- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're going to get right
- 0:07back to Leslie Groff and her conversation with Congress, and
- 0:12now let's throw Conna asking the questions. Thank you, miss Groff.
- 0:15I want to ask you about several men in mister
- 0:18Epstein's orbit, and I want you to answer for these men.
- 0:21Did you ever see, hear, schedule, arrange, or learn of
- 0:25any sexual activity with a minor girl or a young
- 0:27woman who is introduced to these men by mister Epstein
- 0:31or Miss Maxwell. First, Les Wexner Groff, No, Conna, never
- 0:36heard scheduled arranged, learned of any sexual activity of any
- 0:40young woman by mister Wexner, ms Groff, that's correct. No,
- 0:45mister Conna, Alan Dershowitz Groff, No Glenn Dubin, No Conna.
- 0:50Beyond these names, are there any other men in mister
- 0:53Epstein's network who you believe should be investigated for is
- 0:56sexually abusing, exploiting, or seeking access to women or girls
- 1:01through the Epstein or Miss Maxwell Graff? No Conna. Do
- 1:05you believe the first lady is right that mister Epstein
- 1:08did not act alone in the abuse of young women,
- 1:11Miss Groff, I'm sorry, could you say that? First, lady, Conna?
- 1:15The first lady Malania Trump has said that mister Epstein
- 1:18did not act alone. There were other men who were
- 1:20involved in the abuse of young women. Do you agree
- 1:23with her? Groff? I'm sorry, Malania Trump. Could you say
- 1:25that again? I'm sorry, Conna, sure, I'm not trying to
- 1:28trick you. She just said that Epstein did not act
- 1:32alone in the abuse of young women. Do you agree
- 1:34with that? Graff? I don't know. No, I don't know, Conna,
- 1:38So you disagree with her? I mean, to your knowledge,
- 1:40she's saying that he didn't act alone. To your knowledge,
- 1:44gets cut off by Groff. To my knowledge, Conna cuts
- 1:48her off. Who acted alone? There's no one else? Groff? Yeah, Conna.
- 1:52I mean it's your testimony under oath that you were
- 1:54aware of no one other than Maxwell or Epstein who
- 1:58in any way was involved in afficking, abuse, assault, exploitation
- 2:02of young girls. Miss Groff, that is correct, Conna, Okay,
- 2:07miss an sorry, thank you. I'd like to start by
- 2:09asking some questions about Les Wexner. In particular, how would
- 2:13you describe mister Epstein's relationship with mister Wexner during your
- 2:17employment with mister Epstein, Graff, during my employment Yes, as
- 2:21business business professional and sorry, and did their relationship change
- 2:26over time, Groff? I knew that they needed mister Wexner
- 2:30was no longer going to be a client of mister
- 2:32Epstein's around two thousand and eight, Miss n Sorry so
- 2:36you said two thousand and eight. I think either two
- 2:38thousand and seven or two thousand and eight. We know
- 2:40that mister Wexner ended his relationship with mister Epstein. Mister
- 2:44Wexner later said that the reason he did this is
- 2:48because he discovered that mister Epstein had stolen several hundred
- 2:51million dollars from him prior to two thousand and seven.
- 2:54Were you aware of mister Epstein's efforts to take money
- 2:57from mister Wexner without his knowledge, Graff? No and sorry?
- 3:02And when did you first learn of any allegations that
- 3:05mister Ebstein was stealing money from mister Wexner. Graff Not
- 3:09until after twenty nineteen and sorry, Okay, so not at
- 3:13all during the two thousand and eight two thousand and
- 3:15seven time period, Graef. No and sorry, did you ever
- 3:19talk to mister Epstein about mister Wexner's claims that mister
- 3:22Epstein stole money from him. Graff, No, and sorry, I
- 3:26just want to go back thank you for that. I
- 3:28just want to go back to some of the questions
- 3:31about what redacted was asking about your knowledge. Of course,
- 3:34two thousand and six, mister Ebstein was arrested. Two thousand
- 3:37and eight, he pleaded guilty. He told you it was blackmail.
- 3:41You continue to work for him until twenty nineteen. In hindsight,
- 3:44I understand your testimony. But in hindsight, is there anything
- 3:48that you saw or heard that would give you pause
- 3:51or that should have given you pause? Graff. In hindsight,
- 3:54we all have access to his personal emails. It's awful.
