- 0:01Speaker 1: Because fuck you, that's why. Is a founding member of
- 0:03Speaker 1: the Odd Pods Media Network.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Hello, my name is Aaron Randolph, and today I'm going
- 0:11Speaker 2: to make something less than podcast history. I'm going to
- 0:15Speaker 2: put up five thousand pennies of my own money.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Then I'm better at game shows than you.
- 0:22Speaker 2: So if you're intelligent enough and quick enough, and if
- 0:25Speaker 2: you've got nerves of steel, no not even steel, nerves
- 0:28Speaker 2: of rubber, no nerves of cotton, even you can win
- 0:33Speaker 2: Aaron Randolph's money.
- 0:36Speaker 4: And Harry is the best games master I know who
- 0:39Speaker 4: isn't me, It's Aaron Randolph.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Thank you. Matt Watson, Hello, and welcome to win Aaron
- 0:46Speaker 3: Randolph's Money, the show where I say put up or
- 0:50Speaker 3: shut up and make people face me to possibly win
- 0:54Speaker 3: money for their favorite charity, all in the name of
- 0:57Speaker 3: kind of exploring these wonderful game shows and also having
- 1:02Speaker 3: a blast. Because usually I'm the one running the games,
- 1:04Speaker 3: I almost never get to play, and now I'm gonna
- 1:07Speaker 3: get to play. But of course it's my own money
- 1:09Speaker 3: on the line, not the shows. I pay this fully
- 1:12Speaker 3: out of my own pocket, so I'm gonna fight to
- 1:15Speaker 3: keep some of my money, if you don't mind but
- 1:18Speaker 3: this game is gonna be fun. It's gonna be it's
- 1:21Speaker 3: gonna be It's gonna be tricky, that's for sure, because
- 1:24Speaker 3: it all comes down to lucky decision making. Yeah, we
- 1:27Speaker 3: are going to play Deal or No Deal? Yeah, geez.
- 1:33Speaker 3: And our host this lovely evening is Matt Watson from
- 1:36Speaker 3: the gate Leabers.
- 1:36Speaker 5: Hi, Matt, Hello, Hello, thanks for having me back on
- 1:40Speaker 5: the show.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Guys, absolutely, thank you for volunteering to do this show.
- 1:45Speaker 3: We'll get into why you volunteered to do this one
- 1:47Speaker 3: in particular as we get into it. But first, of course,
- 1:51Speaker 3: I always like to start this off by talking about
- 1:53Speaker 3: the game show itself, deal or No Deal and running
- 1:56Speaker 3: through a little history. So this game show has had
- 1:59Speaker 3: many forms. But and I didn't know this until doing
- 2:02Speaker 3: the research for this bit, the original version of Dealer
- 2:05Speaker 3: No Deal came from a Dutch game show called mil
- 2:09Speaker 3: Yunin Yucht that started in two thousand and is still
- 2:14Speaker 3: going today.
- 2:16Speaker 6: Wo woa.
- 2:17Speaker 3: Dealer No Deal was actually the final round of that game.
- 2:21Speaker 3: The rest of that game is a crazy elimination game
- 2:25Speaker 3: involving a thousand people. But that's not why we're here.
- 2:31Speaker 2: We don't have a thousand people we don't have a
- 2:33Speaker 2: thousand people if we can barely get ten on a
- 2:36Speaker 2: good day.
- 2:38Speaker 3: The version of Dealer No Deal that I love was
- 2:41Speaker 3: the UK version of Dealer No Deal. This version ran
- 2:44Speaker 3: from two thousand and five to twenty sixteen and was
- 2:47Speaker 3: hosted by Neil Edmonds and lover or hate him and
- 2:51Speaker 3: most people hate him. He suited this game like a glove.
- 2:56Speaker 5: I want to say it was no Edmonds, not Neil Edmonds.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Oh I did say no or I thought I said nol?
- 3:03Speaker 3: Neil did I say Neil? I meant to say nol. Well,
- 3:05Speaker 3: I'm off to a great start.
- 3:07Speaker 5: Noel British pedantickness leaping in the.
- 3:12Speaker 3: No I apologize. Noel Edmonds is his name. Twenty two
- 3:16Speaker 3: contestants in what looks like a converted pub, each holding
- 3:20Speaker 3: twenty two boxes, each randomly holding an amount of money
- 3:24Speaker 3: from one pe up to two hundred and fifty thousand pounds.
- 3:28Speaker 3: One contestant randomly gets picked to play the game and
- 3:31Speaker 3: brings their box to the table, and the others helpfully
- 3:33Speaker 3: open their boxes when chosen. The player doesn't know what's
- 3:36Speaker 3: in their box. Nobody does, and the only way to
- 3:40Speaker 3: learn is to open the others in a process of elimination.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Players get offers to sell their box to the miserly
- 3:47Speaker 3: shitty banker after the first five boxes, and then every
- 3:51Speaker 3: three boxes after that, and finally, when there's just two
- 3:54Speaker 3: boxes left, if the player has rejected all offers and
- 3:58Speaker 3: the highest amount is still in place, they're giving me
- 4:01Speaker 3: one final offer to swap their box with the with
- 4:05Speaker 3: the only one left in play. They then open the
- 4:08Speaker 3: box they have stuck with or swapped with, and everyone
- 4:11Speaker 3: either cheers or is sad. That emotion is heightened by
- 4:16Speaker 3: the fact that players not chosen to play come back
- 4:19Speaker 3: for the following episodes until they are chosen, leading to
- 4:22Speaker 3: the contestants getting to know each other over the weeks
- 4:25Speaker 3: and months. And it's rare for an episode of UK
- 4:29Speaker 3: Dealer No Deal to not showcase people breaking into tears
- 4:32Speaker 3: at some point. In fact, there's one episode that always
- 4:36Speaker 3: reduces me to tears. Contrast that with the American version,
- 4:40Speaker 3: which was all flashy lights, big video screens, Howie Mandel
- 4:44Speaker 3: smarming up the place and diss bumping everybody and did
- 4:47Speaker 3: somebody say sexy models? While there's twenty six boxes each
- 4:53Speaker 3: held by a beautiful woman and the top prize is
- 4:56Speaker 3: a million dollars and their celebrity cameos and their crowds
- 5:00Speaker 3: and gimmicks and stunts, and it's utterly soulless and devoid
- 5:04Speaker 3: of any resembling substance.
- 5:06Speaker 1: America.
- 5:07Speaker 7: Yeah, it was still successful relatively five seasons on NBC
- 5:15Speaker 7: and three in syndication, followed by a short return to
- 5:18Speaker 7: CNBC in twenty eighteen and twenty nineteen and.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Just over six hundred episodes, which the British version thinks
- 5:25Speaker 3: is cute because they had over three thousand.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Wow.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Look, there are plenty of versions of this game to
- 5:32Speaker 3: check out. Given that the show has been adapted in
- 5:35Speaker 3: eighty four countries and territories, it's clearly popular for a reason.
- 5:40Speaker 3: The risk versus reward structure of the show has even
- 5:43Speaker 3: been studied by mathematicians and statisticians as a natural decision
- 5:47Speaker 3: making experiment, but the hosts of the show frequently say
- 5:51Speaker 3: it only features one question and since it has nothing
- 5:55Speaker 3: to do with trivia, and I've always considered that one
- 5:57Speaker 3: of my strengths. How am I gonna do in a
- 5:59Speaker 3: game of about luck and decision making? Well, I'm forty
- 6:03Speaker 3: five and I make less than fifty K a year.
- 6:05Speaker 7: If that gives you a heard.
- 6:10Speaker 3: And today my opponent will be Augie. Oh yes, Augie's
- 6:15Speaker 3: gonna face me in a game that has nothing to
- 6:17Speaker 3: do with it, no skill, It's just going to be
- 6:24Speaker 3: it's gonna be luck, it's gonna be guts, it's gonna
- 6:26Speaker 3: be nerves. How courageous can you be? How far are
- 6:31Speaker 3: you willing to go to try and beat me? Or
- 6:34Speaker 3: how far am I willing to go to try and
- 6:36Speaker 3: beat you? Is going to be the question.
- 6:38Speaker 8: So how vindictive of today?
- 6:44Speaker 3: So I just want to talk about everybody's feelings about
- 6:48Speaker 3: the show, like what's your memories of it? And most importantly, Matt,
- 6:51Speaker 3: you volunteered to host this particular show. Was there any
- 6:55Speaker 3: reason you wanted to do this one in particular?
- 6:58Speaker 4: Yeah, as you ran down the format of the UK one,
- 7:01Speaker 4: it brought back a lot of positive memories for me.
- 7:05Speaker 4: This is a very nostalgic game show, I think you
- 7:08Speaker 4: said two thousand and five to twenty sixteen.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Yeah, over eleven years.
- 7:13Speaker 4: I probably watched it from two thousand and five to
- 7:15Speaker 4: twenty ten, almost every day that it was on. It
- 7:20Speaker 4: was on at like I want to say, like four
- 7:22Speaker 4: fifteen to five fifteen In the afternoon. It was just
- 7:25Speaker 4: as I got the bus home from school. It was like,
- 7:28Speaker 4: put my feet up, get a tall glass of some
- 7:32Speaker 4: sugary drink, and watch deal or no deal. And it
- 7:37Speaker 4: was just such a It was such a simple time
- 7:40Speaker 4: because I didn't have any responsibilities.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Oh those days. No responsibilities. Actually no responsibilities is one
- 7:50Speaker 3: of the reasons you signed up for this one. I
- 7:54Speaker 3: straight at the outset. This is one of the easiest
- 7:56Speaker 3: games to run. It's really no tribute to prepare, no
- 8:00Speaker 3: games to set up. You literally just randomized the boxes
- 8:04Speaker 3: and when.
- 8:05Speaker 4: Asked, yep, I'd be lying if I didn't say that
- 8:08Speaker 4: was a contribute, in fact, to to why I wanted
- 8:10Speaker 4: to do this one. Nothing in fans, although, don't underestimate
- 8:14Speaker 4: my ability to mess up a computer program, so that
- 8:17Speaker 4: that could be the fun work that happens.
- 8:20Speaker 3: That will be interesting. Uh, let's see how we handled that.
