- 0:08Speaker 1: Man. I've had a week, I tell you all right.
- 0:10Speaker 1: So you ever run out of gas? Yeah?
- 0:13Speaker 3: I ran out one time and I went to wah wah,
- 0:15Speaker 3: and I didn't have any money, and I was asking
- 0:17Speaker 3: for you know, people for money to help me out
- 0:18Speaker 3: because I left my wallet at home and my phone.
- 0:21Speaker 3: And you told me if you experienced somebody like that
- 0:23Speaker 3: in public, that you wouldn't help them out.
- 0:26Speaker 2: I kind of hold that against you.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Ah wait, I forget this story. We were good friends.
- 0:29Speaker 3: I got tell me the story again. So I ran
- 0:30Speaker 3: out of gas, literally I had. I got in my
- 0:32Speaker 3: car to go to work the one day, and as
- 0:34Speaker 3: I was getting to the gas station, my car ran
- 0:38Speaker 3: out of gas, like literally, like that was it?
- 0:41Speaker 1: Were you going there to get gas?
- 0:43Speaker 3: I was going there to get gas on the way
- 0:45Speaker 3: to work. Well, then how are you going to pay
- 0:47Speaker 3: for it? I forgot my phone, So I went around
- 0:52Speaker 3: and you know, you look at me. I don't look troublesome.
- 0:54Speaker 3: I look like the least threatening guy you've ever met
- 0:57Speaker 3: in your life. I went up to several people, and
- 1:00Speaker 3: nobody would help me out with like a buck just
- 1:02Speaker 3: to get home. I said, I'll venmo you as soon
- 1:04Speaker 3: as I get home. You can follow me to my house.
- 1:07Speaker 3: I live right down the street. And no one helped
- 1:10Speaker 3: me out any more? Are weird these days? You can't
- 1:12Speaker 3: trust anybody?
- 1:13Speaker 1: Yeah? I know, So what happened? No one helped me?
- 1:16Speaker 1: So what happened?
- 1:17Speaker 4: What you do?
- 1:17Speaker 1: I had to walk home and I left my car there.
- 1:20Speaker 3: I walked home, got my freaking wallet and my phone
- 1:24Speaker 3: and went back and I got gas.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Wait a second, so you ran out of gas on
- 1:27Speaker 2: the way to the gas station. I literally knew I
- 1:30Speaker 2: had to get the gas station.
- 1:31Speaker 3: You know how it says on your your gas tank,
- 1:33Speaker 3: like you know how many miles you have till empty? Yea,
- 1:35Speaker 3: yea yeah yeah, I had like one okay right, It
- 1:38Speaker 3: was enough to start the car and get down the
- 1:40Speaker 3: road and that was it. Am, I ran out of
- 1:42Speaker 3: gas and no one helped me. That's like shooting your
- 1:45Speaker 3: pants right before the toilet. Yeah. Has that happened to you, Joel?
- 1:49Speaker 3: I feel like it has. I feel like my pants
- 1:51Speaker 3: before the toilet before. No comment, like you gotta come
- 1:55Speaker 3: it well?
- 1:56Speaker 1: Gas?
- 1:56Speaker 2: But anyway, shit gas. Speaking of gas ship, is where
- 2:01Speaker 2: we're going to talk about today.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Great.
- 2:02Speaker 2: No, So I DJ'd a fantastic wedding last weekend. I
- 2:06Speaker 2: had Friday, Saturday, Sunday weddings. I DJed fantastic weddings. Boom
- 2:09Speaker 2: boom boom, three in a row. Well, Sunday here I am.
- 2:12Speaker 2: I'm exhausted. I had a wedding that was like an
- 2:14Speaker 2: hour hour and a half away, right, So after DJing
- 2:17Speaker 2: all weekend, I'm fried. I'm exhausted. It's like midnight. I'm
- 2:22Speaker 2: driving home. I'm driving home, me and my assistant.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Here we are. We're going down the road.
- 2:26Speaker 2: And I did notice that, again, i'd drive fast all
- 2:29Speaker 2: the time, but I did notice that the Jeep.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I drive a Jeep Wrangler.
- 2:33Speaker 2: I did notice that it was a little shaky, a
- 2:36Speaker 2: little bit.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Like I was, you know, I was driving like a
- 2:38Speaker 1: hundred giving you a warning sign.
- 2:39Speaker 2: I was driving like one hundred miles an hour in
- 2:41Speaker 2: the left lane initially, And I did feel it just
- 2:43Speaker 2: felt strange, right, It felt a little weird. And so
- 2:46Speaker 2: when we're like maybe I don't know, fifteen ten to
- 2:49Speaker 2: fifteen minutes from home, the light goes on and says,
- 2:54Speaker 2: you know, low fuel or whatever. But it was already
- 2:58Speaker 2: like too low to be able to tell me how
- 3:00Speaker 2: many miles I had until it.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Was fully three lines. Yeah, it just said low.
- 3:04Speaker 3: It was like good luck in the next ten to
- 3:06Speaker 3: twelve minutes.
- 3:07Speaker 1: It just said low.
- 3:08Speaker 2: But I also looked on the GPS and I was
- 3:10Speaker 2: literally like, again, twelve minutes from home.
