:31Speaker 4: is a This is a crazy way to separate people.
- 24:34Speaker 4: This is bad, man, This is like for tomorrow. This
- 24:37Speaker 4: is super dangerous. Hanging on to that wizard for dear
- 24:41Speaker 4: life is the only thing from keeping him from getting
- 24:43Speaker 4: this guy on your neck. That wizard is like at
- 24:47Speaker 4: forty power now, because look how far back is. Yeah,
- 24:51Speaker 4: not much into that, there's not much. It's hard. It's
- 24:54Speaker 4: hard to generate power like that with tomorrow. I mean,
- 24:56Speaker 4: he's got full double underhooks. How do they break this up?
- 25:00Speaker 4: How do you break this up? This is crazy to
- 25:03Speaker 4: break up like this is such a dangerous position.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Oh, this is bad.
- 25:09Speaker 4: I don't recognize the ref Yeah, I can't remember, I recognize.
- 25:13Speaker 4: I'm not going to say his name, no need to,
- 25:15Speaker 4: but this is a giant mistake herb. Sometimes sometimes in fights, man,
- 25:23Speaker 4: these guys listen to the crowd. Yeah, it's it's kind
- 25:27Speaker 4: of hard not to write, and they feel responsible and
- 25:30Speaker 4: the organization. I'm sure they feel pressure because the organization
- 25:33Speaker 4: wants like fast action fights. But there's certain situations where
- 25:38Speaker 4: you you got to just accept the fact that sometimes
- 25:41Speaker 4: this sport is not the most exciting for moments because
- 25:44Speaker 4: it's so exciting in other spots right there, right crazy,
- 25:50Speaker 4: that's crazy, man, That's the worst fuck over that anybody's
- 25:54Speaker 4: ever gotten in the UFCA. I mean, I think that's
- 25:58Speaker 4: the one.
- 25:59Speaker 6: There is the time to fucking boost them ont. They
- 26:01Speaker 6: had to get a Toussions.
- 26:04Speaker 5: That's a pretty big That's who Mayer reminds me of.
- 26:07Speaker 5: His striking wasn't as good as Marillas, but their combination
- 26:10Speaker 5: of wrestling and his jiu jitsu, Like, once he got
- 26:13Speaker 5: ahold of you, he was probably gonna put Yeah.
- 26:15Speaker 4: Marilla was so good.
- 26:16Speaker 2: He's still coming around. He's got a fighter in the UFC.
- 26:19Speaker 4: Now, nice shit, doesn't That's awesome. Yeah. I saw him
- 26:22Speaker 4: when I first started jiu jitsu at Carlston Gracie's place,
- 26:25Speaker 4: did you. Yeah, the very first year that I started
- 26:27Speaker 4: jiu jitsu, it was like him, Vitor was there, Sergio Cohen, uh,
- 26:35Speaker 4: Mario Sperry was crazy. I had a ridiculous room doubt
- 26:41Speaker 4: and wound up watching these guys train when like Vtor
- 26:44Speaker 4: was about to make his UFC debut, I was just
- 26:45Speaker 4: starting out. I was like, this is amazing.
- 26:48Speaker 2: See them guys in there, Dude, they were.
- 26:50Speaker 4: All in there. Man. You could just come in off
- 26:51Speaker 4: the street and see the best jiu jitsu guys in
- 26:53Speaker 4: the world training.
- 26:54Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 26:55Speaker 4: It was crazy, and it was all they were. They
- 26:57Speaker 4: were all fighting in There was the other what's his name, Carlos,
- 27:04Speaker 4: that's right, carls Bad. He was there too. There was
- 27:07Speaker 4: a bunch of those Carlson Gracie team guys that we
- 27:09Speaker 4: just got lucky that this was the Yeah. Man, yeah,
- 27:14Speaker 4: built like a heat man figure. Carlson had some savages. Man,
- 27:17Speaker 4: he really had a great team. Yeah, yeah, it was
- 27:22Speaker 4: back then. That's why I got my black belt from Laboro. Yeah,
- 27:25Speaker 4: that's another guy to be a good guy, such a
- 27:28Speaker 4: nice guy. Yeah, it's like, uh, it's kind of amazing
- 27:32Speaker 4: when you realized that before nineteen ninety three, jiu jitsu
- 27:36Speaker 4: had no schools.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Right and now and now they're a corner where Yeah.
- 27:44Speaker 4: That is that's truly insane. Like the Gracie family, like
- 27:49Speaker 4: the world owes them. Yeah, well that about it owes them.
- 27:54Speaker 4: The world, the whole world.
- 27:55Speaker 2: World is in fact, I think.
- 27:56Speaker 4: Of the world, the world, the whole world, Yeah, everybody,
- 28:00Speaker 4: because I think liking MMA has impacted culture, and then
- 28:05Speaker 4: people training much more, people training in jiu jitsu has
- 28:08Speaker 4: impacted culture.
- 28:10Speaker 5: Hell yeah, where the fun.
- 28:11Speaker 4: Would we be?
- 28:12Speaker 5: Like the UFC's here because of the Gray season as well.
- 28:14Speaker 5: I mean, obviously the fatigua is in Dana, but you
- 28:17Speaker 5: have a whole arget, the whole thing. He would have
- 28:19Speaker 5: a crocodile mode around.
- 28:20Speaker 4: It's amazing.
- 28:24Speaker 6: I remember hearing about it in nineteen ninety two with
- 28:28Speaker 6: Horion and Hoist the seminar I went to and they
- 28:31Speaker 6: were talking about that. They were talking about the different ideas,
- 28:34Speaker 6: what they were going to do, and I, even though
- 28:36Speaker 6: I didn't think they were full of shit, I thought
- 28:39Speaker 6: it was never gonna happen.
- 28:40Speaker 4: I'm like, what is this bloodsport? I go on TV?
- 28:44Speaker 6: It sounded ridiculous, but now everybody's so used to it
- 28:47Speaker 6: it sounds ridiculous that it sounds ridiculous.
- 28:50Speaker 4: Io. When I first found out about it, I didn't
- 28:53Speaker 4: watch it until it was UFC two because I will
- 28:55Speaker 4: only watch some videotape. Like somebody from the gym told
- 28:57Speaker 4: me about it, and I went and watched it at
- 29:00Speaker 4: the videotape like Hollywood Video. Brought it home and I
- 29:02Speaker 4: was like, oh my god, they did it. They did
- 29:05Speaker 4: That's what I did, Like, they pulled this off. No,
- 29:09Speaker 4: they did the thing that we always wanted. So when
- 29:11Speaker 4: I was when I first started, yeah, I first started
- 29:14Speaker 4: taking karate and I thought karate was good until I
- 29:16Speaker 4: stumbled into this really good taeg Windows school and I
- 29:19Speaker 4: was like, oh tag Windows and ship. And then I
- 29:20Speaker 4: started boxing. I'm like, oh my god, I can't box.
- 29:22Speaker 4: And then I started kickboxing. I'm like, oh my god,
- 29:24Speaker 4: you kick my legs. I didn't know you can kick
- 29:26Speaker 4: my legs. This is terrible. And then I started doing
- 29:28Speaker 4: jiu jitsu, like, oh my god, I'm helpless. So it's
- 29:30Speaker 4: like all these steps along the way, I was like,
- 29:32Speaker 4: it wouldn't been nice if we knew what style was real,
- 29:35Speaker 4: and this is what Bruce Lee tried, and bro when
- 29:38Speaker 4: I was starting out in like eighty eight doing taekwond
- 29:41Speaker 4: nobody knew nothing, nobody knew what worked. Everybody just like sorry,
- 29:44Speaker 4: that guy beats people in that thing and that guy
- 29:46Speaker 4: be I wondered what happened to No one.
- 29:48Speaker 5: Knew was worthless?
- 29:52Speaker 4: Worthless? Yeah, but luckily I learned it was not worthless
- 29:55Speaker 4: in high school when I got my ass kids.
- 29:59Speaker 6: To it on a fucking wooden dummy to change ass,
- 30:05Speaker 6: that's all I know.
- 30:06Speaker 4: And every time, but you're a real scrap. I'd go
- 30:09Speaker 4: back to my season of eighth grade wrestling. That's the case.
- 30:12Speaker 4: But I also think that wing chung would work if
- 30:16Speaker 4: you knew all the other Like Anderson Silva can use
- 30:18Speaker 4: wing chung, right, you know what I'm saying about of
- 30:20Speaker 4: hand trapping, Yeah, there's hand trapping and elbows from him tire.
- 30:23Speaker 4: There's stuff that does work if you know all the
- 30:26Speaker 4: other shit. It's an added element, right, It's like there's
- 30:29Speaker 4: there's moves that you could do that you're just your
- 30:31Speaker 4: opponent's not gonna Your opponent is used to this, right,
- 30:34Speaker 4: they used to punches like regular punches every now and
- 30:37Speaker 4: then weird shit can work because they don't see it coming,
- 30:41Speaker 4: and then it opens up other big shots and ring
- 30:43Speaker 4: chung can those guys when you watch the really good
- 30:46Speaker 4: ones like whack at each other's arms and shit, you're like, Okay,
- 30:49Speaker 4: there's like a little value in this. There's a little
- 30:51Speaker 4: value in getting good at this as long as you
- 30:53Speaker 4: know how to actually punch.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't dismiss nothing, because anything can work in
- 30:57Speaker 3: the right context.
- 30:59Speaker 4: It's just not gonna work on Terrence Crawford.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Not a boxing match against Terrence Crawford. It's not when.
- 31:09Speaker 4: Anyway.
- 31:10Speaker 2: No one has figured that out. No one has figured
- 31:12Speaker 2: that out not much.
- 31:13Speaker 6: Listen, you can have fun with it, but as far
- 31:15Speaker 6: as value, I'd say very little.
- 31:18Speaker 4: Value, very little, because it's only value if you're going
- 31:22Speaker 4: to do any other stuff.
- 31:23Speaker 6: Yeah, if you're gonna do that, you might as well
- 31:24Speaker 6: be doing Muay Thai, western boxing or jiu jitsu.
- 31:28Speaker 4: No. No, for sure, by itself useless. But what I
- 31:31Speaker 4: think is if you are you are doing other stuff,
- 31:33Speaker 4: and you could train with a guy who can show
- 31:35Speaker 4: you some of it, I think you would be like, oh,
- 31:37Speaker 4: I see value in this. Like do you remember when
- 31:41Speaker 4: Dan Henderson was fighting Hector Lombard.
- 31:43Speaker 8: And he hit him with like a back yellow right, Yeah,
- 31:46Speaker 8: it was like back fore arm, it was an elbow
- 31:49Speaker 8: or four it was an elbow. Yeah, I think he
- 31:50Speaker 8: threw a punching kne Sometimes you see people do standing
- 31:55Speaker 8: backfist sometimes and they work.
- 31:57Speaker 4: There's some ship that we're missing, and like think wing
- 32:00Speaker 4: chung is a part of it.
- 32:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I agree with that, Like especially like when you're
- 32:03Speaker 3: in close, like in clinching positions, you're just like trapping hands.
- 32:08Speaker 4: You know. What I think is the number one thing
- 32:10Speaker 4: that people need should be doing. The number one thing
- 32:14Speaker 4: that people should be doing is point fighting Karate's you know,
- 32:18Speaker 4: if you want to add something, I mean, not obviously
- 32:21Speaker 4: not number one over wrestling and all that, but number
- 32:22Speaker 4: one thing to add, don't add wing chung at the
- 32:25Speaker 4: point karate.
- 32:26Speaker 3: But it's so But that's such a physical thing that
- 32:28Speaker 3: a lot of people probably can't do, especially if.
- 32:31Speaker 2: You come from a wrestling background where you're so used
- 32:33Speaker 2: to being.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Like heavy square to be able to turn sideways and
- 32:38Speaker 3: jumping out like but if.
- 32:39Speaker 4: You can do it, that advantage is so huge. When
- 32:42Speaker 4: you watch like m VP when he's in his product.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Bullet.
- 32:48Speaker 4: Yeah, but the thing about the elbow, crazy, What a
- 32:53Speaker 4: beautiful elbow from a wrestling position. We see that again.
- 32:58Speaker 4: How do you land it? So? Yeah? Yeah, his leg
- 33:00Speaker 4: Look at that, he's holding his legs and he catches.
- 33:03Speaker 4: Look at the fucking elbow. Fantastic, What a fucking that's
- 33:09Speaker 4: one of the greatest elbows of all time, underappreciated elbow.
- 33:13Speaker 4: To get a knockout elbow while you're hopping on one leg, yeah,
- 33:17Speaker 4: that's crazy. Fighting off the takedown, Yeah, that was nasty, nasty.
- 33:23Speaker 4: But when I was getting to is these guys like
- 33:26Speaker 4: m VP, that advantage is so huge. The advantage of
- 33:30Speaker 4: being WonderBoy in his prime. Bro, that advantage is so nuts.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Well, so I watch videos of people doing and online,
- 33:37Speaker 2: I'm like, if you could do that in mba thing,
- 33:40Speaker 2: no one will catch you.
- 33:41Speaker 4: Right, You'll be in and out where they to it.
- 33:44Speaker 4: Zero Gone, that's true. Is not a point fighting karate
- 33:48Speaker 4: guys and may tire Bud. He's a basketball player. And
- 33:50Speaker 4: we were talking about this the other day, like, what
- 33:52Speaker 4: better sport to develop pliometrics and the ability to change
- 33:55Speaker 4: direction than basketball. You're constantly changing direction and they're big, man.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Then why can't basketball players fight? They don't train. That's true,
- 34:04Speaker 3: it's just because they don't train. But Cyril Gone, you
- 34:07Speaker 3: look at the way he moves like he moves like
- 34:09Speaker 3: a basketball player can move. But he's two hundred and
- 34:11Speaker 3: fifty pounds and he's.
- 34:12Speaker 4: A heavyweight and he can fucking strike. Yeah.
- 34:14Speaker 3: I remember I used to train Walt Harris, who was
- 34:17Speaker 3: a pretty good basketball player, and I used.
- 34:18Speaker 2: To always try to tell him, man, it's the same thing.
- 34:21Speaker 3: Your pivots are the same. You gotta be able to
- 34:23Speaker 3: move change directions. It's the same thing. But as a heavyweight,
- 34:26Speaker 3: it also comes with being lazy. Yes, those guys are
- 34:29Speaker 3: just lazy.
- 34:29Speaker 4: Well, it's harder to say it's harder to move all
- 34:36Speaker 4: that weight, right, It's like it's hard to get a
- 34:39Speaker 4: two hundred and forty eight pound guy to move like
- 34:40Speaker 4: Cereal Gone. There's not a whole lot of them. We
- 34:43Speaker 4: were just talking about it the other day. I think
- 34:44Speaker 4: it's an underappreciated thing because we're used to lighterweight fighters
- 34:47Speaker 4: moving like that. But I'm like, name one, name one
- 34:50Speaker 4: guy at heavyweight he moves like that. I know who
- 34:52Speaker 4: used to, you know, used to was the dark horse
- 34:54Speaker 4: of the heavyweight division, Travis fucking Brown. When Travis Brown
- 34:59Speaker 4: was in his he was a bad motherfucker dude, and
- 35:03Speaker 4: he moved light. He was a big, tall dude and
- 35:06Speaker 4: he moved light, and he had some you know, wars
- 35:12Speaker 4: and they take their toll on you. But if you
- 35:14Speaker 4: go back to like Travis Brown in his heyday when
- 35:17Speaker 4: he was knocking people out with those elbows from the French,
- 35:20Speaker 4: and the way he would move like, he would move
- 35:22Speaker 4: like super light on his feet, like bouncing around. And
- 35:25Speaker 4: I think it was because he played basketball. It's gotta
- 35:29Speaker 4: be it. It makes sense because I know Travis played basketball.
- 35:33Speaker 4: You know, he said, when you get a big athlete
- 35:36Speaker 4: that's light on their feet.
- 35:37Speaker 2: That's a giant adventage.
- 35:39Speaker 4: It is because you only needs one entrance that you
- 35:41Speaker 4: didn't anticipate when you get popped, and now you're compromised
- 35:44Speaker 4: getting that.
- 35:45Speaker 2: First step and being able to get at.
- 35:48Speaker 4: Dude, those karate point I've only fought a couple of
- 35:50Speaker 4: karate point fights when I was a kid, when I
- 35:52Speaker 4: was doing Taekwondow tournams. We would enter into him and
- 35:55Speaker 4: I thought this one guy that was like his name
- 35:57Speaker 4: was Mafia Holloway. He was like a champion. I couldn't
- 36:00Speaker 4: even touch him. I couldn't even get close to him.
- 36:02Speaker 4: The first name was Mafia Holloway. It was a very
- 36:05Speaker 4: famous I don't know if it was a real name,
- 36:06Speaker 4: but that's what his name was back in He was
- 36:08Speaker 4: like a well known black belt point fighting champion. I
- 36:12Speaker 4: could even touch him. I was like, Jesus, we're playing
- 36:14Speaker 4: totally different games. I'm playing a continuous fighting game, which
- 36:17Speaker 4: where you're you're you know, you fight in tag window
- 36:20Speaker 4: for a certain amount of minutes, and he's playing this
- 36:21Speaker 4: thing where you stop every time they hit you, and
- 36:23Speaker 4: so you can't hit him, and he keeps hitting you.
- 36:26Speaker 4: And it's just stop, stop, stop stopping. It's so frustrating.
- 36:30Speaker 4: But I remember leaving going, oh, I need to learn that,
- 36:33Speaker 4: Like that's crazy. I didn't know you could move that
- 36:35Speaker 4: quick and just jump out of there the way he's doing.
- 36:39Speaker 4: And I'm like, and you think about like these guys
- 36:40Speaker 4: that fight him, like Kevin Holland that fight MVP. After
- 36:43Speaker 4: a while, they're like, what the fuck is this?
- 36:45Speaker 5: He was in his corner saying that, like.
- 36:49Speaker 2: He's quicker than I thought.
- 36:50Speaker 4: What am I doing here? This is nuts? You just
- 36:53Speaker 4: can't do anything to him. He's styling on you.
- 36:56Speaker 3: Yeah, Stephen Thompson, wonder boy, we did so. I was
- 37:01Speaker 3: I knew the mistake that everybody was making. They were
- 37:04Speaker 3: using just regular tall kickboxers. I went to karate schools
- 37:08Speaker 3: and we got just karate kids that did that for
- 37:11Speaker 3: him to spar with.
- 37:13Speaker 2: And I was like, don't worry about takedowns. We don't
- 37:17Speaker 2: even need to get there.
- 37:18Speaker 3: Just be able to deal with this movement and his
- 37:21Speaker 3: length and being able to deal with that because it's different.
- 37:24Speaker 4: What is this? Oh shit, yeah, it's got a crazy
- 37:28Speaker 4: kick here. Dude was very good there is he was
- 37:31Speaker 4: very good. He didn't get me with that. He got
- 37:35Speaker 4: me with a couple of sidekicks to the body. Though
- 37:37Speaker 4: I tell you that I was very impressed. I was
- 37:40Speaker 4: impressed by the speed in which he was able to
- 37:42Speaker 4: like move forward and back, because that darting in and
- 37:46Speaker 4: just tagging each other speed is a totally different speed
- 37:49Speaker 4: than like continuous fighting speed. Because continuous fighting speed, you
- 37:52Speaker 4: would assume that if the guy's hitting you, that you're
- 37:55Speaker 4: going to counter and you're gonna exchange. And what these
- 37:58Speaker 4: guys are used to is you never exchange. They just
- 38:00Speaker 4: pop you. They pop you, and they get the fuck
- 38:02Speaker 4: out of there. And that's that's.
- 38:03Speaker 3: At you just knock somebody out.
- 38:07Speaker 4: It's a giant asset. Also, it's like if you try
- 38:10Speaker 4: to play their game, you should just try to play
- 38:12Speaker 4: their game just to realize how hard it is. And
- 38:13Speaker 4: you're like, oh, this is a crazy this is a
- 38:15Speaker 4: different thing. This is all about the blitz, it's all
- 38:17Speaker 4: about the entry. They switched stances at will too, at
- 38:20Speaker 4: will at will. You know, but I think all the
- 38:23Speaker 4: good guys do. Now. I think that's going to be
- 38:25Speaker 4: a pre There's too many calf kickers out there be
- 38:29Speaker 4: to do. You guys, watch one, you watch a kickboxing
- 38:33Speaker 4: and one. Did you see Jonathan Haggerty and Yuki Yosa.
- 38:38Speaker 5: It wasn't good for Haggart.
- 38:39Speaker 4: He was no, he won, He figured him out.
- 38:41Speaker 5: Haggarty was he's the guy to beat that dude that
- 38:45Speaker 5: was wrecking everybody.
- 38:49Speaker 4: Well he's just a full on hoy Thi guy. But
- 38:51Speaker 4: he beat him by continuous movement and switching stances. Yeah,
- 38:59Speaker 4: really technical fight, Like if you really like striking, it's
- 39:03Speaker 4: a really technical fight. He did an amazing job of
- 39:06Speaker 4: just constantly giving them different looks and switching stances and
- 39:09Speaker 4: moving and then catching them in exchanges. And dude, it
- 39:13Speaker 4: was fucking beautiful because it was a crushes everybody's legs.
- 39:16Speaker 4: It was really sweet.
- 39:17Speaker 5: He just kept switching, just kept.
- 39:19Speaker 4: Switching stances, and he did a lot of great boxing
- 39:22Speaker 4: from the outside too. It was just but he never
- 39:25Speaker 4: gave him the same look. See that switch and on
- 39:29Speaker 4: knees to the body, a lot of needs to the body.
- 39:31Speaker 4: It was beautiful, brilliant fight. I was just chatting with
- 39:36Speaker 4: him on Instagram. I'm gonna try to get him on
- 39:38Speaker 4: nice bring him to America, Like it's this is what
- 39:41Speaker 4: ZUFA should be promoting, you know, I mean I know
- 39:43Speaker 4: they love boxing. That's awesome. I'm glad they're doing that,
- 39:46Speaker 4: But you know, this is it. If you want another
- 39:49Speaker 4: thing that's really exciting, it's striking, just have only muay thaid.
- 39:53Speaker 2: I'm just surprised they haven't done that.
- 39:55Speaker 5: It doesn't make any sense because that's what everybody likes
- 39:57Speaker 5: to watch.
- 39:58Speaker 4: Everybody. Like Dana said to me, I don't know if
- 40:01Speaker 4: he changed his opinion, but he said to me that
- 40:03Speaker 4: people don't like kickboxing because they think of like pKa
- 40:06Speaker 4: Karate from ESPN, from like the nineteen eighties. I'm like,
- 40:10Speaker 4: that's old people. They don't even know what that is. Yeah,
- 40:16Speaker 4: young people love martial arts like young people love knockouts.
- 40:20Speaker 4: Young people boo when fights go to the ground. MMA
- 40:24Speaker 4: is the best, no doubt about it. It's the greatest
- 40:26Speaker 4: sport of all times, the champion of sports. However, if
- 40:29Speaker 4: you're gonna have some value in another combat sport, it's
- 40:32Speaker 4: MOI time. It's the most exciting shit. You could do,
- 40:35Speaker 4: the most options you can need. They can throw each other,
- 40:38Speaker 4: they do all kinds of wild kicking.
