- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's best music is.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Now. Welcome to another episode of Scottie and Abby Unfiltered.
- 0:08Speaker 2: What a weekend?
- 0:10Speaker 1: What a weekend?
- 0:11Speaker 2: Is?
- 0:11Speaker 1: Right?
- 0:12Speaker 2: I actually I threw up this past weekend, Abby. I
- 0:16Speaker 2: went that hard.
- 0:17Speaker 1: You drank so much that you vombed, even I didn't vomb.
- 0:21Speaker 2: I know, I gotta tell you what actually went down
- 0:23Speaker 2: this past weekend, but.
- 0:24Speaker 1: I do too many beat buckses.
- 0:28Speaker 2: I felt like that little meme or what's that video
- 0:30Speaker 2: on Instagram? It's like, Mom, I flew up staying in your.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Girlfriend's doorway, being like, Hi, I flew up who I.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Couldn't even tell her because of what was happening. We'll
- 0:40Speaker 2: talk about that, but I do want to talk about,
- 0:42Speaker 2: obviously the wedding that you're at Abbey, because we talked
- 0:45Speaker 2: about it so much last week, because I do find
- 0:47Speaker 2: it fun. I don't have any I have. My cousin's
- 0:49Speaker 2: got married. My one cousin kind of a lope, so
- 0:51Speaker 2: I didn't get to even go to his wedding. I
- 0:53Speaker 2: got to go to my other cousins like second and
- 0:55Speaker 2: it wasn't their second wedding, but I'll call it their
- 0:57Speaker 2: second wedding because they had a pandemic wedding. Okay, so
- 0:59Speaker 2: it wasn't that full extent of going to your family's wedding.
- 1:02Speaker 2: So I do love the idea that you got to
- 1:05Speaker 2: celebrate with your whole family. But I also know that
- 1:08Speaker 2: there are lots of dynamics to balance in those rooms.
- 1:12Speaker 1: So many dynamics it's.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Crazy to think of. And I DJ wedding, so I
- 1:16Speaker 2: always see the background of it. Yeah, where it's like, oh,
- 1:19Speaker 2: I'll catch the conversations in the hallways. I'll have the
- 1:22Speaker 2: conversations with the bride beforehand, but just in general and
- 1:25Speaker 2: whatever you want to share with it, Like how was
- 1:27Speaker 2: the wedding? Because you left last week early, you got
- 1:30Speaker 2: what to Jackson like Thursday.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I got to. So the wedding was an Amelia Island.
- 1:35Speaker 1: So Amelia Island is about an hour north of Jacksonville.
- 1:39Speaker 1: It's sort of secluded, it's closer to the coast. It's
- 1:42Speaker 1: very like Marshi. It's kind of giving low country. And
- 1:45Speaker 1: we were staying at this hotel called the Omni Amelia Island,
- 1:48Speaker 1: and then the actual wedding was at the Amelia River Club,
- 1:51Speaker 1: like ten minutes down the road.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Very nice, I mean, your videos and pictures. They looked
- 1:55Speaker 2: absolutely gorgeous.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a pretty brand new it's a pretty new
- 2:00Speaker 1: wedding venue, so I think we got a pretty good
- 2:02Speaker 1: deal on it. But it's beautiful. I mean, just like
- 2:04Speaker 1: the view out onto the marsh. If you haven't seen
- 2:06Speaker 1: videos from my Instagram yet, it's basically like this big
- 2:09Speaker 1: white room, big white and long, long, and there's all
- 2:14Speaker 1: these windows that open up and to the marsh and
- 2:17Speaker 1: it has this gorgeous view of the trees and the grass.
- 2:20Speaker 1: And we got so lucky with all the weather for
- 2:23Speaker 1: the whole weekend, Like I was fully prepared for a
- 2:25Speaker 1: monsoon on any of the days because it's July and Florida.
- 2:28Speaker 1: We got there stunning wedding from start to finish, starting
- 2:31Speaker 1: stunning weather from start to finish. I got there, it
- 2:33Speaker 1: was sunny, it was beautiful, it didn't rain, and then the
- 2:37Speaker 1: whole theme was like blue and white and coastal and
- 2:39Speaker 1: there were high ranges and yeah, it was beautiful.
- 2:41Speaker 2: It looked awesome based off of just like the dancing.
- 2:44Speaker 2: I know, we talked a little bit about it, but
- 2:46Speaker 2: there was a live band at it, and what was like,
- 2:48Speaker 2: did you go hard like you thought you would? Go
- 2:51Speaker 2: hard at this wedding like you did in the past.
- 2:52Speaker 1: You know, I really didn't. I mean I was like
- 2:54Speaker 1: because I was the first one at the bar at
- 2:56Speaker 1: the wedding, because I didn't really go crazy hard on
- 2:59Speaker 1: night one, oh, like the rehearsal, which everybody else did,
- 3:03Speaker 1: which kind of gave me anxiety, Like if I ever
- 3:06Speaker 1: get married, I'm like, that's so annoying that the one
- 3:09Speaker 1: night that, like everybody's in the wedding, you can't really
- 3:11Speaker 1: go hard night one because you don't want to look
- 3:13Speaker 1: puffy and photos. You don't want to be hungover. We
- 3:15Speaker 1: had like a seven thirty call time for if you
- 3:17Speaker 1: were a bridesmaid. So I was at the rehearsal dinner
- 3:20Speaker 1: and a lot of my brother's friends were smacked. I mean,
- 3:24Speaker 1: they're such a good time, Like my brother has a
- 3:26Speaker 1: great group of friends. Like this isn't me yelling at
- 3:28Speaker 1: them for getting drunk, but it was such a tough
- 3:30Speaker 1: dynamic words like the night that I was ready to
- 3:32Speaker 1: go hard, everybody else was like exhausted from having gone.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Yeah, they're like tempering themselves, so like I don't know,
- 3:38Speaker 2: I can't do that because they went too hard. Yes,
- 3:41Speaker 2: damn that's tough because I could see that happening. I'm
- 3:44Speaker 2: trying to think of the last wedding I went to.
- 3:46Speaker 2: You get so excited being around your peeps again that
- 3:49Speaker 2: you just go all in, and then the wedding it's
- 3:52Speaker 2: so much and you put so much into it that
- 3:54Speaker 2: you're like, no, I would I want my friends to
- 3:56Speaker 2: be slashed at my wedding. Wedding like I want on
- 3:58Speaker 2: the dance floor, like I don't know, I want through
- 4:00Speaker 2: ridiculous stories like I do want you sick, not on
- 4:03Speaker 2: the floor, but like afterwards, I want all that.
- 4:06Speaker 1: I want a debrief. I want to see you at
- 4:08Speaker 1: breakfast the next day. I want to know what aunt
- 4:10Speaker 1: blank blank blank said to you in the hallway that
- 4:12Speaker 1: you thought was a little off kilter, because that was
- 4:15Speaker 1: the most fun I had had at the wedding. Was
- 4:17Speaker 1: I had so many like off kilter experiences that I
- 4:21Speaker 1: will share because they are funny, Like they're objectively funny.
