- 0:08Speaker 1: That leverage is exactly what you want to see in
- 0:10Speaker 1: a capital equipment company. And they're not just growing, they're
- 0:13Speaker 1: throwing off serious cash. What did free cash flow look like?
- 0:18Speaker 2: It's really the AI story. Alex CEO Rick Wallace was
- 0:22Speaker 2: crystal clear that AI infrastructure demand is a core driver.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Their tools are essential for manufacturing the advanced chips needed
- 0:30Speaker 2: for AI applications, everything from leading edge foundry Logic to
- 0:34Speaker 2: high bandwidth memory or HBM. What's fascinating is they're seeing
- 0:39Speaker 2: process control intensity increase dramatically, especially in memory. Wallace mentioned
- 0:44Speaker 2: that dram manufacturing now looks much more similar to what
- 0:48Speaker 2: Logic did not that long ago in terms of requiring
- 0:51Speaker 2: sophisticated inspection tools.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Speaking of markets, let's talk guidance. What's KLA expecting for
- 0:58Speaker 1: twenty twenty six.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Here's where it gets interesting. For the full year, they're
- 1:04Speaker 2: guiding for mid single digit revenue growth, but CFO Brn
- 1:07Speaker 2: Higgins emphasized that growth will accelerate in the second half.
- 1:10Speaker 2: They're expecting the core wafer fab equipment market to grow
- 1:13Speaker 2: high single to low double digits to about one hundred
- 1:16Speaker 2: twenty billion dollars plus an additional twelve billion dollars advanced
- 1:20Speaker 2: packaging market. But there's a constraint story here, Alex.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Right supply constraints. This came up multiple times in the
- 1:29Speaker 1: Q and A. What's the issue?
- 1:32Speaker 2: This is really interesting. Alex Kla is seeing rapidly escalating
- 1:37Speaker 2: costs for DRAM chips that go into their own image
- 1:39Speaker 2: processing computers. Higgins said this pricing environment has changed profoundly
- 1:44Speaker 2: over the past two to three months and will create
- 1:47Speaker 2: roughly seventy five to one hundred basis points of margin
- 1:50Speaker 2: headwind through twenty twenty six. They expect gross margins around
- 1:54Speaker 2: sixty two percent for the year, down from their historical
- 1:57Speaker 2: levels in the mid sixties, but they view this as
- 1:59Speaker 2: transitory and expect normalization in twenty twenty seven.
- 2:04Speaker 1: So, putting it all together, strong demand, supply constraints creating visibility,
- 2:09Speaker 1: some near term margin pressure, but structural growth drivers intact.
- 2:13Speaker 1: What's your take for investors? Any risks listeners should be
