- 0:00Speaker 1: And now move the sticks with Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks.
- 0:07Speaker 2: What's up? Everybody? Welcome to move the sticks. DJ Rhett
- 0:10Speaker 2: with you here today, Buck. We'll be back tomorrow. Rhett.
- 0:14Speaker 2: It's a it's a full NFL slate to recap, but
- 0:18Speaker 2: I do want to get your thoughts before we jump
- 0:20Speaker 2: into the NFL. Stuff plenty to get to there. A.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Did notre Dame just break another tackle? And b how
- 0:26Speaker 2: are you? How are you doing today? How are we feeling?
- 0:29Speaker 3: Well?
- 0:30Speaker 1: I am doing a lot more defending of the rock
- 0:33Speaker 1: than I feel like I wanted to do it.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Okay, wait, hang on, hang on, hang on a second here.
- 0:40Speaker 3: Oh my bad.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I thought I heard fine Bomb and I thought I
- 0:43Speaker 1: heard Lane Kiffin and all the SEC supporters again, but
- 0:46Speaker 1: I didn't.
- 0:46Speaker 3: It wasn't.
- 0:47Speaker 1: It was just after the Tennessee gotmash. She's pretty silent
- 0:50Speaker 1: over there. Did you know that Vanderbilt, Oklahoma and Kentucky
- 0:54Speaker 1: should have made.
- 0:54Speaker 3: The College Football Playoff?
- 0:55Speaker 1: By everyone else's logic, they had a couple of good wins,
- 0:58Speaker 1: the big wins, so wins got put him in.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm with you on that. Well, at some point
- 1:03Speaker 2: in time, like winning games is important I don't. I
- 1:06Speaker 2: hope we don't ever get to the point where winning
- 1:07Speaker 2: games doesn't matter. That's another topic for today. We'll get
- 1:10Speaker 2: to the college stuff. We've got plenty NFL stuff to
- 1:11Speaker 2: jump into. So let's let's dig in here. First game,
- 1:14Speaker 2: Let's go Philly Washington, a game that you know, Look,
- 1:20Speaker 2: you can take either side of this thing. You can
- 1:21Speaker 2: look at it from the Philly side and say, hey, look,
- 1:23Speaker 2: Jalen Hurts doesn't get hurt. We're on our way to
- 1:25Speaker 2: score in fifty points and we're still in the mix
- 1:28Speaker 2: here for the number one overall, see nothing to worry
- 1:30Speaker 2: about here. Or you could take the Washington side of it,
- 1:33Speaker 2: which is just sheer joy and excitement knowing what you
- 1:37Speaker 2: have in Jayden Daniels and his ability to lead you
- 1:40Speaker 2: back again overcoming all the turnovers. To me, the word
- 1:45Speaker 2: that just keeps coming back to me. You can talk
- 1:47Speaker 2: about the athleticism, you can talk about the you know
- 1:50Speaker 2: enough arm, the accuracy, the playmaking ability. To me, red
- 1:54Speaker 2: it's just poise, Like in these big moments, he's got
- 1:57Speaker 2: tremendous poise and maturity.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Guy, move on, Jalen Carter.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Right there on that run, there were so many of
- 2:05Speaker 1: those plays, uh that were huge. And then you know
- 2:08Speaker 1: their red zone offense, like we this is what I
- 2:11Speaker 1: went back and looked at today. I mean, they just
- 2:14Speaker 1: ate Philly up down there in the red in the
- 2:16Speaker 1: low red zone in particular on some of those plays,
- 2:18Speaker 1: the two two Crowder and then the one to Zakia.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Solamide actually had another one that he broke a couple
- 2:24Speaker 1: of tackles where Philly just got completely they just get
- 2:29Speaker 1: a had a bust and they had like twelve mint
- 2:30Speaker 1: on the field. But I want to go back to
- 2:32Speaker 1: some of these red zone routes. We'll start with the
- 2:33Speaker 1: first one from Crowder and this is a fun one
- 2:37Speaker 1: here he's like the number two guy and the three
- 2:38Speaker 1: man uh you know, three wide receiver side, and he's
- 2:42Speaker 1: got Diami Brown hitting the gas to the flat like
- 2:44Speaker 1: super quick, right. So then Crowder hesitates like he's got
- 2:48Speaker 1: the rub, like he's gonna go back.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Out to the corner right on that rub route.
- 2:51Speaker 1: And then he's got Chauncey Gardner Johnson's hips facing the
- 2:55Speaker 1: sideline and he's going and they're going like this right
- 2:58Speaker 1: and he it was like in no chance and it
- 3:00Speaker 1: was a great throw by Jayden. And then on the
- 3:03Speaker 1: other one. On the next one to Zakias down there,
- 3:05Speaker 1: it's a rub route look right and n Kobe Dean's
- 3:08Speaker 1: kind of in a bind, but they checked to a
- 3:11Speaker 1: coverage here and the field corner Darius Slay and the
- 3:14Speaker 1: strong safety are just completely on different pages because they
- 3:19Speaker 1: don't get the switch, and so Zaki is then this
- 3:22Speaker 1: time the number two in a slot. He does run
- 3:24Speaker 1: that corner route off the rub look and he's wide
- 3:27Speaker 1: open right there to make that catch, and they just
- 3:29Speaker 1: they in. They caused so much like hesitation down there
- 3:33Speaker 1: with the switches that they got going because the third
- 3:36Speaker 1: one was the same thing. The Crowder touchdown at the
- 3:39Speaker 1: very end. It's man coverage here and Zach Bond is
- 3:41Speaker 1: lined up over top of Ertz who was number three,
- 3:44Speaker 1: and then Ertz and Prowder switch immediately off the line,
- 3:48Speaker 1: which puts Crowder on Bond mismatch again hips facing the
- 3:51Speaker 1: wrong way. Crowder cuts inside, and it was just a
- 3:54Speaker 1: great throw and read by Jayden Daniels. But I thought
- 3:56Speaker 1: for from Cliff Kingsbury it was it was nice. It
- 4:00Speaker 1: was a nice like game plan aspect of anticipating what
- 4:02Speaker 1: you were going to see down there in the red
- 4:04Speaker 1: zone and then finding the exact routes that were going
- 4:06Speaker 1: to cause them a little bit of hesitation and confusion,
- 4:09Speaker 1: and then the execution to get it done.
- 4:10Speaker 3: I mean those were three huge touchdowns down there in close. Yeah.
- 4:14Speaker 2: No, well designed, well executed, I would say, on the
- 4:16Speaker 2: Philly side of things, the only thing that concerns me,
- 4:19Speaker 2: And let me give the positives first before I get
- 4:21Speaker 2: to that. Number one is okay, seating in the playoffs.
- 4:25Speaker 2: You'd like to be the number one. You'd like to
- 4:26Speaker 2: get to buy They're a team that's built to travel.
- 4:29Speaker 2: They have a run game, they have a defense. They
- 4:31Speaker 2: should be able to play in any weather, any scenario.
- 4:33Speaker 2: I mean go indoors. They have tons of speed that
- 4:35Speaker 2: they could capitalize on if they were to end up
- 4:38Speaker 2: in Detroit in an NFC championship game. So I'm not
- 4:40Speaker 2: going to get carried away by the seating impact of
- 4:43Speaker 2: this ballgame. They'll get they'll get hurts back, that'll that'll
- 4:46Speaker 2: you know, that'll cover up a lot of issues. But
- 4:49Speaker 2: they've had two of their three losses. Now Atlanta, late
- 4:52Speaker 2: in the game, with with your defense on the field,
- 4:54Speaker 2: you need to get a stop in Kirk Cousins at
- 4:56Speaker 2: the time seems like a million years ago, doesn't it.
- 5:00Speaker 2: It's to drive, they go right down the field, they
- 5:02Speaker 2: cash it and they beat you on this one. Washington
- 5:04Speaker 2: has the ball in their hands or defense down the field,
- 5:06Speaker 2: you got to get a stop. They can't do it.
- 5:08Speaker 2: That's that's playoff football. That's what you're gonna find yourself in.
- 5:11Speaker 2: You're going to find yourself in these drives and these
- 5:13Speaker 2: positions where you've got to get off the field. And
- 5:16Speaker 2: that's Look, it's a small sample size, only three losses,
- 5:19Speaker 2: but two of those three they were unable to do it.
- 5:21Speaker 1: And the other thing I'll say on this side, and
- 5:23Speaker 1: we could talk about, you know how Jalen Hurts being out,
- 5:26Speaker 1: you know, influenced maybe a different approach from the Eagles offensively,
- 5:30Speaker 1: you know down the stretch with with Kenny Pickett in there.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I didn't think Kenny Pickett played poorly by any stretch
- 5:35Speaker 1: that thought. Actually he put them in a position. Look,
- 5:36Speaker 1: this is a dude that watched everything unfold in front
- 5:39Speaker 1: of them the last couple of weeks and targeted aj
- 5:41Speaker 1: Brown about eighteen.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Times he came in. But it's just Kenny Pickett's is a
- 5:45Speaker 3: smart man.
- 5:46Speaker 1: But the other part of it was like they had
- 5:48Speaker 1: a chance to end this game on offense, and credit
- 5:51Speaker 1: to Demon day Store for showing up. It's just dropped it.
- 5:54Speaker 1: I mean, wide open, might even go for a score.
