- 0:05Speaker 1: Casey's first time have you ever yelled sports with us?
- 0:08Speaker 2: No?
- 0:09Speaker 1: No, let's let you do it by yourself. You deserve
- 0:11Speaker 1: this case Oh yeah, this is Casey by himself. So
- 0:13Speaker 1: during the gap, you yell sports.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Okay, do you know what gap we're talking about? No?
- 0:18Speaker 1: Okay, what's on you to find it? Okay, ready to go, Mike,
- 0:25Speaker 1: Podcast Call twenty fives Sports. No, wow, wow, okay you
- 0:38Speaker 1: heard it? No, now now I heard it?
- 0:39Speaker 2: Okay.
- 0:40Speaker 1: He was looking at us like I was like, wait, man,
- 0:43Speaker 1: what's going on?
- 0:43Speaker 3: And go? All right?
- 0:49Speaker 1: Podcast Call twenty fives Stocking Sports.
- 0:52Speaker 4: Yes, and they whizz.
- 0:54Speaker 2: So, yeah, it's too bad, but what did you expect.
- 0:58Speaker 1: It's a podcast twenty five wits.
- 1:01Speaker 5: So.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Welcome, Maddie blow it.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 1:07Speaker 1: I'm going to start with me getting triggered on Twitter. Well,
- 1:12Speaker 1: it wasn't that bad. Some times that I get triggered,
- 1:15Speaker 1: it gets really bad.
- 1:16Speaker 2: They talk about the hogs.
- 1:17Speaker 4: No pickleball.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Oh yeah, so I have these meta glasses that I
- 1:25Speaker 1: was wearing during pickleball yesterday, and I would just turn
- 1:27Speaker 1: them on at times the prescription. So it took a
- 1:29Speaker 1: while to get in. But you can just hit a
- 1:31Speaker 1: button and it records. Now you can't record like an hour,
- 1:33Speaker 1: but you can record, you know, fifteen seconds there, thirty
- 1:36Speaker 1: seconds there. And so George Burge was over yesterday. We're
- 1:38Speaker 1: hitting the pickle ball and I wrote first day back
- 1:41Speaker 1: with the pickle plan on going pro this year in singles,
- 1:44Speaker 1: using meta glasses for improvement notes and really I was
- 1:48Speaker 1: just showing how cold the glasses are.
- 1:50Speaker 6: And so.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Jason Miller says, you need to come up to the
- 1:53Speaker 1: net if you plan out being a serious player. Okay,
- 1:56Speaker 1: shut up, Jason.
- 1:57Speaker 2: He was talking about your placement on the court, like
- 1:59Speaker 2: we're you're standing.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Also, I'm just hitting the ball right, It doesn't matter.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I said, you ain't serious. You're playing that doubles we
- 2:04Speaker 1: wee life. I'm playing a man's version.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Nice got him.
- 2:08Speaker 1: And then some guy named Jason Scott Wrestling comes in
- 2:11Speaker 1: after that and goes, any good player would come up
- 2:13Speaker 1: to the net and singles and pick you apart, find
- 2:14Speaker 1: some real competition. Dang, And I said, you talk a
- 2:17Speaker 1: lot about looking at your pictures. You don't do anything athletic. Well,
- 2:20Speaker 1: and I wrote that before you even looked at his pictures.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Is he ripped?
- 2:25Speaker 1: No, But I think he's like a wrestling coach or something.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Oh okay, he definitely was some sort of athlete.
- 2:30Speaker 3: I don't know that.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I just say that I'm just in the let me
- 2:32Speaker 1: trigger them back mode at that point, because I'm just
- 2:35Speaker 1: hitting a ball. I didn't even say we're like in
- 2:37Speaker 1: the middle of a game. We're just smacking the ball, agatting.
- 2:40Speaker 1: We're playing a little more than a game. I mean
- 2:42Speaker 1: a little less in a little more than getting loose,
- 2:44Speaker 1: but a little less than a game because we're just
- 2:46Speaker 1: first time back. So we're just getting some reps in.
- 2:49Speaker 1: And so he writes, huh, I was a D one
- 2:51Speaker 1: athlete for four years. Oh boy, So I say, I'll
- 2:53Speaker 1: play you. I'll come to you one thousand dollars. Money
- 2:56Speaker 1: needs to be put in an account before I get there.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I'll do the same.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Did you see where he lived?
- 3:00Speaker 1: Yeah, a lot of stuff was Ohio based on his pictures,
- 3:03Speaker 1: So we can get there. So he says, man, you're triggered. Well,
- 3:07Speaker 1: first of all, you must have been triggered to right
- 3:09Speaker 1: under someone's random video talking garbage about their pickleball game.
- 3:14Speaker 1: He said, let's go come up to Cleveland, let's play
- 3:17Speaker 1: home court. Is Lifetime Fitness any weekend in April. Last
- 3:20Speaker 1: time Tennessee came up north, we saw what happened. I'm
- 3:23Speaker 1: not a Valls fan. Okay, that doesn't affect me. Lord,
- 3:28Speaker 1: So like I'm in.
- 3:31Speaker 2: You're representing Tennessee.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Man, No, I'm representing me. I'm not represented Cleveland.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Does he does in his Why does he come to you?
- 3:38Speaker 1: Oh? I guess because you know I said I'll come
- 3:40Speaker 1: to him. But but I'm not going up there until
- 3:42Speaker 1: his money is in an account. So if he wants
- 3:44Speaker 1: and I may lose, I don't know how to go
- 3:46Speaker 1: to you guys, I may lose, but this is I'm
- 3:48Speaker 1: willing to do it.
- 3:49Speaker 2: This is fun.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Yeah, so I'm gonna respond right now.
- 3:53Speaker 4: I'm in.
- 3:57Speaker 1: The money needs to be I gotta make sure I
- 3:59Speaker 1: go up on a weekend in April. The money needs
- 4:02Speaker 1: to be deposited in an account first, because I don't
- 4:11Speaker 1: want you no showing.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Yeah, that's like the Annie.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I'll do the same.
- 4:19Speaker 4: Deal.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Send what's the amount?
- 4:23Speaker 1: That's awesome?
- 4:25Speaker 2: We need to check with Lifetime Fitness to you have
- 4:26Speaker 2: a membership. Do we need to get your membership?
- 4:28Speaker 4: He probably get a date.
- 4:29Speaker 1: He'll probably bring me a guest to make sure you
- 4:32Speaker 1: get go all the way to Cleveland.
- 4:33Speaker 2: You can get in there, but.
- 4:34Speaker 1: We'd probably find a different court we could play on though,
- 4:37Speaker 1: because they may not let me bring all you guys.
- 4:40Speaker 4: Because we have to go in with to shoot it.
- 4:41Speaker 2: He can't have five guests.
- 4:44Speaker 4: He may have like his people there. I need my
- 4:46Speaker 4: people there.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I'm looking. I'm just gonna be real honest here. I'm
- 4:50Speaker 1: going to his page and it's a bunch I think
- 4:54Speaker 1: he's a wrestling coach, but I don't see him. I
- 4:58Speaker 1: just see a bunch of like wrestling kids. But anyway,
- 5:03Speaker 1: I wasso triggered. I was just like, let's just throw
- 5:04Speaker 1: money at it and go down.
- 5:06Speaker 4: So I don't know.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Did he say what is what his sport was?
- 5:09Speaker 1: It has to be wrestling because he's a wrestling coach.
- 5:12Speaker 2: But you're playing pickleball, so okay whatever.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, See if you can find him Jason Scott,
- 5:20Speaker 1: See if you can find like.
- 5:20Speaker 2: His background as uh you're looking up because.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Sports Jason Scott Wrestling is his Twitter. It's under Scott
- 5:27Speaker 1: Underscore Wrestling but see if you can find him, like
- 5:30Speaker 1: wrestling at Ohio State or something. I'm not scared. This
- 5:33Speaker 1: is awesome and I think it would be a fun
- 5:35Speaker 1: bit to do too. And if I lose, I will
- 5:38Speaker 1: take and I will tip my hat to somebody who
- 5:40Speaker 1: talked crap, because most people to talk crap can't back
- 5:43Speaker 1: it up. And if he end up beating me, I'm
- 5:45Speaker 1: gonna wish it somebody that couldn't back it up.
- 5:48Speaker 4: But I'm in.
- 5:49Speaker 2: And what's uh? What what are we date were looking at? Roughly?
- 5:53Speaker 1: He said, any weekend in April April.
- 5:55Speaker 2: So it gives you time to kind of train a
- 5:57Speaker 2: little bit.
- 5:58Speaker 1: And I'm already going to be working out practicing.
- 6:01Speaker 2: So is the weather going to be warm like from
- 6:03Speaker 2: here on out or are we kind of just getting lucky.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I think it's good. I mean I think it won't
- 6:08Speaker 1: be as today's going to be really good. Yeah, but
- 6:10Speaker 1: I think it won't be this good all the time
- 6:14Speaker 1: for the next few weeks. But I think it stays
- 6:16Speaker 1: pretty good. Like high are low fifties coming up, but
- 6:20Speaker 1: I think now good, we've without some crazy front coming in.
- 6:24Speaker 1: We're pretty much at the worst fifty forty eight, forty
- 6:29Speaker 1: nine to fifty good at the best sixties.
- 6:30Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm done with that.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Yeah that cool.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:33Speaker 2: How excited were you when you saw like sun and warm?
- 6:36Speaker 2: You're like, I get to play pickle.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I was so excited that I just text George yesterday
- 6:39Speaker 1: out of nowhere. I was like, Hey, I'm about to
- 6:40Speaker 1: hop out on the court and hit some balls. I
- 6:41Speaker 1: text read too. Read's like I diarrhea.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Yeah, what a laxative. It was not a good idea.
- 6:48Speaker 6: I was trying to clear myself out, man.
- 6:49Speaker 1: All right. I texted them reads like A can't and
- 6:52Speaker 1: George's like, I'm in. So George came over and we've
- 6:55Speaker 1: hit some balls and played a little bit.
- 6:56Speaker 2: That was it.
- 6:57Speaker 1: It was so last minute. It was awesome. But I'm
- 6:58Speaker 1: gonna see if you can find more about this information
- 7:00Speaker 1: you looking about Kevin.
- 7:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm looking on your Twitter right now the post
- 7:03Speaker 4: and I don't see him.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Just go under that post and you just follow it down.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Okay, we have Wade Phillips coming up Dallas Cowboys, former
- 7:12Speaker 1: head coach.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Pretty cool coaching in the UFL, the son of bum Phillips.
- 7:16Speaker 1: You've been watching watch college basketball?
- 7:18Speaker 2: Uh? Yeah, yeah, every pretty much every day. Sundays are
- 7:21Speaker 2: they don't have like there's only like four or five
- 7:22Speaker 2: games going on Sunday. But that's it.
- 7:24Speaker 1: I won't spend a whole much time talking about it.
- 7:25Speaker 1: I have also been watching a decent amount mostly SEC games,
- 7:30Speaker 1: ninety s.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Game SEC's playing that. I mean, they're awesome.