- 40:41Speaker 5: You think Rico Verhooven's boxing success will bring some eyes
- 40:45Speaker 5: to kickboxing at all.
- 40:46Speaker 4: I'm having him on two and.
- 40:47Speaker 5: I hope so, I hope that he's really phenomenal. I mean, dude,
- 40:52Speaker 5: for ten rounds, he really he was into the.
- 40:55Speaker 4: Point where if you're good judges, if the judges are real,
- 40:59Speaker 4: he Usik needs a knockout twin, which is.
- 41:02Speaker 5: He was a grazed I thought he was up by eight,
- 41:04Speaker 5: like eight the one or two at the time.
- 41:06Speaker 4: I thought the same. A lot of people thought the same.
- 41:08Speaker 4: I mean he was. He was bullying him.
- 41:10Speaker 5: Around and used his weight well, he shipped himself and
- 41:15Speaker 5: it was phenomenal because he put my my style against
- 41:18Speaker 5: Usk and it was Jim Carrey and it fucking what's.
- 41:22Speaker 4: The one where you know the guys looked like it too.
- 41:27Speaker 5: It was fucking phenomenal. But but man, he really did amazing.
- 41:30Speaker 5: I personally think if they rematch that now Usik will
- 41:35Speaker 5: like kind of figured him out, so maybe it'll happen.
- 41:37Speaker 5: He'll get him faster. I hope not, because I was
- 41:40Speaker 5: rooting for Rico. He rematched amazing.
- 41:42Speaker 4: Rico was going to know that he can do that,
- 41:45Speaker 4: Like before that fight, he didn't know he could do that,
- 41:47Speaker 4: and Usik didn't know he could do that. And the
- 41:48Speaker 4: difference is Usik is not a real heavyweight. He's the
- 41:51Speaker 4: greatest heavyweight of all time, which is crazy, but he's
- 41:54Speaker 4: not a real heavyweight. He's you can't see the like Tyson,
- 41:57Speaker 4: in my opinion, is always going to be my favorite.
- 41:59Speaker 4: In his prime, he was just so insane. It was
- 42:01Speaker 4: so insane to watch him just demolish the whole division.
- 42:04Speaker 4: But then you look at Cash's clay and then when
- 42:06Speaker 4: he was Muhammad Ali and Larry Holmes doesn't get his due,
- 42:09Speaker 4: and Lennox Lewis was a fucking beast, so maybe you know,
- 42:13Speaker 4: who knows who would have fought. But that guy stylistically
- 42:16Speaker 4: is like the greatest heavyweight ever. Like watching him move,
- 42:19Speaker 4: the way he skill for skill, when you skill, you're
- 42:22Speaker 4: watching an artist. Yeah, it's like the way the way
- 42:25Speaker 4: he put it on block. Yeah, oh my god, he's incredble.
- 42:29Speaker 4: But he's still really a two hundred and twenty pound guy. Yeah,
- 42:33Speaker 4: you know, like he puts on some extra weight, he
- 42:35Speaker 4: gets a little he was a little thicker for that fight.
- 42:38Speaker 4: But you know, Ricos huge, Rico's giants. He's a giant
- 42:44Speaker 4: guy from the Netherlands.
- 42:45Speaker 5: Right, that's is that where he's a real Dutch another
- 42:49Speaker 5: Dutch kickbox. They're all giants. They're all ship six, like
- 42:53Speaker 5: six five seven. He's huge, he's sixty.
- 42:56Speaker 4: He's got crazy cardio two for a big.
- 42:58Speaker 5: Giant bouncing I mean he was for ten rounds. He
- 43:01Speaker 5: kept that pace as a heavyweight, keeping that pace, and
- 43:04Speaker 5: then once he slowed, you know, that's when Husick was
- 43:07Speaker 5: able to find him.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Did you watch him, man?
- 43:09Speaker 4: I can't watch. I have a hard time watching anything
- 43:12Speaker 4: but fucking mixed martial arts. Yeah.
- 43:18Speaker 9: Well, you know Star Wars, I sort of knew. He
- 43:22Speaker 9: Man movie, by the way, was it was fucking good. Really,
- 43:25Speaker 9: The Masters of the Universe was good. I was worried
- 43:29Speaker 9: because I'm thinking Elder new reboots.
- 43:32Speaker 2: And this and that.
- 43:32Speaker 6: I go, is it gonna be too woke? Is it
- 43:34Speaker 6: gonna be this? It was fucking fun. It had a
- 43:38Speaker 6: thor Ragnanok type feel where it's just kind of fun
- 43:42Speaker 6: and a little goofy, but not to the point where
- 43:45Speaker 6: it's just takes.
- 43:46Speaker 4: You out of it.
- 43:46Speaker 2: I know what it is. I grew up with that.
- 43:48Speaker 4: He Man, Yeah, that was my that was my kid
- 43:51Speaker 4: around our age, right, so it did justice to that,
- 43:55Speaker 4: Like you know, it made it fun. It was awesome. Yeah, Jared, Yeah,
- 44:02Speaker 4: I heard there was like some sort of crazy like
- 44:05Speaker 4: he wasn't allowed to do interviews. He was allowed to
- 44:07Speaker 4: talk to the rest of her cast. Why because they
- 44:09Speaker 4: were worried he's gonna do nutty ship like he went
- 44:11Speaker 4: in The Joker. He was like sending people dead rats
- 44:13Speaker 4: in the mail and oh really yeah, d like because
- 44:16Speaker 4: he was he was in character, you know, so they're like, yeah,
- 44:20Speaker 4: you're gonna be an evil fucking skeletor guy. No, we
- 44:23Speaker 4: can't let you be in character. I can't contact the
- 44:26Speaker 4: rest of the crew. I don't know if that's true.
- 44:28Speaker 4: That's what I heard, but it was fun. See if
- 44:29Speaker 4: that's true. Now I heard that too. I heard Will
- 44:33Speaker 4: Smith said something about that.
- 44:34Speaker 5: I thought somebody said that. I did somebody, you know,
- 44:37Speaker 5: he definitely did with the Joker rat or something.
- 44:39Speaker 4: He was the Joker. Yeah, yeah, said I know you're
- 44:41Speaker 4: playing the Joker, but come on with the rest.
- 44:43Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you would chill out.
- 44:45Speaker 4: There's some dudes that played the Joker and you're like,
- 44:47Speaker 4: all right, it's over. Hey. I heard when he led
- 44:49Speaker 4: your played the Joker, like everybody stopped. Yeah Joker, yea,
- 44:52Speaker 4: he can't come back after that until Joaquin Joaquin Phoenix. Yeah,
- 44:57Speaker 4: he came out that. I was like, Okay, now that's
- 44:59Speaker 4: the Joker.
- 44:59Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, Then then you saw the sequel and you said,
- 45:02Speaker 6: fuck that, bring back.
- 45:04Speaker 4: I didn't see the sequel. Tim Dillan told me it
- 45:06Speaker 4: is the worst movie that's ever been.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Everybody said that. I didn't see it neither.
- 45:11Speaker 4: I didn't make it.
- 45:12Speaker 5: I didn't watch it.
- 45:13Speaker 4: If I was guessing, he probably didn't want to do it,
- 45:17Speaker 4: I don't know what they were thinking. I bet it
- 45:19Speaker 4: was like a dispute between like the movie company and
- 45:22Speaker 4: the dude direct. Why would you do that, d unless
- 45:27Speaker 4: you're trying to mock it or you're trying to diffuse it.
- 45:30Speaker 4: Maybe the government was like, hey, after you released that movie,
- 45:32Speaker 4: we had the BLM riots and everybody's lighting la on fire. Hey,
- 45:36Speaker 4: maybe don't have a movie where you're encouraging people to
- 45:39Speaker 4: like light cities on fire. Maybe make it a musical
- 45:45Speaker 4: to diffuse the Joker movement with a musical.
- 45:48Speaker 6: It's funny how the first if I never seen a
- 45:51Speaker 6: I mean, sequels aren't normally as good as the original,
- 45:54Speaker 6: but holy f I've never seen something so bad.
- 45:58Speaker 4: I didn't make it through it.
- 45:59Speaker 6: I saw something and then I'm like, once I started singing,
- 46:01Speaker 6: I'm out at this moment.
- 46:03Speaker 4: It's very rare. Where a sequel, you're like, damn, that's
- 46:06Speaker 4: just as good. Well terminated to Eire strikes back. Those
- 46:10Speaker 4: are a couple. Those are a couple of Rocky. You
- 46:13Speaker 4: didn't like Rocky too, obviously? Why do you take it
- 46:18Speaker 4: to the zoo? In the beginning?
- 46:20Speaker 6: Why I never can get over that zoo? The drift,
- 46:27Speaker 6: the whole the whole joke was that beat, that mean
- 46:30Speaker 6: bodyguard saying take it to the zoo. The retards like this,
- 46:34Speaker 6: and then he takes it to the fucking zoo to
- 46:35Speaker 6: propose the one is that?
- 46:37Speaker 4: How crazy? But that's how people were in the seventies
- 46:40Speaker 4: there were animals.
- 46:42Speaker 2: But he's basically.
- 46:45Speaker 4: Before the internet.
- 46:47Speaker 2: Movie reviews on your general you trying.
- 46:51Speaker 4: To plug my chin.
- 46:55Speaker 2: About that movie because you know what I'm watching on there?
- 47:01Speaker 4: I do.
- 47:01Speaker 6: I do series reactions or movies reactions.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Are you watching the New House of Dragon?
- 47:07Speaker 4: No? Watch, let me tell you something I'm in the
- 47:11Speaker 4: middle of from That's all I want to talk to
- 47:13Speaker 4: you about that too. My wife.
- 47:14Speaker 5: My wife's made it from you know, don't tell me
- 47:17Speaker 5: why season four, Episode five.
- 47:23Speaker 4: I think I think s there's only four four and
- 47:26Speaker 4: then the fifth one is the final season. It doesn't
- 47:28Speaker 4: come out until twenty twenty seven, so we'll tell me shuit.
- 47:31Speaker 2: Hey, how to Dragon?
- 47:32Speaker 4: Now?
- 47:33Speaker 2: Look, I love Game of Thrones.
- 47:35Speaker 4: The Night of the Seven Kingdoms was phenomenal, and How's
- 47:38Speaker 4: the Dragon?
- 47:38Speaker 2: Out of all of them, is the one I like the.
- 47:40Speaker 4: Least because it's a lot of just gloom and doom.
- 47:42Speaker 6: It's all the characters are pricks. They're all a bunch
- 47:45Speaker 6: of fucking wacky talking. Yeah, there's no one to like exactly,

- 48:26Speaker 4: do it.
- 48:27Speaker 5: That's two hundred milligrams of edibles fifty.
- 48:32Speaker 4: You know what, you know what sing I really love
- 48:34Speaker 4: when they were trying to find Targarians because the Targantans
- 48:36Speaker 4: have also a children, trying to see who's targetan, so
- 48:39Speaker 4: they put people out with the dragons that was burning the.
- 48:42Speaker 6: Monro The Prius seasons had some good scenes like that,

- 50:14Speaker 6: someone's gonna pick it up and it's gonna become either
- 50:17Speaker 6: an Amazon series or a movie. My one of my

- 50:23Speaker 4: What's a great name, Joey Beans Savage Jedi Jedi Joans
- 50:30Speaker 4: is fucking great.

- 50:36Speaker 4: I'm gonna write it down. What is it called?
- 50:38Speaker 2: Red Rising? That's it?
- 50:41Speaker 6: And I'll tell you I don't know how many books
- 50:44Speaker 6: theyre are, but I'm listening to the first one and
- 50:46Speaker 6: I'm like more than halfway through, and it's what's it about?
- 50:49Speaker 4: Uh?
- 50:51Speaker 5: Set in future on Mars listen?
- 50:53Speaker 4: Whoa Red Rising is a twenty fourteen?

- 51:07Speaker 4: Why telling us he's reading my short friends, telling us

- 51:21Speaker 4: A bunch of pricks. This is a great book. It's
- 51:26Speaker 4: just a book.
- 51:28Speaker 2: I like getting into something new.
- 51:30Speaker 4: Well, how long is that's regular coffee? There's a cough
- 51:32Speaker 4: if you want coffee cough? You know what would you want?
- 51:34Speaker 4: A little baby? I'm trying to figure out what you're
- 51:37Speaker 4: gonna do with that. I don't know what I was doing.
- 51:40Speaker 4: I'm down for that. I'm down for that.
- 51:42Speaker 2: Yeah, the Red Rising Man, that was really good coffee.
- 51:46Speaker 2: It's like a Game of Thrones in space.
- 51:49Speaker 4: Oh, I'm nice. I'm in Oh.
- 51:51Speaker 5: You know when I started watching because of you guys,

- 52:04Speaker 5: that show was so underrated, so underrated, like to this day.
- 52:08Speaker 5: If you go back and watch Battlestar Galacicala, the entire series,
- 52:11Speaker 5: it's fucking incredible.
- 52:12Speaker 4: Very good, the new one, not the old one. Original
- 52:17Speaker 4: or man, here's what I'm gonna recommend. You can watch
- 52:21Speaker 4: it with your wife, well by yourself, whatever you want
- 52:23Speaker 4: to do. Widows Bay.

- 52:47Speaker 6: fucking uh month is Vineyard whatever that is and he
- 52:50Speaker 6: and you know this is it?
- 52:51Speaker 4: Oh that guy, that guy was in The Beast Within.
- 52:54Speaker 2: This is great.
- 52:55Speaker 4: Bro. That guy's in another great fucking series that also
- 52:58Speaker 4: might be Apple. It might be.
- 53:01Speaker 6: It's very rare that something I don't like, Like, my
- 53:04Speaker 6: family's a bunch of ghouls except for my oldest, but
- 53:06Speaker 6: they like all the horror shit. I'm not into it,
- 53:08Speaker 6: but it's very rare. I like spooky shit, so it's.
- 53:11Speaker 4: Like spooky, but it's fucking funny.
- 53:15Speaker 6: It's got like a quirky type humor to it, and
- 53:18Speaker 6: I was fucking dying.
- 53:19Speaker 4: I was the beast in me is another one. It
- 53:22Speaker 4: was uh what was it on Netflix? It's on Netflix.
- 53:26Speaker 4: It's still on Netflix. It's a series and it's about
- 53:29Speaker 4: an author and this fucking psychotic guy that is a
- 53:32Speaker 4: rich guy who lives in her neighborhood. I don't want
- 53:34Speaker 4: to tell you any more than that movie. Yeah, I
- 53:37Speaker 4: saw that Claire Danes and that guy Matthew. You watch
- 53:40Speaker 4: that show. I didn't watch it. I didn't watch it

- 54:34Speaker 4: on Rotten Tomatoes. That's how good it is. It's a
- 54:36Speaker 4: great show.
- 54:38Speaker 2: The beast me.
- 54:39Speaker 3: Yeah, just too much shit to watch so much it.
- 54:40Speaker 3: I just started the pit so I'm like, and I'm
- 54:42Speaker 3: and I'm late on that. So what's the pit about?
- 54:45Speaker 3: The the er room in Pittsburgh.
- 54:49Speaker 2: He plays a doctor in the er room. It's really
- 54:51Speaker 2: good though.
- 54:51Speaker 4: Okay, they saw them into for a while.
- 54:54Speaker 2: Then I just fucking followed. I never heard of it.
- 54:55Speaker 4: Just too many shows.
- 54:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I did that with land Man.
- 54:58Speaker 4: After a while, I'm just like, new season is good.
- 55:01Speaker 4: I don't give a ship about the slutty wife and
- 55:03Speaker 4: the daughter is annoying.
- 55:07Speaker 5: The stripper wife.
- 55:08Speaker 6: Well, after a while, it's just like all right, I
- 55:12Speaker 6: go they get to some interesting ship with like the
- 55:14Speaker 6: cartels after them, and then they're oh, let's take the
- 55:17Speaker 6: all the scene out to the strip joint.
- 55:20Speaker 4: It's like there we go.
- 55:23Speaker 6: All the wife's being outrageous again. It's like, yeah, I
- 55:28Speaker 6: don't not by a d D. I can't take it now.
- 55:31Speaker 6: That was my problem with it too. I thought that
- 55:32Speaker 6: the women were like caricatures of women.
- 55:35Speaker 2: Come on, man, it was.
- 55:36Speaker 5: Who's who's cheering their daughter on?
- 55:41Speaker 4: Yeah, I was kind of like this.
- 55:43Speaker 6: I have a question though, if you guys all seen it,
- 55:46Speaker 6: why does the why do they live together like the
- 55:49Speaker 6: other lawyer and why do they all live with Billy
- 55:52Speaker 6: Bob Thoornton.
- 55:52Speaker 4: And it's a plot point?
- 55:54Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, there's no other reason why.
- 55:57Speaker 4: I guess there's only one house on the ranch or
- 55:59Speaker 4: something thing. I don't know, because I'm just like, they
- 56:01Speaker 4: all have to live in the one house, his home.
- 56:06Speaker 4: It makes it fun. But isn't he making a lot
- 56:08Speaker 4: of money?
- 56:09Speaker 5: We shouldn all of them be making a lot of
- 56:11Speaker 5: think his lawyer be making big bank.
- 56:13Speaker 4: Well, now he's got to be making money because now
- 56:15Speaker 4: he's running the company spoiler alert, So he's making more money.
- 56:19Speaker 4: She's making sure they're eating their vegetables.
- 56:23Speaker 5: It's mad about it any anything, Just love.
- 56:28Speaker 4: Billy Bob and that show is so good. He makes
- 56:30Speaker 4: the show he makes. He is the tailor said that
- 56:34Speaker 4: he wouldn't even made the show if it wasn't for Billy.
- 56:36Speaker 4: He went to Billy with the ideas, I'm not gonna
- 56:38Speaker 4: make this if you're not gonna.
- 56:39Speaker 2: Be he made the show, was in it too. He's great, He's.
- 56:43Speaker 4: Great and everything. Yeah. You ever see Things to Do
- 56:45Speaker 4: in Denver when You're dead? Longo loves that. I love that.
- 56:55Speaker 5: I'mon Michael loves it.
- 57:02Speaker 4: In all Honestly, I haven't seen it in decades, but
- 57:04Speaker 4: when I saw it, I loved it. But the problem
- 57:06Speaker 4: is sometimes you go back and you try to watch
- 57:08Speaker 4: on the movies and sucks a fat one. There's a
- 57:15Speaker 4: bunch of movies like that. You try to watch them,
- 57:16Speaker 4: they're terrible.
- 57:17Speaker 3: Yeah, sometimes it's just better better off remembering how good they.
- 57:21Speaker 4: Used to be. Yeah yeah, yeah, well the impact you
- 57:24Speaker 4: were just a more naive person for the internet.
- 57:28Speaker 6: I watched one of the worst movies that was so
- 57:30Speaker 6: fucking good that it was bad.
- 57:32Speaker 4: It was rowdy right, rowdy, rowdy right, rowdy, rody roddy Piper,
- 57:37Speaker 4: rowdy ro rowdy roddy Piper.
- 57:40Speaker 10: Yes, we saw him last night, Joey Joey Hell comes
- 57:49Speaker 10: the Frogs Down.
- 57:52Speaker 6: Now, it's a it's a it's a combination of say,
- 57:55Speaker 6: like Mad Max, like a post apocalyptic thing and escape
- 57:59Speaker 6: from New York where in the future Rowdy Rowdy is
- 58:04Speaker 6: the only guy who's not fucking sterile. Everybody else is sterile,
- 58:09Speaker 6: so chasing him for it so they have to like
- 58:13Speaker 6: it starts off when he's in like a fucking generals.
- 58:15Speaker 6: He's in like a room because he got caught with
- 58:17Speaker 6: the general's daughter and fucking they put they put a
- 58:22Speaker 6: a jockstrap on him with explosives and he do a frog.
- 58:30Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 58:33Speaker 6: His mission is to go to his frogs town and
- 58:36Speaker 6: there's a herem there and he's got to impregnate everybody
- 58:40Speaker 6: or else they're gonna fucking blow him up.
- 58:41Speaker 5: Sounds like a horrible job.
- 58:43Speaker 2: It is crazy this movie.
- 58:49Speaker 4: Oh my god, you can't he cut out frog Town.
- 58:53Speaker 4: This is amazing.
- 58:54Speaker 5: Cut out halfway through things that do in Denver when
- 58:57Speaker 5: you're dead frog.
- 59:00Speaker 4: Yeah. But you know what you're getting into. It's not
- 59:04Speaker 4: a bunch of people pretending to be cool. You know,
- 59:08Speaker 4: it's like, this is just silly.
- 59:09Speaker 3: How did you even find this and then sit down
- 59:11Speaker 3: and watch the whole thing?
- 59:13Speaker 4: This is the thing, you.
- 59:14Speaker 6: Know, it's well documented about my ass problems, So sometimes
- 59:18Speaker 6: I spend a lot of time on the throne, and
- 59:20Speaker 6: I got my iPad, so I go to Prime Video
- 59:24Speaker 6: and it's almost like when I was little, Like I
- 59:26Speaker 6: used to go through the channels and I'm like up
- 59:27Speaker 6: all night.
- 59:28Speaker 2: I'd find something wacky.
- 59:29Speaker 6: So I look for weird or different movies, and that's
- 59:33Speaker 6: one of them, and I just it just brought me
- 59:36Speaker 6: right in.
- 59:37Speaker 2: I watched that whole and two Ships.
- 59:39Speaker 4: I watched that whole movie crazy amount. I'm on the time.
- 59:50Speaker 4: It's crazy to ship for two hours? You saying a little, well,
- 59:53Speaker 4: not for two hours.
- 59:54Speaker 11: The budget for this movie was double what that movie
- 59:56Speaker 11: Obsession was that just came out.
- 59:58Speaker 5: That's why said that movie was great.
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: So the budget was one point five million back then?
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: Yet eight wow? So was this a small release? Who
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: made this movie? What was the company that made New World?
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: Pick that's a big company. Maybe they sold it to
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: New World. I don't know how that ship was? Was
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: this before after They Live? Well?
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: They Live was good, That's what I'm saying. Maybe they
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: got rolled it.
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: But I bet if you tried to watch. Return to
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: frog Town was released on ninety three phs before even
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: DVD like no fuck this put it on.
- 1:00:37Speaker 11: Now?
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: Listen, everybody don't watching this and cursing me. I mean,
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: you gotta know what you're getting into, exactly what it
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: looks like.
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: The TV guy only gave it two out of five stars.
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: How dare the DVD talk said three. But I'll tell
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: you he's he's he's hysterical in it. He's for some reason.
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: I bet if we watched they live right now, we
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: wouldn't like it. I bet we'd be like, oh, pretty funny?
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: Is it good? It was the last time you saw it.
- 1:01:02Speaker 5: I mean, it's one of the movies when you're flipping
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: around if it's on because him and the who's the
- 1:01:07Speaker 5: what's the this guy's name? Remember they had basically a
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: wrestling match in the fucking alley.
