- 0:01Speaker 1: Issues of animal welfare, I think not just because it's
- 0:04Speaker 1: the right thing to do and the moral thing to do,
- 0:06Speaker 1: but also it's, as all of you know, necessary to
- 0:09Speaker 1: fight climate change. It is now existential that we try
- 0:12Speaker 1: to reduce our meat consumption and that we try to
- 0:15Speaker 1: respect animals in all aspects of society.
- 0:19Speaker 2: You're listening to the 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Good Saturday morning. Nice to have you with us on
- 0:24Speaker 3: the 47 Morning Update. And we've got a big story
- 0:27Speaker 3: for you that has two parts to it. There are
- 0:30Speaker 3: two radicals that are running for office in this country,
- 0:32Speaker 3: El-Said and James Tallarico.
- 0:34Speaker 4: We start with El-Said.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Now he's being called out for his direct ties and
- 0:39Speaker 3: his family ties to a.
- 0:40Speaker 4: Terrorist organization, the Muslim Brotherhood.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Senator Cruz joins me to talk about that, as well
- 0:46Speaker 3: as James Tallarico, one of the most radical candidates in America.
- 0:50Speaker 3: What is he saying right now in Texas that's getting
- 0:52Speaker 3: him in trouble? We break down some of his crazy views.
- 0:56Speaker 3: But before we get to that, let me talk to
- 0:58Speaker 3: you about the midterm elections. They're heating up congressional control
- 1:02Speaker 3: and President Trump's agenda. They're hanging in the balance.
- 1:04Speaker 4: Every headline. has the potential to shift the odds.
- 1:07Speaker 3: And on Kalshi, you can trade major primaries, election outcomes,
- 1:12Speaker 3: and the biggest political storylines as they happen.
- 1:15Speaker 4: Let me give an example.
- 1:17Speaker 3: If you go to the Kalshi election hub, it is
- 1:20Speaker 3: the primary hub, midterm hub, whatever you want to call it.
- 1:22Speaker 3: There are different things like this. Which party will win
- 1:26Speaker 3: the U.S.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Senate?
- 1:26Speaker 3: Right now, Democrats are the odds 90 percent, Republicans at
- 1:30Speaker 3: 10 percent. Now, let's say you decide, all right, I'm
- 1:33Speaker 3: going to go with the Republicans. I think everybody's wrong. Well, $ 100,
- 1:36Speaker 3: it would give you.
- 1:37Speaker 5: Back $ 100.
- 1:38Speaker 3: $ 855 and change right now, if you're right. You can
- 1:43Speaker 3: also get on to the other big issues, like who
- 1:45Speaker 3: will win the Los Angeles mayor's race. That's a big one.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Or the 2028 presidential election winner. Who will it be?
- 1:53Speaker 3: All of these are up there right now on CalSheep.
- 1:56Speaker 3: And then there's that big, big, big race. Will Kim
- 1:59Speaker 3: Paxton defeat Tallarico? Right now, Paxton is currently trading at 50%,
- 2:03Speaker 3: meeting a $ 100 trade goal. would pay out $ 93 if
- 2:07Speaker 3: he beats Tallarico. Now on Kalshi, you're trading against peers
- 2:11Speaker 3: in a live market, meaning there's no house. And as
- 2:14Speaker 3: the probability changes, you can buy in and out of
- 2:16Speaker 3: your position. So download the Kalshi app and use code BEN.

- 2:40Speaker 3: It's the 47 Morning Update, and it starts right now.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 2:45Speaker 4: Senator, let's talk about El Saeed.
- 2:47Speaker 3: We called it out on this show how the media
- 2:51Speaker 3: basically asked questions to give him cover without facts, without follow-up.
- 2:55Speaker 3: We did their job for them, and it's now forced
- 2:57Speaker 3: the media to do exactly that.
- 2:59Speaker 5: Yeah, no, that's exactly right.
- 3:01Speaker 7: We've talked on this podcast multiple times about how the
- 3:03Speaker 7: two most dangerous candidates running in the entire country are
- 3:07Speaker 7: Abdul Al-Said in Michigan and James Tallarico in Texas. And
- 3:13Speaker 7: there are moments when this podcast, when Verdict is really consequential.
- 3:17Speaker 7: Our last podcast, we did a deep dive on Abdul Al-Said.
