- 0:00Speaker 1: Join this morning by mister Andrew Larson from Larsen Home
- 0:03Speaker 1: Services Online Larsenhome Services dot com. That's l A R
- 0:08Speaker 1: s O N Home Services dot com. Andrew, how are
- 0:13Speaker 1: you doing this morning?
- 0:15Speaker 2: It's raining, it's pouring.
- 0:17Speaker 3: How's the old man doing.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Ah, you're doing, You're doing.
- 0:20Speaker 3: I'm doing good, doing good, doing good.
- 0:23Speaker 2: You know it's uh, it's been really dry.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it's.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Been really really dry. I've got a pond at my house,
- 0:30Speaker 2: and I owned this property since twenty twenty. I've never
- 0:34Speaker 2: seen it so low goow. So this is a wonderful
- 0:37Speaker 2: thing to see. Right, it's actually pouring at my house.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Get it, get that pond filled up, get those gutters work.
- 0:43Speaker 1: And we were a funny story, Andrew. And as we
- 0:46Speaker 1: talked this morning with Andrew Larson of lars Home Service,
- 0:47Speaker 1: I mentioned the website Larstorm Services dot Com didn't match
- 0:50Speaker 1: the telephone number six so eight five three five forty
- 0:53Speaker 1: three forty three. That's five three five four three four three. Also,
- 0:56Speaker 1: if you've got a question for Andrew, one of the
- 0:58Speaker 1: things that I don't know we take enough advance of,
- 1:00Speaker 1: Andrew is the opportunity for folks to call in during
- 1:03Speaker 1: our segments and they're always welcome of I know you
- 1:05Speaker 1: love questions calls, those type of things. Six eight three
- 1:08Speaker 1: two one thirteen ten. That's six eight three two one
- 1:11Speaker 1: thirteen ten gets you on the air with Andrew Larson
- 1:12Speaker 1: from Larst Home Services. We are at a at a
- 1:15Speaker 1: cross country banquet last night, and of course all the
- 1:18Speaker 1: parents are sitting at their uh, at their table as
- 1:21Speaker 1: far away from those kiddos as possible because they're.
- 1:23Speaker 3: So dang loud.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:25Speaker 1: But you want to guess what we were talking about
- 1:27Speaker 1: around the table last night as as as the parents.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Were gathering gutters, living.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Gutters, gutters and specifically down spouts, and I said, I said,
- 1:39Speaker 1: I said there you should well you were you're and
- 1:42Speaker 1: this is this is not a joke. You were met
- 1:44Speaker 1: I talked about you. I said, you know, I've been
- 1:46Speaker 1: doing the show with Andrew for years now. And one
- 1:49Speaker 1: of the things I learned because uh, the one the
- 1:52Speaker 1: one parent had commented about noticing on a house that
- 1:55Speaker 1: had larger down spouts, I said, you know, I learned
- 1:58Speaker 1: from Andrew Larson. I said that that those bigger down spouts,
- 2:01Speaker 1: aside from allowing like more to breed and water to
- 2:04Speaker 1: go down they also work like there's like more suction.
- 2:08Speaker 1: It's almost like a vacuum, pulling that water down and
- 2:11Speaker 1: out and away from and shooting it out away from
- 2:13Speaker 1: your house. I said, it's important to have those. It's
- 2:17Speaker 1: it's more than just looking good. It's also about functioning well,
- 2:21Speaker 1: isn't it. Wow?
- 2:22Speaker 2: You know you know that you're getting older and you've
- 2:25Speaker 2: really become a parent, and that's your conversation. You know, Yeah,
- 2:31Speaker 2: you guys probably weren't even drinking.
- 2:32Speaker 1: No, no, we were drinking drinking bottled water and gatorade.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Yes, no, obviously it is very important. And you know
- 2:40Speaker 2: you text me and you usually text me every morning,
- 2:43Speaker 2: and what do you want to talk about? And you know,
- 2:46Speaker 2: how how long have we been doing this? I don't
- 2:48Speaker 2: even know.
- 2:49Speaker 3: We're probably getting close to ten years. And that's not
- 2:51Speaker 3: an exaggeration.
- 2:52Speaker 2: We may have had a long time. Yeah, So I
- 2:55Speaker 2: think about the show and what do I want to
- 2:57Speaker 2: talk about? Wow? If you want to talk about gutters
- 2:59Speaker 2: roughing your insulation, which is stuff that's very near and
- 3:02Speaker 2: dear to my heart. And I do consider myself an
- 3:04Speaker 2: expert in all of these, in all of these areas,
- 3:07Speaker 2: but that, to me, that's not necessarily just what this
- 3:09Speaker 2: show is about it We want I want to help people.
- 3:13Speaker 2: You know, we do our podcast and we get a
- 3:16Speaker 2: lot you know, obviously social media is easier to interact,
- 3:20Speaker 2: right It's it's very easy to go on Spotify or
- 3:23Speaker 2: or or iTunes or Facebook, Instagram wherever the podcast is
- 3:30Speaker 2: and ask questions and we have somebody who monitors it,
- 3:33Speaker 2: and then we try to answer questions. On the show.
