Thank you so much to all guys who support much. ⁓ both episodes that have been ⁓ reacting to a week and then previewing the next, so basically just the last two episodes are both over a hundred, of course, last week's five ninety one right now. I mean this is episode ten that we're doing right now and I think We've got three episodes of over a hundred views, only one under fifty on YouTube alone. That's really awesome. But that that tells you the people love football and shout out everybody that's listened. I mean, whether you listen for just to hear about your team or for five seconds, I don't care. You you listen, you got the views up, much appreciated. ⁓ Episode ten, we're at thirty six subscribers on YouTube. We're almost a fifty followers on X. We're at forty eight, I believe, and then almost almost to a hundred on Instagram. Almost to a hundred on Instagram. Yep. Thank you so much. I just ha I want to say something real quick about that. ⁓ so we have some kind of exciting stuff in the works coming up. ⁓ later this year we're getting a a studio, our own studio. So that's really cool. So that's gonna allow us to do more more stuff, which is kind of what we've been talking about wanting to do anyways. And add the video element. ⁓ but with that, ⁓ with these views, and I'm ha thank you guys, everyone again, like so not only did we hit two hundred ⁓ by ourselves, we hit three hundred, four hundred, five hundred, and now six hundred, you know? So that's incredible. We're not even ten episodes in. We're now at episode ten. ⁓ that's crazy. With that being said though, we need you guys to subscribe and and listen on Like streaming services and stuff. We thank you if you are wherever you're listening, it's great. Thank you. Subscribe wherever you're listening. Go ahead and just stop what you're doing right now. Like, comment, subscribe on the YouTube right now. Follow, leave us a rating on Spotify or Apple Music. Appreciate the engagement. And then you'll be seeing plugged throughout the episodes our social media channels. Follow those as well. When I'm not working on a Saturday and there's football on, X is going crazy. FYI. You know who's on the Twitter. Tweeting and there'd be there'd be quality content, man. One of the tweets blew up recently this weekend. Man, I just like to talk, you know? You know what I mean? I just like to say stuff out loud and X allows me to do that. And actually I'm gonna go ahead and pull up the tweet that did go crazy. Yeah, so the tweet, Pac twelve tweeted on Saturday a gif that was ⁓ grabbed from the USA broadcast of the San Marcus River. And I basically tweeted off the Pac twelve count and said, You know, USA's done way better than the CW showcasing the towns because it's One thing to show us the stadium and all that, but I wanna see I wanna see around San Marcus if I'm watching ⁓ and I'm a fan of Utah State or Fresno State. If I'm watching a Colorado State game, I wanna see around Fort Collins. ⁓ you know, it goes for every school. And USA did a really good job of that. So I tweeted that and right now nineteen thousand views, four hundred and five likes. ⁓ it actually got some likes from some pretty important people as well. ⁓ You said four ⁓ five. Holy cow. Four and five likes, but ⁓ Almost twenty K views. That's my highest tweet ever coming from my phone. So shout out to that. And ⁓ yeah, and shout out to the USA network. I think ⁓ I didn't even tell you all this, but I want to start with talking about ⁓ the job that they've been doing. ⁓ and just kind of go into that. ⁓ the CW broadcast is pretty mid when you compare it to what USA's doing. And I also want to throw in how awesome it is that, you know, I'm I was at a parade on ⁓ yesterday morning, Saturday. ⁓ back home with my family and so I didn't have a TV so I've got the game pulled up on my phone and it says about to start Texas State and North Texas. Of course I'm watching my alma mater, right? And I'm watching the Premier League. I'm watching Arsenal in Brighton, which is ⁓ correct me if I'm wrong 'cause I'm not a soccer guy or a European football guy. That is the most watched European football in the world outside of the World Cup. It's usually the biggest league in the world. And it starts with the Premier League and then it rolls into Pac twelve football. That is so cool. I mean the sideline reporter, a studio woman, is talking about coming up next on the USA network today and it's just three Pac twelve football games. That is sick. And I love it. I mean somebody all the way in Europe is saying the names Texas State, Washington State. Watch out for Brad Jackson. Yeah. That that's awesome. And it rolled right into it and then ⁓ I thought the broadcast was great ⁓ from Sam Marcus with the A team. ⁓ and then all the other ones were good as well. Was able to see the A T he was able to Me and Nate Gatter actually in person I both of you did. Yeah. Brad's been a before, obviously, but it was my first time being like Saul Ryan saw Ryan Leaf in the press box. I mean he I knew he was tall, but man. When he's the tallest guy there, even Nate. We were talking about too. I didn't realize how tall Nate was. Like, dude, not only you go to your job, you're the tallest dude that's not Nate Ryan Lee. You know, now that I think about it, seeing the picture or no, seeing the shot of Nate and Ryan in The booth together before the game started. They're about the same height. So yeah, that makes sense. And Nate's probably pretty tall. I haven't met him yet. I was gone. It shocks me. Like every time I see him, I'm like, ⁓ my God, you're taller than I remember. And I was and we're gonna he's gonna be here. We can say he's gonna be here in person on Thursday. So yeah. I will say since we're now having Supreme Talk like that, I'm challenging UFCU Stadium to make better press boxes because they have my guy Brett Sweating, Brant Freeman Swain, they Ryan Leaf and Nate Gatter sweat when the sun is hitting them right there. We gotta do something. But thank you to the USA of network 'cause I do want to touch on that 'cause that's a great thing to like really represent when you have a brand new conference, especially. You have a bunch of new teams that a lot of people just don't know. Like you said, someone from Fort Collins doesn't know anything about San Marcus. And then we're from San Marcus. I don't know anything about Corvallis. So show it like real they went out of Gate recently 'cause this new th stuff of that city showcasing it like highlighting that is like really important. In a broadcast, I think. And I was five hours away and I was watching the game on the couch, you know, like second quarter when I got home and I I felt like I was in St. Marcus, so that was really cool. It is. I I love that it kinda like it it encapsulates all like the cool things about the city and really just makes you feel at home. Yeah, but shout out to USA Network. I think they've been doing a phenomenal job and I'm excited to keep watching their stuff. I will say throw the CW a gold nugget though. They did have like almost five hundred thousand views for the Tech State U TSA game and then the Boise State game wasn't far under it. So they're also getting viewership and these games are on national T V. So they're being shown in bars and restaurants in other states that have nothing to do with the Pac twelve because national television networks. That's all I got. It was really cool to see the USA like sports banners like in the suit section too. I thought that was really cool. And last thing I want to touch on before we go over football talk exclusively. At the moment, I don't know if it still stands, but Utah State and Texas State Soccer both ranked. Utah State ranked for the first time I think in program history, so that's huge for them. Congratulations to the Aggies. But what's really cool is that the Utah State Aggies and the Texas A Bobcats currently share the number eighteen spot in the culture's poll. That I guess you could share spots in soccer is the thing they do. And those teams will be seeing each other on October first, 'cause we have an international break. So October first, first conference game for either team. And they're both nationally ranked at the moment. I mean you can't ask for a better storyline. That's so awesome. Doesn't get any better than that. I think