- 0:02Speaker 1: Hey, welcome to the world-famous Phil Henry Show here from
- 0:05Speaker 1: Ted Bell Canyon, high above the great city of Los Angeles.
- 0:08Speaker 1: I'm Phil Henry. We've got Margaret Gray. We've got Bud Dickman.
- 0:10Speaker 1: We've got General Galen Shaw. We also have on the
- 0:12Speaker 1: line here Vernon Dozier from Belmar Academy. Vernon, can you
- 0:15Speaker 1: hear me?
- 0:16Speaker 2: Yeah, we all can hear you.
- 0:18Speaker 1: I can hear you pretty good, Phil. I want to
- 0:20Speaker 1: just thank you for joining us, Vernon. You're in the gym?
- 0:25Speaker 2: Yeah, we're working out in the gym. I'm with some
- 0:28Speaker 2: of the... Several of our players, you know, we have
- 0:31Speaker 2: the senior football season kicked off last week.
- 0:36Speaker 1: How are you guys doing?
- 0:38Speaker 2: I really, if you wouldn't mind, I don't want to
- 0:40Speaker 2: talk football at all. It's not that I'm not proud
- 0:43Speaker 2: of our team. It's not that I'm not doing things
- 0:45Speaker 2: that I think are going to help the team. But
- 0:48Speaker 2: talking about football with the media, Phil, so we had
- 0:53Speaker 2: a good run.
- 0:56Speaker 1: We don't have to talk about it, Vernon.
- 0:58Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 0:58Speaker 2: It's all right. But we had a good run. And
- 1:00Speaker 2: then in the last four or five years that Jason
- 1:03Speaker 2: Moron took over when I retired, they brought me back.
- 1:06Speaker 2: We have not. It's been no good. And between the
- 1:11Speaker 2: parents and the media.
- 1:13Speaker 1: You sound like you're under a little bit of pressure.
- 1:20Speaker 2: It's pressure. It really is. And I can tell you
- 1:23Speaker 2: one other thing, Phil. Some of the things I do
- 1:26Speaker 2: give me joy. I just want you to know listening
- 1:28Speaker 2: to your show gives me a lot of joy.
- 1:30Speaker 1: That's good news there, Coach. Thank you, Coach.
- 1:33Speaker 2: It does give me a great deal of joy. But
- 1:36Speaker 2: then here's what happened last night. I'm listening to this man,
- 1:40Speaker 2: Steve Dooley. Is that the guy?
- 1:42Speaker 1: Well, we had Bobby and Steve.
- 1:44Speaker 2: That's right. They're a man and wife.
- 1:45Speaker 1: That's right. Yes, sir.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Okay. And I'm listening to this guy. I listen to
- 1:50Speaker 2: this guy say... You know, you have to be careful
- 1:54Speaker 2: how you address my wife. You hear that?
- 1:57Speaker 1: They've got a new rule book there at the Western
- 2:00Speaker 1: Estates Homeowners Association where the president, which is what Bobby
- 2:04Speaker 1: Dooley is, needs to be addressed a certain way.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Well, yeah, see, that's the thing, because I almost called
- 2:12Speaker 2: you earlier. I almost called up Bob. Barry is Barry Dickman.
- 2:19Speaker 1: But his name is Bud Dickman. How come you guys
- 2:20Speaker 1: don't remember this? His name is Bud Dickman, Coach.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right, Bud Dickman. I've had a hard time
- 2:28Speaker 2: remembering names sometimes. I almost called up Bud Dickman and said,
- 2:32Speaker 2: can we just cancel out because I'm not handling this
- 2:36Speaker 2: too good.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Okay, Coach, tell me about it.
- 2:40Speaker 2: I don't expect you to be my head shrinker.
- 2:43Speaker 1: You're not our head shrinker. What's going on with you?
- 2:46Speaker 2: Well, the only thing that's going on, General and everybody there,
- 2:50Speaker 2: is that I am coaching the football team. I'm dealing
- 2:55Speaker 2: with parents. I am dealing with some of the memories
- 3:02Speaker 2: that I hear on your radio show when I was
- 3:05Speaker 2: dancing door to door. And I'm... I'm having a hard
- 3:10Speaker 2: time keeping it together, I guess is what I can say.