- 3:57It's horrendous. I feel terrible. I wish that someone had
- 4:01come to me and said something. I would have helped them.
- 4:03I would have gone to the authorities. As said, everyone
- 4:07seemed happy to be in his orbit. I actually thought
- 4:09of them as fortunate. I was happy for them that
- 4:12it seemed to me like their lives were going to
- 4:15be better than possibly the direction they were heading. Miss An. Sorry,
- 4:19and you're specifically speaking to the staff or the women,
- 4:22the girls grow off any of the victims, and especially
- 4:25the traveling assistance who I knew. It breaks my heart. Yeah,
- 4:29and sorry, I think, just you know, speaking really as
- 4:32a human being, I think it's hard to believe that,
- 4:34after knowing that he was arrested and pleaded guilty to
- 4:37solicitation of a minor, being so close in his orbit
- 4:40for ten plus years, that there was nothing that you
- 4:44would have seen being so intimately involved that should have
- 4:48given you pause. And I think for us, as we
- 4:50do our investigation and trying to get closer to the truth,
- 4:54it would be as helpful as possible to know if
- 4:57there's somebody else that we should interview, or anyone else
- 5:00that you think we should talk to that would have
- 5:02seen or could guide us further to further answers. Graf,
- 5:07I want to be helpful. I did not see anything inappropriate.
- 5:10He was a master manipulator and kept me on the outside,
- 5:13and it was I can see, completely on purpose. He
- 5:16lied to me, and I think he lied to everyone,
- 5:18and I think he was an absolute professional at keeping
- 5:21people separated. And sorry, thank you, mister Submaranium. We were
- 5:27just talking about scheduling earlier. Did you schedule any meetings
- 5:30with Jeffrey Epstein and other heads of state or high
- 5:33profile politicians, Graff, like Bill Clinton, Someranium. Yeah, are there
- 5:37any names that come to mind of high profile politicians
- 5:40that you scheduled meetings with Jeffrey Epstein, Groff, Yes, I
- 5:44mean I know he met with Alan Dershowitz, he met
- 5:47Larry Summers. Would come, he's asking about politicians, Graf, Right,
- 5:52but would come he's asking about politicians. Groff. Let's see,
- 5:57I remember him speaking with Senator Kerry. I remember him
- 6:00speaking with General Wesley Clark. I remember him speaking with
- 6:03in politics, George Mitchell, governor of New Mexico, sorry, governor
- 6:07of New Mexico. Let's see, Well, early on he spoke
- 6:10with Trump, but that was before he became president. Mister Submaranian,
- 6:15what do you mean he spoke with Trump? Did you
- 6:17set up schedule meetings with him and Trump? Groff? I
- 6:20would connect phone calls, that was it, Summaranium. Was that
- 6:24pretty frequent? Graff? No, and you know what I get it,
- 6:27But not one question about George Mitchell or Senator Kerry.
- 6:32All of it matters, not just your jihad against the
- 6:36president and the administration. Now, of course that's part of it,
- 6:39but that can't be the sole focus. Ms Groff, I
- 6:44don't know. Do you have names that you want to Summaranian? Yeah?
- 6:47What about Prince Andrew? How often did you connect them? Graff? Oh? Yeah,
- 6:51he spoke with Prince Andrew. Summaranian? How often, Graff, if
- 6:55Prince Andrew was in town, you know, let's say it
- 6:57would be the week he was in town. But after
- 6:59that he went back to the UK. You know, it
- 7:01was infrequent, mister Submaranian. What about elhwud Brock, former Prime Minister,
- 7:07Miss Groff elhwud Brock, yes, mister Submaranian. How often would
- 7:11they meet? Miss Groff? Well, the same thing if elhud
- 7:14was in town. If mister Brock was in town, they
- 7:17would meet for breakfast, lunch, dinner, have appointments, But when
- 7:20he was out of town it would be less frequent.
- 7:23Mister Submaranian. Did you make appointments for any of his
- 7:27assistants or any of the girls around with other people? Answer? No,
- 7:31mister Submaranian. So it was always appointments for Jeffrey Epstein
- 7:35and someone else. It never veered from that, Groff, correct, Submaranian.
