- 0:02SPEAKER_01: All right, we're live.
- 0:04SPEAKER_01: Welcome to AI Made Simple.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: I'm Steve ROI Brown, your host, and here to help you implement AI, make it simple, so that you can get the lift and the outcomes that you want.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: So today what we're doing is um many many folks need images for their social media, they need images for their website, maybe a newsletter, etc.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: And so the the way that the model works right now is you have to you have to use stock photography or you have to hire someone that um will go out and take pictures for you.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: That's expensive.
- 0:54SPEAKER_01: Uh Adobe's expensive.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: There's a lot of uh there's a lot of investment for good images on a website or a newsletter or social media.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: So wouldn't it be cool?
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: Wouldn't it be cool if you had a uh custom GPT or a way to create these prompts that were on brand and that could help you um help you create images for your project, and that's what we're gonna do today.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna share my screen and I'm just showing you a couple of things here.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: But you're gonna walk away.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: We're gonna create a little project inside a chat GPT.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna show you how to um quickly assemble it.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: We'll do some demos, and uh you'll walk away today with a win and that you'll be able to at least create great prompts, put them in your image generator, whether it's ChatGPT, Grok, or Gemini, and come off with some free on-brand quality images for your project.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna share my screen now.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: If we can figure this out, all right.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: So I picked a I just picked an engineering firm, and this is just a typical example where a company wants to demonstrate their capabilities and give you a feel about their um services, their projects to example.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: So these images are typical.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: You need something to show and help um catch the eye, give off personality, um, communicate effectiveness, authority.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: And so for every, these are blogs that they posted, and so they need an image to support these.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: Well, the this takes a lot of time.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: You can spend 20-30 minutes in a um um a tool like Adobe going through and looking for all sorts of images that would be on on brand that would be approved, but when you start to look at the pricing on these things, it's um it's like well, all right, so photography, what do I need?
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: They package these together, it's confusing, and and it's expensive for someone like us that that uh runs runs an agency, it can be uh quite expensive.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: You have to pay for a license for each member, etc.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: And so that's um today you're gonna learn you have options on this, you can do something different.
- 3:56SPEAKER_01: And so, what do we want to do?
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: So, first of all, we're going to we're gonna create a um a prompt generator.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: So, today today we're gonna go into inside of Chat GPT, you have what are called projects.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: And so, I'm gonna show you how to set up a project.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: You just come set up a new project, name it, name it your brand, your your company, and then you want an on-brand image prompt generator.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: And so I've I've created one just using my my company as an example today.
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: So, we're gonna create that.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: We're gonna learn what kind of project files you need to put in and the instructions that you need to give it to create you um prompts that you'll be able to pop into um chat GPT.
- 4:47SPEAKER_01: You can bring it in, ask it to design an image, you can do it in Grok as well, and then in Gemini.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: So we're gonna do, we're gonna run these through these three engines just to get a diverse uh output, and then you're gonna see you're gonna see how maybe this would be a great solution for you.
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: All right, so what do we want to do?
- 5:11SPEAKER_01: Well, one of the keys of success of using these tools is to have a great have a great prompt.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: And you want it to um basically a prompt is uh think of a prompt as a job description.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: If you were to hire someone, what do you what do you do?
- 5:31SPEAKER_01: You well, we have to create a job, we have to define a role of a job.
- 5:36SPEAKER_01: What's the job description?
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: What do I expect of this position?
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: What does success look like, etc.?
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: Well, that's an awesome prompt if you think about it that way.
- 5:47SPEAKER_01: And then the other thing that you want to do is we want to create um files, example work uh standards that anytime we put in a a um a prompt or an expectation or a command that it's gonna first research what's going on here, it's gonna see what role it needs to do, and then it's gonna start generating output.
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: And so when we think of a bulletproof image prompt, it's a little bit different than um a content prompt.
- 6:20SPEAKER_01: An image prompt, you have to think like a photographer.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: And if you're like me, you're not a photographer, I admire photographers.
- 6:29SPEAKER_01: I'm just amazed at some of the great uh things.
- 6:31SPEAKER_01: Their eyes just understand lighting, uh, perspective, background, in you know, where to place folks.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: This is uh a whole nother uh expertise that I just don't uh have.
