- 0:00Speaker 1: Obviously inauguration coming up January the twelve. Yeah, you know,
- 0:03Speaker 1: you know him. Well, what advice would you give him?
- 0:05Speaker 1: Blunt advice about because I detected when I spoke to
- 0:08Speaker 1: him that he feels the hand of legacy.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Now.
- 0:10Speaker 1: He hasn't got a run again, he hasn't got a
- 0:12Speaker 1: campaign again. What he's got is four years which he
- 0:16Speaker 1: probably couldn't have been certain he would have got again.
- 0:18Speaker 1: I mean, most people didn't give him a chance. He's
- 0:20Speaker 1: got unexpected second chance to reframe his legacy.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I really think this. I think you mentioned earlier
- 0:27Speaker 3: in the fact he's got this mandate. He's feeling pretty good,
- 0:29Speaker 3: and that's right, and he should. He did something, Piers,
- 0:31Speaker 3: and this is gonna be a longer answered, and I apologize.
- 0:34Speaker 3: He did something that I didn't think anybody thought a
- 0:35Speaker 3: Republican could do. He made huge in roads in the
- 0:37Speaker 3: African American community, huge in roads in the Hispanic community.
- 0:40Speaker 3: I mean, just numbers of Republicans haven't seen since the
- 0:43Speaker 3: nineteen sixties. And I think he needs to reco If
- 0:45Speaker 3: I'm giving you advice, Miss Present recognized that there was
- 0:47Speaker 3: a bunch of people here who have never voted Republican
- 0:49Speaker 3: before they've voted for you.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Why and then when you had Biden pardoning Hunter, all
- 0:54Speaker 1: the high moral ground you were probably looking forward to
- 0:56Speaker 1: having against Trump in the next few years about lying orocricy,
- 1:00Speaker 1: or shamelessness or nepotism, But not the window, not.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Even that, just the politicization of the Department of Justice.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Keep in mind, if Biden didn't come out and said, look,
- 1:08Speaker 3: my son was an addict, he did it, he's guilty.
- 1:10Speaker 3: I get I can't stand to see my son go
- 1:13Speaker 3: to prison. I think every parent can understand. I have
- 1:15Speaker 3: the ability to pardon him. I'm going to do it.
- 1:17Speaker 3: I've changed my mind. I don't think anybody would be
- 1:20Speaker 3: able to criticize him for that. But what he said
- 1:21Speaker 3: was I'm doing this because he was targeted by a
- 1:25Speaker 3: politicized Department of Justice. But I think Elon Musk and
- 1:28Speaker 3: the vec roam Oswami are going to do might be
- 1:30Speaker 3: the most important place agree.
- 1:31Speaker 1: I'm excited about what they're going to do.
- 1:33Speaker 3: I am too. I don't think they can do much
- 1:34Speaker 3: on their own. They don't have a lot of statutory authority.
- 1:36Speaker 3: I was the last person, by the way, who's in
- 1:38Speaker 3: charge of government restructuring and I failed miserably because everybody
- 1:41Speaker 3: was against me, the House, the Senate, even most of
- 1:44Speaker 3: the agencies. I remember the Secretary of Defense was against
- 1:47Speaker 3: the things the president wanted me.
- 1:48Speaker 1: So how do they get around that?
- 1:50Speaker 3: First of all, Elon Musk is a lot smarter than
- 1:52Speaker 3: I am. Number two, they're much very smarter than and
- 1:57Speaker 3: he's got and he's gotta, he's got a bigger footprint.
- 1:58Speaker 3: And now it's a movement. Right when I was doing it,
- 2:00Speaker 3: I was doing it because I was looking at a
- 2:02Speaker 3: government that been created in the nineteen twenty said so
- 2:04Speaker 3: we have to fix it. It's not very sexy. Peers
- 2:07Speaker 3: Vivek and I think Elon Musk have the ability to
- 2:10Speaker 3: sort of make this a cause celeb to the point
- 2:12Speaker 3: where ordinary people are going to care what's happening when
- 2:15Speaker 3: they fix the gum.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I thought he's going to do what he did his
- 2:17Speaker 1: other companies and just cool everybody in and say what
- 2:20Speaker 1: did you do last week?
- 2:21Speaker 2: What's really interesting about this pardon is what Biden is
- 2:26Speaker 2: saying in the pardon versus what Democrats who are supporting
- 2:29Speaker 2: Biden and protecting Biden or making excuses for him, are
- 2:32Speaker 2: two entirely different things. Biden is saying that what Trump
- 2:36Speaker 2: is said for years is true, that there is politicization
- 2:40Speaker 2: inside the Justice Department, and that is a damning account
- 2:44Speaker 2: because politicization the Justice Department was completely a partisan issue.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Democrats for four years said it wasn't happening, Republicans said
- 2:51Speaker 2: it was happening, And here's a Democratic president saying, no,
- 2:54Speaker 2: it happened, but it happened against my son.
