SPEAKER_01: I realized that whatever you call a thing is what it becomes to you.
0:03
SPEAKER_01: So for me, I was like, I have to call something that I want to represent.
0:07
SPEAKER_01: So this is where I came up with the name High Definition.
0:10
SPEAKER_05: What led you into the path of wanting to coach people and help them with their self-development?
0:15
SPEAKER_01: I realized that was an innate ability that had it was a calling that was always upon my life.
0:19
SPEAKER_01: For 1095 days, I was applying and applying, and I said, no, something has to change.
0:25
SPEAKER_01: No one's coming to save me.
0:26
SPEAKER_01: That's the first thing I told myself.
0:27
SPEAKER_01: I sat down and said, if no one's going to hire me, I'm gonna hire myself.
0:30
SPEAKER_05: How were you able to get other people to also be inspired by the things you say?
0:36
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
0:38
SPEAKER_01: A lot of people think that the number one thing they need to start any business is capital.
0:44
SPEAKER_01: One thing I always tell my clients is that we are a co-creator of our reality.
0:47
SPEAKER_01: So that means that reality can never be rigid, it can never be fixed.
0:52
SPEAKER_05: I'm going to say this thing.
1:12
SPEAKER_05: Before we jump into the conversation, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for supporting and deciding to watch this episode.

1:56
SPEAKER_05: Now, this episode, I'm joined by a fellow coach who's going to help us delve into certain topics.
2:01
SPEAKER_05: You know, I keep saying week in, week out, that you need to prepare yourself for the future that you want for yourself.
2:09
SPEAKER_05: You need to build your mind, build your tools.
2:12
SPEAKER_05: And sometimes our only job is to guide you along that path.

2:24
SPEAKER_05: And Rudolph here is going to help me guide you today.
2:27
SPEAKER_05: Rudolph, welcome to Mastermind.
2:29
SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much for having me.
2:30
SPEAKER_01: How are you doing?
2:31
SPEAKER_05: I am awesome like that.
2:32
SPEAKER_05: I'm always in an awesome mood when we're coming to have conversations.
2:35
SPEAKER_01: Good, good, good, good, good, good.
2:37
SPEAKER_05: Rudolph, the first question I have to ask you before we go into anything.
2:40
SPEAKER_05: When I was reading your profile, I saw Mr.
2:43
SPEAKER_05: High Definition.
2:44
SPEAKER_05: Please, what does that mean?
2:46
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so that's a question that people have been asking me for years.
2:49
SPEAKER_01: I've had it for over like close to 15 years now.
2:53
SPEAKER_01: It's something I've never revealed before.
2:55
SPEAKER_01: Um, I've never shared where the name came from.
2:59
SPEAKER_01: I'll probably keep it like that for now.
3:00
SPEAKER_05: No, no, no, you have to reveal it here right now.
3:03
SPEAKER_05: Come on, guys, tell them you want to hear it.
3:05
SPEAKER_01: But one thing I would say about the name High Definition is that a lot of people are living their life in a low resolution.
3:10
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
3:11
SPEAKER_01: And when I came up with the name High Definition, one thing I decided was I realized that we all, every one of us, eight billion people on this planet, we're all highly defined.
3:21
SPEAKER_01: We was the we we've been created by a creator, and then there's no need for us to live our life in a low resolution.
3:28
SPEAKER_01: So I realized that whatever you call a thing is what it becomes to you.
3:32
SPEAKER_01: So for me, I was like, I have to call something that I want to represent.
3:36
SPEAKER_01: So this is where I came up with the name High Definition, and it's it stuck with me.
3:40
SPEAKER_01: It started off like a Facebook name, and then what happened is that everyone in the community, everyone started calling me Mr.
3:46
SPEAKER_01: HD, Mr.
3:47
SPEAKER_01: High Definition, and it stuck with me.
3:49
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so yeah.
3:50
SPEAKER_05: So Mr.
3:51
SPEAKER_05: High Definition, Mr.
3:53
SPEAKER_05: HD.
3:54
SPEAKER_05: Yes, sir.
3:54
SPEAKER_05: Then I start calling myself Richie Fork.
3:57
SPEAKER_01: Hey, funny question, actually.
4:00
SPEAKER_01: When someone uh when because I came up with high definition, when high high definition was a big thing, okay, and ultra definition came forking.
4:08
SPEAKER_01: People ask me, Are you going to change?
4:11
SPEAKER_01: I said, I don't think so.
4:13
SPEAKER_01: You have to be upgraded as the definition goes.
4:15
SPEAKER_01: I said, No, I think I'll keep the high definition.
4:17
SPEAKER_01: It don't sound good, ultra high definition.
4:19
SPEAKER_05: Very soon you'd be Mr.
4:21
SPEAKER_05: Virtual Reality.
4:22
SPEAKER_05: Exactly.
4:24
SPEAKER_05: Okay, let's jump straight into it.
4:26
SPEAKER_05: So, what led you into the path of wanting to coach people and help them with their self-development?
4:32
SPEAKER_01: Okay, great question.
4:34
SPEAKER_01: I think I've always been someone who've always wanted to empower people, and I've always one of the things, yeah, nobody really in my environment, nobody grows up and says, Well, I want to coach someone.
4:43
SPEAKER_01: It's not something that was cool.
4:44
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, one of the things that were cool growing up was, you know, to be a musician, a footballer, which I was, and uh anything with to do with entertainment, but to really do something in a personal development space, um, it's not something that was really a dream that somebody wakes up to do.
5:02
SPEAKER_01: But I realized that was an innate ability that I had, it was a calling that was always upon my life.
5:06
SPEAKER_01: But I did not start off saying I want to be a coach, it's actually I I stumbled on it, if I have to be honest with you, because of my journey with being unemployed for three years, and also, of course, uh I followed the traditional route of going to university, and then when I left university, uh couldn't land a job, and then I was went through a really dark moment, and that and that process literally is what led me into the coaching and everything like that.
5:31
SPEAKER_01: So, yeah.
5:32
SPEAKER_05: So that that's that's the story of the diamond being made from the harshest pressure.
5:37
SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
5:38
SPEAKER_05: I always find most of the people who try and shine light in the world are because they had to go through a certain darkness, and they don't want others to go through that as well.
5:46
SPEAKER_01: Absolutely, absolutely.
5:48
SPEAKER_01: Because I I would say something about because when I finished university, what happened was that usually what they say is that you can land a high-paying job, especially being in the UK.
5:58
SPEAKER_01: So when I finished university, I was applying for jobs.
6:01
SPEAKER_01: Every you know, I started off with the the graduate jobs, and then I wasn't when I wasn't getting successful, then I was lowering my standards a little bit.
6:07
SPEAKER_01: I said, let me just try and get any other job.
6:09
SPEAKER_01: And I wasn't getting any jobs, and I was very frustrated, Richie.
6:13
SPEAKER_01: I said, What's going on?
6:14
SPEAKER_01: Is it something to do with my surname?
6:16
SPEAKER_01: Is it because I've got a strong African name?
6:18
SPEAKER_01: Is that the reason why?
6:20
SPEAKER_01: And um, and I realized that it was one of my darkest moments where I even didn't want to be here anymore, Richie.
6:26
SPEAKER_01: If I'm being honest with you, I was very suicidal.
6:28
SPEAKER_01: I said, like, can you imagine a man who cannot even afford, you know, a day-to-day necessities, you know.
6:35
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, back then, I wouldn't advise this.
6:37
SPEAKER_01: Even then, I had a girlfriend, my back then girlfriend, when it was her birthday, her Valentine, I couldn't get any roses, I couldn't get any gifts.
6:44
SPEAKER_01: So as a man, you feel kind of worthless.
6:46
SPEAKER_01: It's like, oh, this is not good.
6:47
SPEAKER_01: And I was very confused, Richard.
6:49
SPEAKER_01: I said, Well, I followed the rules, the traditional rules.
6:51
SPEAKER_01: Like, why is this not working for me?
6:53
SPEAKER_01: And then something really uh something happened for 1,095 days, and and you know, a little bit more than that, but that's about three years.
7:01
SPEAKER_01: Uh I was applying and applying, and I said, no, something has to change, you know, and that was the first LIBOR moment for me.
7:09
SPEAKER_01: And I said to myself that no one's coming to save me.
7:12
SPEAKER_01: That's the first thing I told myself.
7:13
SPEAKER_01: And I realized that where does this mentality come from?
7:16
SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm waiting for someone to save me.
7:18
SPEAKER_01: I realized this is something that has been um inside our identity.
7:22
SPEAKER_01: You know, when you're a child, you're learning how to ride a bicycle, for example.
7:27
SPEAKER_01: If you fall, you have your big brother, your big sister, your mom will pick you up.
7:31
SPEAKER_01: So we are conditioned to believe that, oh, when something goes wrong, somebody's gonna come and save us.
7:36
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, uh and then even if you want to go a little bit deeper, even in most traditional religion, what happens is where we always have a savior figure.
7:44
SPEAKER_05: Saviour coming to save us, savior coming to save us.
7:46
SPEAKER_01: So, as human beings, we are naturally conditioned to believe that if something goes wrong for me, somebody's gonna come to save me.
7:52
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but unfortunately, the bad news is that most of the time when you find yourself in a situation like that, you're gonna have to pick yourself up.
7:59
SPEAKER_01: And then the first thing that I heard was that if no one is going to hire me, I'm gonna hire myself.
8:06
SPEAKER_01: Now, a lot of young people watching this show right now, this this statement right here changed everything for me.
8:11
SPEAKER_01: I sat down and said, if no one's going to hire me, I'm gonna hire myself.
8:14
SPEAKER_01: I've got nothing to lose.
8:15
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you see, Richie, I often say that people change in two different occasions, two different occasions.
8:20
SPEAKER_01: There could be more, but usually it's two.
8:22
SPEAKER_01: The first one is inspiration.
8:24
SPEAKER_01: So, what happened is I see Richie doing a podcast.
8:26
SPEAKER_01: I was like, whoa, this is amazing.
8:28
SPEAKER_01: He's so good at it.
8:29
SPEAKER_01: I think I can do it.
8:30
SPEAKER_01: If he can do it, I can do.
8:31
SPEAKER_01: That's inspiration.
8:32
SPEAKER_01: When I was young, I saw the Brazilian Ronaldo play.
8:34
SPEAKER_01: I was oh wow, I picked up my ball in the streets of Amsterdam.
8:38
SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna play like Brazilian Ronaldo.
8:39
SPEAKER_01: Oh, Ronaldinho, I like him.
8:40
SPEAKER_01: That's inspiration.
8:42
SPEAKER_01: The second one is something that most people go through.
8:45
SPEAKER_01: It's called desperation.
8:46
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, desperation, Richie, means that that's when your back's against the wall.
8:49
SPEAKER_01: Anyone's like, hey, I got nothing to lose right now.
8:52
SPEAKER_01: It's burning your burning the ship.
8:54
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
8:54
SPEAKER_01: So for me, I'll say, Well, I've been applying for three years.
8:57
SPEAKER_01: Nobody's reaching out to me.
8:59
SPEAKER_01: I've got nothing to lose.
9:00
SPEAKER_01: I'm desperate.
9:00
SPEAKER_01: What's the worst that can happen?
9:01
SPEAKER_01: What's the worst that can happen?
9:02
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
9:03
SPEAKER_01: So I said, okay, I'm gonna hire myself.
