  SPEAKER_00: For a start, I want to tell you I came across this beautiful scripture this week, and I'm going to start with that.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm just uh sharing it with you because the word of God is the word of God.

  SPEAKER_00: It says, Blessed is the name of the Lord from the time forth and forever.

  SPEAKER_00: From the rising of the sun to the setting.

  SPEAKER_00: The name of the Lord is to be praised.

  SPEAKER_00: The Lord is high above all nations.

  SPEAKER_00: His glory is above the heavens.

  SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.

  SPEAKER_00: What a beautiful passage of scripture.

  SPEAKER_00: Blessed is the name of the Lord from this time forth and forevermore.

  SPEAKER_00: And that's how I want to start the day.

  SPEAKER_00: Blessed be his holy name.

  SPEAKER_00: And today I'm going, as I said, straight into the word.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm very excited to share this word with you because some of you are going to experience the presence of God this beautiful morning.

  SPEAKER_00: And I'm going to take you to the Old Testament today.

  SPEAKER_00: And I'll give you a brief about a time which some of you probably don't even know has happened.

  SPEAKER_00: So I'm going back to, you know, God promised the Israelites a particular land.

  SPEAKER_00: He brought them out of slavery.
• 1:30
  SPEAKER_00: He takes them to the land through Moses and then Joshua.
• 1:36
  SPEAKER_00: And that's the promised land.
• 1:37
  SPEAKER_00: But when, you know, many years after they are in the land, I want to tell you that they are thrown out of the land.

  SPEAKER_00: I don't know if you know that.
• 1:45
  SPEAKER_00: So they no longer live in Israel, they no longer live in Judea, they no longer live in Jerusalem.

  SPEAKER_00: They no longer live in the land that God had promised their forefathers.

  SPEAKER_00: And the Bible says, and even history records it, that they were exiled and no longer living in that place that was written to them by God.

  SPEAKER_00: Now, there are many reasons for that, and I'm not getting into that this morning because that will dilute the entire message.

  SPEAKER_00: But there is now this time when Jesus, uh when God decides that he's going to bring his people back, back to the land of Israel.

  SPEAKER_00: And I'll tell you why.

  SPEAKER_00: It's his word.
• 2:34
  SPEAKER_00: It was God's word to them that he's giving them a particular land.

  SPEAKER_00: It was God's word to them that he called out the land.

  SPEAKER_00: It was God's word to them where he said, This land is for your forefathers.

  SPEAKER_00: So he can't do anything about it.
• 2:48
  SPEAKER_00: It has to happen.

  SPEAKER_00: So now it's reached a time now where he has decided that he's going to bring his people back into the land that he promised their forefathers.

  SPEAKER_00: And stick with me today because I'm getting to the crux of the story, I'm getting to the main event, as they call it.

  SPEAKER_00: And this is just the background of the prelude to it, the build-up to it.

  SPEAKER_00: So stick with the story and the timelines.

  SPEAKER_00: So God now has decided that he wants to bring his people back into the promised land.

  SPEAKER_00: And let me tell you, he picks a very specific person to do it.

  SPEAKER_00: And I'll tell you something about God.

  SPEAKER_00: He is he plans everything to the T, and you will think that God is not in everything.

  SPEAKER_00: He's in everything.
• 3:45
  SPEAKER_00: He's in every little raindrop that falls from the sky.

  SPEAKER_00: And I'll tell you that he picks someone so specific that he's from the line of David.

  SPEAKER_00: He eventually is part of the genealogy of Jesus.

  SPEAKER_00: He's from the tribe of Judah.

  SPEAKER_00: And he picks this person who's someone who would rebuild the temple of God in Jerusalem.

  SPEAKER_00: That was part of the plan of what this person has to do.

  SPEAKER_00: And by the way, he had also planned the place where it will be built.

  SPEAKER_00: So I told you, God is in the details of everything.

  SPEAKER_00: He's in a minutiae of everything.

  SPEAKER_00: And as I said, the name of this person I haven't told you.

  SPEAKER_00: His name is Zerubabel.

  SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.

  SPEAKER_00: So the person that God has picked to do this work is somebody by the name of Zerubabel.