- 2:56Speaker 4: If you look at each and every case and you
- 2:58Speaker 4: look at how they were throwing the book at it everydy,
- 3:00Speaker 4: there are different people that did different things. If you
- 3:02Speaker 4: attacked a police officer, you deserve to be in jail
- 3:05Speaker 4: for that. If you're an eighty seven year old grandmother
- 3:07Speaker 4: that was walking around outside the capitol and they hunted
- 3:10Speaker 4: them down and put them in jail and they didn't
- 3:11Speaker 4: do anything violent, you.
- 3:12Speaker 5: Do not deserve to be in jail for that.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Even if you're charged with the word seditious in any
- 3:17Speaker 4: of the complaints, there are different cases and different people.
- 3:21Speaker 4: You look at each case individually, and you decide based
- 3:24Speaker 4: on each case individually before you do a pardon. It's
- 3:27Speaker 4: not insane to say I would want to look at
- 3:30Speaker 4: each case to see what they actually did compared to
- 3:33Speaker 4: what the government lied and said they did.
- 3:35Speaker 3: I'm going to take that clip and when people ask
- 3:37Speaker 3: me why Washington is broken, I have an answer for that,
- 3:39Speaker 3: which is Washington isn't broken. It just reflects the country. Right,
- 3:42Speaker 3: And I'll play the last twenty minutes and say, these
- 3:45Speaker 3: are not elected officials, these are just ordinary citizens. Yes,
- 3:48Speaker 3: that is the country why I live in.
- 3:49Speaker 6: Right.
- 3:50Speaker 1: There's a little screaming, Yeah, a lot of people implacably
- 3:53Speaker 1: opposed to the other side, not prepared to give an inch.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Facts don't really master all the time. And the little
- 3:59Speaker 1: of heat we'll see answer.
- 4:00Speaker 3: To that, Uh, doing better. I do worry about the
- 4:04Speaker 3: next generation. I've I teach a lot of students. I
- 4:07Speaker 3: deal with young people, and I am very, very disturbed
- 4:09Speaker 3: by their inability to change their mind if they get
- 4:13Speaker 3: new information, and that I think is a very dangerous
- 4:16Speaker 3: place to be.
- 4:17Speaker 1: I believe in the justice system, but as I wrestled
- 4:20Speaker 1: with this, I also believe raw politics has infective this
- 4:23Speaker 1: process and led to a miscarriage of justice. There's an
- 4:27Speaker 1: old shortcut in journalism. If you want to cut to
- 4:29Speaker 1: the actual truth, don't believe anything before the But you
- 4:33Speaker 1: can't simultaneously our faith in the justice system and believe
- 4:37Speaker 1: that everyone is beholden to the law, but also believe
- 4:40Speaker 1: is corrupted and beholden to politics. Joe Biden flew seven
- 4:44Speaker 1: thousand miles away from this crisis of his own making
- 4:46Speaker 1: to give a speech in Angola. The debate obviously where
- 4:49Speaker 1: he destroyed it.
- 4:50Speaker 3: It was not even close.
- 4:52Speaker 1: So do you think he's changed? You know him well
- 4:54Speaker 1: when you watch him, do you think you see a
- 4:55Speaker 1: slightly changed guy?
- 4:57Speaker 3: A little bit thought. I thought I saw a lot
- 4:59Speaker 3: of it at convention, the speech he gave at the convention,
- 5:02Speaker 3: which is right after the shooting, if you remember, and
- 5:03Speaker 3: I haven't talked to him. I've talked to members of
- 5:05Speaker 3: the family, I've talked to folks in the inner circle,
- 5:06Speaker 3: and they all told me he is a changed man.
- 5:09Speaker 3: And I believed it as of the convention. I think
- 5:11Speaker 3: as the campaign went on, he fell back into a
- 5:13Speaker 3: lot of his old sort of his default settings, which
- 5:17Speaker 3: is the rally. Trump by the way, that's he's a
- 5:19Speaker 3: true extrovert. He loves doing this. He's a great performer,
- 5:23Speaker 3: he's a great showman, and he draws energy from it.
- 5:25Speaker 3: So it doesn't surprise me. He sort of fell back
- 5:27Speaker 3: into some of his some of the greatest hits.