9:05
SPEAKER_01: So one of the things that I always like, Richie, I said, I like bringing the best out of people.
9:09
SPEAKER_01: It's just something I've always wanted to do.
9:11
SPEAKER_01: And we'll talk about 2015.
9:13
SPEAKER_01: This was back then, and now everyone is creating content.
9:16
SPEAKER_01: Back then, creating content on YouTube and stuff wasn't that popular.
9:20
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so I said to myself, okay, what if I create a platform um for musicians, up-and-coming musicians in the UK, do acoustic sessions, we're gonna record them and then we're gonna put them online.
9:31
SPEAKER_01: But guess what, Richie?
9:32
SPEAKER_01: I had one problem.
9:34
SPEAKER_05: What's that?
9:34
SPEAKER_05: No.
9:35
SPEAKER_01: I was unemployed for three years.
9:37
SPEAKER_01: So I'm thinking, hold on, I'm I've got no funding, no equipment.
9:41
SPEAKER_01: How am I gonna get this done?
9:43
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
9:43
SPEAKER_01: Now, you see, Richie, a lot of people think that the number one thing they need to start any business is capital.
9:50
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the biggest the biggest lie people have been told.
9:53
SPEAKER_01: They think the number one thing they need is capital.
9:56
SPEAKER_01: But I would say something, Richie.
9:57
SPEAKER_01: I think the number one resources that we have is actually people.
10:01
SPEAKER_01: And I'm gonna explain why I said that.
10:03
SPEAKER_01: When that thought came to my mind, and I said to myself, Well, I don't got I've got no money, I've got no equipment, where am I gonna get cameras from?
10:10
SPEAKER_01: Back then it wasn't like everyone using their 4K phones.
10:13
SPEAKER_01: It's like you need a real proper camera.
10:15
SPEAKER_01: Phones are still HD.
10:16
SPEAKER_01: Still HD.
10:18
SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
10:19
SPEAKER_01: So, and then I said, and then I heard another voice, and my intuition was telling me, Is that well, look around and you'll see.
10:26
SPEAKER_01: When I heard that, I was like, what the hell does that mean?
10:28
SPEAKER_01: Look around, you'll see.
10:29
SPEAKER_01: And I heard it again, look around and you see.
10:31
SPEAKER_01: And then I realized, ah, it's staring my face.
10:34
SPEAKER_01: Uh look at the resources that's available for you and tap into that.
10:38
SPEAKER_01: At that time, I knew two ladies, two young ladies.
10:40
SPEAKER_01: Actually, one was in the early 20s, one was like a 16-year-old girl, and I know they had cameras.
10:45
SPEAKER_01: So where I did Richie, I picked up the phone, I called, I called the first lady up and I said, Hey, um, listen, I've been unemployed for three years.
10:52
SPEAKER_01: I want to start an online TV channel, want to broadcast up-and-coming artists.
10:57
SPEAKER_01: Do you think we can use a camera?
10:58
SPEAKER_01: Do you know what she said to me?
11:00
SPEAKER_01: She said to me, I was thinking about this the exact same thing this month.
11:03
SPEAKER_01: Interesting.
11:04
SPEAKER_01: I just didn't have the courage to do it.
11:06
SPEAKER_01: So I'm glad that you reached out to me, Rudolph.
11:08
SPEAKER_01: I'm on board.
11:09
SPEAKER_01: Then I called that other um young lady.
11:12
SPEAKER_01: I said, Hey, um, I'm starting this online TV channel.
11:14
SPEAKER_01: Would you like to be on board?
11:15
SPEAKER_01: I said, Oh, this is a good experience for me, Rudolph.
11:17
SPEAKER_01: This is what I've been waiting for.
11:18
SPEAKER_01: So look what happened.
11:19
SPEAKER_01: I went from being unemployed all of a sudden, and I like to say a TV station online.
11:24
SPEAKER_01: TV station online.
11:26
SPEAKER_01: Now, the good news is that when I started that, uh, we start recording people, and then you can see the joy in people's face, Richie.
11:33
SPEAKER_01: Like people that have never seen, like I said, now it's quite common, but back then they see the cameras on them and they're like, wow, like someone's putting me out there online, and it and it was all paid for it.
11:43
SPEAKER_01: They didn't have to pay me anything at the beginning.
11:45
SPEAKER_01: Now, there's something called a domino effect.
11:48
SPEAKER_01: If you ever play the game dominoes, when you stack them all up, it takes forever to stack them up.
11:52
SPEAKER_01: But when you hit one, it just other ones start dropping.
11:54
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the good news happened is that the good news was that we entered a um there's a thing called the Princess Trust in the UK, where they allow young people who are under the age of 25, who are unemployed, they can come up with a business idea and they will guide you.
12:11
SPEAKER_01: Now the prince has become a king, so now it's called a king's trust.
12:14
SPEAKER_01: But back then it was called a princess trust.
12:16
SPEAKER_01: So I I I applied for it.
12:18
SPEAKER_01: I said, listen, hey, I've got nothing to lose.
12:20
SPEAKER_01: I remember going there and they said to me, Okay, what is your business?
12:24
SPEAKER_01: Business, and I said, Well, I'm recording people online and putting on YouTube.
12:28
SPEAKER_01: Back then, once again, it wasn't that popular.
12:29
SPEAKER_01: They're like, Yeah, how are you gonna make money from that?
12:31
SPEAKER_01: What's the essence of that?
12:32
SPEAKER_01: And I said, No, trust me, I know this is gonna work.
12:36
SPEAKER_01: So they gave me a mentor that mentored me for three months, and then guess what?
12:40
SPEAKER_01: I was after they gave me a mentor, then one day I received an email from a company called Startup.co the UK.
12:48
SPEAKER_01: Now, this is a an online um we'll call it, I think now we'll call it blogging, but it's an online website where they were featuring people, entrepreneurs in the UK.
12:58
SPEAKER_01: So I quickly went online, I saw people like Sir Richard Branson on there.
13:02
SPEAKER_01: I saw people like um Sir Alan Sugar on there.
13:04
SPEAKER_01: These are billionaires.
13:05
SPEAKER_01: So when I saw the email, I think, nah, somebody's pulling my legs.
13:08
SPEAKER_01: This can't be true.
13:09
SPEAKER_01: I was like, I kind of ignored, I said, this can't be true.
13:11
SPEAKER_01: You know what the email said?
13:12
SPEAKER_01: Oh, we heard about your story from the Princess Trust about how you went from being unemployed for three years and you started your online company with no funding and no equipment.
13:21
SPEAKER_01: Literally a year after I started the business, is I received that email.
13:25
SPEAKER_01: I think I ignored it, I said, nah, I can't be on the stage.
13:28
SPEAKER_05: Like, I was like, waiting for Aston could just come out and say punk to remember that yeah.
13:35
SPEAKER_01: So then again, second email, and then this time they they add their phone number.
13:39
SPEAKER_01: So I said, okay, hold on, maybe let me let me just give you a call.
13:42
SPEAKER_01: I ain't got nothing to lose.
13:44
SPEAKER_01: Now I gave the gave the number a call, and in the UK we've got something called a telephone voice.
13:50
SPEAKER_01: When you hear certain voice, you just know, oh, this is this can't be a scam.
13:53
SPEAKER_01: This is real.
13:53
SPEAKER_01: This is a telephone voice, it's it's a high-pitched voice, yeah, where they say, good morning.
13:58
SPEAKER_01: I was like, Oh, okay, yeah, this is it's the corporate voice.
14:01
SPEAKER_01: It's the corporate voice.
14:02
SPEAKER_01: You know, okay.
14:03
SPEAKER_01: I said, this might be real.
14:04
SPEAKER_01: I said, I said, hi.
14:04
SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, we've been trying to reach out to you Rudolph.
14:06
SPEAKER_01: We like your story.
14:07
SPEAKER_01: I think we'll make a good headline for our um uh um website.
14:12
SPEAKER_01: And I think uh we'll send you a uh a series of questions.
14:15
SPEAKER_01: Just you got a couple of days to fill it out.
14:17
SPEAKER_01: I said, send it to me right now.
14:18
SPEAKER_01: I want to do this right now.
14:19
SPEAKER_01: I was like, whoa, I can't believe this exposure I'm getting.
14:21
SPEAKER_01: She sent it to me.
14:22
SPEAKER_01: I'd done it like in 20 minutes.
14:24
SPEAKER_01: I sent it back to them.
14:25
SPEAKER_01: And then a week, a couple of weeks later, they posted it online.
14:29
SPEAKER_01: And then another great thing happened not long after that, uh Richie, was that now people don't really read newspapers um like before, but back like 10, 11 years ago was a big thing.
14:40
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but the local newspaper contacted me once again, and they said, We want to feature your story online.
14:47
SPEAKER_01: At this point, Richie, I'm thinking, what's going on here?
14:50
SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm unemployed for three years.
14:52
SPEAKER_01: I broke the rules by simply saying, if no one's going to hire me, I'm gonna hire myself.
14:56
SPEAKER_01: And now all of a sudden, people like um this website wants to feature me.
15:00
SPEAKER_01: A uh local newspaper wants to feature me.
15:03
SPEAKER_01: It's like it's too good to be true.
15:04
SPEAKER_01: Anyways, they did an article about me, and then literally they featured it back to back.
15:09
SPEAKER_01: One was released in November, um, first second week of November, and then the next one, the third week of November in 2016.
15:16
SPEAKER_01: And if people go online right now, you will find some of them um on there as well.
15:20
SPEAKER_01: And the title said how to start an online TV channel without funding or no equipment.
15:24
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I've got a great uh question for you.
15:26
SPEAKER_01: I know you're the one asking questions here, but um what kind of people do you think will be reading the newspaper, you know, commuting in London in a very busy um busy landing roads going to work.
15:40
SPEAKER_01: What kind of people would be reading newspapers?
15:43
SPEAKER_01: I mean, at that time everybody would be reading the newspaper.
15:45
SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
15:46
SPEAKER_01: So we talk about teachers, entrepreneurs, everybody's reading it, and then that's why I said it's a domino effect.
15:52
SPEAKER_01: Of course, a couple of teachers pick up the newspaper, be like, oh, this is a great story.
15:55
SPEAKER_01: Why don't we invite this gentleman to come and speak to the students?
15:59
SPEAKER_01: Funny enough, the same univer um college I left, you know, the first speaking engagement I did was at that college, and it was like a whole 360 moment for me.
16:09
SPEAKER_05: Interesting.
16:10
SPEAKER_01: And then from there I started going into public speaking, and then I decided eventually after years after later, decided to go into one-to-one coaching and everything.
16:18
SPEAKER_01: And you see how um life happens for us when we delay to take a decision.
16:24
SPEAKER_01: One thing I tell all my clients is that it's a very important statement.
16:28
SPEAKER_01: And if if your viewers have never heard this before, I guarantee they're probably going to be scratching their head for a couple of weeks, be thinking, like, what was he saying?
16:35
SPEAKER_01: I can't understand what he's saying.
16:36
SPEAKER_01: One thing I always tell my clients is that we are a co-creator of our reality.
16:40
SPEAKER_01: So that means that reality can never be rigid, it can never be fixed.
16:44
SPEAKER_01: We are co-creating every moment.
16:46
SPEAKER_01: Most people are creating it unconsciously, they've thought they've they've moving with the wind.
16:51
SPEAKER_01: And what I do is I I'm a conscious creator.
16:54
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, hold on.
