- Amanda: What is up, guys? Welcome back to another episode of Let's Talk Football Married Edition, baby. It's Thursday, October 29th. I'm Amanda, and of course, I'm joined by my lovely co-host and husband, Drew Bush. Drew: What's up wedding party and also happy Halloween. It is Halloween weekend. Hope everybody has fun plans, trick or treat with the kids or whatever you guys might be getting into. Amanda: Whatever you want to get into. I feel like we're super boring because alas we did not dress up for Halloween. but it's fine. It's fine. Drew: Yeah, that would require me to actually have a costume to dress into. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Amanda: Planning, planning ahead, yes. So planning ahead is the key word here, and I think everyone, specifically the women that can are listening to this can relate like zero plan ahead. Yes, it's sitting in a box downstairs. The entire thing. No, it's here. Everything's Drew: Do you have your entire costume for this weekend ready? The entire piece. Weren't you waiting on something? Amanda: here. Drew: I have half of mine. Amanda: You don't have anything. Drew: I do have half of mine. It just happens to be the stuff that I already own. Amanda: Shit you already own. Drew: It'll be okay. Amanda: We're hosting a Halloween party, by the way. hosting in our home. People come to our house and my husband will get his Halloween costume likely tomorrow. It's on Saturday. Okay. Brock on you know what though? Drew: Yeah, yeah, yeah, or Saturday morning. Amanda: Here's my thing. As long as it's done, I don't give a shit. As long as I don't have to do it for you, I don't give a shit because I will not be doing Drew: You Amanda: it for you. Drew: you won't have to do it for me. You never have to do that. Amanda: Exactly. Precisely. Precisely. All right, cool. Well if you see if you're watching on YouTube you can see. We just go get a dog and her tail is will make grand appearances in videos now and you might see my head disappear from screen to make sure she's not eating a cord, but we got a dog. Her name's Jenny. She's great. Drew: Yeah, she's pretty cool. She just chews on fucking everything. Amanda: She's pretty cool. She's just one and is a puppy and Drew is overstimulated. Drew: Yeah, she just chews on everything. It's it's annoying. But Amanda: It's a thing. It's a thing. Yes. All right. Ooh, a Monday night. It wasn't it Drew: All right, Monday night football. The Cowboys beat the Eagles. Amanda: wasn't depressing. Like it was it was a decently good game. Drew: Fine. It's just it's not a good match. Like the Eagles aren't a good team, Amanda: No. Drew: and the Cowboys aren't a good team. The division sucks. Yeah. Amanda: The division's terrible. However, I did win a hundred and eighty dollars on a bet. So it was a great game for Amanda. Loved it. Had a great time. Drew: Yeah. On on a ten dollar bed. It pretty big odds, so that was pretty good. Amanda: Ten dollar bet? A hundred well I only bet when I can make a lot of money and I will not bet more than ten dollars because I'm a baby and I'm too scared. And so I like to bet on insane odds that really never happens. So I lose a lot of money. But when I win, whoo! It's like the dopamine rush I needed. I win babe, baby. Drew: All right. for the game, Dak Prescott looked pretty good. Threw a couple touchdowns. CD and George both got on the on the board in the end zone. Javante couldn't be stopped running the football. essentially the entire Cowboys team that you started was good outside of Jake Ferguson, thankfully. So I was yeah, I needed less than three points. Amanda: We we talked about it on Monday of like we needed an anvil to fall on Jake Ferguson and it did. that's funny. Drew: Uh-huh. And it did, so I won that matchup, so that was fantastic. Went three and one on the weekend. Tanner McKee is going to be serviceable for fantasy with lower f Amanda: Yeah. Drew: with lower floors for everybody, but he's good enough to get them the ball, which is great. He's not like Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: that turd Cooper Rush. he's not Cooper Rush, but he also Amanda: He's not Cooper Rushing you, but Drew: missed some like wide open throws that Amanda: Yeah. Drew: He wasn't even under pressure. So it's just the floor's gonna be lower, but he sh he has shown enough that he will be usable, specifically in matchups with bad defenses. So like Dallas has a bad defense. Tanner McKee was good enough to provide value against a bad defense, not for himself, obviously, but for other guys. Amanda: If he has a good defense plan against him, I'm scared for you. Drew: Saquon came out and immediately got hurt again and then came back in and then got hurt again. Amanda: told you that well he did end up actually getting hurt again, right? back issues. The first time Drew: It was his back. Amanda: it was just I think he was nervous. I told you the announcers were like, Up, he's already hurt. One run. And I was like Drew: They said that it they said that he t yeah, they said that's where he tweaked his back though. Yeah. Amanda: that is funny. Okay. I just thought he was nervous because think about it. You're coming back. Specifically they said he's never had an hand hamstring injury in his history of his career. So imagine having that and I'd be scared of one wrong push off and Drew: For sure. Amanda: my hammy's gonna and I don't want my hammy to like snap or some shit. Jesus crap. Drew: Yeah. Yeah, for sure. I just it's such a weird situation. I don't know what to do with Saquon. Like is he gonna play? Is he not? If he does play, is he gonna do what he just did last week? Like he had seven carries, which is terrible. He Amanda: Yes. Drew: just turned it into sixty two and a touchdown, which he became good for fantasy or good enough for what you expected. But like if he doesn't score there or if he goes out there and rushes five times for twenty three yards and and doesn't have a touchdown Amanda: Or let's say he did that one big breakout Drew: He's gonna crush you. Amanda: run and then left and ec 'cause like that was what they were on the announcement. They like, he's done, they're gonna shut him down and I was like, If you started that, you are pissed. Drew: It's it's we'll get to it a little bit later, but I think he is until I see full health completely matchup dependent. And unless he's playing a a bottom rush defense, I don't think I would play him with the the scared ability for him to just go out quickly, so Amanda: Yeah. Yeah. All right. Well, let's get into week eight here. We're gonna go over a bunch of stuff. So today we've got obviously we're gonna talk about the injury report, get you all up to date on what injuries you need to be on the lookout for. We'll dive into all of our eight-week matchups for the week eight, of course. All Drew: Our eight week eight our eight week matchups. Amanda: it's all right, we're gonna get it together, don't worry. We're gonna look at all week eight matchups. We're gonna do our weekly prop bet segment for better or for worse, but we're gonna start off with our Sunday sweethearts. Who are we hanging our hat on this week for week number eight? Give me your quarterback, Sunny Sweetheart. Drew: Yeah, I'm gonna go Dak Prescott. We just talked about Amanda: Love it. Drew: him against the Eagles, plays the Arizona Cardinals. Terrible defense. They're 30th in strength of schedule against quarterbacks. So very, very possible to have a big game here. He just came off of a very productive three touchdown game against the Eagles. They're gonna have to throw the football. and it also showed that game showed me that Dallas' defense is bad enough to keep. Other bad teams in games. So they let Tanner Amanda: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Drew: McKee keep the game close through three quarters, which forces Dallas's offense to continue to throw the football and not just pack it in. That was Tanner McKee and a very banged up Eagles. You know, Damian Pierce and Elijah Mitchell were getting the bulk of the carries and no Wicks, no Smith, like it Cooper Amanda: there was no Wicks, no Smith, like you were it was Makkay Lemon. Drew: and Malachi Lemon and a banged up offensive line. And if they allow them to continue to stay in the game. They're gonna let the Arizona Cardinals stay in the game. So I I Arizona's also top ten against the run. So it's gonna be more difficult than it was last week where Javante won't get 168 yards on the ground. Excuse me. So, you know, I'm I'm in on Dak this week. Amanda: Yeah, and I'm in on the opposite side of the football. I am hanging my hat. Just like Drew said, they s you can see that if they're playing a team that, they're they're they're gonna let the other team stay in it, right? And against a not so great Tanner McKee, well, Jacoby Brissett is better than Tanner McKee. and so I'm hanging my hat on Jacoby Brissett this week. Dallas allows the six most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. Every opposing quarterback except JLon Daniels J Lon Daniels. And Tanner McKee has scored 20 points against them. So even with again, you know, Jalen Daniels and Tanner McKee, everyone's been able to put 20 points up or more against Dallas, which again, Joby Bur Jacoby Bursett is in a tier above these guys. So that's a great one, in my opinion. he can obviously capitalize on a shitty defense in week five against Detroit. He had three passing touchdowns and more than 25 fantasy points. And it looks like the running back room for Arizona is a conundrum of injuries and is Jeremiah Love gonna play, Tyler Gier's hurt, is it just gonna be bam night? So I do feel like they're gonna have to pass the ball a little bit more and that favors Jacobi Brissett in this matchup. Drew: Yeah, I like that one as well. my running back of the week's gonna be Chase Brown from the Bengals. look, I know it's been rough recently. He's had one touchdown on the year, which is awful. Touchdown regression, regressing to the mean, so back to where he should be. It's coming. second half of last year was when he really turned it on. The Bengals just they're not running the ball very well. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: Samaj P. Ryan's getting some decent work, but they basically went from a fifty-fifty split week five, had a bye week, came back, seventy-five percent snap share to Chase Brown. So I'm not worried about him seeding work to Smaj A. P. Ryan, at least not more than what he had in the past. Tennessee twenty seventh in strength of schedule against the running back, so it's a great matchup. They just gave up ninety six yards and two touchdowns to Quinshaunt Studkins last week. So I'm in on Chase Brown this week and I think this is the opportunity that you have to go get him now if you believe in him rest of season. Now might Amanda: So scary. Drew: be the last chance to get him at a pretty heavy value coming off of some pretty poor performances so far this year. Amanda: I know it, I it. I've thought about it. And I almost picked Chase Brown, but I was like, God, it's just been disappointment after disappointment. But let's hope for the breakout game this week for fantasy's sake and for just confidence in starting the guy. Rashad White is my running back of the week. Not because I believe so much in his rushing ability, but I believe more in his ability to get involved in the check down game. And I think he can PPR his way into a very serviceable week from a running back standpoint. Specifically too, if you're in a landscape where your running backs on a bye or you are just in the depths of despair. We know JCM is out on IR. Rashad White has seen 69% of the workload, 60% and then 69% these past two weeks. So he Drew: Nice. Amanda: is getting right. He is getting a bulk of the workload, which again is what you're looking for. When you're looking at what running back should I be starting, we're looking for an opportunity that allows him to get more work. But not only that with Rashad White, he does get involved in that short check down pass game as well, which again, if you're in a PPR league, that is more than you can ask for because you don't need a lot, you just need enough. Drew: Yep. All righty. Wide receiver of the week, Garrett Wilson. Big name, not big production so far this year. he did have a very good first three weeks, and then since then, four points, nineteen points, great, six points, three points. So awful the last two weeks. Target share is way down. He was yelling at his quarterback, Geno Amanda: Angry. Drew: Smith, on the sidelines last week. that's gonna go one of two ways. Either they're going to hyper target him. To keep him happy, or they're not gonna do that. They're barely gonna have him involved. They're gonna continue to throw the ball to Omar Cooper Jr. And then Garrett Wilson will request a trade after this week. Amanda: Hmm. Drew: he already came out and said, I don't want to request a trade. I don't have any intention on doing that. I guarantee if he has another three target week like last week, he will tell them, get me the hell out of here. Amanda: Absolutely. Drew: so I think they're going to target him, play Las Vegas, 25th in strength of schedule. So great matchup. I just I think it's gonna be a big week this week. Again, Chase Brown, now's the opportunity that you might get Garrett Wilson at a discount. I will Amanda: Yes. Drew: throw the caveat in there that he's still on the Jets. They still barely run any plays a game, and he still has Geno Smith throwing him the football. So I don't expect him to be a top five wide receiver rest of season, but he could be, wide receiver eight to twelve the rest of the way. And if you're getting him at the value of a wide receiver. twenty. It it's a good opportunity to trade up. Amanda: Yeah, absolutely. Well, I'm gonna go and pull an U reverse and go with a rookie here. I'm going to say Antonio Williams of the Commanders, apparently. I'm just team commanders this week. however, we know Terry McLaurin's season ending injury creates opportunity. And Dan Quinn did specifically say that Williams would be getting more target share, that it the workload would not just be going to Stefan Diggs, which means they want to get the rookie involved. He specifically would not Drew: Well he specifically he specifically said that Stefan Diggs r his Amanda: Not yeah, would stay the same. Mm-hmm. S which is slot, right? Drew: role his role is not changing, meaning that Stephon Diggs is gonna play the Stephon Diggs role and Antonio which is more of a slot, yes, and then Antonio Williams will take over the Terry McLaurin role, which has value in this offense. Amanda: Yes. Yes. And again, like a Antonio Williams has shown that he can be a a solid wide receiver option. We know that Jaden Daniels is is a is a good quarterback. this offense should work for them. and this should work well for for the rookie as well. So if you were able to snag him off the waiver wire this week, as I was in several leagues, he's a plug and play for me this week. Yeah, I'm gonna hold my breath just a little bit, but the Eagles have been bad against the passing game as well. So making this choice feel even safer. So we're gonna we're gonna hang our hats on the rookie this week. I it's tape and glue time for me, so I love a good tape and glue moment in the season where I'm just holding on by a fing thread. Drew: All right. Tight end sweetheart of the week for me is going to be Hunter Henry. In case you guys haven't been paying attention, the dude is on a bit of a tear recently. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: double digit PPR in four straight. Eleven, thirteen, fourteen, fourteen over the last four weeks in PPR leagues, which means half's not too far behind. plays Miami at Miami, twenty-eighth and twenty-eighth in strength of schedule against the tight end position. So fantastic matchup. That four straight performances of double digit only includes two games with touchdowns. So the other two, he didn't have touchdowns and still hit double digits, which is all you can ask for from the tight end position from pretty much any tight end unless you've got one of the big two. five targets a game is the average over those four weeks as well. And five targets in that offense, that'll get it done. So I'm high Amanda: Yeah. Drew: on Heinter Henry. Amanda: Yeah. It I feel like it's been a sneaky thing where no one's paying attention to Hunter Henry. No one's giving him his flowers and he's been a very servable that we talk mid tier tight end, this was an undrafted tight end in most fantasy football Drew: This is like Amanda: drafts. Drew: it's it's starting to turn which Hunter Henry's done this in the past where he's Amanda: Yes. Drew: ha been had a lot of value. however, it's typically more sporadic and he ends up getting one or two weeks and then disappearing for a week or two. He hasn't been disappearing in the last four weeks, especially with their wide receiver issues, and I I think he's just become such an integral part to this team that it's gonna continue to be this the rest of the season. I see a Dallas Goddard from last year type season. Where he ends up just being there and being steady Eddie the entire season and all of a sudden you look at the end of the year and he's tight end four or five and he has helped people win leagues because you you've been able to fill this spot with value. Amanda: I agree. All right. Well, I'm gonna run it back on TJ Hawkinson and simple reason. Detroit has allowed 602 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns to tight ends this year so far. It's absolutely insane. They give up a lot to the tight end position. Drew: Ew. They hold on. They had a bye week too. Amanda: huh. Drew: One, two. So they've played six games and they're averaging a hundred yards a game and and a t and Amanda: Yep. Mm-hmm. A hundred yards a game to the tight end. Drew: and almost two touchdowns to the tight end position. my god. Amanda: To the tight end position. Yeah, eight tight ends have scored at least 13 PPR points against Detroit in just six fucking games. So it's Drew: Who's their backup tight end? Amanda: a great option for the week. Also, Kyler still looks like Kyler, right? He's struggling. And so that short check down stuff or just that short pass to and giving it off to the tight end position has been something we've seen him thrive with. And I don't see that going anywhere either. Drew: All right, Josh Oliver was their backup tight end. He Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: was put on IR Amanda: so who else they got? Drew: And I don't think he's coming I don't think he's coming back this week. So it looks like Ben Eurisek or Gavin Bartholomew. Fifty percent. I I'm I'm looking Amanda: good, I don't know who those men are. That sounds nice. Bartholomew sounds like a nice name. Drew: and twelve percent what ooh, that Bartholomew guy had six targets and five catches a couple weeks ago. But he only played Amanda: Ha ooh birthday. Drew: twelve percent snaps last week. Eurysic Amanda: Don't like that. Drew: fifty one percent, but he's doesn't seem to be a catching tight end. I'm just thinking what type of odds are Bartholomew touchdown score up plus ten thousand? That's a five dollar that's a five dollar bet waiting to happen right there. All right. remind me of this because I I legitimately am gonna put a five dollar bet on probably both of them to score a touchdown. Amanda: scoring a touchdown? probably insane. Yeah. those are my favorite kind. You're speaking my language. Yes, yes, yes. Bartholomew. Okay, cool. I like Drew: All right. Defense of the week for me is gonna be the Jacksonville Jaguars. They get to play Indianapolis at home. Danny Dimes is awful. He is turnover prone. They just lost their all pro guard, Quentin Nelson. So even less protection for him. Josh Downs doesn't want to be there anymore. He has requested a trade, not that they use him anyway. Amanda: They don't. Drew: yeah, it's I can't imagine with what's going on in Indy right now and the fire set and their fire salt Amanda: I am free Josh Downs. Team free Josh Downs. Drew: yeah, but their fire sale that's going on. I can't imagine this being a good game. on the road in division against a a really good Jacksonville team. I I see an implosion game happening from Indianapolis. So Amanda: I worry about Jacksonville's yeah, like how startable are are they gonna keep you know, are they gonna pull some of these guys out of the game it because it's just a blowout. Drew: I don't see that happening. That's not really a Lian Cohen thing Cohen thing. Amanda: Okay. Okay. Then I'm good then. We Gucci. Drew: also, like super blowouts that like are blowouts early and then like there's nothing at the end of the game. That's not super common in the NFL. Like freak things have to happen, like last week where Tampa Amanda: yeah. Drew: Bay just absolutely put belt to Bryce Young's ass. Amanda: That was rough. Drew: yeah, and that was weird. Like that was Amanda: Hmm. Drew: freak things that were happening. that doesn't typically happen. You're you're gonna get three quarters of production before starters go out. You might even see a beat if I was Jacksonville, I would get up and then I would showcase BTJ and throw him the ball eight times and then trade him for a higher value. Ex exactly. Mm-hmm. Amanda: here he is. Yeah, there we go, there we go. I like it. That's what I was w I wondered like would they do that with Josh Downs, like hey, can we get him involved as much as possible to show what and then get more out of him but Drew: No. maybe maybe, but yeah. They don't even have a G v yeah, they don't Amanda: The it's not a like I I rolled it. I almost put him as my wide receiver and I was like, Amanda, don't clench your butt shakes that hard Drew: they don't even have a GM right now, 'cause they fired and then they Amanda: so no. Drew: got like not as much value as I thought they should have from DeForce Buckner and Quentin Nelson when they traded him. So I don't know. We'll see what happens with the J T as well. Amanda: All right, well, I'll roll through my defense here. I have the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. obviously I'm not gonna bet it on just because they did great in week seven, right? Yes, they had a great week seven. Do I expect that production in week eight? Not nearly as amazing. However, they have had 12 turnovers and 16 sacks through seven games, which is a stat I am willing to hang my hat on. Not their 25 point defensive scoring week last week. But the consistency of what they've been doing, even against good offenses. Yes, Atlanta has good good weapons. However, it's still Michael Penix. So a turnover, some pressure on the quarterback, that he's not good under that. So this is a good likelihood and a good bet for week number eight. Drew: Yeah, Panix is also turnover prone. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: and when you're when you're looking at defenses, you want sacks because that's a guaranteed point, and then turnover potential. Not you don't look at the touchdowns they score 'cause that's just sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't. Amanda: No, that's Rogue. Drew: But yeah, I I love Tampa Bay's defense this week as well. Amanda: All right, well those are our Sunday sweethearts for week number eight. Now let's roll right in to some injury notes ahead of the week. Drew: Yeah, it's a pretty long list, so I'm gonna briefly go over some of it 'cause also as the season goes on, there's a hell there's a lot of limited and maybe and maybe not. And look, it's Thursday. Things will change by Sunday, so make sure you're paying attention. Amanda: We know this tune by now. We don't freak out at the random questionable pop-ups. Drew: Yes. Amanda: We let it play out. Drew: So Philadelphia backfield, you've got Damian Pierce went to IR, so he's gone. So now you've got Saquon Barkley who may or may not play. Is he hurt? Is he not? And then Elijah Mitchell would be the other running back there. So pay attention to what's going on with Saquon. Amanda: What happened with their running back room just got demolished. Drew: Yeah, because Tank Bigsby went to IR. Will Shipley went to IR. Damian Pierce Amanda: Damien Barry. Drew: went to IR. Saquon Barkley could have gone to IR. it's it's incredible. anyway, Jameer Gibbs, shoulder injury, DNP on Wednesday, so monitor that going into the weekend. Aaron Jones re aggravated as MCL. I the test came back more positive than negative. So he's actually day to day. There's a chance that he plays. I would still not be playing him and just be playing Mason. the Jets backfield a lot up in the air. Brees Hall should come back this week. Braylon Allen, they're lit he was limited this week. They're monitoring and managing an ankle injury. So keep an eye on that. Another backfield that has multiple injuries, the Arizona Cardinals. Tyler Algier was a D N P on Wednesday. And Jeremiah Love is still limited with the ankle. So we'll see what happens there. Lamar Jackson, I cannot imagine that he does not play this week. So he should be in. Everything has sounded much better than it has in weeks prior. Amanda: He had a full practice on Wednesday too, I think. Drew: full participant would say yes. for the wide receiver position, Matthew Golden, who plays tonight, is questionable with a shoulder and a foot injury. So Amanda: At least he plays on Thursday, honestly. at least it's not some like Monday night football. Drew: Yeah. Yeah, that helps. they are going to decide pre game, so you probably will not know until five, six o'clock Eastern time. Amanda: If you've got we've got trick or treat tonight, beggar's night tonight. So if you also are busy with the kids, please, please, please, please, please put a reminder on your phone. That way you Drew: Yep. Amanda: don't accidentally miss them ruling him out. Drew: Yep. Rashi Rice, hamstring, return to practice Wednesday. He is trending towards a return finally. Ameka Gbuka, concussion foot, limited. He still needs clearance from everything to play. Jalen Waddle, chest injury la in week seven is questionable. Amon Raw, DNP Wednesday with a shoulder injury. He I cannot imagine that he doesn't play. Amanda: He's a pretty hard dude. Drew: Carnell Tate. DNP Wednesday also with a shoulder injury. Monitor that. DJ Moore, still limited Wednesday. If he doesn't play this week, then he should have gone to IR. So either either either Amanda: I that's what's baffling my brain. Why wouldn't they have just put this man on IR? Drew: his body has not recovered as quickly, which he is an older player, and he he's not recovering as quick as they thought he would, or he's gonna play this week. Jalen Knowle went to IR for the Texans. We talked about that, so kind of Hopefully helps get less receivers on the field. and then Tyler Warren still limited Wednesday with a groin injury, so keep an eye on that. Amanda: All right. Well, that is our interior reports before ahead of week number eight. Let's get into our matchups. Our bye weeks this week. We have the Texans, the Saints, the Giants, and the 49ers. So make sure you check your lineup there first. And we're gonna start with a Thursday night game. We have the Carolina Panthers at the Green Bay Packers. They have Green Bay favored at three and a half and the over underset at forty seven point five. We'll dive into the Panthers first. We're watching an implosion of Bryce Young last week. It was Booty hole bad. Do you even like him as a startable option this week? So Kyler, Jacoby, Sam Darnold, if you are if your quarterback's on by, if you are dealing with injuries, are you going