- 0:15Speaker 1: the crossroads at which they meet. Join me now and
- 0:18Speaker 1: we will explore these topics and so much more with
- 0:22Speaker 1: fascinating guests, authors and experts who will guide us to
- 0:28Speaker 1: Destination Unlimited. Most of us are familiar with astrological natal
- 0:39Speaker 1: that is, birth charts, but is there a chart for
- 0:42Speaker 1: when we leave this life? My guest this week on
- 0:46Speaker 1: Destination Unlimited, veteran astrologer Linda Moonrabbit Zlotnik, has a practice
- 0:52Speaker 1: she has refined through nearly two hundred sessions with grieving clients,
- 0:57Speaker 1: casting and reading the chart for the exact ZAC, date, time,
- 1:01Speaker 1: and place of a loved one's passing. Used with skill
- 1:05Speaker 1: and care, this death chart can reveal the deeper timing
- 1:09Speaker 1: of a death, illuminate its meaning, and offer a path
- 1:13Speaker 1: forward for the bereaved. Moon, as she likes to be called,
- 1:17Speaker 1: brings a relational, empathetic, practical, and perceptive approach to every
- 1:23Speaker 1: astrology session, Drawing upon poor decades of experience with clients.
- 1:28Speaker 1: She's regarded as a master astrologer and proudly embodies the
- 1:32Speaker 1: wisdom of the Wise Old Crone. She began practicing astrology
- 1:37Speaker 1: in nineteen seventy five, before undertaking formal training with Supora
- 1:42Speaker 1: Dobbins at the CCRs School in Los Angeles in nineteen
- 1:46Speaker 1: seventy nine. Since then, she has worked with clients full time,
- 1:51Speaker 1: taught astrology to beginners and experienced students alike, served on
- 1:55Speaker 1: the board of the pro sig Opa and Stars, and
- 1:59Speaker 1: a time tended numerous national and international conferences. Her website
- 2:05Speaker 1: is Astrology by Moonrabbit dot com, and she joins me
- 2:09Speaker 1: this week to share her path and new book Death Charts,
- 2:13Speaker 1: an astrological tool for the Bereaved. Please join me in
- 2:19Speaker 1: welcoming to Destination Unlimited. Linda Moonrabbit Zlotnik.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Welcome Moon Hey, good morning to you.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Thank you, and thank you so much for joining us
- 2:29Speaker 1: today and sharing this very important work of yours, which
- 2:32Speaker 1: I believe our listeners will really resonate with. Please share
- 2:36Speaker 1: with our listeners your path and how it led to
- 2:38Speaker 1: your passion for astrology.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Well, I consider myself to be very fortunate because when
- 2:46Speaker 2: I was in college back in the late sixties and
- 2:49Speaker 2: early seventies, a friend of mine asked me if I
- 2:53Speaker 2: would be a guinea pig and if they could practice
- 2:56Speaker 2: doing an astrological reading for me. It was very general
- 3:02Speaker 2: in some ways, but then just from having my date
- 3:06Speaker 2: of birth, not even my time or my place. She
- 3:09Speaker 2: mentioned something about when I was seventeen or eighteen that
- 3:12Speaker 2: she saw a dark cloud over my family. And at
- 3:17Speaker 2: that time, when I was seventeen, my mother died, which
- 3:21Speaker 2: of course created this black cloud over my family. And
- 3:24Speaker 2: I was really like deeply stunned and curious, and I
- 3:29Speaker 2: ran over to the library to look for astrology books
- 3:33Speaker 2: and there was exactly one in the Minneapolis Downtown Library.
- 3:38Speaker 2: But a few months later I found a metaphysical bookstore
- 3:42Speaker 2: and I just felt really really drawn to teach myself astrology.
- 3:50Speaker 1: And so, how did that proceed for you? How did
- 3:52Speaker 1: that career proceed?
- 3:54Speaker 2: Well? So I studied and I practiced on friends, and
- 3:59Speaker 2: after a couple of years, people would say things like,
- 4:01Speaker 2: you're really good at this, why aren't you charging money? So,
- 4:05Speaker 2: you know, I hadn't been out of college that long,
- 4:08Speaker 2: and I was kind of trying to figure out what
- 4:10Speaker 2: to do with my life. And so I got part
- 4:13Speaker 2: time jobs and I did astrology on this side, and
- 4:16Speaker 2: within a couple years I found a New Age bookstore
- 4:21Speaker 2: and they hired me to be there in house astrologer,
- 4:24Speaker 2: and my business just really took off. So I became
- 4:27Speaker 2: a full time astrologer, and you know, it's been a
- 4:31Speaker 2: lifelong passion for me. It's going on my fifth decade
- 4:35Speaker 2: and I can honestly say I've never stopped learning, I've
- 4:39Speaker 2: never stopped finding it interesting, and it just has been
- 4:44Speaker 2: this most rewarding kind of life journey.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Has anything surprised you in your career as an astrologer, Well, I.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Would have to say so many things have surprised me.
- 4:57Speaker 2: So when I started, well really, I mean they said
- 5:01Speaker 2: to me, oh, this is the devil's work, but like,
- 5:04Speaker 2: why are you doing this? And now astrology is a
- 5:08Speaker 2: very booming, popular, well accepted industry with people all over
- 5:14Speaker 2: the TikTok and Instagram, and so this has been a
- 5:20Speaker 2: great joy to me, not the part that there are
- 5:22Speaker 2: unqualified people doing it, but to see something that was
- 5:27Speaker 2: so meaningful to me and to watch it kind of
- 5:31Speaker 2: gain this acceptance. It's been really kind of a wonderful journey.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Congratulations on your just published best selling book, Death Charts,
- 5:41Speaker 1: an astrological tool for the Bereaved. What inspired you to
- 5:45Speaker 1: write that book.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Well, this is a book that I never imagined or
- 5:51Speaker 2: dreamed that I would actually be writing. But in two
- 5:55Speaker 2: thousand and five, my identical twin was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
- 6:00Speaker 2: And if you know anything about ovarian cancer, it usually
- 6:05Speaker 2: it doesn't present very well. And so it was stage
- 6:09Speaker 2: four and five months later she died. And I had
- 6:15Speaker 2: kind of a foresight because of something that was happening
- 6:19Speaker 2: in both of our charts. So when she called me
- 6:22Speaker 2: from the hospital, I knew that we would be separated.