  SPEAKER_00: He comes from the line of David.
• 4:57
  SPEAKER_00: He's part of the genealogy of Jesus mentioned in the Bible as well.

  SPEAKER_00: He's from the tribe of Judah.

  SPEAKER_00: Let me tell you, Jesus has a name called Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

  SPEAKER_00: And as I'm going through the story, just as God had planned it, he picks one man to bring himself back in glory to an entire generation.

  SPEAKER_00: Let me tell you, I told you they got thrown out of Israel, they got thrown out of the promised land.

  SPEAKER_00: There are other kings that come and take over them.

  SPEAKER_00: It was not the plan.

  SPEAKER_00: But as I said, I'm not getting into that.

  SPEAKER_00: So he has picked one person now, and he has decided that this person will do what I need him to do, and I'm going to come back into the lives of my people.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm going to come back into the lives of an entire generation and generations after that I had promised that I'm their father.

  SPEAKER_00: And as I said, he picks one man to bring his people back to the promise that he made to them.

  SPEAKER_00: It's not just a land, it's a promise.

  SPEAKER_00: And some of you know it.

  SPEAKER_00: As I said, some of you hearing this for the first time, just stick with the story on the storyline because, as I said, I'm coming to the main event.

  SPEAKER_00: And just as these events panned out for you know Israel and the people of God today, this word I believe is for many of you.

  SPEAKER_00: And I have to call this out for the point in time that you are actually in right now.

  SPEAKER_00: I have been sent to release to release this word today upon your life.

  SPEAKER_00: And yes, it's you.

  SPEAKER_00: And it comes from the beautiful book of Zechariah, the fourth chapter, and the tenth verse.

  SPEAKER_00: And I'm reading it to you, and you will feel the presence of the most high.

  SPEAKER_00: But these seven will be glad when they see the plum line in the hand of Zerubbabel.

  SPEAKER_00: These are the eyes of the Lord which range to and fro throughout the earth.

  SPEAKER_00: I told you God picked this man called Zerubaban.

  SPEAKER_00: Some of you can feel the presence of God right now, and I want to tell you, he picked him out of nowhere.

  SPEAKER_00: He had a very specific plan for him, and today he's telling you and me, for who has despised the day of small things.

  SPEAKER_00: And I'm reading the scripture again, and you will feel wave upon wave of God's glory upon you.

  SPEAKER_00: For who has despised the day of small things?

  SPEAKER_00: But these seven will be glad when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubabel.

  SPEAKER_00: You might not have got the entire scripture, but I will tell you what it is.

  SPEAKER_00: You are here this morning for a reason.

  SPEAKER_00: It's not chance.

  SPEAKER_00: And whatever point I told you that you are in right now, this morning, this day, this timeline that you're listening to this, is to show you God's glory and his salvation in your life.

  SPEAKER_00: And maybe some of you are at a point where you think you don't know what I'm going through.

  SPEAKER_00: I have lost things.

  SPEAKER_00: I have had things taken away from me.

  SPEAKER_00: And maybe you have.

  SPEAKER_00: Maybe you have had things taken away from you.

  SPEAKER_00: Maybe you have right now you're sitting in a position and you're looking around you and you're thinking everything that I thought dear to me is not with me.

  SPEAKER_00: And it could be as simple as a job, it could be your health, it could be your best friend, it could be a family member.

  SPEAKER_00: But I want to tell you something.

  SPEAKER_00: Aligned with the word of God, that you have been given something today.

  SPEAKER_00: And you have, and you need to look, you need to see through it and look for it because it might be something really small.

  SPEAKER_00: It's maybe something you don't consider worthwhile.

  SPEAKER_00: It's maybe something you don't even want.

  SPEAKER_00: But I'm here to tell you, aligned with the word of God through the scripture in Zechariah 4.10, he is the God of small beginnings.

  SPEAKER_00: He's the God of small beginnings.

  SPEAKER_00: Take it up and do what you have to do because God will do the rest.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm actually just here to tell you that from Zechariah 4:10, I'm going to read it to you again.

  SPEAKER_00: For who has despised the day of small things?

