- 2:52Speaker 1: Yeah, that was a stupid game.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Is kind of stupid, but that was really stupid.
- 3:01Speaker 3: It's Friday, and got a game for you.
- 3:12Speaker 1: John Dane Rich. So Payton's been married for what two
- 3:14Speaker 1: months now? Yeah, just about two months, and this is
- 3:16Speaker 1: breaking news. I can't wait to hear she found something
- 3:20Speaker 1: out about Kadeem, her husband, that you didn't know before
- 3:24Speaker 1: you got married.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:26Speaker 4: I feel so betrayed.
- 3:27Speaker 5: And to be completely honest, I feel like our entire
- 3:29Speaker 5: relationship and marriage has been based on a lie.
- 3:32Speaker 2: What really I do?
- 3:34Speaker 6: I do?
- 3:35Speaker 5: He gets on my nerves I discovered about him.
- 3:39Speaker 4: This is so stupid.
- 3:41Speaker 5: Okay, So you know Kadeem and I we actually met
- 3:44Speaker 5: in college playing basketball. He played basketball his whole life.
- 3:47Speaker 5: I played basketball my whole life. Both our dads were
- 3:50Speaker 5: our coaches growing up. That's where we that's where we are,
- 3:53Speaker 5: that's where we connect. Right. So, Kadem, he actually shoots
- 3:57Speaker 5: the basketball with his left hand, but he writes and
- 4:00Speaker 5: eats with his right hand. So he told me when
- 4:03Speaker 5: we first started dating that when he was like three
- 4:06Speaker 5: or four, when he really started to pick up a basketball,
- 4:09Speaker 5: that he broke his right arm so he had to
- 4:11Speaker 5: learn how to shoot with his left hand. I was like,
- 4:14Speaker 5: makes sense to me.
- 4:15Speaker 4: You do everything else with your right hand. You're just
- 4:17Speaker 4: a left handed shooter. Pretty cool whatever.
- 4:19Speaker 5: Come to find out, apparently this mofo is ambidextrious.
- 4:23Speaker 4: He's not just left handed.
- 4:27Speaker 2: So did he not break his arm?
- 4:28Speaker 3: He didn't break his army straight up?
- 4:30Speaker 5: This lie.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Why wouldn't he just say is ambidex I would think
- 4:33Speaker 1: the bigger thing is about being ambidextriates that he lies?
- 4:36Speaker 5: Yeah, why he just got on him. But I was like,
- 4:40Speaker 5: why would you make that story up and tell me that?
- 4:42Speaker 5: He was like I told you that. I was like, yeah,
- 4:45Speaker 5: So apparently this is just something he tells random people.
- 4:48Speaker 5: So apparently I was just a random person at one
- 4:50Speaker 5: point and why you were you were betrayed?
- 4:53Speaker 2: Can he write both perfectly?
- 4:55Speaker 7: No?
- 4:55Speaker 5: He so he's he can write with his right hand,
- 4:58Speaker 5: but if like he were to or punch, he's punching
- 5:01Speaker 5: with his left sense. But if he was going to
- 5:03Speaker 5: go kick somebody, he's kicking.
- 5:04Speaker 4: With his right foot.
- 5:05Speaker 2: You know what happened, Rich, tell the story. Rich.
- 5:07Speaker 3: I'm left handed, but I went to a Catholic school.
- 5:10Speaker 3: In all the desks for those little right handed desks,
- 5:13Speaker 3: and I couldn't reach over far enough to write. And
- 5:17Speaker 3: then one of my nuns said, well, the devil is
- 5:19Speaker 3: left handed. So I switched to my right hand.
- 5:22Speaker 4: That is dia barde.
- 5:26Speaker 3: I even got. I asked my parents to put me
- 5:28Speaker 3: in a class where they would pull me out of
- 5:30Speaker 3: class and show me how to write with my right
- 5:32Speaker 3: hand on. But you see, like how crazy? Do you see?
- 5:37Speaker 3: How crazy neat my writing is? That's because of all that,
- 5:41Speaker 3: because I was afraid to wret.
- 5:43Speaker 5: Used to walk around with like the rulers back then did.
- 5:45Speaker 3: But there when we used to have to do essays,
- 5:47Speaker 3: I could flip back and forth pretty regularly. I'd write
- 5:50Speaker 3: something with my right and then I'd switch to my left.
- 5:52Speaker 3: And you couldn't tell the.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Difference, So Paynt found out that her husband is ambidextrious.
- 5:57Speaker 2: That's the big lie before she got married.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Sarah, Sarah, what did you find out about your significant
- 6:02Speaker 1: other after you got married?
- 6:04Speaker 8: It was a couple of years after that. He showed
- 6:06Speaker 8: me a YouTube video of himself up against Joey Chestnut,
- 6:11Speaker 8: the world hot dog eating champion.
- 6:14Speaker 4: No way, that's awesome.
- 6:16Speaker 2: I'm assuming he did not win. He did not win,
- 6:19Speaker 2: but he's right next to him sucking down hot dogs
- 6:21Speaker 2: left and right.
