  sweet name Mack Truck. All right, well Friday night I

  said QuickTime and won the heat and finished 9th in the A Main.

  Then last night we rolled on down the I-55 Federated Auto

  Parts Raceway. Great night lots of energy, lots

  of cars and I finished second in the A main We didn't qualify.

  What we do is we draw we line up.

  I started fourth run second in the heat and we run second last

  night. So it was a good run for the

  mobile 1 dirt car and by God that I tell you, you all are

  awesome. You have wiped us out of coffee

  mugs. We got another order in.

  My kids have been downstairs for the last three days, packing

  orders back and forth, the FedEx.

  This Cletus MacFarlane, it makes me think every time we do Herm

  and Schrader, Schrader says, let me guess, we're going to talk

  about Cletus. I said, well, he's in the news.

  Schrader, you know, NASCAR said that Cletus didn't have enough

  experience to run the O'Reilly Auto Parts race at Talladega.

  So Cletus took it graciously. He got on social media, he made

  a post, a video. He said, guys, NASCAR didn't

  approve me. He said it sucks, but you know,

  I'll just run the ARCA race at Talladega.

  And boy, did he. I don't know if any of you

  watched it yesterday, but Cletus McFarlane, he was coming off at

  Turn 4 and tied and then took the lead and they got past it to

  checkered flag and Cletus finished second in the ARCA

  race. So in some strange way, in my

  opinion, you know, Cletus and I are friends now.

  I went down there and I went to Bradenton, I went to the Freedom

  Factory and I run forth in the Crown Victoria race and then

  course Cletus took me in his 1000 horsepower Cadillac and we

  did some drifting. And man, that guy, like I said,

  he's got a lot of talent. Just because he's getting
• 3:26
  started in NASCAR don't mean this.

  I'm going to tell you what, this guy's got a lot of talent.

  When I seen his car control, what he can do with different

  vehicles, I mean, he flies, he flies a jet, he flies airplanes,

  he flies helicopters. Think about it.

  Think about the talent level it takes to do anything.

  He will. He will get it to where NASCAR

  says, OK, Cletus and he's well on his way.

  So let's go through yesterday's events.

  Cletus shows up and by the way, Jason Kelsey, the NFL superstar,

  he was there as a helping hand a can of gas over the wall with

  Corey Day and Corey Day wins the O'Reilly Auto Parts race.

  So Jason Kelsey, the brother of Travis, you know, Travis Kelsey

  going to marry Taylor Swift. So they got a podcast.

  Jason Kelsey has a podcast over 3,000,000 followers.

  So NASCAR had a hell of a weekend.

  Cletus has over right at 5 million followers.

  Then you have a whole never another genre of people with,

  you know, Jason Kelsey 3,000,000.

  So if I'm Madden 5 million for Cletus and then three for Jason

  Kelsey. That's 8 million people that are

  either Cletus fans or football fans.

  That my friends, is how you kick start the sport.

  You get people that you know wouldn't be racing fans, you get

  them there and man, that they tell you what, that Jason

  Kelsey, that's a big son bitch. Holy moly.

  But it sure was exciting for me to see some of the videos and

  the pictures of Jason Kelsey. He took it very seriously.

  They put that can of gas in and and he's a strong man.

  He handed the other can of gas over to Corey Days Fueler.

  So that was big. It was big because it put people

  that love the NFL put their eyes on that and the NFL, you know,

  that will ricochet throughout people that don't know nothing

  about NASCAR. Cletus back to Cletus.

  Cletus showed us all how to take disappointment and grace and

  dignity and and come out on top. So I think this is better for

  Cletus because it in my opinion, when you get to the O'Reilly

  auto parts, these guys are good. I mean, you look at Corey Day,

  you look at Justin Allgar, you look at some of these racers

  that you might not know about, but these guys have won a lot of

  races on the even lower levels. But you know, I don't buy that.

  When people say lower levels, I'm like, go down there and

  race. For example, Dale Junior goes to

  Nashville. He's going to run the Cars Tour
• 6:49
  series. Hell, he's sitting there running
• 6:52
  15th all night long. Anything you do outside of what

  you do. So if you're good at one thing,

  you go, I'm going to go over here.

  Well, it ain't easy because these guys are good.

  It still goes back to what Dale Earnhardt senior taught me.

  There's thousands of great race car drivers all over America.

  Just because they're not NASCAR don't mean they're not great.

  However, and this is me, whenever you change your lane,

  be careful. You'll get your ass busted

  because these guys are good. So when you go to the O'Reilly

  Auto Parts Racing Series in NASCAR, there's a lot of great

  racers there. That's why I think this is going

  to turn out better for Cletus because Cletus is in the ARCA

  series right now where there's talent, there's good talent, but
• 7:44
  they not as good as the O'Reilly auto parts series.

  Now there I said it and I'm not going to apologize.

  The Arca series doesn't have the talent right now.

  Now they can accomplish, accomplish the ARCA series, then

  get, you know, accomplished ARCA series didn't get to O'Reilly

  and that's what Cletus is doing so close to a win.

  Cletus, you finished second and what you did after the race was

  so awesome. He stood on top of the car and

  the fans roared. I mean, when Cletus took the

  lead in the race, you would have thought it was Dale Senior back

  in the day. The crowd roared.

  I saw the video. All right, everybody, we got a

  lot, lot to do. Monday and Tuesday going to be

  busy because Wednesday morning Kim and I take off to San

  Francisco. We're going out there to Sonoma

  Raceway, San Francisco and Sonoma Wine Valley.

  We're going to stay out there Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and

  then Saturday morning the Kyle Petty Charity Ride takes off.
