- 0:00Speaker 1: So here from manager Steven Vogt. But first, a look
- 0:03Speaker 1: at the Northeast Ohio Ford dealers out-of-town scoreboard. And there's
- 0:08Speaker 1: a smattering of play this afternoon in the big leagues.
- 0:11Speaker 1: They have just gone final in Philadelphia, where the Phillies
- 0:14Speaker 1: held off a late rally by the Padres and win
- 0:17Speaker 1: it by a final score of 6-4. Adelise Garcia with
- 0:21Speaker 1: a home run in that game. Other action. In the
- 0:25Speaker 1: major leagues this afternoon, the Brewers with a home tilt
- 0:28Speaker 1: against the Giants. San Francisco leading that game 6-3 in
- 0:33Speaker 1: the top half of the sixth inning. Orioles are blasting
- 0:35Speaker 1: the Red Sox as they took apart Brian Baio in
- 0:38Speaker 1: the first inning for six runs. It's 8-1 Baltimore, bottom
- 0:42Speaker 1: of the eighth at Fenway Park. And that is it
- 0:45Speaker 1: in terms of day baseball in the major leagues in
- 0:48Speaker 1: addition to our game here. Stay with us. We'll have
- 0:51Speaker 1: the highlights and manager Steven Vogt after a 2-1 New
- 0:54Speaker 1: York victory over the Guardians. Welcome back to Guardians Wrap-Up
- 1:03Speaker 1: following a 2-1 Yankees win, and it was Cleveland that
- 1:07Speaker 1: took the lead in this game, their only run coming
- 1:10Speaker 1: in the top half of the fourth inning. Jose Ramirez
- 1:13Speaker 1: had led off the inning with a single. He stole
- 1:16Speaker 1: second and advanced to third later in the inning. And
- 1:19Speaker 1: that brought Stuart Fairchild to the plate looking for his
- 1:22Speaker 1: first hit as a Guardian. And he was there with
- 1:24Speaker 1: two down in the inning. Chance here for the Guardians
- 1:27Speaker 1: to snap this scoreless tie. Two outs. Here's the pitch.
- 1:31Speaker 1: And it's swung on.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Lined.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Left side. Base hit into left field. Scoring is Ramirez.
- 1:38Speaker 1: And Stuart Fairchild on his first hit as a Cleveland
- 1:42Speaker 1: Guardian puts the Guardians in front.
- 1:44Speaker 3: 1-0.
- 1:46Speaker 1: But that was it offensively today for the Guardians. Slade
- 1:49Speaker 1: Ciccone pitched well. He did allow a run in the
- 1:52Speaker 1: bottom half of the fourth inning to tie it on
- 1:54Speaker 1: a sack fly by Jazz Chisholm. And then in the
- 1:57Speaker 1: seventh with reliever Cody Hoyer on, an RBI base hit
- 2:02Speaker 1: with two down from Ryan McMahon proved to be the
- 2:04Speaker 1: game winner as that brought in Chisholm from third base
- 2:08Speaker 1: with a second run for New York on the day.
- 2:10Speaker 1: And that was all they would need in a 2-1
- 2:12Speaker 1: victory over Cleveland. Final line score for the Guardians, a
- 2:16Speaker 1: run on two hits, no errors. Cleveland stranded five men.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Two runs, five hits, no errors, and three men left
- 2:22Speaker 1: on base for the Yankees. The winning pitcher, Brant Hedrick.
- 2:27Speaker 1: He's now 4-1. David Bednar with save number 13. Cody
- 2:31Speaker 1: Hoyer takes the loss, falling to 0-1. Time of today's game,
- 2:35Speaker 1: two hours, 20 minutes. Paid crowd, 39,504 here at Yankee Stadium.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Stay with us. We'll hear from manager Steven Vogt when
- 2:43Speaker 1: we return.

- 4:48Speaker 1: Guardians come up short today in the series finale by
- 4:51Speaker 1: a final score of 2-1. Let's head downstairs and get
- 4:54Speaker 1: the postgame thoughts of manager Stephen Vogt.
- 4:59Speaker 7: Steven, what did you make of the job that Slade
- 5:00Speaker 7: did here today?
- 5:01Speaker 2: Slade was phenomenal. Six innings, one run. Did a great
- 5:05Speaker 2: job keeping us in that game.
- 5:06Speaker 8: We knew kind of going into it, it needed to
- 5:08Speaker 8: be a low-scoring affair. I mean, Rodon was special over
- 5:11Speaker 8: there as well, but I thought Slade threw the ball excellent,
- 5:14Speaker 8: did his job, gave us six innings of one-run baseball.
- 5:16Speaker 9: How about Stuart Fairchild getting his first hit as a
- 5:19Speaker 9: guardian most of the time in.
- 5:20Speaker 2: The first round? Yeah, I thought, you know, like we know,
- 5:22Speaker 2: we knew Stu. You know, we saw him a little
- 5:24Speaker 2: bit at spring training.
- 5:24Speaker 8: He's been hit really well in Columbus and he's historically
- 5:27Speaker 8: been really good off left-handed pitching so good to see
- 5:30Speaker 8: him get his first hit obviously a big RBI there
- 5:32Speaker 8: for us and yeah really exciting for Steve.
- 5:35Speaker 10: Would you make the strategy with the three righties at
- 5:38Speaker 10: the top given that it was the one that produced
- 5:40Speaker 10: the route?
- 5:41Speaker 8: Yeah I mean it's not the strategy necessarily it's just
- 5:44Speaker 8: we want to put our best hitters up there at
- 5:46Speaker 8: the top like always and obviously I don't know if
- 5:49Speaker 8: there was a configuration today that would have led to
- 5:52Speaker 8: more hits. I mean, Rodon was really good, got a
- 5:53Speaker 8: lot of swing and miss against us, made pitches when
- 5:56Speaker 8: he had to.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Slade was using the cutter a lot today.
- 5:59Speaker 5: He talked about how he was throwing a lot more confidence.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Yeah, the cutter was really good. I thought he changed
- 6:04Speaker 2: shapes with it.
- 6:04Speaker 8: He was able to throw it up, throw it down.
- 6:07Speaker 2: I thought the curveball was really good today.
- 6:08Speaker 8: I thought he threw a lot more curveballs than we've seen.
- 6:10Speaker 8: He and Hedgie did a really nice job.
