Transcript
- 0:49[SPEAKER_07]: From sluggle, umbridge, knit a gastrodect in grile and grim, by him the cursed kings of glory day, seem away less dim.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_07]: Seek the myths.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_07]: Your own voice echoes in your head, taking that first line of the oath.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_07]: Seek the myths.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_07]: Seek the myths.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_07]: seek the myths, but what happens when the myth seeks you?
- 1:28[SPEAKER_07]: The ogre is not subtle in his approach, despite the thick blanket of snow on the ground his heavy footfalls are what you hear first.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_07]: As the light from your fire hits the looming creature, you're able to take in his full size.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_07]: Standing 25 feet high and 15 feet wide, where you cloak of mud and a crown of dried and desiccated eyes, plucked from human and beast alike.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, my God.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_07]: Smiles wide.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_02]: Good evening, little ones.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry to interrupt.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_02]: You wouldn't happen to be nights.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_02]: What do you?
- 2:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, we're four nights.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_04]: Four nights as dumped by the cosmic night, and I'll see you.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, wonderful.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_02]: And which of you is the greatest?
- 2:32[SPEAKER_08]: It's not me.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_08]: It is a trap to not answer.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_02]: Stay behind me.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I think you'll do nicely.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_07]: And reaches a person-sized hand to grabs Sir Bramwin, putting us into combat.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, wow.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_07]: No.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_07]: a reminder that you all as player characters act first in any order you would like, and you can discuss your strategy before acting.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_07]: The ogre will go after you, McDall and Nadia, your two compatriots that you found trudging through the snow, are currently frozen in fear.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_08]: That makes sense.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_05]: but they do have, they do have the ability to smite or deny or smite.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_07]: They've got one each right.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_07]: With their weavers needles, they have one, they can do one of those things once each of them.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_08]: Thank you, Pasco.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yay, I'm helping.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_01]: That's the last time this will come.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_04]: You too, get behind me.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_04]: Stay back.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_03]: What would you like to do?
- 3:41[SPEAKER_03]: Is it something grabbed that unlucky move that makes you move first?
- 3:45[SPEAKER_03]: If that's cool, everyone.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_03]: That's really cool.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_03]: My side is princess sense.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_03]: Her drive being dragged behind her is this sled of the crates on it.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_03]: And with this practice speed and unnatural ease, I lift the crates up so they're setting up a vertical zone.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_03]: Just about to all of them, I am.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_03]: Cool it over.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_03]: and drag away this blanket of fur from a cute feeling what's inside this statue of basalt black basalt with cracks of gold for it as a statue of a nightly woman.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_03]: And I grab it with a one arm, pull it out of the crates and I'm going to be swing with as like I was singing a baseball bat at the hand coming my way.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_08]: I couldn't even out of my mind make a weapon that I think is more better.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_03]: I was legit because Brian put me out on it.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_03]: I was fully watching Trygun when this came to mind.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_03]: Wait a second.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_05]: I could use this.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_05]: My question is, how are you, because it's a statue of a part like a full body statue?
- 4:51[SPEAKER_05]: For about a person, yeah.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_05]: How are you holding the statue?
- 4:54[SPEAKER_05]: Like, are you holding it by its ankles?
- 4:56[SPEAKER_05]: Are you like grabbing onto a hand?
- 4:57[SPEAKER_05]: Like, what's the maneuverability of the statue?
- 5:01[SPEAKER_03]: When I pull it out of the crate, it's like by the waist, I guess.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_03]: I think when I swing it, it depends on how close the person is.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_03]: I'm swingin' it at.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, maybe sometimes I'm swingin' it by the waist or something about an ankle.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_03]: I think never buy the neck because that's like the thinnest part of the body.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's like a beautiful dance.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, it's like a very, very practice dance sort of thing.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_03]: Like you never stop some moving on my body.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's like the important thing.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_06]: I've got to imagine that like there's a pose for the statue and like there's a bunch of different ways you can be like, you know, it's almost like different fighting forms like loop the arm That's so great.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_07]: That's fucking sick.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_07]: Drag you are using your main weapon, which I believe is a 2D 10.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's insane.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_07]: So the way combat works in mythic bastion land is that all combat ends that are going after the same target roll their dice at the same time So is anyone else attacking right now if you're doing something else you don't have to roll yet, but if you're also attacking You're gonna put your dice in with with Sir Brandland, tell you
- 6:06[SPEAKER_08]: Serbruscant is absolutely also attacking.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_07]: Great.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_07]: What are you using?
- 6:10[SPEAKER_08]: I have three javillins.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_08]: I'm going to use one of them, which is just one D6, but I do think Seruscant is currently standing behind Serbruscant as instructed, you know, and so they are going to use y'all throwing up it.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_03]: And I think I'm going to immediately use a feet here.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_03]: I saw you out of the night.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_03]: See, I did an extra D12 to my bicycle.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_08]: Wait, that feels wise.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_07]: So you're using Smite to add a D12.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_07]: Andrew your past score.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_07]: Are you getting in on this attack?
- 6:41[SPEAKER_01]: I am going to go to the two.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: Not yet and was it McDowell.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to go to them.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_07]: You go to them.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_07]: So we'll resolve that after this attack.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_07]: Andrew, are you attacking or doing something else?
- 6:53[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, Andrey is very much following subranements of Ruskin as being like the two kind of more experienced nights, and also Syredri has never been the fight, and this is top tier myth you're fighting an ogre, and he's also never been in a fight, so doesn't know the manner in which it should maybe be scared of a 25 foot 15 foot wide ogre.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_05]: And so it's tacky with his bulky sarm, which has long melee, which is a D10.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_07]: And the long tag means that you must use both hands, and it would be impaired if you're in a confined environment, but since we're out in the open, you are all good.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_07]: So, take your weapon die.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_07]: If you are using smite, which is one of the three feeds all nights, can do at a D12 to that, and then everybody roll your dice.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_08]: Wait, I have a quick question about smite.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, hit me.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_08]: It says that it's your adding D12 or Blast to a melee attack.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_08]: I guess a Javelin is not a melee attack or... Oh, Javelin would be a melee attack, yeah, yeah.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_08]: What is melee?
- 7:50[SPEAKER_07]: The melee is like physical swinging of a weapon.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_07]: Are you throwing it?
- 7:54[SPEAKER_08]: I am throwing it.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, okay.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_08]: Because if I cannot hide my, I'd love to hide this over.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_05]: I think you gotta get up in there if you want to.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_08]: I'm smart.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_08]: Then I think Ruskin...
- 8:04[SPEAKER_05]: I think that's true.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_08]: For this first one is just throwing it.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_05]: And Sir Andrew will also use a smile.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, great.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_07]: Everybody roll your dice.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_07]: Brandon, let me know what your results were.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I wrote a five, eight, and a 12.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_07]: Five, eight, eight, 12.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_08]: Dale, amazing.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_07]: Ruskin, what'd you roll?
- 8:26[SPEAKER_08]: I rolled 1, D6 and I got a five, which ain't too bad.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_07]: Ain't too shab, ain't too shab, ain't too shab, ain't too shab, ain't too shab, ain't too shab, and then, uh, entry.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_07]: I got a 10 to four, a 10 and a four.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_07]: So 12 from brand one is going to be our highest die.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_07]: That's going to be our damaged die, which is barking huge.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_07]: But you guys have a bunch of other dice in there.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_07]: If you have any that are four or higher, you can spend those dice to perform a gambit.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_07]: So gambits can do a number of things.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_07]: I think the list is on your character sheets, but you might bolster.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_07]: adding a damage to the attack, move, you can move away from the foe after attacking, repel, push a foe away from you, stop a foe for moving next turn, impair a weapon that the foe is holding on their next turn, trap a shield, which this foe does not have, dismount to foe, which is not relevant here, or any other effect of like a similar impact.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_07]: So if you wanted to like pitch me a custom gambit, we could probably figure something out too.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_08]: And is the gambit for, like, if I wanted my gambit to be moved after the attack, or is that for me, or is that for the group?
- 9:28[SPEAKER_07]: That's for you.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_08]: OK, cool.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I think Ruskin would want to move.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_08]: So because we're right now kind of in a cluster and my guess is that Oger's get a little stompy.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_08]: Like, I don't think we should be in one tight group.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_03]: What do you mean, something?
- 9:47[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, I guess they got the Vino V5 foe smash as much as breast skin likes to pretend that they know everything They don't So Andrew's gonna look behind them and see that Sir Pasco is with McDonald and Nadia and it's gonna use his for for a gambit stop to stop the foe from moving next turn
- 10:06[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, great.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_07]: The foe on anything other than bolster and move gets a vigor save, which I will make.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_03]: I would actually respond to that.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_03]: I want to use my eight for strong gambit.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_08]: Hell yeah.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_03]: No save is granted to the target.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_08]: Yes.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, I'm being very good.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, so if you have a die of eight or higher, you can perform a strong gambit, which Brannwyn is doing.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_07]: So Brannwyn is preventing the over for making a save.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_07]: So you will be able to use stops or entry without a save.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, and I've got a 10 as well.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_05]: Because I'm looking at the other like strong gambit.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_05]: There's no save, which Sir Brannwyn's already done.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_05]: And there's greater effects, such as disarming an item, breaking a wooden shield or weapon or moving a helm.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_05]: This does not increase the damage from bolster.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_05]: Can I use that 10 to like, I don't even know what I want to do with that 10.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_05]: Good.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_05]: If you can't do anything greater.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_05]: You know what?
- 10:59[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_05]: I'm just going to use that as a normal game.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_05]: I'll just use it as a bolster to add plus one.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_05]: Great.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_05]: Any other gambits?
- 11:04[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_03]: I would like to use Mike.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_03]: I use my five for a pair of weapon on the next turn.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_03]: I like to impair.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, great.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_03]: I'm receiving that bad hand.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_03]: So I like to make it a little bit less hard as they reach for me right now.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_05]: Hell yeah, could I use my tent to make sure that there's no save for that in pair.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah, great.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, so now you're canceling out both saves.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_07]: Hell yeah.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_06]: Hell yeah, this is a great server and when sir entry moment of like both of us are doing a thing and the other one is like assisting.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, this is a Ruskin is amazed that this group is coming together as cohesively as it is.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_08]: I'm gonna eat my hat.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_03]: I know I'm legally a medium death after that.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_06]: I will say, I am really worried about we just wrote a lot of dice and it feels like we're doing really well and Elliot doesn't seem that worried about scary things.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_06]: It's seemingly got the best results we could get.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_06]: We did all the things.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_06]: Like we used almost everything on the gambits and stuff.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_06]: And it feels still scary.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_07]: So, here's how we're going to do this.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_07]: We've resolved the mechanics, but I want some juicy juicy flavor.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_07]: So I'm going to start with Ruskin.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_07]: I'm going to go to Andrea.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_07]: I'm going to go to Brainwin.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_07]: Ruskin.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_07]: How does your javelin throw open up the ogre for the attack from the other two?