- 3:13Speaker 1: All right. Do you need to talk to somebody?
- 3:15Speaker 2: No, I don't need to talk to anybody. I need
- 3:18Speaker 2: to just, I need to get away from the pressures that.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Coach, why do you keep on coaching? Why are you
- 3:27Speaker 1: still at Belmar?
- 3:30Speaker 2: Because I got McWhorter's telling me that without me, they
- 3:36Speaker 2: haven't got a snowball's chance in hell.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Can we, could Father McCorders?
- 3:41Speaker 2: No, no, please don't. Please don't do that.
- 3:44Speaker 1: You don't want to talk to Father McCorders?
- 3:45Speaker 2: No, I just talked to him for an hour. I
- 3:49Speaker 2: just talked to him an hour.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Coach, you do not sound good. You don't sound good.
- 3:55Speaker 1: You shouldn't be on the air with us.
- 3:56Speaker 2: No, the one joy I get in this world, Phil,
- 3:59Speaker 2: is talking to people who are relatively sane like yourself
- 4:02Speaker 2: and with Ms. Gray and Coach McCorders. I mean, Joe Jones.
- 4:09Speaker 1: You're talking about me?
- 4:10Speaker 2: Yeah, General Shaw, I'm sorry. And Ben Pippa, Bud Dickman.
- 4:15Speaker 2: It's the one joy I get. If you make me
- 4:17Speaker 2: talk to the front of my quarters, I was just
- 4:20Speaker 2: listening to a show that you did. You were talking
- 4:23Speaker 2: to a man named Roland Schwinn, and his kids were
- 4:26Speaker 2: doing so good in school that he wanted to put
- 4:28Speaker 2: them in the trunk of a car and drive it
- 4:30Speaker 2: off a cliff.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Yes, that's right. That was during a very, very horrifying period.
- 4:36Speaker 1: in the country, the history of the country, the summer
- 4:38Speaker 1: of 2002, where there were parents, there were a lot
- 4:41Speaker 1: of high-profile, you know, whatever it's called, children aside.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Well, killing your kids.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Yeah, killing your kids stories.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Well, I'm not there. I wouldn't want to kill any
- 4:55Speaker 2: of my kids. But I got between Father McWhorter's and
- 4:59Speaker 2: the parents and the football season.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Okay, so what can we do to help you? What
- 5:07Speaker 1: do you need, coach?
- 5:09Speaker 2: What do I need? It'd be nice if my wife
- 5:14Speaker 2: made a little bit of time.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Oh, so you're not having any intimate time with your wife?
- 5:19Speaker 2: No, she's off. I don't know. She's too tired. She's
- 5:25Speaker 2: doing a job now. Works for a lawyer. She's the
- 5:28Speaker 2: executive assistant. to a lawyer. I know you know who
- 5:32Speaker 2: Mandy is.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Yeah, we all know the story. She's like much younger
- 5:36Speaker 1: than you. Like Dr. Sadler's wife. In fact, both of
- 5:38Speaker 1: you guys have wives named Mandy, no, maybe Mindy.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Well, I don't call it Mandy, maybe Mindy.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Nobody knows the names of either of your wives. Both
- 5:49Speaker 1: of them are named Mandy.
- 5:50Speaker 2: It's Mindy, Phil. I swear to almighty.
- 5:53Speaker 1: You have called her Mindy and Mandy over the years,
- 5:55Speaker 1: just like Sadler calls his wife. Which is it?
- 6:00Speaker 2: Wow, good God, I'm sitting here in the crosshairs.
- 6:05Speaker 1: No, nobody's putting you in the crosshairs, Coach. Why don't
- 6:09Speaker 1: you drink some water, would you, Coach? You sound like
- 6:11Speaker 1: a fruit. Oh, great.
- 6:14Speaker 2: How does it sound now?