- 6:23Speaker 8: Yeah, he signed up because he was a little bit
- 6:26Speaker 8: inebriated and he decided he wanted some free sausages.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Well I had I get that. How did he how
- 6:31Speaker 3: did he do? What did he? Was he at least
- 6:34Speaker 3: in the in the competition?
- 6:36Speaker 8: No? No, no, he's the guy next.
- 6:41Speaker 1: It's bad if you would have known this before you
- 6:43Speaker 1: got married. But you've been like, WHOA hold on a minute.
- 6:45Speaker 1: I don't think so.
- 6:47Speaker 9: No.
- 6:47Speaker 8: I think it would have stealed the deal a lot quicker.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Okay, all right, Sarah, thank you for calling in Christina.
- 6:54Speaker 1: What did you find out about your significant other after
- 6:57Speaker 1: you got married?
- 6:58Speaker 7: I found out early during an episode of Everyone Loves Raymond.
- 7:03Speaker 7: This is after three years, and I said, could you
- 7:06Speaker 7: imagine if there's something that I was doing that you
- 7:09Speaker 7: repeatedly did not like? And that's when he told me
- 7:13Speaker 7: he actually doesn't like anything.
- 7:15Speaker 10: With lemons, referring to my lemon chicken.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Oh no, so you making lemon chicken. He would still
- 7:22Speaker 2: eat it.
- 7:23Speaker 11: Oh.
- 7:23Speaker 7: I was making it once a week and he was
- 7:26Speaker 7: eating it the whole thing.
- 7:28Speaker 6: Never said anything.
- 7:29Speaker 7: Oh he said something. Yeah, he finally said something during
- 7:33Speaker 7: an episode of Everyone.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Loved kind of cute.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Thank you, Christina, thanks for sharing that story. These are
- 7:40Speaker 1: really cute. I thought it was gonna go totally stop.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I found out that he was, you know, gay only
- 7:45Speaker 1: fan star.
- 7:45Speaker 5: Jeez, that's how I felt like.
- 7:48Speaker 3: I'm sure you were shook to the core.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Why would you let's do more? Eight seven, seven nine
- 7:56Speaker 1: three seven one four seven. What did you find out
- 7:59Speaker 1: about your significant other after you got married?
- 8:02Speaker 2: We'll talk to you next, John, Jay and Rich Why.
- 8:04Speaker 7: You always in moon.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Play? Played by your ruse.
- 8:13Speaker 1: If. Stephanie Peyton told us that she learned something about
- 8:16Speaker 1: her husband after they got married.
- 8:17Speaker 2: The don't have been married two months. She learned that
- 8:19Speaker 2: he's ambidextrious.
- 8:20Speaker 1: What did you learn about your significant other after you
- 8:23Speaker 1: got married.
- 8:24Speaker 6: My husband and I dated for nine years before we
- 8:26Speaker 6: got married, and three years after he and I got married,
- 8:30Speaker 6: I found out he had a brother.
- 8:32Speaker 3: What well, no, I'll even gotchup even before we got married.
- 8:38Speaker 6: Two weeks before we got married, he came home. We
- 8:41Speaker 6: had just moved in together, getting ready for the wedding,
- 8:43Speaker 6: and he came home one day, two weeks before we
- 8:46Speaker 6: got married, and he said, Hey, my brother Tony wants
- 8:49Speaker 6: to come over and meet you. And I went, who's
- 8:51Speaker 6: Tony my brother? Okay, well, I didn't think much of
- 8:55Speaker 6: about it. And then three years afterwards, we have a
- 8:58Speaker 6: joint profile on Facebook and I get the Sundary quest
- 9:02Speaker 6: from somebody and I said, hey, do you know who.
- 9:03Speaker 9: This person is?
- 9:04Speaker 1: He goes, yes, my brother.
- 9:05Speaker 6: I'm like, okay, wait a minute, are there any other
- 9:08Speaker 6: siblings I.
- 9:08Speaker 4: Need to know about?
- 9:11Speaker 2: Hilarious?
- 9:12Speaker 6: I know that was the last one.
- 9:14Speaker 3: There's some dudes that if you don't ask him, you
- 9:16Speaker 3: just don't find out. It's not like they're trying to
- 9:18Speaker 3: keep it from you, they just don't share. I don't share.
- 9:23Speaker 6: Yes, that was a little.
- 9:25Speaker 11: Bit of a surprise.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Thank you, Stephanie. Thanks for listening, Thanks for calling in,
- 9:28Speaker 2: Thank you for listening.
- 9:29Speaker 11: Yeah you got it?
- 9:30Speaker 1: Eight seven seven ninety seven four seven. What did you
- 9:32Speaker 1: find out about your shiitificaten? Other after he got married?
- 9:35Speaker 1: A couple of texts. Lisa says that he drank two
- 9:39Speaker 1: beers every night after he got home from work.
- 9:42Speaker 2: I was worried too.