- 4:24Speaker 1: So I don't when I do share it, I don't
- 4:26Speaker 1: want it to come come as like, oh my god,
- 4:27Speaker 1: everyone got so drunk and ridiculous. I'm like, no, I
- 4:29Speaker 1: thought it was funny. So for me, the best time
- 4:31Speaker 1: I had was like when my family and I got
- 4:34Speaker 1: together at this bar after my brother's wedding, and I
- 4:37Speaker 1: was like re enacting some of the things that had happened,
- 4:40Speaker 1: or was sharing some of my observations. The debrief is
- 4:42Speaker 1: almost more fun because you kind of get to sharing
- 4:45Speaker 1: it with the people that also maybe notice something but
- 4:48Speaker 1: didn't want to say any yeah, yeah, or they didn't
- 4:50Speaker 1: know that that conversation went down. Like at my brother's
- 4:54Speaker 1: rehearsal dinner, and I won't share names, but some of
- 4:57Speaker 1: his friends, some of the girls are super super sweet.
- 5:00Speaker 1: They were hammered and I was with and I was,
- 5:06Speaker 1: you know, I had maybe like half of a margarita.
- 5:08Speaker 1: I wasn't even gonna drink, but I was just so
- 5:10Speaker 1: stressed out. I was like, let me just have a sip.
- 5:13Speaker 1: You have one sip. So I was with my brother's
- 5:15Speaker 1: group of friends. It's these girls and a couple of guys,
- 5:17Speaker 1: and one of them is single. We'll call him. We'll
- 5:20Speaker 1: call him Blake. So I'm with Blake, and I'm with
- 5:23Speaker 1: a couple of the other girls who are all married
- 5:24Speaker 1: to my brother's other friends. And this one girl, we'll
- 5:28Speaker 1: call her Amy. Amy is the is the drunkest girl
- 5:32Speaker 1: at the party. Love that for her, for you probably
- 5:38Speaker 1: had way more fun than me this weekend because she's
- 5:40Speaker 1: just like, you know, letting it fly and letting it rip.
- 5:43Speaker 1: And we're all, you know, kind of ripping and having
- 5:44Speaker 1: a good time. But there comes a point where I
- 5:46Speaker 1: realized that I need to go to bed to my
- 5:48Speaker 1: brother's wedding. So we're at this bar after the rehearsal
- 5:51Speaker 1: dinner and we had just gotten done talking to like
- 5:55Speaker 1: Blake and my brother and a couple of the other guys,
- 5:57Speaker 1: and she looks at me and she goes, are you single?
- 5:59Speaker 1: And I was like, well, it was more like anything,
- 6:02Speaker 1: and I was like, yeah, yeah, And she was like,
- 6:06Speaker 1: have you met Blake Ben's friends? I mean, then Ben's
- 6:10Speaker 1: friend And I go, yeah, I think I've met him once.
- 6:14Speaker 1: And mind you, we're in a hotel bar, my brother,
- 6:16Speaker 1: all his friends, all my family's here, and she yells
- 6:19Speaker 1: at the top of her lungs, you should fuck Blake.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Literally, I mean louder, louder than that. And I just
- 6:28Speaker 1: look at her and I'm like I was like, no, thanks.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I'm like looking to see if my brother saw her.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I'm like, did Blake see her. I'm looking behind her
- 6:38Speaker 1: like what it's going on? And she I'm thinking she's
- 6:40Speaker 1: gonna say it once and I'm gonna go no, and
- 6:41Speaker 1: she's gonna get the point. She goes, do you want
- 6:44Speaker 1: to fuck Blake? Literally at the top of her lungs,
- 6:48Speaker 1: family out and everything, And I'm looking at the girls
- 6:52Speaker 1: next door. I'm like, can you get her to shut up?
- 6:54Speaker 2: Anybody gonna stop her?
- 6:56Speaker 1: So I'm like no, no, no, no, So I kind
- 6:58Speaker 1: of like try and pivot the conversation and she goes, wow,
- 7:00Speaker 1: like you should really fuck Blake. I'm like, I've spoken
- 7:04Speaker 1: to Blake once. Also, this is my brother's wedding.
- 7:09Speaker 2: We can we not want right now?
- 7:11Speaker 1: She said it no less than six or seven times
- 7:14Speaker 1: at that volume, and I eventually look at her, and
- 7:18Speaker 1: then a couple other things had gotten said that it
- 7:19Speaker 1: made me wildly uncomfortable that I was like, you know what,
- 7:22Speaker 1: I wasn't gonna stay out this late anyway, ye.
- 7:24Speaker 2: You know what this tells me I'm gonna leave.
- 7:26Speaker 1: And I felt bad because I did see her the
- 7:28Speaker 1: next day and she was so sober and I was not,
- 7:30Speaker 1: and I felt bad and I was like, I hope
- 7:32Speaker 1: she didn't think, cause listen, we all get a little
- 7:35Speaker 1: too drunk, we all say something a little crazy, and
- 7:38Speaker 1: I was like, I gotta go. So when I saw
- 7:41Speaker 1: her sober at the wedding the next day, I was
- 7:42Speaker 1: kind of sad. I was like, girl, like, you should
- 7:44Speaker 1: have gotten this drunk tonight because I could have handled
- 7:46Speaker 1: the you should fuck Blake comment tonight that's back and forth,
- 7:49Speaker 1: but not the day before when I'm like half a
- 7:52Speaker 1: margarita in and already getting hyped to go.
- 7:54Speaker 2: To bed and definitely don't want to fuck Blake.
- 7:57Speaker 1: It definitely was not in the mood to fuck Blake
- 7:59Speaker 1: at my brother rehearsal dinner. So thanks for that, Amy.
- 8:04Speaker 2: And a wing woman to the extreme, and I.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Appreciate it, like thanks for looking. They were hyping me
- 8:08Speaker 1: up too, like they really were so sweet, Like this
- 8:10Speaker 1: isn't me again. If this is never gonna get back
- 8:12Speaker 1: to them, or though maybe it will, I'm always shocked
- 8:14Speaker 1: at who listens to this stuff, because all my parents'
- 8:17Speaker 1: friends were also at this wedding, and like one of
- 8:19Speaker 1: my dad's fraternity brothers were like, oh, I love your tiktoks.
- 8:21Speaker 1: I'm like, why are you as a grown man on
- 8:24Speaker 1: my TikTok, but that's a whole other story. Yeah, there's
- 8:27Speaker 1: so many things I can't share from this wedding that
- 8:29Speaker 1: God in fifty years in my memoir, you guys are
- 8:32Speaker 1: gonna eat up. But I just would not make sense
- 8:34Speaker 1: to share. Now start writing it now, I will be ready.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Now I have so much Lord to share. You guys
- 8:38Speaker 1: are gonna love it coming to you in twenty seventy five.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Oh, I wish you could just like release it as
- 8:42Speaker 2: like an anonymous name. I know all the stories that
- 8:45Speaker 2: I could never share.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Well, sometimes I do share stories, and I just kind
- 8:47Speaker 1: of flip I flip, I flip timelines and stuff, so
- 8:50Speaker 1: you might you might hear things eventually down the line,
- 8:54Speaker 1: but yeah, you may or may not know if it's
- 8:56Speaker 1: me or not.