- 3:36Speaker 2: We reward people with what I call a little Wisconsin love.
- 3:40Speaker 2: What else would that be besides a quick trip gift
- 3:42Speaker 2: card for asking good questions? And I kind of would
- 3:45Speaker 2: like to do the same thing here. I mean, I
- 3:47Speaker 2: know there's a lot of people that have been listening
- 3:49Speaker 2: to this for for many years, and I know that
- 3:52Speaker 2: you gain new listeners. But I want to help people
- 3:56Speaker 2: when it comes to home improvement or construction of any sort.
- 4:01Speaker 2: So when it's asked the experts. Am I an expert
- 4:04Speaker 2: in everything? Absolutely not, but I know people who are.
- 4:09Speaker 2: So if you've got questions about you know, Gunter's roofing insulation,
- 4:13Speaker 2: that's an easy I'll easy one, I'll answer it, and
- 4:15Speaker 2: many other home improvement things. But it could be literally anything,
- 4:19Speaker 2: foundation work, basement, waterproofing, siding, foundation, framing, landscaping, you name it.
- 4:27Speaker 2: I want to answer those questions. And I have an
- 4:29Speaker 2: email address that our appointment centers look at very closely.
- 4:33Speaker 2: And I know I've talked about Larson Kinni and Larson
- 4:36Speaker 2: Home Services and Kini Home Services. This email address goes
- 4:40Speaker 2: to We have a lot of shared people in our
- 4:43Speaker 2: call center when we set appointments is shared so that
- 4:46Speaker 2: the email address is actually called office at Larsonkini dot com.
- 4:51Speaker 2: They all monitor that they look at that constantly every day.
- 4:55Speaker 2: So if you have any questions that you would like
- 4:58Speaker 2: answered and I can answer on the air, just email
- 5:01Speaker 2: that it's office at Larson Keeney l A R s
- 5:05Speaker 2: O n k E n e e y Kenie and
- 5:13Speaker 2: I can answer it on the show. Because I really
- 5:15Speaker 2: like the show to be a lot more interactive. Yes, honestly,
- 5:19Speaker 2: I start running out of ideas and I don't want
- 5:23Speaker 2: it to just be let's talk about roof, let's talk
- 5:25Speaker 2: about gutters today. Obviously we'll sprinkle that in, but I
- 5:30Speaker 2: would love to have help people with specific questions, maybe
- 5:35Speaker 2: get a little bit more in depth than what Google
- 5:37Speaker 2: can get you. Maybe some first hand, real world experience
- 5:42Speaker 2: instead of AI answering it because now I think Google
- 5:44Speaker 2: AI answers everything on Google now, which I like, you
- 5:49Speaker 2: know it is. But I have experiences. I have many, many,
- 5:54Speaker 2: many stories of those experiences throughout the years. And uh,
- 5:58Speaker 2: but please know office at Larson Kini dot com. Ask
- 6:02Speaker 2: questions and we can answer them on the show and
- 6:04Speaker 2: make it more personal and interactive.
- 6:07Speaker 1: And that's office at Larson l A R s O
- 6:11Speaker 1: N keenye k e n e e y dot com.
- 6:14Speaker 1: All one word Office at Larson Kini dot com. If
- 6:16Speaker 1: you want to remember how to spell keenie, it's it's
- 6:19Speaker 1: one E two e's three e's makes keenie. So you
- 6:22Speaker 1: got first e N, two e's y, you get keenie
- 6:26Speaker 1: one two three key right, that's right, that's three e's.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Three e's. It's not a real common last name, No, it's.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I always want to add an a or make the
- 6:36Speaker 1: first two e's. It's it's one e followed by uh
- 6:40Speaker 1: an n and then two.
- 6:41Speaker 2: E's or yeah and well, And to be completely honest
- 6:44Speaker 2: with you, it's probably gonna get easier because I think
- 6:47Speaker 2: the beginning of the year we might do a little
- 6:49Speaker 2: bit of a rebrand it look, it's just it's almost
- 6:54Speaker 2: necessary because we've gotten you know, I personally, I think
- 6:59Speaker 2: you do the right thing and good things will happen.