16:55
SPEAKER_01: And a keyword is I'm a co-creator.
16:57
SPEAKER_01: So that means I'm working with a force that's even powerful, and we're creating that reality.
17:02
SPEAKER_01: And that's how I got to this stage.
17:04
SPEAKER_05: Everyone's biggest aim is to build wealth.
17:07
SPEAKER_05: Now, anyone who knows what they are about will tell you the one true way to build wealth is to have a system that gains that wealth over time.
17:16
SPEAKER_05: Now, most people are suffering to what system or what tool can they use?
17:21
SPEAKER_05: How do they get to invest easily?
17:23
SPEAKER_05: How do they get to invest over time?
17:25
SPEAKER_05: Small amounts, compound interest, and build their wealth.
17:28
SPEAKER_05: Well, that tool is Achieve by Petra.
17:32
SPEAKER_05: Download Achieve by Petra now and let's build wealth together.
17:36
SPEAKER_05: That's powerful.
17:36
SPEAKER_05: Your story is very powerful, and I think um it teaches people a lot of lessons because most people are in a bad situation and they fail to act.
17:47
SPEAKER_05: You know, as I like how you spoke about people are waiting to be saved.
17:50
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, we have that mindset.
17:52
SPEAKER_05: We've been trained with that mindset that somebody needs to come and save you.
17:56
SPEAKER_05: Your boss needs to employ you, you know, your parents need to do something for you, your pastor needs to save you.
18:03
SPEAKER_05: That there's always somebody outside of you that you need to rely on.
18:08
SPEAKER_05: I even say for the person who's even the strongest, um, whether it's a Christian, whether it's Muslim, you need to remember that God made us in his image.
18:19
SPEAKER_05: Absolutely.
18:20
SPEAKER_05: Gave us the brains and said, go and achieve.
18:23
SPEAKER_05: Wow.
18:24
SPEAKER_05: But we keep coming back.
18:26
SPEAKER_05: We always keep going back to the teacher, going back to the parents, going back to the pastor, going back and saying, I need you to save me.
18:33
SPEAKER_05: So the fact that you took your situation and said, I'm going to save myself, I'm going to act.
18:40
SPEAKER_05: And I love how you spoke about the domino effect because most people think when you start, you need to have it all figured out.
18:48
SPEAKER_05: You know, I don't know if it's the way people tell their stories in the past or something.
18:53
SPEAKER_05: You would think that, oh, this guy started with a 20-year plan and year two, he did this.
18:58
SPEAKER_05: But sometimes it's just a first step, like, I want to open an online TV channel.
19:03
SPEAKER_04: Right.
19:04
SPEAKER_05: It can be as simple as that, and it will grow into something that even you didn't think was possible.
19:10
SPEAKER_05: I really hope people are listening to this.
19:13
SPEAKER_05: But now I want to understand something.
19:15
SPEAKER_05: As you got into this journey, yeah, it's one thing motivating yourself, it's one thing being able to pick yourself up.
19:24
SPEAKER_05: But how were you able to get other people to also be inspired by the things you say?
19:30
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I think first of all, it starts with um you leading by um you have to lead for people to see that okay, he's really about what he said.
19:40
SPEAKER_01: Like, for example, my story is the first.
19:43
SPEAKER_01: Um most people have been in situations like where they're down and out, they're unemployed, or maybe they've lost their business, something terrible has happened to them and they realize hold on, if Rudolph, a young man, decided to pick themselves up, like he said, came away from oh, I need someone to save me, yeah, then that means I can do it too.
20:01
SPEAKER_01: So the first thing I would say definitely you have to lead by example.
20:04
SPEAKER_01: That's the first thing.
20:05
SPEAKER_01: But then uh once again, the hardest thing, Richie, I believe, is that is with adults.
20:12
SPEAKER_01: If I could, I would really coach children.
20:15
SPEAKER_05: Because you're able to imprint on them more.
20:18
SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
20:19
SPEAKER_01: I always say that children need to make up their mind, and adult needs to change their mind.
20:24
SPEAKER_01: Changing the mind is such a challenge.
20:26
SPEAKER_01: Somebody asks me, Bruno, what's the hardest thing for you as a coach?
20:29
SPEAKER_01: I said, trying to.
20:30
SPEAKER_01: I believe that Richie can do it, but I don't know if Richie believes he can do it.
20:34
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's the problem.
20:36
SPEAKER_01: So when you tell a child, um, can you play the piano?
20:40
SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, sir, I've never tried it before.
20:42
SPEAKER_01: I think if I put my mind to it, I can do it.
20:44
SPEAKER_01: And I don't tell you, oh no, I'm tone deaf.
20:46
SPEAKER_01: Me, I don't know how to play piano.
20:48
SPEAKER_01: I've never done it in my 40 years of living.
20:50
SPEAKER_05: I don't know how to dance, I'm not good with maths, you know, I don't know how to write, I don't know how to speak.
20:55
SPEAKER_05: Exactly.
20:56
SPEAKER_05: Thinking, oh, let me try that.
20:57
SPEAKER_01: I've never tried it before.
20:58
SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
20:59
SPEAKER_01: So, and and and that's called programming and conditioning, it's a paradigm, and it's very hard.
21:04
SPEAKER_01: That's the most challenging thing for me.
21:06
SPEAKER_01: But eventually, when everything starts with identity, this is why my core message always leads back to identity.
21:12
SPEAKER_01: What does identity, who you think you are, and what and and your self-image, what is self-image, how you see yourself, is those things that are shaping every single result in our life.
21:22
SPEAKER_01: And I mean every single result.
21:24
SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, so uh this is what you know I help my clients with.
21:28
SPEAKER_05: So in your book, when you said build your life to inspire, are you talking about building your self-image?
21:34
SPEAKER_01: Uh, not necessarily building your self-image, but what I am talking about is like what I said earlier.
21:39
SPEAKER_01: Uh, people are supposed to look at Richie's life, be like, my goodness, this man did it.
21:43
SPEAKER_01: He's a he's a young man from Ghana, I can do it.
21:45
SPEAKER_01: Okay, we are supposed to build our life to inspire other people.
21:48
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
21:48
SPEAKER_01: Unfortunately, for many people, they're not building a life to inspire anyone.
21:52
SPEAKER_01: They look at your life and they're like, Well, I don't want to be like him.
21:55
SPEAKER_01: I think all of us are supposed to build our life to inspire other people, and it doesn't necessarily Mean that you have to become the most famous person in your field, in your industry.
22:04
SPEAKER_01: You should build your life to the point that people look at that and say, Wow, what an inspiration.
22:08
SPEAKER_01: Because after all, we're here to inspire others, yeah, to make people believe that if this person can do it, that means I know I can do it.
22:15
SPEAKER_05: Even if it's just in your workplace, you know.
22:17
SPEAKER_05: Absolutely.
22:17
SPEAKER_05: The book I'm currently reading, I love it.
22:19
SPEAKER_05: Um, leadership with a leadership without titles.
22:22
SPEAKER_01: Oh, wow, I love that title.
22:24
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's amazing.
22:24
SPEAKER_05: I love it.
22:25
SPEAKER_05: And when I when I got the book, my thought was it was going to be about, yeah, just leading without trying to be a boss and everything.
22:32
SPEAKER_05: But it's deeper than that.
22:34
SPEAKER_05: You know, when he's talking about the fact that every single person needs to be a leader, every.
22:39
SPEAKER_05: Every person needs to shine.
22:41
SPEAKER_05: You know, and it goes with what you are saying because your life needs to be an example for the person next to you to say, wait, I can do that too.
22:51
SPEAKER_05: Absolutely, like if you are going to work with somebody every time, show up in the brightest way, show up in the best mood, show up with the most dedication so that your colleague can also look at you and say, I want to have that energy when I come to work tomorrow.
23:06
SPEAKER_05: And I think it's a powerful place to be.
23:08
SPEAKER_05: I know that some of us have picked up a camera and a mic, and we are sitting here to help other people along their path.
23:15
SPEAKER_05: But I I love what you're saying because if every person took up that responsibility, yeah, that I will at least inspire one person, the world will be a much, much better place.
23:27
SPEAKER_01: And one thing I'll add to that, we'll all I put that, I said that in my new book.
23:31
SPEAKER_01: Um, we are all a point of reference to someone, even if it's bad or good.
23:35
SPEAKER_01: That's the scary thing.
23:36
SPEAKER_01: It's like it's a point of reference.
23:38
SPEAKER_01: So this is why sometimes people grow up in a household and said, Well, no one ever became a millionaire in my family, and they can't become a millionaire because that's the point of reference, that's the bar that's been set.
23:49
SPEAKER_01: And one thing I always say that's really scary is that we are carrying limiting beliefs that's been passed on from generation after generation.
23:57
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they make a very important statement.
23:59
SPEAKER_01: I think the viewers are going to like this.
24:02
SPEAKER_01: One thing I always tell my clients is that a lot of us are carrying a dead man's limiting belief.
24:07
SPEAKER_01: True.
24:07
SPEAKER_01: They're like, what the hell?
24:08
SPEAKER_01: What does that mean, Rudolph?
24:09
SPEAKER_01: I'll say let me explain.
24:11
SPEAKER_01: When your grandfather, let's take this as an example.
24:13
SPEAKER_01: Your grandfather was 21 years old, he decided to start a business.
24:17
SPEAKER_01: He had one bad experience.
24:19
SPEAKER_01: One bad experience, and he decided, oh, people like me do not start business.
24:24
SPEAKER_01: Let me not start business.
24:25
SPEAKER_01: And guess what?
24:26
SPEAKER_01: Your grandfather had a child.
24:28
SPEAKER_01: That child is your father.
24:30
SPEAKER_01: Your father came 21 years old, very excited, full of energy.
24:33
SPEAKER_01: He said, Whoa, dad, I think I'm gonna start a business.
24:36
SPEAKER_01: You know what his dad told him?
24:37
SPEAKER_01: He said, No, no, don't do that.
24:38
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, people like us we don't start a business.
24:41
SPEAKER_01: And you ask why.
24:42
SPEAKER_01: Oh, you've heard this so many times.
24:44
SPEAKER_01: When I was your age, I did this as well.
24:47
SPEAKER_01: It did not work.
24:47
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, now guess what?
24:49
SPEAKER_01: Now, your father has a child, that's you.
24:51
SPEAKER_01: You come into the scene, oh dad, this is it.
24:53
SPEAKER_01: 20.
24:54
SPEAKER_01: Um, I know I can start this.
24:55
SPEAKER_01: Oh, don't do this.
24:56
SPEAKER_01: Your grandfather started a business, it didn't work.
24:58
SPEAKER_01: I saw IB didn't work.
24:59
SPEAKER_01: See, it's a dead man, and let's say your grandfather is no longer alive, it's a dead man's limiting belief that's literally controlling so many people's results.
25:06
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and no one, and this is why I talk about identity.
25:09
SPEAKER_01: No one ever sits down and asks themselves a very simple question where the hell did this idea where did this belief come from?
25:15
SPEAKER_01: Where did I get this idea from?
25:17
SPEAKER_01: Most people don't do ask that question.
25:19
SPEAKER_01: I'll I'll I'll submit to you that many people will find answers if they just sat down and asked themselves a very deep question.
25:26
SPEAKER_01: Where did I get this limited belief about money from?
25:29
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
25:29
SPEAKER_01: About career, about life, about relationship.
25:32
SPEAKER_01: Where did this come from?