- 8:56Speaker 2: But that's hilarious. I mean, first off, that sounds so
- 8:59Speaker 2: spot on for a wedding like that is the benefit
- 9:02Speaker 2: of a cause I've gone back and forth with the
- 9:05Speaker 2: idea of I speak like I'm getting married tomorrow, but
- 9:09Speaker 2: like the idea of eloping, Yeah we're going to another
- 9:11Speaker 2: country and just having like a smaller wedding. But when
- 9:13Speaker 2: you could have some people that like you went to
- 9:16Speaker 2: school with or you know they're rowdy as hell. You
- 9:19Speaker 2: need rowdy as hell people at your wedding.
- 9:21Speaker 1: You need a wedding that matches your friend group. I
- 9:24Speaker 1: think that's what I've decided because I was there, I
- 9:26Speaker 1: was like, this is the perfect wedding for my brother
- 9:27Speaker 1: and his now wife. Oh my god, it's like so crazy.
- 9:30Speaker 1: My brother's a ring and everything. But it's funny. I've
- 9:32Speaker 1: always been pro big wedding, Like I've always wanted an
- 9:35Speaker 1: obnoxious wedding, And after we did that, I was like,
- 9:37Speaker 1: I don't know, I'm gonna get married in my thirties,
- 9:40Speaker 1: Like maybe I am the bride that like brings fifty
- 9:42Speaker 1: people with me to Egypt, and that's my wedding that'd do.
- 9:45Speaker 2: I didn't even think about Egypt. Not Egypt.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Egypt's not really safe for women, but you know what
- 9:48Speaker 1: I mean, like we go to Montenegro.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Yeah, but I mean I love the idea because we
- 9:53Speaker 2: did that with friends years ago, where they just rented
- 9:55Speaker 2: out of castle in Spain and it was like fifty people.
- 9:58Speaker 2: But luckily all fifty people rout as hell, I like
- 10:00Speaker 2: even the parents. So everyone was just out there all
- 10:03Speaker 2: night till six am, going hard, going hard, but it
- 10:06Speaker 2: would be hard to get that if, like you got
- 10:08Speaker 2: to know your family exactly.
- 10:09Speaker 1: And so I'm honestly really grateful that my brother got
- 10:11Speaker 1: married before me. I mean, obviously he's older, it was
- 10:14Speaker 1: probably gonna happen regardless, but getting to experience a wedding
- 10:17Speaker 1: weekend through my family's eyes, like I know what I
- 10:20Speaker 1: find important and what I don't, And I think, ultimately,
- 10:23Speaker 1: like the one thing I would change differently is because
- 10:26Speaker 1: there was so much pressure because this was our first
- 10:28Speaker 1: family wedding, because it's you know, I haven't got married
- 10:30Speaker 1: and I don't have any other siblings. Is I felt
- 10:33Speaker 1: like my my mom was really stressed. Oh, and I
- 10:36Speaker 1: felt like the bride's mom was really stressed. And I decided,
- 10:39Speaker 1: I'm like, whenever I get married in twenty fifty seven,
- 10:42Speaker 1: I oh, not really my almost to be here, Oh
- 10:46Speaker 1: my god. I just want everyone to be chill and
- 10:49Speaker 1: to have fun. I just like, I don't care how
- 10:51Speaker 1: much money we have to spend for other people to
- 10:54Speaker 1: set up or to do things. I just want everyone
- 10:56Speaker 1: to show up and feel like they're on vacation.
- 10:58Speaker 2: That's a good point, because the stress is what takes
- 11:00Speaker 2: away from the special moments, because if you get yourself
- 11:03Speaker 2: so wound up, you're like, are you even gonna remember this?
- 11:05Speaker 2: What were the things that you would want somebody else
- 11:07Speaker 2: to just take care of? Then if it's like your wedding,
- 11:08Speaker 2: you're like, all right, Madre, I don't want you to
- 11:10Speaker 2: stress about this. This is gonna be my vision.
- 11:12Speaker 1: What would you do? My mom had to set up
- 11:14Speaker 1: for the rehearsal dinner. I mean, and I say, had
- 11:16Speaker 1: I think she chose to do that.
- 11:17Speaker 2: I'm sure because it's like you want to have it perfect, yeah, and.
- 11:19Speaker 1: You want to have it perfect, so also it's a
- 11:20Speaker 1: way to save money. But like then you can't really
- 11:23Speaker 1: enjoy that whole day. She felt like the night before
- 11:26Speaker 1: like that was her one night to have fun because
- 11:27Speaker 1: nobody's there, she doesn't have to set up or do anything.
- 11:30Speaker 1: And then same thing for the day up. I could
- 11:33Speaker 1: tell she was very stressed and very anxious about the
- 11:36Speaker 1: whole thing. And I'm like, I just want when it's
- 11:39Speaker 1: my turn, I just want it to be like a
- 11:41Speaker 1: good time, So I don't care what I gotta spend.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I just want it to be like chill and fun.
- 11:46Speaker 2: It is fascinating to see the parts that are truly
- 11:49Speaker 2: good takeaways. Like you were talking earlier how your brother
- 11:52Speaker 2: had like a circle bar. Yeah, that's genius. It was
- 11:56Speaker 2: such a well executed wedding. I will say the ceremony
- 11:59Speaker 2: was quick.
- 11:59Speaker 1: They went boom boom boom. We got in, we got out.
- 12:01Speaker 1: We had a great circle bar, we had pre made cocktails.
- 12:05Speaker 1: I love a big proponent of the circular movement of circles,
- 12:08Speaker 1: clearly circular tables, because I think those are better for
- 12:11Speaker 1: conversation rather than the long, skinny ones like the long
- 12:13Speaker 1: banquet tables. We had a live band but also some
- 12:17Speaker 1: DJ mixt in Like it was just it was it
- 12:19Speaker 1: was great. We'd buses taking us tune from the hotel.
- 12:21Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. Like, those are the little parts
- 12:23Speaker 2: that I will spend as much money as need as
- 12:25Speaker 2: I can. Yeah, Like I've learned, like you want somebody
- 12:28Speaker 2: that's good at music. I don't care if it's a
- 12:29Speaker 2: band or DJ. That is so worth.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Every penny, every single penny.
- 12:33Speaker 2: The bar set up, I've never heard that. I'm now
- 12:35Speaker 2: taking that circle bar so people could get in and
- 12:37Speaker 2: out quick.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Yeah, because my I've been to weddings where they have
- 12:40Speaker 1: different bars in different corners of the room. But I
- 12:43Speaker 1: like and granted we had a smaller, more compact space
- 12:46Speaker 1: than other weddings I've been to, but there was just
- 12:48Speaker 1: one big bar, so whenever anybody needed a drink, you
- 12:52Speaker 1: just went to the one.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Big bar and every I'm sure they had like what
- 12:55Speaker 2: multiple bartenders in the circle.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Yeah, there were probably three or four, so you know,
- 12:59Speaker 1: there's one for every corner. But I never really felt
- 13:01Speaker 1: like I had to wait super long for a drink,
- 13:03Speaker 1: which was great. Yeah.