- 5:29Speaker 1: As we say, is he will he now use I mean,
- 5:31Speaker 1: I think you probably will, because why wouldn't he. Will
- 5:34Speaker 1: he now use what Biden's done in pardoning Hunter to
- 5:37Speaker 1: go and partner a lot of the January sixth Probably. Yeah,
- 5:40Speaker 1: he's got unexpected second chance to reframe his legacy.
- 5:44Speaker 3: He made huge inroads in the African American community, huge
- 5:47Speaker 3: inroads in the Hispanic community. I mean just numbers Republicans
- 5:50Speaker 3: haven't seen since the nineteen sixties. So, yes, taxes are important, Yes,
- 5:54Speaker 3: immigration has bot all those things important. But really the
- 5:56Speaker 3: most important thing you can do in your legacy is
- 5:59Speaker 3: fix Washedrington. These people think government doesn't work for them,
- 6:03Speaker 3: and it doesn't.
- 6:04Speaker 1: He said to NBC News in July. I think he's
- 6:06Speaker 1: the Republican most likely to lose in the general election.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Of all I did in candidates. If I go back
- 6:11Speaker 1: to twenty twenty two, I didn't think he had a
- 6:13Speaker 1: cat and hell's chance. It's an astounding comeback.
- 6:16Speaker 3: It really is. I remember, no, I listen, I was
- 6:18Speaker 3: against him running in the primary because I thought he
- 6:20Speaker 3: would lose. Keep in mind, when he announced his primary November.
- 6:24Speaker 3: I think of twenty twenty two. Our Fox News broke
- 6:27Speaker 3: away from the speech at mar Lago because it was
- 6:29Speaker 3: so flat. There were what eight or ten Republicans who
- 6:33Speaker 3: thought they could beat him, and I thought he was
- 6:35Speaker 3: uniquely positioned to be the weakest candidate that we have.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it seems to me the Democrats liberals generally have
- 6:44Speaker 1: gone into a weird kind of collective anaphyletic shock, which
- 6:48Speaker 1: has now been massively exacerbated by what Biden's done. Because
- 6:52Speaker 1: the truth is, the truth is they cannot handle the
- 6:56Speaker 1: fact that this guy they spent all year calling a
- 6:59Speaker 1: fascist and not see the new Hitler, the biggest biggot
- 7:02Speaker 1: in the world, blah blah blah, has one literally across
- 7:05Speaker 1: the board everything. It's set them all slightly nuts and
- 7:09Speaker 1: people like me who basically are in the middle. I'm
- 7:11Speaker 1: a kind of centrist, slightly liberal guy, right, I'm not
- 7:15Speaker 1: a Trump Dingleberry. I've just warned the liberals for years
- 7:19Speaker 1: this was going to happen, and now it's happened, they
- 7:22Speaker 1: want to blame me, and I'm like, I did, try
- 7:24Speaker 1: and tell.
- 7:24Speaker 7: You covered everything from twenty fourteen to December one, twenty
- 7:29Speaker 7: twenty four. So this whole thing is gigantic, and I
- 7:32Speaker 7: think in the next couple of weeks we're going to
- 7:34Speaker 7: see more partners coming out. I think this is really
- 7:37Speaker 7: just the type of Iceberg. My guess would be that
- 7:39Speaker 7: he might even pardon people who were involved in Hunter's business.
- 7:43Speaker 5: Who knows, I'm guessing maybe.
- 7:46Speaker 3: It happened year.
- 7:47Speaker 1: All right, let's bring in Francesca. If you put her
- 7:49Speaker 1: buzzer down Franchester for eight years where the chargers.
- 7:54Speaker 5: There are none.
- 7:57Speaker 8: They started eight years ago when they had the laptop.
- 8:00Speaker 8: What do you mean, statute of limitations?
- 8:02Speaker 7: You go back to win the project bout on a
- 8:06Speaker 7: call and he said, I'm here with my father. You know,
- 8:09Speaker 7: we expect you to follow through. He basically shook down
- 8:13Speaker 7: a Chinese business.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Yes, of course you are the poor aforementioned career jump Pierre.
- 8:20Speaker 9: You have said repeatedly yourself since the election. The President
- 8:23Speaker 9: has said for months no pardon was coming. I just
- 8:27Speaker 9: I wanted to ask you. Could those statements now be
- 8:29Speaker 9: seen as lies from the American people?
- 8:32Speaker 1: Is there really credibility?
- 8:33Speaker 9: Is you're given now this announcement.
- 8:35Speaker 10: First of all, one of the things that the president
- 8:38Speaker 10: always believes is to be truthful to the American people.