- 5:57Speaker 1: And and you know, so we can say the defense
- 6:00Speaker 1: down it was. There were equal parts to take the
- 6:03Speaker 1: blame on this one. And that's a pass that DeVante
- 6:06Speaker 1: Smith catches ninety nine times out of one hundred. You know,
- 6:09Speaker 1: even if I couldn't worry about that, got it, I wouldn't.
- 6:12Speaker 2: I wouldn't worry about that going going forward. So to me,
- 6:15Speaker 2: I don't know that my opinion drastically changes on the Eagles.
- 6:17Speaker 2: I just give the commanders more credit for finding a
- 6:20Speaker 2: way to win a football game. And they've done it
- 6:23Speaker 2: time and time again this year where they've they've shown
- 6:25Speaker 2: some poise and some moxie with a rookie quarterback. That's
- 6:29Speaker 2: what's so rare and what's so exciting. So I think
- 6:32Speaker 2: there's the turnovers.
- 6:33Speaker 1: When you include the turnover on downs, six turnovers and
- 6:37Speaker 1: I still win the game with thirty plus points.
- 6:39Speaker 2: It was like the Lions against the Texans on that
- 6:42Speaker 2: what was a night game, a primetime game. A few
- 6:44Speaker 2: weeks back, yeah, all right, how about let's stay with
- 6:48Speaker 2: that theme here of seeding. Detroit's in a great spot
- 6:51Speaker 2: now as they defeat the Chicago Bears in a ball game.
- 6:54Speaker 2: They were in control of thirty four to seventeen franchise record.
- 6:57Speaker 2: You see if they're on the screen, thirteenth win. They're
- 7:01Speaker 2: beat up defensively, and they gave up a bunch of yards.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Caleb goes over three hundred. I'll start on the Bear
- 7:07Speaker 2: side of things. I'll kick it over to you for
- 7:09Speaker 2: the Lions and where they're situated. But this we talked
- 7:12Speaker 2: this morning full disclosure, before i'd watched that, and I said,
- 7:15Speaker 2: I'm interested to watch this tape because I feel like
- 7:18Speaker 2: sometimes I look at the box score with Caleb and
- 7:20Speaker 2: the box score gets me excited to go to the tape,
- 7:22Speaker 2: and then I go to the tape and I'm a
- 7:23Speaker 2: little bit let down and a little bit disappointed. I
- 7:27Speaker 2: liked it. I actually liked the way he played in
- 7:28Speaker 2: this game. It's still like they've got to figure out
- 7:31Speaker 2: something of how they start, like the first series, it's
- 7:34Speaker 2: just not clean. But I thought he settled in this game.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Thought he made some nice throws, particularly on some some
- 7:40Speaker 2: movement throws, intermediate throws. Is what's got me hopeful about
- 7:45Speaker 2: him and the Bears moving forward. Is that a lot
- 7:47Speaker 2: of times with young quarterbacks who might be not seeing
- 7:50Speaker 2: the field, well, you're gonna live underneath and over the top,
- 7:53Speaker 2: They're not going to want to work in the in
- 7:54Speaker 2: the in the kind of the intermediate area. He made
- 7:56Speaker 2: some big intermediate throws, you know, mostly to the sideline,
- 7:59Speaker 2: but those are that's the NFL making those types of throws.
- 8:02Speaker 2: So I was encouraged by that. I thought Caleb played well,
- 8:05Speaker 2: and I do think when you look up at the
- 8:07Speaker 2: end of the year, while there's a lot he needs
- 8:09Speaker 2: to clean up in terms of his process and getting
- 8:12Speaker 2: the ball out of your hands and not taking so
- 8:13Speaker 2: many sacks, you're going to look up at the end
- 8:16Speaker 2: of the year and you're gonna be able to sell
- 8:17Speaker 2: hope to your franchise and to your city because his
- 8:20Speaker 2: numbers they're going to look pretty good at the end
- 8:23Speaker 2: of the year compared to what they're used to seeing there.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's you know, especially if you can separate, right,
- 8:29Speaker 1: if you're am bearrass fan, you could separate the wins
- 8:31Speaker 1: and losses from you know, some of the individual performances,
- 8:35Speaker 1: and I know sometimes that's sound coult, but yeah, you're
- 8:37Speaker 1: I think you're spot on with the intermediate routes because
- 8:40Speaker 1: I think it was on that forty five yard touchdown
- 8:42Speaker 1: to Keenan Allen where he threaded the needle. Does that
- 8:44Speaker 1: sound right if I'm remembering correctly, it's down the closing window.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Yeah, down the sideline throw was big time. Yeah, big
- 8:52Speaker 2: time throw.
- 8:52Speaker 3: So I mean there's there's big time that was older.
- 8:55Speaker 2: I was left encouraged. I was left encouraging. And by
- 8:57Speaker 2: the way, did you see the report that as we
- 8:59Speaker 2: get to the Lions that I guess someone was out there.
- 9:01Speaker 2: I don't remember who it was, said that they were
- 9:03Speaker 2: that Ben Johnson was intrigued, I believe was the word. Yeah,
- 9:06Speaker 2: the word bears.
- 9:08Speaker 1: But I think we could also agree that with kleb
- 9:11Speaker 1: it needs to be one two run, not one two, three, four, five, six, seven.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Eight, nine, No, no, and not and not one to
- 9:22Speaker 2: extend create one to run. I don't care if that's
- 9:26Speaker 2: four yards, six yards, twelve yards. Just get what you
- 9:29Speaker 2: can get.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, So talking about the side of things, yeah,
- 9:35Speaker 1: you know, look at it that it's just this is
- 9:38Speaker 1: a Dan Campbell esque victory. Right, you know, your back's
- 9:43Speaker 1: against the wall with personnel, with injuries, you got you know,
- 9:47Speaker 1: and and then you find ways to create big time plays.
- 9:50Speaker 3: And that's what this was. This was one of the
- 9:52Speaker 3: best throws of the year.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Like you can understand, this is ridiculous.
- 9:58Speaker 3: I was nuts. And then this stumble Rooskie.
- 10:01Speaker 1: I did not know this was a thing, and I like,
- 10:05Speaker 1: we were watching this, uh DJ, we were watching this
- 10:07Speaker 1: live with Mark Ross on Game Day Live on NFL Network,
- 10:11Speaker 1: And I'm.
- 10:11Speaker 3: Like, did did they did that?
- 10:13Speaker 1: Because he's had remember this a couple of games ago,
- 10:16Speaker 1: Like he stumbled on a fourth down like sneak or
- 10:19Speaker 1: fourth down handoff almost it.
- 10:20Speaker 3: I thought he just got tripped again.
- 10:22Speaker 1: And and then you go back and look at it
- 10:25Speaker 1: and you're like, no, they meant to actually stumble fake
- 10:28Speaker 1: like they were covered up a fumble and then bam,
- 10:30Speaker 1: Sam Laporta's wide open behind the coverage like this, Ben
- 10:33Speaker 1: Johnson's pulling out all the stops and so yeah, if
- 10:36Speaker 1: you're a Bears fan inside Soldier Field, then you're watching
- 10:38Speaker 1: that and you're like, come on, can we get this
- 10:40Speaker 1: guy over here to our sideline or what? But look,
- 10:45Speaker 1: I credit the Lions again. You know, without David Montgomery,
- 10:48Speaker 1: I thought we might see more Craig Reynolds, we might
- 10:50Speaker 1: see more Sioni Vaki.
- 10:52Speaker 3: But they gave the bell cow role.
- 10:54Speaker 1: To Jamiir Gibbs and he performed, you know, really well
- 10:57Speaker 1: in it, as I guess we should expect. But twenty
- 10:59Speaker 1: three Harry's for Gibbs, you know, it seems like more
- 11:01Speaker 1: than we generally see one hundred and nine yards in
- 11:03Speaker 1: a touchdown. But i'd also I think you credit Antoine
- 11:09Speaker 1: Randall L. You know, no coincidence, he's a Hoosier. But
- 11:13Speaker 1: the job that they've done in mentoring and trying to
- 11:16Speaker 1: aid the maturity of Jamison Williams, I think is pretty important.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Like even within the landscape of this game, like he
- 11:22Speaker 1: got a penalty, Dan Campbell took him aside. He's kind
- 11:25Speaker 1: of coaching him up, and then you saw how fired
- 11:26Speaker 1: up Antoine RANDALLLL was running down the sideline on that
- 11:29Speaker 1: post route. So I think they got a lot going
- 11:32Speaker 1: for him even with the injuries.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Yeah, the exciting thing to me about Jamison is that
- 11:36Speaker 2: when you get into the postseason, it is hard to
- 11:39Speaker 2: string together long drives against the better teams the better
- 11:41Speaker 2: defenses in this league. It helps to be able to
- 11:44Speaker 2: get those chunks, those massive chunks. And as you could
- 11:47Speaker 2: see on that post, he's got elite, elite, elite speed
- 11:51Speaker 2: and he tracks the ball well. He's not someone who
- 11:54Speaker 2: struggles attractive. A lot of times those don't marry up together.
- 11:56Speaker 2: But he's got a chance to be an elite deep threat.