- 13:03Speaker 2: See, I like that. I like the transportation part of it.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Like I don't even really care about the venue, like
- 13:08Speaker 2: I want it to be a cool room. Yeah, but
- 13:12Speaker 2: as long as it's just a place everyone could gather,
- 13:14Speaker 2: it's it's pretty. Yeah.
- 13:16Speaker 1: You know, you leave the planing to your ladies.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I will, I definitely will. But those are
- 13:21Speaker 2: the things in my head, especially. I know so many
- 13:23Speaker 2: men think like this too, Like we don't understand the
- 13:25Speaker 2: flower part. We don't get why that's such a big deal.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Or have you seen flowers before? That's beautiful.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Okay, here's the problem though, huh, this has happened. We're
- 13:33Speaker 2: all that money and all.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Those flowers, uh huh.
- 13:37Speaker 2: And then at what at the end of the night,
- 13:38Speaker 2: you just get rid of them.
- 13:39Speaker 1: No, you can give them to other people, you can't think.
- 13:41Speaker 2: But also I don't think people want. Like I've been
- 13:42Speaker 2: offered the flowers, I'm like, what am I going to
- 13:44Speaker 2: do these flowers?
- 13:44Speaker 1: I understand. I think if you saw a wedding with
- 13:47Speaker 1: a lot of flowers, you would understand it does create
- 13:49Speaker 1: an ambia.
- 13:51Speaker 2: If they're really well done.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Yeah, if they're really well done and they're well spaced out,
- 13:56Speaker 1: and you know, you can add some candles and lamps
- 13:58Speaker 1: in there to kind of spread them out a little bit.
- 14:00Speaker 2: BOYD, what about the cake?
- 14:01Speaker 1: How was it? You all?
- 14:02Speaker 2: You and your mom picked the cake? Correct?
- 14:03Speaker 1: So I picked out the groomsman cake. It was delicious.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Do you want to hear about this cake? I do.
- 14:07Speaker 1: So my mom was very stressed. She's like, I don't
- 14:09Speaker 1: know what flavor they're gonna get. The said they might
- 14:10Speaker 1: have to do vanilla frosting. I know you chose chocolate
- 14:12Speaker 1: peanut butter. It was a chocolate cake with a layer
- 14:17Speaker 1: of chocolate ganage and then a layer of peanut butter frostin,
- 14:23Speaker 1: but not overpowering. It was like too much of a
- 14:25Speaker 1: peanut flavor, Yeah, just a taste, and then vanilla frosting
- 14:27Speaker 1: on the outside.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 14:29Speaker 1: It was so decadent, so delicious. I went around everyone.
- 14:32Speaker 1: I was like, are you enjoying the cake? I char
- 14:35Speaker 1: that was like the one thing I got to choose
- 14:37Speaker 1: from the wedding. So I was like, I hope you
- 14:38Speaker 1: like the cake because I chose the cake.
- 14:41Speaker 2: You gotta known.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I was like, that was my cake. Yeah. I was like,
- 14:44Speaker 1: did you like the cake? That was my pick?
- 14:45Speaker 2: Somebody actually cared.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Somebody cared enough to make sure that you had a
- 14:48Speaker 1: sweet treat tonight. See.
- 14:49Speaker 2: I'm glad that you put effort into it, because sometimes
- 14:51Speaker 2: I will go to weddings I'll completely forget about the sweets,
- 14:54Speaker 2: and that part sucks because then you get to the
- 14:55Speaker 2: end of the night and people are like, oh my god,
- 14:58Speaker 2: did you have.
- 14:58Speaker 1: The cook Okay, so good.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Then you're like, oh my god, I never got the cake.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Was there a after snack bar, Like, was there like
- 15:06Speaker 2: a ten pm extra food comes?
- 15:08Speaker 1: I think there was supposed to be. I didn't see it, though.
- 15:10Speaker 1: I got to ask because I didn't see it. And
- 15:12Speaker 1: also they gave out Chrucker hats, so Trucker hats with
- 15:16Speaker 1: American flags.
- 15:17Speaker 2: On them because again checkers hats.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Oh no, chucker flat trucker hats. And then one had
- 15:23Speaker 1: photos of my brother and his fiancee wife's dog, dog's
- 15:27Speaker 1: on the hat on the hat, so cute, but I didn't know.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I didn't see them passing it. I stole mine from
- 15:30Speaker 1: my mom. I was like, you're your hat.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely take it because you were hats all the
- 15:33Speaker 2: time and.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Wear hats all the time.
- 15:34Speaker 2: That's so fun.
- 15:35Speaker 1: And then we went to a bar afterwards. I hung
- 15:36Speaker 1: out at that bar for a little bit and then
- 15:38Speaker 1: I met my family and we did the whole reenactment
- 15:40Speaker 1: of like all the conversations I had.
- 15:42Speaker 2: How late did the night go?
- 15:43Speaker 1: Probably till midnight?
- 15:44Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, that's reasonable.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I was up doing a stand up special of.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Course, as Abby does.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Well, because one of my somebody who attended the wedding
- 15:52Speaker 1: literally ten minutes after the ceremony, was like, I think
- 15:54Speaker 1: they're getting divorced.
- 15:56Speaker 2: What the fuck? What?
- 15:58Speaker 1: So who says that at a wedding. So my mom
- 16:03Speaker 1: said that the family is really big, So we have
- 16:07Speaker 1: a lot of cousins, and so I have a cousin,
- 16:10Speaker 1: nam Ali. She got married and talked about her. But
- 16:11Speaker 1: she's a younger brother. There's four people in that family.
- 16:14Speaker 1: There's four kids in that family, but her younger brother,
- 16:16Speaker 1: her name is we'll call him Bubby for privac serieson
- 16:19Speaker 1: we call him Bubby, And Bubby has turned into a
- 16:22Speaker 1: little bit of a problem. Real he's a medicine No,
- 16:25Speaker 1: he's so sweet. But he's been like the same ever
- 16:29Speaker 1: since that he's been eight. Like he just gets taller
- 16:32Speaker 1: and that's it. He gets taller, but he's still the same.
- 16:34Speaker 1: And so every time I see him, he's just like
- 16:36Speaker 1: very chill, very laid back. He's like this, like bro
- 16:38Speaker 1: he went to George Southern. He's just like very chill.