- 3:22Speaker 7: And we started with playing NBC, Kristen Welker's interview of
- 3:27Speaker 7: El-Sayed on Meet the Press. And it was the worst
- 3:31Speaker 7: example of journalistic malpractice I think we've seen in years,
- 3:35Speaker 7: if not decades. Where on Meet the Press, Welker asked, said,
- 3:40Speaker 7: there have been lots of charges that you and your
- 3:42Speaker 7: family are affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood. Are you or
- 3:45Speaker 7: your family affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood? And El-Sayed flat
- 3:48Speaker 7: out lies and says, no, no, I'm not. And Welker goes, oh, okay, great.
- 3:53Speaker 7: And Tim Russert, who used to host Meet the Press,
- 3:57Speaker 7: was almost certainly spinning in his grave because Russert was
- 4:01Speaker 7: a journalist. And when someone lied to him on Meet
- 4:03Speaker 7: the Press, he had the receipts and he would put up,
- 4:05Speaker 7: for example, the tweet from Al-Said's sister repeatedly saying, multiple
- 4:11Speaker 7: tweets saying, my family has long supported the Muslim Brotherhood,
- 4:14Speaker 7: has long been affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood. She did
- 4:17Speaker 7: none of that. They would put up Abdul Al-Said, his own,
- 4:21Speaker 7: multiple op-eds defending and advocating for the Muslim Brotherhood.
- 4:25Speaker 5: She didn't do that.
- 4:26Speaker 7: She simply said, the analogy I use is it was
- 4:29Speaker 7: like asking Al Capone, are you a criminal?
- 4:31Speaker 5: No, I'm not a criminal.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Okay, good.
- 4:33Speaker 5: NBC News is set. And so this podcast, we just
- 4:37Speaker 5: filleted that.
- 4:38Speaker 7: We laid out On Wednesday's pod, if you didn't listen
- 4:41Speaker 7: to Wednesday's pod, you should go back and listen to it.
- 4:43Speaker 7: It's one of the more important pods we did, laying
- 4:46Speaker 7: out chapter and verse, the evidence. that Abdul Al-Sayed supports
- 4:51Speaker 7: the Muslim Brotherhood, that his family has long supported the
- 4:54Speaker 7: Muslim Brotherhood, that the biggest donor to his super PAC
- 4:58Speaker 7: is his father-in-law, who founded an organization that is an
- 5:02Speaker 7: unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation criminal case, a
- 5:06Speaker 7: criminal case of funneling $ 12.
- 5:08Speaker 5: Million to Hamas.
- 5:10Speaker 7: All of this is the evidence, all of this NBC
- 5:13Speaker 7: failed to cover. Well, I'll tell you, I think the heat,
- 5:16Speaker 7: I think NBC actually felt embarrassed because they got called
- 5:19Speaker 7: out for complete lack of journalistic integrity. And so I
- 5:23Speaker 7: think they felt a need to try to correct it,
- 5:26Speaker 7: to try to demonstrate that they're not purely hacks. And
- 5:30Speaker 7: so a day or two later, an NBC reporter, Tom Yamas,
- 5:34Speaker 7: had the chance to interview El Saeed. In this case,
- 5:38Speaker 7: you actually saw a journalist behave as a journalist.
- 5:41Speaker 3: I would say we actually saw journalism like in national TV.
- 5:44Speaker 4: It was amazing to see this. It was refreshing.
- 5:47Speaker 7: And it did not go well for Abdul El-Sayed.
- 5:50Speaker 5: Here, give a listen.
- 5:51Speaker 8: The Islamist movement, the Muslim Brotherhood.
- 5:53Speaker 9: You don't have any ties?
- 5:54Speaker 10: No.
- 5:55Speaker 8: And your family doesn't?
- 5:56Speaker 7: No.
- 5:56Speaker 9: But newly revealed past tweets from Al-Sayed's half-sister appearing to
- 6:01Speaker 9: call his answer into question.
- 6:03Speaker 8: These tweets have emerged now. Had an amazing talk with
- 6:05Speaker 8: my mom about her activism in the Muslim Brotherhood during
- 6:08Speaker 8: the early 70s while she was in college. Hashtag respect.
- 6:11Speaker 8: My family has long been an MB.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Let me finish.