- 8:40Speaker 10: That is something that he always truly believes. And if
- 8:44Speaker 10: you see the end of his I assume that you've
- 8:48Speaker 10: read his statement, and you look at the end of
- 8:51Speaker 10: that statement, and he actually says that in the first
- 8:54Speaker 10: line in the last paragraph.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Unbelievable. Here is that last paragraph. Seven. My entire career,
- 9:01Speaker 1: I've followed a simple principle, just tell the American people
- 9:04Speaker 1: the truth. Here's the truth. You see. I told you
- 9:07Speaker 1: I don't agree with him, but he does. But secondly,
- 9:09Speaker 1: he's got such a mandate. Now, he's got everything that
- 9:12Speaker 1: he could have possibly wanted. And the people that voted
- 9:15Speaker 1: for him came from the white community, the black community,
- 9:17Speaker 1: and Latina right across the board. And then, in a way,
- 9:20Speaker 1: the opposition to Trump is so different to what it
- 9:23Speaker 1: was in twenty sixteen, when hundreds of thousands were marching
- 9:26Speaker 1: and it was really febrar the atmosphere. There's an acceptance
- 9:29Speaker 1: from the left. Now, well, what can we say? And
- 9:32Speaker 1: then when you have Biden pardoning Hunter, all the high
- 9:36Speaker 1: moral ground you were probably looking forward to having against
- 9:38Speaker 1: Trump in the next few years about lying or hypocrisy
- 9:41Speaker 1: or shamelessness or nepotism, going out of the window. Now,
- 9:43Speaker 1: if what happened to the mainstream media, given that we've
- 9:46Speaker 1: seen Trump in this election using YouTube and podcasters really
- 9:50Speaker 1: to get the male vote in a much more effective way,
- 9:53Speaker 1: they can't. But I managed to get the female vote.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Yeah, Trump figured out a way to go around that.
- 9:57Speaker 3: So what does it leave them all in twenty sixteen
- 9:59Speaker 3: it was in Twitter, now, podcasts and so forth. I'm
- 10:01Speaker 3: more consider about what happens to the country. We need
- 10:03Speaker 3: a media that does treat both sides like that. It's
- 10:06Speaker 3: part of the check and balance, and we don't have
- 10:07Speaker 3: it right now. Obama did some things that Donald Trump
- 10:12Speaker 3: is going to try and go around the Senate on
- 10:13Speaker 3: a couple different of a couple of his appointments maybe okay,
- 10:17Speaker 3: and he's going to be pillar read for that in
- 10:18Speaker 3: the press. Obama did the exact same thing, and the
- 10:21Speaker 3: press simply rolled over and said, we love Obama. What
- 10:24Speaker 3: difference does it make? And the help the country's health
- 10:26Speaker 3: suffers because of that. Now that being said, no one
- 10:28Speaker 3: watches late night television. They're famous because they're famous, But
- 10:32Speaker 3: I think what they're.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Learning number one now is Greg Guttfeld is on fault.
- 10:35Speaker 3: They don't move the needle.
- 10:37Speaker 1: He was the adult in the room, the last bastion
- 10:40Speaker 1: of democracy and constitutional norms, the staunch just defender of
- 10:44Speaker 1: a justice system that treated everybody, as he said, as
- 10:48Speaker 1: equals under the law, and that nobody would be above
- 10:52Speaker 1: the law, except, as it turned out, his own son,
- 10:56Speaker 1: Biden lied because it's an election year and the hypocrisy
- 10:59Speaker 1: is inexcusable.
- 11:01Speaker 4: Yeah, Look, I think Hunter Biden's pardon was much more
- 11:05Speaker 4: than just Hunter Biden. Forget the corruption of Hunter Biden
- 11:08Speaker 4: for a second. I think this was the pretext and
- 11:10Speaker 4: I'm going to make a prediction here to a mass
- 11:13Speaker 4: amount of pardons that are about to be coming down
- 11:15Speaker 4: from this White House in the closing days of this administration,
- 11:18Speaker 4: because they put together a list of people they believe
- 11:21Speaker 4: have probably broken laws. They put it out there in
- 11:24Speaker 4: the media over the last twenty four hours, and they're
- 11:27Speaker 4: justifying his brother and anybody that took money with the
- 11:30Speaker 4: Biden last name, anybody that was corrupted the FBI, anybody
- 11:35Speaker 4: that was going after Donald Trump the list, and they're
- 11:38Speaker 4: trying to say that it's somehow Donald Trump's enemies list,
- 11:41Speaker 4: so therefore we are justified in handing out pardons to
- 11:44Speaker 4: everyone that was involved in the Biden crime family or
- 11:48Speaker 4: abusing their power to go after Donald Trump. And so
- 11:50Speaker 4: I don't really care that much about Hunter Biden's pardon.
