- 0:37Speaker 3: I talk with me as I'm Italian. They can't help it.
- 0:39Speaker 2: It's the passion.
- 0:40Speaker 3: Yes, you need to physically see it, right, You need
- 0:43Speaker 3: to physical see my passion in my hands when I'm speaking.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Yeah, especially when I'm angry. I'm like, my voice is
- 0:48Speaker 2: not enough to.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Let you know that my fingers you need to mean
- 0:53Speaker 3: like my kids know what I'm mayor. This is the
- 0:56Speaker 3: Cats in Footing podcast.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Melting Pot and now here's Jen.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Good afternoon, everybody, and welcome to this episode of Kats
- 1:07Speaker 3: and Pudday and today I have a great guest on
- 1:11Speaker 3: a girl that I most lovely lady. I shouldn't say girl,
- 1:15Speaker 3: even though I like to be cold. Girl who I met,
- 1:18Speaker 3: we met. We met about a year ago at my
- 1:21Speaker 3: Pride potty and she is amazing singer and she is
- 1:26Speaker 3: she's just she's just wonderful and she's a beautiful person.
- 1:29Speaker 3: And I'm so happy to have you today.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I'm happy to be here.
- 1:32Speaker 3: So nice to seek my hands, I know like that too.
- 1:37Speaker 3: We try to sit on my hands because I can't.
- 1:39Speaker 4: That's all I do is I'm talk with my hands,
- 1:41Speaker 4: say like say get loud. Well we'll see how we do.
- 1:44Speaker 3: You know. I try to stop saying you know, that's
- 1:47Speaker 3: something I keep saying.
- 1:48Speaker 4: That's that's something I'm still working on. And my facial expressions.
- 1:52Speaker 3: You know, it's that you knows. And so when I'm
- 1:55Speaker 3: when I'm talking to my hands, I hit the microphone
- 1:57Speaker 3: because I'm talking with my hands so much. I got
- 1:59Speaker 3: it banged. I'm so I haven't leocked off the table
- 2:01Speaker 3: yet since I've been recording this show. But I'm getting better.
- 2:04Speaker 3: I'm definitely getting better. So tell us about you and
- 2:07Speaker 3: tell us about what's going on in your life.
- 2:09Speaker 4: Yeah, so I am probably best known for being on
- 2:12Speaker 4: a few different reality shows, the most recent being Perfect
- 2:15Speaker 4: Match on Netflix.
- 2:17Speaker 3: And now you were engaged on that show?
- 2:19Speaker 2: I engaged?
- 2:20Speaker 4: Yeah, super crazy and which crazy? He was on the Circle? Okay,
- 2:26Speaker 4: he won the Circle season one, okay, and so we
- 2:29Speaker 4: got engaged because Perfect Match, if anyone hadn't seen it,
- 2:32Speaker 4: if you hadn't seen it, it was basically just all
- 2:34Speaker 4: Netflix like personalities into one dating show, all dating each other,
- 2:38Speaker 4: which is a recipe for disaster, and it was brilliant,
- 2:41Speaker 4: Like I can't wait for a season two because I
- 2:44Speaker 4: would love to be a viewer, And so yeah did
- 2:47Speaker 4: that and then that aired almost a year ago now
- 2:49Speaker 4: last Valentine's Day, And since then, I've been in a
- 2:52Speaker 4: rock and roll band.
- 2:54Speaker 3: We sing over the.
- 2:55Speaker 4: East Coast and we were thank you so much, and
- 2:58Speaker 4: we're doing so much more traveling and I'm just kind
- 3:00Speaker 4: of doing my singing thing and just you know, it's
- 3:03Speaker 4: so great, souse. I get to meet people who've seen
- 3:04Speaker 4: reality TV, like all over the country, and I get
- 3:07Speaker 4: to perform.
- 3:07Speaker 2: So it's been a lot of fun.
- 3:09Speaker 3: You know.
- 3:09Speaker 2: It's definitely like not what I expected to come out
- 3:12Speaker 2: of this show. I thought I was gonna come out
- 3:13Speaker 2: with love.
- 3:14Speaker 4: But like now I have a really fun like singing
- 3:15Speaker 4: career and I'm very bless, im very grateful.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Is that what you wanted to do was to sing?
- 3:19Speaker 3: Was that your main your main passion was singing? Or
- 3:23Speaker 3: is it more funny enough?
- 3:26Speaker 2: I actually got started in the music industry. I was
- 3:29Speaker 2: really young.
- 3:29Speaker 4: I was in a girl group and it was just
- 3:30Speaker 4: a really toxic environment and situation that we were in,
- 3:34Speaker 4: and I just I just knew that, like I needed
- 3:38Speaker 4: to believe and trust my ability to entertain people, and
- 3:41Speaker 4: that like I was, I was so much better off
- 3:44Speaker 4: doing my own thing because I don't think I was
- 3:46Speaker 4: being respected or appreciated the way I should have been.
- 3:48Speaker 2: So I said, you know what, I'm gonna go for
- 3:50Speaker 2: reality TV got my first show.
- 3:53Speaker 4: It took me a year of constantly applying and trying
- 3:56Speaker 4: and seeing what fit, and then the first show I got,
- 3:58Speaker 4: I feel like it was just so right for me.