- 7:32Speaker 1: They're gonna have twelve or thirteen teams in the Den, yeah,
- 7:35Speaker 1: which is wild because Arkansas has a great chance to
- 7:37Speaker 1: get in and they won't even be five hundred conference.
- 7:40Speaker 1: But all the teams are so good, supposedly they're gonna
- 7:42Speaker 1: put a lot in. Auburn is the favorite to one
- 7:44Speaker 1: at all at plus three sixty?
- 7:46Speaker 2: Are they so dominant?
- 7:48Speaker 1: Duke at plus three seventy, they're so so much one
- 7:51Speaker 1: and two that the next one up, Houston's at plus
- 7:53Speaker 1: eight hundred.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Yeah, and Houston's you know, you never know who're gonna
- 7:57Speaker 2: get when you see Houston.
- 7:59Speaker 1: They think that two SEC teams will be the two
- 8:01Speaker 1: one seeds of the four. Wow, Florida, Bama, Tennessee coming
- 8:04Speaker 1: in at four, five and six in the betting odds selection.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Sunday is Mark sixteenth, that's six pm Eastern on CBS,
- 8:11Speaker 1: So that's fun. Another story the Steve Smith story blows
- 8:13Speaker 1: my mind. Yeah affair, Steve Sith was banging some dud's wife. Yeah,
- 8:18Speaker 1: and he found out and his do it all on
- 8:19Speaker 1: the internet.
- 8:20Speaker 2: He did it, he let it out husband.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Wild.
- 8:25Speaker 3: So.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Over the weekend, former NFL wide receiver Steve Smith took
- 8:29Speaker 1: a beating on social media. Tony Martinez unloaded with accusations
- 8:32Speaker 1: and apparent receipts accusing Smith of getting more than a
- 8:35Speaker 1: little friendly with his wife, Nicole Martinez. Not only did
- 8:40Speaker 1: Martinez post screenshots of what appear to be graphic texts
- 8:43Speaker 1: between Smith and his wife, he also posted a video
- 8:45Speaker 1: where he called Steve Smith and he's like, hey man,
- 8:48Speaker 1: he slept with my wife. And Steve Smith goes, I'm sorry, whoa,
- 8:52Speaker 1: that's all whoa. There's really been no public comment, but
- 8:55Speaker 1: it was some dirty stuff. The article I'm reading it
- 8:58Speaker 1: from Yahoo where Steve Smith Smith was like, that's want
- 9:01Speaker 1: to fill that wet pee?
- 9:02Speaker 2: What on earth? Apparently is Steve Smith married?
- 9:05Speaker 1: Yes, yes, the kids and apparently she played in the
- 9:08Speaker 1: Carolina Panther band.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Oh okay, the like the NFL have a band.
- 9:14Speaker 1: I'm all a positive, I'm not crazy on this. I
- 9:16Speaker 1: think she played in the Panther like the Marching band.
- 9:20Speaker 4: I think they have a band like I know that
- 9:22Speaker 4: they have the big drum right to keep pounding. That's
- 9:24Speaker 4: their thing.
- 9:25Speaker 2: But that's not official. I don't think it's like a fan, but.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I think Casey. Would you google this, the Carolina Panther
- 9:31Speaker 1: pet band. I'm pretty sure she played in it, and
- 9:33Speaker 1: there was one time that he was like directing it.
- 9:36Speaker 3: Lord.
- 9:37Speaker 1: So this is how it all started, the messages he
- 9:39Speaker 1: put out there. The guy ended up taking it all
- 9:44Speaker 1: down and then taking his account down to but he
- 9:47Speaker 1: took his cheating wife. I'm seeing the percussion p u
- 9:51Speaker 1: r R per per Yeah, percussion.
- 9:55Speaker 4: Okay, Baltimore Ravens band.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's what it was, the Ravens.
- 9:59Speaker 4: That's right.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Well there's also the percussion.
- 10:01Speaker 4: Good point.
- 10:02Speaker 1: I think of him so much as a panther. Yeah right,
- 10:05Speaker 1: he played with that raven Yeah, yeah, it was the
- 10:07Speaker 1: raven band. You're right, Wow, gotcha.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Wild.
- 10:12Speaker 1: You know she had to see that stuff on the
- 10:14Speaker 1: internet and be like, oh my god, like she must
- 10:15Speaker 1: feel like her her life is run. Now did she
- 10:18Speaker 1: do it? It looks like it. You think it's too much,
- 10:21Speaker 1: You think it was too much for him to do that.
- 10:23Speaker 2: No, heck, no, you don't think it's too much. No,
- 10:27Speaker 2: you don't think it could be handled a different way?
- 10:29Speaker 4: No, I mean he definitely, like he definitely you know,
- 10:33Speaker 4: watched out and wasn't thinking clearly and justly found out
- 10:36Speaker 4: and then just went crazy. But how can you blame him?
- 10:39Speaker 4: I don't be pretty upset.
- 10:40Speaker 1: I don't like, I don't want to. I don't want
- 10:42Speaker 1: to blame him. Yeah, when she's the one that cheated,
- 10:46Speaker 1: I just ask if you think his mode of operation
- 10:53Speaker 1: was appropriate or not, because it's definitely on her and
- 10:58Speaker 1: Steve Smith. But Steve's Smith's to his family, right, Steve
- 11:01Speaker 1: Smiths's ha any loyalty to that dude, right, Steve Smith's
- 11:04Speaker 1: his his with his family.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Which is probably his thinking like this is I mean
- 11:08Speaker 2: everyone's gonna find out his family, the world, like.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Everybody must pay.
- 11:12Speaker 3: Yes.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Yeah, so I don't hate it.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I don't know that I would do it because I
- 11:17Speaker 1: would feel embarrassed too, and I think I would have
- 11:19Speaker 1: it'd be so personal to me, is I don't want
- 11:21Speaker 1: to embrassed. I'm just gonna handle it divorced, like you'd
- 11:23Speaker 1: be embarrassed at your wife cheated on you with somebody
- 11:26Speaker 1: famous with bigger Wiener. Mm hmm, it is that dude's aboosed.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Oh.
- 11:35Speaker 1: She even said he like I think one of the
- 11:38Speaker 1: things where it was he like knocked her, I U
- 11:40Speaker 1: d you whatever the birth controlling in her like flipped it.
- 11:45Speaker 4: Then I'd keep a secret.
- 11:48Speaker 2: He fled it.
- 11:49Speaker 1: I think that's what it was with it in there,
- 11:52Speaker 1: don't know. That's a big story over the weekend. I
- 11:54Speaker 1: was kind of in that one.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Yeah, that was the headline for me. I was like, Wow,
- 11:58Speaker 2: it's crazy, and then I moved on.
- 12:00Speaker 1: I just read more and more and more. The Yankees
- 12:04Speaker 1: will allow facial hair. Let's go over to Casey, our
- 12:06Speaker 1: Yankee fan. Yeah, it's about time.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Huh.
- 12:08Speaker 2: I think it's about time.
- 12:10Speaker 4: You know, beard today.
- 12:14Speaker 1: If the Yankees get it, Casey gets it, that's what
- 12:16Speaker 1: it is.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Because of it.
- 12:19Speaker 4: He just wanted to shine the pigs. I love George.
- 12:21Speaker 1: You know you do have a beard for the first time.
- 12:23Speaker 7: Yeah, well I finally grew it out and it took
- 12:25Speaker 7: about like a week and a half. This is you know,
- 12:26Speaker 7: Harry Italian over here gets a beard.
- 12:28Speaker 4: As a Yankees fan, are you fine with this?
- 12:30Speaker 3: Good with this?
- 12:31Speaker 1: Battery?
- 12:31Speaker 2: I'm cool with this.
- 12:32Speaker 7: It's not going to make a much of a difference
- 12:34Speaker 7: on the field. So but you know, yeah, I liked
- 12:38Speaker 7: that they had this rule because it was their rule.
- 12:40Speaker 7: But like they're still kind of you know, it's like
- 12:42Speaker 7: they're more lenient.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Yes, it does say like well manicured right in the language. Now,
- 12:48Speaker 1: so you can't really have you know, the zz top.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Beard, right, well, can you have a shadow?
- 12:54Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 12:54Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you could always have kind of a little
- 12:56Speaker 2: five o'clock shadow.
- 12:57Speaker 1: They'd allow well groomed beards for players in a stash
- 13:00Speaker 1: and mustache came the mustache though, could never go beyond
- 13:04Speaker 1: the it can never handlebar it. No, you couldn't do
- 13:09Speaker 1: the foo man chew, which is which is the mustache
- 13:13Speaker 1: all the way down in the middle of the go
- 13:14Speaker 1: t shaved out. So I like the Yankees had that
- 13:16Speaker 1: weird rule. I thought it was a weird rule, but
- 13:18Speaker 1: I liked it because they were like known for It's like,
- 13:20Speaker 1: if you want to be the tip top, you got
- 13:22Speaker 1: to shave off your face. It's a crazy rule. So yeah,
- 13:26Speaker 1: so they were lying facial here there's a Wimby Rookie
- 13:28Speaker 1: card that sold for eight hundred and sixty thousand dollars, which,
- 13:32Speaker 1: by the way, we haven't been on since last Monday.
- 13:34Speaker 1: But Wemby's out for the year with that blood clot
- 13:35Speaker 1: and the shoulder. He is Chris bosh So and he
- 13:38Speaker 1: retired from.
- 13:39Speaker 2: The same thing. And my mom got tickets to go
- 13:42Speaker 2: see the Spurs in Austin, which was like this past week,
- 13:46Speaker 2: and they played Detroit and he was playing who do.
- 13:49Speaker 1: I feel more sad for your mom or Wimby with
- 13:51Speaker 1: the blood clot You're trying to take away his And
- 13:53Speaker 1: he's like, no, that's nothing, my mom my mom. Yeah, Like,
- 13:58Speaker 1: blood clot's a real deal. Hey, this is scary season
- 14:02Speaker 1: ending injury for when Binyama didn't stop a collector from
- 14:05Speaker 1: spending a fortune on his rookie card. Golden Auctions announced
- 14:08Speaker 1: that the twenty twenty three Pinini Prism Nebula Choice one
- 14:11Speaker 1: of one Wemby card went for a final bidding price
- 14:13Speaker 1: of eight hundred and sixty thousand, one hundred dollars. That's
- 14:17Speaker 1: a new record for a Wimby rookie card. The previous
- 14:19Speaker 1: high was five hundred and sixteen thousand for a twenty
- 14:21Speaker 1: twenty three Prism Black Schomer one of one. Sources the
- 14:24Speaker 1: athletic crazy. When usually in the story and you're looking
- 14:28Speaker 1: at the news, you start to get numbed to people
- 14:31Speaker 1: paying a bunch of money for stupid things. But when
- 14:33Speaker 1: you really think about paying eight hundred and sixty thousand
- 14:35Speaker 1: dollars for a card, card, a piece of now, it's
- 14:38Speaker 1: not that because a piece of paper, a stock is
- 14:39Speaker 1: a piece of paper.