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: They were like network, Yeah, yeah, this movies from like
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: the eighties the nineties. There's movies from the eighties and
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: the nineties that become comedies like this used to be.
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: But this is kind of a comedy. This is like
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: a little tongue in cheek. But then this stuff like
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: Roadhouse right, Roadhouse comedy right, for sure. Roadhouse is such
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: a bad movie. Yeah, yeah, it's so bad. Yeah, it's
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: so insanely the bad guys, bad writing. Everything is bad.
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: Everything's bad except for Patrick Swayze's hair. That's amazing.
- 1:01:46Speaker 6: It was appropriate at the time that the eighties everything
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: we were.
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: We were. People were dumb back then, you know that's
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: what I think. I think we were. We you know,
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: no Internet people were stupid. It's true.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: We were only we were only exposed to what we
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: were exposed to in your area.
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: Yeah, we thought that's solid movie. I'll tell you what.
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: That's good guy. You're gonna root for him. Yeah, he's complicated,
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: but he's tough. He's quiet like poetry people up and
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: he says, pain, don't.
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: Hurt Hey, that page don't.
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: The karate scenes are so bad, Like everything is so bad.
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: It's so fake, it's so dumb looking, but it's still awesome.
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: Sam Elliott in his back up. I had an eighty
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: year old back up, but dude clearly could barely walk
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: Ko and guys left and right. Crack. That's me who
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: He's awesome and everything. Sam Elliott's everything. Every time you
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: see Sam Elliott in the movie, like, yes, I think.
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: The bad guys then he's tell uh Patrick what's his name?
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: That he was gonna funk that he used to fun
- 1:02:51Speaker 6: guys like him in prison.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: Yes, yes, Sam Elliot, that's one who played on land
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: Man's Father, right, Yes, yeah, Yes, he's awesome.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: He's always good.
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: He's always in everything. He's real life Marlboro Man exactly. Yeah,
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: he's right and everything. Yeah, that movie was so bad.
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: But the thing is, back then it wasn't.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: Everything in the eighties was bad.
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: TV shows were insane. You watching me, Like, what were
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: they doing? Yeah, trying to brainwash America.
- 1:03:17Speaker 11: Roger Eberts's review is that this is right on the
- 1:03:19Speaker 11: edge of a good bad movie and.
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: Merely the bad. It's not a good movie. Well, he's right,
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: it's not a good movie. But viewing the right frame
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: of mind, it's not a boring one either. That's the thing.
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: Gene Siskel was less complimentary. He's calling it outrageous in
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: terms of its cartoon like plotting and dialogue, and lamenting
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: Swayze's mindless posturing. A young star has sold himself to
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: become a pin up boy. Someone sounds a little jelly.
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: Someone sounds a little jelly. That sounds a little jelly.
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: Act.
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: It's called the Yeah, I made a movie and thought
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: it was gonna be better than it was right, Okay,
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: let's move on. Yeah, yeah, yeah right. It looks to
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: this day people are still talking about it. Bro Basically
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: every actor that's ever lived has been in a couple
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: of lemons.
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: Of course, that's part of the process.
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: Said maybe Daniel de Lewis, he's probably a little bit more.
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: Maybe that was Like a lot of people didn't watch
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: that Lincoln one. That might be the only one I
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: didn't like. I don't know anybody who was like raves
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: about the Lincoln movie.
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: What about the Vampire hunt, the Abraham Lincoln that was crazy.
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: That I never saw that.
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: That was Daniel.
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: Abraham Lincoln vampire crazy the eighties.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: It should have been it should have been should have
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: been made in the eighties.
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like a comic book. Anything sounds like a
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: Marvel comedy.
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: Yeah, I didn't.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: I didn't see something I would watch.
- 1:04:46Speaker 4: It was pretty, it's funny, was it good? It was zampire?
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: It was to me, it was like a comedy thing.
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: I might have seen it and forgotten about it. I
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: don't even remember if I it.
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: I mean, you get high enough when you watch the movies.
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: They're cool, but you don't really remember details all the time.
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: So yeah, you know what, I'm looking forward to that
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: new werewolf movie. Beggars guy, the same guy that did Nosperado,
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: he's doing a where they just released a trailer, did
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: they what's it called were wolf? Were Yeah, werewolf? I
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: saw that. It spelled weird, but it's basically a werewolf ship.
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: Where does it take place?
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: I don't know, some foreign country. You can hear them
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: speaking some strange language.
- 1:05:25Speaker 10: You know.
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: It's like, give me some viome, man, I want to see.
- 1:05:31Speaker 4: That looks pretty wild. Robert Eggars is a ship Christmas?
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: How was the Van Christmas? How was the Vampire one?
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: Yeah? It was awesome? You think I like it?
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just I don't know.
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: It's good, dude, it is. I think it's the best
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: vampire movie of all time. That The Interview with a Vampire. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: I think is the best vampire movie of all time.
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: That's my opinion. I think it's the best. It's like,
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: I've seen a bunch of them. Gary Oldman one was amazing.
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: That was a great That draft that's still great. But man,
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: there's something about Egger's Nosferado. It's like it's more terrifying
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: than all of them. Like it's just something it's more hypnotic,
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: like he's got powers over people. Like it's weird the
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: way he influences people, it's like it's creepy.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: Yeah, like the way that looks shot, Like I can
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: see what you're saying.
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: Like, show me a scene where there when he's making
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: him sign the contract. There's a scene where the dude
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: has to go to his house and he doesn't know
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: spoiler alert, like what contract he's signing because he's signing
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: it in the language that he has known to sell
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: a house to this prince that lives in Romania. And
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: he goes to business guy. It's the creepiest fucking scene ever.
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: And this is the first scene where you like see
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: him and you slowly gets revealed like what he is?
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: The best vampire movie of all time? Is the best?
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: You'll love it? So well done, so lazy thought. Okay,
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: this is me language is your fire for or father?
- 1:07:18Speaker 4: Mm hmmm of course? Oh do talking Lias, you're a
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: bride just so hit yes, right, he wants to look
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: at the bride. Well, he wants this guy's wife. This
- 1:07:41Speaker 4: is this whole contract, This is what this whole thing
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: is about him going to this guy's town. And buying
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: a house there from him, Like this really just wants
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: this guy's wife. He's like eternally connected to her. Oh
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: it's creepy as fuck. Dude. Oh sho, I gotta watch this.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: Yeah, it's good.
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: I gotta watch this. Watch this. Ever, some people disagree,
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: and that's fine my opinion. You ever see Lost Boys?
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: That was good, that was fun. I bet if you
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: watch it today you'd be like, what, Yeah, you's been
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: John Rawla with long hair. You believe that? The Way
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: Broadway show for it? Now, Lost Boys the Broadway show, dude.
- 1:08:33Speaker 6: First of all, boo Broadway. I saw a spider Man.
- 1:08:37Speaker 6: Spider Man. I saw a Rocky two Things I love.
- 1:08:42Speaker 6: It's like going to see a spider Man movie with
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: the worst special effects ever.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: All of a sudden's a.
- 1:08:46Speaker 6: Guy swinging and everybody's like, oh, I go, dude, really
- 1:08:52Speaker 6: show me the one with Macy.
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: Barber in it, not Mac Fighter.
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: What's the that girl that used to see Macy Gray?
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: Macy Gray? Yes, I was.
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: There's a Rocky play. It was fucking horrendous. Do they box?
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: They pull a ring out and yeah.
- 1:09:16Speaker 6: It's fucking awful. It's like, but just what you're picturing
- 1:09:23Speaker 6: the Doorway. I've never seen anything I liked on that mother,
- 1:09:28Speaker 6: this is it?
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: Oh theater people, You're so silly.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: Dude, I can't stand and the guy sucks he can't box.
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: The beloved Oscar winning story. I just did this. I
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: don't know I own it. It's like it's a cover story.
- 1:09:51Speaker 4: I'm not in the place.
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: I saw Dog Day Afternoon with John birth Though on Broadway.
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: Oh really, how was that? It wasn't bad though, Like
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: he that he was he was really good and he's
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: really he's really good. And you really liked that ship?
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: Did you? Did you ever get into The Punisher? Did
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: you see the uh yeah, One Last Kill? Yeah? I
- 1:10:11Speaker 4: watched that was good.
- 1:10:12Speaker 5: It's a one off. Yeah, it's like an hour long.
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: People think it's a movie. It's not a it's not
- 1:10:17Speaker 4: it's a movie. It's like, that was good.
- 1:10:19Speaker 5: Yeah, I liked it.
- 1:10:20Speaker 4: That was really good. Season Him and the Dad Devil
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: was good. Yeah, he was good.
- 1:10:25Speaker 6: He was Season was okay. Second season wasn't good, but
- 1:10:29Speaker 6: that special was good. If you have to watch one thing,
- 1:10:31Speaker 6: it's like forty five minutes doing an hour.
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: I did a watch along on the Matt Sarah channel.
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: I did, But that guy is awesome and everything. John Bernthow, Yeah,
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: Walking Dead he was amazing. Yeah, it was played such
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: a good creepy friend. Yeah, liked it. Getting back to
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: life Yeah yeah good, that was crazy.
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: I met him a few times in real life. He's
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: you know, he can scrap a little bit.
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: Yeah, he's very nice guy. Yeah, he was on the podcast.
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: Enjoy talking to him first. Smart interesting dude went to
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: school in Russia.
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, that's I mean, that's a weird place
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: to I know, I learned acting. Yeah, and just so
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: you know, on the wall we're on the topic.
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: The punish is gonna be in spider Man Brand New
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: Day that's coming out, is that movie? Yeah, the New
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: spider Man movie. Those they just keep swapping out spider Man.
- 1:11:19Speaker 6: Yeah, but this this Tom Holland spider Man. He's yet
- 1:11:22Speaker 6: to do a bad Spider Man thing.
- 1:11:24Speaker 5: He's good.
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: There's no job security in being Spider Man, no waiting
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: in the wings or there is job security. They just
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: were Toby Maguire back after twenty years. Yeah, it is
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: not a bad gig. The multiverse thing, but the thing
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: is about Spider Man is supposed to be like a
- 1:11:39Speaker 4: college kid. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:11:41Speaker 5: Fortunately, this guy looks like a little kid Tom Holland.
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, it is the origin story. As he starts
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: out as a coach, he's yeah yeah, and then his
- 1:11:53Speaker 4: uncle Ben gets killed and he doesn't say yeah, he
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: doesn't stop the guy. You know what else was fun
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: was The Spider Man in the Wall. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:03Speaker 4: watch that too.
- 1:12:06Speaker 5: Yeah, I thought it was pretty good.
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: That's dope. I thought it was good.
- 1:12:09Speaker 5: And you can watch it in color or black and white.
- 1:12:11Speaker 5: They give you the option.
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: Yeah, Nicholas Cage is a fascinating dude, but but he
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: guys been around forever. He's the good Nicholas Cage in.
- 1:12:18Speaker 5: This Yeah some stuff you watch you well, I think
- 1:12:21Speaker 5: after after that uh Pascal movie he did what's his
- 1:12:25Speaker 5: name was in the title, It's like, I don't know,
- 1:12:27Speaker 5: being Nicholas Cage, that movie brought him back. It was
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: like called fiction for Travolta, like kicked him back off again.
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: What is that movie?
- 1:12:35Speaker 5: It was great where the pat Pedro. Pascal is like
- 1:12:38Speaker 5: a drug tailer guy who's a big fan of Nicholas
- 1:12:42Speaker 5: Cage and he winds up like hiring him to come
- 1:12:45Speaker 5: to his house to do something, and then he gets
- 1:12:47Speaker 5: Cage is hemmed up in the cartel business.
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: Unbearable weight of massive talent. That's what it's called. Is
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: that it is that the name of Yeah, yeah, there
- 1:12:54Speaker 4: it is, see being Nick fucking Cage. So that's a
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: great B plus. That's it. It was good. Check that out.
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: I watched part of it. I never got through the
- 1:13:06Speaker 4: whole thing. That's just busy, but it looks hilarious. It's
- 1:13:09Speaker 4: premise ist hilarious. You know, you're like an actor and
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: you get these gigs, like because people do things like that.
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: They'll like show up at people's houses and parties, like
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: someone wants to pay you a million dollars to go
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: to Dubai and you're like, okay. So when they fly
- 1:13:22Speaker 4: to Dubai and they have dinner with people and hang
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: out with them and meet them, and people just cut
- 1:13:25Speaker 4: them a check.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: Damn Yeah, where can I get that?
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: I know it's weird. It's uh, there's there's you know,
- 1:13:32Speaker 4: so like Nicholas Cage, like that probably would happen where
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: the cartel guy was like that guy, he's my favorite.
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: I remember when Sean Penn met El Choppo hang hanging
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: with Al Choppo and did an article for Rolling Stone
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: magazine where he talked about meeting L Choppo in Mexico.
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: No Ship, Yeah, yeah, you don't remember. Do you remember
- 1:13:52Speaker 4: when Connor was wearing the El Choppo shirt try to
- 1:13:56Speaker 4: pictures just like Choo. Those were the pictures that he
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: did with Sean Penn Oh Ship, Yes, that's the shirt.
- 1:14:02Speaker 4: That's what Connor. What Connor is doing that he's mocking us.
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: Speaking of Connor, how well does he do next week?
- 1:14:11Speaker 4: What we're going to find out. We're really going to
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: find out what's going on if he gets into the
- 1:14:16Speaker 4: second and third rounds, that's what we're really going to
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: find we'll know immediate at that point. But I mean,
- 1:14:22Speaker 4: whether or not he can really fight for five rounds
- 1:14:25Speaker 4: like against with a great gas tank.
- 1:14:29Speaker 5: Access after five years of tearing your body up.
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: You don't know, right because it's all in a vacuum.
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: Like there's some training footage of him beating guys up
- 1:14:40Speaker 4: that you've seen, but who knows what he actually has
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: been doing. We know he's been partying, but has he
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: also been like really training, Because if he's been really training,
- 1:14:49Speaker 4: and he shocks everybody because he's still got his skills. Yeah,
- 1:14:52Speaker 4: I mean, my god, if he if he somehow or
- 1:14:54Speaker 4: another sparks out Max in like the first round, do
- 1:14:58Speaker 4: you do you know how big he he's right back,
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: right right, right back, I mean he's right back. Him
- 1:15:03Speaker 4: and Justin Gatchee the biggest history diverse. They go for
- 1:15:08Speaker 4: the BMF title at once. Ever, cars like I don't
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: want to cut any weight. I would be crazy.
- 1:15:13Speaker 5: My only concern is his size. Like Max struggled with
- 1:15:17Speaker 5: bigger dudes like dust In the first time. Then Max
- 1:15:20Speaker 5: came back bigger, which we know because when he went
- 1:15:23Speaker 5: back down, he struggled, you know with their lawsky you know,
- 1:15:27Speaker 5: I mean he went five rounds with Justin. So, like,
- 1:15:30Speaker 5: I'm just waiting to see, does is Connor able to
- 1:15:34Speaker 5: put that fucking weight on him and have a problem?
- 1:15:38Speaker 4: Is he a bigger dude? Though they both thought at
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: the same weight class and he did start a forty
- 1:15:42Speaker 4: five yeah, point when Max was fighting at one, when
- 1:15:45Speaker 4: he was a champion, he was walking around like one
- 1:15:47Speaker 4: seventy six. He's a big He's a bigger, good big.
- 1:15:50Speaker 4: I mean, I love Max, so like it's follow I
- 1:15:55Speaker 4: follow Max on YouTube. He's got a great channel so
- 1:15:58Speaker 4: recording all of his training and also you're doing, and
- 1:16:00Speaker 4: you know you see him. He looks good, dude, he
- 1:16:02Speaker 4: looks big.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: Dustin Porrier thinks Max might be bigger.
- 1:16:07Speaker 4: Really yeah, I.
- 1:16:08Speaker 5: Mean he's what he says.
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: He says he's kind of thin, but he's got a
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: bigger frame. He thinks he's gonna be big.
- 1:16:13Speaker 5: Like, I mean, he came to my gym a couple
- 1:16:15Speaker 5: of times and he's like my height.
- 1:16:16Speaker 4: I think he made a big mistake going back to
- 1:16:19Speaker 4: forty five after he did. Yeah, I agree, I think
- 1:16:22Speaker 4: too hard. I think I think it's just too hard
- 1:16:24Speaker 4: on the body. And especially when he got who's a
- 1:16:27Speaker 4: thick fifty five when he thought Justin he looked good. Yeah,
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: he looks solid at that weight. I think him fighting
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: at that weight, he could actually fight. I think going
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: down to forty five, I think he's I think he
- 1:16:38Speaker 4: was fighting. It looked to me like he was in,
- 1:16:40Speaker 4: like he was compromised. Like I think the weight cut
- 1:16:43Speaker 4: was just it was just too much.
- 1:16:44Speaker 5: Do you think that Justin fight and Max is different
- 1:16:47Speaker 5: if he doesn't get caught with that kick early in
- 1:16:50Speaker 5: the face one, you know what, I'm like, I would
- 1:16:52Speaker 5: like to see that fight without Justin's compromise.
- 1:16:55Speaker 4: Right, But I mean that's what about like that that
- 1:16:59Speaker 4: that was the intention? Right, it could have been a
- 1:17:01Speaker 4: k right. It shattered the bones of his nose. Yeah,
- 1:17:05Speaker 4: so that for sure. I mean, but then you know,
- 1:17:07Speaker 4: you think you see the way Max looked at one
- 1:17:10Speaker 4: forty five when he fought Ilia, But then you got
- 1:17:12Speaker 4: also factor and also he's fighting Ilia, and Ilia is
- 1:17:15Speaker 4: so fucking good, like you look bad, Like there's a
- 1:17:18Speaker 4: lot of guys who don't look He's combinations on people,
- 1:17:21Speaker 4: and a lot of guys look bad doesn't mean they're bad.
- 1:17:23Speaker 4: I'd like to see Max and Justin again if Max
- 1:17:26Speaker 4: pulls it off. But then again, like, what are you
- 1:17:28Speaker 4: gonna do for Ilia? Like if Ilia wants a rematch? Like,
- 1:17:32Speaker 4: because I don't think justify that, I don't believe.
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: So I think you give him Patty.
- 1:17:36Speaker 5: If Patty wins, that's what I think, that's what his
- 1:17:39Speaker 5: next fight should be. I think I think Patty wins.
- 1:17:43Speaker 4: You think you think Patty beats Ilia.
- 1:17:45Speaker 5: No, I think he beats St. Denis to get to Ilia.
- 1:17:48Speaker 5: I think he gets hit way too much to beat Ilia.
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: Well, ilias sharp, he's so sharp with st. I rewatched
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: that fight. Yeah, I like Patty in this one. Saint
- 1:17:58Speaker 4: denis not an easy I don't think he is a beast.
- 1:18:01Speaker 5: I just think his Patty strikings a little better and
- 1:18:04Speaker 5: his jiu jitsu is better. I think the only place
- 1:18:06Speaker 5: Saint than he has the advantages into the wrestling. Just
- 1:18:10Speaker 5: my opinion.
- 1:18:11Speaker 4: I don't know, man Sundayny switched camps and then made
- 1:18:15Speaker 4: that big adjustment after he lost to who lost.
- 1:18:20Speaker 5: Looked he puts him on his back at all, Like
- 1:18:24Speaker 5: I don't does satany train off his back because it didn't.
- 1:18:26Speaker 4: Look like it.
- 1:18:27Speaker 5: In that Moicano match.
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: Patty and Illiot would be huge.
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: They have his that's right, they got yeah, do that
- 1:18:37Speaker 4: ship in London.
- 1:18:37Speaker 5: I think that's that's the right comeback fight.
- 1:18:41Speaker 4: And like I'm going, I don't want to get caught
- 1:18:46Speaker 4: in a riot, not for anything.
- 1:18:49Speaker 5: Lock you up for your social media when you get
- 1:18:51Speaker 5: over there.
- 1:18:51Speaker 6: They would They were shipping on Patty when he lost
- 1:18:54Speaker 6: to Justin and uh, you know he got compromised also
- 1:18:58Speaker 6: that first round.
- 1:18:59Speaker 4: I believe he got poked in or what else, whatever
- 1:19:02Speaker 4: the case. He went five with him with him and
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: you know, and got battered and stood up to great shots.
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: And he's gonna come out of that fight better, He'll know, Okay,
- 1:19:12Speaker 4: there's more work to be done. There's holes I have
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: in my game, there's places where I got caught.
- 1:19:17Speaker 5: And he has improved over his Like when he first
- 1:19:20Speaker 5: got there, I didn't really think much of him, But
- 1:19:21Speaker 5: each time out, I think he gets a little better.
- 1:19:24Speaker 4: So yeah, dude, for sure, it's just Justin's And yeah
- 1:19:27Speaker 4: he's my favorite fightert you know, been for a minute. Yeah,
- 1:19:31Speaker 4: no doubt because he's just always in a white house.
- 1:19:33Speaker 4: And especially after you see that second round when I
- 1:19:37Speaker 4: rewatched it again when Eliot was putting it on him
- 1:19:40Speaker 4: in that second round, like col those liver parties, how.
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: Does he come back from this? If he more than one?
- 1:19:46Speaker 4: Too? So beautiful though too like the way he delivers
- 1:19:50Speaker 4: those shots just clean. You know what else doesn't like that?
- 1:19:54Speaker 4: Aaron Pico, He's got this. Yeah, Pico is because that
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: was one of those guys I was fighting. Pit Bull
- 1:20:06Speaker 4: was like, you know, a real legend.
- 1:20:08Speaker 6: But he the way he mixed it together, the striking
- 1:20:11Speaker 6: and the and the and the wrestling was really good.
- 1:20:13Speaker 4: He just got crazy in his debut and he just
- 1:20:16Speaker 4: got a little just too hyped up, a little too
- 1:20:18Speaker 4: aggressive against a guy who's way too skilled.
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: Yeah you know he's a hunter.
- 1:20:23Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, he's a g I love that he's
- 1:20:25Speaker 6: so aggressive, but uh, that was a great comeback fight,
- 1:20:29Speaker 6: you know what I mean.
- 1:20:29Speaker 4: It was because it shows that that he's still in there.
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: You know, you get worried when they when you see
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: people get the lights.
- 1:20:35Speaker 4: Put out like that, You like they can ever be
- 1:20:37Speaker 4: the same.
- 1:20:37Speaker 6: And then when you see him come back into a
- 1:20:39Speaker 6: fight like that, being so intelligent, Yeah, that's a good sign.
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: But he has to make sure his defense is always
- 1:20:44Speaker 3: good because his chin is still suspect.
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: Regardless of how good his skill is, he's still.
- 1:20:50Speaker 4: Don't have a chin. He's been knocked down a bunch
- 1:20:52Speaker 4: of times, you know. I mean, after a certain amount
- 1:20:54Speaker 4: of times, it's easier to get knocked out. And you've
- 1:20:56Speaker 4: got to know he's been knocked out in training.