- 16:42Speaker 1: And then we are on the way to my brother's
- 16:44Speaker 1: rehearsal dinner and he was shmacked. I'm telling you, I
- 16:47Speaker 1: don't know what was in the water at the Omni,
- 16:49Speaker 1: but everybody was hammered. He was hammered. I've never seen
- 16:51Speaker 1: that kid have so much personality. And I was like,
- 16:52Speaker 1: are you good? So anyway, the wedding comes around and
- 16:55Speaker 1: me and my cousin are I don't know, We're like
- 16:57Speaker 1: having a drink and like looking out onto the market
- 17:00Speaker 1: and again there's all these big windows, so you can
- 17:02Speaker 1: see all of the marsh, like there's it's five pm,
- 17:07Speaker 1: it's you got a clear view of everything. And then
- 17:13Speaker 1: we see Bubby start trapesing through the marsh.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Oh shit, he's just walking in.
- 17:19Speaker 1: He's like out in the forest. And we're like, what's
- 17:21Speaker 1: Bubby doing? And so Ali looks at me, he goes,
- 17:23Speaker 1: She goes, let's go outside. So we go outside, Bubby
- 17:26Speaker 1: drops trow, takes a pissby in the marsh and then
- 17:30Speaker 1: comes back and he comes back laughing, and my cousin
- 17:33Speaker 1: is like, what the actual hell? And I look at her.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't know what to do. I'm like,
- 17:38Speaker 1: he just did this in front of everybody at the wedding,
- 17:39Speaker 1: because again there's a clear view with all these windows
- 17:42Speaker 1: into the marsh. And he comes back and he looks
- 17:46Speaker 1: at my cousin. He goes, I'm gonna need a moment
- 17:48Speaker 1: alone with Abby. I'm gonna need a moment alone. And
- 17:50Speaker 1: I'm like, God, what's going on my brother? What could
- 17:53Speaker 1: you possibly need to talk about at my brother's wedding?
- 17:55Speaker 1: Like I just started drinking, Like, can we can this
- 17:57Speaker 1: wait until tomorrow?
- 17:58Speaker 2: Yeah? Probably could?
- 17:59Speaker 1: So he sends my cousin inside, who's like, whatever, I
- 18:03Speaker 1: do not have the I believe, And so then he
- 18:06Speaker 1: pulls me aside again. He's super he's tipsy whipsie, and
- 18:11Speaker 1: he looks at me and goes, you know, I've been
- 18:15Speaker 1: online recently and I've just seen a lot of concerning
- 18:17Speaker 1: statistics about nurses getting married. What which, By the way,
- 18:21Speaker 1: my brother's wife is a nurse, Like, you know, the
- 18:25Speaker 1: divorce rate for nurses are just really high, and it
- 18:29Speaker 1: only skyrockets when they start staying home to have kids.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 18:33Speaker 1: And I look at and he doesn't really talk like that.
- 18:36Speaker 1: I'm just being dramatic. I look at Bubby and I go,
- 18:38Speaker 1: what am I supposed to do with this information? My
- 18:40Speaker 1: brother got married ten minutes ago. First of all, if
- 18:42Speaker 1: you were gonna say something you had all year, you
- 18:46Speaker 1: had last night. But now we're here and we're six
- 18:49Speaker 1: figures down.
- 18:49Speaker 2: The drain actually happened. They're done.
- 18:52Speaker 1: I was like, this is my brother's wife of fifteen minutes, Like,
- 18:54Speaker 1: let's let's tick a deep, let's.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Wait on the divorce talk for just a second.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm like, I'm not even sure they've signed the
- 19:00Speaker 1: marriage license. So you should have told you should go
- 19:02Speaker 1: up to them right now if you really feel that
- 19:04Speaker 1: strongly about it.
- 19:04Speaker 2: They are the statistics.
- 19:05Speaker 1: And we're out there talking for so long that two
- 19:07Speaker 1: of my other cousins, one of his brothers and then
- 19:10Speaker 1: one of our step cousins, like my mom's stepsisters kids.
- 19:14Speaker 1: When he comes out and I look at them and
- 19:16Speaker 1: I was like, personally, I just can't be in this
- 19:18Speaker 1: conversation right now. I'm gonna go back inside. So I
- 19:21Speaker 1: don't know what happened after that, but I go back
- 19:23Speaker 1: in to my cousin and her husband and I look
- 19:25Speaker 1: at them and I go, I don't know how to
- 19:26Speaker 1: tell you this, but your brother thinks my brother and
- 19:28Speaker 1: his wife with fifteen minutes are getting divorced.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Do that as you will.
- 19:32Speaker 1: I was like, he's that level of drunk, so whatever's
- 19:34Speaker 1: going on, someone needs to work it out.
- 19:36Speaker 2: That's so impressively drunk. So yeah, I always look at
- 19:39Speaker 2: me when they get to that level, I'm like, wow,
- 19:41Speaker 2: how are you still functioning? I don't know, are you
- 19:44Speaker 2: still standing?
- 19:45Speaker 1: He didn't seem like hammered. I was just like, dude, like,
- 19:47Speaker 1: what did you take something?
- 19:49Speaker 2: It's very admirable that he's looking up these statistics looking
- 19:51Speaker 2: out for your family.
- 19:52Speaker 1: But I was like, why are you looking up these statistics?
- 19:54Speaker 1: What's happening?
- 19:55Speaker 2: How did that end up on your algorithm?
- 19:57Speaker 1: Also, why is the twenty two year old cousin being
- 19:59Speaker 1: the to tell us that my brother's getting divorced.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Yeah, he's really bringing the hard hitting facts, really making
- 20:04Speaker 2: sure that everyone's set up. Did anybody get set home
- 20:07Speaker 2: in the middle of the day or like in the
- 20:08Speaker 2: middle of the night.
- 20:09Speaker 1: He did. No, I think Bubby did.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Damn it, Bubby.
- 20:11Speaker 1: I think Bubby got sent home at the rehearsal dinner
- 20:13Speaker 1: and the wedding.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Did you see him the next day, like afterwards, like
- 20:16Speaker 2: how's everyone doing? The day after?
- 20:17Speaker 1: He seemed pretty, uh like normal, Like normally he's just
- 20:20Speaker 1: very chill, very just like middle of the road. So
- 20:22Speaker 1: when I saw him at breakfast, I was like, back
- 20:24Speaker 1: to normal.
- 20:24Speaker 2: That's crazy. If I got that, maybe that's because I'm
- 20:27Speaker 2: about to be thirty, But like, if I got that
- 20:29Speaker 2: level of like do you it's gonna take me days
- 20:32Speaker 2: days to come back.
- 20:33Speaker 1: No, he's twenty two. He went to George Southern. I
- 20:35Speaker 1: think his liver different. Damn his liver is just born different.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Ah, that's that southern body. They could just handle a
- 20:41Speaker 2: lot more. I know, like they could just go hard
- 20:43Speaker 2: next day. Rap back to normal. Start with the beer.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Tall, little wet boy, totally fine.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Put it down.
- 20:49Speaker 1: He put it down.
- 20:50Speaker 2: No hookups at the wedding.
- 20:52Speaker 1: If there hat were, I was not privy to them.
- 20:54Speaker 1: But also, my brother's also older, so a lot of
- 20:57Speaker 1: his friends are other than Blake. Were married, Mary with
- 21:00Speaker 1: like children like married married were.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Children a lout at the wedding.