women's soccer ⁓ is on the rise and it's doing a good thing for the conference. I mean, these these teams are playing pretty good right now and when you got people ranked, it it just raises the national profile of these teams, these programs and this conference. So touching on that, 'cause we haven't shown soccer love it a little bit, but that's just cause When conference play starts, though. Conference play is That will get that will get pretty good. In national break though, so we get to take a pause. But now we're gonna head into the main event as you are here for week three. Recap. So we're just gonna dive right in. First game on the slate, eleven AM kickoff. Texas State taking on North Texas. This is a game that Texas State was favored in even though it started the season O and two and UNT came off a very impressive forty four to six win against UNL V. But the Bobcats pick up win number one, taking them down forty nine thirty five. And it's a game where the Texas off Texas State offense showed why they had hype around this team. I mean, Brad Jackson did his thing. Of course, he had that bounce back game against UTSA, but the highlight was easily the running game. I mean, that two headed monster. Torrance Burgess and Davian Jackson. Jackson being a redshirt freshman, I believe. Yep. I mean, over three hundred yards total offense from the both of them and four touchdowns. I mean, I mean, Texas State, we were having them talks of going them going 0 3. before I mean one and three before conference play. Now it's one and two. They got a UIW next week. Spobcats are feeling pretty good. Let's go ahead and just from wherever you're listening from, just give us one big boo for Brett Beerman. Boom He Boo. He did not pick his own school this week. He picked North Texas to win. He said there was questions about the running back room after what Burgess did against UTSA and those questions have been answered. I believe so. ⁓ God, you question the running back room, then you went and questioned Texas State's ability to win A game that the a team they've already beat for like what? They've only played like three times. Shame on you, Brett. Shame. It was a good game. Yeah, you're right. And no, I I I'll take it. It was a great game. I'm wrong. But I saw a lot of people saying that that was one of their favorite games they watched all weekend. Yeah. And they were people that had nothing to do with Texas State. It was a barn burner of a mid major football game. No defense at all. That's what then that's what I love. I don't I don't care about defense. So Far like my overall enjoyment, this was an A plus game to watch. So yeah, I and I do I'll take that, I'll take the heat. ⁓ listen hindsight, it's twenty twenty. I get it. But like I want to join in on the love with you guys because I was I was there, I was in the the radio booth, so it's you know, it it's only apropos that I take my lashings, but I also, you know, get to kind of credit my school here a little bit. So I just want to say that first thing I doubted, like ⁓ the the biggest thing that we've all doubted is this defense, right? Still didn't do great. Secondary has a lot of work to do. To only allow one touchdown in the second half, like that's phenomenal. Like already a massive step from what we've seen in the past. I i because usually going into the second half, even with like a two score lead, it's like, well, hold your breath, you know, we don't know what's gonna happen, you know. And there was just no doubt. And I forgot the quarterback's name, I'm sorry. Tavan Jackson. Taven Jackson. Almost throwing for five hundred yards. Dude, he threw for the most of everyone in FBS this weekend. Of course it it was a record for him and it was you know, just amazing what he did. And it was against Texas State's defense, of course. And Kenny and Kenny even said like that's a guy who will see NFL snaps one day. So that's him that's high praise. Kenny actually recruited him when he was at UCF. Really? Yeah. I know that's really cool. I didn't realize how old he was. Someone told me he's like about twenty four, twenty five. So I mean we see Tyler Shuck. He's a fifth year so yeah. But we saw them kind of kind of some adjust the big reason for the the change was the adjustment in the defense. ⁓ I think it I think we talked about it. So they were playing man all first half. And I like that at least. Yeah. Compared to what well they got burned in the first half. Yeah. It was a nice change of pace. And they and they were Coach Kenny said it was because they were playing around Jaheem White, ⁓ the Tech North Texas running back. ⁓ obviously they had to adjust in the second half 'cause Jaheem White wasn't really a factor. Wasn't a factor yet, but that passing game obviously was so but like I said, ⁓ ad adjustments when they need to be made is a big problem. And my questions about the running back room are now null and void. Like it's it's gone. This team can play. They can Again, let's see how they do against conference play. I feel a little better about it now though. Let's just say that ⁓ they found their two headed monster. They've got their power back in Davien Jackson and then Torrance Burgess Jr. He's like dude's Vaughn at K State a few years ago is what he looks like. But ⁓ Jaheem White will if you didn't see it, he got asked before the game last week in a press conference how he thought he'd fare against the Texas State run defense, and he just laughed and said no comment and smiled. Sixteen attempts for thirty four yards. That was hilarious. Him getting just absolutely cooked on Twitter. But Brad Jackson bounced back. I mean, those two balls that were touchdowns, ⁓ Chris Dawn in the first quarter of the first two drives, the he he looked really good. I mean, both sparks technically played. He almost connected with them on a deep shot. Didn't really need both sparks, which is good. He didn't really get as many snaps. Same with the sample, too. So I think they're both gonna get more healthy and and that's a good thing. But for the Bobcats, ⁓ just keep rolling. And this is the offense that When we were talking about ⁓ i in July, that they were the best in the Pac twelve and they showed us why they were and why they can be. ⁓ but it's gonna be really hard, you know, to score forty points every game. You you can't count on them to do that. That defense is still a problem. It'll lose them a lot of games. Braden Atkinson calling it right now, five hundred yards against Texas State whenever they play. I mean, if Tamin Jackson had about five hundred yards, I Braden Hackinson could easily go for that. He's he's a stud. But yeah, based on what y'all said, ⁓ actually was in the press conference in I asked ⁓ Torrance Burgess because he's really patient with the way he runs. I said, Who do you moderate game after? He said, Darren, Sproles, and Deuce Vaughn. I knew it. You can tell. You can just tell. You can tell. And then, well, Kitty has some interesting points as well. he talked mostly about what y'all said. I I mean, the defense was pretty bad. The second half does have me feeling good about him. They they were able to get some turnovers. Yeah, I'll shout out Jaden Bradley. He he's a red shirt freshman. He's One of the best guys on the defense and the green dot is no on is on a safety right now, I believe Ryan Nolan. Yeah. It's gotta go to a a middle linebacker or something. Tay Woody. Sorry, Tay Woody on the D line also played really well as well. His name was mentioned quite a few times throughout the broadcast. So just want to mention him as well. But I just think this is a great win for Texas State 'cause a lot of people had them going 0 3. This North Texas team is a good team. And Jaheem White getting bottled up. Does I mean I think this run defense I'm pretty sound on. I mean, they held UTSA. That's a running school pretty low. Jaheem White pretty low. It's just the passing. It's just re that's where they really gotta strap down. There's some teams that can sling it, so yeah. They'll have their work cut out. Exactly. But that'll do it there. Texas State gets their first win of the season. They head to UIW. That should be a tune up. I mean UIW, they I feel like they play them almost every other year, if not every year in the Kinney era. But I mean you just can't take any opponent line when you have a defense that could give up anyone can have a good game on them. What would be like a number for you guys ⁓ that incarnate word would have to score where you're look okay, this defense is gonna be our Achilles heel? I'd say at least twenty one. That's what I was thinking as well. If you score more than twenty. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I agree with One good defense all it takes. ⁓ Boise State defense will give you hell. Yeah. All right. Next game on the slate. Colorado State taking on BYU. This is a lot of our upset picks here, including mine, I believe. But they weren't the Rams weren't able to get it done against the Cougars. They fall forty nine to twenty three and just a rough game. I mean, BYU is a good team. I underestimated them. I thought CSU could give ⁓ trebles, but that offense is just a little bit too much and Haas Haney just didn't have a game he usually does. They scored twenty three, but a lot of that came towards the latter half of the game. Somebody fill me in. Did he not play the whole game? No, he got hurt in the second quarter. He got hurt. Yeah. So what do we think about He's gonna play. He's gonna play. Okay. I yeah, I I had something on that. Yeah, but ⁓ Go ahead. No, I was just gonna say I listened to Jim Morris presser, ⁓ and he was saying, ⁓ 'cause they the one of the guys asked like one of the reporters, sorry, ⁓ did you pull him out for precautionary reasons? And he's I'm not pulling anyone out for anything precautionary. Like I wanna win. So if I'm pulling him out, he's hurt. But it sounds like he's gonna play. Like it take that with what you will. Obviously we'll we'll read more as it goes on. It's Sunday right now as we're recording. Yeah. So throughout the week. And obviously recording on a Sunday means somebody gets hurt that we don't find out about later. We'll get to that later. But anyways, ⁓ I wanted to throw a stat out there the before the broadcast I thought was super interesting. Colorado State only team heading into week three with four players with two or more touchdowns. Hmm. So I love the I love like the ball distribution kinda kind of stat line there. But yeah, and Jim Morris said that BYU doesn't really have any holes in pause. But No, no, that's a great team. I mean I believe they're I forgot I saw the AP poll today. Don't know where they're ranked right now, but they were at least top in the top. They're eleven now again. Eleven. Yeah, I was gonna say inside the top twelve. And they're currently leading the big twelve. I think tech fell, if I'm not mistaken. Yeah, tech did fall 'cause it was only thirteen anyway, so yeah, but they're like right there. ⁓ but last thing I want to say too is Hawney reminds me of a kind of reminds me of ⁓ Baker Mayfield a little bit. Yeah. He he's a really good quarterback. He earned that job. you already said it, Jim Morris said it. They they've just got to work on the run defense. LJ Martin had 176 yards on 15 touches, three touchdowns. That's good for almost twelve a carry. ⁓ Bear Brockmeyer was very efficient. He only had four incompletions. ⁓ 227 yards. He did throw a pick. yeah, Colorado State just nothing crazy in the past game. It also sucks when you've got three quarterbacks out there and you know, Haney gets hurt. ⁓ but I thought for the fact that they were still able to score twenty three points. That's pretty impressive. I personally pick BYU and I'm the only one to get that one right. Also I went eight and ⁓ by the way, so sh I'm the first one to go eight and no. Just FYI. ⁓ but also shout out TFC C S U for being our guest picker this past week and ⁓ being able to, you know, share that with him. I know he went to the game. He was tweeting some hilarious stuff. ⁓ very funny. He's very funny. ⁓ Yeah, he was hilarious on X this weekend, especially yesterday while he was at the game. ⁓ and you know, for the third week in a row, I'm a shout out to my guy, Cedric Ross, love it, Castacado product. It's a true freshman, four catches for eighty five yards, led the receiving core for Colorado State and he's gonna get a little better every week. I think he's earning his touches 'cause he's had so many explosive plays. I think he's earning to get worked in more. ⁓ he's a running back though, and he had four for eighty five, he had a long of fifty, so ⁓ yeah, they've got some explosive backs though. I I think Colorado State's rushing attack kinda reminds me of Texas States. ⁓ they can really gash you in the run game if their guys get going. They ⁓ unfortunately didn't this weekend, but ⁓ it the season's not over for Colorado State. If you had told a Ram fan that they'd be two and one through three weeks, they they'd be pretty stoked. Yeah, absolutely. Like we said, we always talk about the Vegas odds we did in that first preview. I mean, they had ⁓ winning three games. So like you say, two one. They're gonna hit that easy. Bang. Like you said. And it sucks, especially but I think the major takeaway I come away from this game is that the you gotta prepare for this ⁓ running a game. This ran this running defense is really bad. I get it's BYU. Yeah. Still allowing three hundred yards or three hundred yards who it is. You had Martin one LJ Martin have one hundred eighty five three touchdowns. I that's just a bad day at the office. And a lot of these teams do like to run the ball. It's just how they are. We see Texas State ⁓ San Diego State, they now have like a two headed back. Lucky Sun had a bad day. We'll get to that later. But a lot of these teams are gonna want to run the ball. Boise State especially too. You can't have a bad run defense in this conference. No, it's i it's because it's very unforgiving, and now that we're seeing how how deep it is, it's ⁓ it's gotta be something you gotta patch up before conference play starts. But Jim Moore era officially with its first loss, but it's against a really good opponent. Yeah. ⁓ all right, next week for them. How about about them going to the Almo Dome U T S A? That's looking if Haas Haney plays, that's gonna be a really good game. Yeah, Caden and I might be in the building, so we'll see. We gotta be at the stadium in San Marcus by three, but that's an eleven AM kick. Yeah, I think I think if we I think we could watch the first half. I agree. ⁓ that's what I was thinking as well. Yeah, because you be San Antonio traffic. Yeah. That's yeah, that's something we gotta worry about. Forget about that. I I think I think you get there at eleven, you probably watch the first half by one, leave by one. You got two hours to get back. I think we could do it. You could do that. But I mean, I just think that's a really good matchup to be honest. That's another good American Pac twelve matchup and U TSA's favored by thirteen and a half. That's not that surprising, I guess. I'm kind of shocked. I thought Colorado State would have a little bit more love. I think they're better than what Vegas thinks. I do think I think so too. Yeah, and I think I think Vegas also really and I think UTSA's a good team, but I think they over love them. Like I think Jeff Traylor just ought like no matter where he goes, he just gets like the love. And I I just they did not put up the worst performance against UT this weekend. Yeah. I just think Mewtwo's more bad than they were good. Yeah. ⁓ yeah. ⁓ also if we're not clear on last ⁓ last game for Texas State, they're playing Incarnate Ward. We're all picking Texas State. Yeah, right. I I figured that went without saying. I just wanted to make sure that that was clear for anybody listening. I'm back. I'm back. I'm sorry. Texas State is one and no when Brad picks against. Okay, guys. You watch that UTSA I I guess you guys did pick Texas. Never mind. I'm sorry. Come on, man. ⁓ All right. Well, Colorado State UTSA. Who who are y'all going with? Give me the Rams. I got Colorado State, I think. I think, yeah, regardless, Hawkey know. If Hof Heine doesn't play though. Ooh. I think I think I'm gonna ride with the Rams. I think the the coaching of Jim Moore is just too good. Regardless, yeah. I'm going with the Rams too. That's technically counts as our upset, but there's some lines that'll surprise you when we get to it. That's a pretty surprising line in the factory. I think they should be favorable. Thirteen is kind of crazy. Wait, thir thirteen? Thirteen