25:33
SPEAKER_05: And you know the worst thing is confirmation bias.
25:36
SPEAKER_05: Because of confirmation bias, when the wrong idea is passed on to you, you will keep seeing that everywhere.
25:43
SPEAKER_05: So now when you're 21 and your dad tells you, don't start a business because you will fail.
25:48
SPEAKER_05: Now, everywhere you look, you will only see those whose businesses are failing.
25:52
SPEAKER_05: And it will be confirmation on why you should never start a business.
25:56
SPEAKER_05: Then you pass it on to your kid who passes it on.
25:59
SPEAKER_05: Next thing you know, five generations of people who never achieved anything.
26:03
SPEAKER_01: You know what that is?
26:04
SPEAKER_01: The reason that is is because we call something raising your conscious awareness.
26:07
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, when you raise your conscious awareness, this is where like the law of attraction and everything comes in.
26:12
SPEAKER_01: Because, for example, when you buy a brand new car, let's say you bought a pink G Wagon, you think nobody has that pink G Wagon, you take it down Los Angeles distribute, you see another pink G Wagon, you said, Oh, sometimes you don't need to buy it.
26:23
SPEAKER_05: Sometimes when you decide you are going to buy it, suddenly you start to see pink G wagons everywhere.
26:29
SPEAKER_01: And the question then is was that pink G Wagon not there?
26:33
SPEAKER_01: It was always there, but your conscious awareness didn't allow you to realize it.
26:37
SPEAKER_01: Now all of a sudden, when you realize that hold on, I can become a millionaire, and then something drops into your spirit.
26:42
SPEAKER_01: Why don't you start this type of business?
26:44
SPEAKER_01: Why don't you do this?
26:45
SPEAKER_01: Maybe you speak to Richie, he can help you, he can invest in you.
26:48
SPEAKER_01: But then what happens is really scary.
26:50
SPEAKER_01: When the idea comes into my mind, we are scared, we shrink.
26:53
SPEAKER_01: You're like, oh no, I don't think.
26:55
SPEAKER_01: I don't think.
26:55
SPEAKER_01: And then it's what you say, we'll go back to our past, we go back to our mom, like, oh, I need help, but everything's already been dropped down to you.
27:02
SPEAKER_01: So the key thing is, like you said, we have to raise our conscious awareness of you know what's surrounded.
27:07
SPEAKER_01: Because even it's good or bad, if it's bad, everything is gonna remind you, like, oh, why you should be the way you is.
27:14
SPEAKER_05: And one thing I tell people to try and get over that is that don't take advice from someone who's living a life that you don't want to live.
27:23
SPEAKER_05: So if you want to start a business, don't go ask someone who never started a business.
27:28
SPEAKER_05: Absolutely.
27:29
SPEAKER_05: If if you or don't go ask someone who started a business once, failed, and stopped.
27:34
SPEAKER_05: You get me?
27:35
SPEAKER_05: Get advice from somebody who's living the life that you want.
27:39
SPEAKER_05: That person will set you on the right path.
27:41
SPEAKER_05: And you see, one thing I want people to get right is when they say set you on the right path, it doesn't mean they will show you the way that's going to make it for you.
27:49
SPEAKER_05: Because everybody's path is different.
27:51
SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
27:52
SPEAKER_05: But they will give you the right information for you to make your own path.
27:57
SPEAKER_05: That's right.
27:58
SPEAKER_05: You get me?
27:58
SPEAKER_05: Because confirmation bias, like I'm saying, it's very, very real.
28:02
SPEAKER_05: Once somebody starts to tell you, if let's say you want to start, you want to start an online channel.
28:07
SPEAKER_05: I mean, right now, like you said, it's very common.
28:10
SPEAKER_05: But if, let's say, in the past 10, 11 years ago, you want to start it and you talk to the right person, they will give you examples like, oh, yeah, Mr.
28:18
SPEAKER_05: Beast has done this and it's going well.
28:20
SPEAKER_05: They'll mention, oh, this this TV station in in India decided to take everything on YouTube and it's doing well.
28:27
SPEAKER_05: Now, suddenly, when you go on YouTube, you start to see all of those who are doing well, and it will give you some encouragement to keep going.
28:35
SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
28:35
SPEAKER_05: But when you go talk to the wrong person, they will also tell you all the ones that are not doing well.
28:41
SPEAKER_05: Absolutely.
28:41
SPEAKER_05: And you know the algorithm on social media, it's an a bored algorithm from life.
28:46
SPEAKER_05: Absolutely.
28:47
SPEAKER_05: Because that's the same thing that's happening.
28:48
SPEAKER_05: The moment you start to align with certain thoughts, start to align with certain negativity, life will keep feeding you that over and over again.
28:58
SPEAKER_05: Like I've even moved away from calling it the law of attraction, and I call it law of alignment.
29:04
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
29:05
SPEAKER_01: And just to touch on it, uh, one thing I teach you is something called universal laws.
29:09
SPEAKER_01: And what does that mean?
29:10
SPEAKER_01: That means no matter what part of the world you live in, these laws have to work for you.
29:14
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
29:14
SPEAKER_01: And it's not respectful person.
29:16
SPEAKER_01: And there's many laws.
29:17
SPEAKER_01: You touch on one of the laws, it's called the law of focus.
29:20
SPEAKER_01: The law of focus simply stays that anywhere that your attention goes, energy must flow there immediately, not next week, immediately.
29:28
SPEAKER_01: So we also call it the annoying law of the universe.
29:31
SPEAKER_01: Why do we call it that?
29:32
SPEAKER_01: Because think about it, if you're thinking about not having enough and you keep thinking about it, you're gonna keep getting not enough.
29:40
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, I read this, you know, uh in the Bible actually, and the first time I read it, I was like, ah, this doesn't make sense.
29:46
SPEAKER_01: And I'm paraphrasing, I'm not uh I don't profess to be a Bible scholar, but I'll paraphrase away.
29:51
SPEAKER_01: It said it says um it said that um to whom much is given, more will be untrusted onto him, and then the one that has least, the the least that he has maybe taken away from him.
30:03
SPEAKER_01: And when I first read it, I said that's not fair.
30:05
SPEAKER_01: Like he's hardly got anything.
30:06
SPEAKER_01: Why would you take away from that person?
30:08
SPEAKER_01: Someone that has a lot, why would you give that that person more?
30:11
SPEAKER_01: And once again, of course, if you're reading maybe the Bible like a storybook, you're gonna miss it.
30:15
SPEAKER_01: Well, the deeper lesson I got from that is that oh, it's it's talking about alignment, it's talking about energetic resonance.
30:21
SPEAKER_01: Like the ones that's focusing on abundance, they were gonna keep getting more ideas to get more abundant.
30:26
SPEAKER_01: The one that's focusing on a lack, like the person that hit their talent, they're gonna keep getting lack.
30:30
SPEAKER_01: So, whatever you focus on, you actually energize.
30:33
SPEAKER_01: So I said, That's very deep.
30:34
SPEAKER_01: You know, I've read it so many times, but I then began to read it from a different lens.
30:38
SPEAKER_01: I said, Oh, so this is why perhaps maybe the rich keep getting richer, yeah, and the poor keep getting poorer.
30:44
SPEAKER_01: It's very interesting just to touch on what you were saying on it.
30:47
SPEAKER_05: One of the biggest lessons I've learned in life and in business is that not everything deserves access to you.
30:54
SPEAKER_05: Your attention is valuable, your focus is valuable, and in this world full of noise and distraction, the ability to control your world is your true power.
31:06

31:22
SPEAKER_05: Lynx Reverb, now that's clarity.
31:25
SPEAKER_05: You know when they talk about investment, especially like a lot of people don't understand venture capitalism.
31:31
SPEAKER_05: People think someone with a lot of money invests in one big idea that was guaranteed to succeed and they make more money.
31:41
SPEAKER_05: They don't understand that a venture capital fund will invest in a hundred companies.
31:47
SPEAKER_05: Those hundred companies, 50 of them will fail completely.
31:53
SPEAKER_05: About 48 of them will do okay, they're surviving, and then two of them will blow out of the waters, and the money from those two will make back more than all the money they invested in the 100.
32:08
SPEAKER_04: Wow, that's beautiful.
32:10
SPEAKER_05: So the person or the group of people who had enough courage to invest in a hundred companies are the ones who find the two that are going to succeed.
32:20
SPEAKER_03: Wow.
32:21
SPEAKER_05: But that person who took their small money and said, no, this is too risky, I can't risk the money I've made, no, let me just go put it in my savings, is destined to lose that money.
32:32
SPEAKER_05: And it's the same, the same energy, whether it's money, whether it's is is time, what you decide to focus your time on.
32:40
SPEAKER_05: That person who, when they are 18, they're 19, decide to learn 10 different topics, decide to learn the piano, learn how to play football, learn how to climb, learn how to do different things, is the one is the person that in 10 years' time, one of those talents they picked up along the way turns them into a maestro and something.
33:01
SPEAKER_05: But the other one who played it safe and you know studied only one thing because I hear that if I study accounting, I'll get a safe job.
33:10
SPEAKER_05: That's the person who at 40 has a midlife crisis because they didn't know what they did with their life.
33:16
SPEAKER_05: Wow, wow, but we are not told these things when we are young, they're not, yeah.
33:21
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, intentionally, anyways.
33:26
SPEAKER_05: I do understand from that point of view, too, because at the end of the day, if everybody's a leader, who's going to follow?
33:32
SPEAKER_01: So but it goes back to your book.
33:33
SPEAKER_01: We're all born to lead.
33:35
SPEAKER_01: You see, that's a that's a a a is something that's it's a false doctrine that they've they made us feel like uh we was just speaking off air uh with one of my team members that's like leadership is all about serving other people, whereas like in some part of the world, let me be honest, in our part of the world, in Africa part of the world, is all about who can serve me rather than the other way around.
33:57
SPEAKER_01: Um, and if everyone had this mentality that I'm here to serve, because that's what real leadership is, is about serving.
34:03
SPEAKER_01: Because what we're doing right now, you're serving people, yeah.
34:06
SPEAKER_01: You're just in front of the camera, but you're still serving people, you're serving people information that could have the potentiality to change the whole destiny, yeah.
34:14
SPEAKER_05: And people don't understand that that is what life is about.
34:18
SPEAKER_05: Absolutely, you get the most fulfillment when you are serving other people.
34:22
SPEAKER_05: Tell me about it, and the funny thing is, you see, when serving people, you don't actually think about the gains for you, but ironically, when you are serving people, the gains seem to follow you.
34:34
SPEAKER_05: Wow, the opportunities are just calling you.
34:37
SPEAKER_05: You see, you spoke about your online TV, and when you started your online TV, you were putting people on.
34:42
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, and now people started to call you to put you on.
34:45
SPEAKER_04: Wow.
34:46
SPEAKER_05: It's like it's a circle of life.
34:47
SPEAKER_04: It's a circle, yeah.
34:48
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah.
34:49
SPEAKER_05: We we need to start thinking like that.
34:52
SPEAKER_05: But I think selfishness has been taught to us for so long that most people can't think past themselves to the next person.
35:02
SPEAKER_05: There's this um experiment that they said they did, they grabbed a number of kids, and then they had each one like helium balloons, they had each one write their name on a helium balloon.
35:15
SPEAKER_05: Okay.
35:15
SPEAKER_05: So, like hundred kids.