- 6:46SPEAKER_01: But what you can do is expect you can expect this, your brand image prompt generator to have that expertise, to have that uh way about looking things.
- 7:00SPEAKER_01: And not only so, imagine if you were to hire someone that was great at photography, that was inculcated with your brand, they understood your products, your services, and then they understood the assignment.
- 7:14SPEAKER_01: What's the aspirational image that we're trying to uh convey here with the you know the what's the end result of the solution being embodied by an image that connects the dots when we're thinking about these blogs, right?
- 7:31SPEAKER_01: Or a web page for a service page.
- 7:34SPEAKER_01: So we want to first of all the pillars of uh the five pillars of a bulletproof image prompt framework, we want to lock in your brand DNA up front.
- 7:45SPEAKER_01: So we want a concise cheat sheet that that has what you you're promised, your archetype, your colors, your visual.
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: This becomes the lens, every prompt passes through.
- 7:56SPEAKER_01: So outputs stay on brand.
- 8:00SPEAKER_01: It's pretty powerful.
- 8:01SPEAKER_01: You know what the problem with digging through Adobe is you have to know, oh, this fits our brand, it doesn't.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: Adobe doesn't know it.
- 8:09SPEAKER_01: Adobe's just bringing you a bunch of things to choose from, but you have to segment, you have to dial in, you have to understand these things.
- 8:17SPEAKER_01: So we're just flipping it.
- 8:19SPEAKER_01: Let's have a let's have this engine, this image generator that just brings it to us exactly what we need.
- 8:27SPEAKER_01: The demand, one critical variable.
- 8:29SPEAKER_01: So it's like, hey, um, what size the image?
- 8:33SPEAKER_01: Where is this being used?
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: Is this social media?
- 8:35SPEAKER_01: Is it a banner image?
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: Is it uh, you know, is it a portrait?
- 8:39SPEAKER_01: What do you need?
- 8:41SPEAKER_01: Then we want some output.
- 8:42SPEAKER_01: We'd like to have six choices to choose from.
- 8:46SPEAKER_01: I would like to read, you know, what those choices are because that gives me more control.
- 8:51SPEAKER_01: And I'll show you what I'm talking about.
- 8:53SPEAKER_01: And then it wants you want it to come out in a uniform structure.
- 8:57SPEAKER_01: So you can just copy and paste and get get busy.
- 9:01SPEAKER_01: So we're cutting down 20-30 minutes per image into just a few minutes per image.
- 9:08SPEAKER_01: Then we want these uh prompt quality rules, you know, where it always follows it, the mood lighting, what's the human outcome, etc.
- 9:18SPEAKER_01: You want, you know, basically, we're not we don't care what Google thinks, we care what your end user thinks, right?
- 9:24SPEAKER_01: They need to, when they see this image, they need to see themselves in the future with your solution.
- 9:32SPEAKER_01: So these are these are the items that we want to consider when we're building this prompt.
- 9:38SPEAKER_01: The next, we want to get go and get your brand personality guidelines.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: You need this guideline just for your brand.
- 9:46SPEAKER_01: What's the personality of your brand?
- 9:47SPEAKER_01: I'll show you how to do this in a minute, and then also what's your brand image guideline?
- 9:53SPEAKER_01: Okay, so one of the ways that you can do this, and I I did this already, but imagine going to your website.
- 10:02SPEAKER_01: You can just go to your website.
- 10:04SPEAKER_01: So let's go, let's do it this.
- 10:07SPEAKER_01: So let's do, I'll just sh demonstrate this.
- 10:11SPEAKER_01: We'll go to this company.
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: I don't know these people, I just was looking for an example website.
- 10:20SPEAKER_01: So this is an engineering firm somewhere, kdengineering.com.
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: So I'm going to copy this.
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: But what's cool is you can come over and just ask, just go set up a new chat.
- 10:34SPEAKER_01: I love running the O3 model, it's just really intuitive, it uses advanced reasoning.
- 10:39SPEAKER_01: But I I would just go like uh uh give me just give me the um brand style guide for this um company.
- 11:00SPEAKER_01: Just put the URL URL image in.
- 11:04SPEAKER_01: You could ask it to run deep search, but I don't think you need that because we we want to um deep research going to take a lot of time, and this is for example purposes, so it's analyzing that brand style from the website.
