- Lucas: Welcome back to Learn Swedish with Fexingo. I'm Lucas. Luna: And I'm Luna. Episode 53! Can you believe it? Lucas: I know, it's amazing. And today we're going to talk about action words – verbs. Luna: Oh, I love action. What kind of verbs? Lucas: Three very common ones: gå, göra, and se. Luna: Gå, göra, se. Okay, let's hear them. Lucas: First, gå. It means 'to go' or 'to walk.' Say it with me: gå. Luna: Gå. Lucas: Good. Now, a full sentence: Jag går till affären. That means 'I go to the store.' Let's break it: Jag – I, går – go, till affären – to the store. Jag går till affären. Luna: Jag går till affären. Hmm, that's a good one. Lucas: Exactly. You can use går with other places too. Like Jag går till skolan – I go to school. Luna: Jag går till skolan. Got it. Lucas: Next verb: göra. It means 'to do' or 'to make.' Göra. Luna: Göra. That's a little trickier. Lucas: You'll get it. Example: Jag gör frukost – I make breakfast. Jag – I, gör – make, frukost – breakfast. Jag gör frukost. Luna: Jag gör frukost. That sounds like something I do every morning. Lucas: Perfect. And you can also say Jag gör läxor – I do homework. Luna: Jag gör läxor. Not as fun as breakfast. Lucas: I agree. Last verb: se. It means 'to see.' Se. Luna: Se. Lucas: Great. Example: Jag ser en katt – I see a cat. Ser is the present tense. Jag ser en katt. Luna: Jag ser en katt. Aww, I want to see a cat. Lucas: Me too. Let's practice all three. I'll say a sentence, you repeat. Jag går till parken. Luna: Jag går till parken. Lucas: Jag gör kaffe. Luna: Jag gör kaffe. Lucas: Jag ser en hund. Luna: Jag ser en hund. Oh, I see a dog! That's fun. Lucas: You're a natural. Now let's mix it up. I'll ask you a question: Vad gör du? – What do you do? Luna: Vad gör du? Uhh, Jag gör... Jag gör kaffe! Lucas: Excellent! And where do you go? Var går du? Luna: Var går du? Jag går till köket – to the kitchen. Lucas: Perfect. And what do you see? Vad ser du? Luna: Vad ser du? Jag ser en lampa. Lucas: Wow, you're building sentences. Let's do a quick recap. Today we learned three verbs: gå, göra, se. Luna: Gå, göra, se. And their present tense: går, gör, ser. Lucas: Exactly. And you can use them in simple sentences. Remember, verbs change form depending on who's doing the action, but for now, we're focusing on jag – I. Luna: Right. So I can say Jag går, jag gör, jag ser. Lucas: You've got it. Thanks for joining us on Learn Swedish with Fexingo. Keep practicing and see you next time. Luna: Hej då!
