Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: All right.
- 0:01Speaker 1: Fsu Miami.
- 0:02Speaker 1: We got FSU recruiting coordinator analyst for the network, jimmy Reno.
- 0:08Speaker 1: We got Miami contributor Justin.
- 0:12Speaker 1: We got them both on the line.
- 0:13Speaker 1: It's big week, it's my rivalry Canes up in here.
- 0:19Speaker 2: We got a cane up in here, so yeah, we got at least one Miami, one cane Miami week, miami week Big game the spreads to touchdowns at 330.
- 0:33Speaker 1: We'll start with you, jimmy.
- 0:34Speaker 1: How does, how does FSU look in terms of health at the wide receiver position?
- 0:42Speaker 3: I mean, I think everybody's back or should be back.
- 0:45Speaker 3: The question is going to be Johnny Wilson.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Personally, I don't.
- 0:48Speaker 3: I don't think he's going to play for the rest of the season.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Oh wow, I think he.
- 0:52Speaker 3: I think he's had two concussions.
- 0:54Speaker 3: I think they're just gonna.
- 0:56Speaker 3: I don't know, I don't know that's just that's the pessimistic take on it but are you saying that you don't know and you're speculating?
- 1:04Speaker 3: Speculating, yeah, speculating, that grain of salt, man Hot speculation.
- 1:09Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Well, so you think?
- 1:12Speaker 3: he has to.
- 1:13Speaker 3: I think he's had two concussions.
- 1:16Speaker 3: I think both injuries that he's had have been have been concussions.
- 1:19Speaker 1: man, I mean, he's walked off the field under his own power, but he's just a little shell, shell it's not what you want to hear, because I I think he has the most chemistry with Jordan Travis of all the receivers.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Yeah, and he seems to be, you know, like I said last time, the guy that Jordan looks for.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Yeah, he's that security blanket.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Yeah, comfort blanket, comfort blanket.
- 1:43Speaker 3: But I, you know, I think Coleman will be back.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, let's go to Justin.
- 1:50Speaker 1: What about the running backs for Miami?
- 1:52Speaker 1: I?
- 1:53Speaker 2: actually got some great news on that for Keynes fans yesterday.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Parish Cheney and AJ Allen are all back healthy for the game tomorrow.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Plus, we saw what the freshman Fletcher can do last week in a loss.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Right, I mean we got.
- 2:11Speaker 2: We got running backs like freaking Nebraska in the 90 right now.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I don't think anybody knows, and I wouldn't tell anyone either if I was either of the coaches.
- 2:20Speaker 1: But what do you think?
- 2:22Speaker 1: Do you think who starts a quarterback at 3 30?
- 2:25Speaker 1: If you had to guess?
- 2:28Speaker 2: Um, if I'm guessing from a Mario Cristobal prism, then TVD starts.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Okay, if I'm looking through a prism of any reasonable person that understands football whatsoever, then it's Emory Williams.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Right.
- 2:45Speaker 2: So that means, tvd will start.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I agree If they no-transcript.
- 2:53Speaker 1: If you're, if you're Miami, what you want to run the ball, you know, don't throw it too much.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Try to control the clock.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I Think you get the young guy in there.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Yeah, you just talked about the running backs being healthy.
- 3:06Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 3:08Speaker 3: I Would agree with you, man, just just looking at Florida State on on, you know how you can have success against the defense.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Teams have been able to run against us, you know they've.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Now it hasn't Been for like 200, 300 yards, but again, like, if there's a way that you're gonna tag it, throw stable and running backs with that big, powerful offensive line you know, lean on them, take your shots with a younger quarterback.
- 3:31Speaker 3: I think that would.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Yeah, that that seems to fit the strength of what Miami's trying to do and a way that they can have success against Florida State's defense.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Offense look terrible.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Last week Miami's did it was.
- 3:44Speaker 2: It was what's going on, and I'm dying, yeah, yeah.
- 3:46Speaker 2: It's all van dyke.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I I haven't seen a regression in a quarterback like this, maybe ever.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Yeah, it is it is when he's good.
- 3:58Speaker 1: He looks like he gets people talking about first picking the draft for number, like I remember when he was talking about first round A couple years ago.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Well, they were even as Todd McShea even as recently as after they played Texas A&M.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Right, because he looks sharp.
- 4:11Speaker 1: And then he's got it.
