- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Mark Simone show on seven to ten.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Wor Ken from Mark Today, here's Ken Rose outa and
- 0:08Speaker 2: iced to be with you on this very hot observance
- 0:11Speaker 2: of the fourth of July. Here on the third, let's
- 0:13Speaker 2: go to our busy phones. Bob in Mont Valley, Jersey,
- 0:16Speaker 2: right by the Rockland border. Good morning Bob to you.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Oh, good morning. Yes, I can see Rockland from my
- 0:23Speaker 1: kitchen window.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Here people remember the reference. That's the question, I can
- 0:27Speaker 2: see what is that? I can see Russia from my house?
- 0:31Speaker 1: That's yes, soul Sarah Pellen. But two quick things, if
- 0:36Speaker 1: I may. You know you mentioned about the helicopter pilot.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Governor She did the same thing with New Jersey Transit.
- 0:43Speaker 1: He said she's gonna fix it. And the day one
- 0:46Speaker 1: she puts out a question nere to people. And you
- 0:49Speaker 1: know how it ended up is the fares went up
- 0:51Speaker 1: yesterday and the service went.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Down three percent. And by the way, you do know
- 0:55Speaker 2: I don't need to step on your Bob. They built in,
- 0:58Speaker 2: this is the Democrat's cute little trick. They built in
- 1:01Speaker 2: an automatic three percent annual fair hike, no matter what,
- 1:06Speaker 2: and there's no end in sight. It goes on and on,
- 1:08Speaker 2: and on, and the governor has the right to hike
- 1:11Speaker 2: the fair even more, but there is a minimum three. Basically,
- 1:16Speaker 2: they call it like an inflation correction every year three percent.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Well what if inflation is only two percent? This is
- 1:22Speaker 2: this is the way they play the game.
- 1:25Speaker 1: No, I know, and you know, And I'm glad you
- 1:27Speaker 1: bring that up because I am aware of that. Unfortunately,
- 1:31Speaker 1: I don't think anybody else is. But if I can
- 1:34Speaker 1: bring up the point about these data centers and stuff,
- 1:37Speaker 1: especially in New York, people are so onto it. You know,
- 1:40Speaker 1: in New York they gave farm is a lot of
- 1:43Speaker 1: like regulations and a harm time to farm and to
- 1:47Speaker 1: like get from from dairy to beef to agriculture. And
- 1:51Speaker 1: now they're turning farms in upstate New York into solar
- 1:55Speaker 1: farms and people are clueless about that. Now, what's worse
- 1:59Speaker 1: a data center or now scoffing up land that is
- 2:03Speaker 1: like growing food. People don't realize New York is a
- 2:07Speaker 1: great resource of food agriculture and now it's it's being
- 2:11Speaker 1: turned into acres and acres of solar farms. And all
- 2:16Speaker 1: we hear, like Curtis and Larry talk about, is oh
- 2:21Speaker 1: data centered data stated data center. But they they're ruining
- 2:26Speaker 1: paradise upstate New York with solar panels. Folks and people
- 2:31Speaker 1: are just clueless.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Bob, those are excellent points. And in fact, yesterday I
- 2:35Speaker 2: don't know if you heard, we had On Fisher, who's
- 2:38Speaker 2: a tech guy that I have on my show in
- 2:41Speaker 2: New Jersey all the time at o NNJ dot com.
- 2:43Speaker 2: By the way, you live in New Jersey, say I
- 2:44Speaker 2: want to check it out o NNJ dot com every day.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Do the show. We do, Thank you, sir, so as
- 2:51Speaker 2: do I.
- 2:51Speaker 3: So.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Fisher was on yesterday talking about the fact that there
- 2:56Speaker 2: is a proposal by mister Musk to have a million
- 3:01Speaker 2: satellites called AI one satellites that would be data centers.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Now here's the way it would work. Because space is
- 3:09Speaker 2: ice coal, there's zero degrees unless you're pointing at a star,
- 3:12Speaker 2: then it's a zillion degrees. It doesn't need to be
- 3:15Speaker 2: cooled by water like we would need on Earth. And
- 3:18Speaker 2: the solar panels would be out taking free electricity twenty
- 3:22Speaker 2: four to seven from the star, from the sun or
- 3:24Speaker 2: whatever starts pointed at, and then it would just beam
- 3:27Speaker 2: the data back and forth from the satellite. Now you
- 3:30Speaker 2: could say what if it gets intercepted, well, you know,
- 3:32Speaker 2: everything can get intercepted. So whatever the thing is, if
- 3:35Speaker 2: you have a million of these satellites all doing a
- 3:37Speaker 2: little bit of the data processing at the same time,
- 3:39Speaker 2: you'd solve the problems of the data centers and you
- 3:42Speaker 2: wouldn't have to have any here on Earth. So it
- 3:44Speaker 2: depends on what you want to do. I think that's
- 3:46Speaker 2: the direction that everybody wants to go in at this point.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Would you have any objection to that? Wow, there you go,
- 3:51Speaker 2: and you wouldn't be taken up all the land. Excellent. Hey,
- 3:54Speaker 2: I love Montveil, by the way, you ever go to
- 3:56Speaker 2: Wegman's there in mynt Veil.