- 11:58Speaker 2: And you know, to me, that's what again we look
- 12:02Speaker 2: towards the postseason. You want to have some of those
- 12:04Speaker 2: quick strike throws and drives and he can provide that
- 12:07Speaker 2: for you. So I think he's someone is what you're
- 12:09Speaker 2: seeing right now. I think when you watch the Lions
- 12:11Speaker 2: go through the postseason, do not be shocked with all
- 12:13Speaker 2: their star players that they have, if he doesn't end
- 12:16Speaker 2: up being like one of their key key guys. You
- 12:19Speaker 2: know you're gonna have games. He could win a game
- 12:20Speaker 2: for you. He catches three for one fifty, you know,
- 12:24Speaker 2: with a couple huge deep balls that wins you a
- 12:27Speaker 2: playoff game. That's valuable. And that's why they're patient with
- 12:31Speaker 2: him with some of the stuff and the issues that
- 12:32Speaker 2: he's had. We're willing to forgive, and we're willing to
- 12:35Speaker 2: learn and We're going to try and grow through this thing.
- 12:38Speaker 2: But so far, so good. As the Lions are marched
- 12:39Speaker 2: towards the number one overall seed, let's stay in the NFC. Well,
- 12:43Speaker 2: I guess I shouldn't say that they're marching towards it
- 12:45Speaker 2: because I feel like I always forget about this team,
- 12:48Speaker 2: Minnesota right there with them in the thirteen and two.
- 12:51Speaker 2: They have it all in front of them. They go
- 12:54Speaker 2: to Seattle and not an easy place to play. It
- 12:56Speaker 2: was lowed they're watching that ball game. I saw a
- 12:59Speaker 2: lot of that on TV, but for getting a chance
- 13:00Speaker 2: to watch it on video, but very loud Rockets environment.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Sam was locked in justin Jefferson. Another huge game. Defensively,
- 13:09Speaker 2: they got turnovers when they needed it. They were able
- 13:11Speaker 2: to heat up, you know, Geno kind of force some
- 13:14Speaker 2: things there By the way, Gino and DK Metcalf not
- 13:17Speaker 2: on that. That is another I'll let you go there
- 13:20Speaker 2: if you want to go there. But they are not
- 13:22Speaker 2: on the same page here, and it's there is a
- 13:24Speaker 2: frustration there that seems to be boiling over with the leader.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Session at the end, Oh my god, at the end
- 13:32Speaker 3: was the was kind of.
- 13:33Speaker 2: The and it's the same issue that it's the DKA
- 13:35Speaker 2: is drifting like but again I put some of that
- 13:38Speaker 2: on the on the play call, like he's not a
- 13:40Speaker 2: precise work back to the quarterback route runner, Like, that's
- 13:44Speaker 2: not him. He is on the move, he is overs,
- 13:47Speaker 2: he is go balls, He has slants, you know, asking
- 13:50Speaker 2: him to run outs and comebacks and curls like, that's
- 13:53Speaker 2: not who he is. I mean, I guess you'd hope
- 13:55Speaker 2: that he would grow into that, but that is not him.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Well.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Yeah, and on the play in particular, I mean, Minnesota
- 14:02Speaker 1: had three guys back there for DK, you know, like
- 14:05Speaker 1: I imagine in his head he's like, oh they no
- 14:08Speaker 1: way Gino's throwing this ball, you know, and he starts
- 14:11Speaker 1: drifting out, which obviously you shouldn't do, you know, run
- 14:14Speaker 1: the route like You're getting the ball no matter what.
- 14:16Speaker 1: But they had two deep guys over him and then
- 14:18Speaker 1: the underneath as well. I mean, it was that play
- 14:21Speaker 1: was kind of doomed from the start because he was
- 14:23Speaker 1: getting pressure too. I understand why Gino let go of it,
- 14:27Speaker 1: but yeah, you'd like to see a little bit more
- 14:29Speaker 1: competitiveness on the end of that route. I'll look at
- 14:32Speaker 1: this because I know you watched justin Jefferson, which was
- 14:35Speaker 1: which I wanted to go back and see that and
- 14:36Speaker 1: see the different ways.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Please, please, by the way, can I just can I
- 14:40Speaker 2: just beg beg koc for one thing, Kevin O'Connell, who
- 14:43Speaker 2: should be in the mix for the Coach of the Year,
- 14:45Speaker 2: give me more Justin Jefferson in the backfield, please, I
- 14:48Speaker 2: want more Justin Jefferson running routes out of the backfield.
- 14:53Speaker 2: A couple of things there. Number one, you can't get
- 14:55Speaker 2: your hands on him. You're not gonna be able to
- 14:57Speaker 2: press him. And number two, you're you're in the backfield.
- 15:00Speaker 2: You're in the dead middle of the field. He has
- 15:03Speaker 2: got so much real estate to work with, and you
- 15:06Speaker 2: saw him in space like good luck, good luck. I
- 15:10Speaker 2: hope we see more of it. I hope more teams
- 15:12Speaker 2: will do that. You'll see them sprinkle guys in there
- 15:13Speaker 2: and usually they'll flare him out. Maybe maybe you give
- 15:17Speaker 2: him an out route like you saw there. But let's
- 15:20Speaker 2: empty the clip man. Let's let him run up the
- 15:21Speaker 2: rail from the backfield. Let's run those option routes. Let's
- 15:24Speaker 2: let let him run the full gamut of routes from
- 15:26Speaker 2: from the backfield. That's what I'm here for.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Also that throw we just saw right there from Darnold's
- 15:32Speaker 1: like step run up in the pocket.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Oh so good, so good.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Yeah, And you know, I went back and first like
- 15:40Speaker 1: five targets for Jefferson, felt like there were five different
- 15:43Speaker 1: looks and five different guys that were, you know, in
- 15:45Speaker 1: the vicinity of where he was.
- 15:47Speaker 3: And so Seahawks are trying to mix it up.
- 15:49Speaker 1: But man, he's he's that good and especially you know,
- 15:52Speaker 1: when you can scheme it up for him the way
- 15:54Speaker 1: that they do pretty special.
- 15:56Speaker 3: So I went and looked at what what.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Brian Flores was doing with one of his new chess
- 16:00Speaker 1: pieces this year, and we've watched it, you know, a bunch,
- 16:04Speaker 1: and we watched him when he was down at Miami.
- 16:05Speaker 1: But Andrew Van ginkle Man, when he gets a runway
- 16:09Speaker 1: the like when when he's either they put him standing
- 16:12Speaker 1: up over a guard, which is like you know, an
- 16:14Speaker 1: athleticism mismatch. If he you know, he gets the drop
- 16:17Speaker 1: on the guard, it's over, uh in terms of you know,
- 16:20Speaker 1: anticipating the snap count. And then when they give him
- 16:22Speaker 1: runway and they'll like kind of twist him in and
- 16:23Speaker 1: run games with him kind of. I mean, it's it's
- 16:27Speaker 1: that kind of speed coming at you man in the interior.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Is it was difficult to deal with for Seattle with
- 16:33Speaker 1: those guys because I know they've been kind of shuffling
- 16:35Speaker 1: guys in and out of the interior that offensive line too,
- 16:37Speaker 1: So made sense that that's where they wanted to try
- 16:39Speaker 1: to attack.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Uh.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Van Ginkle with two sacks on the day, But really
- 16:43Speaker 1: the sacks were you know, relentless effort to like he's
- 16:47Speaker 1: getting pushed or he's getting pushed outside and he kind
- 16:49Speaker 1: of wheels back around and Geno's hanging on to the ball.
- 16:52Speaker 1: So I think it, you know, you credit what they're
- 16:54Speaker 1: doing from a coverage perspective with the relentlessness of guys
- 16:59Speaker 1: like Van Ginkle of front seven pressures in this game,
- 17:02Speaker 1: two of them he brings down Geno Smith. So they
- 17:05Speaker 1: just they got a lot going for him there really
- 17:07Speaker 1: on both sides of the ball. Like this Vikings team,
- 17:10Speaker 1: I'm not counting them out.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Yet as they try to push for better seeding.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Yeah, final thought, final thought, last game of the regular season.
- 17:19Speaker 2: The Detroit Lions welcome in the Minnesota Vikings for what
- 17:23Speaker 2: is likely to be the difference of the number one
- 17:26Speaker 2: seed versus the number five seed and the NFC playoffs.
- 17:36Speaker 2: As we look at a couple of these Saturday matchups,
- 17:38Speaker 2: big games with a lot on the line. Here, Pittsburgh Baltimore.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Baltimore stays alive in the division. You see the records
- 17:44Speaker 2: there now the same with Pittsburgh. Now Pittsburgh still controls it.
- 17:47Speaker 2: So if Pittsburgh wins out, they would win the AFC North.
- 17:51Speaker 2: But Pittsburgh has a game in about three minutes against
- 17:54Speaker 2: the Kansas City Chiefs of Christmas, So not a lot
- 17:58Speaker 2: of rest there coming off of a very physical game
- 18:01Speaker 2: where the Ravens they got after their nemesis a little
- 18:04Speaker 2: bit in this one, thirty four to seventeen.
