- 1:18He always does, ladies and gentlemen.
- 1:20Hold him like the boot the boot man, the booty man, the.
- 1:23Booty man. He's the booter.
- 1:24The booter. You had like 3 or 4 of them.
- 1:27He's booting it out as we call the next segment.
- 1:30Dial it up. We interrupt this regularly
- 1:32scheduled time makes to bring an important news book.
- 1:34We got a big broadcast to do here.
- 1:37We're about to dial it up. All right, here we go with.
- 1:45Dial it up a. Lightning.
- 1:47Brown story segment. Errol has not seen these
- 1:50stories. He doesn't want to know him.
- 1:52He wants to see him read them. You want my dial up a take?
- 1:55The first one will pick up where we left off with the sports
- 1:58minute. Oh, it is the great Juan Soto.
- 2:02He's on fire. Yes, Juan Soto, the Mets $768
- 2:07million man. There's been absolute terror
- 2:10since August 1st. Soto tied his career high with
- 2:13six RBIs on Monday with a Grand Slam and a triple.
- 2:16Mother home run and two hits tonight since August 1st and
- 2:20those numbers are even better now. 11 for 26 with 1.446 OPS
- 2:26with runners in scoring position.
- 2:28Start of the season slow. Now he's batting 259.
- 2:32Actually with a 399 and a 520 Something slugging.
- 2:36He is crushing it. Career high 37 homers, 26.
- 2:42I'm sorry, it's 37 homers and a career high 26 stolen bases.
- 2:46The speed coming out of nowhere. Now with the Reds losing, the
- 2:48Mets winning tonight, they have a 5 1/2 game lead for the last
- 2:53wild card spot, Errol. Dial it up.
- 2:57We all know Juan Soto is a great playoff player.
- 3:01There's no question that he's going to go into the playoffs.
- 3:03He's going to go red hot. It's not going to be their
- 3:06lineup. It's going to be their pitching.
- 3:08Are they going to depend on this youth, the tongue or the McClain
- 3:12or any of these guys? That's the question.
- 3:14I think the Mets are going to compete.
- 3:15Obviously they make in the playoffs.
- 3:17We expected them to. Juan Soto, Lindor, Pete Alonso,
- 3:21they're all great. They're they're getting the
- 3:24timely. Any Vientos.
- 3:25She's one of the best dealers in the playoffs last year.
- 3:28I think the Mets are deadly when it comes to the lineup.
- 3:31The question is there pitching staff going to hold up and is
- 3:33there bullpen going to hold up? That's the question.
- 3:36I don't think Juan Soto is going to be the problem as we saw him
- 3:39with the Yankees last year. He took the Yankees against
- 3:41Cleveland right to the the World Series and he was hot in the
- 3:44World Series too. One of only two hitters he that
- 3:47could hit in the World Series, him and Giancarlo.
- 3:49So we know what Juan Soto could do with the in the second-half
- 3:53of the season. We know what he can do in the
- 3:54playoffs. Can the Mets do it with the
- 3:57pitching staff they have? That's the question.
- 4:01Hey, you know, there's an old saying in sports, it's not how
- 4:04you start, it's how you finish. And the fact listen that Juan
- 4:08Soto signed a mat the the biggest contract, you know,
- 4:12comparing comparable to Shohei Otani's.
- 4:15And not only that, he goes to one of the biggest markets, if
- 4:17not the biggest market in sports and has a rough first half, has
- 4:22a rough go and he gets shit on. Everybody's hating them.
- 4:25Speedy. Speedy didn't hate him, though.
- 4:27Speedy still love them, maybe talked a little bit of trash,
- 4:30but still love them because he's a fantastic player.
- 4:33He's a great player. He's going to be he's what?
- 4:35How old is he 24? 2626.
- 4:38Going to be 27. I think he's 20. 626 years old.
- 4:41He's still young, he still hasn't even hit his prime yet.
- 4:44But let him. Let him marinate New York a
- 4:47little bit. Let him get used to what it's
- 4:48like living in New York. And looks what look what
- 4:50happening right now. Like, I'm sure the New York Mets
- 4:52fans are going crazy because Juan Soto's finally playing.
- 4:56And you know what? He's picking the right time to
- 4:58get hot. And you had, you know, Lendor
- 5:01gets crowned, the captain takes a little bit.
- 5:04You know, they probably did that and take a little bit of
- 5:05pressure off of Juan Soto. Now that I think about it,
- 5:10that's a crazy take. But he gets the pressure taken
- 5:12off, allows him to kind of breathe a little bit and now
- 5:15he's playing well. The Mets are poised as as long
- 5:18as they're pitching staff can can pitch their way into a
- 5:22playoff run. I think they're going to be OK.
- 5:25And I think one that is going to have a lot to do about it.
- 5:27There's a reason why they gave him 700 bajillion dollars and
- 5:31right now we're seeing it so goody.
- 5:33Kudos for him. Kudos for him for getting, I'm
- 5:36sure a lot of death threats and a lot of crazy things going at
- 5:40him and it's still be able to go out and perform and do his
- 5:43thing. Goody his stats are very good.
- 5:45It's. Just one of the most things the
- 5:47Mets fans are annoyed with right now is just the clutch stats.
- 5:49But we were thinking that with Pete Alonzo last year.
- 5:51Look what? He did.