- 8:24Speaker 3: But yeah, no, I completely understand. Matt has a full
- 8:27Speaker 3: other job running the gate Leapers podcast where he is
- 8:30Speaker 3: the games master for that in several of its forms,
- 8:33Speaker 3: including Pandemonium, whether live or in studio. So yeah, so
- 8:38Speaker 3: I understand completely you wanted to take an easier game,
- 8:40Speaker 3: but it's it's nice that this also had a nostalgic
- 8:43Speaker 3: reason to go back to it. Yeah, what about you guys,
- 8:46Speaker 3: Do you guys remember the show at all?
- 8:48Speaker 9: Oh god, yes, I I one hundred percent do I
- 8:51Speaker 9: think it was. And also in like the early evening
- 8:54Speaker 9: when it was here, because I think it was after
- 8:56Speaker 9: dinner for us here is when it came on.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Yeah it was.
- 8:59Speaker 3: It was a prime time game show, yeah, eight nine
- 9:02Speaker 3: pm on the NBC.
- 9:04Speaker 1: And I'll admit I enjoyed it, like I was not really.
- 9:07Speaker 9: I mean, I'm into some game shows, not a lot
- 9:09Speaker 9: of them, but I'm into a good portion of them.
- 9:11Speaker 9: I love Jeopardy, I love Wheel Fortune and stuff like that.
- 9:14Speaker 9: I love the old shows. So when this came out,
- 9:17Speaker 9: I didn't know about deal or no deal at all, right,
- 9:20Speaker 9: but got into it real quick, like the.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Family all did. It was really neat and the models
- 9:25Speaker 1: helped a lot.
- 9:25Speaker 9: I mean it was not the only The only thing
- 9:29Speaker 9: I would do to change it is I would like, yo,
- 9:32Speaker 9: like swap out like four or five of those or
- 9:34Speaker 9: some like hot ass dudes.
- 9:35Speaker 1: That's all. Like, I'm just getting variety, is all I'm saying.
- 9:38Speaker 5: I got some dudes in here, yea like.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Grease to everybody. Come on, let's do this.
- 9:46Speaker 5: Get some dudes on the UK version, but it was
- 9:49Speaker 5: sort of, uh, Jeff Jeff from down the pub with
- 9:53Speaker 5: a b belly kind of thing, not so much greased up.
- 9:57Speaker 3: How about Bunny from the first season. His name was
- 10:00Speaker 3: really spelled b u n n e y uh. He
- 10:03Speaker 3: was very very funny character. In fact, they brought him
- 10:06Speaker 3: back for various other episodes of the the UK version
- 10:10Speaker 3: just because they loved him so much.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Yeah, that's cool.
- 10:13Speaker 3: He was on for a very long time too. He
- 10:15Speaker 3: didn't get picked forever. He was on for something like
- 10:17Speaker 3: fifty episodes.
- 10:18Speaker 9: I like that or that Uh, I can't even think
- 10:21Speaker 9: of what it's called now.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I like that thing that.
- 10:26Speaker 9: Like they get to recycle their players, like everybody gets
- 10:28Speaker 9: a chance, whereas ours is like nope, yeah one of
- 10:31Speaker 9: you out of the thirty of you get to play.
- 10:33Speaker 9: The other twenty nine you can go fuck off. You're like,
- 10:35Speaker 9: that's what Yeahka's game seems like to me. Yeah, yeah,
- 10:39Speaker 9: I mean I get it or assholes, but still like
- 10:42Speaker 9: that's it's a cool thing. Why can we steal that
- 10:45Speaker 9: from them too?
- 10:46Speaker 4: It's a little metaphor for different healthcare systems maybe where
- 10:49Speaker 4: it's like one out of every thirty people in America
- 10:51Speaker 4: gets healthcare and everyone in the UK gets healthcare, but
- 10:54Speaker 4: you got to wait a long time for it.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Yes, exactly.
- 10:59Speaker 3: And if I'm an I'm not mistaken. I could be
- 11:01Speaker 3: misremembering or I could be misspeaking this bit, So don't
- 11:03Speaker 3: take this as truth necessarily, but I seem to recall
- 11:07Speaker 3: the UK version. What they did was when they realized
- 11:09Speaker 3: they were wrapping up, instead of instead of sending people
- 11:14Speaker 3: home after they played their games, they kept them on
- 11:16Speaker 3: to open boxes for the remaining players. So everybody on
- 11:20Speaker 3: the show got a chance to play the game, you know.
- 11:22Speaker 3: So they didn't they didn't invite more people up to
- 11:26Speaker 3: you know, join the stage and so far, so everybody
- 11:29Speaker 3: who was called up to be a contestant actually got
- 11:31Speaker 3: to play.
- 11:32Speaker 5: That's so cool. That sounds right.
- 11:34Speaker 3: And if I'm right, if I remembering correctly, the very
- 11:37Speaker 3: final episode was the last time someone won the top prize,
- 11:41Speaker 3: literally got the two hundred and fifty pounds wow, on
- 11:45Speaker 3: their series finale. That's awesome, yes, so cool, cool. Yeah,
- 11:51Speaker 3: so I have a lot of memories about this, but
- 11:53Speaker 3: we haven't talked to Ugie yet yeah.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:55Speaker 8: Yeah, So like I remember watching the show a lot
- 11:57Speaker 8: with my mother because she was always big the game
- 12:00Speaker 8: shows and stuff like that. So hours of one hours
- 12:03Speaker 8: of watching it. But to be honest, I've actually already
- 12:06Speaker 8: played this game, Aaron.
- 12:08Speaker 5: Uh.
- 12:09Speaker 10: It was on the Nintendo we.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Among other.
- 12:15Speaker 11: So that was yeah.
- 12:17Speaker 8: I mean it was basically just like watching it. Yeah,
- 12:21Speaker 8: but you actually got to choose the cases.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Yeah. I was obsessed with this show for a while.
- 12:27Speaker 3: I remember when it first came out, uh, the the
- 12:30Speaker 3: American version, and I thought it was kind of cool.
- 12:32Speaker 3: And I also distinctly have a memory of going over
- 12:35Speaker 3: to a friend's house and their their grandma was there, Like,
- 12:39Speaker 3: I don't get it. Why is everyone cheering when the
- 12:42Speaker 3: big amounts come out? Why? Why?
- 12:45Speaker 4: What?
- 12:45Speaker 3: Why don't they just pick a case and get to
- 12:47Speaker 3: keep it? Like that's the way. I'm like, Man, you
- 12:51Speaker 3: do not understand gameplay.
- 12:54Speaker 4: Because then the show would be two minutes long. I
- 12:56Speaker 4: wouldn't be watching anything and we wouldn't be spending any
- 12:58Speaker 4: qual see Tied Together, Gram, I'll put you back in
- 13:01Speaker 4: the home.
- 13:02Speaker 1: She also doesn't like.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Four And I also remember, because I was working nights
- 13:10Speaker 3: as a hotel night auditor for like ten years. During
- 13:16Speaker 3: that period, I spent a lot of time on my
- 13:18Speaker 3: laptop with nothing to do, and I eventually came across
- 13:21Speaker 3: this website that actually had every single like UK episode Wow,
- 13:27Speaker 3: no deal, and you could watch them. Well at the time,
- 13:30Speaker 3: it was probably six hundred, but it was it was
- 13:33Speaker 3: a lot of TV. So I actually I actually started
- 13:36Speaker 3: watching and actually got to see episodes as they went on,
- 13:39Speaker 3: you know, and I got to see all these contestants
- 13:42Speaker 3: and got to know them over the course of the
- 13:44Speaker 3: episodes and then got to share in their joy or
- 13:47Speaker 3: their loss when they didn't do so well. Uh. And
- 13:50Speaker 3: I found it really really emotional, and I just loved
- 13:52Speaker 3: watching those. And then the episode that always gets me,
- 13:55Speaker 3: the one that will never not reduce me to tears,
- 13:58Speaker 3: is actually the fourth Jackpop winner. Her name is Tegan Roberts.
- 14:04Speaker 3: She was a young girl who she went to university,
- 14:07Speaker 3: got very very sick all of a sudden, and had
- 14:10Speaker 3: to drop out of university because it turned out she
- 14:12Speaker 3: had Hodgkins lymphomia.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Oh geez.
- 14:15Speaker 3: Now, the treatment was successful, the cancer was in remission,
- 14:19Speaker 3: it was beaten.
- 14:21Speaker 1: But it took all her winnings.
- 14:23Speaker 12: Okay, she was fine if you were anywhere else country.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Didn't she live in America?
- 14:34Speaker 5: How he was in Judge.
- 14:39Speaker 3: But it was very and she was a very sweet girl.
- 14:42Speaker 3: She's very pretty, but her hair was a wig and
- 14:47Speaker 3: there was there was a lot of emotions for the show.
- 14:50Speaker 3: But she had always said she was going to play
- 14:52Speaker 3: it through to the end, no matter what. And when
- 14:53Speaker 3: it came down to the end that she had just
- 14:55Speaker 3: the two hundred and fifty thousand or like twenty grand
- 14:58Speaker 3: was the other one, like she'd had an amazing game,
- 15:01Speaker 3: like even at one point she needed a really good box,
- 15:04Speaker 3: and she turned to the date she was diagnosed the
- 15:09Speaker 3: first and she opened box. When she's like, no, open
- 15:11Speaker 3: it now, she's like, I'm ready open it. And it
- 15:13Speaker 3: turned out to be a great box because it was
- 15:15Speaker 3: a blue. It was a low amount and everybody cheered
- 15:18Speaker 3: and she just like you could see her go like yes,
- 15:23Speaker 3: like fuck you cancer, yeah uh so yeah. Every time
- 15:28Speaker 3: and as as the game goes on, she's she seems
- 15:31Speaker 3: to be getting like physically weaker and weaker. Every time
- 15:34Speaker 3: she says no deal, she looks like she's about to cry.
- 15:38Speaker 3: And I just I just I have so much empathy
- 15:41Speaker 3: for this girl. Like and to see her win this
- 15:44Speaker 3: huge amount after having this horrendous life tragedy just is
- 15:49Speaker 3: it's so good. It's so good. I can watch it
- 15:51Speaker 3: every Christmas. And she oh absolutely she did. Yeah, absolutely.
- 15:56Speaker 3: The place exploded, like everybody lost their mind.
- 15:58Speaker 13: Oh my god, everywhere, contfetti everywhere.
- 16:05Speaker 3: She was hugging for like four hours. I said, no deal.