- 1:20:58Speaker 5: I always believe part of your chin is believing you
- 1:21:01Speaker 5: can't be knocked out. And then when it happens to
- 1:21:03Speaker 5: you that first time, instead of when you get your
- 1:21:05Speaker 5: bell rung, you bite out on your mouthpiece. Now you're like,
- 1:21:08Speaker 5: oh ship, not again. Like I think mentally, it's a
- 1:21:12Speaker 5: it's different.
- 1:21:13Speaker 4: There's something to that probably, But then there's also like
- 1:21:16Speaker 4: a get hit on. Yeah, that's like certain ship that
- 1:21:20Speaker 4: violates you believe nobody wheelkicks. I remember that one, and
- 1:21:31Speaker 4: that was in Brazil and Terry Adam, Yeah, he had
- 1:21:35Speaker 4: a good one too. That's one of those where you go,
- 1:21:37Speaker 4: I don't think that guy's ever going to be the same.
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: I don't think he was the same after that.
- 1:21:42Speaker 4: I thought it right then and there I was like,
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: I think that was too hard. Yeah, that was too hard.
- 1:21:46Speaker 4: That's a different shot.
- 1:21:47Speaker 6: And you've seen it where guys they get one and
- 1:21:50Speaker 6: then they're still in there and then you see them
- 1:21:51Speaker 6: get a couple and then next thing you know, that
- 1:21:53Speaker 6: chin is gone. It's just it's not Listen, Chuck Withell
- 1:21:57Speaker 6: is mentally strong, you know what I mean. Then, like
- 1:22:01Speaker 6: I wonder if this is gonna you know, that's just
- 1:22:02Speaker 6: his body saying his body's trying to protect them.
- 1:22:05Speaker 4: Yeah, his body saying enough of this. And then it's
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: also the apparently it's the lining inside your brain all
- 1:22:11Speaker 4: that fascia tears over time and repeated head traumas and
- 1:22:16Speaker 4: just there's a lot of swashing around. So when you
- 1:22:19Speaker 4: get dinged, your your brain is literally going without shock
- 1:22:22Speaker 4: absorbers bouncing off the inside of your skull. That might
- 1:22:26Speaker 4: not be the technical way. Then hey man, listen all
- 1:22:32Speaker 4: those jokes. I was like a little armadillo.
- 1:22:38Speaker 6: I was covering that little motherfucker unless I'm running into
- 1:22:41Speaker 6: a backfist.
- 1:22:42Speaker 4: That was okay, But it's so funny how everything just evolves.
- 1:22:47Speaker 6: When I got stopped with the first I was the
- 1:22:49Speaker 6: first guy ever to get stopped with a backfist, and
- 1:22:51Speaker 6: when I did, the people were like, Yo, this guy
- 1:22:55Speaker 6: must suck. Nobody gets stoped with that ship Now you
- 1:22:57Speaker 6: see it on every car, people getting stopped.
- 1:22:58Speaker 4: With backfist to say, have these conversations like Eddie Bravo
- 1:23:01Speaker 4: and I at the beginning of the UFC about stuff
- 1:23:04Speaker 4: that works that's not in there yet, Like what about this?
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: What about that? You know, the big one that I
- 1:23:08Speaker 4: missed on front kick to the face before Anderson Silva
- 1:23:12Speaker 4: front kicked v tour the face. I'm like, that doesn't work.
- 1:23:15Speaker 4: Nobody does Nobody does that. Yeah, it's too hard to land.
- 1:23:19Speaker 4: I don't know why I thought that. He really thought
- 1:23:22Speaker 4: that for a little bit, because I was like, it's
- 1:23:24Speaker 4: not worth it. I was like, that move is so
- 1:23:26Speaker 4: powerful to the body. I was like, that's really where
- 1:23:28Speaker 4: you should use it because you could land. It's a
- 1:23:30Speaker 4: big target and you could really fuck a guy up.
- 1:23:32Speaker 4: You get your most power with the front kick going straight,
- 1:23:34Speaker 4: and I was like, to the face, it's like too
- 1:23:36Speaker 4: hard to hit. I thought that was yeah, yeah, Micheta
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: and Randy. I think it was like v tour first
- 1:23:46Speaker 4: or Anderson vtour first. I think that was the first
- 1:23:49Speaker 4: one when we saw real spectacular front kick knock out
- 1:23:51Speaker 4: to the face. But then it was Macheetah and Randy
- 1:23:54Speaker 4: and then a bunch of people start doing it, and
- 1:23:55Speaker 4: then front kicks the face became.
- 1:23:58Speaker 5: Frank that.
- 1:24:00Speaker 4: How about Michael Chandler, Yeah, yeah, or Cheeto Rivera, Frankie Edgar, Oh,
- 1:24:11Speaker 4: frank frunk kicks to the face or brutal. I didn't
- 1:24:14Speaker 4: see that coming, I really, because in martial arts tournaments
- 1:24:17Speaker 4: most of people were throwing him to the body and
- 1:24:19Speaker 4: not throwing them to the face. Even in kickboxing, not
- 1:24:21Speaker 4: a whole lot of guys are throwing him to the face.
- 1:24:23Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:24:23Speaker 3: With Michael Chandler, I remember talking to him. He said
- 1:24:25Speaker 3: he didn't even practice that. That's he just says he
- 1:24:28Speaker 3: just saw the opening and just threw the kick.
- 1:24:31Speaker 4: That's wild. Yeah, that's so crazy.
- 1:24:33Speaker 5: And I think too. Once a a successful technique gets
- 1:24:37Speaker 5: out there and people see it, honey, then all of
- 1:24:39Speaker 5: a sudden, hey I can do that.
- 1:24:41Speaker 4: Yeah. He had a rough outing the last one, Mike. Yeah,
- 1:24:46Speaker 4: that was the time. Man.
- 1:24:47Speaker 5: That was a bad matchup. That's like that staying to say, Mike,
- 1:24:50Speaker 5: it's time for you to retire.
- 1:24:51Speaker 4: Mike is forty, Hoofy is in his prime and he
- 1:24:56Speaker 4: might be the scariest striker at and by the way,
- 1:25:01Speaker 4: giant for fifty.
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: Dog like rangy good movement.
- 1:25:06Speaker 4: He's fucking good. Bro. He hit him with like three
- 1:25:08Speaker 4: wheel kicks.
- 1:25:09Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, he was just it was target practice. It's
- 1:25:12Speaker 5: crazy how.
- 1:25:13Speaker 4: Good he is.
- 1:25:13Speaker 3: And you talk about that taekwondo movement, he has that
- 1:25:16Speaker 3: exactly but with boxing hands.
- 1:25:18Speaker 4: So it's crazy. Yeah, you know, I mean got to
- 1:25:21Speaker 4: tighten up the wrestling in the jiu jitsu and that's
- 1:25:23Speaker 4: why he lost to Ben Walls Anthony. But that was
- 1:25:25Speaker 4: a good learning experience when you see a guy who's
- 1:25:28Speaker 4: that good, fucking everybody up. You know. The way he
- 1:25:31Speaker 4: put out king.
- 1:25:34Speaker 5: That was real bad.
- 1:25:35Speaker 4: He does it like a video game. And and I
- 1:25:39Speaker 4: thought that was, by the way, the physibe knockout. Apparently
- 1:25:44Speaker 4: he was like sick as a dog before the fight
- 1:25:47Speaker 4: was they were talking about pulling out of the fight,
- 1:25:50Speaker 4: and he just took the fight anyway and had one
- 1:25:52Speaker 4: of the best performances of his career. But that guy's
- 1:25:55Speaker 4: he's elite man and training with Volkanovski, I know, only
- 1:25:58Speaker 4: going to make him better. What better guy like wrestling, strong,
- 1:26:03Speaker 4: like animal featherweight that was like the king for so
- 1:26:06Speaker 4: many years, won the crown again. Yeah, stick around with
- 1:26:09Speaker 4: that guy. He'll show you how to get up, He'll
- 1:26:11Speaker 4: show you how to not get taken down.
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: And you know he don't have much left in him, right.
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: He want to coach, You want to like pass it on,
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: and you got the perfect guy to pass it.
- 1:26:20Speaker 4: He's got a great fight. I q very well rounded toeah.
- 1:26:24Speaker 4: I think he's one of my favorites.
- 1:26:26Speaker 5: He's really grew on me. I didn't like him because
- 1:26:28Speaker 5: of Max. You know, I was always rooting for Max,
- 1:26:32Speaker 5: but uh, you know, he's earned my respect. That guy
- 1:26:34Speaker 5: is just he's he's good. He's good everywhere too.
- 1:26:36Speaker 4: He really is the dude I got my eyes on
- 1:26:38Speaker 4: the most is Carlos Protest I got my eyes on
- 1:26:42Speaker 4: cur Jack Dela Model and Ko was crazy. Jack Jack
- 1:26:48Speaker 4: is so fucking good, and he's so tough. He's so tough,
- 1:26:52Speaker 4: and you watch Carlos just.
- 1:26:55Speaker 5: Art like target practice around him against such a high level.
- 1:26:58Speaker 4: He's having fun.
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: I know that's that's the worst part.
- 1:27:02Speaker 5: Morales is a savage too.
- 1:27:04Speaker 4: Still no, but that fight. But save that fight, Morales
- 1:27:08Speaker 4: versus Protest. Save that ye wait till it's ready. Not yet.
- 1:27:12Speaker 4: It's like, don't pull the brisket out of the smoker
- 1:27:14Speaker 4: just yet.
- 1:27:14Speaker 5: I was telling mad I saw some grappling uh like
- 1:27:18Speaker 5: footage of Morales, and I mean he looked pretty.
- 1:27:21Speaker 4: He has a wrestling background, and if there's a way
- 1:27:22Speaker 4: he's going to get protests, it's going to probably be
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: a combination of those things, because Protest just wants to stand.
- 1:27:29Speaker 5: Yeah, of course.
- 1:27:30Speaker 4: And he's he's built like like if you had an engineer,
- 1:27:35Speaker 4: like a long arms. Oh, and he's so accurate.
- 1:27:41Speaker 6: He had his best round the fifth round versus Ian
- 1:27:46Speaker 6: Machado ol Gary. Yeah, he came back like a bat
- 1:27:48Speaker 6: out of hell.
- 1:27:49Speaker 4: And really had him hurt bad.
- 1:27:50Speaker 6: He might get outpointed, but he's he's calm in bad
- 1:27:54Speaker 6: positions and he's always fucking dangerous. That was the last
- 1:27:57Speaker 6: You're thinking maybe he's a chain smoke or something that
- 1:27:59Speaker 6: he's or he smokes. Yeah, the fifth round man he had,
- 1:28:03Speaker 6: he had Ian in trouble.
- 1:28:04Speaker 4: He's good dude, and he's hit so fucking hard. When
- 1:28:08Speaker 4: he killed Leon, I was like, I know Leon's good.
- 1:28:13Speaker 4: He's a good striker to Ko Leon like that clean,
- 1:28:16Speaker 4: it was crazy.
- 1:28:17Speaker 5: They got a crazy room. Was it a fight nerds
- 1:28:20Speaker 5: they call them, and Hoost he was there.
- 1:28:23Speaker 4: Yeah, he trains with them, and he trains with other
- 1:28:26Speaker 4: people as well, like protest moves around, but he you know,
- 1:28:31Speaker 4: he had a giant and muy Thai record rather Yeah,
- 1:28:35Speaker 4: like how many Muytai fights that Carlo's protests have like
- 1:28:38Speaker 4: world class, Like I've watched a bunch of his just
- 1:28:41Speaker 4: pure Multai fights, and the comfort level that he has
- 1:28:45Speaker 4: in there exchanging and moving and knowing where he's supposed
- 1:28:48Speaker 4: to be not to be that like sensitivity that he
- 1:28:51Speaker 4: has to like striking exchanges because the world class muy
- 1:28:54Speaker 4: Thai is such an advantage.
- 1:28:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I would favor him if he fought Ian Gary
- 1:28:58Speaker 3: again because he knows he has.
- 1:29:02Speaker 4: To try to get it on him. Yeah, can't point
- 1:29:04Speaker 4: fight him. Do you think that Islam's going to just
- 1:29:07Speaker 4: have his way or do you think Ian Gary has
- 1:29:10Speaker 4: a shot there? He definitely has a shot. I mean,
- 1:29:12Speaker 4: so he had twenty nine Muytai wins, five losses, so
- 1:29:18Speaker 4: thirty four muay Thai fights and like high level. Man.
- 1:29:22Speaker 4: You watch him fight and you're like, Okay, this guy
- 1:29:24Speaker 4: he can fucking he knows where to be, where not
- 1:29:28Speaker 4: to be, and he knows how to like piece people up. Man.
- 1:29:32Speaker 4: It's like when you have that high level. We've seen
- 1:29:35Speaker 4: it so many times with these guys like World Change,
- 1:29:37Speaker 4: like Alex see these world champion kickboxers, they entered to
- 1:29:40Speaker 4: mm A like nobody has a chance standing with them.
- 1:29:42Speaker 4: It's like it's too scary. Yeah, and that's what you're
- 1:29:45Speaker 4: seeing with Carlos, It's like fuck man. Like what he
- 1:29:48Speaker 4: did to jay DM, I was like, holy shit.
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: I mean he was having fun, he was just playing
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: a good time.
- 1:29:54Speaker 4: I was like, what beating the ship out of the
- 1:29:55Speaker 4: former world champion having a good time, just smashing them
- 1:29:59Speaker 4: had him screaming from calf kiss yeah yeah. Whereas he
- 1:30:03Speaker 4: he went to his corner and they're like no ah, yeah,
- 1:30:06Speaker 4: fucking scream. They're telling him to not screen. Yeah, oh
- 1:30:10Speaker 4: you didn't just get kicked you you know, is his
- 1:30:17Speaker 4: nose is on the left side of his face, and
- 1:30:19Speaker 4: you're saying, that guy tough enough. That's a fact.
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: That was one of those I was had him when
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: he was getting up against the cage.
- 1:30:28Speaker 4: I was fucking flinching.
- 1:30:29Speaker 6: I'm like, hear it, it's coming because you just you
- 1:30:31Speaker 6: know it's coming, but you just don't know where it's
- 1:30:33Speaker 6: coming from.
- 1:30:34Speaker 4: And those knees to the body are so nasty. Protest
- 1:30:37Speaker 4: is so nasty. He's so good man, and he's getting
- 1:30:41Speaker 4: better too, and he and now he's starting to do
- 1:30:43Speaker 4: this ship. Yeah, it's like he's feeling it. He feels
- 1:30:47Speaker 4: like he's the best guy.
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like he's the scariest guy in that division.
- 1:30:50Speaker 4: I think so he's the scariest, But it doesn't mean
- 1:30:52Speaker 4: he's going to be the best, right. The bottom line
- 1:30:54Speaker 4: about Islam is no one's able to get away from him.
- 1:30:57Speaker 4: He gets ahold of you. He's very good standing up now,
- 1:31:00Speaker 4: and he gets a hold of you. You're at Foxville.
- 1:31:02Speaker 4: He has a different kind of wrestling, different kind of grappling. Well,
- 1:31:06Speaker 4: if he can't keep him off of them. I don't
- 1:31:08Speaker 4: see how he beats him on the ground. His submissions
- 1:31:10Speaker 4: are fucking insane too. He's he's just got a feiz grip. Man.
- 1:31:14Speaker 4: I know everybody that he rolls with, or everybody that
- 1:31:16Speaker 4: he fights rather, they all say, I'm never in grab
- 1:31:19Speaker 4: like that, never been never felt anybody that strong. Islam. Yeah,
- 1:31:24Speaker 4: I don't know if it's the same at seventy. But
- 1:31:26Speaker 4: he's so big. I can't imagine it's not it's not
- 1:31:29Speaker 4: like he's a little seventy.
- 1:31:30Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not like because he's talking and he's Yeah,
- 1:31:33Speaker 3: he's got a good frame one him.
- 1:31:34Speaker 4: I think he's going to be better at seventy because
- 1:31:36Speaker 4: he's not going to be depleted. Because when I would
- 1:31:38Speaker 4: stand next to him in the octagon when he was
- 1:31:39Speaker 4: the fifty five pound champion, I'd be like, how, yeah,
- 1:31:42Speaker 4: how do you weigh fifty five? It doesn't even make
- 1:31:44Speaker 4: any sense. You're one hundred and ninety pounds right now. Guaranteed,
- 1:31:47Speaker 4: if I put you on a scale, you weigh one ninety.
- 1:31:49Speaker 4: I think it's so big.
- 1:31:50Speaker 3: I think Ian's gonna make it come competitive early, you know,
- 1:31:54Speaker 3: because he's got good footwork, He moves side to side
- 1:31:56Speaker 3: really good.
- 1:31:57Speaker 4: He's long.
- 1:31:58Speaker 3: But if he gets taken down ice and then it
- 1:32:01Speaker 3: becomes a habit of him getting taken down, he won't
- 1:32:03Speaker 3: get back up.
- 1:32:04Speaker 4: He won't if But the thing is, if Ian Gary
- 1:32:07Speaker 4: can get off sharp combinations early, he could stun him. Yeah,
- 1:32:10Speaker 4: because Ian can move. He's fast and fast as fuck,
- 1:32:15Speaker 4: and he's super accurate. And the way he throws his
- 1:32:18Speaker 4: strikes is like real clean, no fatness move, everything's like that.
- 1:32:23Speaker 4: He's very responsible. Yeah, he's not like a physically overpowering guy.
- 1:32:27Speaker 4: It's technique. His technique is sharp. Did you see his
- 1:32:30Speaker 4: interaction that time? What comes out?
- 1:32:33Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:32:33Speaker 4: What are your thoughts on that? There was a little
- 1:32:36Speaker 4: too much of a pat on the back, That's what
- 1:32:38Speaker 4: the fuck I'm talking about. Wasn't wrong and I like it,
- 1:32:41Speaker 4: don't against him, but there's like a pat on the
- 1:32:44Speaker 4: back kind of Yeah, he went up to him like
- 1:32:48Speaker 4: you trying to check him. What do you know you
- 1:32:50Speaker 4: got coming up all you feel strong and there's a
- 1:32:53Speaker 4: weird thing. Hit me a little too hard on the back,
- 1:32:56Speaker 4: you know. There's one there's a hug and then there's
- 1:32:58Speaker 4: a slap slap, Yeah, where like there's a slap slap.
- 1:33:01Speaker 4: That's like a little aggressive some male dominance me for me?
- 1:33:06Speaker 4: What are you trying to do? You don't like me?
- 1:33:07Speaker 4: Are you hitting me? You feel like it feels like
- 1:33:09Speaker 4: you're hitting me a little bit. It's like if you
- 1:33:11Speaker 4: were if you hit a woman in the face like that,
- 1:33:13Speaker 4: you go to jail. You're hitting me in the back.
- 1:33:18Speaker 4: If you like, hey, where's my fucker is spaghetti? And
- 1:33:20Speaker 4: you double me slapper in the right now, I don't
- 1:33:22Speaker 4: even like from so many right hands.
- 1:33:25Speaker 2: If you see this little here that's bumping out, Yeah,
- 1:33:29Speaker 2: I don't like. I sucked it up on showing his head.
- 1:33:32Speaker 6: But I don't like when guys try to when they
- 1:33:34Speaker 6: first meet and they try to squeeze because I want
- 1:33:38Speaker 6: to smack him right there because it's because I feel
- 1:33:40Speaker 6: pain with that ship.
- 1:33:44Speaker 2: No he's talking about them.
- 1:33:45Speaker 4: No, No, No, that's shop cut that dare you? Yeah,
- 1:33:54Speaker 4: what are you looking at? No? It was Jamie. Wasn't
- 1:33:58Speaker 4: that a fight? It was like back stage stay up?
- 1:34:02Speaker 4: But I felt I honestly felt bad for Hamza trying
- 1:34:06Speaker 4: to make one eighty five from all that I heard
- 1:34:09Speaker 4: before the Strickland fight, like he almost died. Yeah, when
- 1:34:13Speaker 4: he made one eighty five when he fought Strickland. Really yeah,
- 1:34:16Speaker 4: he was apparently thinking that he was going to go
- 1:34:19Speaker 4: up to light heavyweight and they were even talking about
- 1:34:21Speaker 4: him fighting yeerie. OK. And so he was preparing like
- 1:34:24Speaker 4: he was going up to light heavyweight. And if you
- 1:34:26Speaker 4: watch him, he's another guy who's got a great YouTube channel,
- 1:34:29Speaker 4: he details all his training. He was hanging out with
- 1:34:31Speaker 4: that Calavita guy doing a lot of the Cardi on
- 1:34:34Speaker 4: strength here. It is like he he gave, he gave
- 1:34:37Speaker 4: him for that though. I think it was like, good
- 1:34:41Speaker 4: job tonight, good job. And I think he slapped him
- 1:34:43Speaker 4: on the back before that. There was or maybe it
- 1:34:46Speaker 4: was after. I don't know what it was, but it
- 1:34:47Speaker 4: was enough. So like he's fine now, like they seem cool.
- 1:34:51Speaker 4: Oh no, no talking a little ship. He's a champion,
- 1:34:57Speaker 4: don't worry. So yeah him, well, you know, Hamsa.
- 1:35:01Speaker 3: Doesn't well, I mean he gives a little that little
- 1:35:03Speaker 3: squeeze on the shoulder, bro, that was not necessarily.
- 1:35:06Speaker 4: Chechnya is not America, right, Okay, Dudes that come from
- 1:35:12Speaker 4: that is a war torn country and those motherfuckers don't play.
- 1:35:16Speaker 4: And the guy who turns it, the guy who runs
- 1:35:18Speaker 4: it is it's homie ye, which is like, okay, so
- 1:35:22Speaker 4: much so he lets him tap him out. Yeah, it's ridiculous,
- 1:35:27Speaker 4: but that's how it goes. You know, you gotta do
- 1:35:30Speaker 4: what you gotta do. But I like the fight. I
- 1:35:32Speaker 4: think Ian has a real chance. I do too.
- 1:35:35Speaker 2: I think early he does. But if he gets if
- 1:35:37Speaker 2: he gets taken down repeatedly.
- 1:35:39Speaker 4: He gets taking done, he might just get smushed. He
- 1:35:40Speaker 4: might get choked and smushed and choked. I don't know.
- 1:35:43Speaker 4: Strug on the ground he did. But again, that's a
- 1:35:46Speaker 4: couple of years ago. It's not like he's not getting better.
- 1:35:49Speaker 4: I mean that dude.
- 1:35:49Speaker 2: Yeah, he's smart, like he knows that, he knows how
- 1:35:52Speaker 2: to get himself prepared.
- 1:35:55Speaker 5: I just think he's got his edges on the you know,
- 1:35:57Speaker 5: on the feet obviously, So I think that's where he
- 1:36:00Speaker 5: he's gonna win. That's where he will.
- 1:36:01Speaker 4: I don't know why people don't like him. I love him.
- 1:36:03Speaker 6: He also is awesome. He also almost finished Shovecot with
- 1:36:06Speaker 6: a real naked shoke if I remember correctly, does that
- 1:36:09Speaker 6: he did? He did have back, Yeah, he had his back.
- 1:36:11Speaker 4: Oh I forgot about that. I forgot about it. I
- 1:36:13Speaker 4: mean he that was the closest anybody came to finishing.
