- 0:39SPEAKER_00: Now it's not just a high school.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: Well, in Australia we call it college.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: And part, yes, comment is there is a high school, but this is a more private school.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: So what I'm gonna be sharing is Cabinet Dominican College is a high school in the southeast or east-south of Adelaide.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: I went to a reunion with a friend, caught up with a few friends from, you know, and catch up talking to teachers and stuff.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: But the part thing I really wanted to share is the school song.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: Now, why do we have school song?
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: Any one I'm gonna share.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: It's we're about the journey together, and I'll explain so called the the good, the beautiful, and the truth.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: Now they're two formal students from the school.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: So I'll explain how I like I like to share that at the end of today's episode or in this episode.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: So how can I reflect on the day?
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: It was amazing, beautiful day.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: Unfortunately, I really like to go to the Nord Sturt Grand Final on the day, and it's a bit disappointment.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: I didn't go.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: I'm disappointment, but 38,000 plus is amazing.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: But this is the interesting fact.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: The anything else I wanted to share is Cabra is a big school.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: So not gonna say I was talking to teachers for a few minutes, but I spoke to one of my well, he wasn't my PE teacher.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: He said educational.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: That's what it's called in in PE.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: So, so well, there's some history.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: I've learned.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: I learned about, you know, one of, like I said, he wasn't a my PE teacher, but he was a physed and he's still there, still amazing.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: Like he uh, my old teacher, one of the old teachers I spoke to in the in sport gym and in the school, and talking about a few.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: So a former old scholar Jason Williams, who used to play for the 36ers in the 90s.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: He's an old scholar, he was on the dustboard.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: You know, I didn't even know that it just went batting a lot of memory.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: 36 players.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: 36 players.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: You know, you're on the 36ers list, you gotta work for it.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: How amazing this is.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: And it's great, absolutely great.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: But the other thing I really enjoyed is going to different parts of the school, such as like the areas called St.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: Catherine's Square, which is at the middle part of the school.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: And just it's just one of the squares of history of the school.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: So I just want to let you all know.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: But anyway, moving forward, I want to say, Caba is a sports and music art school.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: Partly it's being a private school, so it's a it's known as a covery.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: Oh, saying that shortly, but amazing how the music came together, they had a band play, they had a schedule, and it was amazing.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: Like, I am so lucky to be part of it.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: They had food, you can yet take five dollars a strain off from the food of your choice.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: They had like four options, so there's lots and lots of food to choose from.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: So that is amazing, that is.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: So moving into our net part of so overall the day went really well.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: They do have a educational unit with people with like myself, a disability, so learning disability, and we're part of a mainstream school, part of the which history since 1982.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: So a long time of how we're very lucky.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: 20, 44 years in history.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: Next year will be 45 years.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: So I'm really happy.

- 4:38SPEAKER_00: I do catch up all the time more than ever.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: So, but now we're gonna finish up.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: Finishing up with the most important, the school song.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: Now, it's it's called the The Good, the Beautiful, and the Truth.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: Have I got that correct?
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the good, the beautiful, and the truth.