- 4:00Speaker 2: I felt like I was destined to be there. As
- 4:02Speaker 2: corny as that sounds.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Which show was that that was called Are You the One?
- 4:05Speaker 4: And that one was on MTV in twenty nineteen around,
- 4:09Speaker 4: and I loved it so much. I'd such a great experience,
- 4:12Speaker 4: and it was a completely bisexual season, which was you know,
- 4:16Speaker 4: I found so rewarding as somebody who's bisexual and didn't
- 4:19Speaker 4: have that representation growing up. So I just had a
- 4:21Speaker 4: great experience and funny. I was pursuing comedy after that,
- 4:26Speaker 4: you know, like stand up and things like that, and
- 4:27Speaker 4: I was just like, you know, reality TV is so
- 4:30Speaker 4: fun because it's just like lazy comedy. You don't have
- 4:31Speaker 4: to write the jokes. They just kind of write themselves,
- 4:33Speaker 4: you know, on my comedy Pursue. Actually, that's when Sexy Beasts,
- 4:39Speaker 4: the Netflix show I got on. That's when they found
- 4:41Speaker 4: me because all my jokes were about how bad I
- 4:44Speaker 4: am at dating, and you know, so they put me
- 4:46Speaker 4: into Sexy Best and I did my thing and then
- 4:48Speaker 4: last May do Perfect Match. And that's just kind of
- 4:50Speaker 4: how it all came together.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Are you Are you up for any other shows now
- 4:53Speaker 3: or just are you just presuming the singing?
- 4:56Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 4:57Speaker 2: Not right now. I'm not a post really anything.
- 4:59Speaker 4: I probably wanted to do another dating show though, because
- 5:01Speaker 4: I mean three dating shows like three is cute, four
- 5:04Speaker 4: is like okay, girl, like move.
- 5:06Speaker 3: On, like you haven't found love yet during dating show,
- 5:09Speaker 3: like let's try to find me exactly. Yeah.
- 5:11Speaker 2: So I'm like, oh, let's try to find somebody in
- 5:13Speaker 2: the wild, you know, and then take it from there.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Are you dating anybody now?
- 5:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm just kind of dating around.
- 5:20Speaker 4: There's one guy actually in particular, I've been hanging around
- 5:23Speaker 4: and he's really nice.
- 5:24Speaker 2: But like, I'm still on my gay shit too, So like,
- 5:27Speaker 2: you know, I just.
- 5:28Speaker 4: I almost got married, So I'm like, I'm just kind
- 5:30Speaker 4: of holding my self to my freedom and kind of
- 5:33Speaker 4: still doing my thing and you know, enjoying the rest.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Of my twenties. How old are you twenty eight? Oh, yes,
- 5:39Speaker 3: you're You're still in your twenties. You still got a
- 5:41Speaker 3: couple more years left to exactly. Yeah, Because then we
- 5:44Speaker 3: were just talking about this on my last show, is
- 5:46Speaker 3: that women, unfortunately, we have to get our whole lives
- 5:50Speaker 3: mapped out before a certain age, like we were expected
- 5:52Speaker 3: to have a career, get an education, have a career,
- 5:56Speaker 3: get married, have children, bup, up, up up, and in
- 5:59Speaker 3: a short period of time when men don't have to,
- 6:01Speaker 3: they don't do that and then not relegated to that
- 6:05Speaker 3: type of timeline that we are.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Correct.
- 6:07Speaker 3: So, yeah, you you're in a position right now where
- 6:09Speaker 3: you're getting to you at thirties are you Are you
- 6:11Speaker 3: starting to think about did you want to get married
- 6:14Speaker 3: and settle down and have children?
- 6:15Speaker 1: Oh?
- 6:15Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I mean I wanted to.
- 6:16Speaker 4: On all my shows, That's all I talked about is
- 6:18Speaker 4: how I want to get married. I want to have babies,
- 6:20Speaker 4: Like that's always been my dream. I've always wanted to
- 6:22Speaker 4: be a mom. And you know, after my last show,
- 6:25Speaker 4: I did get engaged, and you know, I thought that
- 6:26Speaker 4: life was maybe coming for me. And you know, I
- 6:29Speaker 4: think that when it failed, I had to find peace
- 6:33Speaker 4: in being by myself because you know, like that's the
- 6:35Speaker 4: only way you're going to get out of such a
- 6:37Speaker 4: dark time, and you know, especially dealing with so many
- 6:39Speaker 4: people invested in your relationships.
- 6:40Speaker 2: So I actually did a lot of traveling. I never
- 6:43Speaker 2: liked traveling.
- 6:44Speaker 4: I'm terrified of airplanes and so you know, my friends
- 6:47Speaker 4: were like, you want to go to your scary place now.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 6:50Speaker 3: It's crazy stuff going on airplanes ways, so much crazy stuff.
- 6:53Speaker 2: And yeah, my friends were all going to Europe.
- 6:55Speaker 4: And it was right after you know, me and this
- 6:56Speaker 4: person we were just like going through really like that time,
- 6:59Speaker 4: I knew it was over, just like screwed it. I'm
- 7:00Speaker 4: going to Europe with my friends and I loved it.