- 6:26Speaker 2: So I really invested a lot of time and energy
- 6:31Speaker 2: to kind of journey with her through the illness, and
- 6:35Speaker 2: I was there when she died. It was what I
- 6:38Speaker 2: would call a very good death. She was surrounded by
- 6:41Speaker 2: people who loved her, telling her to go to the
- 6:43Speaker 2: light and that she would always be remembered, and being
- 6:48Speaker 2: an a scholarger at that point for thirty years. When
- 6:51Speaker 2: she took her last breath, I looked at the clock
- 6:54Speaker 2: and I thought, you know, at some point, you're going
- 6:57Speaker 2: to want to run a chart. Oh, I can't remember.
- 7:01Speaker 2: A couple months later, I I hadn't been working. I
- 7:06Speaker 2: was so broken and devastated. For a period of time,
- 7:10Speaker 2: but I felt ready to kind of use this tool
- 7:14Speaker 2: that had brought me so much kind of depth of
- 7:18Speaker 2: understanding about life. So I took the daytime and place
- 7:23Speaker 2: that she died, and I put it into my program,
- 7:26Speaker 2: which i'd only used for births, and it spit out
- 7:30Speaker 2: a chart, and I was so stunned that it looked
- 7:33Speaker 2: like any other birth chart. And then I realized at
- 7:38Speaker 2: that moment that there was some kind of a new
- 7:41Speaker 2: beginning in store for both of us, for my twin,
- 7:45Speaker 2: you know, in the great beyond, whatever that was, and
- 7:49Speaker 2: for me to live my life as a single time,
- 7:53Speaker 2: which when you're not only were we identical, but we
- 7:58Speaker 2: lived in the same town. She was just like a therapist.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I was an astrologer. We had some of the same friends.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Our lives were very, very embedded with each other, and
- 8:08Speaker 2: so this separation, it was something that I could never
- 8:13Speaker 2: ever have prepared for, but it really catapulted me into
- 8:18Speaker 2: this study. It didn't happen right away after I looked
- 8:21Speaker 2: at that chart for the moment she died, but over
- 8:25Speaker 2: the course of a few years, it kept bringing me
- 8:27Speaker 2: these kind of moments of brilliant insight. And I'll tell you, Victor,
- 8:34Speaker 2: there was one day I was looking at this chart
- 8:37Speaker 2: and there's a symbol and astrology, the south note of
- 8:40Speaker 2: the moon that was rising in this chart, and the
- 8:44Speaker 2: south note is a symbol of completion. I've thought about
- 8:49Speaker 2: it for years as kind of this energy just kind
- 8:53Speaker 2: of running out, and I thought, oh, this is a
- 8:56Speaker 2: very karmic symbol. I thought, oh, my twin complete did
- 9:00Speaker 2: what she came into this life to do. And even
- 9:04Speaker 2: though I wasn't ready for her to be gone, she
- 9:08Speaker 2: had completed her work. And it gave me this deep
- 9:10Speaker 2: kind of peacefulness.
- 9:13Speaker 1: As she wrote a book about this called Star Sisters,
- 9:16Speaker 1: An Astrological Memoir of twin Loss. What did you share
- 9:19Speaker 1: in that book?
- 9:21Speaker 2: So that book, Thank you for asking about it. That
- 9:24Speaker 2: book took me ten years to write. It was such
- 9:28Speaker 2: a labor of love. But it was kind of like
- 9:32Speaker 2: the story of growing up, what it is to be
- 9:36Speaker 2: a twin, and these shared experiences that we had, some
- 9:40Speaker 2: of which were very psychic, you know, and I do
- 9:43Speaker 2: think that's not uncommon with twins, you know, finishing each
- 9:47Speaker 2: other's sentences, or going and asking our parents the same
- 9:51Speaker 2: question at the same time, and kind of having this
- 9:55Speaker 2: unique attunement which I think really carried over into our careers.
- 10:00Speaker 2: So the first part of it is just the story
- 10:03Speaker 2: of growing up being a twin, and then a lot
- 10:06Speaker 2: of it focuses on when the wind was sick and
- 10:10Speaker 2: what was happening up in the heavens, and that it
- 10:13Speaker 2: introduces the death chart and weaves and kind of how
- 10:18Speaker 2: that was part of my recovery. So it's a memoir,
- 10:23Speaker 2: high bred astrology book.
- 10:26Speaker 1: On a personal note, what was her passing like for
- 10:30Speaker 1: you in terms of yourself? Did you feel it you
- 10:32Speaker 1: had lost a part of yourself?
- 10:34Speaker 2: Well, I absolutely felt like at the moment that she died.
- 10:41Speaker 2: I don't know how to explain it. So the closest
- 10:44Speaker 2: I can come is I felt like I was falling
- 10:48Speaker 2: from a very very great height with no bottom, you know,
- 10:53Speaker 2: and very luckily I had people around me who loved
- 10:57Speaker 2: me and kind of physically to me. But yes, it
- 11:03Speaker 2: was a distinct kind of marker point for both of us,
- 11:09Speaker 2: and that was reflected so clearly in that death chart.
- 11:14Speaker 2: So it was reflected as an absolute end for my
- 11:18Speaker 2: sister and a different kind of end and beginning for me.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Absolutely, So you had touched upon this briefly, What exactly
- 11:26Speaker 1: is a death chart, And why is it so different
- 11:30Speaker 1: from what people might imagine.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Yeah, so one of the kind of most upfront misunderstandings
- 11:38Speaker 2: people have when they see those two two words together,
- 11:42Speaker 2: death and chart, is they think, oh, can you predict
- 11:45Speaker 2: my death? Well, no, I don't really think anybody can
- 11:49Speaker 2: do that, nor what I ever want to. This is
- 11:53Speaker 2: a horoscope that's created for the daytime and place of
- 11:58Speaker 2: someone's department. And of course we all know that not
- 12:03Speaker 2: all deaths are as timed as births, so there's a
- 12:08Speaker 2: little wiggle room in there about the time. But it's
- 12:12Speaker 2: a horoscope that basically is full of symbols about the
- 12:18Speaker 2: energies at that moment or period of time that the
- 12:23Speaker 2: person is transitioning from this life to whatever is beyond us.
- 12:29Speaker 1: And again, you had touched upon this a little bit earlier.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Let's go a little deeper into it. How does it
- 12:34Speaker 1: actually work, the death chart.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Well, so this is what I've discovered I have and
- 12:39Speaker 2: this is in the book Death Charts, An Astrological Tool
- 12:43Speaker 2: for the Bereaved. Is I've discovered that there are three
- 12:48Speaker 2: really important kind of avenues that an astrologer or a
- 12:53Speaker 2: student of astrology can take because the birth chart is
- 12:59Speaker 2: bysically kind of this symbolic narrative of our entire lives.