- 12:28[SPEAKER_08]: The Ruskin steps back and looking, because it's all about the artistry, looking at like a sort of Greek statue, does a really dramatic lean back and does a pause for a second, so you can really take in the splendor of the pose.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_08]: Before chucking it up towards the ogres head, with the hope of hitting, but also of a sort of if the ogres looking up, they can't see what's coming for their legs.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_07]: You toss the javelin the ogre, tilts, his head to avoid the direct blow from it and watches it zoom by his face.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_07]: Andry, what do you do to open up for the big blow from Britain one?
- 13:08[SPEAKER_05]: Andree is looking behind him and seeing Serpaskar running to McDonald's and then being like very at risk here.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_05]: They do not have armor.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_05]: They do not have it.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_05]: They have these infused needles, but that's kind of it.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_05]: And so all Andree's thinking about doing is stopping this ogre.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_05]: And so he is running around and like sliding down underneath an arm coming down for Serb ran when and is stabbing his bolt Gisarm into the foot of the ogre and pinning him to the ground.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, the ogre, let's add a- As he reels, pulls his hand back that was going to grab brand one to grab at this pain in his foot, kind of like bending over brand one.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_07]: How does this blow look?
- 13:49[SPEAKER_03]: As Sandley slams this weapon into their first pinning them down, I rush towards the Hanabi and pulled back and I leap with this statue in arm and swing down onto the shoulder of the ogre, slamming into it and here a crack, though you don't see anything chip from the statue itself as a land beside the ogre.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_08]: 20 foot verticaly.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_07]: With a 10 foot pause.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_07]: My gosh.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_07]: Ruskin tosses a javelin ogre moves out of the way.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_07]: Foot stabbed it.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_07]: Brennan leaps slams the statue into the shoulder.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_07]: You hear it.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_07]: And you watch as the ogres arm sort of goes a little lip getting knocked out of a very giant socket.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_07]: You see that on that side, there is a knife that he would be able to reach with that arm, but I'm going to flavor the disarming of that weapon as this arm is just kind of weakened.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_08]: Nice.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_07]: It seems to be going well, everybody.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_07]: Don't talk too soon, Sanjree.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_07]: You can see, Brann, when as you get up there and slam into him, that this ogre is wearing sort of a facsimile of royal clothes made out of this moss made out of these eyes.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_07]: But you've
- 15:07[SPEAKER_07]: feel the impact of your statue against this narrowed rope-like muscle all over this thing.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_07]: That absorbs some of the 13 damage.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_07]: Additionally, just through pure will and a certain amount of guard, another portion of that damage is going to get avoided by the ogre.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_07]: But you do land still a fairly significant blow and he is reeling from this hit.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_07]: Pasco.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_07]: You run over to McDoll and Nadia.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_07]: Nadia is completely expressionless.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_07]: McDoll is staring up at the ogre and watching this combat in fear and shaking.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, all right, and I'm gonna go over and pick up Nadia and put her on Andy, my horse.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_01]: And then I'm going to look at McDowell and say, right get on the horse as well.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_01]: Go, please, just go.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: Like, pattern on the butt a little bit, get her moving in the right direction and just kind of yell out.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_01]: She likes oats.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_01]: She'll say that she doesn't want to eat the hay.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_01]: You'll know, and that's the lie.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_01]: She'll eat that too.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_01]: So please just tell the pigeon I will see you soon.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, bye.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, where do we go?
- 16:16[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, South.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_01]: Just keep going south.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_01]: South.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_01]: South.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, and they ride off on Andy That is now the ogres turn.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_04]: No, so Brad with we did a really good combo move
- 16:36[SPEAKER_03]: If I hit her up, I do need to roll.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_03]: Do we want to get the roll from I say it?
- 16:39[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yes, Andre and Bran when I need you to roll your vigor save for using smite.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yes.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_07]: And if we fail, you cannot use any feeds for the rest of combat.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, Jesus.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_06]: My vigor is so bad.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_06]: I keep freaking him on.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, but I got it.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_07]: My vigor's 10.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_07]: I rolled a five.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_07]: I wrote a six.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_07]: You steal yourself, even though you put so much into that attack, you do not become fatigued.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_07]: the ogre cannot not grab at its bony knife on its hip, but it reaches behind its back with its other hand and pulls out what looks like a grand mousse horn that has been like sharpened along the edge.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_07]: Oh great, the bigger weapon.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_07]: And Russ, can I know you moved out of the way, correct?
- 17:26[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, okay.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_07]: So this is going to be a blast attack at a brand win and injury with this.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_07]: It's fine.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_08]: It's fine.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_05]: We still got the Nye.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_05]: So we're still kind of superheroes for a second.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_08]: Ah, we will make quick work of this.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, good.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_08]: Right?
- 17:45[SPEAKER_08]: Right, guys?
- 17:46[SPEAKER_04]: I kind of thought that that what was going to do, we really had a great team up moment.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_04]: And it seemed like that was going to be kind of a one-hit wonder.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_07]: That is seven damage coming your way.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_07]: Oh.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_07]: So first, your armor reduces that number by the amount of armor you have.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_07]: OK, let bring it down to five for me, because I've got two armor.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_07]: You got two armor and brand one.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_07]: I'm going to use a feet and use deny.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_07]: Deny?
- 18:10[SPEAKER_07]: OK, great.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_07]: I would also like to use today.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_07]: How do the two of you deny this is only a single die attack?
- 18:20[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, so the damage goes to zero, right?
- 18:22[SPEAKER_07]: Well, you get rid of one die, so this is the only die for this attack.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_07]: Huge.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_03]: As I ladden and see this new spawn, singing my way, I almost parry it with the statue, knocking it up and over my head, as it comes my way.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_05]: Surried for you, really just kind of rides the wave of that room.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_05]: You avoid getting it by the statue.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I avoid getting it by the statue as well.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_05]: I basically did hide behind the statue, but I pull out my bulky sarm and then move back in a slipstream that Subran was made for me.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_05]: Hell yeah.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_05]: Bravely.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_08]: Surprise!
- 19:03[SPEAKER_08]: For your age.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_07]: You fully avoid this attack.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_07]: The ogre is looking frustrated.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_02]: I just need a night to protect my home.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_07]: Oh.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_07]: and then like reo's up like to keep fighting.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_07]: Can you make spirit saves for your deny?
- 19:20[SPEAKER_07]: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, nope, not me.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_07]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
- 19:44[SPEAKER_04]: Are you a bad guy, or are you just need some help?
- 19:48[SPEAKER_08]: Oh no.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_02]: I'd be a knight.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_08]: For what purpose do you need a knight?
- 19:52[SPEAKER_02]: To protect my castle.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_08]: From?
- 19:56[SPEAKER_02]: Intruder?
- 19:57[SPEAKER_08]: And you are unable to do this, you see, but worthy fighter yourself.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_02]: I want to rely.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_04]: Alright, you could've had a better, better line than that, I suppose.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_03]: Hold on.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_03]: Do you have people working for you against that one?
- 20:13[SPEAKER_03]: Yes or no?
- 20:14[SPEAKER_03]: I have people working for me.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_03]: Against that will?
- 20:18[SPEAKER_02]: Will?
- 20:22[SPEAKER_02]: I suppose.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_02]: Let me, you shouldn't do that.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_02]: Which of you will come with me?
- 20:27[SPEAKER_01]: We don't want to.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_01]: That's part of the free will thing.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_02]: That doesn't work for me.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_08]: Well, it doesn't work for us either.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_08]: Nights!
- 20:40[SPEAKER_08]: Attack!
- 20:44[SPEAKER_08]: I'm just...
- 20:47[SPEAKER_08]: Your Oscar's in the hit this time with the heavy cudgel, which is designated as hefty.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_08]: Does that mean I have to use both hands?
- 20:57[SPEAKER_07]: Hefty is one hand, but you can only use one hefty item at a time.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_08]: Well, I only got one hefty items.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_07]: So yeah, your javelins off in the trees.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_08]: I have three.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_08]: So I have four, but I am going to use my heavy cudgel this round.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_07]: Fuck yeah.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_08]: Especially because that hand is coming straight for me.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_08]: So I got to swing at it.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, and I'm going to use might as well.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_07]: Fuck yeah, adding a D12.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_07]: Anybody else joining Ruskin on this attack.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_03]: I'll come in, I get to stand a little further away because I've got a halberd, but I'll poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke,
- 21:54[SPEAKER_05]: Andrey, because I have the bolt case on my, I do think Andrey recognizes that he doesn't have his ability for his spikes and stuff anymore.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_05]: So he's going to move backwards and use his bolt case arm as a slow range weapon.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, great.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_07]: Hell yeah.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm rolling a D10.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, everybody roll all your dice.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_07]: If you're smiting at a D12.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_07]: We're smite again.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not fatigued yet.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_07]: That's a good one.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_07]: Let's start with Pasco.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_07]: What do your dice results?
- 22:25[SPEAKER_01]: Well, since this is my first combat that dice have agreed and I've rolled a one.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_07]: What about on your, what did you smite?
- 22:35[SPEAKER_07]: No, you didn't.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, absolutely not.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_01]: That was just stragged because you had to send more.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, you're thinking about Andy.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_01]: Your mind is with Andy.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_03]: Stepping back and trying to poke.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_01]: And just too busy thinking about Andy and how worried I am about her.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not worth it.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_07]: All right, Russkin.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_08]: I got a five and a three.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_07]: Five and a three, okay, brand wins.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_08]: I'm not ideal.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_03]: I go out to a 10 and a 6.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_07]: Tell me.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_07]: Very good.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_07]: An entry.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_07]: Just a 5 on a D10.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_07]: So anything over 4, you can spend on a gambit.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_07]: Is anybody doing any gambits?
- 23:11[SPEAKER_07]: I'll go ahead and bolster with my 5 bolster.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_07]: Great.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_08]: I will also bolster with my five.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_07]: So we're adding two damage.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_08]: And what was the highest roll brand when you got a ten?