- 9:42Speaker 1: It increased and I told him I wouldn't be married
- 9:44Speaker 1: to an alcoholic. Forty years later, it's still just two
- 9:48Speaker 1: beers every night. Oh. My mom found out after twenty
- 9:53Speaker 1: years of marriage that my dad had been married two
- 9:55Speaker 1: times prior instead of one. During my grandmother's funeral, both
- 10:00Speaker 1: ex wives and my mom were in attendance to pay respect.
- 10:03Speaker 1: My dad's response was he didn't have kids, so it
- 10:05Speaker 1: didn't seem like it mattered.
- 10:06Speaker 2: It was just my practice marriage.
- 10:09Speaker 3: He's like, you, I got it right.
- 10:11Speaker 1: When we got married. Betty says, we got married. When
- 10:13Speaker 1: he met me, he told me his name was NICKI
- 10:14Speaker 1: when he got married, I learned.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Out that his name was Miguel.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Violet says, I got married, I found out he folds
- 10:22Speaker 1: the towels wrong. Charman, what'd you find out about your
- 10:27Speaker 1: your scenamic? Another Sharman Sharman.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Oh my God, might have us muted.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Sure, Scharman, I'm gonna keep gogle a couple more of these, Charmon,
- 10:43Speaker 1: hopefully you can pick up.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Let's see found out that she was by? Interesting? Okay,
- 10:51Speaker 2: well hold on, Charman, we'll come back to you. Gloria.
- 10:55Speaker 7: Hello, I found out that he was by, and I
- 11:00Speaker 7: had like I kind of knew.
- 11:02Speaker 11: But once we got married, he came clean.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Why not share that before? You think that would be
- 11:10Speaker 3: something you need to know?
- 11:11Speaker 4: But is that why? I did he share that? Because
- 11:15Speaker 4: he wanted to bring someone else in? Like, what was
- 11:17Speaker 4: the point of sharing that?
- 11:19Speaker 9: It's like at that point, you guys, I think.
- 11:22Speaker 10: I think it was. Well, it was during COVID and
- 11:25Speaker 10: you know a lot of people were going through.
- 11:29Speaker 7: Loneliness, that kind of thing.
- 11:31Speaker 6: So I think that m pumpling to me, Yeah, your.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Your quarantine went on floor around what best?
- 11:39Speaker 3: Let's see let's see how you are.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Are you still with him, Gloria, Yes.
- 11:44Speaker 10: I am.
- 11:46Speaker 11: We've been married for.
- 11:47Speaker 8: Nine years now.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Well thanks for calling in.
- 11:50Speaker 11: Thank you?
- 11:51Speaker 1: Just chicken with Sherman Charmany there, Charman, not Sherman Charman anyway,
- 12:00Speaker 1: Maybe Charlemagne. It's Charlemagne and the breakfast. I'll put it
- 12:05Speaker 1: back on hold.
- 12:06Speaker 2: One etarity, lay down, Okay, listen.
- 12:10Speaker 1: I'm hesitant to do this, you guys, okay, so bear
- 12:12Speaker 1: with me, but let's just try it. Charman, good morning.
- 12:18Speaker 11: Good morning. Well you guys are gonna probably be blown
- 12:40Speaker 11: away by this. But after I got married, I found
- 12:43Speaker 11: out that my husband is a gang member.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Oh like gang member, like street gang, or like cartel
- 12:49Speaker 1: or like mafia.
- 12:51Speaker 11: Like a Latin king gang member.
- 12:56Speaker 4: And I hesitate to ask how you found out? How
- 13:00Speaker 4: do you stumble up? Yeah, you know exactly.
- 13:06Speaker 6: No.
- 13:06Speaker 11: He he he got a phone call and he was
- 13:09Speaker 11: very hush hush about it. So I kept questioning and
- 13:12Speaker 11: questioning him, and he ended up telling me, and I'm like,
- 13:15Speaker 11: oh my god, why didn't you tell me this before
- 13:18Speaker 11: we got married? Because I didn't think you would marry me?
- 13:21Speaker 11: And I was like, you know, I don't, I don't
- 13:24Speaker 11: judge people, but I wish he would have told me
- 13:27Speaker 11: that that's what he was. Not that. I mean, I
- 13:30Speaker 11: know I'm protected, I'm not worried about that, but just
- 13:33Speaker 11: knowing and him keeping something so big from me was
- 13:37Speaker 11: like way out there.
- 13:39Speaker 3: So is the call him when he gets a call
- 13:42Speaker 3: is it he's getting, you know, assigned a task or
- 13:45Speaker 3: something from the gang.
- 13:49Speaker 11: Yes, and no he's Ah, God, I don't know if
- 13:55Speaker 11: I should say that on the air, but yeah, he's
- 13:58Speaker 11: getting a call for or him to go do things.
- 14:02Speaker 2: But is he a hit man?
- 14:03Speaker 11: Since I don't, I really, I don't.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Want to see independent higher.
- 14:13Speaker 1: So you're so you're still you're still married to him?
- 14:17Speaker 11: Oh, definitely.
- 14:19Speaker 1: But he lives in the United States. He lives in
- 14:21Speaker 1: the United States, but works for a Mexican cartel.
- 14:25Speaker 11: Well, he's Puerto Rican, not a cartel. He's not a cartel.