- 21:04Speaker 1: No, I think my cousin's baby was allowed to come.
- 21:08Speaker 2: L is that the baby is like really cute?
- 21:11Speaker 1: Yeah, And you know what, Actually, that's the one thing
- 21:13Speaker 1: I changed my mind about at this wedding. I've always
- 21:16Speaker 1: been anti because I don't like kids. I've always been
- 21:18Speaker 1: anti kid at weddings. I'm like, I don't want kids there?
- 21:20Speaker 1: Who wants kids there? I think if I get married,
- 21:23Speaker 1: I don't give a fuck bring your kid.
- 21:24Speaker 2: That's how I feel now. Yeah, I'm like, if you
- 21:26Speaker 2: want to come, and if that's the deciding factor whether
- 21:29Speaker 2: you could go or not, yeah, I don't care. Let
- 21:30Speaker 2: your kid dance around the floor.
- 21:32Speaker 1: And do you want to know why I changed my
- 21:33Speaker 1: mind on it, Because I think I saw how little
- 21:37Speaker 1: fun people were having that had to worry about like
- 21:41Speaker 1: what their kids were up to. They either had to leave,
- 21:43Speaker 1: somebody had to go watch the kid. They were thinking
- 21:45Speaker 1: about who was watching their kid while they were there.
- 21:47Speaker 1: I'm like, if you would have more fun if your
- 21:49Speaker 1: freaking baby was here?
- 21:51Speaker 2: Fine, that makes sense. Yeah, And it's like how many
- 21:53Speaker 2: I mean again, I think of my own family, we
- 21:56Speaker 2: don't got that many people. So it is how many kids?
- 21:59Speaker 1: Really?
- 21:59Speaker 2: Would it be? Maybe four or five? My god, that's
- 22:01Speaker 2: no big deal.
- 22:02Speaker 1: I think anybody over like between the ages of like
- 22:05Speaker 1: two in ten, go go somewhere else, you know what
- 22:10Speaker 1: I mean? Like, I think you can figure out childkid there.
- 22:12Speaker 1: But if it's like a baby and you're worried about
- 22:14Speaker 1: your baby, understandable.
- 22:15Speaker 2: What about like ten to eighteen, because then you're like
- 22:19Speaker 2: a teenager and teenagers I mean, I think you'd be
- 22:21Speaker 2: welcome at my wedding. Yeah.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Actually, I just think I don't give a fuck anymore. Yeah,
- 22:24Speaker 1: you know what, no more rules. I don't care. Bring
- 22:26Speaker 1: your kid, bring your kids, shoot off your fireworks, shoot
- 22:28Speaker 1: off your fireworks, run around. I just want people have fun.
- 22:31Speaker 1: I think that's what I left, is I just like,
- 22:32Speaker 1: whatever it takes for you to have a good time,
- 22:34Speaker 1: I want you to do that.
- 22:35Speaker 2: That's a beautiful way of looking at it. That's like
- 22:37Speaker 2: what it really comes down to. It's like I want you,
- 22:40Speaker 2: in years down the line, to be like, man, your
- 22:43Speaker 2: wedding was so fun, Like you're not going to tell
- 22:45Speaker 2: me what color of the drapes were, but you'll tell
- 22:47Speaker 2: me how good the DJ was.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Absolutely, did you have fun? Did you dance with your kid?
- 22:51Speaker 1: Did you finally say screw it, I am getting childcare?
- 22:54Speaker 2: You know you'd be in the middle of the event,
- 22:55Speaker 2: in the.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Middle of that, screw it, send her to daycare, your.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Kid off to some random waiter that's walking around here, Take.
- 23:00Speaker 1: My kid, give him a beer. They'll figure it out.
- 23:02Speaker 2: That got it? I mean back in the day, isn't
- 23:03Speaker 2: that what they did is Roger Kidden left him. They're
- 23:05Speaker 2: there now. That's cool. I think, Actually, that's kind of
- 23:08Speaker 2: a cool perspective to bring in. You go to all
- 23:10Speaker 2: these weddings and eventually like, you know what, damn, I'm
- 23:13Speaker 2: gonna make mine so simple. As long as it's fun,
- 23:15Speaker 2: as long as my loved ones are there, that's a
- 23:17Speaker 2: good ass time. Well then congratulations to your family, Thank you.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Congrats to them. Hopefully they don't get divorced like Bubby things.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Buffy Bubby, I think is going to be wrong on
- 23:25Speaker 2: that one.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Bubby Bubby was on one.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Did your brother and wife already go on their honeymoon leave?
- 23:30Speaker 1: They're flying out today. Wow, they're going to Saint Lucia.
- 23:34Speaker 2: That's so exciting.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Saint Lucia, just like as in the Caribbean.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Okay, that's like sit back on the beach like bv
- 23:39Speaker 2: I and Tan. Yeah, do all the stuff.
- 23:42Speaker 1: In the sun, just gonna lounge for like a week.
- 23:44Speaker 2: I go back and forth again all our imaginary wedding
- 23:47Speaker 2: talk of what I would want for a honeymoon. I
- 23:50Speaker 2: was thinking about that weirdly this weekend. But if I
- 23:52Speaker 2: would want to just lounge and just do nothing and
- 23:55Speaker 2: just wake up, I don't know, and then you sit
- 23:58Speaker 2: by the beach, or if if you make it like this,
- 24:01Speaker 2: we got two weeks of a vacation, let's go hike
- 24:03Speaker 2: a mountain and walk through it.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Why would you want to do that on your wind
- 24:07Speaker 1: because it's your time, Like if it's paid for and
- 24:09Speaker 1: you got the time to go do something that you
- 24:11Speaker 1: never would be able to do and you can travel
- 24:13Speaker 1: at any point, you can do like a quote unquote
- 24:16Speaker 1: stressful vacation at any point. I feel like the wedding
- 24:19Speaker 1: is the stressful thing, and then you need a vacation from.
- 24:22Speaker 2: That, Yeah, to be able to sit back and literally
- 24:24Speaker 2: do nothing.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Yeah, but I mean, like whatever feels like a vacation
- 24:27Speaker 1: for you. Again, I'm done putting parameters on what people
- 24:29Speaker 1: should do. If hiking to you feels like a vacation,
- 24:32Speaker 1: do it.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Who knew that this would be the wedding that just
- 24:35Speaker 2: changed everything for your perspective?
- 24:37Speaker 1: And now I think it's cause it's like I was
- 24:38Speaker 1: somewhat a part of it that I'm like, I feel
- 24:40Speaker 1: like we checked that box. I'm like, oh, yeah, we did.
- 24:42Speaker 1: We did the wedding thing that by the time I
- 24:45Speaker 1: get married in ten years, I do not give a fuck.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Let's just go, Let's just go somewhere, Let's just go
- 24:49Speaker 1: have a Let's go get absolutely shmacked somewhere.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Hell yeah, I would like to do it on a vineyard.