- 7:40So what about Glenn Maxwell without Jeffrey Epstein, would you
- 7:43ever set anything up, Groff. I didn't set up appointments
- 7:46for miss Maxwell. Submaranian. Did you ever arrange travel for
- 7:50mister Epstein and the girls? Groff is traveling assistants Submaranian? Yes, Groff,
- 7:55they would go on the plane with them. Submaranian. Did
- 7:58you arrange like, did you handle their passports or I
- 8:01view their passports in any way? Graff? No, Summaranian, So
- 8:06you never saw their passports, Miss Groff, I may have
- 8:08seen a passport a picture of a passport, but I
- 8:10never had anything to do with the passports, mister Summaranian,
- 8:15So you didn't arrange their travel, just his travel, Groff.
- 8:19If an assistant needed to meet with them, say one
- 8:21assistant was going to leave and another assistant was going
- 8:24to come in, then I might make a commercial airline
- 8:26flight for that assistant, Summaranian. And so you would handle
- 8:30their ID? Is that correct for making a commercial airline Graff?
- 8:34I never had their ID? Some Iranian? You never handled ID? Graf? No,
- 8:39some Iranian? Would you have to insert the birthdate? Graff?
- 8:42Insert the birth day? Sure? Some Iranians? So you knew
- 8:45their ages of any of the girls gets cut off
- 8:48by Graf, Yeah, I would know it at the time. Sure,
- 8:51some Iranian okay? Were any of them under eighteen graf? No?
- 8:55Some Iranian okay? So everyone where you handled their information
- 8:59was over eighteen graf yes, Summerannium okay? Great? And then
- 9:04do you know who you must have known who Barbara
- 9:09and bamb It was? Is that correct? Graf? Yes? Submaranian?
- 9:12And do you know what I'm referring to when I
- 9:14say BBB girls graf? I do Summerannium. What is your
- 9:19understanding of that? Miss Graff? There were Barbara's best and brightest.
- 9:23I think that's what the BBB stood for. They were
- 9:26the Stockholm School of Economics and they were, you know,
- 9:29very bright women that I think it was a social
- 9:31group or a mentoring group of hers. Summerannium are you
- 9:35aware of it? Looks like my time is up. I'll
- 9:37move on to the next questioner. Now it's Melanie Stansbury,
- 9:42Miss Stansbury High. Ms Graff High Stansbury, thank you so
- 9:46much for coming in. We appreciate it. I'm Melanie Stansbury.
- 9:50I represent New Mexico and as you are probably aware,
- 9:53New Mexico is passed a bipartisan Truth Commission that is
- 9:56trying to piece together the story of Dora Ranch, what
- 9:59happened there, to understand the abuse of both people who
- 10:02were brought to the ranch as well as locals who
- 10:05are recruited for massages. And it's completely bipartisan effort, and
- 10:09really our effort is really to get to the heart
- 10:11of it. And so I see on various flight records
- 10:14that you visited Zoro Ranch. Did you travel You did not, Graff,
- 10:19I never went to Zoro Ranch. Stansbury, Okay, I'm sorry,
- 10:22I thought you had Groff. No, Stansbury, did you schedule
- 10:26massages for mister Epstein while he was at Zoro Ranch,
- 10:29Miss Groff, It's possible. Nothing comes to mind, but it's possible, Stansbury,
- 10:34given that you were you had eyes on a schedule,
- 10:37and you were arranging various activities for him while he
- 10:39was traveling. Are there prominent New Mexico figures or people
- 10:43associated with New Mexico other than the Governor who you
- 10:47already mentioned that you scheduled appointments for that you were
- 10:50aware of that he was hanging out with. Miss Graff. Know,
- 10:53I don't recall anybody except the Governor, Miss Stansbury. So
- 10:57what was your understanding of why he was going to
- 10:59New Mexico, Miss Groff. That was kind of like vacation
- 11:04time for him. He didn't go very often, Stansbury. About
- 11:07how often would you say he went, Groff once a year,
- 11:10Maybe it was his least visited location, Stansbury. So did
- 11:15you not schedule appointments and meetings and massages for him
- 11:18while he was there? Groff? I would, but I would
- 11:21say that it became a lot less. I think it
- 11:23was more like a vacation, if you will, Stansbury. So
- 11:26who was this scheduler at that time, Groff? It would
- 11:29be whatever, whoever traveling assistant Stansbury, Okay, Miss Groff. They
- 11:35would be there on the premise. And he had a
- 11:37full staff there in ranch hands. Not that the ranch
- 11:40hands were scheduling appointments, but he did have a staff
- 11:42that lived there I believe year round. It was not
- 11:45a place that he went very often that I could see, Stansbury, Okay.