to that rabbit hole? Drew: I like Jacoby against Dallas. Did you say Sam Darnold? No, I don't like Sam Darnold. I think he could throw for a bunch of yards, but until he stops turn Amanda: Yeah. Me either. I don't yes, I don't trust it. Drew: until he stops turning the ball over, he could have two hundred and sixty yards and two touchdowns, but if he throws two picks, it's like what mid teens. Amanda: Yeah, yeah. Drew: I would probably go Kyler against Detroit as well. I don't like Kyler as a quarterback, but he's been r running the ball enough. Amanda: How about Yeah. What about Jared Goff versus Bryce Young? Drew: That's a terrible matchup. Amanda: It's a bad matchup for Goff. I I looked at that and I was like, well shit. I you know, you almost want to lean a little bit Bryce Young, but damn. Drew: I would Amanda: Do you bet on the talent of Detroit? Drew: I'd play okay, let me put a caveat in here. I play Amanda: Yeah. Drew: I'd play Bryce Young if Micah Parsons does not return tonight. If Micah Parsons Amanda: Okay. Drew: returns tonight, I there's no chance in the world I play Bryce Young. Amanda: Okay. Okay. Chuba Hubbard, Tet McMillan, Jalen Coker, I I think they're all locked and loaded into your lineup. Drew: Yeah, don't worry about the Jalen Coker last week. Just throw that entire Tampa Bay game out of the window. It was it was weird. Amanda: No. Yes, that was that was bad. Mm-hmm. Drew: but yeah, you start all three of those guys and you move on from that team. Amanda: Correct. All right, let's move into Green Bay. Jordan Love is still a fine streaming quarterback option if you need him there. Streaming him above ahead of Bryce Young is something I would consider myself. Drew: absolutely, yes. Amanda: Josh Jacobs, yes, you can start him comfortably. Drew: Yep. Amanda: Christian Watson, Matthew Golden if he plays, obviously in Tucker Kraft, lock and load. Drew: Yep, I like all of those. I know it's not a good matchup for the receivers and they were both a little disappointing last week. You just can't sit Amanda: I'm not worried. Drew: guys of that caliber that have been doing what they've been doing this year. Amanda: No. Any defense here. Green Bay Packers, if Micah Parsons plays. Drew: If Micah Parsons is is back, then yes. If not, then I no, I don't think so. Amanda: Okay. all right. We next up we have we don't have a international game this week, right? Drew: We do not. We have a week off and then next week I think it's Amanda: Brazil? Drew: we have no we've got no Brazil's already happened. We have Germany, Amanda: Yeah. Drew: Spain, and Mexico City left. Amanda: Okay. I think it's Mexico City next. You're right. I'm wrong. Drew: No, Mexico City's the last week or the last one, I think. Yeah. Amanda: All right. Baltimore Ravens at the Buffalo Bills. They have Buffalo Favorite at three and a half and the overunder set at 53.5. I love these. it is. There's a lot there's some good games. Yeah. Drew: Yeah, th I'm excited for this one. Honestly, the th the Thursday night game is good. This game's good. Monday night game's gonna be great. Yeah. Amanda: all right. So Lamar, as long as he plays Apsa Freaking Lutley. Derrick Henry, Zay Flowers. Yes, yes, yes. Give me Drew: Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Amanda: like Flex options for Jacoby Lane. Is that a flex option or only if you're desperate? Drew: I think so, yes. Amanda: Okay. Drew: No, I think Jacoby Lane is a flex option this week. Now I I get it. He hasn't been super productive. He was hurt a lot of the year. I would play excuse me. I would Amanda: Like Antonio Williams, Jacoby Lane. Drew: That is so I picked up both in a lot of leagues. Both have great matchups. I am between both. I I think that I currently have Antonio Williams in my lineup because Amanda: That's who I would play. Drew: I think they have to throw the ball more. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: I'm not sure that's the right decision, though, because Washington also has more receivers. Amanda: I know. Drew: I they're both decent options, but like I'm playing both of them over Chris Godwin. Demario Douglas, Khalil Shakir, Jalen Waddle, Xavier Worthy, Josh Downs, Jacoby Myers. I'm playing both of them over all of those players. So there's a good chance that they should be in your lineup this week, especially if you're in a twelve or fourteen or whatever team league. When you get down to eight or ten, eight, you probably shouldn't be playing them anyway. But Amanda: No. Drew: ten team based on injuries and bye weeks, maybe, but Amanda: Right. And Mark Andrews full sit. Drew: Yeah, I don't think that you need to go down that rabbit hole. Amanda: Rock on. Josh Allen. James Cook for sure. if he plays. Yep. Drew: Yep. DJ mo DJ more if he plays. Mm-hmm. Amanda: Do you go Kian Coleman if DJ Moore sits? Okay. Dalton Kincaid. Drew: I I don't trust it. He he Dalton Kincaid, yes. Amanda: The Kincaid of it all. Drew: Yes, the Kincaid of it all. You play Dalton Kincaid. The reason I don't play Keon Coleman is because a couple weeks ago he was supposed to be in a good matchup, no DJ Moore, and you got what full did you get full goosed or almost fully goosed? Like Yeah, I just Amanda: No, no. Almost full. I played against him and I was blessed. Remember I I had to have Kim Coleman score nothing and he did. Drew: Yeah, I need to see consistency from him before Amanda: Correct. Drew: I'm willing to ever play him. Amanda: Do you think can Kate ahead of Chica Conquell, Bretton Strange, Kyle Pitts? Drew: Dalton Kincaid over Chig, yes. Bretton Strange, yes. And what was the other one? Amanda: Kyle Pitts, Tampa Bay. Drew: Yes. Yes. But I would like Amanda: Okay. All right. Just wanted to dig. Drew: I would like Kyle Pitts to be in my lineup, so I Amanda: Hm. Sorry. Drew: would flex I'd play both if I had him. Amanda: Okay. You would play Kyle Pitts ahead of you mentioned Josh Downs ahead of okay. Jalen Waddle. Mm. Okay. Neither defense. Drew: yeah. yeah. Yes. Yeah. I wouldn't have Jalen Waddle on my team, so Amanda: Unfortunately, I hope they just rule him out so I don't have to make that decision anymore. I don't want either defense. No Drew: No d no defenses, no. Amanda: defenses. Cool. All right. Tennessee at the Cincinnati Bengals. They have Cincinnati favorite at ten Drew: This will be easy. Yeah. Amanda: and the overunder at forty six and a half. You can go ahead and do the Titans. I refuse to speak about them. Go ahead. Drew: yeah, you can play Tony Pollard even though it's a bad matchup. that Amanda: Ew. I played the fifth. I put I played the fifth in my notes. Drew: that being said, don't force Tony Pollard in your lineup and chase the points. I would expect Amanda: Don't ride the high. Drew: no, I would expect this to revert back to like a eight to twelve point game. maybe he might score a couple more times, but don't force him in your lineup, but I think he is probably right around that running back twenty this week. We also have with the bye weeks like CMC's out and you got some guys that aren't playing this week that you probably need some fill in for. Amanda: Mm. Drew: and that is probably all. You if Carnell Tate plays and is fully healthy, I think you can play him this week. Amanda: Would you play Omar Cooper or Casey Concepcion ahead of Carnel Tate if he plays? Drew: Omar Cooper, who do the Jets play? Las Vegas. let me see you said Carnell Tate, right? That's who we're talking about. Amanda: Yeah. Yeah. Drew: I ooh. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: I play Omar Cooper Junior over Carnell Tate and that's probably until I see anything differently. Amanda: Consistency. Yeah. Drew: I play Carnel Tate over KC Conception. Yeah. Amanda: Okay. all right. And the Bengals are super duper easy. You're just starting all of your good guys. So you're starting or all of the guys. You're starting Joe Burrow, Chase Brown, Jamar Chase, T. Higgins. I don't think you need to go down the Micosicki rabbit hole, but Drew: Correct. Amanda: Okay, cool, done. I think the Bengals defense is startable. Drew: yes, I do believe that the Bengals defense is also startable. Amanda: right, next up we have the Arizona Cardinals at the Dallas Cowboys. They have Dallas favored at six and the over-underset at fifty-four and a half. So this is a high line. Mm-hmm. Drew: Coo. Amanda: Which is nice. So we said Jacoby Brissett is a streaming option. He's not gonna start over your top dudes, but if you're in a Kylie Kyler Murray, Sam Darnold, Jared Goff on a bad matchup week, Jacoby Brissett's a great option. if a Matt a Matty Stafford against the Chads, Drew: Yep. Yep. a Matt a Matt Stafford. Yeah, if you have Matt Stafford, Amanda: yeah. Drew: then I would play Jacoby Brissett. Amanda: Okay. and then we have the running back room, which is banged up. So like if Jeremiah Love plays, I I play him. if it's Drew: Here's Amanda: just bam night, I I if it's just a bam night alone, I'll play bam night. Drew: Here's my rule of thumb. I need there to be two, not three, healthy players. If there are three healthy players, if Love, Algier, and Knight are all active, I don't play any of them, including Love. I just don't play any of them. It's a great matchup, but with all of the injuries, no one's gonna get enough of the work, and I don't want to guess which one's gonna get the touchdown. If only two of them are active, here's where I go. If Algier is out and it's love and bam night. I'm playing Jer I'm playing Jeremiah Love and I'm not playing Bam Knight. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: If it's Algiers and Bam night, I'm playing Bam Knight and not Algier. Amanda: Not Algier agreed. Drew: And if it's love and night, I'm pla or if it's love and Algier, I'm playing Love. Essentially I need there to be two of the three and I'm not playing Algier if he's one of the two. I'll play the other ones. So that's where I go. Amanda: Awesome. Michael Wilson limited on Wednesday, but if he's plays I start him and Drew: Yeah, I have to. He's been bad though. Amanda: I know. How do you feel about Kendrick Bourne? Drew: What did he do? He's also been bad. Amanda: He's been bad. The Born Chronicles. Drew: yeah, it's just been really, really ugly. Amanda: Yeah, the only person you've been able to fully trust is Trey McBride. Drew: They're yeah, they're not it's a great matchup, but they're not super high on my list. Amanda: Okay. tell me like Jacoby Lane, Pop Douglas, Floy ahead of Kendrick Bourne. Okay. Okay. Drew: Not pop Douglas, he's out for me. I would play Wilson over Flinoy. I would not play Kendrick Bourne over Flinoy. And then who was your other one? Amanda: Okay. Jacoby Lane. Drew: No. I play well, I play Michael Wilson over Lane, but I play Lane over Bourne. Bourne probably won't be in my lineup no matter what. Amanda: No, I'm not gonna force him there. Okay. Dallas Cowboys, Dak Prescott, Javante Williams, CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, the big four. I like it. Okay. Drew: The the big four. Yeah, it's the it's the big four with a you can play flanoy if you've got injury or by week, if you if you need somebody to flex Amanda: Flex ahead of a Godwin, he's getting way more work consistently than someone in that tier. Drew: Yeah, I would play him over Godwin just for the fact that Baker's thumb worries me. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: but I'm not again not forcing Flonoy my lineup. Amanda: Okay. And need their defense. Okay. Minnesota Vikings at the Detroit Lions. They have Detroit favored by three and the over under set at forty six and a half. And that's simply because the Minnesota Vikings defense is really good and that's it. Drew: I don't understand how d Detroit's at home, but a three point line is pretty high. Amanda: It's yeah, I it's I don't know. Drew: That's really high. Amanda: Yeah. so it's one of those goofy matchups where it's a good matchup for the Minnesota Vikings 'cause the Detroit Lions defense sucks. It's a bad matchup for Detroit because the Minnesota Vikings defense is good, good. So Drew: Yeah. Amanda: we'll start with the Vikings. I think, you know, if you're desperate for a quarterback, you could go down the Kyler Murray rabbit hole, but like Drew: Kyler or Matt Stafford? Amanda: Ew, I'd probably go with Kyler Murray. Drew: Jordan Love. Amanda: Jordan Lough. Drew: Mm. Caleb Williams against Seattle or Kyler. Amanda: Caleb Williams. Okay. Jordan Mason. Drew: What they just did to Patty. Amanda: I know. Jordan Mason is a full start for me. Aaron Jones, I would try to sit him if I can. Okay. Okay. Drew: That's a f that's a full sit no matter what in my opinion. Just with the injury. If he plays, I don't really want a piece of him. Amanda: Okay. Justin Jefferson, yeah, you're starting him. you know what? I I'm not starting Jordan Addison until I see Jordan Addison become a valuable start option. He has done nothing except the one game where Jefferson got hurt in the middle of the game. And he's never has he done anything with Kyler Murray or has he only done things with Carson Wentz? Was that when Drew: Correct. Amanda: J Yeah. So like I just I haven't been able to see it. I I I I'm too scared to drop the motherfucker because I hope that maybe he actually becomes a wide receiver too. Drew: He has a it's Amanda: But Drew: not his fault, he has a Kyler problem. JJ's not been very good either. Amanda: He has a cutler. I know it. And TJ Hawkinson is obviously Sunny Sweetheart. Start him up, baby. Detroit. Drew: Jameer Gibbs if he plays, which I I sh I I would imagine he does, and then you're playing both receivers, Alman Raw and Jameson Williams, and Sam Laporta Amanda: I would start somebody over him. Drew: Yeah, I probably would too. Yep. Yep. Amanda: Yeah, I would not put him in my lineup. I know you spent a lot of draft capital on him. Go get a Chica Conquo. I would play him before I played Sam Laporta. Drew: Yeah, I think you're the I think you're I think you're the big three. You're you're Gibbs, Brown and Williams and move on. Amanda: Mm. Yeah. And then the Minnesota Vikings defense. Do you like Drew: I think there are better options than both defenses. However, both can be played because one you play against Kyler and the other one, the Vikings, like don't drop the Vikings to go pick up somebody else. Just Amanda: Mm mm. Drew: roll with them, or you bench them and then pick somebody else up. we have them right on that like 12 13 range for defensive rankings this week. so they are playable. 'Cause they're so good, but just don't drop them to go pick somebody else up unless you desperately have to because you're gonna lose, but I would Amanda: It no, I would just roll with them if I Drew: too. Amanda: yeah, I would just hold my breath. all right, Indianapolis Colts at the Jacksonville Jaguars. They have Jacksonville Flavored at seven and a half and the over under set at forty six point five. So Josh Allen or Josh Jonathan Taylor. No, I called Jonathan Taylor Josh Allen. Drew: Josh Allen you Daniel Jones, did you just accidentally call Daniel Jones Josh Allen? Okay. Amanda: Jonathan Taylor. well, you're not starting Daniel Jones under any circumstances. Drew: No, he shouldn't be on a roster. Amanda: Jonathan Taylor, you have to start him, so Drew: Yeah, Jonathan Taylor Thomas should be in. However, I wouldn't be surprised if McGowan got a little bit more work this week because Amanda: If you see more Seth McAwen. Agreed. If they plan on trading Josh Good Lord. Jonathan Taylor. Josh Taylor. Drew: If they plan on trading Jonathan Taylor Thomas, then I would imagine this is not a showcase because you don't need to showcase JT. You need to make sure he stays healthy. So Amanda: No. Yeah. Drew: one other thing to look at in this is if JT goes out there and gets 30 carries, they're probably not going to trade him unless they get some massive offer. If Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: he goes out there and he gets like 10 or 12 touches, that might be a precursor to a trade. Amanda: Hi Jonathan. what do you be feel the wide receiver room? Is anyone startable here? Okay, that's what I thought. Mr Drew: Keenan Allen. Yep. Amanda: Old Keenan Allen and Tyler Warren, if he plays, you play him. Drew: Yeah, I don't I don't know if he's gonna play. I think he'll be out again. At this point, why f why rush him back? He's a Amanda: I don't think he will. Sucks really bad. Yes. Drew: future piece of your team. Just keep him healthy. Amanda: Yeah. For Jacksonville, again, our big names here. T Law is a start. Byshal Tutin is a start. Drew: Choo choo. Amanda: Toot toot toot it up. Parker Washington, obviously. I mean I think Jacoby Myers is i he's there. He's a fli I'd play him over Josh Downs. I'd play him over Jordan Addison, but that's Drew: Yeah. Yep. Amanda: probably as far as I'm gonna go. Kendrick Bourne, maybe? Drew: Yep. Somewhere in that range. I'd play I'd play Kendrick Bourne over Jacoby Myers. Just because Amanda: Okay. The matchup's good. Drew: that and I have a feeling that Jacksonville will be able to score enough to not have to throw the ball to and I think they'll spread it around a little bit. This could be a we're up by enough, let's manufacture a touch for Travis Hunter and kind of keep him happy. And again, maybe if we're up by fourteen, seventeen, let's showcase Brian Thomas Jr. Amanda: Drew really thinks that they're gonna try to just put Brian Thomas Jr. on a pedestal and show him off. That way then they can use that for a valuable trade offer, which is not a bad idea. I I've held Bryant Thomas and Drew: You have to show that he can still do stuff. Amanda: hopes that they trade him and he becomes super valuable and helps me. Honestly, Drew: Please, Kansas City, go get him. Amanda: I hate the Kansas City Chiefs, vehemently hate them, but yeah, I agree. Please, because I need this player to be relevant again. all right. Drew: Please go get him. Yeah. I I don't to be fair, I don't think he'll be more relevant than Taekwond Thornton. I think he will be exactly what Taekwon Thornton was, which is a massive boomer bust. Amanda: That's all but at least you could have after that game where he broke his ankle, you could you in a world you could have Fuck it, I'll throw him in. Drew: You know what would have happened? You would have started him and then Ma Marquez Valdez Scantling, he would have goosed you the next week and then you wouldn't have played him. And then two weeks later he scores two