- 6:15Speaker 1: Your voice is back.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Uh... Yes, you're right. I met Mandy when I was
- 6:22Speaker 2: her teacher. I had nothing to do with her. We
- 6:25Speaker 2: were not intimate until she turned 18. And even then,
- 6:28Speaker 2: we didn't have anything to do with each other. When
- 6:30Speaker 2: she turned 18 and then graduated, when she come off
- 6:32Speaker 2: the stage there at Belmar Academy and graduated, and that's
- 6:39Speaker 2: when we went over to the Blue Moon Motel.
- 6:42Speaker 1: You went over to the Blue Moon Motel and did what?
- 6:45Speaker 2: None of your business.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Well, did you get married?
- 6:49Speaker 2: Yeah, well, yes, we did get married. We got married
- 6:51Speaker 2: in the lobby of the Blue Moon Motel and then
- 6:54Speaker 2: put out the Do Not Disturb sign. Okay.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I can hear the Dooley's. Are they there?
- 7:00Speaker 2: Yeah, Bobby and Steve Dooley, line three.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Bobby and Steve Dooley are on the line, Coach.
- 7:04Speaker 2: And why would I care about that?
- 7:06Speaker 1: Because we wanted to kind of... I don't know, mix
- 7:08Speaker 1: and mingle our guests here this evening, see if we
- 7:11Speaker 1: can come up with sort of a dynamic. Bob, are
- 7:13Speaker 1: you there?
- 7:13Speaker 3: Yes, Phil. Hi, Coach. I've admired your appearances on the
- 7:18Speaker 3: Phil Henry Show.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Thank you very much.
- 7:21Speaker 1: And Steve?
- 7:21Speaker 2: Yeah, Steve Dilley.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Hi, Coach. Hi. Okay, Bobby, I know you wanted to
- 7:25Speaker 1: come back on and discuss the way you need to
- 7:29Speaker 1: be addressed as the Homeowners Association president, and we're going
- 7:33Speaker 1: to try to make this relevant to Coach Dozier, who
- 7:36Speaker 1: is feeling a little down. He's feeling pressured.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Well, if you don't mind me saying, Coach, it sounds
- 7:41Speaker 3: to me like you have those instincts that I think
- 7:46Speaker 3: a lot of parents have and a lot of teachers have,
- 7:49Speaker 3: people who are in charge of young people. It sounds like...
- 7:54Speaker 3: You want to just... Something we want to do. God
- 8:02Speaker 3: help us, Phil.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Okay, what's going on here?
- 8:05Speaker 2: I think they're having the same instincts, which is when
- 8:08Speaker 2: you just get so sick and tired.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Sometimes, Phil, you want to take... What I say to
- 8:14Speaker 3: Steve is, I feel like taking a ride today. And
- 8:18Speaker 3: Steve will look at me and nod.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what a ride means.
- 8:21Speaker 3: We know... When I say taking a ride today, I
- 8:24Speaker 3: want to take the boys in the car right up
- 8:27Speaker 3: here to Chantry Flats, just above where you live, Phil,
- 8:31Speaker 3: where there's a nice....
- 8:34Speaker 1: Where there's a nice big drop-off.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Yes, that's right.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Yes, see, Phil, and you not being a parent, this
- 8:42Speaker 2: does not strike you the same way it strikes us.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Well, I don't understand what's going on here. Is this
- 8:48Speaker 1: the result of this show that you were listening to,
- 8:51Speaker 1: the Roland Schwinn show?
- 8:52Speaker 2: This is the result of me having pressure from parents,
- 8:55Speaker 2: the football team, the administration faculty at the Belmar Academy.
- 9:01Speaker 3: And this is for us, Phil. It's just the summer.
- 9:04Speaker 3: You know, the summer's just passed. Butner Lake. Why don't
- 9:11Speaker 3: the Homers Association take the phone, please? Don't ever talk
- 9:15Speaker 3: when I'm talking.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Hey, Bobby, a little bit of respect for your husband.
- 9:19Speaker 3: All right.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Oh, wow, she threw the bone at me, Mr. Henry. Uh-oh.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Is she really hitting him?
- 9:28Speaker 1: You're not hitting him, are you?
- 9:29Speaker 3: No.
