Hi, I'm Pete Smith on Compass Point to Day, a simple yet
• 0:07
profound thought by Lynne Chadford based on Luke 7 verse
• 0:11
  15. And he that was dead sat up and
• 0:14
began to speak. And he, that's Jesus delivered
• 0:18
him to his mother, the Lord Jesus.
• 0:20
And a large crowd that was following him had come upon
• 0:23
another large gathering, a funeral procession.
• 0:25
It was for a young man who had been the only son of his widowed
• 0:29
mother. The Lord interrupted the funeral
• 0:31
and raised him back to life. He could have just gone on his
• 0:34
way, but instead he offered a simple yet profound gesture.
• 0:37
He delivered him to his mother. In the midst of all those
• 0:40
  people, Jesus acknowledged this woman.
• 0:43
Do you feel lost in the crowd? Be encouraged even among the
• 0:47
billions. Lord knows and loves you
• 0:49
personally. Ponder that precious and amazing
• 0:52
thought. Let it really sink in today.