and thirteen and a half. That's too high. That that's it should be like four or five and a half. Three and a half. All I'm paying is free money. Yeah. That's what I'm hearing. We're gonna be we're gonna get really exposed if this goes bad. I th I do think regardless they can cover that spread. They can. But a really big factor. It's either gonna be like a shootout or Barn burner. Yeah. I do I do like Colorado State though. I think they go to three and one after this week. Bang heading into conference play. All right. We're gonna move on to another team that got their first win this weekend. Wazoo taking on Duquesne. Beat him down forty eight to seven. First win for the Kirby Moore era. Caden Pennick redemption game. Washington State. The tune up, but it's a much needed tune up and it's a game that gives you guys confidence. Yep, and they have figured out the running game. I don't care if they were playing Duquesne. They got two hundred yard rushers and Maxwell Woods and Kirby Voorhees and ⁓ twenty attempts combined between those two guys. They both averaged more than ten a c touch on the ground. ⁓ I I know who they were playing, but I think it's more of they need to see the run game work f for it to be able to actually work when they get to a tougher competition. So I think it's a good confidence booster. ⁓ Caden Pennick throwing a pick is not cool. I don't can't have that. ⁓ you know he he's turned the ball over quite a bit honestly. ⁓ but he was not sacked. That's he was the third or fourth most sacked quarterback in FBS going into this weekend. Kirby Moore talked about how they switched up their O line this week too. So I think that had a lot to do with that's what I to hear. Fresh year coaches that are just willing to just put anything on their line. fix something if it needs to be fixed. Yeah, and not and not just like, ⁓ well let's just let them let's just let them figure it out. No, we gotta get this going now. ⁓ we gotta get it going against Duquesne. You can afford to move your O line. That's why like this game I think is really important. You need games like this no matter who you are. Because if you do have these struggles as a big school or little school, like you said, even though the rushing attack may not be that good and it it's just Duquesne, it's good to have a week where Caden Pennick didn't have to do everything. Right. Yeah and I like the fact that I mean, I know Kirby Moore didn't schedule things this way, but that the tune up game didn't come week one because you don't really have an idea for what your team is and like what adjustments you can afford to make in a game like this. But they played two tough opponents in Washington and Air or Kansas State that they were allowed to, you know, get a feel for what they needed to adjust and had, you know, wiggle room to try out this weekend. I mean only five incompletions for Pennick though, so he was very efficient. ⁓ but yeah, he he ran the ball very well as well. ⁓ He had a rushing touchdown on on a QB keyboard on a read option and it was pretty electric. It did look good. I want to shout out ⁓ the special teams too for Washington State. Two punt return touchdowns. in college football, special teams mistakes are are pretty common, like as common as we take breaths, right? Like ⁓ when you can when you can tighten up special teams, like that is just one little thing that you do not have to worry about, and I think something that can decide games down the line. Like is especially if they're if they're scoring touchdowns for you and not only that, like not causing turnovers or may or maybe causing turnovers on the other end, it's just it's very important. And I don't think it's a aspect people really understand how important it is. I just think that most like you say, especially in college, most special team units are just so bad that people are used to it and they probably think it's a norb that when you actually have a program that knows the benefits of just having even a solid, just an okay special team to in college is a blessing. Yeah. Just having a kicker that can constantly make kicks or just having a specialty used that does it a like give a boat headed plays. Jalen Jenkins dropped a a kick return this week and it not to bring it back to Texas State, but it's one of those things where like you you just watch him drop it and it it's something that should they should at least be at the twenty seven, twenty eight yard line and they their drop back all the way to the ten and it's it just sets things back and you just don't realize like Throughout the game and especially as close as it was, you know, throughout the whole game, like how important that is. You know, you don't want to turn the ball over. It's just yeah, stuff like that. Alrighty. Who is watched this state play next week? Arizona comes to Pullman and the Wildcats are favored by twelve and a half. See that's a fairly I'll take that. That's fairly decent like spread live. I think Arizona's pretty good. Yeah, I I was just gonna say I think I'll take Arizona. I love the k I feel like I take a Dwazoo every week. Yeah. I'll be following to take ⁓ their opponents. Yeah. ⁓ watch this be the game. I I think I'll take Arizona. I think I'll take Arizona as well. But I think Washington State's at a point now where they should be more competitive in this game versus the Kansas State game. ⁓ they they've got three games of football under their feet. And they they got a feel for the run game. That is probably the thing I'm gonna be looking for though. When you play a really good opponent, how does a run game look now that those guys have got going? So hopefully ⁓ you know, it's a little better. And you know, they could be one and three going into pack twelve play, two and two at best if they pull this off. But I don't think that's a bad spot for them. 'Cause like we said, I mean, it non conference play matters, yeah, for college football playoff implications, but Talking about a Pac 12 championship, you could go in 0 and 4, like Utah State's probably going to, and they could technically still win it if you just win out. Right? I mean, we've seen crazy things happen. Not saying it's going to, but ⁓ the season's definitely not over. They they've still got a lot of room left to work. But yeah, I think they'll be one and three and drop this one to Arizona. Washington State, we all pick in Arizona next week, but good little win for them. And we talked about them briefly. Now we're just gonna dive right into their game. Utah State. Took on Utah, the Utes dominated, shut them out, thirty-three to zero. I mean, we expecting nothing different. But it's kind of shameful to not even have a post game presser posted. But I mean, I don't know, man. This what what more can we say about this team? It's just it doesn't look any better any every week. And granted, I guess it's Utah, so you at least have an excuse this time, but ⁓ not even a single point. It's like, dude, the lows are low right here at Logan, bruh. I just I just don't see where it's gonna get better for ⁓ Like I understand like the competition has been like maybe not the best. They lost to an FCS team. Well that w Yeah, you're right. But I I'm just looking at now where they're playing the seventeenth ranked team in the country, right? They did lose to an FCS team that they should have very easily beat. So Yeah, I have nothing to say. I was looking for like like I said, I was you you mentioned it, I was looking for the postgame presser. This is the only team, by the way, that I could not find one for. And I don't know if they just didn't have one. They just didn't want to post it. ⁓ I think regardless, no matter what the score is, you have to post that. Yeah. Like 'cause I don't know. I don't have anything else to say. They suck. That's really all I got. Yeah. Yeah, it's kinda hard. And I'm trying to find a Utah State picker for the next couple weeks. So maybe I should. There's a guy with the Utah State podcast that's out there. ⁓ man, I know they're probably the funniest people on earth right now. ⁓ man. What are they even talking about? Not not anything positive. ⁓ every other Utah team probably. But yeah, they lost lost a battle of the brothers against Utah. ⁓ Devin Dampier looked like he's kind of supposed to be looking, I guess you could say. Yeah, pretty