- 5:51It's their pitching stamp. That's the most important thing
- 5:54that the Mets are going to have to figure out who's going to go
- 5:57on, who's going to go to. Often offense sells tickets.
- 6:01Defensive picking win games, buddy.
- 6:02Pitching wins championships, as we all know.
- 6:05So that's baseball basically. And the Mets, they got some
- 6:08young pitchers, but are you going to depend on the young
- 6:09guys to go into a series against some of the best hitters in
- 6:12baseball? I don't know we've we've
- 6:14freaking bet on Java and he did all right.
- 6:18Blow my leg young guy at one point.
- 6:21Young guys coming up. Grow, but that's what I'm.
- 6:23Saying. Sometimes it's so crucial, 1 you
- 6:26save the guys in the bullpen, but two, you find out what you
- 6:29got and maybe one of those guys surprised you and then you know
- 6:32what? You got a diamond in the rough
- 6:36and then he pitches your way into the world.
- 6:37Series. I'm not saying that the Mets
- 6:39don't have good young talent. I just you're depending on the
- 6:42young guys to go into a playoff series and outdoor some of the
- 6:47better hitters in baseball. That's a lot of.
- 6:49Yeah, but sometimes those guys, sometimes those guys just come
- 6:52up and they had they're hungry, they're.
- 6:55Not even hungry. They're too stupid to know any
- 6:57better. Because.
- 6:58That was the other thing I was going to say is like, oh, you
- 7:00know what? Like I just pitch.
- 7:02I just go off and pitch like, oh, it wasn't.
- 7:04I wasn't here all year, you know, type of thing.
- 7:05So they don't. Expect anything out of me if I
- 7:08that go and shove and give 5-6 innings.
- 7:10Sweet like yeah and then. You find your way on a playoff
- 7:14roster, find a way on a playoff roster.
- 7:16Next thing you know you're getting a full share.
- 7:18Next thing you know, the next year you break camp and then you
- 7:20boom, your career just goes from all because you had a great
- 7:24playoff. That's just crazy how it works.
- 7:26And you know what? The next one.
- 7:28I'm willing, I'm willing to bet if I'm a Mets fan, I'm not
- 7:31hoping to wish that I'm going to depend on one of these young
- 7:34guys to show up in and actually. I don't know dude, the Mets have
- 7:38a couple dudes that are solid. I was watching some.
- 7:41What's the guy's name? Speediest pictures just going
- 7:43this. McClain is tongue.
- 7:46McClain knows that tongue. McClain.
- 7:48McClain Tongue had just won again tonight, yeah.
- 7:50And tongue had dude, his sweeper, his sweeper is
- 7:53ridiculous. His two seam is ridiculous.
- 7:55He's pitch. I mean, he's, he's.
- 7:57They don't even know what type. Of pitch it.
- 7:59Was when he came up Nick, it was like, is it A2 seamer?
- 8:02Is it is it a cutter or is it something else like they didn't
- 8:04even know? It's ridiculous bro.
- 8:06His stuff, his arsenal, is top of the line.
- 8:10I'm not saying see if he can hold it up going into the
- 8:13playoffs, and I don't know how many innings he did before this
- 8:16point, a lot of pressure, but let's see.
- 8:17It's gonna be very interesting as the Mets.
- 8:19Pressure creates diamond baby. Maybe we get to that Subway
- 8:22Series on the Yankees rally and we all meet again 25 years
- 8:25later. Doubt it.
- 8:26Maybe not. Well, the brothers and Tenta
- 8:29Kupo Errol are back together in Milwaukee.
- 8:33Yes, Thanassis and Teto Kupo signed a one year, $2.9 million
- 8:38deal. Thanassis and Teto Kupo He joins
- 8:43his brother all NBA center Giannis on the Bucks as they
- 8:46play together in the Euro basket tourney for Team Greece.
- 8:49Many NBA insiders believe this move signals Giannis will remain
- 8:53with the Bucks this season after a summer of trade rumors despite
- 8:58the acquisition of the Bucks struggle.
- 9:00We may say Giannis and maybe the Nasus both on the move, but this
- 9:05all but seals the deal that he will start the year with the
- 9:07only NBA team he has ever called home.
- 9:13Means nothing, absolutely nothing.
- 9:16The fact that they brought Giannis brother back to the team
- 9:19only tells me that they're trying to make him happy for a
- 9:23little bit of time. Giannis is going to be available
- 9:26at the trade deadline. The Milwaukee Bucks are not a
- 9:28contender right now. If you look at the Eastern
- 9:31Conference, it really is going to go through New York or or
- 9:34Cleveland. Those are the two top teams
- 9:35right now in Eastern Conference. Boston's going to be fighting
- 9:38injury all season long. They don't have Tatum.
- 9:41They're going to depend on Brown and and some of the weak players
- 9:44that they have on their bench to really pick up the slack with
- 9:47some of the acquisitions that that they lost in the offseason.
- 9:50I I just think right now you look at Giannis, Giannis has a
- 9:54chance to win at least one more, maybe two more championships.
- 9:57It's not going to be what Milwaukee.
- 9:58Milwaukee is an older team, a team that needs to rebuild and
- 10:02need to add some stock of draft picks with this organization
- 10:06that has really nothing to look forward to in the future.
- 10:09Giannis is going to be traded at the trade deadline no matter
- 10:12what. You could book it, you could
- 10:14sell it, you could cook it. He's gone.
