Why A Strong “Coaching Tree” Is The Key to Success In Dallas | Doin’ Alright
Episode 69:
Bryan Broaddus and Voch Lombardi discuss how the Cowboys should approach hiring their next defensive coordinator if they move on from Matt Eberflus. The conversation centers on the importance of a “coaching tree,” stressing that it can’t just be one coordinator but an entire staff capable of supporting and sustaining a system. Brian Flores is mentioned as a top candidate, but only if he brings a strong group of assistants with him. The guys emphasize that this decision needs to be part of a thorough and thoughtful search, not a quick fix.