efficient game, only through thirty ish times. But yeah, Utah State had less than a hundred yards of combined offense. So ⁓ I don't really wanna like hate on them too much, but they stink and so does Grady Brosterhouse through another interception. ⁓ I'm trying to see a leaderboard for interceptions 'cause I think he's near the top. He has to be. Probably. I wouldn't be surprised. I mean, this is nothing really inspiring about this team. Don't dog at him too much. But I mean the fact that you I guess I don't know what the spread was, but the fact Utah only scored thirty three you might have actually covered. good teams win, great teams cover boys. But ⁓ I don't know, man. It's just It's rough, dude. And like y'all said, I don't know where it gets any easier. Maybe their next opponent they play Troy. Can they beat them? Probably not. Should they? I'm not picking them. I'm not picking them against Troy either. Troy had a great back to the Sun Belt. Troy had a great game. Who they they barely lost. Grady Brosserhouse is tied for first with five interceptions to lead FBS, by the way. Who did Troy play? Hold on. Mizoo. They played Mizzou. They were they were leading at one point. And then they they blew it. But They had an SEC team down, so I they're probably gonna beat the brakes off Utah State. So I'm gonna go ahead and speed it up and be like, ⁓ Troy. Yeah, I'm also gonna go with Troy. Even though they are not favored, it's minus two and a half in favor of Utah State. Are we serious? I think this is that is free. Yo, if you are a gambler, put it all on that. good. Hammer Troy. I don't know. I think Utah State could really win. I'm just not gonna pick him because I have obviously have no reason to have faith in him. But I think if there's a game they're gonna win this year, it's this one. I was I was asked you said you think they could win Yeah, Troy's two and one. They're pretty good and they're they're always consistent. Who would they beat? They beat Sam Houston State by three. They beat ⁓ all was it all. That's a CUSA team, so that's our Alabama State. That's not a D one team. But like I said, they ha they were leading Mizzou. But like let's be so for real though. If Utah State wins a game this year, it's this week. That's true. It should be because they I don't see them winning a Pac twelve game right now. I really don't. Yeah, I I agree that it has to be this one, but it's not gonna be. If this is your best shot they're giving me no hope. If this is your best shot, it's over. When week seven rolls around and they have that bye, they can not lose that week. So congrats to them for at least knowing there's one week this season that they're not gonna be losers. Do they they Doesn't mean they'll be winners, but they won't play a game, so they can't lose. This is true. But the bye week always wins. That's enough Utah State talk. Don't wanna like upset any Utah State fan because we're Nah, I hope they get it going. I really do. Hope trying to collab. We will try and connect that. But we're gonna talk about a team who won this week, but you know, not the best day at the office considering who they are. Boise State took on South Dakota, won by multiple scores, but it was thirty eight, twenty four. Spencer Danielson was not happy, rightfully slow. This Boise State defense held Oregon to around the same numbers, but except this time it's South Dakota. Not a good look. Yep. It seemed like just like a lax lack of execution and I think I really think this happens in college football a lot when you're a really good team, when you deserve to be ranked, when you when you have like tougher opponents on the schedule coming up and this is kinda supposed to be a tune up game for you, you kind of underestimate like your opponent. And unfortunately South Dakota really isn't a team that you have to or that you should underestimate. ⁓ and I just wanna say the only thing I have really about this, ⁓ is that San So South Dakota's quarterback He's gonna be a demon in the portal. He ⁓ let me let me pull up his stomach. Two hundred and forty three yards, twelve for twenty seven, three tuts and two picks. He's a he's a freshman, true freshman. Nine hundred and seventy yards, fourteen touchdowns, three interceptions so far this year. So two of those on ⁓ his whole year came from the Boise State game. And I know we're supposed to be talking about Boise State, I'm sorry, but I just had to I had to mention him. I mean, it's good. We appreciate good football. It's provide it's good to provide insight 'cause a Boise fan who might have not caught this game. They're like, why did they give up twenty four to South Dakota? Yeah. And and I mean, obviously, can what we consistently talk about is them leading on this running game. Dylan Riley almost two hundred yards again, two touchdowns. Sire Gaines hit over a hundred, so Maddox Madsen getting in the mix too. I mean, he can he can sling it. So I think it's not shocking, but they should have blown these guys out. Dylan Riley, Sire Gaines, and Rashon. Jones got like that trio right there is just so elite. That is they're so tough, man. I love I love that three at those coast positions so much. They like rival Burgess, yeah. Jackson. Like so Yeah, you're kinda yeah, you're right, they do. ⁓ all I was gonna say about this is just a running game from Riley and Gaines. They they did a really good job. ⁓ was it just ⁓ exactly ⁓ three hundred combined between those two guys. ⁓ out of the three twenty five as a team. So yeah, I mean Boise took care of business though. I think ⁓ this was one thing I was gonna say. I remember Nate telling us when we interviewed him the first time, ⁓ that Boise had just kind of that thing about him, that swag about ⁓ or like that moxie. ⁓ that they they are better than everyone. And I think you know, it's good to have that, but you gotta be careful and it can't bite you in the butt when you think you're so good, then y you play a South Dakota and you know, y you get a little bit too big headed or egos too inflated. I think that might have been what happened, but you also always have off days, you know. It it takes a while to just get going sometimes and regardless. They took care of business and they're still three and ⁓ so ⁓ two and one, sorry. It really does feel like they won that Oregon game. Yeah, it kinda does. The tough game coming up this weekend. Yeah, they take on western Michigan. Brett would know his Wolverine's needed extra second to take down this team, but Boise State will head I believe they head over. Yeah, they're gonna be there. Western Michigan, yeah. So That one could be a shocking game. That's one where you can't fall asleep with the wheel. You gotta prepare carefully 'cause the Mac is coming. Well, that's another team too who's the Mac is coming. That's another team though too who, you know, is receiving votes to get in the top twenty five. So they're a legit threat as well. An ass? I'm I'm so serious. After that Michigan game, they like put eyes on them and like they realize they're actually not a bad football team. Yeah, and they I mean they won the Mac last year too. They were incredibly dominant and they and again it just carries over to this year as well. I won't talk any more about it. Shout out Calico Zoo. It's a really good yeah, it's a really good program. Boise State's gonna gonna have trouble with them next week. I think Boise's still gonna win. ⁓ this will not be my upset pick, but watch out for the Broncos. Line seven and a half in favor of Boise. That is a lot closer than I thought. This should be a really good Bronco on Bronco matchup. Yeah, no, I agree with you. I didn't know the line was that close. I'm gonna pick Boise just 'cause I have the benefit of the doubt, but man if there was a game two picking upset, it probably would be this one, to be honest. But I'm gonna rock with the Broncos in blue. And so that'll do it for the unless you got something else, but never mind. All right. Well here we have another upset in the slate. San Diego State took on JMU and they took ⁓ actually they fell to the Dukes twenty six of thirteen, double the score on them. ⁓ lucky son for the Axe Tex. But the running game did not disappear and they debuted those new sexy ⁓ Jaguar uniforms. Those were really cool. The logo You're blowing sexy? On those? I like