- 6:13Speaker 2: What do you think of the series? Yeah, anytime we
- 6:16Speaker 2: win a series, we're happy.
- 6:16Speaker 8: Obviously, we would have loved to have gotten a sweep today,
- 6:18Speaker 8: and that was definitely a game we felt like we
- 6:21Speaker 8: could win.
- 6:21Speaker 2: We were in it the whole way.
- 6:22Speaker 8: We hit some balls hard right at people. Just weren't
- 6:24Speaker 8: able to get enough going to score more than the
- 6:26Speaker 8: one run. But I'm really proud of the way our
- 6:28Speaker 8: guys bounced back after a tough homestand. And now get
- 6:31Speaker 8: on this fight and get ready.
- 6:33Speaker 2: To go get Texas. What did you think of him?
- 6:37Speaker 2: I thought Cody was pretty good.
- 6:39Speaker 8: Obviously the walk hurt and then the stolen base wild
- 6:41Speaker 8: pitch kind of got to him. But, I mean, really
- 6:43Speaker 8: it was a walk and a seeing my single. So
- 6:46Speaker 8: I thought Cody stepped up in a big spot facing
- 6:49Speaker 8: the middle of their order on a day.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Where we needed him to. And I thought he threw
- 6:51Speaker 2: the ball really well.
- 6:52Speaker 8: Just like I said, a walk to Chisholm and the
- 6:55Speaker 8: stolen base kind of led to it.
- 6:56Speaker 2: But I thought Cody.
- 6:57Speaker 8: Threw the ball great.
- 7:02Speaker 1: So there you have it. Still a quality series for
- 7:05Speaker 1: the Guardians. They take two out of three here in
- 7:07Speaker 1: New York. And their record now heading into play tomorrow
- 7:10Speaker 1: night will be 36-28. They remain atop the American League's
- 7:15Speaker 1: Central Division. Yankees now, they pull to win in a
- 7:18Speaker 1: half game of the first place Tampa Bay Rays with
- 7:20Speaker 1: the win here today in the AL East. Next up
- 7:23Speaker 1: for Cleveland, the Texas Rangers. Tomorrow night, 8-15 first pitch.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Airtime for Guardians warm-up, 7-35. Until then, for Paul Schrager,
- 7:34Speaker 1: our on-site engineer here in the booth, and Brian Motze
- 7:37Speaker 1: back at Command Center, and, of course, Tom Hamilton, this
- 7:40Speaker 1: is Jim Rosenhouse reminding you the final score from Yankee
- 7:44Speaker 1: Stadium in New York, the New York Yankees 2, the
- 7:47Speaker 1: Cleveland Guardians 1. Have a good night, everyone.
- 7:59Speaker 2: All right, from NewsRadio 570 to ODKBN, there we go.
- 8:03Speaker 2: And Ron Furman, welcome. We'll be with you until 5,
- 8:06Speaker 2: Legal Show at 5, as always on Thursdays. We look
- 8:09Speaker 2: forward to that. Attorney Beatrice and company. Legal Show brought
- 8:11Speaker 2: to you by Beatrice Kopp from 5 to 6 tonight.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Money Talks with John Arnold tonight, 6 to 7 on
- 8:17Speaker 2: NewsRadio 570 to ODKBN. Dave Thomas should be under my lines.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Hardest working state... Let me do the proper introduction, Dave,
- 8:24Speaker 2: before you do that. It's okay, please. Hardest working state
- 8:27Speaker 2: rep I've seen in 41 years who actually is a
- 8:30Speaker 2: public servant working for the people. Here's Dave Thomas. Now
- 8:33Speaker 2: the hey, Ron, please.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Hey, Ron.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Okay. I tell you, just like we rehearsed it, Dave.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Just like we rehearsed it. Okay. Can you– I would
- 8:45Speaker 2: like you to talk about– and it is now getting
- 8:49Speaker 2: some national attention on radio talk shows as well, the
- 8:52Speaker 2: fraud in Ohio and what's, what, you know, what's the latest,
- 8:57Speaker 2: is it the Somalian community? What's going on with that?
- 9:00Speaker 2: Talk to our listeners. It's so irritating for me as
- 9:03Speaker 2: a tax paying citizen here in Ohio. And I'm so
- 9:06Speaker 2: frustrated with, uh, governor DeWine.
- 9:10Speaker 4: Yes.
- 9:11Speaker 10: Um, handful of things here. So first next Wednesday, uh,
- 9:17Speaker 10: We are having our final kind of session for this month.
- 9:21Speaker 10: You will see us in session on Tuesday, Wednesday, possibly Monday.
- 9:25Speaker 10: We'll be voting out. They've been having hearings every day
- 9:28Speaker 10: this week compiling a huge Medicaid fraud bill. We will
- 9:34Speaker 10: be voting on that, passing it. The question will be,
- 9:36Speaker 10: how will the governor react? But you will see strong
- 9:40Speaker 10: action happening. Wednesday, I can call and explain kind of
- 9:43Speaker 10: what's in the bill. They're still compiling everything.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Okay, no, no, no. Take me slow on this. There's
- 9:49Speaker 2: going to be a bill that you guys are introducing
- 9:51Speaker 2: on Wednesday?
- 9:53Speaker 10: We're passing on Wednesday.
- 9:55Speaker 2: All right, to the House. Then it would go to
- 9:57Speaker 2: the Senate. Correct?
- 10:01Speaker 10: Well, it'll actually be, and it's one of the reasons
- 10:04Speaker 10: we're going to have two session days, and it will
- 10:06Speaker 10: be probably a 2 or 3 a.m.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Session.
- 10:09Speaker 10: It will be going back and forth between the chambers.
- 10:11Speaker 10: There's already essentially kind of a joint agreement that we
- 10:14Speaker 10: will take action on Medicaid fraud that day.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Okay, so once the House passes it, it has to
- 10:24Speaker 2: be passed by the Senate, does it not?
- 10:26Speaker 10: Correct.
- 10:27Speaker 2: All right, and then once that passes, is it a
- 10:30Speaker 2: done deal?