- 13:05Speaker 2: And one of the things that was really profound for
- 13:09Speaker 2: me is that in all of the death charts that
- 13:13Speaker 2: I did, there would be a resonance in the person's
- 13:17Speaker 2: birth chart almost very specifically about, oh, at some time
- 13:24Speaker 2: this person could encounter this type of loss and like
- 13:29Speaker 2: a family member would show up differently than a spouse, uh,
- 13:35Speaker 2: sometimes a sibling would show up differently than a parent.
- 13:40Speaker 2: And so there's this beginning point in the birth chart,
- 13:44Speaker 2: and the fact is victory. You know, nobody gets through
- 13:47Speaker 2: an entire life without losing someone, you know, and unfortunately,
- 13:52Speaker 2: our society doesn't like really prepare us or give us
- 13:56Speaker 2: enough support around the fact that, you know, it's a
- 14:01Speaker 2: part of life that people die. So the birth chart
- 14:05Speaker 2: is kind of the anchor for me. And then there's
- 14:10Speaker 2: something that is just the death chart itself. That's the date, place,
- 14:16Speaker 2: and time, and that is it's so different than a
- 14:20Speaker 2: birth chart because you know, like you we can talk
- 14:25Speaker 2: about when you have the sun in Capricorn and that
- 14:27Speaker 2: will give you a lot of characteristics about who you
- 14:30Speaker 2: are and your personality and your character. But in the
- 14:33Speaker 2: death chart, the sun doesn't have anything to do with personality.
- 14:37Speaker 2: It has much more to do with the physical body.
- 14:41Speaker 2: And so like, if people have been ill for a
- 14:44Speaker 2: long time, that will show up in relationship to how
- 14:47Speaker 2: the sun is located. In the death chart, the moon
- 14:52Speaker 2: will have to do with the emotional experience of the
- 14:56Speaker 2: person as they were leaving. So a chart the moon
- 15:00Speaker 2: is all about your happiness and your needs and your family.
- 15:04Speaker 2: So I was able, by doing a couple hundred of
- 15:08Speaker 2: these to keep seeing these similarities and kind of redesigned
- 15:13Speaker 2: the information you would get in a birth chart, but
- 15:17Speaker 2: interpret it differently for a death chart.
- 15:21Speaker 1: And how did this technique come about for you?
- 15:23Speaker 2: So I'm a very I would call it experiential astrologer.
- 15:29Speaker 2: So my whole career, whenever I do a session with somebody,
- 15:32Speaker 2: I'm constantly listening to their experience and putting it into
- 15:39Speaker 2: my book of notes about how to interpret this. So
- 15:43Speaker 2: I took that same attitude towards death charts, and I
- 15:47Speaker 2: asked people tons of questions, especially if they were there,
- 15:52Speaker 2: you know, at the person's side when they died, or
- 15:56Speaker 2: even if they weren't. Some of the circumstances leading up
- 15:59Speaker 2: to the death and it became clear that's you know,
- 16:03Speaker 2: I don't know how else to explain it. It became
- 16:05Speaker 2: clear after a while that certain things symbolically would identify
- 16:11Speaker 2: aspects of what was going on during that person's passing.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Now, what is a buy real chart?
- 16:18Speaker 2: Yes, so that's where I was going next. Very good.
- 16:21Speaker 2: So most astrologers will use buy wills, and they'll do
- 16:25Speaker 2: a progress chart or a solar arc chart. And so
- 16:29Speaker 2: it's just where you have the two circles on top
- 16:31Speaker 2: of each other, and inside is the birth chart, and
- 16:34Speaker 2: in my buy will, on the outside is the death chart.
- 16:38Speaker 2: And so then you get the markers for what is
- 16:42Speaker 2: happening to your client during that period of time that
- 16:47Speaker 2: they're going through this loss. And I started studying solar
- 16:53Speaker 2: eclipses in the nineteen eighties. I was really really lucky
- 16:57Speaker 2: because there was a teacher in this New age bookstore
- 17:00Speaker 2: I was working who was She never wrote a book,
- 17:03Speaker 2: but she was really one of the leading people who
- 17:05Speaker 2: was investigating the impact that these biannual eclipses have on
- 17:11Speaker 2: people's charts. So I use the transits, I use the eclipses,
- 17:19Speaker 2: and that is kind of the cornerstone for the chart
- 17:23Speaker 2: in terms of what I would describe as the opportunities
- 17:28Speaker 2: for healing, the opportunities for transformation that are part of
- 17:34Speaker 2: the possible outcome for the person who's really suffering a loss.
- 17:40Speaker 1: You know. One of the things I shared this with
- 17:42Speaker 1: you before we started as an ordained interfaith minister. I've
- 17:46Speaker 1: officiated many many funerals, and one of the things that
- 17:50Speaker 1: I hear while I'm with the bereaved are things like,
- 17:53Speaker 1: I wish I had told them I loved them before
- 17:55Speaker 1: they past. I wish I had forgiven them or asked
- 17:58Speaker 1: for forgiveness speaker they passed. How important is that for
- 18:02Speaker 1: people to recognize? Now?
- 18:04Speaker 2: Well, I'm almost hearing two questions. So in every death
- 18:11Speaker 2: chart reading I've done, one of the things people always
- 18:15Speaker 2: talk about it's almost identical, is this kind of it's
- 18:22Speaker 2: kind of feeling guilty and having regrets. And sometimes I
- 18:30Speaker 2: think people are coming to us, like to you for
- 18:33Speaker 2: sure and to me, because there's no way out of that.
- 18:38Speaker 2: The person is gone. You can't bring them back this.
- 18:42Speaker 2: You know, death is immutable, it's unchangeable, and sometimes that
- 18:47Speaker 2: guilt can be a way of holding on to the person,
- 18:50Speaker 2: you know, like it just can be maybe unfortunate kind
- 18:56Speaker 2: of connection. But I also think that in your position
- 19:00Speaker 2: and in my position, a lot of what happens is ah, well,
- 19:07Speaker 2: this is a whole, much longer conversation. But the death
- 19:11Speaker 2: chart will so often reflect in pretty clear terms what
- 19:19Speaker 2: was going on for that person, that person who died,
- 19:24Speaker 2: and it will release some of the guilt for the
- 19:27Speaker 2: client because it will create this understanding that it was.
- 19:31Speaker 2: So it takes death out of the kind of mundane
- 19:35Speaker 2: life and it puts it into this much more kind
- 19:39Speaker 2: of etheric or cosmic or universal point of understanding.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Absolutely, and as I share with the bereaved and share
- 19:48Speaker 1: with the living, tomorrow is never guaranteed. If you love
- 19:51Speaker 1: someone and tell them today, if you feel that someone
- 19:54Speaker 1: has hurt you, try and forgive them today. Even if
- 19:57Speaker 1: you can't fully forgive, try and forgive, because forgiveness is
- 20:00Speaker 1: really for the forgiver and not necessarily for those who
- 20:03Speaker 1: need to be forgiven. Yes, and then and ultimately, and
- 20:05Speaker 1: if you feel you've heard someone ask for forgiveness today,
- 20:08Speaker 1: so important.