- 4:13Speaker 1: He's got a rifle cannon for an arm, yeah.
- 4:16Speaker 3: And it just, I mean, he torched him.
- 4:17Speaker 3: That was an NFL performance what he did against Texas A&M and it.
- 4:22Speaker 3: You know Justin's right.
- 4:22Speaker 3: I don't understand the regression, I don't know what's what's happened, but he's clearly like that NC State game.
- 4:28Speaker 3: You know anybody else at quarterback that can just be serviceable and Miami's walking out of there with the W, hard earned W, but it's a W.
- 4:36Speaker 3: So, yeah, I, I look for, you know, maybe van dyke to start, but definitely Emory Williams to get in and I wouldn't rule out jacuri brown.
- 4:47Speaker 3: I know that there's been the talk that he's gonna redshirt, but I mean this seems like a game that you know to have some packages for him would probably not be a horrible idea.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Let's go to, let's let's go to the other side of the ball Florida State's offense.
- 5:02Speaker 1: What's gonna, what's gotta be the plan to go after?
- 5:05Speaker 1: This freak on defense, rue and Baines is this guy's a monster.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Yeah, you gotta figure out how to block him.
- 5:12Speaker 3: I don't think we faced a defensive lineman you know?
- 5:16Speaker 1: yeah, the NC State coach door, dave Doran, said he hasn't seen a freshman like this.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I don't know if he can remember.
- 5:22Speaker 3: No, I mean you, you haven't, you haven't really seen one in the ACC in terms of On the defensive line.
- 5:27Speaker 1: He's a true freshman.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's an.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Oh my goodness.
- 5:30Speaker 3: I mean, you see, you see, you've seen guys like him in Alabama right and Georgia for us.
- 5:35Speaker 3: But this is yeah, this dude is for real man.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Yeah, but even at, even at places like Alabama, you don't see true right, yeah, yeah, exactly on the defensive line.
- 5:46Speaker 1: This is like a Derwin James type of guy right, yeah, yeah that was like I remember seeing him as a true freshman at Florida State and he was like oh my god, this guy's throwing off into tackles.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Yeah, and his safety, and then that's the kind of you look at Bane and he does not look like a true freshman physically.
- 6:01Speaker 3: No he doesn't play like it like a true freshman right.
- 6:05Speaker 3: This is a kid that's on that three-year plan and he'll be playing on Sunday.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Oh yeah, um I Amis defense has actually been much improved this season.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Yeah, we're worlds better man, they, they just.
- 6:17Speaker 3: You know, I Know Kevin steel has a good reputation for being a coach for 60 years, but I mean, it's just night and day.
- 6:25Speaker 3: When you watch Miami, the defense is actually looks like they know what they're doing.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Last year was just now.
- 6:31Speaker 3: I don't know what the hell was going on.
- 6:32Speaker 3: But yeah, this defense is scary, man.
- 6:34Speaker 3: You.
- 6:35Speaker 3: You know they've lost games, but it hasn't been because of the defense, it's.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Yeah, you got to figure out a way to block, bane, that that's.
- 6:42Speaker 3: It starts right there right.
- 6:44Speaker 3: And there's other guys on that defensive line, man, you know other dudes that are gonna give you problems.
- 6:48Speaker 3: So yeah.
- 6:51Speaker 2: If you're gonna contain Reuben Bane on the line, then we will know the names of these other defense linemen yeah it's gonna take three guys to block him.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Yeah, what.
- 6:59Speaker 1: All right, let's ask you, justin, what, what?
- 7:03Speaker 1: What scares you the most about Florida State?
- 7:06Speaker 1: On either side of the ball, what's one matchup in particular?
- 7:09Speaker 1: We talked about Banes for Miami.
- 7:12Speaker 1: What's a guy for FSU that has you worried you?
- 7:17Speaker 2: Honestly, and I mean this is kind of seems like a cop out, but I'll explain why.
- 7:22Speaker 2: This is what I'm scared the most of is Jordan Travis.
- 7:27Speaker 1: That's a great answer, I mean.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Well, what Miami does well on defense is we get after the quarterback right.
- 7:34Speaker 2: And what Jordan Travis might be the best in the country at is Making plays while he's scrambling when the pocket collapses, finding lanes to run through and finding lanes to throw through, and with our uber aggressive pass rush, those lanes are gonna be there for Jordan Travis.