- 10:32Speaker 10: No. Then it has to go to the governor's office.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Okay, see, how long is this going to take? Believe
- 10:39Speaker 2: it or not, I have to do a commercial break
- 10:41Speaker 2: just as we get started. Just bear with me. I
- 10:43Speaker 2: want to take this slow and easy so we all
- 10:45Speaker 2: understand it. Hardest working state rep. We're glad to have him.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Dave Thomas, back in a minute. 570-WKBN. All right, back
- 10:54Speaker 2: to it with Ron Ferber. Okay, so Dave Thomas, you
- 10:57Speaker 2: guys put a bill together, and what will this bill do?
- 11:03Speaker 10: So this bill, it's not currently finished, so I don't
- 11:07Speaker 10: know exactly all the different mechanisms of it. It will
- 11:10Speaker 10: be done and passed by the House, and the goal
- 11:14Speaker 10: is actually to have it also passed by the Senate
- 11:16Speaker 10: by Wednesday. The base of the bill... essentially kind of
- 11:22Speaker 10: looks at what went wrong with some of the fraud side.
- 11:26Speaker 10: So providers not having a follow-up with, you know, making
- 11:31Speaker 10: sure that they're actually going to the houses, um, providers
- 11:35Speaker 10: doing services without prior authorization, um, oversight of huge anomalies,
- 11:42Speaker 10: which has happened in Franklin County, where certain zip codes
- 11:46Speaker 10: have far outlandishly high, um, rates of Medicaid participation.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Are these the Somalian areas?
- 11:56Speaker 4: Yes.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Okay.
- 11:57Speaker 10: And as a side note, so on Wednesday, there's two
- 12:01Speaker 10: big kind of announcements that just happened yesterday and today.
- 12:03Speaker 2: You're talking yesterday or next, this coming Wednesday?
- 12:07Speaker 10: This coming Wednesday, next week, will be the day that
- 12:10Speaker 10: we pass the Medicaid fraud bill.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Okay.
- 12:13Speaker 10: But yesterday, there was actually a hearing in Washington, D.C.,
- 12:18Speaker 10: where we had our auditor of state We had Representative
- 12:22Speaker 10: Mike Davila, who's been kind of leading the charge in
- 12:24Speaker 10: the House, and we had the Senate Minority Leader testify
- 12:30Speaker 10: in front of the House Oversight Committee, which has been
- 12:33Speaker 10: doing testimonies and changes on national fraud in Minnesota, Ohio.
- 12:39Speaker 10: And the Auditor State and Rep. Davila testified on some
- 12:44Speaker 10: of the things that they've been finding. For example, There
- 12:48Speaker 10: has not been the proper or correct financial checks for
- 12:53Speaker 10: folks that are actually applying. You could actually be far
- 12:56Speaker 10: above the income thresholds, but they've not been really checking
- 13:01Speaker 10: to see who's actually been applying for Medicaid, for example.
- 13:04Speaker 10: That's been one of a huge kind of fraud-slash-abuse side.
- 13:09Speaker 10: that the auditor state has found this year.
- 13:11Speaker 2: All right, so individuals that are getting it who shouldn't
- 13:14Speaker 2: be getting it because income-wise they don't qualify. But, I mean,
- 13:18Speaker 2: we're so interested in, after we saw the leering centers
- 13:21Speaker 2: and the hospice and transportation, and no one was actually there,
- 13:26Speaker 2: we're all interested in that aspect of the fraud in Ohio, too.
- 13:33Speaker 10: Yep, and that's where... your international populations are essentially working
- 13:39Speaker 10: all together, signing people up, maybe, maybe not real, doing
- 13:44Speaker 10: services on paper, but then not actually doing them in
- 13:48Speaker 10: real life. And the chair of the Oversight Committee in Washington, D.C.,
- 13:55Speaker 10: Congressman Gill, out of Texas, asked the minority leader of
- 14:00Speaker 10: the Senate, Ohio Senate, during testimony yesterday, Do you think
- 14:04Speaker 10: Somali immigration has been good for Ohio?
- 14:08Speaker 2: I'll answer it. Hell no.
- 14:09Speaker 11: I agree.
- 14:12Speaker 10: She, though, said that that question was bringing her to tears.
- 14:17Speaker 10: And how could someone ask a question like that that
- 14:19Speaker 10: could hurt our communities?
- 14:21Speaker 2: I mean, and I'll wait. I want everyone to hear this.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Who asked this question? Give me the..
- 14:29Speaker 10: So this is Congressman Brandon Gill out of Texas.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Ask the following question.
- 14:34Speaker 10: He asked as the chairman of the oversight committee to
- 14:38Speaker 10: the Ohio Senate minority leader, Nicky Antonio, out of Cleveland,
- 14:43Speaker 10: given all of the fraud issues, the zip code, the
- 14:49Speaker 10: immigration kind of targeting that we've seen with Medicaid aspect,
- 14:54Speaker 10: is all of the Somali immigrant population been good for Ohio?
- 15:01Speaker 2: Now, doesn't that appear to you to be an asked
- 15:04Speaker 2: nine question based on why would you even ask a
- 15:08Speaker 2: question like that when we're talking about millions and billions
- 15:11Speaker 2: of stealing money i mean can you elaborate on this
- 15:15Speaker 2: for me because this is ridiculous.
- 15:18Speaker 10: What and that's exactly why you asked it such a
- 15:21Speaker 10: simple question and i get that we've had all these
- 15:25Speaker 10: immigrant populations come in and if there's all this fraud
- 15:29Speaker 10: here everyone should be on the same page that has
- 15:33Speaker 10: been bad for ohio But our Senate Minority Leader couldn't
- 15:38Speaker 10: answer the question and said that that was a question
- 15:40Speaker 10: that would hurt our communities here in Ohio.
- 15:44Speaker 2: No, this is a Democrat. I want everyone to hear this.
- 15:47Speaker 2: So you have a Democrat Senate Minority Leader who couldn't
- 15:51Speaker 2: answer the question about a community of people that haven't
- 15:55Speaker 2: assimilated and are stealing millions and billions of dollars. Is
- 15:59Speaker 2: that a fair statement?
- 16:02Speaker 4: Yes.
- 16:04Speaker 12: Absolutely.
- 16:05Speaker 10: And that just shows we..
- 16:07Speaker 2: What a disappointment as a citizen of Ohio that someone
- 16:11Speaker 2: in the legislature cannot sit there as a citizen of
- 16:15Speaker 2: Ohio and say, stealing and ripping off the taxpayers to
- 16:18Speaker 2: this degree is unacceptable. And no, they're not a good addition.