- 16:12Speaker 3: That episode is thankfully still up on YouTube. Cool and
- 16:15Speaker 3: I like, I said, I watch it at least once
- 16:17Speaker 3: a year because it's such a good feeling. It's it's
- 16:21Speaker 3: such a great episode. One of the reasons why I
- 16:23Speaker 3: love that show so much. That's cool. Yeah, all right,
- 16:26Speaker 3: well we've discussed the show. I think it might be
- 16:29Speaker 3: time to play. Yes, So here's how this is gonna work.
- 16:32Speaker 3: We're gonna play two games of dealing no Deal first. Well, actually,
- 16:36Speaker 3: I'm gonna leave it to Augie to decide because he's
- 16:38Speaker 3: the challenger. Do you want to go first or do
- 16:40Speaker 3: you want me to go first? Let you go first.
- 16:43Speaker 3: You get to play in the games, all right, So
- 16:45Speaker 3: I'm gonna go first. We're gonna play a game of
- 16:47Speaker 3: dealing a no deal. Augie's gonna be outside of the studio.
- 16:49Speaker 3: He's not gonna have any idea of how well I do,
- 16:52Speaker 3: and then August is gonna come in and play a
- 16:53Speaker 3: second game. Whichever one of us finishes the game with
- 16:56Speaker 3: the most money or points. I don't know how Matt
- 16:58Speaker 3: set it up, which every one of us has the
- 17:00Speaker 3: highest score at the end of our game wins, and
- 17:04Speaker 3: if ogg he wins, he gets a fifty dollars donation
- 17:06Speaker 3: to his his charity of choice. If I win, I
- 17:09Speaker 3: keep that money. I do give a small five dollars
- 17:11Speaker 3: donation for thanks for stepping up, but I get to
- 17:14Speaker 3: keep most of it because Daddy broke.
- 17:16Speaker 9: Okay, like I'm taking fifty dollars from charity.
- 17:21Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm taking charity because I can't he broke.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Daddy brook, Daddy broke. I'm gonna be I'm gonna be
- 17:28Speaker 2: the villain. I'm gonna I'm broke.
- 17:30Speaker 3: I'm sorry. So I'm gonna do my best to keep it.
- 17:35Speaker 3: When we come back, Aggie will be out of the
- 17:37Speaker 3: studio and I will be playing my first game or dealing.

- 18:41Speaker 3: Deal time, which means I'm gonna hand it over to Matt.
- 18:43Speaker 3: Matt take it away, sir.
- 18:45Speaker 5: All right, thank you, Aaron.
- 18:47Speaker 4: We've got twenty six cases, we've got two players, and
- 18:50Speaker 4: we've got one question, deal or No Deal, and.
- 18:54Speaker 5: Then usually some music would play there or something like that.
- 18:57Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, all.
- 18:59Speaker 4: Right, fus stuff playing deal or No Deal? We have Aaron.
- 19:04Speaker 3: I'm from the USA, baby, I am excited to play
- 19:11Speaker 3: this game. I actually do have a system, which is
- 19:15Speaker 3: funny because it doesn't really matter. The cases are randomly assigned.
- 19:21Speaker 4: Speaking of randomly assigned cases, we do need to get
- 19:24Speaker 4: your randomly assigned case.
- 19:26Speaker 5: Oh dude, I did.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Not get to choose my own case. The American Yeah,
- 19:31Speaker 3: and the American version you get to choose which one
- 19:33Speaker 3: you start with, and then we don't open it until
- 19:35Speaker 3: the very end.
- 19:36Speaker 5: You are from the USA, baby, So if you would
- 19:38Speaker 5: like to choose your your number, I would.
- 19:41Speaker 3: I'm gonna choose case number seven.
- 19:42Speaker 4: Please case number seven? All right, So if I do
- 19:47Speaker 4: this correctly, this should happen.
- 19:50Speaker 3: There we go. Yes, is your case underneath my name
- 19:54Speaker 3: on the screen. It looks good. I'm ready to go.
- 19:57Speaker 4: All right, So we are entering round one. First Round one,
- 20:02Speaker 4: you will be opening six cases.
- 20:04Speaker 3: Yep. I'm gonna start with case number twenty six.
- 20:07Speaker 5: Please case number twenty six. Okay.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Interesting.
- 20:17Speaker 5: Oh, two hundred thousand is gone that I.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Was gonna say, it's so funny. The small box just
- 20:22Speaker 3: has three dollars signs in it, so I doney with
- 20:26Speaker 3: that much. But then two hundred thousand disappeared from the side.
- 20:29Speaker 3: So now I know that was two hundred thousand dollars. Shay,
- 20:32Speaker 3: it's a great start. This is exactly how picture this
- 20:36Speaker 3: is going.
- 20:37Speaker 5: You know what dollar signs mean, right, that's.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Apparently it's it's big dollar signs. Apparently, I'm gonna go
- 20:43Speaker 3: for a smaller dollar sign Let's try case twenty five.
- 20:46Speaker 5: Okay, case twenty five, looking backwards, all right.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Yep, this is your system. Yes it is. Oh no,
- 20:52Speaker 3: it's three more dollars signs.
- 20:54Speaker 5: It's more dollar signs. But it Carl, oh thousands.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Your system's flat.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Oh my god, my systems. Also, the number of cases
- 21:02Speaker 3: to open is wrong. This has gone sideway somehow.
- 21:08Speaker 5: All right, well, yeah, that should be full. I can
- 21:10Speaker 5: up that here. There we go. There, you can change
- 21:11Speaker 5: I can change that from me.
- 21:12Speaker 3: All right, four more. I'm gonna stick to my system,
- 21:15Speaker 3: no matter how damage. We're gonna go with twenty.
- 21:17Speaker 4: Four twenty four okay, okay, three, okay, that's okay, that's
- 21:27Speaker 4: a bleak good.
- 21:28Speaker 3: I need a blue. I needed a blue. Let's keep
- 21:30Speaker 3: going with twenty.
- 21:31Speaker 5: Three twenty three, still walking backwards, still working.
- 21:36Speaker 3: Backwards, and it is. Alright, that's great, that's great, that's great,
- 21:42Speaker 3: that's great.
- 21:42Speaker 4: Let's say two cases left to open twenty two. I
- 21:46Speaker 4: thought you were gonna say that.
- 21:48Speaker 3: Yep, you were right?
- 21:51Speaker 6: Is five?
- 21:54Speaker 3: Okay? One left?
- 21:56Speaker 5: Twenty twenty yeah, break the break the cycle? Can I
- 21:59Speaker 5: tempt you?
- 22:00Speaker 3: Twenty one?
- 22:01Speaker 5: Twenty one? It is we're moving that top raw.
- 22:05Speaker 3: And it is.
- 22:10Speaker 5: Should have gone with twenty. That's the million dollars off
- 22:14Speaker 5: for the highest number.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, this is exactly how I pictured of this
- 22:19Speaker 3: game going. But Aaron fifty, I still five hundred thousand.
- 22:23Speaker 5: How are you feeling right now?
- 22:25Speaker 3: Pretty shitty? Pretty bad? Pretty bad? This is awful.
- 22:32Speaker 4: Obviously that was a that was a big hit, losing
- 22:35Speaker 4: thousand four d hundred thousand.
- 22:37Speaker 5: But yeap, just oh do you hear that wound open?
- 22:43Speaker 5: Is that is that coming through?
- 22:44Speaker 3: Nope, I don't hear anything.
- 22:46Speaker 5: You don't hear anything. It's blocking that out.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Okay, Well, now we're going to introduce the format point
- 22:50Speaker 4: for the twenty twenty five deal or no deal, which,
- 22:53Speaker 4: just like my bank in real life, I have text
- 22:55Speaker 4: chat with my so we won't be calling the banker,
- 22:59Speaker 4: but I will be doing a quick text chat here.
- 23:02Speaker 4: And I'm just getting oh, okay, he's called you a
- 23:05Speaker 4: very rude word via text. Why I'm not gonna say.
- 23:09Speaker 3: You should be very pleased. I took them one point
- 23:12Speaker 3: six million dollars off the board.
- 23:15Speaker 5: He still thinks you're a C word, apparently, sir.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Oh wow, Yeah, well we'll see about that.
- 23:22Speaker 5: Okay.
- 23:22Speaker 4: So I think he's gonna I think he's gonna make
- 23:24Speaker 4: an offer that he says is fair because of course
- 23:26Speaker 4: he's a he, and that you should seriously consider considering
- 23:30Speaker 4: what's happened in the game here and here is your offer.
- 23:35Speaker 3: Oh Jesus, twelve well hundred dollars. Ah well, this is
- 23:40Speaker 3: gonna be the easiest decision in the game so far.
- 23:42Speaker 4: Yeah, no deal, all right, Aaron says, no deally, Oh
- 23:52Speaker 4: my god, that's so loud in my ears. All I
- 23:57Speaker 4: need to figure out a way to that goes on
- 24:00Speaker 4: for forever. Holy shit.
- 24:05Speaker 5: Let me see how I can balance the audio here?
- 24:11Speaker 5: Where's this sound coming from?
- 24:13Speaker 6: Howie?
- 24:14Speaker 5: Vamp for me? Vamp for me? Howie, Steve Stevie, you're
- 24:17Speaker 5: my Howie?
- 24:18Speaker 1: Oh am? I? So, how are those chickens doing over there? What?
- 24:27Speaker 3: All right?
- 24:28Speaker 5: There's nowhere on the flash player that I can just
- 24:30Speaker 5: lower the volume specifically, So I'm just gonna I won't
- 24:33Speaker 5: be able to hear you for the ten seconds after
- 24:35Speaker 5: I hit no Deal.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Okay, can you mute the flash players? You can't hear
- 24:39Speaker 1: it anyway.
- 24:40Speaker 5: That's such a good point.
- 24:42Speaker 3: Yeah you might as well, Yeah, you might as well.
- 24:44Speaker 5: Sorry, how would I I've just zoomed in.
- 24:51Speaker 8: This is.
- 24:54Speaker 5: Oh please keep it in. There's no there's no meat button.
- 24:58Speaker 3: There's meat or mute.
- 25:00Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, there's no meat button.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Bless of meat.
- 25:05Speaker 4: All right, We're just we're just gonna keep playing. We're
- 25:06Speaker 4: going to move on to round two, where there will
- 25:08Speaker 4: be five cases to open.