- 23:23[SPEAKER_03]: A ten.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, I think I will again try to impair a weapon.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_03]: Not that they've pulled out this mouse.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_07]: Great.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, he is going to get a save.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_07]: He has very good and bigger.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_07]: Well, that seems true.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_01]: That feels accurate.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_07]: He just passes that save so that the weapon will not be impaired.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_01]: Ah, damn it.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_03]: I have a question.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_03]: What number was road?
- 23:49[SPEAKER_03]: I have a thing about Dice being a road.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_07]: It was not an eight.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_07]: Damn it.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_05]: We got to remember that.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_05]: If you have any AIDS scare, anyone rolls an eight right now, we got a room to call it out.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_08]: Damn, yeah.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_07]: Pascal, what does this not so great contribution to combat look like for me?
- 24:07[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to get in close.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_01]: So Pasco goes and grabs for the very first time.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_01]: They're Stout Halberd.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_01]: And as they go and try to like reach out with it, realize in real time, how heavy it is holding it at the end?
- 24:22[SPEAKER_01]: And just kind of like, limply it falls to the snow.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_01]: And then they just kind of, well, didn't walk and then kind of pulls it back in.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_07]: Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha
- 24:37[SPEAKER_07]: Andrew, how do you open up for another big hit from Brand One?
- 24:42[SPEAKER_05]: I'm just trying to distract the ogre.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_05]: So just like Serruscan, I'm doing a toss towards its head that it's going to have to focus on and avoid so that Brand One can come in and hit anywhere that he wants to.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_07]: Hell yeah, think about this ogre.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_07]: He's not very bright.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_07]: So this Halbert flies and he does the exact same thing that I hope about last time and just goes,
- 25:07[SPEAKER_07]: Ruskin, how do you open up the ogre further for this hit?
- 25:09[SPEAKER_08]: The ogre's hand is reaching straight for Ruskin, and so Ruskin knows that the heavy cuddles the way to go this time, but gets caught up once again in the forms, and performance of it, and so realizes that they've waited maybe a bit too long to swing, and so when they do, they haven't reached their full power, but they do hit, they do hit the hand.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_07]: Hell yeah.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_08]: I just think get a place where it's it's perhaps not as it's like maybe I should have gone for the wrist But I'm like straight into the palm and it's like, well, that's not gonna do that It'll prove it'll prove it'll prove it'll prove it'll prove it'll prove it'll prove it's on the hand that hurts You know you knock the hand that is reaching for you to the side
- 25:54[SPEAKER_03]: The ogre arm gets knocked back brand when what's this hit look like the moment is arm is knocks back it's wide open and I come in almost like I'm carrying a battering ram not it the position of the statue holding switches and table was like a battering ram and I run and slam it into the guts of the ogre.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_07]: Oh wow, you come up and slam it into the gut in the ogre.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_07]: It's out like a big hunk of this like dark gooey thick blood from this hit as it like lands on all of you and Let's out just like a truly Animalistic like
- 26:35[UNKNOWN]: Oh no!
- 26:36[SPEAKER_08]: What do you mean fine?
- 26:38[SPEAKER_08]: It's not fine.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_07]: It's not fine.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_07]: It's not fine.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_07]: It's not.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_07]: He's like super fucked up.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_07]: And he sees where your horses.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_01]: Oh no.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_07]: They're nearby, right Pasco loaded them up.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_01]: They were off a little bit.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_01]: I guess we're the people we're probably.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_01]: How many ogres steps do you think?
- 26:56[SPEAKER_08]: Oh no.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_08]: Like at least 40.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_07]: The ogres stumps away, not impaired movement wise anymore.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_07]: Grabs, which one of you is the biggest horse?
- 27:10[SPEAKER_01]: Not Princess.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_07]: I think it's Princess.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_07]: My closest litch described as muscular is going to pick up Princess.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_07]: And hurl her at the four of you.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_06]: This is the meanest thing I've ever done.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_08]: I wouldn't want to do anything like can I?
- 27:33[SPEAKER_06]: So fucked up.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_08]: My whole turn to catch prison.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_07]: All right, that is going to be, oh, that is 12 damage coming off all of a sudden.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_07]: I'm going to deny it.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to deny as well.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to deny it.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_03]: You're denying is deny a personal thing.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_03]: Deny is a U or nearby ally.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm going to deny the damage on Princess.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_03]: I'm taking a damage on it tonight, a damage on Princess.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, so you're doing the dividend in princess.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_07]: So princess is going to survive this attack.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_08]: Do we have to roll our vigor saves before we could call denying?
- 28:11[SPEAKER_07]: Oh yeah, can anybody who's smited roll their vigor save on the last turn, actually?
- 28:15[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_03]: That's fine, I wrote mine.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_07]: Some good.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, brand one holds onto it.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_08]: I passed as well.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, you hold on to feats as well.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, Pasco's denying for Pasco, Brinwins denying for Princess, Andrew Ruskin, Andrew's fatigue cannot deny.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_07]: I'm fatigue, I can't deny.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_08]: And then how does guard factor into this?
- 28:36[SPEAKER_07]: Guard is a brought down before your vigor is brought down.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_07]: So guard is a is a movable value, but it is it is depleted before your vigor is depleted.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_08]: I'm going to I'm going to deny for entry because entry won't survive this attack.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_08]: But I will.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_07]: You're denying for entry.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_07]: Pasco, how do you avoid this throne horse attack?
- 28:58[SPEAKER_01]: I just go, oh, shit, shit, shit, and drop.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_01]: I just dropped into the snow flat.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_07]: There are now probably two to three feet of snow.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_07]: You just disappear into the white power.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, gone.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_07]: Ruskin, how do you avoid the damage for injury?
- 29:13[SPEAKER_07]: How do you protect injury?
- 29:15[SPEAKER_08]: Surverskin's more of a softie, just then they like to project and no surgery.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_08]: Wants are injury to get the nightly experience because they want injury to show up.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_08]: Um, like, they're acting together and so I think Ruskin is going to basically push entry out of the way.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_08]: I think it's the cleanest way to do it.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_07]: Great.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_07]: You shove entry out of the way as this horse comes and is going to deal damage to you and brand win, brand win.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_07]: How do you protect princess from taking the brunt of this throw?
- 29:52[SPEAKER_03]: I always immediately let go of a statue of flyers and clashes into a snow that distance and I rush towards the meat princesses body flying towards me, you know what I mean?
- 30:02[SPEAKER_03]: Catch it and brace it, try something here in the ground.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_07]: you catch and brace princess the momentum of her being thrown throws you into Ruskin and the three of you hurdle back into the snow princess not taking any of the force of that but you and Ruskin take 12 points of damage.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_07]: How much does that hit your vigor after armor and after bringing down your guard?
- 30:27[SPEAKER_07]: Seven.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_07]: I take seven points of damage.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, is that half or more of your current vigor?
- 30:34[SPEAKER_07]: No, it's not.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, great.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_07]: Huge.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_08]: Whew.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_08]: Ruskin has no armor, but has five guard.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_08]: So I would take seven damage.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, and what's your total vigor?
- 30:47[SPEAKER_07]: 11.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_08]: Oh.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_07]: Ruskin gets mortally wounded by this impact.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_07]: Brinwyn, when you are able to lift princess off of you, you look behind you and see that Ruskin is mangled on the ground by this impact, broken bones, probably unconscious or semi-conscious.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_01]: Ah!
- 31:16[SPEAKER_07]: As you all real from this throne horse attack, the ogre starts to run away.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_07]: Why don't I find a different name and just start sprinting into the storm away from here.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_07]: I'm chasing him down.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_05]: You can certainly try.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_05]: Surgery looks over and like had been caught flat-footed like he had shoved this bulky storm and like in his throwing motion is when like this ogre grabbed this horse and her own of that and without Sir Ruskin jumping in would be dead.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_05]: And it would be, would be, would be dead.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_05]: Mm-hmm.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_05]: And looks over NC's Seruskin, just like mangoed after getting hit with princess.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_05]: And I think the reality of what adventuring can be really snaps into focus for him.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_05]: I see Sir Brandwin running off after this ogre, and I am going to run and grab my thrown bulky arm and chuck it.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_05]: As like, this is the only thing, this thing is gonna go away from us.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_05]: We're not fast enough, I guess.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm gonna chuck it and see if we can't make one last ditch effort.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I can try to, I'll throw a dagger after him.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_07]: All right, we're throwing a dagger.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_08]: Can Ruskin throw a javlin or am I beyond help?
- 32:27[SPEAKER_07]: Ruskin cannot.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_07]: Ruskin, you can be patched up and then you'll be up again, however, right now you are functionally dying.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_07]: So I'm going to say that like there is some kind of like severely broken bone that is pierced like an organ in a bad way.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you'll need to be patched up by your friends.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_08]: From the snow, I think Saraskin is saying, Sarandri, throw, and in their head, they're envisioning also throwing a jabbalid.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_08]: But of course, it's not physically happening.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_07]: The spirit of Saraskin is lined up with Andrios, he throws, andrios and Pasco, give me those rolls.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_07]: Just rollin' a D10.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_07]: Seven.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_07]: I rolled a four.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_07]: Seven and a four.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, Pasco, would you like to use that four for any gambits?
- 33:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I will stop the ogre.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_01]: I wanna, yeah, stop the ogre.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_07]: Ooh.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_07]: The ogre is going to get a singe for that, but his vigor is down quite a bit.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_07]: So that is gonna be a tough save.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_08]: So when you roll vigor, it's by what it currently is, not your max.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_08]: Correct.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_08]: But to check like this, that's so scary.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_07]: Wow, he makes that save by a fucking hair, but also, for mortal wounds, is it half of your current, it's half of current, I believe.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, so you're about to do seven damage.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah, okay, injury, you're just getting a sense of how serious things are what it's going through your head as you put all your weight into this throw.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_05]: I think I'm just looking at Serruscan, I don't think Andrea's ever seen a body be mangled in this way.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_05]: The truth of what an ogre hitting you or what a sword slicing through you can look like.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_05]: And that is terrifying?
- 34:21[SPEAKER_05]: What was a interesting myth or a story or something that was being told to invite McDonald and Mario?