- 6:13Speaker 8: Praying for all my family that supports the MB in Egypt.
- 6:16Speaker 8: Can you just explain it?
- 6:17Speaker 9: Yeah, Tom. It's funny to me. I was born in
- 6:20Speaker 9: 1984 down the street in Rochester Hills. I was raised
- 6:23Speaker 9: here in Michigan, went to the University of Michigan, rebuilt
- 6:25Speaker 9: the health department in the city, led the health department
- 6:27Speaker 9: in this county. Hey, you want to ask me about
- 6:29Speaker 9: what was happening in Egypt in 1970? Are you serious?
- 6:32Speaker 8: I get it, but you were asked a question and
- 6:33Speaker 8: you gave an answer.
- 6:34Speaker 9: This is kind of like the same. Yeah, I'm telling you.
- 6:36Speaker 9: I have no ties. We have no ties.
- 6:38Speaker 8: So your mother had no ties?
- 6:39Speaker 9: I have never had these conversations with my mother.
- 6:42Speaker 8: I wasn't raised by my mother. So you were unaware?
- 6:44Speaker 9: But I'm just telling you that like... You're using hearsay
- 6:47Speaker 9: evidence from a tweet? It's just not serious. It's just
- 6:49Speaker 9: not serious.
- 6:49Speaker 8: But you've also gone after the president for truthfulness. You've
- 6:51Speaker 8: also gone after the president for truthfulness. So when people
- 6:54Speaker 8: ask you a question, they all do expect the truth.
- 6:55Speaker 9: And do you think, are you insinuating that somehow I
- 6:58Speaker 9: was lying?
- 6:59Speaker 8: I don't know. That's why I'm asking you.
- 7:00Speaker 9: And I'm telling you I was not.
- 7:01Speaker 4: I love it.
- 7:02Speaker 3: I was telling you I was not. And this is,
- 7:05Speaker 3: my mom didn't raise me. That's the new alibi is
- 7:07Speaker 3: my mom didn't raise me. That's a far stretch from
- 7:10Speaker 3: what he said the other day, isn't it?
- 7:12Speaker 7: Are you insinuating that I was lying? No, I'm not insinuating,
- 7:15Speaker 7: and I'm stating flat out. You were lying. You still are.
- 7:20Speaker 7: And look, I'm glad Tom Yamas did the tweets. That's
- 7:23Speaker 7: the first step, and that was good. You could follow
- 7:27Speaker 7: up then, because there's more evidence than that.
- 7:29Speaker 5: Okay.
- 7:30Speaker 7: Well, why did you write op-ed after op-ed after op-ed
- 7:34Speaker 7: defending the Muslim Brotherhood, advocating for the Muslim Brotherhood, agreeing
- 7:37Speaker 7: with the Muslim Brotherhood? Why did you sign a letter
- 7:40Speaker 7: urging the Muslim Brotherhood to purge the press and the police?
- 7:44Speaker 7: That's actually Abdul's record, his own record.
- 7:46Speaker 5: That's not his sister. That's not his mom. That's him.
- 7:49Speaker 7: NBC still hasn't asked him that. They haven't asked him
- 7:52Speaker 7: the question. Now, why is it that your father-in-law is
- 7:56Speaker 7: the single largest donor of It's given over $ 400, 000 to
- 8:00Speaker 7: the Super PAC supporting your campaign right now. This is
- 8:03Speaker 7: not in the 1970s. This is today. Your campaign for Senate,
- 8:08Speaker 7: your father-in-law. founded, was one of the original founders of ISNA,
- 8:13Speaker 7: the Islamic Society of North America. ISNA is an unindicted
- 8:17Speaker 7: co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation criminal prosecution for being
- 8:23Speaker 7: essentially an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, for being an
- 8:26Speaker 7: unindicted co-conspirator and funneling $ 12 million to Hamas to fund terrorism.