- 20:10Speaker 2: I totally agree. And I also believe that you know,
- 20:16Speaker 2: people on the other side can still feel us. You know,
- 20:23Speaker 2: I have had some very very amazing dreams with my
- 20:26Speaker 2: twin you know where I felt like it was a visit,
- 20:29Speaker 2: not really a dream, and so you know there's a
- 20:33Speaker 2: boundary there for sure, but I think sometimes you know
- 20:37Speaker 2: it's possible to make connections through that boundary and that
- 20:40Speaker 2: people can release their regrets, they can release some of
- 20:45Speaker 2: those feelings about I wish I had kind of you know.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Absolutely absolutely. My guest is Linda Moon Rabbit Vlotnik her
- 20:56Speaker 1: brand new book Death Charts, an astrological Too for the bereaved.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Moon Please share with our listeners where they can get

- 21:06Speaker 2: Yes, thank you. So my book is available through all booksellers.
- 21:11Speaker 2: I really recommend bookshop dot org, but you can get
- 21:16Speaker 2: it at Barnes and Noble, you can get it at Amazon,
- 21:19Speaker 2: and you can find out more about me through my
- 21:22Speaker 2: website Astrology Moonrabitt astrology dot com, Astrology by Moon Rabbit
- 21:28Speaker 2: dot com.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Sorry, not a problem. And you also offer sessions for
- 21:32Speaker 1: individuals who want to guide their body, mind and spirit
- 21:35Speaker 1: through life seasons. Please tell us more about that.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Well, most astrologers start out by doing birth charts, which
- 21:41Speaker 2: I do, uh, and then I do a one year
- 21:45Speaker 2: or a five year forecast, and forecasts in astrology are
- 21:51Speaker 2: not about exactly being able to predict the future, you know,
- 21:56Speaker 2: I mean, wouldn't it be lovely? You know if we
- 21:59Speaker 2: could like go to see somebody and they would print out.
- 22:02Speaker 2: And I know Veda astrology actually does this, but most
- 22:06Speaker 2: most of us practicing in this country don't. But if
- 22:08Speaker 2: they could print out, like you know, at this age,
- 22:11Speaker 2: this will happen, and then this will happen, and then
- 22:13Speaker 2: this will happen. But it's more about these returning cycles
- 22:18Speaker 2: of energy and so most of the planets will be
- 22:22Speaker 2: on kind of a rhythm. And if we look back
- 22:26Speaker 2: at different times in your life and kind of bring
- 22:29Speaker 2: forward what was going on and what you were learning,
- 22:32Speaker 2: often when they come around again, there will be what
- 22:34Speaker 2: I think of as the next chapter in that. So
- 22:39Speaker 2: I do forecasts. I do chart comparisons for couples, for families.
- 22:46Speaker 2: I do birth charts for babies. That's one of my
- 22:49Speaker 2: very favorite things to do. I have two children, and
- 22:53Speaker 2: of course I have their birth charts, and it's very
- 22:56Speaker 2: helpful to have this map that's kind of like, well,
- 23:00Speaker 2: this is this is who came in, you know, this
- 23:02Speaker 2: is their capabilities, their strengths. This is where they're going
- 23:06Speaker 2: to struggle, and you kind of can use that as
- 23:09Speaker 2: a parent to position things a certain way. And then
- 23:14Speaker 2: finally I offer death charts and that's I've just been
- 23:17Speaker 2: doing that for eleven years now.

- 24:21Speaker 1: Back on Destination Unlimited. My guest this week Linda Moon
- 24:26Speaker 1: Robert Zlotnik her brand new book Death Charts, An astrological
- 24:31Speaker 1: tool for the bereaved. Moon is the moment we leave
- 24:38Speaker 1: this world as spiritually significant as the moment we're born.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Well, this is a wonderful question, and I feel like
- 24:48Speaker 2: I don't have a definitive answer. I can tell you
- 24:52Speaker 2: a little bit about kind of my experience of the
- 24:57Speaker 2: chart in relationship to what I said with my twin,
- 25:01Speaker 2: and that's where this idea came to me, that the
- 25:06Speaker 2: death chart is an ending, but it's a different kind
- 25:09Speaker 2: of beginning as well. So this is for those of
- 25:13Speaker 2: you who know a little astrology. Okay, So when we
- 25:17Speaker 2: do a chart, when planets are so close to each
- 25:23Speaker 2: other within seconds, that's something that kind of springs to
- 25:27Speaker 2: the astrologer's attention, and sometimes it's called their encombust. In
- 25:34Speaker 2: my twins' death chart, the wounded healer archetype was opposite
- 25:41Speaker 2: the Sun and Saturn, and they were all within seconds
- 25:44Speaker 2: of each other, not even one degree apart, not even
- 25:49Speaker 2: a minute apart, within seconds of each other. And one
- 25:53Speaker 2: of the things about my twins journey at the very end,
- 25:57Speaker 2: I didn't realize it at the time is happening what
- 26:01Speaker 2: I would call now near death experiences. So I'd be
- 26:05Speaker 2: sitting in the room with her and I could feel
- 26:07Speaker 2: that she went somewhere, and when she would come back,
- 26:11Speaker 2: I would say to her, where did you go? And
- 26:13Speaker 2: she would talk about this place where all of her
- 26:16Speaker 2: pain went away, and there was this most beautiful music
- 26:20Speaker 2: beyond any beautiful music she'd ever heard in her life,
- 26:24Speaker 2: and everything. She called it the place of the Golden Light.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Everything was suffused with this golden light. And throughout this
- 26:33Speaker 2: was about five or six days of rotating people and
- 26:37Speaker 2: this care team sitting with her as she was kind
- 26:41Speaker 2: of journeying to the other side, and she would bring
- 26:44Speaker 2: back this incredible kind of peace with her. And so
- 26:49Speaker 2: in astrology, the wounded healer archetype is about the myth
- 26:54Speaker 2: of this being who heals other people through bringing compassion
- 27:01Speaker 2: and love and understanding to themselves. And I felt like
- 27:04Speaker 2: that's so exemplified, this kind of you know, leading up
- 27:09Speaker 2: to a moment of my twins passing, that everybody felt
- 27:14Speaker 2: like it was this tremendous gift. And I could say,
- 27:18Speaker 2: very honestly, like I'm not afraid to die. It's like
- 27:21Speaker 2: you know, it seems awfully beautiful now as opposed to
- 27:25Speaker 2: being so scary. And so in that chart, there were
- 27:29Speaker 2: a few other kinds of symbols that were highlighted that
- 27:34Speaker 2: kind of told this story. And so I believe for
- 27:38Speaker 2: other people that you know, there's a it's not the
- 27:43Speaker 2: same for everybody, but that there is some part of
- 27:48Speaker 2: there's energy that's so reflective of their experience and it
- 27:53Speaker 2: takes them again out of that everyday mind into this
- 27:57Speaker 2: alignment with something greater than themselves.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Can you talk a little more about the wounded healer.