- 25:10Speaker 5: Aaron take it away?
- 25:11Speaker 3: Yeah, open the low one twenty please.
- 25:15Speaker 5: Oh okay. You're going for a strategy here.
- 25:18Speaker 3: It's not a very good one so far. That's good.
- 25:25Speaker 3: That's good. Let's keep it up. Number nineteen please.
- 25:27Speaker 5: Number nineteen. And it is four hundred okay, okay, three
- 25:37Speaker 5: cases left to open.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Keep this up. Eighteen please.
- 25:45Speaker 5: Seven hundred and fifty thousand is gone from the board.
- 25:49Speaker 3: Oh damn it.
- 25:51Speaker 5: Two cases left to open.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Oh this is bad. Seventeen please.
- 25:57Speaker 5: Seventy is not changing the strategy at all.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Nope, nope, I'm sticking with it, even though it's punched
- 26:03Speaker 3: me in the dick.
- 26:04Speaker 5: Okay, well that was that was more like a little
- 26:07Speaker 5: caress around the face.
- 26:08Speaker 3: Yeah, that was one hundred dollars. I'll take that and last,
- 26:11Speaker 3: but not least, number sixteen, please say sixteen. Be kind,
- 26:15Speaker 3: please be kind, please be kind.
- 26:18Speaker 5: Fifty okay, okay, not about bought that.
- 26:22Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, we we did only take one of
- 26:25Speaker 3: the big seven out, but it was the biggest one
- 26:27Speaker 3: left and that sucks, but it was. Indeed, it just
- 26:30Speaker 3: means I'm gonna have to work harder if I want
- 26:32Speaker 3: a better offer.
- 26:33Speaker 1: So you could start retirement with that top one though,
- 26:36Speaker 1: Still you're good.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely, even even the three hundred or
- 26:42Speaker 3: the one hundred thousand would be amazing. Yeah, and if
- 26:47Speaker 3: I invested wisely.
- 26:51Speaker 1: On video games and pizza.
- 26:54Speaker 5: Yes, okay, well said this.
- 27:00Speaker 4: Obviously the offer is going to go up here, the
- 27:01Speaker 4: banker says, because you took out one of the big ones,
- 27:03Speaker 4: but there's still some big hitters.
- 27:05Speaker 3: I also took a lot on the left side, A
- 27:08Speaker 3: lot of left side of low numbers are gone. This
- 27:13Speaker 3: is a better deal than the last time.
- 27:14Speaker 4: The banker is offering what he thinks is a is
- 27:17Speaker 4: a pretty reasonable offer. But we'll see how you feel
- 27:19Speaker 4: about it.
- 27:19Speaker 3: Here we go seve and fifty dollars, a big jump
- 27:26Speaker 3: from what it was. It is a big jump from
- 27:28Speaker 3: what it was, but it's still a very low amount
- 27:29Speaker 3: of money considering the amounts that are still in play.
- 27:34Speaker 4: He just sent a he just sent a follow up
- 27:36Speaker 4: text saying that you're gonna lose the five hundred thousand
- 27:39Speaker 4: in the next round, is what he's saying.
- 27:42Speaker 3: Wow, he's probably right. I'm gonna say no deal anyway.
- 27:46Speaker 4: No deal, right because this is the only way I
- 27:49Speaker 4: can clear the number. Oh my god, my ears.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Oh, poor man, you gotta make it through each round,
- 27:57Speaker 1: just so he has to do that.
- 28:01Speaker 3: I'm not going to be that cruel to him.
- 28:05Speaker 5: I don't know what you just said in the last
- 28:07Speaker 5: twenty seconds.
- 28:10Speaker 4: Hear us?
- 28:10Speaker 1: Now?
- 28:10Speaker 5: Is it? I can hear you know it's it's the
- 28:13Speaker 5: thing is faded.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Move let's move on to the next round.
- 28:16Speaker 5: All right, we're going to move on to round three
- 28:17Speaker 5: with four cases to open.
- 28:19Speaker 3: Take it away our Okay, I'm hoping this isn't disastrous.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Number fifteen, please fifteen do did you don't be the
- 28:27Speaker 3: big one? Don't be the big one.
- 28:28Speaker 1: It's all right, goodbye to that dollar, all.
- 28:32Speaker 3: Right, Number fourteen, please case fourteen, low money, low money,
- 28:40Speaker 3: five hundred thousand.
- 28:41Speaker 5: The bank was right.
- 28:42Speaker 3: He was right, a bitch. How did he know? He
- 28:46Speaker 3: knew because he can see what values are where.
- 28:52Speaker 5: You'd like to think so, but he actually can't. Thirteen
- 28:56Speaker 5: please thirteen, Okay, it's.
- 28:59Speaker 3: Getting very very bad. Take the penny off please.
- 29:02Speaker 5: Right, Well, it's the lost of the red side like that.
- 29:08Speaker 3: And finally number twelve and number twelve you got this,
- 29:11Speaker 3: You got this, penny, penny, penny, penny.
- 29:15Speaker 5: Seventy five k has seventy five is gone.
- 29:19Speaker 2: It's still it's still towards the right side. Slightly there's
- 29:24Speaker 2: there's one more value over there on the right side.
- 29:26Speaker 5: But slightly slightly.
- 29:28Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I mean you've still got three hundred thousand,
- 29:30Speaker 4: that you've still got one hundred thousand. That those are
- 29:32Speaker 4: two big numbers to be keeping that they could be
- 29:34Speaker 4: in number seven.
- 29:36Speaker 5: That's true, could be good, be good.
- 29:40Speaker 3: B could be the only one way to get it though,
- 29:42Speaker 3: And that's just stick.
- 29:43Speaker 1: With it for the whole damn game, to keep going
- 29:45Speaker 1: down in numbers.
- 29:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:47Speaker 5: Can I ask about this strategy?
- 29:48Speaker 3: An is it?
- 29:49Speaker 5: Is it a way of trying to like so so orange?
- 29:52Speaker 3: Yeah, because randomly placed numbers are just gonna be you know,
- 29:56Speaker 3: it could be literally anywhere, so picking any number is
- 29:59Speaker 3: just as good as picking any other number. So my
- 30:03Speaker 3: strategy is basically to pick case number seven, clear everything
- 30:07Speaker 3: down to eleven. Then I'm going to reverse start at
- 30:09Speaker 3: one and work my way up to six, and then
- 30:11Speaker 3: once I'm down to those six cases, then I'm just
- 30:13Speaker 3: gonna start picking randomly. I think. Okay, the entire goal
- 30:18Speaker 3: was to leave case six to case eleven covered and
- 30:21Speaker 3: hope that the big one of the big ones is
- 30:23Speaker 3: in there. But so far there's only two left, and
- 30:28Speaker 3: I have to open three more cases if I want
- 30:30Speaker 3: to keep going.
- 30:30Speaker 5: Yeah, but before that, banker, Yeah, pretty cheeky with this one.
- 30:37Speaker 4: He said, you turned it down last time, but this
- 30:39Speaker 4: time you should really considering it, consider it, considering how
- 30:42Speaker 4: the game's going.
- 30:42Speaker 3: He's going seven to two fifty against its umber. Again.
- 30:45Speaker 8: What a dick?
- 30:46Speaker 5: What is a dick?
- 30:48Speaker 3: No deal? No deal, no deal, and even easier no
- 30:52Speaker 3: deal than last time. All right, Well, now I've got
- 30:56Speaker 3: three cases open, and I have to stay away from
- 30:58Speaker 3: three hundred thousand and one hundred thousand, but there's a
- 31:01Speaker 3: lot of low ones that are still there's still Yeah,
- 31:04Speaker 3: I would think anything under ten thousand is a win.
- 31:06Speaker 3: So I'm hoping to God that all three of these
- 31:09Speaker 3: are under that. We're starting with case number.
- 31:11Speaker 4: One, going to case number one. We're going reverse now, yeah,
- 31:15Speaker 4: base number.
- 31:16Speaker 3: One, and it is please be the penny, please, it's.
- 31:22Speaker 5: The three hundred done from the board.
- 31:26Speaker 3: It's a disaster. It's an absolute disaster, all right.
- 31:31Speaker 5: Case two then got to play the system.
- 31:34Speaker 3: At this point, there's nothing to do but stick to
- 31:36Speaker 3: the system. Ten dollars. Okay, that helps, but it's still
- 31:41Speaker 3: not great. Number three, please.
- 31:43Speaker 5: Number three, last one of this rounds.
- 31:45Speaker 3: Please take the penny. Please take the penny.
- 31:50Speaker 5: And that goes to twenty five dollars.
- 31:52Speaker 3: Okay, okay, So what we've got left for those who
- 31:55Speaker 3: are listening, we have the penny. We have seventy five dollars,
- 31:57Speaker 3: two hundred dollars, five thousand dollars, ten thousand dollars, twenty
- 32:00Speaker 3: five thousand dollars, fifty thousand dollars, and one hundred thousand dollars.
- 32:05Speaker 3: To be honest, I would be pleased with anything on
- 32:07Speaker 3: that right side if this was an actual game show
- 32:10Speaker 3: as trying to beat Augie's score. This fucking sucks. This sucks.
- 32:18Speaker 3: Yet well, it's it's not. It's probably gonna be better
- 32:20Speaker 3: than this.
- 32:24Speaker 5: We'll see, we'll see what strategy is.
- 32:26Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, maybe maybe he goes differently. Maybe it all
- 32:28Speaker 3: falls one and goes up, and that'd be amazing. Exact Fuck,
- 32:37Speaker 3: that'd be so good, it'd be amazing.
- 32:39Speaker 5: The banker is very happy, of course he would be.
- 32:43Speaker 5: The banker has thrilled.
- 32:44Speaker 4: The banker says he's going to be able to treat
- 32:45Speaker 4: all of his oligarch friends to a slap of meal
- 32:48Speaker 4: this evening.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Well, I hope you enjoy it, you prick and hare.
- 32:54Speaker 5: Is your offer at the end of round four?
- 32:57Speaker 3: Oh, it's even lower?
- 32:59Speaker 5: Fuck?
- 33:00Speaker 3: No, no deal, no deal?
- 33:03Speaker 6: All right?
- 33:04Speaker 3: Isn't easy? Fifty percent of having more than that? I
- 33:07Speaker 3: thought it would be over ten at this point, but nope, nope,
- 33:10Speaker 3: screw that. We're we're in for the long haulf he's
- 33:13Speaker 3: going to keep trying to cheat me out, all right?