- 3:12Speaker 1: So I thought, fuck it, I'm not gonna like get
- 3:14Speaker 1: and brock.
- 3:15Speaker 2: My assistant was like, dude, just pull off now, because
- 3:17Speaker 2: like for our local listeners, we were right at four
- 3:19Speaker 2: twelve right there, and he goes, oh, there's a seven
- 3:21Speaker 2: to eleven, there's a why like, there's there's gas stations
- 3:23Speaker 2: right there.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Just pull off quick. And I was like, no, dude,
- 3:26Speaker 1: we'll be home. It'll be fine.
- 3:29Speaker 2: And then then as I say, as I'm saying to him,
- 3:32Speaker 2: I said, do you ever run out of guests? I
- 3:34Speaker 2: always wondered what happens? Does your car just like stop? Well,
- 3:37Speaker 2: wouldn't you fucking know? The car just stopped. As I
- 3:42Speaker 2: was saying that, I like, jinks did Yeah, I said,
- 3:46Speaker 2: and I quote, I always wondered what happened when?
- 3:48Speaker 1: And didn't I ask you?
- 3:49Speaker 3: I'm like, didn't you get the Wrangler four by e,
- 3:52Speaker 3: which means that you're supposed to have a supply of
- 3:54Speaker 3: electric And what did you say.
- 3:57Speaker 1: I haven't charged that thing in like months.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Why spend the extra money for the E and the
- 4:03Speaker 3: four by e if you're not gonna use the E?
- 4:06Speaker 1: I know it's it's been a lot harderr e. There's
- 4:08Speaker 1: been a lot of learning experiences as of recently.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Again, as I was saying, gee, I wonder what happens,
- 4:13Speaker 2: what do you run out of the guest Well, now
- 4:14Speaker 2: I know, at least with my car, it just says
- 4:16Speaker 2: shift to park and it starts blinking.
- 4:18Speaker 1: That's what happens. So I made it.
- 4:20Speaker 2: I mean, I made it to the side of the road.
- 4:22Speaker 2: I pulled over and then I like call my BROC
- 4:24Speaker 2: is like, well, what are we gonna do? And he goes, well,
- 4:26Speaker 2: I said, well, I'm gonna call my dad and he's
- 4:28Speaker 2: gonna yell at me and get ready for this.
- 4:30Speaker 1: So sure enough, I call.
- 4:31Speaker 2: He doesn't answer, So I call my mother and then
- 4:33Speaker 2: my mother goes, I'm gonna put your.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Father on and I hear him say in the background,
- 4:37Speaker 1: I don't want to talk to him.
- 4:38Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't want to talk to him,
- 4:40Speaker 2: and uh, he's like you know, that's why they call
- 4:43Speaker 2: it the fucking idiot.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Like you idiot. So but they were able to let
- 4:47Speaker 1: me use their triple A.
- 4:49Speaker 2: And after waiting like another hour, the dude showed up
- 4:52Speaker 2: at like one thirty in the morning to come give
- 4:54Speaker 2: me a bummer a little bit of gas.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Wait, there was no like within walking distance the guys.
- 5:00Speaker 4: I guess I could have walked.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I mean, honestly, looking back at it now, why didn't
- 5:03Speaker 2: I just get an uber?
- 5:04Speaker 1: Why didn't I just order an uber to a gas station?
- 5:07Speaker 2: But then the other thing though, when you get to
- 5:09Speaker 2: the gas station, did they have the cans there?
- 5:13Speaker 1: A lot of times?
- 5:13Speaker 4: Yeah, they have little ones. It's like a gallon, gallon
- 5:16Speaker 4: and a half.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Enough to get you to, you know, a gas station.
- 5:19Speaker 2: That's probably what I would do next time. Yeah, but
- 5:22Speaker 2: next time, next time. Geezl plugged in right now? Or no,
- 5:28Speaker 2: I bet it's not. Anyway, it's up, but you're e
- 5:32Speaker 2: man is promise I got dysfunction? Don't they make pills
- 5:38Speaker 2: for them?
- 5:39Speaker 3: But we are joined today by our special guest and
- 5:42Speaker 3: comedian Doug mckhissel.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Everybody mhissel. That's just fun to say. That's a great name. Yeah,
- 5:48Speaker 1: I like it.
- 5:50Speaker 4: That's a real name, right, No, no, yes, there was
- 5:53Speaker 4: a clan of mhissels retreating from battle all over Island
- 5:57Speaker 4: and I'm the lineage of it. No, it's my real
- 6:00Speaker 4: last name is Mcarus, and I don't mind. There's nothing
- 6:03Speaker 4: of mine you can steal. So yeah, yeah, Doug Mcarris.