- 16:24Speaker 2: How difficult is that to answer that question? Stay tuned.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Dave Thomas is going to elaborate more on this. Don't
- 16:29Speaker 2: lose your place, all right? I want to hear more
- 16:31Speaker 2: of what you got to say. Hang in there. He's
- 16:34Speaker 2: always interesting when we have him on. State Rep. Dave Thomas,
- 16:37Speaker 2: a true public servant, back in a minute.
- 16:40Speaker 6: 3730 to 5, Saturday, 8 to noon.
- 16:44Speaker 11: WKBN.
- 16:44Speaker 2: 433 in the afternoon. We're at 85 degrees on a Thursday,
- 16:47Speaker 2: June 4th. State Rep. Dave Thomas is with me. Do
- 16:50Speaker 2: you know how as an Ohio citizen, because, I mean,
- 16:53Speaker 2: you're in the legislature, I sit back here and to
- 16:57Speaker 2: hear somebody ask that question, who's the Senate Minority Leader,
- 17:03Speaker 2: And the question, once again, just so our listeners can
- 17:05Speaker 2: hear it, she was asked what?
- 17:09Speaker 10: She was asked, is the Somali immigration in Ohio a
- 17:13Speaker 10: good thing for Ohio?
- 17:14Speaker 2: Now, this is a community where we have all this
- 17:16Speaker 2: fraud going on in Ohio, stealing millions and potentially adding
- 17:21Speaker 2: up to billions of dollars. But let's just go with
- 17:23Speaker 2: millions of dollars and not assimilating into our culture. So
- 17:30Speaker 2: I can sit here and say to you, the answer
- 17:32Speaker 2: to that is no. It has been a negative. And
- 17:36Speaker 2: this woman answered, the Senate Democrat minority leader in Ohio
- 17:40Speaker 2: answered it how?
- 17:43Speaker 10: She said, that question brings me to tears, and I
- 17:47Speaker 10: can't answer something that could be hurtful to our communities.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Now, folks, I want you all to hear this. This
- 17:56Speaker 2: is a Democrat who can't stand there and say, people
- 17:59Speaker 2: that are stealing... millions of dollars through fraudulent means, fears
- 18:06Speaker 2: their tongue so much they can't sit there and say,
- 18:09Speaker 2: this is horrific. Your comments, please.
- 18:15Speaker 10: And I tell you that just because over the next week,
- 18:18Speaker 10: you're going to hear a lot, and that goes back
- 18:20Speaker 10: to our earlier conversations of when we're looking to reform
- 18:24Speaker 10: and to fix the system, there's so much that needs
- 18:28Speaker 10: done that you're going to hear all this pushback. And
- 18:30Speaker 10: this is one of them, that these folks are good,
- 18:34Speaker 10: don't go after everyone, go after just small numbers, when
- 18:40Speaker 10: really we have to almost wholesale change how we do
- 18:44Speaker 10: Medicaid here in Ohio. And that's just one example of
- 18:49Speaker 10: the pushback and resistance. That committee yesterday was very positive
- 18:55Speaker 10: to help kind of highlight some of the things that
- 18:57Speaker 10: have gone wrong. And then today... The acting U.S. Attorney General,
- 19:05Speaker 10: the FBI Director, our Attorney General, our Auditor of State,
- 19:10Speaker 10: and Legislative Leadership actually had a press conference this morning.
- 19:14Speaker 10: There is now a formal federal and state partnership, task
- 19:20Speaker 10: force essentially, with the FBI, with law enforcement, that will
- 19:25Speaker 10: go even further in terms of some of the international side.
- 19:28Speaker 10: You asked last week, will any of this money ever
- 19:30Speaker 10: be returned? Now we actually have some of those criminal
- 19:34Speaker 10: resources to go after a ton of.
- 19:37Speaker 2: People because of this partnership. Listen, you're never going to
- 19:41Speaker 2: get the money back. I mean, it's spent, it's stolen,
- 19:43Speaker 2: it's hidden. I mean, you're never going to get the
- 19:45Speaker 2: money back. I just want justice for the people that have...
- 19:50Speaker 2: that have stole huge sums of money. I mean, I'm
- 19:54Speaker 2: looking for justice. I'm looking for people that don't assimilate.
- 19:57Speaker 2: I'm looking for people that came here and are committing
- 19:59Speaker 2: these crimes to be taken out of this country and or... Well,
- 20:07Speaker 2: I would rather they be deported, because if you put
- 20:09Speaker 2: them in jail anymore, it's never long enough for this
- 20:11Speaker 2: kind of stuff. So, consequently, they get a slap on
- 20:16Speaker 2: the wrist, and I'm getting a nervous breakdown.
- 20:20Speaker 10: Now, just this week, there were 14 folks. Well, just
- 20:26Speaker 10: this week, as an example, the Attorney General announced there
- 20:29Speaker 10: are 14 individuals who he's arrested. He's charging with Medicaid fraud.
- 20:35Speaker 10: about $ 50 million just from those 14 individuals. These are
- 20:39Speaker 10: examples of, in the smaller community here in Franklin County,
- 20:44Speaker 10: who have been signing folks up for services they're not
- 20:48Speaker 10: actually providing, who have been using... I heard an ad
- 20:52Speaker 10: on the radio program about giving out your Medicaid or
- 20:55Speaker 10: your Medicare number, who have been using stolen Medicaid numbers
- 20:59Speaker 10: to sign up folks for services. All these different things
- 21:03Speaker 10: that kind of add up So that was just this week,
- 21:06Speaker 10: just announced yesterday as well. So a lot more of
- 21:10Speaker 10: those types of things will be coming, too. Like you said,
- 21:12Speaker 10: all this adds up, and it's just a culture of, frankly,
- 21:17Speaker 10: waste and abuse in the Medicaid system. We ultimately need
- 21:21Speaker 10: a new governor to change.