- 34:27[SPEAKER_05]: very quickly snaps into focus and he recognizes the severity and the seriousness of what this thing can do and what these people must have gone through if these trained nights have gone through this.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_05]: If Sir Ruskin, as brave and as noble as he is, got taken out by like that one move.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_05]: He is just putting every ounce of muscle that he has from 61 years of working the forge
- 35:02[SPEAKER_07]: In the legends they would tell of this moment, that Bolt Giesarm is red hot, like it just came off the forge as it flies through the air, as it hits the ogre, square in the back of the head, and pierces out the front of its face.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_07]: and the slow teetering and falls face-first into the ground.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_01]: I quietly go up, don't say anything, and I just pat and drill on the back.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_01]: saw that though you saw that you saw that that actually happened you saw that I saw that that's why I padded you on the bat okay we got it we got to be this is serious time but I'm working to celebrate this later okay yeah just but okay hold on and then I try to go tend to rustkin yeah yeah I'm running over with past but I hope as well
- 36:02[SPEAKER_07]: have to see if there's anything mechanical about helping something mortally wounded.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_07]: It says, can be patched up in a few moments, so I think not.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_08]: And a few moments, wow.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_05]: Though it is a thing if you're going to have to repair your vigor.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_05]: Like that's going to be the long term thing.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, your vigor is going to be really low.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_07]: That's going to be the issue.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_08]: Wait, my vigor stays down.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah.
- 36:21[UNKNOWN]: Shit.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_07]: So Pasco, you run over to Ruskin and you see that a bit of Ruskin's armor was dented by the impact and is essentially pushing in on one of his lungs and that is what is suffocating him right now.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_01]: I get the armor office quickly as possible.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_07]: You wrench the armor off, breathe air for the first time in moments.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_07]: You can feel the broken bones throughout your body.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_07]: Bones that will take time to heal, but you can get up and at least move yourself again.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_08]: His butt is scratch.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_08]: Roll.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_08]: This is...
- 36:59[SPEAKER_08]: This is one of the perils of nightoid.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we got, um, we got the oga.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_01]: I try to help lift Raskin a little bit and lead them to the fire that I hope is still going.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, it might need some tending.
- 37:15[UNKNOWN]: Right.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_07]: I think the throne horse might have put the fire.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's so fair.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_01]: We'll restart the fire.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_04]: Entry or form?
- 37:30[SPEAKER_04]: I, I, I, I must admit it was magnificent.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_04]: So, Ruskin, I, um, I've never had anyone save my life before.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_04]: So, interesting feeling.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_04]: I've heard it told that if someone saves your life than you owe them a debt of the same, so consider this my marker.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_08]: As a night, that is simply part of the job.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_08]: No debt is owed, so entry.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_05]: I think Sir Andree, despite hearing that, has a mark in some kind of like mental calculus of what he owes to Sir Ruskin.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_07]: Princess was not harmed.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_07]: Thanks to that hell of a catch for that one.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_07]: You caught an incline hole.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_07]: Only a night who wields a giant statue as a weapon could catch a flying horse like that.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_08]: It's so anime.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_08]: It's the most wonderful, like, fully imagining your body just becoming a catcher's myth.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_03]: I think I had run after the ogre, so I think I'm currently sending over its body, looking down at it, and I see flashes of Sir Raskin in their state how much of a mortal wound they took and how, if no one else was around, this ergo would have finished your job.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_03]: In their stead, in my mind, for a second, I see a different person's body, their different image.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_03]: When it looks very similar to the statue, I would as a weapon, mangled, but unlike so rascan alone.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_03]: And then I'm back in this low storm and I will call out to the others.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_03]: I believe we should bury this body, a myth being a lot of ruts above lands cannot be good for the land it ruts on.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_07]: It's late.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_07]: Would you like to take part of the night to bury this or would you like to do so first thing in the morning?
- 39:45[SPEAKER_07]: I will stop working on burying it.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think I didn't put anyone in particular to help me, but I will stop working on that.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_01]: Minotucks are Ruskin in cozy, and I'm going to come help.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_08]: Is it Ruskin?
- 40:02[SPEAKER_08]: It is a funny thing if they want to go help, they know they can't, and so are kind of just going to yell orders specifically to pass going injury.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_08]: I would dare tell Brad what happens next time.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_08]: No, that's, you need to use the knees, not the back.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_08]: We'll laying down.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_08]: You can't even see us.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_08]: I can tell by the grunts that you're making that you're doing it wrong.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_05]: Sir Andrew owes his life to Sir Ruskin, but he looks over at Sir Brandwick.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_05]: Do you think we can like move this body a little further away and take a look?
- 40:43[SPEAKER_08]: I do think that the shots just get as I'm falling asleep because their past goes really good at swaddling.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_08]: I think they're getting quieter, quieter.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_07]: You take to the task entry, Brannland Pasco of burying this behemoth body, and with the feet and feet of snow falling, you're honestly not able to make much purchase in the dirt, so you end up just kind of creating more of a frozen snow mound around it.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_07]: Ruskin, while you're lying there, this isn't probably the first time you've been wounded so severely, but this one fucking hurt.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_07]: And while you're sitting there kind of watching them at work, I'm like, curious, what is going through Ruskin's mind?
- 41:27[SPEAKER_07]: Why?
- 41:28[SPEAKER_07]: Why do you do this job?
- 41:29[SPEAKER_07]: Why are you a knight despite the fact that something this fucking painful can happen?
- 41:35[SPEAKER_08]: I do think this is the worst injury that Ruskin has ever stained and so while they know that pain and this sort of physical difficulty is part of the job, this one is forcing them to really reflect on why they do this and why they would have pushed Andrea out of the way.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_08]: loved the ideas behind rank and order and loyalty and being noble in the sense of it being like your immoral code, not just a title, not nobility in that sense.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_08]: and that Sir Ruskin has always been deeply moved and attached to the stories of knights that came before and all of the things that they accomplished and the good and the bad.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_08]: And so, for Ruskin, there is just a really deep...
- 42:31[SPEAKER_08]: feeling of honor and the formalities of why you have to do things a certain way and what not and how all of that is connected and knows that this is really the worst injury they've ever sustained but there's honor in surviving it and there's honor in having saved entry and in taking the time to recover.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_07]: I imagine that in addition to tending to your wounds, one of the first things you do is make sure that your heraldry is cleaned up on the broken piece of armor.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, 100%, it's like the first thing that Raskin is going to do when it doesn't hurt to sit up is 10 to that armor and patch it up and look nice.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_05]: And I think that's the thing that injury helps like, as we finish bearing the ogre as best we can.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, surrendering is a blacksmith.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_05]: If there's one thing that he can fix, it is armor.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_05]: He doesn't have all the tools.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_05]: Like, it doesn't have a forge, but I can at least fix it as much as I can.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_05]: Get it bent back into shape.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_05]: Get it bent back into shape.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_05]: Make sure there's no major structural damage and have it as good as I can for Sir Ruskin when they wake up.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_07]: You all finish burying this ogre into the night.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_07]: I'm gonna say that burying this giant creature having started this combat at night means that brand-win Pasco and entry don't quite get enough sleep for a full night's rest.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_07]: So you're each gonna take five clarity, lost?
- 43:59[SPEAKER_08]: What?
- 44:00[SPEAKER_08]: Five!
- 44:02[SPEAKER_07]: I roll the D6.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_08]: Surendries practically did.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, wait, that is half of my clarity.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_07]: Clarity cannot kill you.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_07]: Clarity cannot kill you.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_08]: Okay, just make you dumb.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_08]: You just go be drugged.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_07]: The effect of zero clarity exposed and you're treated as having zero guard.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_07]: So if your clarity gets down to zero, your guard becomes zero.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, I've only got one guard in my eyes.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_05]: So no, we've lost vigor and clarity.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_05]: How do we gain those back?
- 44:31[SPEAKER_05]: I'm so glad you asked.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_01]: How does Ruskin continue surviving?
- 44:36[SPEAKER_01]: My eating my full English.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_07]: His restored by consuming sustenance or spending a full day in warm hospitality.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_07]: Clarity is restored by consuming a stimulant.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_07]: which you could maybe find at a place of civilization for trade or receiving guidance from a seer will also up your clarity and then spirit is restored by consuming sacrament or indulging your passion, which each of you has a unique passion.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_03]: So I have a question, going out narratively we've been eating a full English.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_03]: This feels very mechanical, is that mechanical, think or sustenance that we should we could be going out to find?
- 45:14[SPEAKER_03]: It's like such for sustenance
- 45:17[SPEAKER_07]: We're not really meant to track resources so specifically.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_07]: So I would say that I would probably have it be like, if you're just eating like travel food, maybe it's like restore a D4.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_07]: And if you go have like a proper meal, it'd be like restore a D6, would probably be how I, I'll check if there's a more specific rule for that, but that would be my initial thought.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_08]: Does guard go down after I've used it?
- 45:40[SPEAKER_07]: Guard is restored after combat.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_07]: So as soon as you rest after like, as soon as you take a moment's rest after combat, guard goes back up.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_07]: It's just a.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_07]: So my guard is back up.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, it's just a per combat resource rate.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_08]: My bigger is in trouble.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, where are we at, Ruskin?
- 45:56[SPEAKER_08]: Ruskin's a five.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, okay.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_08]: Brandman, you're not looking too hot either.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_08]: I don't think.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_03]: I'm a tent, which is a bad food brand with a lot of y'all.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_08]: Well, some of us live at 10 and we're happy for it.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_08]: But it's at least a double digit.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_08]: I'm less worried about you.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, so sir, Andrea, sir is looking at Sir Brandwin in the morning like training with the giant statue thing.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_06]: And like, Brandwin after getting hit by a horse grown by him is the same level of fighting fit as Sir Andrew.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_03]: You just see like, I think they take enough their arm.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_03]: Because do you think the arm is also been dented and like been pushing into their rib?
- 46:39[SPEAKER_03]: not to the extent of, so Russ can burn us for it's very uncomfortable.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_03]: So you see them with other, um, I think probably sharpness and you just see like a pretty big bruise, but that's about it on their torso.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_07]: Damn.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_07]: Brand when your number ritual I imagine you do, even though you stay up into the night bearing this thing.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_03]: It might even happen as we're bearing this thing, you see, suddenly, with me being so focused on bearing, I lose track of time, and very suddenly, I had dropped wherever tools we used to bury and dropped down on all fours.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_03]: Head snapped back, I had rolled into the back of the head.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, oh, oh shit, he's the only one that thinks I'm gonna get off It's the sun's sky It lights cold and bright The watcher bends the distant ghosts And out his mortal sight
- 47:44[SPEAKER_03]: Eyes roll back, it's the front of the head and the colour falls face first into the snow.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_03]: Sorry about that.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_01]: You're back, Kai.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_01]: All good?