- 11:53Speaker 5: Of course, this was always going to happen.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Let me bring in destiny about something else. Let's talk
- 11:57Speaker 1: about Trump's cabinet picks of the two of the most
- 12:00Speaker 1: pete heigsith in defense obviously in Cash Pattel to the FBI?
- 12:06Speaker 1: Do you believe that those nominations should be approved?
- 12:12Speaker 8: The I know more about Patel, the other Fox News
- 12:15Speaker 8: flunky is a loser as well.
- 12:17Speaker 1: I mean, with great valor, he's not a loser, is he?
- 12:21Speaker 8: That's that's that's great. I can think of a lot
- 12:23Speaker 8: of losers that have served the country the great valor.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Trump is a lot of them losers.
- 12:26Speaker 8: So I don't even know why you would think just
- 12:27Speaker 8: because somebody's a veteran doesn't mean that they're not a
- 12:29Speaker 8: horrible fit for a particular job.
- 12:31Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 12:31Speaker 8: I don't know that's what we were doing here. The
- 12:34Speaker 8: Patel guys is insane. Well, the two mega people. Will
- 12:37Speaker 8: you guys defend when Donald Trump pardons the January sixth
- 12:39Speaker 8: riders or anybody that was convicted in connection to the
- 12:42Speaker 8: January six stuff. If he goes for the seditious conpiracy people,
- 12:45Speaker 8: will you defend that parton?
- 12:46Speaker 2: And I think the question is is I don't think
- 12:48Speaker 2: that he should partner anyone who do something violent.
- 12:50Speaker 1: I don't think that attack.
- 12:51Speaker 2: But I do think that when you look at the
- 12:53Speaker 2: sentencing and how some January sixth people have been treated
- 12:57Speaker 2: is remarkable concerning. Some people have solitary confinement for months
- 13:00Speaker 2: on and so I do think that depending on what
- 13:03Speaker 2: they are accused of and what they have been tried on,
- 13:05Speaker 2: I think a pardon it could could be warranted.
- 13:08Speaker 3: I think the people who are watching them have already
- 13:10Speaker 3: decided what they think, and they just want to be
- 13:12Speaker 3: reaffirmed in what they think. And they're not changing anybody's minds.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Is there any way back for sort of you know,
- 13:17Speaker 1: like the CNN's, MSNBC's and the others who's ratings have
- 13:20Speaker 1: all crashed or are we just seeing a real moment
- 13:23Speaker 1: where legacy media's kind of shoved to one side.
- 13:26Speaker 3: So I read a column as well for the New
- 13:27Speaker 3: York Post as you do, and I do a little
- 13:29Speaker 3: work for the Hill newspaper and so forth, and there
- 13:31Speaker 3: was a major left leading media outlet that said they
- 13:33Speaker 3: were going to try and get more conservative voices. And
- 13:36Speaker 3: I reached out and said, look, here's some of the
- 13:37Speaker 3: work I do for these ages. And they roll back to,
- 13:39Speaker 3: thanks very much, we don't have any interest. Really, Oh yeah,
- 13:41Speaker 3: they're not. It's all lip service. It's all this faux introspection.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Oh whoe is us? We got it wrong. We'll do
- 13:48Speaker 3: better next time. They can't. I was at CBS News.
- 13:51Speaker 3: First of all, I could if we had a longer conversation,
- 13:53Speaker 3: I could I could prove to you the CBS News
- 13:55Speaker 3: lies about Donald Trump, because I sat in on one
- 13:57Speaker 3: of the meetings.
- 13:58Speaker 6: Just feel that it is so funny that the Democratic
- 14:01Speaker 6: Party has also surrounded itself like the Republican Party, with
- 14:05Speaker 6: honestly opportunistic grifters like Lyndy Lee, who has posited herself
- 14:10Speaker 6: as someone who actually cares about American democracy, you know, uh,
- 14:14Speaker 6: spotlighting the threats that Trump has posed and will continue
- 14:17Speaker 6: to pose to the American people. And now that the
- 14:19Speaker 6: Harris campaign lost, which I think was definitely their election
- 14:23Speaker 6: to lose, given just how much Trump was like not
- 14:28Speaker 6: even trying, and he didn't win by the popular vote,
- 14:31Speaker 6: by he won by less than fifty percent, Harris dropped
- 14:34Speaker 6: the ball.