- 10:17He's a daughter. Milwaukee's going to be working
- 10:21and twerking with the cheese boys.
- 10:24So that's all I mean. Yeah, pretty much because you're
- 10:26looking at an organization that doesn't have assets to trade.
- 10:29Either and it's. Going to be.
- 10:31Hard. I love Lisa Ann.
- 10:33Giannis happy when it comes to like, trying to get somebody to
- 10:36stay there. His brother, yeah, you bring him
- 10:38in and you want to keep him there, keep him happy for the
- 10:39time being that you're going to be there.
- 10:41But like, he's just easily of a trade piece that could just be
- 10:43added in the deal if you've got a good.
- 10:45Order to the Knicks because that's who was drafted, that's
- 10:47who drafted. I remember that's who drafted
- 10:50him. That's where he's going buddy.
- 10:52That's where he's heading. And by the way, you know where
- 10:54Yannis brothers condo is? New York City so.
- 10:58Let's go. You're making music to my ears,
- 11:00Errol Yannis. Let's go.
- 11:03Yes, that's all it tells me. Yeah, then the the Bucks don't
- 11:05have enough like back end guys to try to make you that kind of
- 11:08thing work even for another trade to keep him appealing.
- 11:10Like okay, yeah, you have your brother there.
- 11:12Like, what other star is out there that you could
- 11:15realistically trade for that You were going to have your the
- 11:17roster to do that. It makes no sense for Milwaukee
- 11:20to think they're going to keep. Him, he is not going to be a
- 11:22Milwaukee bucket at the end of the trade deadline.
- 11:25Trust me. I'm telling you, fans, don't
- 11:28believe anything that you see. Milwaukee is not selling it.
- 11:32There's nothing to smell. The all I'm smelling is dog shit
- 11:36because that's all it's that's all that that anybody's going to
- 11:38buy out of this hole acquisition bringing his brother back.
- 11:42It's dog Boo, Boo. It's dog Doo Doo.
- 11:44It's dog, Boo Boo. Jabba takes it up the ass.
- 11:46As we all know ladies, let's go. I think you need to get rid of
- 11:52that specific drop now. Let's move on.
- 11:56To hockey some puck as USA Hockey is gearing up for the
- 12:012026 Olympics. Yes, the NHL players came to a
- 12:07exhibition last week. First time if they win a gold
- 12:12medal this. Fish is not a panty dropper.
- 12:141980 Miracle on Ice, as you know, historically one of the
- 12:20most important games in the history of all sports where the
- 12:24United States beat the USSR going eventually going to the
- 12:28gold medal. That was actually in the semi
- 12:29finals, but it's one of the most historic games ever.
- 12:32Well, the stakes are extremely high.
- 12:34They've never been higher. Coach Mike Sullivan says these
- 12:37events give us the opportunity to say we feel like the United
- 12:39States is at the pinnacle of the sport.
- 12:41We feel like we are every bit as good if not better than any
- 12:45country that competes in this game.
- 12:46And these events give us the opportunity to prove it.
- 12:49Also, the expectation as an American is that we expect to
- 12:52win. We don't expect to participate.
- 12:55There's a difference, and I think that's what's changed.
- 12:59So general manager of Team USA is actually Bill Garin, former
- 13:04local star. And Bill Garin is reportedly
- 13:08relying upon someone who has a little bit of more time on his
- 13:12hands this year. Errol, it's our boy John
- 13:14Tortorella, who is no longer a head coach in the NHL.
- 13:17He's going to be the head scout for Garen finding members of
- 13:23this Olympic team this year. As you know, the United States
- 13:27held their orientation camp and they're trying to build off of
- 13:29their silver medal performance in the Four Nations face off
- 13:33during last season's All Star break.
- 13:36Errol, dial it on. You know, it's so interesting
- 13:40about the there's a Buffalo Sabre that didn't make the team,
- 13:43and that's Tage Thompson in this, this, what do they call
- 13:48that speeding the Four Nations tournament.
- 13:51Tage Thompson is probably one of the best offensive players right
- 13:55now in the NHL and he didn't make that team for Team USA.
- 13:58Tage Thompson has to make the team this time if they plan to
- 14:01beat Canada and plan to beat Russia, who will be competing in
- 14:06this year's tournament, this this year's Olympic tournament.
- 14:10I I think that obviously Canada is going to be the favorites.
- 14:13The second favorite is going to be Russia.
- 14:16But nevertheless, United States has a tremendous amount of
- 14:19talent. You got the Kuchuk brothers, you
- 14:21got Page Thompson, you got some of the best goalies in the
- 14:24world, two of the best goalies in the world from Team USA.
- 14:27They're going to have to show up and by the way, show up in the
- 14:30big game, which two goal tenders have not done in the playoffs.
- 14:35I want to see both guys show up in the big tournament.
- 14:38I think Team USA is going to be one of the top three teams.
- 14:41I don't think the Czech, the Czech Republic is going to be
- 14:44any better, any better than Team Sweden or Team Finland.
- 14:47There's a lot of talent there, but it's going to be USA, Canada
- 14:51and Russia. Those are the three top teams in
- 14:54the whole wide world and I think resting on John Tortorella to to
- 15:00go and scout, you better be very careful on what you wish for,
- 15:05ladies and gentlemen, I would definitely be wary.