- 28:03Speaker 1: That's something that fascinates me.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Okay, So in nineteen seventy nine, astronomers spotted this, you know,
- 28:12Speaker 2: something between Saturn and Uranus, and it was something apparently
- 28:21Speaker 2: that they figured out later that had broken off a
- 28:23Speaker 2: big chunk of a comet or something. But something new
- 28:26Speaker 2: entered our solar system, which is a very big deal,
- 28:29Speaker 2: you know, if you're an astronomer or an astrologer. So
- 28:33Speaker 2: astronomers map everything in the heavens and astrologers basically interpreted.
- 28:38Speaker 2: So for a while everybody was thinking, it's between these
- 28:41Speaker 2: two planets Saturn the super traditional, highly structured kind of
- 28:49Speaker 2: organizational energy and Uranus, which is the radical, innovative, creative
- 28:54Speaker 2: wild card. So for a while we were all thinking, oh, okay,
- 28:57Speaker 2: it's a bridge between those two parts of our energies,
- 29:01Speaker 2: and then uh, I think that I can't. I'm not
- 29:06Speaker 2: positive about Victor, but I think astronomers are a lot
- 29:10Speaker 2: to give these planets. Sometimes they give them letters and numbers.
- 29:15Speaker 2: But someone named it Kirn So we started studying this myth,
- 29:19Speaker 2: and it is a myth. Karen was the first centaur,
- 29:24Speaker 2: but all of the myths around him were that he
- 29:28Speaker 2: was a great healer. But in the myth, I don't
- 29:33Speaker 2: know how much time I should spend on this. Well,
- 29:36Speaker 2: he's poisoned. He's an immortal, so he's born. His dad
- 29:41Speaker 2: is Zeus, who both of his parents abandoned him at birth.
- 29:43Speaker 2: It's a long story, but anyway, he's wounded with his
- 29:46Speaker 2: poison arrow and there's no antidote for the poison, and
- 29:50Speaker 2: because he's an immortal, you know he'll never be free
- 29:54Speaker 2: of suffering. So yeah, he had all his skill with
- 29:58Speaker 2: herbs and he was trying to to heal himself by
- 30:01Speaker 2: finding an herb when he stumbles on Prometheus, who anchored
- 30:04Speaker 2: the gods by stealing fire to give to humanity, and Charen,
- 30:10Speaker 2: who had never really felt much compassion, sees this other
- 30:14Speaker 2: immortal being suffering and he decides he has to go
- 30:18Speaker 2: to the pantheon of Greek gods and ask them what
- 30:22Speaker 2: can I do to set Prometheus free? So they say,
- 30:25Speaker 2: if you can go to the underworld, Hades, and if
- 30:28Speaker 2: you can survive there for nine days, we'll alleviate all
- 30:31Speaker 2: human suffering. So somehow Karen is able to do that,
- 30:36Speaker 2: and he becomes this very very famous healer because of
- 30:41Speaker 2: his compassion. Right, And so in people's birth charts, you know,
- 30:47Speaker 2: everybody will have a wound, but that wound can become
- 30:52Speaker 2: a place where they go on to do something greater
- 30:56Speaker 2: than themselves. And I'm just going to use this Minnesota
- 30:59Speaker 2: home grown example, which is Patty Wetterling. So she's very
- 31:05Speaker 2: very well known here in Minnesota, and I think now
- 31:08Speaker 2: nationally because she started the Missing Children after her the
- 31:12Speaker 2: Missing Children on the milk curtains after her son, Jacob
- 31:17Speaker 2: Weterling was abducted. So terrible things can happen to people
- 31:22Speaker 2: and they can change the world so other people don't
- 31:26Speaker 2: have to suffer in the same way that they did.
- 31:29Speaker 2: And that's what Chiron's essence is about.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Absolutely, Thank you for sharing that. And I think our
- 31:35Speaker 1: world is crying for more of Chiron's type of person
- 31:40Speaker 1: and activity in this crazy world we're living in right now.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Thank you for sharing that that.
- 31:46Speaker 2: I so agree with you, you know. I mean, we're living
- 31:51Speaker 2: in pretty desperate.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Times, absolutely, and to extend ourselves to one another and
- 31:56Speaker 1: love and support and caring is so called for us,
- 32:00Speaker 1: so called for. So are there other cosmic fingerprints or
- 32:04Speaker 1: are there cosmic fingerprints surrounding every death?
- 32:11Speaker 2: Well, okay, my answer to that is yes. With something
- 32:19Speaker 2: just happened this last week where a mother came to
- 32:24Speaker 2: me about her son and she was so distraught and
- 32:29Speaker 2: I wish so desperately to help her, and I got
- 32:33Speaker 2: all the information and I couldn't. Really. Yeah, So I
- 32:38Speaker 2: would say ninety nine percent of the time, absolutely yes,
- 32:43Speaker 2: And I have seen things align in ways that if
- 32:48Speaker 2: I hadn't been doing this for so long, I would
- 32:50Speaker 2: be like, I still am surprised, but I would be
- 32:52Speaker 2: like really surprised. So can I give you an example please? Okay,
- 32:58Speaker 2: So this was a reading I did for a husband
- 33:03Speaker 2: and she and his wife met in college and they
- 33:07Speaker 2: got married and they had three children, and they both
- 33:11Speaker 2: worked in the mental health field. And when they were
- 33:16Speaker 2: in their middle forties, his wife's best friend needed a kidney,
- 33:20Speaker 2: and his wife was a match, so she said, sure,
- 33:23Speaker 2: I'll give you one of my kidneys. Unfortunately, during the operations,
- 33:27Speaker 2: something went wrong and she had a TBI, a traumatic
- 33:32Speaker 2: brain injury. So she came out of this surgery and
- 33:38Speaker 2: there was really very little bit anybody could do because
- 33:41Speaker 2: of what had happened, and her entire personality changed, and
- 33:46Speaker 2: so her kids kind of didn't want to have anything
- 33:50Speaker 2: to do with her and her colleagues and she couldn't work,
- 33:53Speaker 2: so her husband basically took care of her until she died.