- 14:40Speaker 2: I get it right. I mean a crypto bitcoin is nothing.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Yes, it is an investment into a human who may
- 14:49Speaker 1: never come back. Yeah, who may have may come back
- 14:54Speaker 1: and not be as good. For that kind of price,
- 14:56Speaker 1: you need this person to be one of the greatest
- 14:58Speaker 1: players of all time. Spend that kind of money. Yeah,
- 15:02Speaker 1: and everything it was shape shaping up for him to be.
- 15:04Speaker 1: I mean he was in for defensive player. He's gonna
- 15:06Speaker 1: win defensive Player the year. This year he's not eligible.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Now I won't play enough games. But this is after
- 15:12Speaker 1: the blood clot The guy still bought the card. Wow,
- 15:15Speaker 1: eight hundred and sixty thousand dollars.
- 15:17Speaker 4: You think he saw it as a bargain. Then he's like,
- 15:19Speaker 4: you know what, he's hurt right now, his stock is low.
- 15:21Speaker 4: Let's buy this.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Maybe it'll double if he comes back and it's a
- 15:24Speaker 1: big if. But if he does, I'm gonna go know
- 15:28Speaker 1: kind of, so the no is going to be he
- 15:30Speaker 1: had to start bidding. I think when the auction started,
- 15:32Speaker 1: the bidding started when Winby was still healthy.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Ok okay, so does it last that long? Biddings like bids,
- 15:37Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Some of them are two weeks, some of them are
- 15:41Speaker 1: a week. I have the Golden app I buy a
- 15:43Speaker 1: bunch of stuff from it. So I think he probably
- 15:45Speaker 1: got in one hundred two hundred thousand if I'm just speculating,
- 15:50Speaker 1: And maybe it didn't go as high as it would
- 15:51Speaker 1: have had he been healthy, because it could have been
- 15:57Speaker 1: a million dollar card if he'd have been healthy. So
- 15:58Speaker 1: maybe the price was lower. But I don't think anybody
- 16:00Speaker 1: just jumped in like I'll get it cheaper because he's hurt.
- 16:03Speaker 1: He could have been a guy that was already in
- 16:05Speaker 1: the mix, and it's like I'll go up to this
- 16:06Speaker 1: amount because he's heard in one or stuff I've done before.
- 16:08Speaker 1: It's like, I'll go up to this and I'm like, oh,
- 16:10Speaker 1: got up. Somebody out bids me. Please, somebody out bid me.
- 16:14Speaker 1: I gave read a bunch of cards reading now are
- 16:17Speaker 1: getting back in the card business I have. You can
- 16:20Speaker 1: open it up for him, read, and I have an
- 16:22Speaker 1: eBay business of cards.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Dude, that case is so legit with a lock on
- 16:26Speaker 2: it or two locks on it. Yeah, oh, we gotta
- 16:29Speaker 2: turn away. He's doing a combo read.
- 16:31Speaker 1: I forgot how to get the case open.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I think upside down read.
- 16:34Speaker 6: It's not upside down, is it?
- 16:35Speaker 1: It's upside down read?
- 16:36Speaker 4: Yeah, oh, I had so. Read sells them on the
- 16:39Speaker 4: eBay page.
- 16:39Speaker 1: And then he mails them and he gets ten percent
- 16:42Speaker 1: of all profit.
- 16:43Speaker 2: That's great, very nice.
- 16:45Speaker 6: This one might actually be locked.
- 16:46Speaker 1: That is, it's not locked. Push the little stings on
- 16:49Speaker 1: the side of it. Well, we're gonna do a little
- 16:54Speaker 1: experiment here, but.
- 16:56Speaker 2: You gotta read. You want to bring it over to
- 16:58Speaker 2: one of two locks open. It might be stuck.
- 16:59Speaker 1: If you can get that one, Okay, we'll just wait.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Looks like there's something going on. Yeah, it's definitely locked.
- 17:07Speaker 1: I don't know how to get it open. If you like,
- 17:08Speaker 1: turn the code. There is no code.
- 17:10Speaker 2: It looks like they need a key, right.
- 17:11Speaker 1: I don't have a key either. I swear to God
- 17:14Speaker 1: a freed if read bring it over to me. I
- 17:18Speaker 1: don't know how to get that open if you like somehow.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Okay, Well there there's like a combination and key.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I know, but I've never used either one of them,
- 17:27Speaker 1: and I've never turned the combination.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Hold on, why don't you looks like?
- 17:30Speaker 1: Just bring it over here at the zero.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Yeah, put them all to zero.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Yes, that's it.
- 17:35Speaker 6: What do you mean I didn't do it?
- 17:37Speaker 2: Want to look at the other one?
- 17:39Speaker 6: I just got the case.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Yeah, but on the ground you're flipping it upside down.
- 17:45Speaker 2: There you go. I can bring into things, no problem.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Pull a few of those out. Let's see what we
- 17:54Speaker 1: got here.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Let's do this one.
- 17:56Speaker 1: That'll be a C. J. Stroud rookie probably.
- 17:59Speaker 6: Oh yeah, Jim ten, come on, beauty.
- 18:02Speaker 1: I don't really know what's in the box, but I
- 18:04Speaker 1: know that I pulled a bunch of a bunch of
- 18:05Speaker 1: my cards that were over one thousand dollars each and
- 18:07Speaker 1: moved them to its own thing, so there could be
- 18:09Speaker 1: some valuable cards in there. But what do you got there?
- 18:11Speaker 3: Oh?
- 18:12Speaker 1: This is a Corbyn Carrol is autographed.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Autographed.
- 18:16Speaker 1: He's out for the season. I think, well last year.
- 18:19Speaker 1: We're about to start a new year.
- 18:20Speaker 2: I think I think he's out for this. I miss
- 18:22Speaker 2: the whole year. I think really, Yeah, it's a hold
- 18:24Speaker 2: on of that one.
- 18:24Speaker 1: No, I sell it. I give that. I try to
- 18:27Speaker 1: get that wimbye price. Yeah, what else you got over there?
- 18:29Speaker 1: Pick one more out of there?
- 18:30Speaker 3: What we got? What we got?
- 18:32Speaker 1: So say?
- 18:32Speaker 4: Ooh, Mike Trout, is that a pat one of one
- 18:36Speaker 4: auto patch?
- 18:36Speaker 6: Auto?
- 18:37Speaker 3: Oh?
- 18:37Speaker 1: I should probably keep that one.
- 18:38Speaker 4: Now you sell it.
- 18:39Speaker 1: It's in the box.
- 18:39Speaker 4: Sell it.
- 18:40Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Why you think about keeping that one? Just to wait,
- 18:44Speaker 2: it's probably.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Worth eBay dot com slash mister Bobby Bones four or
- 18:48Speaker 1: five hundred bucks that Trout Gunner Henderson baby get ment ten? Okay,
- 18:55Speaker 1: we're selling all those Did we get a hundred thousand
- 18:57Speaker 1: and one?
- 18:57Speaker 2: Any of them?
- 18:58Speaker 6: I get ten percent?
- 18:59Speaker 1: Let's go ten percent of profit? Buddy, Come on pretty good? Okay, Mike,
- 19:03Speaker 1: you're gonna break, yeahs break all right, we'll come back.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Okay.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Now we're gonna get over to our talk with Wade Phillips,
- 19:16Speaker 1: former NFL head coach. He was coach of the Cowboys,
- 19:19Speaker 1: coach of the Texans, head coach of the Texans.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:21Speaker 1: He's now the head coach of the San Antonio Brahmas
- 19:23Speaker 1: in the UFL, which sharts March twenty eighth. He's also
- 19:27Speaker 1: Buffalo Denver won a Super Bowl as defensive coordinator with
- 19:31Speaker 1: the Broncos in twenty fifteen. So here we go. This
- 19:34Speaker 1: is Wade Phillips, hey coach. Where are you right now?
- 19:37Speaker 3: I'm in Houston.
- 19:38Speaker 1: I hear some classical music before we came on. You're
- 19:41Speaker 1: rocking out to some Beethoven there.
- 19:42Speaker 3: What Yeah, yeah, I was just checking out all the music.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Whenever you were coaching in the NFL, your head coaching
- 19:50Speaker 1: stops when it came to young quarterbacks. In the last
- 19:53Speaker 1: couple of years, we've seen Jade and Daniels Crush and
- 19:55Speaker 1: c J. Stroud before that, who was like the youngest
- 19:59Speaker 1: guy that you had that you knew would be really
- 20:02Speaker 1: good and they were really good quick, you know.
- 20:04Speaker 3: I was with Jim Kelly and John Lway and people
- 20:08Speaker 3: like that. We knew they were great. When I was
- 20:11Speaker 3: at San Diego, we had Drew Brees and he did
- 20:17Speaker 3: real well for us, and then we ended out trading
- 20:20Speaker 3: him and uh or letting him go actually to Miami
- 20:24Speaker 3: at the time, and so but you could tell that
- 20:30Speaker 3: we when I went there, there were four and twelve
- 20:32Speaker 3: and we went twelve and four the first year with him,
- 20:35Speaker 3: so I kind of thought he was going to be
- 20:38Speaker 3: a good player.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Evaluating young players with the combine coming up and then
- 20:42Speaker 1: the draft, how much did you like to get in
- 20:45Speaker 1: that mix.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Well, I think coaches ought to always be a part
- 20:48Speaker 3: of it. Uh. You know, our general manager Mark Littlebridge
- 20:53Speaker 3: does does a great job of really scouting and and
- 20:57Speaker 3: doing all that kind of stuff and getting us look
- 21:00Speaker 3: at the players. But also he has a he's a
- 21:02Speaker 3: great evaluator. So in fact, he he evaluated over a
- 21:06Speaker 3: thousand guys the first year we were with him. He's
- 21:10Speaker 3: really good and that helps us.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Was there a guy in the NFL when you would
- 21:14Speaker 1: be evaluating that you really were like, I want to,
- 21:17Speaker 1: you know, bet at all on this guy, and he
- 21:19Speaker 1: was really your guy coming in it ended up being
- 21:21Speaker 1: a big success.
- 21:22Speaker 3: Well, yeah, I'd have to say J J. Watt With
- 21:24Speaker 3: that guy. When I was with the Texans, there was
- 21:31Speaker 3: big discussions on who we wanted to take with our
- 21:33Speaker 3: first pick, and I was one of them. This stood
- 21:36Speaker 3: up for him and and then he turned it out
- 21:39Speaker 3: to be pretty good player.
- 21:42Speaker 1: We have a my friend here who's a massive Cowboys fan.
- 21:44Speaker 1: He wants to ask a couple Cowboys questions.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Hey, coach, loved the Dallas Cowboys, loved when you were
- 21:48Speaker 2: the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. But what was
- 21:50Speaker 2: that like being when you got the job? I mean,
- 21:54Speaker 2: you know, your pops was the Oilers coach. Was that
- 21:56Speaker 2: hard for you to be, like, I'm going to be
- 21:57Speaker 2: a Cowboys head coach?