- 8:31Speaker 7: NBC hasn't asked him that question either. And here's another
- 8:35Speaker 7: question they could ask him. They can ask him, why
- 8:39Speaker 7: did the Muslim Brotherhood vocally and energetically celebrate your winning
- 8:45Speaker 7: the primary? And in particular, let me read. So here's
- 8:51Speaker 7: a story from the Midwesterner. Muslim Brotherhood official website celebrates
- 8:55Speaker 7: Abdul El-Sayed's U.S. Senate primary victory. Follows documented ties between
- 9:00Speaker 7: El-Sayed and groups identified by the federal government as fronts
- 9:03Speaker 7: for or extensions of the Muslim Brotherhood in the U.S.,
- 9:06Speaker 7: The Muslim Brotherhood's official news site on Wednesday celebrated the
- 9:09Speaker 7: former Wayne County health official's victory over Congresswoman Haley Stevens,
- 9:13Speaker 7: described as, quote, one of the most prominent figures supporting
- 9:18Speaker 7: the occupation within the Democratic Party. Ikhwan's online ex-account calls
- 9:24Speaker 7: the site, quote, the Muslim Brotherhood official website. Quote, during
- 9:30Speaker 7: his election campaign, El-Said focused on calling for the cessation
- 9:34Speaker 7: of unconditional U.S. military aid to the Zionist occupation, criticizing
- 9:39Speaker 7: the continued U.S. support of the war on Gaza, stop,
- 9:43Speaker 7: and demanding that taxpayer money be redirected to domestic issues.
- 9:48Speaker 7: The article was titled, quote, Abdul Rahman al-Said conquers the
- 9:53Speaker 7: Zionists and runs for the Senate. That is the Muslim
- 9:57Speaker 7: Brotherhood celebrating his victory. And there's a reason they're celebrating
- 10:02Speaker 7: his victory, because Abdul al-Said, his sister, his mother, his father-in-law,
- 10:09Speaker 7: his entire family have a decades-long history of supporting the
- 10:13Speaker 7: terrorist organization, the Muslim Brotherhood. And if he's in the Senate...
- 10:17Speaker 7: He will have access to classified information that will endanger
- 10:21Speaker 7: the lives of U.S. servicemen and women and U.S. intelligent
- 10:23Speaker 7: assets serving undercover.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Next, story number two.
- 10:27Speaker 3: We started by talking about there's two of the most
- 10:30Speaker 3: dangerous candidates in America, El Saeed and then James Tallarico.
- 10:34Speaker 3: James Tallarico is a guy that is so extreme. It
- 10:39Speaker 3: is one of those where you go back to his
- 10:42Speaker 3: record and the record is just incredible. One of the
- 10:45Speaker 3: things in his record is his obsession with transing children.
- 10:50Speaker 3: And he was asked about it at the CNN town
- 10:52Speaker 3: hall and it shows you who he really is.
- 10:54Speaker 7: Well, Tallarico is extreme. As I said, he and Al
- 10:57Speaker 7: Saeed are the two most extreme candidates running today. Uh,
- 11:01Speaker 7: Tallarico is also tied in the Texas Senate race. It
- 11:04Speaker 7: is a dead heat. He and Ken Paxson are tied. Uh,
- 11:07Speaker 7: the news just broke that, that James Tallarico raised $ 64
- 11:12Speaker 7: million in the third quarter, which is the largest third
- 11:15Speaker 7: quarter of any Senate candidate in history. So no Senate
- 11:19Speaker 7: candidate in the history of America has raised more money
- 11:22Speaker 7: in the third quarter before Election Day. That brings his
- 11:24Speaker 7: total to more than $ 134 million that he has raised.
- 11:28Speaker 7: So all across the country, leftists are flooding money into
- 11:32Speaker 7: Tallarico's campaign because they understand.
- 11:34Speaker 5: He's one of them. He is a Marxist. He is
- 11:36Speaker 5: an Islamist. He is a radical.
- 11:38Speaker 7: And understand, he is a young guy. He literally came
- 11:42Speaker 7: of age as a woke social justice warrior. So all
- 11:46Speaker 7: of the idiocies of woke, this guy believes. So he
- 11:49Speaker 7: says things like God is non-binary. He says things like
- 11:52Speaker 7: there's six different genders. He says things like our immigration
- 11:55Speaker 7: policy should be a welcome mat on our southern border
- 11:58Speaker 7: to welcome illegal immigrants into America. And he believes this stuff,
- 12:02Speaker 7: but you're right.
- 12:02Speaker 4: Believes it through and through.