35:16
SPEAKER_05: Then they said, Okay, everybody release your balloon.
35:19
SPEAKER_05: So all the balloons went up.
35:20
SPEAKER_05: Then they said, everybody find your balloon.
35:23
SPEAKER_05: So in 30 minutes, they were all looking around, nobody could find their balloon.
35:27
SPEAKER_05: Then they said, Okay, now let's try something else.
35:30
SPEAKER_05: Everybody find a balloon and give it to the owner.
35:34
SPEAKER_05: In five minutes, all the balloons were with the owners.
35:37
SPEAKER_05: Wow.
35:38
SPEAKER_05: And it was to teach them that when everyone tries to look out for the other person, we all benefit.
35:44
SPEAKER_05: Wow, but when we are all selfish, we stay stuck.
35:47
SPEAKER_01: Wow, that's a very powerful analogy story.
35:49
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
35:50
SPEAKER_01: Powerful.
35:51
SPEAKER_05: Let's talk about self-image because I I agree with you that a lot of people have self-identified into positions that are bringing them down.
36:02
SPEAKER_05: How does one manage to change the self-identity?
36:07
SPEAKER_01: Great question.
36:08
SPEAKER_01: So when we talk about self-identity, we'll talk about who you think you are.
36:12
SPEAKER_01: And and when we talk about self-image is the internal picture that you hold of yourself.
36:17
SPEAKER_01: Now, every single person watching me, uh, there's two types of images that we all have.
36:22
SPEAKER_01: The very first one is the one when you look in the mirror and you see a reflection of yourself.
36:27
SPEAKER_01: So for the ladies, they'll say, I look good, I'll put on my dress, my makeup.
36:30
SPEAKER_01: For the gentleman, I've put on my shirt, my suit, my polo, whatever you're wearing, and you say, I look amazing.
36:36
SPEAKER_01: Now, that reflection is going to boost your confidence.
36:39
SPEAKER_01: Of course, it's going to make you feel good.
36:41
SPEAKER_01: You dress good, you feel good, amazing.
36:43
SPEAKER_01: But there's an image, Richie, that's more powerful than the one you see in the mirror.
36:48
SPEAKER_01: That image is held in the mind.
36:50
SPEAKER_01: Now, there's a saying that I've been telling everyone and all my clients is that you will never outperform the way you see yourself.
36:57
SPEAKER_01: True.
36:57
SPEAKER_01: It's impossible.
36:59
SPEAKER_01: Now, let me make a statement.
37:00
SPEAKER_01: You can momentarily outperform it.
37:04
SPEAKER_01: I'll come right back.
37:04
SPEAKER_01: But you'll come right back.
37:05
SPEAKER_01: How do we momentarily outperform it?
37:07
SPEAKER_01: Through motivation and willpower.
37:10
SPEAKER_01: So this is why a new year resolution, when the new year starts, people are excited, like, oh, this year, yeah, this is the year I'll make my first million.
37:15
SPEAKER_01: I have to for three days.
37:17
SPEAKER_01: So they outperform their self-image through motivation.
37:20
SPEAKER_01: But motivation is like uh it's a terrible engine to rely on.
37:23
SPEAKER_01: No matter how sweet your G Wagon is, if you put up the petrol eventually will run out and then the car has to stop.
37:31
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's the same thing with people.
37:32
SPEAKER_01: If you rely on motivation, what will happen is that your motivation will dry up and then you get stuck, and then people think there's something wrong with them.
37:40
SPEAKER_01: What's wrong with me?
37:41
SPEAKER_01: There's nothing wrong with you.
37:42
SPEAKER_01: The problem is that you're leading with outcome, you're not leading with self-identity and self-image.
37:48
SPEAKER_01: So there's an important question that every single person needs to ask themselves if they want to change result immediately.
37:54
SPEAKER_01: And I say this, it's a that's a bold statement to say, and I really mean this.
37:57
SPEAKER_01: You can change a result immediately immediately once you understand that that there's a question that you need to ask.
38:04
SPEAKER_01: And that question is this don't lead with outcome first, lead with identity.
38:09
SPEAKER_01: Now, what's the question that we need to ask ourselves?
38:11
SPEAKER_01: So, for example, let's use numbers.
38:12
SPEAKER_01: It's always easy to use numbers.
38:14
SPEAKER_01: If there's a viewer saying, Rudolph, I want to earn$10,000 a month, let's say that's what they want to earn.
38:19
SPEAKER_01: Now that's the outcome.
38:21
SPEAKER_01: The question that they need to ask themselves is what kind of person do I need to become right now in order for this 10,000 pounds or dollars to feel normal for me?
38:31
SPEAKER_01: And the keyword is right now, because that's an identity question.
38:35
SPEAKER_01: Because once you deal with identity, your standard goes up.
38:39
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
38:39
SPEAKER_01: And then the question you need to ask yourself, would the version of you that earns$10,000 a month, would they behave the way they behave?
38:47
SPEAKER_01: Would they entertain certain conversations?
38:48
SPEAKER_01: Would they go to certain environments?
38:50
SPEAKER_01: You see, now you're dealing with something deeper, you're dealing with the roots.
38:53
SPEAKER_01: So everyone, like you asked the question, how do we challenge the self-ident self-image?
38:58
SPEAKER_01: It goes back to what we said earlier that you know limiting beliefs and everything.
39:02
SPEAKER_01: And I said to you that you have to confront your current self-identity.
39:07
SPEAKER_01: You literally have to sit down, Richie, and say to yourself, like, hold on, I've realized for the last 10 years I keep making the same money, I keep getting the same partners, I keep getting the same careers.
39:16
SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't want this.
39:17
SPEAKER_01: Why does this keep coming to me?
39:19
SPEAKER_01: You see, most people don't want to confront other uh themselves.
39:21
SPEAKER_01: They will they're happy to confront other people.
39:23
SPEAKER_01: Hey, you stepped on my toes, why did you step on my toes?
39:26
SPEAKER_01: But have you sat down and asked yourself, where does this come from?
39:29
SPEAKER_01: If once you start confronting it, what happens usually when I get my clients to do this, I see tears coming down their eyes, like literally crying.
39:36
SPEAKER_01: Because you say, I never realized that this that happened to me when I was six years old.
39:41
SPEAKER_01: I've carried that image with me.
39:42
SPEAKER_01: Now I'm 46 years old, I've carried that image with me for 40 years.
39:47
SPEAKER_01: Once you confront that, um Richie, the next thing is really important.
39:51
SPEAKER_01: Then you have to create that new self-identity.
39:54
SPEAKER_01: Once again, the outcome, whatever the outcome is, okay, what kind of person does Richie need to become in order for this to be normal?
40:01
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
40:01
SPEAKER_01: Now, what's going to happen is that whilst you become that person, you're natural, you're gonna naturally feel like you're faking it.
40:08
SPEAKER_01: This is not real and anything like that.
40:10
SPEAKER_01: Because we have been conditioned all our life to believe that scene is believing.
40:14
SPEAKER_01: And I'll be honest with you, Richie, I think that's one of the most terrible statements I've ever heard, you know, because logically it doesn't even make sense.
40:21
SPEAKER_01: Scene can never be believing.
40:23
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, because believing is having faith in what you aren't seeing.
40:26
SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
40:26
SPEAKER_01: And think, take a look at this beautiful studio.
40:28
SPEAKER_01: I must say the studio is very beautiful.
40:30
SPEAKER_01: Thank you, thank you.
40:30
SPEAKER_01: But let me ask you, let me tell you something.
40:32
SPEAKER_01: Everything in this studio was created twice, nothing was created once.
40:36
SPEAKER_01: First was in the mind, and then time.
40:38
SPEAKER_01: Then here.
40:38
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
40:38
SPEAKER_01: In essence, what I'm saying, everything here is just a copy.
40:41
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's a prototype of something that created, maybe was in your mind.
40:44
SPEAKER_01: You're like, oh, I want this here.
40:46
SPEAKER_01: So this table, the person who designed this table, it first started in the mind.
40:50
SPEAKER_01: So they had to believe it first and then they can see it.
40:53
SPEAKER_01: So this is why seeing is believing doesn't make sense.
40:56
SPEAKER_01: So why am I saying all of this stuff?
40:58
SPEAKER_01: When you start telling yourself like what kind of person that I need to become, naturally, you're gonna feel like, oh, this doesn't feel real.
41:04
SPEAKER_01: I'm faking it.
41:05
SPEAKER_01: No, you're not faking it.
41:06
SPEAKER_01: You actually tap into something very powerful that can sustain the outcome that you're looking for.
41:12
SPEAKER_01: If you don't lead with the identity, you're gonna fall back.
41:15
SPEAKER_01: So this is why it's very important for the people listening to to first confront their current self-identity.
41:21
SPEAKER_01: Why do I see myself like this?
41:22
SPEAKER_01: Where did this come from?
41:23
SPEAKER_01: Okay, how do I want to see myself?
41:25
SPEAKER_01: How can I make this outcome to feel normal to me?
41:28
SPEAKER_01: And then they need to start acting like that person immediately.
41:31
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you're gonna start seeing things happening to you, like what you mentioned earlier on, your conscious awareness will raise it.
41:37
SPEAKER_01: All of a sudden, ideas will put come to you.
41:39
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, then it's up to you to have the courage, and I was use the word audacity to believe that this can work.
41:45
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, and that's why I was talking about alignment earlier.
41:49
SPEAKER_05: Yes, you know, I've I've gone through different phases of my self-development.
41:52
SPEAKER_05: Okay, and at first I was all about the attraction, the attraction, and then I came to understand alignment, and it made more sense to me because I came to understand that you see, even when people are trying to attract things, it's still coming from a place of weakness.
42:07
SPEAKER_05: Yes, it's still feeling like maybe, oh, I only make thousands a month and I want to make ten thousand a month, so it's still from a place of lacking, lacking, yeah.
42:18
SPEAKER_05: Whereas alignment is more of understanding that you will become that person.
42:24
SPEAKER_05: So why not start acting like it now?
42:26
SPEAKER_05: You know, you want to be a footballer one day, you want to be Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi.
42:32
SPEAKER_05: And why don't you check what do the top footballers do right now?
42:37
SPEAKER_05: Most people think when I become a footballer, when I become the best footballer in the world, I will now do this.
42:43
SPEAKER_05: No, reverse it.
42:45
SPEAKER_05: So, what do they do?
42:46
SPEAKER_05: They wake up every morning and they train, right?
42:48
SPEAKER_05: They don't drink alcohol because it's bad for the body.
42:52
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, they don't, you know, like they they have certain things they do, certain things they don't do.
42:57
SPEAKER_05: Why are you waiting to become a professional footballer to start those things?
43:01
SPEAKER_05: Start it now.
43:02
SPEAKER_05: I remember, you know, like after being a CEO for about nine, ten years, and I want to scale up my business, and one day I I saw somebody post something about the fact that the average CEO reads between 40 to 52 books a year.
43:20
SPEAKER_05: Wow.
43:20
SPEAKER_05: And that year I had read one book, and I was like, okay, so if I I want to compete with the global CEOs, how can I expect to do that when I'm not behaving like that?
43:38
SPEAKER_05: I need to start shifting my current self to be in alignment with who I want to be.
43:45
SPEAKER_05: I can't expect that the what I want is going to come to me.
43:49
SPEAKER_05: I need to shift myself to be in alignment with that.
43:52
SPEAKER_05: And it changes so much, it changes everything.