- 14:35Speaker 5: Lindy Lee was all in on.
- 14:36Speaker 6: The campaign, and now she's pivoting because she's like, you
- 14:39Speaker 6: know what, I want to go to the winning side.
- 14:41Speaker 6: And now the Hunter Biden laptop story is a thing
- 14:44Speaker 6: yours that's just so craven.
- 14:46Speaker 3: And so pathetic.
- 14:47Speaker 6: And I'm someone who has not received a single dollar
- 14:50Speaker 6: from the Democratic Party or any any to talk about my.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Kay, Ben is Ben?
- 14:58Speaker 8: Is there a single criticism you have for Donald Trump
- 15:00Speaker 8: and the way that he's engaged with, say, the Department
- 15:02Speaker 8: of Justice.
- 15:04Speaker 5: With the people he's picking now no dates. I defend
- 15:09Speaker 5: Matt Gates, if that's what you're asking. I thought Mata
- 15:11Speaker 5: Gates is a bad pick.
- 15:14Speaker 8: I he states to this Department of Justice in the
- 15:16Speaker 8: past when he was president. Do you have a single
- 15:18Speaker 8: criticism for how he did anything? I do.
- 15:20Speaker 5: I think you should have.
- 15:20Speaker 4: I think you should have fired James Comy day one,
- 15:23Speaker 4: and I think you should have fired the bad actors
- 15:25Speaker 4: in the deep state that we're working against him from
- 15:27Speaker 4: sixteen through twenty, trying to go after people like General
- 15:30Speaker 4: Flynn and bait them and the White House thinking they're
- 15:33Speaker 4: serving their country having a conversation with the FBI, and
- 15:36Speaker 4: he goes on stage and laughs about it, basically saying,
- 15:39Speaker 4: I'm trying to set someone up so I can use
- 15:41Speaker 4: them against the sitting president. It's America that you're supposed
- 15:43Speaker 4: to actually be serving because you don't like him politically.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Yeah, unrealistic what he's trying to achieve with these people.
- 15:50Speaker 3: I think there's a bunch of different things going on. Yes,
- 15:52Speaker 3: is it's not unrealistic. And I think he does have
- 15:55Speaker 3: some sort of anti establishment people who are going to
- 15:57Speaker 3: go in and start from a clean slate, a blank
- 15:59Speaker 3: piece of paper, and that's absolutely critical. But I also
- 16:01Speaker 3: think what you're saying for Sean Duffy, he's a friend
- 16:03Speaker 3: of mine. We are in Congress together. He's now I'm
- 16:05Speaker 3: going to head up the Department of Transportation, and folks
- 16:07Speaker 3: like but Shawn's a TV guy. That's what he does, right,
- 16:10Speaker 3: and it is what you're seeing is Trump In the
- 16:13Speaker 3: first term, Peers was upset that nobody was out there
- 16:15Speaker 3: selling besides him, that nobody was doing as good a
- 16:18Speaker 3: job selling. So he looked his hand over and said,
- 16:20Speaker 3: you know what, We're going to run policy from the
- 16:22Speaker 3: White House from inside the building. But we're gonna put
- 16:25Speaker 3: people out in these agencies who can come in and
- 16:28Speaker 3: do this and talk on television. He loves people are good.
- 16:30Speaker 1: On TV, and I think they're all good on team.
- 16:32Speaker 3: You know, I both know enough about the business. You
- 16:34Speaker 3: know you have to be able to do it in
- 16:35Speaker 3: short order. And this is his message. Look at what
- 16:37Speaker 3: they're doing to me. I'm rich, I'm famous, I'm white.
- 16:40Speaker 3: If they can do it to me, imagine what they
- 16:41Speaker 3: can do to you. Vote for me and I'll make
- 16:43Speaker 3: sure that doesn't happen. And he turned that into a juggernaut.
- 16:46Speaker 3: I did think he would win the two after the
- 16:50Speaker 3: two after the two excuse him lose my train of
- 16:53Speaker 3: thought the two conventions. Back when it was him and Biden,
- 16:56Speaker 3: I thought he'd crushed by.
- 16:57Speaker 1: We're the media now post this selection, because they're all in,
- 17:00Speaker 1: all the late night hosts, the view all these kind
- 17:03Speaker 1: of shows. We've got a clip of Stephen Colbert as
- 17:05Speaker 1: you are attacking you on the Late Show, not stra Damas.
- 17:11Speaker 1: I like that.