- 18:05Speaker 4: Right.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Yeah, And look, I think you know, when you look
- 18:09Speaker 1: at this from the Steelers perspective on offense, I think
- 18:13Speaker 1: you'll look at a team that is struggling to find
- 18:17Speaker 1: ways to produce them the perimeter. Without George Pickens and yep,
- 18:24Speaker 1: and Calvin Austin four catches sixty five. It's fine, Jalen
- 18:27Speaker 1: Warren five for forty four, but you have no big
- 18:30Speaker 1: play threat. Mike Williams has not showed up in that
- 18:32Speaker 1: way for this team since his first catch for a touchdown.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Whenever that was. And then you know, Russ just once
- 18:38Speaker 1: that that last throwback to that Marlin Humphrey went for
- 18:41Speaker 1: the pick six that sealed it. But this team meets
- 18:43Speaker 1: George Pickens back just to kind of get things back
- 18:45Speaker 1: on track into a flow with how they want to operate.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it does like they are going to get him
- 18:51Speaker 2: back against the Chiefs. I also believe they're going to
- 18:53Speaker 2: get to Shawn Elliott back, which would be very important.
- 18:56Speaker 2: He's played awesome on the defensive side of the ball.
- 19:00Speaker 2: The Pittsburgh Steelers the Ravens. To me, I was mentioning
- 19:03Speaker 2: it earlier. I think we were talking about Philly and
- 19:04Speaker 2: saying it doesn't really matter where they go playoff wise.
- 19:08Speaker 2: I kind of feel like that way for the Ravens
- 19:10Speaker 2: to they're a chip on their shoulder organization. If they're home,
- 19:13Speaker 2: if they're at home, fine, if they're on the road,
- 19:15Speaker 2: they don't care. They're gonna be able to run the football.
- 19:18Speaker 2: I mean that's where I thought, I don't know, watching
- 19:20Speaker 2: this ball game, I thought a couple of things. Number One,
- 19:23Speaker 2: the points you mentioned about Russ, Yeah, okay, I get that,
- 19:26Speaker 2: but Lamar continues to be locked in. And then Number
- 19:29Speaker 2: two was I just remember late in the year, even
- 19:32Speaker 2: when they had those good teams in Tennessee, it felt
- 19:35Speaker 2: like maybe Dereck Henry, even if the yards were there,
- 19:37Speaker 2: just he looked a little bit heavy legged, like the
- 19:40Speaker 2: toll of the season had kind of started to catch
- 19:42Speaker 2: up with him a little bit. He looked fresh as
- 19:45Speaker 2: a daisy. How many yards of ten plus runs did
- 19:48Speaker 2: he have in this game? It just felt like every
- 19:51Speaker 2: other runs alosive run. Yeah, he just looked, he looked,
- 19:54Speaker 2: he looked. Maybe it's the hair, I don't know. He
- 19:56Speaker 2: just looked fresh. He looked very fresh in this ballgame.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I would agree with you on that.
- 20:03Speaker 1: One other thing, I was curious if if you kind
- 20:05Speaker 1: of caught caught window of like the the coaches box
- 20:09Speaker 1: camera on Todd Monkin. I don't know that they're going
- 20:13Speaker 1: to be a fan of that one moving did you
- 20:15Speaker 1: see Have you seen all the breathing with it? Oh
- 20:18Speaker 1: my gosh, he's going nuts on one of these plays.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I can't remember if it was the interception that Lamar
- 20:23Speaker 1: threw or if it was just a big play that
- 20:25Speaker 1: they missed. And I think he was saying something about
- 20:28Speaker 1: Rashad Bateman, like what is.
- 20:30Speaker 3: He doing what is he doing?
- 20:31Speaker 2: Oh?
- 20:33Speaker 1: You could just you can feel the anxiety right that
- 20:37Speaker 1: just courses through a play callers, you know, veins throughout
- 20:41Speaker 1: those three and a half hours of a game.
- 20:42Speaker 3: Man, it is I have to start.
- 20:45Speaker 2: You can start being in the in the booth with
- 20:47Speaker 2: your with your play sheet over it.
- 20:48Speaker 1: I know, I think seriously, I'm curious, man, you know,
- 20:54Speaker 1: more of that moving forward here. But yeah, it was
- 20:57Speaker 1: they look they got to win, but I think they
- 21:00Speaker 1: left some stuff out there on the table on the
- 21:01Speaker 1: offensive side. I don't know that this was the cleanest
- 21:04Speaker 1: game we've seen Lamar play.
- 21:06Speaker 2: But again enough, yeah, man, I keep an eye on
- 21:11Speaker 2: this division because it looks like we'll see how the
- 21:14Speaker 2: Chargers season unfolds. But that's looking like the winner of
- 21:18Speaker 2: this division likely to be the three seed the Chargers
- 21:21Speaker 2: if everything kind of goes, you know, with them finishing
- 21:24Speaker 2: up with New England and the Raiders, there's a chance
- 21:26Speaker 2: even after this next week that they could be locked
- 21:29Speaker 2: into the sixth seed. So that would be a rematch
- 21:32Speaker 2: either way. Chargers lost to both of those teams in
- 21:35Speaker 2: close games, so that could be where my travels take
- 21:39Speaker 2: me here as we go towards the postseason. Speaking of postseason,
- 21:43Speaker 2: there Houston, Kansas City. Kansas City, just ho hum this one.
- 21:48Speaker 2: I actually had a little breathing room for you know
- 21:50Speaker 2: what that's worth. They don't have many of those. I
- 21:52Speaker 2: tweeted out as Houston had a chance with the ball
- 21:55Speaker 2: in their hands, I think they were down eight, you know,
- 21:59Speaker 2: seven or eight? Yeah, they were down eight late in
- 22:01Speaker 2: this ball game, weren't they.
- 22:02Speaker 1: And then the score is twenty seven to nineteen. That's
- 22:05Speaker 1: why it was in one possession.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that'shy I was throwing me off. But I'm
- 22:09Speaker 2: watching this. I'm watching this game, and I'm staring at it, going, oh,
- 22:12Speaker 2: this is the most predictable thing ever. You're going to see.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Houston's going to go down, They're going to score, They're
- 22:17Speaker 2: going to get the two point conversion. Just to give
- 22:19Speaker 2: them that glimmer of hope, they'll leave a minute thirty
- 22:21Speaker 2: for Mahomes. Mahomes will go down and they'll get they'll
- 22:24Speaker 2: win the game. It'll feature a Mahomes scramble, which all
- 22:27Speaker 2: those game winning drives they altered at some point in time.
- 22:30Speaker 2: This one went off script. And one of the reasons
- 22:32Speaker 2: that went off script is because as great as as
- 22:36Speaker 2: great as Mahomes is. Man, if you look at the
- 22:39Speaker 2: recent iteration of this team, I'm telling you, man, Chris
- 22:43Speaker 2: Jones what he does and the impact he has every
- 22:47Speaker 2: single game, every single week, there's a reason why their
- 22:50Speaker 2: defense is doing what they're doing and spags with the
- 22:52Speaker 2: great design. They have a lot of really really good
- 22:54Speaker 2: football players. I'll put McDuffie in that great category. But
- 22:58Speaker 2: there's one Hall of Famer on that side. That's Chris Jones.
- 23:02Speaker 3: I'm not gonna argue with that.
- 23:04Speaker 1: I mean, that's that is for sure a big piece
- 23:07Speaker 1: of this storyline here really in the last two to
- 23:09Speaker 1: three years for the Chiefs is him elevating and that
- 23:13Speaker 1: defense elevating to become a reason why they win, uh
- 23:16Speaker 1: and not a reason why they lose. And so that's
- 23:19Speaker 1: obviously been a part of it. And you know, I
- 23:20Speaker 1: think you know you're throwing George Carloftis in there too.
- 23:23Speaker 3: And again we've talked about.
- 23:24Speaker 1: The ways that they have drafted for what they want
- 23:26Speaker 1: to do on the defensive side of the ball, and
- 23:28Speaker 1: that is such a homegrown defense from from Chris Jones
- 23:31Speaker 1: to Carloftis to Nick Bolton to the guys in the
- 23:35Speaker 1: back end where they've hit on. It feels like almost
- 23:37Speaker 1: every time, even you know, you lose Lugerius Snead and
- 23:40Speaker 1: you're still finding ways, you know, because of the competitive.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Depth that Josh Williams had a big game.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Yeah, so credit again to to Veitch and Andy and
- 23:50Speaker 1: that whole personnel crew and in the way that they've
- 23:52Speaker 1: found ways to, you know, to really spend the big money,
- 23:57Speaker 1: you know, on Chris Jones and then find ways to
- 24:00Speaker 1: fill in right with with the draft, and that's that's
- 24:02Speaker 1: been huge and they'll have to pay some of these
- 24:04Speaker 1: guys here moving forward.
- 24:05Speaker 3: But I did want to talk a little bit about.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Opposite of the reck you wall for Xavier Worthy, you know,
- 24:11Speaker 2: like he's putting eight on the gas now instead of
- 24:13Speaker 2: slowing down.
- 24:15Speaker 1: It's exactly right. And this is what we saw from
- 24:17Speaker 1: Rashid Rice last year. You remember how he came through
- 24:20Speaker 1: UH and really started to take off in the second
- 24:22Speaker 1: half of the season. And so for Worthy, he was
- 24:24Speaker 1: busy man eleven targets, seven catches. I thought they were
- 24:28Speaker 1: really you know, it wasn't just like, oh hey, let's
- 24:30Speaker 1: throw a little gadget at him here. With Worthy, it
- 24:32Speaker 1: was like they wanted to make him a big part
- 24:34Speaker 1: of the game plan. And look, most of them are
- 24:36Speaker 1: still you know, at the line of scrimmage or behind
- 24:39Speaker 1: the line of scrimmage. But I think the biggest development,
- 24:41Speaker 1: and I think we've talked about this a few times
- 24:43Speaker 1: on the show earlier this season. I can't remember whether
- 24:46Speaker 1: it was this year or whether it's really come in
- 24:48Speaker 1: in the last you know, two or three years. But man,
- 24:52Speaker 1: when you get that, now throw to a player like Worthy,
- 24:55Speaker 1: but you got lead blockers out in front, like just
- 24:58Speaker 1: to get rid of the most dangerous man that is deadly,
- 25:01Speaker 1: And they did on one of those plays.