them. I like them. I like the contrast. I like something different. I like the contrast of the helmet to the jersey. The red was cool. And I it's San Diego State just doesn't have alternates. Like they really just have the helmet away. They're just so good that you don't notice that. So it was pretty cool. I d the logo I wasn't a fan of until I saw it on the helmet. It really made it pop there. But They couldn't get the job done against JMU, Sunbelt Billy. Pulls off the upset and but I mean still kind of highs for the San Diego State. You do realize you got another guy you can run the rock that's not in a lucky Sutton. That's true. Kennard, Javion Kennard, have a day. And they also I thought the defense was still was still okay. ⁓ obviously this offense is gonna struggle all year. We're just kind of figuring that out. Like they don't really have a quarterback. It's Jane Denigal, I don't know at this point if he's really their guy, but I they're gonna keep rolling with him obviously and I don't know, man. ⁓ I'm not as high on the Aztecs as I once was. That's kinda I was at one point thinking that they were really gonna win it. Like I had some real faith that they could go win the conference. I think so too. I just don't think this the I just don't think the offense just despised the running not desp despite the running game, sorry, is just it's just not good enough at all. Like and you just can't lean on two guys every single f freaking game. Shout out to me for picking JMU just 'cause I know ball. I picked JMU too, Dan. Yeah. Come on now. Come on, man. Come on. Sorry to Aztec Republic, our guest speaker, ⁓ guest picker a couple weeks ago. ⁓ he is also peak as well. He was also slandering my name in our DMs about me picking JMU and I was right. That's true. I'm sorry I had to be right because I I was fine with being wrong. Well it's funny that he only dogged on you. Yeah like you didn't pick JMU It's crazy. He was like, yeah Caden's going ⁓ seven and one. No, actually six and two. I'm like, man, what about Seoul? Sol also picked against San Diego State, but okay. You're spotted by going A no. And I just went A no. first one to go eight ⁓ this year. Come on. Fairs Dave. That's true, man. Who knows ball? This guy. But ⁓ yeah, they they've got to get something figured out. ⁓ the run game is gonna be there, especially when they get Lucky Sutton back. ⁓ seeing Kennard do that is pretty nice to see, but it also they played a Sunbelt team. No, just they didn't make the playoff last year, but it is also a completely different team. I'm gonna say Jamie's a good JMU's good at everything. They really are. ⁓ yeah Jaden Dinnigal is not the guy. He's got four picks on the year. Two came in this game on Saturday against the Dukes, but yeah, I'm not that high on them until they can prove it. And I'm they just haven't. They just haven't proved to be a complete team. That's what I'm going for. And they don't have a much easier task ahead of them. They also be taking part in the max shin. They take on Toledo. Toledo's two and one. And it's Toledo's favored by two and a half. Yeah. I d that was one of the odds I was thinking y'all'd probably be surprised about. So I am. This would technically I guess be an upset then. Yeah, if you're taking the Aztecs. I mean if you're Yeah, I don't know if I can. They're at the glass bowl, man. I think I have to go Toledo here. Dang, you're you are on a Pac twelve podcast and you're foregoing that commitment for your Mac did you watch this offense this weekend? No, I'm just hating on you for fun. I but listen, it benefited you last week. So like again, if San Diego State wins, it's it's gonna blow my face, I guess. But I do I have an upset yet? Hold on real. Yes, everybody beating Colorado State. Okay, that's all then yeah, yeah, yeah. So I'll I'll still take Toledo then. Yeah, I mean if I got my upset secure too, I just I'm not I'm left uninspired by this team. The cranny could his defense show and they could shut down Toledo maybe. I don't know. I don't know if the offense has enough firepower to even take advantage of that. If it if they do win, this game's probably gonna end like thirteen to ten. Yeah, it's gonna be the ugliest game you've ever watched. Give me the Aztecs. Hell yeah. I'm going with the Aztecs too. I'm not I'm also a fan of the Pac 12, so I gotta root for these schools to actually go win these non-conference games against teams that they should beat, and this is one of those games. I love this bit of that I just hate the Pac 12. That's a great bit. I'm gonna actually be dying when the bit graphic goes out on like Tuesday or Wednesday and Aztec Republic DMs us and like, yo, what Brett, what's the He's gonna like call you a name, he's gonna call you a slur. After after I after I defended him this week too against you, Caden, I I was I was on his side and I don't know why. I low key just flipped a coin in my head. I was just like, you know, if it's thirteen to ten, I can see the NAS Techs making it an ugly, really ugly game. Can't wait to talk about that game next week. That should be a good one. I think they should win it and they do. That's low key our Super Bowl. All righty. Next game up, ⁓ Oregon State took on Montana. Oregon State first winning the Jamarcus Shepherd era. They blow him out fifty two to seventeen. Brayden Atkinson, what a quarterback. And he's leading a tremendous offense that we were just had no idea was gonna show at all when we previewed them. I mean, we I don't think I've ever been more wrong about a team and I've never been more shocked at a team that's one and two. I mean, this team is electric. Hey, you know, I previewed these guys and I said that they'd probably win around three games just based on not getting to see a Jamarcus Shepherd, Oregon State team play. So and Malik Murphy. I will try to back myself up there and say that I think I was fair to think that, you know, they were probably gonna go three and nine because they hadn't shown us anything. ⁓ but now that they played, I I'm totally wrong. Like I really am. ⁓ but I think bowl eligibility is still like, you know, ⁓ a realistic goal for them because I think they do run into some hiccups later in the season when they play some of these better teams. ⁓ but you know what? ⁓ they looked really good. Bray Natchison is making a case for being ⁓ you know, a top quarterback in the packs. Well between him, Madsen, Brad Jackson, Haas, Haney, ⁓ and Caden Pennick, I think those are some really good quarterbacks and Bray Natchison is he he's right there with Madsen and Jackson right now. ⁓ he looks really good. He can sling it. Like I said, he'll probably throw for five hundred against Texas State. ⁓ but yeah, they're taking care of business. It's hard not to love Jamarcus Shepard if you see anything. social media wise just about him. I mean ⁓ the the people in Corvallis love him. the fans love him. The the players love him. He he does a really good job and Oregon State's like that. They really are. They are man. And they still got their freshman Jessica. He still had it's a quiet day at the office, a hundred yards. That's how crazy Only four catches though. He's just a volume catch. But nine players got a reception. Bang. Awesome. It really spread the rock around and like you said, this team I really think during conference play, I think this team is gonna be the one to shine the most. Just 'cause like they're a team that no one was high on coming into the season. They're off they have the offense to compete with anybody. Their defense it's stout enough to where you don't have to worry about giving up twenty plus points to like a D two FCS team like they did right now in Montana. And that's a recipe for you prepare for maybe a game that you need to win against an Oregon State that you're maybe favored in. And that's a team that just shocks you and surprises you and just blows you out the water. Or it could be a shootout. I think when they go against a team like maybe Boise, you're like a San Diego State or a Fresno State even, that's just gonna be fireworks. And when they go against Colorado State, man, Haas Hain even's brain Atkinson that's gonna be we will be seated. That must be must see TV. I'm thinking Patrick Mahomes, Baker Mayfield back in the day. That's like whatever vibes I get, whatever that match is. Whatever the over is, man, just it's still gonna hammer it. Still gonna hammer. But Oregon State, they're just so fun to watch. It's such a turnaround from a team that was the team that was last year. Yeah, I agree. It it's it's fun seeing like a fresh face come in and complete the turnaround the program. I think as of right now and we'll get to it later, ⁓ we're we're gonna do rankings. I think they are the second best team in the in the Pac twelve and I super fair. And I really think that like those first two games were not good indications of like how good they are. Obviously it was against Big twelve opponents, the two best teams in the two ranked well be white. Yeah, you're right. But anyway, regardless, it's I I think that this is the closest team to Boise that that we're gonna get. 