- 15:07Of that because again he's bumped around many different
- 15:09teams with just the reputation of not being able to handle
- 15:12young players and this is mostly going to be a a younger team
- 15:16like it's a speed game now like I even in the Olympics and even
- 15:18in the Olympics that have different ice dimensions that
- 15:21have different different sizes and rules that cater to that
- 15:23kind of game we've said it years ago when we were talking about
- 15:26these these prospects for the Rangers that haven't developed
- 15:28like you look at like the European game just being
- 15:31different for harder play and for smaller players speed
- 15:33oriented guys but that's the European league now so John
- 15:36Tortorella is definitely not the one to make that kind of thing
- 15:38work I agree with you if Russia is like fully abandoned and gets
- 15:41the chemistry. Pace Thompson.
- 15:42Does he make the team he should? He should, why not like you?
- 15:44This was a guy that was a near 50 goal scorer 2 years ago.
- 15:47How does he not make that team? It doesn't make any sense.
- 15:50No sense whatsoever. Absolutely no sense.
- 15:53This guy is a top 3 United States offensive player, right?
- 15:56And he didn't make the team. Yeah, and even the year after
- 15:58that he I think he had 37 goals with like practically entire
- 16:01Buffalo forward core hurt. So this is a guy that easily
- 16:05should make the team as a top six player and.
- 16:08Could be a top three player. Easily And you're right, like
- 16:11you said, the goalies, the expectations are going to be
- 16:13high. We'll see again and think it all
- 16:14the pressure like we saw with like hella buckets in the
- 16:17playoffs slash. How about not to leave Conor
- 16:19McDavid open? Yeah, easier said than done, But
- 16:23yeah, how about that? An overtime game.
- 16:25What a ridiculous, absolutely stupid defensive play.
- 16:29Just gotta say that. Anyways, alright, let's get into
- 16:33my favorite story of the week. Oh yes, Brian Dable names
- 16:38Jackson Dart QB 2 only one away from QB one.
- 16:44The Giants have a lot of momentum.
- 16:47Starting out of the. Preseason after the strong play
- 16:50of the offensive and defensive lines, as well as the best QB
- 16:54play since Eli Manning still had his fastball.
- 16:57Head coach Brian Dabel was keeping his cards close to the
- 17:00vest for Week 1 divisional game versus the Commanders and didn't
- 17:03name Dart as QB 2 until today. Or release the rest of the depth
- 17:08chart, which also has Cordell, Flot and what's my God, Speedy,
- 17:14our first round pick from two years ago, the corner.
- 17:16Dante Banks. And and Tay Banks are rotating
- 17:19at at cornerback 2 opposite Paulson Adibo and Evan Neal will
- 17:23back up Rockville Centre zone Greg Van Roden at guard.
- 17:28But the QB two race was really interesting between the
- 17:31gregarious Jameis Winston and the rookie Jackson Dart after
- 17:36Tommy DeVito was cut and landed on the Patriots.
- 17:41Errol, Are you ready to eat the W?
- 17:44And dial it up Greg Van Scrotum, as we call him.
- 17:50What an absolute joke. You're going to bet on Greg Van
- 17:54Broden to stay healthy all season on that offensive line.
- 17:58Good luck, ladies and gentlemen. I love Jackson Dart.
- 18:01I think he deserves it. He was great.
- 18:03He was sensational in the preseason.
- 18:05I love what I hear about him. I wish he was a Jet.
- 18:08I know he's a Giant. It might be the only thing that
- 18:10saves Shane's job. Stop.
- 18:12Ladies and gentlemen, Dabel I. By the way, all the giant fans
- 18:16on social media trying to compare him to Josh Allen.
- 18:18Stop. He's not Josh Allen.
- 18:20He's not Josh Allen. Stop.
- 18:23Whatever you're smoking, whatever God you're smoking, is
- 18:26it Kush or is it Purple Haze? Something must be jerking on
- 18:31your little raffle Dick. It must be smoking.
- 18:33Because it's not Josh Allen, OK? And I say he's not Josh Allen.
- 18:38Doesn't mean that he's not talented.
- 18:40I like what I see with the kid. I think he's going to be
- 18:42special. I think he's going to be good in
- 18:45the near future for the New York Giants.
- 18:46As far as the Giants winning or doing anything this year, good
- 18:49luck. I mean that that schedule is not
- 18:52easy. And the Giants have to contend
- 18:55with Philadelphia twice and Washington twice.
- 18:57I don't I don't think they stand a chance.
- 18:59And by the way, for all you Giant fans sitting here
- 19:02believing they're going to win 76, I don't even think they win
- 19:06more than five games. The Giants are not good.
- 19:09They have a good defense. I like the front 7.
- 19:11The secondary sucks. And if you're going to sell me
- 19:14that, sell me something else. Sell me a lottery ticket, by the
- 19:18way, which was $1.1 billion. 1.3 Nobody won.
- 19:22There you go, 1.3. So buy yourself a lottery
- 19:25ticket. You might have a better chance
- 19:26with that. So there you go.
- 19:29We know what we don't need him to be Josh Allen.
- 19:32All he has to be is Jackson freaking Dart, because Jackson
- 19:36Dart is the future of the New York football baby.
- 19:41He is electric out on the field. It is amazing.
- 19:45I haven't seen a Giants quarterback with this kind of
- 19:48charisma. I got a better back ever.