- 14:31Speaker 11: Things get done and things get said, so you know,
- 14:35Speaker 11: and it's never it's it's never about anything that has
- 14:38Speaker 11: to do with a family or anything like that. It's
- 14:42Speaker 11: just you know, you just you you don't. You can't
- 14:45Speaker 11: cross him. And he's not a bad guy. You've got
- 14:47Speaker 11: the biggest heart in the world that I've ever met,
- 14:49Speaker 11: Like he's he's my everything. But just I wish he
- 14:53Speaker 11: would have said something, you know, so I would have
- 14:55Speaker 11: been prepared because the phone call, I wasn't. I wasn't
- 14:58Speaker 11: prepared for.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Hey, what happened in the beginning this phone I tried
- 15:01Speaker 1: to pick you up twice and it didn't work, and
- 15:02Speaker 1: I'm doing something that I hate doing.
- 15:04Speaker 4: So I was trying to stop her from saying there
- 15:06Speaker 4: was no.
- 15:07Speaker 1: No, no, I was gonna say because my wife, she's one
- 15:09Speaker 1: of these people were like her and I are talking
- 15:11Speaker 1: and if there's a disconnection on the phone when she
- 15:13Speaker 1: calls back, the whole conversation about what happened, what happened,
- 15:16Speaker 1: I'm driving through a tunnel? What why did we get disconnected?
- 15:19Speaker 1: It must be you. It must not be you. Mean,
- 15:21Speaker 1: I'm like, it doesn't matter, which is what we would
- 15:23Speaker 1: we talk about. But I don't understand my phone must
- 15:25Speaker 1: be acting weird. And that's the whole conversation. And then
- 15:27Speaker 1: I go, Okay, I gotta go buy. So I was like,
- 15:29Speaker 1: I want to know what happened.
- 15:30Speaker 2: To try. We tried to pick up twice. Try to
- 15:31Speaker 2: pick up twice, CA and pigre up what happened? And
- 15:33Speaker 2: I don't.
- 15:33Speaker 1: And it's funny because I'm doing what I despise what happened.
- 15:37Speaker 1: We tried to pick up twice?
- 15:38Speaker 11: You doing that, J I appreciate you doing that because
- 15:41Speaker 11: just so.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Your husband I was nice to you.
- 15:46Speaker 11: He is he's very nice to me. I don't think
- 15:48Speaker 11: that's wrong.
- 15:50Speaker 2: He said, thank you for calling it, and don't you
- 15:55Speaker 2: for me? Good God, you called that.
- 15:59Speaker 7: Thank you?
- 16:04Speaker 2: Right.
- 16:04Speaker 1: So you got fourth of July weekend coming up, and
- 16:06Speaker 1: there's a lot going on, right, People are traveling, people
- 16:10Speaker 1: are barbecuing, right, And I have two things that fall
- 16:14Speaker 1: into that category.
- 16:15Speaker 2: For one, seven things you should never grill.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Okay, seven things you should And I think this is
- 16:22Speaker 1: going to cause controversy.
- 16:24Speaker 4: Really, do you know what?
- 16:25Speaker 2: Number one on that list is? Hamburgers?
- 16:29Speaker 5: How else are you supposed to make up?
- 16:31Speaker 2: It says.
- 16:32Speaker 1: The argument is that fat trips down the outside, doesn't
- 16:34Speaker 1: get caramelized, you lose all the flavor you're supposed to use,
- 16:38Speaker 1: like a flat piece of cast iron you put on
- 16:40Speaker 1: top of the grill. So fourth of July it's all
- 16:42Speaker 1: about freedom, though, So you do what you want. So
- 16:45Speaker 1: filet migna not supposed to grill an It doesn't have
- 16:49Speaker 1: enough fat on the grill, and they're usually pretty thick,
- 16:51Speaker 1: so it's hard to cook them the way you want
- 16:52Speaker 1: when you're using a flame.
- 16:53Speaker 3: Cast iron skillet. Butter it's the way to go with.
- 16:55Speaker 2: That, right.
- 16:56Speaker 1: The same thing pizza most girls don't cook very evenly.
- 16:59Speaker 1: It's hard to get the toppings to cook right, so
- 17:02Speaker 1: you got to use a living and foil or a
- 17:04Speaker 1: pizza stove anyway.
- 17:07Speaker 5: I feel like people are only doing that with their
- 17:08Speaker 5: like black stones nowadays, but those aren't open flames, so
- 17:11Speaker 5: it makes it different things.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Never to barbecue.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Fish, including salmon, tends to do better when you cook
- 17:15Speaker 1: it on low heat. Pork chops all that you lose
- 17:18Speaker 1: out the delicious fat shish kebobs, which by the way,
- 17:21Speaker 1: is really weird looking at the words shish kebobs, shish
- 17:25Speaker 1: spell shish.