- 11:20SPEAKER_01: It's pretty cool that the the model can go and study this and it's gonna bring back uh a list of the assets and how to how to how to look at this brand.
- 11:34SPEAKER_01: And by the way, if you're getting a little value out of this, it'd mean a lot if you could like uh like or subscribe or or share this with someone, that's would be huge because these uh these platforms, Facebook, LinkedIn, um, YouTube, X, they're all managed by uh AI algorithms.
- 11:57SPEAKER_01: And when you when you give an indicator like a like or a subscribe, it's telling the algorithm, hey, this uh this content's being useful or been found uh uh positive, and it may recommend it to folks that uh look like you.
- 12:16SPEAKER_01: So you can see how it's uh going through and studying this.
- 12:21SPEAKER_01: So we'll come back, but what I'm gonna expect to see the outcome is it's going to have a list of items.
- 12:31SPEAKER_01: So I found it really cool.
- 12:33SPEAKER_01: It went out and found the core archetype.
- 12:37SPEAKER_01: Um, and this did this for ROI online, my uh my agency.
- 12:44SPEAKER_01: So it came back with the archetype, the personality, the five traits, straight talking, systems-minded, human-centered, future-focused, slightly rebellious.
- 12:54SPEAKER_01: I don't know where it's getting that.
- 12:57SPEAKER_01: But then it went through all these areas.
- 13:01SPEAKER_01: So it brought back language do's and don'ts, signature phrases, writing style rules, visual cues, emotional guardrails.
- 13:11SPEAKER_01: So we just take that from the output.
- 13:14SPEAKER_01: Here we go.
- 13:15SPEAKER_01: We've got some stuff coming in.
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: So all I did was I studied it a little bit, but you know your your brand, and you would go, okay, I like this.
- 13:26SPEAKER_01: This is right on point.
- 13:28SPEAKER_01: So you just come down, copy it, you would create a document.
- 13:33SPEAKER_01: Okay, you would create a document just like this, and then you're gonna bring it into you're gonna bring it into your project.
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: So this is where you would upload into the file.
- 13:53SPEAKER_01: So when when you look at this project, these are big levers.
- 13:57SPEAKER_01: The biggest lever here is what's the role that I want you to assume.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: I'll show you how to create that in just a second.
- 14:04SPEAKER_01: And then you would bring in the files that you want it to consider.
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: So every time you give it a command, it's gonna go, what's how do I uh approach this command?
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: And then it's gonna go study these, make sure it stays on point, and then it's gonna then it's gonna start generating output based on that.
- 14:26SPEAKER_01: So that you do the same thing with an image.
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: So if I was to go back and say, hey, um uh very good, come down here to the prompt, where'd I go?
- 14:50SPEAKER_01: There we go.
- 14:51SPEAKER_01: So come down here, then I'm gonna go, all right, now uh now give me a an image brand guideline.
- 15:05SPEAKER_01: So it's gonna come back with a very specific image style based on based on um uh this website, assuming assuming that we like this, right?
- 15:20unknown: Okay.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: All right, so I haven't been sharing my screen.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: I apologize here.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: We go, sorry.
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: All right, now you're at catch-up speed, so this is Adobe.
- 15:51SPEAKER_01: You can see the pricing on here for the model.
- 15:54SPEAKER_01: Okay, so now we're back to we're creating these image guidelines, and you can see here yes, you can see the image guidelines that the model can create.
- 16:12SPEAKER_01: So we went through, we looked at uh uh KDM engineering, we asked for the brand essence, for example, then we brought in and we asked for the uh image guidelines, and so you would take those and in the in your project, you would bring those in.
- 16:36SPEAKER_01: So you just go create documents, import them, and pull them in.
- 16:39SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 16:41SPEAKER_01: Then for the instructions, you would have a lot of um, you'd have a little bit back and forth, but you know, a great prompt on here, like I said, is like a a job description.
- 16:55SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna zoom in a little bit.
- 16:57SPEAKER_01: And so this is, you know, what am I expecting of you?
- 17:02SPEAKER_01: An assistant that crafts six on-brand royalty-free image generation prompts for any marketing text the user provides.
- 17:10SPEAKER_01: So the intent of this is I want to go, I want to go over here and I want to get some content from my website, right?