- 7:02Speaker 4: And you know, like I was someone who's always I
- 7:04Speaker 4: want to get married, I want to have kids, and
- 7:05Speaker 4: I don't think I honed in enough on okay, but
- 7:07Speaker 4: make sure it's with the right person.
- 7:09Speaker 2: And so now that I'm.
- 7:11Speaker 4: Okay with being by myself and kind of prioritizing myself
- 7:14Speaker 4: and my needs first, I'm like, Okay, then the right
- 7:17Speaker 4: person will come. Like when God's like you're where you
- 7:19Speaker 4: need to be, I'm gonna send you who's meant for you.
- 7:21Speaker 2: And so I'm just kind of trying to ride that wave.
- 7:24Speaker 4: But when when it's ready for me, I'm gonna be
- 7:26Speaker 4: so happy because that's.
- 7:27Speaker 3: All I want. How are you engage for not that long?
- 7:31Speaker 4: It's kind of hard to say the exact timeline because
- 7:34Speaker 4: like after like two months there was like rockiness, and
- 7:36Speaker 4: then we would be working things out and then it
- 7:38Speaker 4: was like, okay, like this isn't gonna work, and then
- 7:40Speaker 4: it was like back to our on and off kind
- 7:42Speaker 4: of like pattern, you know what I mean. Then we
- 7:44Speaker 4: try to be friends, and that gets like dicey, because
- 7:47Speaker 4: how can be friends with someone you were in love?
- 7:49Speaker 4: With and then we just were like better off being
- 7:53Speaker 4: on like civil terms and just like not being in
- 7:55Speaker 4: each other's lives, you know.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Are you and you're on civil times?
- 7:58Speaker 2: Now we're on civil terms.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Yeah. No, no getting back together, no no, no, no, no,
- 8:05Speaker 3: not anymore.
- 8:06Speaker 4: No, it was it was before the show. We actually
- 8:08Speaker 4: knew each other. We knew each other for like.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Two years before Perfect Match, and we'd been.
- 8:12Speaker 4: On and off for those and then for like a
- 8:15Speaker 4: year and a half we were on and off and
- 8:16Speaker 4: then we went like six months like no contact, like
- 8:19Speaker 4: bad terms, and then we both ended up on Perfect Match.
- 8:22Speaker 4: So that's why I was like, oh, this must be fate,
- 8:24Speaker 4: you know. And I do think it was fate in
- 8:26Speaker 4: a sense, like I think I had a lot of
- 8:28Speaker 4: lessons to learn, and I think I grew so much
- 8:31Speaker 4: from like lessons I learned from him, and you know,
- 8:33Speaker 4: like we're not meant to be, but I think we
- 8:35Speaker 4: both took something from all that.
- 8:37Speaker 3: So are you originally from New York?
- 8:39Speaker 2: I'm from New Jersey. Now I'm in Delaware, girl. Yeah, no,
- 8:45Speaker 2: I'm in Delaware. I like Delaware.
- 8:46Speaker 4: Lie. It's so funny because there's a lot of TikTok
- 8:48Speaker 4: trends of people saying does Delaware even exist?
- 8:51Speaker 2: You know you're like, I don't know one person in Delaware.
- 8:53Speaker 4: So if you're watching this, you guys know of someone
- 8:55Speaker 4: who lives in Delaware now, So it is.
- 8:57Speaker 2: It is a real place. It's very quiet though, but quiet.
- 9:00Speaker 2: It's good.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Sometimes are you doing a lot and you're doing a
- 9:03Speaker 3: lot of traveling? What you're singing right now too?
- 9:04Speaker 4: Right? Yeah, lots and lots of traveling. We have a
- 9:07Speaker 4: lot of shows here in Jersey, New York. We're even
- 9:11Speaker 4: going down to Ocean City, Maryland a few times.
- 9:14Speaker 2: We just came back from Vermont.
- 9:15Speaker 4: So it's a lot, a lot of fun because my
- 9:17Speaker 4: band is like my best friends.
- 9:18Speaker 2: So it's just like being able to go on little
- 9:20Speaker 2: trips with your buddies. You know that's fun.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Say so right now is it's time for you to
- 9:24Speaker 3: enjoy your life? Definitely at this point and any any
- 9:29Speaker 3: also think anything else on the horizon as far as
- 9:32Speaker 3: besides singing, any acting or any like real, real type
- 9:37Speaker 3: of shows.
- 9:38Speaker 4: Baby, I always say that I'm so good at reality
- 9:41Speaker 4: TV because I'm such a terrible actor, Like I cannot
- 9:44Speaker 4: tell a lie.
- 9:44Speaker 2: My face will say whatever. I don't want to, and
- 9:47Speaker 2: so you know, as much as I.
- 9:48Speaker 4: Would be open minded to acting like, I think I'm
- 9:52Speaker 4: just so good at being a hot mess and I think.
- 9:55Speaker 2: It works for me that I'm just there's a show that.
- 9:57Speaker 3: For a hot mess, for Carousel, Let's get her the show.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Yeah exactly.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:01Speaker 4: If they're like, let's put a group of people who
- 10:03Speaker 4: just like cannot get it together, I am a perfect candidate.