- 17:26Speaker 9: I was insheah, it looks weird.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Kebab shish kebobs. They're actually okay on the grill, but
- 17:33Speaker 1: not the way most people do. And vegetables tend to
- 17:35Speaker 1: cook faster than meat, so don't put everything on the
- 17:37Speaker 1: same skewer. Put meat on one and veggies on the other,
- 17:40Speaker 1: and then melty cheeses.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Don't put cheeses on there.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Noll I was saving this for last. But this is
- 17:48Speaker 1: all according to chat chipe Tea.
- 17:51Speaker 4: It's like, what is chatting about grilling?
- 17:53Speaker 1: Do you want to hear something weird about chatchpe tea?
- 17:55Speaker 1: I was asking it some advice about parenting this is.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Really really weird heard.
- 18:00Speaker 1: So I'm going back forth to Chatchy to me about
- 18:02Speaker 1: some some advice.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Like I was trying to be one of my kids.
- 18:05Speaker 1: I was there was an issue with one of my kids,
- 18:08Speaker 1: so I wanted to I know, if this makes sense,
- 18:10Speaker 1: I'm about to say.
- 18:10Speaker 2: I wanted to be the dad that he needed for
- 18:13Speaker 2: the situation he was in. And I was struggling.
- 18:15Speaker 1: So I was asking Chetchip t something and Chatti said
- 18:17Speaker 1: to me, from one dad to another, from one dad to.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Another, I gotta tell you this.
- 18:23Speaker 1: And I was like, he's got a little baby chat.
- 18:28Speaker 1: I thought that was so such a weird football sty.
- 18:33Speaker 4: Congratulations becoming a father.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Yeah, isn't that weird version of chat? He was like listening.
- 18:39Speaker 2: He was like, from one dad to another, like, trust me,
- 18:41Speaker 2: this is the right move. This what I think.
- 18:43Speaker 12: I was like, No, you got kids, dude, man, I go,
- 18:46Speaker 12: why wouldn't you have kids?
- 18:47Speaker 1: You already got? Maybe you're hooking up with Kyle Schatch. Anyway,
- 18:53Speaker 1: I was talking to you. There's also a travel stuff.
- 18:55Speaker 1: People are barbecuing and traveling, and I guess TSA is
- 19:00Speaker 1: put out a thing of things not to put in
- 19:03Speaker 1: a little thing that goes through.
- 19:04Speaker 3: The airport, the conveyor belt, the security check.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Things never to put in there, like wallas and cash.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Take all your cash and put it in your wallet
- 19:12Speaker 1: and then put your wallet inside of a bag. I
- 19:14Speaker 1: first time ever saw anyone do that was Rich. He
- 19:16Speaker 1: takes all this stuff and puts it in his bag,
- 19:18Speaker 1: and it was like, what are you doing? Just throw
- 19:19Speaker 1: it in the little round thing. No, because I don't
- 19:21Speaker 1: want to get stopped by anybody. I throw it my backpack,
- 19:24Speaker 1: zip it all up. If you lose cash, they won't
- 19:27Speaker 1: return it, but not why would they don't put your
- 19:30Speaker 1: passport or ID in there? Same with your wallet, put
- 19:31Speaker 1: it in the bag. Your phone to s aln so
- 19:34Speaker 1: the number one place for stolen smartphones.
- 19:37Speaker 9: That kind of makes sense because you know, sometimes you
- 19:39Speaker 9: need more than one bin. And let's say your phone
- 19:42Speaker 9: is just sitting out and in the other bind but
- 19:45Speaker 9: they take your first bin, Like maybe you left the
- 19:46Speaker 9: water bottle on your backpack.
- 19:47Speaker 4: You kind of have to go over there. Easy to swipe.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Watches and jewelry. Don't put those in the thing. Loose
- 19:53Speaker 1: lynthium batteries or power banks because they're a fire risk. Headphones,
- 19:57Speaker 1: classes neck pillows now because you might lose them because
- 20:00Speaker 1: the bins.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Are loaded with germs.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Oh and those germs are about to touch your face. Yeah,
- 20:05Speaker 1: So be careful this fourth of July where you're grilling
- 20:09Speaker 1: and when you're traveling, and know that your chat GPT
- 20:12Speaker 1: has kids.
- 20:14Speaker 12: All right, it's John Daye ridd.
- 20:26Speaker 1: You can text the show. You text jj R and
- 20:29Speaker 1: whatever your message is to nine six eight nine three.
- 20:33Speaker 1: I was in our iHeart Radio kitchen, the red Red
- 20:36Speaker 1: Red kitchen, making some coffee paint. Came walking in like
- 20:39Speaker 1: she spray painted her jeans on and she was like,
- 20:42Speaker 1: there's a skinny jeans. James is supposed to be banging.
- 20:47Speaker 1: That's exactly what happened.
- 20:48Speaker 4: That's not okay, that's not exactly that.
- 20:50Speaker 5: John j was like, are those skinny jeans? And I
- 20:53Speaker 5: said yes, and I hate them and I and skinny
- 20:56Speaker 5: jeans are out. They're officially out. Kyle has been telling
- 20:59Speaker 5: us for the last couple of weeks that skinny jeans
- 21:01Speaker 5: are making their way out of style, and the last
- 21:04Speaker 5: couple of times I wear them, I'm like, you're so right,
- 21:06Speaker 5: they are out of style and I look like a
- 21:08Speaker 5: square right now.