touchdowns. Yeah. Honestly, it it just Amanda: Thirty points or something. Bretton Strange started Drew: helps my Kenneth Walker. That's what I want him to go there for. Amanda: yes, yes. I get you. I get you. I get you. Bretton Strange is a startable, streamable tight end if you need someone there too. I think there's multiple streamable options, but he's on the list. and the the Jags defense, Drew's sweetheart of the week. It's a great option. yeah, baby. yeah. yeah. Drew: yeah. yeah. yeah. yeah. Amanda: All right. Las Vegas Raiders at the New York Jets. They have Vegas favored by one and a half and the over-underset at forty-five point five. N not interested in Kirk Cousins. Ashton Genty, yes. Drew: Yep. Amanda: I still am gonna full bet on Trey Tucker. I think he's a startup bull piece, so Drew can disagree. Drew: Yeah, I think at this point he's no, I think at this point he's a f startable flex option. Amanda: Until they were to maybe bench Kirk Cousins and f if Mendoza could not hang in the passing game, but we've talked about that. It's it's a bad stretch to throw into the weeds. Drew: That and and Jack Besh will be coming back here soon, so I think that you know, it's not a superstar, but it is a young talent they want to see what they have in, so Amanda: Yeah. and I would go Trey Tucker ahead of we we mentioned some guys like, you know, Floinoy and Downs Drew: All of the guys that we've talked about. Yeah. Amanda: and all those dudes. Absolutely. Brock Bowers, duh. And that that's that there. the New York Jets, I'm not streaming Geno Smith. I love Kyler Murray, Jacoby. No. Okay. Drew: No, I I I think you're Garrett yeah, he shouldn't be in lineups this week. Garrett Wilson, Omar Cooper Jr. should be in lineups. And the only other people that I'll look at in this game is the running back position. If one Amanda: Yeah. Drew: of them is by themselves, you play that person, whether it's Allen or Hall. If they're both active, I think they both can be started, however temper your expectations, because I believe if they're both active, they're gonna split fifty fifty. It's just such a good matchup that I think both could be usable. I just don't see a twenty plus point game from either one of them. I see like a one of them gets a you know, if one of them gets a touchdown, they'll be at fourteen points and then the other one will be at eight without a touchdown. Amanda: So Brees Hall, let's say he comes back and Braylon Allen, they're both playing, Brees Hall or J. K. Dobbins. Drew: JK's a full set. Amanda: Okay. Brees Hall, Blake Horam. Drew: Brees Hall. Yeah. No, if Bree if Breesha Amanda: Okay. I'm just asking because I know I this was a big roster review. Drew: if Brees Hall is back and not limited, I think he is in most lineups that have him. The only way he isn't is if you have a stacked running back room. Yep. Amanda: Okay, like a Brees Hall, Jordan Mason. Detroit. Drew: Jordan Mason without Aaron Jones, I would play Jordan Mason. Amanda: What if you have Bruce Hall, Braylon Allen, Jared Mason, and Aaron Jones and they're all active? Drew: Then I play Brees Hall. Jordan Jordan Mason. Amanda: Okay. I that was the most popular question I got in the Patreon last week and then obviously Brees Hall got ruled out, so it made the decision really fucking easy. But I know a lot of a lot of people are rostered have him rostered and then had to pick up a a good running back at some point and now it's weird. Drew: Yeah, it just depends on it depends on if they have other injuries or bye weeks as well. CMC's out this week. Amanda: Yeah. Okay. Sure, sure, sure. Drew: who else is Texans, so no Woody Marks, Saints, no Camara, Giants, no anybody left. Everybody's hurt. All right. and then no defense from either. Amanda: Day done. that's it. Yeah. No. Okay. Cleveland Browns at the Pittsburgh Steelers. We're back, baby. Another matchup Drew: Yes, we are. Amanda: here. They have Pittsburgh favorite at say it with me, Drew. How much do they have Pittsburgh? Three and half. Three and a half. Drew: Three and a th three and a half. I I think it's a little I was surprised that the line was three and a half. It's in Pittsburgh, so I I I think Pittsburgh wins this game. I it's very in the AFC North Amanda: Felt good. Drew: in the in the AFC North, home teams win a lot. They do everywhere, but like AFC North football's a particular brand of football, especially when they play each other. It's wild that like when they play each other you typically get like a lot less offense. It's it's weird the way it's worked. Amanda: Games. Drew: I was just surprised that the line was three and a half. I would have expected it to be more one and a half to two and a half. Amanda: Okay. Over under is thirty nine point five. We talked, he just mentioned that. they do tend to be slightly lower point scoring games, unfortunately. all right. Deshaun, no, Quinchon Studkins is startable. It's just a bad matchup for him. Drew: Yeah, it's not a good matchup, but you you gotta play him the way he's been playing. Amanda: Any wide receivers from the Pitts or from the Cleveland Browns? Drew: I think you can play Conception and you can play Boston as Flex plays, but I'm not forcing them in my lineup. Amanda: Yeah, I I've gotten Boston enough with my bets. I'm out on him now. Harold Fannon Jr., yes. Bad matchup. I know. It's a Drew: I'm a no. I'm a no. Amanda: I would you go Dalton Schultz? Harold Fanner Jr. Drew: Dalton Schultz is on a buy, so I play Harold Fannon Junior. Amanda: shit, sorry. How about pits? Drew: Pets. Amanda: Bretton Strange. Drew: Chickaconqu Chickaconquo versus Philly, Bretton Strange, I play him, Hunt Hunter Henry, T J Hawkinson, obviously. Amanda: Okay, TJ. All right. All right. Drew: Dallas Goddard. I I I'm a sit on fan in this week. Amanda: Okay. Pittsburgh Steelers. Aaron is a fool ass sit. You can go ahead and look at it. Drew: What did they hold on? Yeah. Amanda: Aaron sit, Jalen Warren. I I do feel confident throwing him in my lineup. It's a bad matchup technically, however, we did just see the Browns get polard, so Drew: I think Warren's a full start and I think Rico's a good flex option. Amanda: I agree. I agree. I think Rico's flex I also think that Rico's not highly rostered. So he might still be out there in free agency where if you need a pick up and play, mm-hmm. Drew: He should be on a roster. Amanda: I would if you can get him, I would. DK Metcalf and Jeremy Bernard are guys that I will throw in my lineup this week and that's where I end for the Steelers. I'm not gonna go down the tight end rabbit hole anymore. Drew: If if Darnell Washington, who was a DNP on Wednesday, Amanda: Okay. Drew: is out this weekend, I think Friarmouth is a good option. If it's all consolidated to one tight end, I'm interested. If it's not, I'm not. Amanda: 'Cause Drew never guesses it right, unfortunately. Drew: Fandon against Amanda: Fan in. Drew: Pittsburgh week four did have eleven point seven PPR points. However, it was five targets, three catches, twenty-seven yards, and a touchdown. If he does not s Amanda: So it's a touchdown. Drew: if he does not score that touchdown, even in PPR, it's five point seven points. So Amanda: You're depressed. Okay. Drew: that is why I don't play him. Amanda: Okay, I've just looking at and his targets haven't been that impressive either, right? yeah, okay. let's move on to defensive Pittsburgh Steelers. Drew: I whole defenses. Pittsburgh is a really good start. I also think Cleveland is a good start. Eleven points against Pittsburgh the last time they played, which is pretty solid for a defense. Aaron Rodgers does get sacked. so Amanda: Yeah it is. Yes he does. Healed. Drew: yes, I I think a turnover is possible. Sacks are possible. Also not a high flying offense. So, you know, that's good too. Amanda: Yeah. All right. Atlanta Falcons at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They have Tampa Bay favorite at two and a half and the over underset at forty eight point five. Michael Penix Jr. negative shouldn't be rostered. B. John Robinson, Drake London, yes, yes. And then Kyle Pitts. Drew: Cow pits. Yep. Amanda: Cool. moving on to Tampa Bay. Drew: Bucky. Amanda: Buki, yes, Bucy himself. If a Mekabuka plays, I'm playing him. And that's it. And and that's that. Yep. And Drew: that's the end of the list. And I'm not even positive I want to play Igbuka, to be honest with you. Amanda: Yeah, but I still think he has more upside than Drew: hundred percent has more upside. I'm just again a little worried about Baker's hand and and what happens there. But Amanda: for sure. we didn't see anything happen with it. What what did they what did Baker do passing wise last week? Nothing, right? he didn't really have to. Yeah, he had sixty four yards passing. Sixty four but they didn't have to do anything 'cause their defense rocked the world. Drew: What did Baker? He threw for sixty yards. Yeah. Again, it was a weird game, so I'm not yeah, I'm not looking at his eleven pass attempts like that's because of his hand. Amanda: Yeah, but Bucky had a hundred and six yards on the ground too. So like they can go to the run game. Drew: Correct. Yeah, but the the game was just it was a lot of short fields and they didn't it was just a very weird game. So