- 17:19SPEAKER_01: And what I'm expecting is to be able to pop it in and then it read my mind on what I want and the style of image it needs to generate, and so it'll print come in here.
- 17:35SPEAKER_01: So it's just very specific about what you want.
- 17:40SPEAKER_01: So you go go back and forth a little bit, and then you get it to where it will uh do this, and you can ping me, and I'd be happy to show you how to um get this prompt done.
- 17:57SPEAKER_01: But you just just expect it to take the position of someone that knows your brand, understands what you want, and helps you create the images.
- 18:08SPEAKER_01: Okay, so let's um let's start putting this thing to use now.
- 18:16SPEAKER_01: All right, so what we're gonna do is um you can see we have a style guide, we've got some services, etc.
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: But I I just wanted to give you a shot.
- 18:33SPEAKER_01: So we have a service called Clarity Sessions, and it's like let's get let's get let's get clear on what we need to do strategically.
- 18:48SPEAKER_01: So what I'm gonna do is I put this in here.
- 18:51SPEAKER_01: We got their project files, we got our instructions.
- 18:54SPEAKER_01: So let's see what are we expecting?
- 18:58SPEAKER_01: You can see it's reading the documents, and then it's um then it asks me.
- 19:07SPEAKER_01: See how I didn't tell it what size.
- 19:08SPEAKER_01: So let's say I want a let's say I want a hero banner for this.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: So I answer the question and ask for clarification because it wants to create the asset where it's down down at the end, will be able to download and go and be used immediately.
- 19:37SPEAKER_01: So my expectations I'm gonna have six versions of a prompt that's created to make these uh models bring back assets that I don't need to go to Adobe or or equivalent to um find.
- 19:57SPEAKER_01: In the meantime, we're gonna be putting it into Chat GPT with the O3 model.
- 20:03SPEAKER_01: We're gonna prompt it with an image, we're gonna test uh Supergroc, and we're gonna test Gemini.
- 20:12SPEAKER_01: I have favorite here.
- 20:15SPEAKER_01: All right, here we go.
- 20:16SPEAKER_01: So, what what I like about this is you can go through, and we've got six options here, and what we're doing is going, oh, I like that.
- 20:28SPEAKER_01: I like this idea.
- 20:29SPEAKER_01: A small business owner at Don let Loft Office smiling as a clean roadmap appears on wall monitor, warm authentic glow, slate, blue brick, subtle roi orange, post-it marketing.
- 20:46SPEAKER_01: Next big all right, so let's just go see what happens here.
- 20:53SPEAKER_01: Okay, I'm popping it in.
- 20:54SPEAKER_01: Oh, by the way, so this is just a chat.
- 20:59SPEAKER_01: I started here.
- 21:02SPEAKER_01: I started a new chat, and I wanted to I did this because I wanted to show you.
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: This is this image.
- 21:10SPEAKER_01: I just popped it in here and I didn't give it any instruction.
- 21:14SPEAKER_01: I just took some text from that KDM uh website, and I just put it in there and told it to make an image.
- 21:21SPEAKER_01: Well, this is what it came out with, okay?
- 21:23SPEAKER_01: A little generic, not specific.
- 21:26SPEAKER_01: This is an image you probably wouldn't use because it's confusing.
- 21:29SPEAKER_01: It's it shows some people, it got the gist of what I'm wanting, but it's not good enough.
- 21:34SPEAKER_01: It's not on brand, right?
- 21:36SPEAKER_01: See, we don't have any branding, colors, etc.
- 21:40SPEAKER_01: And so let's go in here, let's start a new chat.
- 21:45SPEAKER_01: We're gonna tell it to do uh create an image.
- 21:51SPEAKER_01: So I'm just gonna pop this in here and we're gonna see what.
- 21:54SPEAKER_01: So this is the prompt written for us, so we don't have to be a brilliant.
- 22:01SPEAKER_01: Uh photographer.
- 22:03SPEAKER_01: We're going to put this in Grok.
- 22:05SPEAKER_01: Let's see what Grok comes up with.
- 22:11SPEAKER_01: And then we're going to go over here to Gemini.
- 22:13SPEAKER_01: We're going to pop it into Gemini.
- 22:15SPEAKER_01: Same thing.
- 22:17SPEAKER_01: What's going on?