- 33:17Speaker 3: Ready for Oh yeah, he's still got five more seconds
- 33:19Speaker 3: of silence.
- 33:20Speaker 5: I'm just about that now, Ready for that five iron
- 33:23Speaker 5: I keep forgetting.
- 33:24Speaker 3: After I say no deal, he can't hear ship nothing. Okay, forget,
- 33:28Speaker 3: let's open case four. Let's stick to the system.
- 33:30Speaker 4: Okay, system because it hasn't down, because it's not been
- 33:34Speaker 4: a total disaster to this.
- 33:36Speaker 3: Point, not at all. Fine man, Yeah, well I'm about
- 33:44Speaker 3: to get rid of it. Case five, please five.
- 33:47Speaker 1: This is the one cent.
- 33:50Speaker 3: I really hope it is.
- 33:53Speaker 5: It's a sentence, a sense.
- 33:54Speaker 3: The penny's gone.
- 33:56Speaker 6: Yeah, are happy with that?
- 33:58Speaker 3: That's that? That was a good round.
- 34:00Speaker 1: This isn't pounds right, not dollars, No, this is dollars.
- 34:05Speaker 5: Dollars.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Don't they look the same in numbers?
- 34:09Speaker 5: No?
- 34:10Speaker 4: I mean numbers, yeah, number are you asking if numbers
- 34:13Speaker 4: are the same, Stevie.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Are numbers in your numbers?
- 34:17Speaker 3: All right?
- 34:18Speaker 5: They are?
- 34:20Speaker 3: But the currencies are different.
- 34:22Speaker 1: But they all have dollar signs.
- 34:24Speaker 3: Yes, so I'm supposed to know what which you know
- 34:28Speaker 3: what dollars are right?
- 34:30Speaker 1: British dollars?
- 34:30Speaker 3: Dollars British? They the British, not dollars, Stevie. The British
- 34:34Speaker 3: have pounds, right, but they got the dollar euros or no,
- 34:37Speaker 3: they're out of euros so they're back to pounds.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Yeah, they have the dollar sign though, No, they have
- 34:41Speaker 1: a pound sign. Oh there's a different sign. Yes, Oh,
- 34:44Speaker 1: ship looks like a curse of l Oh it's weirdes
- 34:46Speaker 1: not even start with a p.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Moving on.
- 34:51Speaker 5: Yeah, the bank is offers coming in.
- 34:53Speaker 4: He's just taking a bit of time over this one,
- 34:55Speaker 4: because even though you took out one of the bigger
- 34:57Speaker 4: numbers that you had left, you still have that hundred
- 34:59Speaker 4: that there, and that is scaring him a little. So
- 35:03Speaker 4: he's gonna make an offer that he says is his
- 35:05Speaker 4: most fair offer, yes, and that you should seriously consider
- 35:09Speaker 4: taking it.
- 35:11Speaker 2: So here it is, oh, eleven thousand dollars, Okay, okay,
- 35:17Speaker 2: now this this is genuinely worthy of consideration. Yeah, because
- 35:23Speaker 2: if I do manage to take out the one hundred thousand,
- 35:25Speaker 2: then I'm gonna be chasing that. I'm gonna be chasing
- 35:28Speaker 2: that for the rest of the game, and I'm probably
- 35:30Speaker 2: not gonna get near it unless I happen to have the.
- 35:32Speaker 3: Ten to twenty five in my case. On the other hand,
- 35:36Speaker 3: if I open anything but the one hundred thousand, that
- 35:39Speaker 3: number is gonna go up.
- 35:41Speaker 5: And just two cases to open in the next round.
- 35:43Speaker 3: Next round is one case.
- 35:44Speaker 5: We're his one case.
- 35:45Speaker 3: Okay, We're down to one case at a time, and
- 35:48Speaker 3: I'm gonna take that risk. We're saying no deal.
- 35:52Speaker 5: We're saying no deal.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Oh, he did it again, No deal. Go for the money, man,
- 35:57Speaker 1: get that money.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Here's hoping.
- 36:01Speaker 1: You got this. You got this all right.
- 36:04Speaker 3: I just need to avoid one hundred thousand dollars, that's all.
- 36:07Speaker 10: I need to do it in your cak.
- 36:09Speaker 3: I mean, if it's in my case, I can't pick it.
- 36:12Speaker 3: You're good soactly, I don't have that kind of faith.
- 36:16Speaker 3: I'm gonna I'm gonna go at case nine.
- 36:18Speaker 5: Please, case nine, here we go. Case nine.
- 36:21Speaker 3: Don't be one hundred thousand. Don't be one hundred thousand,
- 36:24Speaker 3: anything else, anything else. Don't be the hundred.
- 36:29Speaker 5: I'll break it is the one hundred thousand.
- 36:32Speaker 3: Well, now I'm chasing. Now, I'm chasing. That's off.
- 36:38Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't expect the offer to be to be
- 36:41Speaker 5: where it was.
- 36:42Speaker 3: No, nope, no, nope, nope, nope. I would be amazed
- 36:46Speaker 3: if uns over five honestly. Yeah.
- 36:49Speaker 5: We'll see what he's uh, we'll see what he's cooking
- 36:51Speaker 5: up here.
- 36:53Speaker 4: Oh, you bastard. Yeah that is it's five grand. Oh
- 36:59Speaker 4: right down the middle, he's offering you five grand food.
- 37:02Speaker 4: That's in frail case.
- 37:03Speaker 3: I could just take the five grand and call it
- 37:05Speaker 3: a day. No, no, screwt And for a penny in
- 37:11Speaker 3: for a pound, We're going to deal.
- 37:12Speaker 1: No deal, Damn the gods man. He's like, nope, for pennies.
- 37:19Speaker 3: I got nothing to lose at this point.
- 37:20Speaker 1: I mean, really, you gotta go for the big nothing
- 37:23Speaker 1: to lose.
- 37:23Speaker 3: I gotta, I gotta. If I want something decent, I
- 37:26Speaker 3: gotta push for it. Please, when you're ready and you
- 37:29Speaker 3: can hear again, another case, please, Aaron, please open case ten,
- 37:34Speaker 3: case ten seventy five, two hundred seventy five or two
- 37:39Speaker 3: hundred seventy seventy five is gone.
- 37:45Speaker 5: Okay, I don't see.
- 37:47Speaker 3: It going up much, but it will go up. Yeah.
- 37:51Speaker 3: Now it's a fifty to fifty shot that I have
- 37:53Speaker 3: ten thousand or more. So I'm curious to see what
- 37:57Speaker 3: his deal is going to be. Is I would do
- 37:58Speaker 3: seventy five right down the middle.
- 38:02Speaker 5: Let's see what he does.
- 38:04Speaker 12: This.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Okay, A bit more of a prick.
- 38:07Speaker 5: He is a bit of a prick. We're gonna go
- 38:12Speaker 5: with because I'm also making this decision somehow, because I've
- 38:15Speaker 5: used I've said we now.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Dollars. That's a sign.
- 38:23Speaker 3: That a sign. That's a sign. It's a sign I
- 38:26Speaker 3: should continue. No deal. Wow deal, it is no deal.
- 38:31Speaker 4: I gotta remember to take the headphones off before that
- 38:33Speaker 4: sting comes in. While you can't well why I can't
- 38:38Speaker 4: hear what you're saying, I'm gonna rant about the person
- 38:40Speaker 4: who makes these games.
- 38:43Speaker 5: The sound levels are always ridiculously high.
- 38:45Speaker 3: All right, There is one more case to pick for
- 38:49Speaker 3: this next round, last one, and I'm going with case eight.
- 38:55Speaker 3: Case eight, give me a gift, be the two hundred.
- 38:59Speaker 3: The two hundred be amazing, but I'll take five thousand.
- 39:01Speaker 3: I'll even take ten hundred dollars. That's what we wanted
- 39:05Speaker 3: to say. On the least I can have is five thousand.
- 39:08Speaker 3: Oh okay, that feels good. That good. What are you
- 39:13Speaker 3: gonna give me? Backer? Because if you want me out
- 39:15Speaker 3: of this game, there's one way. No no, no, be insane, but.
- 39:24Speaker 5: Quite balanced off of that, it's let's see what. Let's
- 39:29Speaker 5: see what he does here.
- 39:31Speaker 3: I'm curious to see.
- 39:33Speaker 5: Here is your offer for.
- 39:34Speaker 3: The audience listening at home. You know what, though, honestly,
- 39:40Speaker 3: all things considered, I think that's pretty good. With five thousand,
- 39:44Speaker 3: ten thousand, and five.
- 39:46Speaker 12: Thousand left on the high end man deal, I'm taking
- 39:51Speaker 12: nice a staling.
- 39:53Speaker 5: Oh god, that sound is just as loud.
- 40:02Speaker 3: It's still going unbelievable.
- 40:10Speaker 5: It makes sense that they clap for longer when you deal.
- 40:13Speaker 1: I guess it does make sense. Nobody else is here
- 40:16Speaker 1: in the Afflaus, Oh.
- 40:17Speaker 5: My god, that's still clapping here.
- 40:19Speaker 1: I'll make ours clap.
- 40:20Speaker 5: There a cacophony. Okay, Aaron, you have dealt at ten thousand,
- 40:29Speaker 5: one hundred. Yeah.
- 40:30Speaker 3: I gotta hope that's enough to beat Doggy. But I
- 40:32Speaker 3: got a bad feeling.
- 40:35Speaker 5: Out of interest? Do we do we play on to
- 40:37Speaker 5: see what you had in your box?
- 40:39Speaker 3: I think, just for expediency's stake, let's open box seven
- 40:42Speaker 3: and see what I had.
- 40:43Speaker 5: All right, let's open K seven.
- 40:46Speaker 1: You got this man twenty negative too.
- 40:51Speaker 5: It was the twenty five thousand.
- 40:54Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's only four thousand, nine hundred and more than.
- 40:57Speaker 12: What you have.
- 40:58Speaker 2: So oh, that irritating that I could have guessed that's
- 41:03Speaker 2: what would have happened. I have the worst luck in
- 41:05Speaker 2: any event, bad man. I'm if I were on the
- 41:12Speaker 2: actual game show, i'd take it as a consolation price.