- 1:36:16Speaker 4: He also fucked up Shapcott's knee. Yeah, he hit him
- 1:36:19Speaker 4: with that oblique kick to the knee, and that's the
- 1:36:20Speaker 4: reason why Shopcott had to get surgery. Really, and he's
- 1:36:23Speaker 4: had two surgery since. Yeah, Like he ain't even made
- 1:36:26Speaker 4: a post about it. Yeah, damn, that's so rude, so rude.
- 1:36:30Speaker 4: This is why he had to get surgery. I think
- 1:36:32Speaker 4: he had made a post. I saw a post that
- 1:36:33Speaker 4: maybe somebody attributed to Ian, but it was it was
- 1:36:37Speaker 4: his work. I mean, look, it's a legal technique and
- 1:36:39Speaker 4: he's really good at it. And the way he throws
- 1:36:40Speaker 4: it that oblique way sideways to the knee, that's fucking devastating.
- 1:36:44Speaker 2: And he's long enough to do he just kind of yeah, man,
- 1:36:47Speaker 2: for sure.
- 1:36:47Speaker 4: John Jones style, but he's like his the way he
- 1:36:50Speaker 4: could move in with combinations, it's very hard to deal with.
- 1:36:53Speaker 4: But even he had to fucking grab MVPs like right, yeah, yeah,
- 1:37:00Speaker 4: that's what I'm talking about, where you can't hit them. Yeah,
- 1:37:02Speaker 4: and you're like, what am I doing here?
- 1:37:05Speaker 3: But that's why I like Ian, like in terms of
- 1:37:07Speaker 3: like think about that, Like he's able to solve them problems,
- 1:37:10Speaker 3: like he says, i Q is so high. He's beating
- 1:37:13Speaker 3: guys like m v P and like you guys at
- 1:37:15Speaker 3: other people and Carlos protest guys that other people can't beat.
- 1:37:18Speaker 4: Very true, very true. Look that there it is right there,
- 1:37:21Speaker 4: that's it right there, man, get back it up against
- 1:37:24Speaker 4: what we hit it. Oh my god, dude, damn that
- 1:37:27Speaker 4: look how bad that is right.
- 1:37:30Speaker 2: There in the wooden dummy, that's a wing chunk.
- 1:37:35Speaker 4: Real, it's real wing chung works proof. Gary's no joke, man,
- 1:37:41Speaker 4: He's fucking dangerous. And that style of being that tall
- 1:37:45Speaker 4: is so hard to deal with. Matt, my short brother,
- 1:37:48Speaker 4: you know what I'm talking about.
- 1:37:49Speaker 6: Let me tell you something, especially a little trolls like us,
- 1:37:52Speaker 6: you always try to latch onto my head.
- 1:37:54Speaker 4: It's just so hard to even spar with tall guys
- 1:37:57Speaker 4: because they can hit you from six inches further away
- 1:38:00Speaker 4: then you can hit them. That's a lot of space.
- 1:38:02Speaker 4: You got to come in behind that double triple jam.
- 1:38:05Speaker 4: I love the fact that you you can do anything,
- 1:38:08Speaker 4: and you should be able to kick to the knees.
- 1:38:10Speaker 4: I hate the fact that it blew his knee out.
- 1:38:11Speaker 4: We really haven't seen him the same since we I mean,
- 1:38:14Speaker 4: he's been two surgeries. I think he had one fight
- 1:38:19Speaker 4: after that, right, did he have one more fight?
- 1:38:22Speaker 5: He's had a Did he have a bad car accident
- 1:38:25Speaker 5: or something like that. Yeah, I thought so.
- 1:38:30Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:38:31Speaker 5: Maybe hope not, or maybe it was just his family.
- 1:38:34Speaker 4: Maybe I don't know. I hope he's okay. I just
- 1:38:36Speaker 4: missed the guy in the octagon. He's fucking good man.
- 1:38:39Speaker 4: Chop cut was good. It's just like one technique can
- 1:38:41Speaker 4: change her.
- 1:38:42Speaker 5: I thought he was coming back, like trying to rehab
- 1:38:45Speaker 5: from whatever from the accident. Like thought, I mean, look,
- 1:38:50Speaker 5: he obviously well first for sure, for sure had a
- 1:38:54Speaker 5: cl surgery before that, so he might have maybe maybe
- 1:38:58Speaker 5: that's what happened. Maybe he redid it.
- 1:39:00Speaker 4: Fuck dude, that sucks. He's so good. But then again,
- 1:39:03Speaker 4: it's like this fucking sport waits for no one. These
- 1:39:06Speaker 4: dudes are coming up, coming up. You know what I'm
- 1:39:08Speaker 4: bombed that got canceled this weekend is Ethan Ewing.
- 1:39:11Speaker 6: Oh yeah, yeah, he came onto the scene and uh
- 1:39:19Speaker 6: it was make a short notice fightmaker at Madison Square
- 1:39:23Speaker 6: Garden and well Maker and well he's having a hard
- 1:39:27Speaker 6: well Makers having a hard time lately. He lost his
- 1:39:29Speaker 6: last one too, and he's a better fighter than that.
- 1:39:32Speaker 6: So he's a young kid, so we'll see the best
- 1:39:34Speaker 6: from him yet.
- 1:39:35Speaker 4: But well, he came out so spectacular, well maker did.
- 1:39:38Speaker 4: He looks so good in his debut, and he looks
- 1:39:40Speaker 4: like he's you know and on the Contender series, looks
- 1:39:42Speaker 4: like he's he's really good. But he's really good. He
- 1:39:47Speaker 4: is real good. And he's another guy like we're talking
- 1:39:50Speaker 4: about like these this new breed of guys like the
- 1:39:52Speaker 4: san Haagens, constantly switching stances, constantly giving you different angles
- 1:39:58Speaker 4: and directions. It's like very hard to pattern that he is.
- 1:40:01Speaker 5: He on the counter card too, right, she was.
- 1:40:06Speaker 4: Bautista, Yeah, but he was Ethan was on the card
- 1:40:10Speaker 4: and I think they pulled him off.
- 1:40:12Speaker 5: Yeah he was the dude he's fighting was undefeated.
- 1:40:15Speaker 4: What's there? It is Bosarat? Yeah? Fuck and good that
- 1:40:20Speaker 4: that's a really good he's tall rangye, he like that
- 1:40:23Speaker 4: would have been interesting. Yeah, the car he's injured. He'll
- 1:40:27Speaker 4: be back. But I like the fact that he's not
- 1:40:29Speaker 4: fighting injured too, because this is a pretty significant injury.
- 1:40:33Speaker 4: And so when these guys they say fuck it, I'll
- 1:40:36Speaker 4: just do it, and then you have one loss and
- 1:40:38Speaker 4: then that loss leads you you know, your career can
- 1:40:40Speaker 4: go down a weird road. Pretty good, it's a very
- 1:40:42Speaker 4: good card, Ben when Sandini and Patty pimblet right, that's right.
- 1:40:46Speaker 4: And then Connor Maxis is on this one too, right,
- 1:40:52Speaker 4: there was he was going around that Josh hok It.
- 1:40:54Speaker 4: I was like, please don't make that be true.
- 1:40:56Speaker 2: Yeah, but he's a minus twenty five hundred.
- 1:40:59Speaker 4: Robert Whitaker and Nikita Kryloff is good too. Man. Robert
- 1:41:03Speaker 4: is going from one seventy to eighty five to now
- 1:41:05Speaker 4: light heavyweight. Isn't that crazy? And he's not He's not
- 1:41:09Speaker 4: that big, not that big. No, is he like six
- 1:41:11Speaker 4: feet short? Not even no six? How doll is Robert
- 1:41:16Speaker 4: six feet tall? Yeah? Six? So he's uh, I mean
- 1:41:19Speaker 4: he's a thick fella. Yeah, definitely got to be walking
- 1:41:23Speaker 4: around at like two thirty or something like that. But
- 1:41:25Speaker 4: these guys are so tall and so rangy, and that
- 1:41:29Speaker 4: fucking Nikita Kryloff guy can kick.
- 1:41:31Speaker 5: Yeah, he's a legit two five too.
- 1:41:34Speaker 4: He's Cody still lighting up YEARI in that fight before
- 1:41:37Speaker 4: he got caught, remember, Yeah he was lighting year Yeah
- 1:41:41Speaker 4: for sure. Yeah, Cody I don't think it's time to
- 1:41:46Speaker 4: Cody Asian yanyas man. He went through a bad streak too,
- 1:41:50Speaker 4: But that dude's very skillful, very good boxer. Yeah, he
- 1:41:54Speaker 4: looked doing too.
- 1:41:56Speaker 5: What is this thing on his eye? Angry that he's
- 1:41:58Speaker 5: good looking?
- 1:41:59Speaker 4: Yanya is he's got a doctor it up? The kids
- 1:42:03Speaker 4: these days they like face tattoos. He's Yana has four
- 1:42:06Speaker 4: point fifty favorites.
- 1:42:08Speaker 5: I'm saying, like he's just been too many times, too
- 1:42:13Speaker 5: many times.
- 1:42:14Speaker 4: What's an age thing too? I mean, Cody's not actually
- 1:42:17Speaker 4: that old. I think he's only like thirty three. How
- 1:42:21Speaker 4: old is Cody Garbrant thirty three?
- 1:42:23Speaker 2: No, he's got to be older than me.
- 1:42:24Speaker 4: I don't think he's old. No, I don't think he's old.
- 1:42:27Speaker 4: I think he started his career thirty thirty four. Oh
- 1:42:29Speaker 4: my god. Yeah see, I think he started his career
- 1:42:31Speaker 4: really young. Dude, July seventh week, next week.
- 1:42:36Speaker 5: Max started was what nineteen? This guy's still bright.
- 1:42:39Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, you know, when I interviewed them for the
- 1:42:41Speaker 4: UFC at the White House, which is the most ridiculous
- 1:42:43Speaker 4: thing in the world. I'm sitting there in this batless,
- 1:42:46Speaker 4: like beautiful adorned room with like gold on the ceiling
- 1:42:50Speaker 4: and shit like that, and on a chair with a
- 1:42:52Speaker 4: camera in front of me. And then there's a monitor
- 1:42:54Speaker 4: here that's Connor, as a monitor there that's Max and
- 1:42:58Speaker 4: they're arguing with each other.
- 1:42:59Speaker 2: You don't lay a glove on me.
- 1:43:01Speaker 4: It was It was crazy to see the two of
- 1:43:08Speaker 4: them going back and forth. Is fun seeing Connor come back. Man,
- 1:43:13Speaker 4: I know he cracked me up. Man, he was cracking
- 1:43:17Speaker 4: me up.
- 1:43:17Speaker 2: I can't wait week.
- 1:43:19Speaker 4: It's gonna be amazing. Yeah. Look, I hope he looks great.
- 1:43:21Speaker 4: I hope it's a good fight. But you know, it's
- 1:43:24Speaker 4: a tall order to take on Max Holloway after he
- 1:43:26Speaker 4: was just the BMF champion he beat Dustin Poier. Yeah
- 1:43:29Speaker 4: he lost to Ilia, but like you look at the
- 1:43:31Speaker 4: wins that that guy's had in his career and how
- 1:43:34Speaker 4: he's looked since their first fight. Is a totally different
- 1:43:37Speaker 4: human being. This is a world champion, like one of
- 1:43:40Speaker 4: the all time featherweight greats.
- 1:43:43Speaker 2: I think if Connor don't knock him out early, he's
- 1:43:45Speaker 2: in for a long night.
- 1:43:46Speaker 4: Yeah, maxkin fight with no weight cut. No, we never
- 1:43:51Speaker 4: get tired.
- 1:43:51Speaker 2: People are saying like, oh yeah, but what about moving up?
- 1:43:53Speaker 2: I'm like, that's great for him, he don't have to cut,
- 1:43:55Speaker 2: no way.
- 1:43:56Speaker 4: For him, it's great for both of them. Listen, this
- 1:43:58Speaker 4: is the future. I would hope. I would hope guys
- 1:44:01Speaker 4: would abandon weight cutting. I really do. And I think
- 1:44:03Speaker 4: the UFC should accommodated by letting go of these ridiculous
- 1:44:07Speaker 4: weight limits. Let's just find out what guy's way. Let's
- 1:44:10Speaker 4: find out what guy's way and like have them fight.
- 1:44:15Speaker 2: Does one still do that? I mean that was the
- 1:44:17Speaker 2: way to go, like a year and then like this
- 1:44:20Speaker 2: is where you're going to fight.
- 1:44:21Speaker 4: If I would run things like one, because they also
- 1:44:23Speaker 4: allow steroids, allegedly, I might have just made I don't
- 1:44:26Speaker 4: want to get slandered. I don't want to get sued.
- 1:44:29Speaker 4: I don't think they did. They have I think they
- 1:44:30Speaker 4: have drug tests at one. I think it's like a
- 1:44:32Speaker 4: multiple choice and multiple I want guys to take I
- 1:44:39Speaker 4: want them to take peptides. I want them to take
- 1:44:42Speaker 4: everything they have. I want to give them a hyperbaric chamber,
- 1:44:44Speaker 4: like let's go and then just release them, release the hounds.
- 1:44:48Speaker 4: I want the best fighting that's humanly available, the old Yeah,
- 1:44:52Speaker 4: that's exactly what it is. I want to enhance games
- 1:44:55Speaker 4: m M A bout yes, But with Connor and Max,
- 1:44:59Speaker 4: one guy. Even his prime, con has always showed signs,
- 1:45:02Speaker 4: shown signs that you know, his endurance was never the best.
- 1:45:06Speaker 4: He's a sprinter and Max is man.
- 1:45:10Speaker 6: He's the guy in the last round thirty's winning a
- 1:45:12Speaker 6: fight thirty point, he's fresh.
- 1:45:16Speaker 4: Fifth round is as good as his first. Max Is
- 1:45:19Speaker 4: discipline is beyond compare. Like that motherfucker trains hard. You
- 1:45:24Speaker 4: might train just as hard, but ain't harder. I think
- 1:45:28Speaker 4: Dan harder.
- 1:45:29Speaker 5: The craziest one was when he put it on Calvin
- 1:45:32Speaker 5: Cater and he was, yeah, we were there, we were.
- 1:45:35Speaker 4: The best time. They were so crazy.
- 1:45:38Speaker 6: He's watching that cage side and I him looking away
- 1:45:42Speaker 6: talking and hitting him.
- 1:45:44Speaker 4: Was just something. Bro. How about Brian Ortega when he
- 1:45:46Speaker 4: was fighting him, showing him how to keep his hand,
- 1:45:50Speaker 4: He grabs him, grabs his hand and puts it by
- 1:45:52Speaker 4: his head to no, dude like this, he can block
- 1:45:55Speaker 4: it and then pops some of the jab again. Bro.
- 1:45:58Speaker 4: Max always a bad motherfucker. And you know, I think
- 1:46:02Speaker 4: it's going to be interesting to see. Look, Connor in
- 1:46:04Speaker 4: his prime was elite Connor Eddie Alvarez, If is that
- 1:46:08Speaker 4: Connor right? Now fight Max, I'd be like, holy shit,
- 1:46:10Speaker 4: Yeah that's that's that's different. But can he regain that
- 1:46:14Speaker 4: for him?
- 1:46:14Speaker 10: Right?
- 1:46:15Speaker 4: We don't know. I mean, he's a special dude. Look
- 1:46:17Speaker 4: at this, just Pop talking ship to him.
- 1:46:23Speaker 2: Dana was Dana was losing his mind over there.
- 1:46:25Speaker 11: Yeah, there's also COVID so you could kind of hear him.
- 1:46:28Speaker 4: Yeah, look at that. Look at that, right at it?
- 1:46:31Speaker 5: He even looking at it, slipping ship.
- 1:46:34Speaker 4: I'm the best boxer in the UFC. Look at this, bro.
- 1:46:37Speaker 4: He's such a bad motherfucker man. And if he starts
- 1:46:40Speaker 4: talking to Connor like that in the middle of the
- 1:46:42Speaker 4: fight and teeing off on him, if Connor gets tired,
- 1:46:45Speaker 4: it could get rough. Look at his last fight with Dustin.
- 1:46:48Speaker 4: The difference is Connor. I don't give a fuck if
- 1:46:51Speaker 4: he's thirty nine. I don't care how old he is.
- 1:46:53Speaker 4: That dude's got the touch. He's got the touch of death.
- 1:46:56Speaker 4: And he's very accurate, and he's accurate, and he's fat
- 1:47:00Speaker 4: as fuck. And when he's sprinting, when he's sprinting, he
- 1:47:03Speaker 4: moves quicker than anybody. And it's like, you can't do
- 1:47:06Speaker 4: that for five rounds. But if he does it and cracks.
- 1:47:08Speaker 4: You you're in you're on Foxville. Look what he did
- 1:47:11Speaker 4: to Aldo? Little Fock's ever done that to Aldo? That's
- 1:47:15Speaker 4: the touch.
- 1:47:16Speaker 2: Do you think there's any chance that Connor wrestles him.
- 1:47:18Speaker 2: I think Connor might try to wrestle him a little bit.
- 1:47:20Speaker 4: So Nate said, because he wanted to turn into maybe
- 1:47:24Speaker 4: maybe looking at that and then maybe I.
- 1:47:27Speaker 5: Don't see that. Well, I thing Max has got to
- 1:47:29Speaker 5: put it on him a little bit and then he'll shoot.
- 1:47:30Speaker 5: Because he's not in it for war.
- 1:47:32Speaker 4: That's gonna get him even more tired. He did in
- 1:47:34Speaker 4: his first fight he wrestled. We say he's not in
- 1:47:36Speaker 4: it for war, but he can surprise us man like
- 1:47:39Speaker 4: you know, the humiliation of losing that second fight to
- 1:47:41Speaker 4: Dustin with a broken leg and sitting there and having
- 1:47:44Speaker 4: to go out for all the Who knows how he
- 1:47:46Speaker 4: responded to that. Obviously he did a lot of parting.
- 1:47:49Speaker 4: We don't know what kind of training, you know, And
- 1:47:52Speaker 4: if he really is still the Connor McGregor that had
- 1:47:55Speaker 4: something to prove when he entered into the UFC, and
- 1:47:57Speaker 4: he can get himself into that mindset and get through
- 1:48:00Speaker 4: camp with that mindset, who knows, man, I mean he
- 1:48:03Speaker 4: He definitely looked focused as fuck when I was talking
- 1:48:06Speaker 4: to him in the interview. It doesn't really mean anything
- 1:48:09Speaker 4: until you actually see him move around. But if he
- 1:48:11Speaker 4: really prepared himself correctly, he wants to make a stand
- 1:48:14Speaker 4: lane and show that he could still do it. This
- 1:48:16Speaker 4: might get wild.
- 1:48:17Speaker 6: But if that's the strategy, fuck man, if he's worried
- 1:48:20Speaker 6: about his endurance already or if that's a question. If
- 1:48:23Speaker 6: that's the strategy, it's not like he's gonna take him
- 1:48:26Speaker 6: down and just smoke him.
- 1:48:27Speaker 4: Max's got he hasn't round. I would like to talk
- 1:48:35Speaker 4: to Kavanaugh and see what was the plan, like how
- 1:48:38Speaker 4: did what did you guys do? How long was the camp?
- 1:48:40Speaker 4: Like how did it start the camp? Yeah?
- 1:48:44Speaker 3: So I had talked to Laura Sanko who interviewed Kavanaugh okay,
- 1:48:47Speaker 3: and she said that he wouldn't say it, but.
- 1:48:50Speaker 4: He kind of alluded to that wrestling might be a
- 1:48:53Speaker 4: part of the game plan. Well that might be a ruse. Yeah,
- 1:48:56Speaker 4: that might be the lure. Because the way that Charles
- 1:48:59Speaker 4: hand old Max in the last fight was crazy. But
- 1:49:02Speaker 4: also that's charge.
- 1:49:05Speaker 5: Everybody else took Max down like that is a monster Charles,
- 1:49:10Speaker 5: he's so good on the ground.
- 1:49:11Speaker 4: Man Max had to survive some ship that other people
- 1:49:15Speaker 4: would have tapped and Peers was crazy. Islam smushed him.
- 1:49:20Speaker 4: I know, right right, there's crazy levels to this sport.
- 1:49:26Speaker 4: Islam smushed him. He mush. He was tapping like immediately
- 1:49:32Speaker 4: he was like, yeah, yeah, I ain't getting out of this.
- 1:49:34Speaker 4: I'm going night night. That's how good he is. I mean,
- 1:49:37Speaker 4: his his squeak when he got Drew dober in half
- 1:49:40Speaker 4: guard arm triangle from half guard is like just Dan
- 1:49:43Speaker 4: half guard here.
- 1:49:45Speaker 2: Yeah, this is just smush.
- 1:49:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:49:46Speaker 4: Pressure, just pressure is fucking phenomenal, incredible squeeze, Like he
- 1:49:51Speaker 4: just cuts off the blood like there's nothing you could
- 1:49:53Speaker 4: do about it. That forearm grip dars that he uses.
- 1:49:56Speaker 4: Do you funk with that?
- 1:49:57Speaker 2: I don't mess with that, but I know how powerful
- 1:49:59Speaker 2: it is.
- 1:50:00Speaker 4: Do you fuck with it? Matt? That was never my
- 1:50:02Speaker 4: thingy because armed these are great for some things, but
- 1:50:11Speaker 4: not for.
- 1:50:13Speaker 2: Because like all you have to do is grip here.
- 1:50:15Speaker 4: Yeah. I never tried it though, but I did used
- 1:50:17Speaker 4: to like the Japanese necktie for the same reason, because
- 1:50:20Speaker 4: the Japanese necktie when you're funneling under for when you
- 1:50:23Speaker 4: go for that underhook on the left arm and you
- 1:50:24Speaker 4: get it behind the head. You cinch down like this,
- 1:50:27Speaker 4: and then instead of trying to go all the way
- 1:50:29Speaker 4: through and since it up as a doors, you take
- 1:50:32Speaker 4: it from this position with this lever on the back
- 1:50:34Speaker 4: of the neck and you tuck the neck into your
- 1:50:36Speaker 4: chest and then you grab a leg. You grab a
- 1:50:39Speaker 4: leg and you do this. You lean on this shoulder
- 1:50:41Speaker 4: so you once you sinch it up. As soon as
- 1:50:44Speaker 4: you get this forearm behind the neck, the first thing
- 1:50:46Speaker 4: to do is you put your left shoulder to the mat.
- 1:50:48Speaker 4: So your left shoulder you drop down the mat. And
- 1:50:50Speaker 4: usually they think they're going to spin out of it,
- 1:50:52Speaker 4: but you're trapping the headhoulder. There's a video of me.
- 1:50:56Speaker 4: There's a video of me showing it to TJ. Dillashaw.
- 1:51:00Speaker 4: We're we're at the on it headquarters and I'm showing it.
- 1:51:02Speaker 4: I'm to do it. It's great for short arm. No,
- 1:51:05Speaker 4: you're on the dark position right, So he's.
- 1:51:07Speaker 5: Got the underhook.