- 24:54Speaker 1: A vineyard would be fun.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Get wine drunk and tipsy. Yeah, I want to maybe
- 24:58Speaker 2: have some animals around.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Little copy bar moment. Why not get Clynt Powell out
- 25:03Speaker 1: in the field.
- 25:04Speaker 2: That is something I've seen so many weddings over here
- 25:06Speaker 2: in Tampa Bay of like barn weddings, and at first
- 25:10Speaker 2: I started doing them. I'm like, I don't know how
- 25:11Speaker 2: I feel about the barn wedding. I don't know if
- 25:13Speaker 2: that fits my estet.
- 25:14Speaker 1: I did see somebody talk about Taylor and Travis's wedding
- 25:16Speaker 1: that way where it's like, you had a barn wedding
- 25:19Speaker 1: and you're gonna say that Madison Square Garden can't be
- 25:21Speaker 1: a good wedding venue for the richest person on earth,
- 25:24Speaker 1: like the last people this is what the video said.
- 25:26Speaker 1: The last person to live in your wedding venue was
- 25:29Speaker 1: a cow, you know what I mean. And the last
- 25:31Speaker 1: person to have a private party at Madison Square Garden
- 25:34Speaker 1: was like Elizabeth Taylor.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Okay, Like that's so Druvans. What it costs, Like Taylor,
- 25:39Speaker 2: I think to rent out Madison Square Garden. I saw
- 25:42Speaker 2: a number like thirty to forty million dollars that's just
- 25:45Speaker 2: to rent Madison Square Guard.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Do you think it was like a I feel like
- 25:48Speaker 1: that's a little expensive. No.
- 25:50Speaker 2: I mean, if I think about what it would take
- 25:52Speaker 2: a night, so Let's say you would have to pay
- 25:54Speaker 2: for everything that they would make in a night, and
- 25:56Speaker 2: that's tickets to a game, that's all the beer and food,
- 26:00Speaker 2: drinks and stuff that they bring in.
- 26:02Speaker 1: It's also the off season.
- 26:03Speaker 2: So I yes, I think that was just a ballpark number,
- 26:07Speaker 2: but I think thirty million sounds about right to rent
- 26:09Speaker 2: out the Madison Square Garden.
- 26:10Speaker 1: I feel like thirty million doesn't make sense. So let's
- 26:13Speaker 1: let's do the math. Madison Square Garden can have like
- 26:15Speaker 1: what twenty thousand people.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Let's say twenty because I think amily could have like
- 26:18Speaker 2: twenty two something like that.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Let's say the average ticket price is two fifty Okay,
- 26:22Speaker 1: let's do this twenty thousand times three hundred.
- 26:25Speaker 2: But I wonder how much money is that's only six million, okay,
- 26:28Speaker 2: now food and drinks.
- 26:29Speaker 1: So let's say twelve million. Let's say everyone then spends
- 26:32Speaker 1: two hundred and fifty dollars on food and drink twelve million.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Twelve million, okay, okay, let's okay, if we want to
- 26:38Speaker 2: just put it in that twelve million dollars to rent
- 26:40Speaker 2: out Madison Square Garden. That's actually the part where I
- 26:43Speaker 2: was thinking about it this weekend. That's when I realized, Okay,
- 26:47Speaker 2: this is actually legit, because I don't think Taylor would
- 26:49Speaker 2: want that in her name, that she just put on
- 26:51Speaker 2: this fake wedding that cost all this money and shut
- 26:53Speaker 2: down all these streets to not get married there.
- 26:55Speaker 1: I also think that she and again kind of like
- 26:57Speaker 1: how I feel, where it's like, ok, I think she's
- 27:01Speaker 1: sick of people being like she makes a spectacle. Even
- 27:03Speaker 1: my mom said, like, does she really need a wedding?
- 27:05Speaker 1: She needed all that attention. I'm like, she's a girl
- 27:07Speaker 1: who just wants to get married, and this is the
- 27:09Speaker 1: one way she can have a secure wedding where she
- 27:11Speaker 1: can invite all the people she wants. She does all
- 27:14Speaker 1: the money in the world. Let the girl have a
- 27:16Speaker 1: freaking wedding weekend.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Yeah, as I looked at everything this weekend, it did
- 27:20Speaker 2: make sense. And I was really trying to fight it
- 27:22Speaker 2: because on even the day that she's supposed to get
- 27:24Speaker 2: married Friday, I was like on Instagram trying to see
- 27:27Speaker 2: is like there anything leaked, anything put out there? Very
- 27:29Speaker 2: impressed that nothing was. The one thing that I did
- 27:32Speaker 2: see that would make sense for it was the pictures
- 27:35Speaker 2: of celebrities getting in and out of cars. I saw
- 27:38Speaker 2: a couple, like I think I saw Stephen Colbert like
- 27:40Speaker 2: in the back of a car coming out of it,
- 27:41Speaker 2: and I was like, oh, okay, I guess it's legit.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Oh for sure.
- 27:45Speaker 2: And I think like Adam Sandler. For some reason, everyone
- 27:49Speaker 2: knew that Adam Sandler was going to officiate it. That
- 27:52Speaker 2: just seemed ridiculous to me.
- 27:54Speaker 1: I think they have a good relationship, but I was
- 27:56Speaker 1: just thinking about it.
- 27:57Speaker 2: I was like, that would be hilarious. Adam Sandler would
- 28:00Speaker 2: be the perfect person to officiate it.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Like, I really do feel like Taylor and Travis are
- 28:04Speaker 1: just these kids from the Midwest and the Northeast, and
- 28:07Speaker 1: they just happened to end up in this position to
- 28:09Speaker 1: where they're like, you know what, if we could do anything,
- 28:11Speaker 1: because we can do anything, what would we do. We'd
- 28:14Speaker 1: have a wedding where we literally invite all the coolest
- 28:16Speaker 1: people in the world, Kate Middleton, Prince William. I don't
- 28:20Speaker 1: think they were there, but I do think they got invited.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Let's invite let's have fuck it, let's have Adam Sandler
- 28:25Speaker 1: officiate our wedding. Whatever.
- 28:27Speaker 2: That'd be so cool. I mean, good for them. I
- 28:30Speaker 2: can't wait for her, And I know it already did happen.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Like I know, at this point, I've accepted she did
- 28:35Speaker 2: get married. That's cool.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Are you hoping she didn't get married?
- 28:38Speaker 2: Oh? I was just I was really trying to see,
- 28:40Speaker 2: like how is that even the case? But it's like
- 28:42Speaker 2: you said, and that's what makes sense, the security of
- 28:44Speaker 2: it all. Nobody could leak anything. It's all security covered
- 28:47Speaker 2: from the outside in, and you could do anything within.
- 28:51Speaker 2: And that's what I heard, Like she turned it into
- 28:52Speaker 2: what Alice in Wonderland themed a little bit of was
- 28:54Speaker 2: it was the other one.
- 28:56Speaker 1: So here's what I've heard, and I'm trying to do
- 28:59Speaker 1: my I'm trying to take my theories because I think
- 29:01Speaker 1: the wedding ceremony happened in like the theater, and then
- 29:05Speaker 1: I think the reception happened on like the basketball court.