- 41:15Speaker 3: Yes, grand shit, but I gotta admit I am pretty disappointed,
- 41:19Speaker 3: and I'm pretty sure all he's gonna beat me, but
- 41:21Speaker 3: we're gonna find out. We're going to bring him back in.
- 41:23Speaker 3: We're not going to tell him how well I did,
- 41:25Speaker 3: and we're going to restart this game. So when we
- 41:28Speaker 3: come back, Augie's going to play and we'll see who wins.
- 41:31Speaker 3: If he we'll see if he can win Aaron Randolph's money.
- 41:34Speaker 6: Right after this, Hey, you there, We've got a question
- 41:48Speaker 6: for you.

- 43:14Speaker 3: he does not. He's about to play dealer known deal hisself.
- 43:18Speaker 3: But before you get into it, Augie, what charity have
- 43:20Speaker 3: you decided to play for this this episode?
- 43:22Speaker 1: Uh?
- 43:23Speaker 10: Saint Jude's Cancer Research?
- 43:25Speaker 3: Perfect cancer, because cancer, you know, all the more reason
- 43:30Speaker 3: to that's.
- 43:31Speaker 10: Perfect, especially children's cancer.
- 43:33Speaker 7: No one.
- 43:34Speaker 1: Yeah, it's fine.
- 43:35Speaker 10: You should have to go to something that horrid.
- 43:38Speaker 3: So that being in mind. Best of luck, Augie, Matt
- 43:41Speaker 3: take it away.
- 43:42Speaker 4: All right, thank you? Aaron Oki fussed up. This is
- 43:45Speaker 4: a game show. How are you doing good?
- 43:47Speaker 10: How are you?
- 43:48Speaker 5: I'm doing good? Thank you. I don't think Aaren asked
- 43:50Speaker 5: how I was doing so already. I want you to win.
- 43:53Speaker 3: Oh good to hear, so give us ship little empathy, man,
- 44:01Speaker 3: I am a villain. I'm playing my card.
- 44:05Speaker 10: I'm not a very good villain.
- 44:06Speaker 3: I care deeply about how Matt's doing. I just can't
- 44:09Speaker 3: show it.
- 44:09Speaker 4: I know, I know, we're playing our parts. But okay,
- 44:13Speaker 4: you don't have to be the villain. You're the hero,
- 44:15Speaker 4: and as the hero, you get to pick your case.
- 44:18Speaker 4: What number would you like is your case?
- 44:21Speaker 8: M You know, I was out there while Aaron was
- 44:24Speaker 8: doing his thing, practicing the whole time, just doing a
- 44:27Speaker 8: sequence of numbers.
- 44:29Speaker 10: Funny enough, I chose one to twenty six.
- 44:31Speaker 3: This is perfect.
- 44:35Speaker 5: Prepared.
- 44:36Speaker 6: I all prevar for this, and.
- 44:39Speaker 8: You know I usually start at one, but I'm think
- 44:42Speaker 8: I'm gonna do nineteen nineteen.
- 44:45Speaker 3: Okay, nineteen you got, let's.
- 44:49Speaker 4: Set the player case. They go nineteen nine is yours,
- 44:51Speaker 4: that is locked in. That is yours for the game. Okay,
- 44:54Speaker 4: so we are going to start things off with round one,
- 44:57Speaker 4: where you'll be selecting six cases to open.
- 44:59Speaker 5: Take it away.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Oh man, say I'm all really fast?
- 45:03Speaker 8: Yeah, all right, do a random secrets of numbers, definitely
- 45:09Speaker 8: not attached to anything.
- 45:11Speaker 10: Do not look up my phone number.
- 45:13Speaker 4: Eleven eleven it is I'm dialing as we speak. Oh oh,
- 45:21Speaker 4: and the values are appearing this time.
- 45:23Speaker 3: Okay, okay, so that was one hundred thousand dollars, one
- 45:27Speaker 3: hundred thousand west of the top seven.
- 45:29Speaker 11: But nice, not awful, no, not terrible, could be better.
- 45:36Speaker 3: Let's do eight, come on eight, number eight O case
- 45:41Speaker 3: number eight is fifty.
- 45:44Speaker 5: Two thousands, another big hitter.
- 45:46Speaker 3: But still kind of mid range.
- 45:49Speaker 5: Yeah, we're in the we're in the mid range of
- 45:50Speaker 5: the riots at the moment.
- 45:51Speaker 3: You haven't you haven't hit any one of the nasty ones.
- 45:54Speaker 3: Let's keep away from those.
- 45:56Speaker 5: Yeah, speaking of twenty three T three, is it a
- 46:02Speaker 5: nasty one?
- 46:02Speaker 3: Let's find out Jordan ten thousands.
- 46:07Speaker 5: Another one from the lower half of the right hand column.
- 46:09Speaker 3: Okay, so all of yours have been on the heavier side,
- 46:12Speaker 3: but they've all been lower amounts on the heavier side. Yeah,
- 46:15Speaker 3: let's see if we can get some of those amounts
- 46:17Speaker 3: on the left side.
- 46:18Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you know what, lower end.
- 46:21Speaker 5: Let's do that one now, going for one one oh
- 46:30Speaker 5: a million.
- 46:32Speaker 3: Off the board, millions out of the game.
- 46:35Speaker 11: Gang, Okay, let's let's do better, sure, Aaron, let's do better.
- 46:42Speaker 3: Not two bigs left, do better?
- 46:44Speaker 5: Okay, you know what, I'll do better for you, just
- 46:46Speaker 5: for you, buddy, let's do four case four. Okay, let's
- 46:50Speaker 5: let's see something from the blue side.
- 46:53Speaker 10: Yes, just off five there, but you know, O case.
- 47:00Speaker 5: Get another one low like that, sixteen, got sixteen.
- 47:05Speaker 3: Okay, he's drawing diagonal lines. Man twenty five thousand goes,
- 47:11Speaker 3: oh wow, okay, so in that round you caught five
- 47:14Speaker 3: dollars ten thousand, twenty five thousand, fifty thousand, one hundred
- 47:18Speaker 3: thousand and a million.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Which isn't bad, though it could be way worse.
- 47:23Speaker 3: It could be worse. Okay.
- 47:25Speaker 4: I'm in a text chat with my banker and he
- 47:29Speaker 4: is gloating. He's happy with how many low numbers are
- 47:34Speaker 4: still nasty.
- 47:36Speaker 10: Yeah, Well, joke's on him, cuz I'm gonna keep going.
- 47:43Speaker 4: Well, we'll find out for the sake of the format,
- 47:46Speaker 4: let's find out what the offer is. And he says,
- 47:48Speaker 4: this is a really strong offer considering you only took
- 47:51Speaker 4: out one blue here it.
- 47:53Speaker 3: Is six hundred bucks. That's right, right, question, You think
- 48:04Speaker 3: that will beat me? No deal?
- 48:08Speaker 10: No deal, no deal?
- 48:10Speaker 1: Yeah, say no deal, say no.
- 48:15Speaker 3: Oh there's music playing, Yeah, yeah, it's it's very loud
- 48:19Speaker 3: for him, you know.
- 48:20Speaker 9: That, man, No, out of probability of how many are
- 48:23Speaker 9: on the left, or you can get a lot of
- 48:24Speaker 9: left ones on this round.
- 48:25Speaker 1: In my mathematical assumption.
- 48:27Speaker 3: You would think that, yes, you would think you're doing shit.
- 48:31Speaker 10: Yeah, I'm supposed to be doing that.
- 48:33Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, I just like that, you appear
- 48:35Speaker 2: to be drawing that I can completely unintentional, Just like
- 48:40Speaker 2: the numbers I show, it's completely unintentional.
- 48:43Speaker 5: All right, Round two. You got five cases to open here.
- 48:46Speaker 10: Okay, uh, let's do two.
- 48:50Speaker 4: Case number two. It is fifty dollars, dude, fifty bucks,
- 48:56Speaker 4: that's what we want to say.
- 48:58Speaker 3: Very good, keep that up.
- 49:00Speaker 4: Let's do five, case five. Okay, three hundred's three hundred dollars,
- 49:10Speaker 4: keep it up.
- 49:12Speaker 10: Let's do seventeen.
- 49:13Speaker 5: Why not case seventeen?
- 49:15Speaker 1: Why?
- 49:15Speaker 5: Why the hell not?
- 49:16Speaker 1: Why?
- 49:18Speaker 3: Two hundred dollars?
- 49:19Speaker 5: Very well, all right, this is a great round two
- 49:22Speaker 5: to go. Alrighty, let's do twenty six, case twenty six.
- 49:31Speaker 5: The highest number.
- 49:34Speaker 3: Fifty bucks.
- 49:35Speaker 5: Fifty bucks again again?
- 49:39Speaker 3: Wait a minute, right.
- 49:40Speaker 10: Hang on second, Oh, I think one was supposed to be.
- 49:43Speaker 7: Oh, I know.
- 49:45Speaker 3: There's two fifties there.
- 49:47Speaker 12: All right, Well, we'll find out what's happening with the program. Wow,
- 49:56Speaker 12: I had a chance to win. Well books twice. Okay, twenty,
- 50:01Speaker 12: Who knows what.
- 50:02Speaker 5: That one was meant to be.
- 50:04Speaker 10: I want to be like the one cent or something cool.
- 50:08Speaker 5: So we're doing case twenty is the final one of
- 50:10Speaker 5: this end? Yeah all right, that was the one. Okay,
- 50:18Speaker 5: that was a.
- 50:19Speaker 3: Great confusing with the confusing Doppelgeger fifty.
- 50:22Speaker 10: I think I'm breaking it because I'm doing it in
- 50:24Speaker 10: patterns now.
- 50:26Speaker 7: But.
- 50:28Speaker 3: CV was completely right, not a one off the high end.
- 50:31Speaker 3: Very well done.
- 50:33Speaker 4: I'm just going to do a quick check to see
- 50:34Speaker 4: if we're missing any of the high end numbers as
- 50:37Speaker 4: a result.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Of Becket's office podium walk down to each briefcase. Oh god, no,
- 50:45Speaker 1: that was a good time.
- 50:46Speaker 3: Literally, if this was the actual game show, they would
- 50:48Speaker 3: have stopped everything and they would started over. They were
- 50:51Speaker 3: just everything.
- 50:53Speaker 10: But it's funnier this way.