- 10:09Speaker 3: When is your next Do you have an album out
- 10:13Speaker 3: or are you? Are you having anything new new music
- 10:15Speaker 3: coming down the pike at this point?
- 10:17Speaker 4: Yeah, So I'm actually gonna release sometime this year, probably
- 10:20Speaker 4: later this year, probably closer to the summer. It's like
- 10:23Speaker 4: a little EP and it's like my little heartbreak kind
- 10:26Speaker 4: of songs that like I Got out of.
- 10:28Speaker 2: My House Swift so, oh yeah, I love Taylor Swift
- 10:31Speaker 2: so but I think.
- 10:32Speaker 3: She just dates people to break up with them so
- 10:34Speaker 3: she could have a hit song.
- 10:35Speaker 4: I mean, like, if I could make as many beautiful
- 10:39Speaker 4: pieces of art from a heartbreak like she could, oh
- 10:42Speaker 4: my god, Like she she's someone who really turns lemons
- 10:45Speaker 4: into lemonade. I will just say, because her heartbreak songs
- 10:47Speaker 4: are like the best I've ever heard.
- 10:49Speaker 2: But yeah, so yes, I'll be releasing like my like
- 10:53Speaker 2: heartbreak kind of songs in the summer.
- 10:58Speaker 3: And talking about all of this.
- 10:59Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, how is how is it?
- 11:03Speaker 3: How is your parents? Like? Did they did? They? Were
- 11:05Speaker 3: they upset that you did? Were they happy? Well, first
- 11:07Speaker 3: of all that you were on a shelf looking for
- 11:09Speaker 3: love and that you got engaged. Were they happy with
- 11:11Speaker 3: the engagement? And then they were they upset when you
- 11:14Speaker 3: guys broke up?
- 11:14Speaker 2: So my mom was really happy about the engagement.
- 11:18Speaker 4: My dad was indifferent, and then my dad was actually
- 11:20Speaker 4: really happy when we broke up.
- 11:22Speaker 2: He just like but my dad, the way he phrased
- 11:25Speaker 2: it was so perfect.
- 11:25Speaker 4: He was like, I can't be the one to tell
- 11:27Speaker 4: you like you shouldn't do this or that it's not
- 11:29Speaker 4: gonna work out. You need to realize that and you
- 11:31Speaker 4: need to grow from it yourself. But he did say
- 11:34Speaker 4: that the whole time, he was just kind of like
- 11:36Speaker 4: like I just I feel like it's gonna go south,
- 11:39Speaker 4: and I feel like you just deserve so much better.
- 11:41Speaker 4: And obviously, you know, like my dad, like I love
- 11:43Speaker 4: my dad so much, and you know, I think that
- 11:45Speaker 4: he's such a great stand up man that any man
- 11:48Speaker 4: that falls like short of that, like he's gonna be
- 11:51Speaker 4: the first one to notice, right, So yeah, my dad
- 11:54Speaker 4: was really happy didn't work out.
- 11:55Speaker 2: My mom was a little crushed at first, but I
- 11:57Speaker 2: think that.
- 11:58Speaker 3: She liked him.
- 11:58Speaker 2: She did like him.
- 11:59Speaker 4: Yeah, but then you know, eventually, as like things went
- 12:01Speaker 4: on and just like you know, drama unfolded, my mom
- 12:04Speaker 4: did change her opinion, and then she was ultimately.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Like really happy that it worked out the way that
- 12:09Speaker 2: it did.
- 12:09Speaker 3: Right, Well, thank god you didn't get married and then
- 12:12Speaker 3: had to go through a divorce and that type of breakup,
- 12:15Speaker 3: because that would have been much worse.
- 12:16Speaker 4: Definitely, definitely, yeah, no, one hundred percent, you know, and
- 12:19Speaker 4: like I'm glad that we did end things before it
- 12:22Speaker 4: got too that in the sense that like like there
- 12:25Speaker 4: was no like public like fighting or like chaos, like
- 12:28Speaker 4: you know, like I'm glad we ended things before it
- 12:32Speaker 4: was like terrible. You know, we just kind of nipped
- 12:36Speaker 4: it in the butt, like civil terms, We hashed our
- 12:39Speaker 4: shit privately and could just move on because like, I
- 12:43Speaker 4: think what I was really afraid of is after filming
- 12:45Speaker 4: something with somebody like people, not being able to let
- 12:48Speaker 4: it go, or that I wouldn't be able to move
- 12:49Speaker 4: on and Luckily I have been able to and like
- 12:52Speaker 4: a lot of people just really like stayed with me
- 12:55Speaker 4: and following my journey, and people following his journey were
- 12:58Speaker 4: able to separate.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Which is good because that's something I was very afraid
- 13:01Speaker 2: I do.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Did you guys have like plan the wedding already, like
- 13:04Speaker 3: you already in the midst of planning. I were the
- 13:06Speaker 3: deposits put down on my holes or anything like that?
- 13:10Speaker 2: But no, no, no, no, So like.