- 33:58Speaker 2: So he sent me the in from and in the
- 34:02Speaker 2: birth chart, the symbol for the spouse for him was
- 34:08Speaker 2: right on the last red and then on the other
- 34:12Speaker 2: side of the chart as far away from him as
- 34:15Speaker 2: you could possibly get, or all of the other planets
- 34:18Speaker 2: in a little group. And I looked at that and
- 34:21Speaker 2: I said to him, you were all alone during this
- 34:23Speaker 2: whole blast time either wife's death, weren't you, And he
- 34:28Speaker 2: like prest into tears. It was like, oh, could that
- 34:31Speaker 2: have been part of the cosmic plan, So then we
- 34:34Speaker 2: had to talk about that, right, So it's you know,
- 34:39Speaker 2: it's some kind of an imprint for sure, there's a
- 34:44Speaker 2: you know that there's a piece of symbolism at that
- 34:47Speaker 2: point of departure that reflects what's happening, and it reflects
- 34:52Speaker 2: it sometimes physically, sometimes emotionally, and maybe sometimes even spiritually.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Thank you that was wonderful. Thank you for sharing that
- 35:03Speaker 1: you had touched upon this a little bit earlier. What
- 35:05Speaker 1: are the roles of eclipses, transits and aspect patterns in
- 35:10Speaker 1: the timing of loss?
- 35:12Speaker 2: Yeah, so, uh, I love to talk about eclipses. So
- 35:20Speaker 2: as an astrologer who now has been looking at people's
- 35:24Speaker 2: life experience for all these years, it's become very very
- 35:28Speaker 2: clear to me that we can like really work with
- 35:35Speaker 2: and be like in this collaborative, cooperative process with our
- 35:41Speaker 2: transits and creating our own life. So I'll use the
- 35:44Speaker 2: planet Saturn for an example. We get some version of
- 35:48Speaker 2: a Saturn transit every seven years. The whole cycle is
- 35:52Speaker 2: about twenty eight or twenty nine years, and Saturn is
- 35:56Speaker 2: kind of sometimes a feared and disliked planet in astrology
- 36:00Speaker 2: because it teaches people that they're responsible for their lives,
- 36:04Speaker 2: and if you want something, you have to do the work,
- 36:06Speaker 2: and sometimes things can take a long time, but you
- 36:09Speaker 2: have to have a commitment. And so often when we're
- 36:12Speaker 2: young and we get saddurn, it's like, you know what,
- 36:16Speaker 2: why does everything have to be so hard? You know,
- 36:18Speaker 2: like something's wrong and it's everybody else's fault. But then
- 36:22Speaker 2: gradually learn, oh, okay, I have to be more profoundly committed.
- 36:27Speaker 2: I have to be more disciplined. If I want this,
- 36:29Speaker 2: I'm going to do the work. And then you get
- 36:32Speaker 2: Sadden cycles and everything's kind of humming. It takes a
- 36:35Speaker 2: while and you do the work, but you get really
- 36:39Speaker 2: great results. Eclipses seem to operate completely completely outside of
- 36:46Speaker 2: our control. So events will happen that nobody would have
- 36:50Speaker 2: ever wished for, both good and bad. But they're in
- 36:56Speaker 2: that category of you know, this is something now that
- 37:00Speaker 2: you must respond to. You can't really collaborate with it,
- 37:06Speaker 2: and through your responding you become a changed person. And
- 37:13Speaker 2: I think of these solar eclipses as bringing more destined
- 37:19Speaker 2: events into people's lives, So something that you agree to
- 37:24Speaker 2: as part of your soul contract before you kind of
- 37:28Speaker 2: popped into this particular incarnation, and that can take us
- 37:33Speaker 2: on a whole other conversation.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Beyond could grief itself be a part of our soul's evolution?
- 37:42Speaker 2: So I absolutely think that it is part of our
- 37:46Speaker 2: soul's evolution if we are able to accept and really
- 37:53Speaker 2: feel the pain, if we're able to kind of really
- 37:58Speaker 2: just go you know how everybody says you can't go
- 38:00Speaker 2: around it, you have to go through it. So when
- 38:03Speaker 2: you go through grief, it transforms you and it becomes,
- 38:09Speaker 2: I think, a deeper evolutionary part of your life. So,
- 38:14Speaker 2: you know, I lost my mother when I was seventeen,
- 38:17Speaker 2: and that was a grief that wasn't addressed for years
- 38:21Speaker 2: and years, partly because it was the sixties. There were
- 38:24Speaker 2: no grief therapists. Nobody knew that, oh, you know, you
- 38:29Speaker 2: have to be sad, you have to be mad, you know,
- 38:32Speaker 2: you like have to go through all these different kinds
- 38:35Speaker 2: of phases of healing. So I learned a lot from
- 38:39Speaker 2: that loss about what didn't work because I had a
- 38:43Speaker 2: very severe depression and you know, things that now looking
- 38:47Speaker 2: back is kind of normal, you know, but it wasn't
- 38:51Speaker 2: recognized or treated. So when it became clear to me
- 38:56Speaker 2: that I would lose my twin, a commitment to myself
- 39:01Speaker 2: that I would just feel all my feelings, no matter
- 39:05Speaker 2: what they were, and that I would kind of lean
- 39:08Speaker 2: into the grief process. And it was agonizing, and it
- 39:13Speaker 2: took its own time, and it's still sometimes I still
- 39:17Speaker 2: get these waves of course missing my twin and feelings
- 39:21Speaker 2: the sadness. But I became a different person because of
- 39:29Speaker 2: having gone through that. And I do feel like when
- 39:33Speaker 2: I write about death charts, when I speak about death charts,
- 39:37Speaker 2: and when I'm in the process of doing these charts,
- 39:39Speaker 2: I feel my twin really really close to me, kind
- 39:42Speaker 2: of cheering.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Me in, which goes to our next point, which I
- 39:46Speaker 1: think you just addressed. Our loved ones leave behind more
- 39:49Speaker 1: than just memories.