- 6:06Speaker 4: But I came up with the name because when Facebook started,
- 6:10Speaker 4: I didn't want my boss being able to find me,
- 6:13Speaker 4: and I just interesting as creative as it was, I
- 6:16Speaker 4: just said I'll put hissel.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:19Speaker 4: And then I started doing comedy like shortly after that,
- 6:22Speaker 4: and I did an open mic at brew Works and
- 6:25Speaker 4: then that's where I met Tyler Rothrock and he said,
- 6:31Speaker 4: there's another open mic and my buddy Randy's Randy Tungue
- 6:35Speaker 4: is going to be hosting it. Just hit him up
- 6:38Speaker 4: and you know, tell him to put your name on
- 6:40Speaker 4: a list, and I did, and when I got there,
- 6:42Speaker 4: he goes, so what am I putting? Am I putting
- 6:43Speaker 4: Doug mckhizl? And I was like, at the time, I
- 6:46Speaker 4: was like my second time ever doing an open mic.
- 6:48Speaker 4: I was just thinking about that. Yeah, I was like, yeah,
- 6:50Speaker 4: go ahead, and then that just stuck. Yeah, I love it.
- 6:53Speaker 4: How many years now you've been doing comedy.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Fifteen years now? Yeah? Cool?
- 6:58Speaker 4: It is funny. When I got married the second time,
- 7:02Speaker 4: this one guy Ki, Yeah, well we got checks and
- 7:07Speaker 4: there our cards that said you know Doug. Yeah really yeah.
- 7:11Speaker 4: We were like how do we catch these? Uh? But
- 7:15Speaker 4: there was this one guy who I hung out with
- 7:17Speaker 4: a lot at the bar, right and uh after our wedding,
- 7:20Speaker 4: I guess he saw all the photos and all that,
- 7:22Speaker 4: and we had gone on our honeymoon immediately after. So
- 7:24Speaker 4: a week later, I'm back at the bar and he's like,
- 7:27Speaker 4: he's like, hey, man, how come you to invite me
- 7:29Speaker 4: to your wedding? And I said, what's my last name?
- 7:31Speaker 4: And he goes mc kissel. I said, that's why I said,
- 7:34Speaker 4: you don't even know mine. I don't even know your
- 7:36Speaker 4: last name. Everything I said, do you know how much
- 7:38Speaker 4: it is a plate? Like I don't know you dude,
- 7:41Speaker 4: Like when I've never even seen you at the at
- 7:43Speaker 4: the shopping you know, I've never seen you anywhere but
- 7:46Speaker 4: inside these walls of this bar.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Speaking of weddings, you said you came from a wedding
- 7:51Speaker 2: last night. You we had a wedding, right, Yeah, yeah, yeah, now,
- 7:53Speaker 2: beautiful wedding, you said. However, you gotta admit I mean,
- 7:56Speaker 2: I'm DJ weddings every weekend. It's a fantastic place to
- 7:59Speaker 2: people watch. I love nothing more than to just stand
- 8:02Speaker 2: there and look at people anywhere, and a wedding is
- 8:05Speaker 2: a great place to do it.
- 8:06Speaker 1: And I did do that.
- 8:07Speaker 4: My wife actually caught me doing that at one point
- 8:11Speaker 4: because I was laughing by myself and and she said,
- 8:16Speaker 4: what are you laughing at?
- 8:17Speaker 1: Now?
- 8:17Speaker 4: My wife is white, right, And there was only white
- 8:21Speaker 4: people at this wedding, and very good friends of ours,
- 8:24Speaker 4: one of my wife's childhood friends, and now there are neighbors,
- 8:27Speaker 4: so we're pretty close with them.
- 8:29Speaker 1: And there was.
- 8:31Speaker 4: One guy who was I couldn't stop laughing because I'm like,
- 8:35Speaker 4: that guy's making me think of him as a stereotype
- 8:39Speaker 4: because of the way he was. It was so horrible,
- 8:42Speaker 4: but he was having so much fun, and I really
- 8:44Speaker 4: loved it for that. But it was such the most nerdiest,
- 8:49Speaker 4: like corny dancing in the world.
- 8:52Speaker 1: You're there, You're like these fucking white people, and that
- 8:55Speaker 1: was the thing.
- 8:55Speaker 4: I'm like, they're forcing me to think this right now,
- 8:59Speaker 4: and the kind of like move around I didn't want
- 9:01Speaker 4: to just stand in the corner because then.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Well, let me ask you, though, when when when you
- 9:05Speaker 2: hear the term white people wedding or what like, what
- 9:09Speaker 2: what's a white person wedding song?
- 9:11Speaker 4: Like the Cubit shuffle? Let me throw the disclaimer out here.
- 9:14Speaker 4: I am fifty percent Irish, My mother is kil makes
- 9:17Speaker 4: sense honestly, Well, and I got the m chissel from
- 9:20Speaker 4: my dad who was behaving a Cuban.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Okay, well you're a mutt. You got a little bit
- 9:24Speaker 1: of everything. Yeah, the macarena like that is. But that's
- 9:28Speaker 1: interesting you say that because that's a Spanish song. How
- 9:31Speaker 1: could a Spanish song be a white person Spanish? Well, Markarna, Yeah.
- 9:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I thought that was a white person singing of Spanish.
- 9:37Speaker 1: No, it's by what's it by lost ele lost el
- 9:40Speaker 1: rios or something. Yeah.
- 9:42Speaker 4: Weddings force you to dance to songs that you wouldn't
- 9:46Speaker 4: play in your car if you heard it turn on,
- 9:48Speaker 4: you would immediately change the station on certain songs that
- 9:51Speaker 4: you hear at a wedding.