- 21:22Speaker 2: The same community does it in Tampon Thames, Minnesota. That's
- 21:29Speaker 2: doing it here. We got the second largest Somali community,
- 21:32Speaker 2: they say, next to Minnesota. And the same culture did
- 21:36Speaker 2: it there and they're doing it here. So I'm not
- 21:40Speaker 2: afraid to offend the community because it's just stealing. You
- 21:45Speaker 2: either assimilate or you don't. But you don't come and
- 21:50Speaker 2: rip off millions of dollars. Now, getting the money back,
- 21:53Speaker 2: that money's gone if they sent it to Somalia or
- 21:57Speaker 2: they spent it. And they're looking at us as a
- 22:00Speaker 2: bunch of damn fools. But that jeopardizes the health of
- 22:03Speaker 2: both Medicaid and Medicare when you have people stealing money
- 22:07Speaker 2: like this. And I am so damn disappointed in DeWine.
- 22:13Speaker 2: I mean, he just and I pray that Vivek is successful,
- 22:19Speaker 2: because if you get a liberal like Amy Acton in there,
- 22:23Speaker 2: Good luck with ever getting justice here. I mean, because
- 22:26Speaker 2: we don't want to offend anybody, even if they're a
- 22:29Speaker 2: group of criminals. Okay, I'm done. Go ahead.
- 22:33Speaker 10: No, you're spot on. Last week, Favek had a press
- 22:37Speaker 10: conference with our legislative leadership and the auditor of state
- 22:40Speaker 10: and attorney general office to essentially say that of all
- 22:44Speaker 10: the different kind of changes, just wholesale culture change with
- 22:49Speaker 10: the Medicaid on top of all these different protections. And
- 22:53Speaker 10: I'm not aware of anything she has put out. I
- 22:57Speaker 10: think she is essentially probably taking the position that, hey,
- 23:00Speaker 10: there's really not that big of an issue here. We
- 23:03Speaker 10: can't change the system because then people will be hurt.
- 23:06Speaker 10: And there's a very stark difference between these two campaigns
- 23:11Speaker 10: and how they're approaching, again, half of the state's budget
- 23:17Speaker 10: and how much of taxpayer dollars is going out for
- 23:20Speaker 10: these programs.
- 23:24Speaker 2: It represents to me such a dramatic difference. in these
- 23:28Speaker 2: two parties. You see it in Minnesota with the Democrats,
- 23:32Speaker 2: and now I'm seeing it in Ohio with the Democrats.
- 23:34Speaker 2: I'm really disappointed in the Republicans. I mean, DeWine knows
- 23:38Speaker 2: this happened under their leadership. I mean, is it fair
- 23:41Speaker 2: to me to say, hey, governor, where were you all
- 23:44Speaker 2: this time? Hey, auditor, where were you all of this time? Hey,
- 23:48Speaker 2: attorney general, where were you all of this time? Why
- 23:51Speaker 2: was this going on? How did this happen? Why can't
- 23:56Speaker 2: I hold some of these folks accountable? It doesn't matter
- 23:59Speaker 2: to me if they're Republicans.
- 24:03Speaker 10: It takes a, and it's horrible to think of this
- 24:06Speaker 10: this way, but it is. It takes a crisis of
- 24:11Speaker 10: this type of level for us to even broach topics
- 24:15Speaker 10: that are usually considered taboo, which is touching Medicaid and
- 24:21Speaker 10: improving how Medicaid actually is.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Well, you're saving Medicaid for the people that are stealing it, money,
- 24:29Speaker 2: and hurting it financially. You're saving Medicaid and Medicare. You're
- 24:34Speaker 2: not hurting it.
- 24:35Speaker 10: Exactly. Exactly. And that's how we approach it. That's how,
- 24:40Speaker 10: I mean, frankly, the facts are. But just like with
- 24:43Speaker 10: a lot of these other entitlements, and this is not
- 24:45Speaker 10: an entitlement, but it's in that same kind of bucket,
- 24:48Speaker 10: whenever you start broaching changes... that's when all of the
- 24:53Speaker 10: interest groups, all the different folks that are benefiting, come
- 24:56Speaker 10: out and claim you're hurting kids, you're putting people on
- 25:00Speaker 10: the streets, you're taking food out of.
- 25:01Speaker 11: Babies' mouths.
- 25:02Speaker 2: It's a load of crap.
- 25:04Speaker 10: And then folks kind of back away. So we have,
- 25:08Speaker 10: I mean, frankly, this is an almost once-in-a-generation opportunity to
- 25:12Speaker 10: actually really change the system and how it's been operating
- 25:17Speaker 10: here in the state. There's even talk about taking away,
- 25:21Speaker 10: which was unheard of as well, that expansion that John
- 25:25Speaker 10: Kasich did. We've been eating away at it. We're actually
- 25:28Speaker 10: just taking it away completely and being able to really
- 25:31Speaker 10: hone in back in then on the money that this
- 25:34Speaker 10: is actually supposed to be for. Those folks that cannot work.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Here's what I've learned. I mean, here's what I've learned, folks.
- 25:42Speaker 2: And make no mistake. There isn't a Democrat that would
- 25:46Speaker 2: have been any better, because I know how these Democrats, well,
- 25:49Speaker 2: you're explaining how these Democrats view this. But I'm going
- 25:52Speaker 2: to tell you something. From a Republican standpoint, John Kasich
- 25:55Speaker 2: was a disappointment as governor, and Mike DeWine has been
- 25:58Speaker 2: a disappointment as governor. I mean, it doesn't matter to
- 26:02Speaker 2: me that they're Republicans. I'm not a cheerleader. John Kasich
- 26:06Speaker 2: was a disappointment, and he's a disappointment to me today,
- 26:08Speaker 2: as Mike DeWine is. Good riddance to him. I think
- 26:12Speaker 2: Vivek will be different. If he wins. If he wins.
- 26:17Speaker 2: I saw a poll today, incidentally, Dave Thomas, where they
- 26:20Speaker 2: were saying that Sherrod Brown is ahead. And I'm thinking
- 26:24Speaker 2: to myself, of course, I don't know whether to believe
- 26:26Speaker 2: polls or not, but it said Sherrod Brown is ahead
- 26:29Speaker 2: of John Husted. And I'm thinking, here's Sherrod Brown. It's
- 26:33Speaker 2: been around forever. And Sherrod Brown backed every wacky thing
- 26:37Speaker 2: that Joe Biden stood for. Open borders. Men can have babies.
