  Do you realize that sometimes even because you want to do the

  will of God and you want to step out to fulfill God's plan for

  your life, all of a sudden you begin to face opposition.

  This is a very similar case and not, not particularly peculiar

  to you as an individual, but it has always been from existence.

  When you read the scriptures and you go through those who are
• 0:24
  pathfinders, those who have been able to subdue Kingdom, not
• 0:26
  righteousness, establish justice, and those who who were
• 0:30
  able to obtain their promises, you realize that they always
• 0:35
  face opposition, especially if they want to advance in
• 0:38
  fulfilling what God has called them to.
• 0:40
  You know, there's a man called Nyema.
• 0:42
  He came to rebuild a wall, a wall that has been, you know,
• 0:47
  abandoned for years, for years due to certain captivity that a
• 0:51
  certain group of people went into.
• 0:54
  All of a sudden there were three people that rose up against him,
• 0:57
  Sambalat and Tobias. So this man just rose up and
• 1:02
  decided to fight the rebuilding of the world.
• 1:05
  But one thing I have I realized clearly there was that Naomi had
• 1:09
  never allowed those opposition affecting he rather pressing
• 1:13
  even in the face of those things.
• 1:15
  This man went as far as writing a letter to the king to ensure
• 1:20
  that the project didn't continue.
• 1:23
  And eventually, at every instances, God helped him to win
• 1:27
  over every malicious argument that the people raise, even to
• 1:32
  the point where the man was the these men were plotting to kill
• 1:36
  Naomi. So that is the extent in which
• 1:38
  resistance actually can take place whenever you want to do
• 1:41
  the will of you know, most times the idea we have is that when
• 1:44
  you want to fulfil God's plan, you think you will not be
• 1:48
  opposed by it. You think nothing is going to
• 1:51
  challenge you, but those challenges are even pointers.
• 1:53
  But just like this man, and he's a lesson each and everyone else
• 1:57
  must learn, he didn't focus on the challenges, he didn't focus
• 2:01
  on the opposition. He didn't allow the realist
• 2:04
  vision. He was more intentional about
• 2:07
  completing his project. In fact, at some point he gave
• 2:11
  an instruction for the people as they are building, they should
• 2:14
  hold Weapon One in their hands in order for them to resist
• 2:17
  those who want to stop the project from going.
• 2:20
  That is the mentality that you must have, you know, in order
• 2:23
  for you to win. So for someone here, maybe God
• 2:25
  give you a word and all of a sudden you have been betrayed
• 2:29
  that place of work. And for somebody here, it seems
• 2:31
  like you lost your job, your financial support, and you got
• 2:36
  fired, not because you were not good at your job, but things
• 2:40
  just happened that you were betrayed by people.
• 2:43
  I want you to understand that in the face of that opposition, God
• 2:47
  will actually manifest himself. And I also saw another lesson
• 2:51
  from Naomi is that he always go back to God, you know, for
• 2:54
  guidance, for direction and his that was wasted.
• 2:57
  The joy of the Lord is your strength.
• 2:59
  So he never allowed that to affect anything.

  So he kept on pressing it because once the enemy can
• 3:04
  affect your joy, it can affect your vision, it can affect your
• 3:07
  life, it can affect your purpose.

  So I want to encourage somebody listening to this, this morning,
• 3:12
  today or this afternoon, evening, wherever you are across
• 3:15
  the globe that God wants to do something to your life.
• 3:18
  But don't look at the storm, don't look at the opposition.
• 3:22
  Let your gaze be set on the one that has called you.
• 3:26
  You see, the word man is called anthropos.
• 3:28
  It means the being that look upward, meaning your defense,
• 3:31
  your support comes from God and him alone.
• 3:35