- 17:11Speaker 3: I remember that.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Oh look it is a comedian. But what my argument
- 17:15Speaker 1: about them is that they don't give their side the
- 17:18Speaker 1: same treatment. And when I talked to Jay Leno at length.
- 17:22Speaker 1: We were talking about Johnny Carson and how no one
- 17:24Speaker 1: knew his politics. He used to just rip into everybody.
- 17:27Speaker 1: So did Jay Leno, so did Letterman to a large degree,
- 17:30Speaker 1: this new breed of late night host they're so in
- 17:32Speaker 1: the tank for the Democrats. I can't watch it. The
- 17:36Speaker 1: view I can't watch because all six members of the
- 17:39Speaker 1: panel voted for Carmala Harris. What happens to them now?
- 17:44Speaker 1: And then my partnering his son and making him above
- 17:47Speaker 1: the law and making him unaccountable to the law. Biden
- 17:52Speaker 1: proved himself to be a liar, a hypocrite, and a
- 17:55Speaker 1: shameless opportunist. I think I speaking for both Democrats and
- 17:59Speaker 1: Republicans when I say that January the twentieth can't come
- 18:01Speaker 1: soon enough? Well, do you mean that? To discussal This
- 18:05Speaker 1: is the founder of the seventeen seventy six Project Pack,
- 18:08Speaker 1: Ryan Gadski, the Stream of Destiny, the co host of
- 18:11Speaker 1: It Would Take Cruz, Ben Ferguson, and host of the
- 18:14Speaker 1: Bituation podcast, Francesca Fearantini. Well, welcome to all of you, Destiny.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Let me start with you. You got anything or you'd
- 18:22Speaker 1: take him a Chuck Schumer defense.
- 18:26Speaker 8: No I think if a pardner is going to exist
- 18:27Speaker 8: as a presidential power, I think this is the perfect
- 18:29Speaker 8: time to use it.
- 18:30Speaker 4: The do oj and the judge even said yesterday that
- 18:32Speaker 4: this was the most despicable abuse of power.
- 18:35Speaker 5: Go listen to what the judge said.
- 18:37Speaker 4: He was not a conservative judge who wrote a scathing
- 18:39Speaker 4: review of the Biden administration's abusive power after there had
- 18:43Speaker 4: been a conviction for his son.
- 18:45Speaker 5: Go read what the judge wrote in.
- 18:48Speaker 8: Do you think that when does a pardon happen? If
- 18:50Speaker 8: not after a conviction? What do you think of partner
- 18:52Speaker 8: is for? Is every single part destiny?
- 18:56Speaker 3: Please?
- 18:56Speaker 5: Please let me say this. If it's this is the
- 18:59Speaker 5: part of you, Listen to what you're saying. Now, listen
- 19:02Speaker 5: to what you're saying.
- 19:03Speaker 4: You just said that you only give a pardon when
- 19:06Speaker 4: someone's been convicted. If that was true, they wouldn't have
- 19:10Speaker 4: just given a ten year absolute pardon to Hunter Biden
- 19:13Speaker 4: for a bunch of crimes he committed in case he
- 19:16Speaker 4: is actually investigated for the damn crime.
- 19:18Speaker 3: How are they going to deal with the debt? How
- 19:19Speaker 3: are they going to deal with Russia and China and
- 19:21Speaker 3: Taiwan if they can't even have a conversation.
- 19:24Speaker 1: You were obviously very closely with Trump. You a little
- 19:26Speaker 1: bit cheaper stuff. I wrote a column for the New
- 19:28Speaker 1: York Posts week after talking to him. Last week he
- 19:31Speaker 1: ran me for a chat. I known him a long time,
- 19:33Speaker 1: and I said, I really do feel he's a slightly
- 19:36Speaker 1: changed man. I don't think he's lost the pugilistic streak.
- 19:39Speaker 1: I don't think he's lost the trash talking or any
- 19:41Speaker 1: of the things which make him a unique and divisive character.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Even Gavin Newsom has broken ranks, telling Billy go that
- 19:48Speaker 1: he took Joe Biden at his word and cannot support
- 19:51Speaker 1: the decision. In other words, he trust him, trusted him,
- 19:54Speaker 1: got lied to, and feels betrayed. There's a total subjugation
- 19:57Speaker 1: of the democratic moral high ground a round just a
- 20:00Speaker 1: few wearied soldiers remain wandering listlessly across a deserted battlefield.
- 20:06Speaker 8: It as apparent.
- 20:07Speaker 7: I understand why he would do it, but I wonder
- 20:09Speaker 7: to understand why, why about it?
- 20:11Speaker 5: For so long?
- 20:12Speaker 3: I think exchange it exactly, except that.