- 26:42Speaker 2: All the craziness. of the Democrats, Sherrod Brown was there
- 26:46Speaker 2: backing it all away. The war on coal. Yeah. So
- 26:50Speaker 2: you would say, well, let's vote for Sherrod Brown over Houston. Well,
- 26:56Speaker 2: that's just stupid. He supported all this, all the problems
- 27:01Speaker 2: that Biden created. He's in support of them. And his
- 27:05Speaker 2: philosophy hasn't changed at all. Like you say, the war
- 27:08Speaker 2: on coal and that kind of stuff. All right. I
- 27:10Speaker 2: got it off my chest. So so this bill.
- 27:13Speaker 10: You're right.
- 27:14Speaker 2: The polls are close.
- 27:15Speaker 10: The polls are close. The polls are close. And I
- 27:19Speaker 10: keep I keep hearing people. We cannot take this election
- 27:22Speaker 10: for granted. You know, you may be disappointed, upset. I am, too,
- 27:27Speaker 10: about kind of where the economy is and where things are.
- 27:30Speaker 10: But we're seeing just if we stay home, we're actually
- 27:35Speaker 10: electing by staying home.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Right.
- 27:37Speaker 10: And it will be that much worse if we do that,
- 27:41Speaker 10: that much worse.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Oh, absolutely. So Wednesday, you have this bill, and hopefully
- 27:48Speaker 2: that'll solve some of this stuff. So your preventive action,
- 27:52Speaker 2: for everybody to know, is just review it for our listeners.
- 27:56Speaker 2: You're doing what?
- 27:59Speaker 10: So this bill will essentially add in all of the
- 28:02Speaker 10: different protections that we've had vetoed. over the past three budgets,
- 28:07Speaker 10: things like GPS checking, like prior approval before billing, things
- 28:14Speaker 10: like automatic kind of closure of providers if there are
- 28:21Speaker 10: kind of suspected irregularities in their billing, extra oversight and
- 28:27Speaker 10: auditing of high-use areas, such as here in Franklin County
- 28:32Speaker 10: with the small population. So Medicaid is actually not an
- 28:38Speaker 10: area I've dived into at all. So I'm only touching
- 28:41Speaker 10: the surface of what the bills are going to be doing.
- 28:45Speaker 10: I'll have a better kind of explanation next week for
- 28:48Speaker 10: you after we kind of see everything that's in there.
- 28:50Speaker 10: But I encourage folks, you can actually watch the Medicaid
- 28:54Speaker 10: hearings and see firsthand what some of the questions are,
- 28:58Speaker 10: what the back and forth is on the Ohio channel.
- 29:01Speaker 10: Anyone can watch them. They've been meeting a ton this week.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Yeah, when I say basketball playoffs, you're watching the Ohio Channel.
- 29:08Speaker 10: I know.
- 29:09Speaker 2: I know.
- 29:11Speaker 10: We're nerds.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Yeah, but we shall see how that happens. Now, let
- 29:16Speaker 2: me shift gears because we have a limited amount of
- 29:19Speaker 2: time today. Legal show at 5. Data centers and the
- 29:23Speaker 2: cost of data centers in general, I want you to
- 29:26Speaker 2: talk about that, and the cost of electricity.
- 29:31Speaker 10: I have a good news for you. Here's good news
- 29:33Speaker 10: number two. So the Trump administration just announced today new funding.
- 29:39Speaker 10: They're giving roughly $ 700 million to 13 different coal plants
- 29:45Speaker 10: across the country to essentially boost them up, make improvements
- 29:50Speaker 10: to them, and actually have their output be even stronger.
- 29:53Speaker 10: So trying to reinforce current coal plants, And they're building, actually,
- 29:58Speaker 10: they're backing the building of two additional coal plants.
- 30:01Speaker 2: In Ohio or where?
- 30:04Speaker 10: Not in Ohio. I'm looking at the announcement right now.
- 30:07Speaker 10: I don't know where. But it is not Ohio, the
- 30:10Speaker 10: new plants that we have. The seven new ones are
- 30:12Speaker 10: natural gas. And then perinuclear power plant expanding. But these
- 30:18Speaker 10: are across the country, it looks like. So he's using
- 30:22Speaker 10: the War Powers Act to essentially say... electricity, power supply
- 30:28Speaker 10: is a national security priority. And so we're granting these dollars.
- 30:32Speaker 10: We're boosting up the coal plants. So I know you're
- 30:36Speaker 10: a big focus on coal. So that was a good
- 30:38Speaker 10: thing I saw this morning.
- 30:39Speaker 6: Right.
- 30:40Speaker 2: I would like to see it happen where it benefits
- 30:43Speaker 2: me or in my grid area, if you will. I
- 30:47Speaker 2: had heard a rumor, incidentally, I don't know if it's
- 30:49Speaker 2: fact or fiction, where they're talking about putting, it wouldn't
- 30:51Speaker 2: surprise me, a data center where that Samus plant used
- 30:54Speaker 2: to be. Because it's ideal locations because of the transmission lines.
- 30:59Speaker 2: And so have you heard that at all?
- 31:03Speaker 10: I have not. But that kind of is the perfect
- 31:06Speaker 10: example of Ohio is prime and ready for these things.
- 31:09Speaker 10: So we shouldn't then be giving away the farm, as
- 31:12Speaker 10: we say, to bring them here. But more than likely.
- 31:17Speaker 10: But on medicine, there's actually the same thing. There will
- 31:21Speaker 10: be a bill next Wednesday. That is the result of
- 31:27Speaker 10: the Select Committee on Data Centers. Three members of Republican
- 31:32Speaker 10: House membership, one Democrat, same on the Senate, have been
- 31:35Speaker 10: meeting several days a week, two weeks ago, last week,
- 31:39Speaker 10: this week, next week, hearing from regular citizens, from business groups, utilities,
- 31:45Speaker 10: energy folks, on all different ideas about what state kind
- 31:49Speaker 10: of parameters and guardrails should be on the data center side.
- 31:54Speaker 10: And One of those is my House Bill 706, Representative Rader,
- 32:00Speaker 10: which essentially prevents that cost shifting of the electricity side.