- 9:52Speaker 1: And but people are saying, come on, you gotta dance.
- 9:55Speaker 1: So I stopped being just sitting around you.
- 9:57Speaker 4: And you're like, but my body once to dance right now,
- 10:01Speaker 4: I'm in party mode, but they're not supplying with the
- 10:04Speaker 4: ears normally make the body dance to right.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:08Speaker 4: So yeah, i'd the Cupe it shuffle. You could just
- 10:12Speaker 4: punch me in the face and Joe right. Yeah.
- 10:15Speaker 1: There's a very.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Long list of songs that I'd be happy if I
- 10:18Speaker 2: had never heard, ever, ever, ever, again, what's number one
- 10:20Speaker 2: on that list? Keep shuffles up, Cupe shuffles up there.
- 10:23Speaker 2: But you know, everybody gets into it. And the one
- 10:24Speaker 2: thing I will say is again, when you're a DJ,
- 10:26Speaker 2: nobody gives a fuck about your opinion on the music.
- 10:29Speaker 1: You're not playing for yourself.
- 10:30Speaker 2: You're playing for other people, and you got to realize
- 10:32Speaker 2: that that's the most important thing to understand. However, I
- 10:36Speaker 2: will say that as much as I hate songs like
- 10:38Speaker 2: the cup of Shuffle, when you watch people respond to
- 10:41Speaker 2: it in a positive way, it makes it a lot
- 10:43Speaker 2: easier to swallow.
- 10:44Speaker 1: It makes it a lot easier to deal with.
- 10:46Speaker 2: As much as I love DJ and a good wedding
- 10:48Speaker 2: drunk people every weekend getting old.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Yeah, what about you get free food and all that
- 10:53Speaker 1: stuff though.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know, wedding food every weekend is nothing
- 10:55Speaker 2: right home about It's really not.
- 10:57Speaker 1: It's really not. Yeah, cold mixed vegetable and.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Yeah, by the time chicken Yeah yeah yeah, chicken, baked chicken,
- 11:07Speaker 2: and like some ZD way too much fucking sauce.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:12Speaker 2: But you know, I actually this season some of the
- 11:14Speaker 2: food has surprised me. Wedding a couple of weeks ago
- 11:16Speaker 2: had Mission Barbecue. Man, you ever have that stuff? Yeah,
- 11:20Speaker 2: Mission Barbecue sponsor our podcast.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Please please somebody, it's a good shown, he said.
- 11:25Speaker 4: I think and I'm not saying I know people, but
- 11:29Speaker 4: I'm pretty sure I know the guy who runs that.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Is that mister Mission or mister barbecue? Missus mission missus?
- 11:38Speaker 2: You tell her to call us. It's a him. He
- 11:43Speaker 2: goes by missus. What that's his first government name. His
- 11:46Speaker 2: name is missus Confused, Missus Paul. I don't know what
- 11:50Speaker 2: I'm saying.
- 11:52Speaker 1: I don't know who is what.
- 11:55Speaker 2: I think we should do the open Should I click
- 11:57Speaker 2: the open button?
- 11:57Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 11:58Speaker 3: Episode eighteen, our guest Doug the comedian, and I'm Becker
- 12:01Speaker 3: that soul.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Let's just start the show, why not, huh?
- 12:03Speaker 1: Miss Barbecue? Fire up for him or whatever.

- 12:31Speaker 1: Me? Yeah, I'm looking for a lighter right now.
- 12:33Speaker 4: I got one. Think, I'm sorry I did bring one
- 12:37Speaker 4: just in case.
- 12:38Speaker 1: What's that?
- 12:39Speaker 4: But that's more for like darn trivia. It's a little
- 12:42Speaker 4: pre roll. Oh cool, there you go.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Wow, he comes very prepared, our most prepared guest thus far,
- 12:47Speaker 2: though I actually forgot.
- 12:48Speaker 1: It was in my pockets all right now.
- 12:50Speaker 2: And you know, it's funny every week every week I
- 12:52Speaker 2: say the same thing, are you familiar with the podcasts?
- 12:54Speaker 1: Have you listened to the podcast? And every week the
- 12:56Speaker 1: guest says the same thing.
- 12:57Speaker 4: No, no, I'm not gonna eaven names, but I hate
- 13:00Speaker 4: when the people go I just wanted to be fresh.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, come in clean exactly exactly.
- 13:08Speaker 6: No.
- 13:08Speaker 3: We we like when people come to prepare it, you know,
- 13:10Speaker 3: and we like when people bring goodies and absolutely and
- 13:14Speaker 3: Joel doesn't like very many things.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Why do you say this? I think he just took
- 13:19Speaker 1: his head. Yes, I think because you don't. You don't
- 13:21Speaker 1: like many things. What does this mean? People tell me this?
- 13:23Speaker 1: What don't I like?