- 22:18SPEAKER_01: So let's just see what happens.
- 22:21SPEAKER_01: Out of these models, you'll see that Grok is the fastest.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: So here's our small business owner at Don.
- 22:30SPEAKER_01: And a Don lit office.
- 22:31SPEAKER_01: You see that it got that smiling as a clean roadmap appears on a wall monitor.
- 22:38SPEAKER_01: In the back, it gives us two versions.
- 22:45SPEAKER_01: But it's still, it's not bad, but it's not not what I want.
- 22:50SPEAKER_01: Chat GPT takes a long time to create these.
- 22:56SPEAKER_01: Now look at the detail that Gemini gives us.
- 23:02SPEAKER_01: So there's our road map, road path.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: So it spells like um spells like me.
- 23:12SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna say uh I'm gonna say update it with road roadmap instead of road path.
- 23:33SPEAKER_01: So these models are still struggling a little bit on uh getting the text right, but they're getting better and better.
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: Used to be you could tell the AI image because of the um uh hands, but are still just they're still struggling.
- 23:52SPEAKER_01: Here we go.
- 23:52SPEAKER_01: So what do we got?
- 23:54SPEAKER_01: All right, we got the dawn lit, we got the blue, there's a roadmap, start cornization, cornetzation, whatever that means.
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: Okay, so you can see our three different versions.
- 24:17SPEAKER_01: Now let's go here.
- 24:20SPEAKER_01: So, what you would do on this is um in this, if I was to improve this and I'm seeing that the models are struggling with the uh roadmap info, then I would redo that prompt and just say um um say a clean roadmap.
- 25:00SPEAKER_01: Oh impression.
- 25:02SPEAKER_01: Let's say impression.
- 25:05SPEAKER_00: So you can tweak these tweak these or you can take it off all together.
- 25:27SPEAKER_00: What did that just say?
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: There we go.
- 25:52SPEAKER_01: So my brand is a little bit difficult here in that it's wanting some um it's wanting some details in the the branding.
- 26:07SPEAKER_01: So when you see that the images are just falling a little bit short, then take out that one little detail of the prompt or improve the prompt.
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: All right, so let's go here, let's close this.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: We'll start this new one here.
- 26:38SPEAKER_01: You want several options.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: All right, so Chat GPT is slow, grok is fast, but misses some details.
- 26:56SPEAKER_01: This is just not uh just not picking it up.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: Growth.
- 27:04SPEAKER_01: So we got Groot going on, and so these are a little bit uh what I would say.
- 27:10SPEAKER_01: All right, so I'm gonna say this.
- 27:16SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna say these are to cliche, be more creative.
- 27:29SPEAKER_01: All right, so finally, ChatGPT came out.
- 27:37SPEAKER_01: Start step one, two, we got to the goal, we got to our ROI.
- 27:43SPEAKER_00: But the main thing is not to not uh the main thing is to give you options.
- 27:52SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: So let's let's see let's see what Gemini does with this.
- 28:13SPEAKER_01: But what you what's important here is that you see you have your creative the lever here you have with these is to be creative.
- 28:30SPEAKER_01: So this is this is interesting, but I would take out maybe things that are you know it's getting the gist of what you want, but if you don't want it to look like that movie with Tom Cruise, I forget the name of that movie or the ROI, then tell it to take it out.
- 28:48SPEAKER_01: The um earlier when I was prepping for this, we were getting some really good images that were coming from these different prompts.
- 29:04SPEAKER_01: This was cool.
- 29:05SPEAKER_01: See, it got the the ROI orange.
- 29:09SPEAKER_01: Then I asked it to I asked it to all right, so give me one with the mail.
- 29:15SPEAKER_01: So it gave me one with the mail.
- 29:21SPEAKER_00: What you can do is like let's get this prompt and I brought it.
- 29:38SPEAKER_01: Put that in.
- 29:39SPEAKER_01: So let's see what it generates now.
- 29:44SPEAKER_00: Go back and check on um where do we go?
- 29:53SPEAKER_00: Okay, we want this going on.
- 30:16SPEAKER_01: You see the the quality of this pr is really good, and then if I wanted to, I'd say, all right, um can you make her make her uh ten years older?
- 30:40SPEAKER_00: So you get the gist of of what we're able to do.