- 13:11Speaker 3: That's my worst fear is a parent. Yeah, that happened
- 13:14Speaker 3: if somebody, if if one of my girls want to
- 13:15Speaker 3: get married, and then I'm like, oh, well, let's let's
- 13:18Speaker 3: let's let's put let's put this money down. Yeah no
- 13:21Speaker 3: on a venue. So oh we're not getting married and
- 13:25Speaker 3: you know you'll lose like a twenty thirty forty thousand
- 13:27Speaker 3: dollars yeah, on something. So that's like that's like the
- 13:30Speaker 3: parents' worst night.
- 13:31Speaker 4: Oh yeah, oh I could imagine, but yeah, I mean, well,
- 13:34Speaker 4: funny enough, the first day he met me, he told
- 13:36Speaker 4: me he was going to marry me. And like every
- 13:38Speaker 4: time we were like talking and stuff, we alway said
- 13:39Speaker 4: when you get married, and we always talked about we
- 13:42Speaker 4: both always wanted to Elope just like a fun day
- 13:45Speaker 4: out in Vegas, get married, and then like travel you
- 13:48Speaker 4: know what I mean.
- 13:49Speaker 2: And so that was always the plan.
- 13:51Speaker 3: End you are going to have a big venue that no.
- 13:54Speaker 4: No, And that's something I've always wanted to elope, and
- 13:56Speaker 4: so did he, And we always talked about that. We said,
- 13:58Speaker 4: let's a lope on Halloween, like that was both of
- 14:00Speaker 4: our favorite holidays.
- 14:01Speaker 2: That's I know, like so like something that would have
- 14:03Speaker 2: been fun.
- 14:04Speaker 3: And just married in Vegas and Elvis marry you.
- 14:07Speaker 2: That's exactly what he wants to say. He would always
- 14:09Speaker 2: say that I would have been great.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Yeah, that's so that's so Vegas.
- 14:14Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly, And I still want to do that, like
- 14:16Speaker 4: not maybe necessarily Vegas, but like I personally would just
- 14:19Speaker 4: love to Elope do something that's very special between me
- 14:22Speaker 4: and the person I end up marrying, and then on
- 14:26Speaker 4: the beach.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Yeah, and then like use that money to like travel
- 14:29Speaker 2: the world before.
- 14:29Speaker 4: We settle down and have kids, Like get all of
- 14:31Speaker 4: our bucket list items out of the way, let's go
- 14:33Speaker 4: settle down, you know. So that's my That's something I
- 14:36Speaker 4: would like personally, Like I do pageants and stuff I've
- 14:38Speaker 4: had like the dress moments I've had the shining like
- 14:41Speaker 4: it's all about me.
- 14:42Speaker 3: Pageants.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I do pageants.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Yeah, pageants now, yeah I still do yeah, yeah, what
- 14:48Speaker 3: kind of pageants? You just seas you're so interesting, very eclectic,
- 14:52Speaker 3: you do all these different things.
- 14:53Speaker 2: So I do a lot of different like state pageants.
- 14:57Speaker 4: I have done the pageant in Delaware, have done in
- 15:00Speaker 4: Jersey because I used to live in Jersey, and basically
- 15:04Speaker 4: there's state pageants and if you win, you go to
- 15:06Speaker 4: nationals to get to compete against.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Every other state, which is so fun.
- 15:10Speaker 4: And yeah, last year I competed in Delaware and I
- 15:13Speaker 4: got first runner up and it was so much fu Yeah,
- 15:16Speaker 4: and it's.
- 15:16Speaker 3: Just like, bab have you been in like Miss USA?
- 15:19Speaker 4: I went to Miss United States, which is a different system,
- 15:21Speaker 4: but they're very similar. But hopefully one day I can
- 15:24Speaker 4: make it to Miss USA too, because I think that
- 15:26Speaker 4: would just be such a fun experience. And I really
- 15:29Speaker 4: got into pageantry because I just think there's such a
- 15:31Speaker 4: need for more LGBTQ plus inclusivity and representation, and you know,
- 15:36Speaker 4: I think by being a like, by being that representation
- 15:42Speaker 4: or like just like really vocalizing all that kind of stuff,
- 15:45Speaker 4: I think it would really help because I always want
- 15:47Speaker 4: to do pageants, and I was too nervous to do
- 15:48Speaker 4: until I was like maybe twenty five, because I just
- 15:50Speaker 4: I didn't really see anyone like me, and I just
- 15:52Speaker 4: think it's so important for everybody to kind of see
- 15:54Speaker 4: somebody who reminds some of themselves.
- 15:55Speaker 2: So it's just been this mission of mine and I
- 15:57Speaker 2: just can't let it go.
- 15:59Speaker 3: And you're young and so beautiful, stells, I should do
- 16:03Speaker 3: it until I probably won't really enjoy one of you.
- 16:07Speaker 3: If one of your daughters wants to be in a pageant,
- 16:09Speaker 3: would you have you have a problem with that orould
- 16:11Speaker 3: you would?
- 16:12Speaker 2: I would say for her to wait till she's a teenager.