- 39:52Speaker 2: So this is different for every person. But you know
- 39:56Speaker 2: now that I'm talking to people, and often it's even
- 40:00Speaker 2: maybe like four months, six months, a year after the
- 40:04Speaker 2: person has passed, a lot of people who come to
- 40:07Speaker 2: see me, they have that connection. Sometimes it's in a
- 40:14Speaker 2: traditional way, like they're finding dyings everywhere, or some people
- 40:19Speaker 2: will have like lights flicker on and off in their house,
- 40:23Speaker 2: or when my sister was dying, somebody brought uh chrysalis
- 40:31Speaker 2: for a monarch butterfly, and the butterfly broke out of
- 40:37Speaker 2: the crystalis. This was in another part of the house
- 40:40Speaker 2: as my twin was taking her last breath. So whenever
- 40:43Speaker 2: I see a monarch butterfly, you know it's hello time,
- 40:49Speaker 2: right you're close by. But I do think that if
- 40:53Speaker 2: people want it, there are ways to have an ongoing
- 40:57Speaker 2: connection with the people that we love.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Absolutely, if I may share with you, my mother passed
- 41:04Speaker 1: in twenty twenty and I was at her bedside when
- 41:07Speaker 1: she passed, and I was holding her hand and I
- 41:10Speaker 1: was basically urging her to go to my father, who
- 41:13Speaker 1: was in spirit. And as she was passing, I started
- 41:16Speaker 1: seeing a series of circles and rings. And in my life,
- 41:22Speaker 1: experiences like that have inspired poetry, and a poem came
- 41:25Speaker 1: through me called Circles and Rings, And if you'd like,
- 41:29Speaker 1: I share it with you now. It says the path
- 41:32Speaker 1: of great beauty and so many things, from atoms to galaxies,
- 41:36Speaker 1: circles and rings, natural wisdom that dwells there within from
- 41:42Speaker 1: not to three sixty, that magical spin. We circle each
- 41:46Speaker 1: other in Gravity's dance as Guaya, circles soul, the solar
- 41:51Speaker 1: romance as Luna circles us in life, giving motion, drawing
- 41:55Speaker 1: the tides and inner emotion. And the age of the
- 41:59Speaker 1: oak is found in its rings, as in woman and
- 42:02Speaker 1: man and all living things. And when the ring stop
- 42:06Speaker 1: and life comes to an end, we'll all circle back
- 42:10Speaker 1: and dance once again.
- 42:12Speaker 2: Oh, that is so lovely, Thank you, and it's very planetary.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Absolutely, I thought you'd enjoy it that way. My guest

- 43:02Speaker 1: Is back on Destination Unlimited. My guest this week, Linda
- 43:07Speaker 1: Moon Rabbit Slotnik, herd brand new book Death Charts, An
- 43:12Speaker 1: Astrological Tool for the Bereaved. Moon Why do some deaths
- 43:18Speaker 1: completely transform the people that are left behind.
- 43:25Speaker 2: Yes, such a good question, and it makes me think,
- 43:29Speaker 2: why do some deaths also really like freeze the people
- 43:35Speaker 2: left behind? And I mean I do so. One of
- 43:41Speaker 2: the chapters are one of the parts of the book
- 43:44Speaker 2: does talk about what I call like the issue of
- 43:48Speaker 2: resiliency for people in terms of recovery, and I break
- 43:54Speaker 2: it down into the fire, earth, Aaron, water signs, and
- 43:59Speaker 2: it's signs. Their very nature is to keep moving forward,
- 44:04Speaker 2: to have this kind of high energy and to kind
- 44:08Speaker 2: of feel like, Okay, there's something positive somewhere and I'm
- 44:12Speaker 2: not going to let this get me down. And this
- 44:14Speaker 2: is very general clearly because we're all a mix of
- 44:17Speaker 2: all of these four elements. But so fire and air
- 44:22Speaker 2: science error is more able to kind of intellectualize, and
- 44:26Speaker 2: they're more able to kind of detach, which sometimes means
- 44:30Speaker 2: that they're not kind of dealing with the emotional part.
- 44:35Speaker 2: But often when I do readings for people who have
- 44:37Speaker 2: a lot of fire and air, they're a little bit
- 44:41Speaker 2: more I'm just going to use this word resilient. But
- 44:45Speaker 2: people with earth and water, and especially with a lot
- 44:48Speaker 2: of water, water is so emotional and can get sometimes
- 44:53Speaker 2: so overwhelmed with the emotional that if there isn't you know,
- 45:00Speaker 2: some kind of anchoring or some kind of support that
- 45:05Speaker 2: people can't just everybody's so different with dealing with grief.
- 45:11Speaker 2: But I do think your basic birth chart kind of
- 45:14Speaker 2: will help an astrologer understand a little bit about what
- 45:17Speaker 2: you need when you're going through the process and a
- 45:22Speaker 2: little bit about why we're all dealing with that aftermath
- 45:27Speaker 2: so differently.
- 45:29Speaker 1: Is there evidence that our souls choose important moments in
- 45:33Speaker 1: our lives, including our departure?
- 45:38Speaker 2: Well, if the word evidence wasn't in there, I would say, well,
- 45:43Speaker 2: of course our souls choose all that, but I don't
- 45:47Speaker 2: quite know how you would gather evidence about that. So
- 45:52Speaker 2: if you said to me, do you believe, I would say, oh,
- 45:54Speaker 2: of course I do, But I don't know if any
- 45:57Speaker 2: of this is provable, right, So I have experiential kinds
- 46:03Speaker 2: of evidence from talking with people. There's a map I
- 46:09Speaker 2: see of the person they loved passing and is so
- 46:13Speaker 2: resonant with their experience, And so that gives me this feeling,
- 46:17Speaker 2: as my work does all the time, that we are
- 46:21Speaker 2: in this cosmic alignment, and you know, it all can
- 46:24Speaker 2: manifest in different ways. For people. But there's no doubt
- 46:27Speaker 2: in my mind that you know, yes, there's some kind
- 46:32Speaker 2: of a tunament here to these vast cosmic forces.
- 46:35Speaker 1: Wonderful. What have decades of studying depth charts revealed that
- 46:41Speaker 1: may have surprised you.
- 46:43Speaker 2: I don't know that there's a singular thing that has
- 46:46Speaker 2: surprised me. I would say when I first started doing them,
- 46:52Speaker 2: I was a tiny surprised that they were as resonant
- 46:57Speaker 2: as they were. No, Oh, I think I would have
- 47:01Speaker 2: to say, I just am struck by the usefulness of
- 47:06Speaker 2: the information that they exhibit. You know that I'm able
- 47:10Speaker 2: to glean and share with people.
- 47:14Speaker 1: Can astrology help people who believe they've received signs from
- 47:18Speaker 1: the other side?
- 47:20Speaker 2: Well, I think astrology can be very very affirming in
- 47:24Speaker 2: the sense that it is based in reincarnation. There is
- 47:31Speaker 2: an aspect to astrology that believes in an afterlife or
- 47:36Speaker 2: some connection with people or have passed into the grade beyond.
- 47:42Speaker 2: So I would have to say affirmative to.