- 21:59Speaker 3: It wasn't hard for for me. It was hard for
- 22:00Speaker 3: my sisters. I have five sisters. They weren't big Dallas
- 22:05Speaker 3: Cowboy fans because he you know, we weren't rivals because
- 22:09Speaker 3: we're Houston and Dallas kind of a rivalry, but you know,
- 22:14Speaker 3: they weren't in the same division or anything or playing
- 22:17Speaker 3: against each other very often. So but uh no, it
- 22:21Speaker 3: was easy to It was easy to proof the Cowboys
- 22:24Speaker 3: when they're paid you.
- 22:26Speaker 1: What was it like to work under Jerry?
- 22:28Speaker 3: It was really good. He's a great you know, people
- 22:31Speaker 3: don't I'm sure they don't realize, but he's a great
- 22:35Speaker 3: family guy. You know, he takes you in and and
- 22:39Speaker 3: it is part of his family. Uh you know, he
- 22:43Speaker 3: just does things extra for you and your family. So
- 22:48Speaker 3: that part, you know, is really special with him. You
- 22:52Speaker 3: know that. You know, he's a general manager. I think
- 22:55Speaker 3: gets a lot of flat because he's a general manager.
- 22:58Speaker 3: But you know, any general manager, I think, uh, you know,
- 23:02Speaker 3: if they don't live up to what people think is
- 23:07Speaker 3: going to happen, and they're going to get some some
- 23:10Speaker 3: of that. But uh, he's a football guy. People don't
- 23:13Speaker 3: realize how many played football he's He's been in it
- 23:16Speaker 3: a long time and and you know he will Uh
- 23:20Speaker 3: he's a good listener as far as you know, listening
- 23:23Speaker 3: to the scouts and coaches and who we want to
- 23:26Speaker 3: pick and those kinds of things. And he is the
- 23:29Speaker 3: decision a decision maker. You know, you can say that
- 23:32Speaker 3: for him.
- 23:34Speaker 2: What about Tony Romo coach? I think a lot of
- 23:36Speaker 2: us realize his knowledge of the game and how smart
- 23:39Speaker 2: he was and seeing the game when he started commentating.
- 23:41Speaker 2: We can see this on television. But what was it
- 23:44Speaker 2: like coaching him? I mean, did you know immediately got
- 23:46Speaker 2: this guy's his IQ was so good?
- 23:48Speaker 3: Yeah, it's football like he is super Uh he has
- 23:52Speaker 3: a feel for the game is but he's got a
- 23:56Speaker 3: feel for people too. I mean players that he's played with, and.
- 24:03Speaker 1: You know.
- 24:05Speaker 3: He was special in that way. And yeah, you can
- 24:07Speaker 3: tell on TV what kind of I mean, I've been
- 24:10Speaker 3: around a lot of smart players, but he was certainly
- 24:12Speaker 3: one of the top.
- 24:13Speaker 1: When people say the coaches make these adjustments in game
- 24:15Speaker 1: during halftime, is that overstated? Are you making adjustments all game?
- 24:20Speaker 1: And is halftime when you can all get together and
- 24:22Speaker 1: talk about it? How important is that or how much
- 24:24Speaker 1: of a talking point is that?
- 24:25Speaker 3: Well, you only have twelve minutes, you know, and so
- 24:29Speaker 3: and part of it's getting in the dressing room and
- 24:32Speaker 3: out of the dressing room and getting organized and everybody
- 24:35Speaker 3: getting you know, a drink of water or whatever they
- 24:37Speaker 3: need at halftime and some of them, so you have
- 24:42Speaker 3: really very little time. So I think sometimes it's overrated.
- 24:49Speaker 3: You know. Of course, sometimes you go in there and
- 24:51Speaker 3: you all are help. You know, hey, we've got to
- 24:55Speaker 3: we've got to do everything different. But there still are
- 24:59Speaker 3: adjustment was made, and I think, you know, I think
- 25:01Speaker 3: the good coaches make those adjustments.
- 25:05Speaker 1: As a head coach or as a defensive coordinator, would
- 25:09Speaker 1: you prefer to have game planned against a guy like
- 25:11Speaker 1: Michael Vick, like really mobile or a guy like Tom Brady,
- 25:14Speaker 1: guy that would you know, sit in the pocket and
- 25:16Speaker 1: pick you apart? Which one was more difficult? Which one
- 25:18Speaker 1: did you not like doing?
- 25:19Speaker 3: I was at Atlanta with Michael Vick and his heyday.
- 25:23Speaker 3: I mean, so, you know, he was such a great
- 25:26Speaker 3: athlete and you know, could really run run the ball
- 25:29Speaker 3: like a halfback, which there's there's a lot of quarterbacks
- 25:33Speaker 3: nowadays that can run with it, but he, you know,
- 25:36Speaker 3: he was a really talented runner. So but we just
- 25:39Speaker 3: saw him in practice and you know, and and in
- 25:43Speaker 3: the games, and you know, just ah, that what he
- 25:46Speaker 3: could do. So so I never didn't really have to
- 25:49Speaker 3: play against him. Her coach against him that much. A
- 25:52Speaker 3: coach against Tom Brady quite a bit. And he was
- 25:55Speaker 3: the greatest you know, he was the greatest quarterback so
- 25:58Speaker 3: that I coached against. I mean, no matter what you did,
- 26:07Speaker 3: he he could anticipate what you were doing, he could
- 26:11Speaker 3: he could process it so quickly. And he had had
- 26:16Speaker 3: such a gift of being able to get the ball
- 26:18Speaker 3: in the right place at the right time. So yeah,
- 26:22Speaker 3: he was hard to play against. Obviously.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I want to ask you about a few players before
- 26:25Speaker 1: we go and just kind of give me your overall
- 26:26Speaker 1: thoughts on what it was like coaching them, And I'll
- 26:29Speaker 1: start with Reggie White.
- 26:31Speaker 3: Yeah, Reggie White was a fun guy to be around.
- 26:37Speaker 3: They called him the Minister of Defense. And he was
- 26:39Speaker 3: a very religious guy, but a real happy, go lucky,
- 26:45Speaker 3: lucky guy. Every day was fun. He was fun to
- 26:49Speaker 3: be around. Uh he pulled a lot of jokes in practice.
- 26:57Speaker 3: One of our coaches that coached him, he would if
- 27:01Speaker 3: he turned his back time talking on the chalkboard, Reggie
- 27:06Speaker 3: might go over and pull his pants down or something.
- 27:09Speaker 3: I mean, he was a he could imitate everybody. He
- 27:14Speaker 3: could imitate Buddy Buddy Ryan to a t which the
- 27:20Speaker 3: Rookie Show. Every year he was in the Rookie Show,
- 27:22Speaker 3: and you know he would do the coaches and everybody
- 27:25Speaker 3: would just laugh like crazy, but he did Muhammad Ali
- 27:28Speaker 3: and all the I mean, he was but a great
- 27:33Speaker 3: guy and obviously a great great player. It's so fun
- 27:36Speaker 3: to coach. And you know he set the record. He
- 27:40Speaker 3: set the record with twenty one sacks in twelve games
- 27:42Speaker 3: when I coast him. So nobody will ever do that.
- 27:46Speaker 3: I mean the record is twenty three now, but that's
- 27:49Speaker 3: in sixteen games.
- 27:51Speaker 1: What about JJ Watt You mentioned him earlier, Like, give
- 27:53Speaker 1: me a JJ Watt story.
- 27:57Speaker 3: Yeah, Jj, they boot him when we drafted them. When
- 28:00Speaker 3: when he came in for the draft party, because nobody
- 28:03Speaker 3: had ever heard of Houston, nobody had heard of J. J.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Watt and uh Wisconsin, you know, from Wisconsin. So the
- 28:11Speaker 3: fans didn't really jump on board. And he started fracticing
- 28:14Speaker 3: a little bit with us, you know, and man, he was,
- 28:17Speaker 3: you know, he was better almost. I mean he was
- 28:20Speaker 3: up there with the guys that the great ones that
- 28:22Speaker 3: I'd had before, and uh, and I noticed it pretty quickly.
- 28:26Speaker 3: And so you know, one day they asked, the press
- 28:29Speaker 3: asked me about you know, what about JJ and is
- 28:32Speaker 3: he going to make it and all that, and I said, well,
- 28:35Speaker 3: JJ's going to be a bus but it's going to
- 28:37Speaker 3: be in the Hall of Fame.
- 28:39Speaker 1: And then Aaron Donald, give me one on him.
- 28:41Speaker 3: Yeah, tremendously hard worker.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Uh.
- 28:45Speaker 3: I was a great talent, but the termed tremendously uh
- 28:50Speaker 3: hard working guy that that uh you know, put in
- 28:54Speaker 3: the work and the extra work every day. JJ did too.
- 28:56Speaker 3: I mean all the great ones seemed to do more
- 28:59Speaker 3: than everybody else, you know, whether it's working on their
- 29:06Speaker 3: what their craft, we're working on extra lifting more weights
- 29:10Speaker 3: or or running more after practice or all those things.
- 29:14Speaker 3: All the great ones I've been around a bend like that.
- 29:16Speaker 3: And he was certainly that way.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Where about a month out from the start of the
- 29:20Speaker 1: UFL season, where are you in the process now with the.
- 29:22Speaker 3: Team, well, getting organized, getting our players organizing, and just
- 29:28Speaker 3: about having our roster said going into camp, we've had
- 29:33Speaker 3: coaches meetings offense, defense, special teams, then the league. We've
- 29:39Speaker 3: had meetings with the league. We're having a couple of
- 29:43Speaker 3: scrimmages that we're going to have before the season starts.
- 29:46Speaker 3: We set those up. We had a rules meeting with
- 29:49Speaker 3: Dean Blandino. So we've been busy.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Are there any rules this season that you're having to go? Okay,
- 29:55Speaker 1: I got to prepare myself for this because it's pretty
- 29:57Speaker 1: new or different.
- 29:58Speaker 3: Well, the kickoff, we're going back the old XFL kickoff rule,
- 30:02Speaker 3: which I was a part of. So nothing else really changed,
- 30:06Speaker 3: but we're going back to the old XFL kickoff.
- 30:08Speaker 1: So you're the head coach of the San Antonio Brahmas,
- 30:11Speaker 1: and so how did you end up that coach of
- 30:14Speaker 1: that team? Specifically part of the merger.
- 30:17Speaker 3: I was with the Houston and when we merged, they
- 30:21Speaker 3: had two Houston teams, one in one in the USFL,
- 30:24Speaker 3: one in the XFL, and they chose to drop the
- 30:28Speaker 3: XFL team Houston team. So but in the meantime, the
- 30:34Speaker 3: San Antonio job came open and I was off for that,
- 30:38Speaker 3: so I was glad to get that one.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Well, coach, we really appreciate the time. And UFL season
- 30:43Speaker 1: kicks off Friday, March twenty eighth. You guys have the
- 30:45Speaker 1: one of my favorite logos in the UFL. You have
- 30:47Speaker 1: it on your shirt there too. It's it's such a
- 30:49Speaker 1: legit logo. And so we'll be watching for you a
- 30:51Speaker 1: little redemption after the championship game last year. You looking
- 30:54Speaker 1: forward to getting back in the mix.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, it's going to be a great year. It's
- 30:56Speaker 3: going to be a fun year. A lot of a
- 31:00Speaker 3: lot of new guys, but we get back some of
- 31:04Speaker 3: the really good players be back too, So we're looking
- 31:06Speaker 3: forward to it. I mean, it's gonna be fun for
- 31:08Speaker 3: the fans, and I hope Everybonde enjoys as much as
- 31:12Speaker 3: I do. I love it.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Well, coach, we appreciate it. I hope you have a
- 31:14Speaker 1: great day and thank you for the time.