- 9:30Speaker 2: No, she's not.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I'm hanging up the next time you guys do that.
- 9:33Speaker 2: I've heard them do that, Mr.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Henry.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Why do they do that?
- 9:36Speaker 1: They do it to piss me off.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Hold on, Steve. Just back up. Back up. Keep backing up.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Keep backing up. Right there. Stay there. Phil, we have
- 9:47Speaker 3: undergone our own kind of pressure running the homeowners association,
- 9:51Speaker 3: having the boys to raise, being in the PTO, and
- 9:54Speaker 3: some days, yes, God help me, Phil, but some days
- 9:59Speaker 3: you want to get the boys into the car with
- 10:01Speaker 3: you and drive it up a pier.
- 10:03Speaker 2: I want to do a Susan Smith.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Mention that slut.
- 10:11Speaker 2: You just mentioned the name Susan Smith. Didn't she do that?
- 10:13Speaker 2: She took her kid's What she did is what I called,
- 10:19Speaker 2: they went swimming.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right. They went swimming. And three went in,
- 10:24Speaker 3: one came out.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:28Speaker 2: That reminds me of a song.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Wait just a minute, you guys.
- 10:31Speaker 3: What? What's wrong, Phil?
- 10:32Speaker 1: What do you mean three? That reminds me of a song,
- 10:34Speaker 1: three went in, one came out. You guys are talking
- 10:37Speaker 1: about killing children here like it's some kind of a game.
- 10:41Speaker 3: I haven't killed anyone, Phil.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Nor have I, Mr. Henry.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Okay, but you guys are fantasizing about it. I wouldn't understand, huh?
- 10:54Speaker 3: No, you wouldn't, okay? It's just that sometimes, Phil, you
- 10:58Speaker 3: look at those kids and you realize... Just as Mr.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Schwinn said on your show once.
- 11:04Speaker 1: We're actually reciting, not reciting, we're replaying that Radio Archive
- 11:08Speaker 1: show of Roland Schwinn talking about the temptation of killing
- 11:13Speaker 1: his kids because they're going to go to Mars.
- 11:15Speaker 3: That's exactly right, because you know your kids are going
- 11:18Speaker 3: to travel to Mars. And they'll travel to Pluto.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Our children, Mr. Henry, are going to be going into
- 11:26Speaker 2: outer space, traveling and colonizing other planets. And we won't.
- 11:30Speaker 2: We're stuck here with our nose up, if you pardon
- 11:33Speaker 2: the expression, Mr. Henry, but I've got my nose up
- 11:36Speaker 2: the crack of high school football.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I understand. So, all right, so why did you quit? Yeah,
- 11:43Speaker 1: why did you quit?
- 11:45Speaker 2: I can't quit now, man. We're like four games into
- 11:47Speaker 2: the season. If I quit now, the quarters, you talk
- 11:50Speaker 2: about somebody who's going to, you know, someone's going to
- 11:53Speaker 2: pop their court. He's going to walk all the way
- 11:55Speaker 2: to the top of the belfry at Belmar Academy, way, way,
- 11:58Speaker 2: way up there where the bell is, and he's going
- 12:00Speaker 2: to do one of those dives where his rope, he's
- 12:02Speaker 2: just going to go, and you'll see his rope flapping
- 12:06Speaker 2: in the wind.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 12:08Speaker 2: You serious? I'm dead serious.
- 12:11Speaker 1: So let's see. McWhorter's is a suicide threat. You're a
- 12:14Speaker 1: suicide threat. Mr. and Mrs. Dooley are a suicide threat.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Anybody else here?
- 12:18Speaker 3: No.
- 12:18Speaker 1: No, I'm fine.
- 12:20Speaker 3: I'm fine.
- 12:21Speaker 1: I feel pretty good.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Well, isn't that nice?
- 12:25Speaker 3: You don't understand the pressures of what we're under as parents.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Well, I understand the pressures of being a parent.
- 12:32Speaker 3: You have one stinking kid, okay?
- 12:36Speaker 1: You watch how you talk about my son.
- 12:38Speaker 3: And you watch how you talk about my sons.