- 47:57[SPEAKER_03]: No fine.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_03]: Even though I have to pick another number each night with the same numbers, I pick it eight again.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_03]: But I have to choose it.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_03]: Each night it doesn't carry over to the next day, so to do that again.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_07]: So we're doing eight again.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_03]: Eight, yeah.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_03]: I'm fine.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, you continue taking out just rest a little bit and I just sit on the ground in the snow and watch as We do as much about Barrow as we can and then move on from there Pascal, you know, as we're like dating Pascal, I don't think we're ever gonna be as strong as those two are you don't think so either I couldn't even lift my weapon if let's go if we're gonna be nice
- 48:40[SPEAKER_04]: And we can't be as strong as Sir Brandwin, or as strong as Sir Ruskin, then we've got to be smarter.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think I'm good at that either.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_04]: I thought that all of the blacksmithing would really help me, but it seems like muscles made for one thing or not necessarily muscles made for the other thing.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_01]: No, but Sir Andree, you were so brave.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_01]: You were the bravest I've ever seen anybody be.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_04]: But I think the thing that I've forgotten as I've gotten order is being brave is really easy when you're stupid.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_01]: Oh.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_04]: Do you know what I mean?
- 49:14[SPEAKER_04]: Like, if you're ignorant of how scary a thing is, it's really easy to be brave, because you're not really being brave.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_04]: You're just kind of charging forward.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_01]: Then I am smart, because I was not brave.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_04]: Honestly, you were kind of more well informed and did the smarter thing of making sure that the people were safe
- 49:39[SPEAKER_04]: Well, you did, you killed him.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_04]: I threw a javelin at the back of a myth.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_04]: I killed a guy running away.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_04]: That counts, that counts.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_04]: Listen, it counts, and I don't feel necessarily bad about it, but it's hardly worthy of a night.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_01]: No, I won't tell people that it was him running.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna say he was coming at us and you saved us all because he did.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_01]: And so Ross came got on the way and it was magical.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'll just, that's what I'll tell people.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_01]: He's got a hole coming out the front of his head.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_01]: So if you know if I pull it out, I pull it out.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_01]: That was just a hole.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_01]: Now it's just a hole.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's just a hole and no one can, no one can tell you otherwise because you're a knight.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_01]: What are they gonna say, you're a liar?
- 50:20[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_04]: All I'm saying is, if you and I are going to get through this, if you're going to stick together, if you're going to use our heads as best we can, if we got to make sure that we don't get these to kill trying to protect us, I don't know what I would do if so Ruskin was in the ground next to this ogre.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_01]: You're right.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, maybe we can stop training and I pick up the ant where thing.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_07]: It's huge.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_07]: You pick it up and get knocked over.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, okay, okay, okay, okay.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_05]: No, it has to, it has to, it has to, it has to, I try to pick it up and like, oh, nope, nope, nope.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_06]: No, we both all the other way.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_06]: It's like when you're doing bench press at the gym and you fail, and you've got to like roll it down to your knees.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that fits it around.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_06]: It's a real bubble.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_07]: you will go to sleep that night.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_07]: Pasco, you're always the first up in the morning to make full English.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_07]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
- 51:42[SPEAKER_07]: You, I think, don't feel like you contributed much to this last night, but the first thing Pasco did.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_07]: The first thing you did was save Nadia and McDall.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_07]: Do you think that that active bravery registers to Pasco or how does Pasco see what he did in that encounter?
- 51:59[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think Pasco considers it helpful at all.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_01]: I think Pasco saw everyone's bravery and all the damage output from everyone else, and just sees it as like a perhaps a bit of mitigation, but maybe as even another active cowardice that they didn't jump into the fight.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_07]: Not even McDonald are writing several Hexley's south and they're alive thanks to Pasco, whether they know it or not, unfortunately.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_07]: but you don't think about that for too long because as you're preparing the full English and brand-win and Adrian Ruskin start to rise, you stretch your bones and shake off the combat and you look over where you buried the ochre.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_07]: And there's just a great hole in the snow that you buried, some pools of blood, nobody and the snow continues to fall heavy and thick.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, damn it!
- 53:06[SPEAKER_01]: I lost five clarity for that!
- 53:08[SPEAKER_01]: We have to create a night watch.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_01]: We have to stop going to bed as if everything's fine.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's just things just move in the night.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_04]: We don't think good is happened when we sleep.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_04]: I mean I guess this is net positive, but it's...
- 53:26[SPEAKER_01]: It's their blood trail?
- 53:27[SPEAKER_05]: There's not a blood trail.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_05]: We get the sense that it disappeared.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_05]: Like there's no footsteps, there's no knot, there's no trail or anything.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_07]: You can see, again, the heavy snowfall is like, I can't kind of maybe express enough how inconvenient this makes normal tracking and stuff, but I think when you really give it an effort and you walk over to this area, you can see the very obvious difference in elevation of the snowfall where the body was and then you can see like sort of the idea of footsteps leading off to the northeast.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_07]: Ogrfoot steps, Ogrfoot steps.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_08]: Dammit.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_04]: We spent the whole night burying this guy and I didn't even kill him.
- 54:09[SPEAKER_04]: There was a hole in his head.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_04]: There was a hole in his head.
- 54:12[SPEAKER_04]: There was a straight through.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_04]: To ogres have brains in the normal spots.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_04]: Mmm.
- 54:17[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, Seruskin.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_08]: Yes, I'm feeling... Much in awe.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_08]: Much improved.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_03]: Don't be too much Seruskin.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_08]: Yes, yes.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_01]: Right, why don't we all just get on our horses and continue towards the people we were gunma save and tell them the ogres gone?
- 54:38[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go!
- 54:39[SPEAKER_03]: It seems the ogres had it in the direction of the place we are.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_07]: You were headed north west to where you were told a sear is, uh, the ogre headed to the north east.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_07]: Really to the east, like to the east, northeast.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_03]: Ah, okay.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, we should speak to the sear.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sure there, but you know, of this ogre and the myth, they may be able to give us more information.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_01]: Right, then nothing happened to Ruskin in the night.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing at all.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_01]: You kept to watch?
- 55:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_08]: What's this big hole?
- 55:14[SPEAKER_08]: Ruskin kind of barely remembers what happened to me.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_07]: Ruskin was in an attic consciousness.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_07]: Hello.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_08]: Whenever Ruskin is in this sort of, because they've been injured before, if they're in this state or if they're really sleepy, like if they've lost clarity, things, whatever.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_08]: is always the thing where they sort of day-tream about what's the most exciting story version of what has happened and always wake up sort of next day not really knowing what was true and what was not but fully believing whatever they want.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_08]: Like they've just been like the most noble epic version of this?
- 55:49[SPEAKER_08]: Yes, that's definitely what happened.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_07]: So, where are two next kids?
- 55:56[SPEAKER_08]: Do we feel the sear we'll be able to give us guidance on this myth?
- 56:00[SPEAKER_03]: I think.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_03]: We are coming from a rum.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_03]: It's like this, and it's your hair, but no more than we would.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's a good idea.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_01]: Also, I have these scrolls, and I just pull out three scrolls.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_01]: I can't read them, but I just need to give them to a seer.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_01]: Any seer?
- 56:18[SPEAKER_08]: Pascal, where did you obtain these scrolls?
- 56:21[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, when I woke up and was suddenly a night, I had them.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_04]: It seems like if we go to a seer, we can all gain a little bit of clarity.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_04]: Both figuratively and mechanically.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_03]: Mechanically, what do you mean, Sanji?
- 56:35[SPEAKER_03]: Why is my nose bleeding?
- 56:37[SPEAKER_03]: Mechanically, what?
- 56:39[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 56:40[SPEAKER_01]: Perhaps we'll all be more vigorous after that.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_05]: Ah, there's a long line here that seems to divide this hex... ...for that opportunity.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_03]: Love you, actually.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_03]: I guess you'd be in an omen.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_03]: I would like to... You can be a literal hex, please.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_07]: It's actually turning the world into a game name.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_07]: That's a good name.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_08]: I think we're gonna head toward the sear, yeah.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, so you guys mount up Pascal, who do you mount with?
- 57:09[SPEAKER_07]: I imagine entry, but I don't want to assume.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_07]: I will offer.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_01]: I probably wouldn't even ask, I think Serpascow would just start walking.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_03]: I would definitely be offering that.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_03]: I think Serp然 when is like, you see them taking this statue, which I think not he's not swinging around constantly.
- 57:25[SPEAKER_03]: You see, it's like a perfectly sculpted statue in best thought.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_03]: We were again, cracks of gold.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_03]: We see that it ends just above the neck.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_03]: There is no fleece to it, and it doesn't seem correct when you think he just was perfectly stomped, being crafted there.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_03]: As they wrap it up in this fur blanket and set it into the crate, and lift his crate onto the sled, being poured by Princess.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_03]: They'll see Pasco.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_03]: Can I imagine that kind of the door turning around as everyone's getting ready on their steeds and go?
- 57:53[SPEAKER_03]: So Pasco.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, you did something very nightly last night.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_03]: You were very busy with the over-protected innocent lives.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_03]: You may ride on my steed, or sit on the sled, did you like?
- 58:07[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I could never ride on Princess.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_01]: I'll sit in the back, thank you.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_07]: After traveling through the morning, you guys make it one hex league away into one comma one, the furthest northeast reach of the realm.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_07]: At first, they're sparse.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_07]: and then quite dense statues, hundreds and hundreds of statues.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_07]: And as you enter through the sanctum of statues out in the wilderness, just they seem like they were just dropped off here, hundreds and hundreds at a time.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_07]: You can hear as you pass them whispers of long forgotten stories.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_07]: Love unrequited, friends betrayed for ambition, monsters vanquished, foes erased alliances forge, little bits and pieces of legend and story that just come whispered off of each.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_07]: All these statues and half-states of repair, thick, red vines seem to have grown around them, constricting them like pithons.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_07]: But as you progress deeper and deeper into this statue garden, those aren't vines.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_07]: The snow doesn't collect on them, and a light steam rises off them as if they were as warm as your breath.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_07]: As you get closer, the number of these thick red vine-like structures increase, and you can see a soft, undulation.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_04]: No, thank you.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_07]: No, thank you.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_07]: You're in the veins for these are the strewn entrails of the gut-seer.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_07]: Ah!