- 25:03Speaker 3: I think it was only like a fifteen yard game,
- 25:05Speaker 3: but they.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Basically took Houston's best defensive player, Will Anderson out of
- 25:10Speaker 1: the mix. With the backfield action going one way, Worthy
- 25:13Speaker 1: coming in motion the other way, and then two offensive
- 25:16Speaker 1: linemen leading him out in front. Like Will Anderson couldn't
- 25:20Speaker 1: do it. He didn't know what to do. You know,
- 25:21Speaker 1: It's like, do I crash down with the run? Do
- 25:23Speaker 1: I try to deal with and then he's just sitting
- 25:25Speaker 1: there and no man's land, And so you've eliminated with
- 25:28Speaker 1: action one guy, probably their best guy, and then you've
- 25:32Speaker 1: got two guys out in front for Worthy. They did
- 25:33Speaker 1: that a number of times, and he had a couple
- 25:36Speaker 1: like a slant route or you know, man.
- 25:39Speaker 3: If he's also like DJ if you are.
- 25:41Speaker 1: If he's in the slot and you are a slot
- 25:43Speaker 1: defender with inside leverage, it's over. If he runs the
- 25:48Speaker 1: album like you are not nobody's But if you play
- 25:52Speaker 1: outside leverage, they're gonna run mesh and they're gonna make
- 25:54Speaker 1: you weave through all that traffic.
- 25:55Speaker 2: I've seen it. I've seen a bunch of it both
- 25:57Speaker 2: ways this year. The other thing is I'll just add
- 26:00Speaker 2: is let's give Joe Toney some flowers for kicking out
- 26:02Speaker 2: to left tackle and solving what was their achilles heel.
- 26:05Speaker 2: And it goes to the theory of the best five theory.
- 26:08Speaker 2: I've always stated that, and I think we're on the
- 26:10Speaker 2: same page there, which is the versatil. The offensive lineman
- 26:13Speaker 2: is huge because injuries are coming. If they aren't there
- 26:16Speaker 2: right now, they're coming tomorrow. And the ability to have
- 26:19Speaker 2: guys who can play multiple positions allows you to get
- 26:21Speaker 2: your best five on the field. And also, Wyye Morris,
- 26:25Speaker 2: as dreadful as he's been at left tackle, was serviceable
- 26:28Speaker 2: at right tackle. Where he's more comfortable. So, uh, Joe
- 26:31Speaker 2: Toney's ability to kick out, it's what he did in college.
- 26:34Speaker 2: But having guys that can, are we going to make
- 26:36Speaker 2: it very bad? Are We're just gonna make him left
- 26:37Speaker 2: tackle now for the rest of this point? Just make
- 26:40Speaker 2: him a left tackle for the rest of this year.
- 26:43Speaker 2: I am. He's better in DJ Humphries if he you know,
- 26:46Speaker 2: with his injuries situation, if he comes back, I don't
- 26:48Speaker 2: know what his how long the timeline is there, but
- 26:51Speaker 2: Joe Toney is better than him, So uh interesting to
- 26:54Speaker 2: see how that's all come together for them along the
- 26:57Speaker 2: offensive line.
- 26:59Speaker 3: H are all right?
- 27:00Speaker 2: Two NFL Christmas Day games will be live on Netflix
- 27:03Speaker 2: December twenty fifth, starting at one pm Eastern. That's the
- 27:06Speaker 2: Chiefs taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers, followed by the Baltimore
- 27:09Speaker 2: Ravens and the Houston Texans at four point thirty pm Eastern.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Do not miss it all right, Right, this one was
- 27:16Speaker 2: a head scratcher to me. Uh didn't see this coming.
- 27:20Speaker 2: And that is the Dallas Cowboys beating the Bucks twenty
- 27:23Speaker 2: six to twenty four. I had just seen the Bucks
- 27:25Speaker 2: and I was like, holy crud, this offense is is
- 27:29Speaker 2: dial game right now. It's a very interesting team and
- 27:32Speaker 2: with their defense with Todd Bowles as aggressive as they are,
- 27:35Speaker 2: and some of the matchups that they give you up front,
- 27:37Speaker 2: mainly Vita Vea, It's like, I don't know if you
- 27:39Speaker 2: want to play this team in the postseason and you
- 27:41Speaker 2: flip around one week later, and I don't know that
- 27:43Speaker 2: the postseasons, you know, given that's how quickly things can
- 27:46Speaker 2: turn in the NFL. But what a win for coach
- 27:48Speaker 2: McCarthy and the Dallas Cowboys twenty six to twenty four.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Man, you know they're eliminated too, you know, going into
- 27:55Speaker 1: this thing, and it's I just think it's it is
- 27:59Speaker 1: really us of, you know, for a group of guys
- 28:02Speaker 1: and a coaching staff that has been as maligned as
- 28:04Speaker 1: any in the in the league this year to come
- 28:07Speaker 1: out and have that kind of effort against a team that.
- 28:09Speaker 3: Is fighting for everything right in the Bucks.
- 28:12Speaker 1: And look, ultimately, I think for the Bucks, you know,
- 28:16Speaker 1: it just they kick started too late, you know, I mean,
- 28:19Speaker 1: this was they just didn't have it going early. And
- 28:22Speaker 1: you know, credit the guys that have stepped in on
- 28:24Speaker 1: Dallas's defense. I mean, like you heard Chris Collinsworth and
- 28:27Speaker 1: Tarico gushing over Jordan Lewis, you know, throughout the broadcast,
- 28:30Speaker 1: and rightly so. I mean, do played a heck of
- 28:32Speaker 1: a game, including that strip. Oh actually I don't know
- 28:35Speaker 1: think that was him on the strip at the end,
- 28:37Speaker 1: but I'm thinking I had every belief, you know, the
- 28:41Speaker 1: way that the Bucks had been playing going into this
- 28:43Speaker 1: game and then the way that they came alive late,
- 28:46Speaker 1: that they were going to go down and win that game.
- 28:48Speaker 1: And then you know, Baker makes this incredible play to
- 28:51Speaker 1: get free and like just dragging a defender with him,
- 28:54Speaker 1: gets it out to Rashad White. You know they're gonna
- 28:57Speaker 1: and then now the stride is gonna be off and running.
- 28:59Speaker 1: They're gonna have all this momentum and confidence, and bang
- 29:02Speaker 1: he gets that thing stripped out. I just thought that defense,
- 29:05Speaker 1: with all the injuries they've had, man just played really
- 29:07Speaker 1: inspired ball. And I think that says a lot about
- 29:09Speaker 1: the way that their coaches get them rolling. And look
- 29:11Speaker 1: the personal pride that they have.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Yeah, Look, Deron Bland ripped that thing out. So it
- 29:17Speaker 2: was right time place. Yeah, and the secondary for the
- 29:20Speaker 2: Dallas Cowboys a couple of things. I was just looking
- 29:23Speaker 2: at it for next year. And what does the offseason
- 29:26Speaker 2: look like with the Dallas Cowboys. And if you're the
- 29:28Speaker 2: head coach, you know the two people you want in
- 29:31Speaker 2: your corner more than anybody else. Number one is the
- 29:33Speaker 2: owner and number two is the quarterback. And I think
- 29:36Speaker 2: he's This game went a long way to show the
- 29:39Speaker 2: owner that the team has not quit on you. You
- 29:42Speaker 2: have your twelve win seasons that you can sell, you
- 29:44Speaker 2: have your Super Bowl ring with Green Bay that you
- 29:46Speaker 2: can sell, and you have a limited coaching market where
- 29:49Speaker 2: there's not a lot of hot candidates, So that's going
- 29:51Speaker 2: to help you on the coach side of things. In
- 29:53Speaker 2: the quarterback, you already had Dak Prescott's already endorsed him.
- 29:55Speaker 2: So I don't know, that game to me could have
- 29:59Speaker 2: been a uh maybe I won't say job savor because
- 30:02Speaker 2: I would assume that it was gone, but it might
- 30:04Speaker 2: have been a job stealer, you know, Like just I
- 30:06Speaker 2: don't I don't see a change coming there. Maybe you
- 30:08Speaker 2: get make some staff changes, but that's I don't see
- 30:11Speaker 2: that happening.
- 30:12Speaker 1: That's fair, But I mean I do not think that
- 30:15Speaker 1: that is I just have a hard time believing that's
- 30:17Speaker 1: gonna go over very well.
- 30:18Speaker 3: Not like that actually matters in the grand scheme of things.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Jerry Jerry hasn't been a splash guy. That's like the
- 30:25Speaker 2: most misinterpreted thing. I mean, look at like free agency
- 30:29Speaker 2: and big splash stuff and hiring the sexy coach, Like
- 30:32Speaker 2: look at all the coaches that he's hired, and look
- 30:35Speaker 2: at who are these you know, quote unquote prize free
- 30:37Speaker 2: agencies brought. You got to go back to the old
- 30:38Speaker 2: school nineties to find like that's when he was making
- 30:41Speaker 2: the bold moves. Like it was bold. It was Charles Haley,
- 30:44Speaker 2: it was Deon Sanders, Let's let's be bold, you know.