- 31:15Speaker 3: All right, thank you, thanks coach.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Did you watch Steve.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Mcneir documentary finally? Did which you think?
- 31:26Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 31:26Speaker 2: Man, crazy? So I watched one. I don't know, Like
- 31:29Speaker 2: ten years ago. I think there was maybe a thirty
- 31:32Speaker 2: for thirty or something that I watched so different. They
- 31:35Speaker 2: just covered it kind of black and white, like this
- 31:37Speaker 2: is what happened, this is what they found, this is
- 31:40Speaker 2: what they concluded. Boom and a documentary. This one opens
- 31:44Speaker 2: up so many different options of what could have happened
- 31:47Speaker 2: to Steve McNair. Crazy dude, Like, and I mean, I
- 31:50Speaker 2: just love this. It's happened right down the street. Yeah,
- 31:53Speaker 2: and that's crazy.
- 31:54Speaker 4: Looks a little different now, huh.
- 31:56Speaker 1: There are scenarios that really the public wasn't told about.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, like uh yeah, three or four different scenarios,
- 32:04Speaker 2: like when.
- 32:04Speaker 1: When the police interviewed a certain guy and he was like,
- 32:06Speaker 1: oh yeah, I was lying because my girl was near me. Like,
- 32:08Speaker 1: there's just a lot of fishy stuff happening in this thing.
- 32:10Speaker 1: So do you recommend it?
- 32:12Speaker 2: Absolutely, Like, if you know the Steve McNair story just
- 32:16Speaker 2: from what you remember, watch this. It'll change your mind.
- 32:19Speaker 1: I watched a documentary on yacht rock. Oh that's notes
- 32:23Speaker 1: and HBO that's a style of music.
- 32:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:26Speaker 1: So Bill Simmons has a whole music box series and
- 32:29Speaker 1: the Atlantis Moore set was awesome. He did the nineties
- 32:34Speaker 1: Woodstock Oh yeah, ninety four. Yeah, there's a whole series,
- 32:37Speaker 1: the whole series on HBO. So I watched the yacht
- 32:39Speaker 1: Rock one. Yeah, and it kind of started with Man,
- 32:45Speaker 1: I can't think of the game. No, it's too dude.
- 32:48Speaker 1: So yat rock was not a thing. It happened in
- 32:50Speaker 1: like the two thousands with a comedy duo on social
- 32:53Speaker 1: media they named yacht rock. Yacht rock was not a
- 32:55Speaker 1: thing while it was happening. Oh really, okay, yeah, so
- 32:57Speaker 1: they called it yacht rock Logins and so I know
- 33:01Speaker 1: Kenny Long Loggins, but I only know Kenny Loggins. I
- 33:03Speaker 1: don't know Loggins and Assina, but they were like the
- 33:05Speaker 1: unofficial starters of yacht rock. So basically Kevin, it's like,
- 33:12Speaker 1: it's like what you white R and B listen to
- 33:14Speaker 1: in your in your yacht white soft R and B.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Oh.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:17Speaker 1: I always thought Hall of Notes is like the epitome
- 33:20Speaker 1: of Doobie Brothers. Yeah, so Doobie Brothers ended up being
- 33:23Speaker 1: a part of it, but Michael McDonald really was by himself.
- 33:26Speaker 1: The Doobie Brothers to me seem a little seventy stonery
- 33:29Speaker 1: because their name is Doobie, but they put them in
- 33:31Speaker 1: this like they were considered. But again, at the time,
- 33:34Speaker 1: there was not a format of yacht rock. It was
- 33:35Speaker 1: something invented like two thousands and they just went back
- 33:38Speaker 1: and like Sirius has a channel now of yacht rock
- 33:40Speaker 1: where it's mostly like white people playing guitars that sing
- 33:44Speaker 1: that sound a little R and B when they sing. Yeah,
- 33:47Speaker 1: but they're massive hits, almost easy listening now hot A, C,
- 33:51Speaker 1: R and B.
- 33:52Speaker 4: White people love it.
- 33:53Speaker 2: My cousin Lero, it's all he listens to, Leroy.
- 33:57Speaker 3: I watched that.
- 33:59Speaker 4: It was fine.
- 33:59Speaker 1: So what what?
- 34:00Speaker 3: What?
- 34:00Speaker 2: What? Did you watch? A documentary on the yacht rock
- 34:02Speaker 2: on HBO.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Yeah, it's the music latest music box one called rock.
- 34:06Speaker 4: I'm looking it up on Spotify to see if they
- 34:09Speaker 4: have like playlists, you know, Oh yeah, I got them
- 34:10Speaker 4: all over Oh.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, h yeah thing.
- 34:12Speaker 4: Okay, who ever heard of it?
- 34:14Speaker 1: Are a yacht rock artists?
- 34:15Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Some of the yacht rock artists include by the way,
- 34:19Speaker 1: it was a genre of smooth, soft rock, lush production,
- 34:23Speaker 1: jazzy influence, sophisticated medalis. Michael McDonald, this is core yacht rock.
- 34:29Speaker 1: The king of yacht rock. They call him, the Doobie Brothers,
- 34:32Speaker 1: Steely Dan, they did a lot of Steely Dante, Kenny Loggins,
- 34:36Speaker 1: Christopher Cross, Yeah, hall of Notes, there you go. They
- 34:42Speaker 1: had Toto in it a bunch because the Toto guys
- 34:45Speaker 1: ended up being session players too.
- 34:46Speaker 2: What did they sing other than Africa Rosanna's the other one?
- 34:53Speaker 1: Chicago? Oh yeah yeah, Chicago, Yeah, Chicago. The song I
- 34:57Speaker 1: Think in the Park. That's it sad. That was no idea, nothing,
- 35:07Speaker 1: no player, baby come back.
- 35:10Speaker 2: Oh yeah, oh yeah, that's a great one.
- 35:12Speaker 1: So yeah, if you're a music nerd, you'll like yeah rock.
- 35:15Speaker 1: If you're not, it's not their best one. But I
- 35:19Speaker 1: didn't know that it was a comedy, like a couple
- 35:20Speaker 1: of guys on social media that created that genre and
- 35:23Speaker 1: then past reinserted all of it.
- 35:26Speaker 2: I recently watched Sly Lives on Hulu.
- 35:29Speaker 1: I saw the preview for that and watching it.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Fly on the Family Stone. I was just getting a
- 35:32Speaker 2: bunch of stuff on TikTok, like little clips, and I'm like,
- 35:34Speaker 2: I gotta watch this. That's really interesting, interesting because it's like, uh,
- 35:39Speaker 2: it's uh. Sly was like he's a radio guy, he's
- 35:42Speaker 2: a radio DJ, and he's like started playing songs like
- 35:44Speaker 2: I can do this really Yeah, So then he just
- 35:46Speaker 2: started making music and it was so different that like
- 35:50Speaker 2: people just loved it. And then how do you how
- 35:52Speaker 2: do you watch it? It's on Hulu?
- 35:53Speaker 1: But is it a movie or series?
- 35:56Speaker 2: I think it's a one time documentary, like maybe an
- 35:58Speaker 2: hour and a half, so it'd be a.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Movie movie documentary.
- 36:02Speaker 2: Pretty cool.
- 36:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna watch it.
- 36:03Speaker 2: But then but then you're like you just realize kind
- 36:07Speaker 2: of how he ended, like how his career.
- 36:09Speaker 1: I don't say anything about that.
- 36:10Speaker 2: I won't, but just like I didn't know that, I
- 36:12Speaker 2: didn't know how his career.
- 36:13Speaker 1: I can't think about how's corrended. I don't know.
- 36:15Speaker 2: So that's a good way to go and do it. Don't.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Here's the namy here and I won't do it. Tom
- 36:20Speaker 1: Brady gifted his team sent a three million dollar watch.
- 36:23Speaker 2: He's gonna lose it because I always lost my mine
- 36:28Speaker 2: and my dad gave me one when I was in
- 36:30Speaker 2: college and I lost it. I lost it for a
- 36:32Speaker 2: year and a half. He gave you, like a really
- 36:34Speaker 2: nice watch, a Rolex really, and I lost it. How'd
- 36:37Speaker 2: you lose it for a year and a half? I
- 36:38Speaker 2: lost it. I just couldn't find it, and I couldn't
- 36:40Speaker 2: tell him that I lost it. Every time I saw
- 36:42Speaker 2: him he would he wouldn't ask. And then finally when
- 36:45Speaker 2: I found it, he said, I was always wondering why
- 36:48Speaker 2: you never told me where your watch was because I
- 36:50Speaker 2: never wore it.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Where did you find it?
- 36:51Speaker 2: Though? It was in my car? So this is a
- 36:52Speaker 2: crazy story, dude. So I lost it somewhere, didn't find
- 36:56Speaker 2: it for a year and a half. And then I
- 36:58Speaker 2: was down in South Texas in the valley at my
- 37:00Speaker 2: aunt's house and my dad said, there's some guys like
- 37:03Speaker 2: just down the street that are washing cars real cheap,
- 37:05Speaker 2: like just get your car, like completely detailed. Cool, no problem.
- 37:09Speaker 2: These guys are shady, man like a group of five
- 37:12Speaker 2: shady dudes that spoke no English wash my car. I
- 37:16Speaker 2: go pick it up, and the guy goes, hey, I
- 37:17Speaker 2: found this in the back.
- 37:18Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, it was my watch.
- 37:21Speaker 1: She feel bad about thinking there was our shady yeah,
- 37:24Speaker 1: And I said.
- 37:24Speaker 2: To you, do you know what that is? Like, yeah,
- 37:26Speaker 2: he's a Rodex And I was like, that's crazy. You
- 37:31Speaker 2: so you know that that's an expensive watch. You're like, yes, yes,
- 37:34Speaker 2: a nice watch.
- 37:35Speaker 1: So question one, was it protected back there or was
- 37:37Speaker 1: it just loose in your trunk.
- 37:39Speaker 2: It's like it had fallen like I've maybe fallen between
- 37:41Speaker 2: a seat or something. Have no idea. Man oh man, wow?
- 37:45Speaker 1: And so did you feel bad? Did you learn a
- 37:47Speaker 1: life lesson from judging a book by its cover?
- 37:49Speaker 5: On?
- 37:50Speaker 2: And I was probably twenty three, so and I didn't
- 37:54Speaker 2: have a lot of money, but I I tipped the
- 37:56Speaker 2: guy one hundred dollars, like, I just thought it was
- 37:58Speaker 2: that importance for him to realize, like he could have
- 38:02Speaker 2: kept it.