- 12:04Speaker 7: He is particularly obsessed with with transgender issues and wanting
- 12:09Speaker 7: to do transgender surgeries on kids. He has been one
- 12:13Speaker 7: of the most vocal and aggressive defenders of sterilizing and
- 12:18Speaker 7: mutilating kids in support of the transgender ideology. Listen to
- 12:24Speaker 7: him talking about this issue.
- 12:27Speaker 11: And this discussion is a difficult one. It's one that
- 12:30Speaker 11: requires nuance and thoughtfulness in the state legislature. The Republican
- 12:37Speaker 11: majority tried to pass an extreme ban that would go
- 12:41Speaker 11: after all kinds of different forms of health care, not
- 12:44Speaker 11: just gender reassignment surgeries.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Not just gender reassignment surgeries, which he wants you to
- 12:50Speaker 3: believe is mainstream. But he says it is extreme to
- 12:52Speaker 3: actually want to stop mutilation of children and sterilization of children.
- 12:58Speaker 3: You and I've said this a lot. We keep saying
- 12:59Speaker 3: it when they tell you what they believe in, who
- 13:01Speaker 3: they are. You need to believe them.
- 13:03Speaker 7: Yeah, this topic is not a difficult one. It's not
- 13:05Speaker 7: a complicated one. It's not a nuanced one. It is
- 13:08Speaker 7: a simple question for a little boy, for an eight-year-old boy.
- 13:11Speaker 7: Should you be able to cut his testicles off? I
- 13:14Speaker 7: find the answer to that very easy, very simple. No,
- 13:18Speaker 7: you do not have the right to cut the testicles
- 13:21Speaker 7: off of an eight-year-old boy. You do not have the
- 13:23Speaker 7: right to take an eight-year-old girl and to sterilize her,
- 13:26Speaker 7: to engage in surgery or use chemicals that make her
- 13:31Speaker 7: for the rest of her life unable to bear children.
- 13:35Speaker 7: An eight-year-old child lacks the emotional maturity to make those
- 13:38Speaker 7: kind of decisions for herself or himself. And any adult
- 13:42Speaker 7: doing that is child abuse. But in Tallarico's world, do
- 13:45Speaker 7: you know what the child abuse is? It is not
- 13:49Speaker 7: sterilizing your kids. And he has advocated if you refuse to...
- 13:54Speaker 7: Put your child under the knife if your child believes
- 13:58Speaker 7: that he or she is transgender, that you are abusing
- 14:01Speaker 7: your kids. That is radical. And that's who this guy is.
- 14:05Speaker 7: I want you to listen to his views now on
- 14:08Speaker 7: amnesty and that he wants. I'm going to spoil the headline.
- 14:14Speaker 7: He wants to grant mass amnesty to tens of millions
- 14:18Speaker 7: of illegal immigrants.
- 14:19Speaker 5: Give a listen.
- 14:19Speaker 11: And then lastly, I think we have to build a
- 14:21Speaker 11: pathway to citizenship. for our neighbors who have been here
- 14:24Speaker 11: for years and decades. They should pay a fine. They
- 14:27Speaker 11: should pay back taxes.
- 14:28Speaker 1: They should learn English.
- 14:29Speaker 11: And if they can do all those things, I think
- 14:31Speaker 11: they deserve a shot at joining our communities as full citizens.
- 14:35Speaker 4: There it is. Let's just give him amnesty. I love how,
- 14:38Speaker 4: by the way, he's like.
- 14:39Speaker 7: Oh, they should learn English. 20 to 30 million illegals.
- 14:41Speaker 7: 20 to 30 million illegals. He wants to make them
- 14:43Speaker 7: all citizens. Understand there's one reason for it. He believes
- 14:46Speaker 7: the illegals will all vote Democrat. You think things are
- 14:48Speaker 7: bad now. You think the Democrats are voting for Marxist
- 14:51Speaker 7: and Islamist now. With 20 to 30 illegals, Texas turns blue.
- 14:55Speaker 7: The country is lost. And he's being very explicit. That's
- 14:58Speaker 7: what he's going to fight to do.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:01Speaker 7: Now I want you to listen to what he wants
- 15:02Speaker 7: to do to oil and gas. You know, Texas, oil
- 15:05Speaker 7: and gas is a monster industry. Millions of jobs in
- 15:09Speaker 7: Texas depend on oil and gas.
- 15:11Speaker 5: Well, you know what?