- 21:09Speaker 4: I feel like I really loved the skinny jeans.
- 21:12Speaker 9: I really fought them when they first came like back
- 21:15Speaker 9: in or whatever. But then I was kind of sad
- 21:17Speaker 9: to see them go and like to have to revamp
- 21:20Speaker 9: your wardrobe in that way, like redo all your pants.
- 21:24Speaker 4: It's a slow build.
- 21:25Speaker 12: Yeah, really you have to.
- 21:27Speaker 4: You're just gonna have to wear the skinny jeans every
- 21:28Speaker 4: once in a while so you have all new pants.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Can you define skinny jeans because I'm gonna I saw
- 21:33Speaker 1: the jeans painting had on it.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Do you have skinny jeans on? Cole? Okay, so what
- 21:36Speaker 2: we define skinny jeans?
- 21:37Speaker 5: Skinny jeans are jeans that basically fit from like your
- 21:41Speaker 5: waist all the way down to your ankles. They form fitting.
- 21:43Speaker 2: They're tight like yoga pants.
- 21:46Speaker 5: Yeah, but they're jeans.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Okay, what do you have on?
- 21:48Speaker 4: I have flared jeans on right now.
- 21:50Speaker 2: And those are super cool.
- 21:52Speaker 4: They're like kind of on their own little island affection.
- 21:58Speaker 3: This makes sense.
- 21:58Speaker 9: They flare out at the ball, I think the most
- 22:01Speaker 9: I think if I had to guess what the most
- 22:03Speaker 9: quote unquote popular gene type right now, it's like the
- 22:05Speaker 9: boyfriend jeans. So it's like kind of baggy and actually
- 22:07Speaker 9: low rise jeans are coming back into which is like,
- 22:10Speaker 9: I'm kind of fighting that.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Do you know.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Like at my house right now, my wife Stacy, who's
- 22:14Speaker 3: like the you know, the fashion person at the house,
- 22:16Speaker 3: she has four stacks of jeans on a bench at
- 22:19Speaker 3: the end of the bed because all of the skinny
- 22:21Speaker 3: jeans are going in the donate pile, and there are
- 22:24Speaker 3: lots of them.
- 22:24Speaker 5: They're out, skinny, they're out.
- 22:26Speaker 3: So there's some that like now there's new ones that
- 22:28Speaker 3: are the right style that we haven't tried, but we
- 22:30Speaker 3: don't know if we're going to return yet, and so
- 22:32Speaker 3: those are.
- 22:33Speaker 4: On the right side, like the straight leg ones. That's
- 22:35Speaker 4: where it's sad.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Yeah, it doesn't do that for guys to do Guys
- 22:38Speaker 1: go through jean phase because I feel like there's a
- 22:40Speaker 1: certain kind of geene I like, and those are the
- 22:42Speaker 1: only ones I wear like.
- 22:43Speaker 2: I don't remember.
- 22:43Speaker 3: I don't think it is really is.
- 22:46Speaker 1: It's as drastic, I don't know, but I do know
- 22:48Speaker 1: that every pair of jeans I have eventually is a
- 22:50Speaker 1: low rise jean.
- 22:52Speaker 3: You can you can wear like cargo pants again, I
- 22:54Speaker 3: think if you're.
- 22:54Speaker 5: A guy, Yeah, cargo pants are really in, really in
- 22:57Speaker 5: right now.
- 22:57Speaker 9: But yeah, I just type.
- 22:58Speaker 5: Honestly, I just feel like my body dysmorphia just comes
- 23:01Speaker 5: out with the with the skinny jeans right now, because
- 23:04Speaker 5: I think I've told you guys this before. But in
- 23:05Speaker 5: high school, one of my nicknames was drumsticks because my
- 23:08Speaker 5: thighs were so big and my legs bottom part of
- 23:11Speaker 5: my legs were so skinny. I know, but when you
- 23:13Speaker 5: can really tell in the skinny jeans and I got
- 23:15Speaker 5: drunks pants, I do, but yoga pants are different.
- 23:19Speaker 9: See, I actually liked I liked the fact that skinny
- 23:22Speaker 9: jeans were more for form fitting because I wore a
- 23:25Speaker 9: little bit baggier jean in our Christmas pictures this year,
- 23:28Speaker 9: And there are two pictures that I feel like I
- 23:30Speaker 9: will never show anybody because my legs look way bigger
- 23:34Speaker 9: than Scott's because.
- 23:36Speaker 8: Of the gens.
- 23:37Speaker 4: Like I know, I know my legs are smaller than his.
- 23:39Speaker 4: I know that, but just like mentally looking at the picture,
- 23:42Speaker 4: I'm like, oh, hell, this is not okay. This does
- 23:45Speaker 4: not make me feel okay.
- 23:47Speaker 5: The struggle of being a woman and trying to look
- 23:49Speaker 5: presentable in public.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Right, So we've been kind of like catching up on
- 23:54Speaker 1: our shopping birthdays or whatever, but I know Peyton did.