I'm not looking at that game for absolutely anything prescriptive. It's Amanda: Okay. All right. Drew: just it's Baker's throwing hand on his thumb. Like I'm just worried that that e causes him to be a little less accurate and him and Igbuka already have an issue with connecting. So I I I'm out on Agbuka this week, but I I can see why people would play him because he does have a high upside. Amanda: Okay. And obviously Tampa Bay Buccaneer defense is good to go. the Chargers at the Rams, Rams favorite at six and a half, over underset at forty four Drew: Not enough. Amanda: and a half, and Chargers coming off their bi week and are are they the only non winnable team? Drew: Non winnable? Winless team? Yes. Yeah. Winless team? Yes. I man, I can see the Chargers winning this game. Amanda: Yeah, when I said it, I knew it was wrong and I just committed. It was full commit. they're the only non-winnable team at this point. That's why I you said earlier and I was like, yeah, do they like come out and like everyone just got fucking just screamed at for seven days? okay, so are you starting anyone on the Chargers? Drew: No, I just you have two weeks to prepare against a team. It matters. Absolutely not. Amanda: Cool, me either. And moving on to the Rams. yeah, to Kyrad Williams, to Puka Nakua. Duh. Drew: Yep. Yep. Amanda: And that's it. Drew: Blake Coram can be played. Yep. Yep. He g he probably Amanda: play corum. Yeah, I forgot about that. Yeah. Yeah, you can go get quorum'd. Drew: yeah, he's a f flex with benefits that this is a decent matchup. So Amanda: I like that. Drew: you could probably you could probably take that this week. and then I'm probably out on everything else except for the Rams defense because Amanda: Yeah, I was gonna say. Drew: Justin Herbert has been a turnover machine. The Rams defense Amanda: Yeah. Drew: has been terrible this year, so just be aware. This Amanda: When is Garrett Wilson supposed to come back? Drew: Miles Garrett Garrett Wilson. Amanda: Shit, what did I say? Garrett Wilson. Drew: I don't know. Couple more weeks. There's no it it I the reason I say I don't know No Amanda: okay. I thought there was a timetable. Drew: no the reason I say I don't know is because they don't know. it's very, very murky and up in the air. Yep. Amanda: Okay. all right. Kansas City Chiefs at the Denver Broncos, Kansas City favored at one and a half and the over under set at forty one point five. I'm not starting Patty this week just 'cause there's no passing options. Kenneth Walker, yes. I Drew: Yes. Amanda: really don't want any of the wide receiver room unless for some reason Rasheed Rice is back, but Drew: No. It's no, it's k Rasheed Rice I think will be back, but I'm not playing him until I see how the offense like how he works back into the offense. I am Kenneth Walker Amanda: Would you start Antonio Williams over Russie Rice then? Because I wouldn't. I don't have the balls. The kahunas are not there for me. Omar Cooper Junior? 'Cause you're saying you okay? All Drew: No No No I wouldn't Yes Yes Amanda: right. Casey Conception? Drew: No, not that matchup. Who else do you have other than those same guys that you've mentioned? Amanda: I'm just throwing random guys Shut up. Jacoby Lane? Drew: You already mentioned him too. Pick somebody new. Amanda: Jalen Coker? Jalen Coker? Drew: I played Jalen Coker, yeah. Amanda: Keenan Allen? Drew: Yeah. They gotta throw Amanda: Vlad McConky? Drew: the ball somewhere. No, I don't play Ladd McConkey no matter what. Amanda: how about Travis Kelsey? Yeah, Drew: Yes. Yeah. Amanda: cool. all right, the Denver Broncos. Fuck you, Bonex. You I lost my bet because Bo Nick's threw for like 10 extra yards and he needed to. Fuck you, Bo Nicks. Jonah Coleman. Drew: This is really th th look, this this team's really easy. Amanda: Jordan Gobert. Drew: You can play Jonah Coleman and that is it. I don't want anybody else from Denver. Am I wrong? Amanda: no, and I fucking hate that they just threw Jonah Coleman back in and put him at the top of the running back list. fuck off everyone. Drew: I don't. They should. JK JK's done. He doesn't look good anymore. They clearly I I we Amanda: Check out. Drew: we talked in the offseason where we are not RJ Harvey fans from a on the ground standpoint. I w Amanda: we did say Jonah Coleman would be the dude. Drew: Y Yes. I at some point, yes, we thought he would take over and he has. He has also looked very good. RJ Harvey is a good receiving back. That is his role and that's what he should be. He's not a great running back. He's not great, he doesn't see holes really well. But he does catch the ball and he's got a lot of speed and juice. So he is a good change of pace, third down receiving back. That's all he should be. And JK looks like he's done. Amanda: And the receiving room sucks because Bonix sucks. Drew: Not a fucking chance I play one of those guys. No. Amanda: Okay, cool. Defense. Denver Broncos, Kansas City. Okay. I Drew: I think you can play both of Yeah. Amanda: do agree with you on that. I think they're both startable defenses this week. New England Patriots at the Miami Dolphins. New England is favored at seven and a half and the over under is set at forty four point five. Drake May, yes. Ramondre Stevenson, yes. I'm not starting Trevion Henderson under any circumstances. Drew: No. Amanda: The AJ Brown of it all. The AJ Brown of it Drew: I don't wanna talk about it. I don't wanna talk about it. I don't want to talk about it. Amanda: all. The AJ Brown of it all. Y I'm sorry. Go ahead. Go ahead. I'm ready. Drew: All right, I'm gonna ask you. Nope, I'm asking you. AJ Brown or Roma Dunze? Amanda: Who do they play? See God, AJ Brown. Drew: Okay, Roma Dunze or Keenan Allen. I'm sorry, AJ Brown or Keenan Allen. That's ridiculous. A AJ Brown Amanda: You said Roma Doon's sake. Wait, you mean AJ Brown? Keenan Allen. Gross. It's disgusting. Drew: or DK Metcalf? Amanda: DK. Drew: AJ Brown or Omar Cooper Jr. Amanda: AJ Brown. Drew: That's a weird list. Amanda: Uh-huh. I liked it. Drew: Denzel Boston. Ladd McConkie. Okay. Amanda: AJ Brown. AJ Brown. Drew: So he's in lineups. Okay. Yep. Same. Amanda: Mm. Yeah. I I'm starting him and I'm taking a shot on it. and I'm just praying that it was him getting warmed up. Drew: Unless there's a unless there's a new person that comes there, boy did he look slow. Hunter Henry, Amanda: You got it, baby. You got it, AJ. Yeah. Hunter Henry. Drew: love it. Amanda: Love it. the Miami Dolphins, Ollie Gordon. The sheer sheer workload. do I think you could go down Drew: Yep. That's that's all that I I I don't want to play one of their receivers. I don't want to play anybody else except for Ollie Gordon. Amanda: If you had to pick one of the receivers, Malik Washington, Caleb Douglas, who are you leaning on? Drew: Boom play Caleb Douglas. Amanda: Yeah, he's been touchdown dependent. Drew: Yeah, he had three catches last week and two of them went for touchdowns or three targets and two of them went for touchdowns. So you you can't that's why I'm saying, I wouldn't play any of them. If I needed some weird boom play, it's him. But also I don't know who Christian Gonzalez is gonna guard. And if Christian Gonzalez guards Caleb Douglas, I'm I you're yeah, you're screwed. So I don't wanna play any of them. Amanda: You're fucked. You fucked. Yeah. Okay. defensively, yes, New England. Okay. Next up, Philadelphia Eagles at the Washington Commanders. Sunday night game for the Eagles, of course. Well, when can they start flexing? Eagles and Dallas. Drew: New England defense. Yeah. For sure. my God. Another stupid primetime Eagles game. The fact that I'm not joking. If we look if we look back at at no, if we look back at the amount of primetime games we've had this year and the amount of NFC East involvement in those games, it has Amanda: and they suck. Drew: to be fifty percent or above. And that's the worst division in football. And I get they can't flex the games this early in the season. Stop putting the NFC East in every primetime game. I'm fucking sick of it. I don't want to watch Amanda: Yeah, I know. Drew: the Cowboys on primetime every week. I don't want to watch the Eagles every week. I don't want to watch the Giants. And I don't want to watch the Commanders every week. And they've been trash. Amanda: I don't. Drew: They've been try like three of these four teams have been trash for years. Amanda: Why wouldn't the Browns and Steelers be the prime time prime time game this week? Could you imagine? Drew: 'Cause it's the Browns and Steelers because first of all, they'd put the Steelers on it. They wouldn't put the Browns. Small market. Nobody everybody shits on Cleveland. No, they both these teams were supposed to be bad. So I get Amanda: I know. They just also never thought that they'd be where they're at right now either. Yeah. Drew: that why they're not, but or start being able to flex games earlier in the season, because I don't want to Amanda: Earlier, that's what I'm saying. Drew: watch this crap. Amanda: No, neither. and for did I say this Washington's favorite at four and a half, the over underset at forty point five. Yeah. So for the Eagles, I mean, if Saquon plays, you play him and you pray. No. Okay. Drew: Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. I do not. Unless unless he come unless they come out and he's they say he is a full go, but he Amanda: Fully healthy. Okay. Drew: missed a walkthrough yesterday. So I'm I'm Amanda: Yeah, I'm scared. Drew: I'm not playing Saquon Barkley under any circumstances. Amanda: Okay. Okay. How about wide receiver room? If Devontae Smith plays, you're playing Devontae Smith. What if Devontae Smith doesn't play as Makai Lemon a startable option then? Okay. Agreed. Drew: Yes. Yep. Amanda: If Devontae Smith plays, are you sitting Makai Lemon? Are you still okay with that? Considering the fact that there's no fucking run game anymore, so Drew: No, I think you can play I think you can play Makai Lemon in this matchup. I Amanda: I agree. Okay. Drew: think you can play Dallas Goddard in this matchup. Amanda: Absolutely. Drew: that's the end of the list for the Eagles. Amanda: Yeah, Commander Wise, Jaden Daniels, Rashad White, Stephon Diggs, Antonio Williams, and Chica Conquil. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Drew: Yes. Yes. Yes and yes. And yes. Yeah. I think that this is a good matchup. Philadelphia's defense has been bad. Amanda: Bad. Yeah. and the commander's defense. Mm-hmm. Drew: Yeah, absolutely. Against Tanner McKee. Yep. Amanda: Cool. Monday night game, we have Chicago Bears at the Seattle Seahawks. Drew: Thank God we got another good one. Amanda: They have Seattle favorite at three and a half and the over underset at forty six point five. Bad matchup for Caleb Williams. Drew: It is a terrible matchup for Caleb Williams. Would you play don't ask me, I'm gonna ask you, it's your turn. Amanda: I still think it's startable. Go ahead. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Drew: Ca Caleb Williams or Kyler Murray? Amanda: Yeah, I'd play Caleb Williams. Drew: Caleb Williams or Jared Goff? Amanda: Caleb Williams and I pray that I get some leg usage. Drew: You're I remember Jared Goff also plays Minnesota, so Jared Goff, I'm sorry, Caleb Amanda: Yeah, I know, and Jared Goff stands in the pocket, Caleb Williams moves around. Caleb. Drew: Williams or Matt Stafford. Amanda: Yeah, I'm gonna take the youth of Kayla Williams. Drew: Okay. That is a very age thing of you to say. Caleb Williams Amanda: Yes, it is. I'm old, that's fine. I can say it. Drew: or Jordan Love tonight. Amanda: I'd probably go Jordan Love. Drew: Okay. All right. Yeah, I think Caleb Williams is should be played. Amanda: So mostly Caleb Williams with a little situational. It's fine. DeAndre Swift, Luther Burden for sure, Drew: Yep. Amanda: Roma Dunze. It's a bad matchup. Drew: If yeah, I don't want to play Rome unless I have to because of injuries and bye weeks. Amanda: how about Mr. Loveland? I think you gotta start him. Drew: Hold on, ro Lovelin, yes. Broma Dunze or Jacoby Myers. Amanda: Roma Dunze or Jacoby Myers. Jacoby Myers. Drew: Antonio Williams in the same game. Amanda: Antonio Williams. Drew: Wait, not the same game. would you go down to Jacoby Lane? Amanda: Over Romadunze, I would. Yes. Drew: Yeah. I think I would too. Amanda: Mm-hmm. And I think Kali Frayman is fully droppable if we haven't talked about that. Unfortunately so. Drew: Yes, I believe yes, I do believe Khalith Raymond is fully droppable. All right. Last team here, Seattle. not interested in Sam Darnold. I wish Drew Locke was playing. Amanda: Me too. Drew: the wide receiver, JSN, obviously. And the only other option on Seattle other than JSN and their defense is the running back room. What do you do? Wilson came off of a huge game. People are gonna ask about that. But Shards is expected to be back. Amanda: Is he is he gonna play? If Sharps doesn't play, then I'm fine with committing to Wilson. I I think even if Sharps does play, you would fucking assume that they have to work him in and Wilson still keeps at least 60% of the work, 40% of the work, 50% of the 50% of the work? 50, 50, 20? That's not even that's over 100, Amanda. That's stupid. You're a fucking idiot. 50 Drew: What a I'm sorry, I was not listening. What are you mathing wrong? Amanda: That was just Amanda talking to herself. yeah, even if let's say Sharps plays, you don't think Wilson at least keeps like, I don't know, forty five percent of the work, fifty percent of the work? Okay, Drew: he would have fifty percent for sure. Amanda: so the first week back if Sharps plays, I think Wilson's fine. After that, I do not think it's okay anymore. Drew: Okay. I was looking up Charbonnet and the Seahawks what they were asked after Monday's game, what's the status on Amanda: Mm. It's gonna make me upset. Drew: Charbonnet? And Mike McDonald told reporters we are sticking with our plan. Amanda: That doesn't make any sense! Drew: Offering no update about week eight. Amanda: Sir, what does that fucking mean? I'm gonna start answering questions like that. What do you think I'm sticking with my plan? What plan? I don't know, I'm sticking with it though. They don't fucking have a plan. They're throwing spaghetti at the wall. Sticking with our plan. It's Drew: Yep, I'm sti we're sticking to the plan. Hey, is Sharps gonna play week eight? We're sticking to the plan. What's the plan? It's a good plan. It's the best plan. There's never been a plan this great in the history of the world. Sorry, had to For those that know, they know. What? Yeah, if you know, you know. Amanda: Anyways If if you know, you know. all right, defensively. Drew: Seattle Seahawks, absolutely. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: And I think Chicago can be played against Sam Darnold. I mean, yeah, I think that they absolutely can. They're not No No, they're not Dallas Amanda: I do too. Do you worry about getting they're not great. Is are they Dallas bad? Okay. Drew: bad. It's just the fact that if if you need a a boom, two touchdowns or two, you know, a potential for two interceptions, it's possible. Amanda: Anything is possible. Drew: They did just get Seattle did just get Quentin Nelson and he I would imagine is gonna play in this game, so that bolsters their offensive line as well. Amanda: Scary. All right. Well that's our eight week matchups, my friends. Let's get into our Drew: Eight week matchups. You did it again. Our week eight matchups. Amanda: That's our week eight matchups, my friends. Let's get into our for better or for worse, our weekly prop bet challenge. And go ahead. I am lay Drew: Alrighty. Amanda: sad. Drew: like she said, for better or worse, weekly prop bet challenge. Last week I had CJ Stroud over one and a half, got it. T Higgins over four and a half receptions, got it. And Jeremy Bernard, big poo-poo, didn't get it. So I went two and one. Amanda Bonicks on the under two hundred and twenty point five passing yards. How many passing yards did he have? Two hundred and twenty-two. So she missed it by a Amanda: Two hundred and twenty two. Two hundred and twenty two I hate you, Burnings! Drew: yard and a half. Amanda: You I looked, it was like the end of the fourth, and he had 174 or something, or or maybe a little bit more than that. And I was like, Mark's safe, mark safe by Bo Nicks. I'm good, I'm good, I'm good. And I checked after, because I I surely thought I already won it. I looked after and I was like, two fucking twenty-two. It's okay though. I bet on Tanner McKee right after that, and I needed two ten and a half, two ten point five, and I bet on the over and he got two eleven. Drew: Yeah. So Ollie Gordon did hit and Denzel Boston did not hit. So you went w you went one and two. Amanda: Yes. Yeah. I have got my DTM list is is getting long. It's getting long. Mm-hmm. Drew: So season long score is now twelve and ten for both of us. I have officially completed my comeback after my early season woes and am now tied. So I will take the honor this week of going Amanda: Uh-huh, go ahead. Drew: first. Josh Jacobs in tonight's Thursday night. Over eighty-two and a half rushing and receiving yards combined. I will also take Zay Flowers over eighty two and a half receiving yards against the Bills. And Chase Brown over fifty two and a half rushing yards. Putting my money where my mouth is, he's gonna he's gonna do it this week. Amanda: I love it. All right, cool. I have Derrick Henry over 81.5 rushing yards. Lamar is back, and that means we get a little bit better of a Derrick Henry version of himself. Chick Aconquell over 3.5 receptions. And Kyler Murray over 29 two 219.5. I can't talk. Over 219. Drew: Did you did you misspell the word Amanda: No, no. I full committed to over. Yeah. I said, you know what, Kyler Murray, put your prop bets on. I'm gonna put my prop bets on your back and let's fucking go for it. Let's do it. Yeah, it's scared. It actually made me quake in my boots slightly, but I don't care 'cause scared don't win, baby. Scared don't win. Watch Drew tell the future and that actually happened or some shit. Yeah. You know what I would like to say is that this entire week I watched the NFL and Dancing with the Stars have a crossover moment and I'd like to put it on record that I started that shit. That it was me and I started the crossover and not the viral audio of Connor Wood. I'm just I'm gonna say it. All right, moving on to our show wrap-up. that's all we got for you guys.