- 59:58[SPEAKER_07]: Beckoning you towards the center of the sanctum.
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, no!
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_04]: All right, everybody, we came.
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_04]: We saw the gut-thats.
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_04]: Ha!
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_04]: Ha!
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_04]: Ha!

- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_07]: Quick check-in, are we all feeling okay with this?
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's horrifying.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, gross in the best way, yeah.
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_07]: Out of character, yes, in character.
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_07]: No, no, no.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_07]: that softxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_07]: one of the sneaking and trails slides off a statue and sort of approaches you pass goes sort of with curiosity like a snake.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_01]: We are nights in search of council and I've got scrolls.
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_07]: Pasco, I think when you were given these scrolls by the, by the drunkenseer, I think you did, you woke up with them, but there is a, there's a, there's a, a heft in a weight to these.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_07]: You can remember, you know, in flashes more and more of that conversation with the drunkenseer.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_04]: Don't spend them all in one place.
- 1:01:34[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, they're very valuable.
- 1:01:37[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_07]: I think you know that you probably don't want to give up the goat on all of these scrolls with one the Sierra.
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_07]: You probably want to choose very carefully who you give them to and decide kind of which one you would want to present first if you were to present to.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_01]: I will give you a scroll but is there any way you can help my friend here at night point to Sarah's skin?
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_01]: We seek mostly
- 1:02:10[SPEAKER_05]: Both, again, both mechanically and they did the joke before and it got a laugh and it seems in this environment.
- 1:02:18[SPEAKER_05]: We all kind of made a chuckle like that.
- 1:02:20[SPEAKER_05]: Don't call back.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_07]: Pascal, what are you asking for?
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_07]: You want this role to be interpreted or you want this role to be traded in exchange for something.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_07]: What's your hope here?
- 1:02:30[SPEAKER_01]: The scrolls hold no value to Pasco.
- 1:02:34[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that there just would happily, if this feels valuable to the Sears, happily give it up and just request some sort of help.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that it's even necessarily like a you must.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_01]: Just please help us.
- 1:02:48[SPEAKER_01]: We're in dire straits here.
- 1:02:50[SPEAKER_07]: One of those undulating vines grabs onto the scroll and pulls it into itself.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_07]: Which scroll are you offering up?
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna roll, cause I don't think that Pasco even knows.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_01]: I've given the seal night scroll.
- 1:03:06[SPEAKER_01]: Scroll.
- 1:03:08[SPEAKER_07]: Mm, okay, great.
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_07]: As you hand this scroll, it grabs it in and it breaks the seal.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_07]: Your seal on this scroll.
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_07]: Then these four tendrils snake out and they rise to meet each of you and approach you at mouth level.
- 1:03:28[SPEAKER_07]: Do you even have a question you'd like to ask the scene?
- 1:03:31[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, why?
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_07]: Why?
- 1:03:33[SPEAKER_08]: What's your deal?
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_05]: Entry is going to kind of move forward and... Appro...
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_06]: Entry is moving forward like a picky kid trying to decide whether or not he wants to eat that thing.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_05]: And it is going to ask the question of the sear.
- 1:03:54[SPEAKER_04]: I, don't think I fully understood how best to be a knight.
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_04]: I need to be smarter.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_04]: Is there a good way to do that?
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_04]: Make sure that I'm not in the way.
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_07]: You asked the question, is there a way to make sure I do that?
- 1:04:12[SPEAKER_07]: And the rest of you see as this tendril suckrins onto Andrew's mouth, and his eyes roll back in his head.
- 1:04:19[SPEAKER_06]: Oh!
- 1:04:21[SPEAKER_06]: No.
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_03]: What is the next step?
- 1:04:31[SPEAKER_03]: We thought we'd defeated the yoga, but it still lives.
- 1:04:34[SPEAKER_03]: What next?
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_07]: Similarly, suction's onto your mouth and your eyes roll back in your head.
- 1:04:43[SPEAKER_01]: Sir Pasco steps forward and just ask,
- 1:04:52[SPEAKER_07]: The suction's on to your mouth, your eyes roll back and your head.
- 1:04:55[SPEAKER_07]: Ruskin, you're the only one who is still conscious as you watch this happen in order.
- 1:05:00[SPEAKER_07]: And you can see that with Pasco having given this scroll, it seems like the communion is somehow even more intense and strong.
- 1:05:09[SPEAKER_07]: Ruskin, what is your question?
- 1:05:11[SPEAKER_08]: Ruskin asks, are there more people yet to be saved from the ogre?
- 1:05:22[SPEAKER_07]: Andrey, you want to know how to be smarter?
- 1:05:25[SPEAKER_05]: Andrey wants to know how to be valuable, because I think he's recognizing that he's 61.
- 1:05:31[SPEAKER_05]: He has not trained for this.
- 1:05:33[SPEAKER_05]: He wants to know how best he can serve the rest of the nights and how best he can serve the realm.
- 1:05:46[SPEAKER_07]: Andrea, I think you see a vision as you commune here and you can feel something being transferred between you and the Sierra.
- 1:05:56[SPEAKER_07]: You see a vision of yourself staring at a full forward-to-sealing length mirror.
- 1:06:02[SPEAKER_07]: You see yourself, you see yourself morph into Brannland and you see yourself morph into Ruskin and you see yourself morph into Pasco.
- 1:06:11[SPEAKER_07]: And I think that the message you're getting here is like, learn from the people around you.
- 1:06:17[SPEAKER_07]: You have kind of everything you need in the group you have and like take from,
- 1:06:22[SPEAKER_07]: these people, all three of them, not just Ruskin and Brandland.
- 1:06:25[SPEAKER_04]: You know, when you, when you say it or rather kind of put blood in my face, metaphysically, it seems really obvious, but sometimes the things that are clear are striking front of your face are a little not a focus.
- 1:06:37[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I mean?
- 1:06:38[SPEAKER_04]: They're too close.
- 1:06:38[SPEAKER_07]: Does that feel like a satisfying answer?
- 1:06:41[SPEAKER_07]: Are you looking for something else?
- 1:06:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:06:46[SPEAKER_01]: Both, if you're sensitive, what's it to yes or no question?
- 1:06:52[SPEAKER_06]: I'm slightly regret asking a really broad question rather than where's the Ogre?
- 1:06:58[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's a love about their injury.
- 1:07:00[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's very interesting.
- 1:07:02[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, I think also you linger on the image of yourself and I think that you get to see the final thing you see in that mirror is you see that that image of you throwing the
- 1:07:15[SPEAKER_07]: Damn, you look like a knight.
- 1:07:19[SPEAKER_05]: The image of that, and you see, is a moment of pride in a moment of like, this is what I want to be.
- 1:07:24[SPEAKER_05]: Like, this was a moment, this was a highlight.
- 1:07:26[SPEAKER_05]: But then, like, the flash that is of Ser Ruskin is of Ser Ruskin, like, absolutely destroyed by this, a horse getting chucked at them by an okre.
- 1:07:36[SPEAKER_05]: And I think Ser Andree is...
- 1:07:38[SPEAKER_05]: Extremely aware and maybe even like sees a flash of himself had Sir Ruskin not decided to do the most nightly thing that they could and Sir Henry would just be dead story finished before it ever started He is just extremely aware that yes, he got to do a very like brave and nightly thing But ultimately it was throwing a spear at someone's back
- 1:08:02[SPEAKER_05]: Hmm, and I think Endry is proud of the ultimate results of like taking down this ogre, but there is something of, if that ogre had turned around and faced me, I don't know if I would have stood my ground, and I certainly don't know if I would have won.
- 1:08:18[SPEAKER_05]: And I think you'll never know that, unfortunately.
- 1:08:22[SPEAKER_04]: Well, at least this thing is a zombie, then why would we like it round two?
- 1:08:27[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I think that the last thing is, is you see the front facing ogre with the hole in its head, just looking at you, not angry, but kind of judgmental, and then you cut out of a vision.
- 1:08:40[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:08:45[SPEAKER_08]: Ruskin, you asked.
- 1:08:48[SPEAKER_08]: Are there people yet to be saved?
- 1:08:50[SPEAKER_08]: Are there still people to free from the ogres,
- 1:08:56[SPEAKER_07]: you in a vision, Ruskin, you feel in this vision moment that your body is a little bit healthier than it is in this current moment, but you see yourself, you follow this blood, uh, entrail, as it weaves up a mountain, as you move with sort of preternatural speed through this vision.
- 1:09:17[SPEAKER_07]: and you arrive at a ruined ramshackle castle that has had like wood and trees hastily put up to complete it into something akin to a castle and you see several dozen people working in this castle working on repairing the walls, working on bidding clothes out of natural materials like
- 1:09:47[SPEAKER_07]: Especially painful thing for Ruskin to see and in faith in place just a big thumsmere of dirt from the ogre across their chest to mark them as his nights.
- 1:09:59[SPEAKER_08]: Oh no!
- 1:10:00[SPEAKER_07]: Manning people still to be saved from the ogre.
- 1:10:03[SPEAKER_08]: This cannot, this cannot stand.
- 1:10:08[SPEAKER_07]: Is he pull out?
- 1:10:11[SPEAKER_07]: Braynwin, you wanted to know what is next?
- 1:10:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 1:10:15[SPEAKER_07]: What is your time horizon on that question?
- 1:10:18[SPEAKER_07]: What a good and kind of scary question.
- 1:10:22[SPEAKER_03]: I think whatever you think it's interesting.
- 1:10:26[SPEAKER_03]: I think the brand-new made the mistake of being concise and specific about it.
- 1:10:30[SPEAKER_03]: So I think it's how, what a time that is there.
- 1:10:34[SPEAKER_03]: Genie rules.
- 1:10:36[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, it's genie rules.
- 1:10:38[SPEAKER_08]: It's airbud rules.
- 1:10:40[SPEAKER_05]: This is nobody said that a sea of couldn't play basketball.
- 1:10:45[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, I did like that.
- 1:10:52[SPEAKER_07]: I think you get something very interesting, brainwinter.
- 1:10:55[SPEAKER_07]: I think that the in your vision, one of these entrails grabs onto you and yanks you into the sky.
- 1:11:06[SPEAKER_07]: at like a speed that takes your breath away.
- 1:11:09[SPEAKER_07]: And you find yourself looking down on the entire realm in this weird facsimile of the map that you have, but it's not affectionately.