- 11:50In terms of scheduling massages. In the earlier part of
- 11:53the interview today, you said, as I heard you say,
- 11:56that you schedule massages often on a daily basis, Epstein.
- 12:01And you also said in your earlier statement that you
- 12:03also scheduled massages for others. Can you tell us of
- 12:07the people you schedule massages for other than Jeffrey Epstein Groth? Yeah, sure,
- 12:13I recall Kathy Rumler. He would he'd like to give
- 12:15Spot cards as gifts, and I know that he gave
- 12:18her a SPA gift or treatments just to help her out.
- 12:20I think she was very busy. Stansbury. Can you pull
- 12:23up some more names because we have limited time here, Groff,
- 12:27She's the only one that comes to mind that I
- 12:28can recall. Stansbury, did you ever schedule massages for men? Groth?
- 12:33It's possible. I don't recall a man that I would
- 12:36have scheduled a massage for Stansbury. Okay, moving on to
- 12:40your renuneration of your employment with mister Epstein. There's email
- 12:44correspondence in the files the DJ released that indicate that
- 12:47at least once, if not multiple times, in your employment,
- 12:50you were paid through a loan that you arrange with
- 12:53Richard Kahn, and it actually says in the correspondence that
- 12:56it was forgivable upon his death. Groth. Yes, Stansbury, have
- 13:01you received any lump sums or loans that you can
- 13:03tell us? The total amount of money you received from
- 13:06Jeffrey Epstein or is his state graf. So in twenty sixteen,
- 13:10I believe my salary did change to a loan plus
- 13:12a small paycheck, and the loan I just was told
- 13:16it was a new structure that my salary would be
- 13:19and how it would be now. And in twenty sixteen
- 13:23it was one hundred thousand, and I believe it was
- 13:25the same for twenty seventeen, twenty eighteen, and then in
- 13:28twenty nineteen it was one hundred and ten thousand. But
- 13:32as that happened, the salary portion became less. Stansbury. But
- 13:36did you receive any other large lump sums outside your
- 13:39salary Graf? No, except for maybe a bonus the ten
- 13:42thousand dollars bonus I mentioned in two thousand and five,
- 13:45And it's possible I got some bonuses, but I think
- 13:48that ten thousand was the biggest one I ever received. Stansbury.
- 13:52Have you ever received any money from his estate after
- 13:54his death? Graff? From his estate after his death? Yes,
- 13:58When I retained my attorneys, he had set up some
- 14:00sort of fund to pay my attorney's bills the minute
- 14:03he died. That seas to exist anymore. I don't recall
- 14:06how Stansbury cuts her off. How much money did you
- 14:10receive from the estate? Graff? Yeah, I don't recall. My
- 14:13attorneys would submit the invoices to the estate. Stansbury. Did
- 14:17you receive any other money aside from attorney fees from
- 14:19the estate Graff recently, Miss Whitcomb, she set aside from
- 14:24attorney fees. Graff, aside from attorney fees, wouldcom I think so, Stansbury.
- 14:30I would like to hear the rest of your answer.
- 14:31Go ahead, Graff, Yeah, aside from attorney fees, no, Stansbury, okay.
- 14:36And then I have one final question, which is you
- 14:39are named as a co conspirator in the DOJ's investigation
- 14:42of the case. Beyond the original non prosecution agreement. Your
- 14:46name appears multiple times from twenty nineteen through Maxwell's prosecution.
- 14:52Did you ever receive any sort of plea agreement? Were
- 14:54you investigated by the DOJ? What's the status of the
- 14:57DOJ's investigation into you, Graff, there's no plea deal. I
- 15:02did sit with them voluntarily and answered all their questions,
- 15:06and they deem me not guilty of being a co conspirator. Stansbury,
- 15:10was that put in writing somewhere. Groff I believe we
- 15:12asked them to do that, but they said that's not
- 15:14something they do Stansbury. Well, if we're able to provide
- 15:18any correspondence to the committee, that would be very helpful.
- 15:21Thank you appreciated. All right, folks, we're gonna wrap up
- 15:24right here and in the next episode dealing with the topic,
- 15:27we're gonna pick up where we left off. All the
- 15:29information that goes with this episode can be found in
- 15:33the description box.