- 1:51:08Speaker 4: You funnel on it. You get it behind the head.
- 1:51:10Speaker 4: Once you get it behind the head, you use this lever.
- 1:51:12Speaker 4: You pin that down on the neck and the first
- 1:51:14Speaker 4: thing I want to do is put my left shoulder
- 1:51:16Speaker 4: over on the top. So here, oh here, it is,
- 1:51:18Speaker 4: so here, it is so once you get to this
- 1:51:20Speaker 4: position and you climp, I want to put my shoulder down,
- 1:51:24Speaker 4: and then his head is trapped. Is that a neck crank?
- 1:51:30Speaker 4: It's horrible. You hipping in, Yes, and you usually grab
- 1:51:33Speaker 4: a hold of a leg.
- 1:51:34Speaker 5: They can just step erwards right.
- 1:51:36Speaker 4: There, Jamie, back it up to where I'm showing it
- 1:51:37Speaker 4: to him, and then I talk through it. Back it
- 1:51:40Speaker 4: up a little bit. Yeah, there it is. Give me
- 1:51:42Speaker 4: some volume. I'm going on my left shoulder.
- 1:51:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:51:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm going on my left shoulder. Yeah, all the
- 1:51:56Speaker 4: way side.
- 1:51:58Speaker 3: So you're hoping to, like even before you fall down,
- 1:52:01Speaker 3: to immediately get it exactly.
- 1:52:05Speaker 4: So as soon as I sinch my hands together, I'm
- 1:52:07Speaker 4: hooking a leg. I want to tie them up. I
- 1:52:09Speaker 4: want to tie them up, and I want to get
- 1:52:10Speaker 4: him in a position where things going to roll out
- 1:52:12Speaker 4: of it like you will with the dars. You can't
- 1:52:14Speaker 4: exactly because I also because I'm trapping your head in
- 1:52:16Speaker 4: my chest. So you're you're just worried about me getting this,
- 1:52:19Speaker 4: but I'm not even trying to get that. I'm just
- 1:52:20Speaker 4: getting to this. GI's the volume right here, dude, that's a.
- 1:52:29Speaker 2: Would you get it?
- 1:52:34Speaker 4: See people like when they put their legs in there.
- 1:52:36Speaker 4: That's what he was just saying. That's why it's like
- 1:52:38Speaker 4: it's really good that cranks that. Yeah, yeah, there's more.
- 1:52:49Speaker 4: You very rarely see this in the UFC, and it's
- 1:52:51Speaker 4: available too, because also the gloves they get in the
- 1:52:54Speaker 4: way of certain chokes, like definitely rare naked chokes. It's
- 1:52:56Speaker 4: so hard to get the hand in the proper position
- 1:52:58Speaker 4: with the back of the hand on the head.
- 1:53:00Speaker 5: Does it matter which leg you step over like he
- 1:53:02Speaker 5: stepped over the first, you stepped over the far leg.
- 1:53:05Speaker 4: With the far leg's better, you get better control, But
- 1:53:07Speaker 4: it doesn't matter as long as you can tie him
- 1:53:08Speaker 4: up and trap his head inside your chest. So once
- 1:53:12Speaker 4: the heads in the chest, you're in a terrible position
- 1:53:14Speaker 4: to defend because it puts your head of this nasty angle,
- 1:53:17Speaker 4: like the moment your head gets to that angle. So
- 1:53:19Speaker 4: TJ showing like one of the ways that he does
- 1:53:21Speaker 4: it is different from you. He's trying a different grip.
- 1:53:27Speaker 4: I like my grip better. Well it's not my grip,
- 1:53:29Speaker 4: it's Eddie Bravo's grip, but I like the grip better
- 1:53:31Speaker 4: because you got the lever. So the thing is about
- 1:53:33Speaker 4: having it go through this lever. When you get this
- 1:53:36Speaker 4: forum on the back of the neck, that's a lot
- 1:53:38Speaker 4: of power. There's a lot of power that way. So
- 1:53:41Speaker 4: if you see how I'm doing I'm doing it like
- 1:53:43Speaker 4: a little bit.
- 1:53:44Speaker 5: With yours too.
- 1:53:45Speaker 4: You were You're all on his on his head and neck.
- 1:53:47Speaker 4: TJ is crazily So he did it that way now
- 1:53:50Speaker 4: like in that that time. Now he's doing it the
- 1:53:52Speaker 4: right way. That's that's nasty. And then once it gets
- 1:53:55Speaker 4: in the chest, yep, trap the leg. You can trap
- 1:53:57Speaker 4: either leg. It's the whole thing is just trapping the head.
- 1:54:00Speaker 4: You just want to make sure you have contact with
- 1:54:01Speaker 4: his body so his left legs or his legs rather
- 1:54:04Speaker 4: can't spin out. You don't want I'm spinning out because
- 1:54:06Speaker 4: then his head's gonna get free. It's nasty, but it's
- 1:54:10Speaker 4: just I don't see it in m M A. And
- 1:54:12Speaker 4: I don't know why, because it's available when guys are
- 1:54:15Speaker 4: trying to get the dars and they can't get it.
- 1:54:17Speaker 4: Like there's a lot of times the legs are tangled
- 1:54:18Speaker 4: up and it's it's horrible because you have this level.
- 1:54:22Speaker 4: You remember when Kadbe taped Connor and everybody's like, oh,
- 1:54:25Speaker 4: you didn't even there wasn't even in the he was
- 1:54:28Speaker 4: doing that same ship, but he was doing across the
- 1:54:30Speaker 4: neck on the back. It's horrible. It's going to break
- 1:54:33Speaker 4: your neck, man, and that's what that feels like. But
- 1:54:35Speaker 4: that's even worse because it's sideways.
- 1:54:38Speaker 5: And you got your body on it.
- 1:54:39Speaker 4: Yeah. But the worst that I've never seen in the
- 1:54:42Speaker 4: UFC is the executioner. I don't think I've ever seen
- 1:54:45Speaker 4: anybody get that rear that. You know, you're in the
- 1:54:48Speaker 4: back mount and you reach over, you go giy from this.
- 1:54:53Speaker 4: That the other day, well that was the Scottish Scottish swister, scottishwist.
- 1:54:59Speaker 4: That's different, Scotish Scots different, Scottish twitter swister is a
- 1:55:02Speaker 4: little different. It's still nasty as fuck. That's the leaning
- 1:55:05Speaker 4: back n Yeah. Yeah, it's horrible in your nave attacks
- 1:55:09Speaker 4: the spine and the horrible. The executioner's the worst, yeah,
- 1:55:15Speaker 4: because you're you've got rear naked hooks and you've got
- 1:55:18Speaker 4: the head back this far man. You're going like that's nuts,
- 1:55:22Speaker 4: that's nuts. Yeah. Now that's a catch wrestling thing, right
- 1:55:28Speaker 4: that I don't know, man, that sort of started popping
- 1:55:31Speaker 4: up at a tenth planet at least like in the
- 1:55:34Speaker 4: two thousands, like two thousand and three or four. So
- 1:55:36Speaker 4: Epstein likes to call it the ebxecutioner, but he wasn't
- 1:55:39Speaker 4: the only guy doing it, like other guys had figured
- 1:55:41Speaker 4: it out. So you're in North South, which a lot
- 1:55:43Speaker 4: of guys you know that was back in the North. God, yeah,
- 1:55:46Speaker 4: this is it right here, bro, This is holy hell.
- 1:55:50Speaker 4: When you're in rear naked choked position but you have
- 1:55:53Speaker 4: the the the arm wrapped like that, the amount of
- 1:55:56Speaker 4: pressure on the spine is just crazy. It's you comparalye
- 1:56:04Speaker 4: Long Island, knucklehead. They'll be fucking waiver on that. But
- 1:56:09Speaker 4: look at how nasty this is. Like, it's such a
- 1:56:11Speaker 4: bad position to try to defend. You have no strength
- 1:56:14Speaker 4: to defend it. Yeah, that's a rat hell, that's all.
- 1:56:18Speaker 4: And I don't see it in the UFC, And I
- 1:56:19Speaker 4: don't understand why I think it's available. I think some
- 1:56:23Speaker 4: guys could get this. I mean not always, but there's
- 1:56:27Speaker 4: a lot of times you're trying to fight the rear
- 1:56:28Speaker 4: naked choke or that you're trying to get the renickead
- 1:56:31Speaker 4: tchuck with the guys defending, and if you switch to
- 1:56:33Speaker 4: something like this, if you could find a way to
- 1:56:35Speaker 4: get into a position like this, you're not going to
- 1:56:37Speaker 4: defend that man.
- 1:56:38Speaker 3: Well, the truth is that a lot of guys in
- 1:56:40Speaker 3: the UFC or an MMA in general don't really practice
- 1:56:44Speaker 3: jiu jitsu from that standpoint.
- 1:56:45Speaker 4: They do anti jiu jitsu because they think that their
- 1:56:48Speaker 4: chances of.
- 1:56:48Speaker 2: Winning a fight on their feet are better.
- 1:56:50Speaker 3: So their idea is just like defend it, takedown and
- 1:56:52Speaker 3: get back to my feet, or just use basic jiu jitsu.
- 1:56:55Speaker 3: So like stuff like this, it's available to them. They
- 1:56:57Speaker 3: don't know it or they don't practice it enough for
- 1:57:00Speaker 3: be instinctive for them to do it.
- 1:57:02Speaker 4: The fact that they're just trying to get up to
- 1:57:03Speaker 4: defeats the first problem. Yeah, that's it.
- 1:57:06Speaker 6: Yeah, because look at Gilbert Burns Versusdamian Maya match us
- 1:57:11Speaker 6: jiu jitsu a little bit, then he finds the opening.
- 1:57:13Speaker 6: If he doesn't match the jiu jitsu, he'll use that.
- 1:57:15Speaker 6: But then he hass to move a certain way gives
- 1:57:17Speaker 6: enough space to get to his feet.
- 1:57:18Speaker 4: God, I gotta remember this guy's name, the guy who's
- 1:57:21Speaker 4: the bellator champion is from Ukraine who's fighting in the UFCON.
- 1:57:25Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're a slav A myself, I knew
- 1:57:29Speaker 3: that was the name, and I didn't want to suck
- 1:57:30Speaker 3: it up, and I was panicking.
- 1:57:32Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not easy to but you know what, I
- 1:57:35Speaker 4: really panic way in days. You look in my face?
- 1:57:39Speaker 5: Are you really hot?
- 1:57:40Speaker 4: Pack? Feeling for you?
- 1:57:41Speaker 2: Sometimes stuff like that, he's gonna forget the name. You
- 1:57:44Speaker 2: don't bring the paper.
- 1:57:47Speaker 4: Paper I do have to you only don't have to
- 1:57:50Speaker 4: listen to these fucking names over and over again, fucking.
- 1:57:53Speaker 2: Some of the chis and you know, and and it
- 1:57:58Speaker 2: gonna be mad at you if you mess it up.
- 1:58:00Speaker 4: I don't know how he should be doing it. I
- 1:58:02Speaker 4: should give the microhon name still introduced. I'll just interview people.
- 1:58:06Speaker 4: He's the best at naming the names. I do that
- 1:58:08Speaker 4: on filtered. I go heit, Jimmy, who do we have
- 1:58:10Speaker 4: Nexton's a fucking crazy name. I just get the first
- 1:58:14Speaker 4: name down. Your good. He's good, he's good. His ground
- 1:58:18Speaker 4: game is so sweet. Which show you have to pull
- 1:58:24Speaker 4: up his last fight he beat Joe. Yeah, but back
- 1:58:30Speaker 4: it up a little bit so you can see the takedown.
- 1:58:31Speaker 4: Watch how he does this Look at how beautiful this is.
- 1:58:34Speaker 4: Bro the right into arm triangle. Look at this bro
- 1:58:39Speaker 4: and then he goes needed to just crushing him.
- 1:58:43Speaker 2: Did you see his setup for uh Neil Magni.
- 1:58:46Speaker 4: Yeah, man, he's he's smooth, smooth, he's smooth.
- 1:58:50Speaker 5: He put it on Neil.
- 1:58:51Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, and then he breaks down. Gotta have something. Actually,
- 1:58:57Speaker 4: look at that man a little pretty good. Yeah, that
- 1:59:00Speaker 4: guy can move and that guy is really good. He's dangerous.
- 1:59:04Speaker 4: Old Sean Alvaz, he would be doing the windmill. He
- 1:59:07Speaker 4: has one ko loss. What that was Jason Jackson Jackson.
- 1:59:11Speaker 2: Jason Jackson knocked him out.
- 1:59:12Speaker 4: He just put it on him.
- 1:59:13Speaker 2: Jason Jackson just just murdered him, just like ran across.
- 1:59:17Speaker 4: And beat him up. Yeah. I was talking to Big
- 1:59:19Speaker 4: John and Josh Thompson on the podcast. They brought him
- 1:59:22Speaker 4: up like that. He's like the most unheralded, the most
- 1:59:26Speaker 4: underappreciated of the guys that are out there. Jason Jackson. Yeah,
- 1:59:30Speaker 4: So that's the problem when you're not in the UFC,
- 1:59:32Speaker 4: that is, and if the uf he picks him up,
- 1:59:34Speaker 4: I mean, it's gonna be kind of late to.
- 1:59:36Speaker 11: Dig through the rubble of his house to get it.
- 1:59:38Speaker 5: Holy ship.
- 1:59:39Speaker 4: Geez, that's nuts, man, that's crazy. That's nuts.
- 1:59:44Speaker 5: Put in perspective real fast.
- 1:59:46Speaker 4: Holy shit, dude, how bad did he want that belt?
- 1:59:50Speaker 4: For real? Right? I mean his dude went back to
- 1:59:52Speaker 4: a war zone and get his belt all christ imagine
- 1:59:57Speaker 4: as a UFC belt.
- 2:00:00Speaker 2: I don't love that mofucking air.
- 2:00:01Speaker 4: That's the fucking dude's good man. There's so many good
- 2:00:05Speaker 4: guys now, it's crazy. It's just a it's a wild
- 2:00:08Speaker 4: time for the sport man.
- 2:00:09Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I like Big John.
- 2:00:13Speaker 4: You know one thing I don't like that he does.
- 2:00:16Speaker 4: It always irks me. Big Joe McCarthey. I like I
- 2:00:19Speaker 4: won the title.
- 2:00:20Speaker 2: He was my guy, but uh, I hate this.
- 2:00:24Speaker 4: Man.
- 2:00:26Speaker 2: As you fucking savages know.
- 2:00:28Speaker 4: When you're in there, you're in a certain mindset.
- 2:00:30Speaker 2: Right, you got a guy looking to do bodily harm
- 2:00:33Speaker 2: to you.
- 2:00:33Speaker 6: You're looking to take him out anyway possible if there's
- 2:00:37Speaker 6: a foul or something.
- 2:00:39Speaker 4: Now you're in this mindset.
- 2:00:41Speaker 2: So now you got this big fucking guy.
- 2:00:44Speaker 4: Hey, what do you see? You see?
- 2:00:46Speaker 2: Ugly making John?
- 2:00:50Speaker 6: Yeah, oh yeah, okay, I want to go back to
- 2:00:53Speaker 6: this guy trying to kill me, Big good one, Big John.
- 2:00:58Speaker 6: You know what you're like a man jokes today. How
- 2:01:01Speaker 6: about this, how I just go to the mother ship
- 2:01:07Speaker 6: the hat you take the name out and maybe you
- 2:01:10Speaker 6: could use that on kill Tony like that ship fun
- 2:01:16Speaker 6: that every time he does it, there's something in me
- 2:01:19Speaker 6: that makes me just be like, dude, is it about you?
- 2:01:22Speaker 4: That's the fun? The matter? A good one, big John.
- 2:01:25Speaker 4: Oh and you see it guy's.
- 2:01:27Speaker 6: Doing sometimes you see the guys go oh yeah, all right, dude,
- 2:01:31Speaker 6: funk that. It's the same as it's the same as
- 2:01:34Speaker 6: the guy looking to give you a high five out there.
- 2:01:36Speaker 2: Funk that dude. So I mean, I don't know, man,
- 2:01:40Speaker 2: it always irked me.
- 2:01:42Speaker 4: And it just stuck out when his name came up.
- 2:01:44Speaker 4: And he's not a big guy, he's a great guy.
- 2:01:47Speaker 2: But how about this, now that you're back reughing, make
- 2:01:51Speaker 2: a note of that?
- 2:01:51Speaker 4: Man, Yeah, I can age that would with your head right,
- 2:01:58Speaker 4: and'd be like, man, make me listen to that. God, damn,
- 2:02:02Speaker 4: I just got poked, you see, ugly bro. I think
- 2:02:07Speaker 4: they're getting a little bit better about warning people for fowls,
- 2:02:10Speaker 4: but not better about taking points. They did for a
- 2:02:13Speaker 4: little while and wait one and everybody's like crowd cheered
- 2:02:20Speaker 4: that's how it's got to be, folks. That's the new rule.
- 2:02:22Speaker 4: The new rule should be, I poke one point, don't
- 2:02:26Speaker 4: poke eyes. You do this ship and you jab someone
- 2:02:28Speaker 4: in the eyes one point, well, yeah, one point right away,
- 2:02:31Speaker 4: you know not to do it. Sometimes it happens. Unfortunately,
- 2:02:34Speaker 4: it happens, you get a point taken away. Don't let
- 2:02:36Speaker 4: it happen, and you go back to your corner and
- 2:02:37Speaker 4: go make sure you don't do that again. Nut shot
- 2:02:40Speaker 4: one point, unintentional, nun shot. It's a warning, like because
- 2:02:45Speaker 4: you could kick. While I'm kicking. You weren't trying to
- 2:02:48Speaker 4: hit me in the nuts. We just collided legs. That
- 2:02:50Speaker 4: happens all the time. The rough one is the call.
- 2:02:53Speaker 6: The call is the back of the head when you're
- 2:02:55Speaker 6: trying to put a guy away because he's moving his head.
- 2:02:59Speaker 4: It's hard. That's hard. It's kind that's hard.
- 2:03:02Speaker 3: And that spot is a lot smaller than what most
- 2:03:05Speaker 3: people think because we because we we think about it.
- 2:03:07Speaker 2: They just ate the back of the head, so you're
- 2:03:09Speaker 2: assuming that it's like anything.
- 2:03:11Speaker 4: It's like a little small crazy though, you kind of
- 2:03:15Speaker 4: should be able to hit the.
- 2:03:15Speaker 2: Back of that if everybody had the oda. Osbourne haadcut
- 2:03:19Speaker 2: it'd be okay.
- 2:03:23Speaker 4: H Do you remember when Henso fought what was his name, Rikers,
- 2:03:28Speaker 4: ben Kers, spikers, spiders, spikers, and it showed if you're
- 2:03:34Speaker 4: allowed to elbow the back of the head the rear
- 2:03:36Speaker 4: mount b when Henzo was dropping bombs on him and
- 2:03:43Speaker 4: then stepped on that door and put away put in
- 2:03:45Speaker 4: the sleep with his jacket. Remember it was a beating
- 2:03:49Speaker 4: he gave him before he choked him to sleep, beating
- 2:03:52Speaker 4: in the back hole in my fucking room all night long.
- 2:03:54Speaker 4: The guy was the guy was prick before.
- 2:03:57Speaker 5: Yeah he did what he Oh yeah, he was call
- 2:04:00Speaker 5: in his fucking room trying to wake him up, like
- 2:04:02Speaker 5: had his people harassing Hens. He was a dick hen.
- 2:04:06Speaker 6: Him and he said, oh you have not You have
- 2:04:09Speaker 6: eyes like my my girlfriend. But they're prettier some fucking
- 2:04:13Speaker 6: so right. Hens is one of those guys that he
- 2:04:15Speaker 6: can go from a smile to a fucking bow and
- 2:04:19Speaker 6: about the.
- 2:04:20Speaker 4: Zero to one hundred real quick. Well, and you know,
- 2:04:23Speaker 4: only if you're a dick, you're not. He's the nicest.
- 2:04:28Speaker 4: That position just shows you if you're allowed to do that. Yeah,
- 2:04:31Speaker 4: this is the show before that. Watch what he does
- 2:04:33Speaker 4: before once to hear this once he gets them back
- 2:04:36Speaker 4: mount watched this, man. I mean, dude, that's a wrap.
- 2:04:42Speaker 4: You can only take imagine if that was in m
- 2:04:44Speaker 4: m A. Why now, here's the thing? Is that inherently dangerous?
- 2:04:50Speaker 4: Is it that much more dangerous?
- 2:04:51Speaker 2: I mean what we're doing is already dangerous, right, and.
- 2:04:54Speaker 4: It also is very effective. So are we removing a
- 2:04:57Speaker 4: very effective technique that would end fights? And if so,
- 2:05:00Speaker 4: are we doing it to protect the fighter? Because if
- 2:05:03Speaker 4: we are, why are we allowing a lot of other stuff?
- 2:05:05Speaker 4: Why are we allowing flying knees? Why are we allowing sidekicks?
- 2:05:10Speaker 4: Why we allowing wheel kicks to the head? Heels to the.
- 2:05:12Speaker 2: Head, smack him in the face again?
- 2:05:15Speaker 4: Yeah, hey, nice fight. I mean, there's a certain amount
- 2:05:23Speaker 4: of things that we already allow that are so bad
- 2:05:26Speaker 4: for you. It's like, why don't you allow a shot
- 2:05:28Speaker 4: to the back of the head. I need to explain
- 2:05:30Speaker 4: to me, like I'm a child, Like why is it
- 2:05:32Speaker 4: okay to slam your elbow full blast into someone's temple? Yeah,
- 2:05:37Speaker 4: but not this one. You could drive your elbow down
- 2:05:40Speaker 4: into their eye socket, that's okay, But the back of
- 2:05:44Speaker 4: the head is bad. But also the back of the
- 2:05:45Speaker 4: Head's fine if you knock someone out from the back
- 2:05:48Speaker 4: of the head and you didn't mean to like a
- 2:05:50Speaker 4: head kick, like how many headcakes wrap around at the
- 2:05:53Speaker 4: back of the head, wonder Boy and it's like a
- 2:05:55Speaker 4: UFC debut he goes over the shoulder, back of the
- 2:05:58Speaker 4: head out coold. Yeah, that ship always works the back
- 2:06:02Speaker 4: of the head brown kicks. That's a lot of times
- 2:06:04Speaker 4: where they land getting hit in the back of it
- 2:06:07Speaker 4: is a little different. How many times do like like Ernesto,
- 2:06:11Speaker 4: who's knocked dudes out with back of the head head
- 2:06:14Speaker 4: kicks in kickboxing all the time for sure. I think
- 2:06:18Speaker 4: that's how he knocked out Maurice Smith. I think he's
- 2:06:21Speaker 4: snucking around over the shoulder and hit him in the
- 2:06:23Speaker 4: back of the head.
- 2:06:25Speaker 5: I mean, I mean anatomy is going to dictate.
- 2:06:28Speaker 4: That that's that's what you're supposed to do. So that's legal.
- 2:06:32Speaker 4: No one says that's an illegal blow my over hands.