- 50:56Speaker 3: It is kind of funnier. It was way funnier. They
- 50:58Speaker 3: kind of want to leave it, but yeah, it worked out.
- 51:00Speaker 1: Well, you're you're pretty much back where you started, and like.
- 51:06Speaker 3: So, well, let's see what the banker's offer is gonna be.
- 51:09Speaker 4: Okay, I think I know what value that was supposed
- 51:11Speaker 4: to Oh no, wait, there's that value. Okay, I have
- 51:15Speaker 4: no idea, what's happened to why there were two fifty dollars?
- 51:17Speaker 4: And what is unaccounted for? But everything still looks like
- 51:21Speaker 4: it's that okay.
- 51:23Speaker 5: So the banker is pretty upset, like you're beating him
- 51:30Speaker 5: a little bit.
- 51:31Speaker 3: I'm rigging the system.
- 51:34Speaker 4: There was five values, five huge numbers. They're still all seventy.
- 51:41Speaker 3: Assuming this next round goes horribly for you, you can't
- 51:44Speaker 3: get rid of them all.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:46Speaker 5: Yeah, he's making a stronger offer here here it is.
- 51:51Speaker 3: Nine thousand, not bad, not bad.
- 51:54Speaker 10: You know you can do a lot with nine grand again.
- 51:58Speaker 3: Do you think that beats me?
- 52:00Speaker 10: Absolutely not?
- 52:02Speaker 5: So okay, deal or no deal?
- 52:04Speaker 8: No deal? All right?
- 52:06Speaker 3: Yeah, no, he said the banker.
- 52:14Speaker 10: For the charity gonna fight.
- 52:17Speaker 1: Him in the ass.
- 52:18Speaker 5: Wait what wait what that's that's what I came back to.
- 52:23Speaker 1: Him.
- 52:23Speaker 3: Please?
- 52:25Speaker 5: Oh no, okay, okay, it's around three four cases to
- 52:28Speaker 5: open this time.
- 52:29Speaker 10: Oh four cases?
- 52:31Speaker 3: Huh?
- 52:32Speaker 10: All right, well let's do fourteen.
- 52:36Speaker 5: Okay, case fourteen that goes.
- 52:45Speaker 3: Seven and fifty thousand is off the table. Okay, I
- 52:48Speaker 3: still have you still have five hundred thousand, two hundred thousand.
- 52:53Speaker 3: There's a lot of options left.
- 52:55Speaker 5: All right, let's do thirteen, case thirteen, be low, yeah, bucks.
- 53:04Speaker 10: That's what we want to see, all right, two left,
- 53:09Speaker 10: twenty one.
- 53:11Speaker 5: Case twenty one, one hundred dollars your bucks just one
- 53:18Speaker 5: moment ago.
- 53:22Speaker 10: And why not eighteen?
- 53:24Speaker 5: Why not case eighteen?
- 53:26Speaker 1: Oh yeah, why not?
- 53:29Speaker 3: Four hundred thousand?
- 53:31Speaker 5: Four hundred thousand is now gone breaking up that block
- 53:34Speaker 5: of four.
- 53:34Speaker 3: Okay, that's why not. Not a disaster, No, no, no, no, no,
- 53:40Speaker 3: not a disaster. There's still a lot of high amounts
- 53:43Speaker 3: in play. Six on the right, five on the left,
- 53:46Speaker 3: so you're still leaning that direction.
- 53:49Speaker 10: All for the great America, my home.
- 53:51Speaker 3: My love.
- 53:56Speaker 5: Yeah, oh okay, I can't repeat what he's just called you.
- 54:00Speaker 10: Well, you know I've heard worse. Probably I've called myself worse.
- 54:05Speaker 1: Probably that's a very good possibility.
- 54:09Speaker 4: Okay, I see what he's doing here, very interesting, says
- 54:13Speaker 4: that was a pretty evenly split round. She took out
- 54:15Speaker 4: a couple of small ones, a couple of big ones.
- 54:18Speaker 4: So your offer it's once again nine thousand stuck.
- 54:24Speaker 10: Okay, I see what this is.
- 54:25Speaker 5: Well, you know it was no deal before, so it's
- 54:28Speaker 5: going to be no deal now.
- 54:30Speaker 10: It's no deal.
- 54:31Speaker 1: God, you stick it to the man, Get more money
- 54:36Speaker 1: out of that fool.
- 54:39Speaker 10: It's not how negotiations work. So I offer you the
- 54:42Speaker 10: same exact deal. Yeah, okay, I took didn't take that
- 54:45Speaker 10: last time.
- 54:45Speaker 3: Definitely take it this time.
- 54:48Speaker 5: Okay, Round four, okay, three cases to open this time.
- 54:52Speaker 10: All right, this is going to be the hour of
- 54:56Speaker 10: my discontent.
- 54:58Speaker 4: Twenty four O number twenty four, okay, seventy five, seventy five,
- 55:06Speaker 4: still three big numbers.
- 55:08Speaker 3: Up that Yeah, not not the worst thing in the world.
- 55:12Speaker 5: If that's the biggest one we see this round, we're
- 55:13Speaker 5: in it.
- 55:14Speaker 3: That'd be fantastic.
- 55:17Speaker 5: Nine Case number nine, hoping for a low number.
- 55:24Speaker 3: Very nice, thousand dollars practically a blue yeah, alright, a purple.
- 55:32Speaker 5: Let's say it's a bit of purple.
- 55:35Speaker 3: Bit of a purple.
- 55:37Speaker 10: Final one will be a six.
- 55:39Speaker 4: Final number is going to be case number six, al right, okay,
- 55:45Speaker 4: all right, taking out those lower reds.
- 55:48Speaker 3: Very interesting. Yeah, everything has gone on the right hand
- 55:52Speaker 3: side except two hundred thousand, three hundred thousand, and five
- 55:56Speaker 3: hundred thousand.
- 55:58Speaker 10: I have an inkling.
- 56:01Speaker 5: Kidding go either way.
- 56:03Speaker 3: As with all things, this offer is going to be interesting.
- 56:07Speaker 4: The banker is just spamming me with messages that say
- 56:10Speaker 4: one dollar and I don't think it's his offer. I
- 56:12Speaker 4: think it's just like he's pointing out that that one
- 56:14Speaker 4: dollar box is still there, and I think he thinks
- 56:16Speaker 4: it's in your case number nineteen.
- 56:20Speaker 11: I think him and I are in the same wavelength
- 56:21Speaker 11: except for that whole offering deal thing.
- 56:25Speaker 12: He is.
- 56:26Speaker 4: He is scared of those three big numbers there, though
- 56:28Speaker 4: you've managed to carry three numbers quite far into the game.
- 56:32Speaker 4: So he wants you to really think about this offer,
- 56:34Speaker 4: considering there's a much higher chance that you've got those
- 56:37Speaker 4: five on the side there.
- 56:38Speaker 5: So is your offer.
- 56:41Speaker 3: Eleven two hundred dollars actually better? Seems pretty low still,
- 56:49Speaker 3: but I don't know. Do you think that number beats mine?
- 56:56Speaker 10: It doesn't. No deal, no deal.
- 56:58Speaker 12: It is.
- 57:01Speaker 1: Get more money, okay, Oh yeah, forget.
- 57:09Speaker 3: We have to just dance a little, just two cases
- 57:14Speaker 3: to offer this round. It's open. Excuse me, but yeah,
- 57:20Speaker 3: shut up and let me.
- 57:21Speaker 5: That's all right.
- 57:24Speaker 3: I'm just trying to be helpful. It's my nature to
- 57:26Speaker 3: try to be helpful.
- 57:27Speaker 5: It's very helpful during the fifteen seconds where I can't hear.
- 57:31Speaker 3: That's but other than that, that shut the fuck.
- 57:37Speaker 11: Win your money, God damn serious, win that money.
- 57:41Speaker 13: Speaking of Yeah, the only two cases to open here. Okay,
- 57:47Speaker 13: you know what, we'll close out that line three, case
- 57:52Speaker 13: number three.
- 57:53Speaker 3: One one dollar, five hundred dollars.
- 57:56Speaker 5: Five hundred bucks. That's good, that's what we want to say.
- 57:58Speaker 3: Good, one more stay away from that right side. This
- 58:02Speaker 3: is gonna be gorgeous.
- 58:04Speaker 5: Fifteen case fifteen.
- 58:09Speaker 3: One dollar, one dollar.
- 58:12Speaker 5: Oh, the bank is gonna be pissed. This is gonna
- 58:14Speaker 5: be great. He was absolutely counting on that dollar being
- 58:20Speaker 5: in there.
- 58:21Speaker 3: Matt spam the banker back five hundred thousand, five tventy five.
- 58:29Speaker 5: Oh my good. I think you're in a great position. Ogie.
- 58:31Speaker 4: I think he's he's thinking about this because that he
- 58:33Speaker 4: knows the number's got to go up. He's gotta try
- 58:35Speaker 4: and tempt you in case you do have that five
- 58:37Speaker 4: hundred thousand, which is always a possibility. That's right, Yeah, okay, poor,
- 58:48Speaker 4: all right. I think there's gonna be some serious thinking
- 58:50Speaker 4: to do here. He is offering you forty two thousand dollars.
- 59:02Speaker 3: That's a lot, a lot of money.
- 59:08Speaker 10: But I played a win, no deal deal.
- 59:13Speaker 3: Serious boys, no boy, no.
- 59:17Speaker 1: I'm taking all your money going hard. Yes, Oh my god,
- 59:24Speaker 1: this is awesome.
- 59:25Speaker 4: And so we continue now one case a time, oggie,
- 59:31Speaker 4: what's your pick ten?
- 59:35Speaker 5: Case number ten?
- 59:39Speaker 3: Four dollars off the table.
- 59:43Speaker 5: Oh my goodness.
- 59:44Speaker 3: Now there's three values on the right side, all two
- 59:47Speaker 3: hundred thousand or higher, and just two values on the
- 59:50Speaker 3: left side, seventy five and seven point fifty.
- 59:52Speaker 5: Number's gotta go up.
- 59:54Speaker 3: It's got to go up.
- 59:58Speaker 5: Yeah. I I'm loving this hockey.
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: I'm loving the amount that you've the the amounts you've
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: got rid of here and what you're left with your
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: board is causing him to literally shit himself. He's genuinely
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: terrified of you having the five hundred thousand and potentially
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: having the three hundred thousand. That's still a big number.