- 19:51I don't know, because Eli certainly didn't have charisma
- 19:52like that, you know? But Carrie Collins had some
- 19:56swagger, but he was more quiet and reserved.
- 19:58This dude, he's, he's just balling out.
- 20:00He's running like crazy. He doesn't want to slide.
- 20:03Somebody's having an orgasm. He's got the name, too.
- 20:08He, like he's Dart, is a perfect quarterback name.
- 20:12I'm. Putting you on a leash.
- 20:13Now it's just. So easy for.
- 20:15The lady guys that dart. Sports Center right now, you
- 20:18know, I'm sure they're going to like, oh, look how smart we are
- 20:20dart from dart or. Bullseye, I got to play with my
- 20:23dart. You know that bullseye?
- 20:27You're just that actually sounds like it would hurt a lot, what
- 20:33you're describing. But what's going to hurt a lot
- 20:35is the whooping that the Washington commanders get when
- 20:39the New York Giants and Abdul Carter and big Dexter Lawrence
- 20:43come to town week one, baby. And if Jackson Dart has to get.
- 20:47In there. I trust in Jackson Dart.
- 20:49The only thing you're going to be smelling, and I'll say this
- 20:52Jaden Daniels ass, as I always say.
- 20:54Smell my ass. Smell well, Nathan said.
- 20:57We all know it's your favorite body part.
- 20:59Anyway, moving on. Lot of leash now, a lot of hot
- 21:03ladies. Oh yeah, Lynn Sanity.
- 21:07Finally retired Jeremy. Lynn announced his retirement.
- 21:11Thank God, 20 years, he's a legend.
- 21:14He's 37 years old. He was the MVP and Finals MVP of
- 21:19the brand new Taiwanese. Basketball League.
- 21:22In the first two years of its existence and he led his team to
- 21:25back-to-back championships. We expect no less, no less from
- 21:29Lynn Sanity. Yes, Knicks cult legend.
- 21:32If you were around to watch those games, or maybe like
- 21:36Tommy, you watched them on YouTube because you were seven
- 21:39years old at the time. Lynn is best remembered for the
- 21:42phenom phenomenon of Lynn Sandy in 2012.
- 21:46Going from literally out of nowhere third string point guard
- 21:50on a 10 day contract and put up 20 points in nine out of 10
- 21:54games, most famously winning a couple of games of the buzzer
- 21:58and put up 38 on Kobe draining A3 right in his eye.
- 22:04Didn't really work out. After the Rockets gave him that
- 22:06poison pill contract in Houston, people learned he couldn't
- 22:09really go, couldn't really go left all that well.
- 22:12Once the teams realized that after about 20 games, it wasn't
- 22:15that like he was a killer anymore in the court, but still
- 22:18a legendary. Mario.
- 22:20In New York announced his retirement Errol, I feel like
- 22:24you're going to have some interesting thoughts about
- 22:26linsanity when you. Dial it up.
- 22:31I was waiting for that for Goody.
- 22:33I was just waiting for it. Listen, Jeremy Lynn, for me, he
- 22:40was a sacred person when it came to that, that point guard
- 22:44position when Carmelo Anthony was there.
- 22:46The fact is Jeremy Lin had what, a 2-3 week just stance where he
- 22:51was a superstar player. Carmelo Anthony didn't want him
- 22:54there and and a lot of the coaching staff couldn't stand
- 22:57the fact that Carmelo Anthony was bitching and moaning about
- 23:00him. He went to Houston and after he
- 23:02went to Houston, he took that $40 million contract.
- 23:05He really did nothing. I like Jeremy Lin because he
- 23:08stood for something. He he brought a different
- 23:11international game to the league at the time that I think
- 23:15basketball needed it the most. I think it was great to watch.
- 23:18I think it was fun to watch. Jeremy Lin is not a Hall of
- 23:21Famer. Jeremy Lin really means nothing
- 23:23to the New York Knicks fan except the two or three weeks
- 23:27that he put up those numbers. He did great against Kobe
- 23:30Bryant. Who cares?
- 23:31It was a regular season game. It wasn't anything in the
- 23:34playoffs. And again, to me, it just was a
- 23:37backlash of what Carmel Anthony really was.
- 23:40And that's a bitch because he cried, cried, cried when he was
- 23:44taking the ball and dominating the game and taking the ball out
- 23:47of his hands when he was sitting in the bench.
- 23:49So nothing more than that. He finally retires.
- 23:53I mean, seriously, who was he playing for?
- 23:56Was it China? I didn't.
- 23:57Know he was doing Taiwan, he was in Taiwan playing in the.
- 24:03Finally, he retired. Good luck for him.
- 24:05Good luck to him. I I and honestly, what was even
- 24:09more impressive is where he went to school, where he went to
- 24:11college. And I think that was Yale.
- 24:13I mean, that's Harvard. I'm sorry, Yale, Harvard.
- 24:16I mean, it's incredible that he went to that school and actually
- 24:19came out of that school and, and earned himself an NBA contract.
- 24:22That's about it. The two or three weeks.
- 24:25Sensational. Not very important to me as a
- 24:27Knick fan. I accept.
- 24:29I would like to hear what Carmel, Carmelo Anthony, Carmelo
- 24:33Anthony thought about his retirement.
- 24:35Probably nothing on his show. What is it?
- 24:377th, 7th of Brooklyn or? Something Brooklyn Blvd. or.