- 2:06:36Speaker 4: It's where they hit a lot I mean to do.
- 2:06:41Speaker 4: This is what is part of the sport right now.
- 2:06:43Speaker 4: If that's legal and you get okay, oh win. If
- 2:06:47Speaker 4: you head kick someone you land him in the back
- 2:06:49Speaker 4: of the head. That it's always happened. That's happened one
- 2:06:51Speaker 4: hundred times. I don't know. I mean it's weird. It is.
- 2:06:56Speaker 2: I mean it's weird because.
- 2:06:59Speaker 3: I mean then we now we're playing with all these
- 2:07:01Speaker 3: different rules and people don't like them, and it's just like,
- 2:07:03Speaker 3: but I mean, you got to draw a line somewhere,
- 2:07:05Speaker 3: I suppose.
- 2:07:06Speaker 4: But see if you can find Arnesto, who's uh Ko's
- 2:07:11Speaker 4: Maurice Smith? Less rules shows who's the better fighter, right,
- 2:07:18Speaker 4: But those there's some rules that I'm like, Okay, but
- 2:07:20Speaker 4: now you're getting an unrealistic understanding of a position, like
- 2:07:25Speaker 4: when someone's in a turtle and you can't need that.
- 2:07:27Speaker 3: Yeah, to me, that one should be eliminated right away.
- 2:07:30Speaker 3: You should be able to need a guy in ahead.
- 2:07:31Speaker 4: Watch this. Look at that ship there it is right
- 2:07:34Speaker 4: at the back of the hen ye. Watch that again?
- 2:07:37Speaker 4: Can you is it in slow motion? Is that what
- 2:07:39Speaker 4: it is? Watch? Watch how slick? This is crazy? Like
- 2:07:47Speaker 4: Billy Jack? Look at that brow yep? And you know
- 2:07:52Speaker 4: so if that happened in the UFC, everybody would cheer.
- 2:07:55Speaker 4: You couldn't say, hey, that's an illegal blow.
- 2:07:57Speaker 3: Right even though technic that's the spot where they can
- 2:08:01Speaker 3: constitute illegal blow Yeah, that's illegal.
- 2:08:04Speaker 4: Yeah, that's illegal. And wheel kicks happen like that all
- 2:08:06Speaker 4: the time, all the time because he's coming from that
- 2:08:08Speaker 4: angle from hipping around. The guy tries to duck under
- 2:08:11Speaker 4: hit him right in the back of the head, and
- 2:08:12Speaker 4: no one complains. Yeah it's weird. No one referee never
- 2:08:15Speaker 4: says stop. No striking in the back of the head
- 2:08:17Speaker 4: never happens.
- 2:08:18Speaker 3: Ever, it's only when they're like turning around and they're
- 2:08:22Speaker 3: throwing arm punches, which is the least.
- 2:08:25Speaker 2: Which is less powerful than a full kicked it ahead.
- 2:08:28Speaker 4: But the reality is if you were in that position
- 2:08:31Speaker 4: and the guy could throw elbows to the back of
- 2:08:33Speaker 4: the head, that would be a rap. In that same
- 2:08:35Speaker 4: position where you're on a guy's back and you're doing
- 2:08:38Speaker 4: this kind of ship instead if you're just back of
- 2:08:40Speaker 4: the head boom like Kenzo just.
- 2:08:43Speaker 2: To hey, man, what about headbuts right? Head butts not
- 2:08:48Speaker 2: even even standing up right like when I'm in a
- 2:08:51Speaker 2: It's good for sure, guys, I love you get your
- 2:08:55Speaker 2: head all day getting that.
- 2:08:58Speaker 4: Coleman would get in your guard and head butt the fuck.
- 2:09:02Speaker 4: And the only guy to solve that puzzle was Maurice Smith.
- 2:09:06Speaker 4: Maurice Smith was the first guy to solve that puzzle,
- 2:09:09Speaker 4: Cardio Cardio and defense off his back. Good Butterfly guard.
- 2:09:13Speaker 5: Mark Kerr murdered Fabio Garzell with head butts too.
- 2:09:16Speaker 4: Bro, head butts when you were on top is brutal. Yeah.
- 2:09:19Speaker 4: I was in that fight.
- 2:09:21Speaker 3: That was the first fight I ever went to. Really
- 2:09:22Speaker 3: UFC fight I ever went to is in Bourbon Game, Alabama.
- 2:09:25Speaker 4: Really, I was THEREA wow, Bro, that was a huge upset. Yeah.
- 2:09:28Speaker 4: I know neverybody I love. I was nervous.
- 2:09:33Speaker 2: I was in the crowd rooting for Maury Smith for
- 2:09:35Speaker 2: obvious reasons.
- 2:09:36Speaker 4: Well, I was friends.
- 2:09:39Speaker 2: And everybody, but I was the only one there Smith.
- 2:09:42Speaker 4: Yeah. I was friends with Maurice Morris came over my house,
- 2:09:45Speaker 4: worked out with him. I was cool with Mori guy.
- 2:09:47Speaker 4: So it was like I was sad. I was like,
- 2:09:49Speaker 4: oh my god, Maurice is gonna fight Mark. You're going
- 2:09:51Speaker 4: to get killed. I was like, he's two hundred and
- 2:09:52Speaker 4: sixty pounds, He's a wrestler. He takes everybody down. And
- 2:09:55Speaker 4: then when Maurice was leg kicking them, he said, come on, Mark,
- 2:09:58Speaker 4: ground me and pound me, ground me and pound me.
- 2:10:02Speaker 4: It was talking to him while he was doing it
- 2:10:04Speaker 4: and then when Mark moved towards me y Beckon, those
- 2:10:08Speaker 4: leg cakes were brutal to Maurice was the first guy
- 2:10:11Speaker 4: to bring like world class leg kicks to the uf C.
- 2:10:15Speaker 4: World class the Lions. Then guy actually Petro Yeah, yeah,
- 2:10:21Speaker 4: he had sick like the Waions. Pete uh. I mean.
- 2:10:29Speaker 12: William Williams knocked him out the head kickers. I think
- 2:10:34Speaker 12: Maurice beat him first. But Maurice beat him by decision, right,
- 2:10:38Speaker 12: wasn't in a five round decision. I think it was
- 2:10:40Speaker 12: a five round He just beat him out. Williams called
- 2:10:42Speaker 12: him with a kick.
- 2:10:43Speaker 4: Williams head kicks with shoes. That's what a crazy sport man.
- 2:10:51Speaker 4: I remember one of the first fights that I saw
- 2:10:54Speaker 4: was this Japanese dude and Valigi and the jack they
- 2:10:59Speaker 4: were grabbing each other is like underwear, like you could
- 2:11:01Speaker 4: hold up. It was giving him a wedgie. I think
- 2:11:03Speaker 4: the dute he was fighting like was literally grabbing his
- 2:11:05Speaker 4: shorts and like giving him a massive wedgie during the Yeah,
- 2:11:10Speaker 4: totally legal. It was totally legal in the UFC. It
- 2:11:13Speaker 4: was bare knuckle back then too. The first was bare knuckle.
- 2:11:17Speaker 4: That was ninety Sember. That v tour was the only
- 2:11:19Speaker 4: guy that had gloves of the first guy or Tank
- 2:11:22Speaker 4: the first guy to Tank was one of the first guys.
- 2:11:25Speaker 4: For sure. Tank might have been the first guy. I
- 2:11:27Speaker 4: believe he was the first guy, and then V Tour
- 2:11:29Speaker 4: wore him too. V Tour was, you know, bro nineteen
- 2:11:33Speaker 4: years old and Vi Tour first fought in the UFC.
- 2:11:35Speaker 4: It was a Tornado trade. Yeah ship, dude, I mean
- 2:11:44Speaker 4: on that motherfuck hunder Well not yet, he didn't. When
- 2:11:49Speaker 4: he first fought in the UFC only weigh two hundred pounds.
- 2:11:54Speaker 4: When he fought Trey Teligman, he won, weigh two hundred pounds.
- 2:11:57Speaker 4: Then he gained tons of weight and fought Randy And
- 2:12:00Speaker 4: when he fought Randy, he was like two forty and
- 2:12:02Speaker 4: that messed him up to he was too big.
- 2:12:05Speaker 5: Randy got cut in that one.
- 2:12:07Speaker 4: Remember, No, that was a different one that was in
- 2:12:09Speaker 4: the UFC later on. Yeah, so this was like, so
- 2:12:13Speaker 4: that is Trey Telegman and Trey Teligman. If you're watching this,
- 2:12:17Speaker 4: he has lost his check in his peck rather in
- 2:12:20Speaker 4: a car accident when he was a baby's crazy, Yeah crazy,
- 2:12:24Speaker 4: This is Brad Kohler. Yeah, this is a different fight.
- 2:12:28Speaker 4: What is going on here?
- 2:12:31Speaker 11: Japan nineteen ninety seven.
- 2:12:33Speaker 4: Oh yeah, but this is not that's not Japan ninety seven.
- 2:12:36Speaker 4: It's UFC twelve. Actually, Japan ninety seven was when Frank
- 2:12:40Speaker 4: Shamrock fought Kevin Jackson. Remember any armbar? Yeah, this was
- 2:12:45Speaker 4: pretty crazy. This is a different card. This ultimate Japan
- 2:12:49Speaker 4: ninety seven. UFC twelve is the fight. You remember the number. Yeah,
- 2:12:57Speaker 4: Bandy looks older there than he does now, peptids, it's
- 2:13:02Speaker 4: not It wasn't Japan though.
- 2:13:05Speaker 11: I was just heard you say something about Japan and
- 2:13:07Speaker 11: nice seven.
- 2:13:08Speaker 4: That's all I typed in. No, No, there's a Japanese fighter,
- 2:13:12Speaker 4: That's what I said. He fought beligid Ishmael. It was
- 2:13:16Speaker 4: either UFC twelve or UFC thirteen walid Ishmael UFC. If
- 2:13:22Speaker 4: you find that, you'll find it. And the dude was
- 2:13:24Speaker 4: giving him a super weggie. You were totally allowed to
- 2:13:29Speaker 4: grab shorts, punch guys in the nuts. Ye, punching Joe
- 2:13:33Speaker 4: Sad and his ball Ye remember that dude? What about
- 2:13:37Speaker 4: Gary Goodridge and the crucifix? So yeah, here is so here.
- 2:13:40Speaker 4: Just look what the dudes do. It done to Luigi's
- 2:13:42Speaker 4: pants all up the crack because the dude had a
- 2:13:47Speaker 4: hold of his shorts. I remember earlier in the.
- 2:13:50Speaker 5: Fight, rather be mackenzie.
- 2:13:52Speaker 4: He's given. But yeah, dude, here it is brow checked brow.
- 2:14:00Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 2:14:01Speaker 4: So this was my first UFC that I worked. Okay,
- 2:14:03Speaker 4: so look the Japanese guy has the gloves on as well,
- 2:14:06Speaker 4: so Vitor had him on.
- 2:14:07Speaker 2: But you're allowed to grab it back then.
- 2:14:11Speaker 4: Look at the Japanese guy has gloves. Vliegi's bare knuckle.
- 2:14:15Speaker 4: It's hilarious. Isn't that crazy?
- 2:14:17Speaker 5: He's really grabbing it, grabbing his nuts.
- 2:14:19Speaker 4: I think you could grab nuts.
- 2:14:21Speaker 2: Gotta be so uncomfortable.
- 2:14:22Speaker 4: And look at he's grabbing a fence. He's like, yeah,
- 2:14:26Speaker 4: Big John's trying to pry his hands away. He just
- 2:14:28Speaker 4: grabs him again.
- 2:14:29Speaker 5: He don't even let go.
- 2:14:30Speaker 4: At least back then, I guess you couldn't grab the fence,
- 2:14:32Speaker 4: so there was a rule. He's grabbing it again, literally
- 2:14:37Speaker 4: grab That's the most blatant friends grabbing of all time.
- 2:14:40Speaker 4: I see ugly right there, bro, Big John. When you
- 2:14:44Speaker 4: get on it, John John, slap his hands away, John John.
- 2:14:47Speaker 4: Johnny's grabbing the fence. They really it was like a
- 2:14:51Speaker 4: suggestion back then, it was not even a rule. Defense
- 2:14:55Speaker 4: I think he knocked his hands away. He was saying,
- 2:14:57Speaker 4: don't defense, but only like a little. He's kind of
- 2:15:01Speaker 4: not that enthusiast, and it was like as he was
- 2:15:04Speaker 4: letting go already he was grabbed it. Yeah, that was
- 2:15:07Speaker 4: the first UFC I worked. They the rules back then
- 2:15:10Speaker 4: were so weird. Shoes wrestling shoes. It's weird now, you
- 2:15:14Speaker 4: you know, like wrestling shoes would change everything. You get
- 2:15:18Speaker 4: so much more grip on the cage, so much more
- 2:15:20Speaker 4: ability to move. But the wrestlers would love it. But also, yeah,
- 2:15:25Speaker 4: that would be a problem. Oh, he looks a real problem.
- 2:15:28Speaker 6: When I first started training, I remember with Kuk Cook
- 2:15:31Speaker 6: back in the day, he used to wear wrestling sneaks
- 2:15:34Speaker 6: and stuff, and I remember being like, you know, I
- 2:15:35Speaker 6: want it as much for the street as possible.
- 2:15:37Speaker 4: I remember that was my mentality, So I'd wear the
- 2:15:40Speaker 4: wrestling sneak is I'm like, yo, funck this guys grabbing
- 2:15:43Speaker 4: your foot and I'm like yeah that And also like
- 2:15:47Speaker 4: fitting up arm bars and stuff, like when you try
- 2:15:49Speaker 4: to grab the foot and throw it over, Now you've
- 2:15:51Speaker 4: got a grip on something that's like text textile, Like
- 2:15:54Speaker 4: you could hold on that motherfucker a foot is foot's
- 2:15:58Speaker 4: hard to hold on too. They get sweaty and ship
- 2:16:00Speaker 4: they're all slippery. Nah, no good. Yeah.
- 2:16:03Speaker 2: When I hear Jens Polver, I was like, he gonna
- 2:16:05Speaker 2: wear shoes.
- 2:16:08Speaker 6: That was Hey, hey, Jamie, could you find Dean Thomas
- 2:16:12Speaker 6: is rolling knee bar on Jen's polver.
- 2:16:14Speaker 2: I bet they don't even have I think, Jamie can.
- 2:16:17Speaker 4: It has to be online everything, Thomas. Those fights, those
- 2:16:21Speaker 4: old fights, I mean those are history. How much shooto fighter?
- 2:16:23Speaker 4: You know. I remember seeing that interview because I you
- 2:16:25Speaker 4: remember seeing it.
- 2:16:26Speaker 2: I studied it because I was gonna fight you. Oh,
- 2:16:28Speaker 2: and I'm like, ah, tried that on me, motherfucker.
- 2:16:32Speaker 4: Jen's pulver had some laser beam punches back.
- 2:16:34Speaker 2: I remember when he knocked out John Lewis.
- 2:16:37Speaker 4: Oh crn too.
- 2:16:42Speaker 2: Yeah, but he did not want that guy punching me.
- 2:16:45Speaker 4: Yeah, you can't be wearing shoes. It's ball. Yeah, it's
- 2:16:50Speaker 4: just too much, too much of an advantage.
- 2:16:52Speaker 2: I was an old school one too. You did it
- 2:16:53Speaker 2: almost like you're gonna give your back to him and
- 2:16:56Speaker 2: roll under.
- 2:16:57Speaker 4: I think you should.
- 2:16:57Speaker 2: Let look at this.
- 2:16:58Speaker 4: Look at this here it is, look at this. Look
- 2:17:01Speaker 4: how lean inside heel hook with shoes on that.
- 2:17:10Speaker 5: Tapped a long time ago.
- 2:17:11Speaker 4: Thomas. Oh my god, that must have hurt. Thomas. What
- 2:17:14Speaker 4: did it feel like? Did you feel I heard all
- 2:17:16Speaker 4: the pop? How bad was the injury? I don't know.
- 2:17:21Speaker 2: I never called him afterwards, but.
- 2:17:24Speaker 4: It had to be real bad, dude, It had to
- 2:17:26Speaker 4: be real bad with the shoes and everything. Like, my god,
- 2:17:29Speaker 4: look at that into that that's so pretty. Look at you,
- 2:17:32Speaker 4: look at you, right into the inside. Oh my god,
- 2:17:35Speaker 4: he knows he's fox Bill. Oh god, I heard I
- 2:17:40Speaker 4: heard it pop? You mean, Thomas?
- 2:17:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I heard that pop a few times sometimes.
- 2:17:46Speaker 4: How good is that feel?
- 2:17:47Speaker 2: It feels good.
- 2:17:50Speaker 3: I watched myself getting knocked out by b J Pen
- 2:17:52Speaker 3: over and over and over about the time I get one.
- 2:17:55Speaker 4: Those heel hook ones are the ones that you while
- 2:17:58Speaker 4: you're watching him, you're grabbing.
- 2:17:59Speaker 5: You know, you're already like.
- 2:18:00Speaker 4: You're like, I hate them. I hate them with a
- 2:18:03Speaker 4: passion because they're ruined your whole career. Hey, do you
- 2:18:07Speaker 4: see a Kimora?
- 2:18:08Speaker 2: Just look well that's just ugly, man. It's like almost
- 2:18:12Speaker 2: like I want to push it back in.
- 2:18:13Speaker 4: You're like frank Mire, dude.
- 2:18:20Speaker 5: Straight jiu jitsu tournament. I snapped the dude's humorous, just
- 2:18:23Speaker 5: like straight up because my coach is yelling like, protect
- 2:18:26Speaker 5: your fighter.
- 2:18:27Speaker 4: Oh god, that's horrible and you don't recover fully.
- 2:18:32Speaker 5: He had a good surgery. Sound like a pool stick
- 2:18:34Speaker 5: snap and ah.
- 2:18:37Speaker 4: I'll never forget the sound of Wideman when oh come
- 2:18:40Speaker 4: on god, oh my god, that's like, we'll never forget
- 2:18:43Speaker 4: that sound.
- 2:18:44Speaker 2: I remember that that was so that one was so loud,
- 2:18:48Speaker 2: that was the course.
- 2:18:49Speaker 4: So loud. It was what are the chances Anderson does
- 2:18:53Speaker 4: it to? You know, he does it to Anderson and
- 2:18:55Speaker 4: then it happens to him to it's only guys, and
- 2:18:59Speaker 4: you see it's every connor. Corey Hill's the first one.
- 2:19:04Speaker 4: I remember the Corey Hill one because the roughee. He
- 2:19:06Speaker 4: didn't see it and I put my headphones.
- 2:19:08Speaker 13: I'm screaming, stop the fight, stop the fight, Stop the fight.
- 2:19:15Speaker 13: Was it related to that, No, I think he has
- 2:19:16Speaker 13: some kind of disease, some kind of like something. A
- 2:19:19Speaker 13: break of a bone is a traumatic injury, Like you
- 2:19:22Speaker 13: have to understand. This is such a difference between breaking
- 2:19:24Speaker 13: your hand, which I think we've all done. I broke
- 2:19:27Speaker 13: my arm when I was a little kid, breaking your
- 2:19:29Speaker 13: shin in.
- 2:19:30Speaker 4: Half like that it's such a traumatic about Frank me
- 2:19:36Speaker 4: broke his femur in a car accident. A guy t
- 2:19:39Speaker 4: boned him on a motorcycle, snapped his thigh bone. But
- 2:19:45Speaker 4: Frank wasn't the same for years. It took years for
- 2:19:48Speaker 4: him to come back to full form again. Rough. So
- 2:19:52Speaker 4: this is the other question about Connor. How much can
- 2:19:55Speaker 4: you use that left leg? His left leg snapped in half? Okay,
- 2:19:59Speaker 4: And I see him kicking the bag and I see
- 2:20:02Speaker 4: him doing all these things and that's great, and I
- 2:20:04Speaker 4: hope it's one hundred percent.
- 2:20:06Speaker 6: But I mean, I've seen Chris Wyman kicking Hector Lombard.
- 2:20:12Speaker 6: Weird thing where I think it's only body punches and
- 2:20:15Speaker 6: leg kicks.
- 2:20:16Speaker 4: You see what I'm doing. Yeah, that jiu jitsu thing,
- 2:20:20Speaker 4: but it is jsu Yeah, yeah, they're allowed to leg
- 2:20:23Speaker 4: kick and body punch. It was the oddest thing. It's
- 2:20:26Speaker 4: the weirdest thing.
- 2:20:26Speaker 2: I just saw Chris just kept kicking them and Hector
- 2:20:30Speaker 2: was like punching him in the neck.
- 2:20:32Speaker 4: Like I'm like, what the fuck out of rules is this?
- 2:20:35Speaker 4: It's crazy. I didn't know what I was watching those
- 2:20:37Speaker 4: those ones with the dudes like stand next to each
- 2:20:40Speaker 4: other and just leg kick each other in dismission.
- 2:20:43Speaker 5: That ship's nasty.
- 2:20:44Speaker 4: Those are so that's so crazy. Who does I don't know, man,
- 2:20:48Speaker 4: but there's a lot of those videos. It's a dumb
- 2:20:50Speaker 4: as slap almost, I mean kind of almost, because like
- 2:20:55Speaker 4: you could really ruin your leg. You don't understand, like Pedrohizzo,
- 2:20:59Speaker 4: like one of those kind of guys.
- 2:21:00Speaker 2: Could you imagine like doing that with Pedro?
- 2:21:01Speaker 4: Look at the.
- 2:21:02Speaker 5: Damage his did the Randleman's leg or had a different vein.
- 2:21:06Speaker 5: Paddy got done with him.
- 2:21:08Speaker 4: To It was like six months man to recover to
- 2:21:11Speaker 4: two fights this year and then god damn man heavyweight fight.
- 2:21:16Speaker 4: Oh Jesus.
- 2:21:20Speaker 2: Man, fuck you make me sick.
- 2:21:22Speaker 4: It's horrible, man, And I know how hard Chris kicks
- 2:21:27Speaker 4: Bongo is Like backstage, he was killing the pads. It
- 2:21:30Speaker 4: was all to hold them.
- 2:21:31Speaker 2: Such a great friend, fucking then he went out there.
- 2:21:36Speaker 4: And Jesus Woven's making me feel bad for being sixty eight.
- 2:21:39Speaker 4: Oh yeah, he's telling me he's so funny.
- 2:21:42Speaker 2: And then he was asking about a peptide.
- 2:21:44Speaker 4: And I have to text him later.
- 2:21:45Speaker 5: He's the best.
- 2:21:47Speaker 4: He's you two together, I swear to should be a show,
- 2:21:50Speaker 4: come on, should be a show. Follow him around? Yeah,
- 2:21:53Speaker 4: just follow you guys around, follow you to the pizza place.