- 16:15Speaker 4: I think with anything, there are toxic things, then there's
- 16:18Speaker 4: really empowering and rewarding things. And I would make sure
- 16:22Speaker 4: she was educated and I was educated on all the
- 16:24Speaker 4: different systems, because every system is different. There's a huge
- 16:27Speaker 4: variety of like different kinds of pageants, and you know,
- 16:30Speaker 4: i'd really encourage her to find her why because there's
- 16:33Speaker 4: so many opportunities to really create a platform to give
- 16:37Speaker 4: back to your community when it comes to pageantry, and
- 16:40Speaker 4: I think that's something a lot of teenagers could really
- 16:42Speaker 4: benefit from. It's also pageants that will give you scholarships
- 16:46Speaker 4: to college, and so you know, I think things like
- 16:48Speaker 4: that are so rewarding, and I would really encourage her
- 16:50Speaker 4: to do it, but I would also want to make
- 16:51Speaker 4: sure her self esteem is like top.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Tier because there is a lot of rejection.
- 16:56Speaker 2: There's a lot, a lot of rejection, a lot of rejection. No,
- 17:00Speaker 2: not at all.
- 17:00Speaker 4: But I also think that if you want to learn
- 17:03Speaker 4: how to win, you have to know how to lose,
- 17:05Speaker 4: and how do you accept your losses and just come
- 17:07Speaker 4: back and just try again.
- 17:08Speaker 3: So you're not one of those parents who would be
- 17:10Speaker 3: like like a trophy for everybody, you.
- 17:12Speaker 4: Think, right, no, no, no, no, I'm not.
- 17:14Speaker 3: I'm not for that.
- 17:15Speaker 2: That's why I like Pat.
- 17:16Speaker 3: It's thrill the agony of defeat and yeah, and kids
- 17:20Speaker 3: should know that.
- 17:21Speaker 2: For sure, And I think that's something so great about patentry.
- 17:23Speaker 4: It's sure there's other rewards, but there is one winner,
- 17:26Speaker 4: and you know, after everybody else, they just kind of
- 17:29Speaker 4: go back to a regular life and maybe try again
- 17:31Speaker 4: next year. And I think again, like knowing how to lose,
- 17:33Speaker 4: I think will just make you such a stronger competitor
- 17:36Speaker 4: the next year or stronger in something else you want
- 17:38Speaker 4: to do that's competitive. And I think it's a really
- 17:40Speaker 4: healthy way of learning that and sharpening those skills.
- 17:43Speaker 3: I think that that's a great, a great way to be.
- 17:46Speaker 3: I think that this whole thing with like I said,
- 17:48Speaker 3: with with everybody gets an award is not the way
- 17:52Speaker 3: it's it's it's you know, kids have to know understand
- 17:56Speaker 3: about that. They have to understand about like I said,
- 17:58Speaker 3: there's a winner, there's a loser, and that's with with
- 18:01Speaker 3: sports or with anything with pageantry. It's very important and
- 18:05Speaker 3: understand that there is competitiveness and sure you're not gonna
- 18:08Speaker 3: get you shouldn't be getting a medal for mediocrisy.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Yeah, and like learning how to clap for other people
- 18:14Speaker 4: when they went yes, you know, I think that's so important.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Very important. Yeah, And not everybody's the same and it's okay,
- 18:20Speaker 3: yeah exactly is going to be the victorious secret model.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Not everybody's gonna be you know on the Yankees. Not
- 18:27Speaker 3: everybody's gonna you know, do well at swimming, do well
- 18:30Speaker 3: it do have to you know understand that there are
- 18:34Speaker 3: you have to stay in your own lane, and there
- 18:36Speaker 3: are there are different levels of winning in different aspects
- 18:39Speaker 3: of your life, and you might be good at something
- 18:40Speaker 3: where somebody else might not be good at something.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Oh one hundred percent. Yeah you may.
- 18:44Speaker 4: Maybe you didn't get the results you wanted here, but
- 18:47Speaker 4: maybe you thrive here. And you know, I think what's
- 18:49Speaker 4: so cool about life is that, like, I think we
- 18:51Speaker 4: all find something that we really get called to, and
- 18:53Speaker 4: then we do have those wins, you know, even if
- 18:55Speaker 4: they're small wins. You know, we all find something exactly,
- 18:58Speaker 4: we all find something where we get that moment.
- 19:00Speaker 2: And I think that's so important.
- 19:03Speaker 3: You're going to be such a good mom.
- 19:07Speaker 2: I want kids so bad. That's like my number one dream.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Like people are like, oh, like, like, do you want
- 19:11Speaker 2: to be singer? I'm like, no, I want to be
- 19:12Speaker 2: a mom.
- 19:14Speaker 3: It is the hardest job in the world.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Oh, my mom reminds me all the time my mom
- 19:18Speaker 2: had twins. I'm one of I'm a twin and my
- 19:21Speaker 2: mom had a.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Toddler on top of that, the third twin that's on
- 19:25Speaker 3: my show to the next time you kind of come on,
- 19:27Speaker 3: you got to bring your systems, Like brother, Oh, I'm
- 19:31Speaker 3: a sister.
- 19:32Speaker 4: And she's so shy, hates the spotlight, doesn't even like
- 19:34Speaker 4: when I tag her and things on Instagram.
- 19:36Speaker 2: It was so funny. She's so hidden because she's so
- 19:39Speaker 2: private that there.
- 19:40Speaker 4: Was a rumor going around that I lied about having
- 19:41Speaker 4: a twin sister.