- 13:25Speaker 4: You don't like movies past an hour and a half. Wow,
- 13:28Speaker 4: he's really paid attention. And I do have a movie
- 13:31Speaker 4: that I think you'll like. Oh wow, it's a run
- 13:34Speaker 4: time of an hour and forty minutes, so you figure
- 13:37Speaker 4: ten minutes over. I think for the credits. It's a
- 13:41Speaker 4: Bill Paxson movie that he you know who Bill Packson is? Yes,
- 13:45Speaker 4: you actually brought him. I think you brought him up.
- 13:47Speaker 2: I know, I just don't know what you look Bill
- 13:50Speaker 2: pass and walk down the street next to me, I
- 13:52Speaker 2: wouldn't know who we were talking.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Well he passed away, now I hope Yeah, Yeah, I hope,
- 13:55Speaker 1: I hope, I hope.
- 13:56Speaker 3: I hope I got that right, because you don't want
- 13:58Speaker 3: to say somebody has passed away when they're not.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Oh.
- 14:01Speaker 4: You know what's funny, he's He was very good friends
- 14:03Speaker 4: with I believe James Cameron, who did True Lies and
- 14:07Speaker 4: The Terminator and all that, and he played a lot
- 14:10Speaker 4: of parts in those movies. He was the he is
- 14:13Speaker 4: the Terminators wearing his clothes.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Oh, wow. Yeah.
- 14:16Speaker 4: And when and when Arnold Schwarzenegger is naked and he
- 14:18Speaker 4: walks up to those guys. Yeah, yeah, he's the guy
- 14:20Speaker 4: that he doesn't kill and gives up his clothes.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:24Speaker 3: I never noticed that, not that he would ever have
- 14:26Speaker 3: any clue what we're talking about right now.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Look at him looking.
- 14:28Speaker 2: I'm looking for an as might have to go get one.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Where's that is that the cup that Bob was calling
- 14:34Speaker 4: a cup? Please hold.
- 14:40Speaker 3: And we're back, and we have a toilet that is
- 14:44Speaker 3: in the shape of a trash can or a I'm sorry,
- 14:47Speaker 3: a trash can. A toilet that is in the shape
- 14:51Speaker 3: of a ashtray or vice versa? Is a visa versa
- 14:55Speaker 3: or vice versa? People say visa versa.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I think it's vice versa. Yeah, what do people say?
- 15:02Speaker 1: But I think I do say vice versa. Question at all. Actually,
- 15:05Speaker 1: I don't think I say.
- 15:06Speaker 2: That vice versa or vice versa.
- 15:08Speaker 4: I'm really I'm really trying to think of something else
- 15:10Speaker 4: that I was like, what, I can't think of it.
- 15:14Speaker 2: I've been told that I don't know how to I'm
- 15:16Speaker 2: very bad at ashing and joint because I agree, yeah,
- 15:21Speaker 2: because when I asked it, it falls apart I don't
- 15:24Speaker 2: tap it, I like touch it and put it between
- 15:26Speaker 2: your fingers and yeah, all right, go ahead, all right, yeah.
- 15:30Speaker 1: The comedian against jokes. I don't tap it, I touch it.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Stand by that. That's all I need. I just need
- 15:38Speaker 1: to touch it once.
- 15:42Speaker 3: Well, man, we don't have to explain any of the
- 15:44Speaker 3: show to you, which is pretty awesome. We're going to
- 15:45Speaker 3: start with ten rapid round questions. Uh do you get
- 15:49Speaker 3: sixty seconds to answer those? And then we have questions
- 15:51Speaker 3: for each other, and then you can be one of
- 15:52Speaker 3: our lifelines. You want to start this show, Yeah, let's
- 15:55Speaker 3: do it. And you go to a lot of trivia events.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Well, and that was easy for you.
- 15:59Speaker 4: There was the one the one woman got she did
- 16:01Speaker 4: it within the sixty seconds, yes, and I think she
- 16:04Speaker 4: got one wrong. I think it was And I was like,
- 16:08Speaker 4: I really hope I do that. Well, and then I'm like,
- 16:11Speaker 4: you're gonna fucking bomb.
- 16:13Speaker 1: All right, let's do it. Let's do it. Okay, here
- 16:15Speaker 1: we go.

- 18:29Speaker 5: Yeah? I do?
- 18:31Speaker 2: See, I don't know. I don't Yeah you did, I
- 18:33Speaker 2: don't know. I think Batman, I think like the Dark
- 18:36Speaker 2: Knight back Man. Yeah, he was still offered in that though,
- 18:39Speaker 2: was he I don't know.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Was he either that? I don't remember that. We're going
- 18:44Speaker 1: to change this up.
- 18:44Speaker 3: It's played by Michael Caine, right, yeah, yeah, you'll got them.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Which his name, if you say it a weird way,
- 18:50Speaker 3: is like Michael Caine, Michael Mike Cocaine.

- 18:55Speaker 1: I just said that.
- 18:56Speaker 2: But anyway, believe you questioned six the square root of
- 18:59Speaker 2: six eight?
- 19:01Speaker 1: Yeah? How do people know the square roots? You just ama?

- 19:07Speaker 1: What number can you put? I guess four? I guess?
- 19:10Speaker 1: How come not?
- 19:11Speaker 4: No?
- 19:11Speaker 1: It has to be divisible by one or something. I
- 19:14Speaker 1: don't know.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Maybe I'm just like, it's whatever number time. It's times itself.