- 32:06Speaker 10: We had a three-hour long hearing last night on Energy Committee,
- 32:10Speaker 10: ended at 7, where we heard from a whole bunch
- 32:12Speaker 10: of folks talking about this bill, this concept, which we're
- 32:16Speaker 10: hoping will be put into the data center bill that
- 32:18Speaker 10: passes next Wednesday. That's one of several different kind of
- 32:22Speaker 10: components to us putting guardrails around data centers. But this
- 32:26Speaker 10: idea that a data center comes in and that cost
- 32:29Speaker 10: should not then be shifted to those other payers that
- 32:33Speaker 10: are already there on the grid. Everyone supports it in concept,
- 32:38Speaker 10: but once you get down to the nitty-gritty, that's where
- 32:40Speaker 10: there's disagreements. But I'm pretty hopeful that that will be
- 32:45Speaker 10: in the final bill of the past next Wednesday.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I would like to see. I mean, are we
- 32:52Speaker 2: going to put anything in there? When you say guardrails,
- 32:55Speaker 2: are we going to put anything in there to try
- 32:57Speaker 2: to say you've got to be self-sufficient when it comes
- 32:59Speaker 2: to providing the power that you're going to need for
- 33:02Speaker 2: this stuff? And B, we're not going to give you
- 33:05Speaker 2: any tax abatements at all?
- 33:08Speaker 10: Yeah, so those are the other kind of buckets of
- 33:11Speaker 10: things that will likely be in this bill. Closed-loop water,
- 33:14Speaker 10: for example. incentivizing or requiring that they be placed on
- 33:19Speaker 10: brownfields or in non-agriculture, non-developed land. And I've submitted an
- 33:27Speaker 10: amendment to just take away that sales tax abatement. I
- 33:32Speaker 10: don't know exactly where that is yet. I'm still pushing it.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Right, but I mean, the governor, he paused it, but
- 33:37Speaker 2: you want to make it permanent to take it away.
- 33:39Speaker 2: But I want to take away any type of property
- 33:43Speaker 2: tax abatement.
- 33:46Speaker 10: Well, and I don't know. That's a good question. I
- 33:53Speaker 10: actually encouraged kind of using that as the carrot. Like, essentially,
- 33:57Speaker 10: I'm not sure if we can legally, I think we can.
- 33:59Speaker 10: Tell communities you cannot provide these abatements locally, because it's
- 34:03Speaker 10: all local decision, essentially, of the property tax side, what
- 34:07Speaker 10: a city is going to give to a data center.
- 34:08Speaker 2: I mean, anybody's, they're all going to ask for it.
- 34:12Speaker 2: because it's just nature doing business. But you can answer
- 34:16Speaker 2: the question by saying, no, we're not doing it. I
- 34:18Speaker 2: go back. Once again, we're the sweet spot weather-wise. We
- 34:22Speaker 2: have the water. We have the weather. We have the
- 34:24Speaker 2: transmission lines. They need us. We don't need to be
- 34:28Speaker 2: giving them any breaks at all. We should be getting
- 34:31Speaker 2: all the benefits. Now, there was a caller of mine
- 34:36Speaker 2: that said, you know, another thing that should be in
- 34:38Speaker 2: these bills is there should be ramifications in these bills
- 34:41Speaker 2: to say, because technology changes awful fast, that if you
- 34:45Speaker 2: abandon these data centers, because they could in 10 years,
- 34:48Speaker 2: that how are you going to dismantle them or how
- 34:52Speaker 2: is that process going to take place instead of sticking
- 34:56Speaker 2: to taxpayers?
- 34:58Speaker 10: I wish you could see my face because I'm smiling
- 35:01Speaker 10: really big right now. That's a smart caller. Tell them
- 35:04Speaker 10: to reach out, because actually that's another bucket. This concept,
- 35:09Speaker 10: we have this in place. If a solar farm or
- 35:12Speaker 10: a wind farm comes into an area, the developers have
- 35:16Speaker 10: to have bonds.
- 35:16Speaker 2: Okay, stand by. I stand by. I've got to pause again.
- 35:19Speaker 2: That's my caller G2 that brought that up. He is
- 35:21Speaker 2: an extremely smart caller. Yeah, hang on. Back with Dave
- 35:24Speaker 2: Thomas right after this. News Radio 570 WKBN. Back to it,
- 35:32Speaker 2: Ron Verb, 453 in the afternoon. We're at 84 degrees
- 35:35Speaker 2: with State Rep. Dave Thomas. So the bottom line is
- 35:39Speaker 2: technology changes quickly, and who knows what's going to be
- 35:42Speaker 2: the case in five or ten years. And they could
- 35:45Speaker 2: walk away from these huge buildings or these facilities, and
- 35:48Speaker 2: perhaps we can't repurpose a building, but there has to
- 35:51Speaker 2: be something on the hook to not stick the community
- 35:56Speaker 2: or the taxpayers with cleaning up the mess as far as–
- 36:01Speaker 2: if we have to get it back to Mother Nature
- 36:04Speaker 2: and that kind of stuff. And you would agree with that?
- 36:07Speaker 10: Yes, 100%. We already require that, actually, for coal mines,
- 36:13Speaker 10: and we require it for solar fields and for wind farms,
- 36:18Speaker 10: where if you come in, you develop it, you essentially
- 36:21Speaker 10: have bonds, reclamation bonds is what they're called, and where
- 36:25Speaker 10: you're prepaying, essentially, for... the decommissioning or the restoration back
- 36:30Speaker 10: to what it was prior for that property. And that's
- 36:34Speaker 10: not currently something that we require in state law for
- 36:37Speaker 10: data centers, but that has actually been one of the
- 36:41Speaker 10: kind of like universal agreements of most folks that, yeah,
- 36:45Speaker 10: that just, that makes sense because you're right. You know,
- 36:49Speaker 10: these are essentially large warehouses with a whole bunch of
- 36:51Speaker 10: computers inside. And I think the first computer took up
- 36:55Speaker 10: about the same size as a small warehouse and Today, obviously,
- 36:58Speaker 10: very different. So these may become not as necessary over
- 37:02Speaker 10: the years. And we should have some type of requirement
- 37:07Speaker 10: that they kind of return themselves back. So if I
- 37:10Speaker 10: had to bet, that requirement will be in the language
- 37:15Speaker 10: that we pass next Wednesday as well. And then I'm
- 37:19Speaker 10: sure you've been hearing things about NDAs, non-disclosure agreements.
- 37:22Speaker 2: Yes.
- 37:22Speaker 10: Yeah, that's been a huge... Huge problem, I think, growing locally.