- 15:11Speaker 7: James Tallarico wants to destroy those jobs for millions of Texans.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Listen.
- 15:15Speaker 10: I think the thing that frustrates me is the false equivalency.
- 15:19Speaker 10: We say, well, no energy source is perfect. except renewables
- 15:25Speaker 10: maybe are more variable, but then fossil fuels are destroying
- 15:30Speaker 10: the planet.
- 15:31Speaker 1: And so it's like, are those two things on equal footing?
- 15:34Speaker 1: I guess my only point is.
- 15:36Speaker 10: I want Texas to be number one in renewables going
- 15:40Speaker 10: forward in the 21st century. Right now it feels a
- 15:42Speaker 10: little bit like we're the number one supplier of cassette
- 15:47Speaker 10: tapes in 1988. It's time to transition because that's not
- 15:50Speaker 10: going to last very long.
- 15:51Speaker 1: And so I guess I just don't know where the hostility.
- 15:53Speaker 10: Comes from in trying to figure out a safer, cleaner,
- 15:57Speaker 10: greener path forward.
- 15:58Speaker 4: This is as radical as it gets.
- 16:00Speaker 7: And by the way, for those of y'all who are
- 16:02Speaker 7: not watching online, this is one that's worth watching on
- 16:05Speaker 7: YouTube because he's in a legislative hearing. He's in a
- 16:09Speaker 7: legislative hearing. He's wearing his mask. It's very cute. You
- 16:13Speaker 7: can see the other people in the hearing are not
- 16:15Speaker 7: wearing their masks. So this is late. This is after COVID. But,
- 16:19Speaker 7: you know, it's a virtue signal. And by the way,
- 16:21Speaker 7: to this day, you still see people walking through airports
- 16:24Speaker 7: wearing masks. And I'm grateful for that because it's like self-identifying.
- 16:27Speaker 7: It's like holding up a sign going, I'm mentally ill.
- 16:31Speaker 7: I'm a crazy person. And I'm like, I'm glad. Thank
- 16:33Speaker 7: you for putting that display on. I know you're a
- 16:35Speaker 7: crazy person. I'm going to give you a wide berth
- 16:38Speaker 7: and you can be worried about all the things that
- 16:41Speaker 7: frighten you. Well, little James Tallarico, he's wearing his mask
- 16:45Speaker 7: saying that oil and gas is destroying the world and
- 16:48Speaker 7: we have to transition away from it with no care
- 16:52Speaker 7: that millions of jobs in the state of Texas would
- 16:54Speaker 7: be obliterated.
- 16:56Speaker 5: He's happy to take away your job. Not only that.
- 16:59Speaker 7: Maybe you say, okay, not everyone works in oil and
- 17:02Speaker 7: gas in Texas. You know, some people work in ag.
- 17:04Speaker 7: Some people work in, say, cattle. We're, you know, massive
- 17:08Speaker 7: cattle producer.
- 17:09Speaker 5: Well, you know what?
- 17:09Speaker 7: If you're a cattle producer, if you're a rancher, he
- 17:12Speaker 7: wants to destroy your livelihood too. Listen to him talking
- 17:15Speaker 7: about how much he hates meat.
- 17:19Speaker 1: But we have, I think, heard more and more issues
- 17:22Speaker 1: of animal welfare. I think not just because it's the
- 17:25Speaker 1: right thing to do and the moral thing to do,
- 17:27Speaker 1: but also it's, as all of you know, necessary to
- 17:29Speaker 1: fight climate change. It is now existential that we try
- 17:33Speaker 1: to reduce our meat consumption and that we try to
- 17:36Speaker 1: respect animals in all aspects of society. And so I
- 17:40Speaker 1: am proud to say that our campaign has officially become
- 17:44Speaker 1: a non-meat campaign. So we are only buying vegan products
- 17:51Speaker 1: from our local vegan businesses. Some of you may know
- 17:54Speaker 1: Big Nona's. They were little Nona's and then they opened
- 17:57Speaker 1: up a brick and mortar, some of their big donuts,
- 17:59Speaker 1: but we just got our pizza from there today. The
- 18:02Speaker 1: point is, I think all of us, not just policymakers,
- 18:06Speaker 1: but everyone has to take personal responsibility in this effort.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Nothing says woke like a vegan campaign where you got
- 18:13Speaker 3: your vegan pizza in a state that has like massive
- 18:17Speaker 3: pride in our ranchers in Texas.