- 7:52Speaker 2: I wouldn't be surprised if Travis runs for over a hundred yards.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Yeah, so that, yeah, I agree he needs when he's.
- 7:59Speaker 1: He's been able to run it a little more lately.
- 8:01Speaker 1: You saw it in the dude game.
- 8:03Speaker 1: When they needed it on that long drive, they went to it.
- 8:05Speaker 1: That will be key.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, it's been the difference in, in close situations, close games, him starting to use his legs.
- 8:13Speaker 3: I think I'll.
- 8:15Speaker 3: I'll echo what Justin said.
- 8:16Speaker 3: I think the only way Florida State can can win this game as if Jordan Travis.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Jimmy is he's, I knew it was coming.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Yeah, man scared Jimmy.
- 8:26Speaker 1: He's getting nervous, this guy.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, justin, he's got PTSD.
- 8:31Speaker 3: sports wise from your first game as a kid is is the 1987 game, when they've they missed the two-point conversion and lose by one point to Miami.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Like that's it.
- 8:44Speaker 1: That's your kids know anything about that?
- 8:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I know.
- 8:47Speaker 3: I know they're not old guys like I am, but it you know, I think 14 points is way too high for a spread.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Well, if you look at the you know, nc State just beat Miami by 14 and you're about to go on the road to the number 14.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I think it's a fair spread.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Now, you know, I agree with you.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I agree with the rivalry game because you know that, my, you know Miami FSU.
- 9:11Speaker 1: These guys know each other.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Yeah, they play.
- 9:13Speaker 1: They grew up most of the guys in this team grew up playing high school football against each other.
- 9:17Speaker 1: So this is gonna be a different type of game, a different type of preparation for it.
- 9:21Speaker 1: So, yes, I get all that.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Well, you say, you say rivalry game.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Let's like there's rivalry games like Kentucky and Louisville is a rivalry game, right, this is a different rivalry game.
- 9:32Speaker 2: This is the best rivalry game in the country, yeah this is, you know, this defined college football for an entire decade, this game right here right.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Um so yeah, it's.
- 9:43Speaker 3: It's hard to go in there feeling like either team is gonna kid and and you know it's really.
- 9:47Speaker 3: History shows that Florida State does not typically blow Miami out Indochamble so what if you think about Miami, for instance, this season?
- 9:56Speaker 1: it's not, it started out good for no.
- 9:58Speaker 1: And then one of the worst Befoon plays at of all time I mean coaching decisions of all time happens and kind of lost the team really, and this would be an ultimate Like we're back, everything's okay With all the recruits there.
- 10:19Speaker 1: This is a huge game for momentum Reputation, where where you're gonna go in a couple years right, right.
- 10:26Speaker 3: You know there's gonna be over 200 recruits in attendance, like well over 50 blue chips, and not all of them are coming up with the focus on Florida State, you know there's right guys that are coming up there to see Miami.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Yeah, so this is huge for both schools.
- 10:38Speaker 3: You know, and you know they had that Georgia Tech game that was what it was, but they managed to beat Clemson in.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Miami right for me that was like you know, all right, you kicked off the can almost like going on the road winning at home.
- 10:54Speaker 3: But I think the biggest thing for Miami has been Tyler van Dyke's regression.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think that.
- 11:01Speaker 3: You know.
- 11:01Speaker 3: I think they be coming in here.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Hot top 15 team at least right right.
- 11:06Speaker 1: If they won last week, it would have been a prime-time matchup.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 11:10Speaker 1: They, they want to do this game.
- 11:12Speaker 1: It's gonna draw.
- 11:12Speaker 1: If Miami would have been ranked if they won last week.
- 11:16Speaker 3: So and I'm here like the only thing keeping that from happening has been the quarterback play right.
- 11:22Speaker 1: And you see the talent.
- 11:23Speaker 1: You know this team has a talent to beat you.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 11:26Speaker 1: That's the you know.
- 11:27Speaker 1: But what are they gonna get in their own way?
- 11:29Speaker 1: Or it can Florida State, you know, cause some turnovers, it's gonna.
- 11:34Speaker 1: You know I expect there to be a raucous crowd.
- 11:37Speaker 1: You know FSU is really crowd's gonna be nuts.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Yeah, fsu, the home fans have really come this year and and.
- 11:44Speaker 1: But I think honestly Miami has its best chance here.
