- 0:02Speaker 2: And good morning, Cubby. As we mentioned in the traffic, U.N.
- 0:04Speaker 2: General Assembly gets underway today. So we're looking at gridlock days.
- 0:08Speaker 2: President Trump is in town and he will be meeting
- 0:11Speaker 2: with Mayor Mamdani before getting underway with U.N. General Assembly.
- 0:16Speaker 2: He's also going to meet with French President Macron ahead
- 0:19Speaker 2: of the assembly and do one of those sideline meetings
- 0:23Speaker 2: with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at some point this week.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Senator Cory Booker says that President Trump's ban of several
- 0:30Speaker 2: major news outlets from the White House is unconstitutional. He
- 0:34Speaker 2: said Trump has, quote, no regard for the First Amendment.
- 0:38Speaker 2: And this very disturbing news that supermodel Cindy Crawford's son
- 0:42Speaker 2: has passed away just 27 years old.
- 0:45Speaker 1: The L.A.
- 0:45Speaker 2: County medical examiner says that Presley Gerber passed away at
- 0:49Speaker 2: a rehab facility on Sunday and the family is asking
- 0:53Speaker 2: for privacy. Gas prices holding steady at $ 4. 47 a gallon
- 0:58Speaker 2: on average if you live in California, $ 6. 16 a.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Gallon. I was talking to a buddy who's a truck driver.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06Speaker 1: He drives 18-wheelers, and they put in diesel. Uh-oh. How
- 1:10Speaker 1: much do you think it costs to fill an empty 18-wheeler?
- 1:13Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh. I can't even begin to guess.
- 1:15Speaker 1: $ 2, 100.
- 1:15Speaker 2: $ 2, 100.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Okay. And they move America. Yeah. Trucks.
- 1:22Speaker 2: So that's why we're paying a lot for groceries and
- 1:24Speaker 2: everything else.
- 1:25Speaker 1: But always forget about the diesel part.
- 1:27Speaker 2: The diesel is really high.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Everything's high, but like the diesel is like, whoa, 650
- 1:32Speaker 1: or something?
- 1:32Speaker 2: Crazy high.
- 1:33Speaker 1: That's crazy high. Okay. I'm going to get crazy high
- 1:35Speaker 1: right now.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Sports, baseball, Mets lost to the Phillies 7-2, Yanks lost
- 1:40Speaker 2: to the Diamondbacks 8-4, and the Jets lost to the
- 1:43Speaker 2: Packers 2017 in overtime. Giants are going to play the
- 1:46Speaker 2: Rams tonight at 8-15. And yeah, Covey, I thought of
- 1:49Speaker 2: you because, you know, we love the moon and the stars.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Scientists have discovered an enormous crater on the moon. And
- 1:55Speaker 2: this just came out in Science Advances. It says the
- 1:58Speaker 2: crater measures about 728 feet across, 141 feet deep, and
- 2:04Speaker 2: it was created somewhere between April and May of 2024. Recent.
- 2:08Speaker 2: It's a brand new crater. A NASA blog says researchers
- 2:12Speaker 2: believe a fragment of an asteroid or a comet, possibly
- 2:15Speaker 2: the size of a three- to six-story building... hit the
- 2:18Speaker 2: lunar surface and created this crater. And scientists say an
- 2:22Speaker 2: impact of that size only happens on the moon once
- 2:25Speaker 2: every blue moon? No, once every 130 years. Researchers wrote
- 2:29Speaker 2: that the event constitutes a statistically rare, once-in-a-lifetime observation.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I bet you there's some skateboarders that would love to
- 2:36Speaker 1: go and just do their thing inside that crater.
- 2:39Speaker 2: That's quite a crater, yeah.