'Cause d defensively they're obviously pretty good. We know their offense can match with anybody. I I would love to see this matchup in in the Pac twelve championship and I would definitely sprinkle a little money on Oregon State if I could. Yeah. I'm really high on ⁓ I think they're taking care of business in the right way and the fact that, you know, they did lose their first two games, I don't care because ⁓ they could have very much won ⁓ And it's really hard for a brand new team and program, basically with a new coach to go beat two really good ranked Big Twelve teams. ⁓ and they they weren't far from doing it and they've caught some national attention. I know Reese Davis was on the Pat McAfee show talking Jesse Legree last week, ⁓ and how great he's been. So yeah. Oregon State is doing their thing despite being one and two. If they do make the if they win the pack show, I might have to get like a Jesse Legree jersey. Or Atkinson. It's gonna I'm I'll if you get the Jesse Legree jersey though, you're gonna have to get it for a different team next year, probably. Yeah, you'd probably be able to get it. I to rush off Atkinson. It still could be Atkinson's. He's a sophomore, yeah. You can say the same for Atkinson. Yeah, you might just wanna wait till the portal closes. Maybe. I'm still gonna get it anywhere. 'Cause I I watched them play at Oregon State, you feel that's true. I to be a rebel big. It's gonna be Rebel Blue next year probably or something. Speaking of Oregon State, we didn't we haven't to we'll we'll say his picks at the end. Our guest picker this week is I'll pull those up. I got it right here. It's it's ⁓ Mr. Beave on Twitter. Mr. Beebe is hilarious. And he his I I will say we we have some good accounts. ⁓ Aztec Republic obviously is he's he's busy, man. He's always posting stuff. Taking graphics. He's like the newsy guy that we've got. Yeah. But now TFC C S U and Mr. Beebe, they're hilarious. That's what they are. Especially Mr. Beebe. ⁓ my goodness, man. Like I had no I I I had the treat of just like going through his Twitter, man. I love this guy, so I'm happy that we have him on guest picking this week. But we'll get to his picks at the end. We'll do the last game first. But shout out Mr. Beeb. I he's having a great time watching his Beeves go stupid. But now we're gonna move on to the last game of the slate. This was a highly anticipated game for us, especially. But Florida's I'm not Florida, whoa. A actual good time. Whoa Fresno Fresno, I'm sorry. Fresno State. Taking on San Jose State, they take down I said the Trojan last week. They're actually the Spartans, I'm pretty sure. I probably said Trojans too, so they have Like Caden said, if they could not beat San Jose State, he that's all he needed to see. They beat San Jose State and they only allow ten points. Just a complete performance. The defense was incredible. I offense still leaves a little to be desired. I get that. Like there's still a lot to work on with that. But this is I think Matt Enns has the gift of the best defense in the Pac twelve in his hands. Four interceptions, five sacks, seven tackles for loss, and two of those interceptions came from Ethan Tierney. He's an awesome he's an awesome ⁓ D B that Fresno has. Like I said, offense, they didn't really get to go until the fourth quarter, but still a really, really good team. And I I think a offense that can turn it up if they need to and will turn it up, but this defense is solid, man. They're so fun to watch. They're just fast, electric. I I I'm really high in Fresno State. I think San Jose State's actually a pretty solid team in the Mountain West and Fresno State gave him a beating. Like that defense just tore them up. I mean, like you said, the four picks and five sacks, that that's a really phenomenal defensive showing. I think that's Fresno State's identity. And if you're playing defense like that, you can afford for Jaden Mandal to throw just over fifty percent, just under two hundred yards, right? He doesn't have to do too much. ⁓ they spread the running game out a lot, gave ball to a handful of different guys. Only had 168 on the ground, but ⁓ I think they they were able to get something going and seeing a win like that that's very quality ⁓ is good for them going forward. Yeah no I agree for sure. This is a game that Florida State definitely Florida. I see like FS and I'm like it's not even the U. Fresno, my bad. My football dogs. Fresno State this is the game they definitely needed I am a little bit concerned about the offense just because they played so much better last week. But I mean San Jose State was probably a better opponent. I can't remember who they played last week. But I know San Jose State was probably ⁓ better opponent. So I mean you can't ask for too much, but you know, like you said, didn't get going to the fourth. So that will be easy to see once conference play comes. When you gotta play, get granted, you're playing you like I'm with you, but I think they have the best defense. Once you play against a defense like Boise or even like Oregon State, that's where the disruption might come. And I don't know if their defense will be able to hold up against offenses like that. But at the moment, it's a good win for them. I like I like how I saw it. I have one last thing, unless you have anything, Caden. If you if you have the time, take take the ten minutes out of your day to watch a a coach end's press conference. Even after a win, this man is so defensive against reporters. It is hilarious like watching him just like I feel like he's like gearing up to like for battle, like just talking to these reporters. I love his intensity. So I Them California beat reporters, man. Yeah, so I will be tuned into every press conference of his. Also I want to say really quick too, talking about all these press conferences, like going over them on YouTube today. Wazoo, phenomenal job on your presentation for these press conferences, 'cause they they throw graphics in, they give you breaks, they do it live. So like you get it immediately after the game. A plus. Like a and and To the schools who don't post press conferences. Texas State, Utah State. ⁓ let's get on it. Texas State does. I did I had to watch it on Cap Cardello's Twitter this morning. I didn't see it on Texas. It's on their YouTube. It is on their maybe I just it's on Texas State Athletics YouTube. I know that because I know the person that shoots it and uploads it. So I can just confirm that it's there. They do have a camera on it. Maybe it may be hard to find. I'm not saying it's not, but but I I was about to say I Thought they definitely did too. All right. Man, dude slandering his school lately, man. They lose against UTSA one time. All of a sudden anti fucking Bobcats, dude. All right. ⁓ before we go off to the rankings, we do want to read off Mr. Beebe's picks for the week since we gotta we gotta pick Fresno State and Rice. And we forgot to pick Oregon State UTEP. Which I think that one might be a given, but you saw what UTEP was doing. UTEP was moving against Oklahoma, John and T. And Michigan, yeah. But I think Oregon State, they better quarters. They got better quarterbacks in those two schools. It's Oregon State. And and then also ⁓ who's the last game? Sorry. It's ⁓ Fresno State and then obviously Fresno, yeah. Yeah. ⁓ yeah, Pac twelve sweep, I assume. Right, Kate? Yeah. ⁓ Well no, we picked Troy to beat Utah State. I know, I'm just talking about those two games. Yeah. Yeah. That is correct. Oregon. I think we've swept all