43:56
SPEAKER_05: That's the thing like that.
43:57
SPEAKER_01: Just to touch on that, that's actually the secret in my.
44:00
SPEAKER_01: What we're giving the viewers today, they don't know this is the secret.
44:03
SPEAKER_01: Alignment, let me be honest with you.
44:05
SPEAKER_01: Becoming is more important than anything you say.
44:07
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
44:09
SPEAKER_01: They say the universal language is actually becoming, become the thing.
44:12
SPEAKER_01: In fact, there's two points of references that we can go to if we want to learn more about ourselves.
44:16
SPEAKER_01: You know, when you made your debut into the world, maybe 1970, 1991, 2005, whatever year you're born in, um, uh, when you made your debut into the world, there's usually two points of reference that we can go to.
44:26
SPEAKER_01: You can learn from your parents, your family around you, your environment, but usually people go to either theology or science, you know, spiritual teachings, science, whichever side you prefer is up to you.
44:37
SPEAKER_01: Now, uh, let me touch on something in theology that I think is really interesting.
44:40
SPEAKER_01: This was already given to us in the first book in in the Bible, for example, in Genesis, it says God gave us like a clear commandment.
44:48
SPEAKER_01: Very simple.
44:49
SPEAKER_01: The very first thing he said, you know, after he said, Let us make man in our image in Genesis 1, 2, 6.
44:54
SPEAKER_01: If we go a few verses down, he makes the first statement or the first uh order that's given to us as human beings.
45:00
SPEAKER_01: He said, Be fruitful.
45:02
SPEAKER_01: And I want to stop right there.
45:04
SPEAKER_01: He said, be it first, be fruitful.
45:07
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so you have to be you have to be it.
45:10
SPEAKER_01: That's it.
45:11
SPEAKER_01: The alignment is the most important thing.
45:13
SPEAKER_01: So usually I said alignment has four pillars your words, your thoughts, your emotions, and your actions.
45:18
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I guarantee you, no matter this, is I'm gonna make another bold statement.
45:22
SPEAKER_01: If you can get these four pillars in alignment wherever you want, I promise you, it has to come to you.
45:29
SPEAKER_01: If your words and your thoughts are in alignment, you're you get emotionally involved with your idea and you take a physical action, there is no way that whatever you want won't come to you.
45:39
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's alignment, it's very powerful.
45:41
SPEAKER_01: It's the force.
45:43
SPEAKER_05: I wish so many people would understand this, but what you're saying about self-image and self-identity is so true because the reason they don't understand this is they've limited themselves to what they believe about themselves.
45:56
SPEAKER_05: Wow.
45:56
SPEAKER_05: You know, somebody is seeing that billionaire out there, they're watching Elon Musk, they're watching Jeff Bezos, and they're saying, Oh wow, these guys are so great.
46:05
SPEAKER_05: I can never reach there because I am not smart enough, I am not hardworking enough, I'm not ambitious enough, but they can do that.
46:14
SPEAKER_05: But that is just the limitation you are placing on yourself.
46:18
SPEAKER_05: And the worst part is you didn't even set that limitation.
46:22
SPEAKER_05: Somebody set it for you.
46:23
SPEAKER_05: Wow.
46:23
SPEAKER_05: Some teacher told you when you were eight years that you're never going to become anything.
46:28
SPEAKER_05: You know, some girl told you that, please, we're talking about the real men.
46:32
SPEAKER_05: Look at you.
46:33
SPEAKER_05: What do you think you're going to ever become?
46:35
SPEAKER_05: And you put those limitations on yourself, or you lived in a small town, and like you said, reference point.
46:42
SPEAKER_05: You lived in a small town where the richest person owned a pickup truck.
46:46
SPEAKER_05: So, as far as you're concerned, you will only ever own a pickup truck.
46:52
SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
46:53
SPEAKER_05: So when you are hearing of people buying private jets and islands and stuff, you self-identify as somebody who can only admire that and never become that.
47:02
SPEAKER_05: Or let's even move away from wealth.
47:05
SPEAKER_05: You're watching somebody who's fit, you know, you're watching a footballer with a six-pack and perfect health, and you're thinking, oh yeah, you know, these people are like that.
47:16
SPEAKER_05: I struggled for a long time with keeping my health.
47:20
unknown: Okay.
47:20
SPEAKER_05: Because I self-identified as a workaholic.
47:25
SPEAKER_05: So I work too much to be able to work out.
47:29
SPEAKER_05: I work too much to be able to wake up at 5 a.m.
47:32
SPEAKER_05: Because I'm sleeping at 4 a.m.
47:34
SPEAKER_05: on some days.
47:34
SPEAKER_05: How can I wake up at 5 a.m.?
47:36
SPEAKER_04: To go to the gym.
47:37
SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
47:37
SPEAKER_05: I work too much to say I'm going to meditate because I have too many things to do.
47:41
SPEAKER_05: But when I started to change that mindset and realize that there are people working 10 times harder than me.
47:47
SPEAKER_05: Wow.
47:47
SPEAKER_05: There are people achieving more than me and they are fit.
47:51
SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
47:52
SPEAKER_05: Do you get me?
47:53
SPEAKER_05: So the only reason I'm not being able to do it is because I've told myself that I'm not able to do it.
48:00
SPEAKER_01: And just to touch on where you said earlier as well, you said something I think is really interesting for the viewers is that we often see Richie's and oh, I can never do what Richie does.
48:08
SPEAKER_01: Let me tell you where this usually comes from.
48:10
SPEAKER_01: That usually comes from the fact that people the only person that knows all the lies you've ever told is yourself.
48:19
SPEAKER_01: Now, why am I saying this, Richie?
48:21
SPEAKER_01: Uh the reason why it's easy for us to uh uh subscribe something to someone else, like oh, Richie can do it, but Rudolph can't do it, is because you Rudolph knows all the lies that he's told himself.
48:32
SPEAKER_01: Every time Rudolph said he was gonna go to the gym and he didn't follow through, Rudolph knows.
48:36
SPEAKER_01: Every time Rudolph started a business and he failed, or he said he was gonna start a business and he didn't do it, he didn't follow through, Rudolph knows.
48:43
SPEAKER_01: But however, I don't know all the lies that Richie told himself.
48:46
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't know all the lies Elon Musk told himself.
48:49
SPEAKER_01: So because we our parts keep playing back in our mind, say, oh, every time you do something, you never follow through.
48:55
SPEAKER_01: So you can't do it.
48:57
SPEAKER_01: But uh you see, Richie, he's he can definitely do it.
49:00
SPEAKER_01: So it's it's literally this is what's happening with people.
49:03
SPEAKER_01: The most important uh dialogue that you ever have is not the one that you're having with your husband or your wife.
49:08
SPEAKER_01: They're very important.
49:09
SPEAKER_01: It's not the one you're having with your boyfriend, girlfriend, not even the ones you're having with your children.
49:13
SPEAKER_01: The most important dialogue you're ever going to have is the one you're having with yourself.
49:16
SPEAKER_01: You see, every morning a version of you wakes up and says, Why don't we push forward to the future self that we're excited about?
49:22
SPEAKER_01: You know, that's a self-iding self-image.
49:24
SPEAKER_01: And there's also another version of you saying, Oh, let's just stay the way it is.
49:28
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
49:29
SPEAKER_01: And then every single day you have to make a decision.
49:31
SPEAKER_01: And unfortunately, many people choose the version, the latter one, where the the future that they're supposed to be excited about has now become the past.
49:40
SPEAKER_01: And now they're living in this loop, and it's like, I can't escape it.
49:43
SPEAKER_01: What's going on?
49:44
SPEAKER_01: But what's going on is that you keep choosing the same old stories that it's not even true anymore.
49:49
SPEAKER_01: Maybe it was true 10 years ago, but it's not true right now.
49:51
SPEAKER_01: And this is the loop, and you feel like you're stuck right now.
49:54
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
49:54
SPEAKER_01: So this is why this is so important.
49:56
SPEAKER_01: That internal dialogue you're having with yourself, it cannot be underestimated.
50:00
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's the most important one you have.
50:02
SPEAKER_01: Not the one you have with your kids, the one you're having with yourself every single day.
50:06
SPEAKER_05: You know, it's like you're describing my fitness journey perfectly right now.
50:10
SPEAKER_05: Because I always say, I have achieved so much.
50:13
SPEAKER_05: Anything I say I'm going to do, I get it done.
50:16
SPEAKER_05: But when it comes to fitness, every time I'll go three weeks, then boom, I'll stop.
50:21
SPEAKER_05: Then I'll go two months, then I'll stop.
50:23
SPEAKER_05: Now, I'm going to say this thing.
50:25
SPEAKER_05: Ochame Kwame, if you're watching this, let me let you know.
50:28
SPEAKER_05: The journey I'm on right now, my biggest inspiration came from Ochame Kwame.
50:34
SPEAKER_05: Do you know why?
50:35
SPEAKER_05: So he said something to me when I started and he saw me post about it, and I was working out and everything.
50:40
SPEAKER_05: And he called me on the phone and he said, he knows that based on how much tenacity I have, once I say I'm on this fitness journey, I am definitely going to achieve all the goals.
50:52
SPEAKER_05: And when he said that, it shifted something in my mind and made me think, but really, I have enough tenacity to achieve very difficult things, things that most people could only dream of.
51:05
SPEAKER_05: I do it so easily.
51:07
SPEAKER_05: So why have I told myself that I can't do this?
51:11
SPEAKER_05: Why do I keep excusing myself?
51:14
SPEAKER_05: Like when I start something and maybe I have a production, so for one week I can't work out.
51:19
SPEAKER_05: When I come back, then I tell myself, oh, here we go again, then I stop.
51:23
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
51:24
SPEAKER_05: Why have I lied to myself that I'm somebody incapable of doing this?
51:29
SPEAKER_05: So his confidence in me reignited something that made me realize I need to change my identity.
51:36
SPEAKER_05: And if most of us would do that, like that person sitting out there who's been unemployed for three years, who's told themselves I can't open a business, or that person who's an employee and is watching the other employees being promoted to manager, and somebody's even become CEO rising from the janitor, and they've told themselves, Well, I guess I'm going to work at the desk forever.
51:59
SPEAKER_05: Why are you telling yourself that?
52:01
SPEAKER_05: At what point do you start to change the narrative?
52:05
SPEAKER_05: Um, somebody said something so profound.
52:08
SPEAKER_05: They said, Imagine the day you were born.
52:12
SPEAKER_05: You were given a human being and told to take care of that human being for the rest of your life.
52:19
SPEAKER_05: Wow.
52:20
SPEAKER_05: How would you treat that person?
52:22
SPEAKER_05: You would speak to them nice, you would give them everything they need, you will always be there for that person.
52:27
SPEAKER_05: Well, that's exactly what happened.
52:29
SPEAKER_05: You were born with one human being to take care of, and that human being is you.
52:35
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
52:36
SPEAKER_05: So speak to yourself nice.
52:37
SPEAKER_05: The same way you tell your child, you can be anything that you want to be, the same way you tell your child, I'll always be there for you.
52:44
SPEAKER_05: Keep going.
52:44
SPEAKER_05: Even if you fall, I'll be here to pick you up.
52:48
SPEAKER_05: Tell yourself that.
52:49
SPEAKER_01: And to touch on what you said, uh, one thing I always tell my clients is that would you speak to your best friend the way you speak to yourself?