- 7:01Speaker 2: But me and Josh Keeney has been my best friend
- 7:04Speaker 2: for many, many years, and we started our companies at
- 7:07Speaker 2: the same time. We grew our companies together, just on
- 7:10Speaker 2: opposite sides of the state, and we always did the
- 7:14Speaker 2: exact same thing. We always did gutters, roofing, and insulation,
- 7:16Speaker 2: and we worked together. And then we started sharing people,
- 7:19Speaker 2: marketing director, social media people, call center, hr accounting, And
- 7:24Speaker 2: now I think it's kind of now we're just getting
- 7:26Speaker 2: to the point where it's like maybe we just join them,
- 7:29Speaker 2: so we'll be coming out with more about that. I
- 7:32Speaker 2: don't want it to be confusing. We literally are the
- 7:34Speaker 2: exact same companies. My instamators could go work up there,
- 7:37Speaker 2: they could come work down here. My gutter installers installation
- 7:40Speaker 2: installers could go work up there. They could come work
- 7:43Speaker 2: down here, which we do all the time. We share people,
- 7:47Speaker 2: so it's most likely going to end up being larsen
- 7:49Speaker 2: kiniomeservices dot com, just because it's the best way to
- 7:56Speaker 2: do for us for branding and marketing to get a
- 7:58Speaker 2: hold of everybody, but yes, office at Larson Kinnie dot com.
- 8:04Speaker 2: You can google it if you can't remember how to
- 8:05Speaker 2: spell it. But bring the questions anything related to construction, landscaping,
- 8:12Speaker 2: home improvement, anything at all. And we can really dive
- 8:16Speaker 2: into these questions during the show.
- 8:18Speaker 1: And I think one of the great and for folks
- 8:20Speaker 1: that have listened to the show for years. One of
- 8:22Speaker 1: the things you know right away about Andrew is he's
- 8:24Speaker 1: got He's gonna give it to you straight. Is is
- 8:26Speaker 1: if you've got a question, you want the you want
- 8:29Speaker 1: the the honest to goodness answer answer, Andrew will give
- 8:32Speaker 1: that to you. And that's a great h that's a
- 8:34Speaker 1: great thing having somebody that that's there to give you
- 8:37Speaker 1: those answers, give you those keys, give you that insight,
- 8:40Speaker 1: a great opportunity for you. Again, you can call during
- 8:42Speaker 1: the show, or even better if you get time and
- 8:43Speaker 1: you get into the office, send an email to Andrew. Again,
- 8:46Speaker 1: that's office at Larsonkini dot com. That's office at Larsonkini
- 8:50Speaker 1: dot com. Again, it doesn't have to be about roofs,
- 8:53Speaker 1: doesn't have to be about gutters, it doesn't have to
- 8:54Speaker 1: be about insulation. It can be anything related. You get
- 8:58Speaker 1: an expert at your fingertips.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Answer your question will be easy ones to answer. Yeah,
- 9:02Speaker 2: but I'm sure people that listen to this on a
- 9:05Speaker 2: regular basis get sick of learning about yes and relation.
- 9:12Speaker 2: We could make it anything. I do remember back in
- 9:14Speaker 2: the day, Sean at the at the I don't know
- 9:16Speaker 2: what what it was called then, but now it's iHeart Studio. Yes,
- 9:20Speaker 2: people getting calls, Yeah, it happened regularly. Yes, and we
- 9:25Speaker 2: used to do the show for a full hour on Saturdays. Yes,
- 9:29Speaker 2: back we had we had a lot of people call in.
- 9:33Speaker 2: But that was a long time ago.
- 9:35Speaker 3: That was that was a little more than Yeah, that was.
- 9:38Speaker 2: I don't know who that was. That was a while ago.
- 9:40Speaker 3: That was good stuff. Yeah, that was.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Great getting questions and you know, again it's about helping people.
- 9:47Speaker 2: We get some great questions. We just we just did
- 9:50Speaker 2: a podcast on d y I versus hiring a professional,
- 9:53Speaker 2: and let me tell you, we got some really good
- 9:55Speaker 2: questions and I will give it to people straight.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Yes.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Can I do this by myself? Well you can. I
- 10:03Speaker 2: wouldn't recommend it, yeah, you know, it depends on your expertise.
- 10:07Speaker 2: But if you're if you're having to YouTube a really
- 10:12Speaker 2: intricate or serious home improvement project to watch videos on
- 10:15Speaker 2: how to do it. I don't know if I would.
- 10:18Speaker 2: I was a serial DYI or for a long time
- 10:21Speaker 2: because it's really all I could afford. And I can
- 10:23Speaker 2: tell you I did some work that wasn't the best.
- 10:29Speaker 1: I think about some of the stories that you've shared
- 10:31Speaker 1: over the years about about encounters of roofing jobs, specifically
- 10:37Speaker 1: where we're like, you know, father, father in law, uncle, homeowner,
- 10:42Speaker 1: all get together and they did it over a weekend,
- 10:44Speaker 1: only to realize they didn't do a very good job,
- 10:46Speaker 1: and they're trying to save money, and at the end
- 10:48Speaker 1: of the day, not only did they not save that money,
- 10:51Speaker 1: there's all that waste created, all that time lost, and
- 10:54Speaker 1: you think about just doing it the right the first
- 10:56Speaker 1: time and again. Andrew would love to hear from you,
- 10:59Speaker 1: of course if you were. You're on Facebook and social
- 11:01Speaker 1: media as well, make sure you follow and find Larson