- 19:43Speaker 2: I was like, no, I would I lie about.
- 19:45Speaker 3: So she's not she doesn't sing, she's not she doesn't
- 19:48Speaker 3: do pageants.
- 19:48Speaker 4: No, she's the scholar. Like she's very good at school.
- 19:51Speaker 4: She got her degree and like you know, had all
- 19:55Speaker 4: these academic kind of award things.
- 19:57Speaker 3: You know, I don't know about our accolades. Sad her accoltes.
- 20:01Speaker 3: We aageants and stingingish was so yeah, so kind of
- 20:04Speaker 3: balances out. Yeah.
- 20:05Speaker 2: I think that's why we get along so well.
- 20:07Speaker 4: It's because like we're so different, we have so much
- 20:09Speaker 4: to learn from each other, and because we grew up together.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Like we just get along so well.
- 20:13Speaker 3: So you know it's you.
- 20:16Speaker 2: No, she has long dark hair. I will love dark
- 20:20Speaker 2: hair and dark eyes, fair skinned.
- 20:21Speaker 4: She's naturally so beautiful too, like and like not to
- 20:24Speaker 4: like bring myself down or nothing, but like I were
- 20:26Speaker 4: a lot of make up because like I just love it,
- 20:27Speaker 4: Like I love the clits, I love the clam.
- 20:29Speaker 2: And she's so natural and like she just doesn't need.
- 20:32Speaker 4: Anything and she's so naturally like just wonderful and beautiful
- 20:35Speaker 4: and we just look nothing like you don't even think
- 20:37Speaker 4: we're related.
- 20:38Speaker 3: When when you when you're like away from how to
- 20:40Speaker 3: like this, this is this whole true which is do
- 20:42Speaker 3: you like feel if there's something wrong, like we're younger?
- 20:46Speaker 2: Like that was a thing I was like.
- 20:49Speaker 3: You know know that, I know I was. I want
- 20:51Speaker 3: to ask my other guests before about that. Do you
- 20:53Speaker 3: have the feelings like something's wrong or only when we
- 20:56Speaker 3: were younger?
- 20:56Speaker 2: Oh, but I can always tell me she's sad.
- 20:58Speaker 4: But I think that's just because I know her better
- 20:59Speaker 4: than anybody, Like I feel like I can read her
- 21:02Speaker 4: so well because we've spent.
- 21:03Speaker 2: So much time together.
- 21:05Speaker 3: But you were in a little space together.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Yeah, oh yeah, came out?
- 21:11Speaker 3: Who is who's the oldest one?
- 21:12Speaker 2: I came out, came out two minutes. And I'm so
- 21:15Speaker 2: much shorter than her too.
- 21:17Speaker 4: I'm five too and she's five like eight or nine
- 21:20Speaker 4: or something, so it's a very obvious height difference.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Ah, that's so yeah, I've an older sister too.
- 21:28Speaker 4: She's really really talented. She does like the Broadway kind
- 21:30Speaker 4: of singing. Wow, yeah, she got vocal lessons she's been
- 21:33Speaker 4: on Broadway tours like as the lead. Like she's somebody
- 21:36Speaker 4: who's really talked about competitive and rejection. Like she's gone
- 21:40Speaker 4: through all the auditions, like worked her butt off, and
- 21:42Speaker 4: she's had some great success too. She's in an industry
- 21:45Speaker 4: where everybody's talented, everybody's good.
- 21:48Speaker 3: So at that point, when you're in theater, everybody's yeah,
- 21:51Speaker 3: because nobody.
- 21:51Speaker 4: That's not tough exactly, And at that point it comes
- 21:53Speaker 4: down to like somebody's opinions. So you know, you really
- 21:56Speaker 4: need a strong backbone. And you know, I have to
- 21:58Speaker 4: give her credit because that's not easy.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Yeah. Ah, and no brothers, No brother Now you have
- 22:05Speaker 3: to have sons too, Yeah, I probably will.
- 22:07Speaker 4: I always say that because I always want, like I
- 22:09Speaker 4: would always like obviously I just want any gender as
- 22:12Speaker 4: long as it's healthy and happy. But you know, I
- 22:14Speaker 4: would always you know, like to have a girl and
- 22:17Speaker 4: just like you know, kind of have that bomb with
- 22:19Speaker 4: me and my mom.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Have my mom's like my best friend.
- 22:21Speaker 4: But if I have all boys, as long as they're
- 22:23Speaker 4: happy and healthy, I will take that as well.
- 22:25Speaker 3: And your well there is probably going to be staying local.
- 22:27Speaker 3: You better find somebody to settle down. What you could
- 22:29Speaker 3: give me some grand a long time forget.
- 22:31Speaker 2: My mom my dad.
- 22:32Speaker 4: My dad is always like, I asked my dam what
- 22:33Speaker 4: you want for Christmas this year?
- 22:34Speaker 2: He goes, grandkids.
- 22:35Speaker 3: I'm like, that's a.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Grandpa, My poor dad. I think it was like three
- 22:43Speaker 2: years ago or something. I was dating a woman. He goes,
- 22:46Speaker 2: how crazy is it?