52:58
SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
52:59
SPEAKER_01: And would they still be your best friend if you do speak to them?
53:03
unknown: Yeah.
53:03
SPEAKER_01: I mean, think about as soon as your best friend comes to you, Rich, you have this business idea.
53:07
SPEAKER_01: Oh, you can't do it.
53:08
SPEAKER_01: Like, you know how many times you failed.
53:10
SPEAKER_01: That's how people talk to themselves, by the way.
53:12
SPEAKER_01: Oh, uh, when an idea comes to you, I think I should really start it.
53:16
SPEAKER_01: No, no, I don't think you can do it.
53:17
SPEAKER_01: Remember last two projects you did, you had a production company, it failed, don't do.
53:21
SPEAKER_01: And then you're telling yourself, you give yourself reason.
53:23
SPEAKER_01: And I say something, whatever you look for in life, you'll surely find.
53:26
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, whatever you look for.
53:27
SPEAKER_01: I'll always make this funny joke.
53:29
SPEAKER_01: If if a couple are home and let's say the man is going to the bathroom, he's taking a shower, his phone is there, and the woman decides, okay, let me go freeze phone.
53:38
SPEAKER_01: Look, I promise you, whatever the woman's looking for, she'll find why because she came with the mindset, I need to find something.
53:43
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it could be even an old picture that the man doesn't even know that is on his phone.
53:47
SPEAKER_01: So in life, whatever you're looking for, you will surely find.
53:50
SPEAKER_01: If you're looking for reasons why this can't work, you will find that reason.
53:53
SPEAKER_01: I promise you.
53:54
SPEAKER_05: If we're looking for reasons why it will work, you'll find those reasons too.
53:59
SPEAKER_01: Because the law of polarity tells us that in order for there to be an inside, there has to be an outside.
54:03
SPEAKER_01: In order for there to be good, there has to be bad.
54:05
SPEAKER_01: That means that even in a good situation, if you want to find a bad situation, you'll find it.
54:09
SPEAKER_01: Likewise, if you in a bad situation, this is very challenging, in a very bad situation, there could be a good situation that you can find in that situation.
54:17
SPEAKER_01: But usually we uh emotions clouds our judgment, so we don't really find that.
54:22
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and just to touch on what you said as well, for example, if you want to become the biggest podcaster out there, the question for Richie is very simple.
54:29
SPEAKER_01: If when I get to that level, how would I behave?
54:33
SPEAKER_01: Okay, then behave like that immediately from now on.
54:35
SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
54:36
SPEAKER_01: You don't wait till I'm waiting till I get this amount of subscribers.
54:39
SPEAKER_01: When I no, no, no, no.
54:41
SPEAKER_01: As far as I'm concerned, I am the biggest podcaster in the world, and that's the mindset.
54:45
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's the mindset.
54:46
SPEAKER_01: See, someone with my level of understanding respects that.
54:49
SPEAKER_01: Someone who's very inferior will be like, Oh, who does he think he is?
54:52
SPEAKER_01: What does he mean?
54:53
SPEAKER_05: But they don't understand that this is how you have to operate, you know, and that's why they say that winners are delusional, you know, and me, I am very delusional.
55:04
SPEAKER_05: Whenever I'm starting something, yeah, there is no doubt in my mind I am going to succeed.
55:10
SPEAKER_05: So my whole thought process is oh, when I succeed, what will I do?
55:14
SPEAKER_05: So, like when I was starting masterminds, there was no thoughts in my mind that's like, what if people don't like it?
55:22
SPEAKER_05: What if I don't get this?
55:23
SPEAKER_05: What no?
55:24
SPEAKER_05: My thought process was okay, so when I do masterminds and people love it, what am I going to do next?
55:29
SPEAKER_05: What am I building on top of masterminds?
55:31
SPEAKER_05: So before starting masterminds, I thought, okay, should I should I do a summit?
55:35
SPEAKER_05: Should I do this?
55:36
SPEAKER_05: Like after doing a few episodes in Ghana, I went to essay to shoot.
55:39
SPEAKER_05: I'm going to another country soon because in my mind, this is the biggest podcast in Africa.
55:44
SPEAKER_05: I need to share it with all of Africa.
55:47
SPEAKER_05: I I don't I I don't think loss is possible.
55:53
SPEAKER_05: Do you get me?
55:54
SPEAKER_05: And you need to be delusional like that to win.
55:56
SPEAKER_05: And the thing that makes me certain that winning is the only thing I can do is when you shift your mindset to understand that failure is not the end.
56:07
SPEAKER_05: It is just a stepping stone to the win.
56:10
SPEAKER_05: Then you understand.
56:11
SPEAKER_05: Like, let's say, when I started Masterminds, I watched some of the biggest podcasts that I love, I like.
56:18
SPEAKER_05: I went to their pages and I saw this one has 400 and something episodes.
56:22
SPEAKER_05: This has 700 episodes, this has three, and I was like, that's nice.
56:25
SPEAKER_05: So I said, okay, my target is to reach 500 episodes.
56:28
SPEAKER_05: Let's go.
56:29
SPEAKER_05: So I don't care if this episode gets 100 views, if the next episode gets 50,000, if the next episode gets 10,000, I don't care.
56:40
SPEAKER_05: Yes, my win is that I am putting this out there, and as long as I'm able to keep doing that, I keep winning.
56:47
SPEAKER_05: And because of that positive attitude, I'll be there.
56:50
SPEAKER_05: I drop an episode, so many views, and I'm like, oh, interesting.
56:55
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I didn't even see that coming because as far as I'm concerned, I am doing this to put myself and put my information out there.
57:03
SPEAKER_05: But people need to stop limiting themselves by telling themselves every reason why they will fail before they start.
57:12
SPEAKER_01: And it's only delusional until it works.
57:13
SPEAKER_01: That's what they say.
57:14
SPEAKER_01: It's only delusional.
57:15
SPEAKER_01: When it works, you're a genius.
57:17
SPEAKER_01: Oh, Richard, how did you do this?
57:18
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
57:19
SPEAKER_01: Oh, but remember, I had to be very delusional for this to work.
57:22
SPEAKER_01: And and there's a you said something I really love here.
57:25
SPEAKER_01: You said you're focusing on the fact that I'm doing 500 episodes.
57:29
SPEAKER_01: It doesn't matter whatever happens in between 500 episodes.
57:32
SPEAKER_01: Let me tell you why this is important.
57:34
SPEAKER_01: There's a great book.
57:34
SPEAKER_01: Uh, many people in the personal development space know think and grow rich, probably ready some of the time.
57:39
SPEAKER_01: There's a particular chapter that I would urge the viewers to go and read.
57:43
SPEAKER_01: It's called Persistence.
57:44
SPEAKER_01: In that chapter, Napoleon Hill, the author, said the only difference between people that were successful during this time, we'll talk about uh Ardu, Andrew Carnegie and all these people, Roosevelt.
57:55
SPEAKER_01: And he said the only difference with Henry Ford and the people that weren't successful is that they will get an idea and they will stick with it.
58:01
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they don't care if it takes them years, decades, they don't let go of the idea.
58:05
SPEAKER_01: I'll be sitting down and asking what kind of mindset will someone have and say to themselves, like, I'm I'm building something, I failed a thousand times, but I'm gonna keep going.
58:16
SPEAKER_05: I mean, let's even come to current times.
58:18
SPEAKER_05: Let's look at Elon Musk.
58:20
SPEAKER_05: How many times has Elon Musk been laughed at for being crazy or for being delusional?
58:25
SPEAKER_05: He starts something like, oh, please not gonna work, and then it works.
58:28
SPEAKER_05: Then three years later, he starts something else, oh, please not gonna work, and then it works.
58:32
SPEAKER_05: I keep wondering when are people going to get it?
58:35
SPEAKER_05: He's not going to stop until it works.
58:39
SPEAKER_01: That's as simple as that.
58:40
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and what people, I think we've been conditioned really wrong that we think failure is not part of the process.
58:45
SPEAKER_01: Failure is part of the process.
58:46
SPEAKER_01: If I told you, let's make a secret formula of success, bring your ingredients.
58:51
SPEAKER_01: Some people will say, okay, to become successful, you put the ingredient hard work, um, um, tenacity, um, um, willingness, and um um ambition, but very few people will put um failure in there, but they don't understand that failure is part of the formula in order to get success.
59:10
SPEAKER_05: I tell people that I know I'm going to fail a number of times before I get there.
59:15
SPEAKER_05: So I want to fail fast.
59:17
SPEAKER_05: You have to fail more.
59:18
SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
59:19
SPEAKER_01: Like it sounds crazy, I'll say that, but it's true.
59:21
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, when I have an idea, like, look, if this thing is going to take me two years of failure to get it right, it will take me two years of failure.
59:31
SPEAKER_05: So let me start today and get the failure out of the way.
59:35
SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
59:36
SPEAKER_05: There's no there's no waiting, there's no perfect formula.
59:39
SPEAKER_05: If like your business is going to take you three years to succeed, if you wait 10 years to start, it will still take you three years to succeed.
59:48
SPEAKER_05: But we keep thinking that maybe that person, you know, like my rise to fame and success.
59:53
SPEAKER_05: A lot of people didn't see the failure.
59:56
SPEAKER_05: So when I started my record label, they didn't see us building from ground up, they didn't see all the things.
1:00:02
SPEAKER_05: So people said we're an overnight success.
1:00:05
SPEAKER_05: I wish I failed in my bedroom.
1:00:08
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, you didn't see that part.
1:00:10
SPEAKER_05: Um, one thing that I've heard about Lynx for so long is every artist on Lynx has succeeded.
1:00:16
SPEAKER_05: No, that's not true.
1:00:18
SPEAKER_05: It's just that the ones that failed failed so hard you didn't hear about them.
1:00:23
SPEAKER_03: Wow.
1:00:23
SPEAKER_05: So people have to understand you need to fail.
1:00:27
SPEAKER_05: Getting things right is about knowing how to not get it wrong anymore.
1:00:33
SPEAKER_01: But you don't you think that the reason why people are afraid to fail, because that's a big one, fail failure is because people have it's almost like an ego problem.
1:00:40
SPEAKER_01: They want, yeah, they want to look flawless.
1:00:42
SPEAKER_01: Like when I start my business, I went from zero to 100.
1:00:45
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, people don't want to, I call it the cringe moment.
1:00:48
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they don't want to like to do 500 episodes.
1:00:51
SPEAKER_01: There's a few episodes you might cringe at, like, oh why did I say that?
1:00:54
SPEAKER_01: Why did I do this?
1:00:55
SPEAKER_01: People don't want, they want to the everything has to be flawless.
1:00:59
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, some of my episodes that I cringe at right now.
1:01:02
SPEAKER_01: But it's needed, yeah.
1:01:03
SPEAKER_01: Mr.
1:01:03
SPEAKER_01: Beast, have you seen a video of Mr.
1:01:04
SPEAKER_01: Beast on YouTube?
1:01:05
SPEAKER_01: He was counting to was it a million or something?
1:01:07
SPEAKER_01: He was just counting, like he didn't know what to do.
1:01:10
SPEAKER_01: He ended up, they said he released about 400 something videos before he got his first viral video.
1:01:15
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, imagine the commitment to that.
1:01:17
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, imagine how many people laugh at him.
1:01:20
SPEAKER_05: His family members, his friends, who said, This guy is not serious, go get a job.
1:01:24
SPEAKER_05: Look at the cringe thing.