- 47:44Speaker 1: That, and just out of curiosity, would it also show
- 47:49Speaker 1: someone who might be more receptive to that contact?
- 47:53Speaker 2: Yes, definitely, definitely, definitely. So I'll just say that there
- 47:58Speaker 2: is a planet Neptune which rules a sign Pisces and
- 48:03Speaker 2: is affiliated with the twelfth House, and that particular energy
- 48:08Speaker 2: in the chart is what we call the trance personal,
- 48:13Speaker 2: so that that which is greater than the self. And
- 48:16Speaker 2: so when that's evident in the death chart, when that's
- 48:20Speaker 2: evident in the client's birth chart, yes, people have a
- 48:25Speaker 2: really pretty easy time creating that connection.
- 48:30Speaker 1: And consequently those charts will also show those who are
- 48:33Speaker 1: born with intuitive gifts. Then yes, absolutely, And what happens
- 48:39Speaker 1: if the person is born with an intuitive gift and
- 48:42Speaker 1: their loved one who they're grieving also had intuitive gifts.
- 48:48Speaker 2: Well, So I have somebody that I've been working with
- 48:54Speaker 2: who is in what she would call a regular cone
- 49:01Speaker 2: with her beloved who's departed, and they were together for
- 49:05Speaker 2: fifty years, so you know, that's like enough time to
- 49:09Speaker 2: really know somebody very very well. But you know, whether
- 49:14Speaker 2: it's one hundred percent true or not, you know, she
- 49:20Speaker 2: hears her beloved departed its voice just giving her advice
- 49:25Speaker 2: and you know, coming to her in times of grief
- 49:29Speaker 2: and being reassuring, and you know, it could be a
- 49:32Speaker 2: really wonderful thing when that happens.
- 49:35Speaker 1: Absolutely. I know from a personal perspective that there have
- 49:41Speaker 1: been times, especially years ago when I was younger, that
- 49:44Speaker 1: I was contemplating something that was troubling me, and I
- 49:49Speaker 1: had the sensation that a hand was gently stroking me
- 49:52Speaker 1: on the top of my head when I would think
- 49:54Speaker 1: of an answer, and I knew it was my father.
- 49:56Speaker 2: Mm.
- 49:58Speaker 1: Absolutely, And and I'm continually I had mentioned my mother
- 50:02Speaker 1: passed in twenty twenty. When I'm also in a situation
- 50:05Speaker 1: where I'm troubled by something, I hear her voice and
- 50:09Speaker 1: she's immu an answer.
- 50:10Speaker 2: So you must have some of this Neptune pieces twelve
- 50:14Speaker 2: outh stuff too.
- 50:16Speaker 1: And it's just a wonderful gift to be able to
- 50:18Speaker 1: feel that reassurance from the other side. Yeah, is death
- 50:22Speaker 1: really an ending? I can answer this, and you can answer,
- 50:26Speaker 1: but is death really an ending or simply another beginning?
- 50:30Speaker 2: So I honestly believe that it's another beginning. And after
- 50:37Speaker 2: my twin died, I read every book on near death
- 50:41Speaker 2: experiences that I could find, and pretty much uniformly, people
- 50:48Speaker 2: had this experience slightly different, but of greeting their long
- 50:53Speaker 2: lost dead relatives, of being in some kind of a
- 50:58Speaker 2: place that was either you know, brightly lit, beautiful music,
- 51:06Speaker 2: some kind of spiritual being and because of practicing astrology
- 51:12Speaker 2: so long, I believe in reincarnation, and I also had
- 51:15Speaker 2: two pretty distinct past life memories, so I don't really
- 51:22Speaker 2: believe that this is the end. I believe that we
- 51:26Speaker 2: don't remember very much about what happened before. But I
- 51:31Speaker 2: do think we have a transition time after we die.
- 51:34Speaker 2: There's a lot of kind of deepening of the soul,
- 51:38Speaker 2: and then we come back onto the will of karma
- 51:40Speaker 2: for more education.
- 51:43Speaker 1: If someone listening has recently lost someone they loved, what
- 51:47Speaker 1: would you want them most to know?
- 51:50Speaker 2: Well, I think I would say to them that you
- 51:54Speaker 2: didn't do anything wrong and it wasn't your fault, and
- 51:58Speaker 2: that on deeper study, it was really part of that
- 52:04Speaker 2: person's life journey to move into the next level or
- 52:09Speaker 2: phase of existence.
- 52:13Speaker 1: And should someone actually think of that loved one who's
- 52:17Speaker 1: passed on and ask them a question or ask for communication.
- 52:23Speaker 2: I think that asking for communication is a wonderful thing
- 52:28Speaker 2: to do, and I'll just share with you I was
- 52:34Speaker 2: really I was so shocked when my twin died because
- 52:41Speaker 2: I couldn't feel her like I could when she was alive.
- 52:45Speaker 2: I could always feel her. I don't know how else
- 52:47Speaker 2: to describe that. And I thought, well, you know, we've
- 52:52Speaker 2: been so connected our whole lives, right, So it took
- 52:57Speaker 2: a long time, but I kept kind of I would
- 53:00Speaker 2: call it sending a little prayer, you know, please make contact,
- 53:05Speaker 2: Please make contact. And it took a whole year. It
- 53:09Speaker 2: was a little over year because it was on our birthday,
- 53:14Speaker 2: not three months after she died, but a year and
- 53:17Speaker 2: three months after she died. And she came to me
- 53:19Speaker 2: with what most people would call a dream, but it
- 53:22Speaker 2: was actually a visit. And the first thing she said
- 53:26Speaker 2: to me, she said, I'm sorry it took me so long,
- 53:28Speaker 2: but time is really different where I am now. And
- 53:32Speaker 2: then there was a bunch of other things, but I
- 53:33Speaker 2: just thought that was so useful, you know. And in
- 53:37Speaker 2: this visit, I mean we were hugging, I could feel her,
- 53:41Speaker 2: I could smell her shampoo.
- 53:43Speaker 4: You know.
- 53:44Speaker 2: It was like a real, embodied kind of experience, not
- 53:48Speaker 2: just one of those fleeting dreams.
- 53:53Speaker 1: And did that change your attitude toward death?
- 53:57Speaker 2: Well, her dying changed my attitude towards death. But yes,
- 54:01Speaker 2: having these visits and now I have more kind of
- 54:05Speaker 2: dream dreams. But yes, this whole process of starting to
- 54:11Speaker 2: work with people who are grieving and understanding more about
- 54:18Speaker 2: how loss without faith impacts people. Yes, it's been a
- 54:24Speaker 2: very big kind of change created change within me.