- 22:47Speaker 4: My closest thing to grandkids is my daughter who's dating
- 22:49Speaker 4: the woman because my other two sisters are not relationships.
- 22:54Speaker 3: But even if you do marry a woman, you could
- 22:56Speaker 3: still have a baby, but they're planned.
- 22:59Speaker 2: You know, you marry a woman, you you it's planned,
- 23:03Speaker 2: you know, you know.
- 23:04Speaker 4: So yeah, but like you know, if you were a man,
- 23:06Speaker 4: you know, sometimes things happen and they just like, oh,
- 23:08Speaker 4: let's you know, do it, like see where it goes.
- 23:10Speaker 4: And it's a lot more work. Yeah, And it's more
- 23:13Speaker 4: work with a woman. You gotta see this, see that,
- 23:15Speaker 4: like do this kind of sperm donors. So it's like
- 23:17Speaker 4: a little more work, a little more elbow grease.
- 23:19Speaker 3: But where do you still see? It just doesn't matter
- 23:22Speaker 3: how it's going to be who you fall in love with. Yeah.
- 23:24Speaker 4: I always say I'm not attracted to like like physical bodies.
- 23:29Speaker 4: I'm attracted to people like I'm attracted to like who
- 23:32Speaker 4: they are, like as a person, I think I'm just attracted.
- 23:35Speaker 4: I would say I'm like attracted to masculine energy, whether
- 23:38Speaker 4: that's in a woman's body, a man's body, somebody who
- 23:41Speaker 4: identifies in between.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Like if if I just vibe with you and you're.
- 23:45Speaker 4: Just like a masculine energy, I feel like that's what
- 23:47Speaker 4: I just kind of myself.
- 23:49Speaker 3: You navigate to it, you gravitate to. Yeah.
- 23:52Speaker 4: And even when I'm dating a man though, like a
- 23:55Speaker 4: straight CIS man, I think it's also important to just
- 23:57Speaker 4: really embrace my queerness as well. And I'm not saying
- 24:01Speaker 4: like having to also be with women or anything, but
- 24:03Speaker 4: just like you know, going to Pride and you know,
- 24:06Speaker 4: talking about how important representation is and still being an
- 24:08Speaker 4: advocate for my community because you know, it's still such
- 24:11Speaker 4: a big part of my life. It's a big part
- 24:12Speaker 4: of my story. So any man I end up with
- 24:15Speaker 4: has to be supportive of that.
- 24:18Speaker 3: And anybody who's with you is going to be supportive
- 24:20Speaker 3: of that.
- 24:20Speaker 4: I think so too, because that's too big of a
- 24:23Speaker 4: deal breaker for me personally to overlook somebody who's not supportive.
- 24:27Speaker 4: But luckily I've never dated any man who's been not
- 24:30Speaker 4: supportive of that, so that's good. I've heard horror stories
- 24:34Speaker 4: on like Reddit threads and stuff of people dating men
- 24:36Speaker 4: who are just not and I just I could never
- 24:39Speaker 4: do that.
- 24:40Speaker 3: I'm sure anybody that you attract would be a person
- 24:43Speaker 3: that's going to be for you know, for your lifestyle
- 24:46Speaker 3: and for your you know, and for your beliefs.
- 24:48Speaker 2: And yeah, you feel that's what I think too.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Definitely, you're gonna you're gonna navigate to those certain types
- 24:53Speaker 3: of things, definitely.
- 24:53Speaker 2: And I think I attract that.
- 24:54Speaker 4: I attract people who like are just like more open minded,
- 24:57Speaker 4: and you know, maybe they don't they've never like had
- 25:00Speaker 4: a game moment or anything, but they can appreciate and
- 25:03Speaker 4: they can be supported in.
- 25:05Speaker 2: An ally to our community.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Well, I think you're gonna find yourself somebody beautiful and
- 25:10Speaker 3: somebody nice that you're gonna wind up marrying and haven't
- 25:12Speaker 3: manifesting and manifest that energy and have some children. I
- 25:17Speaker 3: can see that in your future. And you are so lovely,
- 25:20Speaker 3: you know.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm so late.
- 25:23Speaker 3: So we talked, and I love to have you back
- 25:25Speaker 3: again and want to see what what what the what
- 25:27Speaker 3: the world has been bringing you over the next few months.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Hopefully you'll come back again.
- 25:31Speaker 4: Oh yeah, and I'm gonna I'm gonna come for some injections.
- 25:34Speaker 4: Your face looks too good.
- 25:36Speaker 2: I'm like both ox fillers and my glue tie, like,
- 25:38Speaker 2: let's do it well.
- 25:40Speaker 3: When you're a ready, you come on and don't see
- 25:42Speaker 3: me adult Jay Baby. It was so good to have
- 25:46Speaker 3: you on today. I'm so happy to see you and
- 25:48Speaker 3: you all lovely.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Oh, thank you so much.
- 25:50Speaker 3: Everybody. Please watch us on Apple, on YouTube watch the
- 25:54Speaker 3: whole video, not just the shorts, and on Spotify. Everybody,
- 25:58Speaker 3: have a great day. This was kats and putting and
- 25:59Speaker 3: again and thank you for being on my jow Have
- 26:03Speaker 3: a great day.