- 23:57Speaker 2: The big purchase she made was up.
- 23:58Speaker 5: I made the biggest purchase that I have ever made
- 24:01Speaker 5: on my credit card, to the point where, like I
- 24:03Speaker 5: have a stomach ache about it. What because I wanted
- 24:07Speaker 5: to go all out. It's kind of an experience. I
- 24:09Speaker 5: don't want to say it because I don't want to
- 24:11Speaker 5: ruin it. My mom and my sister listen to the show.
- 24:13Speaker 5: But I'm really excited. It's about the experience. But like
- 24:17Speaker 5: my stomach hurts that I have this massive payment on
- 24:20Speaker 5: my credit card because growing up, my grandma was like
- 24:23Speaker 5: she was the type she worked three jobs, like total workhorse,
- 24:26Speaker 5: like single mom, and she always told me, you pay
- 24:29Speaker 5: your credit card bill off no matter what she said.
- 24:31Speaker 5: If you're she was like, I'd rather you pay your
- 24:32Speaker 5: credit card off first before you pay your rent. Like
- 24:35Speaker 5: that's how important it is to her. Every month you
- 24:38Speaker 5: have to make sure your credit card payment is paid off.
- 24:40Speaker 5: Credit is so important, and so she kind of instilled
- 24:43Speaker 5: that in me. And so now I'm like, I have
- 24:45Speaker 5: an eighteen hundred dollars charge.
- 24:46Speaker 2: On my credit.
- 24:49Speaker 3: House I work card.
- 24:53Speaker 9: You are so generous, like the fact that you just
- 24:55Speaker 9: want to like create this great experience.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Yeah, for your mom and your sister. That's so you,
- 25:00Speaker 4: it's so sweet.
- 25:01Speaker 3: Do you think we could get grandma to help you
- 25:02Speaker 3: pay that off?
- 25:03Speaker 4: Because that's where it's gonna go with it.
- 25:06Speaker 5: I feel like I'm going to call my grandma and
- 25:08Speaker 5: I'm gonna say, can I please take a.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Little shout on you knock this bill out of the
- 25:12Speaker 3: way here?
- 25:12Speaker 5: This interesting and she would totally help me.
- 25:14Speaker 3: It's experience for me. You're doing it selflessly.
- 25:17Speaker 2: My doctor said to me the other day.
- 25:18Speaker 1: I was leaving there and they go, hey, just want
- 25:20Speaker 1: to let you know that you're going to get a
- 25:22Speaker 1: five thousand dollars charge on your credit but ignored it's
- 25:25Speaker 1: a mistake. And I was like, oh, how do I
- 25:29Speaker 1: explain that? Like what are you talking about? To just ignore?
- 25:31Speaker 1: Just ignore it? And it never it never came, It
- 25:34Speaker 1: never game, And.
- 25:34Speaker 3: I was like reason.
- 25:36Speaker 2: I was like, I would really have to worry about
- 25:38Speaker 2: because don't think it's gonna go through.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Yeah, because I used to before I was married, and
- 25:46Speaker 1: I I was always trying to get good credit. So
- 25:48Speaker 1: I would try to get as many credit cards as
- 25:49Speaker 1: I can, which was stupid, and then I would just
- 25:52Speaker 1: buy stuff and it just seemed free. Then you get
- 25:55Speaker 1: that little red envelope, a little or that pink thing
- 25:57Speaker 1: in the mail and all all kinds of.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Stuff man paidon.
- 25:59Speaker 3: If we talked to the show about the time that
- 26:01Speaker 3: I went to go buy a Prince C and they
- 26:03Speaker 3: literally took and destroyed my credit card, I guess you
- 26:08Speaker 3: know they have the little thing that you have to
- 26:09Speaker 3: declined and mindset, take card and destroy just they cut
- 26:14Speaker 3: it up in front of me. That's terrible, terrible.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Should do that? Think it's stolen?
- 26:20Speaker 3: What did the name?
- 26:20Speaker 5: What was the name on your card?
- 26:22Speaker 3: It was my name, it was my card. I was
- 26:23Speaker 3: trying to buy Richard.
- 26:24Speaker 5: You guys have a sneaky side test that you're not
- 26:26Speaker 5: telling you truly, I guess credit card scammer.
- 26:29Speaker 3: I thought that I had paid my bills. Apparently I
- 26:31Speaker 3: did not pay that.
- 26:33Speaker 2: He's like a jackle.
- 26:34Speaker 1: He has different ideas, different passports.
- 26:37Speaker 9: Just the feeling of like getting your card declined though
- 26:40Speaker 9: it's like so embarrassing and get all hot, like.
- 26:42Speaker 3: I'm like being in line.
- 26:44Speaker 4: Yeah, and having them tear it up in front of you.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Nowadays, though, because I've had my car my card decline nowadays,
- 26:50Speaker 1: and it's it's a great it's a great response, just like, oh,
- 26:52Speaker 1: it must be the chip chip's not working.
- 26:55Speaker 2: You don't have to be a loser.