- 24:41Something some some crap like that, but by the way, one of the
- 24:44better one of the bigger basketball podcasts right now in
- 24:46the country, so. No, I mean, it's definitely, I
- 24:50mean, like you said too, Jeremy Lin didn't play a lot of games.
- 24:53He only played 35 games. And of course, it seems like
- 24:55it's a lot of fans. You know, it's that run with the
- 24:59Knicks was really stapled on to Jeremy Lin's career.
- 25:02And you know, really everybody remembers him in that Knicks
- 25:04uniform. However, it was only for that
- 25:06little bit of time. You know, it was only a small
- 25:08sporadic amount of time. So I mean, that was really also
- 25:11where you mentioned where Carmelo Anthony and we really
- 25:13saw the pointing fingers. We saw the Stephen A interview
- 25:16years ago where he was like, oh, of course I want to take the
- 25:18lash, really showing that that hatred or that, you know, just
- 25:22hating for German Lynn. So I mean, like you said, wasn't
- 25:26the best player after that Houston stint.
- 25:28You know, that's really where they really kind of saw that he
- 25:30was this flawed point guard and he really couldn't move a lot
- 25:33like the way that he saw in this one.
- 25:35Houston when he started doing like cornrows and like getting
- 25:37all crazy. All that crazy stuff.
- 25:39By the way, could you imagine playing 35 games in your career
- 25:43in the NBA and earning $40 million?
- 25:45I mean, that whoever is his agent, I'd like to meet him.
- 25:48OK, That is an incredible contract, $40 million for 35
- 25:53games. And I half of them, well, 15 of
- 25:56them were with the Knicks or 17 or with, with the Knicks.
- 25:59And that's all he had to do to earn $40 million.
- 26:01A lot of three home run, baby. Who's his agent?
- 26:04I got to find out who's his agent?
- 26:06I got to hire his ass. Got to hire his ass.
- 26:09What a ridiculous story, man. Seriously.
- 26:12Jeremy and retiring guys. Jeremy Lin's retired and that
- 26:17has been. Dial it up for another.
- 26:19Week. The only thing he's dialing is
- 26:22the $40 million that he stole from the Houston Rockets.
- 26:26OK, I mean, seriously. To be fair, they did that to
- 26:29themselves. They offered that contract to
- 26:32steal them away as a restricted free agent and made it so the
- 26:35Knicks couldn't match. And they made the contract so
- 26:37bad that it hurt them financially.
- 26:40It was a, it was a mistake, but they did it to stick it to the
- 26:42Knicks because I think people on the Knicks rubbed.
- 26:46Carmelo Anthony, that's who. I'm thinking the front office.
- 26:49Not so much, Carmelo Anthony learned from the LJ school of
- 26:51crying the the. Carmelo Anthony story is really
- 26:55that, his moaning and bitching, the fact that Jeremy Lin was
- 26:59taking the ball out of his hands and taking the cameras off of
- 27:03him, That's the story. That's the only story to this
- 27:07one. Jeremy Lin stole the spotlight
- 27:11at Madison Square Garden for what, 2 1/2 weeks away from
- 27:14Carmelo Anthony, who was the superstar and the big name for
- 27:18the New York Knicks, who, by the way, got a contract after that,
- 27:21a huge one, which did nothing after that.
- 27:24So I love Carmelo Anthe, I think he's a special player for the
- 27:27New York Knick organization. But what did he win?
- 27:29Absolutely nothing. He couldn't beat.
- 27:31He couldn't even beat Indiana in the in, in a season where if
- 27:35they played, and I do believe this, if they played Miami in
- 27:38the Eastern Conference finals, they beat Miami.
- 27:40They were four no against Miami that year and they were, they
- 27:44outplayed Miami in every kind of way.
- 27:46They matched up very well against Miami, but for some
- 27:49reason, Roy Hibbert was the one that hurt that franchise.
- 27:54Please give me a break. You make me sick.
- 27:58Carmelo Anthony, I would love to hear your excuse from that bull
- 28:01crap. Anyways, ladies and gentlemen,
- 28:04we call the final segment Somebody smells.
- 28:06Somebody definitely smells. What's that smell?
- 28:09Hold up, what is that smell? What's right smell?
- 28:18Wow, you don't see that every day.
- 28:20I want you for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- 28:21You'll. Use that one.
- 28:24In a while. The sad part is some of these
- 28:27drops from Nathan like scare me because I think they probably
- 28:30could be true. They're all true.
- 28:36Nathan might, might or might not have like a dungeon from like
- 28:40Euro trip like behind like a wall in his.
- 28:42House, you wanted to jerk me off.
- 28:44Java, you never answered my question to the private check.
- 28:46Could dude wipes wipe blood off Nathan's blue blazer?
- 28:50Oh, awfully. I don't know.
- 28:52They they do a pretty good job of everything else.
- 28:54I mean that that blood on the blue blazer, though, might have
- 28:59a story of its own, so you might have to like, keep it there.
- 29:01Ever going raw? Blood on the Blue Blazer sounds
- 29:04like a memoir. Ever going wrong in?
- 29:06This book. I'm a little late to the party
- 29:09there, but what what do we got? We he actually has blood on his
- 29:12blazer. No, I don't think so.
- 29:14No, there was a so I. Sucked my indo.
- 29:16Errol has a bunch of new drops in my one of them was blood so
- 29:20somehow we got and we played jobless dude wipes drop so I was
- 29:23asking. Want to lunge inside?
