- 0:00Speaker 1: So what do you have for us yesterday? A real
- 0:03Speaker 1: good piece of motivation that makes your quest to become
- 0:06Speaker 1: successful a little bit simpler. You know, oftentimes people are
- 0:11Speaker 1: stuck in a rut because they can't think, they way
- 0:15Speaker 1: clear to see the end result. What I mean by is,
- 0:20Speaker 1: some people make such lofty goals and then they sit
- 0:24Speaker 1: there without a plan of attack to achieve that lofty goal,
- 0:29Speaker 1: until they've created a goal that seems so daunting that
- 0:32Speaker 1: they don't even start the process of a trying to
- 0:36Speaker 1: accomplish it. For example. And this doesn't have to be
- 0:39Speaker 1: the case. I'm just using this as an example. Let's
- 0:42Speaker 1: say you want to be a millionaire, and you say, wow,
- 0:46Speaker 1: I want to make a million dollars, and then you
- 0:49Speaker 1: start thinking of how to make the million dollars, and
- 0:52Speaker 1: because you can't, it becomes so daunting. Making a million
- 0:56Speaker 1: dollars is difficult. If it were easy, wouldn't you do
- 0:59Speaker 1: it by Friday? Wouldn't you? Of course you would, But
- 1:05Speaker 1: it's a little more difficult than that. So here's what
- 1:08Speaker 1: I had to learn in my life. Everybody listening to
- 1:12Speaker 1: this was born with a gift. It's inside of you.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Because God is very fair, He didn't put it on
- 1:19Speaker 1: a mountaintop. He didn't hide it under a rock. It's
- 1:23Speaker 1: in you, and your gift is the thing that you
- 1:25Speaker 1: do the absolute best with the least amount of effort.
- 1:29Speaker 1: In that lies your greatest chance for success. There's a
- 1:33Speaker 1: scripture that says your gift will make room for you
- 1:38Speaker 1: and put you in the presence of great men. Let's
- 1:41Speaker 1: just look at the first part of that, your gift
- 1:44Speaker 1: will make room for you. My interpretation of that has
- 1:48Speaker 1: meant what my gift has done for me. It has
- 1:51Speaker 1: allowed me to spread out, It has taken me places
- 1:54Speaker 1: I never dreamed i'd go. Your gift will do the
- 1:57Speaker 1: same thing for you. So now let's just talk about
- 2:01Speaker 1: your ability to get to the million. I think it's
- 2:04Speaker 1: what your gift because if that's that he gave you
- 2:08Speaker 1: and instilled it you at birth, was to make room
- 2:11Speaker 1: for you. Here's your chance. Now how do I do that? Steve?
- 2:14Speaker 1: I call it to maximize your effort by ten theory.
- 2:18Speaker 1: It's just something I came up with driving when I
- 2:20Speaker 1: was homeless and coming up with how to make it,
- 2:23Speaker 1: and I discovered something. All of you have something that
- 2:26Speaker 1: some would pay you ten dollars to do. Some of
- 2:29Speaker 1: you paint, some of you teach, some of you babysit tutors.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Some of you work with your hands, some of you
- 2:38Speaker 1: can sing, some of you can choreograph. Some of you
- 2:43Speaker 1: it's so many things. Cut grass, I mean, play the pianos.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Some of you do something. Some of y'all work on cars,
- 2:49Speaker 1: some of y'all drive. But all of you have something
- 2:52Speaker 1: that you will do that someone will give you ten
- 2:55Speaker 1: dollars to do. All of you have something that someone
- 2:58Speaker 1: will pay you ten dollars because you do something that
- 3:01Speaker 1: someone else can't do. So now all you gotta do
- 3:05Speaker 1: instead of trying to figure out how to make a
- 3:06Speaker 1: million dollars is go make the ten dollars that you're
- 3:09Speaker 1: able to make. Once you make that ten dollars, I
- 3:11Speaker 1: want you to do it ten more times. When you
- 3:13Speaker 1: do it ten more times, you now have one hundred dollars.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Once you have one hundred dollars, it's very simple. Do
- 3:18Speaker 1: the same thing you did to make the one hundred