of our picks besides San Diego State and Toledo. Yeah, I don't think so. At least we got ⁓ something different. But I'll read off Mr. Beebe's picks now. Shout out Mr. Beebe. So the first game for Mr. Beaves. On Twitter, let me read his handle real quick. ⁓ Yeah, ⁓ R B E A V V, two Vs in Mr. Beav. ⁓ so he has Boise State over Western Michigan, San Diego State over Toledo, Colorado State over UTSA, Texas State over Incarnate Word, Wazoo over Arizona, Utah State over Troy, and he has Fresno State beating Rice. Whoa, Utah State pick. Didn't expect that. Mr. Beave knows something that we don't. Thank you to Mr. Beebe. And if Mr. Beav, you know, proves us wrong, shout out, bro. He's not only an entertainer but a ball knower at the same time. So now that we got all the picks wrapped up, we're gonna throw it to our special Brett segment. Brett, who are your player of the week? So now it's ⁓ for this week, it's players of the week. We have ⁓ two headed monsters, the the running back room of Texas State, Torrance Burgess Jr. and and ⁓ Diamond Jackson. Davion Jackson is his real name, but Torrance Burgess, two hundred and fourteen yards. He it it it upsets me that when you have that many yards you don't find the end zone. But Davion Jackson picked up the slack, he had four touchdowns, and again, just an overall great performance by his Texas State offense, but you couldn't do it without those two. Absolutely great performances in person as well. And Torrance Burgess does back to back days, but having two hundred plus, I mean have a day, young man. Alrighty, so Brett, you also want to talk about you have your own personal rankings. We could also do our own rankings. Caitlin, right now, I mean, three weeks into the season, I guess that's probably a fifth of the way there. I feel like it's appropriate that we could start doing this now. I feel like we have enough in front of us that we can either overreact or or be on the notes. If we'd done them earlier, it would just been rage bait and it would have been good. Exactly. Where would we have put Boise State, you know? Yeah, we would have been that would have been dead last we would have been exposed. But did we want to go top to bottom or bottom to top? Bottom to top. Bottom to top. Save the best for last. So 'cause we already know who starts at the bottom. It's not a secret. We'll we'll we'll go just go around the table and say, all right, ⁓ I have Utah State. Yeah. There's no argument there. Yeah, we know who the bottom is. So I really think that this is where it's gonna start getting interesting 'cause I think this is where some disagreements could be had. I have Washington State at seven. Yeah, I find it it's like who else would I put there right now? The only argument I have is probably either a Texas State or a San Diego State, but their offense is at well Texas State offense has shown me more and San Diego State's defense has shown me more to not warrant that spot. So I probably would agree with you, unfortunately. Katie Pennsylvania. I wanna agree with you right there, but they yeah, they gotta prove some stuff still. Yeah. So And you kinda just said it so perfectly minus six and five. At six I have San Diego State. Yeah. Yeah. It's either them or Texas State. And then at five I have Texas State. So there you go. Which is crazy 'cause I kinda wanna put Texas State underneath them, but at the same time San Diego State's offense is so butt cheeks that I think if they played, which they are opening up pack to a play against each other in San Diego, I think Texas State will just outscore San Diego. I know you know what's crazy? What I think San Diego State's a better football team than Texas State. But I can't put them ahead of them 'cause I they're a direct like matchup disadvantage for them. Their run defense is really good. They can't kill them on the pass like they usually could. That's the hard hurdle for Texas State's defense. And like you said, that San Diego's defense is good, but Brad Jackson, both sparks will probably be back. Chris Dodd, those two running backs, it's gotta be too much. It just directly counters what they do. Yeah, it's it's it's overwhelming how much better Texas State's offense is than San Diego State's than San Diego State's defense is better than Texas State. So that's why Yeah, you could flip flop that there. I think it could go either way. I think it goes San Diego State, Texas State. Yeah, so I think we're I might I'm in agreement. I think we're gonna agree on all eight here right now. Okay. Well I'm gonna mix it up here real quick then so we don't. Okay. So ⁓ I'm mixing up these three. I I originally had Fresno State here. ⁓ I'm gonna throw Colorado State in at four. Really? Yeah, I disagree with that 'cause Colorado State's I mean, yeah, through, you know, the week two teams they played to start and then last Saturday against BYU, but I still think Colorado State is better than Fresno State. I think they'd I think that game would be really good. I think that game defense defense is what is gonna is is what win would win this matchup. Yeah. I mean I think s Colorado State's offense would be a lot. I think Haas Haney kinda just gets the upper hand, but yeah, I like those I agree with that. Those teams are pretty even though. At the moment, since Haas Haney we still don't know what his injury's gonna be like. Yeah. R right now it's a hamstring, so that Could linger. Mor Morris sorry, Coach Morris said Jim Morris said that I called him coach like he's my coach. Coach Morris. He's a coach. Yeah, you're right. So yeah, Jim Morris said that he's he he he doesn't really have any like doubts that he'll he'll be he'll be able to play next week. So But you never know what Coach is saying to the media. Right, yeah. But I think I'll I probably will disagree with you. I think I'll keep four ⁓ Fresno stayed at four. Okay. They have just They're s ⁓ they're just don't do it for me. Yeah. And and I mean, obviously you know who my three is, it's Fresno State and then I mentioned it earlier. ⁓ at two Oregon State and Leave No Secret at number one, Boise State. I think top three. No arguments there. I think I got yeah, Colorado State, then the Beavs, and then the Broncos. Which is crazy 'cause the Beaves are one and two, but they've just shown me way more. What's crazy is that Oregon State and Colorado State are like easily top half teams in this league and they are projected to be like the bottom two. Yeah. That is crazy. Yeah. I guess it just shows how like hectic this new conference is and how we and also too, it was just a bunch of new coaches. So we didn't really know like what they were gonna bring to the table. Obviously Jamarcus Shepherd's done a pretty good job. Yeah, re genuinely. Him and Jim Moore have just come in year one and just showed that you don't need to take time in a rebuild if you know what you're doing. Yeah. But that will do it for the rankings. So we did a little bit of everything, preview and recaps and rankings. You gotta love it. And that will do it for this episode ten. Wow, we're really ten episodes into the pack too. Ten in, man. We did we've done really good and really exciting things on the horizon. Like I said, only ten episodes in. We got we're just getting started. I'm really excited with the the trajectory of how this show's gonna go and I'm excited to do it with you guys. And ⁓ by the way, I mean I don't I'm kinda asking you this live, but ⁓ we have Nate Gatter on Thursday, I believe, of this week. I imagine we do two episodes this week basically just with the interview with him and still get our Sunday recap in. I was gonna ask you, so do you wanna release the interview Friday? You want me to release the interview? Friday or Sunday. And just do a lone lone episode. Okay. Just do like a bonus. Yeah, okay. I think that would be really cool. Start an interview series if we can do stuff like that. So that way they don't have to be weaved into our reactions and things. Yeah. It makes the episode way too long, then I think that's when people kinda drown out. So yeah, I agree with that then. Yeah, let's so yeah, episode will be out Friday then of this week. You're excited. Come on. We're feeding you. I know you're hungry. After I was just begging you guys to do all this so we can give you more content. We're giving it to you for free.