- 11:48Speaker 1: For some reason FSU just dominated down there on another level, except for when Diaz.
- 11:54Speaker 1: That was just last year.
- 11:56Speaker 3: But yeah, I mean it, they.
- 11:59Speaker 3: It's just typically the game, and dope, yeah, is the wild one.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Now, you know, the old-school orange bull had some.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Well, yeah, yeah, that's right.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Oh man why?
- 12:10Speaker 1: do you want?
- 12:10Speaker 2: to go with a low blow and bring up the OB.
- 12:12Speaker 1: No, it's a low blow if I was gonna say hey, Virginia, closed you down there and with a shutout but, but when you think about that, I mean there's two wide rights in the OB.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I don't even think about that's that's.
- 12:33Speaker 1: The third, one, third, one baby.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Yeah, that one hurt.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Yeah, it did, because that was kind of like FSU is kind of like Miami is this year.
- 12:40Speaker 1: You know Like they're.
- 12:42Speaker 1: They're not, they're wounded.
- 12:44Speaker 1: They have the talent.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Their Florida states near the top of the rankings, undefeated.
- 12:49Speaker 1: People are expect they're already in the ACC championship.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Of course you know the way you structure the playoffs and everything has changed, but you still have the town like come in, no one thinks you're gonna win and have a lead, and then just have a kick to win it and you miss it.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 13:05Speaker 1: I hope it doesn't come down to anything like that.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I think FSU fans just don't want it to be close.
- 13:10Speaker 2: I'd love it to come down to it.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Well, dude, miami's kicker's got a leg from like 65.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that our kicker is actually a weapon right now.
- 13:20Speaker 2: That's the younger both kickers.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Both kickers good Fitzgerald was has been put up for Lou Groza.
- 13:27Speaker 1: I mean talk about a 180, you know he's only missed one kick all year.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Yeah, shout out to the Lou Groza Foundation for announcing that this week.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Oh yeah, wait a week, right I?
- 13:41Speaker 1: Extra point I'm glad he got the miss out of his way at weight, because if he hadn't missed yet, oh my goodness, can you imagine that would all they be talking about in every, on every play.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Oh well, you know the first field goal he lines up for.
- 13:55Speaker 2: They're gonna do a flashback on TV.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 13:59Speaker 1: I mean it's yes, yes, you have to move on.
- 14:01Speaker 1: I mean maybe they'll show the block at the rock or the muff, you know how's that?
- 14:06Speaker 2: the block at the rock?
- 14:07Speaker 1: Yeah, you know.
- 14:08Speaker 1: So it's not.
- 14:09Speaker 1: It's what they're just not.
- 14:10Speaker 1: As like the dramatic Is the kick missing because it's only on that one kicker.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Then yeah it's like if it's FSU hitting a block when both teams aren't number one and two.
- 14:20Speaker 1: No one's gonna remember that, except for FSU fans.
- 14:24Speaker 1: I always remember that.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Well, this game, man.
- 14:26Speaker 3: And it is just it.
- 14:28Speaker 3: It's gonna be insane.
- 14:29Speaker 3: I don't think anybody's had more recruits at a game All season this year.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Um then, these two teams are bringing it's insane yeah man, it's just as much because Miami's coming to town as anything else.
- 14:41Speaker 3: You know this.
- 14:43Speaker 3: This is the game that Tallahassee just pretty much shuts itself down right, and I have a wedding to go to.
- 14:48Speaker 3: I'm gonna be in Tampa, the hell yeah.
- 14:51Speaker 2: I'm gonna be at my house with my two TV set up.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I will be, I will be watching.
- 14:56Speaker 1: I'm excited.
- 14:58Speaker 1: What do you what?
- 15:01Speaker 1: What do you think if you had to gamble on this game, justin, where you put in your money?
- 15:07Speaker 2: Um, if I'm placing a bet, I bet on the Canes cover.
- 15:11Speaker 2: I think that's a pretty safe bet with a two touchdown spread.
- 15:14Speaker 2: God forbid the money comes in on FSU and you get that hook yeah well, that went down a little bit.
- 15:19Speaker 1: It was it.
- 15:20Speaker 1: There was a hook when it opened and it's gone down a little bit.
- 15:23Speaker 1: It's gone down to 14 and I've seen 13 and a half in a couple spots.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Yeah, at 13 and a half I bet FSU right.
- 15:31Speaker 1: You know, jimmy, he said he's got that same.