- 3:20Speaker 1: dollars ten more times. You now have one thousand dollars. See,
- 3:24Speaker 1: you don't have to keep thinking of something else to do.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Just keep doing the same thing that you've been doing.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Just do it multiply the effort. It's the effort that
- 3:32Speaker 1: maximizes and brings about the fruition of what your life
- 3:35Speaker 1: can be. So, if you make a thousand dollars and
- 3:38Speaker 1: you do that ten more times, I have news for you.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Now have ten thousand dollars. Now. Now, in order to
- 3:45Speaker 1: make one hundred thousand, you might need a little bit
- 3:47Speaker 1: of help. You might need to hire somebody and help
- 3:48Speaker 1: you do the thing that you do. But if you
- 3:50Speaker 1: make ten thousand dollars and you do what you did
- 3:53Speaker 1: to make ten thousand dollars, which is the same thing
- 3:55Speaker 1: you did to make ten dollars, if you do it
- 3:57Speaker 1: ten more times, you now have one hundred dollars. Now,
- 4:01Speaker 1: listen to me, my friends. Once you have one hundred
- 4:03Speaker 1: thousand dollars, I can assure you you are going to
- 4:06Speaker 1: need help because in order to maximize one hundred thousand dollars,
- 4:10Speaker 1: you have to have some like minded people around you.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Nobody gets to the top alone. Nobody becomes successful and
- 4:16Speaker 1: wealthy by themselves. They form partnerships, relationships, they get employees.
- 4:21Speaker 1: But once you make one hundred thousand dollars doing the
- 4:24Speaker 1: same thing you did to make ten dollars if you
- 4:27Speaker 1: do it ten more times, I have news for you,
- 4:30Speaker 1: my friends. Congratulations, you have just made one million dollars
- 4:34Speaker 1: with a ten dollar idea. Stop trying to figure out
- 4:37Speaker 1: how to make the million. But all you got to
- 4:39Speaker 1: do is take your ten dollar gift that God has
- 4:41Speaker 1: put in you. It's a million dollar gift that you have.
- 4:44Speaker 1: You just haven't broken it down inch by inch. Anything's
- 4:47Speaker 1: a cinch. And maximize the efforts. That's how you become successful.
- 4:51Speaker 1: These jokes that pay me what I make now, it's
- 4:54Speaker 1: the same jokes that pay me twenty five dollars a night.
- 4:57Speaker 1: They the same jokes. It's all English. This is not
- 5:01Speaker 1: in another language. I don't know no more words now
- 5:05Speaker 1: than I knew then. I've taken these twenty five dollar
- 5:09Speaker 1: jokes and I maximize them over and over and over
- 5:14Speaker 1: and over and over and over and over. It's the
- 5:17Speaker 1: same jokes I was telling. Babysitters who charge fifty dollars
- 5:22Speaker 1: to watch kids. Babysitters end up opening up daycare centers.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Daycare centers turned into franchises crim Dela crim Monossori schools.
- 5:34Speaker 1: These are national franchises. Somebody was just babysitting my partner
- 5:40Speaker 1: used to cut grass fus three dollars in the front,
- 5:43Speaker 1: three dollars in the back. He got a landscape. Come
- 5:47Speaker 1: here in Cleveland. He make four million dollars a year.
- 5:49Speaker 1: You know what he do? He cut grass, same six
- 5:52Speaker 1: dollar grass cutting he been doing. He check out some trucks. Now,
- 5:56Speaker 1: what is it that you do that somebody will pay
- 5:59Speaker 1: you ten dollars that you can maximize your effort for
- 6:01Speaker 1: and turn it into your million for trying to figure
- 6:04Speaker 1: out how to make the million. Take your ten dollars
- 6:06Speaker 1: skills set and start hammering it and beating it and
- 6:10Speaker 1: working it and grinding and hustling and multiplying and magnifying it,
- 6:14Speaker 1: and you'll make a million dollars. That's my closing remarks.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Thank y'all very much.