- 1:11:19[SPEAKER_07]: This is the reality of the realm below.
- 1:11:21[SPEAKER_07]: This is the real that your map is depicting.
- 1:11:25[SPEAKER_07]: the entrails sort of wiggle all over the realm forming shapes as they try to communicate stuff to you.
- 1:11:32[SPEAKER_07]: And the very clear thing you see is that in the south you see a head of a wolf made out of these entrails and you see a giant phanged mouth biting into the head of the wolf.
- 1:11:51[SPEAKER_07]: and you fall to Earth as you come out of this vision and you come through with that sensation of falling.
- 1:12:08[SPEAKER_07]: Pascal, you spent some time being a squire, right?
- 1:12:11[SPEAKER_07]: To the Cosmic Night?
- 1:12:13[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know that they squired.
- 1:12:16[SPEAKER_01]: I think that Pasco just worked in the staples the whole time.
- 1:12:20[SPEAKER_07]: There's an interesting thing that happens here.
- 1:12:22[SPEAKER_07]: You feel one of these entrails painlessly from this misty sort of ethereal space you're in.
- 1:12:30[SPEAKER_07]: Shoot into you and go behind you.
- 1:12:33[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, you see that.
- 1:12:35[SPEAKER_07]: Behind you, these entrails are webbing to different sort of bloody clouds in this mist.
- 1:12:42[SPEAKER_07]: And then in the future, it spreads out in front of you and you see the branching paths.
- 1:12:47[SPEAKER_07]: And as you turn around, you can see moments from throughout Pasco's life.
- 1:12:53[SPEAKER_07]: And in the future, you can see several possibilities about what Pasco's life might be.
- 1:12:58[SPEAKER_07]: I think in the immediate past, the first thing you see is Pasco helping Nadia and McDall.
- 1:13:05[SPEAKER_07]: I think that this at moment is emphasized in your life path that is being presented to you by these bloody entrails as a moment that defined where you are right now.
- 1:13:16[SPEAKER_07]: And I think that as you go back, you see moments like that from throughout Pasco's life.
- 1:13:20[SPEAKER_07]: Hasco the Simpleton, Pasco the Coward, whatever you have called yourself and other people have called you, there are moments throughout your life where you are helping people without thinking about it.
- 1:13:31[SPEAKER_01]: This starts to make sense for Pasco.
- 1:13:33[SPEAKER_07]: Beautiful.
- 1:13:35[SPEAKER_07]: And I think you see sort of a visage of the drunk and sear looking at all these memories in your past, sort of like dancing through and looking at them and then merging with the memory of you being knited.
- 1:13:49[SPEAKER_07]: She didn't make a mistake.
- 1:13:51[SPEAKER_07]: She knew exactly who she was nighting.
- 1:13:54[SPEAKER_07]: Do you try to look at your future?
- 1:13:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think Pasco will try to look.
- 1:13:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:14:00[SPEAKER_07]: Do you have any specific questions about your future?
- 1:14:03[SPEAKER_01]: The biggest question that they would have at this point, looking at the images of helping people and that that is their greatest purpose, would be to look into the future and try to scan the timeline options for the one that does the greatest good.
- 1:14:19[SPEAKER_01]: However, Pasco can help the most people at once, or whatever it is before their time is an eye-desended.
- 1:14:27[SPEAKER_07]: You follow one path of these branches and at the end of this branch, you know, you can feel the gut seers guiding you towards like what you desire, how can I do the most good?
- 1:14:37[SPEAKER_07]: And you see that there are still a few possibility branches in this direction of most good.
- 1:14:42[SPEAKER_07]: You see, you weathered, older, graying, ruling, a keep.
- 1:14:50[SPEAKER_07]: holding some kind of power, laying down fair laws, correcting old injustices.
- 1:14:56[SPEAKER_07]: I think you see another path where you plunge your halberd into a shadowy figure that holds some kind of ill-gotten power.
- 1:15:05[SPEAKER_07]: And I think you see you and your compatriots, older, laughing and sharing a moment together, reflecting on kind of journeys that you have yet to have and all the
- 1:15:20[SPEAKER_01]: This gives Sir Pasco a tremendous sense of peace.
- 1:15:31[SPEAKER_07]: And you...
- 1:15:33[SPEAKER_07]: Pull back into the present.
- 1:15:35[SPEAKER_07]: That's the fine entrails detached from each of your mouths and you... An honour for sure.
- 1:15:50[SPEAKER_04]: This is the worst scene.
- 1:15:52[SPEAKER_07]: This one should be called the worst scene.
- 1:15:55[SPEAKER_07]: And all of your clarity is restored.
- 1:15:57[SPEAKER_04]: What is it I guess?
- 1:16:02[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 1:16:03[SPEAKER_03]: See you for your guidance.
- 1:16:05[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, thank you.
- 1:16:06[SPEAKER_08]: I have unfortunate news.
- 1:16:09[SPEAKER_08]: As I feared, the ogre took many people captive and worse nights forcing them to give up their heraldry.
- 1:16:18[SPEAKER_08]: I feel we need to go and assist those people.
- 1:16:21[SPEAKER_08]: Free those captives.
- 1:16:23[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, and I'm guessing if the ogre got up from where we killed it, it's probably heading back to its keep, if nothing else.
- 1:16:30[SPEAKER_04]: So if we need to finish the job on this myth, that's where we need to go.
- 1:16:34[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 1:16:35[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go save those people.
- 1:16:37[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 1:16:38[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go.
- 1:16:39[SPEAKER_08]: It seems that the ogre's keep a sort of makeshift castle is up in the mountains.
- 1:16:47[SPEAKER_04]: So we're gonna have to cross the river.
- 1:16:51[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, did I have a sense of, if it was across the river?
- 1:16:54[SPEAKER_07]: You do have a sense of a cross-river.
- 1:16:56[SPEAKER_07]: It's in the, this like big, mount and range is what you copy.
- 1:17:01[SPEAKER_07]: As you recollect yourself and begin to process what the, what the sear has shown each of you, you hear at the edge of this statue, grove, a whistle.
- 1:17:14[SPEAKER_08]: Who goes there?
- 1:17:16[SPEAKER_08]: Did it sound like an animal whistle?
- 1:17:18[SPEAKER_07]: Like a bird?
- 1:17:19[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, it sounded like a human whistle, maybe?
- 1:17:21[SPEAKER_07]: I'll begin moving in that direction.
- 1:17:23[SPEAKER_07]: You move in that direction, and as you kind of reach the point in the snowfall where you can see, you see a lone rider trudging through the snow, like really trudging his horse.
- 1:17:34[SPEAKER_03]: Hello, fair nights.
- 1:17:40[SPEAKER_03]: Snow's hard, hard ride up here, um, I bring word yes, yes, please Be very travel though.
- 1:17:48[SPEAKER_08]: Yes, take rest.
- 1:17:49[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, yes, yes, sit with us a while We'll give you some food and we have we have some water and stuff so you can revitalize yourself
- 1:17:55[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, please, please, um, I have, are you, uh, the night sent from, from outside the realm that we've been hearing about?
- 1:18:02[SPEAKER_01]: We are.
- 1:18:03[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, by the Rocia.
- 1:18:04[SPEAKER_01]: That's us.
- 1:18:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 1:18:06[SPEAKER_07]: Of course, of course.
- 1:18:07[SPEAKER_07]: Um, I have this, uh, this, uh, letter.
- 1:18:10[SPEAKER_03]: I'll take the letter.
- 1:18:11[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 1:18:12[SPEAKER_03]: Please, rest.
- 1:18:13[SPEAKER_03]: I'll go see you to rest as well.
- 1:18:14[SPEAKER_03]: Have you ever had a full English report?
- 1:18:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'm already setting up the fire.
- 1:18:18[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, what?
- 1:18:19[SPEAKER_04]: We're going to rock your world.
- 1:18:25[SPEAKER_06]: Man, you must be glad that we were at 1-2 and not way somewhere else We're at 1-1.
- 1:18:30[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, you have 1-1.
- 1:18:32[SPEAKER_06]: We couldn't be it couldn't have gone any better for you.
- 1:18:34[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, I'm very lucky So there's snow all this far north, too.
- 1:18:39[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, it seems to have covered an entire room I come from far to the south the spear a tower down by the wood Hexley 39.
- 1:18:50[SPEAKER_08]: Ah, quite far.
- 1:18:51[UNKNOWN]: Yes
- 1:18:52[SPEAKER_07]: We've got snowfall down there, too.
- 1:18:54[SPEAKER_07]: I thought it was maybe localized, but it seems... it's everywhere.
- 1:18:59[SPEAKER_08]: We're hoping to find the reason for the snowfall and obeyed it.
- 1:19:05[SPEAKER_08]: Hostage.
- 1:19:06[SPEAKER_04]: It's also this ogre.
- 1:19:07[SPEAKER_04]: There's... there's a lot happening.
- 1:19:09[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe the ogre is the reason for the snow that could be it, too.
- 1:19:13[SPEAKER_04]: We've got steam-backed armor.
- 1:19:14[SPEAKER_04]: Certainly big convenience.
- 1:19:16[SPEAKER_04]: I've heard that once in a story.
- 1:19:19[SPEAKER_04]: Two birds with one bulk piece on.
- 1:19:22[SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, let me have at that full English.
- 1:19:25[SPEAKER_08]: I'm not right.
- 1:19:26[SPEAKER_08]: Yes, I'm so sorry.
- 1:19:28[SPEAKER_08]: It's just spellin' toxicating.
- 1:19:29[SPEAKER_08]: Yes.
- 1:19:30[SPEAKER_03]: It's delicious.
- 1:19:32[SPEAKER_03]: I live for not the la.
- 1:19:33[SPEAKER_03]: I'm reading three to it.
- 1:19:34[SPEAKER_03]: We've been given them this.
- 1:19:36[SPEAKER_07]: You open up the letter.
- 1:19:37[SPEAKER_07]: It says, I understand you've met my husband.
- 1:19:43[SPEAKER_07]: He, nor the seat of power, are to be trusted.
- 1:19:46[SPEAKER_07]: I kindly request your audience at my key.
- 1:19:51[SPEAKER_07]: signed Vera the war night the war night and an insignia of a howling wolf at the bottom of this letter oh no it's a brand and grips the letter it's been too tight I saw this in the vision to see a grace meet with this insignia you know positive way
- 1:20:19[SPEAKER_03]: in a way that I can only interpret means that the nights may need our help.
