- 1:00Speaker 2: accomplish what they have.
- 1:01Speaker 1: And we don't have to put that on the mountain.
- 1:03Speaker 3: No, we could just put that on the side of
- 1:05Speaker 3: a hill.
- 1:09Speaker 1: He'll more. All right, glad you got that out of
- 1:14Speaker 1: the way off their legends remark.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know, man, I guess uh it's talking
- 1:32Speaker 3: about something yesterday.
- 1:35Speaker 1: M h and uh.
- 1:37Speaker 3: I hear so many women say this, it's hard to
- 1:42Speaker 3: find a good man out there because men have changed.
- 1:46Speaker 3: You want you want to know what it is about men.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Men will do whatever they are allowed to do, nothing more,
- 1:58Speaker 3: nothing less. A lot of times, ladies, some of this
- 2:03Speaker 3: stuff you allow to happen to yourself, and you don't
- 2:09Speaker 3: have to. You don't have to. Now here's the truth
- 2:14Speaker 3: of the matter. Oftentimes, this younger generation, and look, I'm
- 2:21Speaker 3: not talking about all, but sometimes in this younger generation,
- 2:25Speaker 3: they suffer from the fact that they didn't have the
- 2:27Speaker 3: role model. They suffer from the fact that they didn't
- 2:30Speaker 3: have the male figure to look up to. They suffer
- 2:34Speaker 3: from the fact that they didn't have the proper guidance
- 2:37Speaker 3: from men.
- 2:38Speaker 1: And I know that because I have camps full of them.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Every single year, and I watch these young boys struggle
- 2:45Speaker 3: with just very very simple complexities of manhood because they've
- 2:50Speaker 3: never heard it. I am sitting up there sharing with
- 2:53Speaker 3: them some things about manhood that they have never heard before,
- 2:58Speaker 3: that they have no cond They be just as look,
- 3:01Speaker 3: they be looking just as bewildered. Mister Harvey, what did
- 3:05Speaker 3: you say why we got to do that because that
- 3:09Speaker 3: is the expectation of men, and sometimes they just aren't
- 3:13Speaker 3: taught that. And a lot of women are suffering today
- 3:17Speaker 3: because of the lack of male preparation that a lot
- 3:20Speaker 3: of young men have gone through. Well, the rules of
- 3:24Speaker 3: manhood have not changed. We are natural born protectors, natural
- 3:31Speaker 3: born providers. Those two things are essential to your role
- 3:36Speaker 3: as a man. Stop stop stop rationalizing that a way
- 3:43Speaker 3: with this new fangled thought, a woman got to bring
- 3:46Speaker 3: something to the table. I ain't taking care of no woman, Okay,
- 3:49Speaker 3: why not?
- 3:51Speaker 1: Why not? You want her to take care of you,
- 3:55Speaker 1: So why not.
- 3:57Speaker 3: You want a woman to do all the wifely duties,
- 4:00Speaker 3: then you got to do all the manly duties. You
- 4:03Speaker 3: want a woman to be there for you, support you,
- 4:05Speaker 3: love you, be loyal to you, fix you up at night,
- 4:10Speaker 3: give you the things you need to get patched up
- 4:12Speaker 3: to go back out there, to go to water next day.
- 4:15Speaker 3: That's a cost factor for that. What you gonna do?
- 4:19Speaker 3: You want a family? You want a son, You want
- 4:21Speaker 3: a boy, look just like you all that. You want
- 4:23Speaker 3: a daughter, you wanna be the head of a family. Okay,
- 4:26Speaker 3: that come with a cost factor, Partner, You don't get
- 4:30Speaker 3: off from these things called manhood, and you don't get
- 4:33Speaker 3: free from them because you don't know them. That's the
- 4:36Speaker 3: other cold part. You are not free from the duties
- 4:39Speaker 3: and obligations of manhood just because you don't know them.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance comes from Ignorance comes with costs.
- 4:53Speaker 3: I remember one time I was speeding through a school zone.
- 4:55Speaker 3: It was a truck parked in front of the blinking
- 4:58Speaker 3: schools sign and I never saw the sign. And I
- 5:00Speaker 3: promise you I didn't, else I would have slowed down
- 5:02Speaker 3: because I have children. Well, I blew through this thing.
- 5:05Speaker 3: I was doing forty miles an hour. The police pulled
- 5:07Speaker 3: me over and he said, you didn't see that sign.
- 5:11Speaker 3: I said, no, sir, I didn't, he said, he pointed
- 5:14Speaker 3: to the sign to sign is right back there. I said, sir,
- 5:17Speaker 3: you see that truck right there. When I was driving,
- 5:20Speaker 3: the truck must have been in the way and I
- 5:21Speaker 3: didn't see it. He said, you were still speeding through
- 5:25Speaker 3: a school's on. I still got the ticket. Just because
- 5:29Speaker 3: you didn't see it. You can't claim ignorance. You broke
- 5:31Speaker 3: the law. It's a consequence for that. It's a consequence
- 5:34Speaker 3: for it's a consequence for not being a proper man.
- 5:38Speaker 3: But ladies, hold these men accountable. Stop lowering your standards
- 5:42Speaker 3: because you can't meet nobody that's got them. Well, Steve,
- 5:45Speaker 3: if I do that, I'll be by myself. Okay, Then
- 5:51Speaker 3: lower your standards and get with somebody that ain't gonna
- 5:55Speaker 3: hold up the end of the bargain and let me
- 5:57Speaker 3: know how that works out for you. Stop allowing men
- 6:04Speaker 3: to come into your life and not be the man
- 6:07Speaker 3: you need.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Just stop.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Stop align it, and I'll tell you something else to
- 6:13Speaker 3: Men can be trained how to treat you. If you
- 6:16Speaker 3: tell a man these are the requirements to have me
- 6:18Speaker 3: if he wants you, guess what he gonna rise to
- 6:20Speaker 3: the level. I'm sorry, that's just the way I was raised.
- 6:24Speaker 3: I know that sounds old and old fashioned, but some
- 6:28Speaker 3: things don't ever go out of style, and being a
- 6:30Speaker 3: man ain't gonna ever go out of style for me,
- 6:33Speaker 3: And I'm not changing their own rules up. Just coach
- 6:36Speaker 3: you don't want to be yours, Hang in their brothers
- 6:39Speaker 3: to be honest.