- 19:17Speaker 3: So a number of times itself is that? But I'm
- 19:20Speaker 3: very I'm more confused now than before. I ask the
- 19:23Speaker 3: question between YouTube.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Thank you. My brain just saw it.
- 19:26Speaker 2: That's the square root of sixty four? Eight times eight
- 19:30Speaker 2: is sixty four? Did I get all those under the
- 19:32Speaker 2: sixty seconds?
- 19:33Speaker 1: Oh?
- 19:33Speaker 2: Yeah, so I did just as good as her. Yeah,
- 19:35Speaker 2: pretty much got under the sixty seconds. And I was
- 19:38Speaker 2: bullshitting in the beginning because yeah, drop it ash.
- 19:40Speaker 1: On my floor.
- 19:42Speaker 3: I crouched than the floor. All Right, I'm more worried
- 19:45Speaker 3: about one thing than the other, that my floor.
- 19:46Speaker 7: Okay, now you're about to learn absolutely nothing.
- 19:52Speaker 5: Go blazed and Confused podcast.
- 19:55Speaker 1: You want me to ask her? You want me to
- 19:56Speaker 1: answer first, all right, I'll ask first. How about that? Okay?
- 20:02Speaker 1: Question number one? All right? I love these acronyms. Are
- 20:07Speaker 1: you good at acronyms? I yeah, and I always. I
- 20:12Speaker 1: can't believe.
- 20:12Speaker 4: I just saw live the moan he gave every time
- 20:15Speaker 4: you say acronyms, oh, every time I say anything. Really,
- 20:20Speaker 4: he's like, no, when every time you say we're gonna
- 20:24Speaker 4: try acronyms, oh god, And I saw it live.
- 20:27Speaker 1: That was amazing. He's picking you apart right now.
- 20:31Speaker 4: Yeah, you're welcome, Like, will play my ears for like
- 20:34Speaker 4: however long the pot split that between two days?
- 20:37Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 20:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I love that acronyms. What does SPF and sunscreen
- 20:43Speaker 3: stand for? Like SPF five, ten, four twenty geez?
- 20:49Speaker 2: I really don't know, but immediately I think what comes
- 20:53Speaker 2: to mind right away is sun protection formula.
- 20:58Speaker 3: Now, keep in mind, Doug is available for a lifeline,
- 21:00Speaker 3: but I don't want to blow it on the first one,
- 21:02Speaker 3: though sometimes you do.
- 21:04Speaker 2: And you know, you tell me on the horse, you
- 21:07Speaker 2: tell me that I should not go with sun protection
- 21:10Speaker 2: formula sun protection?
- 21:12Speaker 1: Work it out, sun protection? What not formula sun protection? Uh?
- 21:21Speaker 1: You know what it is? Dog film.
- 21:23Speaker 4: I don't want to. I don't want to coherse him no,
- 21:25Speaker 4: yes or no? This is he doesn't know what that
- 21:28Speaker 4: means I know what co hurts me. I'm a lifeline
- 21:32Speaker 4: that's just off camera.
- 21:34Speaker 1: All right. If you need me, I get a little
- 21:37Speaker 1: little box. What does s p F and sunscreen stand for?
- 21:43Speaker 2: I really don't want to blow my first the lifeline
- 21:46Speaker 2: on the first question, but I feel like if he
- 21:48Speaker 2: knows it, then I might have to because that's what
- 21:51Speaker 2: I'm going.
- 21:51Speaker 1: To get it wrong. All right, what is it? I
- 21:54Speaker 1: have no idea.
- 21:57Speaker 3: I still didn't blow give an answer, so I guess
- 22:00Speaker 3: you still can try it.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, we really did specify the rules. You know.
- 22:04Speaker 1: That was a tough question out the gate man. No
- 22:07Speaker 1: sun protection.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Formula film film? Why does film like keep some sun protection?
- 22:23Speaker 2: It's not a film? Okay, all right, I'll be there
- 22:28Speaker 2: sun protection formula.
- 22:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with formula.
- 22:30Speaker 2: All right.
- 22:31Speaker 1: You are right.
- 22:34Speaker 3: It stands for sun Protection Factor Factory.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Fact of like twenty or fifty or something.
- 22:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 22:42Speaker 4: Yeah, that makes sense now that I know it. It
- 22:45Speaker 4: makes a lot of sense. When you go to the beach,
- 22:46Speaker 4: do you wear that stuff?
- 22:48Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 22:48Speaker 2: I really should be wearing like SPI fucking one hundred
- 22:51Speaker 2: because I look like Casper the Ghost. But when I
- 22:54Speaker 2: go to the beach, This is the first. This is
- 22:55Speaker 2: the first summer in a long time that I had
- 22:57Speaker 2: no time to go to the beach. You were working,
- 22:59Speaker 2: you were grinding. I didn't go to the beach at
- 23:01Speaker 2: all this summer. I'm gonna have to go to the
- 23:02Speaker 2: beach in November when nobody's there, which honestly sounds kind
- 23:05Speaker 2: of nice, sounds good. I like that, Yeah, because I
- 23:08Speaker 2: don't swim anyway. I just want to like go to
- 23:10Speaker 2: the beach and be like, oh sweet, I'm at the beach.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Let's go home. Yeah, get to do your social media purposes,
- 23:15Speaker 1: and then you leave.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Yeah, take a picture I'm at the beach, and then
- 23:19Speaker 2: you post it in the car on the way home, you.