- 12:40Speaker 1: I've said nothing about your sons other than the most
- 12:43Speaker 1: positive things. Bobby, you know, just relax.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Hey, listen, Mr. Henry, the last time I heard Margaret
- 12:50Speaker 3: talk about her son, she was saying what a great
- 12:52Speaker 3: ass he is.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Very good. You've got to be kidding me.
- 12:55Speaker 1: No, she did that. All right, I'm sorry. Hey, what
- 12:59Speaker 1: is it with everybody's losing it? Everyone's losing it today,
- 13:01Speaker 1: and I think it might be the heat. I don't
- 13:04Speaker 1: know what it's going to be. It might be the
- 13:06Speaker 1: fact that you listened to that show, Coach... Listen, Coach,
- 13:10Speaker 1: you're having a tough season. I understand that. You are
- 13:14Speaker 1: under a lot of pressure because you're back teaching. Why
- 13:16Speaker 1: don't you just see the season through and have a
- 13:18Speaker 1: big retirement party? We'll throw a retirement party for you
- 13:21Speaker 1: at the end of the season and get the hell
- 13:23Speaker 1: out of teaching and get the hell out of everything
- 13:26Speaker 1: and relax for at least one year.
- 13:29Speaker 2: It's pretty tempting.
- 13:31Speaker 3: I think that sounds great. We could have it at
- 13:35Speaker 3: Western Estates.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Have what?
- 13:37Speaker 3: Have your retirement party.
- 13:39Speaker 1: That sounds like a lot of fun, Coach. What are
- 13:48Speaker 1: you doing?
- 13:49Speaker 2: Oh, nothing. I just... Just what? I'm sorry. I absentmindedly
- 13:54Speaker 2: put my hand in my pants.
- 13:57Speaker 1: So Bobby and Steve Dooley are with us.
- 13:59Speaker 2: And you're not going to talk to me?
- 14:01Speaker 1: Yes, I'm going to talk to you, but just sit there.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Bobby and Steve Doolier with us. Bobby and Steve have
- 14:06Speaker 1: instituted some protocols, some questions, behaviors around the Western States
- 14:11Speaker 1: Homeless Association president, which happens to be you, Bobby. What
- 14:14Speaker 1: are these new protocols?
- 14:15Speaker 3: You know, we are just simply saying that you have respect. Like,
- 14:19Speaker 3: for instance, in this conversation that you and I are
- 14:22Speaker 3: having today, I haven't said anything. But several times you've
- 14:27Speaker 3: been talking to me, and then you'll turn your attention
- 14:30Speaker 3: to Coach Dozier. You'll turn your attention to someone without
- 14:34Speaker 3: even so much as saying, excuse me, Bobby, I'm now
- 14:37Speaker 3: turning my attention away from you to someone else.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Steve?
- 14:41Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right, Mr.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Eddie.
- 14:42Speaker 1: It's part of the bylaws that we have when you
- 14:44Speaker 1: talk to the president.
- 14:45Speaker 2: You have to say, excuse me, I'm going to turn
- 14:47Speaker 2: my attention away from you now and to another one.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Okay, I mean, if that's all it is, I can
- 14:53Speaker 1: certainly do that.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Well, that's not all it is. There are certain respectful things.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Okay, so... Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 15:00Speaker 3: See right there, you just interrupted me. Sorry. There are
- 15:03Speaker 3: certain respectful things that you do. Calling me Ms. Dooley
- 15:07Speaker 3: is not bad when I'm in my official capacity as
- 15:11Speaker 3: the Homeowners Association president.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Hi, Ms. Dooley.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Wait, wait! You want to act like a bitch, you.
- 15:21Speaker 1: I cut him off. Yeah, I heard that. You also
- 15:24Speaker 1: caught up with Coach Dozier, so let's get him back. Yeah,
- 15:27Speaker 1: Coach Dozier, yeah.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Give me the phone, will you, bud? Quit strolling around
- 15:33Speaker 1: like that, Coach.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm here.
- 15:35Speaker 1: What are you guys talking about? Dickman was laughing about something.