- 15:34Speaker 1: He says Florida State wins but and it's like no, not close one.
- 15:38Speaker 1: I think FSU wins by 17.
- 15:42Speaker 1: I think it's gonna be close, but I think in the second half they will get the lead in the fourth quarter on the crowd.
- 15:52Speaker 1: It will start getting dark.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Prime time.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Chris, the ball will panic and make some idiot coaching decisions.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Looking constipated on the sidelines.
- 16:02Speaker 3: I'm gonna go, I'm gonna say the complete opposite man, I'm gonna say, if it's close late in the game, we, we are in some trouble.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Have you seen crystal balls?
- 16:12Speaker 2: Late game coaching I have.
- 16:14Speaker 3: I have, I have.
- 16:15Speaker 1: That's one thing you're taught you're all right, jimmy, take you, got to take everything you saying about this game.
- 16:20Speaker 1: I can feel it.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Yeah, feel the tension feel the enemies nervous already.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Man, it's this game, man it's my hammy.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Yeah, there's nobody every time You're nervous.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Every time you're nervous, just Google image search crystal ball on the side.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Well, what is it?
- 16:35Speaker 2: make you feel better.
- 16:36Speaker 1: I know you don't feel confident, but you will and Miami fans will.
- 16:41Speaker 1: When about three o'clock rolls around, 315 getting close, what is cocky cocky fan Justin?
- 16:49Speaker 1: What's he gonna be saying around that time?
- 16:53Speaker 2: Cocky Cain's fan is gonna be saying that we put 300 up on the ground.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Ah, emory Williams is a breakout star.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Cam kinshens gets two interceptions, james Williams knocks Keon Coleman out of the game on a slant over the middle and Ruben Bain breaks Jordan Travis's collarbone and the Cain's win by three touchdowns.
- 17:14Speaker 3: There you go.
- 17:16Speaker 2: There you go.
- 17:17Speaker 3: No no that's a you wanted cocky.
- 17:19Speaker 1: That's gonna be real.
- 17:20Speaker 1: That's gonna be real and that's what every Cain's fan is like, no matter the way you know what?
- 17:24Speaker 3: that's a lot like scared Jimmy Reno fan.
- 17:27Speaker 3: It's thinking the same thing.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Oh, god damn it.
- 17:30Speaker 3: They're gonna run for 300 yards, they're gonna break Jordan really is.
- 17:35Speaker 2: What's really crazy is that my cocky Cain's fan breakdown right there.
- 17:40Speaker 2: It actually could happen.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Well, yeah, everything could happen, man.
- 17:44Speaker 1: I mean, yes, like we said, there's, miami's got the talent, florida State does too.
- 17:49Speaker 1: I think the resiliency that this Florida State team has shown all year that I don't see that happening.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Not saying that they're gonna, they can't lose this game, but if Miami wins this game, they're gonna play there, they're not gonna turn the ball over and they're gonna play their best game of the year and they're gonna put it all together and it'd be a war, yeah that's the way they yeah, they have to play up to their potential and hope they get Jordan Travis to turn the ball over.
- 18:14Speaker 1: That's the difference.
- 18:15Speaker 1: He's not turning the ball over.
- 18:17Speaker 1: That's what makes him the player that he is now.
- 18:20Speaker 1: That's why he's up for the Heisman.
- 18:21Speaker 1: That's why he's going to be in New York if they went out.
- 18:24Speaker 3: That's why Florida State's been able to win a couple of games that they've Started.
- 18:29Speaker 3: You know the Boston College game.
- 18:31Speaker 1: You can't drop him either.
- 18:32Speaker 1: He's throwing a couple where the other team didn't catch it.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, oh yeah so you can't change, I'll make that catch.
- 18:39Speaker 1: You got it.
- 18:40Speaker 1: You can't take them if they, if they give them to you.
- 18:42Speaker 1: But um, that's been the difference, you know.
- 18:46Speaker 1: I think whoever wins a turn over battle wins the game If I'm Cristobal, would I do all week.
- 18:54Speaker 2: I just show the first half of the pit game and say we need to emulate this.
- 18:59Speaker 2: We need to dominate the line of scrimmage, we need to run the ball, we need to keep FSU's offense off the goddamn field and we need to not turn it over.
- 19:08Speaker 2: If we can do that, we will be in that ball game down the stretch.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:13Speaker 3: And that's what you're asking for, yeah.