- 30:47Speaker 1: You know, like truly Williams was like the last like
- 30:51Speaker 1: really bold move, like a first and third round pick,
- 30:53Speaker 1: mitey Gallo Loy Williams.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, those kind of things anymore. You know. The
- 31:00Speaker 3: The other thing that I think, you know, we need to.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Make sure we get out there is that, you know,
- 31:03Speaker 1: you have a big old hat tip to Cooper Rush,
- 31:05Speaker 1: like the job that he has done as QB two ditch,
- 31:08Speaker 1: like they they really have not missed a beat offensively.
- 31:12Speaker 1: I mean, I know that he's maybe not as dynamic
- 31:14Speaker 1: as Dak Prescott is, you know, in terms of you know,
- 31:17Speaker 1: maybe arm in some athleticism, but that dude knows how
- 31:21Speaker 1: to play within this offense, and he was. That guy
- 31:24Speaker 1: has earned the right to be one of the highest
- 31:25Speaker 1: paid backups in football, if not the highest paid.
- 31:29Speaker 2: They're a nice job. Let's get to a quarterback making
- 31:31Speaker 2: his starting debut, and that's Pennis Michael Pennock's Atlanta Falcons.
- 31:35Speaker 2: They hammer the lifeless New York Giants who are in
- 31:38Speaker 2: a great position to have the first overall pick in
- 31:40Speaker 2: this draft. Watched all the Pennock stuff this morning. Things
- 31:44Speaker 2: I love about him. His feet are in the ground.
- 31:46Speaker 2: The arm looks as live and as explosive as it
- 31:49Speaker 2: did at the University of Washington. He can reach all
- 31:52Speaker 2: the way out to the perimeter. The ball's got pace.
- 31:55Speaker 2: I mean you could just see it and watch him tape,
- 31:56Speaker 2: just the ball spind like he can't throw it. You know.
- 31:59Speaker 2: He has the interception, which has nothing to do with him.
- 32:03Speaker 2: I mean, that was one of the weirder interceptions you've
- 32:05Speaker 2: ever seen, where Pitts just throws the ball to the defense.
- 32:09Speaker 2: But I thought, you know, this is what he is.
- 32:11Speaker 2: He's a pure pocket passer with a huge arm that
- 32:15Speaker 2: I think protection is going to be big as much
- 32:17Speaker 2: as you like the weapons around him, you know, continue,
- 32:19Speaker 2: If I'm the Atlanta Falcons looking forward, I'm going to
- 32:21Speaker 2: continue every year invest invest, invest in the offensive line.
- 32:25Speaker 2: He's going to be able to make some stars out
- 32:27Speaker 2: of pass catchers because of his arm talent, but you
- 32:30Speaker 2: need to keep him in a nice nest back there.
- 32:32Speaker 2: And that's why I'm going to continue to invest in
- 32:34Speaker 2: that offensive line, which is already a good one.
- 32:37Speaker 3: It is, it is.
- 32:38Speaker 1: And the other thing I would say, though, even still,
- 32:40Speaker 1: I mean, he is probably you know, I don't know
- 32:44Speaker 1: what the best way to describe this is, but two
- 32:46Speaker 1: times the athlete that Kirk Cousins is or was at
- 32:50Speaker 1: this point, like he showed some escapability in there that
- 32:53Speaker 1: I don't think we'd have seen from Kirk Cousins a
- 32:56Speaker 1: couple of different times. And so while yes, he's not
- 32:59Speaker 1: going to give you, Josh, I think he's going to
- 33:01Speaker 1: give you enough just to kind of move around a
- 33:04Speaker 1: little bit if he has to to get out there.
- 33:07Speaker 3: And man, it is it is.
- 33:08Speaker 1: It's just to me, it's like it's a beautiful thing
- 33:10Speaker 1: to watch the lefty throw it like and make it
- 33:13Speaker 1: it look that pretty with it you know, I think
- 33:15Speaker 1: a lot of times over the ball comes out of
- 33:16Speaker 1: the lefty's hand, it looks a little funky, but man,
- 33:19Speaker 1: his is such a pretty ball.
- 33:21Speaker 3: It is so easy to watch. And we just got
- 33:23Speaker 3: to get Kyle Pitts to hang on to the football
- 33:24Speaker 3: here a little bit.
- 33:25Speaker 2: We're talking about much better than no question, yea, a
- 33:27Speaker 2: couple of drops talk about. I know I'm not gonna
- 33:30Speaker 2: talk about the Giants, that's too depressing. But I was
- 33:32Speaker 2: watching Pennix on the heels of last weekend thinking about
- 33:35Speaker 2: my friend Rhett and going could have used him. He
- 33:37Speaker 2: used him at Notre Dame. Tell you that much.
- 33:40Speaker 3: Yeah, that's fair.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Oh well, hey, best game. I'm coming off of a
- 33:46Speaker 2: losing season and app so I got nothing to say
- 33:48Speaker 2: there Rams Jets. The Rams just kind of slogged their
- 33:52Speaker 2: way to a win. Ugly game, but uh, you know
- 33:55Speaker 2: this is as you see the note there on the screen,
- 33:57Speaker 2: feer than ten points allowed in consecutive games for the
- 33:59Speaker 2: first time twenty fifteen. The Jets are kind of a mess,
- 34:03Speaker 2: but there are some good players over there, and the
- 34:05Speaker 2: Rams defense continues to play well.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think again that that's a growth process, right,
- 34:11Speaker 1: you're talking about a first year coordinator in Chris Shula.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Now he's been there for for a while.
- 34:17Speaker 1: And imagine there's some there's some things that they're doing
- 34:19Speaker 1: that are certainly familiar going.
- 34:21Speaker 3: Back to years past.
- 34:22Speaker 1: But I think that they've come up with some big
- 34:24Speaker 1: games defensively. Like we talk a lot about the way
- 34:27Speaker 1: that the offense finds ways to win with Kyen Williams
- 34:29Speaker 1: and Cooper, Cooper, Cup and Pooka and Akua, but I
- 34:33Speaker 1: think that they have that that defense has come up huge.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Like I think about turnover on downs early in the
- 34:39Speaker 1: game watching this thing live, that that was huge that
- 34:42Speaker 1: allowed the Rams go down and score. I thought that
- 34:45Speaker 1: based off what we saw Aaron Rodgers, do you know
- 34:49Speaker 1: last week with Devonte Adams, I thought they challenged Rogers
- 34:53Speaker 1: in that pass game in.
- 34:55Speaker 3: A pretty good way.
- 34:55Speaker 1: I think a Kella Witherspoon made a couple of big
- 34:57Speaker 1: plays knocking some balls away, and well, this wasn't the
- 35:00Speaker 1: most prolific game we've seen from the Rams offense. This
- 35:02Speaker 1: is one you chalk up to the defense finding a
- 35:05Speaker 1: way to put them in position to win that game.
- 35:07Speaker 3: And sometimes you got to have those especially.
- 35:10Speaker 2: I want to give you I want to give you
- 35:11Speaker 2: one Jets thought and then and then we can keep
- 35:14Speaker 2: the train moving here. But I was just thinking about this.
- 35:16Speaker 2: You know, all the people that they're interviewing, Our buddy
- 35:18Speaker 2: Jim Naggy from the recent Senior Bowl interviewed there. Yeah,
- 35:22Speaker 2: I saw Lewis Riddicks's name mentioned Dimitrovs. They've already interviewed
- 35:26Speaker 2: a bunch of guys that are available right that are
- 35:29Speaker 2: available right now. So you know what that tells me
- 35:32Speaker 2: this is going to be an exhaustive search. And I
- 35:35Speaker 2: was just thinking about you know, there's the article that
- 35:37Speaker 2: comes out in the Athletic that just kind of trashes
- 35:40Speaker 2: the whole culture and organization there. So this next hire
- 35:45Speaker 2: for the Jets needs to be ah a confidence inducing
- 35:51Speaker 2: higher for their entire fan base and for the for
- 35:54Speaker 2: their entire organization. It needs to be something that brings credibility, right.
- 35:57Speaker 2: They need That's what they need more than anything else.
- 35:59Speaker 2: So if you're doing an.
- 36:00Speaker 1: EAGEH on the G really on both, but I would
- 36:04Speaker 1: say the GM side first and foremost right as someone
- 36:06Speaker 1: who's going to be the leader over the organization.
- 36:09Speaker 2: So I was sitting there thinking about it, going, Okay, well,
- 36:11Speaker 2: if you're going to be creative, and you're interviewing all
- 36:13Speaker 2: these people from all different areas, and you're going to
- 36:14Speaker 2: do an exhaustive search of the candidates once the season ends.
- 36:17Speaker 2: That are with other teams. We always talk about coach trades.