- 37:30Speaker 10: And so there will also, if I had to bet,
- 37:34Speaker 10: be language discussing that. Our finance chair has a bill
- 37:38Speaker 10: to prevent all local officials, all officials, public officials from
- 37:42Speaker 10: signing NDAs. It's just bad practice.
- 37:45Speaker 2: How can you be a public official and have a
- 37:47Speaker 2: nondisclosure agreement? The public has a right to know.
- 37:51Speaker 13: Exactly.
- 37:52Speaker 2: I mean, seriously. I mean, it's a contradiction. This is
- 37:55Speaker 2: the public's business. I can't sign an NDA.
- 37:59Speaker 10: Yeah, I think these businesses are coming. They're pressuring local officials.
- 38:04Speaker 2: Well, they should stand up and not cave. They should say,
- 38:07Speaker 2: we're not going to do this. I'm hopeful. Go ahead.
- 38:14Speaker 10: I'm sorry. I'm hopeful and I'm almost certain that we
- 38:17Speaker 10: will have that language in this inner bill as well.
- 38:22Speaker 10: that you'll see on Wednesday, where essentially we prevent local
- 38:26Speaker 10: officials from, and state and anyone, from signing these NDAs.
- 38:30Speaker 10: This is another kind of transparency and public having information.
- 38:37Speaker 10: This is, I think, the most important thing. And that
- 38:40Speaker 10: just flies in the face of just good government, especially
- 38:46Speaker 10: at your local, small community level.
- 38:49Speaker 2: Well, I say this because time is short today. Your
- 38:52Speaker 2: parents have to be so proud of you because I
- 38:54Speaker 2: know this much I am. And, I mean, for all
- 38:57Speaker 2: you're doing, you're genuinely a public servant for the folks
- 38:59Speaker 2: here in the great state of Ohio. You represent everything
- 39:02Speaker 2: that a public servant is supposed to, putting a taxpayer first,
- 39:06Speaker 2: not special interest, and doing what is best in the
- 39:10Speaker 2: best interest of the citizen and taxpayer. I've said this before.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Many people will benefit as a result of the changes
- 39:16Speaker 2: you made in property taxes. And so whether they're Democrats
- 39:19Speaker 2: or Republicans, their increases won't be as big because of
- 39:23Speaker 2: what legislation that you've championed and your fellow Republicans. And
- 39:27Speaker 2: it's important for people to know that. And as I say,
- 39:31Speaker 2: kudos to you. But you also say, don't forget the
- 39:34Speaker 2: other Republicans, which made it a reality, including Tex Fisher
- 39:37Speaker 2: and some of our local Republicans here, correct?
- 39:40Speaker 10: Yep.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Yep.
- 39:41Speaker 10: And I do want to give a quick shout out.
- 39:43Speaker 10: It's my mom's 60th birthday today. So if she's listening..
- 39:47Speaker 2: She must be extremely... You know, your mother's a great woman.
- 39:50Speaker 2: You know why she's a great woman? Because she gave
- 39:52Speaker 2: birth to you. That's why she's a great woman. She
- 39:55Speaker 2: raised you right. I mean, you've been raised... You're raised right.
- 40:00Speaker 2: You earn your paycheck. You're a public servant. You're the
- 40:03Speaker 2: hardest working state rep that I've seen in 41 years.
- 40:05Speaker 2: You operate in the people's best interest. And your mother
- 40:09Speaker 2: raised you properly, and it's an honor to have you
- 40:12Speaker 2: on the program. We look forward to talking to you
- 40:14Speaker 2: next week with an update. Thank you, State Rep. Dave Thomas.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Or should I say Governor? I want you to get
- 40:19Speaker 2: used to hearing that, Governor Thomas. All right. Thank you.
- 40:22Speaker 10: No, no, no, no, no.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Thank you. Thank you, Dave. All right. And happy 60th
- 40:25Speaker 2: birthday to his mother. She's got a great son. NewsRadio 570,

- 40:54Speaker 12: $ 700 million plan intended to boost the nation's coal industry.
- 40:57Speaker 13: We will protect 14 coal plants and 42 coal mines.
- 41:02Speaker 13: It's a tremendous number. And build two new coal plants
- 41:06Speaker 13: and one massive new export terminal because we're exporting coal.
- 41:10Speaker 12: The two plans, set to be built in Alaska and
- 41:12Speaker 12: West Virginia, would be the nation's first since 2013. The
- 41:16Speaker 12: president says he will nominate Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche
- 41:19Speaker 12: to the permanent position, and today in Ohio, Blanche told reporters.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Obviously, I'm honored and humbled that the president indicated he
- 41:25Speaker 1: was going to nominate me today.
- 41:27Speaker 2: I was with him last night at the dinner when
- 41:29Speaker 2: he said that.
- 41:30Speaker 12: It's not clear if Blanche has the support in the Senate.
- 41:33Speaker 12: The House Oversight Committee released the transcript of its interview
- 41:36Speaker 12: with former Attorney General Pam Bondi, who blamed Blanche for
- 41:39Speaker 12: the controversial handling of the release of the Justice Department's
- 41:42Speaker 12: files related to Jeffrey Epstein. Votes are still being counted
- 41:45Speaker 12: in California's primary, and President Trump suggests Democrats are trying
- 41:49Speaker 12: to steal the vote. ABC's Alex Stone has more from
- 41:52Speaker 12: Los Angeles.
- 41:53Speaker 2: He says a U.S. attorney will investigate. The president saying, They.
- 41:56Speaker 13: Found a lot of mail-in ballots last night, shockingly.
- 41:59Speaker 14: But California did not just find a lot of mail-in ballots.
- 42:03Speaker 14: They are ballots that are legally arriving that were mailed in.
- 42:06Speaker 14: It was known for a while Republicans voted in greater
- 42:08Speaker 14: numbers earlier, and the earlier results would favor Republicans. Democrats
- 42:12Speaker 14: voted later, and so it's expected as more ballots arrive
- 42:15Speaker 14: via the mail, the Democrats will likely see gains in
- 42:18Speaker 14: the coming days.
- 42:19Speaker 12: A Colorado appeals court reversed homicide convictions against two paramedics
- 42:23Speaker 12: who injected Elijah McClain with ketamine while he was pinned

- 44:03Speaker 9: I was on the phone with about 50 of our

- 44:47Speaker 16: The money ran out. Yesterday, an auction of the $ 16