- 38:02Speaker 1: He easily could have stolen because it was free. I mean,
- 38:05Speaker 1: it was just out wow.
- 38:09Speaker 2: So that's why I'm saying Tom Brady that in a.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Video recap of the NFL Legend Super Bowl Sunday, he's
- 38:14Speaker 1: seen surprising his team Benny, with a massive watch.
- 38:16Speaker 3: Quote.
- 38:16Speaker 1: All right, Benny, closed your eyes and put your wrist out.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Don't look, Brady said, before putting Jacob and Coast billionaire
- 38:22Speaker 1: Mini a Shaka watch, which is covered one hundred carrots
- 38:25Speaker 1: of diamonds worth three million bucks on his son's wrist.
- 38:28Speaker 1: That's crazy, Like I have some nice watches. I became
- 38:30Speaker 1: watch guy. I don't have nothing like this, nothing nothing
- 38:34Speaker 1: like this. So I have some nice watches and I
- 38:40Speaker 1: like them a lot. I try to keep them from
- 38:41Speaker 1: like hitting stuff, but when I do sometimes.
- 38:43Speaker 3: I do hurts.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like I hit like a bruise on my
- 38:46Speaker 1: body had a bruise. Like ou, it's just a watch.
- 38:50Speaker 1: So I like watches. I have one on today. I
- 38:55Speaker 1: have a red Rolex on. It's my red one that
- 38:57Speaker 1: I have.
- 38:57Speaker 2: That's a nice, very nice.
- 38:59Speaker 1: It's the most expensive watch I've ever worn.
- 39:04Speaker 4: Was not mine.
- 39:05Speaker 1: I was on a flight with Luke Bryan to American
- 39:09Speaker 1: Idol and Hawaii, and so we were going from here
- 39:13Speaker 1: to Hawaii. He won't care because he was on the
- 39:15Speaker 1: NFL show talking about this on his plane, so not Southwest, Nope.
- 39:19Speaker 1: And he had a bunch of watches and some of
- 39:22Speaker 1: them may have been his, and some of them may
- 39:24Speaker 1: have been watches that they were loaning him to wear.
- 39:26Speaker 1: And these were two hundred fifty thousand our watches.
- 39:28Speaker 2: It was just like in a case or something like, yeah,
- 39:30Speaker 2: I was.
- 39:30Speaker 1: He was just like put ime on. I was like cool,
- 39:32Speaker 1: So I did.
- 39:33Speaker 2: That's fun.
- 39:33Speaker 1: He's crazy. Luke and I were planet Watch dress up
- 39:36Speaker 1: in the back of his in the back of the
- 39:37Speaker 1: plane because how much.
- 39:39Speaker 2: Was the most expensive watch probably.
- 39:42Speaker 1: About a quarter million.
- 39:43Speaker 3: Woo.
- 39:45Speaker 2: Yeah, that's crazy.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Was it heavy? And at the time, I was not
- 39:47Speaker 1: watch guy, so I didn't fully respect the kind of
- 39:51Speaker 1: watch it was. I just respected, Oh my god, I
- 39:52Speaker 1: can't believe this is worth that much money. I then
- 39:55Speaker 1: became watch guy because I just wanted to do something
- 39:57Speaker 1: that made me look at old, because a lot of
- 39:59Speaker 1: times I just dressed like pan swear a hoodie, your
- 40:01Speaker 1: sweats to everything, and so I became watch guy. And
- 40:06Speaker 1: not all my watches are super expensive. I have some
- 40:08Speaker 1: really coolin so my wife got me one that's not
- 40:09Speaker 1: super expensive that has like the state of Arkansas and
- 40:11Speaker 1: initials on it. But you know, I remember putting on
- 40:14Speaker 1: going I got a quarter million dollars on my wrist.
- 40:16Speaker 1: They're crazy, It's crazy.
- 40:17Speaker 2: They keep showing one on Instagram. The keeps goming on
- 40:20Speaker 2: my feet. It's like a Roulette wheel.
- 40:22Speaker 1: I'm like, gosh, I'm not a watch guy at all.
- 40:23Speaker 1: The only wife seeing the Roulette one, and I'm like,
- 40:25Speaker 1: I want to buy this. You can probably get there
- 40:27Speaker 1: a couple undred bucks. Really, let me see which one
- 40:30Speaker 1: you're talking about. I'm sure there's a very expensive one. Too,
- 40:36Speaker 1: but usually anything that's super expensive they made a kind
- 40:38Speaker 1: of a knockoff of that's not even a knockoff. It's
- 40:40Speaker 1: just another brand that makes one that looks similar. Like
- 40:42Speaker 1: everybody steals Rolexes. Look, a lot of these brands try
- 40:45Speaker 1: to steal the shape and the look. They're not doing
- 40:48Speaker 1: knockoffs there doing their own brand. Did you know Rolex
- 40:50Speaker 1: is also a They don't make profit. They are a
- 40:54Speaker 1: nonprofit nonprofit.
- 40:55Speaker 4: Really did not know that. I had a roommate once
- 40:58Speaker 4: who had two Rolexes, big watch guy, successful guy, and
- 41:03Speaker 4: he would just screw like a drywall screw into the
- 41:05Speaker 4: wall and just hang his Rolexes on that screw, like
- 41:08Speaker 4: mid twenties, which they would wear them, and he would
- 41:12Speaker 4: wear them, and then when he wouldn't wear them and
- 41:13Speaker 4: take them off and just hang them the drivewalls. Screw
- 41:16Speaker 4: you sure they were real? Yeah?
- 41:18Speaker 1: Oh, never hang them on them. Never.
- 41:20Speaker 4: Its wild. We would always make fun of them.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Rolex is technically a nonprofit organization. Rolex is owned by
- 41:26Speaker 1: the Hans Willsdorf Foundation, a private nonprofit trust established by
- 41:30Speaker 1: Hans Wildorf in nineteen forty five. The foundation controls the
- 41:32Speaker 1: company and reportedly reinvest profits into the business, charitable causes,
- 41:36Speaker 1: and scientific research. Unlike typical nonprofits. Rolex sells luxury watches
- 41:41Speaker 1: at a profit, but because it's owned by a foundation,
- 41:43Speaker 1: it does not operate like a publicly traded business, so
- 41:48Speaker 1: the profit they make goes so they do make a profit,
- 41:51Speaker 1: but the profit they make goes back into their business
- 41:55Speaker 1: and science and nonprofit.
- 42:00Speaker 2: There you go.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Reinvestment have been charitable causes and scientific exploreding uh, exploring grants.
- 42:06Speaker 4: Huh. I never knew that.
- 42:08Speaker 1: That's interesting.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Tamu, is that a brand?
- 42:17Speaker 1: Is that the brand? You saw?
- 42:18Speaker 2: I think so?
- 42:20Speaker 1: Maybe I'm not it's actually t e m u.
- 42:27Speaker 6: Oh no, you don't want that?
- 42:28Speaker 2: Man?
- 42:29Speaker 1: What is that?
- 42:30Speaker 4: A team?
- 42:31Speaker 1: You watch the official site or at team you dot com.
- 42:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna do team you watch?
- 42:37Speaker 2: What is just called roulette? Roulette? Will okay?
- 42:41Speaker 1: Man forty three? Hey, let's go, yeah, let's go. Now
- 42:46Speaker 1: what I wonder is if there's a roulette one that
- 42:49Speaker 1: is super expensive, because roulette watch expensive. You can get
- 42:56Speaker 1: a rose Gold roulette it's called a Lucky Harvey for
- 43:00Speaker 1: one thousand dollars. Oh, here's one a Jacob and Co.
- 43:03Speaker 1: It's four hundred ninety thousand dollars the rule.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Well, yeah, that's cool. This is it dinner with your buddies. Like,
- 43:10Speaker 2: all right, let's put place bets. I'm gonna spend it.
- 43:13Speaker 3: Boom.
- 43:13Speaker 2: Pick a number.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Anywhere from your forty dollars to half a million dollars
- 43:18Speaker 1: for couch. I like how you called them my forty
- 43:20Speaker 1: dollars because that is definitely my watch. Yeah, I figured
- 43:23Speaker 1: if that were the case. Here's one for three hundred
- 43:25Speaker 1: thousand dang casino ter billion. I don't know how to
- 43:29Speaker 1: say this stuff. Yeah, that's crazy.
- 43:31Speaker 2: It's a cool watch, though.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Huh. Here's one for eight thousand, nine hundred ny five dollars.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Do you want to get that one somewhere in the
- 43:37Speaker 1: middle cheap one cheaper.
- 43:39Speaker 4: One for you?
- 43:40Speaker 3: No?
- 43:40Speaker 2: I would, I don't.
- 43:41Speaker 1: I wouldn't like that, Oh you wouldn't. That's too distracting
- 43:43Speaker 1: because I don't want to play it all the time.
- 43:45Speaker 2: I want to sit in the wheel.
- 43:48Speaker 4: One.
- 43:48Speaker 1: Sodo bought a car for giving up the number twenty two?
- 43:52Speaker 1: Who do you buy it for? Uh?
- 43:55Speaker 4: Bred Batty?
- 43:57Speaker 1: Does that he say his name?
- 43:59Speaker 2: Yeah? Think of the at I have Beatty.
- 44:01Speaker 1: I think it's baby. I only see him on baseball cards.
- 44:03Speaker 3: Me too.
- 44:04Speaker 1: I don't even know. I don't ever watch the Mets play.
- 44:07Speaker 1: When one Soto made the jump from the Yankees to
- 44:09Speaker 1: the Mets, he had one small problem. His number twenty
- 44:11Speaker 1: two was already on Brett Batty. Batty was willing to
- 44:15Speaker 1: give up his jersey number to help Sodo. And then
- 44:17Speaker 1: he bought a car, a brand new Suv, fully loaded,
- 44:19Speaker 1: trim decked out. Also with the car a Roulette watch.
- 44:26Speaker 2: Did we talk about Carson Beck's car? Did we talk?
- 44:29Speaker 1: No? We did a girl where they were taking but
- 44:31Speaker 1: they found did they find him? Finally, because I can
- 44:33Speaker 1: give you the story from last week, the Miami Hurricanes
- 44:36Speaker 1: power couple of Carson Beck and Hannah Cavender had three
- 44:39Speaker 1: cars stolen overnight in South Florida. Beck had two cars
- 44:43Speaker 1: and Mercedes and a Lamborghini taken, while Cavender's SUV was
- 44:46Speaker 1: stolen but later found that may be the one that
- 44:48Speaker 1: I saw that they found it.
- 44:51Speaker 2: This dude has a Lamborghinian Mercedes Benz.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Then they just break in the house and get the
- 44:56Speaker 1: keys like it wasn't any high highly fisticated operation. I
- 45:00Speaker 1: think they just got into the house, Oh here are
- 45:03Speaker 1: the keys, and stole the cars. If they found in
- 45:07Speaker 1: the morning. Yeah, they find these cars. It's sound like
- 45:10Speaker 1: the Lamborghini can stay hidden unless you're stripping it down
- 45:13Speaker 1: or driving it out of the country.