- 15:40Speaker 2: I don't know. I wasn't even on the phone.
- 15:42Speaker 1: So you just do that on purpose, huh?
- 15:44Speaker 2: That one time.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Boy, that's weird, bud.
- 15:47Speaker 2: What?
- 15:47Speaker 1: Sitting there going, yeah, talking to nobody. Speaking of talking
- 15:51Speaker 1: to nobody. Yeah, Phil, I wouldn't be pointing fingers in
- 15:54Speaker 1: that direction. Coach, Vernon Dozier joining us. Bobby and Steve
- 15:59Speaker 1: Dooley we just got rid of because they sound like
- 16:00Speaker 1: they're under too much pressure. You also seem to be
- 16:02Speaker 1: under a lot of pressure, coach. And we wish you
- 16:06Speaker 1: the best in this coming football season. Frankly, I don't
- 16:09Speaker 1: care that much about football anymore.
- 16:11Speaker 2: I was here, and I heard a couple of things,
- 16:13Speaker 2: that you don't watch American football anymore. Is that right?
- 16:15Speaker 1: I don't watch it the way I used to. I'm
- 16:18Speaker 1: not hooked on it the way I used to be.
- 16:20Speaker 1: I had season tickets for the Rams. I went for years.
- 16:24Speaker 1: The last fight I got into was at Anaheim Stadium
- 16:27Speaker 1: in a Rams game.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Well, I heard about that so-called fight, Phil. Now, the
- 16:31Speaker 2: two of you guys squared off. Isn't that right?
- 16:34Speaker 1: Yeah, we squared off and the Anaheim police came down.
- 16:38Speaker 2: So did you actually throw punches? Almost. Almost?
- 16:43Speaker 1: Mr.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Henry.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Hey, look, I'm going to let you go, coach, okay?
- 16:46Speaker 1: Because you don't sound like you can really communicate in
- 16:48Speaker 1: a civilized tone with people.
- 16:50Speaker 2: All right, I'm sorry, but.
- 16:54Speaker 2: What I... More than anything, Phil, I want to ask
- 16:56Speaker 2: you about that fight because I... When I go out
- 16:59Speaker 2: on the field now.
- 17:01Speaker 2: And I deal with the parents at Belmar Academy, and
- 17:05Speaker 2: I deal with the opposing coaches, and I deal with
- 17:07Speaker 2: the team. I want to throw hands, and I want
- 17:11Speaker 2: to get a fight.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Coach, you were feeling violent.
- 17:16Speaker 2: I wouldn't say it's violent in the sense that I
- 17:18Speaker 2: want to end someone's life. God, I want to hit someone.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I think you need to quit that job.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Agreed.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Yeah, you need to quit the job, and probably if
- 17:28Speaker 1: you don't quit the job, we probably ought to go
- 17:30Speaker 1: and tell Father McCorders to quit the job.
- 17:34Speaker 2: You would do what?
- 17:36Speaker 1: Well, wait a minute. We're not going to do that, bud.
- 17:38Speaker 1: We probably ought to, because you sound like you're going
- 17:40Speaker 1: to lose it.
- 17:41Speaker 2: You guys would actually go to McCorders?
- 17:44Speaker 3: Boy, what a couple of assholes you are.
- 17:48Speaker 2: I can't take it, man.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Phil's problem is there's no air conditioning in the studio.
- 17:52Speaker 2: No, there isn't.
- 17:53Speaker 1: And I'm dying. Well, do you think we're feeling good? No,
- 17:56Speaker 1: I don't think you're feeling good. Coach Vernon Dozier there,
- 17:59Speaker 1: who sounds to me like he's ready for retirement. Absolutely.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Bobby and Steve Dooley, who sound to me like these
- 18:04Speaker 1: new rules that they've instituted are not going to do
- 18:07Speaker 1: anybody any good. And I'm Phil Henry. I'm Margaret Gray.
- 18:11Speaker 1: I'm Bud Dickman. I'm General Galen Shaw. And there's no
- 18:14Speaker 1: air conditioning in this studio. World-famous Phil Henry Show, executive