- 29:08Speaker 1: And I think the ceremony, or maybe it was the reception,
- 29:13Speaker 1: one of the things was made to look like her
- 29:15Speaker 1: Love Story music video, and I think she walked down
- 29:18Speaker 1: the aisle to Taylor Swift's Love Story That's bad Ass,
- 29:21Speaker 1: which you know what again, it sounds almost like a
- 29:24Speaker 1: parody of what her wedding would be like. Oh, and
- 29:26Speaker 1: then she rebuilt the Castle from the Love Story music video.
- 29:29Speaker 1: But I really think she was like, fuck it, Like,
- 29:31Speaker 1: that's my song, that's I wrote I even though it's
- 29:34Speaker 1: cheesy because everyone else has done it, that's my.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Song her life, Like that's what she would want.
- 29:39Speaker 1: About, wanting someone to get on a knee and ask
- 29:41Speaker 1: me to marry them and get married and blah blah
- 29:43Speaker 1: blah blah blah. And I chose that castle when I
- 29:45Speaker 1: was sixteen for that for that music video because I
- 29:48Speaker 1: loved it and I thought it was a beautiful venue.
- 29:49Speaker 1: And you know what, if I could get married there,
- 29:51Speaker 1: I would, but I can't because I'm Taylor Swift.
- 29:53Speaker 2: And you know what, I think everything that lines up
- 29:55Speaker 2: it just shows us how And this is gonna sound nuts,
- 29:59Speaker 2: especially if you don't like Taylor Swift, but like how
- 30:02Speaker 2: down to earth kind of tailor is, Like she's still
- 30:05Speaker 2: like you said, she's just a girl. I know that's
- 30:08Speaker 2: like an Instagram, but she is.
- 30:10Speaker 1: She's just a girl. And there's a lot of celebrities
- 30:12Speaker 1: that to me feel like celebrities. Like when I saw
- 30:14Speaker 1: du Aleipa and Kalum Turner get married, I was like,
- 30:16Speaker 1: that's a celebrity. That's a celebrity wedding to me, Taylor Swift.
- 30:20Speaker 1: No matter how rich she gets, it is still just
- 30:22Speaker 1: Taylor Swift.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I mean. Yeah, like she's not
- 30:25Speaker 2: I mean, yes, she wears expensive things and does expensive stuff. Yeah,
- 30:28Speaker 2: but that's literally because she has no Oh this is
- 30:30Speaker 2: so funny how we defend her so hard, but like
- 30:32Speaker 2: she has no other choice, Like what do you wanted
- 30:34Speaker 2: to do?
- 30:37Speaker 1: When people yell at her for flying private all the time,
- 30:39Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, I'll give you a perfect example. There's
- 30:42Speaker 1: an influencer whose name is Livy Done. Oh yeah, I
- 30:44Speaker 1: know don So Livy Done, this random influencer who you know,
- 30:48Speaker 1: she's big following. I'm not trying to like diminish her,
- 30:51Speaker 1: but like you're listening to this and you're probably thinking,
- 30:53Speaker 1: I've never once heard of Livy Done. Exactly google her.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Guys will track her plane and then buy refundable plane
- 31:01Speaker 1: tickets so they can show up and get photos with
- 31:04Speaker 1: her at her gait.
- 31:05Speaker 2: That's horrible, you know what I mean.
- 31:07Speaker 1: And you want Taylor Swift to fly commercial? You know
- 31:10Speaker 1: what I mean?
- 31:11Speaker 2: Like, it's just being unreasonable.
- 31:12Speaker 1: It would be so disruptive. People would be constantly coming
- 31:15Speaker 1: up to first class being.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Like hey, hey, hey, hey, oh my oh, it would
- 31:17Speaker 2: be a security nightmare at the airport.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Yeah, so just let let this one person have a
- 31:22Speaker 1: plane and if.
- 31:22Speaker 2: She has the money to do it, like do it.
- 31:24Speaker 2: I mean it's one, yes, the plane, but also for
- 31:26Speaker 2: the wedding of like what she decorated it as. I'm
- 31:29Speaker 2: I hope that eventually we get to see like at
- 31:31Speaker 2: least some of it, like a little peak.
- 31:33Speaker 1: I think it'll be maybe two weeks we'll see it,
- 31:37Speaker 1: maybe a week maybe.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Two weeks before it like she reveals that she actually
- 31:40Speaker 2: did get married.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Yeah, Like I think they're gonna give it. They're either
- 31:43Speaker 1: going to post today we're recording on Monday, or they're
- 31:46Speaker 1: gonna post on Friday, or it'll be another.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Week after that. Yeah, on her timeline, So.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Either Monday, Friday or a week after this up cound
- 31:55Speaker 1: be Friday.
- 31:55Speaker 2: I'll be excited. I know it did happen and obviously,
- 31:59Speaker 2: but I think that will be the part for me
- 32:00Speaker 2: that's like, Okay, finally she acknowledged it, because up until now,
- 32:03Speaker 2: like she hasn't said anything about it. Travis hasn't said
- 32:05Speaker 2: anything about it. Yeah, the closest I got today from
- 32:07Speaker 2: seeing anything was from Travis's mom Donna. I was like,
- 32:10Speaker 2: I don't know, said like a congratulations store or no.
- 32:12Speaker 2: She said that it was magical, and I was like, oh, well,
- 32:14Speaker 2: Donna Kelsey's now saying it's magical. Well, then that makes
- 32:17Speaker 2: perfect sense exactly. Then it actually did happen. Well that's exciting.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Well I do tomorrow I'll get into like what happened
- 32:23Speaker 2: over the weekend because I partied like I was in
- 32:25Speaker 2: college again. And I'm not saying I regret anything, but damn,
- 32:28Speaker 2: I gotta learn my lesson quicker next time you got
- 32:30Speaker 2: a hydrate. We're gonna talk about it tomorrow at the
- 32:33Speaker 2: Abbey Murphy on Socials at Scott Tavlin online. If you
- 32:36Speaker 2: do want to leave a review or a rating on
- 32:39Speaker 2: the podcast, that would be amazing. Let me look at
- 32:41Speaker 2: one of the ones recently. Okay, Meg said absolutely wild
- 32:47Speaker 2: hearing that tequila keeps Abby even keeled because it turns her.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Oh that's funny, because it turns her into a googly
- 32:56Speaker 2: A giggly salute for my husband. Oh what eaganly sleut
- 33:00Speaker 2: for my husband is what Meg says when she drinks tequila.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Oh I thought she was talking about me. I'm like,
- 33:05Speaker 1: I haven't done anything to your husband.
- 33:10Speaker 2: No, not you, no, no, no.
- 33:12Speaker 1: That's Tequila's an upper. It's the one alcohol that does.
- 33:15Speaker 1: It's not a depressant.
- 33:15Speaker 2: That's why I drink it now. But that's not what
- 33:17Speaker 2: I had over the weekend. I'll tell you what happened
- 33:19Speaker 2: yesterday tomorrow