- 3:59Speaker 1: All the time? I can walk to it, actually. And
- 4:02Speaker 1: that's another area you know that used to be such
- 4:04Speaker 1: a great farm, real farms, and now it's like a Wegman's.
- 4:09Speaker 1: And it's it's good. I like Wegmans.
- 4:11Speaker 2: We like Wegmans. It's not a problem. Fortunately, there's still
- 4:14Speaker 2: a lot of New Jersey that's farm landed. Is still
- 4:16Speaker 2: the garden state. You just have to drive a little farther. Bob,
- 4:19Speaker 2: we love when you call county. No, that's true. Got
- 4:21Speaker 2: to drive about an hour and a half South, go
- 4:24Speaker 2: down to like Sussex and the Middlesex. Then you'll find
- 4:27Speaker 2: some farms. Bob. We appreciate you, my friend.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Happy fourth, Happy for to you all too, Thank you.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Thank you, sir. All right, let's go over to our
- 4:34Speaker 2: friend Joe in Elmwood Park. Hello, Joe, oh, jo favorite?
- 4:38Speaker 3: Could we be talking about our favorite governor? Governor lamb
- 4:41Speaker 3: chop suck puppet. Now, I'm going to give you a
- 4:47Speaker 3: Patterson forsake saying, and I'll try to keep it clean.
- 4:51Speaker 3: I will kiss your behind and Macy's window. You could
- 4:55Speaker 3: prove to me that that election was on the money?
- 4:57Speaker 1: Uh?
- 4:58Speaker 2: Okay, Well, I you know, as a broadcaster, I have
- 5:01Speaker 2: to say, well, there's no evidence that it wasn't on
- 5:03Speaker 2: the money. Excuse me as I choke. Yeah, no, it's
- 5:08Speaker 2: it's uh. When you think about the fact that in
- 5:10Speaker 2: that last election she got more votes than any governor ever,
- 5:14Speaker 2: just amazing, isn't it just amazing? Everybody turned out and
- 5:17Speaker 2: voted for her.
- 5:18Speaker 3: I wish he come down Wood Park. I would ask
- 5:20Speaker 3: her how many dead people and how many illegal aliens
- 5:23Speaker 3: voted for her? What was she warned about illegal aliens
- 5:26Speaker 3: for it? Because they are the ones that got her elected.
- 5:28Speaker 3: That's why she next day she ran down to Newark.
- 5:30Speaker 2: You know the thing, We're going to talk more about
- 5:32Speaker 2: that too, Joe. When we talk about all the traffic
- 5:35Speaker 2: in New York City, we talk about the strain on
- 5:38Speaker 2: the power grid, we talk about the strain on water,
- 5:41Speaker 2: we talk about the schools being overpopulated. Were well, but
- 5:45Speaker 2: you know where that comes from. If you add two
- 5:47Speaker 2: million people to New York City and nine hundred thousand
- 5:50Speaker 2: people to the state of New Jersey who are here illegally,
- 5:52Speaker 2: so that the infrastructure never accounted for them, what the
- 5:56Speaker 2: heck do you think is going to happen? You know,
- 5:58Speaker 2: we think that, I think we have a miss conception
- 6:00Speaker 2: that all illegal aliens are poor little people who stay
- 6:04Speaker 2: in slums, who are in these like twenty two an
- 6:07Speaker 2: apartment type situation. No, I personally know people that I
- 6:11Speaker 2: didn't realize were illegal till later, who are wealthy, who
- 6:15Speaker 2: come from Canada, they come from Costa Rica. I know
- 6:17Speaker 2: people from Europe. They overstayed their visas and they drive
- 6:21Speaker 2: expensive cars and they're the ones congesting the roadways. And
- 6:24Speaker 2: that's why you and I are paying congestion pricing, because
- 6:26Speaker 2: they shouldn't be here on.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Our dime over a million.
- 6:30Speaker 2: You gotta know them that they know of If we
- 6:32Speaker 2: know of a million, god knows how many there actually are.
- 6:34Speaker 3: And when is Nick Shirley coming here for the fraud?
- 6:38Speaker 3: Three hundred billion fraud in New Jersey guaranteed.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Noah, three hundred billion. That's that's chump change. It's way
- 6:44Speaker 2: more than that, Joe, way more than that. Hey, Happy
- 6:47Speaker 2: Independence Day, my friend. We got to do the news.
- 6:49Speaker 2: We appreciate you, Joe, Thank you very much.
- 6:52Speaker 1: All right.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Seven to ten wore the Voice of New York. Sunny hot,
- 6:55Speaker 2: human highs about one hundred and two maybe a late
- 6:58Speaker 2: day thunderstorm. Phone lines are open eight hundred three two
- 7:00Speaker 2: one zero seven ten eight