- 23:21Speaker 4: See, Yeah, for three hours of driving one way.
- 23:25Speaker 2: I'm telling you, I want a job where I just
- 23:27Speaker 2: drive around and listen to my ship all day long.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Listen to your ship, listen to my music. Oh your music. Yeah.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Like I would love to just drive.
- 23:34Speaker 2: To the beach, take a picture, and come home because
- 23:36Speaker 2: I love being in the car. I mean, like, I
- 23:37Speaker 2: really don't enjoy driving. But at the end of the day,
- 23:40Speaker 2: I do enjoy being car.
- 23:41Speaker 1: I do.
- 23:42Speaker 2: I like passaging, I do. But if I have to drive.
- 23:44Speaker 2: I am passenger.
- 23:46Speaker 1: I like, I like. I probably am not either, but
- 23:48Speaker 1: I like it.
- 23:49Speaker 3: It's very comfortable, so much so that anytime there's like
- 23:51Speaker 3: a footprint on my door, people know it's.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Him because he takes his shoes off. No, I don't
- 23:56Speaker 1: take my shoes off. This you do. I do not. Yes,
- 23:59Speaker 1: you you take your shoes off in his car. I
- 24:01Speaker 1: do where you're but Birkin Sacks is different.
- 24:05Speaker 4: Though your feet do not. You're not saying I have
- 24:08Speaker 4: not you, so you have done it at least once.
- 24:11Speaker 1: I mean I don't remember, but you do you think
- 24:14Speaker 1: it's possible that you did? Maybe?
- 24:16Speaker 2: As next question question too hates being wrong all right lyrics,
- 24:26Speaker 2: Oh god, I got the beck one wrong last week.
- 24:30Speaker 2: I'm gonna read these in a way so it doesn't
- 24:31Speaker 2: give it away. I have to figure all right.
- 24:33Speaker 3: Here we go, hugging and kissing, dancing and loving, wearing
- 24:37Speaker 3: next to nothing because it's hot as an oven.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Love shack ah fuck, yeah, damn it.
- 24:44Speaker 2: That Jimmy is when everybody move it around and around around.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Got that one right?
- 24:52Speaker 2: Not only did I get it right, I got it
- 24:54Speaker 2: very right. I got it very right, very fast, very fast.
- 24:56Speaker 2: I love that song. I love to be fifty. It's
- 24:59Speaker 2: just it's about to set sick. Question three, all.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Right, traditions, What major sporting event is traditionally held every
- 25:13Speaker 3: Memorial Day weekend? What major sporting event is traditionally held
- 25:19Speaker 3: every Memorial Day weekend?
- 25:22Speaker 1: All right?
- 25:25Speaker 2: So a couple contenders share in my brain, Kentucky Derby
- 25:28Speaker 2: might be that, right?
- 25:32Speaker 1: How you feeling over there? Can I say what I
- 25:35Speaker 1: think it is?
- 25:35Speaker 4: Now? No, just wondering if I don't know specifically, but
- 25:40Speaker 4: I do have an idea.
- 25:41Speaker 1: That's one of them.
- 25:42Speaker 2: And then there's about the another one, the Indianapolis five hundred?
- 25:45Speaker 2: Is that what they call it in five hundred?
- 25:47Speaker 1: Could be? Is it Indianapolis five hundred? Fucking smirked? Is that?
- 25:52Speaker 5: Why?
- 25:52Speaker 1: You? You get it right? That?
- 25:58Speaker 2: I believe you the Indy five hundre right? You your
- 26:02Speaker 2: way into that one, Thank you very much. I didn't
- 26:07Speaker 2: think you'd ever get that. That seems like a sport.
- 26:09Speaker 2: I mean, we went to the NASCAR race, guy switched.
- 26:11Speaker 2: I'll admit leading up to that, I was like, I
- 26:14Speaker 2: was not a NASCAR hater, but more so a doubter.
- 26:18Speaker 2: It doesn't look like fun to sit there and watch
- 26:20Speaker 2: cars go around in circles all day.
- 26:22Speaker 1: It was pretty cool. I'll take some of that. It
- 26:25Speaker 1: was fun.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Plus we had can you like ash this before you
- 26:28Speaker 2: hand it to I'm so sorry.
- 26:29Speaker 3: I don't have an ashtray over here? You have it
- 26:31Speaker 3: for I'm sorry. I'm sorry. You're right, I'm so sorry.
- 26:38Speaker 3: I was trying to be careful.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Sorry, buddy, how angry he gets?
- 26:43Speaker 1: He snaps. He's snappy, isn't he? But then he pulls
- 26:46Speaker 1: himself back. Yeah, he's like, what the I didn't mean
- 26:50Speaker 1: to you know? Thanks for good content?
- 26:54Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, great at my expense. Anyway, let's step
- 26:58Speaker 3: on him and then move on.