- 45:16Speaker 4: Yeah, they just jumped his fence and stole the cars
- 45:18Speaker 4: just right out of his driveway.
- 45:20Speaker 1: He has a Mercedes and a Lamborghini's.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Is that Is that Miami money or yes? Is that
- 45:27Speaker 2: Miami money.
- 45:27Speaker 1: I'm sure some could be Georgia, but I think they
- 45:29Speaker 1: paid him four million according to the stories.
- 45:31Speaker 4: And probably a deal with Lamborghini on his car. Yeah,
- 45:35Speaker 4: like name and then his girlfriend would the Androver.
- 45:38Speaker 1: They have a ton of money. Yeah, Cavender twins.
- 45:40Speaker 2: Dude, I saw a Lamborghini on the road the other day.
- 45:43Speaker 2: That's pretty that's pretty rare. Like usually I think I
- 45:45Speaker 2: see a Lamborghini and it's like Corvette. But I saw
- 45:47Speaker 2: a real Lamborghini. And I was with my kids and
- 45:50Speaker 2: they were about to go like over a speed bump,
- 45:52Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh, you think he like slows down?
- 45:54Speaker 2: Do you think he's gonna go for it? Like I
- 45:55Speaker 2: think he's a slow down? Sure enough, he went real
- 45:58Speaker 2: slow because those things scray they're so low to the ground.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Not practical at all, but cool looking. What do you
- 46:05Speaker 1: think about when someone buys a Lamborghini suv?
- 46:09Speaker 4: Oh those are they have those?
- 46:11Speaker 1: Do you feel like it's a waste and it's not
- 46:12Speaker 1: really a Lamborghini. Yeah, you gotta get the sports car. Yeah,
- 46:14Speaker 1: I feel like a Lamborghini is a Lamborghini. But if
- 46:17Speaker 1: you're like going to get an suv, that's kind of
- 46:19Speaker 1: a waste to get a Lamborghini suv. I don't know
- 46:21Speaker 1: if about cars.
- 46:22Speaker 5: Like if I if I had a buddy and he's like, yeah, dude,
- 46:24Speaker 5: I just got a Lamborghini, come check it out and
- 46:25Speaker 5: I walk out and it's an suv, I'd be like.
- 46:27Speaker 1: Dude, I like kind of disappointed.
- 46:29Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, but you could, like, like Teddy's point, you
- 46:32Speaker 4: can't really drive over anything in a real Lamborghini quote unquote,
- 46:35Speaker 4: like an suv you can, I don't know, you can
- 46:37Speaker 4: have more fun with that.
- 46:37Speaker 1: I feel like you can, but it's not it doesn't
- 46:39Speaker 1: feel like that's a real Lamborghini.
- 46:41Speaker 2: Does the SCV fly?
- 46:42Speaker 4: Like, what's the Lamborghini a Lamborghini suv?
- 46:50Speaker 2: Like if it goes two hundred miles per hour, like
- 46:53Speaker 2: it's still a Lamborghini, then Lamborghini.
- 46:55Speaker 1: It's pretty nice Lamborghini. Oh, it's for sure going to
- 46:58Speaker 1: be nice.
- 46:58Speaker 2: It's nice top speed on one ninety.
- 47:01Speaker 1: What do you see as the price on it? For
- 47:03Speaker 1: some reason, I have Lamborghini model cars. That's cool too, Lamborghini,
- 47:09Speaker 1: the Lambeau Urus. Okay, two and seventy five thousand. Okay,
- 47:16Speaker 1: well it's about the same price as like a low
- 47:18Speaker 1: end Lamborghini. Really like car.
- 47:22Speaker 4: That cat.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Was it wasn't a car. It was suv.
- 47:26Speaker 4: Oh I thought he had like because now that it
- 47:28Speaker 4: says Urus that I remember just reading about that, I'm
- 47:30Speaker 4: pretty sure that's one that was his. Lamba was a Urus.
- 47:32Speaker 2: Oh well that's deceiving.
- 47:34Speaker 1: Okay, see that's my point.
- 47:35Speaker 2: Now you're right, And that's the one still missing. I
- 47:39Speaker 2: am underwelling.
- 47:41Speaker 1: Why is it giving me all kids toys? I it's
- 47:46Speaker 1: all models.
- 47:47Speaker 2: They're like keeping it real. You're not going to buy one.
- 47:49Speaker 1: So here there's something you might actually write. Yeah, so
- 47:53Speaker 1: that's one still gone. There's one still missing. Yeah, that
- 47:56Speaker 1: one's missing. If on the other two arrested the people
- 47:59Speaker 1: is it a Chilean gang? I did not see a
- 48:03Speaker 1: description of the gang. A technology students being mocked on
- 48:06Speaker 1: social media for setting his dorm on fire while trying
- 48:08Speaker 1: to hide his inflatable girlfriend.
- 48:10Speaker 4: Oh lord, that's rough.
- 48:14Speaker 1: According to the post on February tenth, the student enrolled
- 48:19Speaker 1: in the university was thrown into a panic after his
- 48:21Speaker 1: roommate returned unexpectedly. Rushing into the hallway. The student tried
- 48:24Speaker 1: to burn the doll, but ended up triggering the campus fire,
- 48:26Speaker 1: along filling the dormitory with flames and smoke. No one
- 48:30Speaker 1: was harming the blaze. The student was discilined to face
- 48:32Speaker 1: the wrath of the internet for embarrassing. For the embarrassing ordeal,
- 48:34Speaker 1: So he's trying to have sex with the doll, tried
- 48:36Speaker 1: to get rid of the doll by burning it and
- 48:37Speaker 1: set the dorm on fire.
- 48:39Speaker 2: That's embarrassing, and now everyone knows he has a doll.
- 48:45Speaker 2: I just have one. He dates one.
- 48:47Speaker 4: He had a transfer.
- 48:49Speaker 1: An investigation starts after a woman wakes up in a
- 48:51Speaker 1: bar bathroom after the bar was closed. A woman woke
- 48:56Speaker 1: up alone in a closed Boston bar with no idea
- 48:58Speaker 1: how she ended up there. It happened in last September
- 49:00Speaker 1: when the woman called police after two am and reported
- 49:03Speaker 1: that she woke up alone inside a bathroom at ned
- 49:05Speaker 1: Divine's Bar. The woman suspected that she had been drugged
- 49:08Speaker 1: by a contaminated drink, although her toxicology report revealed she
- 49:11Speaker 1: had no drugs in her system. Okay, so you think
- 49:14Speaker 1: she's got so drunk because if they did a toxicology
- 49:18Speaker 1: and there are no drugs, unless there's like, yeah, that
- 49:22Speaker 1: possibly right, but that's that's so drunk.
- 49:23Speaker 4: Yeah yeah.
- 49:24Speaker 1: Management of ned Divine says staff has been retained to
- 49:27Speaker 1: check and clear all spaces before closing. The woman was unharmed.
- 49:30Speaker 1: W hdh ever been so drunk? You wake up somebody
- 49:33Speaker 1: you didn't remember?
- 49:34Speaker 4: Oh yeah?
- 49:35Speaker 2: Who said?
- 49:35Speaker 1: Yeah? Oh yeah you have Kevin?
- 49:36Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 49:36Speaker 4: A couple of times.
- 49:38Speaker 1: What does that feel like?
- 49:39Speaker 3: Uh?
- 49:40Speaker 4: When I was younger, it was like, oh man, what happened?
- 49:42Speaker 4: And then like the older you get, you're like.
- 49:44Speaker 3: What the heck?
- 49:45Speaker 2: Well, when's the last time it happened? Hmmm?
- 49:47Speaker 4: I can't even remember. It's been a while, but I'm
- 49:50Speaker 4: also in my thirties, so probably the late twenties or something.
- 49:53Speaker 4: Was it scary?
- 49:54Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 49:55Speaker 1: Yeah, because you don't because I would think I wouldn't
- 49:57Speaker 1: know what I what else I did? Right, Like that
- 49:58Speaker 1: would be the scariest part.
- 50:00Speaker 4: That's what you're nervous about like, holy crap, did I
- 50:02Speaker 4: do something that I don't remember but I'm going to
- 50:03Speaker 4: find out later today. Like the anxiety you call that
- 50:06Speaker 4: the PTSD or the post party depression PPD. Post party Yeah,
- 50:11Speaker 4: oh that's what you call that, where you're just like
- 50:12Speaker 4: have anxiety about like, holy crap, what did I do
- 50:15Speaker 4: last night?
- 50:16Speaker 2: Was it completely different than where you were all night?
- 50:19Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 50:19Speaker 4: Yeah, like you're at it, so you're at it? Well, yeah,
- 50:21Speaker 4: say you're at a party, right, and then you wake
- 50:23Speaker 4: up on a couch maybe or somebody else's house that
- 50:27Speaker 4: you don't remember going to hopefully you know the person.
- 50:32Speaker 1: What was yours?
- 50:32Speaker 4: Casey?
- 50:33Speaker 7: I woke up in the woods and Syracuse after like
- 50:37Speaker 7: I just got initiated in my fraternity. We had a
- 50:40Speaker 7: really fun time, and then I just woke up in
- 50:42Speaker 7: the forest like right by my my campus dorm, and
- 50:45Speaker 7: I had no idea what happened.
- 50:47Speaker 1: And uh yeah, I had a lot of the pp
- 50:49Speaker 1: SD PPD PPD.
- 50:51Speaker 4: Yeah, post party depression.
- 50:52Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, but if you're doing that while you're rushing, yeah,
- 50:56Speaker 1: you at least know your boys know what happened to you.
- 50:59Speaker 1: I think I like Irish exited though, because I was
- 51:02Speaker 1: like in the forest by myself.
- 51:04Speaker 2: I threw you there. I think they threw you.
- 51:06Speaker 1: He hates the song, Oh come to us. Nothing stuck
- 51:09Speaker 1: because they abducted him from his room. Yeah, and took
- 51:12Speaker 1: him to the woods. Yeah, keep going.
- 51:15Speaker 6: Yeah, I just I just I was left there, man,
- 51:19Speaker 6: what I mean, I just had to find my way.
- 51:23Speaker 6: I don't I don't like bringing that up. Man, that's scary.
- 51:26Speaker 2: We're waiting.
- 51:29Speaker 6: Anyway. I was blindfolded and I was driven out into
- 51:33Speaker 6: the middle of nowhere. And that's that's all that I remember.
- 51:35Speaker 1: Did they do anything to you, No, but I did
- 51:38Speaker 1: on my pledge retreat.
- 51:40Speaker 5: That was my one time that I blacked out. So
- 51:44Speaker 5: I just remember drinking a bunch. We were out in
- 51:46Speaker 5: the middle of a like in a cabin, and then
- 51:48Speaker 5: I remember waking up in like a makeshift bed, but
- 51:51Speaker 5: I was in completely new clothes.
- 51:54Speaker 4: WHOA, So someone someone changed my clothes for me.
- 51:58Speaker 5: Apparently I got in the bath tub, decided to like
- 52:02Speaker 5: turn the shower on, and threw up all over myself.