- 19:19Speaker 2: I mean this is really funny because like all my diehard FSU fans think I'm a weird Miami fan because I would take the block at the rock.
- 19:30Speaker 2: I would take the TVD spike from a couple of years ago.
- 19:34Speaker 2: I would take those kind of games in a Miami loss over a blowout either way.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Yeah, oh either way, either way, man.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Even a Miami blowout, though, miami blowout at Doke, no way dude, you have a picture right now on your profile of a cane urinating on a Florida state symbol.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Yes, but you know what?
- 19:58Speaker 2: I also turned off the 52 to 10 game halfway through the third quarter.
- 20:02Speaker 1: That's true, yeah, but man.
- 20:06Speaker 3: But that was man.
- 20:07Speaker 3: I didn't turn that off last year.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Give me a close game with my butthole puckered until the end, of course that, of course, because yeah, in history shows it's all going to be dramatically won by Miami, except for I guess you were at the block of the rock.
- 20:22Speaker 2: So I was at the and I was at the TVD spike game here in Doke.
- 20:25Speaker 2: So I've been at two of the Miami losing it at the end games also.
- 20:30Speaker 3: I forgot all about that spike.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Oh, not me, man.
- 20:33Speaker 2: My daughter still, my daughter still complains about it and says that at this you cheated.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Oh well, we got to get on out of here Right here, but man, it's going to be a good one.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Yeah, it is always is It'll be memorable.
- 20:48Speaker 3: I mean I, you know, I don't think there's going to be a bigger game in the southeast in terms of recruits.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Well, if you look at the numbers, man, who are we talking about?
- 20:57Speaker 1: Who's?
- 20:57Speaker 1: Who are some of the big names.
- 20:59Speaker 3: I could run down the list, the biggest one, jeremiah Smith, best player in the country at the high school ranks, wide receiver, committed to Ohio State.
- 21:07Speaker 3: He's Adam Madonna, hollywood Shamanad, down there in Broward County Right now FSU in Miami are battling to be that second place team in his recruitment.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Should Heartline leave Ohio State, that opens up that avenue to sign the kid.
- 21:23Speaker 3: But I mean you start there and you just run down the list of five stars, four stars and you know 25 class, 26 class.
- 21:31Speaker 3: I mean anybody who's anybody in the state of Florida is coming up to watch this game and, like I said, it's not just for Florida State man, miami's got a ton of kids there.
- 21:40Speaker 3: They come here and have eyes on them.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 21:42Speaker 3: It's huge man.
- 21:45Speaker 2: This is.
- 21:45Speaker 2: That's what's really awesome about all these recruits showing up for both teams.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Yeah, is it's not.
- 21:50Speaker 2: It's not just old heads like us that are obsessed with Miami and Florida State.
- 21:54Speaker 2: It looks like the younger kids are getting to get in on.
- 21:57Speaker 3: You, get in Get in on to see what it's all about and it's like whenever this game happens I always just take a little moment to kind of chuckle at Florida Because for some reason they just continue to refuse to try to get into to that kind of game and they just won't play Miami and I just like dude yeah, they're taking shit, yeah.
- 22:15Speaker 3: Yeah, they're more worried about maintaining whatever kind of false sense of superiority they have in the SEC than than actual, you know, showing these kids that like, hey, this is state of Florida football.
- 22:27Speaker 3: Yeah, like it's big time, yeah.
- 22:30Speaker 2: I think I voluntarily live in Tallahassee and you couldn't pay me to live in Gainesville.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Oh God no.
- 22:36Speaker 1: No, well, you know, playing both of them is special.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Florida State you know you can say, hey, we're in the SEC championship, but if you lose to Miami or Florida, there's a lot of people who say it was a failed season.
- 22:51Speaker 3: Oh, man, that's.
- 22:52Speaker 3: That's what's so crazy, dude, is Norvel has got it nine and oh but dude, you have the two biggest fans that if they win this game.
- 22:58Speaker 1: I know they're going to be like success.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Oh yeah, so we'll see how it goes out.
- 23:03Speaker 1: They should man, you know we'll watch it, we'll react to it and we'll talk to you next time, right here on the North Florida sports network.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Let's go, hey, oh no yeah.
- 23:13Speaker 2: We had to go Our ride was here, we got a shuttle.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Go Nulls.
