Coach Scammed Parents Out of $70K | Washington DC News
A Virginia soccer coach, Ahmed Mohamed, 31, is facing 13 counts of embezzlement and 13 of computer fraud after allegedly scamming 13 families out of $70,000 through a fake Italian soccer camp. Using his prior connections with the Alexandria Soccer Association, he launched “Sporting Soccer Academy” as a legitimate LLC to prey on trusting parents.