- 20:14Speaker 1: He has he torched his legacy. Biden with us.
- 20:17Speaker 3: You know Biden if you go back fifty years, because
- 20:19Speaker 3: he's been in Washington for fifty years. He never really
- 20:21Speaker 3: had that much of a reputation for telling the truth
- 20:23Speaker 3: in the first place. Anybody remembers him in my country
- 20:26Speaker 3: from the eighties, it would be for plagiarizing speeches and
- 20:29Speaker 3: so forth. And he's a failed presidential candidate several times over,
- 20:32Speaker 3: so I'm not sure how much legacy he had in
- 20:33Speaker 3: the first place. I think he will go down in
- 20:35Speaker 3: history as a Democrat hero for one reason and one
- 20:38Speaker 3: reason only, and that is he beat Donald Trump in
- 20:40Speaker 3: twenty two, right, and that was enough for them.
- 20:42Speaker 1: You didn't think Trump would win again? No this year,
- 20:47Speaker 1: you said to NBC News in July. I think he's
- 20:49Speaker 1: the Republican most likely to lose in the general election
- 20:53Speaker 1: of all I didn't candidates. If I go back to
- 20:55Speaker 1: twenty twenty two, I didn't think he had a cat
- 20:56Speaker 1: in hell's job.
- 20:57Speaker 5: What are we even talking?
- 20:58Speaker 8: Do we even know all the government works in this country?
- 21:00Speaker 8: Are we talking about?
- 21:00Speaker 1: Right though?
- 21:03Speaker 4: A sweetheart deal? Peers, We got to go back to
- 21:05Speaker 4: the fact that the only reason why he was actually
- 21:08Speaker 4: prosecuted was because he was given such a ridiculous sweetheart
- 21:12Speaker 4: deal that a judge actually stood up and said, this
- 21:15Speaker 4: is abuse of power. I'm not going to accept it
- 21:18Speaker 4: from Biden's Department of Justice, saying this is un this
- 21:22Speaker 4: is something I've never seen before, it is unprecedent. No,
- 21:25Speaker 4: I'm not going to allow a deal for Hunter Biden
- 21:29Speaker 4: that is this sweet.
- 21:30Speaker 5: No, I'm stopping it.
- 21:31Speaker 4: And he stood up to the Department of Justice under
- 21:34Speaker 4: Joe Biden, who basically said, we can do whatever the
- 21:37Speaker 4: hell we want. We can sell out as much as
- 21:40Speaker 4: we want to the worst actors in the world, including
- 21:42Speaker 4: Russian oligarchs who are best friends with Vladimir Putin that
- 21:45Speaker 4: gave millions of dollars of Biden crime family and then
- 21:48Speaker 4: funneled it through shell companies with one hundred and fifty
- 21:51Speaker 4: plus suspicious activity reports.
- 21:53Speaker 5: Then that were reported from American banks. I'm not talking
- 21:58Speaker 5: about Roger Stone.
- 21:59Speaker 1: I'm talking about I'm just curious.
- 22:01Speaker 8: I don't want because i don't know all the time,
- 22:02Speaker 8: do the people who cover politics and these like actual
- 22:04Speaker 8: news people like, what is the background here on this show?
- 22:07Speaker 8: What's your point when you got when you have people.
- 22:12Speaker 4: Just go look at his laptop. He gave you all
- 22:14Speaker 4: the info. Hunter's laptop tells you the story.
- 22:17Speaker 6: You don't have to be a journalist, where where are
- 22:20Speaker 6: the charges then, I mean, where they've been investigating Hunter
- 22:23Speaker 6: Biden for four years?
- 22:24Speaker 8: Where are the charges? I thought we were going to
- 22:25Speaker 8: get a peach with charges from from Jim Jordan. Where
- 22:27Speaker 8: the charges for Hunter Biden?
- 22:29Speaker 5: It's a great question.
- 22:29Speaker 4: I can answer that they looked, made sure that the
- 22:34Speaker 4: statue of limitations on the worst crimes that dealt with
- 22:38Speaker 4: the tax issues.
- 22:40Speaker 5: We're outside the statue of limitations.
- 22:42Speaker 4: So if you go talk to a lawyer, they'll explain
- 22:44Speaker 4: what that means to you.
- 22:46Speaker 3: But the.
- 22:48Speaker 8: Resigation, the question you asked me questions where are the
- 22:53Speaker 8: journalists you just made question?
- 22:55Speaker 5: Are a violation?
- 22:56Speaker 8: You are violations
- 23:00Speaker 1: Ind H