- 27:00Speaker 5: Question for twenty What what bird can't move their eyeballs?
- 27:11Speaker 2: What?
- 27:12Speaker 1: What bird? I can't move their eyeballs?
- 27:15Speaker 2: Oh, if my lifeline knows this, I'll take my lifeline's
- 27:20Speaker 2: opinion into account.
- 27:21Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 27:21Speaker 4: It's the last question too, So I had a very
- 27:24Speaker 4: strong guess on this one, very strong. I haven't been
- 27:30Speaker 4: I haven't been completely sure on any of these questions,
- 27:32Speaker 4: but this one, this one, just my brain is thinking
- 27:37Speaker 4: what bird would be able to? What bird would have
- 27:42Speaker 4: doesn't need to move their eyes? I guess that's move
- 27:45Speaker 4: its eyes or never closes its eyes can't move, yeah,
- 27:50Speaker 4: can't move its eyes. Yeah, so I'm thinking, like my head,
- 27:53Speaker 4: what bird doesn't need to actually move its eyes because
- 27:57Speaker 4: its head can probably move all those different ways.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Now you're giving them hints, all right? It was just
- 28:03Speaker 2: give me the fucking answer. Oh you're going to your lifeline?
- 28:05Speaker 5: All right?
- 28:05Speaker 1: Yeah? Is it an owl? Absolutely? Who does instead of
- 28:12Speaker 1: moving there?
- 28:13Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 28:13Speaker 1: I remember you thought it was cucko.
- 28:17Speaker 2: That's how you make me feel.
- 28:19Speaker 3: Instead of moving their eyes, owls have to turn their
- 28:22Speaker 3: entire head. They can look in like a I think
- 28:26Speaker 3: it's two hundred and seventy degrees almost, it's almost all
- 28:29Speaker 3: the way around. So, and they have really good sight.
- 28:32Speaker 3: I'm sorry, they have really good vision in general. But
- 28:35Speaker 3: they also have really good hearing. But they can't move
- 28:37Speaker 3: their eyeballs. There's just fixed like that, you know. Silliness.
- 28:41Speaker 3: Owls are cool. Yeah, they are pretty cool.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Yeah. I've ever seen one like in a person? Yeah,
- 28:45Speaker 1: of course?
- 28:45Speaker 4: Really?
- 28:46Speaker 1: Yeah, haven't you meet one? I never seen him in
- 28:50Speaker 1: the wild. Yeah, maybe I am.
- 28:53Speaker 2: I feel like there used to be an owl that
- 28:54Speaker 2: used to sit at my parents' house growing up, or
- 28:56Speaker 2: does that sound wrong?
- 28:57Speaker 1: There's owls around here right, Yeah for sure? Yeah, did
- 29:00Speaker 1: its eyes move? I don't know. I never got up
- 29:03Speaker 1: close to it to look. I don't think I believe you.
- 29:06Speaker 4: They're quiet as fuck, Like they can fly and make
- 29:09Speaker 4: no noise because they, you know, nocturnal, So they got
- 29:11Speaker 4: to catch like mice and they will swoop in and
- 29:14Speaker 4: the mouse won't even hear it. They've done like tests
- 29:16Speaker 4: of different now like really, fuck you up, I don't know,
- 29:20Speaker 4: I mean, not a human. They can give you a
- 29:22Speaker 4: good scratch, right a fucking all right? We should like
- 29:27Speaker 4: team up with the zoo and have some animals on
- 29:29Speaker 4: the one time.
- 29:29Speaker 2: You know, that'd be fun.
- 29:30Speaker 4: Yeah, picture a hawk like doing those hawks that like
- 29:33Speaker 4: shoot their body like when they when they dart down.
- 29:36Speaker 4: One of those things are this like they're gigantic, like
- 29:39Speaker 4: running at full speed into you.
- 29:42Speaker 1: I should have break bones. It's a little crazy. Maybe
- 29:45Speaker 1: we're not gonna have this.
- 29:46Speaker 4: We're thinking just we're thinking just the claws like going
- 29:49Speaker 4: in the eyes and the beak and the eyes, but
- 29:51Speaker 4: just that full speed coming at you one hundred and
- 29:54Speaker 4: eight miles per hour of a forty five pound.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Bird just gonna be the last show? Do it?
- 30:01Speaker 7: Sounds like trivia man, it's like the universe asking us questions,
- 30:07Speaker 7: you know, yeah, the Blazing Confused podcast.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna start with the current events question here,
- 30:15Speaker 2: and I'm gonna like bet that you're not gonna get
- 30:17Speaker 2: this correct.
- 30:18Speaker 1: But that's fine, Okay, it's all right, thanks this. I
- 30:21Speaker 1: just want to talk about it, okay. Question number one.

- 31:11Speaker 2: in the millions.
- 31:12Speaker 3: I'm gonna say like five hundred thousand dollars, five hundred

- 41:35Speaker 4: paper and puts in a bucket. This guy you pull
- 41:37Speaker 4: the bucket and make jokes about it. And I'm nervous
- 41:40Speaker 4: about it because I can't write for it.
- 41:41Speaker 1: Oh gotcha. But yeah, whole concept though, Yeah, I'm looking