- 52:06Speaker 1: And then so they changed your clothes because you had
- 52:08Speaker 1: vomited on yourself more than they wanted to see Reeds private.
- 52:10Speaker 6: Exactly, exactly so that was my one, one and done time.
- 52:15Speaker 6: Not not a great time in life?
- 52:16Speaker 1: You haven't done that?
- 52:17Speaker 2: Do these stories make you? I don't want to drink.
- 52:20Speaker 1: I wish I had some stories because they'd be fun
- 52:24Speaker 1: to tell, but I don't want to have them. Now.
- 52:28Speaker 2: That's like Kevin, it's like too old.
- 52:31Speaker 1: If I lived through it and told and had it,
- 52:33Speaker 1: that's a fun story in my pocket. But I don't
- 52:34Speaker 1: want to go right. I'm good.
- 52:36Speaker 4: We lost the buddy one time. He woke up in
- 52:38Speaker 4: a graveyard. You lost him?
- 52:39Speaker 2: He died.
- 52:39Speaker 4: Yeah, we were at stage coach. No, no, we're at
- 52:42Speaker 4: stage coach.
- 52:42Speaker 6: And that's not how you say that.
- 52:45Speaker 1: Yeah, that's not how you say that.
- 52:48Speaker 4: In a graveyard?
- 52:49Speaker 3: Did me?
- 52:49Speaker 2: He pulled to me? Yeah, yeah, how do you wake
- 52:52Speaker 2: up in a graveyard?
- 52:53Speaker 6: He doesn't know.
- 52:55Speaker 2: I got kicked out of a club one time for
- 52:57Speaker 2: falling asleep in the club.
- 53:00Speaker 1: Yeah, passed out or you were just I was.
- 53:01Speaker 2: Like, I just need to lay down, and I laid
- 53:03Speaker 2: down on the couch, cheeze, and then I woke up
- 53:05Speaker 2: and I must have been asleep for like two seconds
- 53:07Speaker 2: or whatever. The guy's like, hey, no, no, no, you're
- 53:09Speaker 2: out of here. Get out you can't be here. You
- 53:11Speaker 2: did you do?
- 53:12Speaker 1: Diagnose yourself with planer facy.
- 53:14Speaker 4: It is what I'm called why my heel hurts bad?
- 53:17Speaker 2: Like, my heel just hurts all day and like to
- 53:20Speaker 2: the point where and it's usually it's been to it's
- 53:22Speaker 2: been hurting for like I don't know, like four months
- 53:24Speaker 2: or so, but anytime I walk or use it, it
- 53:27Speaker 2: goes away. And then kind of when I sit on
- 53:29Speaker 2: the couch and put my legs up and then then
- 53:32Speaker 2: stand on it, it hurts again. But that's not happeningymore.
- 53:35Speaker 4: Now. It just hurts all day.
- 53:36Speaker 1: So what am I doing to make it not hurt?
- 53:38Speaker 2: I got a little tennis ball and kind of rolling it. Yeah,
- 53:40Speaker 2: I'm doing some stretches that I found online. But I'm
- 53:43Speaker 2: I'm assuming it's plantar fascia itis.
- 53:45Speaker 1: Because diagnosed yourself. Whether it has to be what the
- 53:47Speaker 1: internet says, Yeah.
- 53:48Speaker 2: It probably is.
- 53:49Speaker 1: It's common.
- 53:50Speaker 2: Have you guys had it?
- 53:52Speaker 1: No?
- 53:53Speaker 2: I never had.
- 53:54Speaker 3: No.
- 53:55Speaker 1: I thought I had it, and I diagnosed myself with
- 53:57Speaker 1: it and I was wrong.
- 53:58Speaker 2: So what did you have?
- 54:00Speaker 1: I lost some cartilage and my foot and ankle from
- 54:04Speaker 1: an injury. Dang, And so that's why now I have
- 54:07Speaker 1: to take those an inflammatories. If I'm like cutting a bunch,
- 54:10Speaker 1: if I'm spreading or playing pickaball, I have to take
- 54:12Speaker 1: an inflammatories because it hurts so bad. It's bone on bone.
- 54:16Speaker 2: Yeah, is it your heel? No, okay, it was.
- 54:19Speaker 1: It got so bad it got into my heel. But
- 54:22Speaker 1: that's only because it got so bad. I was like,
- 54:24Speaker 1: what's on my heel? So it must be that it
- 54:25Speaker 1: wasn't mine?
- 54:26Speaker 2: Is crazy?
- 54:27Speaker 1: Wee?
- 54:27Speaker 2: Here's what good?
- 54:28Speaker 1: No, it's loss of what's crazy is injury? Man?
- 54:30Speaker 2: Order you Like, I stretch my heel or whatever, but
- 54:33Speaker 2: then my calf starts kind of like hurting a little bit.
- 54:36Speaker 2: So it's like, it's just weird how everything's all connected.
- 54:38Speaker 2: Like when I broke my arm, It's like I broke
- 54:40Speaker 2: right where my elbow is, but it hurt all the
- 54:42Speaker 2: way up to my shoulder. Like everything is oddly connected.
- 54:45Speaker 1: You get a massage on it?
- 54:47Speaker 2: On what on my heel?
- 54:48Speaker 1: Your feet? No?
- 54:50Speaker 2: No, should I do that.
- 54:51Speaker 1: I hired somebody to come to my house and just
- 54:53Speaker 1: do my feet and my calves whenever, because it started
- 54:56Speaker 1: hurting so bad, just to loosen it all up. Because
- 54:58Speaker 1: if one thing's off and you start to run with
- 55:00Speaker 1: favoring the unhurt side a little bit, yes, and that
- 55:03Speaker 1: leg gets jacked up and so then everything's off.
- 55:05Speaker 2: That's what the internet said to said, don't do that.
- 55:07Speaker 4: I got a pedicure the other day, not the same.
- 55:11Speaker 4: It was nice, I recommend it, not the same.
- 55:14Speaker 1: Not the same.
- 55:14Speaker 2: Do you go to just like massage Envy?
- 55:16Speaker 1: For that, I have to make come to the house
- 55:17Speaker 1: physical therapist.
- 55:19Speaker 2: No, but me like, I'm not gonna do that. Like
- 55:20Speaker 2: do I just go to how much Marsagejimmy costs?
- 55:22Speaker 1: No? Massage parlor, No, that's a different thing. Massage parlor
- 55:27Speaker 1: feels like where you get.
- 55:27Speaker 2: The Yeah, oh it's not. It's not just a regular parlor.
- 55:30Speaker 1: I would say.
- 55:31Speaker 4: I'm like going to.
- 55:34Speaker 2: A spa.
- 55:34Speaker 1: I would say, going to sure.
- 55:36Speaker 2: A spa or a.
- 55:39Speaker 4: Where do you go for don't I don't even get
- 55:42Speaker 4: a massage parlor?
- 55:44Speaker 2: Say it on the windows.
- 55:46Speaker 1: It's just no, no, no parlor parlor is the word.
- 55:49Speaker 1: This sounds dirty to me, and I could be wrong,
- 55:51Speaker 1: and I don't think those places do that. I'm saying,
- 55:54Speaker 1: but if I see massage parlor, parlor feels weird.
- 55:57Speaker 2: You're saying, like Robert Kraft went to a slage part
- 56:00Speaker 2: of parlor, not a massage place. Justin Tucker massage parlor.
- 56:04Speaker 3: Parlor.
- 56:05Speaker 6: Parlor is like it's a it's a place where you
- 56:07Speaker 6: go like wash your clothes and stuff. But it's in
- 56:09Speaker 6: the back it is.
- 56:11Speaker 4: Is that real?
- 56:12Speaker 5: No, But that's just well, parlor feels like it's it's
- 56:15Speaker 5: not the main thing, got it?
- 56:18Speaker 4: Oh yeah, anyway, good luck.
- 56:20Speaker 3: So I just go.
- 56:21Speaker 1: What does it costs? Because I can tell you right now, it's.
- 56:23Speaker 4: Like an hour can be nowadays anywhere between one hundred,
- 56:26Speaker 4: two hundred and fifty.
- 56:26Speaker 6: Yeah, I got a massage and massage you can get this.
- 56:29Speaker 1: I'm telling you. You can get the same pay this
- 56:32Speaker 1: exact same thing. And the woman that I use come
- 56:35Speaker 1: to your house. You don't have to go to the
- 56:36Speaker 1: freaking massage passage. She's awesome.
- 56:39Speaker 4: She brings the table and everything she does nice.
- 56:42Speaker 1: And I just tell her, like, work on my heel, Well,
- 56:44Speaker 1: I would say, work on both. She'll make sure to
- 56:46Speaker 1: do you evenly, so you're one side, because when I
- 56:49Speaker 1: was hurt, she would work on that side a bunch,
- 56:51Speaker 1: but SHED have to the other side to just to
- 56:52Speaker 1: make sure it was all even.
- 56:52Speaker 2: Oh okay, makes sense.
- 56:55Speaker 1: I can hook you up.
- 56:55Speaker 2: I'll give you a number, all right, that'd be cool, yeah,
- 56:57Speaker 2: because they'd be the same price.
- 56:58Speaker 1: But I would get that worked out, but not by
- 56:59Speaker 1: somebody that is a just doing massages for fun or
- 57:04Speaker 1: for make to make you feel good, to actually work
- 57:07Speaker 1: it out and it hurts.
- 57:09Speaker 2: Do you remember when I went to my first massage?
- 57:11Speaker 2: It's crazy, my butt.
- 57:14Speaker 3: It was in Vegas.
- 57:15Speaker 2: It was a Vegas ves but the guys it wasn't shady.
- 57:19Speaker 1: It was legit, but the way you toned it it
- 57:21Speaker 1: felt shady because I'd never gotten a massage in my life.
- 57:24Speaker 1: And I was working for the news and it was
- 57:26Speaker 1: me and my reporter, and my reporter was like, he
- 57:27Speaker 1: was from New York and he goes, dude, you got
- 57:29Speaker 1: a massage.
- 57:30Speaker 2: Let's I'll buy one for you. Just because I was
- 57:31Speaker 2: this photographer. I was like, well that's cool. He's like,
- 57:34Speaker 2: let's go. Let's go down there. And it was the
- 57:35Speaker 2: hotel place and like I'd never gotten one before, and
- 57:40Speaker 2: they're like, take your clothes off, and I'm like all like,
- 57:44Speaker 2: I'll take it all off, and took it all off.
- 57:46Speaker 3: It was crazy.
- 57:47Speaker 1: You thought that was weird?
- 57:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I did to.
- 57:49Speaker 1: I don't play my clothes off.
- 57:50Speaker 3: You don't know.
- 57:52Speaker 2: Oh, I think that's part of it.
- 57:53Speaker 1: I do want to wear I guess they I always
- 57:56Speaker 1: keep mine to wear on it. I just want people
- 57:58Speaker 1: seeing my testicles.
- 57:59Speaker 2: That's that's true. That's true. But they're pretty good at
- 58:01Speaker 2: like covering stuff as you pretty good to me. Is