- 2:21:56Speaker 4: Be a great show. It'd be a great fucking chuck
- 2:21:58Speaker 4: it really would you get one of them keeping up
- 2:22:01Speaker 4: with Kardashians, people who know how to do a reality
- 2:22:03Speaker 4: show filmed the two of you guys together, hanging out,
- 2:22:06Speaker 4: drinking coffee, talking ship training fighters. Yeah, epic. I mean,
- 2:22:11Speaker 4: don't wait too long, he's getting older. And also think
- 2:22:14Speaker 4: about how many guys you've worked with, like the super
- 2:22:17Speaker 4: high level guys like al Joe and Morob and you know,
- 2:22:20Speaker 4: just being with them and Widman being with them at
- 2:22:23Speaker 4: the UFCS. Great fucking show. Who's who's best? To have
- 2:22:28Speaker 4: mikes on in the corner, come on to get the best.
- 2:22:32Speaker 4: It's so funny.
- 2:22:33Speaker 6: I like that comedians are making comedies again. I'm looking
- 2:22:38Speaker 6: at Hall. This is halland Wyll Williams.
- 2:22:41Speaker 4: He put a Gordon his fucking legs his movie.
- 2:22:48Speaker 2: You know, I love his movie Wingman. It's funny.
- 2:22:51Speaker 4: It's funny, he's funny and everything you do. Yeah, it's
- 2:22:55Speaker 4: if I missed those. Yeah, you know what it is.
- 2:23:00Speaker 6: These comedians are now funding it themselves, like Theo vonn
- 2:23:03Speaker 6: and David Spade did bus boys.
- 2:23:05Speaker 4: And Tom is doing a bunch of show.
- 2:23:09Speaker 5: David Spade did one together. There's real life Joe Dirt,
- 2:23:12Speaker 5: So that's you know.
- 2:23:13Speaker 4: I like it. They're just doing it where they don't
- 2:23:15Speaker 4: have to get okay okay by anybody. And the other
- 2:23:19Speaker 4: one I keep always find everybody telling them what to do,
- 2:23:21Speaker 4: how to, how to, how to fucking be in a cult?
- 2:23:24Speaker 4: How a cult with uh?
- 2:23:27Speaker 2: The Greek guy, the heavy Greek guy is that.
- 2:23:31Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a funny one, dude.
- 2:23:33Speaker 2: That that one's that one made me.
- 2:23:36Speaker 5: He's from Baltimore and he does a Baltimore Ravens fan
- 2:23:39Speaker 5: after every winter loss during the season, Like you have
- 2:23:42Speaker 5: to fucking see it because it's fucking.
- 2:23:44Speaker 4: Hilarious, very funny, dude. Man, I like this. It's a
- 2:23:47Speaker 4: good time for comedy because it's like pushback. You know.
- 2:23:50Speaker 4: When this pushback, then people get excited when someone doesn't
- 2:23:53Speaker 4: give into it. They make up make their own ship.
- 2:23:56Speaker 4: But if you want to try to make a comedy
- 2:23:57Speaker 4: movie with a studio, you have to deal with some
- 2:24:00Speaker 4: many people telling you what you can and can't. Say.
- 2:24:02Speaker 4: You're way better off just doing it on your own,
- 2:24:04Speaker 4: Like they don't really know what funny is they're trying
- 2:24:06Speaker 4: to protect their job.
- 2:24:06Speaker 5: They have the maid and they were cranking them off
- 2:24:08Speaker 5: for a while. They're like talladegg and Knights, Tropic Thunder.
- 2:24:12Speaker 4: You know what happened, The fucking Internet happened. People started
- 2:24:15Speaker 4: complaining in real life, like you know, it started. These
- 2:24:18Speaker 4: morons online started affecting the way people view comedy so ridiculous.
- 2:24:23Speaker 4: It's the meanwhile, didn't affect the way we view violence,
- 2:24:26Speaker 4: which is crazy, Like you could have a super hyper
- 2:24:29Speaker 4: violent movie. Nobody has a problem. It's the dumbest ship
- 2:24:32Speaker 4: of all time. But if you have some crazy like
- 2:24:34Speaker 4: if you tried to make a movie like like super
- 2:24:38Speaker 4: Bad fucking hilarious, to try to make that today, couldn't
- 2:24:42Speaker 4: make it. You couldn't make it, or Tropic Thunder to
- 2:24:46Speaker 4: Thunder make it straight and black Face Trading stellar full retard.
- 2:24:55Speaker 4: I asked him, I said, do you think Robert Downe Jr.
- 2:24:57Speaker 4: I said, do you think you can make that movie?
- 2:24:59Speaker 4: Video goes, Oh, you could make.
- 2:25:04Speaker 6: Most of the eighties comedy guys trying to get late
- 2:25:11Speaker 6: the premise alone is not gonna make it, you know
- 2:25:13Speaker 6: what I mean?
- 2:25:14Speaker 4: It's funny, man, It's like we'll allow the most hyper
- 2:25:18Speaker 4: violent movies and celebrate them. Oh, it's awesome. Like I
- 2:25:21Speaker 4: just watched Collateral again the other day.
- 2:25:24Speaker 5: That's awesome movie.
- 2:25:24Speaker 4: We watched the scene and the in one of the
- 2:25:27Speaker 4: one of the episodes we did, we watched that scene
- 2:25:28Speaker 4: where shoots those guys and I got so into it.
- 2:25:31Speaker 4: I need to watch that movie again. But hyper violent
- 2:25:36Speaker 4: in a movie that everybody says a wonderful movie. Comed
- 2:25:39Speaker 4: really enjoyed it.
- 2:25:40Speaker 2: Let's make you laugh.
- 2:25:42Speaker 4: But doesn't it Like, isn't it like spoilers? Like I
- 2:25:44Speaker 4: don't want to spoil it, but like, doesn't the other
- 2:25:46Speaker 4: doesn't Jamie Fox kill him something? Or well dies, I
- 2:25:51Speaker 4: mean dies somehow? But unbelievable that he kills the manage assassin,
- 2:25:55Speaker 4: the driver. I think, like you wanted to die. I
- 2:25:57Speaker 4: think when you kill a bunch of people over a
- 2:25:59Speaker 4: long period of time.
- 2:26:00Speaker 11: Those deeper than that I supposed to be Russell Crow
- 2:26:04Speaker 11: and Adam Sandler in that movie.
- 2:26:06Speaker 4: Are you serious? That's crazy?
- 2:26:08Speaker 5: Interesting?
- 2:26:09Speaker 4: They should do it. Yeah, right, that's interesting. I'll tell
- 2:26:13Speaker 4: you what. Tom Cruise was good.
- 2:26:15Speaker 5: Phenomenal.
- 2:26:16Speaker 4: He's pretty much good.
- 2:26:17Speaker 5: They say they used that clip of him in that
- 2:26:19Speaker 5: alley for training like c I a motherfuckers?
- 2:26:23Speaker 4: Do you know the scene? No favorite scenes and Jamie
- 2:26:26Speaker 4: pull up one of my favorite, one of my favorite
- 2:26:29Speaker 4: scenes in any movie. Idiots. I love a good tactical
- 2:26:33Speaker 4: draw because I love I love a guy with practices.
- 2:26:35Speaker 4: What's the it's underrated, it's a fucking it's a lived
- 2:26:39Speaker 4: I repeat, Yes, Tom Cruise want something else but Edge
- 2:26:43Speaker 4: of Tomorrow? What is it Edge of Tomorrow?
- 2:26:46Speaker 5: That he is really good? Kept coming back, coming back.
- 2:26:50Speaker 4: This is a scene. So Jamie Fox is trapped to
- 2:26:53Speaker 4: the car. He's zip tied him to the steering wheel
- 2:26:56Speaker 4: and took the keys. That's fine, but uh, you can't
- 2:27:00Speaker 4: have a bunch of guys trying to get lad that's realistic.
- 2:27:04Speaker 4: You're sending a bad message. Spring ridiculous. I never thought
- 2:27:09Speaker 4: of it that way. Actually, it's ridiculous.
- 2:27:11Speaker 3: The comedians like rebuttal to it, you know, to not
- 2:27:15Speaker 3: being able to make the movie they want to make.
- 2:27:17Speaker 4: Well, it's only empowered. The clubs like clubs are packed.
- 2:27:21Speaker 4: Everybody wants because you go like you go to the
- 2:27:23Speaker 4: mother ship, you're gonna hear some wild ship. People want
- 2:27:25Speaker 4: to laugh. They don't nobody. It doesn't mean you mean
- 2:27:28Speaker 4: what you're saying just right right, It's just it's calm,
- 2:27:31Speaker 4: you're it's a joke. Bob Miley didn't really shoot the sheriff.
- 2:27:36Speaker 4: What you're doing is fucking around. We all know we've
- 2:27:38Speaker 4: always been talking ship. Talking shit has been a natural
- 2:27:40Speaker 4: part of humans. We talked ship, We joke around. And
- 2:27:44Speaker 4: the idea that that's supposed to be up to someone's
- 2:27:46Speaker 4: standards or someone else's parameters of what you can and
- 2:27:50Speaker 4: can't talk. Fuck you just don't go. Don't go watch it.
- 2:27:55Speaker 4: Tom Brady rous kind of brought it, brought it back
- 2:27:58Speaker 4: in a big way. Yeah, in a big way. Yeah.
- 2:28:00Speaker 4: The Tom Brady roast I think cracked the egg because
- 2:28:02Speaker 4: I think I got like fifty five million views on
- 2:28:04Speaker 4: Netflix alone, like within the first week. Yeah, people still
- 2:28:08Speaker 4: getting canceled there.
- 2:28:09Speaker 2: I think it's kind of passed.
- 2:28:10Speaker 4: I think it doesn't work.
- 2:28:12Speaker 2: You can't because everybody can just people get put your
- 2:28:14Speaker 2: own stuff on. Yeah, you can do your own stuff.
- 2:28:17Speaker 4: What's also when people get canceled, people just flock to
- 2:28:19Speaker 4: those people now, like makes them more popular. Yeah, you know,
- 2:28:22Speaker 4: every look at Kanye. Kanye is selling out the biggest
- 2:28:25Speaker 4: fucking places in the world doing pop up shows. Yeah,
- 2:28:28Speaker 4: he's doing arena pop up shows.
- 2:28:30Speaker 2: He just went in Miami a couple of weeks ago.
- 2:28:32Speaker 2: My son went to it.
- 2:28:33Speaker 4: He's doing on this weekend in San Antonio. Really just
- 2:28:36Speaker 4: pop up show. So Tony Hinchcliff just went to the
- 2:28:38Speaker 4: one in Tampa. He said it was insane. Yeah, this
- 2:28:40Speaker 4: is the greatest show he's ever seen in his life.
- 2:28:42Speaker 4: He's on top of a world. He's standing on top
- 2:28:44Speaker 4: of a globe. Yeah, and like it's spinning while he's
- 2:28:47Speaker 4: up there doing two and a half hours of bangers. Yeah,
- 2:28:51Speaker 4: like you realize, Tony goes, You realize how many hits
- 2:28:53Speaker 4: this guy has. Kanye Kanye Yeah, otherwise known as Yea.
- 2:28:58Speaker 5: Yeah, that's right.
- 2:29:00Speaker 2: Yeah, No one wants to do a versus battle against Kanye.
- 2:29:03Speaker 2: He's so prolific.
- 2:29:05Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like saying, every aspect of the show he produced,
- 2:29:10Speaker 4: so every sound has a like a purpose, every lighting effect,
- 2:29:14Speaker 4: it's all coordinated. He said, it's amazing.
- 2:29:17Speaker 2: He's like a gene He's a genius.
- 2:29:19Speaker 4: Legit crazy, is fucking a shithouse rat. But that's how
- 2:29:22Speaker 4: you have him.
- 2:29:23Speaker 5: He's out there, I mean, but most creative people different.
- 2:29:28Speaker 4: You don't get that good by being normal right, like
- 2:29:31Speaker 4: he's too good, but I mean normal is overrated. The
- 2:29:34Speaker 4: guy comes back from wearing a diamond encrusted swastika to
- 2:29:40Speaker 4: selling out the biggest arenas in the world. He has
- 2:29:42Speaker 4: a song called Kyle Hitler. A year later, he's selling
- 2:29:46Speaker 4: out the biggest arenas in the world, like instantaneously. Do
- 2:29:49Speaker 4: you know he's the goat? Like no one's even close.
- 2:29:53Speaker 4: He's like one of the greatest performers of all time. Yeah,
- 2:29:56Speaker 4: like no one's even close. Like with the stuff that
- 2:29:58Speaker 4: he does, like hen compare it to his contemporary He's like, yeah, he's.
- 2:30:01Speaker 2: Yeah, he's so far ahead of everybody else out.
- 2:30:04Speaker 5: The Prince was like that too. It's all the hits
- 2:30:07Speaker 5: he had and all the hits he's written for people.
- 2:30:10Speaker 5: When that Freddie Gray shit happened in Baltimore, he called
- 2:30:13Speaker 5: the city and wanted to do like a benefit concert
- 2:30:16Speaker 5: or whatever, and I was able to go to it.
- 2:30:19Speaker 4: And at one point on the.
- 2:30:21Speaker 5: Stage, he's doing all these songs and he goes, God, damn,
- 2:30:24Speaker 5: I forgot all the good shit that he kept going.
- 2:30:28Speaker 5: But the best story was on soundcheck, like he tunes,
- 2:30:33Speaker 5: everything's got to be the way he wants it. And
- 2:30:37Speaker 5: jay Z, Beyonce and somebody else. I don't know who
- 2:30:41Speaker 5: the third person was, but they were going to come
- 2:30:43Speaker 5: and be part of it. So they asked him if
- 2:30:45Speaker 5: he could come. He's like, yeah, sure. So when they came,
- 2:30:48Speaker 5: they started to go on stage for soundcheck, and a
- 2:30:51Speaker 5: friend of mine at the building said Prince, like, whoa
- 2:30:55Speaker 5: what are you doing up on the fucking stage And
- 2:30:57Speaker 5: they're like, oh, you know, we want to get our
- 2:30:58Speaker 5: shit straight, and he goesn't that this is my ship.
- 2:31:01Speaker 5: You want to come and be a part of it. Fine,
- 2:31:03Speaker 5: if not, get the funk off the stage, and they
- 2:31:05Speaker 5: fuck you know, they walked in and left the God
- 2:31:08Speaker 5: out of there.
- 2:31:08Speaker 4: But you gotta be careful with other stars because they
- 2:31:11Speaker 4: do like the metal. Yeah, like that light and that dude.
- 2:31:16Speaker 5: You know, ship was getting done how he wanted it done.
- 2:31:20Speaker 4: Has to be. He was too good.
- 2:31:21Speaker 5: Yeah, he's a fucking genius. That guitar solo he did
- 2:31:24Speaker 5: at the Rock and Roll Hall of God.
- 2:31:27Speaker 4: He could do anything. He could play any musical instrument.
- 2:31:29Speaker 4: He used to play all the musical instruments.
- 2:31:32Speaker 5: Did you and he could play basketball?
- 2:31:34Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 2:31:36Speaker 2: Did you watch that?
- 2:31:37Speaker 4: Michael Jackson? I didn't know Jackson. I saw it. Did
- 2:31:40Speaker 4: you watch it? I did?
- 2:31:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I was.
- 2:31:42Speaker 4: I thought it was good. You didn't. You didn't see it.
- 2:31:44Speaker 2: I didn't see it.
- 2:31:45Speaker 4: It's good. Watched it. And then he told you what
- 2:31:49Speaker 4: he told me.
- 2:31:50Speaker 6: I mean, it's a good thing. I guess after he's
- 2:31:53Speaker 6: seen it, he goes he didn't touch any kids. Oh,
- 2:31:57Speaker 6: I tell you right now, he didn't touch anything, like
- 2:32:01Speaker 6: long long ago.
- 2:32:02Speaker 2: That's all I want to know. Your thoughts on it.
- 2:32:05Speaker 4: That's hilarious. No, because.
- 2:32:08Speaker 3: His father's but no, it's a good movie. And the
- 2:32:11Speaker 3: guy who played his nephew nailed it. Man nailed My
- 2:32:15Speaker 3: family loved it. My wife, kid, they loved it.
- 2:32:18Speaker 2: I didn't see it.
- 2:32:19Speaker 4: Though. It's a cautionary tale, the Michael Jackson stories, like
- 2:32:23Speaker 4: when kids get that famous, no one can handle it.
- 2:32:25Speaker 4: That's what that is.
- 2:32:26Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:32:27Speaker 4: There's also the weirdness of the doctor saying that he
- 2:32:29Speaker 4: was chemically castrated. His doctor killed him, The same guy
- 2:32:34Speaker 4: that killed him with the profo al put him to
- 2:32:36Speaker 4: sleep with anaesthesia. That guy said that when he was young,
- 2:32:39Speaker 4: his father chemically castrated him to preserve his voice. Are
- 2:32:43Speaker 4: you serious? They didn't get into that part, which totally
- 2:32:47Speaker 4: makes sense. When you look at him in comparison to
- 2:32:49Speaker 4: all the other guys in his family, he's really thin,
- 2:32:52Speaker 4: like he has no testilster, no one. All the brothers
- 2:32:55Speaker 4: are all big. Yeah, they're men, like you look at Jermaine,
- 2:32:58Speaker 4: they're big. Man, he's really thin. And he kept that
- 2:33:03Speaker 4: high pitched voice like when you listen to some of
- 2:33:05Speaker 4: his like Human Nature. Listen to Human Nature, Like that
- 2:33:08Speaker 4: voice is insane. Yeah, we can't play it on the show,
- 2:33:11Speaker 4: but Jamie play Human Nature by Michael Jackson real quick?
- 2:33:14Speaker 4: Did Why did Varis get plump on Game of Thrones
- 2:33:17Speaker 4: when they cut off his ball? Well, I don't think
- 2:33:20Speaker 4: that was real. You can still get fat, but you
- 2:33:26Speaker 4: can't you you know, you don't get muscle, Like you
- 2:33:29Speaker 4: don't have any testosterone. It's gone. You're burned feeding that
- 2:33:32Speaker 4: guy either to keep him thin so he could dance man. Well. Also,
- 2:33:36Speaker 4: he's probably performing every night, so he's burning off ship
- 2:33:39Speaker 4: tons of If they put a fitbit on that dude,
- 2:33:42Speaker 4: the amount.
- 2:33:42Speaker 5: Of steps that he's taking, dude, it's pretty crazy. Like
- 2:33:45Speaker 5: a front man for a band the fucking Run in
- 2:33:48Speaker 5: their day, We're.
- 2:33:49Speaker 4: Don't play this song Human Nature the official music video
- 2:33:54Speaker 4: same that voice you. I don't think you get that
- 2:33:57Speaker 4: voice from a man. No man that has chemically the
- 2:34:02Speaker 4: same way that they do it with puberty blockers that
- 2:34:06Speaker 4: they use on kids. No, like when you're when they
- 2:34:09Speaker 4: do puberty blockers, that's what puberty blockers do. What they're
- 2:34:12Speaker 4: doing is they're just blocking all of your testosterone production.
- 2:34:17Speaker 4: And so they used to do it to criminals. So
- 2:34:19Speaker 4: if they had a sex offender, that was the chemically
- 2:34:22Speaker 4: castrat I'm all for that. Yeah, chop did dix off eliminated, Well,
- 2:34:27Speaker 4: just eliminate them. They should be eliminated. But the chemically
- 2:34:32Speaker 4: castration thing they used to do with opera singers. They
- 2:34:34Speaker 4: call them castrados, but not chemically castra They used to
- 2:34:37Speaker 4: use a knife. They used to chop their balls off
- 2:34:39Speaker 4: when they were young so that they could sing like
- 2:34:42Speaker 4: like a woman. It was a very haunting sound. Like
- 2:34:45Speaker 4: there's only one recording of a castrado that's from like Jamie,
- 2:34:48Speaker 4: what was it from like the eighteen hundreds. There's one
- 2:34:53Speaker 4: recording of a guy singing that that had no balls,
- 2:34:56Speaker 4: and then they do it to them when they're really young.
- 2:34:58Speaker 4: They do it to him they're kids. Yeah, like your
- 2:35:01Speaker 4: family sells you off to some opera and they slice
- 2:35:04Speaker 4: your balls off and keep you that way forever. Weazy
- 2:35:08Speaker 4: damn Yeah, and the sound find that Castrado recording with
- 2:35:13Speaker 4: sound as haunting. Man, you hear the guy singing and
- 2:35:16Speaker 4: he creeps you out. You're like, oh my god, this
- 2:35:18Speaker 4: guy was a little boy and they cut his balls
- 2:35:20Speaker 4: off so we could sing like this. So oh yeah,
- 2:35:25Speaker 4: And I think that's what they did to Michael Jackson.
- 2:35:28Speaker 4: Well at least that's what the doctor says. It makes sense.
- 2:35:31Speaker 2: I mean it makes sense like even watching a movie.
- 2:35:32Speaker 2: How hard his father was on him. Man, how much
- 2:35:35Speaker 2: he demanded of him. Man, you're gonna creep us out.
- 2:35:38Speaker 4: Now, listen to this guy's voice. Okay, Christ, But we
- 2:35:43Speaker 4: know that that was an actual process. That was the
- 2:35:46Speaker 4: actual practice. They really did chop boys balls off so
- 2:35:50Speaker 4: they could sing better.
- 2:35:51Speaker 5: Went from happy human nature to sound funny. Was fucking dying.
- 2:35:56Speaker 4: I know. It's really nuts if you think about the
- 2:35:58Speaker 4: horrible things that people were willing to do.
- 2:36:00Speaker 11: It's not disproving it or anything. It's just a guy thing.
- 2:36:02Speaker 11: He went to search where they were doing it. I
- 2:36:04Speaker 11: think he said he was having very trouble a lot
- 2:36:06Speaker 11: of trouble finding a lot of information.
- 2:36:09Speaker 4: About costrados and where they did it or how they
- 2:36:11Speaker 4: did it, but they hide that.
- 2:36:13Speaker 5: Yeah, I was chopping nuts.
- 2:36:16Speaker 4: Oh yeah, let me take you to the lab.
- 2:36:21Speaker 5: Show you do with the balls?
- 2:36:23Speaker 2: Are you doing those pep tipes?
- 2:36:25Speaker 4: Many eunuchs were castrated after puberty, and thus castration had
- 2:36:28Speaker 4: no effect on their voices. Oh that's a eunuch though,
- 2:36:31Speaker 4: that's just pubert after Yeah. So you got to catch them, right,
- 2:36:38Speaker 4: You got to catch them before they grow their nuts.
- 2:36:41Speaker 11: It's so horrible, just as it goes back to foreign boy.
- 2:36:45Speaker 4: Constantinople boy, Who's who came up with that idea? I
- 2:36:51Speaker 4: have an idea infection from getting their nuts chopped off?
- 2:37:00Speaker 4: You know, probably a lot back then, they didn't even
- 2:37:02Speaker 4: know what fucking cooties were. They had no idea.
- 2:37:05Speaker 2: They didn't clean the night.
- 2:37:07Speaker 11: Yeah, no, disgusting started off with as a punishment. It
- 2:37:11Speaker 11: wasn't a choice.
- 2:37:12Speaker 4: And then they realized this guy sing really nice, and
- 2:37:17Speaker 4: it's kind of cool they sing in the shower. I
- 2:37:20Speaker 4: really like gentlemen. This is a lot of fun. Always