1:01:26
SPEAKER_05: Someone would even be embarrassed that they know him.
1:01:29
SPEAKER_05: But now those same people will be saying, Oh, Mr.
1:01:32
SPEAKER_05: Beast, I grew up with Mr.
1:01:34
SPEAKER_05: Beast.
1:01:34
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah.
1:01:35
SPEAKER_05: One thing people need to remember is nobody started out as a pro.
1:01:41
SPEAKER_05: Everybody was an amateur.
1:01:44
SPEAKER_05: So you cannot get to the goodies, you cannot get to the end of the rainbow without going through the rain.
1:01:51
SPEAKER_05: You need to go through looking silly, go through that horrible time.
1:01:56
SPEAKER_05: Like that person out there with wonderful content ideas right now, who is thinking, I don't have the right camera, you know, I don't know how to speak in front of camera.
1:02:06
SPEAKER_05: And what if my friends laugh at me?
1:02:08
SPEAKER_05: You know, I'm a university graduate.
1:02:10
SPEAKER_05: How can I come and stand on TikTok and dance?
1:02:12
SPEAKER_05: I'm not saying go and dance, but that person needs to remember that nobody started perfect.
1:02:20
SPEAKER_05: Michael Jackson didn't start perfect, Usher didn't start perfect, Dance God Lloyd didn't start perfect.
1:02:26
SPEAKER_05: They all just took a chance and kept failing until they failed no more.
1:02:31
SPEAKER_01: An expert was once a beginner.
1:02:33
SPEAKER_01: Every single person, the most, the most amount of whoever's got the most amount of followers, everyone, believe it or not, I know it sounds crazy, start with zero following.
1:02:41
SPEAKER_01: Do you know how crazy that sounds like?
1:02:43
SPEAKER_01: The person that did a lot of things.
1:02:44
SPEAKER_01: When they opened an account, there was zero following.
1:02:45
SPEAKER_01: Legion was no following at all.
1:02:47
SPEAKER_01: Like so that that it always blows my mind away when uh when I say that an expert was once a beginner.
1:02:53
SPEAKER_01: And I don't know why we feel like sometimes we feel like that, you know, because Rich has done it, there's no space for me.
1:02:59
SPEAKER_01: That's not true.
1:02:59
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's not true.
1:03:00
SPEAKER_01: That's something oh well Mr.
1:03:02
SPEAKER_01: Beast is there, Richie's there.
1:03:04
SPEAKER_01: You know, there's a great video that was surfacing like a couple of months ago.
1:03:07
SPEAKER_01: I think you need to watch it.
1:03:08
SPEAKER_01: The YouTube founders, they were on the verge of giving up.
1:03:12
SPEAKER_01: It was in 2006, it's like, oh, we nobody's watching our thing.
1:03:16
SPEAKER_01: I've and he used the word I'm feeling depressed.
1:03:19
SPEAKER_01: I think Mr.
1:03:19
SPEAKER_01: Beast commented on it like, Thank you for not giving up.
1:03:21
SPEAKER_01: Because it's pretty it made him a billionaire.
1:03:23
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so when I think about that, I said, Oh, even YouTube that we look at now, they was the founders.
1:03:29
SPEAKER_01: There's a video out there.
1:03:30
SPEAKER_01: If you the guys Google it, YouTube founders about to give up.
1:03:33
SPEAKER_01: Literally, they're talking about like how many views did we get?
1:03:36
SPEAKER_01: Nobody's watching.
1:03:36
SPEAKER_01: I think we should shut it down.
1:03:38
SPEAKER_05: I mean, remember that Netflix almost gave up and sold to Blockbuster.
1:03:41
SPEAKER_05: Look at that.
1:03:42
SPEAKER_05: They only walked out of the meeting because Blockbuster laughed at them when they said they wanted 50 million.
1:03:48
SPEAKER_05: Blockbuster was like, Are you guys serious?
1:03:51
SPEAKER_05: And now look at Netflix.
1:03:53
SPEAKER_05: So if all these people had given up, if the Wright brothers had given up, we wouldn't be flying by now.
1:03:58
SPEAKER_01: And you I always say this the Wright brothers, I need you to understand.
1:04:02
SPEAKER_01: Now people are excited, they book their flight, they're going to South Africa, New York, London.
1:04:08
SPEAKER_01: At one point, these brothers said this this was their mission statement.
1:04:12
SPEAKER_01: They said we can see people flying in the sky with the birds.
1:04:14
SPEAKER_00: You know how crazy.
1:04:15
SPEAKER_00: You know how delusional that sounds?
1:04:17
SPEAKER_01: I won't lie to you, Richie.
1:04:18
SPEAKER_01: Listen, I'm a coach, I'm an identity strategist.
1:04:20
SPEAKER_01: I would tell them, put these people in a mental institution.
1:04:23
SPEAKER_01: They are about to kill all of us.
1:04:25
SPEAKER_05: If I called you tomorrow and said, I'm about to invent teleportation, what would you say?
1:04:30
SPEAKER_01: Say, Richie, you're out of your mind.
1:04:33
SPEAKER_01: So literally they said we can see um the birds, we can see human beings flying in the sky with the birds.
1:04:38
SPEAKER_01: This was their mission statement and it didn't stop.
1:04:41
SPEAKER_01: In 1912 in North Carolina, they flew the first plane for about 12 seconds.
1:04:45
SPEAKER_01: About 12 seconds.
1:04:46
SPEAKER_01: Even then, people were like, Well, it was only 12 seconds.
1:04:48
SPEAKER_01: But first, you said I couldn't even get the plane up.
1:04:50
SPEAKER_01: Now I flew for 12 seconds.
1:04:51
SPEAKER_05: Now you say I I watched the video of a TV um documentary they did, I think in the 1980s or so, when the credit card was invented.
1:05:02
SPEAKER_05: Wow.
1:05:03
SPEAKER_05: Okay.
1:05:03
SPEAKER_05: And it was insulted.
1:05:05
SPEAKER_05: Like they did a vox pop, they went on the street.
1:05:08
SPEAKER_05: So many people insulted it.
1:05:09
SPEAKER_05: That why would I want to put my money on a card?
1:05:12
SPEAKER_05: It was insulted.
1:05:14
SPEAKER_05: I watched a video that they did when the mobile phone was invented, and everybody said this is the most stupid invention ever.
1:05:21
SPEAKER_05: Why would I want to carry my phone with me?
1:05:24
SPEAKER_05: Like everybody was delusional when they had an idea.
1:05:29
SPEAKER_05: But when it works, we praise them.
1:05:31
SPEAKER_05: You're a genius.
1:05:32
SPEAKER_05: Elon Musk says he's taking us to Mars.
1:05:35
SPEAKER_05: Don't we all think he's delusional?
1:05:36
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah.
1:05:37
SPEAKER_05: But generations from now, they'll be calling him, you know, the founder, the founder.
1:05:43
SPEAKER_01: The founder, the one that put us there.
1:05:45
SPEAKER_01: No, it's amazing.
1:05:47
SPEAKER_01: When you look at the stories, and one thing I say, Richie, is that success always leaves clues.
1:05:51
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we don't have to reinvent the wheel.
1:05:53
SPEAKER_01: Um, the reason why I'm saying that is that the patterns, there's certain patterns, you know, in that book, the first book I wrote, I said the 10 common.
1:06:00
SPEAKER_01: Denominators are found with successful people.
1:06:01
SPEAKER_01: There's common denominators that successful people have.
1:06:04
SPEAKER_01: All you have to do is just follow that common denominator and then it will work for you.
1:06:08
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's a law.
1:06:09
SPEAKER_01: The laws have to work.
1:06:10
SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
1:06:11
SPEAKER_05: The path may be different, but the principles are the same.
1:06:14
SPEAKER_01: The same.
1:06:14
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
1:06:15
SPEAKER_01: You can't change that.
1:06:16
SPEAKER_05: I need you to do something for me.
1:06:17
SPEAKER_05: This is one thing I always love to do.
1:06:19
SPEAKER_05: Okay.
1:06:19
SPEAKER_05: Please look in that camera there.
1:06:20
SPEAKER_05: That's your camera.
1:06:21
SPEAKER_05: I want you to imagine that young person out there who has the wrong self-identity, has the wrong self-image.
1:06:29
SPEAKER_05: What one thing can you tell them to bring them out of it and make them the mastermind they need to be?
1:06:35
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so to the person watching me right now, I want you to understand one thing.
1:06:40
SPEAKER_01: Your past is only a life lesson, never a life sentence.
1:06:44
SPEAKER_01: Now, what do I mean by that?
1:06:45
SPEAKER_01: What I'm trying to tell you is that there's things that maybe happened in your past that you are not so proud of, maybe things that was outside of your control.
1:06:52
SPEAKER_01: What I would like for you to understand that those things are only there to shape you.
1:06:57
SPEAKER_01: They're not there.
1:06:58
SPEAKER_01: That identity doesn't have to be the identity that you carry for the rest of your life.
1:07:02
SPEAKER_01: What I would like for you to do is to challenge every belief that you have about yourself, all the negative stuff.
1:07:09
SPEAKER_01: Once you challenge it, then I would like for you to rewrite a new belief for yourself.
1:07:14
SPEAKER_01: And when you rewrite the new belief for yourself, people are going to call you delusional, but listen to me.
1:07:18
SPEAKER_01: What I would like for you to do is to read it to yourself over and over and over again.
1:07:23
SPEAKER_01: Do you know why?
1:07:24
SPEAKER_01: Um, these are one of the things that politicians love to do.
1:07:27
SPEAKER_01: They say that if you tell a lie over and over and over again, you'll begin to believe it to be true.
1:07:34
SPEAKER_01: So there's certain things that you they told you that they said about you that it's not necessarily true, but they told you over and over again, it be imprinted into yourself identity, you accepted it to be true.
1:07:44
SPEAKER_01: Now I want you to flip the script and then change the things that you've been saying about yourself every single day, and then read it to yourself over and over again.
1:07:52
SPEAKER_01: And then this is the most important thing: take physical action every single day that's in alignment with what you've said, and then you'll begin to see things changing.
1:08:02
SPEAKER_01: Remember, your past is only a life lesson, never a life sentence.
1:08:05
SPEAKER_01: Don't put yourself in some um mental prison that you can't escape from.
1:08:10
SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
1:08:11
SPEAKER_05: That's so powerful, Rudolph.
1:08:12
SPEAKER_05: I can't wait to read this book.
1:08:14
SPEAKER_05: Your new book.
1:08:15
SPEAKER_05: It comes out first of May, yes.
1:08:16
SPEAKER_05: First of May, yeah.
1:08:17
SPEAKER_05: So I'll read it and let you guys know what I think about it.
1:08:21
SPEAKER_05: Honestly, I think you're very insightful.
1:08:23
SPEAKER_05: Thank you, sir.
1:08:23
SPEAKER_05: I've really enjoyed the conversation, and I'm hoping as you've watched this episode, you are one step closer to being the mastermind I know you are destined to be.
1:08:33
SPEAKER_05: Thank you for watching this episode.
1:08:34
SPEAKER_05: Now, the Mastermind's dream is about building a community of people who have the right mindset and are ready to take their success into their own hands.
1:08:44
SPEAKER_05: So do me this wonderful favor subscribe and share with anybody out there who you believe you want to see have the right mindset to succeed so that together we can all become the masterminds we deserve to be.