- 1:20:25[SPEAKER_03]: All right, well.
- 1:20:26[SPEAKER_04]: We're about to spawn north as we can go, so cross the river through the mountains, take care of an ogre on our way.
- 1:20:33[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 1:20:34[SPEAKER_01]: OK. Messenger.
- 1:20:36[SPEAKER_04]: Yep.
- 1:20:38[SPEAKER_04]: Turn back.
- 1:20:38[SPEAKER_04]: Turn back.
- 1:20:39[SPEAKER_04]: Please.
- 1:20:40[SPEAKER_08]: You say you came from the Spire?
- 1:20:43[SPEAKER_07]: The Spear.
- 1:20:44[SPEAKER_08]: The Spear.
- 1:20:45[SPEAKER_07]: Yep.
- 1:20:46[SPEAKER_08]: And that is where the war night presides.
- 1:20:49[SPEAKER_07]: Yep.
- 1:20:49[SPEAKER_07]: My Lady Vera.
- 1:20:50[SPEAKER_07]: Who's her husband?
- 1:20:52[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, what?
- 1:20:53[SPEAKER_07]: The pigeon night.
- 1:20:54[SPEAKER_01]: Ah.
- 1:20:55[SPEAKER_01]: Pigeon night, yes, yes.
- 1:20:57[SPEAKER_08]: Hmm, a tumultuous marriage, it seems.
- 1:21:00[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even stay in the same place.
- 1:21:02[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, my miss is sleeps in the bedroom next door, and that's not far enough, you know?
- 1:21:07[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 1:21:09[SPEAKER_01]: We all just sort of put it right.
- 1:21:10[SPEAKER_01]: They left it not like, all right.
- 1:21:12[SPEAKER_01]: So, growing up in the stairs, I don't even understand that.
- 1:21:16[SPEAKER_05]: Well, maybe they're kind of like a power, a power couple.
- 1:21:19[SPEAKER_05]: They both run keeps and such.
- 1:21:21[SPEAKER_08]: The letter, it said specifically like come see me as quickly as you can.
- 1:21:25[SPEAKER_07]: It did not have an urgency to it.
- 1:21:27[SPEAKER_07]: It just said, come, I would like to make your acquaintance.
- 1:21:30[SPEAKER_07]: OK. All right, request an audience with you at my keep.
- 1:21:34[SPEAKER_08]: Ruskin does want to ask, turn back if the war night would be offended by delay.
- 1:21:39[SPEAKER_03]: What kind of delay?
- 1:21:43[SPEAKER_08]: Well, there is an ogre in these parts, and they have taken many people captive.
- 1:21:47[SPEAKER_08]: We wish to go free those people before making our way down to the spear, but would not want to offend.
- 1:21:55[SPEAKER_07]: Oh yeah, whom I'd say we'll offend the good lady.
- 1:21:58[SPEAKER_07]: I mean take your time.
- 1:21:59[SPEAKER_07]: I can send her a turn message.
- 1:22:01[SPEAKER_07]: I'm just the messenger.
- 1:22:03[SPEAKER_08]: She's an honorable knight.
- 1:22:04[SPEAKER_08]: Surely she would appreciate us freeing these poor captives first.
- 1:22:08[SPEAKER_04]: See, the myths and all that.
- 1:22:10[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, she took the oath.
- 1:22:11[SPEAKER_04]: Let's cross the river to the east and hit south and will barely be a couple of days out of our way.
- 1:22:16[SPEAKER_07]: Is there a message you'd like me to take back to the good lady?
- 1:22:20[SPEAKER_03]: I think exactly that's what meets the lady as soon as we can, but first we'll do it as a yoga.
- 1:22:26[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 1:22:27[SPEAKER_01]: Is it going to be a problem if we go back to the Keep of the Pigeon night, because I want to see if I can get Andy back?
- 1:22:34[SPEAKER_07]: I'm told to steer clear of the Pigeon night, but you don't work for my boss, so you're probably fine.
- 1:22:41[SPEAKER_07]: Maybe don't mention his wife, I don't know.
- 1:22:44[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, okay.
- 1:22:45[SPEAKER_07]: Sometimes they're up, sometimes they're down.
- 1:22:47[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, right, marriage.
- 1:22:49[SPEAKER_07]: Same with me in the misses.
- 1:22:50[SPEAKER_07]: Uh-huh.
- 1:22:51[SPEAKER_03]: Again, dead penster from the side.
- 1:22:54[SPEAKER_07]: He desperately wants you guys to laugh at his jokes.
- 1:23:00[SPEAKER_04]: This guy did ride a number of hex leagues.
- 1:23:02[SPEAKER_04]: Hit the snow to give us a message.
- 1:23:04[SPEAKER_04]: The least we can do is laugh at him.
- 1:23:06[SPEAKER_01]: I gave him a full English.
- 1:23:07[SPEAKER_08]: You know what, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me
- 1:23:26[SPEAKER_08]: Ruskids like sits up a little bit taller and then remembers sharply that his ribs are in church and it's like, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm,
- 1:23:39[SPEAKER_03]: Right, well, I'm off to you in a few days, maybe a week.
- 1:23:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, safe journeys.
- 1:23:45[SPEAKER_03]: So you mean I survived the trip home?
- 1:23:47[SPEAKER_07]: It was a bit harrowing.
- 1:23:49[SPEAKER_04]: Say, how do the miss is for us?
- 1:23:50[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, I wouldn't say I didn't miss it.
- 1:23:52[SPEAKER_07]: Say, how do you feel about it?
- 1:23:57[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, I'm sorry.
- 1:23:59[SPEAKER_07]: As we gather our things to make a journey, could I get one last wilderness roll before you leave this hex?
- 1:24:06[SPEAKER_08]: So D6?
- 1:24:07[SPEAKER_07]: D6 for me?
- 1:24:08[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, do it!
- 1:24:09[SPEAKER_08]: Hmm!
- 1:24:11[SPEAKER_08]: Five.
- 1:24:12[SPEAKER_07]: Five.
- 1:24:14[SPEAKER_07]: You leave the sanctum of the gutseer behind and you journey which direction?
- 1:24:20[SPEAKER_07]: I assume southeast.
- 1:24:21[SPEAKER_04]: We're off south east to the beginning of the mountains, and then cross the river.
- 1:24:27[SPEAKER_04]: Down south to find the yoga.
- 1:24:29[SPEAKER_01]: Find us a zombie.
- 1:24:31[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, God.
- 1:24:31[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, hmm, good.
- 1:24:34[SPEAKER_05]: Not call it that until we know for sure I'm pretty sure it was it was in at a hole in its head and then it walked away, so, you know That's a zombie.
- 1:24:42[SPEAKER_08]: Myths are mysterious things you never know zombies are mysterious too.
- 1:24:46[SPEAKER_05]: I'm saying one of the same
- 1:24:51[SPEAKER_07]: As you leave the guts here sanked in behind, I think a renewed sense of your nighthood, your mission, the journey ahead sits within each of you.
- 1:25:00[SPEAKER_07]: There's a question I asked you in session zero, why are you a night?
- 1:25:03[SPEAKER_07]: And as you ride this probably multi-day journey ahead to the ogres castle, I'm curious for each of you what the answer to that question is right now that is going through your head.
- 1:25:14[SPEAKER_07]: And I think I'll start with brand one.
- 1:25:19[SPEAKER_03]: As I ride on the back of Princess, dragging the sled that carries the crate and now surpass her.
- 1:25:26[SPEAKER_03]: That's a top of it.
- 1:25:29[SPEAKER_03]: I think though right now my seat bears the weight, I share it.
- 1:25:34[SPEAKER_03]: This way to this statue and who represents on my back.
- 1:25:38[SPEAKER_03]: As the reason why I'm a knight at all is to protect the realm she gave her life to protect.
- 1:25:44[SPEAKER_03]: Beyond that say, have no real love for it.
- 1:25:48[SPEAKER_08]: Serrescan is feeling slightly improved, though still pretty worse for where, and is really feeling the weight of that, and has always felt very strongly that they are a night because of the honor it brings, because the things that you do become stories, and if you are lucky, you become stories.
- 1:26:10[SPEAKER_08]: and is really bolstered by the pride of that and of knowing that despite this terrible wound, despite feeling worse than they ever have before physically, mentally and spiritually.
- 1:26:25[SPEAKER_08]: This is what they always were going to do.
- 1:26:28[SPEAKER_08]: It was to defeat Noger, free of people, become a storied legend.
- 1:26:35[SPEAKER_04]: So Andrew has a debt to repay, and a night to become,
- 1:26:41[SPEAKER_01]: Serpascos realized that throughout their own life they've had so much instability and unsafe de and also just being invisible to most people and so our Serpascos now feels a strong sense of exactly what they should do, which is there may be not the most helpful in a fight but every person they encounter they're going to make sure that those people feel safe and seen.
- 1:27:07[SPEAKER_07]: and we see an echo of your seal sitting on those knitting needles of Nadia and McDall protecting them on their journey as they safely arrive somewhere off in the distance to the pigeon knights castle.
- 1:27:21[SPEAKER_07]: As our four knights journey on to seek the myths, honor the Sears, and in fact protect the realm.
- 1:27:33[SPEAKER_07]: Join us next time to see where they land.
- 1:27:38[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, he's so epic.
- 1:27:40[SPEAKER_08]: Very exciting.
- 1:27:41[SPEAKER_05]: You might say it's myth mythic.
- 1:27:44[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 1:27:44[SPEAKER_03]: It is mythic.
- 1:27:46[SPEAKER_03]: Whoa.
- 1:27:47[SPEAKER_03]: You might even say it's... Bastion, not, no, sorry, wait, hold on to you.
- 1:27:51[SPEAKER_07]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,

- 1:29:18[SPEAKER_05]: Right?
- 1:29:18[SPEAKER_05]: What are the fangs?
- 1:29:20[SPEAKER_05]: The pigeon.
- 1:29:21[SPEAKER_01]: I was thinking that pigeons don't have fangs!
- 1:29:23[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they too would have the exact same length.
- 1:29:26[SPEAKER_08]: Why don't they all?
- 1:29:27[SPEAKER_07]: The fangued fangs.
- 1:29:28[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, oh my gosh.
- 1:29:30[SPEAKER_08]: This is actually a vampire story.
- 1:29:34[SPEAKER_00]: And remember, if you're having fun, you're already doing it right.
