- 1:41from Morgan County Animal Shelter after his new owner saw
- 1:45his pitcher in the paper. Tyke was one of many
- 1:49dogs awaiting the home at the Morgan County Animal Shelter

- 2:34February six, we have some very happy news to share.
- 2:39Tyke affectionately known as Tickle, arrived at our shelter on
- 2:44February fourth, twenty twenty five. He was less than a
- 2:49year old at the time. We sent him to EKCC
- 2:53obedience training, fully believing he'd be scooped up quickly, but
- 2:58weeks turned into months. He became a staff favorite and
- 3:02no one could understand how such an incredible boy was
- 3:06still waiting. Last week, The Licking Valley Courier featured him
- 3:10as one of their own of their two adoptable dogs.
- 3:14When the call came from someone asking to meet him,
- 3:17they said, I have to have that dog in my life.
- 3:21We set up the meeting and we were thrilled to
- 3:23say it was a perfect match. As I opened his
- 3:26book to prepare the paperwork, I realized something incredible. It
- 3:31was one year to the day since Tyke first came
- 3:34to us, and the very day he was finally going
- 3:37home to his forever family. Thank you E. K. C. C.