- 18:19Speaker 4: But you know what? You go all vegan, buddy. Knock
- 18:21Speaker 4: yourself out.
- 18:22Speaker 7: Well, and again, the video. Tallarico is, of course, wearing
- 18:25Speaker 7: a mask while he said yes. And and by the way,
- 18:28Speaker 7: you go to his campaign rallies now and he's got
- 18:31Speaker 7: people showing up wearing masks in 2026.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Oh, yes.
- 18:34Speaker 7: These people are nuts. These these people are little woke
- 18:37Speaker 7: Marxist and Islamist. And listen to what he just said there.
- 18:42Speaker 7: He says it is existential to reduce meat consumption. If
- 18:47Speaker 7: you are a farmer, if you are a rancher, he
- 18:50Speaker 7: wants to destroy your way of life. And by the way,
- 18:52Speaker 7: one of the challenges in the midterms is a lot
- 18:54Speaker 7: of farmers and ranchers are not happy right now, are
- 18:56Speaker 7: pissed off right now. And listen, the cost of diesel
- 19:00Speaker 7: is too high, the cost of fertilizer is too high.
- 19:02Speaker 7: There are reasons that farmers and ranchers are unhappy. I'll
- 19:05Speaker 7: tell you what, if James Tallarico of Texas gets a senator...
- 19:08Speaker 7: who wants to destroy oil and gas and destroy cattle ranching.
- 19:12Speaker 7: That is millions and millions of jobs. And by the way,
- 19:15Speaker 7: this show is listened to all over the country. It
- 19:17Speaker 7: turns out some of the rest of us like meat.
- 19:21Speaker 7: We like hamburgers. We like steaks. There's a lot of
- 19:23Speaker 7: cattle ranching across the country, although I will tell you
- 19:26Speaker 7: it's interesting. There are parts of the country. So, for example, Mississippi,
- 19:30Speaker 7: do you know what they call the process of raising cattle?
- 19:33Speaker 4: You know what?
- 19:34Speaker 3: I'm actually embarrassed because of my ties to Ole Miss
- 19:37Speaker 3: that I don't know this answer. I'm hoping as soon
- 19:40Speaker 3: as you said I'm like, oh, yeah, that's it. So
- 19:41Speaker 3: tell me.
- 19:42Speaker 7: So Cindy Hyde-Smith, senator from Mississippi, who used to be
- 19:46Speaker 7: the Ag Commissioner in Mississippi, she, in our Senate lunch,
- 19:49Speaker 7: she described, she says she spends a lot of time
- 19:52Speaker 7: defending cattle farming.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Yes, okay.
- 19:55Speaker 5: And the rest of us look at her and we're like,
- 19:57Speaker 5: cattle farming?
- 19:58Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 19:58Speaker 7: What the hell is cattle farming? Do you guys like
- 20:01Speaker 7: plant them in the ground and put fertilizer on them?
- 20:04Speaker 7: Like in Texas, we do cattle ranching. We don't farm
- 20:06Speaker 7: our cattle. We ranch our cattle and we farm... soybeans
- 20:10Speaker 7: and cotton and things you actually plant, but.
- 20:13Speaker 5: It's very weird.
- 20:13Speaker 4: She's going back to the pig farms. That's where she
- 20:15Speaker 4: gets it from, the pig farming.
- 20:17Speaker 7: I'm just saying the Southeast, they do cattle farming. The
- 20:19Speaker 7: rest of the country, they do cattle ranching. Either way,
- 20:23Speaker 7: I'm for the farmers. I'm for the ranchers. And this zealot,
- 20:27Speaker 7: wants to destroy your job. If you have a job
- 20:29Speaker 7: in oil and gas, he wants to destroy your job.
- 20:32Speaker 7: If you have a job in ag, he wants to
- 20:33Speaker 7: destroy your job. If you have a job in manufacturing,
- 20:36Speaker 7: he wants to destroy your job. And your kids, he
- 20:39Speaker 7: wants to make it against the law for you not
- 20:43Speaker 7: to mutilate your kids.
- 20:44Speaker 5: He's a radical candidate. He's got to be defeated.