- 29:24I was asking Jabba. If if dude wipes could wipe off
- 29:27blood, then I challenged him again with could do wipes like
- 29:29blood off Nathan's blue place. Anyone that blood?
- 29:33That blood drop is actually not new.
- 29:34It was from an old Yeah, that one.
- 29:36That one I want to pull jobless panties down.
- 29:40Yeah. Where did that?
- 29:41Where did that come from? That was crazy.
- 29:45Like that, I don't know this stuff, just just.
- 29:47Wait till Arrow learns AI too, you know what I mean?
- 29:49Like. They they ride in the car
- 29:51together, so I'm sure Arrow's just, you know.
- 29:54Recording him. He he has.
- 29:56You can kind of hear a car in the.
- 29:57Back do that, yeah. He can clean themselves.
- 29:59You can kind of hear the car too.
- 30:01Background. It's a one party consent
- 30:03benefits all the problem. That sucked.
- 30:06For Speedy after the ride in the car with Errol.
- 30:09Goody do not teach them any of your AIS.
- 30:11Let. Me tell you something, riding
- 30:12with me is fun. It's definitely interesting.
- 30:16I I definitely crack people up. Anybody that goes on a nice
- 30:20little tour, if I go to Connecticut or if I'm going to
- 30:23Massachusetts, you can ask Brittany.
- 30:25I am one of the craziest people when it comes to driving that
- 30:28distance and doing the craziest things.
- 30:31We stop. OK, So who's ever driven to
- 30:34Massachusetts? OK, now it is.
- 30:37So they have these truck stops and they have like these pizza
- 30:41places and subway places. So every single time she has to
- 30:45go to the bathroom, every like, like I would say about 50 miles,
- 30:48she's got to go to the bathroom. So every time I stop, I go and
- 30:52I'm asking people silly questions and they answer and I
- 30:55record it and I use it for that. Speedy knows what I do.
- 30:59I do it all the time and and she tells me that there's something
- 31:03messed up about you. And then she she watches me do
- 31:07it and she says, I'm going in the car.
- 31:09I don't even want to be next. You're you're a weirdo.
- 31:11I'll, I'll ask these old ladies, I'll knock on their windows.
- 31:15I'll ask him silly questions and they'll sit there and say, who
- 31:17are you? Where are you from?
- 31:19You got to be from New York anyways.
- 31:24All right, more glazed Donuts. I like glazed Donuts too.
- 31:27Anyways, so if anybody has not listened to this segment, it's
- 31:31pretty simple. We're going to tell you a story
- 31:33or we're going to give you a story that's happening.
- 31:35Something in either sports or something that we don't like and
- 31:39we're going to tell you or we do like and we're going to tell you
- 31:42what it smells like. So right now, we're going to go
- 31:45fish poops, Speedy, Jabba. Goody me.
- 31:52We ready. We ready, Jabba.
- 31:54I saw that look. It didn't look.
- 31:56He didn't look like he was very happy about that.
- 31:59Yeah, I don't care. I got, I got mine.
- 32:00I'm ready to go. I got 1.
- 32:03I am going to start where we started tonight with the great
- 32:08Jerry Jones and the agent for Micah Parsons, David Mulugueta.
- 32:16But here's the thing, Errol, that's how you're not talking
- 32:18about Micah Parsons. And Errol, I did sound it out
- 32:22phonetically for you to say it right.
- 32:25Screw you. OK, screw.
- 32:29You guess who else he's the agent for?
- 32:30They're. On Bland.
- 32:34Troy Aikman. Better, better.
- 32:36Recently acquired George Pickens, yes.
- 32:40So now the Cowboys with their biggest acquisition, with them
- 32:44going all in this offseason yet again, is the has an agent of
- 32:50the guy that was just disrespected so badly that they
- 32:53got rid of him off the team. I don't.
- 32:56Care. Jerrys got just great karma
- 32:58going for him. He's just such a legendary
- 33:01owner. This makes all the sense in the
- 33:03world, but you know what it smells like to me?
- 33:06It smells like 1000 rotting skunks spraying their skunky
- 33:11perfume all over Jerry's world. That is a place that dogs should
- 33:17stay away from too. He did get sprayed by a 99% of
- 33:19the world would too. Well, all right then.
- 33:23That's impressive all. Right.
- 33:25Well, enough about Speedy's dog, but I'm actually keep it in the
- 33:29NFL and in the same division too, over in the NFC East
- 33:33because Saquon Barkley was just named as the number one out of
- 33:38top 100 NFL players. The man that just won Offensive
- 33:43Player of the Year. The man that just got put on the
- 33:46Madden 26 cover with one of the coolest background covers of
- 33:49all. This man is.
- 33:50The man is just absolutely the one of the reasons why the
- 33:53Eagles even went to the Super Bowl.
- 33:55And it makes me miss somewhat our former Eagles interns, Jake
- 33:58and Zach, because I know they would have been all into this
- 34:00chat with amazing how how much they love that Saquon Barkley
- 34:04was the number one player at the top 100.
- 34:06And I have to say, I can't. I couldn't disagree anymore or I
- 34:09couldn't agree anymore with the fact that Saquon Barkley was
- 34:13absolutely electric, one of the best, one of the most clutch
- 34:17players in all of last year, the best offensive player hands
- 34:20down. And it just pains me that he's
- 34:22doing it in that damn Eagles jersey.