  SPEAKER_00: Who has despised it?

  SPEAKER_00: In fact, this is an angel of God speaking, saying that I've given a plumb line.

  SPEAKER_00: You know what's a plumb line?

  SPEAKER_00: They're talking about a plumb line being given in the hand of a person called Zerubbabel.

  SPEAKER_00: Let me tell you, Zerubbabel built the temple of God back in Jerusalem.

  SPEAKER_00: For those of you who didn't know, it was destroyed by foreign kings.

  SPEAKER_00: So in today's day and age, I'm going to look at this as a spanner and say that even if he's given you a small, tiny little spanner for that smallest screw possible, the creator of heaven and earth is asking you this morning for who will despise the day of small things, because his eyes have gone to and fro on the land, the entire earth.

  SPEAKER_00: And he's given the plumb line in your hand.

  SPEAKER_00: As I said, it might not be something you want, it might not be that beautiful thing you expected.

  SPEAKER_00: It might not be as grand as you thought.

  SPEAKER_00: It might not have the packaging that you want.

  SPEAKER_00: It might not have the name you associated it to be with.

  SPEAKER_00: Might not be the right color, shape, size.

  SPEAKER_00: It might not be so many things.

  SPEAKER_00: But today you have been given something.

  SPEAKER_00: And he, I'm here to tell you, aligned with this beautiful scripture of God, that he is the God of small beginnings.

  SPEAKER_00: And I have a perfect example to share with you this morning.

  SPEAKER_00: And I'm going to leave you for the rest for you to figure out because you need to.

  SPEAKER_00: I told you, maybe this morning, take a sieve and look at what it is.

  SPEAKER_00: And that's exactly what he's asking you to.

  SPEAKER_00: That's the reason why I'm here.

  SPEAKER_00: Is to tell you that small little thing is that thing that God has given you.

  SPEAKER_00: There was no place.

  SPEAKER_00: That small beginning was born in a manger.

  SPEAKER_00: It's a place where animals were kept.

  SPEAKER_00: It's like a shed.

  SPEAKER_00: And was wrapped in swollen cloths.

  SPEAKER_00: That small beginning has saved mankind from that day until now and forevermore.

  SPEAKER_00: For generation unto generation.

  SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.

  SPEAKER_00: That small beginning is Jesus.

  SPEAKER_00: I told you today Jesus is going to be with you.

  SPEAKER_00: He's going to come to you.

  SPEAKER_00: I told you you're going to feel the presence of the Most High because He's here to tell you that He is the God of small beginnings and do not despise that small beginning.

  SPEAKER_00: And there's no other example that I can give you this beautiful morning, besides the fact that He sent down His Son just as a small beginning.

  SPEAKER_00: That mankind will be saved through Him.

  SPEAKER_00: And there's someone over here who's just who's broken inside and you can't show it because you're trying to put up a brave front to others around you.

  SPEAKER_00: But I think you've lost something that's really important to you.

  SPEAKER_00: And you're holding it together because the people around you need to see you strong.

  SPEAKER_00: I don't understand your situation, but I understand that situations like that too happen.

  SPEAKER_00: And this is straight from the Most High for you.

  SPEAKER_00: It's in the words of Jesus.

  SPEAKER_00: Truly, truly, when Jesus says, it means you need to pay attention, and he's telling you this morning, truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone.

  SPEAKER_00: But if it dies, that's when it bears much fruit.

  SPEAKER_00: And then it goes on to the scripture which says, He's just a lot of small beginnings.

  SPEAKER_00: Before Zerubabel, you will become a plane, oh you great mountain.

  SPEAKER_00: That's the scripture.

  SPEAKER_00: In front of Zerubabel, oh great mountain, you will become a plane.

  SPEAKER_00: And the topstone will shout out glory and grace.

  SPEAKER_00: This is a deep scripture, and I want to tell you this beautiful morning.

  SPEAKER_00: Do not despise the small beginning that God has given you.

  SPEAKER_00: It might be something really small, just take it up.

  SPEAKER_00: He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

  SPEAKER_00: And only when it falls on good soil will it multiply 30, 60, and 100fold.