- 36:20Speaker 2: We've heard of, oh maybe McVeigh, maybe somebody will trade
- 36:22Speaker 2: a pick for Kyle Shanahan. You know we've seen that,
- 36:25Speaker 2: and we have seen coach trades in the past. I'm
- 36:28Speaker 2: just throwing this is no there's no information here, but
- 36:30Speaker 2: this is just like a thought that popped into my
- 36:32Speaker 2: head was if you're looking for credibility, Howie Roseman has
- 36:36Speaker 2: probably you know, the reputation of a top three general
- 36:40Speaker 2: manager in the NFL. I mean they're in the postseason
- 36:42Speaker 2: every year, he's won a Super Bowl, He's been to
- 36:44Speaker 2: another Super Bowl. How Roseman is from that area. I
- 36:48Speaker 2: have to double check that, but I believe so. But
- 36:50Speaker 2: that would be someone who would bring you instant credibility. Now,
- 36:54Speaker 2: why would Jeffrey Lourie ever let him leave? That's a
- 36:56Speaker 2: great question. But if you're going to be thorough, as
- 36:59Speaker 2: they're showing that they want to be thorough through this process,
- 37:01Speaker 2: and you're trying to recapture your reputation. Is that something
- 37:04Speaker 2: you would entertain it. If it's not how we maybe
- 37:06Speaker 2: it's somebody else.
- 37:07Speaker 1: You know.
- 37:08Speaker 2: First thing I would do is I would call Ozzie
- 37:10Speaker 2: Newsom and say name your price. You know, come out
- 37:13Speaker 2: of your semi retirement. I know you're still around the raven.
- 37:16Speaker 2: We need we need credibility. We need somebody to come
- 37:19Speaker 2: in here that know, our fans are not going to
- 37:21Speaker 2: question who can help us get the right coach in here,
- 37:23Speaker 2: figure out the quarterback situation and get us going. But
- 37:26Speaker 2: that that was my thought. If we talk about trades
- 37:29Speaker 2: with coaches, we never think about trades with general managers.
- 37:32Speaker 1: That's a good thought because the obviously the other route
- 37:35Speaker 1: is like and we've seen this, you know time and
- 37:37Speaker 1: time again, is you go find you know, the number
- 37:39Speaker 1: two behind you know some of the best gms, right,
- 37:42Speaker 1: you go find you know, when Joe Douglas you know,
- 37:44Speaker 1: left to go to the Jets, you know is obviously
- 37:46Speaker 1: highly regarded in Philly, or you know what what do
- 37:50Speaker 1: we have with with you know the underneath Rett Veach
- 37:54Speaker 1: in Kansas City trying to go find you know.
- 37:55Speaker 3: That next guy. But yeah, if you're the Jets and
- 38:00Speaker 3: you've got to gone that route.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Now, maybe you want to go get the guy instead
- 38:03Speaker 1: of the next guy's good.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Yeah, So I was just, yeah, I don't know, I
- 38:07Speaker 2: don't know what that would even look like, but I
- 38:08Speaker 2: was just thinking about that. Yeah, I don't know. That
- 38:11Speaker 2: was again. I just wanted to throw that out there,
- 38:12Speaker 2: put it out on the ether, and see if that's
- 38:14Speaker 2: not the craziest thing that you've ever heard. I don't know.
- 38:16Speaker 2: We'll see what happens there. But the Rams, they're they're
- 38:19Speaker 2: in great They're in a great spot here as they
- 38:22Speaker 2: try and march towards the postseason. All right, This Saturday,
- 38:26Speaker 2: it's a triple header exclusively on NFL Network. Chargers Patriots.
- 38:30Speaker 2: I'll be there one pm Eastern, Broncos Bengals. That follows
- 38:34Speaker 2: at four pm Eastern, and then we finish it off
- 38:37Speaker 2: with the Cardinals Rams at eight pm Eastern this Saturday,
- 38:40Speaker 2: only on NFL Network and streaming on NFL Plus. Subscription
- 38:45Speaker 2: required for NFL Plus. Time for a little rapid fire
- 38:52Speaker 2: here on the remaining games. Heret Cleveland, Cincinnati, the Joe
- 38:56Speaker 2: Burrow Express, Still live, Baby, still live.
- 39:01Speaker 3: And you don't want to see this team.
- 39:02Speaker 1: I know that that is a popular phrase right now
- 39:05Speaker 1: baseduff the fact that the Chargers beat the Broncos, which
- 39:07Speaker 1: allowed the Bengals in here.
- 39:08Speaker 3: They gotta win out. They got to hope for some help.
- 39:10Speaker 1: But man, when Joe Burrow is making throws like this
- 39:13Speaker 1: one here to T Higgins in which he is literally
- 39:16Speaker 1: on the ground, like an inch above the ground, making
- 39:19Speaker 1: a spot on throw to Tea, t Higgins said that
- 39:22Speaker 1: that was that was his favorite touchdown he's ever seen
- 39:24Speaker 1: Joe throw, and not because he was throwing it to him.
- 39:27Speaker 3: It's because he looked like Superman on the play, not Batman. Superman.
- 39:30Speaker 3: So that's what he's calling him from now on. That's
- 39:33Speaker 3: what he is.
- 39:33Speaker 1: He is Superman and this Bengals team and don't let
- 39:36Speaker 1: him in. They do not let that team into the tournament.
- 39:39Speaker 1: But I do miss for the Browns. We got to
- 39:42Speaker 1: get Jamis back in there, man, we got to get
- 39:44Speaker 1: It's just.
- 39:44Speaker 2: It's just more fun. That's a more watchable product for
- 39:47Speaker 2: both sides, you know, when he's out there. But I
- 39:50Speaker 2: was looking at that thinking, if you're a Bengals fan,
- 39:52Speaker 2: do you start like a GoFundMe and just like you're
- 39:56Speaker 2: getting just like some extra treatment, maybe some ice bats
- 39:59Speaker 2: for cars Wentz knowing that your season is going to
- 40:01Speaker 2: come down to Carson Wentz starting for the Kansas City
- 40:04Speaker 2: Chiefs against the Raiders in a game that you know,
- 40:07Speaker 2: I don't think the Raiders would necessarily be thrilled to
- 40:10Speaker 2: win that when it comes to draft position, but I
- 40:12Speaker 2: don't think you're going to see Patrick Mahomes, Kelsey and
- 40:14Speaker 2: Chris Jones and all the starters for the Chiefs if
- 40:17Speaker 2: they have their position locked up. That's all they're gonna
- 40:19Speaker 2: need because they played Denver. So you control your own destiny,
- 40:22Speaker 2: plus Carson Wentz, That's how I'm looking at it. With
- 40:25Speaker 2: the Cincinnati Bengals, that's that gets them into the playoffs.
- 40:27Speaker 2: And then if you're Buffalo, congratulations, unbelievable year. You guys
- 40:30Speaker 2: are cooking, and now you've got to play against that
- 40:33Speaker 2: savage Joe Burrow in the first round of the playoffs.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Like what a reward? Yeah no, no, I don't want
- 40:40Speaker 2: that either New England and Buffalo. Speaking of Buffalo, this
- 40:43Speaker 2: game was close for a long time, I mean very close,
- 40:48Speaker 2: ends up just being a three point game. Drake May
- 40:50Speaker 2: was excellent, They got out the shoots. It was fourteen
- 40:52Speaker 2: to nothing in this ball game, they're moving the ball well,
- 40:56Speaker 2: Buffalo couldn't couldn't get it. Going to England's defense has been,
- 40:59Speaker 2: you know, playing well, but to me, Drake attacking like
- 41:02Speaker 2: not playing conservative. You know, when he gets matchups he
- 41:06Speaker 2: wants he's going to attack down the field, which was
- 41:09Speaker 2: fun to watch there. And I'm still looking at it
- 41:11Speaker 2: going like I don't know what all he hasn't around him,
- 41:14Speaker 2: Like you got Booty, You've got uh, You've got Hunter Henry.
- 41:19Speaker 2: I like Hunter as a solid player, but not great
- 41:22Speaker 2: up front yet. Ramondre Stevenson is a solid player, but
- 41:26Speaker 2: man Paul going to be This is gonna be fun
- 41:29Speaker 2: in New England if they get some pieces around him,
- 41:31Speaker 2: And where they're situated in the draft right now, they've
- 41:34Speaker 2: got a chance to get some big time pieces around.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Him, no doubt, especially considering where the quarterback. You know
- 41:39Speaker 1: how the quarterbacks fall, you know early on with the
- 41:42Speaker 1: teams that.
- 41:42Speaker 2: Are going to going to get the best non quarterback
- 41:44Speaker 2: in front. Yeah, how about Arizona Carolina? The fighting Bryce Young's.
- 41:50Speaker 1: Man patients patience is a virtue in this league with quarterbacks,
- 41:54Speaker 1: and credit credit certainly to what Dave Canalis has done there.
- 41:59Speaker 1: And I think we might look back on this, you know,
- 42:02Speaker 1: early on in the way that they approached Bryce, you know,
- 42:05Speaker 1: by pulling pulling it back a little bit and say,
- 42:07Speaker 1: all right, we got to take a step back here.
- 42:08Speaker 1: This is things are things are not happening the way
- 42:10Speaker 1: that you know. They're happening too fast for you. You're
- 42:13Speaker 1: not seeing it the way you need to be seeing it.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Let's pull it back here a little bit. Let's let's
- 42:17Speaker 1: you know, essentially, let you settle down, and then we
- 42:20Speaker 1: you know, he gets back into the line up, probably
- 42:22Speaker 1: not the way that they had thought he was gonna
- 42:23Speaker 1: get back into the line up with the injury, but man,
- 42:25Speaker 1: he has played so much better. And you know what
- 42:27Speaker 1: he did in this game, and he was running I
- 42:29Speaker 1: feel like we haven't seen him run like this, the
- 42:31Speaker 1: way that he ran in this game, and not because
- 42:32Speaker 1: like he had to, you know, like he was running
- 42:34Speaker 1: for his life. He did scramble here a couple of times,
- 42:37Speaker 1: but it was this was a much better product. And man,
- 42:41Speaker 1: did the Panthers have They accentuated what they have in
- 42:45Speaker 1: Chewba Hubbard and like that, He's like they got a
- 42:48Speaker 1: running they got their running back, they got their quarterback.