- 34:25So what does it smell like? It smells like some of those
- 34:29skunks as well as Joe Shane that Mister Fisher was mayor was
- 34:33mentioning some of those skunks and Joe Shane sitting on top of
- 34:39a of on top of a cheese, a cheese steak that Big Dom just
- 34:43decide to crush over there on the Eagle sideline.
- 34:46So there we go. I don't care.
- 34:49By the way, Joe Shane's son lighting it up at quarterback
- 34:52for Don Bosco Prep, where Tommy Cutlets came from, won a state
- 34:57championship, baby. Oh, the same one that was
- 34:59telling who to draft in the in the Hard Knocks, huh?
- 35:01I don't. Know what he's the smartest of
- 35:03the Shane's he. Was what did.
- 35:05He have tried. He wanted Jane Daniels.
- 35:08He. Did want Jane Daniels?
- 35:10Yeah. All right, so I'll shift, I'll
- 35:13shift to some college football here.
- 35:15So I'm going to take shots that I know it's Brian Snow School.
- 35:17So Brian, I know you're a fan of them, but it was a bad gesture
- 35:20for Northwestern. What they did not letting Tulane
- 35:24wear their white uniforms honor in the 20th anniversary of
- 35:27Hurricane Katrina. The victims of Hurricane
- 35:29Katrina, which is the white jerseys that they wore in their
- 35:32first game back that season. Northwestern decide to block it
- 35:36for whatever reason. I know you only have 12 games on
- 35:38a college football schedule. There's another rotation of
- 35:41times you can wear white jerseys in your season.
- 35:44It wasn't hard for you to let Tulane wear the white jerseys
- 35:48and take your purple ones or your alternates for one game.
- 35:51Let them have. I'm not doing any freaking time.
- 35:53Honor one of probably the five biggest like tragedies we've had
- 35:57in the in the in the country in. This century.
- 36:00And you're not going to let them monitor their victims absolutely
- 36:02cracking. Daily.
- 36:03Lives by Northwestern. So what does that smell like?
- 36:05It smells like Northwestern alum Hugh Hefner sucking the heads of
- 36:1120 year old crawfish. Why would I want to pull jobless
- 36:15panties down? Mr. Hugh Hefner.
- 36:17Yeah, Northwestern alum. Rest.
- 36:21In peace buddy, I knew you'd like the sucking the heads
- 36:23reference it. Can wait.
- 36:24But. Anyone.
- 36:34Oh yeah, All right, I am going to go with a brilliant,
- 36:40brilliant mind in Abdul Carter. The AT symbol became his
- 36:45official signature for his rookie trading card.
- 36:48And y'all might wonder like, what's that smell?
- 36:51It smells like he's a genius, and it smells like a lot of easy
- 36:55greenbacks. I'll let you lick my butt
- 36:57because if you don't know this, we get paid like per autograph.
- 37:01So he can get through more autographs than any of us can
- 37:04get through with the at symbol. And literally he's he's been
- 37:09getting so much like, I guess backlash because they're like,
- 37:13oh, it's terrible, but it it makes sense.
- 37:16It makes sense to me. And when you happen to sit and
- 37:20literally look at these stickers that are going to go on your
- 37:22cards, your eyes start playing tricks with you when you're
- 37:25trying to sign your name. And now he's just got it.
- 37:29Oh, it's how many goody, how many times did you forget like a
- 37:32like a whole line just because your eyes like you?
- 37:35This makes my pecker hard. I did.
- 37:38I was just in Cleveland and I I signed probably, I don't know,
- 37:43400 pictures of myself. I might have some around here
- 37:46and like after like 50 or just like you sure you really want
- 37:50this or you just like. Yeah.
- 37:53And then it then it just. Goes like from this to like this
- 37:56to Yep. What is that?
- 37:58And now? And now he can.
- 38:00He can get them done faster. He can do more of them.
- 38:03You know what that smells like? The rich get richer and it
- 38:07smells like the good old greenbacks.
- 38:09Smells like bread. He tastes himself fresh.
- 38:13Fresh cooked loaf. Hell.
- 38:15Yeah, I gave like. Foodie there.
- 38:17I'm not doing one on sports, but.
- 38:20Pulled it out of my shocker. Is it a conspiracy theory?
- 38:25This makes my pecker hard. Custom officials in Europe
- 38:29detained a pigeon wearing a tiny laminated passport labeled Dutch
- 38:34Sky Courier. The bird turned out to be
- 38:38unharmed and the passport a novelty prank or art gag.
- 38:45I don't know if you guys think birds are spying on us, but
- 38:51yeah, this. Here it is.
- 38:53I knew some conspiracy would come.
- 38:54In this I knew it was. What one of the earliest forms
- 39:00of media though? Are you telling me winter is
- 39:03coming or something like that with the Ravens?
- 39:06This smells like some espionage going on.
- 39:09This is some Spy Michigan bullshit.
- 39:12Watch you. Hey everybody, better have an
- 39:14umbrella out there in Michigan because the pigeons are coming
- 39:17from Europe to steal them. Signs baby.
- 39:19So you better watch out. The Tigers are hot.
- 39:23Goody, what you're saying is if they're stealing signs, the
- 39:25Houston Astros are going to hire them.
- 39:28The pigeons, hey, they're all spying on US 24/7.