- 1:00:25Speaker 10: Could still get the five.
- 1:00:27Speaker 5: He's gonna make you an offer that I I think
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: you should seriously consider.
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: WHOA, that's a big show.
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: Holy shit, just shy of two hundred k there, which
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: is one of the numbers you have left on the board.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: You have a sixty chance of having more than that
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: in your case. But I mean, do you think I
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: did better than that? Mh This is tense, genuinely, the
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: tension in the room is real.
- 1:01:17Speaker 10: So in my mind, I have basically.
- 1:01:27Speaker 8: I'm gonna say it's gonna it's basically to be a
- 1:01:29Speaker 8: fifty to fifty because I have a feeling I know
- 1:01:31Speaker 8: what happened to that other fifty.
- 1:01:36Speaker 10: Fuck it, you know what. I'm not going to explain myself.
- 1:01:38Speaker 10: I'm just gonna do it.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: No deal, no deal, O my goodness, oh my goodness.
- 1:01:47Speaker 8: Go for it.
- 1:01:49Speaker 10: There is no method to this madness today.
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: I am.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: Okay, you're a mad man, and I respect it.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: I am speechless. I just wow. Still, I have a theory,
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: and if you take the seventy five or the seven
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: fifty off this board, that offer is going to go
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: north of two hundred thousand dollars.
- 1:02:10Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I have this theory.
- 1:02:12Speaker 8: I just got to confirm it real quick. So the
- 1:02:15Speaker 8: next one I'm choosing is twenty five.
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: Case number twenty five.
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: Interesting, okay, Okay, is actually not bad not a bad
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: case to lose at this point because that was in
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: the middle.
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: Yeah, he really wanted to see the five hundred thousand
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: go that he did not get his wish, and he's
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: actually genuinely terrified that that's what you have that now.
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: I I don't see this offer going up though, but
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: I don't think it's going to go down by much.
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: Yeah, because at the same time you could have seventy
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: five dollars one hundred and fifty. They are both still
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: at place.
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: He could wind up selling a seventy five dollars case
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: for two hundred thousand dollars.
- 1:03:08Speaker 5: So let's take a look at that offer.
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: Okay, it has gone down, but it's still a one
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: hundred and seventy five thousand.
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: Dollars a lot of money.
- 1:03:21Speaker 10: This has turned into a fifty to fifty situation, so
- 1:03:24Speaker 10: no deal.
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: Oh my god, I just felt my spine like curl
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: up on me.
- 1:03:36Speaker 10: There's one from one one in twenty six to fifty
- 1:03:39Speaker 10: to fifty.
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, okay, so we are round eight. There is
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: one case to open before the next offer of four boxes.
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: Left seventy we're seven to fifty.
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: You get it, twelve case number twelve.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: Seventy five or seven fifty. It's the seventy five, seventy
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: five dollars.
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: Holy shit, Oh my god, amazing, it's so cool. The
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: banker just must be shitting everywhere.
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: It's just piper emlogs, it's pop emoj's just constantly and
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: then poop emlog fire emoji.
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: Stop shitting.
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: It's hot lava shitting. Oh god, Oh okay, he's he's done.
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: So the bank has done something for me here, which
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: is he's thrown some nostalgia my way for the UK version,
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: and he's making an offer that was the highest cash
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: reward on the UK version. It's two hundred and fifty
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: thousand dollars for your kids.
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: Oh I almost that's a lot of money. But I
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: almost have to say just no deal on principle, because yeah, no,
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: I mean sixty six percent chance you have higher than that.
- 1:04:55Speaker 10: Oh yeah, like that's a thing too.
- 1:04:57Speaker 8: I'm hedging up bet and this next one will either
- 1:05:01Speaker 8: let me know what I'm in for or you know,
- 1:05:04Speaker 8: so no deal start.
- 1:05:06Speaker 5: So no deal?
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: It is oh man, now is going mill man?
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: I don't care.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: It's three hundred bus.
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: So the dream scenario now is that you find that
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: seven to fifty. If you find that seven to fifty,
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: you are guaranteed three hundred thousand dollars.
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:05:28Speaker 10: Yeah, Well, when you are ready, i'll take that case
- 1:05:33Speaker 10: twenty two.
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: You go for case twenty two looking for that seven
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: hundred and fifty, or it is oh boy, twenty two,
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: come on.
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: The five hundred thousand dollars.
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: Oh, it's the five hundred thousands.
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: Lost the bigen Okay, So now it's.
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: Down to a literal fifty to fifty. You either have
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: seven hundred and fifty dollars in your case or you
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: have three hundred thousand dollars.
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: Well, obviously he's happier. He's happier that the five hundred
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: thousand has gone. I think he was genuinely starting to
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: panic that that's what you had in your case, and
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: was starting to play the game with that in mind.
- 1:06:18Speaker 5: He got he got sucked out of the logic mind
- 1:06:19Speaker 5: a little bit there.
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: I did that. I mean, three hundred thousand is still
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: a lot, a lot.
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: Of money, but it could easily be the seven hundred
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: and fifty as well. So he's making an offer that
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: is hopefully going to attempt you just in case you
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: do have that seven hundred and fifty.
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: It's sixty nine thousand dollars.
- 1:06:41Speaker 10: Nice, Okay, nice.
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: So at this point I feel it's fair to reveal
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: that you have the two cases left, three hundred thousand
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: and seven fifty. Yes, one of those values beats what
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: I got, Okay, the other doesn't. Yeah, I'm not gonna
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: say whether the deal does or not. But this is
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: your last chance to take a deal.
- 1:07:09Speaker 10: Yeah, you're right after this.
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: If you say no deal to this, you are you.
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: I believe on the US version you had the option
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: to swap your box. But I don't know if we'll
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: I guess I'll leave it to Madis whether he wants.
- 1:07:19Speaker 8: To do that.
- 1:07:20Speaker 5: We'll see what the banker says.
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: Yeah, so if you say no deal to sixty nine thousand,
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: you are leaving it in the lap of fate, a
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: literal coin toss fifty to fifty chance that you beat me. Yeah,
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: so okay, sixty nine thousand could have done the.
- 1:07:37Speaker 5: Trick deal or no deal.
- 1:07:40Speaker 8: So I've never been a gambler. I'm not a very
- 1:07:43Speaker 8: good one. I'll blow my money like like that. Nope, Nope,
- 1:07:47Speaker 8: I'm at all. It's it's I just don't get very
- 1:07:49Speaker 8: much enjoyment out of it. But even I know the
- 1:07:54Speaker 8: law of probability is either going.
- 1:07:55Speaker 10: To be in your favor or not.
- 1:07:58Speaker 11: And I might have been playing this to win, but
- 1:08:01Speaker 11: I've been having fun.
- 1:08:02Speaker 10: So why stop here?
- 1:08:04Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: No, oh my god, wow, my goodness, yes, go for
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: it all. Oh my goodness, sir, what a game? What
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: a game.
- 1:08:18Speaker 5: Okay, I feel like.
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: At this point I might as well reveal, Agie, there
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: were a number of deals you could have taken. The
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: beat me because I got ten thousand and one hundred. Okay,
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: so it's all I wound up win. But now it's
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: now it's a coin flip. If you get the seven fifty,
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: you lose, an eye win. If you get the three
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: hundred thousand, I lose and you win.
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: So I've just had a message from the banker and
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: he is willing to offer a swap if you would
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: like to swap and take case number seven.
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: At the moment, case nineteen is yours.
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: Whatever is in there, that's what you're going home with,
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: unless you want to swap, and then it will be
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: case seven.
- 1:08:56Speaker 5: That is your value, your final total.
- 1:08:58Speaker 11: Okay, I chose my fate from the beginning. I'm keeping nineteen.
- 1:09:04Speaker 5: He's keeping case nineteen.
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: Now respect, Okay, with that, we are going to open
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: case nineteen to see what your final score is and
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: whether you win Aaron Randolph's money.
- 1:09:21Speaker 5: It was the three hundred thousand dollars.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, are you serious?
- 1:09:27Speaker 18: The three hundred thousand dollars was in case nineteen. Oki congratulations.
- 1:09:32Speaker 18: The final score is three hundred thousand. That's how much
- 1:09:37Speaker 18: of Aaron Randolph's money you win.
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: Yes, amblements for the next six thousand years.
- 1:09:46Speaker 10: Trusting in the universe and it'll carry you.
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: Damn. Oh damn.
- 1:09:49Speaker 10: What a good Yeah, what.
- 1:09:51Speaker 5: A great game. Congratulations, Oki, How are you feeling incredible?
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: Feeling very good.
- 1:09:55Speaker 8: Honestly, it was really all just off the cuffin, just
- 1:09:58Speaker 8: all for fun. But I honestly I forgot how fun
- 1:10:01Speaker 8: this game actually was. I remember, really remember those times
- 1:10:05Speaker 8: I spent with my mother watching it and yeah, just
- 1:10:07Speaker 8: you know, deal no deal, and yeah, I genuinely got
- 1:10:11Speaker 8: worked up.
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: I'm like, oh my godna win, is he gonna lose?
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: What's gonna happen?
- 1:10:15Speaker 17: I don't know.
- 1:10:16Speaker 11: Yeah, you're talking the bankers always fun, Matt.
- 1:10:23Speaker 5: No, it was just it was just me talking to myself.
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Matt, thank you for being an outstanding host
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: and banker as well.
- 1:10:32Speaker 6: Right, yes, thank you for having me.
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: This is a blast.
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: That was such a good game. Oh man, we've only
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: done two of these. They both incredible games. But you
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: have beaten me fair and square, and you have one
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: Aaron Reandolf's money. I will be making a donation of
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: fifty dollars to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital. Yeah in your name,
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: fuck excellent because answer absolutely.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: He's gotta be in the comments of.
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: It, Yeah because answer yeah, answer yes, oh yeah.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: A new Saturday morning podcast for Matt.
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: Thank you so much for doing this. This has been
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: an absolute joy and a pleasure, and it's largely thanks
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: to you so much.
- 1:11:13Speaker 5: Yeah, thank you for this opportunity. I always love hosting
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: game shows.
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: I always love hanging out with you guys, and it's
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: it's fun when you lose, Aaron, I've got to say,
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: we agree.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: It's nice for somebody else.
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: I had such a good time losing that, I don't care.
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: I had a genuine blast.