- 42:51Speaker 1: They need to go get those targets. I'd love to
- 42:54Speaker 1: see him get you know, maybe just David Sanders comes
- 42:56Speaker 1: back and shows up as a as a big time
- 42:58Speaker 1: tight end for him, but they got we get more
- 43:00Speaker 1: targets for him and more protection up front.
- 43:03Speaker 2: Yeah, so you're saying maybe Tyler warn there would look.
- 43:06Speaker 3: Fun a real nice spot for him right there.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Yeah, he's one of those rare tight ends that's as
- 43:13Speaker 2: popular in the running back room as he is in
- 43:15Speaker 2: the quarterback room. Usually with tight ends the way it
- 43:18Speaker 2: is right now, very popular with quarterbacks, not so much
- 43:20Speaker 2: with running backs. He helps both. All right, San Francisco, Miami,
- 43:24Speaker 2: are you ready for the off season storyline of should
- 43:27Speaker 2: we or should we not pay Brock Party? Because it's coming?
- 43:30Speaker 2: Oh good?
- 43:32Speaker 1: I mean you got to right. I mean, like the
- 43:34Speaker 1: grass ain't always greener. On the other side, DJ, you're
- 43:36Speaker 1: six and nine, we're not going to get a top quarterback.
- 43:39Speaker 1: I mean, do we feel like we're gonna be able
- 43:40Speaker 1: to lure Sam Donald back here? Like?
- 43:41Speaker 3: Otherwise what are we doing?
- 43:42Speaker 4: Not?
- 43:43Speaker 3: They're going they're gonna sign Rock Party?
- 43:45Speaker 2: Yeah they are. And it's again it's someone who likes
- 43:49Speaker 2: Sam Donald who you just mentioned the support matters. There's
- 43:54Speaker 2: only a couple guys that it doesn't. It's you know,
- 43:57Speaker 2: so I think we need to set healthy bit of that, like, well,
- 44:01Speaker 2: you know, he's only good if he has this, this,
- 44:02Speaker 2: and this. Yeah, we'll go get this, this and this.
- 44:04Speaker 2: That's your job. Put those pieces around him. And he's
- 44:07Speaker 2: proven he can take you to the super Bowl. So
- 44:11Speaker 2: that's the challenge there. And I'm with you. I do
- 44:13Speaker 2: think he gets paid. I don't know that you're gonna
- 44:15Speaker 2: feel comfortable writing that check. You're probably not gonna love
- 44:17Speaker 2: writing that check. You're gonna write that check, Yes you are.
- 44:20Speaker 2: I'll be shocked if I'll be shocked if they don't.
- 44:23Speaker 2: But that was a game that kept the Miami Dolphins
- 44:26Speaker 2: alive at seven and eight, still ticking as we have
- 44:29Speaker 2: two weeks of the season left. I guess we can't
- 44:32Speaker 2: read too much into matchups that Coming off of a
- 44:35Speaker 2: Sunday nighter where the Cowboys showed a lot of fight
- 44:37Speaker 2: and knocked off the Tampa Bay Bucks, who had everything
- 44:39Speaker 2: to play for. This looks on the surface like a
- 44:42Speaker 2: game the Green Bay Packers as they welcome, and the
- 44:44Speaker 2: Saints should be in cruise control rat but the NFL's
- 44:47Speaker 2: taught us we can't assume anything.
- 44:50Speaker 1: Yeah, looking the Saints are pulling out all the stops.
- 44:53Speaker 1: This is what I got for you on this game.
- 44:55Speaker 1: The Saints quarterbacks, it sounds like I think Spencer Rattler's
- 44:58Speaker 1: getting the start, are spending time in the freezer of
- 45:04Speaker 1: the cafeteria on site. So I think they're gonna throw
- 45:10Speaker 1: for three fifty tonight.
- 45:11Speaker 3: That's right.
- 45:11Speaker 2: Are they punching the are they punching the slab of
- 45:13Speaker 2: meat in there? Like? What what are we doing inside
- 45:15Speaker 2: that inside that freezer?
- 45:18Speaker 3: It's a great question. Uh, probably just talking about how
- 45:21Speaker 3: quick we can get out of here is what I
- 45:22Speaker 3: would be what I would be thinking in that moment.
- 45:25Speaker 3: But yeah, look it's gonna be cold.
- 45:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, you know it is, and you know
- 45:29Speaker 1: for the Saints, look kind of playing out the string
- 45:32Speaker 1: here down the stretch. But uh, you know, an opportunity, uh,
- 45:35Speaker 1: you know to kind of find some good vibes and
- 45:37Speaker 1: and watch some some young.
- 45:38Speaker 3: Guys, you know, try to make some plays for them.
- 45:40Speaker 3: But they got a lot of work to do this offseason.
- 45:43Speaker 2: Can I can I call an audible instead of previewing
- 45:45Speaker 2: the remainder of this ball game?
- 45:48Speaker 3: Sure.
- 45:49Speaker 2: Uh, so we have on the show here. If you've
- 45:52Speaker 2: listened or watched the show for years, we've been in
- 45:54Speaker 2: this over a decade.
- 45:55Speaker 3: Uh.
- 45:56Speaker 2: Someone who served the show for eight years of that
- 45:58Speaker 2: has been the Bill, who's been our producer, who's put
- 46:03Speaker 2: in a ton of work with us. Nobil is moving on,
- 46:06Speaker 2: he's got a chance, he got a great opportunity, so
- 46:08Speaker 2: he's going to uh this is going to be it
- 46:10Speaker 2: for him. So this is our final day working with Nobil,
- 46:12Speaker 2: who's been awesome, and we're excited for him and his
- 46:15Speaker 2: new opportunity. So we wanted to wanted to get him something.
- 46:19Speaker 2: He's our packer punk, right, we always joke with him
- 46:22Speaker 2: about being the packer Homer. So we got him a
- 46:27Speaker 2: We got him a little Jordan Love Jersey to uh
- 46:31Speaker 2: to send him off with things. That's a little gift
- 46:33Speaker 2: card as well, a little something extra there go get
- 46:35Speaker 2: something to eat. But we do want to take the
- 46:38Speaker 2: time here and and uh and thank the Bill for
- 46:41Speaker 2: eight years that he's given to the pod and someone
- 46:44Speaker 2: who's been selfless, who's worked long hours, you know, editing,
- 46:49Speaker 2: helping us with getting topics together, coordinating everything. So UH
- 46:54Speaker 2: just want to say a huge huge shout out, huge
- 46:57Speaker 2: thanks to nobil. If you've there, he is with his
- 46:59Speaker 2: Jordan Love jersey, so we can see you there.
- 47:03Speaker 3: It is great hair on him.
- 47:06Speaker 2: Yeah, he's got a great got a great head of hair.
- 47:09Speaker 3: That's fantastic Jersey. He's not so if you sleep in
- 47:12Speaker 3: that thing, if.
- 47:14Speaker 2: You followed the pod for a long time, what you've
- 47:17Speaker 2: been doing this a long time? Going to be reunited
- 47:19Speaker 2: with Sully by the way, another former Move to six
- 47:22Speaker 2: podcast producers.
- 47:23Speaker 3: So yeah, you know we put him in the Hall
- 47:25Speaker 3: of Fame, don't we. You know we had great.
- 47:27Speaker 2: Yeah, No, he's gonna be great ones here. Yeah, they
- 47:30Speaker 2: all move on to bigger and better things. The Bill.
- 47:32Speaker 2: You gonna give us some final words here before you
- 47:35Speaker 2: before you leave on us.
- 47:37Speaker 3: It's not go pack go. I don't want to hear it.
- 47:39Speaker 2: What what are your final thoughts here in the bill
- 47:41Speaker 2: on the final day? Here we have tears? Do we
- 47:43Speaker 2: wake up a little misty eye today? What do we got?
- 47:46Speaker 4: Well, I'm hoping a packer super Bowl. But you know,
- 47:49Speaker 4: learned so much working with you guys, And this was
- 47:52Speaker 4: the first podcast I used to listen to, so it's
- 47:55Speaker 4: I've really grown my working with you guys, So I
- 47:57Speaker 4: really appreciate you guys for everything.
- 47:59Speaker 2: Look at that a little baby face. He was just
- 48:02Speaker 2: a little baby face with no facial hair back in
- 48:04Speaker 2: the day. Now he's a full grin bear. Look at
- 48:06Speaker 2: that guy. It's a grizzled, a grizzled veteran. All right,
- 48:10Speaker 2: the bill, uh, get back to work. We have one
- 48:12Speaker 2: more show to do. Get back to work, shut it down,
- 48:17Speaker 2: all right? Any yeah, there you go. We love the
- 48:19Speaker 2: bil and and thank him for all the great work
- 48:22Speaker 2: that he's done here. Hope you guys have enjoyed this episode.