- 26:58Speaker 4: I happened to me just other day. It is my
- 27:00Speaker 4: card was declined.
- 27:01Speaker 9: And then I was using my debit card and I
- 27:03Speaker 9: was like, I know I have enough to pay for
- 27:05Speaker 9: this fifteen.
- 27:06Speaker 4: Dollars Walgreen strip.
- 27:08Speaker 9: And then I looked down at my card's expired. So
- 27:12Speaker 9: it got declined because my card was expired. But I'm like,
- 27:14Speaker 9: how come they never sent me a new one? You
- 27:16Speaker 9: did send you a new one, right, like you it's
- 27:18Speaker 9: in advance.
- 27:18Speaker 5: Get an email.
- 27:19Speaker 1: I would think it's John Jay Rich just Jessica, good morning, Hi, good.
- 27:34Speaker 10: Morning, good morning. I had a general question, so I
- 27:38Speaker 10: listened to one of the episodes on the highly successful
- 27:43Speaker 10: John Jay Vana's podcast. You had you had a girl
- 27:52Speaker 10: on there that was talking about ADHD, and you guys
- 27:55Speaker 10: had like a whole thing about it, And I was
- 27:58Speaker 10: just wondering because I know you guys discussed it a lot.
- 28:02Speaker 10: But I've noticed because I have ADHD really bad, so
- 28:07Speaker 10: I've noticed that you're really good at like balancing out.
- 28:11Speaker 10: Like when I listen to your show, you're really good
- 28:15Speaker 10: on like one not interrupting, or like staying on track,
- 28:19Speaker 10: or if somebody tells the story there you're just you know,
- 28:23Speaker 10: how to like circle back really well? Like is there
- 28:26Speaker 10: anything in particular that you do that like helps you
- 28:31Speaker 10: do that? Because I cannot do that.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Well.
- 28:34Speaker 1: I think you said it best when you said, John
- 28:37Speaker 1: J you're really good, And I think that's that's enough.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Enough.
- 28:43Speaker 1: No, you know, in all honesty, I mean, I mean,
- 28:46Speaker 1: I was kind of diagnosed by a psychiatrists I have ADHD,
- 28:49Speaker 1: but use a little weird, so I don't know if
- 28:51Speaker 1: I have ADHD.
- 28:52Speaker 2: You do, I don't know if I do.
- 28:53Speaker 3: For sure you do, Yeah.
- 28:54Speaker 10: I can tell you that you do. I know you,
- 28:57Speaker 10: I know you.
- 28:58Speaker 1: I know yeah, answer that question you're talking about on
- 29:02Speaker 1: the radio that I can bring you back and follow.
- 29:04Speaker 1: And by the way, when I do interrupt a lot,
- 29:06Speaker 1: and sometimes I try to apologize when I interrupt, But
- 29:08Speaker 1: a lot of times when I'm interrupting a person on
- 29:09Speaker 1: the phone, it's because their story is taken too long.
- 29:11Speaker 1: And if I interrupt one of these three here, it's
- 29:13Speaker 1: because we got to take a break. Most of the
- 29:15Speaker 1: time I tried. That's kind of like my rule.
- 29:17Speaker 10: I know, but you're so good like, for example, like
- 29:20Speaker 10: let's say it's like second date up day and the
- 29:23Speaker 10: girl is or guy or girl is telling the story.
- 29:26Speaker 10: You're really good at like remembering like key facts about
- 29:31Speaker 10: the story, but like not getting off tracks. And I
- 29:35Speaker 10: cannot do that, and I notice that you're really good
- 29:37Speaker 10: at doing that.
- 29:39Speaker 2: Well. I did take a test.
- 29:40Speaker 1: You guys remember this test where they said I was
- 29:42Speaker 1: borderline genius?
- 29:43Speaker 2: Do you remember that?
- 29:45Speaker 4: We do remember that last.
- 29:46Speaker 9: I think it's because he's genuinely interested in what he's
- 29:50Speaker 9: like talking about. I think like when you're genuinely interested,
- 29:54Speaker 9: it's easier to focus. And when you're like trying to
- 29:56Speaker 9: focus on maybe like a class you're not interested in,
- 29:59Speaker 9: or a conversation that kind of going somewhere where you
- 30:01Speaker 9: may not have interest or expertise.
- 30:03Speaker 3: John J has attention for things are going on on
- 30:05Speaker 3: this show outside of the show, right, rampant ADHD Right.
- 30:10Speaker 1: I actually do sometimes sometimes I catch myself on the
- 30:12Speaker 1: phone or on the computer when we're on the air,
- 30:14Speaker 1: and I try to put that down and try not
- 30:15Speaker 1: to do that, so I know, sometimes I'm not listening
- 30:17Speaker 1: to the story, and then these three catch me up
- 30:20Speaker 1: and I'm like, what, all right? But you're so nice, Jessica.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Thanks for listening. That's so nice. How do you know
- 30:24Speaker 1: you have ADHD? Who told you that?
- 30:27Speaker 10: Well, for one, I was diagnosed. But it's also like
- 30:30Speaker 10: very obvious. Everybody around me like knows I do. I
