There’s a story in the Gospel of John that’s always grabbed me. Jesus is teaching a huge crowd — thousands of people — and everyone’s hungry. The disciples are stressed, trying to figure out how to feed all these people because Jesus had just told them to feed them. And then this kid shows up. Just a kid. No title. No status. No seemingly no importance in the story, But he’s holding a small lunch.
